Really nice plaza. Many visitors, and places to eat around it. Easy to get there. We parked about 5 minutes away. There was a wedding happening when we visited. Nice to hang out with friends and family. Roads are like the Spanish days, and many restaurants and stores to buy Souvenirs around. Also shops to buy tours and exchange money. Nice small walk all around.

Amazing place to visit. Safe and store owners are very welcoming, and there is no pressure to buy also reasonable prices. Thursdays are the best days to visit. Highly recommend to visit about a 20 limited walk from royal solaris where we stayed if you prefer to take an Uber about 3 dollars or 69 pesos

Really nice small town. If you're renting a car and heading out to Cabo San Lucas, make sure you a lot a few bullets on your itinerary for San Jose. If you're the peaceful and artsy kind, this is the best place for you. They have really nice restaurants around the small town, they have an art fair day every Saturday? Maybe, if I rememver it correctly.

Enjoyed wandering around old San Jose del Cabo. Previously had only come during Thursday night Art Walk, which is fun but crowded. Weekday mornings are quiet & enjoyable too. Wandered up & down side streets into shops & art galleries.

Love the quaint, picturesque little town. Its small narrow streets full of souvenirs shops, restaurants, etc. It's colonial look makes it very traditional and cultural embraced. This place is a must go on your list whenever you visit San Jose Del Cabo. Also, local artists will portray their beautiful art in the middle of the plaza starting at 4pm.

It was a fun Thursday evening checking out the many vendors selling their paintings and hand made goods. The flag lowering was wonderful to watch. We spent some time enjoying the show. The plaza has nice shops to purchase silver, clothes and such, and restaurants to have a pleasant meal at.

Plaza Mijares is a must-visit destination in San José del Cabo. The lively central square is beautifully decorated with trees, monuments, and striking buildings, making it the perfect place to start your tour of the city. The plaza is also a hub for cultural events, including concerts and dance performances. One of my favorite events is the Art Walk, which takes place every Thursday evening between November and June. During the Art Walk, you can stroll through the Gallery District, visit art galleries, sip wine, and dine in local restaurants. It’s a wonderful way to experience the local art scene and culture. I highly recommend visiting Plaza Mijares and attending the Art Walk if you have the chance!

We went for the Thursday night art walk and WOW were we impressed with the artists, the area was beautiful and has lots of food and drink options. Highlight of our trip. Excursions were being sold from our resort, but we took an Uber and felt completely safe

This is a great typical Mexican plaza. It has small shops all around and easy to access restrooms (for 5 pesos). When we went, it was pretty empty, but it had a more authentic feel to it than any other area we visited in Los Cabos. I'd highly recommend checking this area out. Tons of breweries and food spots all over and no one pressuring you into buying anything.

The art walk on Thursdays is awesome !! Local artists display their talents, and you will see some street performers as well. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Grab a drink or a churro, walk around, and enjoy the AMAZING artwork !

Went down on the Thursday for their art festival. It was fantastic while we were having a getaway from our resort. Love the food. Loved the activities in the streets. And the art was magnificent!

It was not crowded at all. Seems like a place that does get busy in the evenings. The Church overseeing the plaza makes it even better. Lot of food choices and suvenior shops around the plaza. Felt that most suvenior shops were over priced. Visited again on a thursday evening and the plaza had come to life with Art walk. The crowd was enjoying tge food, the art and the music. Changing tge review to 5 stars. I highly recommend visiting thursday evening around 6 and staying till late. Book in advance the restaurent you may want to eat at as no popular places will take walk ins on thursday.

A nice, family-friendly town square. The old mission at one end, a large Mexican flag at the other. Small, tourist-oriented shops around the square. A good place to spend a couple hours sight seeing.

You must come here and start your adventures through this very beautiful town. Lots of quality shops with beautiful goods. Don’t skip this town .. way better than Cabo San Lucas for shopping and art!

Spent many evenings on our vacation passing through here for various meals and always felt it was a lovely atmosphere. The art festival on Thursdays is amazing and so much talent!

We traveled from Los Cabos by Uber to spend a day in San Jose Los Cabos. It was definitely worth the time and money. There are tons of cute shops and restaurants. The town is just lovely. It is a totally different atmosphere than Cabo. I am told it is particularly enjoyable on Thursdays, but we went on a Wednesday. You can use the bathrooms in City Hall for free. We took a taxi back and asked them to match the Uber price....they were trying to charge quite a bit more.

Beautiful plaza with old Mexico charm, the whole area is fantastic and plenty to do! Friday night after 6 pm is the art festival and flea market selling all kinds of wears. The restaurants are plentiful and charming. The food is spectacular.

Local artists work amazing work.. live music. Street food. Definitely a highlight of San Jose del Cabo

Great place for boutique shopping and great dining with lots of choices. Thursday evening art walk in the plaza is a must do. Lots of great, original artwork from local vendors.

The whole experience with the dolphin and the trainer was amazing. Exactly as advertised and more . The reason for only 2 stars is the entire time we were interacting with the dolphins was for photo opportunities . I knew that there would be a charge for photos. However, the price for the photos was insane ! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we both just wanted one photo to remember the amazing experience. However , the package was for all pictures taken . It roughly worked out to around to be around $350 USD . They had no interest in just selling one . Dolphins and trainer 5 stars . Pictures 1 star . Left a bad taste on an otherwise excellent experience.

