It was beautiful to see all the gorgeous koalas. It was very sad though to see the stories of how they became to the hospital. There was a cheeky one or two also. The guides are very informative and the carers are very dedicated. A wonderful place for families. It also has a coffee caravan with delicious food and drinks and gorgeous seating areas.

A wonderful little place doing a fantastic job. It's definitely worth chatting with the staff and volunteers as they are very knowledgeable and passionate. We were there for over an hour because we loved chatting with the staff, otherwise it would have maybe been 20mins. I was very impressed with the gift shop, great selection and at decent prices.

Interesting Hospital for Koalas. Several were seen in the trees rehabilitating. In there own enclosure each one has information on the wire fence regarding injuries. Names for injured Koals are named with the finders first name and area. A new hospital will be built in the near future. Free entry makes this a great place to visit.

We really enjoyed spending an hour here this morning learning about the amazing work the Koala Hospital do and quietly observing the resident koalas. We got a wonderfully warm welcome from the staff who were happy to answer any questions (though the information displayed was so clear and comprehensive that we didn’t have any!). We were amazed that the hospital is free to visit, so we gladly showed our support by buying several items from the well-stocked gift shop.

Worth a visit if in the city! Free access Plenty of Koalas - you get to read their stories. And see their cuteness. Staff/volunteers were extremely friendly, walking around and sharing fun facts, and more to each koalas story. There is a cafe and a gift shop on site. You can also donate.

This place was awesome, very educational and knowledgeable. I had a amazing time being that close to a wild rescued koala. And seeing them in there natural state. These guys do a fantastic job looking after the koalas and trying to rehabilitate and educate us all on how we can help this precious endangered species. I would highly recommend going to this attraction. Entry is free but you can donate while you are there which is a beautiful feeling.

Could I give it 6 stars ? Only because it is such a wonderful place to go. Not full of gimmicks or animals doing tricks. Just full of lovely, safe happy Koalas. And full of lovely, friendly and dedicated staff. Mostly volunteers I believe. The stories are heartbreaking but the results heart warming. The staff are so friendly and clearly they love the bears so much. Thank you for your care and loving attention. We loved our visit. Such good work being done for those dear animals.

Great place to visit. Dedicated staff do amazing work. Not government funded, so every donation welcomed. Next door to a heritage old homestead where you can browse through and sit down at the onsite cafe for a scone and a cuppa.

A wonderful spot that is free to enter and where any donations you do give go towards saving more koalas. Staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful, and loved to be asked questions (and answer them in detail). There were various koalas, including many in the trees above, but all in all I wouldn't say you'd spend more than 45 minutes here, 1 hour at a push.

Lovely visit We enjoyed our visit to the furry patients at Port Macquarie's Koala hospital. We spent about half an hour browsing through the displays and watching the koalas in the rehabilitation yards. Entry is free - but donations are gratefully accepted. This would be a great spot to bring the family!!

What a little gem of a place - well worth supporting! (Gets no government funding and relies on donations to survive). There are so many koalas recovering here, each with their own story. Museum is interesting and the volunteers are so welcoming. Yours run throughout the day. Next door Roto House offers nice walk around and gardens for a picnic.

Definitely worth visiting the koala hospital. What an amazing job all these volunteers are doing helping these precious animals. You guys are amazing!! One of the volunteers gave us a very informative tour around the hospital. It’s wonderful to see that these koalas are being well looked after.

Visitors to Port Macquarie must stop in at the unique attraction that is the Koala hospital. Take in the long term Koala residents and read their heartbreaking stories as to why they live there. Hear more about Koalas that are being rehabilitated back into the wild. Sweet little museum offers entertaining ways to learn about this native animal. Free entry so make a donation or purchase something at gift shop to show your appreciation.

Whenever you visit Port Macquarie you must visit the Koala Hospital, make a small donation and appreciate what the volunteer workers go through in protecting some of our endangered species. Well done to everyone involved in ensuring the koalas are well looked after. You all do a great service.

A great place with a very good initiative. Our little one enjoyed her time watching Koalas and we had a nice information session about Koala welfare. It was worth spending in the shop and donating for the cause. Definitely recommend a visit to this place.

Loved coming here to see the Koalas. We came and stayed in the area to look for koalas but never saw any in the wild this stay. Some gorgeous koalas. Some super sad how they got there, like Ella. The small orphaned baby joey koala was super cute too. I would come here again and visit Jade and Ella. Nice little interact stups with koala facts and mini Museum with taxidermy.

It was such a great experience to learn more about koalas, their habits, how to protect & respect them but also meet the ones injured and cared at the hospital by amazing and loving people. The entrance is free so I was really happy to buy some gifts at the shop and contribute to help them in their mission.

It's a very important place to conserve the koala population. The volunteers are doing a great job. The new "koalaseum" next to the hospital is very informative and interesting. This was my 4th visit there. It's a shame that the institution is still running only on donations. The Australian government DOES NOT support the koala hospital. Although that animal is an Aussie icon as well and must be protected like other.

Amazing experience visiting the resident koalas and learning all the facts about koalas in general. We visited first thing in the morning when the koalas are most active. We also had breakfast at the cafe on site which was lovely. Highly recommend this visit

Fantastic place!! So good to see the Kaolas who are wounded, recovering or for the lifetime being in care. It's definitely important to know that these amazing animals are being cared for. It's definitely worth a visit. Would love to have lent a hand to help, if its possible would love to know.

We love the Koalas, and this little hospital for them at Port Macquarie didn’t disappoint. Many of the Koalas are being helped to get well enough so as they can be released back into the wild, however, some have been hurt so badly by cars and other injuries that they will Remain here forever. But all in all, if you love these cute little furry creatures you’ll love it. There’s a Cafe and a shop to buy some cute little gifts to help them out along with the donation box.

Lots of koalas visible in the trees and one even pacing up and down eight in front of us. A well run facility with helpful staff willing to tell us the background behind each inhabitant. Fortunately they don't show any badly injured koalas, so it was a positive, uplifting experience. And it's free!!

Great place! They take care of multiple koalas here. You can see the koalas up close. There is a nice informative part at the beginning with some funny "did you know" facts about koalas and other animals. During our visit they were feeding a koala.

Well worth a visit. Set in beautiful grounds, these amazing creatures are nursed and nurtured back into their native environment where possible. Loved my visit here, and was more than happy to buy a few gifts in the shop at the end. The volunteers are more than happy to engage and are very informative. If you're nearby, please do go!

I love Australian Volunteers culture, the Koala 🐨🐨🐨 Hospital only got 4 paid full time then like 180 volunteers to run the Koala Hospital! We bought few souvenirs and a small donation to support this lovely Koala Hospital. Every day the volunteers will do room service for the Koala and the Koala will be trained and test to ensure they fit for the Wild environment again! For the one injured, then they will be permenate residents at the Koala hospital and enjoy 5 stars service. The Koalas there looks happy to me so I give it a 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice place to walk and relax among the trees, it’s okay to do even on a hot day as you are quite protected from the trees making it pleasant to dwell and take in the scenery along the walk which takes around 30-40 minutes return depending on your walking pace. Easy walk though.

