A very big entertainment place, great for children of all ages.Very clean and covid rules are uphold very well.Not to over crowded today.Great for a wee grant day out...The fish and chip's shop is brilliant, big portions and super friendly staff...just need to clean and disinfect tables between customers sitting down and leaving. Fish was fresh and not over cooked. Go and have a try. We just been first time and had a brilliant day out. The Coffee Costa place is well worth a visit, too. Clean and tidy, the lady who served us was very nice, helpful and friendly.

Had Afternoon Tea in Tiffany's at the end of the grand pier! Really good atmosphere and very enjoyable Afternoon tea! Very atmospheric and very good staff. Inside the pavilion great assortment of rides. And games, just remember £1entrance fee to get on the pier, pity it closes at 5pm,

Nice walk along the pier £1 per person to enter. Good amusement arcade at the end for the family. Good view points from pier. Tiffany's restaurant looked nice but we didn't eat there. Will book for next time!

Day visit to the area. I love visiting the pier. Lots of facilities and food choices. Cream tea demolished at the restaurant at the back of the pier. Toilets could've been cleaner, but I think it was more due to previous users. Was disappointed it was closing at 4.30pm as we could've stayed longer.

Really impressed with the Grand Pier. £1 each to walk along the pier, younger kids are free. We didnt use the main attractions as we were there later on a Sunday afternoon but had we been there all day, the wristbands would be well worth a purchase. They also offer free carers if needed. At the end of the pier is the main attraction which includes a huge arcade. It was really wonderful to be in we spent a few hours playing everything from 2p machines to ball drops and 4 player shooting games. There are plenty of staff around to help too which is really fab. The arcade offers cash and card payments as well as physical and digital tickets to win prizes from a well set up shop on the top floor. The top floor is accessed by escalator, on this occasion the lift was out of service

A slightly dated building but the charm is impeccable. The views of the sea are wonderful. The arcades inside are ever so addicting. I haven't actually been to the tea house at the back yet but I have only heard good things about it so far. The toilets are clean and nice. I don't think the fare is too high which is great. We are returning there for the fifth time now and have had consistently good experiences.

Amazing place to go. So much bigger than it looks on the outside. Upsides - there was tons to do for all ages. Theres soft play, go karts, 2p machines, f1 simulatar. Down sides - you have to pay for everything. It costs £1 each to go on the pier, then everything else is on top of that. You can get wrist bands to save money but it still don't work out to a cheap day out. We did have loads of fun and probably would go back.

I would give 3 stars, but my 11 year old boy loved it and had a very enjoyable time. We visited on the first Saturday since the schools broke up for the 6 weeks holiday and it was very, very wet outside. It was quiet when we got there (around 11:30) and it was really busy by the time we left (around 15:30). I purchased the big kids' wristband for my son, but lots of the rides were not running. He more than got his moneys worth on the rides that were open, though. We didn't purchase any food and only used the toilets to wash our hands. All the cleaning measures from COVID are long gone, and my hands got very dirty, very quickly. The floor staff were not very visible and not particularly approachable/friendly, as we had to point out a few rides had run out of tickets. The ladies' toilets were clean and well maintained.

Had a good time here. £1 to enter the pier. Great choice of amusements and arcades. My older son enjoyed the go karts and my youngest the rides.

We think the pier at Weston looks great. It looks up to date clean and with lots of fun things to do we have not visited for a while from Penarth but from all the lovely photos we have viewed today , we cannot wait to pay a visit again .we intend to spend the whole day here as soon as we have some nice weather forecast .

Absolutely fantastic day out at The Grand Pier today. 7 kids aged between 5 and 12. Something for everyone. Olders raced go karts whilst the little ones golfed. And an excellent mix of rides that little and big can do together (Free Fall is just amazing). Perfect on a rainy day (covered walkway meant we didn't even notice the rain). Staff lovely and friendly. And it feels like a safe space (kids off in different directions at most times but they can only go so far!). We were there for 5 hours and didn't do everything we wanted. Will definitely come again. Wristbands are excellent value for money. Fish and chips freshly cooked and kept us all happy. Toilets were absolutely pristine which should be a given for most venues but isn't in my experience. Can't fault the Pier. 5 stars.

Been here a few times with kids and just me and a mate...would definitely suggested buying the unlimited band as would save you alot if money specially with kids ! Always alot to do throughout the day and it's in doors so quite nice when the weather is a bit pants !! 2p and arcades machines a plenty which is nice when you have done all the rides and activities Normally spend a good two/three hours here and the go Karts are good fun ! Don't forget the £1 to get across the pier though and parking is very close and really good price considering how close it is to town and the beach ⛱️

Excellent place to take children. It cost £1 to get in, but for small children, they can get infor free. There is a height measurement near the turnstile, so it's easy to check. The pier has many locations to exchange your money in order to play the arcade machines. I would recommend that you get the card and top up money electronically, as this is easier than carrying cash in a pot. For adults, there is a cafe on the ground floor and also a pub inside. On the upper floor, there is another cafe near the crystal maze. Some games are height restricted to small children and can not play. Overall, it was a great day out, and it was nice to visit the beach too.

