Barefoot Landing is a nice place to go on a nice day. It's an outdoor mall set up for the scheme of shop+eat+play. It is the younger sibling of the nearby Broadway at the Beach outdoor mall set up in the same way. This is a nice family area, with activities for every age. Youngins can play on the playground(s) or play free games like giant-sized Jenga or giant-sized Chess, parents can play too or join in a group class like Yoga and there's seating everywhere for those who want to watch their kids or have a drink. I've even seen people sleeping. There's some walking you can do, from the waterway to the paths between stores and parking lots, which are plentiful. There are many restaurants where you can get a good meal or drink and there's somewhat limited shopping, mostly for niche vacation items and tchotchkes. There's ice cream shops, candy shops and an arcade. Occasionally, there is live music or other some such entertainment. The only negative is that you won't find any mom and pop shops that I can see. The plus is that all of the places, even if corporate, are relatively high quality places and small chain retail and restaurants.

We enjoyed the Duplin Winery tasting tour! Our host was very entertaining!! We were served 10 different samples of wine, the tenth was either a full glass of frozen wine or a choice from their wines. Along with the wine you get some homemade gourmet crackers and dip to enjoy. All of the wines were delicious, but our favorites were the sweet wines. Brice's Creek is our favorite, along with Other sweet wines- Duplin Sweet, Hatteras Red, Pelican Red, Scuppernong Blush, Cool, and Cotton Candy. They have dry wine - Coastal Shag and Summertime Strut, soft dry -Burgundy and Carlos, sangria- Sangria Red and White. They have a variety of their cotton candy, Peach Cotton Candy, Peppermint Cotton Candy, and Lime Cotton Candy. We tried the Lime and didn't care for it at all. After the tasting, which cost $15 per person, we enjoyed our final glass of wine in the deck outside listening to live music.

We went to Barefoot Landing in the evening. A bunch of places were not open. Perhaps there is a lot more to see and do during the day. No complaints, though. We ate and walked around and found ways to entertain ourselves. The water was pretty with the lights reflecting on it after dark. There are more places to eat than we could have counted wandering around. There were lawn games, which was neat to see. We tried to play chess, yet it seemed to be a popular game. There are chairs to use on the lawn to look at the water and enjoy whomever is on the stage. There was a busker who had a really nice voice. If you like to take pictures, there are ample photo opportunities at Barefoot Landing. Walking across the bridge is a nice experience in itself. Would we go to Barefoot Landing again? Yes, and maybe even during the daytime to see what is different. ;-)

Always a great place to spend a leisurely time. Found a very good coffee shop, Cafe Paris. Great coffee and service. They have inside and outside seating. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. The boardwalk is a winding adventure that takes you over a water area that has ducks and fish

This place was great, people down there are so nice. I just went for a breath of fresh air and it felt amazing. I attached a couple of pictures for the first time.

We have gone twice and loved both times. It's a North myrtle beach look at Broadway at the beach, just smaller with less attractions. Nothing to out of the way to see here. But definitely worth the trip to see it. It has come to be a must stop and see for when we visit the Myrtle Beach area.

More local vibe stores and restaurants than Boardwalk. Very pretty, a lot of turtles and alligators in the water. The stores are all pretty, but they do all close at 8pm which i think it's bit early. Easy parking, restrooms are hard to find.

When we stayed in N. Myrtle beach we went her twice. Both times were lovely. We preferred the vibe here then in central Myrtle Beach. It's very pretty and not load. I would say it draws more young families and older couples.

One of the best! We have been coming to Barefoot Landing for many years and have watched it evolve! We have seen bridges get wiped out, places get torn down, but all in all, everything made Barefoot what it is today! A fun family place for walking, shopping, play and more! My favorite place is The Christmas Mouse and Black Market Minerals is a close second. I really enjoy how they have incorporated large games and playground equipment for some free family time. Lots to see around every corner! Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. Non-motorized wheelchair rental available. Restrooms available. Playground and arcade games.

A great place to spend a few hours if not half the day. All sorts of shops and restaurants. There will always be something to get your interest. Very clean, the people are nice and the vibe is good. There is a nice lake in the center with several walkways crossing it. And there ARE alligators in there. We saw one (well...part of one in the grass) sunning itself. Go and enjoy.

Lovely place to walk around and shop. Delicious restaurants and relaxing atmosphere. It’s smaller than Broadway at the Beach so if you can’t walk quite as well as you used to, you can get just about the same experience here on a smaller scale.

All kinds of shops highly recommend coming and visiting and if your anything like my brother-in-law while the women shop... always a spot for a beer break....lol

Great place for an afternoon stroll. Good outdoor spaces for kids and grown-ups alone. All the shopping and food you could want!

First time here and we definitely recommend this being a spot to try for anyone visiting Myrtle Beach. There are a ton of restaurants and shops and plenty of walking around and entertainment for children as well. Our favorite spot is the brunch spot Blueberry Grill. There is a big playground for children, ferries-wheel, a small train, life size board games and lots to see. It’s nice and festive during the holiday’s and they offer s’more making for families. Came here on a Sunday and it was not too busy which was nice.

Had a very nice tasting with Mr.Dave yesterday! It was a quiet windy day so we had a great chat about the wines and some local places. Fell in love with the Pecan Pie wine. Which sounds weird but is a delicious Pear wine. Stop by and give it a try.

Great place to spend time with your loved ones and enjoy good weather. Many places to eat at, order drinks or bring your own, lots of things to do with kids.

This is my second time here I love this place. Love the atmosphere the small shops and the way it’s laid out. We always visit every time we come to South Carolina.

There is something for everyone here...and so very pretty! We walked around and enjoyed the shops and got food at the restaurants. They had a really nice playground and pond that the kids loved too!!

I always enjoy walking round Barefoot Landing, especially with my dogs. Its a very relaxed environment with many things to enjoy, especially if you like to shop, and dogs are welcome everywhere here.