Saw a powerful owl! Interesting Guides along the walk who were happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Gift shop has a lovely selection of various priced gifts (for others or self!). Cafe was nice, lovely way to spend a morning.

Really loved this place, would take a good 2 hours to go round the Sea acres rainforest, the fact that you would get to see some very unique trees, and very old one at that is quite stunning. The board walk is circular and you would live close to pure nature and breath absolutely unspoiled air while being inside. The most interesting aspect is that you get to see how the Fig trees grow and some are marvelous and can impart so much education. A fantastic place and a very refreshing feeling..

The Land Of The Giants. Everything is reaching for the sky. So beautiful. Beautifully maintained, lovely staff. Cafè fabulous.

Easy walk and refreshing air with a few wild animals to spot, nice but average view of rainforest. Very short route which is a bit overpriced, they even charge $1 for one paper map after paying for tickets already. Still recommend to have a walk here, but the pricing can be fixed better.

A lovely short walk on high boardwalks. Well constructed. Gives a fantastic view of rainforest. We didn't see many animals but loved just being in nature and seeing the different trees.

We loved it, enjoyed our time by walking around, captured a blue tongue lizard, a turkey and a goanna. BUT be aware that they charge $1 for one piece of paper map/ a short introduction of animals, or at least inform customers that it cost $1 before we pay as it’s usually included in the ticket price. To be honest, this $1 paper map selling strategy sucks as people usually don’t mind to pay that $1 if it’s included in the ticket not after paid for the ticket and get charged another $1 for the paper map. Receptionist don’t inform customer either, this is quite rude.

During our visit to Port Macquarie we visited this place. Such a peaceful place. I would love to go back again. During our walk we got to meet Beautiful volunteer Mary Curtis who is an expertise about rainforest. We are soo glad we got to meet her and chat about the rainforest. Such a beautiful walk inside the rainforest. So much to learn and see about different flora and fauna. Takes 30-40mins Max to finish. Free entry and plenty of free parking outside the centre. Wish to come back soon 💜

Lovely place, we didn't see any animals however we were lucky enough to see a powerful owl which was amazing 😊

It was really busy but the staff were lovely and we enjoyed the nice gift shop. The walk itself is only 1.3kms but we really took our time so stayed out an hour, I am sure others can do it in half that. Everything looked a little dry in the forest but lots of places are suffering the same fate. Would recommend if you like nature, but its not a zoo so wildlife is hit and miss

This is presented as a 3 star experience. Great; include this in your visit. Easy accessibility, including wheelchairs and prams. Reasonable price. Neat store and cafe. Easy grades on the boardwalk. Good interpretation. 1.4 km. Guided tours available; extended walks along the coast too. Clean toilets. This is a national park, no dogs.

Always a lovely experience here. The boardwalk is great- something new to see each time you visit. On this visit, desk staff pointed out two roosting powerful owls at walk marker 78-79. Our first time seeing them! The cafe and gift shop are also great! I purchased some stuffed animals for my grandchildren and we had some takeaway treats from the cafe: apple pie, strawberry tart, and GF rhubarb muffin(favorite).

Cute walk in the rainforest 🍃The place is modern and well maintained. The walk is super easy and very interesting to see all the different trees etc.

Stunning views at the Lighthouse and the nearby viewpoints. The Pacific ocean looks so beautiful and the sound of the waves coupled with nice breeze makes the moments so memorable. The location is not very crowded. This is one of the must visit locations for the visitors at Port Macquarie. Good parking area available nearby, however, one may not get the slots easily.

The lighthouse is beautifully kept, startling white and on a magnificent sight with views for miles. It was well worth the walk up there and they now have seats and a great lookout platform hanging over the cliff (I wasn't crazy enough to lean over but my friends did.)

Absolutely amazing place. I love the 360 degree view of beach and the ocean. The gradiant of blue colour of sky and water looks beautiful. It was humid hot day but the wind makes me so fresh. The nearby beach are great for swimming. Limited car parks.. better find nearby off road parking.

Another perfect spot for both sunrises and sunsets. It does get a little crowded, though there is always space to set up a picnic. Very limited parking, so make sure you beat the crowds if you're interested in getting there for the sunset

This is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. There is a high mound located next to the lighthouse, which makes it great for taking group photos. If you choose a good angle, you can even capture the entire moon or sun in your picture.

Amazing views great for a simple drive round or you can hop out and wonder around, their is even a walk down to lighthouse beach (steep with stairs). Just be aware it can get busy with cars and parking can be tricky if lots of people are there.

We went here to see Whales🐋 and we were not disappointed. I have never seen some many Whales breaching and blowing. Great bench seats available to just sit and watch the view we sat there for a couple of hours just enjoying the Whales. I just wish I could click my camera fast enough to catch the Whales breaching.

A good spot to visit in Port Macquarie. Good views on both sides. You may see whales during migration season. Parking is limited. I went during a winter Sunday morning and parking was already full.

Beautiful location for sunrise - sunset, free parking, awesome ocean view, more than 100 years old lighthouse. Sitting area for picnic & food. Drinks allowed here too. Nice walk around beach.

A beautiful spot with a magnificent view of two beaches on your left and right. If you come during whale migration season you will definitely see whales. I went with my wife mid June and we saw quite a few, don't forget to bring your binoculars!

Historic lighthouse with amazing views. South you can see all the way to Dunbogan including the large mountain called North Brother. There is a photograph with names of all points of interest on the horizon, however it is badly faded and only the names are easily read. It is a nature's wonderland of coastal walks and tropical vibes.

The Tacking Point Lighthouse is an amazing lookout point, with breathtaking views. Constructed in 1879 and is one of the oldest lighthouses in New South Wales. Beautiful views of the Lighthouse Beach and the Pacific Ocean. Parking is free with limited spots, but usually, it's not crowded. Recommended.

Lovely spot on what feels like being on top of the world. Lucky enough to see a sea turtle out in the waves and a beautiful view down the beach with access via stairs as well. Decent amount of parking too

Great views over the ocean and nearby beaches, including Lighthouse Beach. Unfortunately the lighthouse itself cannot be visited but the views are spectacular from the grounds of the lighthouse.

A very cute lighthouse. I walked, but it is easily accessible by car/bike. A couple of nice beaches nearby if you fancy a dip.

Definitely worth a visit to pick cherries, tomatoes and have an amazing breakfast in their cafe. They serve lovely scones with a variety . Our little one had a great experience collecting the strawberries. It is safe and very accessible place. We even loved their jams. Definitely worth a visit.

Had great fun picking strawberries, strawberries were absolutely delicious. Shelf Life is very less (maybe a day or two), so if you pick a lot of strawberries like me make sure you finish everything.

