This was my 3rd time visit. The beauty of the place is reduced. At entrance lots of concrete are increasing. The dense forest is losing its space. It is beautiful. It was more beautiful. The temple is same. Crowded place.

It was great visiting Hadimba Devi Temple in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. I visited this temple on 28 November, 2017 at about 01:09 PM. It was a nice experience. I really liked the architecture of this temple. Also the huge trees surrounding this temple looked amazing. Also there were some yaks nearby the temple which looked amazing. The weather was also cold and nice.

Must visit place if you are in Manali, the temple has such great architecture. You can find many local shops selling winter clothes, food and if you want to click with beautiful rabbits or lamb or in traditional Himachal outfit.

You will find peace of mind visiting this temple. The path to temple is so peaceful and covered with long deodar trees with sun rays coming from them is just beautiful. The main part of the temple is it is still in its old beauty with no major changes to structure. There is a market outside the temple area where you can buy Manali local shawls, caps and paintings. Must visit if you are in Manali.

Heritage of the temple still maintained. Good place to take pictures. There are yak ride also, which you all can enjoy. The place is situated amidst a deadar forest. It feels serene. Visit for worship. The place is good to spend time peacefully. Weekends are crowded. Prefer weekdays. There are 2 entrances for the premises. This temple is completely made up of wood. Also we can visit Veer Ghatotkach temple and jungle behind this. Modification needed here as no information is attached about this temple. I saw many people don't know much about this temple and the story behind it. Some of them are discussing stories but that is partial truth.

Location is very amazing, ambience is very good that you can find peace here. Very calm and quiet place.one of the good place to visit while going manali. At the back side of the temple you can find the pine tree forest, an amazing view you can get there. Ticket is there for entry to the pine forest and it cost you only 10₹.

I had a great time at this place with a wonderful ambiance. Inside, they offer various businesses where you can purchase saffron, dry fruits, winter wear, and more. Additionally, you can take photos with rabbits and even try on traditional dresses for a unique photo experience.

A very surreal place to visit in Manali. If you're up for trekking up more than 100 stairs, a breathtaking view waits at the end. Although nowadays it's very crowded, if you take the time and go early, you'll have a relaxed time, walking around. P.S- Do not buy kesar (saffron) which is sold by Street vendors, even though they do demos, etc. it's mostly adulterated.

Damn good inside. Photographers will be busy outside 😜. No photography inside temple. You will be delighted to see the idol there. Environment is friendly and parking is hard. If using car during the snow times it's very hard, use cabs instead. Or you can also walk if you stay at a near by places.

A great spot to visit during Manali sightseeing is the ancient temple of Devi Hadimba from Hindu mythology. Additionally, you can engage in other activities such as dressing up in Himachali costumes, capturing photos with large rabbits, or enjoying a yak ride.

The view and place at which this Temple is situated is amazing and quite peaceful. You can find Yaks and can ride on them by paying a very decent price. Also, you can click pictures with mountain rabbits here which local women carry with them to the temple they charge only 30 Rs for clicking pics with rabbit in your hand. Those rabbits are really furry. Also, you can click amazing pics here with trees and by sitting on rocks and also you can sit here for hours to spend quality time with your family and loved ones.

Hadimba is Wife of Bheem and Mother of Ghatotkach which relates from Mahabharata. This temple is related to mythology and spirituality that's why this is become more crowded place . Some photography and activities happened here so you can enjoy with your family.

As everyone knows, it's a tourist point. It's like not a must visit place. But if you are interested in knowing the history, you can definitely give it a try. There is no entry fee, and the ambiance is also good filled with alpine trees, and the locals would try to sell you kesar (saffron). You may avoid it, as they are not genuine products.

Solang valley is very beautiful. I would love to visit there again and again. Its natural beauty refreshes one's mind and keeps away from negativity. Everything was fantastic as I visited there with my family and every single moment we enjoyed alot. The only thing that annoyed us was while doing skiing ⛷🎿 the skiing masters or guides pull u from back and doesn't allow u to do. They charge high just for 5mins. That particular area gets crowded and u can't do freely. Though the Experience was very nice. Never fall in the trap of all those vendors selling Kesar as all these are fake. Hope you guys enjoy.

Great place to for sking in winters and for paragliding and other adventure activities in summers.

On top side of solang valley (1.5-2 km above parking) with zipline activity over the water. One can spent one or two hours. The option of ATV (all terrain vehicle) is available to reach here. One can watch water fall along with shiva temple.

Solang Valley is located just nearby Manali City. This valley has very scenic view of the mountains. It is covered in snow during winters. There are many fun tourists and sports activities available here throughout the year. Winter sports likely skiing, snowboarding etc are available here. Other activities the are also available are paragliding, zip lining etc. This is a fun family vacation spot.