My husband and I did the dolphin swim, we had a great time, the picture package at the end was very spendy we opted for the best package, for 334usd, we should have just got the basic package. However this was truly a once in a lifetime experience, so we enjoyed it to the fullest.

Fantastic for kids and grown-ups alike. Clean and modern business with professional trainers offer a well managed experience in small groups of 8 per trainer. A photographer captures all the key moments with beautiful photos and videos available for purchase after the dolphin encounter. We had a great time.

The first red flag was the size of the pools. It was evident that they were far too small for animals of such size and energy. The dolphins seemed restricted in their movements, unable to showcase the natural behaviors that make them truly remarkable. It was disheartening to witness these intelligent beings confined to a space that barely allowed them to swim freely. The lack of space not only affected the dolphins' physical well-being but also compromised the quality of the interactive experience. The scheduled performances were limited and repetitive, likely due to the limited space available. This constrained environment failed to provide the engaging and educational encounter we had hoped for, leaving us with a sense of missed opportunity. Additionally, the unnatural concrete surroundings of the pools did little to replicate the dolphins' natural habitat. The absence of enrichment elements and the sterile environment only emphasized the stark contrast between the dolphins' confined quarters and the vastness of the ocean they should rightfully call home. In conclusion, the pools being too small for dolphins at Cabo's Dolphin Encounter significantly impacted our overall experience. As patrons concerned about the welfare of these incredible marine mammals, we left with a heavy heart, hoping that future improvements will be made to ensure a more ethical and enriching encounter for both visitors and, most importantly, the dolphins themselves.

Very cool! Santiago was our trainer for the dolphins! So great! Audrey was our dolphin and she was beautiful! We did the adventure ride and it was fun! Great staff, clean shop and toilets. Jorge was our photographer. I thought the price to get your pictures at the end was way too much. $240 for our group of 4. (It was $120 for us to go on the dolphin adventure ride.) So I just ended up getting one picture for $35. You cannot take your own pictures. I could've gotten just my pictures for $96, that's pretty much what I paid to be with the dolphins. But amazing experience, would recommend!

Came here with my wife and kids, definitely not for young kids! My 5 year old and 8 year old didn't want to get in the dirty murky waters...dolphin are the only nice thing about this place. Cameras are not allowed and the reason why is because they will gouge you if you want to purchase the pictures they will set you back $45 USD for single person lol I wouldn't recommend it and will definitely not come back! I also purchased 2 small stuffed animals and a Tshirt for my kids and that set me back over $70 USD. Way better things to do for the amount you pay!

This was by far the BEST excursion we did while on vacation. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! We purchased the Royal Swim package which included over 6 unique, interactive activities with 2 dolphins (Tango and Cleopatra) our sealife expert guide, Gabriel was knowledgeable and wonderful to interact with, with our English speaking group of 6. That package came with all of the dolphin encounter photos taken by their professional photographer, a camel ride, sealion encounter, speed boat ride along the coast of San Jose Del Cabo and a buffett lunch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ENCOUNTER FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!!

Went to Dolphin Discovery Los Cabos with a group of friends. I've been with dolphins before in Punta Cana and conditions were much better here. The dolphins seemed happy and weren't covered in scares like I seen before. Danni the trainer, was perfect 👌 clear and loud English and answered all my questions

The whole experience was worth it. All 14 of us had so much fun. Only bad thing was the picture prices . For 2 people it's like 170.00 so you might have 6 pictures or if your lucky you get 20 , but it's the same price . We where 14 and they didn't do group packages .

Had a great time with the kids. Trainers were fun. The sea lions made everyone laugh.The photos are extremely expensive although remember this is a very tourism based area. This is how they make their money and is just part of the vacation experience. Was a great experience from beggining to end, the transport was great and we did buy the photos. I'm glad we did because now we have these memories to hold onto not just in our head.

Highly recommend it this once in a lifetime experience. We purchased the top notch ticket and it was well worth it. We were 1 of 3 groups and jealousy reared its ugly head because all we kept hearing was "we should have bought the tickets that they paid for.

Never been to any other missions so I don't know how it compares but it was neat to see while at the art Walk.

We visited this location as a result of the tour guide bringing us by this church location. Prior to going inside this specific church location, our tour guide gave us a mini history lesson on how the church was destroyed and rebuilt through the last hundred years of its existence. The tour guide also covered a few of the involved people related to the church history. The outside of the church appears to be renovated and painted. The inside of the church had members inside praying upon our entry, so the group was extremely quiet and respectful of the individuals sitting in the church praying as we walk through to take photographs and view the church. We did find that the church is still functional on several days during the week.

Nice, small local Catholic church serving the residents of San Jose del Cabo. I went for a Christmas mass, and it was packed with the parishioners. Glad to celebrate the birth of Jesus in a foreign country, but with the same faith :)

Interesting and iconic site to visit while exploring San Jose del Cabo. The church sits on the plaza in downtown San Jose del Cabo. This is an active church, so please enter respectfully and ensure you don’t interrupt any services or activities. If you’re a religion, history, and/or picture buff, you’ll love this small, charming mission-style house of worship. Take a moment to appreciate the building and the history as an important part of your understanding of San Jose del Cabo. Recommended.