Wow! What an adventure! We arrived shortly before opening on a weekday. Get ready to walk around 2 miles in total. We stayed 2 hours enjoying the exhibits. The park was clean and well kept. There’s ample shade and a few indoor exhibits to cool off. In addition to education on many species of alligators and crocodiles (an albino alligator), there were ostriches, hyenas, mountain lion , flamingos, turtles, birds, parrots, macaws, snakes, lizards, boas and lemurs! The staff was friendly and it was an enjoyable family experience for our 4 & 9 year olds. Be prepared to spend another $100 at the gift shop for must have tees and coffee mugs. We skipped the food and had a few waters and sweet tea while visiting, which comes in a souvenir cup.

I was blown away by this exhibit. The staff and zookeepers are friendly, informative, and interactive. My family typically blows through attractions quickly, but we actually spent 2.5 hours in this place. There’s an astronomical amount of alligators and you can tell they’re well taken care of. We loved the reptile building and the reptile shows they offered. 10/10 recommend!!

Excellent exhibits and lots of informational posters for individual animals! It was very accessible with very few stairs (ramps available) and no tight corners or walkways. The animals were probably the most tame and interactive compared to any other zoo I have been to. They all looked and acted happy and healthy. We got to watch the alligator feeding and it was extremely fun. Took us about 1.5hrs in a slight hurry and could easily be more. I will be attending again in the future.

We decided to check this place out since we just moved to the area. They offer a local discount just bring your license. I have to say things are very clean and well kept. Even the exhibits are well kept and clean. I would recommend this for families looking for something to do. They have a small snack bar and a gift shop. They did a little show and the people in the first 2 rows got to touch the snake and the alligator. At the end of the presentation the lady went over to an area so the rest of the people at the show could touch the alligator.

If you go in the summer, be prepared to walk in the heat! They do have large fans in a few spots which was nice. The reptile building is air conditioned. There is a snack shack with soda, water, and small snacks. There are about 5 tables in this area. The shows are interesting and seating fills up fast.

I love this place, went here for the first time with my husband and was so impressed I came back 1-2 years later during our annual mother/daughter beach trip and brought my mom. For reference I'm in my mid-30s and she's early 60s. The look on her face when we first walked in and she saw ALL the gators at the first exhibit was priceless! There's many spots to stop and sit/rest along the walkways and shade to get out of the sun when you need to. No issues bringing in a water bottle although there is a snack bar also. Restrooms at the front and back. Most importantly I feel like there's a great mix of animals here to see and they seem well taken care of. Ive recommended many ppl to come here while they're in the area and will continue to do so.

We have been to Aligator adventure many times! The kids always enjoy looking at all the animals. Plenty of interaction from the staff! Everyone was super friendly and informative. We love it here. Plenty of places for photo opportunities.

As a reptile keeper myself, this place was great to visit. All the animals were healthy and in good shape, enclosures were clean and appropriate for each species, they even seem to have their own veterinary clinic on site. I completely enjoyed myself and will be back again. As for people complaining about the price, properly caring for all of those animals can’t be cheap! I had no issues paying the entry fee to see well cared for animals.

Worth the money!! We spent 2 hours in the park and we took our time and saw a feeding show. My 4.5 year old had a great time. Very well taken care of and the animal exhibits were clean, even the water (I took a picture). Overall, worth the money for a day of family fun! Also, plenty of shade and bathrooms.

It was a nice experience. Our group enjoyed the feeding and reptile shows. Kids were excited to pet an alligator at the end of the reptile show. It seems like the animals are very well taken care of. I appreciated the fans around the complex to help combat the heat.

Staff was good. Animals were awesome. The shows were good and the staff are very knowledgeable. The 1 and only complaint I have is the snack bar. They only serve hot dogs and corn dogs as a source of actual food and they charge $3.50 for them. They have popcorn and ice cream and drinks but when you go to a family place if that caliber and pay 25 and 35 per person to get in you expect to be able to have lunch while you are there. They do not allow you to leave for a meal and return the same day. Not cool.

Very clean, nice facility. Assortment of Alligators and Crocs. Birds, lemurs, mountain lion, owls hyenas, lizards and other reptiles. Expensive, but I can only imagine the overhead costs of the place. Staff is exceedingly kind and knowledgeable. Our prices were $38.99 for adults and $19.99 for kids. They do have a snack bar with light snacks for hungry kiddos. Very well stocked gift shop as well.

You will definitely see plenty of alligators. My daughter is fascinated with alligators and she was not disappointed. We spent 3 hours here - 2 hours is probably an estimate if you are not with an alligator fanatic. Other animals were cool too.

Very cool place! Spent a little over 2 hours here and saw soooo many gators. We even stayed for the little show and got to pet the baby gator at the end. Would definitely visit again.

I very rarely leave reviews but I was blown away by this place. I'll be honest, I thought it was going to be a dump. My partner and I had so much fun seeing all the animals and seeing the shows. The zookeeper(?) was so lovely and answered all my annoying questions. The staff were so helpful and kind. The animals were all healthy, and that's one thing that makes me nervous going to places like this. Snacks were perfect for someone with a pallet of a five year old (uncrustable and Cheetos). I highly recommend this place, and will happily go back next time we come to town! (We're from central New York) Well worth the price, and we left with some stuff from the gift shop!

This place was so cool! We went in not knowing what to expect but just wanted to show our son some alligators and boy did he love it! You walk in to a pit with TONS of alligators just hanging out. My son was stuttering and so excited! I honestly think just from that we said the price was worth it. It does seem a little expensive but it’s SO worth it. We’ll definitely come back!

When we paid 91$ for 3 tickets (2 kids and 1 adult), it appeared kinda high, but it was totally worth it. We went in Feb and it was a very cold day. Make sure you wear warm clothes. Alligators were in brumation and were not fed. A couple of Macaws were greeting us, and we could hear them repeating after us: "hello," "good bird," and other phrases. Unfortunately, when we tried to video tape, they got shy and turned away from us. Snake and reptile houses were amazing. It’s a waste of money. It’s only open for 30 minutes, which will give you not a lot of time to explore. Also, the photos per person are extremely overpriced.

