Amazing! The scenery is breathtaking and dramatic. We had hired a car, so were able to drive round the National Park unhindered. Lots of good roads, but also tracks that allow you to see so much for free.

Great place to visit, I recommend a guided tour as a bus gives a greater vantage point. The demonstration on steam and fire is awesome. It gets very busy so an early start is recommended. Think about sensible footwear too the ground can be hot. You can get coffee and cake in the cafe. The guided tours can tell you about the history

Well worth a visit, only 12 euro per person. Tours is included and is on a bus, no chance to get out. There is a restaurant and toilets. Would recommend going in the afternoon as it is much quieter..

I just drove through the park, there was a visitor centre and camel rides along the way….I didn’t do any of that. But the drive was beautiful, lovely mountain landscapes and the volcanic rock on all roadsides are worth seeing. The roads are good and well marked.

Wonderful! Do it, you won't regret it. Food is lovely & they dish out lots of wine & drinks for kids too. Beautiful views. Only warning I will give is TAKE HEADPHONES if you're getting the guided coach tour incase you get what we had tonight. Both have splitting heads & had to take tablets & lie down from being subjected to the worst "music" I've ever heard. Thought the coach was dragging metal along under us but it was playing on the speaker!!! Then a gap & a random loud dong & more screeching. Pure garbage. Pink Floyd I'm sure he said but honestly no beat or tune so 🤷 noise then yeah??? Loud awful random noise spoiling the views. If you want to play anything up a Volcano play Lava or something for the love of God!!! Don't torture folk with blasting odd sounds at them. My forehead is throbbing so I'm coming off here. Definitely worth doing just remember to pack 👌

Amazing natural park that allows you to see the effects of the eruptions that happened at the beginning of the 18th century. The tours will take place in a bus. Its recommended to come early in the morning as the parking areas get easily full. You will need to pay for the entrance.

An enjoyable trip but very very long queues. Staff are friendly but it feels so chaotic and made us want to leave as soon as we’d finished the main bus tour. I’d return but only during a quieter period where we didn’t have to queue for an hour just to get into the car park!

Nice location. We just drove around. There is camel ride as well through mountain. The entire place is so beautiful. You will see volcanic rock as well. I would recommend to visit the place.

A trip through the volcanic national park is memorable, unique and obligatory. Taking the bus for an on-rails experience had the benefit of bypassing a lot of the queues so I would highly recommend taking one if there is an option. Although the scenery is breathtaking, there were many more "fun" things to experience on the island and even on pre-booked tours the whole experience is packed with tourists being herded through the whole time.

Very interesting to find out about the origins of the island. Such a shame that you’re not able to explore by foot but the free coach journey is quite good. It was very busy with a lengthy wait so go very early in the day or late afternoon to avoid a long wait/queue.

This place is surreal, straight out of science fiction. The land is like mars! The national park entry includes a bus ride with a detailed audio guide. Also at the end of the tour they give a nice demonstration of geysers. Perfect place for nature lovers!

If you love the volcanic landscape this is a must. Unfortunately not too many places to discover on your own or by foot, but even driving around and just enjoying the scenery is mesmerizing. We visited the visitor center by bus, so we skipped the lines. Nice attractions, to see that just below few meters underground it is still hot and active, just wow.

Amazing area, very easy to imagine what it was like millions of years ago when the island was being formed. Bus trip round the volcanoes was worth seeing (part of the price). Restaurant still sits on a hot spot. Worth the visit

Amazing place. Incredible scenery. Feeling the heat, seeing the effects of the magma and eating food which had been cooked using that heat was a truly memorable experience. The restaurant has beautiful views - we were there at sunset. Was very busy - 3 coaches - but plenty of food!

Nice place good food

Rather a church than erimitia (hermitage). A place of St Mary's cult - most important in Canary islands as they say. The church was ersed as a thank you to God's Mother Mary for saving the village from the volcano eruption - you can still see the lava flow stopped plus read the whole story about a miracle outside, at a small "chapel" to the right of the Ermitia/church.

A wonderful Church with an amazing story behind its foundation. A unique atmosphere of closeness to Our Beloved Mother: Our Lady of Sorrows.

Beautiful small chapel. Very peaceful and a great place to light a candle and say a prayer. Must visit when you go to Lanzarote. Make sure to wear respectable clothes when you do decide to visit!

Beautiful and amazing place. It took us 30 minutes by taxi to reach the national park from our resort which was near the airport. You need to pay 20 euros approx per person and you can park the car near the base of the visiting centre . A lot of people are also coming using the tourist busses. There is a demonstration by the guides showing the payment volcanic heat still present below the ground . Then a bus takes you around the park for 30 min showing you the different landmark and the places of the recent volcanic eruption which was 200 years ago. You can have camel rides or go hiking or use the dune buggies from a different place . We were a family of 2 i.e. in total 6 people and took a car to come to the park costing us around 50 euros but while going back we couldn't get 6 seaters and had to book 2 cars which doubled the travel cost. Suggestion would be to drive your own rental car or use the tourist bus from the town. Aldo visit the El Diablo restaurant. It is a must visit

Definitely highly recommend. A handy tip, for people with rental cars, when you drive through the area look for the little stone hut, this is the ticket office to go the the volcano tour about €70 for a family. The visitor centre further onto the park is free. Afternoon seems to be best with smaller crowds.

