This was such a great way to learn about history. We did the tour guide with the Park Ranger and it was great. She lead us through what happened. The tour was about 45 minutes long. It is a great place to bring children. Since it is outdoors our boys could explore. The museum was very well done. There is also an interactive map that gives a layout of the battle.

Loved it! I am NOT a Civil War buff but I did enjoy the visit. They have a great film that is shown hourly. We also downloaded the audio and video clips from the park’s app. That helped to explain what we were seeing as we toured the battlefield.

I had an enjoyable experience exploring the battlefield on a Monday in early March. I took the walking tour with the ranger, I don’t remember his name but he was very knowledgeable and a great story teller. There was plenty of parking. Restrooms in the visitors center. I watched the movie after the walking tour. I drove to the stone bridge and the unfinished railroad sites because I was running out of time. You could definitely spend an entire day here.

This was a visit that brought a lot of history to life. To have been at the Battlefield Park at the end of September 2023, with the heavy clouds, was really a rich experience. I also purchased a two books from the book store, one of which is slave narratives.

I've come here multiple times to hike- it never fails to amuse me. Full of rich history everywhere. There are 2 places to park: one that is placed in the middle and there is the main parking. I like that the huge chunk of the area is preserved. You'll always find something new. There are various trails to choose from.

Fascinating testament to the stupidity of war. Many young men died on this field because some adults wanted to own people. Having said that, the artifacts on display give one a better understanding of the battles.

Manassas Battlefield Park is beautiful maintained. The Visitor Center is excellent. Highly recommend the movie prior to touring the Battlefield. Very clean restrooms. The gift shop has an excellent variety of books. Recommend doing the driving tour if this is your first visit. Recommend a visit to Mathew Hill to see the two naval 12 pound howitzers that was used during the battle.

Really beautiful place, especially considering the history here. It's amazing that something so brutal and bloody could happen at such a beautiful place. I'm a fan of history, from all periods and places. This place has a very informative museum; as well as buildings from the period, period cannons, a cemetery, and several monuments dedicated to the battle. This place is kept up really well, and because it's spread out over so many acres you don't have to worry about it being too crowded. I hope it's around for many years to come so that it can teach people about its' history.

The battlefield was beautiful! The park rangers and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. My only con was that the driving tour was not as easy for me to follow as it is in Gettysburg. But I would definitely recommend and return.

It was ok. Probably the most interesting part was the museum at the visitor center. There is one semi-trail walk, all in the sun, that goes around a field. One confederate statue, some cool cannons and a wooden house. Around 40 parking spots.

We took the grand kids to explore the battlefield. The guided tour was terrific. The ranger was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the battle, especially the context (our tour covered the 1st Battle of Bull Run). The visitor center has a great museum and the movie about the battles was extremely well done. I would caution that the scenes are very graphic and parents may want to discuss the movie before/after if your kids are 14 and younger.

We walked the 5.2 mile First Battle of Manassas Trail Loop. On the AllTrails app, it suggests the average walk time is 2 hours. Allot more time to stop and read the informative signs at the waypoints. It makes the trip more robust when you can understand what things are and the battles that were fought in the very place you are standing. The trail is well maintained, there are shortcuts along the way if you choose not to do the full loop, the bridge crossing Bull Run is out so we crossed through the water on rocks, and about half is in the woods (shaded) while the rest is out in the open. Be aware: the small parking lot was almost full when we arrived.

Interesting, historically accurate and moving. Gazing upon the area you can feel the spirit, the camaraderie and the dedication of the brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting for freedom.

This is a nice simple park to spend time at. There's a lot of history associated with it and they play a movie in the visitor center. The staff is friendly and there's a big parking lot. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you're in the area, it's certainly worth a visit. Would recommend!

Took the kids and got there early, did the educational film (45 min) in the visitor center, stamped passports etc and did the first Manassas loop. Took us about 2 hours (with kids) to do 4.5 miles so not bad. So much to see along the way, and the stone house was open so we got a nice little break to look around, talk to the rangers, and get their ranger pins.

Train station is basic but across the tracks is a coffee shop and some restaurants. Cute area. First time for me traveling by train and It's silly comfortable. Plenty of room. Could actually comfortably sleep. Can get up and walk up/down the train. Has a Dining car. Why do we not travel by train more often. This is great.