The grounds are beautiful for walking and viewing while you wait for your reservation time. It’s a perfect location to spend the day relaxing. Our teenagers had fun spotting iguanas and playing w/ the farm cats. All of the shops were on the boutique/ high end of quality and pricing. Food at the restaurant was tremendous - DEFINITELY make reservations in advance. Everywhere we went, the staff was very friendly and happy and helpful. Dirt road to flora farm looks questionable but don’t worry - totally worth the trip. Super easy to get a cab or Uber up here but I absolutely would not recommend walking - it’s about 1mi on a windy, narrow dirt road.

Flora Farms is perhaps our Favorite place in Cabo. The food is deliciously fresh. We always start with the White Rosemary Potato pizza!! This past trip 6-15-23 the complimentary starter was a Red Beet Puree made w/farm Fresh yogurt 😋 I could have totally eaten a bowl of this chilled yummy. On a Disappointing Side sadly the Famous Pork Chop was extremely fatty again. Had it in January 2021 and brushed it off to Covid. But this trip it wasn't any better. They were out of the LARGE CUT, Again so went with the medium. The flavor was delicious and loved the smashed potatoe!! I don't understand how you can be out of the large cut when its a staple on your Menu. Posted photo of PC this trip and one from 2017. Would appreciate it if Flora Farms could advise as to quality of Pork Chop. We will continue to eat with you on future trips Thank You Side Note: The sour dough bread & whipped butter are sinfully amazing 👏 😋

Really enjoyed visiting Flora Farms. We took an Uber from our hotel and had no problem getting there. The last little bit of the drive is a dirt road, but very manageable - even for a compact car. Stopped in for an amazing breakfast (best meal of the trip). Highly recommend the quiche. The grounds around the restaurant are beautiful and worth exploring after your meal. We'll definitely be back soon!

Fabulous place. Just a heads up, you need to make reservations ahead of time because this is the place to eat and mingle when you're in Cabo Sun Lucas. The farm is about 30min outside the city and all the products are grown there. They also have a nice selection of eclectic boutiques so we recommend you to get there ahead of time. Food just disappeared before I had a chance to take a picture, so all you get is the appetizer and desert. 😂Live music, amazing view of the gardens, fancy drinks and beautiful people. Life is good. 👍

If you find yourself in Cabo, you need to come to Floras Farm. The food was good (we had basic food so I can’t really rave), the drinks were amazing and the service was extraordinary. The atmosphere was so relaxing and we really loved the vibe of the entire property. You can tell the place was developed with a lot of love and thoughtfulness. We look forward to our next dinner here.

Definitely worth a visit for the experience. The grounds are beautiful! It’s like a park with a lake. The farm to table concept is fabulous and you can see and taste that their ingredients are fresh! It has a bakery, bar, outdoor patio seating, lots of boutique shops, and most surprising to me, private cottages and a pool for timeshare owners. The farm is truly charming. Loved walking through the gardens. I had a pasta dish with shrimp. Very tasty, but a bit pricey. Shrimps were sliced in the middle so it looked like I got more shrimps. I’ve never seen that done anywhere else. I had to try their infamous Bloody Mary and it didn’t disappoint. Loved it! It had so many veggies that it felt like I had a side veggie dish. I truly enjoyed the farm, walking the grounds eating an ice cream cone, and enjoying some of the animals, iguana, ducks, birds, butterflies.

This is a destination, not just a farm. The people working were very pleasant, friendly and competent when we visited for a salsa making class and lunch. The cocktails were excellent, the lunch fresh more than anywhere else. Highly recommend coming here for a getaway that doesn’t feel like it’s in Cabo with the resorts. You won’t be disappointed and it’s great for kids and large parties.

This place is an absolute dream! Looooved it here! Did the farm tour and then had dinner reservations for 530pm. The food was delicious! Wait staff and atmosphere were amazing! I can't wait to go back.

Oh my god this place was amazing! Great atmosphere, the cocktails and food were delicious. Reasonably priced, I was expecting everything to cost a lot more. There was live music which was really good and at a reasonable volume. They also handed out cold towels because it was SO hot out when we went.

This farm-to-table spot in Cabo is awesome, a definite go-to in San Jose. They've got a bunch of tasty options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You should make a reservation if you're planning dinner, but no worries, the vibe is super relaxed. The food is just downright yummy. We ate the pork chop with risotto, the pizza with arugula and both were seriously fantastic. For breakfast, their sandwiches and fresh juices are a great way to start your day. Also the cocktails are good. Plus, you can take a casual stroll around the place, snap some cool pics, and it's become a regular stop for me every time I'm in Cabo. And, a nice surprise, the waiters even brought us two glasses of champagne on the house. We loved the attention here! It's just that good!

We first went for dinner and then booked again to back for the farm tour & lunch as we lived it so much. The atmosphere both day and evening is wonderful - relaxed elegance, fabulous live music which did not overwhelm your conversation, vibrant and fun with amazing food and service. In particular we want to mention Eliud Ramirez for his service when we went for dinner - he and his support team guided us through the menu and options and was such fun. Roberto was our host for lunch and he was equally helpful and made our daytime experience special also. Beautiful place and the owners have developed a wonderful place.