Interesting visitor centre near entrance to Timanfaya national park. Plenty of information about volcanoes, the Canary Islands and Lanzarote in particular too. Has a small shop, toilets and walkways over lava.

This is a great national park to visit to learn a bit more about Lanzarote’s history! Entrance was €20 per person which included the bus tour around the ‘fire mountain’ with audio guides playing in the bus, as well as demonstrations when you get off. There is also a lovely souvenir shop too! The park does get busy and has limited parking so when we left there were people queuing to get in. Highly recommended getting there for just before it opens to reduce your wait time.

Nice museum about volcanoes. The entrance is free and it has some amazing paths outside that allow you to walk above the lava.

A really cool place to learn about volcanoes and Lanzarote in general. There are a lot of illustrations to teach you and in the basement you can experience a volcano eruption yourself. There is also a cinema where you can see movies about Lanzarote and life on the island. Outside the building there are paths and viewpoints where you can get a nice view of the national park. Considering the free entrance this place is really worth a visit.

It's a must to visit Timanfaya National Park when you are in Lanzarote. Highly recommend going on a guided bus tour as only buses are allowed to drive on the roads made around the top of the volcano. Incredibly beautiful and exciting nature.

A very long wait. Dissapointed when we finally got up there, had a short coach ride around the lava fields. Not allowed out. Were not allowed in to the chamber, which was we thought, the pinnacle of the visit we were looking to. There are some great sights though

Very nice craft beer brewery pub. When looking at the entry you wouldn't guess that there is plenty off space with inside and outside seating. Service is very friendly, speaks decent English and is quite fast. Bonus: you can buy some bottled craft beer home

Nice place in the heart of Tinajo which is per se a very intimate village. Malpeis has an amazing terrace from where it's possible to enjoy a great view of the town. They serve both beers and wine. Went twice and tried Mochai white wine, delicious! Nice service and good food. Highly recommended.

Perfect place for beer geeks and foodies. If you love craft beer and good burgers, then this is the place for you. The only downside is that it's quite off the beaten track but it's worth getting there.

Part of the craft beer and wine tour. Highly recommend this tour, Dan our tour guide was knowledgeable about so much and not just wine and beer. He explained how to taste wine properly and what to look for depending on the wine. The different beers were great and quite strong compared to UK beers. But they don't have a problem with drunks here like we do in the UK. A most interesting tour highly recommended.

Young, cozy and vibrant micro brewpub in Tinajo, Lanzarote. You have 3 choices of artisanal beer: Jable (sort of lager), Bermeja (red ipa) and Rofe (bock). They serve good and juicy burgers and tapas. Staff is friendly and easy. Happy to be here and enjoy the local vibe!

So glad we made the trip to eat and try the beer. Tried a session IPA which was lovely and had enough floral hops so not to overpower it, it was perfect for warm weather. Also had the Jable which was also very good. The food was also excellent and we didn't leave a thing. Service was great. Would definitely recommend.

A easy recommendation for anyone that enjoys a high quality beer and good food to go along with it! The service was absolutely top notch and incredibly personable. Upon initial interaction we felt very welcomed and were informed about all the available beers and their flavour profiles, as well as our options to try them. The outdoor seating area was very nice, with distant views of mountains and close-by characteristic houses on a hill nearby. Don't miss the opportunity to check out this place if you remotely enjoy your beers, even if it's out of your way. It's absolutely worth the detour!

Brilliant artisan brewery taphouse. Loads of beers to pick from, great looking food, and service was excellent.

Blink and you could miss the entrance, but inside is a great pub that has a terrace with good views out the back. A great choice of craft beers and a good menu of nachos, burgers etc. Friendly welcome and service ,so recommended for craft beer lovers. Get a taxi as some of the beers are strong and the location is a bit out of the way if you are staying in the regular island tourist locations. Great beer. Thank you!

We were out on the bikes and stopped for a drink as we've done in previous years. Beer is always good and great to sit out the back on the sunny terrace

Nice beer; awful food. A shame as it’s cool inside and we enjoyed the beer. Shared nachos & loaded fries which were fine but low quality. We all had a chicken burger which filled only half the bun and didn’t have much of the other bits with it. Service was quick and they have a terrace with lots of outdoor tables.

I have taken the beer degustation. 8 types were included. very recomended.

Visited today. Lovely volcano and 4 km walk was great. Unfortunately when we returned to the hire car, ours and the car next to us had been broken into( rear window smashed) be very careful parking here as whilst we were leaving the area we noticed that there was broken glass in other areas of the carpark. Nightmare, especially as its our 1st day here.

Excellent wine tasting and so good hubby bought a bottle. Really pretty scenery all around and well stocked cafe/restaurant. Definitely worth a visit. Very busy but cafe coped well

Car park is what it is, conveniently located for several good walks. Vehicle crime appears to have been an issue at some point based on some reviews and there was evidence of broken glass on the floor so keep your valuables on you or leave them back home.

My bike had a two year old service at Pro Bici. The wheels needed rebuilding as the spokes had gone rusty. Pro Bici sourced some new better spokes from Germany and now all is shiny and new. I also had a coat of Pro Team hydrophobic coating applied so now less cleaning is required. It’s lovely and shiny. Then new bar tape and brake blocks and all parts lubricated. It’s like having a new bike again. And all done with a smile from the knowledgeable and friendly team at Pro Bici. Thanks very much.