I only been on it once and i just didn't stand it. I just was tired of 25 hour. I rarely ate in there clearly i did went to the cafe. I taste only onw hot meal and it was taste bad in my opinion. PLEASE GET BETTER FOOD. I couldn't get enough space at my seat when it was time to sleep i was unconrtable and couldn't sleep it kinda not clean on the floors. The bathroom was smelled. I only thing i like was the wifi

Hard to find even though it looks like a train station. 9431 West Street Address is not posted on West Street. No "Amtrak" signs??? Signs say Visitor Center. Platforms on both sides of the street so difficult to figure out where to go. Visitor Center is nice and rest room was clean.

Lots of History and artifacts to help enrich our understanding of Manassas, how it was established, and the Amazing history of ALL the people that helped make Manassas a great place. There was a craft area next to the bathrooms to make their own pinwheel, lots of Christmas trees decorated by local schoolchildren, which made the museum smell so festive and lovely. We visited originally to check out the playground which is directly behind the museum and leads to a short trail. The boys enjoyed the train jungle gym and a little metal butterfly we snapped a photo next to. Out front is a huge Christmas tree. We plan to return at night to get a great holiday family photo.

The museum docents are great and the place has interesting things to engage both young and old alike. It was very nice to see that the Museum was also having a sale during our visit! I was honored to be among the many community leaders featured in their temporary exhibit of "Faces of Manassas".

We had a blast at Splashdown Waterpark this past Labor Day!! It was a holiday as well as the very last day of the park being open for the summer, so of course it was busy, but it was still a great fun filled day!! They were open from 12pm-6pm & we arrived at 11:30am & there was already a long line to wait in, but once they opened, the line moved quickly!! The crowd started to die down some & become less crowded around 2:30pm. The only thing I don't like is that you can not take in outside food or drink besides water & I understand they want to make money on their food & drinks, but it would be great if you were at least allowed to bring a cooler of drinks!! Also, they have a huge sign that states that you can only wear SWIM WEAR, which is what should be worn to a swimming pool & there were people there that were not wearing swim attire at all, like I get that some religions don't allow for them to show their bodies/skin I get it, but you could find something else to wear other than flannel pajama pants!! I just feel if you're going to have rules of no outside food or drink, that has to be strictly prohibited because it's a company posted rule, then I feel like ALL of the company posted rules should have to be followed!!

The prices are affordable. They open at noon and close at 6PM. The food is a bit expensive compared to other places. Pizza shop closed at 3PM for some reason we were forced to buy either burger or hot dogs or chicken strips. You can't have your own food which is understandable. They closed the shower room and restroom at 5:30 PM for cleaning so we couldn't used it. Is a good place for the family and the kids worth visiting from time to time.

Pretty fun day for the kids. They had top-notch lifeguards and supervisors all over the park. I was impressed with how in synch they were. We arrived just before opening on a Friday. We didn't wait long to get inside. There was plenty of seating in the sun and shade. Quiet little alcoves, big party cabanas, and picnic tables available for reservations. We got to bypass the bag check by only taking in our towels, goggles, and sunscreen. We went back to the car for our cooler of water. That's the only outside item you can bring in. Their concessions were fully stocked and reasonably priced. We got a variety of things, and everyone was satisfied enough to continue swimming. The separate pool areas are great for younger kids. It gives everyone space to play and test out their swimming and safety skills. It was nice letting my older kids play in the deeper pool while I had a safe space for my 6 year old to get comfortable with the water. We will definitely return in the future.

Had a great time at Splash down , this is a clean and inexpensive place to spend the day . The food was good and the staff was very friendly. Only a 45 minute ride from downtown DC it's a good getaway. Parking was adequate and the wait to get in wasn't as bad as the line appeared. Rule of thumb get there early because they close at 6pm.

We went there for memorial long weekend. We were there at 11.05 am (I.e the opening time) but little crowded at that time. Lots of parking but only limited rides but kids would definitely enjoy this place. I have spent a lot of time in lazy rides and pipeline rides. It would be nice if we have more slide length in cannonball ride. All the pools are clean and well maintained and worth for $16. We will be coming back again for another visit

This is a nice community water park. The Staff was friendly. It was very crowded on the day I went and it was hard to find a place to sit. The head lifeguard was polite and went and found a spot for us to sit. The lazy river was a little less lazy for my. If your looking for a place to cool off on a hot summer day and your in the area. Take a dip.

Splash Down was an amazing experience. I enjoyed it. My kids enjoyed it. My God kids enjoyed it. Overall I recommend this place 10 out of 10. It’s a lot of fun great food. friendly prices I would recommend this to all families that love the pool.

I love going here. The lazy river is by far the best part of the water park. It is kid friendly. Water slides for all age groups. Recommend that you get there early to reserve a spot or go online to reserve a spot. A very nice decent place to have fun for all ages. And the food there is delicious hands down.

