it feels unreal hiking up there to see the beautiful waterfalls. it's worth it. we wohld definitely walk up there again.

Can’t rate it less than five stars despite the number of tourists. The boat ride is recommended as the best way to see both the cascades and fjord, as well as the various hiking trails nearby to get different angles of the fjord and meet some friendly llamas on the way.

This Fjord is a must visit port, (if your booking a one off Norwegian cruise). Steep sides, waterfalls and awesome beauty, what more do you want? The town is small but has an awesome waterfall you can walk up alongside to the top of town. An all round great day is guaranteed.

What a breathtaking scenery! 😍 Every aspect is stunning like the picture created by photoshop. I went there by car and hiked to the top to see waterfall. I visited in June and the weather is great 👍

The most beautiful fjord in Norway. I recommend staying at the Hotell Utsikten Geiranger for some breath taking views of the fjord. I also recommend taking the drive from Balenstrand to Geiranger, which will take you through some unbelievable mountains with very narrow roads.

this fjord is an UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and its very beautiful. the only drawback about this place is that it is always crowded and there are always lots of cruises in the area. i would recommend you to stay in this beautiful town to actually enjoy the beauty of this fjord. And do not do the fjord cruise, instead do RIB ride which is more thrilling and exciting !!

Fabulously beautiful place! As an older person (68yo), with bad knees, the hiking was somewhat difficult for me, considering that NO PLACE in Norway is level ground :). It was worth the soreness to do the hiking that I did and to see the Fjord Center with the water rushing right next to it. I took so many photos because it was one photogenic scene after another

It is an enjoyable cruise and amazing view of the Geirqnger Fjord, Seven Sisters and surrounding mountains. We were told that it is remarkable that there is still a lot of snow in the mountains. It is very breezy and please wear warm clothing even its Spring time (visited on 14th May 2023, Sunday). Another Fjord that you should not miss it.

One of the nicest Fjords, it's worth starting the day early to take a breath of this beautiful country. I would recommend to come first with a cruise ship to get a first impression and then later on by car on a individual itinerary, to get a much deeper look into the history of Gairanger and the other Fjords. Keep in mind hat Norway is an expensive country but worth it to see once in a lifetime.

A place that everyone must see. Silence, beautiful nature, wonderful views. It cannot be described, you have to see it for yourself. I heartily recommend it, for a moment you can feel like a real Viking :)

Took the car ferry through the fjord as it passes by the waterfalls and farm buildings. Commentary was interesting enough but we weren't overly blown away by the waterfalls and the scenery was just nice. Geiranger had masses of cruise ship tourists and buses blocking the roads and getting near the viewpoints of the fjord was too difficult.

It was just wow! Even if it was rainy and cloudy and we didn't see much. We climbed some rocks close to the parking lot/souvenir shop and found some not melting ice and snow in a middle of a summer. Don't be lazy and take a short 5-10min climb! It's worth it!

It costs 25 euro per vehicle to drive in, you can also park car for free next to the starting point and walk/bike to the top. The view is breathtaking.

I highly recommend to go to this viewpoint. The view from there is breathtaking. The fjord, Gerainger village and the mountains look amazing from there. To reach to the top of the viewpoint you need to pay 270 nok as of August 2022.

The Dalsnibba Observatory is very beautiful. If you look at the strait from a high place, you can see a magnificent view of the peacefulness of a small village where people live and the mountains and seas spread out in front of it. If you travel to the fjord, don't miss it and it's a must-see place. When I went down from the observation place, it was midsummer, so the brakes overheated due to the steep zigzag downhill, so I had to stop the car once and rest. You will never be disappointed.

Great place to be! The road by itself is fun to drive. No special driving skills required. Based on weather conditions and season they open / close the street. They will charge you per car at the beginning. But worth to go there, enjoying the view and taking some photos.

Worth visiting at least one time. Obs! Entrance to Dalsnibba is not for free for vehicles (370 NOK for car and 150 NOK for motorcycle, per 06.2022) Nice viewpoint, you see Geirangerfjorden mountains and plateu. Approx. 20 min to take some photos and see around.

Worth the 300 kr. per car. Great view, souvenir shop is cheap for it being at a tourist location. Tip: take a pair of binoculars with to gaze at the mountains, road below and snow.