For people looking to experience snow for the first time, solang is a good place to be.... how ever the place is way too crowded, but you will learn a lot about for the future explore of the snowey places. Was fun to be here, a lot of activities to choose from... The snow shoes they make you wear are no good and are slippery, so be careful. Make sure you insulate them with good warm socks. All in all it was a great experience.

•This place is just soo amazing you won’t believe it. It’s just on another level. It’s so peaceful to play with the snow, it just gives immense pleasure to you. The views here are soo mesmerising the tall snow capped mountains, the white clouds with blue sky, etc. •This plays has various activities to do. Horse riding, atvs, skiing, etc are the other activities. One of the major activity here is para gliding, this activity will give you immense joy and the view from the top is just soo fascinating that you would wish just to glide through the •mountains. The food you will get here are maggi, bread omelette, sandwich, etc. •Before going here you have to wear a costume which cost around Rs 200 with shoes. Wollen gloves won’t help here water proof gloves would help you as you will play with the snow and without water proof gloves your hands can get wet and it can reduce the blood flow in your hand and same goes with your foot. •I travelled here on 31st December, the roads were jam packed. It took almost 2.5-3 hours to complete 15-16 kilometres from our hotels. We had to leave the hotel at 7 am and we returned at 6-7 pm.

River is very clean, well maintained in Himachal Pradesh. Vipasha was the first name of this river. Water is very clean and very cold (child). Its a very long river. Its total length is 470 kilometres. The Beas River marks the easternmost border of Alexander the Great's conquests in 326 BCE.👍🏻🧡

This temple is so beautiful. Its hot springs and peaceful surroundings offer a unique religious experience. They also offer alms to it’s devotees. The over all view that the temple is situated is so good. The temple's significance in Sikhism and Hinduism, along with its natural beauty, make it a must-visit destination for seekers of both spirituality and scenic beauty.

The gurudwara is good. They offer free food and accommodation services. The quality is very good. Also this place gives a feeling of relief and inner peace. Their is also a hot spring for bath and a magnificent landscape.

We stayed here for 1 night where shiv Parvati stayed 13000 years. Here there is hot spring which started at that time. We get peace here. We can hear voice of the Parvati river. We can get 24 hours free food (called langar or prasad) and food made from hot water spring. Accommodation is also available. We stayed here 2 night. Kasol is only 4 km away. We visited this place at March-2022.

Very nice place, although i have been to many gurudwaras this one was very special. It is a must visit if you are around kasol. Given the place where it is situated and the scenic beauty that surrounds it, it is a very special place for all the tourists. The hot springs are addition to the aura of this place. One can take bath in the hot springs and get relieved of all the stress.

I visit every afternoon to eat and meditate. This place heals you from inside. And last but not least you'll get the amazing view of Parvati river and the mighty Himalayan mountains. Must visit.

Amazing peaceful experience, must visit and take a dip in the hot water spring then do the darshan and enjoy the yummy Langar and tea. There is a proper parking available there and didn't cost anything to park.

Whenever you are planning a trip to Manali and Kasol, it's recommended to spare a day to visit this Gurudwara. Manikaran is a pilgrimage center for both Hindus and Sikhs. Hindus believe that after the flood, Manu recreated human life in Manikaran, making it a sacred area.

Sitting in the lap of spellbinding backdrop of mountains, this place is also known for its hot water spring. This gurudwaara which is just 3km away from kasol. We can take bathing from the hot water-spring(It is believed that bathing in that hot water cures all diseases). There is a langar(a communal free kitchen) in that gurudwara from there we can have free food and prasad. I visited the gurudwara at around 3pm and they served rice with moong dal curry and potato and brinjal sabji. It was a bit crowded even on weekday.

I visited this holy place 2 times, and want to visit again. Blessed by god who gave me chance to visit and experience place like this. Mesmerised by the beauty of nature created by god! This time we stayed here for a day and experience Langar and got free of cost room to live. LOVED IT! I hope that all religions would provide same experience as they.

The place is honestly very peaceful and serene. The best and most unique part of it is that same place has a gurudwara and a temple both. The river water flowing with such a high speed, the bridge above it, the steam from hot springs and the colourful flags put over there create such an environment, one never wants to leave. Sitting there and simply watching people and hearing sounds of nature... it just can't be explained. JUST ONE SHOULD MAKE SURE TO LEAVE FOR MANIKARAN IN KULLU EARLY IN MORNING, WE MADE THIS MISTAKE AND WERE CAUGHT IN HOURS OF TRAFFIC. THE TEMPERATURE IS ALSO NORMAL TO WARM, SO NO NEED FOR WARM CLOTHES AT ALL.

Manikaran is located 5kms from kasol in Parvati Valley. We went there in may month so no heavy rush and no traffic jams. Enroute there are many villages.We took a bus from Kasol 10rs/person. The place is known for hot sulphur springs. There are also Gurudwara, Shiva Temple, Raghunath temple and many more small temples. Hot springs there are unbelievable.. we boiled rice and black gram in it and came to know from a local that all the parshad (like potatoes, rice, pulses etc..those which can be boiled) for langer is cooked in hot springs. It was all foggy there not due to winter but due to the fog of springs. I really liked the place and recommend it to all those who are going to kasol. Note- currently there is heavy rainfall and landslides so check the weather reports before you go.