It has been years since I attended. My fam and I used to be regulars and their Lazy River was one of the most fun and relaxing experiences of my life. Then, I had the pleasure of leading groups of children there and SplashDown was VERY accommodating and were used to handling groups. Please check to see when/if they will reopen.

It is a nice Waterpark. There are a few things I thought made 0 sense, like exiting the lazy river from one side then having to walk around the park to get back to it and wait to have a staff pull a lone floaty to use??? The line to the lazy river was ridiculous at at times because there were no floaty available. Also, there were way too many leaves in the lazy river; I loved the trees, but hated the leaves in water.. The food was ok, as you can't bring food into the park, so have to buy food in the park. Overall, decent park

I strongly recommend that you bring your own, semi-delicious food and take the family to the car or anywhere else to have lunch and renter for free. My experience every time is that the food lines are usually pretty long 45 min just to order... there food is over prices and simply gross. This is a nice way to spend a family day. I truly enjoyed the Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra. This was my first time. The center doesn't serve food just $3 snacks. I will return 2/19/22 for the Ballet Hispanico. I went 2/19/22 the ballet was fabulous

Attending Prince William Association of Realtors EXL Conference which was held at Hylton Performing Arts Center. It’s a lovely modern venue. Two story entry. Conference rooms were spacious. There is an elevator as well as a wheelchair accessible ramp to the second floor. Restrooms are large, clean and modern. Overall a very nice venue.

We saw a very nice show with my friend and her kids it was most spectacular and the place is most spacious and comfy and no matter where you are seated you have a nice view of the stage and the staff was most friendly.

The theaters are set up to hold small to large audiences. We enjoyed Sistas: The Musical while we visited. The seating was comfortable and the sound was good. We really enjoyed the show and venue.

From intimate concerts to grand productions, every show is a treat for the senses. The staff is courteous, and the venue is well-maintained. A must-visit for any arts enthusiast!

Great facility for a show. Elevators were pretty busy so we ended up taking the grand stairs a few floors up. Found our seats in the box. Next time for a kids show, I'll choose seats down further... better perspective (wont show puppeteers) and safer (was worried about my 3 year old getting too close to the railing).

This is a great venue. The seats are large enough and comfortable. I'm always worried about not being able to see a performance because the people in front of me may be too tall. I been to this theatre about 10 times. I sat in various places in the orchestra and balcony and have never had a bad seat. I have always been able to sit comfortably and see the performances. Parking is free, and the performances are high quality.

Hylton Performing Arts Center is a great Venue to see different live performances. I've been there several times to see different things. It's nice and clean, the staff are friendly. One thing is Parking isn't always the best so make sure you get there early. Ticket prices are reasonable. And they offer a lot of for Military. I just recently saw CAMMO voices for free. Was an amazing concert.

Attended for a children's play Dot Dot Dot. It was excellent. The facility is wonderful. I've been wanting to attend for a long time and haven't made it until now. I'll definitely be back for more performances

It's a great theatre for local shows. Well laid out so all the seats have a good view. Parking is free and it's right off 234, so easy to get to.

We went to a performance with an elementary school field trip and it was excellent! The performance was professional and fun and the ushers and other people who helped bring our group inside were clear with instructions and very patient with a ton of little kids. Great time overall!

I've gone as both a performer and an audience member. As a performer, it's a very nice stage with lovely dressing rooms and clean bathrooms. As an audience member, the seats are usually great no matter where you sit, the sound is awesome, and obviously the stage performances themselves are always an enjoyable experience.

Fantastic place for families. We enjoyed the live music, food was definitely over-average, pizza was delicious and pretzels were awesome! I’m removing one star just because, with so many people constantly there, the kids playground may be bigger and nicer, to avoid become quickly too crowded.

I would say the only thing that made me give 4 out of 5 instead of 5 stars would be no XXL T-shirts available for purchase & it would be nice if there were more vegan food options. Whats a fun place! For both adults and kids. I think it’s very well layed out. There is plenty of parking on both sides. When we leaving it seemed it got busier and people were parking on the side of the road. There is a playground and plenty of space for the kids to play and run. We ordered beers, chicken wings, pizzas and the Mac and cheese for my son. Pizzas were amazing. The mac and cheese needed a bit more flavor. The pretzel was good and big enough for everyone to have a piece. You place your order for food onside. They get your phone number because you will receive a text when your order is ready. You have to walk back to where you ordered to pick up your food. You can leave a tab open and order drinks from anywhere. Now let’s talk about the seating. There are high bar communal tables. Then there’s the table on the back. I noticed people come to celebrate different things here which is amazing, a great place for it. But found it a bit of a bummer that people just had their belonging on the table and no longer consuming. We were at our table for like 30-40 minutes and that table with presents and no one around. But once you have your place to eat you enjoy your food and the kids enjoy playing. Win, win! If there’s room for dessert you can grab an ice cream at the red truck.