Excellent restaurant north of Cabo and definitely worth the drive. The pork chop was massive and everything was delicious. The farm’s dog also roamed the outdoor dining area and happily took any scraps. Book a reservation in advance of tour trip to Cabo.

This restaurant was recommended to me by some friends and I did not know that this restaurant is part of a cooking resort. This is truly a farm to table restaurant because they grow and farm everything they serve. The margaritas were top notch. The yellow tail tuna was a great appetizer. The pasta dish fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Also, take a walk around the area. This is a $$$-$$$$ priced restaurant.

We ventured to Flora Farms off of a recommendation from a friend and we are so glad we did. The ambiance is charming with an upscale but laid back feel. The food is casual yet incredibly fresh and delicious while the craft cocktails are refreshing and vibrant. (The lavender martini was fabulous.) While touring the turtle sanctuary we enjoyed the fantastic homemade ice cream (the rocky road is some of the most decadent chocolate I’ve ever had). We ended our trip with a visit to the charming shops where I purchased some fragrant soaps from the most delightful staff. We will definitely be back!

Lovely farm-to-table restaurant with live music at lunch. Located off a windy dirt road, this hidden gem with plenty of parking has cute shops, a tiny grocery and an open-air restaurant. We did not have a reservation but still snagged a table for lunch on a Thursday. Great ambiance, service and food. We had the beet hummus, side salad, margarita pizza and homemade bread. Highly recommend!

The food here tasted awesome, presentation looks a little funny but it tasted really good. The service however, I think they were just really busy, but we waited a very very long time to get our meal and a long time to pay our bill. We spent longer than we wanted to here since we had to wait so long. But the atmosphere is great, the food is awesome. It’s a hidden gem in Cabo. I highly recommend going here!

One of the best places we've EVER visited worldwide. Beautiful surrounding gardens with iguanas and turtles roaming. Outstanding food including wood fire pizzas and the cocktails are out of this world. The smokey mezcal hibiscus margarita might be the best cocktail I've ever had! Absolute gem of a place with incredible service and atmosphere.

Just as good as everyone says it is - food is great, service is great, atmosphere and decor is great. We ordered two starters, one pizza, a pasta, and dessert for two, plus drinks. I think this would have been the perfect amount had we not finished the large basket of fresh bread that the restaurant provided. Of all the dishes we tried, the only one that we would not recommend is the tuna tartare; the fish was fresh, but the dish was nothing special. Would definitely recommend the chicken liver pate! There’s enough in that little jar for a family, and it was amazing to have with the fresh bread.

If you're within an hours drive from here, go. You won't regret it. I've eaten pizza in New York, Chicago, LA, Australia...this was the best pizza I've ever eaten. Salads were incredible. Sangria jug was next level. Service was superb. The atmosphere and gardens were brilliant. GO!!! DO IT!!!!

We had a wonderful night at Flora Farms. The food is as fresh and full of taste as you could only hope for. The waiters were fast and attentive and checked in on us regularly. While not the cheapest, every item was well worth its price. We planned on going here once during our vacation and are now trying to find time to come back again. We highly recommend coming here.

I’ve very mixed feelings about this place. The food & concept is great but the atmosphere feels very commercialized and catered towards the Instagram crowd. They have expensive shops, villas, spa, grocery, cooking classes, etc. that it feels like they’re trying to make a profit in every corner. It’s also sensory overload with A LOT of noise that when we got in the car we all immediately relaxed. And be prepared to pay a lot for this experience, I’ve been told locals can’t afford this place. Don’t get me wrong, the food & service is great but if it was scaled back to 1/4 of its size it would perfect. And add more authentic vibes with Spanish music and local (Mexican) ingredients and you’ve got a winner. Tip: families tend to show up on the earlier side while the older crowd shows up at 7pm.

We went here on the recommendation of every person we've known that went to Cabo and overall it was pretty good. As an experience, the entire property is great and fun to explore. In addition to that, the drinks were very delicious. They had unique twists on classics and the wine selection was impressive. We had a very large group so we ordered a lot of different dishes but I think overall we were all pretty satisfied. There are a lot of veggie options but everything was good.

This place blew me away. It’s beautiful. Every detail is covered. The spa was incredible and it received the best massage I’ve ever had. The food is so unbelievably delicious and creative. The service is on par. The shops are interesting (although pricey..) but I managed to find a few affordable souvenirs. We didn’t fragrance experience and now I have a scent to connect me to my amazing time that I spent there. I can’t wait to return.

Relaxing evening visit and dining experience for six of us. Everyone raved about it. Our expectations were high and they delivered. It’s pricey, but I felt it was well worth it considering what was provided. True farm to table experience and the venue was packed. A great sign. Excellent and attentive service. Will definitely return.

Great experience, highly recommended. Situated in a farm environment, the food is fresh and menu updated seasonably. We thought the pizzas and desserts were best.

Big Beach. Not much to do tho... Not swimmable, open sea. There's a place called "11-11" right at the entrance. Used to be the Holiday inn Hotel now abandoned and reconditioned as a skate park. Other than that there's only sand and the ocean. There's a Turtle Camp for sea turtles conservation, they catalog them, count them and every now and then they let people join the release of them to the sea.

