One of the most beautiful places on Gran Canaria when it comes to seaside towns. They have a great mirador overlooking the city, where you can take pictures and also the old part of the town, has the icon building which is a must see. The restaurants in the area is not that fantastic though, recommend making your own food 😃

Beautiful harbour, very picturesque. Lots of bridges and beautiful flowers flowing down. People say little Venice . There is a market on Tuesday and Friday’s and covers the paths down to the water front and carries on . Lovely restaurant and cafes around . A lovely place to visit . Gets really busy on market days . Difficult to get to by road but you can catch a boat to from places like Puerto Rico. Taxi cost us €20.50 both ways or you would have to go to Puerto Rico and then catch the No. 1 bus to Morgan. Small beach . Lots of toilet facilities around . Shopping court. Definitely go back , might even stop there next time .

Very beautiful and clean beach, not a lot of people during the week but in the weekend (especially on Sunday) it can be crowded. The town itself is mostly filled with an older audience, very relaxed and nice and cheap food.

Played the Par3 course. 2 sets of 9 hole tees which did give good variety. The course itself was excellent and of good 'proper' golf course quality. Excellent greens. Not exactly cheap, only day tickets sold so worked out around 60 Euro for clubs, trolley and a day ticket. Driving range on site too. Great large putting green and practice bunkers so if you have time to spend it could be good for your game. Would play again there; a good compromise between playing a full round and getting a game in.

Very nice and a good golf golf course. I player there 3 times the first time I got a free golf cart the second time I had to pay for it and the third time I got it for free. They said that the course was at it best and it wasn’t holes in the green big ones and very slow. And they still charged full price. And a very weird thing I was practicing at the driving range and went to go from the range at 18 a clock and then the gate was closed. So I had to jump 3 meter fences to get out of the course very weird to close the practice area without checking for people but a very nice experience I recommend it.

Superb and luxurious golf course. Took a 1,5 hour lesson with André and amazing professional from Germany that gave us the basics to shoot at the driving range and have a go at reading some greens. Very recommend.

Great course and facilities,greens where so quick and true and the par 3,s from the white tees are a true test at over 200 yards.only down side is the driving range is around a 15 min walk from the reception. Couldn't take the buggie which I found strange as the 1st tee is right by the range.Didnt get to play par 3 course but it looked as good as the main course.Hotel area was really nice and so was the food.Club hire is only 40 euros but I think I'd take my own next time as they couldn't match flex or brand I had at the time.Will be playing it again when out next year,August a good time to play if you don't mind the heat as it is there quiet period but do also do maintenance

Fantastic trip. Got to see about 30 dolphins! Friendly crew. Boat was not too packed at all as they don't fill it to capacity so plenty of space to move around and see what you want. Had the option to go parasailing too which we took up. Also had a stop off to go swimming. Would definitely recommend.

I booked through okgrancanaria(dot)com and paid 60 Eur for a round trip from Arguineguín to Puerto de Mogan for 3 people. The "bottomless ferry" has two tiny one square meter windows which are enclosed by a railing that you have to lean over. The noise from the old engine gives you a headache and the fumes you breathe in during the trip and especially during the 15 minute stop in Puerto Rico harbor are not pleasant. The few seats I tried were not able to support my weight (90 kg) and always bent backwards. After the doplhins it was time for the snorkeling part. The masks the team handed out were great but unfortunately the boat stopped to far away from the rocks in order to see more then a few fish. When we swam closer to the shore they called us back because we weren't allowed to be further away from the boat. We completely understand that since there was about 40 of us and they are responsible for out safety but we did expect a little more. The way back was really nice and the lady gave us different informations about the beaches close by. Overall it was a great experience and worth the 35€!

It is cheap to enter and great views when walking around the site. It's basically settlement dating from the Middle Ages to the present. There must be about 20 or so excavated building foundations. Once you have read the signs on the first couple, you have read all of them. All the signs say the same thing with slightly different wording. Once you have followed the path around, you reach a cafe with a great viewpoint. From there, you can either go back the way you came or continue along the side of the mountain to see an old cemetery and the alternative way out. If you chose the latter, you exit via a hotel. As we got lost, we wandered around the hotel grounds, and my partner took advantage of the toilets, which she said were very clean. We eventually found our way out!