The Pier was a trip down memory lane for me, all the things I remembered for my youth. Great views, arcades, novelty foods and even bumper cars and other rides. Access via the turnstiles for a Pound.

It was a lot of fun visiting the Grand Pier with my husband. It had a lot of arcade games and fun rides. Unfortunately a two of the main rides / attractions weren’t working: the ghost train and the bumper cars which was very disappointing. It also only opened at 12:00 noon which is weird. Despite that, we had a good time. We’ll be returning.

Took my 1 year old and nearly 3 year old. Went during the week didn't have to q for anything wasn't busy at all was lovely. Girls really enjoyed feeding all the animals and looking at the frogs and small animals. The staff are really lovely nothing ever was to much trouble. My daughter had a go on the low ropes the staff there were really nice. Lots of different types of park area ( diggers, swings, tractors etc). Soft play was nice and quiet and my nearly 3 Yr old could go on the older things we spent a lot of long time her my younger one had a great time on the smaller soft play area. Everywhere was clean and tidy and actively seen staff cleaning areas.

I visited for my mothers day treat from my elder sons... and grandsons. We spent 4 hours and loved most of it. Lots of people after 12 so if you want to get on rides go early. X thank you staff your AMAZE ing xxx

We had a fantastic day here,lots of animals to see and feed. Staff were lovely.,park was nice and clean. The restaurant could do we abit more of a selection of food. But the chips were good. The play centre was nice and well kept. Lots to do for little kids. Would recommend.

Great experience! We have been there for your 5th birthday of our little one and he fully enjoyed! This was our first time and definitely not the last one. There are so many things and activities that you can do. It's the perfect place to spend a day with your family! We had lunch in their restaurant and didn't fancy it....food is below average. If adults rates would be more honest, they would have received 5 stars. But we found out that the fees for parents are quite high, also considering that adult are not allowed on many activities. We still recommend a visit if you haven't been there yet!

A wonderful day out for all the family! We’ve been to many similar parks around the south of England, and Puxton is one of the best. It’s got plenty going on for all to see - but is compact enough that you don’t end up feeling like you’ve walked 3 marathons by the end of the day! We’d strongly recommend keeping an eye on the timings for animal events and other goings-on through the day, as some (especially the interactive animal show etc) were real successes with the kids. The only big downside would be cover - on a hot day (like when we went), there is little shade. While there are a few places here and there, the park could do with more little awnings or canvas overhangs to give people a place to cool off. Food was good - a nice number of choices and in many cases kept very simple which was again a big win for the kids. Finally, the farm shop at the end was a refreshing change; not just the usual gift shop selling toys and trinkets (albeit that was there!) - but plenty of really great, healthy fresh farm food.

went during Easter half term, steady but not too busy. Great for younger kids although there is some elements like the high ropes that are more suited to the older children. Enjoyable day out, also offering military discount. Lovely to see and pet the baby calfs only a few days old. Loveky farm shop too

We had a lovely day out here with my parents, husband and one-year-old, with lots to keep us entertained. There were lots of activities and play areas that we couldn't use yet of course - but hopefully will be back when she is older (and taller!). Really enjoyed seeing the cows being milked, watching the meerkats, meeting some of the small animals in the animal encounters, getting nibbled by sheep and calves and feeding the goats. There was a separate area in the soft play for under 3s which my little one enjoyed and was big enough for me to squeeze round with her. The restaurant on site was delicious, and the farm shop had such a good selection of toys, games, books, food, clothes, cuddly toys and lots more.

Really nice family park to visit. Mixes fun with education really well. Great if you have a young family. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the park. We spent the afternoon there and feel like we could of done more. The park seems like it is investing in equipment as well. Well worth the visit.

This place is great fun for children. A great day out and not a rip off in comparison to other places so you feel like you have had decent value for money as a parent. There is a massive play barn if the weather isn't so great but loads to do here outdoors.

Had a wonderful day after an impromptu visit at Puxton Park. Great spaces to explore and offer in terms of animals, play parks and activities / rides. The Meadows restaurant was clean, good portion sizes for a good price. The staff on the activities and animal talks were just great. Our four and a half year old loved it, especially the high ropes course. In todays climate, we would say it was good value for money for an all day outing.

Lovely family place to visit. Lots to do and see. Great for kids , especially being around a working farm. Being able to watch cows being milked and feeding lots of other animals. They also do shows where you can meet and touch some of the more unusual animals. Lots of fun things to do . They also have a lovely farm shop selling produce from the farm and even a, Take Away Milk Shake machine, which was so nice. We had a great day out.