Manikaran gurudwara is located on the parvati valley and near the river parvati. It is located about 4 km from kasol so you can visit there by car or bus. Famous place for both hindus and sikhs and other tourists. Hindus believes that the "manu" recreated the human life here at manikaran after the floods and that's why this place had been worshipped. This place having small temples of 'shiv','rama','vishnu' and main attractions of 'manikaran gurudwarasahib'. Place is absolute beauty with hot spring water and parvati river along with it. Also there is arrangement for stay and parking. I enjoyed here for around 4 hour, prasadi was so amazing and tasty, visited shiv temple behind the gurudwara and enjoyed whole view of river,hot water and Mountains. You can feel sound of nature, sound of river and breezing air.

Very holy and spiritual place. Every one Darshan here Shree Gurudwara Sahib Manikaran and also Shree Manikaran Mahadevji. 24×7 Tea PRASADAM and Langar PRASADAM served by Volunteers and also from Gurudwara Committee.

Absolutely wonderful. One can literally see the magic mother nature holds! The river was freezing cold and once you enter the gurudwara it was very warm and comforting. Hot caves gave us relief from the cold weather and really felt well.

Place in the heart of Kasol. The lord Shankar temple is there and the hot water kund is the miracle of god. Some says that sulphur is there so I agree but few things which local villagers says those are really nice and we have to trust on this. This is the reason we call Himachal as Devbhumi. Parvati Valley was great with nature. Must visit!

No words for this place. Awesome Gurudwara and ShivParvati Temple. In Gurudwara, Lungar(free food in form of Prasad) is provided inside and in Shiv Temple there's a natural hot water pool in which you can cook rice which takes 5 mins to get cooked up. Loved this place. But route of this place is under construction (25th march 2k24) so met with lots of jam and traffic.

Definitely worth visiting, and not just for visiting an hour or two, it'll be more worth to stay a night here. We were a group of 5 and booked the King Suite. The decision of staying a night here was totally worth it. It's a great place to click some beautiful pictures. The view from the king suite is simply amazing! The suite is huge. You can book it from the Himachal tourism website. They have a valley facing restaurant too within the palace. Believe me you won't regret staying here, if you prefer a day just chilling with friends and not visiting around much.

Beautiful place where a lot of bollywood movies had been shot. With a nice little restaurant on the upper floor. There's a museum too which is basically vacant. And it's not really a castle either. But it's perfect for taking aesthetic photos and having a little outing. So other than that the place was memorable with a great view of Beas River

One of the famous tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. HPTDC tourist rest house is situated within the castle. My experience was awesome during the stay in castle. View from the castle is breathtaking 😍. Just 1hr drive from Manali. Price off ticket to enter the castle naggar is Rs 50. It is open from 9 AM to 6 PM.

This castle is indeed very beautifully maintained. It is available for stay and a visit as well. Entry fee is rupees 50 for indian citizen. Small shops are available inside for shopping and food as well. It is indeed very clean. Views at the cafe area are really amazing and this place is perfect for some sort of shoots since it has a good architectural value. There is also a small temple inside the castle.

It's only worth visiting when there is no crowd, in my opinion, otherwise it's basic. The views from the castle are great and you can click good pictures here. The castle is turned into a hotel, and there's also a restaurant and museum inside. View from the restaurant is spectacular. The cafes outside the castle are amazing too, do try out the german bakery and nightingale cafe!

Excellent Place to visit.The Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical structure made of stone and wood,. The castle was built by Raja Sidhi Singh in 1460 AD in an impressive combination of European and Himalayan architecture. There are three small shrines present within the premises that hold religious significance.

This place is not a museum. Mainly for its location. You can take good photos here. They charge 50 rupees. I don't know why. It is only a hotel with lots of rooms. I don't recommend this place as tourist place. For photography you can go there

It's a historic place of significance and I'm glad it's preserved. HPTC has converted it into a hotel and one can also book a room here, but I really wouldn't recommend it considering the number of visitors that come here (it would be a complete invasion of privacy, loud and disturbing). The castle itself is hardly something one can experience since all rooms are used for the hotel. However the architecture and views are gorgeous from here

Lovely place... Naggar castle is not only a place to visit but it is also a homestay arranged by Himachal Pradesh govt. A well maintained property. This is the palace of king which is now a heritage property

The place shouldn't be called a tourist place, it's a Restaurant and lodging, people are over-hipped on this place. One good thing is a good view of the Himachal mountains from this place. It's around 25km from Manali and I don't think this should be included in your itinerary.