We were very lucky to have found this little gem during our visit to Port Macquarie. It was such a fun activity for the whole family. Service is friendly and there’s lots of strawberries to pick your own from. A few things to note if you go here, take a container to transport your strawberries. You can buy a box for a $1 but if I had the opportunity I’d have packed mine in a large plastic container. They sell chocolate sauce near the counter for the strawberries. Note that this one has a hint of Orange oil so if you’re not fan it might not be a great purchase. Not sure if we just grabbed the orange flavour one and if they also offer a clean one. Lots of jams and chutney to choose from. We will visit again if we come to Port Macquarie.

We had a blast at Ricardoes Tomatoes! After a delicious breakfast of scones and banana bread we collected our buckets and headed out to pick strawberries. The kids were so pleased with themselves when they spied the perfect berry to pick! The range of sweet and savoury treats was wonderful, we took home an armful of delicious things to try! The staff were so welcoming and cheerful, so glad we stopped in here after seeing the sign on the highway the day before.

We had loads of fun here and picked some delicious strawberries! It's much more expensive than the supermarket, but it's fresher, it supports a local business, and it's a fun activity to do (especially with little ones)!

Family had a fabulous time at Ricardo’s picking strawberries! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like it’s cheaper than Woolworths, but it is a bit of fun to walk around a pick strawberries straight from the plants. Think the normal price is $20 kilo. There is also a shop at Ricardoes where you can pickup all kinds of produce. We grabbed cherry tomatoes. That said, would happily pop back again. The strawberries were delicious!!!

Great Strawberries picking time! Best parts: place is undercover, dry (no dirty shoes) and entry is FREE! We picked approx 2 kgs of strawberries (1 small bucket) and bought many strawberry jams to give away (each is $8). There are 4 large sheds to pick up strawberries. There is a shop and restaurant selling various products. Restaurant was too busy so we did not end up eating there (due to covid we are avoiding crowded indoor place). Strawberries were not large (not as large as when you bought at supermarket), but surprisingly very sweet. Very happy with them, fresh and sweet! We are hoping the place would provide more outdoor seating in the future. Overall we had great fun and we will definitely come back again!

Super cute little tomato & strawberry farm. Loved picking our own strawberries and learning how they grow hydroponically. Lots of delicious jams, relishes, sauces and more available in the little store. Our small bowl of strawberries cost quadruple what we pay at home in QLD but that’s the cost of being a tourist. Still worth the visit whilst on holidays.

What a fantastic experience picking our own strawberries. They were without a doubt the beat strawberries Ive ever had. Hubby had a latte and I had a chai latte and they were really nice great coffee and the scones were fabulous. We had date and pumpkin ones. Highly recommend anyone passing through to stop in. We have decided that it will be our go to place whenever we are travelling to and from Sydney now for fresh strawberries as car snacks, and brunch!

Amazing experience here picking our own fresh strawberries. Delicious and tasty produce! We loved the cafe too, great coffee and the yummiest strawberry jam and cream scones. Tomato bruschetta was so good too! We took home Ricardo’s tomato basil chilli jam and soup - incredible!!

Amazing! Even though we visited at the end of the holidays and the strawberries were scarce we still filled our buckets and had a great time. I bought the small tomato’s and relish and jam also. So many delicious goodies !

Terrific cafe with a great selection. Also, some tomato-based menu items - they looked very good. I didn't enjoy the Greek salad that was served with the calamari. It was mostly lettuce, and proper Greek salads don't have any lettuce. The mushrooms and tomatoes with Turkish bread were fabulous. They also sell a wide selection of jams, sauces, chutneys as well as tomatoes and strawberries.

Great fun picking strawberries, a big variety of goods excellent coffee and the strawberries are delicious. Bern here twice now and never disappointed

Ricardoes strawberry picking experience was fun. We roughly spent about an hour there. It's just under a 20-minute drive from Port Macquarie. The scones with jam and cream were very tasty. There are 4 different flavours of scones. Dogs are allowed on the property but not inside the cafe/store/strawberry picking area.

Very good experience on hydroponics strawberry picking. Also the lettuce is very sweet and good. Strawberry is a little bit pricey per kg in the 1st feeling but they don't charge entry fee. It is pretty fair price. Remember don't pick and try on the spot to support the local business.

The family enjoyed our trip to Ricardo's tomatos to pick our own strawberry's. Afterwards we selected some local produce and had morning tea. Cost for morning tea was $38 for 3 people.

Billabong Zoo was a pleasant visit. The Zoo is obviously well cared for and despite being on the small side obviously is well loved. The Gardens are beautiful and must take a lot of work to be cared for. Obviously all private zoos struggle for money and this is evident at Billabong Zoo as some of the Aviary’s are quite outdated and the encounters basic, would love to see more of a focus on providing unique encounters and more in-depth talks from the Keepers. Government grant for this Zoo would go a long way I’m sure! Will be very keen to revisit when the night zoo becomes available if well executed.

Visited the zoo last Saturday - highly recommend as an outing for adults as well as children - lots to see in an easy walk around the many enclosures. Friendly knowledgeable staff willing to answer any questions about the various exhibits. Great day out.

Absolutely loved the zoo. The wombat enclosure rocks as you can see them in their natural habitat. Shame that the big cats were out of sight but that happens. The raptors were awesome, one of my favourites and of course the little penguins put on a show for us thanks you're amazing

The zoo is a great cost effective day out for the family. The kids park is great as you can burn the little one’s energy off. Just a few things to note, we noticed that the front reception man was lovely to deal with, however it’s evident that he isn’t big on kids as they touch all the toys for sale. His way of expressing to them not to touch should be assessed. Maybe going over and engaging with them he would get a better outcome from them. The front entrance has an entry and an exit only sign but people just head to the exit to enter and it was causing unnecessary communication from the staff to the customer. We think a small gate at the exit that only opens one way would fix that issue for them. The food was great at the cafe. There seems to be a bit of chef verses front of house attitude, the chef seemed to use her position over the juniors. We requested some tartare sauce, we were told $2.50. Now we don’t mind paying for anything but given all we needed was a little bit it was a bit hefty since we just paid $180 in food and drinks. We didn’t even use enough to make it lower than the rim of the ramekin we were supplied. May we suggest that you offer a small portion of sauce or if people would like to pay for a large portion for $2.50. Or ask the customer at the counter if they would like any sauces with the salt and pepper squid? We had the beef brisket burger it was delicious. The onion rings were yummy also. We will be back.

This is a small little zoo in port macquarie, nsw. The zoo is not very big, and it doesn't have alot of animals attraction like other big zoo. But its not too bad, and they do have alot of koalas and kangaroos. I think, I'm sure the kids would love it. But If you happen to be there with your kids and family, be sure to check out the zoo. 😊 animals

Great place to take your time and wander around freely. Had some good fun with some of the bird enclosures that talk back to you! Didn't get to see the crocodile or the Lion, and most of the kangaroos were already well fed by the afternoon. Recommend attending earlier than mid afternoon as the sun was behind most of the animals and made it difficult to see some of them through the glass.

