Just splendid. The lake is simply stunning. They have boating facility also. You can also find bicycles to rent to go around the lake. Trust me one of the best thing to do is to rent a bicycle and go around the lake. You will get scenic views of the lake all around. Also you will find beautiful homes around the lake. But beware of the cars and bikes that also use this road. Else you can merrily wander around the lake road. It will span around 2 kms iirc. Allot around 1hour for this. You will also find shacks selling chocolates and sweaters. The chocolates are damn good for the price paid. Few shops also ship the chocolates to your place if you order through phone.

The market around the lake is also very reasonable and good. You can also rent a bicycle here to get around and it's pretty fun. Don't forget to buy homemade chocolates if you visit here.

You can get a lot of snacks from local vendors in and around. The car can be parked a few meters away from lake at municipal parking ground. The ticket price for person is 75/-.

This is one of the best places in Kodaikanal. I started my trip to Kodaikanal with this lake and summited with the lake only. The lake is so huge and has a local market and food stalls on the street surrounding the lake. You can spend hours here admiring the beauty around you. The lake is really beautiful and clean. Most of the time it is foggy no you can see the clear view but once the sky becomes clear, the view is awesome. We did boating on the lake and it was really good. Paid 250 Rupees for 30 minutes of paddle boating for 4 people, so boating is also not that expensive.

Very good visit. 10 rupees per person ticket and extra for DSLR camera. Not recommended to spend time more than an hour because there are many places nearby. Good spot for wedding photography and family photo shoot. Not too crowded like Guna cave and can take photos without grabbing anyone in to the frame.

Wonderful place to hangout with your loved ones. Definitely your kids will enjoy this nature beauty, especially the horse ride in between the pine trees. There will be difficult in parking your vehicle but somehow you manage that you can enjoy your day. Lot of monkeys there so don't take out your eateries out and the monkeys will attack you for food.

It's a trail of spots approximately 1km apart when you enter the valley. It's 20 rs for entering the road and you can visit 4 spots and park there. The fog made the place mysterious and beautiful. There are horse rides, photo frames etc... available. There are a lot of shops at the entrance. It's very crowded, even parking is hard if you are traveling in a car.

Pleasant walking experience here. Telescope view is available here for 10rs from where you can see a village with 300 people without any road or transport. When we visited its Nov and full of child weather and clouds all around and we could get view of Pillar Rocks as it was covered by clouds. Amazing view and relaxing spot,though its getting crowded with tourists but it will be moving crowd. Place entry fee is 20 INR and parking is free but you need to pay forest entry fee of 50 INR per vehicle. No washroom or water facilities here. Better to keep a reusable water bottle filled as you will not get 1 or 2 liters plastic water bottles here as plastic is banned… sorry only PLASTIC BOTTLES of 1 or 2 litres are banned other than this all plastics is allowed.. Any age person can visit , no walking or climibing here.

P.S- Worth to Try & Buy ‐ The Homemade Chocolates here are way to cheaper and awesome 👌 taste, when compared to the one within the City.

It's a great place for taking some pics and spend some time with friends and family. When we went there the rocks were totally covered by the mist and hard to wait for almost 20 mins to see them. So don't get disappointed if you are unable to view the marvelous nature due to mist, just wait for it to reveal itself. Always too crowdy though so just be careful with kids. Got adequate parking and the entry ticket is just Rs. 5 per adult.

Like several other places it gives a scenic view particularly of some straight Rocky hillside. The view is pleasant but not something that could be described as breathtaking. The tourism department has made up for it by making a beautiful and well maintained viewpoint.

Once fog comes and start covering the pillar rocks, it looks mesmerizing. Stay there for 10- 15 min and experience different view of the same place. Fog will keep coming and going. There is an entry fee of 5rs/- per person. Lot of food stalls are also there.

