Little Village situated on the cliffs overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It offers breathtaking views, tiny little streets and main piazza where you can sit in many restaurants and have local food. It only takes want to talk hours to visit everything but it's well worth it. The village also had a beach area which is rocky and super crowded on the weekends. But it nice to freshen up, the water is clean and you can jump of the cliffs there.

Fantastic old city with various picturesque little houses, small balconies full of flowers and small alleyway’s that you really don’t expect that they would lead you to wonderful view of the Adriatic Sea. Small shops in almost all the pavements, churches, piazzas and even shops for street food. The city is “ hanging” on a cliff about 20 meters high , is one of the most photographed cities in Italy, is considered as the jewel of Apuglia and also the native town of the famous Italian singer Domenico Montunio A place worth visiting for sure and don’t forget to taste the special cafe just outside of the old city.

Absolutely amazing! Very nice beach and view from above. In order to go to the beach itself, you have to continue forward then go down to a tunnel that leads all the way down. Also there is a big stairway the leads to a flat platform near water with also a fantastic view!

I loved this place, despite how crowded it normally is. So much energy and excitement. Great snorkeling. Cliff diving. A true taste of how much Italians love their sea coast. Wear water shoes. Rocky beach.

There are beach chairs for hire €60 for 2 (closes at 5pm and reopens at 6pm) Beach is a little difficult to navigate with a pram (obviously), and definitely a tough swim on a windy day. But worth a visit! Picturesque and a real vibe amongst other tourists.

A unique and beautiful beach hidden in a little inlet. The views here are stunning, just make sure you bring swim shoes if taking a dip as the rocks can be quite slippy. There are a number of stray cats around, with one wonderful and friendly little black cat who led us down to the beach one night, if you happen to cross this cats path, give him a little pat on the head and some food if you have some spare.

Go early in the morning for a splash in the open seas. The best experience with my family. However, be prepared... It was a very rocky coastline prior to getting into the water. If you are expecting a relaxing day on the beach, this won’t be the case. It’s overcrowded and extremely rocky beach. Huge stones everywhere what makes impossible to lay down even if you manage to get a spot. No toilets, no changing booths. I would recommend this place for a quick swim to refresh after you have explored the city.

The only good thing about this "beach" is the view of the bridge and the surrounding buildings. Small, stony and dirty, this is more like a dirt road or mountain trail. I definitely wouldn't come here to beach.

Super Beach Club but unfortunately with a problem.. Went to Coco Beach during our week stay in Puglia. We made a reservation the day before for 4 chairs facing the water on the terrace. It was the right decision as on the rocks seems a bit precarious. Arrived at 10am on a Tuesday there was ample free parking in their lot. Check-in was easy and professional. 4 chairs, 2 umbrellas and 4 towels were 120 euros in total and also came with 4 non-alcoholic drink tickets so a very good deal based on what we were spending the week before in Praiano. Views are excellent of the sea and staff were very helpful. There is a coffee and snack bar with many options including food at we I feel is a very reasonable price. We had 4 takeaway salads with salmon, chicken, tuna and 4 alcoholic drinks for 72 euros, they were very good. The staff at the coffee bar were very friendly and made quick work of the orders. There is also an outdoor lunch restaurant with a menu which looked great, didn’t eat there as we were going for dinner at night. We will try before we leave. All restroom, changing rooms and facilities are very clean. All in all a great experience. FYI if you come you will need a swim cap for the pool.

Paid 70Euro for 2 sunbeds. Ok, it’s 20 euro more than Sorrento but ok, maybe they have extra special service? No service. They gave us 2 drinks cards upon entry that didn’t even cover soft drink. They charged me as ‘birre ’ even though I ordered Coke Zero and didn’t have beer. I asked if this was correct and showed the beer specified on the receipt because it’s my first time here and I don’t understand why they would do this and charge me for something I didn’t order instead of using my card for the soft drink. Coco Beach club was beautiful, we went to spend the day there at the pool and the beach. You need to bring your own cap for the pool or purchase one there. The service and food was great, and Silvia from the front desk was amazing! Very helpful and nice, and helped arrange our ride there and back from the train station.

