So watch out for that! The lake and views are stunning and a must if you have time. We took the high speed train there from Shanghai, which was another experience 😊 Highly recommended to pay a visit 👍

There are different scenery sports like the pagoda, the three important causeways and the island with the 1 rmb note view. For me the best was to just sit down on a bench and enjoy. Coming here at night has a different charm: the lights on the boats and temples are beautiful and the stroll is much more peaceful; however all the sites will be closed for visit.

- This temple is located in Hangzhou city. It's so famous with a lot of visitors since very morning time and even more in the late morning till afternoon - There are 3 temples located in this huge area where Lingyin Temple is the biggest and it's at front after dropping from car or bus - The ticket process is so complicated. There are 2 steps for ticketing. One is at the main entrance and the another one is in front of Lingyin temple area - The gods houses are set in layer from down to top as represent gods position in the heaven - The temple and view is so beautiful. People come here for their believe and pray which make the place in peace even with a high number of people. It's worth to come!!!​

Must visit!! This place is beautiful, very large temple with many places to see & visit. To understand the culture & history I highly recommend booking a guide to show you around. There are also many accommodation options nearby right on the mountain which I stayed at and was able to explore this area for 2 days. There is a mountain (Fahua Temple) out the back of Lingyin temple area which has amazing views and was also a nice hike up the mountain which had a smaller temple up the top. Not to be missed if you are in Hangzhou. There are several temples buildings with different themes or purposes. The hall with 500 monks was fascinating, you could spend hours in that building looking at the myriads of emotion, activity, and expression captured in each sculpture. I have never seen anything quite like it.

45 RMB gets you access to the Temple with its various buildings, caves, and surrounding scenery. Could easily spend an entire morning or afternoon here. Expensive tea and a definite tourist trap it is, but the history and tranquility can be appreciated for quite some time. Can be crowded but so can any place on a weekend.

Incredibly beautiful and spiritual Buddhist temple from the year 326. So many amazing things to see, statues over 100 feet tall, sculptures in the sides of mountains, beautiful architecture and more. You can easily spend a whole day at the temple, be prepared to walk a lot of steps. There are many meal and snack options here as well. Definitely recommend visiting for truly breathtaking views you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately, there is almost nothing in English. So, for tourists without a guide, a lot of information is missed. However it worth the visit anyway. Expect to spend at least 3 or 4 hours in this visit.

Lingyin Temple (灵隐寺) in Hangzhuo is definitely a place to visit for those who are interested in Buddhist sculptures that were craved out from the hill rocks more than 1,000 years ago and the hall of the famous Master Jigong (济公活佛) for his wild and eccentric behavior and didn't follow Buddhist monastic rules by consuming alcohol and meat. There will be a lot of walking and steps to climb, so go in a pair of comfortable shoes. To go by the metro, can take Line 10 and Exit A, and there is a direct bus that could fetch you directly to the temple. Payment is best with Alipay (公交车) in Hangzhuo, of course 😁

One of the most famous Buddhist temples in China and the largest temple in Hangzhou. The temple was built more than 1600 years ago. Great wetland park. Best is to tour it on boat. There is also a very nice hotel inside the park and you can only get to the rooms by boat.

Xixi National Wetland Park in Hangzhou, China, is a really pretty place with small lakes, water ways and lots of nature. It has a peaceful walking path and has traditional buildings and wooden Chinese architecture. You can even take a boat ride and enjoy the quiet and beautiful surroundings. Tour bus is also available inside the garden to make it comfortable for the visitors. Refer to my photos for a perfect glimpse of the garden. Enjoy!

Beautiful place that we can enjoy natural environment.

A 5A rated natural park with numerous ponds and water channels. It is impossible to enjoy the whole view of this place in one day. Just seat on a boat and sailing between island or under small bridges. This area is well preserved, in spite of its near a huge city.