It’s an impressive compound but they need Jon Taffer to come in and organize it! There’s live music, drinks, food, fire pits, and play areas for kids. However, where 2 Silos falls short is in the food/service area. In my opinion any brewery that serves its beer in plastic cups just doesn’t respect their craft. The limited food options are served in the same unappealing way, in paper cartons with small plastic plates. The seating is a free for all and there’s no servers. So, we sat at a table and looked over the menu. Then, you have to go to a counter to order. By the time we were done ordering, other people were already sitting where we had been sitting. Their whole dining concept is just odd to me. I would recommend eating elsewhere then stopping here to listen to music and have a drink.

Incredible venue with a variety of food trucks, entertainment throughout the week, great beer, and the pizzas are phenomenal. The atmosphere is incredible with heated sitting area inside and out. Can't wait to come back down from Rochester, NY to visit 2 Silos again.

We visited this Brewery on Saturday evening. The environment was very lively. Live music outdoor seating and indoor seating both are good. Lot of good food options and beers as well.

Great spot, can't even lie. The food was definitely a 10/10 with a combination of the beer, it was 20/10! First time here and will definitely be back. The beers are reasonable price, food as well. They have a spot where you can play corn hole FREE 99 (as long as you give them your ID)

Always enjoy coming here. Great for families because there is a huge green area for the kids to run around, and there is a playground for the smaller kids to enjoy. Beer seems to be getting progressively better. I remember coming here when it first opened and thinking it was good but not great. Now it's good enough I'd want to bring a couple of growlers home with me. Also the food options are fantastic. There a several food trucks permanently on site that can satisfy whatever you're craving, and the food at the restaurant itself is really good. There is also an ice cream truck strategically placed next to the playground. Basically there is something for everyone. You will certainly not be disappointed.

Did not realize this is a massive compound. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon, however, service was efficient and smooth. There was a small issue with one of the apps, but they immediately offered a replacement. Prices are also fair. Will definitely return if I’m ever in the area again.

We came when Troy Breslow was playing and they did a great job! They had some indoor seating and the outdoor seating all has heaters and even an outdoor fireplace! Plenty of bathrooms as well

This place is like the Disneyland of Breweries! Something for everyone from kids to Adults. Lots of space. Lines get a little long when busy but the staff try and move them as fast as possible! 10/10 recommend going.

An hour outside of D.C. is a campus for everyone. A brewery, a top-rated restaurant, an ice cream truck, a playground, yard games, and a stage with live music, there’s something for everyone. Meeting friends who live in Virginia, my family of three went at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday in September. Here’s our experience. 1) Space: It’s a monster of a campus with plenty of free parking. There’s seating inside and even more outside in different areas. Dogs are allowed outside until 8 p.m. so we brought our puppy. My six-year-old daughter loved the playground and small hill nearby where kids were rolling down. The yard games were also a hit. (You need to get bean bags inside.) Even though it was filling up, we easily found an outdoor table that sat our group of seven. 2) Drinks: A brewery onsite, there are many types of beer on tap. Being a sour guy, I got the Strawberry Kiwi Sour. Honestly, it was among the worst sours I’ve had. It didn’t taste sour at all, but more hoppy. My wife enjoyed her IPA though. 3) Food: The menu includes pizzas, nachos, wings, and more. Ordering around 5:30 p.m., some of the items were $2 off. We got a cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, wings, the trio dips, and nachos. Nothing was noteworthy, but our daughter liked the cheese pizza. The ice cream truck sold average ice cream and charges 75 cents for toppings like sprinkles (whipped cream and a cherry are complimentary). 4) Amenities: The live music was a good touch. It wasn’t so loud that it drowned out conversations, but added great background noise. Kids were dancing and enjoying the vibe.

This is a little hidden gem. If your looking for a great place to have a great time with the entire family. This is a great choice! Good food, great beer and a lot of things to do. They also have a stage outside for live music and events! This place really rocks though. Check their website to verify if it’s your type of music that day is or night! May or May not be what you like. It is a hard place to beat though.

Celebrated party! 10/10 on live music, sound quality better than night club or indoor venue. Fact that they have outdoor music with a good crowd always. Food was a good. I like how it didn't smell like smoke. Places that do stink and air was so clean. Very professional. Good investment 👍 will come back many more times. My friends keep inviting me already.