Visited this place in 2019 October(before pandemic) We need to get pass from forest department to drive till lake. They check it near Moir point. But considering road conditions it’s better to take the Forest dept bus which starts from Moir point. It’s a beautiful journey from Moir point to lake through lush green forest area. Bus stops at some of the viewing points and they give us 5mins to enjoy and take photos at these stops. It takes around 45mins to reach lake. We can go near the lake and spend some time. Overall a good experience and feels so close to nature

Need to get permission from the forest office if you are going by your own vehicle, they issue the pass from 8:30 to 9:30 Tuesday holiday. Berijam Lake is awesome and you can go through more sightseeing spots on the way to Lake. You can also go by Forest vehicle but they charge 200 per head, if you are goin by your own vehicle it's 200 per car and 300 per van

It is inside the reserve forest . To entry with vehicle you have to take pass from forest office between 8.30 AM to 9.30 AM of the same day ( for car Rs 200/- and Van ₹300). Take food and water with you Photos added of the way to berinam lake also

Beautiful and peaceful location. Lots of pine trees around. One small eatery run by the forest department has been opened recently. Tea and bread omlet served in the eatery were good. They serve mini lunch with sambar, rasam and poriyal. Surrounding scenic beauty is mesmerizing. One can enjoy the nature, hours together, even if alone. During our visit, boating was not available.

Nice lake.This location is under forest department control, crowd is lesser because here you can visit either you can visit through your own vehicle after getting forest permission or forest department vehicle we can go with 250 Rupees charge. Beautiful and romantic location. Morning between 8.30 to 9.30 am only you can get permission to visit this berijam lake. Final end point is mannavanur lake. This is shortest route to Mannavanur lake. But you can't visit Mannavanur lake through this route because forest permission for own vehicle valid till berijam lake only.

One of the best places I have ever saw. Such a nice place where you should travel through a thick forest for almost 15 kms with advance permission. If you really have luck you can also see some wild animals and the place is too cold.

I love this place. We need to get permission from forest department to reach this place . So this place is not crowded . We can have our privacy Journey to this lake is awesome. Travel through the jungle . Few view points are there in between . We need to go back before 3.30 as the check list will close on 3.30. A small canteen is here . There you will get nice food. The lake is preserved by the Kodaikanal Forest Department. Lush greenery around the lake is a treat to the eyes. I loved the raw and rustic nature of the wildlife which is protected by the forest department. Before you plan a visit to Berijam lake, make sure you read and follow below information: 1. The way to Berijam Lake starts from Right Hand Side of Moir’s point. 2. You won’t be allowed to enter the forest area leading to Berijam Lake without permission from forest Department. 3. To obtain permission, you need to visit the District Forest Office, Kodaikanal in Laws Ghat Road on the day you are planning to visit the lake. Permits are available only on the same day you shall visit the lake. No prior day permits are issued. 3.a Cost - Rs.200 for Car and Rs.300 for Van 3.b Timings to collect the permits - 08:30 AM - 09:30 AM. 3.c Take any Govt. issued ID proof -DL/Aadhaar Card etc. Digital proof is also accepted. On the gate, it asks DL, RC, PUC, vehicle insurance but not mandatory. 3.d 50 vehicles allowed per day. DFO can issue more permits at their disposal. 4. Tuesdays are closed for maintenance activities in the forest areas. 5. No two wheelers allowed. 6. The area is quite picturesque, with amazing collections of plants and flowers. Over a sizable area, there are many lawns. It is quite nicely kept. There are several places to take pictures. Small streams may be seen all the way along with a lake in the middle. On the other hand, the lake's shores are a little bit unclean. However, the location's attractiveness is least compromised. Great choice to spend a few hrs with loved ones or friends. The vista is enhanced by the tall trees and the mist that runs through them. In case of rain, there are also resting sheds. The biggest problem, which is a major one throughout the city, is parking. Adults must pay ₹30 to enter, which is entirely reasonable.

One of the best places to visit in Kodaikanal. The park is spread over acres and has huge variety of flowers and trees. It is very well maintained and there are many spots for a good pic. A great spot to just sit and relax and have fun, play games. A great picnic spot too. The entry fee is just Rs 30/- which in my honest opinion is a bit less, given the park as a whole. There are lots of spots outside the park for buying food items and souvenirs.

A nice place in the heart of Kodai next to the lake. Nice to spend time with family and friends and quite cool in the evenings. We were here in the mid of March and it looked a little dry with most of the plants being recently planted and the rose gardens trimmed etc so we could not see the best of this garden. Quite a big place and a nice place for nature lovers and also for those who plan to buy plants. Over all a nice place but may be the best time to visit is after the rains. Stay safe ! A very good and quiet place to relax in the green grasses.there are many varieties of plants to see and it was fascinating.we can even play games inside this park.they also sell many tree saplings and plants for 10rs each which is wonderful.this would make the Kodaikanal trip complete 💯.