Expensive entry fee (300NOK for each car ) but worth it in my opinion due to the amazing view. The weather there was diverse so you may need to wait for the cloud to disperse to watch the view

Its again a must visit if you are in GEIRANGER area. The views from the top are magnificent and mind-blowing ( as usual ), This viewpoint is also free to enter but you have to pay the toll tax. highly recommended !!

You must drive through a toll road to access Dalsnibba. The road goes up a mountain with snow most of time. Then you reach Dalsnibba viewpoint at 1460 metres elevation. The view is simply amazing. When clouds retreat you see down the famous Geirangen fjord.

The Dalsnibba viewpoint is 1500 meter above the Gerianger Fjord. It gives you excellent and stunning views of the fjord and the serounding mountains. It is well worth the 40 min drive from Gerianger. Suitable to wheelchairs users.

Really enjoyed pur visit to the top of Dalsnibba. Also visibility was low, once in a while clouds opened and we could see the valley. There is a visitor center with toilets and beverages for purchase.

The Seven Sisters is an interesting feature but not an exceptional one in this most beautiful environment. They're part of this majestic fjord and, really, you find quite a few more impressive spots. I guess they are most spectacular at certain times of the year, maybe in May/June, when the snow is melting and thus feed the waterfalls with a greater volume of water.

Beautiful. Saw much more beautiful waterfalls than this in Norway. Glad we decided to take cruise instead of 14km hike.

The "Seven Sisters" are among the most photographed waterfalls in Geirangerfjorden. They are close to Knivsflå, the abandoned farm. No less than seven waterfalls descend into the fjord. They have an average fall of around 250 meters and are an impressive sight when the water levels are high. The water level is dependent on the snow thaw and precipitation and may affect whether it is possible to see all seven falls equally clearly. The falls are naturally more visible during the major snow melting period in May-July and can be best observed by taking a boat trip on Geirangerfjord. The legend has it that the "Seven Sisters" were all unmarried, and the waterfall on the other side of the fjord has been called "The Suitor" after several unsuccessful attempts to court the sisters.  If you want to see all the sisters and their suitor it is probably better to go when there is the greatest flow of water, such as when there is snowmelt in spring. Even if you do go when there are less sisters, don't worry - they are still spectacular.

This is one place you should stop when going from Gangtok to Lachung. You break journey to enjoy the waterfall. The best part is the gusty winds push the water spray to the spot where you stand. The Seven Sisters (Norwegian: De Syv Søstrene or Dei Sju Systrene, also known as Knivsflåfossen) is the 39th tallest waterfall in Norway. The waterfall consists of seven separate streams, and the tallest of the seven has a free fall that measures 250 metres (820 ft).

When you will approach towards Geiranger you will spot this on your Left and The Suitor on your right. The seven sisters waterfall is consist of 7 big and small water fall. And overlooking it there a waterfall shaped bottle. There is myth that the Suitor proposed seven sisters for marriage but they refused. We enjoyed the walking trail and the water fall. The light breeze and water vapor from the water fall was a good refreshing while walking up to the highest point of the water fall. This is an easy trail, and it's takes around 25 minutes to complete. You could view the bay from the highest point Don't miss it while you are in Geiranger.

Visited July 5, 2022. Beautiful area! Fairly easy hike. Mostly up/down stairs. But too many tourists when a cruise ship docks.

This is a metal and concrete trail along the river in Gerianger. The trail, altough not suited for wheelchairs is very easy to walk, especially if you go down from the museum to the fjord. There are many view points and the trail is well maintained. Going down will take about 30 min, while goong up is about an hour.

This Fjord in general is amazing. These falls were easy to get to. Would also recommend the boat to with Rib tours or something like that.

There's the camping, there's a waterfall, there's the National park Dalsnibba, there are many good things. Must stop and see. Also shopping and a grocery store. One more thing - you shoulda try drinking the local beer 🍺🍻.

Great views and lots to do and see for such a small place. Walking up towards the waterfall lots of small shops and some great chocolate. Walking up past the waterfall can get some great views and appreciate the power of the water as it thunders past. At the top museum and cafes to sit and wonder at the view over the Fjord. The see-through metal floor grating makes for a fun experience. Highly recommend to stop by and take a few photos.

