We visited yesterday 21st August we did the 25km trip , which in all honesty was probably a bit much for my17 year old and the wife. I paddled my other son and yeah by the end I was a bit tired. But it's well worth doing , very organised and well run . And the scenery is stunning

Fantastic experience canoing down the beautifully peaceful and atmospheric Dordogne river, we were also provided with a waterproof bucket for our belongings which was a great thing to have in case of capsizing, and we were collected by minivan at the end so we didnt habe to worry about coming back ourselves and got to enjoy as much of the river as time would allow. As an old town house of some importance it’s a good place to visit with its regency musical background and we were surprised there weren’t more people there. It added to our stay in Sarlat.

when you walk into the elevator, take the right side for church, left for city and elevator door for manoir. Dont go to the back, not worth it. the top 360 view has glass barrier, I suggest all photographer to go there early because the sun can cause reflection on the glass

I was in Sarlat in the middle of June and this lift was barely in operation. One day it was closed for ‘too high heat’ (high 20s so definitely not that hot. Do they ever open in July and August?), another day for ‘strong wind’ (sure it was a little windy, but not such a strong wind to think it would affect a lift). Too high safety standards or plain laziness?

The view from the tower was great. The gentleman operating the lift was either drunk or on drugs. We didn’t enjoy being manhandled or taken the **** out of. Wonderful place but this tarnished our experience.

Great place to challenge yourself with plenty of new sections before you get to 'The big one' at the end of the black sections. Take plenty of water and you can leave a backpack in the office where you get kitted up.

Visited for free to see the farm and hear about the operations and from previous reviews, to see how the geese are feed. unfortunately, they didn't show us how they were fed but did tell us (in French) how their farm operated. We got the opportunity to try the fois gros, which was amazing. Recommend for fluent French speakers only. we didn't eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on the restaurant/food/service.

Confit of duck overcooked and potatoes were pasty, probably cooked from frozen. Cannot fault the ambiance and service.

Great bike hire shop (we used them twice). Good bikes, helpful staff and very convenient for parking the car and cycling the, well maintained, Voie Verte (bicycle greenway). These routes are pretty flat and take in lovely scenery with villages just off the route for coffee breaks and lunch.

The Green route was so perfect - no cars and very scenic. The service was also great - our e-bikes were brilliant and we got locks and helmets. We felt it was efficient and a highlight from our holiday.

When there was an disagreement between our group and them later, we were told, “you cannot peddle, and it is not our fault”, along with other irresponsible, disrespectful and unprofessional comments. Fun ride. Quick service. Decent bikes. Reasonable prices. 4 hr ride and do in the Dordogne. We don't cycle often but it was a lot of fun and not too tiirng. Quite flat track.

Great bike rental experience. After a short wait we were given a couple of electric city bikes. The ‘voie verte’ cycle path starts right outside the rental station and we rode its full length to Cazoules, about 40km there and back. As it happens, we probably didn’t need the extra assistance of battery power as the route is fairly flat but it was great fun nevertheless. The bikes performed faultlessly. Highly recommended place to rent bikes.