Very beautiful park, entry charge is 20 per person. Beautiful flowers can be seen if visited in the right season. The canteen inside the park is not so good and I won't advise you to even have tea. Also you can see clouds covering part of the park, which looks very stunning.

This is huge park with garden and landscape. Entrance is exactly opposite to Coakers walk entrance. Entry ticket is 30 rupees for adult and 15 rupees for children. Here you can walk around and roll in grass to exhaust yourself in the joy. During the season time, lot of flowers will be flourishing and it will be an excellent scenery. Towards the end of the park, you can find the children play area, where u have see-saw, swing and slider. Lot of locations for photographic freaks. Must visit place in Kodaikanal.

Best place to relax with family and friends in Kodaikanal. We went there in non-season time so lil disappointed with the park since they had no flowers at all. Only a few varieties were there. They charge 30/- for one adult and 50/- for DSLR. The weather was very nice so we were able to enjoy our time in the greeny hushy bushy garden. Restroom facilities and small eateries were there inside the park.

I have never seen this much of unique flower in a single park. Smell of eucalyptus tree u can feel there in the air. A very big and beautiful place is this park

Guna caves is not accessible but can be viewed from the top. Devil's kitchen is quite interesting to see and the walk in the woods is very nice. Also the view of the valley from top is very mesmerizing.

One of the most beautiful and marvelous place I've ever been. The trees and dense fog covering them , just breath taking. You can see some trees with the most beautiful root structures . You will definitely feel you are in magical place. There's a entry fee of Rs. 10 and then there's a small 5-10 mins walk inside. The caves are closed since 2012 and not open to the public but u can visit the area for it's scenic magical beauty

The visitors should have to visit in the early morning. Because during that period you can see the beauty of fog. Moreover, at that time the number of visitors in that location is less.. You can capture variety of photos and videos from there. The roots of the big trees are attractive and also good for photoshoots. I recommend this place for shooting.

Beautiful place, mesmerising view. Caves are sealed you can enjoy the beautiful scene with the dense forest with clouds fog or mist. Entry fee is 10Rs per person. You need to wait for hours and hours in the traffic. But the view is worth it. You will find lots of shops if you wanna eat or buy some stuff. Make sure you have a Tamil friend with you.

The cave is closed for safety reason. So we can't go inside the cave. We can take photo the massive tress roots. And main this i liked is the view point. Very stunning mountain view.

Steps are high so be careful while walking. Plenty of monkeys are there hence request you not to take or eat any food items there. The cave is closed due to negligible deaths. I went there with an expectation of seeing some caves but that's not totally true neither it is false. There are caves but not the one you are thinking, it's a long range of open roof caves which are very steep and huge. The place where you can go and see the cave is caged up because it is very dangerous. But if you see through the side you can actually see how huge and deep the caves are.

It's a trail of spots approximately 1km apart when you enter the valley. It's 20 rs for entering the road and you can visit 4 spots and park there. It's 10/- for the entry. We can't actually see the guna caves properly as it is located at the bottom and is sealed off. You can see the devil's kitchen which is the huge roots of the tree which along with the fog gives you a dark mysterious vibe. It is very crowded.

Good photogenic place. Not a cave though. It's more of an extension of the pine forest atmosphere with outer roots and an eerie vibe. The caves are closed off for the general public. Lots of photographers are available in the area too. Overall, worth a quick visit.

We do not enter or see any caves. Please don't have those expectations. You can see just the entrance somewhere deep below. Don't even think of going on weekends or long holiday. It took us 3 hours to reach here from Kodaikanal as it was a long holiday. We had to pay 50 rupees to forest department for using the road which includes going to pillar rock and pine forest. Then we had to pay 10 for ticket. It was such a waste to reach there after a traffic jam. You just see a view point which you will see anywhere in Kodaikanal and some tree roots.

Its a tourist place in kodaikanal It is one of the most popular place in kodaikanal Its because two great movies are based on this place: Guna (kamal hasan movie) and Manjummal boys(malayalam movie) Guna caves initial name was Devil's kitchen The real guna cave is restricted to all passengers we can only see the outside part of the guna caves The real guna caves is not visible from this place The entry fee to this place is rupees 10 Its all about an experience to visit there And the place also has a good view point The famous pone forest is nearby guna cave.

