Honestly feels a little bit of a scam IMO. Starts off at 20€ per person, but then add on 14€ for the actual row boat / grotto part (not widely advertised) plus pressure to tip, it easily ended up being 80€ for two of us. The actual time spent in the grotto is less than 5mins. Compared to similar experiences in Malta for example, not worth the money for us I'm afraid.

5 stars for the view, 1 star for the experience. On average 3 stars. As many of you can see from the reviews, each of us paid 15 for the entrance, and a “tip” is required to the boat guy, around 5 euros. When we were in the cave, we asked him whether we could swim in the cave, and he openly said “pay me 20 and I’ll stay for a few mins longer”. My friend BRIBED him and jumped into the water, but I hesitated since there was no fresh water nearby and I really hate being salty. The cave itself is breathtaking, but the whole experience was very bizarre. I heard from some friends who traveled to the cave many years ago that there was not much restriction and way less commercialized. Wonder what happened to the regulations. I’m wondering if a private boat would be better? I’d like to go back to the grotto one day again, but definitely not what I’ve experienced.

We bought a boat tour around the island in the morning. From the Capri's port we went directly to the blue grotto - we were there around 10.15 a.m. and there was already lots of people waiting on the stairs and also on the boats. We got inside quite quick. The entrance was 14 Euro - quite a lot for a 5 minute ride... We changed the boat for small boats and got inside. The man who was in the small boat was very nervous and not nice. But I am still happy that we went there! It was amazing inside!

The most mesmerizing moment!....the piloys of each boat sing opera when about to enter, which has to be done carefully because of the tides, you could bang your head entering the cave.....the most astonishing color shines everywhere once in the grotto, leaving you with a truly marvelous feeling, its a blue I have never seen before! Beautiful!

Very bad experience; I don't wish it on anyone. We arrived in front of the grotto and were to be picked up in the small boats of 4-5 people. My wife got into the boat first. She placed her phone to our sun 13-year-old who was about to board the boat. When the child wanted to get into the boat; the boatman told him to let me hold the phone. The child climbed into the boat and when I followed to get down in the small boat; the boatman told me to give him the phone for him to hold. I gave him the phone and I didn't even have time to get off because he threw the phone behind him into the water. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I felt like jumping into the water after my wife phone; but my phone was in my pocket and I didn't want to risk destroying my phone myself. apart from apologies and ,, i'm sorry for your fon sir..... Nothing. Everything continued according to the itinerary as if nothing had happened. The boatman did us the honor of entering the grotto (approx. 18 euros for all 3), but that didn't warm me up at all. I wanted to jump into the water after the phone but he told me that the water is 30m deep and I have no chance to find the phone. Now think about it too. All reservations; all contacts; everything was in that phone. We were going to stay in Italy for another 10 days and travel to Pompeii; Rome, Pisa..... That boatman destroy our holiday After returning to the port of Capri; I went to a bar; then I went to the Carabinieri to make a complaint about this incident. Carabinieri were grade 10; they called an English translator and in less than 20 minutes the boatman who had thrown (dropped) our phone into the water also appeared. I say this because I do not want to accuse him unjustly; but I have the sense of an honest man and in this boatman I felt only a weak actor who interprets this line without any empathy "I'm sorry for your telephone sir" I told him that I don't understand why he wanted to turn with the phone to the right; when I was in front of him and he had to hand me the phone. He replied that he wanted to give it to my wife who was in the front of the boat. I don't say anything anymore; but I'm very interested if anyone has had the same situation in the past, because that explains a lot then.

It is a stunning location and a must-see on Capri. When the boat enters and exits with the tide going up and down the narrow cave tunnels, it can be a little scary. Awesome experience. I recommend visiting this place.

Tourist trap! Don’t get me wrong, the cave is absolutely stunning and beautiful but the wait is very long, the price is very expensive, you are bullied for tips, the trip inside the cave itself is about 5mins and you’re put on small boats with other tourists.

