Fantastic place, really recommend to visit there. The beach is big enough and very clean. The view is also beautiful. Would recommend to visit it in the morning when is not that packed and it is also good time to take some nice photos.

Haeundae Beach is a popular spot in Busan and the hype is worth it. It's a beautiful and clean beach with really long shoreline. I sat on the sand here and just looked at the beach and the people for hours and it was relaxing. Sunsets are beautiful from here too. And night walks are equally relaxing. It can get crowded but since its really big, it's never crammed.

Nice beach even though weather wasn't that great when I went. The street leading up to it was cool too, with nice cafes, restaurants and shops. There are buskers at designated spots, which was nice to watch

Beautiful beach, beautiful people, birds, kites and events happening all the time everywhere. This place was brimming with life and action! The food was awesome around here too. The only place to get good international food that tastes AUTHENTIC in Korea (with minor exception of course). Swimming was great and surfing out of this world. Come here. Haeundae beach is a beautiful and serene place that I really enjoy visiting. I love the early mornings there, when the sun is just starting to rise and the beach is quiet and peaceful. It's the perfect time to take a walk and enjoy the stunning views. The beach itself is so clean and well-maintained. I love to watch the waves and listen to the sound of the ocean. Overall, Haeundae beach is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

The most famous sea beach in South Korea... though only less than a mile in length, it's always full of activities and people. Good place to spend time with friends and dear ones.

Nice beach area with a good boardwalk along the beach for a stroll or walk. Nearby with many nice hotels and restaurants to enjoy Many beach front hotels available. We stayed at a nearby condo with only a short to the beach. It is a friendly beach with WC nearby and a short walk to the traditional market where you can find many street foods and dining options. Busan is a chill city and people are nice. We enjoyed our stay and walk along the beach. Will love to come back again in the future.

Gorgeous beach. They had some festival while I was there in Oct 2022 and there were many stalls set up along the beach to sell food/drinks and handmade wares. Many families playing along the beach too. The sky there was simply stunning. would go again :)

I really enjoyed the views from this beach. The tall skyscrapers really were impressive on the background. The water was 14C in early April. The beach was well maintained.

I recently visited Haeundae Beach during their winter lighting festival, and it was truly a mesmerizing experience. Nice place to hang out, the approach is beautiful with an aquarium. Evenings are nice with some local music artists performing out at the beach. One of the must visit tourist attractions of Busan

A location where modernity blends with nature - combination of sea, sand, and high buildings. Yes, there are a lot of people but the atmosphere and views are truly marvelous.

A really nice beach - peaceful, not too commercialized. The beachfront itself isn’t full of commercial shops or anything, just pure beach! The beach is really clean, no litter or anything. Along the beach, there’s many places (steps) for you to sit with your company. The sunset view is lovely~

Colourful little village! So many nooks and crannies and little hidden alleyways to walk through. There’s an abundance of cafes with rooftops to take photos on, heaps of free photo spaces with props and souvenir shops. Can easily spend 2-3 hours walking around. We walked all the way to the bottom and caught the bus back to the top. Signs and directions are everywhere.

Lovely historic village. Lots of colour, little streets to explore. Winds up and down from one side of the hill to the other. Interesting piece of history. Lots of places to take pictures with le Petit price statues, or BTS murals. Nice day trip overall. We chose to hike up and down the hill, good exercise but might be much during sunny hot days. There's even places to hire traditional costumes for a more immersive experience.

It is a really good place for sight seeing. Many houses seems to be empty, it is due to the migration of population for village to city. What I heard from one of the store owners is that young people love to stay in apartments hence they shift out from this place. Considering the fact that there is no entry ticket to this place and many houses empty, the people have really kept the place clean. The colors of houses are so prettily done that you can't take your eyes out of it. Many place are available for photographs and memory pictures. You can also find stores to buy souvenirs.

I thought this was going to be overrated. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. The houses are beautiful and make for great pictures. The murals are plenty, and there are actually quite a few cafes and stores to visit. It's worth the effort imo. If you're fit or up for a challenge, then you can walk up to the village instead of catching the bus. There are also multiple observation points. There is a really cool store in the main shopping area where you can buy postcards and stamps and send them. It's a lovely and unique experience. The postcards are also beautiful.

Scenic place to visit. Lots of souvenirs shop. You can explore by climbing stairs (be prepared to climb a lot) Or walk on the main road which will eventually lead u to most attractions. If u feel energetic enough, feel free to go treasure hunt mode within this village. Best to be there in the morning, when the crowd is just arriving. Lots of photo spots to take pics.

We had a great time walking the village, all kinds of fun foods, shops, and photo opportunities. Lots of hills and stairs, so if you have mobility issues, be aware. The honeycomb ice cream, BTS murals, and the book stairs were my favorite spots. The most popular spot Is the Little Prince photo overlook. The lines get quite long by mid morning.

Beautiful place, and the history is deep. It was awesome to get a chance to visit an iconic place in South Korea. Many places you see only on TV, magazines and the internet but to actually visit this place was amazing. I highly recommend this place. It wasn't as busy as it usually gets, so we were really lucky. We got some cool t-shirts for souvenirs as well. They were about $12 a shirt. It is very hilly, so expect to walk and climb a lot.

Very beautiful place, must visit when you are in Busan. Off at the bus stop, you can go in by the front of the attraction or the back (to left of bus stop then down a slope). From there, you can venture off the beaten track, and catch some great sights opposite from the main street, and also see some of the houses in the village. You can then attempt to explore up across the village to the main street. Completes the experience.

Amazing day! Just know up front, there’s lots of snack opportunities…would have like a couple more sit down eat places. But, understanding what the village is, no problem. Very unique heritage, and super clever way to show off the culture. Loved the stamp idea and the excellent t map to get us through the villiage. Be prepared to walk up and down the hills. Go with a curious mindset and you will have a great adventure!!

Beautiful place, a must visit if you're in Busan. You can take the bus to the entrance and there go to the information centre for a map. In the map you can check the most important places, and there's even a stamp collection to complete. Even if the whole area is on the hillside, the walk from the entrance is almost flat. You'll find many shops and cafes in the area. Please remember there's people living in the houses, respect the rules not to disturb them

Been here on the weekend, there were so many people. A bit cloudy at the beginning but finally it's clear and the wind a bit cooler. There's map on the information center but since we need to pay about ₩2.000 so we decided not to use it. We just walked around and took photos of the surrounding area. Many popular photo spot, so we have to queue. Be careful not to distrub people who live there. After such a heavy walk since there's so many stairs, we enjoyed some snack nearby which cost about ₩4.000 each.