This site has two claims to history. It operated as a field hospital during the Battle of Bull Run, fought only a mile from this house. Additionally, it is a plantation that dates to the 1830’s. There are not many plantations where the slave cabins are intact; however, this is one. While here, take a look at the photos detailing the logistical hurdles of relocating the cabins. This house is remarkably well-preserved for being nearly 200 years old. Dave Born gave us a great tour. Be sure to ask for a guided tour. Also, if it is summertime, check out the beautiful gardens while you are here.

You can walk around the property for free, don't. Instead spend the five ($5} dollars per head and get a guided tour. You'll get so much more information in a fun and engaging way. It's worth every penny.

Our tour guide was super informative but not boring! He kept it interesting for sure, the building itself is a sight to see but to hear how everything unfolded there is super cool. My wife and I absolutely loved it, they aren't joking when they say hear see smell! One room had a barnyard scent to it which was decent but the medical room had gangrene as the scent and oh boy, do not I repeat do not get in close to take a smell of that one you WILL lose your appetite for quite a while. But it added to the feel and atmosphere if what stories were being told at the time, for the price (5$ a head) it's well worth it please stop by if you are in the area you won't regret it.

Cool site. It’s very short but is interactive and would be fun for kids. It was a good follow up after visiting the Manassas Battlefield.

First time at Heritage Brewery in Manassas and I'm already in love! 😍 The bartenders were amazing and the lemon lime seltzer 🍋🍈 was out of this world! Highly recommend trying it and can't wait for them to release it in cans 🤞. The open atmosphere was perfect and the live music 🎶 by Bobby G and The Heavies made it even better! Definitely coming back for more! 👌

More unique beers here than other breweries. Had a Scotch ale for the first time here and now I think I have a new favorite! So enjoyed hanging out here and the Louisiana Boys Food truck. Went to hear Delta Spur and stayed and made some new friends. I am not a huge beer drinker, but the bartenders made some great recommendations to go along with the craw fish and gumbo. Very very good.

Amazing service, beer, and entertainment! Stopped by and this veteran owned business knocks it out of the park. They have a wide variety of beers and a few selections of seltzers. My favorite was one of their flagship beers, FREEDOM ISN’T FREE IPA”. I can’t wait to come back!

Awesome bar in Manassas! Great beer with a good truck out front some days. You can also buy beer in a growler or a 4 pack, and Bonnie the bartender was awesome and very informative. I loved the atmosphere and seeing local music, and there is plenty of parking and outside seating with a smoking area. Definitely check it out if you are in the Manassas area!

Great brewery! Always full of friendly people and the bar staff is awesome. Some of the best beers around - and definitely the best hard seltzer. On the weekends there are always great food trucks and fun local bands.

Spent a Saturday evening there two weeks ago and it was such a great time. The place was lively with great music and people, and the burgers from the impact food truck were delicious. Definitely recommend the Kings mountain scotch ale and the house orange seltzer on tap.

Played here with the Northern Virginia Firefighters Emerald Society Pipe Band today after the Manassas St. Patricks Day Parade. I ordered the Scottish Ale and was pleased to find it tasted like a Scottish Ale should. Tentatively, I ordered a Black Pearl Porter. It tasted like a porter…no chocolate, peanut butter ,rapserry, nor other extra flavors so many other craft breweries try to put in their porter to make it “unique”. I will be back sample the rest of their line. So rare these days to find a craft brewery which has the courage and confidence in their skill to make quality brews that qualify as excellent examples of the style of beer without the gimmicks. Well done.

I was there last night to see Crossroads they were AWESOME and the beer was good but food truck left 15min after the band started. I came there to listen to music, drink beer and eat. Had to settle for salty popcorn.

Signal Bay Park is a gorgeous place to go to. Open with lots of sitting places and lots of nature. If you're trying to social distance you can easily have a picnic without getting too close to your loves ones. The geese are very welcoming as well. Check out the pictures to get a sense. The water park was not open in February.

Great place for a walk in the park! :) this past week they repaved the walkways and it looks great. There’s a place for kids to play, parents to walk, and teams to compete.

Very nice place to take the kids on a hot day. There is no food for sale but you are allowed to bring food from outside. There isn’t a big swimming pool, only a nice lazy river. This place is great for families with your kids. There is a nice playground outside the pool are where you can take the kids to play. Also around the parking lot there are a few grill with tables where you can have a nice cookout after the pool.

Had my grandbabys bday party hear at the park in the pond area. Lots of tree stumps near the area but it was great. For the elderly be careful. Also a crab apple tree there so bees were out in force. We even had a moonbounce.Bathroom quite a ways away but nice walk.Beautiful spot tho!