Blue cave, Capri. Mentioned it as „one of the most gamous caves in the world“ (Marco Polo Guide), i had really expected to see something quiet impressive. But the visit at the blue cave was a waste of energy, money and time. This has - most of all- to do with the fact, that our guide was a rip off and very unsymphatic. First: he put all attention on the other three girls on the boat and was very careless about my girlfriend, sat almost on her hand and if she would not have cared, she’ d probably gotten a row stick in her face, second: we paid the 14 Euro entrance and the first thing the unfriendly rowing man made clear: this is exclusive service. I said: but i pay allready 14 for the entrance, wich „service“ are you talking about? „Oh, this is for my towing and singing“ he said. So to be honest: this yelling around and singing one minute later in the cave was totally absurd, not fitting and in my eyes, disturbing enorousely. Especially cause the other „capitains“ also sang around in the same cave, misstonic, loud, rough, disturbing. Was i asked for if i‘d wish that? No. Not at all. At the end, even the cave on itself is pretty nice, but really nothing special - if you travel around a little bit and have seen other really impressive things. And: its short. You enter - you leave. Its a really short thing, not a long channel you pass along and things to be discovered. Its just nice to see the light coming from down outside into the cave under water - thats it. Soooo.... For what exactly did we pay 14 bugs per Person for entrance? This is a rip off, since there is not even a light installation or something that gives me a feeling of a value on the other side (management)....its just costs for a bit nature. The guy was a disaster. Unfriendly, loud, rough, not even singing nice, horrible yelling around in a cave, that would be 100 times nicer without that „service“. I would not recommend that tour to anybody, but: i reccomend the tour to the other side of the island, where you see the beautiful cliffs and nature wich is totally worth time and money, id say: even a must seen on a trip to capri. The same i can say about the cozy chairlift, that goes from Anacapri to Monte Salaro. It was a spectacular view up there and all in one, it was a great round trip of half of a day.

It is beautiful for a few minutes. However be prepared to pay 15€ per person to get in. And the ticket I got it’s showing €4 😂😂😂, so that’s mean you will pay €11 on top. They will also ask for tips. It is sad sometime people use the attractions area to rip off tourists.

Stunning location, but a total rip-off and tourist trap. Tickets cost €18 per person, but the physical ticket they give you has €6 written on it… Not to mention the fact that some of the boat drivers except a generous tip for a 5 minute paddle round a cave. Bear in mind that in Europe, tipping is absolutely optional, and is generally reserved for exceptional service! The two stars are for the gorgeous grotto, and for our boat driver, who unlike others, did not demand a specific amount from us. Also, I would suggest visiting before 9:30am, otherwise be prepared for a long wait in the sun.

It’s beautiful BUT it’s a bit of a scam in terms of costs… 23 euros per person just to get there in a bigger boat… then 18 euros per person cave entrance fee THEN you also need to pay the poor rower who takes you into the cave. So you end up paying almost 200 Euros for a family of 4!!! And given the experience of the cave lasts 5-10 minutes it’s an expensive activity!

We almost didn't get to go. It was windy and getting windier. We were on the last boat for that day. It was only a little after noon. You can catch a boat, several companies there, from the harbor in Capri. When our boat full of passengers was done, the boatmen began packing back towards town. We ferried some of them back to the marina. See photos for that post of the adventure!!! I'm so glad we took the chance and went for that boat ride. It was INCREDIBLE! The ride, the waves, the boatmen willing to head into the Grotto. The senior boatman guiding and directing each small boat based on the wave action. It was a bucket list item. The adventure, beauty, and being serenaded by the boatmen in the giant cave was so fabulous!!!! If you're there, GO!!!!

My daughter and I absolutely loved visiting the Blue Grotto in Capri Italy. You can catch a boat from the Capri harbor. The boat doesn't just take you to the grotto but for a nice trip around the islands before getting to the Blue Grotto. It's a great way to see everything from the water.