Great place to visit. It was not that crowded early. We did run across a school class of teenagers dressed in full Korean traditional outfits that was very fun to see. We had a lot of fun walking the streets and seeing the art, searching for stamps and finding the occasional kitty cat lounging around. Don't forget to find the 148 stairs (stairs to see the stars) and climb up. 😉

Absolutely stunning!!! The views are incredible, the buildings look even better in real life than in the pictures. I didn’t know that was even possible 😂 I definitely recommend going by yourself to try it out first before taking friends and older family. The climb up the stairs to the main touristy areas may be a challenge for older people. But other than that, this is probably one of the most interesting and amazing places I’ve been. There are many steps to get up to the stores and views, and the bus transportation to the village is a bit sketchy, but it is all worth it when you get there. There are lots of food options and touristy spots and stores around, as well as murals and photo areas.

If you are looking for a nice cultural experience visit this place. There are nice views of the villages that have been revamped but the houses are built on the side of the mountain. There are shops and snacks lining the whole way with designated pic tire spots and nice artwork.

Really pretty village! I recommend buying a map at the tourist information center, it gives you a nice path to follow and you can play a little stamp game! A lot of very nice art to see. For a coffee definitely visit DUF across from the community center, VERY nice atmosphere and amazing iced drinks, you can also feed the ducks if you want! We went during the week and it was very calm. Definitely recommend taking the time to go here!

A really nice and pretty place with amazing colourful houses. There’s was quite a few souvenir shops and cafes. You can get the map for 2000won at the starting point to collect the stamps. Although it is a pretty long walk (took us over 2hrs), it is quite satisfying to be able to collect all the stamps.

Absolutely beautiful and fascinating. Just pack lightly and don't carry more than you need to, it's very crowded even on a Monday afternoon, and steep. I shouldn't have brought a heavy, bulky backpack.

A beautiful old village transformed into a tourist attraction. Worth to visit and spend a few hours here, recommended to come by bus or taxi, since it is quite a big steep up. Most of the houses are now tourists shops and small cafes with quite a history behind. It's a nice walk around the village, with quite a few very busy spots (you'll see the queue).

This village is worth the trip and spending time at!!! Lots of food, sit down and street vendors. Lots of art shops and little stores to buy unique items. Beautifully painted. HINT make your way to the top left of the village if facing up the mountain side. Great pictures looking over the village and south into another bay. Also a little Buddhist temple at the top. Its free no tickets

This is a colorful hillside village which is known for its narrow alleyways, brightly painted houses, and stunning views of the city all the way to the sea. It was originally built in the 1950s for refugees of the Korean War and in recent years, it has been transformed into an art district with so many visitors. I really enjoyed walking thru narrow alleys. Go there early if you prefer to avoid crowds.

So many opportunities for fun photos with striking scenic backgrounds, and amazing murals. Many tourists take advantage of the on-site costume rentals which adds to the fun. Food and beverage options are mostly of the bakery/cafe variety. There are some street food vendors including a guy that cooks food with a butane torch over a flame grill! Visually exciting and quite tasty. I highly recommend this place for a nifty half day outing.

This is a fun place to visit and get a good workout!! Make sure to park in the parking garage. Many great photo ops ( a couple, you'llneedtowaiton line). There are winding little side alleys to shops and food, but some have people living there, so be respectful. Also, maybe do the research to find out what and why this village is.

I'm truly speechless at the breathtaking views and sights at the Gamcheon Culture Village. For the best photo opportunities, I suggest visiting one of the local coffee shops; many offer rooftop access after purchasing a beverage. Otherwise, expect crowds elsewhere. Overall, it's a must-visit spot during your time in Busan. I can't recommend it enough!

Main streets are quite touristy but side alleys are really intimate. Gorgeous views and colourful buildings. If you like cats, The Little Prince, and street art, THIS IS FOR YOU. A lot of stairs and hills. Bring good walking shoes. Plenty of food vendors for street food and meals too. Plenty of public toilets around but watch out as some don't have toilet paper. This is a residential neighbourhood so please remember to be respectful - speak at low volumes and don't take invasive pictures of peoples homes. Went on a Tuesday around noon, not crowded at all. Spent about 2.5h here walking around, shopping, and visiting a cafe. There are maps around with pinned attractions. You can also buy a paper map at the entrance.

Such an awesome cultural village conveniently located close to public transport. There is a lot of walking and tons of steps when you go but it is so worth it. You can come here for an hour or get lost in the back streets for half a day. There's heaps of culture and art and an interesting history with the village being a former refugee camp. I'd recommend paying the small fee to get the stamp collection map as it has a good route you can follow.

Beautiful place, I highly recommend picking up the stamp tour map for 2000 won at the tourist center as it provides you a route to see all the hidden gems in the town. The route was not difficult at all to go through. I spent around 3 hours there in total. Don't miss the photo deck on the 4th floor of the community center.

Really fun way to spend a day! Pretty easy to get to, catch a train to Toseong station, exit via exit number 6 and catch one of the green buses to the top of the hill. The bus goes past 3 of the entrances/exits, we actually got off a little early and ended up walking up more to the proper entrance (pic attached). There’s a strip of cute stalls and food shops all along the entrance, make sure you grab a map at the information center! This helped us find our way. We did route B. Was a very fun day.

Spectacular Buddhist temple located on the coastline in the outskirts from Busan. Easy to reach with public transport, it's 45min from Busan (metro + bus in our case). Entrance is free and you are able to see how magnificent this temple is. From the main entrance, quite a few stairs and you arrive. You can also go via the car entree (if open) and walk downslope. The main temple should be a 5min walk. It had facilities, toilets and a small cafe.

This is one of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen. It is built on the seashore and has several buildings decorated inside and out. There are giant statues of Buddha. It is a very peaceful place. I recommend going early because it is a very visited place by tourists and locals. Entrance is free.

It’s beautiful. It’s quite a walk from the main road. If you’re taking the public transportation, take bus #1001 and stop right before the road that leads to the temple. The directions on the Kakao map is to stop after the road that leads to the temple but it’s actually a further stop. The place was quite interesting. There are statues of the zodiacs at the entrance. There are also street food vendors so make sure you bring cash. The food is delicious. It would probably take you about 20-30 mins to walk around the area.

This temple was a little crowded when we went but that’s not the temple’s fault. There’s a sign which proudly states it’s the “most beautiful temple in Korea”, and based on the amount of people we saw, that’s no secret! Crowds aside, the temple was awesome! The artwork and paintings on the buildings were really pretty and so are the statues. There’s also a bunch of food stalls and shops leading up to the temple. So you can grab something to eat and souvenirs on the way there or back. Lastly, it’s really easy to get to this temple from the bus stops! Google doesn’t show a clear road to take or give directions, but there are a lot of signs showing which way to go and big open sidewalks to get there. You can’t miss it!

Impressive Temple, right on the sea. Gets pretty busy on a weekend but there's plenty of space and several buildings, just takes a while to get up/down the steps to the temple. There are some great photo spots where you can get views of the temple on the coastline too. We walked from the nearest subway station, 35 minute walk, but there are buses and a lot of people seemed to be getting taxis.