Very nice walk up the mountain, great view to Puerto Morgan and the ocean. Interesting to see the remains of the ancient village and the story of its restoration. Not for strollers because of the stairs, but totally doable with kids. We did it with our 4 year old and she enjoyed climbing up the mountain and finding little caves along the way. We took our baby in the carrier, maximum 2 hour walk, was ideal. Highly recommended!

history is always interesting. I recommend visiting these ancient houses. There are many educational signs in two languages. Spanish English The trail along the mountain is an incredible adventure. souvenir shop at the bottom of the slope. spend time on the history of the island

Discovered this place almost by accident, just a minute's walk from the sea front. A fascinating insight into the early inhabitants of the island, good information boards and a welcome break from the commercialism all around. Just 2€ each for us over 65.

Interesting site with short walk along the hill path. Stout shoes are needed as the path is uneven, but there is a good hand rail in the places its needed. The bar was closed when I was there, I suspect it opens in peak season as access to it would be from the Hotel for supplies. Good circular walk if going from the hotel, up the path through the site and out to the bay and shops. Realling interesting history to see where the original dwellings were established along side the water supply running down the gully. Take a bottle of water on a hot day as there's not much shade.

Interesting place, well explained history and what you see. The entrance is close to the pin, if you get to the corner of the park you see signs. Take water on a hot day and prepare for a little hike through the area, easy though. Visit the area before going to the viewpoint. From the viewpoint you go on a path towards the bar (temporarily closed now) and continue to the cemetery, with great views and geological formations on the way. The cemetery is in the valley, so if you go down it's a bit of a climb to return the same way. The cemetery is really interesting, with lots of explanations and pictures of the findings. The door at the cemetery was open and could exit through the hotel, otherwise it's a bit of a climb back up. Worth the visit!

Interesting excavation site. Getting around everything takes about 30 minutes of a leisurely walk. The view from the observation deck is worth climbing the steps to the top

The entrance can be hard to find as the signs for it only start close to the ticket office. The easiest way is to go to the beach, find the bar called La Linterna, stand with your back to the bar, look to your left and there is the sign board. Good place to visit and the ticket allows you to return as often as you wish.

We visited the site during the week while we were on holiday. It was very interesting to see where the early inhabitants of the island lived. We also walked along the path to the burial site. We welcomed the chance to have a cold drink at the café on the way back as it was a hot day and the site has little shade.

The cafeteria was closed when I arrived about 18:00. Not sure what is the working hours, but keep in mind that mind be close before 18:00. 🥲 There are tables and sits where you can enjoy your fresh papaya smoothie with a perfect view. Therefore, this place is must to visit. The geological part of this place is not so amazing 😅 But you probably should see it as well.

I liked the pastel colours of the rock. Nice to climb around. Easy free parking nearby the juice shop on the other side of the road. Just a few people make it from the juice shop to the rocks.

Expectations vs reality:)) In april this place was dry and nobody couldnt find the right spot. The path was sooo hard with many rocks (we climbed about 40 min to the pool from the picture nr3, it was higher than the dry one). I had flip-flops but better to think about more comfortable shoes and take water!

Definitely worth visiting, it looks different from different angels, so don't miss it when driving back too! If you continue on the same road a bit further, there is a lovely Cactus park too. A shop is there for snacks, drinks and fruits🥭🍋🍭🧁

Beautiful coloured layered rock formations which look stunning. We never did the walk up but just viewed from roadside. Their is more past the juice bar. Some roadside parking available. A must to see if passing by.

Colourful rocks are definitely great for photos but I thought more information would be useful at the spot. Like how and when where they formed, geological history of the island etc. Pity as the place could be so much better. Few small parking nearby and shops with beverages. Worth stopping of you are nearby.

Beautiful photo spot. However the road leading to this place is quite scary at the moments, but it's worth the effort. There's a little "bar" on the side of the road where you can enjoy a beer or a glass of freshly squeezed juice

I would 100% recommend the cask draw experience - delicious 18 year old cask strength whiskey in a lovely aromatic environment. Katie was a charming and informative host. The splosh and gurgle of the distillers dog was a delight. I don't think I'd recommend the tour however. Our guide was great but it all felt a bit rushed and there wasn't enough time to linger and it all felt a bit constructed. It didn't feel that deep or engaging despite our guides best efforts. The whiskey tasting section was nice but the selection felt geared towards shifting product rather than a really distinctive tasting experience. I'm a whiskey enthusiast not an expert but there wasn't enough contrast between the whiskeys being tasted. You could buy the whiskeys as you exit through the gift shop though... You do get a good couple of drams for your ticket fee so there's good value in that. On balance though I'd recommend you get the cask draw for €10, buy a drink in the bar and go to the Guinness storehouse for the afternoon and enjoy the sunset in the gravity bar.