Very pricey, but it’s well worth it! They took amazing pictures and you get many copies…they feed you not once but twice of refreshments (crackers with hummus and granola cookies and strawberry smoothies) and had a small lunch of pizza,pasta,chips, cookies and drinks. All of the animals were amazing and the staff work so well together! I wouldn’t recommend for smaller children who can’t sit still and listen to instructions. Overall an amazing experience will be back!

I know it’s fun to hold the animals (I did it here when I was a kid). But ask yourself why they’re having so many babies and where the babies go after they grow up. This place is owned by Doc Antle from Tiger King (which is telling) and is known for taking infant animals away from their families and keeping them in isolation their whole lives…solely for profit. This place is not a non-profit and is under the investigation of the USDA for the poor treatment of the animals. Please do your research before supporting this place.

Ridiculously expensive (all to hold a little sweet adorable teeny tiny tiger baby) but it is a cute idea nonetheless!!! Its like $100 a person for MAYBE 10 minutes (and only 1 minute of that is touching fur) lol The people running the show here are making SOME SERIOUS BANK!!!!

Just ask yourself how would you feel if I take your baby and without your presence let other people hold it for a picture. There is no difference between a mother is a mother, no matter what role you play in the universe we are all beings in this place and we have to respect each other if we want our kids to have a place that they can call home. Nice, cool experience. We’ve gone twice now. I will say pricing is absolutely absurd. $400 for 2 adults and 3 children (a family of 5) to get a single picture is crazy. I think the reserve owner takes advantage of people on vacation and wanting this experience. Prices are not reasonable to hold the animals less than 2 minutes total. Also, I was unaware of cruelty or neglect of the animals. Sadly, I found this.

They were at barefoot landing between 6p and 8p as they said. It was free to see them there. Good little experience . you can pay to see them closer and get pics.

I've dreamt of being able to do something like this for a long time. The staff here are not only fun & friendly, but they are extremely knowledgeable. If you're ever in the area I would highly recommend going, it's an experience you will never forget! Remember, their conservation efforts do not stop here, they contribute all around the world, BRAVO!!

Awesome!!!! We didnt take advantage of the photo op/holding a tiger opportunity, but we did get to watch the babies play, and we got to pet a little monkey!!!! Loved this!!!!!!

We really lile the folks here. They care about the animals and quickly remove them from display if the weather us poor. The animals come first. Its a bit expensive but worth knowing the money goes to help perserve the tigers in the wild. The memories are worth all of it.

Great rainy afternoon or cool weather activity. I’ve been here on 2 different occasions, 3 years apart. I enjoyed it more 3 years ago. I am not a fan of their wines as they are way too sweet for me. I think their dry wines taste like water. That being said, I enjoy doing their tastings. They’re interesting. They are not terribly priced. They have gone up in price and you don’t get to keep your glass. I really enjoy their slushees though. They have a decent sized store which is enjoyable to browse.

I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. We come here every time we visit Myrtle and it’s never a bad experience. We’ve been coming here for the past 3 years. The wine tastings are just the right amount. I’ve been to many wineries and none have been as wonderful as this one. The employees here treat you like family. They care, and they have a wonderful sense of humor. The fantastic wines are a bonus. We keep coming here because of how welcoming and kind the atmosphere is, a true taste and tribute to the south! So happy we became members, it was honestly a great value.

We did Rose Hill earlier in the week and of course we had to stop by the Duplin in Myrtle. For a Saturday, it was not as packed as it usually would be during our visit. Able to do the tasting within 10 minutes. Barbara did a wonderful job giving information we had not heard before. The wine slushy was fantastic as always. Finally was able to get a spot under the heater. They also have fire pits. The live music was great. Met new people as we had glasses of wine and listened to music. I would go back to both Duplin’s again and can’t wait for the Florida location to open. Can we get one in Richmond, Va?

Wow. Such a great place . Winery has been here since 2015..Paid for the wine tasting and tour and even bottle my own wine how cool was that...

BLUF: Great wine, extremely rude staff, no air conditioned seating, no free water, cash only bars. After driving past Duplin Winery several dozen times, we decided we needed to try it. It had to be pretty good given its size and always packed parking lot. Immediately upon walking in, we went up to the front desk/hostess and explained we had never been here before and asked how the tastings worked. She just said there was a cash bar available outside. When I pointed to the tasting advertised on the wall behind her and asked if they had specific times we needed to book she responded sharply “yes” with a long pause before huffing and finally telling us the times available. We decided on the four wine glass tasting for each member of our group, what she didn’t tell us was that there was only outside seating available. We wouldn’t have chosen that particular day to visit had we known that. Another thing shocking to me was that water is only available for purchase. I have never been to a bar, brewery, distillery, or winery that didn’t have free water for its customers. The wine tastes good, but everything else means I will not be returning again. I’d recommend buying any wine you’re interested in and enjoying it at home.

Great wine tasting experience, live music, beautiful venue! Most of the wines are a little sweet for me, but lots of options in red, white, and sparkling available. Seasonal and member only wines, lots of unique gifts.

This is an absolute must stop place while you visit Myrtle Beach! This is the best wine tasting experience I have attended! Our host, Rich, had entertaining stories about the wines, and his stories and jokes were worth the tasting fee. Barb on the patio continued the experience with a FULL wine glass as we settled in to listen to the live music. The CB Reese dip was awesome, the wine was excellent – even for someone who prefers more dry wine. Stop in for an afternoon and enjoy the atmosphere and great wine. You will not be disappointed!

This winery is AWESOME!! The ppl, the vibe we loved visiting and the tasting are like none I’ve experienced and I’ve been to my fair share of wineries. They take you to a room and you sit around a bar and the server servers you each tasting with some history on the wine and some good laughs, Matt was fantastic!! Mostly sweet wines a few not so sweet but they are all delicious. Had a great time!!