Free to enter. I have uploaded a lot of photos so you can see what it is like on a rainy/Misty day, incase you can't be bothered. This is on the side of a cliff so get ready for steps and steep steps. It would be spectacular in the sun. Lots of food at the entrance and throughout the temple. At the top there is a place with gateraide for hydration.

The temple by the sea has many beautiful views. The complex though relatively small has several levels. During my visit, I saw mainly international tourists. Since it's on the east coast, it is also a fabulous spot for sunrise pics.

If you have time, you can walk along the coast to enjoy more of the view. Unless you come very early in the morning, expect to see buses of toursists. There are food stalls and souvenir shops at the entrance/exit.

The coastal temple is so nice. I visited the temple on Lunar New Year holiday, it was quite crowded. I hope to visit it latter, and do some walking meditation 😄

Beautiful Buddhist temple, possibly the most beautiful in all of Korea, imo. A lot to see here, best to arrive early before the crowds. Good options for snacks/souvenirs on the walk to the entrance. Nice view from the cafe within the temple area as well. There are a lot of steps, but there is an easier path for those with limited mobility through the bamboo trees, just before the tall pagoda and main entrance, to the right.

Beautiful temple by the sea. In Korea temples are usually built in the mountain but this temple is built on the rocks by the sea. It is gorgeous and many people visit on the 1st day of the year to see the sunrise. If you want to see the sunrise you might need ti go by car or a taxi as public transport starts later in summer than the sunrise time. A destination that I absolutely recommend if you come to Busan.

Haedong Yonggungsa temple is an absolute must-see for anyone visiting Busan. The temple's stunning architecture and serene atmosphere make it a truly unforgettable experience. The view from the temple is breathtaking, with the blue sea stretching out as far as the eye can see. I was lucky enough to visit during Buddha's birthday, and it was a beautiful sight to see the temple decorated in celebration. I highly recommend a visit to Haedong Yonggungsa temple to anyone looking for a peaceful and awe-inspiring experience.

A unique and stunning temple. It was super busy which made the stairs up and down more difficult to negotiate. The later in the day the busier it got. I suggest visiting earlier in the day before the big tour buses get there and wear good shoes for all the steps down and then up. Well worth the effort to see this beautifully located temple.

Breathtaking Korean Temple with beautiful coastal view. Couple of similarities with the Chinese temples. No entrance fees. There’s a wishing well to throw coins into, requires some aiming, so be sure to bring some coins before coming. Multiple donation boxes available if you’re into that. Took a bus in be prepared for walking up a hill before reaching.

This is the most beautiful temple , not only in Korea but , everywhere I have been haha. I did not really spend much time here so there isn’t much to tell because it was extremely cold on this day . Anyways , the pictures can do justice towards explaining how beautiful this place is .( just imagine if this was a sunny day )

Free entrance to the temple. We came rather early (before 11am?) and the temple did not have that many tourists. Manage to get some walking and exploring done, and the temple was well-maintained. There was a flight of stairs up to see a Buddha statue, and it may not be suitable for elderly to climb, as the stairs were irregular-shaped and steep. There was a souvenir shop, managed by the temple. I got a 10k won magnet, though a tad expensive but I love it.

Most Famous Temple should be visit when stay in Busan. Take bus 1001 and stop 20 minutes walk before temple. Many Buddhism go here to Pray and also have nice view beside Sea. Need prepare well for stamina 😜

The entrance is through the small shops, with these stopping at the entrance to the grounds. There are many statues to photograph, and the path to the temple is smooth, sloped, and mostly covered by bamboo. The buildings are in need of a fresh coat of paint outside but look great inside. There are many beautiful places, and many stairs to climb to see things. Make sure you bring some coins for the bridge at the exit. To toss at the turtle statues. Worth the visit, very nice place, just wish they managed up keep better

Nice views and the temple faces the sea. GO there to destress / pray / take artistic photos. The temple looks refreshing and magnificent. Unfortunately, visibility was not good when I visited that day. Nevertheless it was a great experience. Food stalls and souvenir shops along the way. You can have a look at them as well. Nearby walking distance there's premium outlet to shop as well as luge, a bit similar to universal studio. Some alternative activities (costly though 😅)

This place is a tourist attraction place. The seafood itself is reasonable. However, the other charges like cooking charges for each dish and per person charges jagged up the cost to mid $200 including the seafood cost. Nonetheless, my family and I had. Good time eating and enjoying the fresh seafood.

This review is based on the scenery, as I have seafood allergies. I most admired the layout of the buildings and the bay as seen from the pier, as as well the energy of the area. The vendors were mostly friendly and welcoming. There are other things you can eat besides seafood, such as ice cream and other snacks.

Jagalchi Seafood Market is renowned for its abundance of stalls selling live seafood, offering an incredible experience. Up on the second floor, numerous restaurants are ready to skillfully cook the seafood you've chosen from the bustling first floor. This indoor haven is an ideal spot for tourists seeking to savor the freshness of Korean seafood. The clean and controlled indoor environment stands out as a notable advantage, surpassing the experience provided by the outdoor stalls surrounding the building. Additionally, there's a complimentary observatory deck on the rooftop.

Visit for an interesting experience. You can see the variety of raw seafood available in Busan, including stingray, squid, giant crabs etc. All still live within the water tanks. I read that you can choose the seafood you’d like, and head for the second floor where it’s cooked for you, but we didn’t try it as we were still full from some fishcakes we tried earlier.

Must see place. All the seafood that you can imagine. You can select what you want to eat and they will make it for you upstairs. I had King Crab, wild Abalone, live shrimp, and clams. King Crab is not very good because it's been in the tank for a while. It has lost weight. Next time I am going to have them weigh each one and select the heaviest one since it all cost the same. Shrimp is good because it's in season. I asked for the big ones because they have eggs. The wild Abalone is okay, the meat is a little tough compared to the farm raise. Clams are good. I just wish they were cook in the soup broth and serve them with the soup.

Watch out for aggressive shop owners in 2F, who have a hidden code of not stealing another’s customers. (Even the same stall numbers are owned by different people and they carry the same menus throughout.) The food were pretty overpriced for us as we dive straight into 2F instead of buying the seafood at 1F. (As non-native Korean speakers, we didn’t know how best to haggle with the owners in 1F.) The freshness of the seafood is unparalleled, nonetheless. Not to mention, the food portion! We ordered everything in the smallest portion but walked away fully stuffed!

Very fun and lively place. Lots of people hustling to sell their seafood and a huge variety of seafood to choose from. Crab, abalone, eel, many types of other fish. At about 5pm when I visited, some of the stalls were already closing down so it’s maybe best to get here earlier in the day to see the market at its most busy.

