Loved the mountains!!! If you have time wished I did would loved to explore the surrounding trails. Very beautiful place. Peaceful and relaxing. We came through on a week day so traffic was good. If you see people with cameras and huddled you may be in for Elk seeing!!!

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park provided my family and me with an unforgettable experience of natural beauty and tranquility. LOVE the Smoky Mountains!! It’s a must see during all the seasons especially summer and fall! Plenty of pull offs for picture taking, enjoying the scenery and hiking. We live less than 2 hours away and frequent here several times a year and we still can’t get enough of the beauty! Also great towns all around with plenty to do and eat!

What can one say about a National Park? More than I can type here. Everywhere we went was kept very clean and had no issues. The hiking trails are generally well kept and safe. The rest areas have clean bathrooms and the roads are excellent. We enjoyed our time in the southern part of the park very much and will be back again. Be ready to use your brakes and steering wheel a lot while traveling the mountainous roads!

One of our greatest National Parks to be sure! The Elk are out in full force this year! Such a beautiful sight to see. Did you know…? A parking pass is now required for anyone sitting still for more than 15 minutes. The passes can only be obtained in the park at the visitor’s centers by kiosk with a credit/debit card

It was so spectacularly beautiful! Cade's Cove was awesome! We saw a couple of bears, deer, and other small critters. Loved the stops at the churches, cemeteries, and home/farm remnants from the 1800s settlement. My old phone doesn't do it justice. Can't wait to return to this part of Tennessee!

We really enjoyed our short trip here. Our first time, so we were just taking in the beauty of nature. The visitors center was great and many gifts for sale at reasonable prices. The staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. We can't wait to come back and explore much more with weather that is a tad warmer. It was 23 degrees the day we went, but barely noticed with all the surrounding beauty to behold!!

This is an amazing park with so much to do. It’s no wonder the park is packed in the summer. We were here in the spring, mid-April, and it was amazing. The green undergrowth was amazing and provided an assuredly different view than if we’d gone in summer or fall. The park staff was amazing at each encounter, especially the volunteers. Every hike we did provided different experiences and views to enjoy. And best of all, despite all we did there was so much we didn’t do and look forward to future returns to tick those things off. If you’re planning a visit, be sure to pick up the guide pamphlets for $1 or so each, the wealth of information is amazing in helping to plan your experience. There are also plenty of picnic areas to choose from, so packing a lunch to enjoy at them is a great idea. We can’t wait to go back.

Great smoky mountains National Park if full of adventures. A few days are not enough to explore its beauty and vastness. We could see some great sites and will definitely come back to see more. Good infrastructure in the area. Various options of accommodations for all prices range from cheapest to higher side. It is difficult to express my feelings here. It is a must go site for people loving fun and exploring mesmerizing nature out there.

Due to its size, this national park offers so much to do and explore. From quick hikes and glamping for weekend warriors to more rugged outdoor activities for more experienced people. I didn't want to leave. It has to be one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I've ever been. I cannot say enough about the place. The only wildlife that we saw were a few turkeys and geese but it was still a beautiful place and experience. If you haven't been, you should plan to go. ❤️❤️

Popping fall colors! Spent Halloween at a cabin, tucked away in the Smoky Mountains. Beautiful scenery! Def recommend the hiking trail to Laurel Falls, easy for beginners and families. So happy we saw Mama bear & 3 cute cubs close to our cabin!

Besides the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, we encountered a herd of 23 female Elk who just crossed a nearby stream to graze in the nearby freshly growing grass. My Grandson, wife, and 2 young children stood behind that old rugged fence watching quietly and in awe of these beautiful animals. At one startlingly moment, I turned around, and not 6ft. from in back of us, stood this gigantic male bull staring at us. We all froze hanging onto the fence, and prayed, as the3 and 5 yr old sat on their parents shoulders. I had on a bright green jacket and could feel and hear him breathing on it. Thank God, the kids were warned in time to be extremely quiet. 🙏🏼 Thankfully, the big guy left as quietly as he came. My Grandson was in tears as he explained that through the corner of his eye he could see the big Elk back up behind me and put his head, huge antlers down in an attack mode. THANK GOD, I guess he realized we weren't a threat to his Harem of some pregnant females,and slowly walked away. I asked my Grandson if he was able to get a picture of him. He said, Gram, I didn't dare move an inch. I thought we were going to have to take you to the hospital, or worse!!!!! SMART THINKING 🤔 👍 SO, as you enjoy the beauty of the land, also be aware of the dangers that could creep up on you!!!!! God Bless!!!!!