Great experience. Lots of people but really well managed with small group guided tours provided. Hats off to you guys at Jameson’s. Our guide Leah S was really brilliant; informative and entertaining as well as friendly and polite, making it a really worth while visit, highly recommended. Not too hard sell, just really interesting and enjoyable experience. Lots of credit was given to all the workers over the years who have made this such a success as reflected in the company logo of a man (labourer) with a barrel on his back. This is a ‘must see’ experience.

Made reservations for a Monday evening Cocktail Class. Loved the distillery and bar area - great vibes and decor! Enjoyed our cocktail class and even had a few more at the bar area after. We did visit the gift shop and were hoping/expecting it to have many more items, but it was quite small. Would recommend signing up for one of their activities if you appreciate whsikey!

We did the Jameson Distillery Tour and had an amazing experience. It lasted about an hour, and our tour guide Sean was hilarious! He went through the entire distilling process in detail and made it interesting. And the best part - WHISKEY! I highly recommend the orange "water of life" 😉 I don't want to spoil the tour so check it out for yourself, it's worth it! And something you absolutely need to see when visiting Dublin

This was a quick walk from center city & also the Guinness Storehouse, and is in a quaint area. We did the 45 minute tour with Alex and she was INCREDIBLE! So fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. The bar is also a great, warm spot to relax at the end. We would definitely come back.

Visited in 2022. This is a must if you are a fan of Jameson. The atmosphere is great as soon as you walk in. Cool bar right when you enter where they have very good cocktails. Their gift shop is great, lots of cool items that will make great gifts. They even have a few bottles that are exclusive to the Guinness store that you can personalize with your name on the label. We did the tour and the guide was amazing! He was so good at keeping everyone engaged and the content of the tour was really entertaining. We paid extra to taste from a cask that they tap open in front of you. This is something they do not bottle for sale. Overall, highly recommend it! P.S. I heard from a local in Dublin that he had gone on a tour awhile back and it wasn’t good but they had updated the tour a few years back and he had gone back as well and was much better. So if you had gone awhile ago and was disappointed, try again! Book ahead of time!

I did the Standard Bow Street Experience your which includes a drink on arrival to take with you on the 40+ min tour, learning about the history of Jameson, how the famous whiskey is made and whiskey taste testing. Molly our guide was very nice and informative. Really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

The Bow St Experience tour is well organized. Tour guide was nice, tried to engage as much as she could and entertained us. Comparative tasting was good and fun. At the end you get a voucher for a drink. I would 100% recommend ginger&lime cocktail even if you prefer neat whiskey. What made this a 5 star review was a cask draw experience in their live maturation warehouse in the building. We had an absolute craic there with tour guide Niall (kudos!) who just shinned with the love for whiskey. He was very insightful with tonnes of knowledge. Niall made cask draw experience worth every penny.

Not a fan of whiskey until today! The explanation how to taste made so much sense that you can actually really learn to enjoy it. Our tour guide was funny and explained everything very passionately. In total 4 drinks , one in the ticket you can trade in the begging or end of the tour and 3 more samples in the end of the tour. Used my Go City pass to visit this museum.

I visited 3 whiskey distilleries in Ireland and Jameson had the best experience of any of them, and was one of my favorite things we did in Dublin. The tour was very well put together (and Nial was an excellent guide). The add on cask draw was also cool. The bar there was also really good. In addition to their normal cocktail menu they had a whole old fashioned menu, we tried 3 of them and all were delicious. I would also recommend the bottle your own black barrel option to any whiskey fans.

We did the standard tour and cask draw add-on here and had a great time. Our tour guide, Erin, made it though. She was super awesome and kept us all laughing throughout. I really enjoyed at the beginning she had us all say where we were from and kept engaging with all of us so it didn’t feel like a normal run of the mill tour. While you don’t see the inner working of a factory, I felt like I did learn a lot. The cask draw was totally worth it in my opinion. They bring you inside a room that is full of whisky barrels and pull it straight up from one of them for you to try. The taste was so different than the bottled versions with it being extra burning and warmed your chest, very cool.

