Bangaram Atoll is a serene and isolated island that can only be accessed by ferry. The island boasts pristine sandy beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. It is a popular tourist destination, with numerous resorts offering water activities such as kayaking, scuba diving, deep-sea snorkelling and fishing. Additionally, Bangaram Island features a stunning coral beach that is ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. It takes approximately one and half hours to reach the island from Agatti Island via boat service.
One word review ....a heaven on earth. Such a beautiful and scenic island in India.thise blue and green waters, corals, staff reception, stay , food with candle lite dinner white sand everywhere what not everything is great. It is unexplored natural beauty. Don't forget to do turtle watch and coral watch, ship wreck snorkelling. There is one biggest drawback which is the water supplied to rooms.you will feel like bathing in drain water.such a strong odour and I vomited twice in a day. You don't have any other option except that.such a strong sulphur odour no one will be able to resist. I request management to take care this issue and arrange for any alternate source of usage water.

Tereffic place to relax and enjoy the water activities. For for beginners will recommend to go for snorkeling instead of Scuba because the Scuba is at shore only. Drinks are expensive but the beer is reasonable all the cottages have sulphur based water for on the bathrooms and toilets so please be aware of this. If there are elders travelling then would recommend cottages near to the restaurant otherwise it's very long walk to the restaurants that all the three meals are served

No words to explain the beauti of this place Bangaram . Only tourist resorts are available here. All water activities available in bangaram resort. Tourist guides help us to do every thing. To reach bangaram we need to take a boat service from agatti island. One and half hour boat journey from agatti to bangaram. One of the major tourist spot in lakshadweep agatti package.

This is a place to be in lakshadweep. The island is quite small and self sufficient. It has got solar and diesel coupled power plant. Has a helipad and a jetty. The lagoon is torqoise and pristine. Can be reached only by ferry from agatti takes 1hr ride. Sports authority of LD has resorts there.

Visited Bangaram island in February 2020 and stayed there for 4 days, it was life time memorable experience and wonderful hospitality(food was amazing, staff was very helpful)
Maddy Traveller — Google review
Truly mesmerising experience. There are very few places in India, where you could be so close to nature. A word of caution the locals does not posses much knowledge of both Hindi and English. So prior arrangement of everything with a professional is required. To get the island we took boat ride from Agatti island. It is about 7 km (4.3 mi) northeast of the island of Agatti . It is a 2 hour journey. The whole journey was filled with scenic beauty of nature.Bangaram atoll is connected to the reef of Agatti through a shallow submarine ridge.

Minicoy Island, the southernmost island of Lakshadweep, is a paradise on earth with its scenic beauty and clear aqua waters. The island offers lush greenery, turquoise lagoons, and abundant marine life for snorkeling and scuba diving. While reaching the island may be challenging due to motion sickness during overnight ship travel, the breathtaking ocean views make it worth the journey. It's advisable to check the weather forecast before planning a trip to ensure a smooth experience.
Its a paradise on earth. Visited here long back via SAMUDRAM trip of 3 Lakshwadeep islands on MV Kavaretti, India's commercial flagship. The trip was excellent full of adventure and enjoyment. Hope to do it again
PARTHA BHATTACHARJEE — Google review
It's a fantastic destination where you can connect peacefully with Mother Nature. Whether you visit with family, solo, or friends, the experience is truly amazing. I highly recommend it.

It's a paradise on earth. Little difficult to reach by overnight ship. Motion sickness takes a toll . But when u reach this island u will be mesmerized by the blue lagoon water. The ocean life is picture book like. U can see turtles swimming past u. And the beautiful colored fishes. But always see weather forecast before u go there. If weather is bad u will have a tough time . Better to take the 6d/5n package at one island instead of hopping islands as life on a ship is very unhygienic . Overall a very memorable holiday. Food at Minicoy resort was very homely n tasty.

Minicoy island is hands down one of the most beautiful places I've been to. Turquoise green lagoon for a kilometer and then the sea of deep blue shade beyond the coral reef. You could spend an entire day just looking at the water.

In minicoy island you can do activities such as going to beach, exploring the villages, go to light house and enjoy aerial view of this island. It is the second largest island in the lakshadweep. Temperature here falls between 17 to 36 degree C throughout the year.

Minicoy Island is hands Downs one of the most beautiful island I have ever seen in my Life. The crystal clear blue water simply has a mesmerising effect on the mind and body. This island treats you with a beautiful resort and friendly staff. If you like to spend some quality time with your loved ones. This is one of the most beautiful places to creat nostalgic memories. Water activites, light house, a laid back calm village setting all ads up to create a beautiful private vacation. Walking in the 1 meter deep water for a mile is just heavenly experience, snorkeling, and a whole lot of activities perfect for a 3-5 day vacation. Overall this is the best beach vacation spot available in India. 3-5 days of aqua life is a must experience for the soul.

The Minicoy Island is the southern-most island of Lakshadweep. Though it is a part of Lakshadweep, it shares its culture and language of Maldives. Minicoy has the most beautiful and lengthy lagoons than any other islands in Lakshadweep. The beaches are very beautiful. The varieties of trees, Mangroves adds beauty to the island. The Light house of the island is one of the oldest and was constructed in 1885. It is the biggest light house in Asia. The villages, tuna canning factory, the light house and the long drive through dense coconut groves and winding village roads gives everybody an everlasting memory of this island. The beaches have bathing huts and changing rooms and all can swim and walk in the beaches fearlessly.