Went with high hope but it wasnt as great as I expected. There were many monkeys so that was a struggle. We should be careful, and better not to carry any food items. The mobile network is very weak. Ticket collectors are clever not to give back change so be mindful about collecting the change.

Location : the devils kitchen is the original name for this place but after Kamal Hassan’s movie Guna the place is now famously known as Guna caves. This caves are located away from Kodaikanal city it will be around 1/2hr to 1hr journey depending on traffic. After pine tree we get Guna caves and the road is one way only you can enter from this way and exit will be made from different way towards Kodaikanal. The road to Guna is narrow and surrounded by lush pine tree forest areas it’s a festival to eyes during monsoon season and creepy during night due to dark and narrow road turns. Place : the cave is absolutely stunning but sadly you can only see the depth or cave type structure from far and few are even grilled.one you reach place you have enough free parking available on roads and you need to walk little steps to reach cave entry. On way you have washrooms for male and female and there will be lady who will be selling flower/vegetable seeds to grow in your garden,you can buy if needed I bought mixed flower packet for 30rupee. there was no entry fee for cave when I visited if there is any max 10-20 rupee per person. Then you have to walk little further to reach cave , we don’t get to go down to explore cave , we get only view of large tree roots which are designed by nature in very marvellous way , it’s a pictorial place for sure. You can climb up the tree roots on your own risk to see top view and there is one parabola to see the forest view from Guna spot Overall this place is must if your visiting kodaikanal. Tips: 1. Never ever go on weekends the enter Kodaikanal will be filled with people trust me it’s very bad idea and mostly people from Kerala come is buses so it will be hugely crowded and you can’t enjoy anything in peace. 2. Take one entire day to cover pine forest , Guna , Poondi , vattakanal and surrounding small villages which have great views and land scape , it will be long journey but you won’t regret. 3. Always leave early to cover more places and take umbrella and sweater for mercy carry cash even though Phonepay is available for backup. 4. Before visiting the Guna cave I really recommend you to watch Guna and manjummel boys movie you will love it for sure. Don’t be worried about foods you get to taste varieties of delicious food in every tourist and common places of Kodaikanal price will be pricy due to tourist place but may be normal during weekends. Carry some food for street dogs in and around as they depend on us.

A beautiful temple on top of a hill devoted to Lord Murugan. There is ample car parking space. It is pretty calm and quiet on or before 9am and then it gets pretty crowded really soon. There are a number of decent eateries and shops to buy knick knacks or local chocolates. A must place to visit.

One of the most famous temple in Kodeekanal. The temple and it's surrounding is neat and clean and well maintained. From the top of the hill you can view the whole town of kodeekanal. Lot of gift items, chocolate can be purchased from the shops near to temple. Car parking space is very less. Very those who are visiting kodeekanal must visit this temple. Kurinji Andavar Temple is devoted to Sri Subramnyam Swami also called as Sri Murugan Swami in Tamil Nadu and Sri Kartikeya in North India. The temple is calm and peaceful. The main deity here is Lord Murugan Swami, along with Murugan Swami it also has a small vigraha of Lord Ganesha and Navagraha. This is an ancient and powerful temple. One should certainly visit this temple. Palani hill view is just behind the temple where you can have a view of Palani hills.

This temple is very clean and cool. Excellent dharsan of lord Murugaa. This temple connects the backstory of kurinji flower which blossoms 12 years once. We can feel the chillness in this place as it is located over the valley. The rest rooms are not functioning so please plan accordingly. Drinking water installed inside of the premises.

The compund have Kurinji plants which blooms in every 12 years, hence the temple got the name as Kurinji Andavar. Outside the temple, on the left side, there is a walkway which have a great view of Palani mountain. There are many antique shops, Chocalate shops etc near the temple. A small but beautiful murugan temple - well maintained, neat and clean.We went early in the morning at opening time and witnessed abhishekam for Murugan possibly by a devotee family. It's a bit far off from the town. It was calm and peaceful at least at that time. There is a path around with a railing like a view point from which you can supposedly see Palani. At that time however we couldn't see it due to fog though it was quite sunny even that early in the morning - in fact blinding if you were facing east. Although we couldn't see Palani hill, the view of the landscape was beautiful.