I didn’t know how to rate this spot as it is luscious, lovely, has incredible birdwatching - but is flooded so the trails and viewpoints are not currently accessible.

Beautiful and peaceful. Love seeing the wildlife, brown, pelicans, egrets and more.

Getting to the beach was easy, but going up would have required rubber boots. Quite a few birds; not many people. Very few parking spots near the trailhead. Several on road. Hotel being rebuild might change things in future.

The estuary, an important eco system, ends near the ocean. We were staying at Royal Solaris and one day walking along the beach going east we came upon the estuary after passing the Holiday Inn resort. We saw lots of birds and fish. There were a few storks, ducks and herons. Sea gulls were flying above and looking for food. We saw them diving down and catching little fish. Mornings and the afternoons are the best times to visit the estuary. In the afternoon we saw several docile brown pelicans. There is a small elevated rickety wood viewing platform. You can get a better view of the wetlands from there. Saw schools of small fish gliding along the edges. We also saw sandpipers along the water's edge trying to grab fish. The whole place is quite active, and peaceful at the same time.

Great horseback ride. Lencho and his other guide were awesome.

You can connect with the estuary trail next to the Holiday Inn, or directly from the beach. Don't count on walking trails along either side of the river. In drier months the mouth of the estuary is closed and you can walk along the beach directly to the Reclamation marina, east of San Jose del Cabo. Be sure to climb up the viewing tower for a 360-degree view of the entire area (see photos).

Stumbled upon it while walking the beach. Wasn't sure if safe and ok to go inside more but appeared so. Could be a nice break from the resorts.

Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!! The art is fun to interact with but not to buy! They grossly over charged us ---- $2600 instead of $130 claiming that they "accidentally" charged us in US dollars. Its been over a month and this still has not been rectified. It didn't just happen to us, it happened to everyone in our party. We have had multiple correspondences with them claiming they are "working on it". I don't know if it's a scheme to pay their rent or what the heck is going on but I'm officially done!! PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION or DON'T proceed at all especially if you are from outside the area!!! UPDATE: 6 weeks have passed and STILL NOT FIXED. After saying repeatedly "they are working on it" and nothing happening we were forced to dispute the charge with our bank. And I found another review on a different site that mentions this same thing happening to them!

It’s an interactive art gallery. Very spiritual and colorful. Some of the paintings come to life using your phone or you can touch/play some of the pieces and one piece of art was a keyboard. It wasn’t busy when I went in the evening which allowed me to interact with all the art work.

What a wonderful experience. The artwork is spectacular and the special features are amazing. I would recommend a visit.

I can't say enough about how special this gallery is. It comes to life as soon as you enter the front foyer. What a wonderful creative and moving experience. This gallery holds a special place in our heart and will definitely purchase items from the website at later occasions .

This gallery was open, bright and gave you the feeling of love. And all the works are interactive. The Gallerist had quite the welcoming personality and was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. This is a must if visiting San Jose.

This no longer exists. The staff at the harbour said it was destroyed in a hurricane.

It's been closed for year's. Google needs to update the listing. A guard told us it was wiped out by hurricane Odile then sold to a private party and never reopened.

Show was not really worth for high price, I really get upset because I was expecting Better Production. Stage and lighting was not professional, it was hard follow all production because of space. Place was not attractive and lots of bugs. It was not comfortable at all. Food and drink options was so poor. They charge $185 for VIP and it is worth of everything only $75 Max.

We drove up to the place while on a tour. The guide told us that there were many species of cactus grown at the nursery. We did not go in as there were a few other tours inside and this was not on our original tour but the guide wanted us to see it...one of the many little bonus side trips he included for us. It is a nursery for cacti...yeah?!?

It is closed, staff in the area said it has been purchased by a private party The paths and gates to it are now pad locked shut unfortunately.

Wirikuta as a very relaxing and pretty place to go for the evening. The cactus garden nursery is very interesting. The evening show was wonderful and it relates to the native people. Don't expect flash and exciting things. It is an interesting show at a slower pace than a Las Vegas show. Save your money on the dinner. Eat before you go. We had a good time.

The show is decently good . I totally recomend the $20 bar , red wine was good . The only reason for 4 stars is , because nobody tells you about bringing repeallent for the mosquitos , and they dont sell it (which would be the american way ) .

This place is incredible. You can rent a bike and explore the whole place. We saw cacti, the sculpture garden, dolphins, sea lions, drank margaritas and explores the beach. This is a hidden gem.

If you're looking for solitude and nothing but sand, heat and waves this place is for you!

This is a beautiful beach near the hotels in San Jose del Cabo. The entrance is at the end of the hotels on the main road if you are not staying in one of the hotels front beach. Beautiful sunrise. You can walk on it and get a nice tan, but it's dangerous for swimming. Not recommended for swimming. Many waves.

Really nice plaza. Many visitors, and places to eat around it. Easy to get there. We parked about 5 minutes away. There was a wedding happening when we visited. Nice to hang out with friends and family. Roads are like the Spanish days, and many restaurants and stores to buy Souvenirs around. Also shops to buy tours and exchange money. Nice small walk all around.