Everything was so fresh and delicious. We got a king crab, scallops and clams from downstairs (#273) and they brought it upstairs for the restaurant to cook it. We were able to pay with card and they were very nice and patient with us. They also had additional items on the menu upstairs so we got stir fried octopus and onion pancake. Everything was delicious and it was so, so fresh.

Live seafood selection from level one, which can be cooked by stalls on level two. Or you can go to level two straight to order seafood. Personally, I feel that buying the seafood from level one is fresher, but ordering straight from level two stalls saved you the add-on service charges for the cooking. What is a must-have Abalone, Octopus 🐙, Sashimi, raw Crab 🦀... if you are a seafood lover.... the list is too long to continue.

So much fun! You can select your fresh seafood from the vendors downstairs and then take it upstairs to be prepared. If you're a seafood lover or are looking for a unique and yummy experience, then I highly recommend visiting. The selection of seafood is somewhat smaller than I expected, with most vendors selling the same or a similar variety. Pricing can be very different from vendor to vendor (if you're foreign), so make sure you know what you should be paying or try visiting multiple stalls, to ensure you don't get ripped off.

Prices seemed pretty marked-up at the 2 storey seafood market, but the snow crab was really delicious, and it came with seaweed rice. Add on Makgeoli for only $3. Satisfying meal👍👍

It is a market, so expect fresh seafood. You can buy and cook at home/hotel or you can choose and ask them to cook and eat there. We tried steamed king crab which was served with a variety of seafood sides - sea pineapple (meongge in Korean), shells, seaweeds, fish, etc.

A traditional seafood market in Busan. Not much to buy for tourists apart from dried goods which are not particularly cheap either. But definitely an interesting visit nonetheless. Recommend having a meal at the grilled fish restaurants along the market. Fish was really fresh. Best to come in a larger group to try the different varieties of fish.

It was closed, I walked through the stalls outside but honestly it is just a market with high prices. If you keep on walking on the way to the other market close to the tower you will find lower prices. I had the steamed snow crab for 70won/kg, that's the best price I found, at a restaurant across the street from this market and it was good but I tried the one with soy in Seoul and it was so much better.

There is other markets nearby but I guess this is the most popular one. Plenty of seafood and dried foods to buy aka seaweed, cuttlefish, etc. Settled down at a random restaurant for dinner on the second floor, and the snow crab was very very fresh! There is an observatory deck on the top floor, need to climb stairs to get there. You’ll see gamcheon village on the right and other similar looking villages, overlooking the beautiful sea & ship bay!

Great place to experience the hustle and bustle of the local live seafood market. Feel that this is a better option compared to the one in Seoul. There are lots of vendors to choose from with most selling similar items. Just go for one vendor that you like or clique well with. Must try's are definitely the crabs. King crabs are significantly pricier, but the snow or spider crabs are a good alternative, especially if you are just 2 people dining. Personal preference is to get most of the seafood grilled or steamed, especially for the shellfish, it just tastes better that way. Fishes are good for sashimi. After buying your seafood, the shop keeper will bring you up to the second floor where it will be cooked, and you will just need to pay another 5-10 dollars for the cooking fee. Overall, a great experience!

Tried the King Crab from stalls 114/115 (Bada) based on good Google reviews - was not disappointed. Picked out our goodies at the first floor from the stall owners. The nice lady explained to us the pricing (70k KRW/kg) and weighed our picks for us. We asked for a King Crab. She was not pushy and when learning it was just me and my girlfriend eating, suggested that we go for a smaller-sized crab. She also threw in a few free oysters and clams. After that, another nice lady brought our haul upstairs in a bucket and got us seated. We ended up getting a small king crab (~1.5kg) with the oysters and clams for a total of 130,000 KRW. Thought the king crab was a bit too motionless, but I saw its mouth writhing so it was probably still alive enough. We were served banchan of kimchi, peanuts, seaweed, shredded cabbage, garlic, and chili peppers. They gave us wasabi with soy sauce and gochujang to eat with the seafood. The crab was fresh, sweet, and well cooked. The head butter went really well with the rest of the crab (legs and all). It was steamed by default which I think is a great way to cook fresh seafood. The crab was perfect by itself. The free molluscs were delightful steamed as well, though I prefer them a bit more raw. These tasted better with the sauces. The base cost was 110k with 5k per person for table setting including banchan, and a 10k cooking fee for large stuff. Would've been 5k for smaller stuff. This is probably the best 130 or so dollars we have spent (65 per person) in Korea because we were rolling out of the market giddy and giggling by the end of it all.

Had food poisoning from this, I was hesitant to make a review but after seeing other reviews of the similar case I was sure. Considering apart from this seafood meal I didn't eat much else knew it was the culprit. We ordered a mixed platter, which contained cooked and uncooked items. Both my partner and myself were sick for 24 hours.

This fish market is big and we got there a bit late for dinner. We didn’t walk around and choose the seafood we wanted from the market on level 1. I don’t like to pick live seafood. We came up to level 2 and sat down to order. The food was fresh and tasty. We love all the dishes here and would like to come back again.

We brought our seafood from stall 115. Very friendly lady boss and she speaks very good english. Price is very reasonable. Live octopus is a thumbs up!

The seafood market is eyes opening. But the upstairs food service is a bit disappointed. They charge tourists a very high price and the quality is not satisfactory.

Food is Korean cuisine, focused on fresh seafood. You opt for a style of cooking, and the kitchen prepares it on the spot. Very convenient, and a great dining experience. Quality is consistently good, thanks in part to the freshness of the seafood. Most of the restaurants will also serve complimentary Banchan / Side Dishes, and you can order beverages too. Portions are sized for communal group dining and sharing. Prices command a slight premium.

Enjoyed walking through the BIFF Square area, a lot of information about the history of Korea in film. I went to the Busan Film Festival library and got to have some lovely experiences with the music and film there. High recommend to visit the BIFF library on 4flr. Enjoyed some street food too. It's such a vibrant environment.

Many food stands along the street with wide range of choices. Should try: ✅ roasted chicken stick (4000 won), great flavor, tender and juicy meat ✅ fried beef slice with egg (5000 won) ✅ ice cream (3000 won, very very long for 2 - 3 people can eat together haha). 🤣🤣🤣

Nice open area with a selection of street food. It was relatively empty when we arrived, but quickly became crowded in the late morning. The street food gets repetitive after a while, but overall a good place for a short visit.

Busan International Film Festival square is a remarkable and historical location of film industry, it also became as a tourist point Engraved with the winners of the annual palms, footprints of cooper plates and copper plates winning names will be set in the ground on the square. The square also provides with shops, restaurant and various of stalls. Worth to visit and walk around.