Beautiful temple, Lord Murugun is called as Kurinji Andavar here. less crowded and lot of shops available outside of the temple. This temple is not just any other abode of worship, it has a rich historical past. It was constructed in 1936 by Lady Leelavathi Ramanathan, an Australian who married the Solicitor General of Ceylon called PonnambalamRamanatham. Hindu scriptures inspired her so much that she converted into a Hindu, and after her husband died, she built this temple commemorating his memory.

My most fav place in Kodaikanal . A very beautiful and ritual place. This is the only place in Kodaikanal which has KURUNJI PLANT…..which blooms once in 12 years . Next bloom in 2030.

Good Lord Muruga temple. There is Lord Muruga, Vinayaga, Vishnu, Hanuman. There is Kurinji plan as Virutcham inside temple premises. Worth a visit.

The spot gives a wholistic aerial view of Kodaikanal lake and surrounding settlements, nothing much at this place. There are few shops nearby selling souvenirs and food. The food spot was really crowded, probably yummy, didn’t try it though. Travelling couple of kilometres uphill just for this view is worthy or not worthy depends on individual’s preference.

Upper Lake View lies on the way to Green valley view point. Upon reaching here, you get a wonderful view of the star-shaped lake, surrounded by lush greenery. The view is absolutely camera worthy and there are a few shops outside in case you are interested in shopping.

View from here is nice. But the road to this place is very narrow and will be crowded. So be careful.

The view was spectacular, the mist rolled in from on direction as were watching, I was expecting it to fill the lake up but mist didn't work like that, it just pretended to roll like that and didn't do much you can see it in the video. The tea stall opposite is just a scam, for 3 hot chocolates and 1 boost they charged 150, driver insisted that we drink there, now I also suspect the driver...

This place was average. The view was okay. We can see the Kodaikanal lake from the view point. It doesn't have separate parking spot. But the road had good space to park cars.

The view point is really good from where you can get a good view of the city and the kodaikanal lake. Usually there are not many people around it. Definitely a worth visiting place. Should not take more than 10 minutes here.

You can have a wonderful view of hills and lake from this view point if it's a clear climate. Many shops are available in and around. During your sightseeing tour the driver is going to stop here. Take pictures and enjoy.

Kodaikanal lake is a star shaped lake and from this point you can see the top view of the lake, it will give you drone shot view and you will love the view, but only issue is the small space which is there to overlook this beauty, its like on the middle of the ongoing road And as the roads in kodai are mostly oneway it makes this place little congested to park your vehicle and spend more time, otherwise obviously it is a beautiful place!

This place is part of the valley tour in kodai. Mostly the cab drivers come to this place at the end as there is not much to explore. Its a beautiful small lake with some beautiful scenic scenes around. At the entry there is a ticket counter which you have to buy but that does not include the boat ride. There is a walking distance of around 3-4 km from the main gate to the lake point. There are two small shops for refreshments at the entrance not that good but okay. Restrooms are there but pls use only in the case of emergency.(Not recommended). Small round shaped boat activity is done by the 3-4 local people and they charge 100-150 rs/ per person. This will be like 20 mins rounds. Else u can enjoy the surroundings...but if you are planning to visit Kodaikonal then do try to visit this place. Thx

We reached in the evening and it was a lovely experience. Ticket cost was 30 per person. There was ample parking space but its free outdoor parking. Not many people were in, so it was very peaceful. There are some water activities but it was drizzling when we visited. I visited this place after visiting Sheep farm

Mannavanur lake is a beautiful and calm place to enjoy your one day picnic. Parisal(coracle) ride in this lake is different experience. must try even if it is for a very short duration(10 min). Need to walk a bit from the ticket counter.

This is an amazing place. It is so peaceful and beautiful. There is a small 5 min trek to the lake and there is also a park kind of thing. You can trek all the way up and enjoy the lake view from top. Do not miss this if you are going to Kodaikanal. We booked a jeep from Kodaikanal costing around 4k for 4 villages.