Amazing place to visit. Safe and store owners are very welcoming, and there is no pressure to buy also reasonable prices. Thursdays are the best days to visit. Highly recommend to visit about a 20 limited walk from royal solaris where we stayed if you prefer to take an Uber about 3 dollars or 69 pesos

Really nice small town. If you're renting a car and heading out to Cabo San Lucas, make sure you a lot a few bullets on your itinerary for San Jose. If you're the peaceful and artsy kind, this is the best place for you. They have really nice restaurants around the small town, they have an art fair day every Saturday? Maybe, if I rememver it correctly.

Enjoyed wandering around old San Jose del Cabo. Previously had only come during Thursday night Art Walk, which is fun but crowded. Weekday mornings are quiet & enjoyable too. Wandered up & down side streets into shops & art galleries.

Love the quaint, picturesque little town. Its small narrow streets full of souvenirs shops, restaurants, etc. It's colonial look makes it very traditional and cultural embraced. This place is a must go on your list whenever you visit San Jose Del Cabo. Also, local artists will portray their beautiful art in the middle of the plaza starting at 4pm.

It was a fun Thursday evening checking out the many vendors selling their paintings and hand made goods. The flag lowering was wonderful to watch. We spent some time enjoying the show. The plaza has nice shops to purchase silver, clothes and such, and restaurants to have a pleasant meal at.

Plaza Mijares is a must-visit destination in San José del Cabo. The lively central square is beautifully decorated with trees, monuments, and striking buildings, making it the perfect place to start your tour of the city. The plaza is also a hub for cultural events, including concerts and dance performances. One of my favorite events is the Art Walk, which takes place every Thursday evening between November and June. During the Art Walk, you can stroll through the Gallery District, visit art galleries, sip wine, and dine in local restaurants. It’s a wonderful way to experience the local art scene and culture. I highly recommend visiting Plaza Mijares and attending the Art Walk if you have the chance!

We went for the Thursday night art walk and WOW were we impressed with the artists, the area was beautiful and has lots of food and drink options. Highlight of our trip. Excursions were being sold from our resort, but we took an Uber and felt completely safe

This is a great typical Mexican plaza. It has small shops all around and easy to access restrooms (for 5 pesos). When we went, it was pretty empty, but it had a more authentic feel to it than any other area we visited in Los Cabos. I'd highly recommend checking this area out. Tons of breweries and food spots all over and no one pressuring you into buying anything.

The art walk on Thursdays is awesome !! Local artists display their talents, and you will see some street performers as well. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Grab a drink or a churro, walk around, and enjoy the AMAZING artwork !

Went down on the Thursday for their art festival. It was fantastic while we were having a getaway from our resort. Love the food. Loved the activities in the streets. And the art was magnificent!

It was not crowded at all. Seems like a place that does get busy in the evenings. The Church overseeing the plaza makes it even better. Lot of food choices and suvenior shops around the plaza. Felt that most suvenior shops were over priced. Visited again on a thursday evening and the plaza had come to life with Art walk. The crowd was enjoying tge food, the art and the music. Changing tge review to 5 stars. I highly recommend visiting thursday evening around 6 and staying till late. Book in advance the restaurent you may want to eat at as no popular places will take walk ins on thursday.

A nice, family-friendly town square. The old mission at one end, a large Mexican flag at the other. Small, tourist-oriented shops around the square. A good place to spend a couple hours sight seeing.

You must come here and start your adventures through this very beautiful town. Lots of quality shops with beautiful goods. Don’t skip this town .. way better than Cabo San Lucas for shopping and art!

Spent many evenings on our vacation passing through here for various meals and always felt it was a lovely atmosphere. The art festival on Thursdays is amazing and so much talent!

We traveled from Los Cabos by Uber to spend a day in San Jose Los Cabos. It was definitely worth the time and money. There are tons of cute shops and restaurants. The town is just lovely. It is a totally different atmosphere than Cabo. I am told it is particularly enjoyable on Thursdays, but we went on a Wednesday. You can use the bathrooms in City Hall for free. We took a taxi back and asked them to match the Uber price....they were trying to charge quite a bit more.

Beautiful plaza with old Mexico charm, the whole area is fantastic and plenty to do! Friday night after 6 pm is the art festival and flea market selling all kinds of wears. The restaurants are plentiful and charming. The food is spectacular.

Local artists work amazing work.. live music. Street food. Definitely a highlight of San Jose del Cabo

Great place for boutique shopping and great dining with lots of choices. Thursday evening art walk in the plaza is a must do. Lots of great, original artwork from local vendors.

It's a gorgeous gallery. I wish I could submit photos, but I didn't want to be rude to the artist. He let me and my wife in a couple hours early and we were able to enjoy the gallery by ourselves. His paintings really made me think. Wow. I've never had art make me look at it the way these pieces did. If only I had the money, I would have bought some of his replicas in a heartbeat. 🙂

If you have the opportunity to go to Cabo, I highly recommend a visit to Frank Arnold Studio. It is absolutely beautiful and his art work is stunning.

I go to the artwalk at least once a year in san Jose del cabo.. Frank's gallery is the best on the tour...every time I go I bring some one new ..I dream of a studio like the one in his home .

I went to Frank Arnold's Gallery for the Thursday Night Art Galleries Tour but was thrilled to sit down and talk with Frank about his great painting The Wiz and his experience with the Cabo Flood of the San Jose Art District of 2014!