The place for lovers of good street food. A wide variety of food stalls at a good price. I liked the beef meat pancake and the Hotteok, which is a fried dough ball filled with sugar, cinnamon, peanuts and sesame seeds, is simply delicious. The place is busy and there is no access to cars and it is best to get there using public transport or a taxi. If you use your own car to get there, there is a parking lot at the beginning of the street.

BIFF Square, renowned for its abundance of street food, resembles Hollywood's Chinese Theatre with actors' handprints adorning the ground. Despite these attractions, it doesn't offer much else in terms of distinctive features or experiences. While the vibrant street food scene and the reminiscent touch of Hollywood add charm, the square may lack additional noteworthy elements to make it stand out.

We went during the Busan Film Festival week and got to have some lovely experiences with the market there, enjoyed some street food, and got to see the celebrity 'hands" on gold plates on the ground. It's such a vibrant environment

Pretty much like a street food market area with lotsa variety such as the ever famous fish cake with soup (must try and that warm soup ohh you can get free refill), that delish hot teok(syrup filled fried cake). There are more variety but I have found during my trip not many stalls open. Maybe post pandemic lots of them closes for good ? Ensure to bring some cash by the way as most of the street vendors only accept cash.

Lots of stores and located close to gukje market, jalgachi market and bupyeong kkangtong market. All great places to go for more shopping or for food after you get tired with browsing through every store! Great place to spend a day during your trip to Busan.

We had a walk here and it was interesting with many food stalls , restaurants and cafes around, we bought some kimbap for quick lunch.

Location for local Korean street food, you can find a lot of booth selling all kind of street food, also there are some "traditional resto" selling local food The hotteok here to me is the best among other places, not too sweet and savory flour

This is the place to come to for street food in Busan..not exactly a lot of stalls but enough to have a taste of what Korean street food looks and taste.

I liked it. Despite the fact that we came a little too late. Not much to see around the time we came by but overall street foods was excellent taste and all the vendors are so nice and very welcoming. On side note: there's one ajushi pushed me to the side instead of saying excuse me. Stupid old hag has no manners. Anyway, definitely worth coming back to this place. From BIFF square it leads to Gukje market where along the way you can find many street food. The price is affordable and they are delicious. There are also proper seafood restaurants along the way. Around BIFF square, you can see many standalone booths in the middle of the streets, they are actually providing fortune telling service.

BIFF is a fairly big area. It starts by the road side and then it runs in deep into a sort of cross junction. So what’s at BIFF? I guess when the film festival isn’t here, then on a day to day basis, you will find lots of pop up stalls sell delicious food. Several of these hawkered stalls are rated on YouTube and it’s pretty interesting to see them live cooking it 😆 There is also a huge cat cafe here that you can get to spend unlimited time with the cats. Lots of places to have food, drinks, cosmetic shopping. Head north from the entrance, you will walk into Gukje Market. Love the vibe of this market in the morning however, they pretty much wind down and close by 3pm. Go early to you wanna catch a good bargain. To the East, you will find the famous Busan Tower, park and across the road from there, Lotte Mall. I will start the day by entering BIFF via the main road / entrance. Head north to visit the market, then walk back out (when the stalls starts closing) towards BIFF again and turn east to the Busan tower to capture a nice sunset view of the tower and park. Then end with dinner at the port side - Jagalchi Market (check out my other post for details)

Love the vibe in the evening. Many street vendors selling socks, souvenirs and food. There are many food stalls: fishcake skewers, chicken skewers, green onion pancakes, waffles, etc. The streetfood ends around 8:30PM (in October).

Nice peaceful park. You can take the elevators up from BIF shopping area. It's connected to the Busan movie museum. There are some swings you can enjoy after the walk up.

The park has very pretty cherry blossom trees. We visited in the third week of March and some flowers had just started to bloom. It was definitely worth climbing up all the stairs to the top. Very windy and chilly at the top though.

One of the must-sees in Busan. Especially the view at Tower is amazing. There are couple of ways to get to the park, but not all paths have escalators, though. If you come from east and inside the city, following narrow streets, there are just too many steps to climb and it is very tiring.

Peaceful oasis away from the city. I loved coming here for a walk in the mornings I was in Busan. It felt so calm and there are many locals in this area, a break from many other tourist attractions. I loved seeing the temples and art shops in this park What’s better is that there are nearby markets that you can visit after taking a break at Yongdusan Park.

Nice place to take some rest! Busan tower is not available because of COVID. We have to go up the slopes since they are located in mountain? I guess. There is also the temple in this park.

The view at Busan Tower is great. You can take a look at the city view. climbing a little bit, but it's nice! high recommend to visit Yongdusan Park in Busan. There is a shopping road near the park also. a lot of tourist and the local.

A good place to visit especially during sunset. The view is so beautiful. There are food stalls there so you can enjoy the sunset while eating

It's where the Busan Tower located, very convenient there are escalators to go up, no need to climb. the park is nice and well organised, there are lots of sitting areas to look over the busan city. On top of that you can go up onto the towel where you will see the 360° of the city. Alternatively, you can play a game "finding diamond 💎 " on the way.

Must go. Went there around 10pm after going Fashion street. Beautiful park and colourful tower. Got escalator up to the tower but not for down. Known as 40 steps stair. The escalator will seem stop n function when u go near. The entrance from ground floor is at the burger almighty shop.

Honestly I recommend going during the day! It’ll be prettier for taking pictures. There’s a Busan Duty Free store at the park too so if you’d like to visit, you can do so. It’s a hike up using stairs so if you’re bringing elderly, they might need more time to climb up. You’ll get to spot a few cats 🐈‍⬛ at the park, some people will bring their dogs for walks too.

This park comes alive at night with lots of bright lights and very pretty videos projected on the large structures. There are escalators or many steps from the streets below. On your way up, you will find some interesting temple like display. There is also a route for busses to make their way up there as well. I did not make it into the tower itself, or the build where they sell food. Guessing both would be like Seoul Tower in view and options.

Very easily accessible parks via escalators from the main shopping street - and it takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city immediately with its spacious environment and greeneries 👍🏻 This is also where the Busan tower resides, with multiple tour buses are parked - conveniently at a duty free gift shop too. A great place to visit after your meals to kill some calories and visit 2 attractions at one go!

Small but nice park with the Busan Tower as the centerpiece of attraction. You get a very good view of Busan from the top of the tower. There are times when there are traditional dance performance at the open air theatre.

To have a nice green space elevated slightly above the city was really pleasant. The tower is located at the top of the hill. I didn't climb it but the gift shops were nice distractions. There was also a perfomance on that day. There were also plenty of places to sit down and enjoy the scenery. There's a traditional pavilion, a small park with exercise equipment and a small manmade(?) waterfall at the front entrance.

The circuit track is approx. 4.5km along shady forest. It is nice and cool in the summer, especially with the sea breeze blowing. You can top up your water bottles with spring water along the circuit. I recommend getting off the main circuit and head down to isolated beaches or down to the lighthouse. The only negative aspect of the park is the tram and not allowing bicycle entry. Avoid using the tram unless you have mobility issues. The trams are leally loud and makes the ride unpleasant.