Favorite place to come as its only a 5 minute drive away from home. My son absolutely loves coming here, especially to see the cows! Nice and clean, food at the cafe is good too. Animals look well looked after

Nice place to visit plenty to keep the kids entertained for the day. The animal section was great, plus feeding some animals went down well. Some of the attractions were a bit run down and in need of maintenance like the mini golf but generally a good day out.

Puxton Park was simply amazing. The interaction with animals was really good. Almost everything is free once you enter - train ride, tractor ride, crazy golf, high ropes etc. Definitely worth the entry price. Ice cream and milkshakes were absolutely delicious! Oh yeah and my toddler enjoyed it too. I found the staff to be polite and helpful. The indoor play area was fantastic with a good array of slides especially the drop slides. Did get a bit busy indoors but that's a testament to how popular it is and rightly so!

Nice beach, good facilities and very clean and had a dog friendly beach. There are better beaches in the UK, but this is exactly as you’d expect. Certainly helped that we went when it was sunny.

Very Lovely beach. Lots of dog walkers about! The water was so far out at around 3pm when we had arrived and later on at 6pm the water was close and it was nice. The only bad thing is the water it is very dirty. However there seemed to be another area for swimmers with no dog access which was nice.

Beautiful long beach. (Clean) A-lots of open pub and bars. Plenty of parking available on site.

Lovely place, old stone architecture, mixed with new. You can park on the beach on the sand. One of the biggest tidle ranges in on South of England. Near the M5 easy to get to.

Nice sandy beach in uk. Good and reachable facilities with ice cream and drinks. Big space to be able to have distance between other people and yourself. There is also good conditions to practice kytesurf if you like or football in the beacj.

Beautiful long, clean beach. It does have a few natural features you should be aware of. The 'sand' is quite muddy and clings onto water, so just after high tide the moisture immediately soaks through your towel. Be sure to bring a plastic-lined or other material if you want to sit on the sand. Also the tide recedes very quickly so you won't have long to paddle after high tide before it's dangerously out. Other than that there's shops on the sand itself, donkey rides, and toilets are 20p per person. Parking is generous but only has two tariffs: up to 4 hours or all day. Plan your visit accordingly.

They supply fabulous sunsets in Weston-super-Mare! Best part of the beach is from Royal Sands walking south towards Uphill Yatch Club, the sand dunes are lovely

My wife and I visited on a sunny and warm Saturday in June and we walked along the beach and under the pier. Very pleasant. Mind you, since I'd forgotten to bring my knotted hankie I had to wear a hat instead.

Horrendous! Been here and trust me this beach is TERRIBLE! My family wanted a nice holiday and all that but when we went to the beach the water looked brown like there was sewage dumped in there, the toilets are filthy, discusting, and gut-twisting, plus you have to pay to go in the toilet and it closes at 5pm at a Saturday! The sand was wet and you couldn't even go to the water because it was MILES away. Bad weather is pretty much normal here so don't try having a dip in the water as you will be really cold in there! Lastly, the town was so miserable and old, council doesn't even care about this city, people were rude and was crowded NEVER GO HERE (well unless you want the worst experience of your life then yeah it's a perfect match)

Great place for a walk. The seafront is lovely. The pier is nice, though costs £1 to enter (could work out a bit pricy if you have a family and are holidaying in the area!)

We went for a walk on the beach it was our first visit there and was really nice. The weather wasn't great but it still looked lovely across the beach.

Lovely place! It's a shame that you can't reach the water due to tides however the pier and restaurants are plenty and allows you to spend quality time with your love ones . I will recommend!

Great British seaside resort, with everything there. You would need a few days to do everything. Sandy beaches including madeira cove which is a sea water pool, and along the beach there is a man-made pool.

Have been the last 3 years and is fab the sculpture are amazing so beautiful and breath taking. The details as spot on. Pictures are from this year festival. I recommend going it's not expensive my children really enjoy it. X

Great exhibition of sand sculptures. We come here every year, always a different theme. The competition zone is brilliant giving, you the option to vote for your favourite sculpture. Great little gift shop and cafe. Really enjoyable. Very accessible, especially for mobility scooters. Can't wait for next year's festival now.

I'd never heard that this was a thing and came across it by chance just walking along the beach, this is well worth a visit, each sculpture is huge and expertly sculptured with great detail, well worth the money and great to find out how they are made and how they are looked after to keep them built, excellent part of my holiday

Entrance fee is £4. Excellent sculptures considering they are made of compacted sand. Different theme each year with this year's theme being circus. There are plenty of photo opportunities with the sculptures. Worth a visit but maybe not with really young children as you can't touch the sculptures.

Great little stop off on the way back to the car, wish I'd have had more time to look around as there is an interactive session at the end to sculpt your own creations and a cafe etc too. Very impressive art displays on current events facing us all. Limited pictures so as not to spoil it for you.

Very impressive sculptures, enjoyed by kids and adults. £10 for a family of 4 which was fairly reasonable, especially as there is a play area and you can return as many times as you like on the same day with the original ticket.