This is an amazing place to visit for a tourist in Manali. The view from the castle is amazing. If you go at the perfect time of the year, you also see sunlight shining off the snow atop the mountains. The castle stores various relics of the past. The entry fee is fifty rupees per head, and parking space is there on the streets, though it is limited. I'd recommend this place for a short visit if you're in Manali ✌️

A place of great historical significance, renowned for its role in various films, including the iconic location for a song sequence in the movie "Jab We Met". It's a picturesque spot ideal for capturing breathtaking sunset views and stunning photographs.

Stayed here for the night. Good accomodation. They provided us with room heaters. Views are awesome especially at night with the lights on. Food was also great and delectable in ample quantities. Most of all the behaviour of the staff is great and are very helpful. A great experience that cannot be missed.

Naggar Castle is a beautiful picturesque place to be at, the castle holds a great history and architecture of Himachal. The view from here is breathtaking and can be composed to take beautiful portraiture and landscapes. There's a temple inside the premises which also has a great history, beautiful wooden carving can be seen and felt through out the place. Must visit!!

My favourite movie was shot here. The view is really beautiful and the castle has that anglo Indian architecture. It's really pretty

This is a place you shouldn't miss when visiting Manali. This is a religious place along with a hot water spring bath that has separate bathing facilities for men and women. We can do puja here as well and the architecture of the temple looks very nice. However, I need to mention that the place is unclean and no toilets are present nearby. The toilets are far away and dirty, also a place for bathing is not very isolated.

In this place Maharishi vashisht temple is situated. The road is too narrow for crossing two cars. Paid parking available here. Lot of shops available for food and shopping. Wooden Name plates you can buy on very cheap rates.

Best place for snow fall, not much crowded, but very pleasant and clean place, we enjoyed a lot of snow and a beautiful valley view. Maggi is too costly 60 ₹per plate😜😜😜😜but eating in such a cold atmosphere give g8 feeling, horse riding is available but one can walk easily, washroom available

A must visit place in case the Solang pass is closed. You can enjoy snow. Magnificent views of the hills. The place is comparatively less crowded. The drive to Gulaba is very scenic. We stopped our car well before the Gulaba point because of excessive snow. There were local 4x4 Jeep operators that offered services to reach the Gulaba point. It's advisable to hire these vehicles because of their better control on snow covered roads as well as the driving skills of the drivers. The ride to Gulaba point was of around 10 minutes. We enjoyed the open jeep ride. It's advisable that you equip yourselves with right kind of clothes if you intend to play in the snow. Special clothes are available on rent in the village on the way. This package includes clothes along with boots and woollen socks.

I have visited this place in Nov-2018, you can reach here from Manali which is around 30 KMS, you will get warm clothes (snow dress) and shoes at starting point for rent. You can even take the skiing equipment for rent. A must visit place if Rohtang pass is closed for visitors. Loved it..!!! :)

A must watch spot in manali. Located near to vasisht Temple. You can reach there by trekking for almost 2 km. Through out journey will be memorable one. Very beautiful water falls with chilled water. A good place with a decent trek, trek is not long but a little difficult, takes around 55-60 mins to reach the top. The view at the top is amazing.

Beautiful short hike to the waterfall and even better view when behind the falls. Do not forget to climb up to the falls which most of the tourists don't! You'll miss out on a very beautiful experience.

One of those treks where the journey and destination both are breathtakingly beautiful. From bahang, it's just a one hour trek but might be a little challenging for first-timers. If you've done treks before, this trek will be basic for you, still tricky at times due to slippery routes caused by snow in winters. There's another longer route (2.5 hrs) from Vashisht temple which is comparatively easier. Be prepared to feel a bit chilly near the waterfall since it sprays its cold fine mist on you. Lastly, I really recommend everyone to do this trek as it's SO worth it. The moment you witness the majestic waterfall with the ever-present rainbow at its base after the tiring trek, you'll be spellbound. I promise!

It's an amazing experience to walk through the dense forest and narrow path to reach the wonderful waterfall. The path to reach the waterfall looks little bit tougher but after completing half of the trek the path is easy to walk. The visuals are damn wonderful in the way to reach the waterfall. Its a 40-50 minutes trek and when you reach the top, you feel refreshed after seeing the wonderful waterfall.😊 Must go for it. If you reach there at the time of sun rays directly kissing the waterfall then you can enjoy the 1 or 2 rainbows 🌈 in the waterfall.