When touring the Puglia region of Italy CoCo Beach club is a must stop for Rest and relaxation. Full stock bar and a great lunch menu makes (panini and mixed seafood grill is what I recommend) the place an enjoyable getaway from your holiday tour.

Horrible Experience - Disorganized and Rude Staff I recently had the misfortune of attending an event at this reception hall, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. Came here for the gal project, had a tour booked with a biologist,I was late and she just left. We stayed in a hotel outside the lovely town of Polignano a Mare. As we didn’t rent a car we travelled by train and bus. We called in to get directions to Alberobello by bus and was told where the bus stopped but after waiting a while we then saw it on the opposite road and just made it over the busy road. We then arrived at another place where we had to go across the road and buy another ticket and catch another bus. The driver told us to get off at a stop and wait for another bus, we waited ages then asked and was told go to another stop. TWO HOURS later we caught another bus then a train. Over three hours for less than an hour by car. Train line is being repaired so bus required. Given details to go to Bar Royal in Alberobello .. Police said it closed TEN YEARS ago. Careful of Robbery!!! Very nice beach with free parking. I would have given it 5 stars but I got robbed here. I mistakenly left my bag pack in the back seat of a rental car under the seat and locked my car (double checked). In it, I had my Bose headphones and Nintendo switch, some cash, clothes and passport. When I went back, I found out that my bag pack was opened, my cigarettes were gone and so was all my gadgets and cash (about 200 euros) were gone from a LOCKED SUV!! . When i called the cops, they said no English and hung up on me. This was a rental car. When I read the other reviews I found out that there is gang targeting on rental cars. If you are a tourist with rental car please be very very careful. They use devices to unlock the car. This was my last day in Italy and it left me with a sour ending! Don’t think I will ever go back here again!

Nice beach. We also had lunch and the pizza was great and so was the salmon salad. Overall - reasonably good value, but we have been to better each clubs in Italy for the same cost. The music could have been better. There is plenty of parking in the street by the Lido.

Clean, a lot of facilities, worth the price but it can get crowded, well maintained. Beautiful cove swimming area, shallow but a lot of rocks, overall very nice and clean but crowded during summer months.

Avoid the restaurant and particularly using the barcode ordering system. We first got double charged for our first order. With our second order, after we’d paid (and the bank had confirmed the charge) the restaurant claimed the order was not paid for and did not deliver our food. When we raised this with Roberto, the manager, he was rude and dismissive. He suggested we come back the next day to seek refund, in case the bank did not return our money for our uncancelled order! There are no other dining options here. Particularly the way Roberto engaged with us spoiled the whole facility for us. Avoid.

This is a don't-miss, must-go experience in Polignano. The beach was pristine, the service was excellent, the food good and affordably priced. We said we'd book for one day and my wife immediately booked us in for the next two. On the beach at San Giovanni by day and walking/eating/drinking around Polignano at night made for a perfect holiday. Highly, highly recommend.

Lovely Lido, although quite pricey. €50 for an umbrella and two sun loungers set back from the ocean. Clean facilities: toilets, changing rooms, beach. Couldn’t get their app to work but the beach bar is close by. €4.50 for a bottle of beer. Worth spending at least half a day to get value for money. Staff are very sweet and helpful.

The beach is excelent. But in the morning there are too much children screaming and shouting all time and in the afternoon, all the people that had been drinking wine in the beach (wich is allowed even into the water), are shouting and laughing with no education. And the lifeguards didn’t help us with this because selling wine is a business! Dont go! Relation Quality Price very bad!

We loved this tour. It's a luxury oriented tour wine tour and tasting, with a warm cozy home feeling and also highly informative. My wife and I were so happy to meet up with Elena at her families vineyard. She gave us a wonderful tour of her wine cellar which was all organic and environmentally green. Then she served us a beautiful meal comprising of cheeses, jams, breads, bruschetta, fruits and 5 varieties of beautiful organic wines. We bought a case of wine which arrived in NYC in 10 days later. Thanks you Elena for a wonderful experience.