A fine dining restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. I came here for Christmas dinner, and it was very spacious, but also cozy with beautiful lighting and natural plants all over the restaurant. The food was good, and the service was good, though the service wasn't like "exceptional". All the decorative lights around the farm was pretty to walk around after the meal, and took a lot of photos for memories. I think it would be a whole another experience if I come during the day, so you can enjoy the farms & all the plants they grow. Strongly recommended for a small group & couples!

A fun and unique farmhouse environment, however on our visit there was also truly mediocre to below average dinner menu preparation. The Cornish hen and suckling pig were both under-seasoned, and significantly less enjoyable as compared even to similar dishes produced by the in-room dining kitchen at our local resort. On a not particularly busy night, service also took over an hour. At the end of the meal, staff also asked us to select a tip percentage from a pre-determined list prior to running our card, which felt awkward at best. Significantly less positive experience as compared to neighbors Acre and Flora Farms.

Beautiful farm-to-table restaurant/farm, with delicious food and service. I recommend you take the cooking classes but expect to be there about 4 hours. It was totally worth it and delicious. They also host events which would be lovely.

A must see! The place itself is so beautiful - you’re dining at a lovely place right inside/next to farm area, decoration and vibes are on point and the people are very nice. The food itself is super fresh (they incorporate a lot of the food right from their farm/garden). Would recommend the caprice salad (the freshest tomatoes! And basil pesto was amazing) and the pasta. The veggies in the pasta were so good and the shrimp version as well is perfectly seasoned and cooked. The fish tacos were solid but the pasta was definitely the highlight.

Absolutely beautiful estate! I went here for a cooking class with two of my very good friends. The location is a little bit difficult to find, and well worth it! The scenery is beautiful, the dining room is gorgeous, and the staff are wonderful. We had a blast at the cooking class. We made tamales with green pork mole, fresh tortillas, and sea bass ceviche. All delicious!

We had lunch at this beautiful place outside San Jose del Cabo. Very tasty meals and friendly service. W Most of all we enjoyed taking a walk in their garden, seeing all the vegetables and fruit they grow and use in the kitchen. The sunset from the rooftop was overwhelming.

We were really excited to visit this farm but we didn’t quite have the experience we were hoping for. We spent three weeks in Mexico and had a bunch of incredible meals and this meal at Tamarindo was by far our most expensive meal of the entire trip, and we didn’t feel that the food warranted the high prices. We had red wine and it was $20 USD per glass. There are no prices on the menu, so we didn’t know the high costs until the bill came. Our octopus appetizer was great and the caprese salad was very good, maybe a little heavy on the basil dressing/sauce. The fish we ordered, sea bass, was unfortunately over cooked ($29 USD). The pasta with veggies + shrimp was delicious ($31 USD). The staff was really friendly and gave us bug spray because we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes. They were also burning herbs nearby to help ward off the bugs. Overall we weren’t overwhelming impressed but we did enjoy some of the dishes and being there at sunset was beautiful! There are a few farm to table experiences in the area, also with more reasonable prices, so I would recommend trying more than just one!

This was a wonderful and fun experience. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Our drinks were made to our tastes and the dishes were thoughtfully created. We watched the sunset from the roof too, walked the garden, and just had a lovely last even in BCS at Tamarindos. Oh it’s a special occasion restaurant, not an everyday $$$$.

Amazing ambiance. Rooftop area you can see city light from. Excellent tamarindo salad which was fresh, flavorful mixed greens with a sweetish balsamic vinaigrette. Perfect. Only complaint was that the baked sea bass was served about 20 minutes after everything else.

Our family had an amazing experience taking a cooking class at Tamarindos. What a wonderful way to learn about local Mexican cuisine and culture - one of the highlights of our trip. And the food was of course outstanding! If you are visiting Cabo with your family I strongly recommend booking a class - you will not regret it!

From cocktails to dessert…… pure excellence. The food was well thought and delicious. The atmosphere was amazing and beautiful. Will be a definite stop on next visit to the area as the menu adapts to the season and it would be a guarantee of an absolutely lovely evening. The road to the destination crosses a normally dry river bed so your gps will not match the actual road as the flooding changes the route. I had the smallest of economical cars rentable, fwd, and it was fine…. Just keep it on the road😏

This is the most delicious, beautiful, special meal you will have in Cabo. The farm is magical with so many fresh vegetables and herbs, all of which are part of the delicious dishes. The food here was the best in Cabo, and one of the best meals we’ve had, in general. We had the grilled Caesar salad, catch of the day, and fettuccine. The flavors were the most unique and delicious. We can’t wait to come back and recommend this to every visitor!

Great place. It is true farm to table… at the farm. It’s the old farm version of acre and flora. Staff is excellent. We had excellent salads, pasta. It’s a great spot.

Excellent local restaurant. Been here multiple times on vacation from the US and the food and service is excellent. No issues. They use Fresh herbs from the gardens to make their signature dishes and cocktails. Did a private cooking lesson here with my husband for our honeymoon in 2022. Can’t say enough nice things about this spot. Only issue is the road to get to the restaurant is very rural and can get super bumpy. Other than that totally awesome.