I went in Oct 2021, and it was the best experience in Manali to visit Jogini Waterfall. It's 3 kms from main market or bus stand. Manali is like a hidden settlement behind the mist of surprises and adventures. Every time you visit the town, you get to unveil another secret of its mystical existence. Jogini waterfall which starts from the famous Vashisht temple, Himachal Pradesh, is one-of-a-kind treks from Manali. Jogini waterfall meaning is derived from the name of the daughter of Lord Indra – Jogini who is said to be taking bath under the waterfall for a long time. Interestingly, locals of the place Vashisht also believe that several deities still live under the waterfall and hence it is strictly prohibited to make noise while touring through it. Well, other than mystic mythological side to the renowned Jogini falls, it offers you a tremendous experience of an amazing trek through an adventurous route. Initially, the trail will start with a moderate ascend and away through the mountain, but eventually, after some time, the trail will turn into a much steeper stony and muddy ascend. You will be walking over a route where at one side will be the mighty mountains to help you climb but on the other side, you will have a large valley going down as far as you can see with clouds floating almost at your height. Not many of the tourist in Manali think to explore the beauty of this hidden mystical waterfall, therefore trudging over the trail it will be mostly you and your pals alone in the lap of secretive nature. This place is for people who likes tracking. There is tracking for approx 5 hours which requires a lot of strength as the tracking is on straight mountains. There are 2 waterfalls, the small one is after 2 hours of tracking. The views was not mesmerizing, it was just ok.

It's a beautiful waterfall in Manali. One can walk from Vashisht Temple Or take the road. An auto will drop you at the base of the upper jogini falls from where it's just about 30 mins of climb. It's best viewed early in the morning when there are miniscule tourists. We were there around 7:30 am.

A challenging trek (particularly in the winter months due to slippery trail), well worth undertaking, leads to this gigantic waterfall. Although there are small waterfalls on the way, it's worth the effort and the views to hike up to the main waterfall. It's massive and full of water, quite a sight to behold.

Been here multiple times, the experience only gets better each time I visit. A small hike (need to be fit in order to complete it though) leads to the main falls. The place is beautiful beyond words. The view from Jogini in Winters is breath taking. There are a number of Waterfalls at Jogini depending upon the season that you visit in. You will have to walk/trek your way up the mountain if you wish to view the bigger falls. It usually takes about 30 mins - 1 hour for the whole walk both sides included.

An easily accessible, beautiful area spoiled by excessive amounts of trash. It's a 20 minute walk up from the main road. Or you can walk from Old Manali, walk past Manu Temple, take the steps left after Rocky Cafe and then go right into the forest towards the Flintstones Camp. Follow the lovely path until you finally reach an apple orchard. Follow a small path right which takes you down to a lodge. Follow the road parallel to the river towards Goshal Village. There is a small wooden bridge to the right. Follow the locals. The path will take you to the main road, turn right and the first road on the left takes you up to the falls. Once at the falls, there are two paths. A steep path on the left gets you close to the falls (and above the trashline). Great views but be cautious. For the path on the right (you'll see stone steps) cross a small bridge and go past the shrine. Up and behind the shrine, there's a cool, small, friendly tea shop. Recommended. Overall, definitely worth a visit and a very nice hike from Old Manali.

Jogini Waterfalls is one of a kind.One must park the vehicle at the bottom and begin trekking there.There is no entry fee.Its an adventurous trekking and can be tiring for beginners.Persons with any kind of health issues must refrain from attempting this trek.There are 2 paths- one leads to the bottom of the waterfall where we can feel the cool breeze of the jogini .The other leads to a view point where we can experience the beauty There are maggi shops at the bottom where we can satisfy our hunger after the trek.There are many stray dogs too who guide us through the mountains and are extremely friendly to the outsiders

Very beautiful hike. There are 2 sides. The right side is very nice and easy with a path to the bottom view but i think there is a fee. The left side is local and free although many young guys will tell you that a guide is needed but dont believe it. It will take 15-30 minutes depending on your ability. Do not attempt in wet conditions as there are steep dirt slopes and it could be dangerous. The view is worth it as it is very beautiful 😍

This waterfalls is a real beauty to gaze at. You need to trek 1.5kms to reach the waterfalls. There are actually two different routes. One leads to a place where you can take a dip in the waterfalls. Other to a viewpoint. It’s formed by a tributary of river Beas. The stream from this waterfalls then joins with the Beas river in Kullu. If you are lucky enough, you can spot a rainbow 🌈 near the waterfalls. This captivating waterfalls is a romantic destination. The flow of the waterfalls is heavy after monsoons. We visited during June. You have to park you vehicle at the entrance and trek uphill to reach the waterfalls. There is no entry fee. There are a few snack shops on the way. The view of the waterfalls and the surrounding nature is quite extraordinary. The water is almost always cold. It’s a refreshing experience to trek all the way upto the falls. There are some stray dogs that are all set to guide you through the way. You can also spot a lot of pines trees. You can also get maggi or tea from the maggi points after the trek. The waterfall also has a mythical story connected to it. Jogini waterfalls is believed to be the place where Joginis, the daughters of Indra whose to take baths. The area around the falls and the forest is considered to be sacred filled with feminine energy. It is believed to be a place where one of the Shakthi Peethas fell. A temple of Jogini mata is also located at the base of the waterfalls and hence the name.