The views were good but when we reached there the peak was over. So I could not see the best of fall colors. We did not go to top of mountain we covered half way. In some places there is elevation. There are small walkway bridges which are very good and best for taking our pictures.

GSM is an absolutely beautiful preservation of the mountains. The trails, picnic videos and ranger stations we visited were all maintained, clearly marked, accessible and fun to visit. Trails along the creeks were especially beautiful. Driving, walking or hiking are all great ways to experience the views. Most trails and wildlife areas in the region are park of the park, so buying a parking or visiting pass is a good idea. They are mostly reasonable at around $5.

If you're looking for authentic Southern dining in a natural country setting, this is a great choice! We loved our table overlooking the apple orchard with mountains in the background, as well as the rustic menu with specialties like chicken and dumplings and country fried steak. We ordered fried chicken, along with homemade mashed potatoes, slaw and fried apples from the orchard. All of it was mouthwatering! The service was friendly and efficient as well. Don't forget to visit the barn on your way out for an array of fruits, jams and other products.

We have stopped here many to eat since 2003. The food is exceptional. The host and waitress are very friendly. Carvers is a family owned business with consistent quality and service. This is a must stop when you are in or around Gatlinburg.

WOW, if you like fresh, home-cooked food, produce, candy, fritterss, & beautiful scenery, stop at Carver's! The fried chicken was hot, fresh & juicy. The homemade vegetable soup was heart-warming. Sides of fried apples & salad w/ranch were also delicious. The cobbler was perfection! After eating at the wonderful restaurant overlooking the orchard & enjoying the lovely views, we visited the old-fashioned candy shop, as well as, the store for jams, jellies, syrups, ciders, nuts, fresh pies, apples & produce. All in all, a wonderful experience! Hours are 11am-5pm!!!

We always find a great variety of apples and produce. The people on the floor are exceptionally knowledgeable about which variety is best for what you want. The restaurant is so popular! You can fill up on homemade cooking.

Our food was delicious. Highly recommend stopping here to eat, then walk around a bit before continuing your trip. The views are beautiful and refreshing. There is a large store selling all kinds of fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, and lots of other delicious things. There is a very nice candy store with lots of your candy favorites and many you couldn't even imagine. I highly recommend stopping by even if you have to go a little out of the way.

Always worth the trip. Local, family owned and run. Great food and friendly hospitality in the dining room. Knowledgeable staff and a variety of local products in addition to produce and APPLES. So many varieties. I like trying different varieties and will buy several bags of different kinds. Apples will keep a long time. Stop if you are in the area and make the trip if you are not.

*Update* Returned with family on 12/21/22. Restaurant wasn't too busy. I had the chicken and dumplings and the rest of my family had the fried catfish. The dumplings were great and everyone else said the catfish was delicious and not to bother using the tartar sauce - not needed. Also purchased another apple to try from next door. For us at least, the ever crisp apple turned out to be a very tasty choice! Picked up a pack of fried peanuts to try as well - good - taste like roasted peanuts. Original review: Visited after 3 p.m. on a Thursday in October.  We were surprised at just how busy they were. We decided to get our shopping over with before sitting down to eat. They have an amazing selection of apples and, even though they were short-staffed and busy, several employees offered assistance and to answer any questions we might have. We explained that we were looking for a good snacking apple and what we typically liked and she recommended the carousel and cosmic crisp apples. We purchased both, along with some tomatoes and a purple bell pepper to try. The restaurant was clean, well maintained and beautifully nestled within the orchard and surrounding mountains. We were seated promptly next to one of the windows (beautiful views), orders taken and food served in a timely manner with a friendly smile and service. I enjoyed the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried apples - hands down the best fried chicken I've had in a really long time. The sides were okay. My mother had the chicken and dumplings with green beans and fried apples. She said her chicken and dumplings were delicious and, since I helped myself to a bite, I concur! 😋 Yum! Unfortunately, they didn't have any apple fritters available for us to try so we decided to get a couple of fried apple pies to take home instead, along with our large amount of leftovers from the generous portions that were served. The fried pies weren't bad, but neither of us really cared for them. The crust was fairly thick and the filling reminded me more of a chunky applesauce than the type of filling I'm used to in a homemade fried pie. The carousel apples and tomatoes we purchased were delicious. We didn't enjoy the taste of the cosmic crisp apples quite as much. I wish I could tell you about the purple bell pepper. Unfortunately, my malamute must have thought I bought it for him and snatched it off the table for himself. HE gives it 5 out of 5 stars!!! Bless his heart! Overall, both of us are definitely looking forward to returning. The fresh produce was wonderful and reasonably priced as were our meals. Hope to eventually get to try the apple fritters as well as the purple bell pepper my fur baby enjoyed so much!