What an unexpected display , we went in out of curiosity . We were amazed of the sculptures the 2018 theme circus , the detail and enormity of the sculptures is one to see for yourselves . It runs from march to October and is then bulldozed and work begins the following January ready for the next season . Artists from all over come to display this very unique skill Well worth the entrance fee 4 pound adults 3 pound child . Looking forward to next year's display .

Well worth the £11 (each) entry fee! (Not often you will read that from me!). Never realised how big helicopters really are (were!). No Chinook unfortunately, but my favourite the Huey is well represented (watch Apocalypse Now! to get what I mean). Some fantastic early historical examples. Definitely include this place on your itinerary if you are in the area. Don't forget the airfield outside, not much going on whilst we were there but there is an old control tower building with some amazing informational exhibits. Easy to park.

Great experience. We called here on our way to Cornwall and it was a nice little stop to take a break from the long drive. Superb collection of helicopters where you can get a very close up view of the displays. You can also save your tickets and visit as many times as you want within the next 12 months.

Absolutely love it here, nice and localish to me, I have taken my little one many times. Today we went to the open cockpit day which was really good, not been to one before, my little one loved sitting inside some of the helicopters. £12 for adults and free re entry for a year, which is awesome whichever way you look at it! Under 4's free. Our next visit will be for the dinosaur event in July if not before! Café also does a great range of food and drink, all very reasonable, clean and modern.

Fantastic Museum. Really interesting if you are interested in helicopters of varying descriptions besides the engineering of them. Parking is free. I booked a helicopter flight which lasted 8 minutes, great value and should not be missed. Best purchase your helicopter ticket (Includes the cost of the museum entry) in advance as places on the day of your visit could be limited.

Very interesting place, we were able to enter 3 helicopters as well, friendly staff who spent some time explaining everything. Ample parking available. Entrance fees is decent, the place is well managed overall. Highly Recommended.

If you're a helicopter enthusiast, this is the place for you - so many choppers of all shapes and sizes, from many different countries, there's plenty to see. The bacon and sausage sarnies in the hangar restaurant are extremely tasty too!

Today we decided to visit the helicopter museum in weston super mare! Since our last visit in September we could see more helicopters had arrived and more things had been added to the displays. This time of year is a good time to visit to see the helicopters and look at the displays without the crowds! We had a great time looking at them all in detail today. Throughout the year there are different events held which are always good. We have previously visited on the world at war weekend where there is a lot going on including military displays, veteran parades and lots of military vehicles to look at. I have always enjoyed this event. The next one is planned for the 2nd and 3rd of April 2022. On another visit, we came to see the vintage buses and displays which I found to be a great day out! Numerous old buses and some new buses arrive at the helicopter museum. Throughout the day, the buses take people on mini tours around weston. Some of which stop on the Seafront so you can hop off, have a bit of a jolly and an icecream then hop on another to travel back to the helicopter museum. We visited another time and the owls and birds of prey had come along for the day! We enjoyed this day out because you could visit the helicopters plus see the birds up close. A fascinating day out we thought! Throughout the year, there are numerous days in which you can take helicopter rides from the museum which I believe travel across weston and along the Seafront. Hopefully in the future, this will be a fun adventure for us on a sunny day. All in all, if you like looking at helicopters and getting an idea of their uses or even how and why they are built then you would enjoy the helicopter museum. Or if you wanted to have a look at them and visit on one of their themed days then you would also enjoy visiting the museum.

It was absolutely a wonderful experience here. I can understand the frustration of those who didn’t get to view closely or sit in any of the helicopters that is why you need to find out the open cockpit day so that you can have the best experience. So many units to see and feel. Will surely visit again.

Very informative, £11 admission each for adults, that lasts for a full year. Loads of memorabilia from helicopters of old, to modern ones of today. The biggest helicopter museum apparently, in the world? Was good to have a browse, take pictures, and stand alongside the real helicopters that have seen real life action. Videos to watch with previous footage of the helicopters in action in Britain and overseas. Posters and wall write ups also. Very educational, and some of the helicopters are huge, especially the sea kings and royal ones used previously by royalty and politicians. Then there's a separate hanger with over 80 to view, and an outside section also for a stroll and look at other old relics. There is a café and toilet there also, free parking spaces right outside the museum. Brilliant few hours out, then a quiet drive down to Weston Super Mare pier, for fish n chips and people watching. Take a camera also, that museum will not disappoint.

My 2 little boys loved exploring all the helicopters. I LOVED the Hind! Brings back James Bond, Metal Gear Solid and now Top Gun vibes! Most of the site is undercover, parking is free, pricing is cheap to reasonable and tickets last a year. Awesome value. There is a cafe on site as well as a shop. Going in half term gave the boys a chance to see a kids entertainer and sit in some helicopters which they really enjoyed. I've been a couple of times over the years and it is nice to see more helicopters added.