Sunday Brunch was amazing! Food was delicious, service was too notch and the serving size was enough I was able to take home leftovers.

The Playa Hotelera is a very clean and wide beach with fine white sands, great place to walk and enjoy the views.

One of the best beaches in Los Cabos. A walk from end to end is perfect to get your exercise in while looking at the amazing views.

We love visiting this Saturday Market while in San Jose. Great food booths. Incredible beverage choices (juices, kambucha, sodas). Organic produce. Fantastic artisans. Spend the day because you can relax in the shade of a tent and listen to great music while you eat delicious food and sip tasty beverages!

Friendly atmosphere; nice space on the lawns of La Huerta Sports Club. Many handicrafts and delightful choices of foods with space to dine. Live audience music on a hippie type stage brings in many listeners…

I went in the morning before it got too busy, which was the perfect time for me. There was art on display, craft vendors, vegetable booths, prepared food, even a yoga class. My favorite part was that the Humane Society had a booth, and I was happy to make a donation towards their cause. I was told that in the afternoon it gets a lot busier, with entertainment. Well worth spending time there.

The market happens every Saturday from 9 AM in an open field about 1/2 km from the Catholic Church at the main plaza. People set up stalls to sell things they make or produces. You can find hand made jewelry, clothes, garden vegetables, art work and food. In the middle there was a childrens play area and the music tent Whole place was set up to spend time leisurely. Very enjoyable.

Having gone to the Saturday Market over the years, I think it keeps improving. I like the new location, and the vendors and entertainment are fantastic! It is fun to take time to speak with the artisans about their work. Come for a quick shopping trip or hang out and be with the community.

Definitely a "Pueblo Mágico" (Magic Town). If you like art, on Thursday nights they have an art gallery with many street vendors there in the main public square.

Was just strolling down a street in Los Cabos and saw a beautiful art piece, a mermaid. As I stopped to take a picture, I noticed other pieces, metal sculptures that were just breath taking lining the walk way of what looked like a higher end shopping district. Honestly, I was surprised that they were outside and kept looking for someone to direct me out of this exhibit. No one came, so I took pictures of everything. Colorful, artful, imaginative and beautiful. It was a very pleasant surprise to my day in Los Cabos.

Best non-ocean part of Los Cabos! Must-see, especially the Ivan Guaderrama Art Gallery. Great restaurants!

Nice gallery district with unique offerings. It’s mixed in with souvenir shops, some of which have good crafts pieces. Good resting here as well. Several galleries were closed during the day, but open in the evenings.not a huge scene like San Miguel, but interesting.

Nice place to walk around in San Jose Del Cabo. Don't forget to visit Van Sotomayer's Gallery. Also visit Jazmin's Restaurant for food.

Lots of shops & good places to grab a bite to eat.

San Jose Art District is phenomenal. The old streets were closed off to vehicle traffic. Lights, flags and streamers were strung across the streets. Live music around every corner. And the art was abundant. Small studios, stalls, and artists practicing their craft everywhere. I highly recommend going on a Thursday evening to experience the Art Walk.

We went shopping one day to the Marino Mercado flea market in Cabo San Lucas and another day here. I preferred shopping here. Lots of little stalls, people here were nice and not pushy. Cute souvenirs, including shirts, Mexican clothing, and trinkets. One stall had beautiful embroidered hats, we ended up purchasing two. We visited around 10am on a Friday, there were only a few other tourists here. Worth a visit for souvenirs.

Lots of shops with over priced trinkets. One shop charged my wife $20 for a blouse and another had the same one for $45. I was looking at some shirts. The salesman wanted $85 for it.

Julio and Mary’s shop is lovely. They have nice jewelry and Mary customizes straw bags that are adorable!!!

A lot of the shops here are the same but there's a very good ice cream and drinks shop here that's very cool in the hot summer days.

This was our favorite place in all of Cabo! Cheapest place to buy souvenirs, by far! In the very back, there's also a great place for healthy smoothies - the owner was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Also a great place to get a massage, with several places offering $40 for one hour (we did $25 for 30 minutes).

A relaxed area. Cool. #41 has unique, handmade gifts. And smoothies. Yummy!

We stopped by this specific shopping area as a result of arriving here with our small tour group. this area had quite a few of shops that were open and very few customers that were moving throughout the area. It felt like we were prime shoppers and had the whole mall of stores for shopping to ourselves as we moved through each doorway...systematically buying souvenir trinkets for our family members back home. The shop owners were very friendly and most of them were able to speak English since most in the group had limited Spanish capability. most of the shop owners on this date, didn't bother to jack up the prices they gave a very fair price upon entry into the store.

Lots of items, do not go in the afternoon many stores were closed. I did see someone who was doing the hand beading and was super impressed by the work. They say after 6 pm is the best time. Fyi

Nice outdoor Souvenirs shop. All the store almost sell the same thing. 1 owner looks like owns several stores. Its ok to Bargain, they will always say the highest price. Go 50% off that to start bargaining. Like $40, you say $20. They say 35 then you say 30 and start walking. Then they will either give it or you say 33. Bought table/blankets 37 when it started at 50.

The « My Pottery » shop sells beautifully detailed SERVIN pieces - much less than at Cobalto on the square. Be sure to negotiate to get a good price. The designs are darling and have many uses.