Great wine! Great friends! Great day at Duplin, North Myrtle Beach. The bartenders make the visit so enjoyable, each in their own unique way. They share their knowledge and love for the Duplin Wines, all the while having fun doing it! Today we had the BEST tasting EVER!!! Our bartender, Carolyn, started with a group of strangers that all left as friends. We helped celebrate a bride’s recent wedding and another girls birthday! We were expecting a wine tasting that included someone describing the one and letting us know what's the best thing to eat with the wine. Instead, we had to choose the wine we wanted to taste on a card, hand the card to someone, then take the wine and sit down with our packaged cheeses. It's not the best wine tasting experience, but I guess that's what we pay for. I wish it was explained to us when we we paid for the tasting. One thing I did like was sitting outside while we sipped on wine.

I absolutely love visiting this winery every time I go to the beach. Staff is always friendly and the wines always tasty. It does get crowded quick, especially on wkends so get their early if possible. Either way it’s always worth the visit.

We did the wine tasting today in north Myrtle beach and it was such a fun experience. Matt did an amazing job explaining the wines and keeping it upbeat. When we were done with the tasting we sat by one of the few fire pits and drank our wine. Definitely will be back

My husband and i went to a tasting today with Matt and he was great! This is our third visit and he made it the best so far :) he was super memorable and did a great job letting us know about all the deals and membership program. Highly recommend couples try it out. Great time for only $3, free parking across the street in the ramp on the 2nd floor. Great place to see dolphins and see what the fishermen are catching. We saw someone catch a small stingray and then cut it up and use it for bait.

The food at the restaurant was great! We had tons of birds to keep us company. The pier was awesome. We met a lot of people while walking and watching everyone fish. We met a few locals who were kind enough to show my kids their bait and fish and talk to them about the marine life here. We also saw some sharks and jellyfish from the pier.

I love Cherry Grove Fishing Pier Area. To look for shells and shark teeth or to swim and lay in the sun it is hands down the best place to go.

This is a good fishing pier. There is a tackle shop at the entrance, but nothing else on the pier. It costs $3/person to walk on the pier, and $10/day to park in the sand parking lot at the end of the pier. There is not a ton of parking available in the area.

Great place to go while in Myrtle. $3 admission per person. Definitely worth it. Scenic romantic spot. Definitely a great place to take in the majestic veiw of the ocean, and feel the cool breeze breeze press against your skin. If you are a photographer, great place to capture images. Make sure you have the passport parking app. There is a parking deck across from the pier that uses is.

A truly beautiful place to visit. I have went there 2 times in my life once being a few weeks ago then the other time having been 2 years back. At the time they made canvas work of parts of the beach and i bought one that i still have to this day. Such a beautiful place. Posting some photos of and from the pier at night. Beautiful place for great pictures. It's in restoration from the hurricane that passed last fall. But they are doing a great job of getting it fixed. Caught a couple of kids surfing by it. Can't wait to see it done. It's going to be a beautiful spot to fish again. And also beautiful pictures for graduation and weddings.

A truly beautiful pier to walk and fish from.. Currently under reconstruction from hurricane damage (Dec 2023) so not so much at the moment but still a grand pier. Even more so when viewed from above at the Prince Resort tower behind it.. -[Feb 24 Update]- They're getting more replacement pilings hammered down, but they're going slow and working infrequently. Dunno why.. Spoke with man been coming to this pier for 50-odd years, madder than a hornet it's been closed for last 3 and not looking good for next 2 at least. Oh was he heated about having to go to the Apache pier (his words, not mine). I'll keep updating, here's from Feb 1, 2024..

If you're looking for a good breakfast, this is the place. The ladies here are super sweet, and the food is fantastic. The grits are the best I ever had. Pat, if you read this, I have some coffee coming your way.

The pier is still not open. :( Fair warning There is a one dollar charge to use the bathroom. :( It is still a wonderful location, beautiful, and the people vacationing are so much fun to talk to. We still love it!

We went to Cherry Grove just to walk on the pier...the pier is closed for renovation! But it did seem like a nice pier and the beach was nice so I can see going back in the future!

Only $3 for all day access to the pier. $8 per pole that you bring of your own, or you can rent one of theirs (unsure on price). We bought frozen bait from the pier $7.50/each. Bathrooms are easily accessible, restaurant on pier Fairly priced and tasty. Recommend bringing a beach umbrella for shade. Also under the pier is great for finding nice sea shells with the kiddos.

Had a blast. The Trinity of Terror Show. The only thing is that they said everyone had to show a covid test results or show a vaccinated card. Not true. I wasted 140 dollars for nothing. Beside that GREAT SHOW!!!!😜

Great concert venue. Check out the restaurant, cool experience, food was delish! Amazing collection of folk & tramp art on display. The staff is fantastic. Can't wait to go back for another concert. Need a place like this in North Carolina.

Always loved this venue, and came back for the Under oath and The Ghost Inside show. The venue is still great, and all of the staff was friendly! It's apparent they are very well organized. Also had some loaded fries that were superb!

Went to the Blackberry smoke concert on 2/17 myself and my husband. The place was nice but overly packed. You could not enjoy show because of the amount of people. People were shoving and pushing to get past each other. I definitely believe it was at max capacity. While standing enjoying the show someone steals both t-shirts I had just purchased right out of the bag while we were not paying attention and trying to watch the show. Not the best experience. I would have loved to actually get to see the show but because of the amount of people no matter where you stood you were not seeing the show. Very expensive. One mixed drink and one beer was over $30. The issue with the amount of people in this small of a venue is you can’t get to a restroom, the bar or anywhere for that matter. The only good thing was that with all the madness everyone was very friendly! I will say I would not return due to my experience and we drove 4 hours to come to the show!

Lousy time, nothing like advertised. We went to, gasolina reggaeton party it was lame at best. They show all kinda stuff going on in the trailer of the party; girls on stage leading the crowd. Confetti, light shows and all. Well there's actually none of it. We would have had a better time at a free local establishment and saved a couple hundred bucks! Do yourself a favor and avoid this mess. I asked a bartender if this was it ? She said using air quotes the party starts at 11 and goes for about an hour. I said this sucks, she replied, how do you think I feel? She had about 5 singles in her tip jar. House of Blues needs to advertise correctly or amp up the party. We went to the gospel Sunday brunch. The food was great. Every type of breakfast food plus brisket, fish, shrimp, jambalaya, fried chicken and more. Bread pudding, cookies and Danish. We went in March which made reservations not needed. The young man singing gospel was very good, the waitress was attentive and friendly. Sounds like a 5 star, right? It would have been buti felt the 45$ charge was high. Also even though they charged 45.00$, only coffee and ice tea were included. Even hot tea was extra. Seemed a bit ridiculous to me.