This is really a water park for kids. There is just a shallow area with small slides and a jungle gym, plus a lazy river. It's nothing near as much or as big as Atlantis or Splashdown. That said, I came with kids and they had a great time. Just don't expect big slides or deep water for the grownups. Adults can ride an inner tube around the lazy river and that's pretty much it. Since I'm a lazy person, that was about right for me. We tried to play on the playground after, but it was all graffitied and cordoned off. Not sure if they have plans for that, but it looked terrible as it was.

Good to go. I enjoyed the park without unsupervised kids running around. Liked that the lifeguards were making people who didn't have inner tubes get out of the lazy river. Unlike Splahdown, where the lifeguards there let engine and everyone walk in the lazy river no tube. Like the fact you can bring your own food and drink. Over-all, I nice place to go. I'll be back

We travelled 4 hours to get here and I think it was such a great experience we shall return We’ve had a church gathering (The Light of The World) last year and now again this year and we look forward for our third annual event ‼️ so I guess we’ll be seining you next year Very nice place also has easy access Definitely a park to visit‼️ So come one, come all you won’t regret.

Took my grandkids there last summer and we had a great time, spent the entire day in the lazy river and ate lunch at the picnic area. Only complaint was the bees. I wish they would put something up to attract the yellow jackets.

Perfect for our 6 and 3 year olds. Not so big that they get lost but not so small that they get bored. Really cute.

I don't know if older kids would enjoy this waterpark, but our 4yo twins had a blast. It was perfect for them and they loved that they were tall enough to be in every pool. The main play area is 1ft deep with the zero entry baby side being much more shallow. The lazy river and the obstacle course were 3ft deep. To ride in the lazy river, kids have to be 43" or taller. There's a little measuring stand before you enter the river, but I never saw the lifeguards check or enforce this rule. My kids loved the obstacle course and because they weren't quite capable of guiding themselves on the rope, we were allowed to jump into the pool to help guide them along the obstacles. We went early on a Sunday not long after opening, and it was wonderfully empty until about 1pm. We easily found chairs and a nice shady spot under a huge umbrella to set up camp. When we left around 330 it was pretty crowded (LOTS of birthday parties) and we noticed the parking lot was beyond capacity with many cars parked on the side of the road and in the grass despite the no parking signs. In the morning and early afternoon, there was a little food truck trailer outside selling food and drinks, but we didn't see it when we left. We didn't realize beforehand that you could bring coolers into the park, but as they don't sell concessions, bringing your own provisions is a must. The only other downside to Signal Bay is that the bathrooms weren't very well-maintained throughout the day. During the hourly lifeguard breaks, they do clean up the pool and water, but it doesn't seem like they address the bathrooms. Overall, if you have little kids, especially kids who aren't quite ready for big waterpark slides, this is the perfect waterpark! It's a couple steps up from a splashpad, but not a full-blown park with water slides - and the admission price reflects that. Our kids loved that they could explore independent of us and us parents appreciated that there were lifeguards that acted as extra sets of eyes.

Tried to go there on Wednesday, 1 November. Hours posted that they open at 4 pm. Sat outside at 4 pm along with a delivery truck trying to deliver something to them. We waited 10 minutes. No one opened the doors. No one answered the phone. Nothing on their website to say they weren’t open today. The delivery driver left and we did shortly after

I was in the area on a visit from Rhode Island. Was super excited to see a Whovian brewery only to be disappointed by a sign on the door that said Closed Today. No date and it looks to have been there for some time. Wish there was some sort of info on Facebook or the website so I didn't waste the gas going 40 mins off my route.

Feel bad to write a not so great review. My buddy that lives in the area consistently talked up this brewery for its great beers (I live in PA). Stopped by and the beers where literally undrinkable. No matter the type of beer, they all tasted like pool water. Not sure if they use chlorine to sanitize equipment (a brewing 101 mistake), but they tasted really bad. Spend over $20 in beer that I could only get one sip in on each. Hoping this was a fluke bad day.

A great hidden spot for good, truly unique beers! My fav so far has been their Java IPA; never had a coffee-based IPA before and now I'm surprised I don't see the style more often. Their flights are bigger than most breweries so you can get your fill with just a flight and find a new fav beer. Looking forward to coming back to this brewery again, they've changed drastically compared to their sour-only style years ago.

Great community place! Love their peanut butter porter because it's not sweet but has great flavor.

As a Doctor Who fan, I'm mad at myself for not figuring out the theme of this place until I walked in the door! Service was excellent, beer was tasty, prices were great. The venue itself is a little small, but they have a nice outside area set up for when it gets crowded.