Not a strenuous hike (though it's all uphill) from the port area, and you can take a break at the scenic church and cemetery, with a nice view of the fjord, along the way. There are public restrooms across the parking lot from the coffee-shop / gift shop at the top. There's a lot of water here, crashing over rocks and coursing through some narrow defiles. It appears that the falls are not entirely natural: in several places the water is pouring over concrete walls--possibly an old mill was sited around here? But the volume of water is real: it is certainly not anything you would want to fall into, and it keeps crashing over rocks on its way down to the fjord. On the road just a little way below the bridge is what looks like it may have been an old, very *small* mill on a side-creek, half dug into the side of the creek-bank, with a horizontal wheel below it. Traces of the mill-races are visible. It could be a fake, a replica, I suppose, though it's certainly not 'front and center' on the hotel grounds. It's picturesque, at any rate.

We were trying to get a ferry though during off peak months, they are only available Friday/Saturday. Instead, we drove. The roads were peaceful, views will obviously be remembered for life, and the village had an EV charger for $10 9-5pm (11w if I recall). Certainly recommended

Awesome view point with a man-made waterfall. There is a man-made viewing platform and a natural viewpoint just 0.1km above. Both offer fantastic sights. We also got a " bird's eye view" as well with a Crow sitting in a railing just by the viewing platform.

Easy to find, ca. 10 min from Geiranger. Great viewpoint, lets you see panorama of Geiranger, Geirangerfjord and Seven Sister waterfall. Glass platform where water flows down adds uniqueness of this place. The viewpont is well-marked. -small parking -no toilets Must see.

The view from the observatory was very beautiful. A magnificent, peaceful, cool view unfolds beneath the observatory, with another touch from the Dalsniva observatory. The observatory was narrow and long adjacent to the winding side of the road, so you can enjoy the view from various angles, and since it is a bit of a highland, you can enjoy the beautiful view while feeling the breeze blowing. The parking lot of the observatory was good because it had a relatively spacious parking space, was well-maintained, and there were some tables where family members and relatives could sit and talk. The situation in this spare parking lot was like many fjords. There was a small waterfall on the side of the road around the observatory, and it was amazing that a rainbow appeared around the waterfall. As I drove down from the observation spot, the view from another angle out of the car window was beautiful too, so I pulled over and admire it all the down.

Fabulous views. The ride up goes through nine hairpin turns and takes about a half hour. If you get car sick, may not be the thing for you. Once you are up to the view point you can see the end of the Forge and around the corned, the three sisters. There is a fall across from those fals cakes the suitor that supposedly was trying to get one of the three sisters hand in marriage. Lol There is a nice glass bottom stream that makes into a small fall itself and people throw money into it. Enjoy. Well worth the trip up.

Best fjord view i have ever witnessed. You just have to follow the path behind the view point. Hike around 10-15minutes and you will see more into the depth of the Fjord, 100% must see and do that small walk. Not even 1km far.

this place has a glass waterfall with a view of the fjord in the backdrop.. it looks great. it also has a small waterfall where one can enjoy !! but when we had gone, there was no view because of bad weather conditon (FOG)

Yes, the views here are spectacular but can get verrrrry crowded with tour buses. Parking is very limited. If you managed to get parking, your car will most likely get blocked in by the many tour buses and you'll have to wait for them to leave. There is a trail to the side, but I didn't venture too far in as I was on a time schedule.

Went here for an excursion as part of our Norway cruise. Fantastic is all I can say. The view was breathtaking and incredible.

Wonderful views of the Fjord from here. There are two view points one is .1 km where everyone goes and the other continues on for .3km. Both are must see. The parking is tad small. No restrooms here

absolutely stunning view i would definitely do this again my only problem is that when i arrived it was very crowded and very hard to take pictures and take in the view because of the people either blocking the view or being selfish and thinking that we should get out of their way for a photo overall tho very nice spot

Unlucky we visit there in rainy 🌧 day so we can't see much great view. Anyway we went to dinner in the resturant there , there are great tourist place for visit, you can buy surveniur things, walk around and take a picture. Food not that much expensive. Only 1 thing will be problems is hard to found parking place.

This is a very nice spot to stop, although the parking area only holds about 10-12 cars at a time. Most importantly, there are clean toilets that are free! We walked up from the village along a trail marked "Flydalsjuvet" although the last km or so was on the road. The trail was a bit muddy due to recent rains, but it took us about an hour each way as we are slow and took our time to take photos and eat wild raspberries!