Another good time and show at the house of blues in North myrtle beach south carolina.just saw the band sum 41 and simple plan tonight on April 30th 2022 and just saw 311 there also on March 26th.have seen 100 shows there and I'm sure many more to come.keep rocking house of blues.

Unique venue with lots of character. Professional staff, well kept, good food and drink options. Speakers and sound are good. Plenty of free parking and lots to do in Barefoot Landing right at the venue. New Found Glory was awesome as always.

Seen Thousand Below, Crown the Empire and Nothing More there April 1,2023. Perfect atmosphere! Staff was superb. We had a VIP table and were literally treated like royalty. Food and drinks were wonderful and I felt the event was put together perfectly. 10/10 recommend and definitely plan to be back soon for another concert. I honestly don’t think there is a bad seat in the house!

I had a great time here! The waffles were soft, hot, and delicious! Also, they have a chef on site to prepare fresh made omelets. And trust it was cooked to perfection. The ambiance was colorful but old-time jazz vibes. The live music wasn't bad. And the service was great! Our waitress was attentive and readily available. Much appreciated!

We attended the Bad Omens concert last night 5/21. This was our first time here & we decided to purchase a VIP table online about a week prior since the show had sold out. Let me start by saying that the staff we encountered from security to bartenders and waitress were AWESOME! Everyone took care of us and routinely checked in to make sure we were good. Unfortunately we don't remember any names but everyone made our experience great. For a smaller concert venue, we expected the food and drink options to be just average but we were pleasantly surprised. There was a special VIP food list that we tried the loaded fries from as well as the burger and they were pretty tasty as well as decently sized so we could share. The VIP lounge had a larger selection of beer and mixed drinks. Yes, the place gets very packed as is to be expected from a smaller venue. You have to push past people to get to the restrooms or merch line as general admission means people can stand and watch the show from mostly anywhere even the bar area. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back for another show! Would highly recommend splurging for the VIP tables.

Had an early dinner her on July 26th I had the Jambalaya, my wife had the brisket sandwich. Jambalaya was ok with a fairly aggressive peppery heat level. The brisket was fatty and chewy - disappointing. The entry of the restaurant is very reminiscent of New Orleans. Inside is very nice. Nice clean well decorated bathroom though my wife mentioned there is no place to hang a pocketbook while using a stall in the lady's room. Later we met some friends on the back deck and enjoyed a drink with some music. Deck was nice. Overall, a nice visit with the exception of the food quality and price. Outside deck had good music and great atmosphere. Very attentive wait staff. Very disappointing brisket and a little expensive.

The Deck at The House of Blues is so much fun! We went to a retirement party this time but have enjoyed this fun venue a few times before. There's a Happy Hour from 6 pm to 7 pm, I believe. You can enjoy the full bar, live entertainment, and food from the Smokehouse.

Gospel brunch buffet is a must try! So many food options and everything was seriously delicious! Seasoned to perfection. Service was friendly and fast and the place was clean and well kept. It was great to have a live band playing gospel music while you enjoyed a scrumptious meal. I’ve been to Myrtle many times and can’t believe I’ve never been before, but trust this will not be my last time!

Band was great, food service was ok. However, the chunky bartender with bright blue contact lenses was very rude and condescending. She refused to serve us, saying we had too much already (although we were not even tipsy and very respectful). She said she will not be bullied and can be a bully herself—so uncalled for. Not professional and extremely rude. Although the place was completely deserted, we were having a really good time until that. We have never experienced being treated so badly; so much for southern hospitality. We will NOT be coming back.

I am not one to write reviews, especially bad ones, but My husband and I went to the murder mystery dinner expecting to have a great time. It was so so. My husband enjoyed the “mystery” part and trying to solve it, but unfortunately It was EXTREMELY loud. I could not hardly hear anything and neither could anyone else. There were several tables being very rude despite what was asked of them by the staff. The bread was stale, the salads were only about half portions, and the main course was dry and very small. It was advertised to start at 6:30. We did not get our salad until around 7:30-7:45. The plot of very cheesy and just too obvious. A few good things to close, our tea and water were always filled. The bathrooms were decent and the servers serving were excellent. The key line pie served as dessert was delicious! The cast as a whole was great and their acting was excellent, but the story line was below average. I do not recommend for people on a budget and do not go in hungry.

Really nice place. Environment was inviting, relaxing, great because our business team bought it out for the night also. The veggie egg rolls were delightful surprised the heck out of me lol. The fresh fruit was OMG soooooo delicious. Drinks were spot on. Crab cakes were a bit dry from what I was told, I didn't try them. I would definitely revisit.

We went here because it said it was “the best mini golf course” and we were really disappointed… this is far from a good course. This was very short and very easy. And for $25??? Yea not worth it Not to mention how rude the lady at the front desk was. She seemed annoyed that she had to help us and take time away from scrolling on her phone. Don’t Waste your time or money

Awesome! Really is the best in the country! This course has the BEST terrain/turf that I have ever seen on a mini golf course and my bf and I play whenever we go out of state. There are also some parrots at the front and the volcano shoots fire. They are all rescues, but just don't let your kids put their fingers in the cages.

This place is a little tough to rate. They advertise that they hold a national mini golf tournament there. While the place looks nice, and the volcano that shoots fire every 20 minutes or so is a nice touch, the golf holes seemed unimaginative, short, and a little boring. Probably suited more towards the 6-10 year old crowd. Not many curved greens, bank shot opportunities, holes where you choose one of 3 and it travels to another level, or obstacles here. Just a few hills, bumps, and light dogleg turns. If one was inclined to bring a real putter, it might be good practice for fast greens on a real course. I would recommend trying any of the other many mini golf courses along the beach, they were a lot more fun and had some more challenges.