We came here by boat on our tour. The views are amazing inside the grotto. The boat workers sang as well. I think it's a nice experience. The grotto is run independently by a small group and prices vary based on how quick you want to get into the grotto. Our skipper negotiated the "tip" on our behalf so I would suggest the same.

If you go to Italy, make sure you stop at Capri/AnaCapri. The Blue Grotto experience was short but a good experience. The wait times were really long, but it was worth it. Also note that things are typically more expensive on the island.

It's a tourist trap. Price completely disproportionate to the activity. 23€ for the boat to take you to and back the grotto (5 minute). Entrance price is completely random, you can see prices in the ticket being overwritten with a pen (we paid 12 that day, the ticket said 11) plus you need to tip the rower, who is insistently and disrespectfully pushing you to pay him.

Amazing panoramic view form the top of the highest mountain on the island of Capri. Unfortunately when we got on top all the bars were closed so we were quite thirsty … it would be great if at least an vending machine would exist on top.

If you go to Anacapri you definitely should visit Monte Solaro! Breathing views! We get a chairlift to go up and after that to return down. Definitely worth it.

Worth the ride up! You can hike up also, however the trail is mostly underneath the chair lift and not worth it imo.

Great trip up to Monte Solaro via the cable car. So peaceful after the hustle and bustle of Capri and Anacapri. We didn't visit the cafe at the top but it looked nice. There were lovely distant views from the top, viewing platform and walks.

Highlight of the trip, fun chairlift ride with storage available at the bottom. Amazing views at all time and a small cafe at the top.

A must if you go to Capri island! You can go by walk or by the chairlift, but I strongly recommend the chairlift :)

Great views but a lot of tourists even in the beginning of the season. Took us almost 3 hours from the Capri porte to the summit and quite expensive, cheapest way up will cost about 23 euros per person. As for the location itself it's astounding and gives you panoramic view of the island and bay of Naples with a great view of Vizuvio volcano above Pompei

Wonderful views of Capri. Chair lift is fun and only takes 8 mins or so. Reasonably priced.

Highly recommend place. If you’re staying at Capri, you can take a bus to Anacapri. It costed us 4.2 euro for round trip ticket. The frequency was every 10 minutes. Then you stop at the center of Anacapri and go to the chairlift by foot for few meters. The view and the tranquility during the way up is priceless.

Good view but I mean the struggle of getting there...I would not go there again. Very steep stairs and like lots of them. Not for unfit people unless they have all day. Inside not much to see. 10euro entry. There is a toilet inside. There is a cafeteria inside. Outside restaurant and gift shops and more pointless shops like chocolate place and sandals place.there is a 3200 years old sphinx to see. Well the back of it as it is overseeing the bay. Took me 15 min to see.

The views from this place are unbelievable. We had a snack and some wine from the cafe there. Gorgeous views. The gardens are spectacular. If you happen to be a birder, the bird species there were a lovely surprise. We stayed up there several hours. It was a great find!!

It costs 10 euro. The garden is beautiful but nothing exceptional. You can have a spectacular view over the Island without entering the garden. It doesn't really worth going in.

The villa wasn't very exciting, but the gardens outside were stunning! The view from where the sphinx sits is absolutely fantastic! You can see a lot of the gardens from the terrace below the museum so you may not want to spend €10 to get in

Axel Munthe, who built this villa, was not only a doctor but also a bestseller author with exquisite taste and of an admirable intellectual independence. You pay 10 Euro to visit the villa and you get incredible value: a beautiful house and architecture, a garden as a small paradise, excellent antiquities, and above all a view of the Golf of Naples you may never forget and cherish forever. Its beauty will stay in my heart forever.

Bit expensive for what it is but great views Come here super early. Out of season and when we left pensioners stormed it like they did with the beaches of Normandy. Then you might not even go.