Great place to stop, on the way up or down, easy parking and wonderful views of the mountains and village and lake below. Toilets and parking here too.

This is a viewpoint some 15 min drive from Gerianger towards Danislabba mountain. Great views of the Gerianger Fjord and the serounding.

5 stars, else what? It is not about how easy you can park, nor facilities. It is all about nature and sightseeing. Just keep viewing, and keep on further.

Very informative and well maintained museum. Beautiful slideshow. We enjoyed our visit a lot. There is also a coffee bar en little gift shop in this place. Afterwards we walked around outside to enjoy the majestic view.

Nice place to visit if arriving into port via cruise ship.. Plenty to see and read about the past. Loads of grass area to sit n chill. Coffee cafe, food too, toilet facilities, nik naks to buy, then to gear up to walk down to sea level via the bridges and steps. Only negative was a video playing, basically saying they hate the cruise ships and all they stand for, so quickly left saying I'd arrived via paddleboard 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Very informative and interactive exhibit. We’d been wondering our whole week in Norway how the fjords were really formed and the exhibit had an excellent video to explain the process. Also gave good insight to what life was like in Geiranger long back with replicas of the houses and shops that you could enter! Nice cafe and gift shop, plus EV charging capabilities in the parking lot.

Geiranger was the best visit on our cruise. Do the hop-on-hop-off bus and walk down from the farm.

Walking up from downtown Alesund to Norsk Fjordsenter is the most wonderful travel experiences we did in Geiranger. All of us stay speechless with such a breath taking view of the Fjord. The walk is not long and relatively easy. Strongly recommend to spend 1/4 day here!

Very pretty little world heritage visitor centre. The museum was small and needed a little more information/ interaction. The location however was stunning. Would recommend a visit however ticket were rather expensive. The cafe prices were also too high and everything was too expensive to buy anything from the souvenir shop. Definitely worth a visit though.

The location in which the Church is situated is just amazing. It is like in the middle of a hill. Not so high but not so low. You also get to see an amazing view of the surrounding landscape from the front of the Church.

Perhaps not the most exciting hike (in comparison to others in the surrounding area, i.e. Romsdalseggen), but I still recommend it if you are staying in Geiranger. I hiked to Skagehola and took the RIB back to Geiranger. It's about a 6.5km hike from Geiranger sentrum to Skagehola. The one-way hike took me approximately 2h30min in a moderate to fast pace. The RIB on the way back is part of the fjord tour, so I enjoyed the end bit of the tour commentary. It is more common to take to RIB to Skagehola and then hike back to Geiranger, but both ways are doable.

We did the hike starting from Skagehola (drop off by boat) and then hike to Skageflå, and from there walk back to Geiranger. We had trouble assessing whether the hike was suitable for my mother (68, in good shape). So here is a thorough summary to help others. We hiked begin August; the weather was cloudy with a bit of drizzle now and then. Our group consisted of 4 adults (late 30s and late 60s), and 2 children (4 and 7). We live in Switzerland so have a good amount of hiking experience. My mother has an instability in her foot but is sporty. The first part of the hike is quite steep, but there are steps of sorts and often a railing. It took us about 30mins to get to Skageflå. From there is is another 250m climbing. Decently steep and often with a steep cliff on your left. At those places there is a chain to hold on to. These places can be very dangerous if you do not have hiking experience or good equipment. Altogether the hike took us 5h45m till Geiranger port. The road down has a bunch of stones, is not terrible when you are younger but definitely not easy if you are in your late 60s. I think if it were just the younger adults it would have taken probably an hour less. There are also some decently muddy parts. Altogether we loved it, despite it being quite challenging for the older generation. Highly recommended to do this hike of you are in good shape and have hiking experience and good shoes. Pretty hard but not too long hike up from the tour boat. A bit scary, especially when wet. Hiking poles would probably be a good idea. The views along the way and from the top are amazing. If you don't dawdle too much, and depending on the schedule, you can make it up and down getting dropped off and picked up on back to back tour boats. I recommend trying to get an estimate from the crew when you're on the way to getting dropped off.