Challenging and competitive experience. Golf was the focus and the theming added to it. No gimmicks here. Bargain of a price for the memories made.

One of the best mini-golf courses in the area. Interestingly designed holes with some shade for those sunny days. Parking is around back. Say hello to the parrot as you walk in. Be aware that there are some steps in the course and may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

It was fun, but I'm not sure I would call this "#1 in America," as the giant sign claims it was voted. It looked decent, and the staff were all nice. The course was clean, and the fire volcano was neat. I'm only docking a star because every single hole was a bit too easy and basic.

We went mainly for my toddler. It was a cute spot. Would suggest it if you're looking to do a little family activity for the kids.

Funny time with each hole had me thinking what to do next. Hint first hole put ball in center and let itself roll down for hole in one. I missed the hole by half inch.. The birds out front were very entertaining. The white one is a very talkative bird. Oh man, when I pulled the video out, it was a total ham. Showed me all that he could do. He knows a lot of words, so don't be shocked if he speaks a few bad words.

Great spot! They host the mini putt Masters here- we didn’t even know such a thing existed! Fun, well looked after course. Id imagine its beautiful in Summer (we were there in Jan). Lots to look at.

Good course, very challenging, If you are serious about mini golf and want a challenge, this is a good course. If you are looking for crazy putting options (crossing bridges or avoiding windmills), then this isn’t your course. Still is a fun environment with the volcano and the live turtles.

Championship putt putt course and you can tell. Well cared for greens, great tropical atmosphere, great course layout. This course sets the standard. If you only have time for one course while you are in the area, make it this one. I have played 12 different courses so far in the Myrtle Beach area and this is top- o-the-list.

What an awesome place for some mini-golf. The course may look simple but it's very challenging. The grounds are beautiful and the workers we interacted with were friendly and kind. The volcano "erupts" every 20 minutes and it's a bit loud so be sure you aren't about to swing! 😆

This place is amazing!!! I used the batting cages this past Thanksgiving day 2023. The weather was incredible & Pete (the manager) was friendly and had excellent customer service. Prices are reasonable.👌🏾Be careful though if you are getting ready to use the batting cages (outside)...the baseball bats & helmets (inside) are near two parrott cages and Pete said they like to grab glasses off people's faces. #Lol😅🤣 #IHighlyRecommend🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

We had a great time here. Clean beach, family friendly, just the right amount of waves for my kids!

Loved it. Not a hip-hop jazzy spot, just a nice beach for families and the older crowd. Parking is plentiful and only a few feet from the beach.

Relative to Myrtle Beach beaches, this is about as good as you’re going to get. Pretty crowded, condos and private parking lots abound. Fishing is poor, or I’m just a bad fisher.

One of many of North Myrtle Beach public beaches offering the likes of sun, sand and seashells. Clean, well maintained family friendly beach with plenty of room for all beach enthusiasts. More than average parking beachside and across the street with pay app and/or QR code. Gone are the days of free shoulder parking as signs line this once coveted grassy oasis. No immediate shopping and/or restaurants but Barefoot Landing and numerous restaurants along the ocean are a short car ride away. Cabana style building offer single unisex bathrooms equipped with a flushing toilet and outside sinks. Nothing fancy, but certainly a step above porta potties. Adjacent showers are available as the likes of umbrellas and chairs can be rented through another QR code. Come get your beach vibe on, collecting seashells and memories and leaving with your tan line bragging rights.

Cool little beach and we had a villa because of where we were staying and our friends as well. Beach was not too packed and we went in the middle of Summer.

Paying for parking takes all the fun out of going to the beach.

Loaded with shells. Clean. Restroom at public entry. Has both the soft sand and the packed beach sand. Came twice during our stay.

Quite beech, best parking at 37th & Seaview. Great waves. Good sand quality, showers are here as well as usable bathrooms. No soap! Literally! But it was a great place to visit.

Updated Review: Just received a response from the owner, screenshot is posted as a photo now. That said, BUYER BEWARE, please understand that the owner response is a direct reflection of the poor service and treatment our party had in the establishment that day. The rude behavior is obviously a top down standard of business for these folks. Never did we ask to be put first, never. Asking someone who works at an establishment to answer a question when she is at the register and NOT addressing any other customers at that moment, is not asking for an entitlement, it is literally in their job description. I find the owner's response unacceptable and full of blame that is so blatantly misplaced. Having been a past customer, it makes regret ever spending my hard earned money at a place that is not willing to take any responsibility for lack of decorum and professionalism. My honest review stands. We will never go back, avoid this place and it's rude service at all costs. The lady running the tastings on Saturday was unprofessional and downright rude. We went to the end of the bar, out of the way. I could not remember if we had to pay before we tasted or not so I left my party and approached the register and asked her . She said, " Can't you see it's going to be a minute? " and I replied that I was just looking for some clarification on the process as I hadn't been in since the year before. She says in an extremely belittling tone, "well we drink first then we pay, that's how this works but like I said its going to be awhile so you'll have to wait! " So rude. There is no need to treat customers in such an offensive way. Last year we bought several bottles of wine and Christmas ornaments for our kids, this year we were spoken to with contempt and we will not be back.

This place is awesome and the owner was amazing! We started with the tasting, and everything was so good! As we were tasting, she also offered us a couple more samples of some of the wines we picked mixed together. While in there we ran out of water for our kiddo and she was so kind and offered us a water bottle for him. We finally decided that we were going to get a bottle of the peach wine, and when it was time for us to purchase everything she told us “thank you for your service, you don’t owe me anything”! It was some of the best wine and experiences we have had down here. If you are ever in myrtle beach stop by and support this wonderful small business!

My husband and I came in a few weeks ago and had the pleasure of working with Collie. He was FANTASTIC!! He was funny, energetic, knew a ton about each of the wines and explained everything to us when we had questions. He made us feel like we were old friends just coming in for a drink. He was so great we ended up purchasing a ton of wines after our tasting. Couldn't have asked for a better employee. If you happen to come to this location please make sure you find Collie and have him help you out. The winery is very lucky to have such a great employee.