Absolutely worth visiting! There are multiple trek routes to this waterfall, but I highly recommend taking the one starting right beside Myoho Homestay in Bahang village. It's comparatively easier, shorter (around 45 mins), picturesque, and you'll most probably get a fur companion as well 😄 We trekked to the Jogini falls, spent a good chunk of time there, then crossed over from the space behind the waterfall (it's a little tricky and risky, so please have some company and get shoes with a good grip). Once you cross over to the opposite mountain, you can continue to trek down to Village Vashist, via a beautiful forest with Pine trees. Bonus: You might catch a rainbow when the sun comes out ❤️

This place has the best view of Manali. One side you can see the mesmerizing Jogini waterfall and the other side you can see mountains covered in snow. You have to do a trecking to reach the waterfall and its worth watching.

We visited in the month of March. The water flow was moderate. There are 2 routes to reach the fall. First, from Vashisht temple, a picturesque route with moderate to high difficult trekking. Second, start from the main road, initial phase of the trekking is very easy but after 400m trek becomes challenging. However, we can shift to first route after 400m mark, if the flow of water is not heavy. In short, first route is longer but relatively easier than second one. Very limited parking space and high traffic in first route. Recommended if you are hiring local cabs or travelling with driver. We opted the first route to reach the jogini fall (2 km approx) and get down through second route (1.2 km approx). Our driver dropped us at Vashisht temple and picked up in the parking of second route.

It is highly recommended to visit this temple on foot as it'll let you experience local touch of the town. On the way you'll get a step closer to the mother Nature. The beauty surrounding the Temple will get amplified once you have reached the temple. On the way you'll encounter old local house, a lots of cafes and haven to backpackers as there are lots of hostels in the nearby.

Good temple and old Manali architecture but very poorly maintained, have beautiful sculptures of God and goddesses but being not looked after. Very sad to see condition of this beautiful temple. Locals were playing cricket outside inside it's boundary. The concerned authorities should immediately do something and hand it over to archaeological survey for its upkeep, otherwise a beautiful treasure.

Manu is the reason for this city being called as Manali. Small little nice temple. One need to talk around 60 80 steps to reach temple as car can't come till the door. But a good one. One gets a nice snow cap mountain on the background making this temple very serene

It's a newer temple built in an indigenous style. But I didn't find it fascinating. We went there late in the evening, so instead of seeing the temple more, we took a walk through the narrow roads, though people's houses and the places there, which was rewarding as we saw the local people, their life and had a great chat in the process.

Nice temple in Old Manali, it's at the end of a street in old Manali which has a lot of cafes and souvenir shops. The temple is dedicated to Sage Manu and it has idols of all the avatars or incarnations of Lord Vishnu. A picture of Devi Hadimba is also here.

At first, I was feeling tired, and there was a slight rain for about 5 minutes. I contemplated skipping this place after hearing that I had to walk 1 km to visit the temple. However, after a rejuvenating cup of coffee, I decided to give it a go and took an auto-rickshaw, which charged 100 rupees for a one-way trip. To my surprise, the place turned out to be fantastic, with stunning views of snow-capped mountains. I felt reluctant to leave and ended up spending almost an hour there, capturing breathtaking pictures and immersing myself in the mesmerizing scenery. It was definitely worth the visit!

Visiting the temple was truly a serene and blessed experience. The view from the temple grounds was simply breathtaking and felt a sense of calm inside the temple. The experience of being in the presence of so many deities, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the devotion of fellow worshippers, was truly unforgettable.

It's fine if you don't visit! Nothing interesting at the destination. The journey towards destination is amazing. If you love mountains & trees.. You should visit the place. You can have a glimpse of the Jana Waterfalls (which I call Nahin-Jana Waterfalls) and also the view from the journey

Beautiful and quite location. Waterfall is very attractive and one can take good pictures in selfie mode and in groups. Best part is the two dhabas serving local food that is surprisingly cheap but astonishingly tasty and nutritious...Red rice, Mustard leaf curry, corn flour chapati baked on firewood, rajma curry, nigri pickles, Siddu and jaggery.

Do have traditional food freshly prepared by this local family. It's delicious and yummy. Their two little children love Cadbury silk ..remember to carry for them.

Nice waterfall, you can enjoy zipline nad other activities. There are many stalls that allow you to sit close to waterfall. There are many levels of waterfall if you trek up, only couple of them are commercialized. If you trek further you can enjoy better view and peace.

Very serene place 10-12 kms from Naggar castle. Drive wasn't very smooth as it was off-road for most part. Very peaceful and nice place. Must try the local food from the shops there are. We trekked till top and that was magical. Zip line is also there if u wish to do it . Lots of greenery also which was more beautiful that waterfall itself

I visited there on Monday and there were not many people. There are local restaurants which offers "Siddu" as their authentic dish which is okay to try only once and a 100rs Curry Rice looked more steep than the terrain for the top of waterfall. Visit Jana waterfall not only for the waterfall itself but mainly for the local Himachali lunch thaali you'll find right near the waterfall, at Sagar Thakur Dhaba. It's very filling and extremely tasty! The route is very beautiful and picturesque, but also, a little steep and rocky. So I recommend visiting anytime, but monsoon, as it might be difficult to reach. Also, it's better if you visit and get back during the sunlight hours itself, because once the sun is down, you might find it slightly difficult to drive. You can easily take a rented vehicle or your own.

