Spinola Bay looks beautiful and have a lot of shops, restaurants, bars, coffee and places around for you to visit and chill for a while. A great place to have a walk.

Spinola Bay is a beautiful bay that is part of St Julian's. It is a good location for a leisurely walk around the bay and breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are restaurants and cafes all around.

Nice area to walk around: portomasso - spinola - balluta bay and the promenade between st Julians and Sliema Tigne point. It can be a very pleasant place, when it's not extremely busy.

Great views especially in the evening or at night. A long promenade up to Balluta Bay and then to Sliema. A lot of bars, cafes, restaurants along just to find a place to relax at sea.

At George’s Bay in St Julian’s in Malta is a lovely bay to relax swim and party. Fairly easy to get around to all main attractions in Malta

Surrounded by piers, ports and restaurants this beautiful bay is a great tourist attraction. There can be a little windy so dress accordingly, especially in winter. For great food and drinks in the area I'd recommend The Cuba restaurant, which offers amazing overview of the bay and the surrounding architecture.

It's a cozy little Sandy beach ( I mean little when I say little) and perfect for a swim. There's a few food shops around in very close walking distance. Super relaxing and perfect tan spot. Only drawback is I don't think they had lockers or anything so if you are going alone and want to swim you will probably have to ask someone to keep an eye on your stuff .

If you go in early morning, it’s clean and empty like this. But if you go from midday, it is caps but atmosphere is super nice too. And before you go check jellyfish in Malta website if it’s safe to swim!

There was a storm a couple days ago. The beach had about 30 cm high cover of seaweed. But no one bothered to clean it. Thanks for nothing.

It's a ver good place for swimming. It's very calm and the water is warm. Near to shops and you rent a umbrella & sunbeat for $10 euros all day.

Nice beach, but dirty. and there are a lot of people even on weekdays. There are cigarette butts and wrappers lying in the coarse sand. It's a pity that the beach is not cleaned.

Beach was good. Not too busy, the water temperature was amazing, good kiosks near by, a part of it was controlled by the intercontinental hotel, but there were many people with music speakers. Didn’t interfere much, but still…

It’s a nice bay, just to sit and chill if you want a few moments of rest. When visiting in February, it wasn’t equipped with sun beds but the sand was warm enough just to sit there. There are a lot of restaurants, shops and a shopping mall nearby. It can get a little bit loud, but anyway it’s a nice stop if you want to avoid a little bit the noise of the city. As I saw, it gen gat a little bit dirty, but usually in the mornings or in the early evening hours people who get there are pretty civilized and they are picking their garbage away.

Beautiful view yes .... Swimming NOT A CHANCE!!! There are more poising jellyfish than water, there are garbage everywhere inside and out of the sea, to many dead fish in the sea, really bad fake sand, if anyone think that a good beach and sea side you all need to visit the worst beach of Greece any place!!!! Nice beach for families. You can rent sunbed for 5€ and umbrella for 5€ in the store next by. There are few places to buy food and drinks. There are small fish and you can do sports activities like: jetsky, banana, diving and more in "sun and fun" which is few meters from the beach.

A place with very fancy and calm atmosphere surrounded by boats, restaurants and the sea. A perfect place for a romantic dinner or lunch. The place is located near the St Juliens beach and party area, so you will definitely find many activities to do depending on your current mood.

We had a wonderful time wandering around this marina. Beautiful views and quite interesting boats docked while we wandered. Not far to walk to many lovely restaurants and bars close by.

What an elegant place in St. Juliens. Breathtaking long walk destination if you are on holiday. If you are an early bird this place its fabulous for sunrise.. just seat back and relax. If you are local you know how nice restaurants they have around.. must visit marina in Malta - without a doubt!

A very pretty Marina in a nice area. Lots of choice for food both in the Marina and in the immediate surroundings. I have eaten in a few and can't say a bad word about any of them!!! When the sun is shining its nice place for a walk and a beer.

Beautiful and serene harbour with a good variety of restaurants from local seafood to Asian and sushi. Head left from the bottom of the stairs to access the watersports area and walk along the breakwater over to the main St Julians area with its many bars and restaurants...or if you are feeling lucky one of the many local casinos. Wander right if you just wanna gaze jealousy at the many very expensive boats! At the time of writing there was a fair amount of work going on and the stairs were intermittently open and closed.

Go here for a long walk around the marina and take in the nice vessels docked here. Maybe you will find the one you were looking for, to rent or buy, as some are available for either. Access is free to the marina and in the cristal clear water you can spot fishes swimming around.

