Last minute decision to visit a vineyard while staying in Pézenas turned into a beautiful afternoon. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children but were accommodated with smiles and warmth from Cécile, the owner. Lunch was served in the courtyard and then the kids frolicked in the gardens after. Bought a couple of bottles to go. Absolutely charmed by this dreamy property.

We really wanted to hire this place for our wedding. As it says on their website it is possible. So we emailed the owner an they told us that it was ok to come by and ask a few questions. We travelled from Sweden to talk to them in person och plan our wedding. When we got to de peyrat the owner was really rude and said she did not have time for us al though she expllicitly told us that it was ok to come by at 11 am any day. After this they told us they only wanted contact by email. We started to email them but did not get any response. So we came by de peyrat again just to ask why we didnt get any response. The owner was even more rude this time and it ended up with her saying book somwhere else. I do not recomend trying to hire this place as you will get disapointed. The picnic they have is probably good as i seen on other rewiewers and the place i beautiful. But the atitude and the not welcoming feeling drags this place down.

Owner is superfriendly and just a warm person. We had a lovely welcome, a great tour on the site. It's a very historical and beautiful place. We also had the picnic including a wine tasting. Portions were more than enough, went home with a full belly :) Also a tiny workshop to prepare a mediteranian snack. All the products were local and superfresh. I'm usually not a fan of red wine, but here we went home with 4 bottles, probably the best red wines I ever had!

If you were born before 1980, you will likely find some of your childhood toys here. The older you are the more likely you are to find it interesting. You can spend an hour or two here just looking. The owners are friendly and helpful but have fairly limited English. There is a 2 page guide printed in English but French speakers are likely to enjoy the visit more.

We got married at Domaine St. Hilaire this summer and are so glad we chose this venue! The Domaine itself is stunning, it's an ideal setting for a wedding with multiple spaces for different parts of the day. We also decided to hold a wine tasting & barbecue for our guests in the week beforehand, which was very well organised by the venue. The wine itself is excellent and reasonably priced, many of our guests wanted to take some home. Finally, our whole experience was so much smoother thanks to Ina and the staff who are incredibly helpful, professional and friendly. We cannot recommend this venue enough, this is the place for your wedding!

On a recommendation we went for the BBQ lunch with wine flight. Lovely little courtyard garden setting with 3 course and 5 (+1 ) different wines. Great value, friendly service and superb wine and food. Popped into the shop afterwards to get a few bottles for home.

Domaine St Hilaire has it all. Great logistics, a beautiful landscape, big outside space and lovely owners who pay attention to detail. If you're looking for a venue to host your wedding, this has to be the one.

We had the most wonderful week with our friends at Domaine Saint Hilaire in 2016 and since then have visited this fabulous house and vineyard on a number of occasions (I loved the house so much, I painted it - see photo included here!). The house is beautifully appointed and we have enjoyed seeing the constant improvements made by the owners. The new 'salon' and the terrace by the pool are truly stunning, and all the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It goes without saying that the wines are superb and any visit should include a tasting hosted by Edouard, who I found totally charming. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here and are looking forward to our next visit later this year.

We loved the roses everywhere, the delicious wine and general grandness of the place. Could do with some space clearing of negative energies though. History has left some energetic marks.

So much fun that we are returning. It helps that the lovely home is spacious and comfortable. Every bedroom has en-suite luxury bathrooms. A big plus with multiple generations. Gorgeous old growth park beyond the pool. Quiet, restorative, historic. Had 3 generations last year, shooting for 4 in 2018. Hoping the 'ancients' will join us. Petanque was a big hit too.

My family and I visited from overseas in 2018. My partner speaks French but I don't. It was a pleasant surprise to find the staff speak English and we're quite accommodating.