The best winery to ever exist. Seriously, it’s amazing. I traveled hundreds of miles for this place and I brought a few CASES of these wines home because it’s THAT amazing. I’ve planned my vacations around this winery and come here for several years. This wine keeps me coming back to Myrtle beach. Excellent friendly staff who are so lovely. The wines are 11-14 percent alcohol and you can select the sweetness to your preference. They also sell meads and “wineshine” which seems like the grape version of moonshine.

Wow. This place is absolutely amazing. Definitely will be visiting again next time I visit South Carolina. The service was great and the wine was delicious. If you are in this area please make time to visit this vineyard. (Make note Apple Maps tries to take you to the bargain store. The vineyard is located in barefoot landing)

From the moment i walked in the tasting room I was greeted with hospitality and sense of humor i could appreciate. The bar has a plethora of wines that will satisfy any palate. Collie was absolutely the best part of this experience. Form the time we walked in to the time we left he made us feel like we were frequent flyers. We will definitely be back

I loved everything about this winery. I’ve been looking for a sweet wine for a while. The red raspberry was so amazing! My second pick would be the cotton candy wine. I would highly recommend doing the wine tasting. The older gentleman that was working was so nice too. Definitely will come back.

We went in for a tasting and we went up to the bar there were people tasting. The lady said that she will get us in 15 to 20 so we went over and sat down waiting for our turn very patiently. Well we never got our turn. We will never be back to this site due to the customer service experience We would have bought a case of wine.

The wine was ok, but the employee there seemed very bitter about new people, including us, moving to the area. She's a life long local and didn't seem very happy after we had mentioning that we moved down here and she gave off some pretty uncomfortable vibes after that.

After reading reviews before going I completely agree with everything everyone said. The 4 ladies working the ticket booth were all rude and would stare through you before asking if they could help you. The staff running the sling shot ride and video booth were all super friendly and helpful though. All in all it was 156.00 for 4 people to ride and to get videos. I do have to say the videos were worth every penny and my kids really enjoyed the ride. It was a super quick ride and the line moved fairly quickly. I noticed on the reviews some people’s videos didn’t work however we came straight back to the hotel to watch them and ours worked fine.

This place is pretty fun I like the Slingshot, Airstrike and Skyfall but you really should take out the S&S Screamin Swing it’s an eyesore

My daughters rode the sling shot, I bought the package for the video, get home and there is no video!!! I have been calling the park for the past two days and no answer! I mean come on! Really disappointed about that!

The sling shot was amazing. I just have one issue. There were 4 persons working at the snack shop at the time but there’s this one person, she’s short and fat, I believe they called her Ashley. She treated none of the customers with respect that were before me while I observed. Her attitude was very stink. Thank God to the tall slim girl that was able to resolve my issue that Ashley caused after giving me the wrong order and had the audacity to tell me that I had to wait until she finishes the tickets that she had.

My first time doing the slingshot. More likely my last time as well. They didn't do anything negative, it just went up extremely high. This was once in a lifetime. It was fun. The adrenaline was great.

I was in Myrtle Beach for 4 days and could not get a fresh funnel cake made from scratch. I was recommended to free fall park. Let me tell you, Witney Funnel cake is soft and delicious. She was cooking alone and her area was very tidy. I went to see how she was making it and the oil was very clean and beautiful. The cashier was friendly, didn’t see her in a name tag so I do not know her name. But overall wonderful experience & will be coming again!

The slingshot was great but scary😂 The manager made me scared a bit when he tricked me saying that something needed to be screwed then BOOM, up in the air I went. OMG! I then went to get fried Oreos, it was so busy in the line and only one person working. The way she was working you would think it was about 5 persons in there with her. She was pleasant and everyone was patiently waiting. If y’all haven’t given her a raise, make sure y’all do. Thanks Free Fall.

Last time my daughter (who was 10 at the time) and I went to Myrtle, I talked her into going on the Slingshot with me. She was afraid of heights up till then and honestly she still is to a point. So getting her to go was a 3 day pep rally. But with the encouragement of myself and the staff, away we went! After exiting the launch pad the staff continued to tell her how proud they were of her, high-five'n her, clapping... I couldn't have had better experience. This time was the complete opposite. 1st we encountered the absolute most un-personable, unfriendly and miserable guys I've encountered in a while. I work in a prison and the Correctional Officers and I treat the inmates with more respect and are more personable with people who have done some horrible things... all we did was come to was drive down from O.I.B. and an hour out of our way to spend our money for another experience like we had the last time... and what we experienced was nothing short of and episode of "What Would You Do?"... I was seriously looking for a camera crew... well the camera didn't show up and after the way we were treated, the next time we're in town... I doubt we will either.

Love this church! Sad we only get to visit once a year on vacation but we plan our travel to ensure we can spend a Sunday worshipping together!

When I first moved to this area 10 years ago I began going to a different church. However, it was a very long drive after getting five children ready. So, we decided to try Valorous. I love this church. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. This is a church that doesn’t require you to “dress up”. It’s a come as you are church, which makes our family feel comfortable form the moment we arrive. The pastor, Pastor Clay, grabs your attention and delivers a message that can be understood without a college degree.

Barefoot Church is a great place to be. Pastors Clay & Kim are two amazing leaders who live what they preach. They have an awesome hospitality team. They make everyone feel like they belong and loved. If you are looking for a church family to belong to this is the place to be.

The community at this church is incredible. I’ve met so many amazing, Godly people here that have encouraged me as a Woman in Christ and taken steps to grow with me. Nothing but love for this Church <3

We love to visit this church when we are at the beach. Great worship using and message and all-inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. Great example of what heaven will look like one day. My kids go to kid's church and enjoy it too.