During my 3-day stay here the city of Manassas Virginia unquestionably is a testament to our societies potential of coexistence, harmony and togetherness. Every person encountered had a smile on their face, high level of disposition and our friendliness. Many memories were had and I will tell others about this wonderful city. I will make it a point, at some point in the future, to visit again!

This dreamy little town center is quaint enough for a romantic weekend, family gathering or unconventional business conference. Go here and be considerate -- we would like nice places to remain nice.

Came for the Amtrak train ride on the Crescent. The simple "unmanned", air conditioned, inside waiting area was pleasant with two opposite benches. Rest rooms available . It appears the waiting room is automatically locked later in the evening. There is the cozy Jirani Coffeeshop directly across the tracks while you wait. Amtrak train ride was somewhat of a disappointment. Train arriving extremely late. At least I was able to receive the train status over my phone. Comfortable seats but not the smoothest ride. Amtrak really needs to modernize their passenger trains. The regional VRE trains seem to be in better shape.

We enjoyed volunteering for the Souperbowl event. Will be doing it again next year for sure. Everyone who worked the event was very pleasant & helpful to getting us checked in & guided in the right direction. Loads of fun & so many wonderful people who attended. ♥

Lovely place for a walk. Went to Saturday Farmers Market. Great produce and more! There are vendors of all kinds. PWC forest rangers were offering information on keeping our forests free of pests like the Lanternfly. They also sell plants, food, pastries.

Train station is like a stepping back in time moment. Just have to close your eyes and imagine all those who came before you. All the many varied destinations they would've traveled to by rail.

Shopping, Museums, Parks and many other things are part of this beautiful place. Worth the trip and expenses. Be ready to take lots of pictures!

What a cozy and beautiful spot! I was surprised to see a lovely party/hosting space too. Their drinks are top notch, depending on how much you wanna spend of course. Bourbon is my thing and the Single Barrel bourbon is so smooth and excellent price. I want to go back to try their cocktails. They had a bourbon maple egg nog with cinnamon bitters, sounds amazing. I took 1 star away since the person pouring small tasters for me was a bit impatient with my lack of knowledge. My guess is they expect people coming in to know enough (which I typically do), but I was a bit foggy minded and tired when I came in. I'll definitely be coming back with some friends. Thanks KO.

The staff, cocktails, tour, and atmosphere were all great! A very informative tour by Greg, and just a friendly and happy bunch of staff. Larry was wonderful, we talked with him for quite some time before we left. The drinks were delicious. Tables were well spaced apart, and cleaned thoroughly after each couple/small group left. Will certainly be back again soon.

On a cold day, the fireplace will warm your body and the gin will warm your soul. I honestly hated gin until I tried theirs. Everyone here is absolutely awesome! I can't say enough good things about the place and I'm sure you'll be as effusive. P.S., if you ever thought you knew anything about liquor or the science of alcohol, talk (or better yet, listen) to Greg; the man is an ambulant storehouse of knowledge on all things Bacchanalian. Place is nice and good to relax in the neighborhood. I'm subtracting starts because of the quality of their cocktails is not what it used to be. When they first opened cocktails were amazing, loaded and best in class. Recently i been very disappointed..drinks are weak and expensive. Please go back to early Quality!

This place is the absolute worst distillery I have ever been to. My wife I liked forward to spending the day here on our vacation maybe one of my last, as I was just diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure after retiring from the military I enjoyed collecting small batch craft bourbons. Upon arriving we were met with nothing but rudeness on a level I’ve never experienced. We are from Oklahoma and most people are friendly but this was crazy. We understand people sometimes have a bad day but this was something else. Makes me wonder the morals and values that lead this company. Don’t spend your money here

My parents and I had a great time at KO distilling today. Not only was the bourbon and whiskey fantastic, so was the service. Greg was very friendly and did an excellent job describing all of our drinks and explaining the intricacies of whiskey chemistry. I’m looking forward to returning with more family and friends.

It was awesome... do the tour . So many great spirits to try but you have just 3 oz to do it with. From the bartender, to tour aficionado to owner, they are wonderful folks. It's a must on the to do list. Get the Spanish dancers cocktail while it's still available and a must try single barrel rye...you will be planning your next trip back before you leave. Enjoy!!!

Great little distillery here with extremely good wheat, rye, Bourbon, and gin liquors. It's not a large place so if you have a large group be sure to make reservations, especially if your going to take a tour. They don't have a kitchen but I did see some munchies on my way out so keep that in mind as you're drinking.

I had an amazing time tasting the wonderful spirits produced here. My favourite was the wheat bourbon, but they are all pretty good. We took a tour with one of the founders, which was so awesome. I'll be back again for more sipping goodness soon!