Food has been great in the past, but we drove out of our way to eat here today and the restaurant is closed until spring. So disappointing!! They really should post that information; most restaurants are not seasonal. I would recommend calling ahead to be sure they're open.

We enjoyed it very much, beautiful abundant produce. It was a beautiful day and sitting in rocking chairs between shopping was an added benefit, highly recommend!

Friendly staff and a nice, clean eating area. The produce store next door had a good selection of seasonal fruits and veggies and canned items. It was also kept clean. The candy store across the way was EXCELLENT!

What a cool treat I came across while taking a different route back to the hotel. Had to stop in and see what it was all about. I was greeted with the warmest manner. Had a piece of pie and coffee with a sweetheart of a gal that worked there and told me all about it. She was the first person I've really conversed with while out here for work. I also ate lunch there and had the catfish. It was delicious! I also picked up a few items for later use. All in all I had a great time. Thank you!

2nd time there. Food was great. Fried chicken was like Grandma’s. Capped it off with fried apple pie and ice cream. Perfect. Our server was great, very nice and spot on. Leave with a bag of fresh apples and cider to keep enjoying it. We will be back.

Wonderful experience for the whole family! This takes me back to my childhood of going to pick apples in the orchard, eating all the fresh food, and visiting the shop after for all the local goods. There is also a candy shop, which unfortunately was not open at this time. I guess that gives us an easy reason to come back soon!

Wow what a meal ! Awesome food and people. A must try if your in this neck of the woods. They are open daily 11am to 5 pm. We had lunch, and have had the breakfast the last time we visited. Plus they have a market you can buy fresh produce, and anything to do with apples.

Great country cooking style food. The view out the large window overlooking the orchard grounds with the mountains in the background is nice as well. The market has a wide selection of fresh apples and vegetables. I found some green tomato relish as well.

This is the best bookstore I’ve been to in long time. There truly is something for everyone here. The coffee was great too. I had such a great time exploring in Our place, and I can’t wait to come back. The owner was so wonderful and really passionate about the shop and the area. It’s absolutely worth the stop!!

You can easily lose track of time wandering this eclectic and fun bookstore! Really enjoyed grabbing a coffee from the counter and wandering the store. The prices were spot on and the staff as friendly as can be! I can’t wait till they expand their shop! The aisles were narrow and overflowing with books and merchandise so keep your kids’ hands in their pockets. My only complaint is I couldn’t stay longer!

Hidden gem, "worth turning around for". Always loved stopping in when I lived in the area and recently came back to visit. Service is still great, coffee better than any chain. Gifts for everyone and a good selection of books, in all genres.

This place is absolutely amazing for book readers. We found so many books from our childhood, new series, and there's all kinds of nic-naks. They also provide coffee that was pretty good. Store owner was very nice and helpful. Next time I am around this area I will definitely stop by and spend a bunch more money. (Not that things are expensive, my books were $2.99-5.99 each)

Best book store I've been to! They have so many books it's almost overwhelming. I found books here I read when I was younger that I'd completely forgotten I loved and the books are a great price. I didn't have a chance to try the coffee but it smelled amazing! The only complaint I have is that it's located about 3 hours from where I live lol but I'd consider driving the 3 hours just to visit this place again!