Entrance with ticket that allows you to take a train to the top. View point has a cafe (lvl 2) with glass panel for viewing After which you can take a short walk to go to the viewpoint by the sea. There are also few tents by the sea on the rock, which looks like dining service might be available. Beautiful and windy place, involves a fair bit of walking and climbing of stairs.

Opt to NOT take the train to experience the beautiful coastal trails. Especially beautiful when visiting during the autumn months. However, do take note that a full round hike can take about 1.5 hrs (on casual speed) including rest.

A really huge park to explore the forest and see wonderful views of the ocean. We started off riding a train that brings us to different spots around the park. There's a trail going to the hills with pine trees, there's a Buddhist temple that's been inside the park for a long time, there's an observatory, lighthouses, trails by the cliff etc. We spent about 4 hours inside but you can easily spend all day here if you really want to stop on every spot. There's also places to eat and and there are gazebos and picnic areas too. There's a spot near the beach where the "haenyeo" women (divers) serve freshly caught seafood. There's also a lot of spots to take really good photos. It's a great place to bring kids or have a date.

A must-visit-place in pusan! Please do buy a ticket for their tourist tram. It costs only 3000krw for a round trip. The hill is very steep om the entrance to the observatory. Panoramic ocean view from the cafe located on the 3rd floor in the observatory is one of the best spot in Pusan ever.

Great place with lots to see! The train takes you around the park and there are many landmarks and points of interest along the route. Toilets are everywhere and there are also cafes and shops along the route. I enjoyed the view over the water from the observatory and the lighthouse. Tickets cost a couple of thousand won each for the train and I think the parking had a small fee also. Probably best to visit in the summer, though even when I visited in winter it was a nice experience.

It's a great quiet place to visit! Beautiful nature, number of awesome spots for taking pictures, Buddhist temples-Taejongdae has it all. However, if you go during summer, make sure to take water and panama hats/caps with you as the road up the hill is steep and long!

This was one of my favorite places I've visited in South Korea. The walk itself was not difficult for me, it was a good hike through beautiful nature revealing the amazing view once you come to the lighthouse. It's a must visit.

It's not something noteworthy, in my opinion. It has a nice observatory, and the train ride was fun, but there way better places to visit in Busan

Absolutely had a blast regardless of amount of wind we had to face! We took the tour train to save some time and made sure to walk around once we were at the top and ceased the day. The wave was so dramatic from the wind and color of the sea was beautiful. I had such a great time with my childhood friend and perhaps it was my friend who added the moment of joy more than anything.

Beautiful park with stunning views of the cliffs and the ocean. The park does get a little hilly, so taking the train is definitely recommended to get around. Do stop for some snacks at the observatory too - staring at the endless depth of the ocean on a chilly afternoon while enjoying some piping hot eomuk soup was one of my favourite experiences. Lots of adorable cats at the observatory too!

Lit double-decker suspension bridge, similar to the one in Dalian - China, or the Oakland-Bay Bridge in San Francisco (only shorter in length) - United States. I generally love these types of bridges, so I can only give it a 5 star rating. Traffic can get quite dense at times so be advised of traffic jams in both directions. The bridge has beautiful lighting at night.

So beautiful! Especially at night! Highly recommend coming here in the late afternoon just before sunset and see the lights come on and stay until it gets dark.

Nice spot to spend a Saturday night. You can reach it by the 2 and 1 subway line.

Must see attraction in Busan at night with the lights and the night life around. If you have option go also on the bridge ask taxi to drive you on it or uber mind the fee of the bridge is 1000won which you will be asked to pay as extra from the driver but at that cheap price I would do it again and recommend to anyone.

The Gwangandaegyo (Korean: 광안대교) or Diamond Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Busan, South Korea. It connects Haeundae District to Suyeong District. The road surface is about 6,500 meters long, with the bridge as a whole spanning 7,420 meters. It is the second longest bridge in the country after the Incheon Bridge. Construction began in 1994 and concluded in December 2002, with a total cost of 789.9 billion won.[1] The bridge opened temporarily in September and October 2002 for the 2002 Asian Games. However, it was not officially opened until January 2003. The bridge made international headlines in February 2019 when a Russian cargo ship (which had just left from the Port of Busan and was heading to Vladivostok) crashed into the bridge. As a result, a five-metre wide hole was torn into the lower part of the bi-level bridge, but there were no injuries reported. The ship's captain was allegedly inebriated at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the incident.

magical beach, especially at night, where u can see Gwangan Bridge light up by colorful lights and fireworks from the boats below. right now, they also have a drone show every Saturday that have different themes and it’s really beautiful.

Lots of spots to eat, shop and take photos at around the beach. Parking is quite difficult though especially during the weekend so driving there is not recommended. This beach is great at night, with light fixtures, little market stalls and some buskers + karaoke machines, making it very lively 🎵🎤😎🌻☀️⛱️ (P.S. at the moment they’ve got BTS figurines on the beach hehe)

Nice place to relax. Sadly the weather wasn't the best when I was there, but still worth it. The view of the bridge crossing the ocean is pretty interesting. There are different sculptures along the beach too. If you visit at night, there's a nice atmosphere with bars and restaurants

The beach is beautiful and well maintained. We were in spring so too cold to swim but it was just nice to walk on the beach and take in the view with the towers and bridge that is lightened at night. There are so many coffees restaurants and bars along the beach that you can find whatever you need. Very nice place to chill and hang

Magical diamond beach where it is brightly lit at night. Here u could see Gwangan Bridge lit up by colorful lights and fireworks displayed from the boats below at different hour. A drone show every Saturday is showcased which have different themes and it’s advanced technology on display. Great attraction.

Beautiful experience with the cool bridge out in the water. The beach can get crowded, but who cares when the sun is shining and the atmosphere is fresh. Good place to collect beautiful rare shells too. The promenade is lined up with restaurants.

Gwangalli Beach or Gwangan Beach is located west of Haeundae Beach. It is located in a bay spanned by the Gwangan Bridge and covers 82,000 square meters in a length of 1.4 km and a width of 25 to 110 meters in a crescent shape with fine sand. Because of its popularity, city officials are pushing to improve water quality around the beaches. Adjacent are streets with restaurants, cafes and nightclubs. The beach is close to the Busan Yachting Center, which was used for the 1988 Summer Olympics sailing competitions. A car chase involving over 150 cars and 700 people was filmed in the Gwangalli Beach area for the 2018 film Black Panther. These drone shots are from November 2022.

Great place to hang out and enjoy people watching. Pretty low key and more of a local hangout. Some umbrellas are provided as well as showers, toilets AND “dust blowers”, which blow away all the sand that is stuck to your bag or body! So cool!