For me it was an amazing experience as I really wished to visit the Villa after reading the book some time ago. I have walked on the stairs for about 30 minutes, it's a little bit challanging but with some nice views along the way. The garden is amazing and the view is worth all the journey in the end. It was a rainy day so not so many tourists there, which for me was also a plus.

This place has its own vibe with old furniture and equipment from time, when Axel Munthe lived there. Also garden is worth to see - long arcade with creeping plants and best view on harbour and see at the end of it... If you want only make picture with nice view - don't pay 10€ entrance fee to vila and only continue your stroll trough pavement beside entry to villa with many beautiful shops to the rim of cliff...

The house does not rise to the same level as other beautiful places in Capri, but it offers a superb panorama over the Marina Grande in Capri. You can't kiss the sight offered. I warmly recommend it for an unforgettable view. The entrance price is 10 euros per person, quite a lot for what it offers inside, the garden is beautiful but not wow, but the view is incredible

Great history behind the Villa but equally stunning views from above over Capri really worth while visiting

Beautiful place with a beautiful story behind its construction by Axel Munthe. It costed us 10 euro per person to enter the house and travel around its gardens. You can enjoy the stunning view without paying for visiting the house itself and just walk around it.

Lovely baroque style church, built in 1719. It’s well worth a visit, to view the beautiful interior with its wonderful majolica floor. There’s a spiral staircase, which leads to a balcony where the floor can be viewed from above 😃😎

Gorgeous little church, very much a hidden gem- we didn’t know it was there til we stumbled apon it. Definitely worth the €2 entry fee, give it a visit if you’re able.

Off the beaten path but worth a look for the ceramic floor alone! €2 entry and you can look around yourself plus go upstairs to get better photos of the stunning floor. The shopping nearby is for locals, so it's a quiet and enchanting area.

UNIQUE work of Art on the FLOOR During our tour of Capri Island, I visited the San Michele Arcangelo Church on 3rd May 2019. This church built in the 18th century is located at Piazza San Nicola. The church had been built to an octagonal plan covered by a dome. The high altar stands beyond the Octagonal area and is of marble along with two figures of angels in white. The side altars are in 18th century wood. The statue of San Michele Angelico stands on a side on a wooden altar. Many beautiful paintings adorn the side walls. The octagonal floor, however, is the main attraction. Visitors can only walk on the wooden pavement on the periphery of the octagonal floor. It is an earthenware floor, decorated, glazed and fired to have a ceramic-like finish called 'majolica'. On this Majolica floor are figures of Adam and Eve, exiled from Paradise, a figure of an angel with a sword emphasizing the exile. In this mosaic of figures are plants and animals including the mythical unicorn. The figures are impressively attractive and beautiful, even though some are perhaps artist's fantasies. I was glad that the floor is well cared for to preserve its indescribable beauty and cultural heritage.

We went to the church (April 2023) although Google said it was temporarily closed, and found it was open. You pay 2€ entrance fee, but that is not so much, and it is certainly quite unique to see a tiled floor like that in a church... Worth it, we would say!

It's a pretty nice walk and a good alternative to taking the bus if you want to go from Anacapri to the port. It took us 35 minutes from the centre of Capri to the ferry and it was really not that difficult, even at 22 weeks pregnant. Some of the previous comments made me expect much worse ;)

OMG one of the hardest and impressive adventure! Every should do this once in a life😄 We had spectacular view of Capri island while getting downstairs😍 We started at the Villa San Michelle in Anacapri and ended in port. There are 921 stairs. I just want to warn people who has the problems with knees, don’t go down stairs.

Beautiful route between Capri and Anacapri. Recommended if you like walking and/or hiking, and are willing to spend the time. Great for making pictures, and usually very quite.

Great way to discover Capri. The way is exhausting but the view is amazing.

Definitely, don't climb it unless you are very athletic. I took it on the way down from Axel Munthe's house and my quads and calves hurt for days! I hear there are about 800 steps. It felt like 1000! The reward is the stunning views. I wish it were better marked, though.