Pretty cool wetland to visit, however, seems a bit over-priced. Even though they say it's a natural wetland, I will feel like it's geared towards tourists too much, so the convenience of boat rides, shops, and little restaurants among the wetland area gave me a feeling that it ISN'T so natural. The roads have been paved over the land to make easy access for tourists, and that contradicts the concept of wetland to me. Also, the explanations done by the tour guide on the boat was only available in Chinese, so I assume I missed a lot of important information to get to know this wetland area better. I still like the fact that China is putting consideration in creating wetlands, which are good for species habitat and water. I wish the tour would involve less civilization and give a chance for more engaging experience of the nature itself.

Beautiful wetlands, calm oasis if you can avoid the crowds. There are interesting shops in here, e.g. homemade rice wine etc. boat tours are worth it, and you can see much of the park this way. get off and walk wherever you can.

Last month i was joined this activities. The name of this activity is “beauty run” . The location in xixi wetland national park this place are very beautifull they have many a lot of garden and many kinds of flower in this area. You can enjoy with your friend to make some picnic or look around their nature. So fresh air and their facilities are nice. Don’t worry about the price. I think it’s not expensive to enter this attractions.

A massively impressive Song dynasty- theme park with multiple performances which will wow you. Lots of variety of food and drinks. The main performance in Theatre 1 was spectacular with a display of CGI, special effects, gymnasts, flying stunts, and elaborately dressed dancers. The earthquake performance in Theatre 5 is worth your time too. Invoked many emotions. There are also VR and 3D activities eg dinasour and Star Wars experiences. The entire parked is covered ie you can enjoy the place rain or shine. My only gripe is the fact that everything is in mandarin and therefore one misses out on many nuances if one isn’t a native mandarin speaker. Nrbethelrsd I still enjoyed the experience.

The #1 show for the town is the highlight. Good choreography and performance. The rest of the town was ok with some eateries here n there. Maybe we went there off peak , not many other shows avail and quite quiet. Most pple leave after #1 show ended

Don’t go in weekend, please go in weekdays, so many local mainland chinese people, they are so rude and impolite. If you go here make sure to watch theater show it cost almost 200 rmb, will tell you stories about this place and white snake legend (very famous in china its about love beetwen human and semi-demon) This place is huge you can take picture for a whole day. Remember i went here in weekdays. Dont go here in weekend.

Great performances, minor niggle would be that there is no option to listen in english. But this doesnt stop the costumes and dancing from being amazing to watch. Well worth a visit!

Hangzhou is my favorite Chinese city. It reminds me of commercial Savannah, Ga or Atlanta. Yes, I am beginning to miss the USA. It's November with cool mornings and evenings with mild temperatures. The green tea factory is here and the scenery is stunning. I want to return. If you come 4 a visit, staying at the 5 star Grand Park Hotel is a must.

A garden by the West Lake. It was beautiful with meandering lakes, rocks, and grass field. However, because I went in December, there were no flowers or lush-green trees. I wish I came here in the Spring to see all the colorful plants to awe upon. Even though it was a winter season, I saw many couples posing for their wedding photos. Imagine how beautiful it would be in the spring and summer! I will definitely recommend this place to go in the Spring!

Taiziwan park is the most pretty garden I have ever seen. She has unique view no matter which season comes. As a Hangzhounese, I call on, If you want to luxuriate in the beauties of the park, Please do not litter.

Nice park to visit around March/April when flowers start to blossom, but might be overhelmed by tourists and wedding photographers, not recommended on sunny week-end because of the crowd.

I can never forget the first time I got there. It was especially beautiful at springtime, when they planted tulips on the garden field. And there were also plum trees, blossoming under the spring sun. Go up furthermore, I found a nice small stream flowing right into the West Lake. What I noticed that there were so many couples shot their "pre-wed" around the stream. It was a lovely place to spend with your couple, packed with unforgettable memories to take home....

We went to this restaurant on the water accessible by boardwalk and with nice views. It was a little hot as they were not too careful about closing the doors! Good was very good, we had some mushrooms and an excellent fish in a sweet and vinegar sauce. Watch for fish bones and usual in China.

Probably my favourite site that I visited in the space of 2 weeks, this pagoda is very old and still in it's original form it's unique.

Also known as the pagoda of six harmonies. Nice view from the top, it's possible to go up and have a view of the river. The ticket fee is around 25 rmb if I remember it well.