Amazing view, the hiking was hard (more than I expected). We started from the city and it was a lot of uphill walking. It took us around 5 hours to go and come back. But still highly recommended :)

Very dangerous place for hiking. We didn't know about that and nearly died during the hiking. But if you are professionals in mountain hiking or even climbing, that place is really beautiful. Nice point to look at the famous waterfall and enjoy the atmosphere of fresh air. But be careful please, some moments path is going between high mountain and precipice.

Very nicely located with panoramic view. A steep hike goes from the Fjord to Skagefla. However, we had a baby with us and we hat to return half way. The way is not recommend if you have a baby or small kids with you.

This place has beautiful vistas of the fjord below. This lovely quiet old farm is situated on a ledge (they used to tie children up so they wouldn't fall off ) and has a splendid view of the falls on the other side (among which the famous Seven Sisters). Most people reach this place by boat via the Skagehola pier, we preferred hiking here from Homlung which gives you many more great views of the fjord and of Geiranger.

I would 100% recommend the cask draw experience - delicious 18 year old cask strength whiskey in a lovely aromatic environment. Katie was a charming and informative host. The splosh and gurgle of the distillers dog was a delight. I don't think I'd recommend the tour however. Our guide was great but it all felt a bit rushed and there wasn't enough time to linger and it all felt a bit constructed. It didn't feel that deep or engaging despite our guides best efforts. The whiskey tasting section was nice but the selection felt geared towards shifting product rather than a really distinctive tasting experience. I'm a whiskey enthusiast not an expert but there wasn't enough contrast between the whiskeys being tasted. You could buy the whiskeys as you exit through the gift shop though... You do get a good couple of drams for your ticket fee so there's good value in that. On balance though I'd recommend you get the cask draw for €10, buy a drink in the bar and go to the Guinness storehouse for the afternoon and enjoy the sunset in the gravity bar.

Great experience. Lots of people but really well managed with small group guided tours provided. Hats off to you guys at Jameson’s. Our guide Leah S was really brilliant; informative and entertaining as well as friendly and polite, making it a really worth while visit, highly recommended. Not too hard sell, just really interesting and enjoyable experience. Lots of credit was given to all the workers over the years who have made this such a success as reflected in the company logo of a man (labourer) with a barrel on his back. This is a ‘must see’ experience.

Made reservations for a Monday evening Cocktail Class. Loved the distillery and bar area - great vibes and decor! Enjoyed our cocktail class and even had a few more at the bar area after. We did visit the gift shop and were hoping/expecting it to have many more items, but it was quite small. Would recommend signing up for one of their activities if you appreciate whsikey!

We did the Jameson Distillery Tour and had an amazing experience. It lasted about an hour, and our tour guide Sean was hilarious! He went through the entire distilling process in detail and made it interesting. And the best part - WHISKEY! I highly recommend the orange "water of life" 😉 I don't want to spoil the tour so check it out for yourself, it's worth it! And something you absolutely need to see when visiting Dublin

This was a quick walk from center city & also the Guinness Storehouse, and is in a quaint area. We did the 45 minute tour with Alex and she was INCREDIBLE! So fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. The bar is also a great, warm spot to relax at the end. We would definitely come back.

Visited in 2022. This is a must if you are a fan of Jameson. The atmosphere is great as soon as you walk in. Cool bar right when you enter where they have very good cocktails. Their gift shop is great, lots of cool items that will make great gifts. They even have a few bottles that are exclusive to the Guinness store that you can personalize with your name on the label. We did the tour and the guide was amazing! He was so good at keeping everyone engaged and the content of the tour was really entertaining. We paid extra to taste from a cask that they tap open in front of you. This is something they do not bottle for sale. Overall, highly recommend it! P.S. I heard from a local in Dublin that he had gone on a tour awhile back and it wasn’t good but they had updated the tour a few years back and he had gone back as well and was much better. So if you had gone awhile ago and was disappointed, try again! Book ahead of time!

I did the Standard Bow Street Experience your which includes a drink on arrival to take with you on the 40+ min tour, learning about the history of Jameson, how the famous whiskey is made and whiskey taste testing. Molly our guide was very nice and informative. Really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

The Bow St Experience tour is well organized. Tour guide was nice, tried to engage as much as she could and entertained us. Comparative tasting was good and fun. At the end you get a voucher for a drink. I would 100% recommend ginger&lime cocktail even if you prefer neat whiskey. What made this a 5 star review was a cask draw experience in their live maturation warehouse in the building. We had an absolute craic there with tour guide Niall (kudos!) who just shinned with the love for whiskey. He was very insightful with tonnes of knowledge. Niall made cask draw experience worth every penny.

