We came to use Terminal 3 for departing passengers. Using automatic baggage loading Very convenient, didn't have to wait long. Once done, go scan your baggage and wait to board the plane. While waiting, we ordered beef and grilled chicken. They tasted okay. We liked it here.

This is probably the best spotting location at Haneda Airport. You can see all terminal 3 and 1 apron traffic and all rwy 16R/34L traffic. In the distance you can even see rwy 22 landings. There is a mesh fence but you can still take great pictures! With the observation deck facing north you’ve got great lighting throughout most of the day. Snack and drink machines are on the deck too.

Very nice place to sit before flight to clear your head and get through Customs and close yourself in an Air-conditioned environment. Perfect for having some food on your own or in a small group, tables can fit 4 adults easily.

Great airport… very large! Had to use the moving walkway to get from the plane to immigration/customs. On my way back home I was lucky to have a ticket that allowed me to get into the first class lounge… very nice. I usually travel economy so this was a real treat. Observation deck was really nice. This is a great spot to come watch as planes land and takeoff from Haneda Airport. It's accessible by an elevator from the Departures side at Terminal 3. There is a cafe connected to the observation deck, and is located within the Tokyo Pop Town.

Such a fun way to spend half an hour, a whole hour, of even a few hours. Watching planes take off when the skies are blue is second to none. There are a few vending machines here as well as an indoor seating area for those cold/rainy/snowy/windy days.

I rate it at 4 stars because the look of the shops and airport itself (99% of the shops are still closed due to COVID-19) looks like fun to shop and walk around. I spend most of my time inside the ANA lounge. They're self-serve hot food now. A must try "noodle bar."

Efficient both ways through. The current quarantine and testing procedures are far from ideal and sadly many of the stores around the airport are shuttered. Returning through Haneda has shades of 28 Weeks Later, but the staff are very polite and friendly and I had no problems whatsover - even with the testing time I was out of the airport within 90 minutes of landing!

I'm impressed. Legit this airport is humongous and yet the check in, security, and getting to the gate were faster than any airport I've flown out of in the USA. Very efficient. Literally tons of food options. The food won't break the bank either. Fresh bowl of ramen for about 7 bucks American! I can't even buy a soda for that in summer airports. Did I mention the vending machines? Food and drink for about 2-5 US!

This airport was very clean and well organized. The customs process was smooth and efficient. The design was modern with a touch of Japanese culture, especially where the shopping area overlooks the departure check-in area. At 3 or 4 stories above everything, there was an excellent view of the entire airport. I loved loved loved the fact that all the washrooms had bidets! If only North America could start having them everywhere as well. In case anyone needs to, I had to seek emergency medical care, and there's a clinic within Terminal 3 that had extremely polite doctors and nurses that took very good care of me. It cost ¥5000 for the initial consultation, and then a bit more for prescribed medications. My insurance coverage with Sun Life (in Canada) will cover it, but the clinic did not accept direct billing so I had to pay up-front first and get reimbursed later.

Wow!! This is definitely my new favorite airport! Very high-end shops here too like Tiffany and Gucci. The food is amazing and the entire atmosphere is tops!

The plane back to LA was the furthest gate in the airport so plan accordingly. The lady who checked our bags was patient, courteous, and encouraged us as we tried to get our bag under the weight limit. Noticed a emergency happening on the tarmac and the staff was working harder than ever to help. Overall great staff and airport

We also could not find Tokyo pop town, Edo market place and the TIAT sky hall. We were very excited to see these attractions within the airport as well as have breakfast in the Edo marketplace as there is no open cafe in the departure area. Overall the airport is clean and has cool features like no armrests in the seats (so you can sleep on them) and the airport has exceptional security and staff and i felt very safe in the building. The bidets at the toilets are a welcome touch of Japanese technology and the airport has braille and audio for the blind and deaf, this is something that isn't seen in many airports and something that japan does optionally well. Only 4 restaurants (a bar, 2 Japanese restaurants and an american burger joint) were open, Please beware that these restaurants are super expensive and no fast food or recognisable brands were in terminal 3. There are also only expensive duty free stores and a pharmacy meaning the Japanese vending machines are the only options for a snack. Very expensive airport with no where to get a coffee. Very disappointing compares to the excellent Narita experience (haneda does have a better view however)

I was here for a 10 hour layover in the international terminal. The facilities were very clean, the workers clearly work hard to maintain the exceptionally clean environment. Due to Covid, many of the shops were closed, but I still appreciate the fact that 3 of the restaurants in the food court area were open. A few of the gift shop stores were also open. Overall, I liked the airport and appreciate the cleanliness of everything.

The airport was fairly close to the city centre and as efficient as everyone could imagine (it’s Japan after all!) One thing that really impressed me (maybe just me) was the souvenir shops! I have always been a fan of Japanese snacks/maraca/chocolate and etc so I was quite worried if I couldn’t buy some Japanese goodies back this time (as I’m doing a 6am flight this time and haven’t had much shopping time in the city). But then the Japanese totally knows what you are thinking and this souvenir shop I went at 4am (yes crazy) was pretty good and got every/almost every goodies I want. So don’t worry if you got no time to shop in the city, the airport got you covered even it’s midnight haha

Everything about this airport was wonderful. Japan has some of the best airport of anywhere I’ve ever traveled to. Sparkling clean, friendly staff, quick lines, many food options. The only thing that was interesting and good to know for anyone coming from the states, if you go too early, you can’t check in and wait. My husband loves getting to the airport extra early and buying books and a meal before flights. We were so confused when we couldn’t find our counter for our flight. After being directed all over the place we finally were told that our airline check in time was not available yet because it was too early. Japan airlines was not available for check in until 2.5 hours before our flight. Even using the kiosk was not permitted because of the time. So if you’re coming here, don’t worry about being late. Going through security literally took us 5 minutes because they time everything and are extremely efficient. You can even keep your shoes on!