Lots of stairs here. But it is definitely the worst to climb on the top. The picturesque view will be your great reward for long and exhausted climbing. You may see the scenic view of the Capri port and city from here. Can recommend it to you.

This is a tough climb worth doing if you're wearing comfortable shoes and clothing. Lots of stairs. Made the mistake of wearing jeans climbing up to the chairlift but it was still doable.

The rest of my trip to Capri was a dissappointment, so I was taking the bus back to the port from Anacapri to just wait it out, but fed up with no bus appearing in 30 minutrs and about 300 people in line ahead of us, we just walked. Not hard, but its a long way on uneven stone stairs, one should be reasonably fit. Most beautiful views to the Island and to Naples and Vesuvius

It is definitely worth taking this route. The views are amazing and the whole walk is great. Be sure you are careful as some of the areas are pretty steep and you can easily fall if you are in a hurry. I Would definitely make that walk daily when visiting just to take in the views you get.

Amazing experience going up this mountain. The views are incredible and really worth seeing. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs!

You can skip this one. Some nice art gallery upstairs but I found the movie boring and the view from the roof is not the best in the area ..

A brilliant building. Very cheap entry if you go to certain museums first. Cool view from the top and an absolutely MUST SEE multimedia show. Artworks interesting too. Shout out to the beautiful and delightful woman who showed me round. Very attentive and helpful.

The "guide" has the worst attitude ever. Not mentioning the horrible English skills, that can be overlooked if he would be at least nice and not hating his job. It would have been better without any info or indications. Fast forward tour, didn't feel welcome, no time or mood for pictures. Ufff!

In the word of our guide: Mi ladies and gentlemen, please stay away. Not worth 3.50 € per person. Was shouted at hey inglesses, go watch video after listening to the most monotone guide.

Quirky museum that's more art gallery than museum. OK though.

Beautiful hike along the sea which took us about 2 hours. We started at Grotta Azzura and hiked to Faro to enjoy the sunset and beach in the evening. You will need good shoes, enough water and a hat (it got quite hot during the afternoon). We stopped in the middle of the hike at a small and hidden but very beautiful quiet place to jump into the sea. It was a bit challenging to get into the sea because of the rocks and waves but worth it. Definitely a great hike to explore the island, being active and enjoy the evening with sunset at the lighthouse.

Best walk we had here. Start at the Grotto azure and walk to the lighthouse. Just fantastic also with kids. Good shoes are recommended but no necessary. Don’t forget water!

Mindblowing hike off the beaten track. Reasons to take this walk: the wild nature, the beautiful views from the cliffs - breathtaking at some points - and the only way to experience the bays Cala Del Serpe and Cala Del Rio from land. Also, if you are looking for a getaway from tourists, this is it. Practical info: bring good shoes, water, snacks, sunscreen, avoid the warmest hours, don't forget your camera. Start from the bus stop before the lighthouse Il Faro and walk towards the Blue Grotto rather than the other way around.

Great view! Worth to walk! There are buses to visit the area but there is a unique experience by walking! The capri iland must be visited by foot! It is a lot to walk but is worth it! The best views are not to be seen from the buss!

We did this in 1h20min. Strong pace and did not enjoy the views. Would recommend 5/5.

To go to the Blue Grotto we took a bus from the port of Capri to Anacapri (they are about 150 meters on the right after leaving the port, follow the “ticket office” signs). Then arriving in Anacapri we walked about 100 meters following the main road slightly uphill to a small bus station offering buses going to the blue cave or fard. Arriving at the blue cave, you have to go back up the road by which the bus arrived and about 200 meters higher, on the right, you will find the start of the path which you just have to follow. Vers la fin de la marche, proche du phare, attendez-vous à une grande montée bien raide pendant environ 1 km. Le sentier était très peu fréquenté quand nous y sommes allé en septembre malgré la quantité de monde présent dans les zones touristiques. Nous avons eu de la peine à trouver le début du sentier, donc n’hésitez pas à demander au chauffeur du bus qui pourra vous faire descendre devant le début du sentier. Pour aller à la grotte bleue nous avons pris un bus du port de Capri à Anacapri (ils se trouvent à 150 mètres environ sur la droite au sortant du port, suivre les panneaux « billeteries »). Ensuite arrivé à Anacapri nous avons marché environ 100 mètres en suivant la route principale légèrement en montée jusqu’à une petite station de bus proposant des bus allant à la grotte bleue ou au fard. Arrivé à la grotte bleue, il faut remonter la route par laquelle le bus est arrivé et environ 200 mètres plus haut, sur la droite, vous trouverez le début du sentier qu’il suffira de suivre.