Billabong Zoo Mothers Day Meerkat experience. My girls bought me a Meerkat encounter for Mothers Day. Wow..... they are so cute and adorable. Great experience, just not long enough. Billabong Zoo itself was great. Staff are friendly and helpful. The oldest daughter paid $10 to hold one of the snakes and take pictures of while on her. While waiting for my Meerkat encounter, we sat at the cafe and ordered a little to eat and drink. All in all, it was a nice family day out.

Good Experience of Kangaroo. Billabong Zoo is a popular wildlife park located in Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. It's known for its diverse range of animals and offers various interactive experiences, including feeding sessions, animal encounters, and educational programs. The zoo focuses on conservation and provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about and engage with various species, including koalas, kangaroos, reptiles, and more.

Great zoo. Medium-sized but has a wide variety of animals, including non-indigenous ones. Staff give regular talks on certain animals - these are very interesting and educational. The animals are clearly well treated and the staff are very knowledgeable and caring about them. Highlight: personally feeding the kangaroos and wallabies.

Really enjoyed our time here! All up spent roughly 6 hours even though it’s not necessarily a huge zoo. I was lucky enough to do 4 of the animal encounters and they were brilliant. The crowd wasn’t too busy which was perfect (I can’t imagine peak holiday times would be too enjoyable). The vibe from the staff was pretty happy, chill and friendly - I really liked it. There were a few news areas being built and some things not running which makes sense given Covid but still an awesome time.

Very good zoo, staff takes good care of the animals and has a lot of patience doing their duties. The zoo is clean. (It was hard finding hand sanitisers around the kangaroo's feeding area, but it was pretty hectic on that day) Zoo is kids friendly and family friendly. Overall, we had fun there

Lovely little zoo! Lots to see and do. They always have a nice schedule of events/ nature talks, many of which allow you to interact with the animals. Love that they take in injured wildlife.

I loved the zoo it is really good place to visit on the weekend, it takes 2-3 hours in total to discover and see all the animals, I really liked Shrek, you have to see him. And make sure to hand feed the wallabies, they are adorable. There are toilets, cafe and icecream place

Great experience for the children. Lots to see and do including feeding the wallabies and wallaroos. Staff do presentations on the different animals at timely intervals, so great learning experience.

What a great place - absolutely recommend visiting. Very warm welcome and immensely enjoyable seeing a wide range of animals without having to walk for miles and miles. The koala bears are very cute and the crocodile was fascinating. Make sure you check the board for activities like feeding times etc. There is a lot of verity so plenty to see including big cats.

This has been our favourite zoo experience in Australia so far! On our first visit, we paid for the red panda experience and definitely do not regret it, the red pandas were so gentle and you can tell they were greatly looked after. On our second visit, we took part in the marmoset experience and it absolutely made our holiday! You can tell the staff are very dedicated to the animals welfare, and that their hard work goes towards a great cause. We highly recommend you stop by when you go to Port Macquarie!

It is an absolute MUST to stop here for a good half a day at a minimum! The talks are fantastic and the range of wildlife there is frankly amazing. If you're in the Port Macquarie area do yourself a favour and visit here!!

We've been to plenty of wildlife parks in Australia. We liked this one. A good size for a couple of hours/half a day. The underground wombat viewing room was a highlight, as was the lions. The grounds were well maintained and in good condition. Was not too busy on New Years Day.

Great afternoon out for relaxing and unwinding. Loved the smoked salmon bagel for lunch. Snow leopard talk a real treat. Wasn't too crowded and good to see the quality of the terrain and exhibits.

Amazing and most hospitable employees. Shout out to Lionel from reception, Brooke and Mark from Snow Leopard enclosure. Kangaroo feed can be purchased at three packs for $5. Kangaroos will actively hop to you for the snack! Animals look healthy, happy and lively - a rare sight in many zoos where animals are usually asleep/looked bored/looked sad. There are multiple animal talks from morning till about 230pm. Be sure to be there early. Keepers are extremely knowledgeable and are more than happy to answer your questions. 10/10 recommend. No regrets visiting. Went on a weekday with absolutely no crowd, such an enjoyable and peaceful visit. You can purchase tickets in advance or do walk ins.

Nice place to walk and relax among the trees, it’s okay to do even on a hot day as you are quite protected from the trees making it pleasant to dwell and take in the scenery along the walk which takes around 30-40 minutes return depending on your walking pace. Easy walk though.

Saw a powerful owl! Interesting Guides along the walk who were happy to share their wealth of knowledge. Gift shop has a lovely selection of various priced gifts (for others or self!). Cafe was nice, lovely way to spend a morning.

Really loved this place, would take a good 2 hours to go round the Sea acres rainforest, the fact that you would get to see some very unique trees, and very old one at that is quite stunning. The board walk is circular and you would live close to pure nature and breath absolutely unspoiled air while being inside. The most interesting aspect is that you get to see how the Fig trees grow and some are marvelous and can impart so much education. A fantastic place and a very refreshing feeling..

Easy walk and refreshing air with a few wild animals to spot, nice but average view of rainforest. Very short route which is a bit overpriced, they even charge $1 for one paper map after paying for tickets already. Still recommend to have a walk here, but the pricing can be fixed better.

A lovely short walk on high boardwalks. Well constructed. Gives a fantastic view of rainforest. We didn't see many animals but loved just being in nature and seeing the different trees.

We loved it, enjoyed our time by walking around, captured a blue tongue lizard, a turkey and a goanna. BUT be aware that they charge $1 for one piece of paper map/ a short introduction of animals, or at least inform customers that it cost $1 before we pay as it’s usually included in the ticket price. To be honest, this $1 paper map selling strategy sucks as people usually don’t mind to pay that $1 if it’s included in the ticket not after paid for the ticket and get charged another $1 for the paper map. Receptionist don’t inform customer either, this is quite rude.

During our visit to Port Macquarie we visited this place. Such a peaceful place. I would love to go back again. During our walk we got to meet Beautiful volunteer Mary Curtis who is an expertise about rainforest. We are soo glad we got to meet her and chat about the rainforest. Such a beautiful walk inside the rainforest. So much to learn and see about different flora and fauna. Takes 30-40mins Max to finish. Free entry and plenty of free parking outside the centre. Wish to come back soon 💜

Lovely place, we didn't see any animals however we were lucky enough to see a powerful owl which was amazing 😊

It was really busy but the staff were lovely and we enjoyed the nice gift shop. The walk itself is only 1.3kms but we really took our time so stayed out an hour, I am sure others can do it in half that. Everything looked a little dry in the forest but lots of places are suffering the same fate. Would recommend if you like nature, but its not a zoo so wildlife is hit and miss

This is presented as a 3 star experience. Great; include this in your visit. Easy accessibility, including wheelchairs and prams. Reasonable price. Neat store and cafe. Easy grades on the boardwalk. Good interpretation. 1.4 km. Guided tours available; extended walks along the coast too. Clean toilets. This is a national park, no dogs.