Such kind and welcoming people belong to this parish. As a mom of two young kids, it’s such a relief to not be judged when they are having a moment at Mass. Several times during toddler issues, strangers have offered help in such a compassionate and non judgmental way. We are so glad to be members of this Catholic family and highly recommend others to join.

It had mementos from the different wars. The guide was very knowledgeable and informed us that most of the things in the museum were donated by servicemen/women who were originally from Manassas.

My mom and me found about this museum and went to visit it one day. It is amazingly detailed museum about American military history. I was very impressed by one gentleman, who I can only assume was a vet volunteering, who knew a lot of details about one of the displays. And the displays were first class but also focused a lot on the Home Front which is a nice change of pace. I took lot of photos and learned a lot about local history as well. And the whole visit was very pleasant. It was amazing just how much they put into the space they had available!

My wife and I are visiting my daughter in Manassas for the holidays and came across this great small military history museum right in downtown Manassas. The gentleman that gave us an excellent and very informative tour was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war. The entire staff were friendly and enthusiastic. We had a great time and highly recommend to anyone if you are visiting this lovely small town.

This museum is just incredible. I completely enjoyed learning about the history and loved seeing all the authentic artifacts they have displayed! Can’t wait to go back !

Was only able to spend a few minutes inside due to poker run getting underway but for the few minutes, WOW to see actual apparel from wars gone by was unbelievable especially coming around a corner and seeing life size mannequins wearing military uniforms caused one to stop in your tracks. I will be going back to spend a lot more time there. Not to mention the people there, all volunteers, were very gracious and friendly.

As a veteran this museum tells a story you dont find that often. The artifacts they have tell a story of real events and real people some that gave the altamont sacrifice to keep out country free. No matter who you are what back ground you have this museum you surely will find educational and enjoy with the whole family.

Welcoming art gallery. I'm from out of state and don't go to any art galleries. We came to view our nieces artwork. I am sharing other art photos taken as well. We didn't call ahead, and they were closing soon after we got there, and I around 12pm, for a staff meeting. We should have called to make sure they were open. I would suggest that for anyone else. Very kind people!

My first time there. Oh my goodness. Didn't know that I was missing out on a hidden gem! I've lived here for 30 years and a friend's performance in a play brought me front and center. It's lovely, quaint, and even intimate! I saw the play and an art exhibit! Boy, oh boy, if you are in the neighborhood swing on by, you'll be glad you did! Oh, and the staff were amazing too!

The quality of the dance classes there is outstanding. The people are very nice. It's not crowded. The location is very convenient. Plenty of fee parking nearby.The building itself has huge rooms with the original wood floors and a ton of windows.

I've been taking art classes at the Center for the Arts for a little over a year now and I'm so glad I found them! The staff is so friendly and they genuinely love and appreciate the Arts and have helped me improve my skills so much. The classes are great if you're looking for something fun to do in your spare time or if you're looking to expand your knowledge and skills for your art career.

The walk is a gentle slop and is ADA accessible. There is a bike rack at the bottom of the hill near the parking lot. There are no restrooms and only a few park benches at the top. The park benches sit really low, which could make it hard for some to stand up.

We took the participants of our summer program to visit. They did not know this was even there in their community. The entrance is marked (although a bit hidden). Once inside the paths are clear and markers are very informative. Well worth a day visit.

Honest review: I didn't know what to expect. At the entrance, you see a sign and go up a wooded path uphill. I was disappointed with what I saw: a "hill" with a cannon on it, some "stick fence" and a few signs in a circle. I mean, this is "historical"? A big hill? I guess technically yes it is historical, but very very underwhelming. No buildings, nothing that will wow you or interest you. Maybe it's good for a walk or exercise but that is about. it. Then there is a small path to an area covered with trees and a cemetery. The whole thing is a big whoppee doo of nothing. Big let down. Giving it two stars because you walk and get exercise, but as a "historical site" it gets 0.01 stars.

Interesting little known civil war fort hidden off the main road. The walk to the fort was up a reasonably steep hill but nothing too crazy. At the top were the remains of the earthworks along with historical signage and some cannons. Also at the top was a cool cemetery and home site which I didn't know was there. Overall the park was reasonably clean (some trash) and very informational.

Hidden piece of that Civil War. Short hike (300 yards) all paved. Slight incline, so might take a while to push a wheelchair or stroller. A couple of signs and a replica cannon are located at the top of the path.

There is so much to see here this does take more then one visit here i been here 6 times each time i come here there is always something new to see and learn.this a great place for the hole family, an if you a history buff