Not a fan of whiskey until today! The explanation how to taste made so much sense that you can actually really learn to enjoy it. Our tour guide was funny and explained everything very passionately. In total 4 drinks , one in the ticket you can trade in the begging or end of the tour and 3 more samples in the end of the tour. Used my Go City pass to visit this museum.

I visited 3 whiskey distilleries in Ireland and Jameson had the best experience of any of them, and was one of my favorite things we did in Dublin. The tour was very well put together (and Nial was an excellent guide). The add on cask draw was also cool. The bar there was also really good. In addition to their normal cocktail menu they had a whole old fashioned menu, we tried 3 of them and all were delicious. I would also recommend the bottle your own black barrel option to any whiskey fans.

We did the standard tour and cask draw add-on here and had a great time. Our tour guide, Erin, made it though. She was super awesome and kept us all laughing throughout. I really enjoyed at the beginning she had us all say where we were from and kept engaging with all of us so it didn’t feel like a normal run of the mill tour. While you don’t see the inner working of a factory, I felt like I did learn a lot. The cask draw was totally worth it in my opinion. They bring you inside a room that is full of whisky barrels and pull it straight up from one of them for you to try. The taste was so different than the bottled versions with it being extra burning and warmed your chest, very cool.

Fantastic tour and experience for any Whisky fan or even those new to the drink - the whole experience was very enjoyable and our tour guide was welcoming, knowledgable and very friendly. You are out into timed groups and have a history lesson of Guinness, details on the manufacturing process and then finally a Jameson taste off vs Scottish Whisky and American Bourbon. Once finishing you are free to go to the bar and redeem your drink which are great! We definitely spent a while at the bar trying different drinks on the menu (would highly recommend the Irish coffee) All in all a very worthwhile experience - options are also available should you wish to do extended tours or private events (which looking back would’ve been great to do the cask tasting session)

We loved this tour. It was interactive, engaging and informative. We did the Guinness tour as well and found that one to be a bit of a money grab as it was primarily self guided. I’m not a whiskey drinker and enjoyed this tour anyway. A lot of pride from the folks who are employed by Jameson. You can tell it’s a well managed organization and they must treat their people well as everyone was passionate about their job and pleasant to ask questions to. The tour and tasting were well thought out. It exceeded my expectations. I would do it again next time I return.

Awesome informative tour. Our guide was amazing, answered all our questions and showed the history of some of the best Irish whiskeys in the world. Wonderful samples at the end. Got some bottles you can't get anywhere else!

Our tour guide was amazing. She gave us the history of Jameson in a fun and informative way. It was great to hear the Bourbon barrels of Kentucky contribute to the flavor of certain Jameson whiskeys. We fell in love with this place and enjoyed their new Orange Whiskey. My GF who was not a whiskey drinker now makes Ginger and Jameson a regular on her order menu. We purchased some personalized whiskey for my daughter and now son-in-law along with making our own bottle of whiskey was a great experience. 5 stars all day and a must when you visit Dublin

you must come here and do a tour if you're in dublin! we had an amazing tour guide (ronnie) who made the experience so good. the history and process of making the whiskey was absolutely fascinating and we loved every minute. you get to sample 3 whiskies before getting your grog (free drink) at the end of your visit. The gift shop is big with a lot of items such as hoodies, t-shirts, hats, posters etc. cant recommend enough!