It's a beautiful beach with many bars and restaurants right on the beachfront. The nightview of the bridge is really nice, and there are many people.

Really like the beach, not sure if it is the best to me but definitely in the top two Busan beaches. As it was out of the season, difficult to say how busy can be there. Itself is quite long, great for a walk also there is plenty of branches to rest. Really recommend to visit if you are in Busan.

Beach is really fascinating and lively at night, full of shop and restaurants but costly. We're lucky for drone exhibiting at night. Wish everyone visit it.

This is a nice beach, with excellent, 180 degree views of the city. There is ample space in the sand for people to relax. There are separate beaches for stand up paddle board (SUP) and swimming. Several places to rent SUP boards with many to spare. Plenty of food and drink to be had in the surrounding shops.

I had an amazing time at the beach. It was my first time going to a beach and it was very special. Safe and there are a lot of life guards. Visible at all times. It wasn't too crowded since it was during the week. I'll come back when I visit Busan again.

It’s a beautiful beach with lots of activities such as performance by musical bands, water sports, etc. There are a lot of dining options facing the beach. There are plenty of places to just sit and watch either the ocean or the traffic movement and all the restaurants nearby. The bridge connecting different areas of the city looks extremely beautiful with all the lighting in the night.

Beautiful drone show at 8pm! It lasted around 5 minutes. Really nice night scenery of the beach, sea and bridge.

I came here on the weekend and there were quite a lot of people. The beach and surrounding is really clean, but it feels a bit cooler because it's already fall, and the sky was very beautiful even thought it was a little cloudy. There's a lot cafe and coffee shop along the beach street.

It's a lovely beach. the umbrella are super cute and nice to sit under for some shade. The water is clean, and the surrounding beach was too. I imagine in the summer that it would be very busy. There are many restaurants and cafes around the area. It's a great spot for a fun evening, too.

Nice long beach you can walk on. Very prestige and clean. Lots of eating places (albeit touristy) nearby for snacks/meals. Recommend coming at night. Had boats were doing some random fireworks when we went!

So unless you like hills, don’t walk up here from the train station. It is approx 5000w ride and will save your legs. There is a beautiful nature trail to walk while you are there and I would rate the walk as easy.

The first time, I hiked up from Beomeosa station. As I approached the first gate up the stone ramp, I felt the hike made seeing the temple more fulfilling. The second time, I took bus 90 up for a weekend temple stay. I learnt more from listening to the guide on our temple walk than from reading all the information boards. During the temple stay, I was able to experience and see the temple at 5am before it opens to public. There was a sense of peace and tranquility. The golden glow from the main Buddha pavilion as the only light in the darkness felt otherworldly.

It's worth a visit but doesn't have the real vibe. Nature on the trail is nice, especially if going up to one of the viewing points.

A beautiful temple that is definitely well worth a visit. The backdrop of the mountains is stunning, as is the temple itself. It is a working temple so you can see the monks participating in their daily prayers and rituals. I recommend the templestay programme if you are interested in learning more about Buddhism and the temple itself.

This place is beautiful!!! I visited here as part of the temple stay relaxation program. The temple is well maintained and beautiful painted in bright colours. Morning ceremonies start at 4:30 am and evening ceremony at 6pm. Well worth doing if you are interested in learning a little about Buddhism and meditation.

Walked up from the Beomosa subway station, not too far to walk up (just all uphill) and great views, although you can get the bus up/down. The temple has a lot of buildings, everything is very sacred and you can tell it's an active temple everything is much more subdued and hushed compared to others. Several areas are off limits due to meditation, but what your can see is still maintained and impressive. Visiting during the week and it's not busy at all, barely any visitors there mid-morning

Best temple I've seen in Korea. An active temple with monks doing rituals and walking around. Serene peaceful environment near the mountains where you can end or start a hike here. The history and size of the complex is amazing. Less touristic than palace in Seoul or Busan's Temple on the sea. More authentic experience.

Visited this place during Fall. It is beautiful! I recommend going in the morning because it will be not very crowded. I went there during the evening and it was crowded. There was also a traffic jam during my visit. So many visitors decided to walk up to the temple rather taking the bus.

Beomeosa was an amazing Buddhist temple complex to visit ! The views of the surrounding nature and mountains were breathtaking. The architecture was intricate, colourful and beautiful. There were no foreign tourists except for myself, just pilgrims praying at the temple. Worth travelling all the way from Seoul to Busan!

Busan city hall area is very big. It consists of Busan police headquarters, City council and a small park. We can visit by bus and metro easily. It serves some administrative works always as well as some events, conferences and ceremonis often. Then there are many people around. We can ask anything to information desk, buy some stuffs inside store and have a lunch with cheap prices.

Busan City Hall. Built with huge tax. Inside there are some facilities you can use with cheap price or for free. 부산 시청임. 세금 도둑들.

Your city would be world expo ready if you at least would consider putting out public information in an international language as well. It's extremely hard for tourists to get around.

The place is perfect for family with kids. They have plenty of sea animals and we can touch them too. There are some feeding schedule for the animals (I posted the flyer here) and also mermaid dance in the aquarium. We spent 2 hours inside and it was amazing.

The place is so cool and huge! Full of different animals. The construction there is so good that you can enjoy the aquariums in all kinds of different ways.

Aquarium is great. With Penguin feedings and shark feedings you can watch. It’s two floors 3 floors underground next to the beach. You wouldn’t know it’s down there except for the signs. Great experience. Easy to get around with the elevators with the stroller.

Ticket for 1 person was 29,000 won. The aquatic animals here are nothing new if you've been to other aquariums, but it's their display and other experiences that stand out. They have a fashion area which are creative fish tanks. They also have boats with see through bottoms that you can ride at an additional cost, but the hours are really limited.

The aquarium was worth a visit! It's very family friendly and it's bigger than I thought! You can experience a lot of things and also learned a lot! The place is good for foreigners because there are a lot of English signs and the staff also speaks very good English! Worth the try if you're going with your family!

It was really small, but enough to keep me entertained for 1-2 hours. I really enjoy the penguin 🐧 experience as they are very active and the sharks 🦈 feeding activity. Other than that, there's nothing much but it still a fun experience. I recommend going if you have kids and don't have a plan when you visit Busan. 😁 Recommended to buy from online as it's cheaper and there's no need to queue for ticket. Friendly staff, paid about 20,000++ won ( i forgot the exact amount 😅), a lot of souvenirs to choose and there's a lot of photo booth . A nice place to visit especially for those who have kid's.

Amazing place for kids to enjoy and learn. There are variety of sealife to explore. The most wonderful show was the mermaid show and shark show. Don't miss them. The best part is it is just next to Heaundae beach so easy to visit for foreigners. It was really wonderful experience.