Always a lovely experience here. The boardwalk is great- something new to see each time you visit. On this visit, desk staff pointed out two roosting powerful owls at walk marker 78-79. Our first time seeing them! The cafe and gift shop are also great! I purchased some stuffed animals for my grandchildren and we had some takeaway treats from the cafe: apple pie, strawberry tart, and GF rhubarb muffin(favorite).

Cute walk in the rainforest 🍃The place is modern and well maintained. The walk is super easy and very interesting to see all the different trees etc.

I went here to see the painted koalas, which were situated in and outside of the shop, which is part of the Hello Koalas sculpture tour. The sculpture tour takes you all around Port Macquarie. The gift shop was filled with lots of koala merchandise.

We went to Port Macquarie and have done the Hello Koalas Trail a few times - its super fun, shows some creative art & good for all ages (we are in our late 20s). We also did the trail when it was in Canberra. I don’t think Port Macquarie would be the same without it!

A must visit for all locals, the source of all our Koala statues. Recommended as a first stop for all tourists especially if you have kids.

Edit: The owners have been in contact and are aware of these issues, at least they are making the effort to fix things up. Changed from a 1 star to 4 star. I didn't even see a shop at this address I just saw homes. Port Macquarie council should be ashamed of themselves over their marketing. This was the thing my partner was most wanting to do at Port Macquarie and we could find no information, all the addresses we found on the internet were useless and we couldn't find a tourism info section anywhere.

Great place to visit while in Port Macquarie they have a variety of souvenirs & gifts also have 🐨 koalas sculptures displayed across Port Macquarie also can pick up a free map/guide, the staff are friendly & happy to answer any questions ...

Our kids love to track down their favourite koala sculpture design and it’s amazing to see where the trail leads us - it's a really great way to see the region. The gift shop is packed with really unique souvenirs and gift ideas. We picked up a Port Macquarie Monopoly game and sent it back to family in Canada as they’re huge Monopoly fans. Now they can think of Port Macquarie every time they play.

Perfect not only for kids, but for any art lovers. The details and thoughts that have gone into each one of these Koalas are incredible. You'll bound to fall in love with one (or more) of these Hello Koalas Sculptures. Must see. They are around everywhere. Grab a map for the correct locations :)

It was fantastic fun to search the local area for a photo with each of the koalas, hand painted by local artists . We stopped at the store for some gifts, a map and some photos to start us and away we went for a day of treasure hunting . We were even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a real koala. Port Macquarie is a beautiful holiday destination and the Koala trail is a fantastic initiative and fun for kids and adults . Highly recommend a look at the high quality gift shop .

Such a special aspect that Port has to offer. We are locals here and seeing the koalas around every corner never disappoints our kids. The more colourful they are the more hugs they get from the kids! They love the one in the glasshouse. I never new there was a shop dedicated to the koalas and it was a pleasant surprise when I stumbled upon it. The lady working in the shop was lovely and it was nice to put a face to the person behind this marvellous idea. A few treasures to be found in the shop but the best thing was seeing the newest of the koala before they go out into the public. Thanks for creating such an artistic, funfilled idea!

The Hello Koala Sculpture Trail touches the Port Macquarie region beautifully. My children and I still find ourselves exploring a new activity or restaurant based on the trail guide so we can visit another koala statue and cross it off our list. My children absolutely love finding koalas that share their names and marvelling at their artistic beauty. They also adore stopping by the koala gift shop for a chat with Margaret and to purchase one of the many games or gifts found in store. It’s a must see for any visitors and locals who wish to venture out from the standard activities. The koala trail program has become an iconic feature of our area, it helps to create tourism, bring our community together and puts the surrounds of Port Macquarie on the map! Well done to Margaret and her team for setting up such a wonderful project.

Disappointedly the Roto House was still closed .. nevertheless , the Koala Hospital & the park area are open There's also a small cafe caravan open

Visited this place right after the koala hospital and was amazed. The volunteer was very enthusiastic. The house is beautiful and with so much history. The rooms are still completely furnished. Free entrance

If you're looking for an oasis in Port to relax, yet still have options, Roto is located near the Koala Hospital, a small coffee kiosk and set in a quiet lightly forested park.

Very good park and pretty well maintained. Some of the roads need resurfacing. Great location. Pool gets a lot of use, and my daughter loved it. However, it needs some shading as you get burnt to a cinder if in there for too long. Spend some money, people. We'll be back for sure. 👍

Quite a large caravan situated by the breakwater. The camping area was not that busy, so it was quiet. Although the Breakwater was quite busy during the weekend. The amenities were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. With food, drink, shopping, entertainment, the river and beach all in walking distance. My only negative was the distance to the camp kitchen from the camping area. The camp kitchen was clean and well equipped. Great spot to get up early and watch the dolphins.

Stayed here several time for in excessive 2 weeks. Just love the park and the position. Allan ensures that the toilets showers and basins are spotless. Thanks Alan for keeping the place SO clean

Great park, clean and tidy and our cabin very close to town central. But, car and boat now hemmed in driveway beside our cabin after recent arrivals and despite many possible options nearby for parking, staff would not allow second vehicle in, so my wife after a hip operation had to walk from front of the park to our cabin and I had to do multiple trips carting luggage and bags. Becoming a bit of a downer of a stay. Hopefully things can only improve for our next 8 nights. NOT posted by Marty but by other couple in cabin, and with assistance from other park members managed to get boat out (has too much expensive gear on board to leave outside boom gates). But such is life. Merry Xmas to all and a safe new year. Macca

Just home from a great week in this park, 5 nights camping and last night in a fabulous cabin. The faculties are excellent, modern & clean toilets and a lovely, safe & friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for families.

Just came back from staying up there for 4 nights. Pricing was reasonable as the ammenities were very clean. Lots to do in the area! Will be back for sure. Sites were well maintained. We stayed on the east side on a powered grass site. The park also has a food truck which was handy for a bite to eat.

EXCELLENT 10/10. This is a very well organised park and obviously loved. It is well set out, amenities clean, neat and tidy. Sites are of an excellent size and fitted our 15m rig easily. Staff at reception are very helpful. We felt safe and slept well. Great walking area along foreshore and close to the shopping area.

Good location near ocean and town centre. Nice cabin with all amenities. Popular spot but quiet. Good parking. Secure access. Would stay there again.

Concerned for families tonight with young ones if no warning to guests re fireworks sounded like gunshots at 9pm or just after. Would have been loud for tents and caravans too. Dump as...at least office staff and after hours staff should warm families but thought fireworks are illegal. Then loud door banging heard throughout park. Meant to be safe friendly enviorment. Really sounded like gunshots. Then adults behind studios laughing thinking it was funny. Not so for little kids

Absolutely beautiful place to stay and central to everything you could want. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. Highly recommend staying here weather it’s the cabins caravan or camping, with very reasonable rates.