Fantastic tour and experience for any Whisky fan or even those new to the drink - the whole experience was very enjoyable and our tour guide was welcoming, knowledgable and very friendly. You are out into timed groups and have a history lesson of Guinness, details on the manufacturing process and then finally a Jameson taste off vs Scottish Whisky and American Bourbon. Once finishing you are free to go to the bar and redeem your drink which are great! We definitely spent a while at the bar trying different drinks on the menu (would highly recommend the Irish coffee) All in all a very worthwhile experience - options are also available should you wish to do extended tours or private events (which looking back would’ve been great to do the cask tasting session)

We loved this tour. It was interactive, engaging and informative. We did the Guinness tour as well and found that one to be a bit of a money grab as it was primarily self guided. I’m not a whiskey drinker and enjoyed this tour anyway. A lot of pride from the folks who are employed by Jameson. You can tell it’s a well managed organization and they must treat their people well as everyone was passionate about their job and pleasant to ask questions to. The tour and tasting were well thought out. It exceeded my expectations. I would do it again next time I return.

Awesome informative tour. Our guide was amazing, answered all our questions and showed the history of some of the best Irish whiskeys in the world. Wonderful samples at the end. Got some bottles you can't get anywhere else!

Our tour guide was amazing. She gave us the history of Jameson in a fun and informative way. It was great to hear the Bourbon barrels of Kentucky contribute to the flavor of certain Jameson whiskeys. We fell in love with this place and enjoyed their new Orange Whiskey. My GF who was not a whiskey drinker now makes Ginger and Jameson a regular on her order menu. We purchased some personalized whiskey for my daughter and now son-in-law along with making our own bottle of whiskey was a great experience. 5 stars all day and a must when you visit Dublin

you must come here and do a tour if you're in dublin! we had an amazing tour guide (ronnie) who made the experience so good. the history and process of making the whiskey was absolutely fascinating and we loved every minute. you get to sample 3 whiskies before getting your grog (free drink) at the end of your visit. The gift shop is big with a lot of items such as hoodies, t-shirts, hats, posters etc. cant recommend enough!

Had the most amazing time at the Jameson cocktail making class! Loved the atmosphere, the mixologist Marco was fabulous - friendly, funny and knowledgeable! We learnt some really cool tips and tricks and of course enjoyed the whiskey! Highly recommended…

My boyfriend and I went to Jameson's yesterday and we had a great great time, we're home visiting family and to celebrate St Paddy's day.... the staff were really great, we got to chat properly with Margaret, in the gift shop, really knowledgeable and friendly and of course our guide Leah was just fantastic.... another lovely girl in the gift shop who helped us with tax back, as he's from America, sorry I didn't get her name, we started with delicious old fashioned cocktails, 12€ each, then we did the 45 minute tour, we booked online 30€ each, it included a complimentary drink, choice of Jameson neat, or with lemonade or with ginger ale. You were able to bring this on the tour instead of rushing...... the tour itself included tasting of Jameson distillery blend, Crested Jameson and Black Barrel Jameson, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back and try one of the other tours another day..... well done Jameson x

Great experience, the basic tasting is a great deal, includes the post experience drink and a nice variety of cocktail options at the end. We went in the slow season, during winter and it was really quiet which made it even better. Took our time and only had a handful of people in our tasting. Loved learning the history, it's not as extravagant as say Guinness, but it's much more educational and interesting.

We came here and did the Bow St Experience followed by the Cask Draw which were two incredible experiences. The tour was fantastic (Alex was our tour guide and she was incredibly fun and informative) and the Cask Draw was such a unique experience where we got to try a 21 year whiskey straight from the barrel. Niall talked us through that process and gave us so much information about the whiskey. The experience is immeasurably better than the Guinness Storehouse and is very interactive, a must visit in Dublin!

Cocktail making class! Great if not the best option to choose from the different activities. Worth booking in advance as there’s not always availability. Good fun with great atmosphere! Reduced groups of max 16 people, the activity allows you to make 2 cocktails from scratch with guidance from an expert cocktail maker. Starting with a whiskey tasting the class followed with the details, ingredients and instructions of two different cocktails (changing depending on the season) and ends the session with a third drink on a private area of the distillery prepared by the instructor. Great option for any occasion from a family event to a friend gathering. Price per person at the time of visit was 60€. Further details can be found on the official site website.