This hidden gem is dreamy and the best part of our trip. The conversation and coffee with the owner felt like visiting an old friend. The books were heaven. I can't wait to go back again.

My favorite used book shops are always the slightly chaotic ones. Our Place falls right into that category. Books fill the walls and pile onto the floor which just makes looking for books feel like a treasure hunt. All your standard genres are here and there's a good variety in newer vs older books. There's all sorts of gifts like mugs, children's games, blankets, etc scattered about so you can find something for everyone here. This is the kind of place you can get lost in and really spend some time browsing. It's a must visit if you're a book lover in the area!

This place is amazing! If your looking for a fun place to shop for books or grab a cup of coffee this is it! I can’t tell you how much I regret not stopping when we have passed by all these years. It will definitely be a stop on our way into Gatlinburg from now on. You could look all day and not see all the amazing book titles they carry. Easy parking and easy access to the main highway.

absolutely adorable locally owned shop filled to the brim with any book you could want. tons of knick knacks (also some made by other local artists in the area), cute earrings, patches, stickers, bags, t shirts, crystals, etc. but this isn’t like the typical tourist shops you see downtown, you can tell the owners have put their love into this place. don’t overlook this beautiful shop, it’s a lovely atmosphere with friendly people.

Great coffee. Quaint store with little treasures. Make sure to use restroom beforehand because they do not let you use one.

After much research on the different off road tour companies in the area, we decided to book with Smoky Mountain Adventure Tours as a Christmas gift for my husband, two kids (16,11) and myself. My husband drove and I rode in the back. It was so much fun! Our guide was great, the off-roading was awesome, the scenic views were amazing, and even the drive to and from was fun and interesting. I would recommend this company to anyone, you will not be disappointed! Also, stop by the moonshine store, friendly staff, and delicious spirits!

Excellent time! This is an off road tour led by a guide- so you are actually going on some rough trails UP and down the mountain. You will be dusty so wear your play clothes! They give you great instructions so you can do this even if you are not experienced, but for sure this is an off road tour. The views at the top are amazing. Our kids had a great time (6 & 8) and I felt very safe! And by the end of the tour the youngest was sound asleep :). We would absolutely book again if back in the area!

Absolute best side by side tour we have ever been on. The equipment is new and powerful. The terrain is fun for even the most experienced riders. You literally climb up to the top of a mountain on challenging terrain!

First the machine. I was leery when I signed up. The machines were first class. Comfortable and well kept. The mountains were fun. Both a driving and scenic adventure. Really enjoyed it and it would be fun to see various seasons. There is a bit of a ride to and from the beginning point of the actual trail. Not sure why it's so far away. That part was the missing star.

This was my second tour with Smoky Mountain Adventure and it was just as exciting and fun as the first time. There is a good combination of flat terrain and rugged trails. It is 100% worth the price. As others have stated, it can be dusty/dirty and the tour starts off in the KOA. Happy riding!

We feel so lucky to have stumbled on these guys. You climb a mountain!! Hills, rocks and a view you don’t want to miss! I’ve heard many people say other tours were boring….this one is NOT!! This will make your vacation. Bring the kiddos. Don’t miss out!!

So I'll be honest. I was a bit unsure about the price and if it would be worth it BUT, let me tell you, this was the BEST thing we did on our week long vacation to the area and we did and spent A LOT of money in the area and this was hands down the best "attraction" we went on. You aren't just street driving, you aren't just playing in a field, you ARE mountain climbing and REAL trail riding on this tour. This was sooooo much fun, if I can find an adventurous enough group to go with again I will DEFINITELY be doing this again and again. Thanks for the awesome tour.

If you like going off-road with steep trails, backwoods and Smoky Mountain views, this is it. Forget those pretty Jeep sightseeing tours where you sit in the back; there's no comparison. This is real trail riding where you drive up to three of your friends in very capable vehicles that are purpose built for off-road. Our guide was great, the trails were steep with many great views and fortunately it was muddy from heavy rain the night before making it that much better. Definitely recommended and will do again if ever return to the area.

We had a blast on this tour! Hands down would do it again and highly recommend for a great adventure. Staff and guides were great, equipment was excellent, and overall just phenomenal experience. Jess was fantastic and gave good instructions. Some of the ups and downs seem intimidating, but soooo fun! The views are amazing, and the midpoint stop was just gorgeous!