It's a good place to visit. Very less people know about this place. There two or three local food joints there. If you want to eat good and authentic local himachali food then try Sagar thakur dhaba instead of much hyped Maniram dhaba. Maniram dhaba is only hype. Sagar serves the best food.

Awesome place to visit in naggar. Peacefull and quite. Best time is early morning when you can actually be there all by yourself. Short solo trek is the best part. Also try the thali served by the first restaurant when you arrive by a guy named Gautam.

It was overall nice experience visiting Jana Waterfall. But one thing i must say that the journey is much more beautiful than the destination. There are little dhabas which serves you delicious authentic himachli cusine like makki ki roti ..lingdi ki sbji..siddu...local rajmah..red rice..and other home grown veggies... you can have a short treak around the waterfall as well...

Not so photogenic place. Not calling either. Not picturisqe also. Unclean. Good scene all around to reach there. Local food to eat.. Okok. Kadhi chawal, pickle was tasty.

You can enjoy a wonderful experience. You need to trek for 5 min to view the real beauty of the waterfall. Must try the local food available near the waterfall. The journey going through the hill will give thrill and suggesting to have good functional motor vehicles or can book the cab. Don't drive without having experience in driving in hill stations.

Jana fall 10 km far from naggar.. An there u can enjoy lockal food with yummy test... Its on high altitude 2200 mtr... View are so amezing there...

Nice place if one prefers a quieter place compared to touristy places. There is a dirt road trek among devdar trees which was good since no traffic. The waterfall itself is not very big. The local food is excellent (we ate in first restaurant - which has seating at multiple levels)

Don't expect a big waterfall and go there, you'll be disappointed. It's a small waterfall, very small. I took a bike on rent and went there. The ride was good. It was a very nice ride. I had fun. Enjoy the journey. Near the waterfall there is a small Dhaba where you can have local Himachali food. It was fine, it wasn't that great. If you like riding bikes go for it otherwise I would suggest you to go somewhere else.

The place gives you a peep in the life and work of great artist, philosopher and scientist family of Mr. Roerich. The wooden house looks beautiful and the rooms, which are well maintained, can be seen from the windows. These rooms also give an idea about the instruments they used. Apart from the house the whole area is covered in greenary and offers you spectacular view of valley and mountain.

Wonderful to see how russians were mesmerized by our culture and traditions. Museum depicts how they were influenced by Indians and even Russian trends. It depicts the lifestyle alongwith the history of the Roerich family and ancient russian and indian relationships.

From the place you can see mountains covered with snow also. This place is divided into 2 parts. I part where you take ticket and see place where Nicholas Roerich stay along with his belonginess. Other part you need to climb way staircases to visit Museum where lots of paintings and you can see Himachal culture things. Both pace have 1 valid ticket only. When you climb via staircases you can see beautiful garden and lot of greenery. There are few bench for rets also. I visited here few weeks back and it is an OK place. There is nothing different at this place. It is very far from Manali and Kullu. You should not visit here in late evenings because the place will become lonely. Try to go in groups during day time for the view.

You have walk up to reach this place .Nice view of the nagger city . You can also take rest and relax on the way to this center . Beautifully maintained compact collection To visit the Urusvati museum of folklore, one need to take some extra 200 steps uphill. It is worth the extra effort you take because the way up is really picturesque. The museum is well maintained and imparts knowledge too. Beside this, there’s Roerich International centre which showcases the reproduction of Master's creations. And one is allowed to take photographs.

Loved the place , peeping through the window(only option) gives you the glimpse of Roerich family. A Russian Monk and his multi-talented wife and sons. Their connection to First Lady of Indian Cinema. Whoohoo what extraordinary life Roerich family had. Bought their books and paintings. If you come here come to take away the curiosity and story. I am sure going to spend some time reading and understanding them.

Great experience, avoid going with private vehicle until and unless you have SUVs or 4x4. The road is not government owned (private property of Dam Authorities, so the condition is very bad. But once you reach there you will be experiencing heaven.

A land pulled down from heaven, filled with raging rivers, beautiful pine trees, and green plains. I did a short trek here to Chikka camp (Hamta Pass Trek Base Camp), and the beauty I witnessed was unparalleled. I can't imagine how much I would see on the full trek. If you're interested in trekking, then this is the place for you!