Had the most amazing time at the Jameson cocktail making class! Loved the atmosphere, the mixologist Marco was fabulous - friendly, funny and knowledgeable! We learnt some really cool tips and tricks and of course enjoyed the whiskey! Highly recommended…

My boyfriend and I went to Jameson's yesterday and we had a great great time, we're home visiting family and to celebrate St Paddy's day.... the staff were really great, we got to chat properly with Margaret, in the gift shop, really knowledgeable and friendly and of course our guide Leah was just fantastic.... another lovely girl in the gift shop who helped us with tax back, as he's from America, sorry I didn't get her name, we started with delicious old fashioned cocktails, 12€ each, then we did the 45 minute tour, we booked online 30€ each, it included a complimentary drink, choice of Jameson neat, or with lemonade or with ginger ale. You were able to bring this on the tour instead of rushing...... the tour itself included tasting of Jameson distillery blend, Crested Jameson and Black Barrel Jameson, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back and try one of the other tours another day..... well done Jameson x

Great experience, the basic tasting is a great deal, includes the post experience drink and a nice variety of cocktail options at the end. We went in the slow season, during winter and it was really quiet which made it even better. Took our time and only had a handful of people in our tasting. Loved learning the history, it's not as extravagant as say Guinness, but it's much more educational and interesting.

We came here and did the Bow St Experience followed by the Cask Draw which were two incredible experiences. The tour was fantastic (Alex was our tour guide and she was incredibly fun and informative) and the Cask Draw was such a unique experience where we got to try a 21 year whiskey straight from the barrel. Niall talked us through that process and gave us so much information about the whiskey. The experience is immeasurably better than the Guinness Storehouse and is very interactive, a must visit in Dublin!

Cocktail making class! Great if not the best option to choose from the different activities. Worth booking in advance as there’s not always availability. Good fun with great atmosphere! Reduced groups of max 16 people, the activity allows you to make 2 cocktails from scratch with guidance from an expert cocktail maker. Starting with a whiskey tasting the class followed with the details, ingredients and instructions of two different cocktails (changing depending on the season) and ends the session with a third drink on a private area of the distillery prepared by the instructor. Great option for any occasion from a family event to a friend gathering. Price per person at the time of visit was 60€. Further details can be found on the official site website.

The Geirangerfjord is certainly a very beautiful spot, however, the beauty of the place was at the time of my visit spoiled by the smelly exhaust fumes of two giant cruise ships that were parked in the fjord. As the mountains bordering the fjord are high and their slopes steep, the exhaust fumes stayed inside the fjord.

Our cruise ship had a stop in Geiranger and we booked a bus tour online in advance to the viewpoint and the eagle bend. The bus went down 5min right after departure, then comes lots of unhappy moments. - We got stuck on the bus for half an hour without any notice of what happened to the bus - After half an hour all the passengers left the bus but nobody told us what to do in the next but just walk back to the tourist information. We had a baby with us but no extra help with going back - We waited in the queue for the next 30min in the tourist center and was told at the end that the money will be refunded automatically to our credit card since we booked the tour online. Why should I have waited there for 30min carrying a baby but didn't need to do anything... - We asked if an alternative bus will be provided to have the tour in a later time, and was told "not possible to arrange another bus. And unfortunately all our tours are fully booked for today" - Spend almost 2 hours for nothing. Was quite looking forward to the cruise stop at Geiranger but the day was totally ruined by all of these happened. Without any compensation. So there is no emergency action at all by this tour provider and apparently they are not ready to take any responsibility due to their negligence. This is our 3rd trip to Norway but worst experience ever.

Clean natural beauty. Except for the cruise and car pollution. Geiranger itself a bit crowded. Stay away. Take the Hellesylt- Geiranger ferry. Walk or drive up the hills there you’ll have the most amazing view.

Very disappointing to have a wrong information about bus. I've been stucked in Helleysild with no bus becaus of them. The lady was really bored in giving information, in the end she told me a wrong timetable. It's not accettable to loose one day of travel and an hotel reservation because the poorness of comunication skills and poor motivation of the lady at the desk (19 august 2018 afternoon).

Tourist Information office and excursion company offering different type of excursion along the fjord. Despite the good organization of the excursion the Tourist Info office personnel is unpleasant and not well informed.

it feels unreal hiking up there to see the beautiful waterfalls. it's worth it. we wohld definitely walk up there again.

Can’t rate it less than five stars despite the number of tourists. The boat ride is recommended as the best way to see both the cascades and fjord, as well as the various hiking trails nearby to get different angles of the fjord and meet some friendly llamas on the way.

This Fjord is a must visit port, (if your booking a one off Norwegian cruise). Steep sides, waterfalls and awesome beauty, what more do you want? The town is small but has an awesome waterfall you can walk up alongside to the top of town. An all round great day is guaranteed.