This whole experience is absolutely amazing, the trails, the drive through the mountains are incredible. However the customer service is amazing we got to know our guide and could have stay at the top and talked for hours. This was the best start to our anniversary weekend getaway. We had drove on at 3:30am and only had 4 hours of sleep before we did this tour and it was nothing short of amazing all the way around. We even talked bout local restaurants which we went and grabbed lunch from and that was so good as well. We even got to go to the distillery co and loved it as well. We got to meet the owner Kelly and he was so down to earth and took time away from what he was doing to have a conversation with us. These guys and gals made our trip extra special. I plan to recommend this to all our friends and family who love off roading just as much as us! You don’t want to miss out on this amazing experience.

We rented two buggies. It was a total blast! Worth every penny. We will definitely be back! Strongly recommend this place. The staff is amazing. Ask for Jack, he was our guide and he did an amazing job! He was very knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. Plus he gave us a heck of a ride. Most amazing scenery. Don't hesitate, book your ride today before they fill up!

Man... this is one heck of a hike! We started at the Cobb campground and made our way up to the Appalachian trail from there. This trip is not for the faint of heart! Very rewarding views and the sense of accomplishment is awesome. Stay frosty on this trail, especially in the summer (you are in the wilderness). Bring plenty of water and stay encouraged, you'll be there in no time! Hike time from Cobb to summit-4 hours Return trip to Cobb- 2.5 hours

Awesome hike

Mt. Cammerer has the best fire tower in the entire National Park. You can climb up from either the Asheville side or Gatlinburg side. When approaching from Asheville side, start the hike near I-40 exit to Waterville power station straight on the AT or drive a little further up the road to Chestnut branch trail and hike up to meet the AT. I took the second route. When approaching from Gatlinburg, start from the Cosby campground. The hike was about 12 miles out and back with a 3000ft elevation for my route. The early part of the hike was along the Chestnut creek with views of the forest and little waterfalls. I found this part very peaceful. As you climb, you get little views of the surrounding hills through the trees. Other than this, the trail doesn't offer much views along the way until you reach almost the top. But the forest is beautiful and the trail pretty much uniformly goes up all the way. So it's one of those trails where you can set a relaxing pace and chug along at a good rhythm enjoying the hike. Finally, when you reach the top, the view is worth all the struggles you had while climbing. The Pigeon River valley and Tennessee on one side and the high hills of North Carolina on the other. Try to plan your hike for a day when it's not too cloudy though!

Beautiful view at the top of the tower and well worth the effort! Took about 4.5 hours to get to the top with breaks and an additional 3 hours to get back with little to no stopping. Certainly rough on the joints and by no means is an easy hike. Total length of the trail is 10 plus miles with a good 3 miles of relatively steep incline with more leveled out elevation on the way to the lookout tower. It gets cold and windy near the top as expected so just a reminder. Have fun!

Great hike..5 hours to complete. I thought leconte was harder though!! Beautiful Edit ..hiked again this time starting from Chestnut branch..12.2 total miles 4:45 minutes with stopping at tower to eat and pics..I liked this starting route better!

Awesome but tough day hike. I did low gap up and down. 3 hours up and 2.5 hours down. The views on the way are nice but the lookout on top of mt crammerer is spectacular. Plan to stay on top for an hour.

The hike up is healthy but totally worth it. The view from the tower is just phenomenal.

Starting from Cosby Campground on the TN side is the easiest option of this tough but fun hike. Starting at an elevation of around 2,200ft on the Low Gap trail you will climb to 4,200 ft at 3 miles when you reach the junction to the AT. At which time you will head North on the AT and climb another 900 feet or so in the next mile. The last 2 miles are relatively level with some expected ups and downs. At 5.5 miles in you will reach another split in the trail where you’ll proceed straight to reach the tower. To return you can either hike down the same route or make a loop by continuing along the AT north to Lower Mt Cammerer trail which wraps around the north end back to Cosby. Out and back using the Low Gap trail is a roundtrip of around 12 miles with an elevation change of nearly 3,000 feet. Makes for a impressive day hike. Scenery is best around.