Wonderful evening. Didn't lose too much. The place was really busy. Set in the grounds of the wesrin hotel. This was a Palace before the renovation. The food is really well prepared and cooked and very tasty. Definitely recommend you take a visit

Very unique casino since it is located in the edge of the San Giljan harbour and it used to be a palace.Even though it is quite smaller than a regular (European) casino the experience was excellent - friendly people are working in this medieval casino and i would definitely recommend it.!Good luck!

The Casino is a beautiful Building. Registering is easy and quick (contrary to other's claims??) Just take your Passport 👍 Upon entering, the inside did remind me of the Belagio in Vegas, there are lots (and I mean LOTS) of Slot Machines 😕 The Casino has about 12 Tables offering Roulette, Blackjack and Poker. The Croupiers are really friendly, which I thought was great. They don't 'bark' at Customers when they make mistakes or don't understand how to bet, and explain what people need to do 👍 The Casino has a nice relaxed feel to it, you don't need to Dress up to visit (people wore shorts and Trainers ) The other thing I liked is the 'Minimum Bets', I thought given how 'Flashy' the building is, it would be expensive, I was wrong 😁, Minimum Bets are: - Roulette = €2 - Blackjack= €5 As others have stated, drinks are also cheap 👍 Hendrics & Tonic + Glass of Rose was about €8, which is super cheap 👍😁 Even though I left 'down', I still liked the Casino 🙂 A great place to visit 👍

Nice casino, blackjack minimum bet is €10. Good ambience, was busy on a Saturday night (might take you a few minutes to get a seat at a table). Lots of elderly regulars sat spending their pensions on the slot machines.

As casinos go this is a pretty good place! Great selection of slots. Machines really new. Registration was easy (passport or drivers license). You get a 10 euro free play as a new visitor. Separate, totally enclosed section for smokers (great!). All the common table games; roulette was good and minimum bet of just 50c made it really worthwhile. They come round and take drinks orders (but service is not the fastest). Slots did not seem too tight and was good fun. Place itself is pretty compact. They also have a brasserie (did not try) and apparently provide free transport but you have to book in advance and slots fill up. Staff friendly and helpful. Had fun and will come back next time I'm in Malta.

Cool environment in historic building but a lot smaller inside than expected. 2 black jack tables, 1 roulette and few other card tables (against the dealer) and the rest slots. Great service. Nice cocktail area with outdoor space. I was there on a Monday night and still a good crowd all night.

Beautiful casino on a beautiful location. As far as game play is concerned on a random evening at poker tables, there is very little action. Tournament of 25 EUR and some 1/3 cash game table. While waiting for tournament to begin I spent a buy in worth on 3 beers. Not sure what is the purpose of a 25 eur tournament in a gambling heaven like Malta is. After the tournament I went to a black jack table to try some luck, minding my own business, and some local thug mafioso loud guy starts talking to me in Maltese. I tell him that I don't understand and he continues to flap his mouth to a dealer. Supposedly, I was LOOKING at him and he was telling the dealer to tell me to keep my head to the table. I asked the dealer what the problem is and asked if I did something wrong and she told me to keep my head down, taking his side... Imagine that, me playing for my money, minding my own business, and the dealer tells ME not to look around... Very beautiful but also unsafe place. I doubt that I will go there ever again.

If you’ve never been to a casino, is a very nice place to enjoy something different. The main attraction are the slots, which are 80% of the games you can play there. There are live tables with minimum bet of €5. Still, the blackjack one has a minimum wager of €25, too expensive.

There are so many things to see and to do. Most of the night clubs are located here. Nice restaurants to enjoy food and shops to buy whatever you want. Especially in Christmas period it was amazing.

I wish I took the advice of the reviews here earlier. Regret going here, worst mall comparable to a third world country mall with really few if not overpriced options. Parking is only free for the first 2 hours if you purchased something from one of their shops and there's no option to pay by card. Parking space is really tiny, not advisable to go here if you're claustrophobic. A total fail. There is an ATM but you'll be charged €4 for the tiniest amount. What's worse it's just next to Paceville where it smells vomit everywhere. Not going back again.

Probably best shopping centre I’ve been to. The shops design is so incredibly creative, and the fact that there are no entrance door or roof is just awesome. And they made artificial snow during Christmas time.

Clean shopping mall. There are many somewhat similar fast-fashion brands and some selected designer shops. Nothing for me, but worth a visit for sure. Half of the mall is open, be aware of this on rainy days.