Tons of shops located within the airport building. If your are looking for somewhere to eat within the building (before check in) there are tons and tons of restaurants to choose from. Probably the widest selection anywhere in the world. Tokyo seems to have the most restaurants per square metre of any place I've ever visited though so the wife selection at the airport is a city wide phenomenon. Airport is clean and big. Two airport hotels within the airport. Only somewhat negative point is that the check in queues are incredibly long. I've never seen such long queues at any airport in the world other than Lagos, Nigeria Airport. If you travelling economy I advise that you get to the airport very early.

It is a mid size airport with easy access to ground bus transportation that takes you to downtown, Disney land, or take train and transit to adjacent district. Airport has good restaurant option, shops to buy from grocery to electronics. Beautyful and clean place, really nice people. But because it is too close to Haneda Airport, it's not so great for sleeping, with planes passing over every five minutes; so much noise. For plane sighting and taking photos is the best!

Wonderful place. I was surprised that the public toilet is clean. We went there without any plan so we didnt have any food with us and when the kids got hungry we found a vending machine that sells potato chips and cookies.素晴らしい(^^)

Tons of shops located within the airport building. If your are looking for somewhere to eat within the building (before check in) there are tons and tons of restaurants to choose from. Probably the widest selection anywhere in the world. Tokyo seems to have the most restaurants per square metre of any place I've ever visited though so the wife selection at the airport is a city wide phenomenon. Airport is clean and big. Two airport hotels within the airport. Only somewhat negative point is that the check in queues are incredibly long. I've never seen such long queues at any airport in the world other than Lagos, Nigeria Airport. If you travelling economy I advise that you get to the airport very early.

It is a mid size airport with easy access to ground bus transportation that takes you to downtown, Disney land, or take train and transit to adjacent district. Airport has good restaurant option, shops to buy from grocery to electronics. One thing I like the most is that they even got fruit stand after passing security check point, for those fruit lovers don’t miss out

When I was a student in Tokyo Institute of Technology (also called as Tokodai, only until Oct 2024, then it is Institute of Science, Tokyo (I know weird)), I used to frequent here multiple time! The evenings are particularly pleasant and worth all the walk. The pain of research vanishes, the moment you see sunset here! A must visit place. Be careful and not feed the pigeons here!

For some reason I keep coming back to this park. It's a pleasant walk with a lot of birds to see. It's also a really nice idea to rent a row boat or peddle boat and spend an hour relaxing on the water. Don't miss the music playing hot chocolate making machine, it tastes great and is not too expensive.

There's at least 3 shrines here, which makes it stand out compared to other parks. Overall calm area, lots of benches and area to sit or play. Bicycles can be parked but not ridden inside. Boats can be rented, great for some exercises, also rest areas that are covered

This is my favorite place ever. Being on the boat here looking at the birds is my favorite thing to do. So calm and it never gets too crowded here. So serene and beautiful little place. They have a shrine and the park is not too big but very nicely taken care of. Great place to stop by to take a break from the city.

The park is right in front of the station and so very accessable. You can ride the boat for 800 yen/30 minutes. We went there for a walk and spent about 3 hours there including the boat ride. It is a very friendly neighborhood Park but I guess you don't really need to come here if you are a tourist.

One of Ota City’s gems for short escape with family in all season, especially if you live nearby. Boat is my kid’s favorite attraction here. In the past, visitors could also feed turtles, ducks, or fishes, but it’s not allowed anymore now (or probably we didn’t notice the warning before?). There’s playground surrounded by cherry blossom trees in the spring. If the day is too hot, we can go inside Senzokuike Children’s Center or Senzokuike Library which is located in the same area. Hot/cold beverage vending machine is available in the rest area. This park also has historical sites from Edo and Meiji period such as horse “Ikezuki” monument. I met some people do jogging by following track provided at some location as well.

Good place to watch airplanes’ takeoff / landing. Also good seeing Tokyo bay. The rest room is normally quite clean, but it’s mess at some weekend due to some people having BBQ party in the park.

Great view for the parking lot of Haneda airport. You can listen for the different flights taking off. Additionally the place is full of fishers targeting local fish. You can enjoy having good time there.

This park is right by the runways of Tokyo Haneda international airport. If wind direction is right, you can see landing or departing commercial airliners at close range. Designated parking has limited availability; you can still find spots on the near by streets , although the place is in the no parking area.

Actually it is not famous that should be on the tour guide book. But this place is worth visiting for seeing the planes flying. To get here, I would recommend on using the buses to get here from JR Omori or Keikyu Heiwajima stations. Try to find the word of the bus that shows 京浜島 so you could make it there. You can take the monorail to Showajima station but you have to walk more than 23 minutes.

The staff is very friendly and tries to be helpful, but please beware. The management rules are not credible and extremely rigid: THEY DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE the drop off point. We wanted to change the drop-off point from Tokyo Haneda airport to Tokyo Narita airport. We gave them more than 14 hours notice and offered to bring the car back 3 hours early, but their (not credible) argument was that "we need the car for the next customer ". So this little number cost us a 3.5 hour detour and 12,000 yen in public transport (taxi would have taken even longer and cost 300,000) and we struggled to make our plane in time.