Great visit here! We went on national helicopter day, lots of the aircraft had open cockpits with very knowledgeable volunteers. We all had a fantastic time. The staff were lovely. The museum was very clean and is wheelchair accessible. We had lunch in the onsite cafe, again great staff and the food was really nice. I recommend the flapjacks 😋

Took our 3 year boy and loved it, great collection is the hangers, which you are able to get up close to. We went on a day with an open cockpit day, the team were extremely knowledgable and very welcoming! We didn’t eat however on reviewing the prices they seemed very reasonable along with the shop. We will be going back for sure, especially as the tickets are valid for 12 months!

A very large range of helicopters here. Great if the weather is not good outside. Lots to see and read here. Friendly staff and reasonable prices in the shop. There is also a pilot who you can ask about the helicopters and you can sit in a helicopters with him and he explains how it works and you can put of the headgear etc too.

Birthday treat for myself - and well worth the price of entry and more! Knowledgeable staff, excellent displays, and superb range of exhibits - plus entry is valid for a whole year!! (Nice cafeteria too - who do a great mug of tea and a mean bacon n' egg roll!!!) Well received and highly recommended...

Had a great day. Helicopters were fantastic to see . My kids enjoyed sitting in one and having it explained to them. Shop was well priced as was the cafe. Only one thing that let it down . No outdoor eating area or covered area to eat when wet as it was when we went. Had to have a picnic in the car park Still a great day and worth a visit.

Lovely and clean place considering its pontins food good. The only complaint is the the reception staff not very helpful beens they are the first pont of call. And the manager of the bar he was a waist of time. I went to complain about the beer being flat cause I complained he told all the bar staff I was bared. Yes I complained to management he said he was going to sort it out no feed back at all. The staff in the restaurant are best best staff out them all

Love this place! Long stretch of wild beach with nothing but sea & dunes to see. Just a lovely coffee shop, fish & chip shop & The Commodore pub behind the beach. What more do you need? Brilliant for walking the dog, my Westie loves it too.

Great place to bring the dog and kids for a paddle. It wasn't particularly busy on a bank holiday Monday and the parking was free. The beach was nice and clean and the area is not commercialised. Make sure you visit when the tide is in as there is only a thin band of sand which turns to mud.

Great relaxing coastal walk destination. There is a beach here that is popular and some good views over to Cardiff

We went to the museum during the midterm break. It was a little busy but we didn't have to wait. They had some exhibitions going on - Dr Who and a Renactment. It was really informative and the kids (4 year olds) had a great time. They specially liked Clara's Cottage. In the main museum, there were puzzles for them to arrange and a mini movie upstairs. There's also a little reading corner with few toys. It was a fun day out. They got tired so we didn't explore every bit of the museum so we'd be going back.

Cute place. Today it was not busy because it was sunny so the majority of people were at the beach. The staff is nice. Its a small museum but it is very interesting so i recommend. There was an exhebition about myths and beasts where you can see different artists works+ books they have worked on, there is a corner you can sit on the cleverly designed log beanbags and read a book from the basket. Upstairs has a bit about weston history. there are a couple of interactive bits you can do, puzzels or touching the potato stone. i always want to touch things in a museum so if there are interactive bits im instantly happy. Also you can try different hats on and historical outfits. You cant eat outside food in the seating area bellow but can buy cakes and drinks from their cafe which are good tasting, brownie and viki sponge was 3 pounds a slice. Wonderful small museum with lots of information about Weston super Mare. Bright and friendly with lots to see. Don't miss Clara's cottage! Lovely cafe and shop available as well as regular exhibitions (Quentin Blakes artwork at moment). Great museum for old and young. No parking (street parking around at a cost) disabled and pushchair access and customer toilets.

Great local attraction. Very nice coffee shop and gift shop inside. Check for kids activities and exhibitions before coming in as booking required.

One of the best local small museums around! Very engaging and informative. We particularly enjoyed seeing how Weston-Super-Mare developed from almost nothing to a bustling seaside town in the 1800s. (Please note their cafe stops serving at 3pm.)

This is a great place with a lovely atmosphere. Being a local and a history nerd I personally loved the parts covering Worlebury Hillfort. Amazing to see the people and items discovered there in the pits still visible today. I really love the wolf, bison and bear bones - makes you realise how different (and more scary) life must have been in these parts not that long ago. The more recent history was also nice to see from WW2, Great British sea side holidays to the nod to the Romans. There was also a Quentin Blake exhibition, a time capsuke cottage and a Banksy item topping it off. There is no car park so you have to park and pay locally. My only complaint was I wanted to see more but its free entry and perhaps leaving you wanting more isnt a bad thing. There is a cafe and plenty of seating to have a drink and a bite to eat after nosing round.

There is currently no public access to the pier. However very popular considering its history and scenic for photograph.