As others have said, this is a magical place. We arranged for a wine tasting after trying their wine a few nights earlier in Bari. The tasting highlighted not only their wines, but also the simple and wonderful food Italy in general, and Puglia specifically, have to offer. Giovanni was a wonderful host with an exceptional knowledge of wine. Overall the experience was wonderful, but you will wish it would last longer. Maybe arrange for two wine tastings : D

My wife and I had an amazing time at San Vito on our honeymoon. Giovanni (and Andrea the dog) took us on a tour of their beautiful vineyard before setting us down for a lunch made up of beautiful Puglian delicacies. We've been to several vineyards now and this one was by far the best, Giovanni was an incredible guide and he gave us a truly special day during our trip. The wine is also fantastic. With Giovanni able to take you through all the tasting notes and processes that go into making each bottle. A really fantastic place to visit, worth every penny.

As we rattled and bounced our way in a wonderful little tuk tuk along the country lanes just outside Polignano, glimpsing the Adriatic on one side and the olive groves and vineyards on the other, we started to sense that we were in for a treat! We weren't mistaken! It was the last day of our Puglian holiday and we definitely saved the best til last! We were met at the splendid gates of the Estate by the fabulous and charismatic Giovanni who introduced us to this little corner of paradise. A family-run business, this beautiful winery took our breath away at every turn. Immaculately cared for, and lovingly presented to its guests, we were first treated to a tour of the estate with a passionate explanation of its history and how it all works. They even had the most beautiful donkeys, each of which Giovanni had seen born! The tour was followed by one of the most wonderful wine-tastings and food-pairings that I have experienced (I used to take people to wineries in Chile and have been to many across the globe). It was incredibly interesting and educational and above all so much fun, and we tasted so much delicious produce from the smallholding. In the late afternoon sunshine, we were introduced to Giovanni's adorable sister and father too and were made to feel so very welcome in their space. This didn't have anything of the conveyor belt type tours that I have experienced before, but was very personal, like being welcomed in to a private little enclave that the family are clearly so passionate about. If you want a really authentic experience and the most delicious wine and local produce tasting, in one of the most stunning settings, Terre di San Vito is for you. Unmissable.

I cannot express how magical this place is! Touring this beautiful winery and having a wine tasting here was absolutely the highlight of my trip. Giacomo, our host, was so knowledgeable, welcoming and passionate about the estate and the wines. You definitely need to experience this place while you are in Puglia!

Amazing experience, Elena was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome. The vineyard is exceptional and the perfect setting to fully appreciate the wines we tasted. The pairing with the food was well thought out and for a beginner like me well explained. Elena brought great knowledge, passion and history of Apulian wine and her family’s work on producing theirs. A must stop if you are visiting Puglia. We arranged a taxi there and back from Pezze di Greco (about 36km away and took 30mins) and it cost €60 each way to give you an idea of price. The tour lasts two hours but allow some time at the end to spend in the shop.

Just spent a fabulous morning with host, Elena, sampling the amazing wine and food from this stunning vineyard in the heart of Puglia. One of the best vineyards I've ever been to! I highly recommend this winery if ever visiting Puglia! The wine tasting was amazing and all the food that came along with it! My wife and I enjoyed one of the best quality wine tastings and tours we have ever experienced! Giovanni provided exemplary service, from prior-arrival coordination up to and through the tour and tasting. We were joined by six lovely women from Holland on a business trip to Italy - we had a terrific time. Giovanni started with a tour of the vines and cellars, then we proceeded to the tasting room for five wines and a wonderful assortment of foods. Wow - the quality of the Focaccia, olives, cheeses, artichokes, vegetables, and fruits - the photos don't adequately depict how wonderful everything tasted. Giovanni was an extraordinary guide and truly showed his passion for the wine's estate and the wine tasting experience. The event lasted almost 3.5 hours - we had such a great time. As others have said, this was a highlight of our 7-week European adventure. We had wine shipped back to Ohio. Anyone in Puglia who enjoys wine must stop by and partake of this experience!