Very nice park. Very busy when we were there, but everyone was very respectful and pleasant. The auto checkin was the best, code's worked fine on the bathroom and everything just worked and made sense. Very well run & maintained park for sure. I was very impressed.

I would not return to this caravan park unless NRMA make major changes and the staff take their jobs seriously. After making a booking months in advance and arranging for a second vehicle to be parked on our allocated caravan lot at night only for security we were told this wasn't allowed as it was against park rules even though it had been previously arranged. The staff person I spoke to said that they would make a note on my booking but no one seemed to be able to find it. The streets are so narrow it takes a lot of attempts to park a large van on the small lot without hitting other cars that are parked partly on the road it isn't allowed to park on the road but staff don't bother to enforce this rule. While driving around I would advise not going above 5km as the kids are not supervised by adults and children as young as 3 or 4 are walking or riding bikes and scooters across the road at all hours day and night I get that people are there to relax but when you start drinking when the sun comes up and don't stop till it’s time to sleep and you don't look after your kids things start to become a problem, this is another rule that the staff are fine ignoring about supervision. As to the showers and toilets there are so many people using them that there is always water everywhere and if you want a shower you need to go extremely late at night or early in the morning as there is no water pressure. There is plenty of hot water it just doesn't come out. I also had to fight to get into the amenities most nights as there were always a pack of kids just hanging out the front that I still do not know why. Then why I got inside the kids where siding under the shower walls from one end to another to see who could get the furthers and another bunch where on their phones while on the toilet describing to each other what they were doing. All in all this is not the park for you if you want to relax and enjoy the day go by.

Great place to unwind. Staff very friendly. Free sausage sizzle once a week. Local fisherman drives in on Thursday and has fresh fish and prawns. Only prob is dogs are not allowed in cabins. Maybe later??

I found this beautiful resort and it perfect location just by luck. I was just driving around looking at possible accommodation and there it was NRMA Holiday Park. I walked into the Reception and was greeted b their friendly staff who assisted me with check-in and I found a really nice studio apartment. No fuss and no bother easy as. The assistant had suggestions of what to do and where to eat and drink, which made it an easy visit. The suggestions were spot on! The accommodation was easy to find in the resort and I parked straight out front of my studio. The apartment was clean and had all the items I needed for my stay. I enjoyed the resort amenities and the location was perfect. Well done to all the staff for an incredible nice stay.

First time I have stayed here because a few years back it was not inviting at all. It has improved big time. It’s a very big park with lots of sites for caravans and motor homes. Amenities are modern and very clean. Girls on the office at check in were great. Very helpful. Easy walk to break wall and to the beaches. The gutters are a bit deadly though! And the speed humps. Park gets very busy are holiday times. There is a skate park outside the park at one end I would have preferred not to be that close only because of the continual sound from the park but wasn’t enough to ruin my stay. I could still hear the waves. Park is popular with family’s and kids. There is a lovely swimming pool as well. Dogs welcome out of holiday times.

Big park on the river which is dog friendly. Amenities are clean with good showers. Only negative is the amount of people walking through your site. There are no designated walkways in the middle of the rows between streets so it becomes a bit of a free for all getting to the amenities

Can't fault this place, location is great, common sighting of dolphins in the inlet, great for fishing too, the kids caught some nice Bream and I caught a Port Jackson shark, great amenities blocks. 2 RV dump points. This is now our go to park for the region.

The best place we have stayed on our 6 week trip. Location stunning. Amenities the cleanest and best maintained by far . With fishing to boot on the breakwall it is very special. We definitely well make this a must stay. It is a big park and during holidays I could imagine it being Very busy.

Situated right on boardwalk, excellent caravan park, so much emphasis on maintenance and cleanliness. Lovely spot for couples and families. Walking to CBS a breeze. Could not fault this park.

Great location, perfectly clean campkitchen , nice pool and good amenities. But what made our stay really uncomfortable was the fact, that the amenities and campkitchen were too far away from the unpowered campsites. The unpowered sites are the ones that use the campkitchen the most as they do not have their own kitchen as most of the powered campsite guests have. Why put the kitchen so far away from them, that you basically have to walk around one kilometer just to heat up your water or go the fridge? Also the amenities were very far away. Why not build another amenity block for the unpowered sites that obviously do not have an own toilet in their campervan but have three amenity blocks for the powered sites? Would have made our stay much better!

Absolutely satisfied thanks to Jo in reception after our very confusing decision making Jo made it so easy to organise and she was very patient with us during the process! High regards for this holiday park is it is the perfect place to camp. It is our first time as a couple having a holiday and to do it camping was made so easy with this holiday park. This is a great Park situated by the well known Breakwall. Its central to some awesome walks south or north of tha Park. A Shot stroll into town and shops and eateries. Just to the left of the Park entrance is the beach side 'Little Shack' great for Breakfast or Brunch, lunch , sun downers or dinner. Just about 150 meters further on are tour bookings, like the Sea Plane flights, Fishing Charters, Day and sunset cruises, amongst others. We spent two weeks here and it was a delight to do so. The Park amenities are abundant and kept clean. The pool is larger than you would expect and it's kept sparkling . We have been on the road for a year and a half and we rare the location of this park as one of the best.

We did camping here. The camping sites were all full since it was a long weekend. The location was great and overall toilets and bathrooms were in good condition with 24/7 water availability. Kitchen had induction stove, if someone wanted to cook something serious. And usual barbecue stations were available, as you would find in any other place in Australia. The only problem we felt was that the camp sites were too close to each other.

We stayed on a powered site in our caravan for nine days at this caravan park and found it to have great customer service at reception and all the workers around the park were very polite. We would give this park 6 stars if we could as we found the park to be very well maintained and very clean and very well controlled, and we had a peaceful holiday at this park, this park is also situated close to shops and the beach. Thank you for an enjoyable stay at your park.

Have stayed here so many times over the past 35 years & still love it. It’s so close to all facilities, shops, beach & walks. The park was quite busy however the facilities were exceptionally neat & clean. The staff were courteous & very helpful the young male cleaner even stepped out of the ladies whilst I used the facilities at night.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! The manager here is absolutely nutters, believing that it was acceptable to verbally abuse people staying both in person and over the phone, thinking that yelling at young adults and kids is how you should sort problems out. This manager is passive aggressive and gets unbearably mad when is approached respectfully and asked a question or offered help by children staying at the park, she also tells people to leave without any sort of warning and offering no refund, summed up this place is horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone I know looking for a place to stay, 100% would recommend going to the park next door instead, it's awesome.

We a party of 10 booked a wine tasting followed by lunch at 2.30 on 27 December 2022 . Wine tasting was fine with a lovely selection of wines tasted. Followed by a number of wines purchased. Lunch however was a different experience. After ordering our meals we were told that there was no pasta left? How long does it take to whip up some home made pasta, I've done this many times! So we ordered again and at 3.55pm received our meals. One had been given to another member of our party saying it was part of their sharing order. Two of us received one meal to share. When asked where the other meal was we were told it was given to another member as part of their sharing plate. It was a main dish and not ordered as a share plate. It was returned to us half eaten. In all, the restaurant experience was the worst I together with the other party had ever had, considering what we paid. I suggest you need to get your act together it you want to be regarded as a future place to visit.