What a delight! A big thank you to owners of this place. I passed the park on my hike and was amazed by it- a very clever and generous use of private land to give people food for thought. Gelsomina restaurant across the road has the best kitchen on the island and not overpriced like many others. Overall I am very happy I stumbled upon this gem of a place!

Visit it when the sun kisses the sea at sunset. Peace and quiet place. Only the cicadas invite the seagulls and the sea! A magical place where you can't ask yourself philosophical questions!

So full disclosure we didn't manage to make it to this beautiful place and neither did the people we travelled with despite our best efforts as we ran out of time. Capri is not a well-mapped place when you get there and it took a while to get our bearings. To get here you'll need to get to Piazza Vittoria square and then walk (cars not possible on the roads) for 20-30 minutes through narrow streets - bring a map or have good internet to google map it! Good luck.

Beautiful spot to enjoy the sunset and evening with the lights of the lighthouse. There is a restaurant and a cocktail bar nearby (they both closed at 9pm). It’s easy to access by bus and to get back to Anacapri (from 9pm the bus run only once per hour).

It was 20 degree on the day we got there, so the nearby beach was closed. The view was beautiful nonetheless. The nature around was peaceful.

Better admired from the sea by boat. Worth a stop for a swim, but it can get very crowded. There is no beach and you jump in deep water, go only if confident in swimming. The few restaurants and bars are quite good and relatively good priced.

Most south and west point of Capri, stunning views and waves hitting the coast. Got there by rental scooter, a must see if you like coastal waters and views

Walked down to this church after taking the chairlift up to Monte Solaro based on reviews. It was firmly locked shut. It was a long steep windy and rocky path in the middle of a hot mid-July day. A huge regret not taking the chairlift down as the chairlift up was magnificent. Don't make my mistake!

We absolutely loved this place. The view from the terrace is amazing and the people were so very welcoming. We had a great time there. Also a good place, if you like to visit the quiet and lesser crowded side of Capri Island.

This used to be an old church but now is an art Museum. The relics in the church are still intact and just simply beautiful. The mosaic work on the floor called the garden of Eden is spectacular. If you are in Anna Capri which is also known as little Capri then you should visit church of Santa Sophia.

Anacapri is a fun place to visit, if you are in a vacation in Italy, specially Naples. There are many architectural marvels, and Chiesa di Santa Sofia is One of them. I was at work, so didn't have a lot of time at hand, but it is highly recommended for a short 2 Day trip.

A great view to watch sunset and sit peacefully. The path is very narrow to walk, however it is not too steep. One can walk from city centre to this point in less than half hour. Do not miss the other point from where you can watch the grotto from far.

You have come to the right place if you are looking for a quiet place without a lot of tourists. An amazing view of the cliffs and the sea on the island. You can continue walking along a marked path to see additional views of the cliffs from this viewpoint.

Quiet and beautiful. If escape on this little island is possible, this charming area is it. Catch the view of a lighthouse far below, from a stage for performances that one can only guess at. Enjoy.

Amazing walk and didn't see another soul, this should be a must visit on Capri, especially if you hate the crowds of Marina Grande and Capri town.