Minicoy is a Paradise on earth. If you want immerse in the beauty of nature then this is the place. Minicoy is the southern most island of Lakshadweep. It's more closer to Maldives then other Lakshadweep islands. It is surrounded by turquoise blue lagoon, corals and sea. The inland portion is lush with green cover. One can indulge in snorkeling and scuba diving here. There are no private operators/hotels for tourism here. It's all government operated tourism here including resorts. Minicoy can be reached by ship from Kochi . Though Lakshadweep has a airport at Agatti island but it's far from minicoy Island. It will be more economical to reach via Kochi. A bucket list for a life time.

Stunning colors of lagoon, calm waters, starry night skies, no kind of air/sound pollution, glowing night sea.. Perfect place to relax. At times life surprises you with beautiful blessings. it was one of those rare opportunities to be part of a wonderful team on a trip to Lakshadweep.

“Paradise” a word that truly defines this place. A place full of crystal clear water and white sand beaches. A truly 100% pollution free place. This island is so beautiful that I am short of words to describe its beauty. One must go for scuba diving while visiting here. Scuba diving is truly a remarkable experience, the underwater scenes that one sees on Discovery Channel can be witnessed live here. However in order to go for scuba diving one must be physically fit with no history of medical illness such as heart problems or asthma. Most important point “ Do not” pluck Corals as Corals take years to form and the entire marine life is dependent on them. The locals of this island are very possessive with the corals. As a civilised and environment tourist person do not pluck up the corals.
Suyash Chandra — Google review
Serene island. November to January are favourable period to visit. Have flight (one per day) from Kochi to Agatti. Resorts are available in Agatti as well as the nearby 'tourism only' island of Bangaram (one hour boat journey from Agatti). Some hotels/lodges such as Peace Garden Residency and Koyas provide affordable stay. No big restaurants. A large lagoon having coral reefs and beautiful beaches are the major attractions.

Island is beautiful filled with blue lagoon water and this island village is said to be plastic free zone but you can get cold drinks and water bottles imported from southern part of India like Cochin or Bengaluru. One must try scuba diving here they take you at most 4meters down and show you beautiful corals and zebra stripped fishes. You are not allowed to bring corals they might carry allergens.

Agatti,Lakshadweep was my first experience of seeing a beach and i was just blown away by its beauty. How can something be so beautiful but yet so non commercialised.Local people are so humble and respectful and don’t see you as an businesses opportunity and are no rip-offs. Eastern jetty, Lagoon beach, Museum and Marine life resources institute are worth visiting. Did scuba, snorkeling, kayaking and Glassboat ride and it was too good. Watched a lot of turtles while kalpitti island visit. Its not that easy to visit this place considering permits and connectivity but it is worth all this effort. I had time of my life in Agatti would definitely visit this paradise again.

AMAZING MIND BLOWING, I went for new years just before Modi's visit. The pristine beaches, soft sand, clean blue waters was so amazing. The sand is so soft I felt like I was walking on maida. The water was so clear that I could see my entire body even when it was fully immersed in water. It was clearer than a swimming pool also. I never thought I could find such a clean and untouched beach in India. Would highly recommend. You get everything on the island(except milk, they use milk powder instead) that too at MRP even though it is a remote island! Would suggest to visit this place ASAP before they commercialize it and then it become likes a beach in Mumbai.

Highly recommended!

Very serene beach! Of course once a cruise comes, 2000 members will arrive! Scuba diving really was best. I saw 4 corals with various colored fishes and sea anemone! They allow us to stand in front of that on ground! Too good an experience. Don't take ticket for less than 10 years kids. None I saw could do this. There is scope for local people to bring good items near by beach for sale. Can the administration help them with stoves for hot water? Also place for them with some roof?

A very satisfying holiday. Went boating, kayaking and snorkelling. The glass bottomed boat was a great experience. There was a mela on nov 1st and a lot of food was available at extremely low rates compared to the mainland. The place is so safe that one can walk about without any fear, completely at peace. The people are super friendly and hospitable. A lovely place by all accounts.

Me with my family and relatives visited Agatti Island on Cruise Vessel "Costa Sarena'' on December 27th, since our cruise vessel was big , had to moore in anchorage, we were transported to island on smaller boat, it was 4.30 Peem had only few hours to take a round on Island, hired a Autorickshaw for Rs 800, driver took us around the whole Island, visited few beaches with white sand, museum , airport, we couldn't go for scuba diving due to late arrival. A small beautiful island with small houses , coconut trees, inhabited less than 20000 people. With one School, one hospital, few small shops, a resemblance of my native village 60 years back. They live on fishing and tourisum, this island jurisdiction comes under Kerala State. Most of the house hold items comes from Kochin. Our tourism department keen interest to develop islands facility for tourist by sea and air.

Kalpini has a beach on the northern tip of the island called Tip Beach where one can do snorkeling, sea bathing and kayaking. Due to the coral reefs near the beach in the sea, the water is shallow and calm, which makes it an excellent place for beach activities. Kalpeni has a 37 37-meter high (121 ft) lighthouse, from the top of which one can get an bird's eye view of the island, a lagoon with small islands, rocks and the surrounding sea. From the top of the lighthouse, one can imagine the abundance of coconut trees and the ground is not visible due to the ga ense packing on top of these trees.

Visited as part of Samudram package and it's the first island I visited. Did the complementary glass bottom boat ride and it was really amazing with wide variety of dishes and live corals. Also spotted a turtle. Beach was very clean and I also explored beyond the resort area. I hired an auto for rs 300 and explored the town by visiting beach road, eastern jetty, secretariat, police station, other government departments, coast guard, IRB units etc. Kavaratti has a central jail too. I strongly recommend exploring the town instead of spending whole day on the beach. I also visited beaches at different places of the town and each stretch had a different colour and beauty at different times of the day. The beach at Lakshadweep house needs a special mention. As said in my reviews of other islands of Lakshadweep, I repeat that beaches here are exactly the same as in Maldives minus the water villas or luxury resorts.