A lovely old Pier that is Grade 2 listed which has been allowed to get into a right old state. By all accounts, it's going to be saved. You can't go on or near it due obviously to it's state, but still worth a picture or 3

I live in Weston super mare and it's a shame to see this pier going into the sea slowly, pretty sure nobody is backing the donations, just get rid of the eye soar, although I hear the RNLI are getting it back which would be great!

Park used to be great, went there today for an hour, paid £3 entry just to use play park not water bit to find most bits are broken/boarded up or swings etc missing Got a 2 scoop icecream from a very rude young lad in cafe, which was just 1 scoop, young lad then argued its 2 scoops, clearly cant count past one... so double checked with another staff member and she confirmed was 1 scoop but charged for 2... Guessing must be new management? As being local used to visit often... id refuse pay to use park in future as all parts broken or missing and reconmend bringing own food and drinks... dont use the cafe

Its a great park and has nice mini golf, but the park was okay. Since they turned off the water the entire park's been getting a bit more dirtier but it's still a nice place to explore. Plenty of benches and a cafe that is sometimes open is ready for anybody. Loved the mini zip line part the most!

On a warm sunny day this is a good place to go with the kids, entry is cheap (for these days) especially for a stay as long as you wish. The park has clearly see better days but is generally neat. My biggest issue was stone/gravel paths between the splash pad and toilets. It's clear this is a good money spinner but a little investment could make this a much better experience

The water park is amasing in the summer...but the park and the kids playground they need care and upgrate...Other than that - great place for relax for the parents and joy for the lityle once where to play safe.

A small concealed water park with standard hygiene. A toilet with baby change facility and 2 simple outdoor changing rooms are available. (Think I would say changing shed, on grass with no bench was quite tricky for little ones) Shame the zip wire was broken, that area may need fixing but other play area is fine and well equipped. . Ticket is £2.50 per kid, adult is free entry. Staff is very friendly A few lovely trees provide shade for picnic and cafe menu is fair priced. Plenty of bench for parents to sit, relax and watch their kids. Highly recommended.

A lovely little park with great potential. The small splash play area is great for kids, however the water kept switching off every now and then with no explanation as to why. Plenty of green areas to locate yourself on to enjoy time with family. Wooden play Fort at the back and a small cafe to the side. My son is 8 and I would say that is the top age you'd want to be in the park at. I think unless with younger siblings older children will not enjoy this area. Wrist band given to paying adult allowing access to come and go during the splash parks opening hours. The cafe has minimal seating and took far too long to be served cheap burgers and hot dogs. Pricing was fair, however would happily pay a little more for a better quality of food.

Lovely park, my kids have enjoyed coming here Shame this weekend there was a lot of equipment missing and in summer they charge to enter the park, which we didn't want to use the splash area just the park and was refused entry

This is a great place to bring children. You pay by child, adults go free (even if it's 2 or 3 adults per child). They put wristbands on, so that you can go out and come back in again. We took the grandchildren, ages 8 down to 3. They all had a really good time. Note that they were wearing swimming costumes with t-shirts on top as it was a slightly chillier day. The central part is the water activities; a series of water fountain and spraying devices. The kids were running around, splashing each other, and sitting under the fountains laughing at the adults. Meanwhile, adults can sit on the grassed area, and keep an eye on their children (or it appears not in some cases!). The park is small enough that it's fairly easy to spot your child. Behind that, there are a series of wooden walkways, climbing frames, rope bridges, and small forts. Enough to let the kids burn off a few calories. Also, sufficiently engaging enough to allow them to use their imaginations. The site is reasonably well maintained, although it looks as if some work might be useful during the closed season to sort out a few edging issues, and replace a couple of broken parts. All in all, well worth the entrance fee. (I haven't posted photos as some people get funny about other people having pictures of their children.)

For 2.50 it's great value you can come and go it's great fun for the kids and being so close to the beach it's a all day thing.

Really nice place has water pads a park seating area and a cafe its wheelchair accessible also just across the road from beach and bars . Kids had hours if fun they loved it

Excellent views from the top over the Bristol Channel, Weston Super Mare, Brean Sands and even Wales on a clear day. Lovely old church and beacon on the site of a windmill. Worth the steep walk for the views.

Great walking area and has proper footpaths and also a well defined track - walk for as long or as little as you like - busy dog walking area too