Bay Street Shopping Complex is a really nice shopping center. It is clean and has a reasonable selection of shops. The location is really good, as there are a lot of interesting shops and places to eat around the centre. It is one of the best shopping centers in the area, so would recommend visiting the place. 4 sensible ☀️☀️☀️☀️ stars from me. 👍

Lovely shopping mall, beautifully decorated and full of designer brands. Whoever said that the only place to eat here is McDonald's is all lies cos there's so many places to eat you'll be spoilt for choice. The same time it takes to go up to McDonald's is the same time it takes to go down to the eateries, including directly across. Anything you want, is there and it's a great place to chill though the teens in your life will very much love the Multimax centre above.

Consisted of traditional fast fashion shops and restaurants to more luxury brands. The place has a fime vibe, since it is near the Saint George Bay and party area of St Juliens. The place was very crowded, but for those who enjoy shopping, this place can definitely be recommended.

Average casino in Portomaso business tower on level -1. Few roulette tables, few black jack tables, not huge selection of slots. There are poker tables where people play tournaments and cash games. I have been to many casino and this one is just average. Not bad, but nothing special.

When attempting to enter the Portomaso Casino we were expecting to be asked for our name, address and ID card to do a proper KYC check. But in addition to this, we were also asked for email, phone number, work title, employment industry, and income bracket simply to enter the casino premisses. Doing proper source of wealth checks is necessary upon significant spending beyond certain thresholds for any industry. Asking for excessive personal data simply to enter casino premises is not in accordance with Data Protection Direction, where personal data is needed, it should be adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purpose (‘data minimisation’). Unless you want to give away your entire personal data information, I would recommend visiting the other Casinos in Malta.

Staff at Call- Center exceptionally unfriendly and hard to understand, English isn’t meant to be spoken as fast as Malti/Italian especially not with that kind of accent. Staff inside the Casino/Playrooms friendly and helpful. Dealers are friendly and helpful. Cash Games are enjoyable.

We visited Portomaso with the intention of participating in poker tournaments, but our experience was very disappointing. I must acknowledge that the majority of the dealers were excellent, exuding a positive atmosphere and energy. However, I cannot overlook the bald floor manager with the big beard, who was not only incredibly impolite but also exhibited a high level of unprofessionalism. Interestingly, the cashiers and service staff appeared rather disheartened and couldn't even muster a smile. The bartenders, on the other hand, seemed disinterested in providing service, appearing as though they were merely passing the time. Its not a good look. Despite its potential, Casino Portomaso falls really short of being a great casino, and regrettably, we have no plans to return.

The casino is good but could get much better! The slot machines are kind of old, staff is not very nice and the place feels kind of dirty.. but alright for going with friends to gamble 🃏🎲 Also we were playing a tournament and was served an buffet that was really bad. The food was super dry and tasteless. Do not pay for the food, were everything but good.

This large casino is located directly underneath the Intercontinental Hotel in St Julian’s – this was useful as I was also staying there. My first casino experience, you need to become a member to enter and play the games – this was free and relatively straightforward, you just needed to bring ID with you for your first visit and sign up for a membership. Membership has several tiers – the starter level for most people will be bronze. You get various offers on your first visit, including half price drinks. The casino itself comprises a number of large rooms with gaming machines and tables for roulette and various card games. There are a couple of bars and waitresses roam the rooms checking for drinks orders. Very efficient bar staff – they remember your order after only a couple of visits. Standard bar prices also very reasonable. Gaming machines are my thing, so I stuck with those – there are lots of different ones and you can bet anything from 20C right up to 10Euro or more a spin – I liked Gong Hei, Gong Hei, which is very similar to Eye of Horus or Fishing Frenzy, but with Chinese symbols. Also Lord of the Ocean was very good and a couple of others I forget. Overall this wasn’t my week, in terms of results, but I did enjoy several hours of playing over the course of 6 days and the chance to play some different machines was good. Something unusual, coming from the UK, is that you could smoke inside in one of the larger casino rooms – it’s been such a long time since smoking was banned indoors here that I’d forgotten what it was like to be in a smoked-filled room. You can avoid that room if it bothers you though. Me, I found it nostalgic.

Konstantin D did not think my wife’s ID was good enough for his establishment. We are literally Diamond Ambassador members at the hotel… 50 meters from the entrance but that was not good enough. Very confusing because I had an ID from another country which I’m not a resident from (which they accepted), but my wife’s government ID from The USA was not good enough. I’m honest; everyone was very nice and polite, but it was very ridiculous that we stay in the hotel and can’t get into the Casino. Folks from outside the hotel got in with government IDs from their country. I guess the main issue is my wife’s ID is recognized across the USA, but they were asking for a state ID which is easily obtainable. It is what it is. I’d stay away unless you have a passport. I probably dodged a bullet. Good luck.