Superb 5 day trek in the midst of the mountains. Needs slight fitness since day 2 and 3 climb is a bit steep and long. But totally worth all the effort. Must do for amazing views. Preferably do this trek during June-July as it starts getting very cold after September

A lifetime experience. A very beautiful trek. Starting from the walks through the trees, to muddy patches and rocky terrains, & finally through the snow glaciers, we crossed everything that came in our way. Those windy nights, tanned skin, delicious food, exhausted body, low oxygen levels, variety of flowers, slippery glaciers, long walks, masti at the campsites will never leave my memories. . PS: I still can't forget those numb legs after the river crossing with naked legs in freezing cold water.

This trek has the most blissful views of all others that i did. Me and my friends did this trek in the month of march and we had the best possible weather conditions. The trek is difficult but it also gives promising views and experiences. The valleys are mesmerising and you will also encounter many streams which have crystal clear water.

What a Beauty 😍, Hampta Pass trek changed within myself. Before the trek starts there is no electricity or network, which for me is the best way to understand the mountains and respect and be blessed for everything you come across.. ° All the base camps are amazing , food throughout was better . ° It's not hard , it's just moderate trek. Anyone can do it. ° You come across Indrasan and Deo Tibba , which are mountain peaks. ° The snow covered peaks , Yes they are majestic and beautiful at the same time. ° Balu ka ghera basecamp was favourite of all.. The best time will be once after first snow, you can do this even in May-June for pristine greenery around.

One of the best treks ever in the Himachal Pradesh. Before this trek i didn't have any multi day trekking experience. Its one Day trek if you start early you can arrive this place in 4-5 hours . No brek in this time.  altitude can reach up to 4000 m or more. On difficult treks, the chances of altitude sickness are high. The weather is constantly changing. If you want to night haut there you have to carry all things. There is no camping site .You have to carry your camps. Suggestion: travel with groups and guide it helps you . Water and food you have to carry with you there is no mid way shops and villages so try to carry all medical facilities also. This place is a origan of beas river. The mountains around are majestic making the view mesmerising. You can see Dhauladhar range on the left and Pir Panjal on the right. The kund has water melting from the glaciers from both these ranges.

It was the great adventurous activity I've ever done

What a surreal experience it was to climb to Lady Leg and look at Beas Kund from there! The whole trek walked us by the Beas river and we saw how the river expands. From the top at Lady Leg we saw the glacier that was pouring out water to the Beas Kund and how the river then continued on. Witnessing this phenomenon was one of the greatest experiences in my life! Pictures can't even begin to describe what the real experience was.

Beas kund this is the another lovely and magnificient treck surronded with hard mountains like hanumaan tibba and friendship peak.this is place where maharishi vedvyas g perform medidation for there peanace and also did long sadhna .this place is easily accessible not very tough and have a nice snow capturing mountains view.

Easily one of the best day hikes i have ever done. I went in august and there were flowers blooming everywhere. The moment you see the lake you realize how beautiful it is. It has exceptional views of glaciers and snowy mountains. PS. The hike is slightly on the difficult side as the route is rocky.

Beas Kund is my favorite trek in Himachal as not only the destination is beautiful but the journey is beautiful too. The entire landscape is covered with colors here and the valley looks absolutely magical in the night. The lake also is quite gorgeous and sparkling clean.

One of the most beautiful places that I hike.. this was an amazing experience, 4 days trekking going up to 3900m. Every night we slept at the same place and from there every morning we took different trail. We had a local guide 50 year old or more and he was the best thing we can get, so professional, we felt safe with him 100%. Looks like he born in the mountains.. he know everything.. simply a pleasure ! Highly recommend ! !

It was a great trek, it takes a bit longer to reach the spot. It takes plenty of courage and motivation to complete the trek in a single day as there are 2 green hills and the rest are morons to climb them. Carry enough food and water while going there. Also, do not carry heavy bags with you. It will be great if you can start the trek early in the morning before 7, still you would be facing tanning. It needs at least 6-7hours to complete the trek if you don't take too many breaks.

The Museum is a completely unique and awesome series of unknown and rare antiques of the kingdom. It demonstrates the almost extinct articles that in reality show the forgotten culture, artwork and handicraft of Himachal Pradesh. The Museum shows fashions of temples, antique houses and forts, conventional dresses, utensils, musical and ritual units, timber carvings and diverse other articles. The museum is lovely but many artifacts and historic gadgets that can be of fascination to people journeying the location. totally encouraged in case you want to get to recognise the local ancient history of the region. The museum is clean and well maintained and much less crowded for the reason that it would not appear to be a museum. it's very well embellished with precise collectives of historical time. No one there for guiding or taking care of this place nor explaining the information about things kept there, people are visiting inside with no common sense, making noise touching the artefacts and so on. i suggest the authority to give someone authority to take care of the museum.

A very interesting place to visit if you want to know about the history, food, culture and habits of the people of this region. We saw a lot of interesting artifacts such as cooking utensils, ornaments, weights/measures, models of historical buildings, wood carvings, vintage photographs, coins and tools. It's a small museum so you can finish within 1 hour of timeline but it is definitely worth that time.