A lovely spot here in Weston super mare. Uphill nature reserve. I recently did the walk here which i recommend. I started at Folly lane in the village. There isnt a car park at this end but plenty of street parking or as i did i parked near the boat yard and walked back to folly lane. The path goes past a static caravan park and leads into a woodland. Its sign posted well. I went through a gate on the right and continued up through the woodland. Its not a very steep climb. leading me through the trees and then what looked like a lovely meadow scattered with bluebells. at the point theres an opening in the trees and i walked out onto the Uphill hill. Here the field is full of buttercup flowers. the bright yellow against the green hill is a picture. I could see the Uphill beacon in the distance so i headed for that. its a stone tower on the hill top. legend has it. it was used to spot invaders way back in history and they would light Beacon to warn the locals. i also heard the Beacon is one of many with line of sight that reach all the way to Glastonbury. From the Beacon i could see the Church of St Nicholas. So i headed there. This Church is very old and located just off the Cliff top. I left the Church and headed back towards the Beacon going past it keeping it to my left. and headed down the hill towards the new coastal path Route 33. This path here is smooth tarmac. When i reached the path i turned right heading down towards the old Boat yard. This path took me along side of the rocky cliffs to my right. Uphill marine lake on my left and the old Church high on the hill top. Theres benches around here to sit. A litle further on and i could hear the clanging of bells or wires from the boat yard. and found a little cafe called Uphill Warf Cafe Bar. Theres seating outside and rails to lock up bicycles. theres toilets here but only for customers. I found a public toilet just outside the entrance to the boat yard as you leave turn left towards the beach and its about 100 yards on the right. I found a small car park on the loose ground just past the cafe. and another small car park at the entrance to the boat yard. Theres always plenty of near by street parking in the village. A real nice walk offering stunning views and full of bits of History.

A lovely and peaceful park on the center of Weston-super-Mare Town. It's got lots of routes through the park and plenty of places to chill out and enjoy the quiet. Clear a well tended park as it was clean and tidy and well presented.

Simply beautiful. Located at 78 Upper Church Road but most folk enter via the bustling and vibrant Grove Village. It's free for everyone to access and boasts a rock garden with pools, war memorials, a cafe, circular pond with fountain and a centralised band stand where community events regularly take place. Well worth a visit.

Followed the signs from the town here, beautiful park, very well kept. Liked that the trees had big labels on them. Stunning old style bandstand. Lovely area to wander round and not far from centre, car park also on site. Would recommend.

I am very impressed by the volunteers who have been helping all through the year to keep the park a fascinating place to visit. It's a great space to educate the young and not so young about some of the other creatures we share our small part of the planet with, as well as enjoying some fresh air and relaxing with a cuppa maybe once the cafe is open.

Grove Park is large park in Weston-super-Mare, not far from Weston Playhouse Theatre. It has a payable car Park, free public toilets, tennis courts, a band stand and in one corner had Jill Dandos Garden of remberance. Some of my pictures reflect the park is dressed for the annual Weston Light Festival, with paper flowers and lanterns in the trees.

Nice park in the city centre where you can spend a nice free time. You can walk and admire the beauty of the surrounding nature. There are also plenty of squirrels in the park that are eager to approach people. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Beautiful park with some nice small walks a couple hilly, main paths gentle, some lovely planting with a couple of spectacular examples, fab little pond with fish and water spouts, Water Lilly's and agapanthus. Nice place for picnics with plenty of shaded areas. Shame vegan cafe never seems to be open though.

An old victorian Park located in the centre of Weston-super-Mare. It has a variety of areas for all ages to enjoy. Play park for children at the top of the park, nature garden, formal garden, scented garden, Jill's garden, ponds, cafe, parking and public toilets. They also hold lots of events in the summer months. The only downside are the homeless and drunks do hang out here and can be a bit of a sight that is unwanted in this family area.

Beautiful place. Friendly squirrels and just sweet serenity. The occasional crackhead so be wary but overall a very beautiful, simple place... Bring some seed/nuts for the squirrels I promise you won't regret it.

This park is just on the edge of the town centre and is well cared for by a team of volunteers. There are often excellent events on like car shows etc. We recently attended the Weston Glow and loved it.

Lovely park with wonderful.,majestic trees. Sensory garden and live music playing when we visited. Great to see families sitting ,watching ,picnicking. Well worth going ...there's a lot to see and enjoy.

I didn't play so can only give 4 stars but my little girl enjoyed herself. She had an hour that's long enough for a bunch of 7year old's. However there was no prize for the winner. Did get score sheets. Went with scouts so not sure if it's expensive or not but it was an excellent price for them. So all in all if it's a group booking for kids I'd say go for it. They will most certainly have a good time and be worn out by the end of it.

This is a great area to stop for lunch you also get to view the water fountain which the birds love to drink from.

Great if you're a national trust member, you just place your card on your dashboard, there's no phone signal, and you can't use coins, so I don't know how else you would pay, not a very big car park, and you can't stay overnight, which I can't see why not. They do lock the gates, but there's still a few car spaces available. The car park is great for walking the coastal path, but you must be fit.

Great place to go if you want a walk by the coast. Parked in the National Trust carpark at the end of a narrow section of road. No machine at the time so you had to leave your card in the window instead of a parking ticket. The coastal walk starts with some steps up a hill and through a gate. You can walk to the left along the top following a path that can be quite rocky in places. I went almost to the end of the rocks. Though, it was very windy on the day I went so I was fairly cautious. Once you have reached Sandy point you can follow an alternative path on the other side of the hill to a beach or carry on to some more cliffs, beaches and eventually a metal fence on MOD land. Definitely worth a visit, the views are stunning either side and it is a relatively relaxing walk. If a little windy. Worth wearing at least decent trainers as there are quite a lot of rocky parts along the path.