Casino Malta is very welcoming. With all the staff that work there always being very friendly. Been a few times in the last few months and I don’t have anything bad to say about the casino or the staff (only bad thing is I lost on Black Jack last time I visited) 😭

It's a very large casino with many different table games, slot machines, etc.. there is also a smoking section inside, so you never have to leave the casino.

Stopped in to check this place out. For new players they were offering a 10 euro match play for table games, 50% off drinks and some slot offer that wasn't that great. Played some Blackjack and left winning just about 1,000 euros. Drink prices are very reasonable especially with the 50% off. The place overall is nice, a little on the older side but I'm used to Vegas casinos but no reason to stop you if you are in the mood to gamble. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful.

Went to this casino last night. The 2 managers don't understand English and their customers is so pathetic. On arrival before registering I said if you do Punto banco then only you register me otherwise don't bother wasting time. The receptionist lady said yes and request to manager. The managers couldn't not meet the request. Hence they signed me up for janket where you have to pay 7,500 deposit for an VIP experience. On paying the VIP experience was terrible. As a result I requested to give my money back on the card. This could not be carried out according to then which is like a fraud. Today I m here they are saying management decided because of my behaviour I can't play which two managers said absolutely lies about me. When asking to pay my money back today there are still unable to sort of this issue because they seem to be fraud. Please avoid.

Is it the best casino you have ever seen? Absolutely not, especially if you have been around Europe or Vegas. But the location is great to escape the crowds and the wild parties going on nearby. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, things might be slow but you’re handled in a nice way at least. The machine collection is very poor, people are smoking everywhere, generally sad atmosphere, and machines breaking all the time. I put some money in the machine and it broke immediately, I had to wait 20 minutes to restart the machine to get my money back. But I wad there to have “fun” so I didn’t let it stop me. I moved to play BJ to realize what the other reviewers were saying… the minimum bet is 20€ with terrible odds against you (hidden decks, auto shuffle every hand) just killing the skill and fun of playing Blackjack. Roulette on the other hand has min 2€ and min 5€ tables so that was at least good. But beware of the small print! Min bet on color or odd/even is 50€!! Pretty ridiculous ngl. Not only that but the table screen doesn’t match the games. The monitor said we are playing American Roulette but the table was European Roulette. When I asked the dealer, he said just ignore that.. As for poker, the poker club was closed and games were open. When I asked about it at the reception, they said I can ask around in the lobby and collect customers to play poker.. yea, no, that’s not my job.. 😅

Was the most interesting casino in Malta although I lost every day and there was no poker. For first timer they have few promotions and the quality of drinks is OK. It's much more interesting to visit during battle of Malta tour when the poker room works and there is a lot of players around.

Security and front desk is actually really nice people but the manager is rude, and uneducated when it comes to the casino industry. Be nice to your bartender, Server, table server but the general manager say what you feel

Casino is fantastic, the bar staff are great. The bar staff are really friendly and know how to make you feel welcome. Happy hour is a real treat too - 2 cocktails for €6

The car certainly matched the church and the equally elegant floral designs standing sentinel on both sides of the imposing doors. The Reef Club has always been a summer pleasure and year after year it never disappoints. All sunbeds and umbrellas are of a good standard with impeccable waiter services. All you need to do is lay there and enjoy the sea and panorama 😎🔆😁

The smoothies are delicious although the food is really overpriced. The place was overall clean but if you are looking for a place to relax your mind and chill without any loud noises from children crying and shouting, this might not be the place for you. The pool water is very salty though. I'll give it three stars for the delicious food

I don't think that this place cater for old people like me. The day started with the steep hill from the parking place to the beach. I don't think it will cost much to make a banister from the road down to the beach, which I think old people like me will welcome. Saying all this it was an enjoyable day, but it could be better if these little things could be seen too.

Nice location.outrageously expensive € 35!!) Sun beds crammed on top of each other. Not icebuckets for drinks. You ask for ashtray and they bring you a paper cup with a finger of water. Food expensive and of poor quality . They claim to be 5* but don t go beyond a low 3*.!!

Beautiful venue with a lovely atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing and not too loud! Food and drink service was a little slow even on a not so busy day so be prepared to wait a little or order well in advance. I'd still highly recommend for a chilled day though

Would not recommend. €50 entry price on Sunday. No music playing and no atmosphere. Service from the bar is slow with orders taking upwards of 30 minutes (on a quiet day). Drinks are expensive for Malta standards too.