Super cute shop. The owners are great folks who work with local artists to bring you some fantastic pieces. The tye dyes are beautifully done. Well worth a peek inside. Don't miss the giant mushroom garden out front for a great photo op.

Stopped through on a trip and figured it would be a place we could shop comfortably. The owner (?) made a comment to my partner during check-out that his name was close to a racial slur for black people and thought it was funny. It’s not funny.

Groovy spot! Alot of love in this space w local artist work. The owners are very friendly. This is worth a visit to check out, even if it's out of the way. The tyedye is incredible. This shop is unlike the tourist traps that sell the same ole same ole. Look for the metal mushroom outside 😊

Absolutely amazing place to buy tie-dye! She makes some of the most beautiful art ive seen. They're very friemdly and involved with customers and almost everything is hand made by locals and local businesses.

Family owned small business. The nicest Woman rings things place. Shes so sweet and helpful. You can find just about everything you could wish for from things kind of store. Ties dies, jewelry, t shirts, tapestries, incense, smoking accessories, handmade goods from local artists and so much more! I'm sure to drop by everytime I'm in the area.

I love to ride out to Cosby for lunch and stop at Cosmic Ties to stock up on incense. The owners are so friendly and fun to talk to!

This place is so cute and if you’re a peace and love individual then it’s worth a stop by. They make their own items and also sell items from local artists and other small businesses. I got me a cute lil rose quart pendulum and a Smokey quarts crystal. As well as a peace sign car sticker. They have clothes and tapestries. So many beautiful crystals and homemade soaps and candles. And miss Barbara was such a sweetie. 💕 If I come back to Tennessee, I’m buying a tapestry!

Stopped because the big Ole mushrooms in the front caught my eye. Adorable little shop with lots of cute treasures. Owner was super knowledgeable and nice and I love that he knows so much about the artists and products he's selling. A must stop if you're in the area!

Stopped here while staying in Gatlinburg. LOVED this place. They have their own handmade items and also sell other local artists items. A lot to look at and super cute and trippy designs. We bought a little mushroom tie dye tapestry for our travel trailer. I forget the name of the older gentleman we talked to but he was super nice!

This shop has the best hand made items! They have a huge array of things from clothes, bags and tapestries to crystals, journals and dead bear statues. The tye dyes are beautifully made and reasonably priced. The owners of the shop are delights to talk with, down to earth and friendly.

Driving out some back roads in Tennessee and up comes RY yard art and it was cool with all kinds of gargoyles and yard ornaments and metal yard ornaments and got me a big old Tennessee rooster and a Groot....John was friendly ole fella

Words can not say how thankful I am that my wife and I stumbled upon this wonderful quilt store. My brother-in-law passed away, and my wife asked one of the incredible staff members if they could make a quilt and a teddy bear out of his shirts. We just returned to the store to pick up the quilts, and we both were overwhelmed by the quality of the work and the design of the quilts that they made. It was evident that the staff members cared enough to create an everlasting memory of our loved one. When they showed us the quilts, we were speechless as the great memories of our lost loved one were brought to life.

We bought our new nephew a quilt from here... The quality is exceptional....the other quilt my husband bought me for my birthday... The ladies are super sweet...

I’ve been hunting down quilt shops since moving to east TN and just found this sweet gem in the mountains. Proprietor very helpful pointing out where I could find various items and left overs from projects that included binding, yardage etc.

Wonderful shop, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Tons of nooks and crannies with samples and ready to buy quilts of all sizes to explore. Definitely a place for any quilter in East Tennessee to visit.

We had a great time. Trails are kept branch free,, so no rubbing. Some challenging tight turns and steep spots to keep things fun. Beautiful views and some walking trails to stretch your legs.

Just spent a day with Dan on his awesome property. Tons of trails with amazing views. Dan was so knowledgeable about Jeeps, the ins and outs of wheeling, and did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and confident in seeing what all our rigs were capable of. Stock rigs went down the trails with the same ease as the lifted rigs on 35s. We only did the "easy" trails today, but make no mistake about the term "easy." If you're wanting to learn more about your rig and its abilities, as well as your own, check them out. You won't be disappointed!