Everything pastor Clay teaches us ,we can apply to our life for christ,before we leave our church. I'm learning to love like Jesus ask us. and learn how to please God

I’m sorry but yelling at people because they wish to go in the sanctuary to pray and reflect before service is just not right. One cannot sit in the busy and noisy lobby and be quiet with God before the service. It is too distracting. But I tried to sit in the balcony as a volunteer and have some quiet time before the service. I was told to leave by a volunteer . I was actually accosted by another volunteer as I was leaving and when I would not engage with her, she started screaming that I was evil, evil, evil! I have to say that there were 30 or so volunteers in the main part of the sanctuary at this time all standing around talking to each other. There is something wrong with a church whose members chase after a volunteer calling them evil because they want to have quiet time in the balcony of the church before service.

My husband and I moved to South Carolina a little over a year ago. We right away prayfully started looking for a church. We went to several. We decided that Valorous was were God wanted us. We just love this church! We are getting more involved and love the pastors and people. Give Valorous church a try, we think you'll love it

My "Concert with GOD". If you need a pick me up and want to talk to GOD and feel blessed and loved, this is the place to be. Live bands and beautiful music with amazing singers. The sermons are always on point and don't ever put you to sleep. All denominations of Christianity and very diverse culturally and spiritually. Everyone is welcome. Our church just received a new name. Changed from Barefoot Church to Valorous Church. The name is very fitting. Google the meaning, much truth in the new name.

Free public access nature preserve featuring short trails and boardwalks. The walk takes one along the brackish marsh and inlet waterways where oysters find home on the muddy floor, while herons carefully search for food. Placards have been posted throughout the island to inform passerbys of the typical floura and fauna found in this unique biome. Pleasant experience. Parking is a block away in a municipal lot.

Enjoyed a nice morning walk here while on vacation. Well maintained trail, lots of informational plaques along the way. Suggest early AM or around dusk to see the most wildlife. Wear bug spray.

Great area, really beautiful expansive views. Loved seeing all the crabs and variety of birds. Only negative was the end of the marsh dock being closed due to damage. We will be returning!

Nice place for a walk. We saw little wildlife but being out walking next to the water and in the fresh air is priceless. Recommend wearing shoes. Not ideal for flip flops or sandals. Some of the walking path is boarded, the rest is just a worn sand path. A couple of places in the path had to be waded through. It is a beautiful place and looks to be expanding. I will definitely return.

Free parking, beautiful walk . So glad some of the original natural beauty has been saved.

Very easy walking trail. This is a short trail and well marked. Two dedicated picnic tables. One morning I saw two dolphin's, a mother and baby. Another morning I saw an otter. Photos are of a Double-crested comorant, Tri-colored Heron and White Ibis. There are an abundance of Morning Dove and Eastern Bluebirds.

Lovely nature preserve with water on two sides. Great place to spot Great Blue Herons and Great Egrets. Note: Parking for the preserve is located down the street, so you have to walk a bit before you get to the actual preserve. But there are sidewalks the whole way.

If you want to go hiking but don’t want to walk too far, the Heritage Nature Preserve is your place. A good place for your peace and quiet. Stay on the path though. There are tiny crabs you don’t want to accidentally step on.

I visited as a newbie to wildlife photography and if that is what you’re looking for be prepared to walk slowly and quietly. I was glad to have gotten a couple shots of various birds and crabs. Make sure to look all around you, there’s something around every corner, loved it.

We had the whole preserve to ourselves. Not another soul on the path, except the wildlife of course.

Wonderful park for a quick walk for us and the pup. Dedicated Nature Preserve Parking is at the North side of boat launch. Neat viewing platforms dispersed throughout Park. Make sure not to go at high tide or some parts of the trail might be flooded.

Nice short walk. Great boardwalks. Restrooms available near boat launch.

$4 PER HOUR to park here! Used to be free, and that's about what it's worth. We used to come here to grill or to launch kayaks. But that is in the past longer all of our happy memories at Cherry Grove. The city gods have taken all the phone out of going to the beach here. Will not be back.

My wife and I went down to help my sister celebrate her birthday this past weekend. She lives in North Myrtle Beach, SC at Cherry Grove. Upon arrival we had a little time to kill before she got off work so we found this place. It was a fun walk, very easy ( except for the heat! Lol! 🥵) Some pretty good views, nothing spectacular but a good way to pass an hour. 🏖️

Wonderfully peaceful. The crabs were fun to see. They're crawling everywhere. The herons were nice. Easy to walk trails. A lovely free place to visit while in town.

Parking is quiteca ways from entrance. Do have a bathroom area. A nice walk for kids. Nice area. There isn't a playground nor picnic areas. Literally just a few walking trails where you might see some wild life.

Very disappointed!! This is a one mile loop of mostly dead trees, brush and plants, some of them laying in the paths where someone could easily trip on them and fall. The worst part was NO parking except at Ocean BL, a good 20 minute walk from the preserve, which added another hour of parking fees to our bill, a total of $8.45 for 2 hours. There are three small parking areas close to the preserve and the boat dock, all with "parking for trailers only" signs. We called the phone number on the parking sign and he said the only place to park without a trailer was all the way at Ocean BL! And, by the time we passed the trailer parking area on our way to the preserve, there were numerous cars, even a golf cart parked there and no one was monitoring it! We tried to call the parking phone number afterwards to voice a complaint and no one answered...good luck if you are there with a problem and no one answers. We will NEVER be back and will most definitely NOT reccommend it to anyone!! Most definitely NOT worth your time or money. The MarshWalk in Murrells Inlet is much nicer and provides nearby parking, most of which is free.

Loved it. Small but interesting and informative. The kids loved dancing on the oak dance floor by the shag mural.

Awesome place to learn about the history of North Myrtle Beach. Kathy and Delores are super friendly and knowledgeable. There are so many great exhibits and a cute little gift shop too.

The Historical Museum had many artifacts of a bygone era: 50s/60s jukebox, newspaper printer, transistor radios, to name a few. The staff was quite informative, providing a history of the town and culture. I can't wait for my next visit! HPB/August 2021

Very cool museum. I only stopped to use the penny press machine, which was not available at the moment. The director was kind enough to take us to the store room to use it. There were classes going on & the museum looked to be full of things to see.

Awesome experience and exhibits the staff was super friendly and informative. Highly suggest checking out any visitors center or city history museum when on vacation. This was a very good experience and very family friendly.