The most beautiful fjord in Norway. I recommend staying at the Hotell Utsikten Geiranger for some breath taking views of the fjord. I also recommend taking the drive from Balenstrand to Geiranger, which will take you through some unbelievable mountains with very narrow roads.

Wonder of Nature. Amazing. No words can describe beauty of this place. Just heaven on Earth.

this fjord is an UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and its very beautiful. the only drawback about this place is that it is always crowded and there are always lots of cruises in the area. i would recommend you to stay in this beautiful town to actually enjoy the beauty of this fjord. And do not do the fjord cruise, instead do RIB ride which is more thrilling and exciting !!

Fabulously beautiful place! As an older person (68yo), with bad knees, the hiking was somewhat difficult for me, considering that NO PLACE in Norway is level ground :). It was worth the soreness to do the hiking that I did and to see the Fjord Center with the water rushing right next to it. I took so many photos because it was one photogenic scene after another

It is an enjoyable cruise and amazing view of the Geirqnger Fjord, Seven Sisters and surrounding mountains. We were told that it is remarkable that there is still a lot of snow in the mountains. It is very breezy and please wear warm clothing even its Spring time (visited on 14th May 2023, Sunday). Another Fjord that you should not miss it.

One of the nicest Fjords, it's worth starting the day early to take a breath of this beautiful country. I would recommend to come first with a cruise ship to get a first impression and then later on by car on a individual itinerary, to get a much deeper look into the history of Gairanger and the other Fjords. Keep in mind hat Norway is an expensive country but worth it to see once in a lifetime.

A place that everyone must see. Silence, beautiful nature, wonderful views. It cannot be described, you have to see it for yourself. I heartily recommend it, for a moment you can feel like a real Viking :)

Took the car ferry through the fjord as it passes by the waterfalls and farm buildings. Commentary was interesting enough but we weren't overly blown away by the waterfalls and the scenery was just nice. Geiranger had masses of cruise ship tourists and buses blocking the roads and getting near the viewpoints of the fjord was too difficult.

The location in which the Church is situated is just amazing. It is like in the middle of a hill. Not so high but not so low. You also get to see an amazing view of the surrounding landscape from the front of the Church.

We enjoyed the walking trail and the water fall. The light breeze and water vapor from the water fall was a good refreshing while walking up to the highest point of the water fall. This is an easy trail, and it's takes around 25 minutes to complete. You could view the bay from the highest point Don't miss it while you are in Geiranger.

Visited July 5, 2022. Beautiful area! Fairly easy hike. Mostly up/down stairs. But too many tourists when a cruise ship docks.

This is a metal and concrete trail along the river in Gerianger. The trail, altough not suited for wheelchairs is very easy to walk, especially if you go down from the museum to the fjord. There are many view points and the trail is well maintained. Going down will take about 30 min, while goong up is about an hour.

This Fjord in general is amazing. These falls were easy to get to. Would also recommend the boat to with Rib tours or something like that.

There's the camping, there's a waterfall, there's the National park Dalsnibba, there are many good things. Must stop and see. Also shopping and a grocery store. One more thing - you shoulda try drinking the local beer 🍺🍻.

Great views and lots to do and see for such a small place. Walking up towards the waterfall lots of small shops and some great chocolate. Walking up past the waterfall can get some great views and appreciate the power of the water as it thunders past. At the top museum and cafes to sit and wonder at the view over the Fjord. Well worth a visit

The see-through metal floor grating makes for a fun experience. Highly recommend to stop by and take a few photos.

Not a strenuous hike (though it's all uphill) from the port area, and you can take a break at the scenic church and cemetery, with a nice view of the fjord, along the way. There are public restrooms across the parking lot from the coffee-shop / gift shop at the top. There's a lot of water here, crashing over rocks and coursing through some narrow defiles. It appears that the falls are not entirely natural: in several places the water is pouring over concrete walls--possibly an old mill was sited around here? But the volume of water is real: it is certainly not anything you would want to fall into, and it keeps crashing over rocks on its way down to the fjord. On the road just a little way below the bridge is what looks like it may have been an old, very *small* mill on a side-creek, half dug into the side of the creek-bank, with a horizontal wheel below it. Traces of the mill-races are visible. It could be a fake, a replica, I suppose, though it's certainly not 'front and center' on the hotel grounds. It's picturesque, at any rate.