He went out of his way to put a smile on my family's face and it was much appreciated. Explained in detail on how my Jeep does what it does and why. Extremely helpful for a beginner like myself. This is an awesome facility and a MUST do for anyone wanting to take their rig Offroad! My wife and I just took our three kids out in my Wrangler JLU to this facility for our first time out as a family. Dan is great and very accommodating. He has done an awesome job in setting this course up and clearly marking all three levels of trails. My Jeep has no issues navigating these trails. The black trails with the best views are a bit challenging, but doable with some mods. My setup is MOPAR 2” lift, 37” nitro trail grapplers, and 12k winch.

We purchased a new 2dr Rubicon and had know idea how everything worked. We decided on taking a off road course taught by the owner Dan. Wow, best thing we could have done. He's a retired Navy Seal who has built an amazing Offroad Park. One of which is on its way to becoming a Jeep Badge of honor trail. He explains everything in a classroom about your particular rig and you get to follow him in your rig on several different trails as he explains how to pick your line and how your rig reacts to different environments. The park is a mountain with awesome trails for every level of driver. Will be back again. 5 stars

Dan is a perfect mentor!! His style of teaching off-road driving is: theory+practice+experiencing theoretical foundations with practice. It worked really well for me! His guidance, knowledge, and mentorship made me realize my vehicle's capabilities and how they would work for me in real-life situations. I really commend him for building a great facility where he can explain technical features of the landscape and the vehicle, and how to handle any situation by combining knowledge of both. (My vehicle: '19 Toyota 4Runner TRD ORP, stock with A/T tires)

A buddy and I took my 2000 Wrangler (3 in lift and 33s - everything else is stock) out on the trails today. We had a great time and appreciated Dan's hospitality and good advice on how to handle some common 4WD situations on the trails. He's very knowledgeable and super easy to work with!! We started easy and did all the green trails (some were surprisingly steep, but not technical.) We even did a couple of blue trails. I will definitely come back to do more blue trails It's a really cool setup, and after a couple of times through you get to know the lay of the trails, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Such an awesome experience! The owner is knowledgeable and kind. I still consider my self to be a beginner but with the great guidance and instructions from Dan - the owner, he made me feel alot more confident in my Jeeps capabilities and also mine. Definitely recommend and will be returning soon. Thank you again !

Huge selection of fun outdoor gadgets, food, and wellness products in a little store. The owner is super knowledgeable about everything in the shop and she is incredibly kind! We were in the shop for about an hour just looking at things and talking. It was an awesome stop. We live off grid but we don’t really keep up with all the products they have these days for living the way we do. Highly recommend this shop for everyone from advanced off grid to people who are just curious about fun camping products. So thankful we stopped in! And the boiled peanuts being sold out front are DELICIOUS.

Wonderful porch and fascinating people. The mushroom class was just amazing and I went home with 2 tubes of Real Time Maxx for my knee pain that in 3 days fixed the pain I’ve been dealing with for a year! So impressed.

Stopped in on our way to Gatlinburg. So many interesting and much needed things for survival. Sandra is very knowledgeable about all of her inventory! We will definitely visit again in the future!

Great selection of fresh apples, at low prices. I love cherry jelly and is hard to find some that is good, and I found it here! If i knew I would've liked it this much I would have bought several jars. Very friendly staff that told us about their farm. I will be back.

Great place to get fresh apples. Got a large bag of deer apples for our horses, and got some for ourselves too. Delicious! Reasonable prices, and knowledgeable staff

Family owned small business. The nicest Woman rings things place. Shes so sweet and helpful. You can find just about everything you could wish for from things kind of store. Ties dies, jewelry, t shirts, tapestries, incense, smoking accessories, handmade goods from local artists and so much more! I'm sure to drop by everytime I'm in the area.

This place is so cute and if you’re a peace and love individual then it’s worth a stop by. They make their own items and also sell items from local artists and other small businesses. I got me a cute lil rose quart pendulum and a Smokey quarts crystal. As well as a peace sign car sticker. They have clothes and tapestries. So many beautiful crystals and homemade soaps and candles. And miss Barbara was such a sweetie. 💕 If I come back to Tennessee, I’m buying a tapestry!