Beautiful winery.Went there to the "Know your Producers festival"which was awesome.The grounds and location are spot on and the wine of great quality.

A chat with the friendly staff, a tasting and a take away are a nice way to end the afternoon especially after lunch in the restaurant.

Visited over the Easter break and it was nice. Not the best winery I've been to but the wine was decent, prices were good for bottles if you wanted to buy and the staff were friendly. A few suggestions I'd make in terms of experience for visitors: 1. Better welcoming for wine tastings etc. We got to the top entrance near the carpark and there was nobody to welcome you or direct you down into where they do the tastings. I wandered in and asked some of the restaurant staff where to go. 2. Bathrooms could do with a better upkeep. My wife and I both went to use the facilities at one point in the afternoon then decided we'd just wait as it wasn't very nice or clean 3. We were a few glasses into our tasting (again the staff doing that were lovely) when we were asked to move to the other side of the room. They said they had a big group coming in at 2:30 and needed that side so we said no problem and moved. However, probably would have been good to think ahead and not sit us there just to move us a few mins later. Anyway, no big deal. For the record though, at 3pm, that group had still not come. 3:30 - still not come. Around then, we had finished our last glass and an older staff member came over to tell us they'd need our table. To clarify - our group of 4 were the only customers in the cellar door and all the other tables throughout were vacant with no one in sight. We decided to go next door to the restaurant as we didn't want to leave yet and noticed when we were leaving about half an hour later, there was still no other customers down there. Just a bit disappointing to feel like you were being pushed out, especially as we'd recently been to the Hunter where it seemed all of them were saying 'take your time. Relax. Unwind. Take a walk around if you like' when we finished our tastings. We were actually keen to buy a few bottles to enjoy for the rest of the long weekend and take home, but as we didn't feel particularly wanted at the end of our tasting, we left and no one asked whether we wanted to buy anything anyway. Great spot and decent wines, but could do with some improvement in customer experience

Absolutely loved this place from the moment we drove in the gate. How picturesque. Hats off to Ian who did our wine tasting. Ian was so knowledgeable and Colby who was also very helpful with our order. We joined the wine club which we thought was great value. Thankyou for a lovely day.

On the drive down the coast Cassegrain Winery and its fabulous restaurant is always a welcome break. The food is always outstanding and the service is friendly and warm. Highly recommended 👌

Visited here for lunch for a pitstop on a road trip and was so impressed. Loved the food- a great farm to table approach and everything was perfect. Wine was delicious

Used to be great and hopefully one day it will again but for now this winery has been placed into the hands of administrators and has been declared insolvent. Looking at the place it doesn’t appear to have actually traded for quite a while. Tesla chargers outside are still popular but inside appears to have been mothballed.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Colby for our tasting and he gave lots of technical insight of the wine but also what to do in the local area. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasting would definitely recommend!

Had the pleasure of Colby and Ella taking us through a tasting. Both were very accommodating and friendly when taking us through each wine with the flavours, origins and small details. The Noble Cuvée was so sweet and delicious for a dessert wine, a crowd favourite for sure. It was one of the best tasting experiences and will definitely recommend to anyone passing through.

It looks closed, but it is definitely still open. Just did a wine tasting and picked up a bottle of wine while charging the car. Went with the 2019 Merlot.

My favourite winery in the region. The staff are very professional and friendly and not pushy at all. This was my third visit and I always like their whites... I was blown away by the sparkling chambourcin (a red varietal), the verdelho was one of the best I ever had and the Noble cuvee is the best dessert wine I have ever had. I walked away with 6 of their wines and then proceeded to eat at the excellent restaurant next door.

We went to Cassegrain Wines to do some wine tasting and prior to visiting the cellar decided to have some lunch. We ordered a selection of share plates and was pleasantly surprised with each plate containing a combination of local fresh produce that was just amazing as was the service. After lunch we went and did a tasting, there is a great selection of wines to try and the experience was once again added to by the great service.

We had the best experience doing a wine tasting here. We learned a lot about the wines and the team here are very knowledgeable and chatty. Their winemaker won winemaker of the year and the wines are great. Especially loved the Chardonnay, bubbles and reds. Also had lunch at the restaurant upstairs and it was great.

This mechanic was recommended to us by people who've been in the area for a long time. We were very happy with their service and find them very helpful and straightforward. So far we've done the pink slip with them as well as several services.

I have used Scotty and his team for the last ten years and found the level of service and quality of spare parts to be well above average. Also attention to detail is excellent , the correct part delivered everytime is almost 100%. Great work , highly recommended .

Wonderful heritage precinct to connect with the local history from the beginning of settlement in Port Macquarie.

An informative museum of the history of the region from convict days to today. I didn’t know anything about the region before visiting and came out feeling informed enough to appreciate the remainder of my visit in Port Macquarie. Who knew that public private healthcare partnerships were trialled here…. you will after visiting this museum. Only costs $5 for adults to enter so give it a go for an informative history lesson.

The volunteers here are so amazing, they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Many of the exhibitions are rotated so even if you've been there before chances are you will find something new to enjoy. If you are in the area please drop by and support local (and early Australian) heritage. You will be so happy you did.

Our family was greeted with friendly and informative staff. This place is perfect for all ages. You could easily spend 1 to 2 hours here. They have I-Spy game, colouring and Lego table for the little ones. Beautiful displays. Conveniently located at the city centre. Great discovery and learning experience on Port Macquarie.

The best local small history museums in NSW, the ladies are very lovely. The place is well presented, they are supporting the senior people around the area. Actually you can access it for free if you have a senior card. For adults $5. Port Macquarie is the third city for settlers around 1821, the house was built around 1831 and 1835. It is located on one of the major roads. It was a very enjoyable place for a family trip in Port Macquarie.

Larger than expected, the women at the entrance where very nice. 5$ per person. Museum well kept, really interesting to get to know the importance of this town especially with the arrival of British convicts. Parking with trailer is possible on a side street.

Small but great museum. Conveys well the history of Port Macquarie and surrounding area with some great exhibits and historic artefacts. Apparently only about 10% of all the artefacts the museum has are on display at any one time, due to the limited space. It would be great if more of these, if not all these, items could be displayed. Hopefully the top floor will be renovated soon to allow this to happen.

We were impressed. This museum looks small from outside but very large and plenty to see inside! We learnt a lot about the history of early settlement and their life. Very interesting. We had a family ticket for $15, which was not expected as we expected to pay for adults and children separately. The ladies at the front look like volunteers, they were very welcoming and friendly. There are many free onstreet parking, but was very busy as we went during public holiday. Strongly recommended to visit when you are at Port Macquarie.

Interesting museum with historical information about the early settlers of Australia in particular those around Port Macquarie. Ladies at the reception desk were lovely. Good value for $5.