Came here on weekend, it was not crowded. A good place to know more about sea life environment. Sometimes it’s hard for non-Korean speaking because they mainly have Korean. Don’t forget to check the showed time for events. I came here after 5:00 pm on Saturday so there was no show at that time.

I'm positively surprised after visiting this Sealife Busan Aquarium which is So cool and seems to be more attractive than the similar one in Bangkok, Thailand. Also their ticket price which is so friendly for tourists and Yes their staff are so service minded. So is their Mermaid show which made me Wow too.

Was on a tight schedule and wasn't able to spend more time there. I still enjoyed my time there looking at all the inhabitants at Sealife. Didn't get to see the otters though.

Aquarium isn’t extremely wow, but the extra experience you can do with the boat is a must do! We fed the fish and other animals in the large tank and turtles came very close. It was really cool!

An excellent little aquarium in the middle of Haeundae beach. Really well laid out with plenty of English explanation. They do love penguin feeding and shark feeding.

Absolute must when visiting Busan! Breathtaking views in all directions. The walk takes ~30 minutes but there is so many amazing viewpoints to stop at along the way and enjoy. It’s particularly beautiful at sunset / moon rise time.

Great coastal park and boardwalk. You can get a great view of Haeundae Beach from here. Good place to extend your beach walk and talk a stroll with some picturesque views and good Instagram spots.

The island is small with a boardwalk around, which ends at Haeundae Beach which makes it a great place for light exercise or relaxing walk. That aside, it also offers plenty of nice views of the sea as well as the city. I went during summer morning so the weather was alright, but the sun was extremely bright. There are stairs up and down the place, so it's not a very accessible place.

Excellent place to pass time, exercise or just enjoy the stunning view day and night.

Dongbaek-som (Dongbaek island) is one of the best park in the world. Dongbaek is Camellia flower in Korean. This island has full of camellias and pine trees. The air is always fresh. Best if you take a walk along the cliffs to view the beach. Good for daily hiking.

Dongbaek Island is next to Haeundae. Admission is free, but parking is expensive. The APEC summit was held on Dongbaek Island. The view is very beautiful along the sea. There is Haeundae Beach next to Dongbaek Island, so you can swim I recommend Paradise Hotel because the view of the sea and the spa is good.

It is quite an overwhelming place, as all (most) markets are so if you're looking for somehting more relaxed it's best to go to another place. This market is vibrant, alive and full of so many things to see, buy, taste, etc. the ladies who work at the stalls are so friendly and are inviting! The market has everything from pots and pans, bathroom essentials all the way to internation medication mostly from Japan as this market has a history related to that. Try some of the delicious streetfood on offer!

it feels like in Ubud cause the alley offers a lot of souvenirs like shirt, socks or maybe a keychain. I can’t explore more cause the limited time but it’s so good to buy a souvenirs to bring back home here. and because I got a flu there, I buy some flu medications there.. it’s so many drug store too. there’s a lot of cute cafes too but I’m not sure about the street food, because I found it more in the biff square

Really good market for food, you need to walk around to find the best places but it’s easy to find something you can eat, even as a vegan I found some dishes and sweets that I can eat, a must see in Busan !

The street food is good but we actually didn’t know what we ate. The texture and taste are good. The texture of one dish is like omelette in a clear soup and the other like sausage-looking squid balls haha

I like this market as it has authentic old Korean vibe. You can buy tasty Omuk (fish cake) that is one of the symbols of Pusan. Or you can try Korean street food. Recommend for visiting👍🏽

Love visiting every time we’re in Busan. The market's alleyways are lined with stalls selling diverse goods offering delicious Korean food in an open-seating street dining. Must visit in Busan.

It was one of the largest markets in Busan and Korea, where you can find almost everything from clothes to korean traditional herbs... for me, i enjoyed walking along the small walkingways and finding the way in the crowd And of course, the street foods with various korean foods.

A great place for tourists to experience the local culture. We had lots of fun roaming the streets and exploring the markets!

Gukje Market is in almost all tourists' itineraries and it's a great place to experience Korean "street food". Gukje opens late in the afternoon so make sure to visit for dinner and come with an empty and open-minded stomach. Most of the sellers are used to foreigners so don't worry about ordering. Just point at the menu/photo and show your fingers to let the vendors know how many of each item you want. Bring cash, its better to pay in cash as some only accept direct deposit or kakaopay. Don't be pressured to eat only in one place, you can hop around. Try sundae (blood sausage) in one store, then move to the other store to have jeon (Korean pancake) and so on. I gave it 3 stars because i believe you will have a better street food experience at noryangjin or at Sorae port. however, Gukje is closer to seoul and hotels so its still a wonderful place to add to your must visit list.

Gukje Market is set at the foot of the hill beneath the Yondusan park where's the Diamond tower, in vicinity of the BIFF square and Jagalchi market, so it's easy to visit when in the area. The market covers a very big area with several sections - clothes, household appliances, spices,...and of course food like anywhere in Korea. Very picturesque to see, have a stroll through and some quick bites

Local market.... With lots of local stuff. Great place to feel the local scene. Some shops close at early as 1700hrs while other opens later for the night.

We went to Gukje Market to try Busan's food culture and there's so much to try. There's also a lot of stores to buy almost everything from vegetables and meat, to clothes and wares and souvenirs to skincare and make up. It's such a big market and also historical because it's been here for a very long time. We started with the famous tteokbokki (5/5) and it was really delicious! We then had grilled baby octopus (4/5). Then we had bibimdangmyeon (spicy noodles) similar to japchae (3/5). Lastly, we ended with a samgyupsal kimbap (5/5).

Great market to buy almost everything, from household to food. We went there during the day, which was totally different than going at night. At night, there are a lot of street food stalls, serving some very nice dishes, each one specializing In a specific dish.

This market has everything for everyone. Clothing, footwear and accessories, trinkets, souvenirs, home decor, vegetables, fish and seafood, street food, cosmetics, and more. Majority of the stuffs were made in china stuffs. I really had to hunt for made in korea stuff. Loads of varieties of kimchi and fish cakes can be seen.

What a fun market! Everything from tools to kitchen supplies to hanboks and blankets! This market has something for everyone. I suggest you walk around, up and down the market streets, because you'll fall in love with this market! Also, there are so many good streets food vendors to try!

Very nice traditional shops. A must visit shops to buy the souvenir to your family and staff.

If you are into bargains as well as some affordable souvenir shopping, Gukje is really a nice place to start. We were staying somewhere around an hour away (Haeundae beach) but this market is very accessible via their subway, just look for how to get to Nampodong Station. Adjacent to this is their Fashion Street as well as the BIFF Square so there's really a lot of areas to explore.

Lot of options to go to restaurant either food court. This place is popular and crowd people, so be careful to coronavirus. Always wear you mask on, wash your hand often and sanitized it.