£5 to Park in the carpark, which is a bit pricy. About a 40 minute walk from the carpark to the end of Sand Point and back (passing a trig). Worth the visit for the trig, but a good view too.

What an interesting place to walk through! Plenty of things to see, we walked for miles and were seeing interesting 'pill boxes' as in the picture, well worth a look. We also walked all the way to the point where we could see Wales in the distance, also the Severn Bridge and a couple of small islands/rocks. Great place for photos too, unfortunately it was a bit of a grey day but on a clear day it is probably breathtaking. I definitely recommend visiting.

Went for a walk with family this afternoon. I've lived in weston all my life but never came up to sandpoint. It is a spot which is apart of the national trust, car park tickets are only available on pay by phone app. Had a walk along to the end of sandpoint and it is very quite & peaceful. My son loved it as it was a new experience and somewhere new to explore with wildlife and wild flowers growing on the land. Its so quite you can hear the waves coming in and hitting the rocks below. Ideal for dog walking or a walk with family in the morning or afternoon. Unfortunately there isn't any toilets at the car park however down the road there is a bus stop that have toilets which you need to pay 30p to use. Also there is an ice cream van in the car park so you can buy an ice cream to cool off from the walk.

A beautiful hill walk on the south west coast. Sand point is now a national trust area, but was once used for bombing practice during the 2nd World War. It is a peaceful area with lots of wildlife and a sizeable car park at its base. It's free for NT members but cheap as chips if you have to pay. Recommended for somewhere to take the kids for a stroll as they can't really get lost and will be tired before you know it.

Parked up for a walk. Several ways to see the bay based on ability. A lot quieter than Weston-super-Mare itself. Disappointed with cost of parking, £5 for however long you stay.

I was captivated by the beauty of Sand Point, but my experience with the car park left me disappointed. The flat fee of £5 seemed excessive, especially considering the condition of the parking area, riddled with potholes that even caused damage to my car. I had come for a short 35-minute circular walk and didn't anticipate such a high cost for a poorly maintained car park.

Sand point itself is beautiful however, the car park is a disaster.. cars bottoming out in the pot holes and general disrepair of the car park.. The parking app is flaky at best and I could not find a way of using my membership card to "pay" for parking. Also dog poo everywhere on lower bits... The National trust really need to do better with the car park...

Lovely little spot away from everything, down an increasingly narrow road but don't worry was not to bad, smallish car park at the end so might busy at times and charge is £5 for non NT members. Walk is manageable for most I would say, but of a slope at the start but the main point to raise is the surface is quite unven and rocky in places. Once up the views are great and you can walk along quiet a way out and get good views back to the land and look out over the sea. Some great sunsets to be had also I could guess from what we saw.

Love this place. Great to swim and have fun. Showers being installed to get the mud and salt water off you. I just wish people would take their rubbish home with them.

A snug man made beach protected by a built up environment that includes Knightstone Island, Knightstone Causeway (sea wall) and Madeira Cove along the Promenade. The beach is popular with local and visiting families as well as those seeking to dip their toes in Marine Lake, an artificial cove built in 1927 to allow for bathing at low tide and all year round. Salt water bathing can be enjoyed here without the dangers that face neighbouring stretches of sand and sea such as erratic currents or sinking mud. The beach is regularly used by local swimming groups, paddle boarders, toe dippers and sun bathers when the weather permits. No dogs are allowed on this section of beach at any time. A great safe enclosed space within reach of bars, restaurants and other historical landmarks such as Birnbeck Pier and Prince Consort Gardens.

Nice small beach by the sea ideal for families with children. Steps down to the sand and wide paths to walk around. Some of the path is covered by the sea when it's out so can be a little slippery. Some lovely views from this point

Great if you've got young kids as it's enclosed. Also love the path which goes around marine lake, with the bridge across the middle. Amazing to see the sunsets here, highly recommended if you want an easy walk. Only downside is the parking, this being hit and miss whether there's a space, it's also quite expensive but considering it's by the beach still reasonable

The big beach is good, but this small one is better. The water is safe, and the enclosed sandy beach is cosy and attractive. The land train turns round here, so is a good starting or finishing point for a trip on the train.

On a cold March day it was good to be able to sit in the car (limited spaces) and watch all the activity.

A great place to hang out. Get some chips and sit here for the sunset. Some great bars nearby like Muddy's Live Music Bar to get a beer at.

Very clean and safe place to bathe. Would recommend this location, especially at low tide, as the water remains in all day. The tide goes out a long way at low tide and exposes sinking mud, but this doesn't seem to stop some people risking their lives trying to get to the sea.