On the back down to Sydney and we spotted this place on Google and saw that the ginger beer was great, it was. Everything else was good too, loved the session IPA. Place is full of character. A hidden gem well worth swinging by!

The staff were great and recommended us to get a paddle. However it was quite expensive after comparing it to other breweries so just chose one more close to a hoppy beer instead. It was nice and the vibe was great. However once the live music plays it’s really hard to chill and have a conversation.

Fantastic beers, the perfect craft beer atmosphere and the gorgeous brewery dog just topped off the experience. A must visit when in Port if you’re a fan of quality craft beer. Just a shame we can’t buy the beers in Sydney

Had a great time at this little gem. Highly recommended to visit. The gin was good and the beer paddles were great! I tried the fizz, XPA Peach, ginger beer (I went back twice for another!) and the larger… great spot! Will be back!

Had a new beer they just released called Bundyliscious, it's a Red Ale beer, I found it had tones of a Port, it was 8.5% so if drinking a few makes sure you have transport home. If you enjoy a port, check it out as something different. Also enjoyed their Sours.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. We visited Black Duck Brewery on a Friday night while on holiday thru Port Macquarie. The beers were tasty and on this Friday night they had handmade pizza and a top notch local young artist performing live (I believe this is a regular occurrence for Friday nights). We had a great time here and I highly recommend it for any travellers passing through.

Fantastic little setup here with the bar out the front of the warehouse. You can see both the brewery and the bush across the road from where you sit. There are two massive friendly dogs to keep you entertained as well. A little out of the way at the edge of the industrial estate, but very quiet and the staff are as friendly as they come. I'd recommend the Gingerhole Alcoholic Ginger Beer. Got myself a carton to take home for just $60!

This brewery was nice but I didn’t find it very inviting if you have kids - like me. Posters everywhere to keep children seated and quite which I thought was a little inconsiderate. No food van open when we went and just felt awkward being there. I would like to mention the beers but I had a tasting paddle that I thought was good (the only reason I’ve given 3stars ).

Really nice. There are covered areas if you want to get out of the sun. Restrooms are clean. There is a playground for kids and a skate park for the more adventurous. Access to the water is easy. Just walk down the grassy area and you're there. We were there as the tide was running out and it was fun to float along with the current as it went to the ocean.

Nice place for kids to play by the lakeside. Few rides are available including slides, swings etc. Good parking area is available nearby. The Lake nearby is mostly used for fishing 🎣 etc. The sandbed is not ideal for kids play as wet and slushy. One can walk 250-300 meters towards the sea to have nice sand area to play.

Great park and clean toilets. Easy access to the beach and back water. Great swimming spot for the little ones.

Lake Cathie lake is a lovely quiet lake and beach area. It has a great burger shop called Feel Good and a bright yellow coffee van . The highlight for families is a gated park suitable for small children and a skate park for the older kids.

Awesome facility. They have about 4/6 barbecue. You can swim is the still water away from the rough ocean. If you are a fisherman there are plenty of fish. You can even see them jumping. There’s also a good playground. Public were alright

Great lake for the kids to swim in. There's a few eateries across the road if you forget to pack nibbles/lunch. Good play area and toilets. There's also some trees to sit under, park benches and bbqs.

Great place to swim and picnic. Would be great for families with children. The calm waters for the younger ones and the beach for the elder ones. Also a great place to hang and relax with friends!

What a splendid surprise this was. While visiting the area I drove past the turn-off seeing the sign, a number of times. On my last day as I was leaving King Creek, the sign beckoned yet again, and I decided to take the detour and visit. Well this is definitely abundance in all the best ways. Little did I know that it had a lakeside cafe that is just delightful with stunning views. Lovely cake and coffee and I was very happy with the GF baked cheesecake. The nursery/plant area is massive and I imagine you could spend hours looking and buying. Highly recommend this detour.

The new owners of Abundance Cafe are a great fit. The service was great and all staff were extremely friendly despite the stress of a booked out cafe for Mother’s Day. My breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was my coffee. I can’t wait to come back and see how the Cafe grows and matures over time. Definitely my new go to spot!

A wonderful place for brunch. Wonderful staff and great tasting, well presented meals. The view over the large waterlily lake is amazing. The nursery surroundings are great with nice healthy plants and lots of variety. We'll be back. In May 2022 the Cafe is still as good as ever. The plant Nursery is even better

Cannot recommend the cafe highly enough. We had our mum's 90th birthday lunch there yesterday with a group of 22 family members. The food was great, with very generous servings, lovely staff & the service was fantastic. Such a beautiful & peaceful setting. Many of us who live locally will definitely be back.

Review for the cafe not the nursery. Sorry but we found the cafe food not as good as previously and quite expensive. I had the Pork which was very tough no crackle on red cabbage and a blob of apple sauce. My husband had the special which was a hamburger with a handful of chips. We also had a glass of house wine all up $70. Not a great selection on the menu. We will probably not visit again which is a shame. * In Reply to Owner my reviews are not all negative, and praise is given when justified. We are Sorry your cafe didn’t meet our expectations.

The chef knows exactly what he's doing, not a detail left out of place. Presentation and flavour was perfect and serving size was very generous ! My husband and I were very impressed with our breakfast, Abundance has so much to offer. Thank you 😊

Great atmosphere and great coffee. Best scones I've ever had plus you get to watch turtles in the pond. Best Cafe in the area

First time coming here yesterday and it was lovely! The food is great and reasonably priced. Lots of yummy Veg options if you’re vegetarian. Oh and the pond has turtles in it!! Took 1 star off because I received no response to my email or sent enquiry and I had to take my own high chair. Weird they only have 1 high chair considering there’s loads of tables so book ahead and request the high chair or you’ll have to take your own. Other than that I’ll be returning for sure!

The staff are super helpful and more than happy to share their knowledge. Plants are of great quality, plus the on-site cafe is fantastic.

Beautiful little nursery. The attached cafe and their friendly staff did a really nice breakfast roll and coffee. Great spot overlooking the dam with ducks, turtles, water dragons and swamp hens.

Amazing spot. Great tour from Ian, so much history. Check open hours before going.

Excellent church, needs a bigger kids program

Awesome people, so welcoming and friendly. Having 4 services on Sunday is awesome if we miss one we just go to another time so good. The original church is the oldest in Port and looks amazing, these guys do everything from feeding those in need in their soup kitchen to cheese and dip after a service lol👍

Amazing range of items for sale here, so be prepared to browse for a while! Lots of quality clothing (some brand new) & all at very reasonable prices.

Rose and the volunteers are so lovely. They have some very nice things. I always enjoy dropping in here.

A wonderful op shop behind St. Thomas Church. Lots to see. Clothes, crockery, lots of old jewelry, books galore and the resident ginger cat.

The staff at the soup kitchen are amazing and they make wonderful food such a generous bunch of people

This is the church me and my daughter attend. Welcoming and relevant. Excellent sermons, and a wonderful childrens church.