I felt like I was with family here! The breakfast was delicious, and the room was perfect! This bed and breakfast does not disappoint - Raffaella took care of my family like we were her own. She arranged for us to have a driver because my parents have mobility issues, took care of all our dinner reservations, and made sure we had the best time possible while visiting Anacapri. We could not have found a better place to stay or better people to help us explore the island to really maximize our experience during the 3 days we were there. I hope I can visit again soon!

Wow this place is absolutely great! We just had two nights there and everything about it was lovely. Great breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden from which fresh ingredients were included in our breakfast. Rafaela welcomed us with a map and help on what to do in the island. Our room was very clean, private and yet open to the garden. Had a lovely chat to her father who talked about the history of Capri and brought our luggage to the port for us. Lovely yet professional family run place. We’ll be back.

Excellent Stay here at Villa damecuta! They treat you like if you are family they are all so sweet and kind hearted. She explained with a map to us all we could do a Capri and how to get to places using the bus, etc. The location is awesome! Very nice and close walk to Anacapri town with all the nice shops and restaurants. Monte Solaro chair lift is also very close walking distance and bus stop for the Blue Grotto and other places is a near walk also. The breakfast is amazing very good with lots of food and fresh! She washed a lot of our clothes for the smallest fee and we had to move to another hotel because she was booked the next day and her dad was so extremely kind to drive all our luggage to our new hotel. We arrived at Capri with no hotel and called this place and she instantly received us with the kindest greeting with drinks in our room. She even spent lots of time calling hotels for us to find us a place to stay the next day. The room had even a kitchen , very big and spacious very clean too. Overall a beyond excellent stay and the whole family is so beyond sweet. Love this place will definitely come back! Also great pricing for the location and breakfast offered.

We loved everything about Villa Damecuta: beautiful room with garden and sea views, great breakfast, peace and quiet, and above all, the host Raffaella and her family. Quiet neighbourhood of Anacapri that despite the growing number of B&B:s still has a local feel. Fridge in the room and flexibility in coming and going (we were welcome to leave our luggage both before and after check in).

All was perfect.... Super kind and helpful host and the family, special wishes for the father!...i be back for sure and recommend 100%....one of the best B&B experience... cant wait to be back! we sped there 4 days in august 2020. Peter with Sister and Mother Best wishes for all you guys.

we just checked out few hours ago, and i can’t wait to write this review. Spent 1 night, 2 full days at Villa Demecuta with group of 4. Booked a family room with 1 king size bed and 2 twin beds. The villa is located at convenient spot at the heart of Anacapri, quiet lovely little town. Raffaella and her family gave us a warm welcome on our arrival. The Place is perfect for someone who enjoys experience local lives, and the quietness after visiting all the over crowded touristy Capri. The place is clean, neat, and well kept. Water pressure is good and consistent. Air conditioning is available inside the room. Raffaella provided clear directions, and where to go during our stay. Breakfast is included, omelette made from fresh local eggs, tomatoes and basil from their garden. Nice patio for star glazing! We are having trouble to find a taxi back to the Capri ferry (all the taxi are busy to take tourists to the grotto). Raffaella father was kind enough to bring our luggages to the port, and Raffaella walk us to the bus terminal to make sure we all get on the bus. (We have 4 large luggages to load into the car). We won’t be able to catch the ferry without any of their help! Appreciate for the genuine hospitality! Side note, recommend to buy return ferry ticket in advance, they will sold out especially during the high season. If you decide to book this villa please appreciate for what this family had offer, they are very kind host, and absolutely deserve the respect to their kidness and the property.

One of the best homestay that we could get in our visit to capri. Rafaella ( our host and her family) were very kind, helpful and acted as a superb host. She was our local guide and helped us in exploring Capri to maximum extend. She provided excellent breakfast and also helped us in transferring our luggage to the harbour. The rooms were very comfortable and extremely well kept. I would definitely stay in the same place if I ever visit Capri again.

Villa Damecuta was an incredible place to spend a night. Our hosts were most welcoming and helped us to plan to make the most of our short stay on the island.