It would have been more beautiful if it had rained. The area is just so big and beautiful there are couple of benches that are placed at the top of hill where we cn go and sit away from the usual crowd. It's a lovely place to sit and enjoy the breeze and beautiful view and just take a moment to live with all the calmness you can get. Me and my husband just sat there looking at the view lost in thoughts enjoying each other's company in silence. On the other side we got to see sheep farm, rabbit farm and another view point. Overall a good experience especially if you want to bring kids they will enjoy the parisal boat ride, and seeing rabbits and sheep. Snacks and juice shop are available at the entry point.

Quite a beautiful place to spend some time. Awesome view. Farm doesn't matter but the location is great and you could spend alot of time there. Only problem is the parking, so go earlier in the morning and leave the place before the rush.

A very beautiful and serene place to spend your time. Green fields run for as far as you can see. It looks like Scotland of Tamil Nadu. It's just stunning. WOW...!!! Each and every view is breathtaking. You can see horses, buffalos enjoying their time. You can also see a shepherd with his sheep. It looks like a view from The Hobbit movie. To imagine such a beautiful place exist in India is in itself extraordinary. It's worth the visit and worth every penny.

The trekking path from the entrance to the lake is adorable with streams, kids play area, volleyball/badminton outdoor court and canteen. Zipline, parisal boat ride, horse rides are the major attractions here. Tickets for zipline and horse ride can be taken bwar the rides itself. Very important point to be noted. Tickets for boating is compulsorily to be taken at entrance along with the entry tickets.

Mannavanur Lake and activities spot in kodaikanal. Around 1:30hrs from Kodaikanal. Road to the spot is good in between and a few bad roads. We went in jan first weekend and it was totally misty everywhere and visibility was poor. The mannavanur Lake spot entry has a dedicated car parking but parking at our own risk. Entry ticket is ₹30 for adults. Coracle boating and zipline activities are subjected to weather conditions. Zipline service was unavailable during my visit and the coracle rides were cancelled due to poor visibility. But luckily we got a small window with clear weather and enjoyed the parisal ride. Almost 200mts to be walked to reach the lake site. It will be a bit tough for senior citizens. No vehicle drop service available to the lake site. I even requested the forest officer but no such service was provided. Coracle ride per person costs ₹100. 5 pax allowed per ride. The view is amazing and surely everyone shall enjoy it if the weather conditions are good. A horse ride is also there inside. There are few eateries at the entrance of the site.

You need to carry cash. It's a small lake and also you can go Kayaking. There is a park. There is a restaurant and eatery shops inside. Well maintained place. Good space is present for parking.

The Bear Shola Falls derived its name from the fact that bears used to come to this fall for drinking water. The best time to visit the falls is during the rainy season when the water level is at its fullest and thus most beautiful. During non-monsoon season, there is not much water in the falls. There is an instant photographer available there to take pics and take back physical copies. Around ₹150-200 based on photo size. Its a bit steep in certain spots and we climb downhill and uphill. Not recommended for people with heart conditions or asthma. There are stalls through the hike so not a problem for a drink and light snack. Visit on weekdays to enjoy it with lesser crowd.

Last strip of the road is bit narrow and challenging for 2 vehicle at one time.. therefore if you plan a visit during weekends, plan it early and find suitable parking. carry proper footwear (covered shoes) for trekking, hope you all enjoy the visit .

The place is absolutely beautiful, you have an hour or more of trekking (downhill while going and uphill while coming back) around 1 km. The restaurant nearby are good. Be there bit early or it gets dark around 5. You can go there post 5 but the view won't be there. Best time will be around 3 pm

One of the most beautiful and majestic viewpoints is Dolphin's Nose. It is a place that everyone should visit at least once. Even if it is difficult for the rich person to reach this place, all that difficulty disappears once they reach that place. And it is the most important tourist attraction of Kodaikanal region. Visitors to this place should approach with utmost care and safety.

Dolphin nose is the most beautiful view point of Kodai. The view you get from here is of the breathtaking landscapes, they quench your thirst for enticing natural endeavour from deepest valleys to highest mountains. The experience at the edge of the nose is an enthralling and scary (not really for faint hearted) as one would be able see their legs trembling from the little scare and the sheer madness of the height of the peak. Fog doesn’t help change this perspective as the trek to the peak is also not a piece of cake.

What should I say about this place, it's risky and phenomenal at the best. First of all there is a very nice trek to reach there, I mean it is a pretty normal trek, very good for the first timers as well, then there are certain view points in between, and finally the main place is very dangerous in term of there is no safety rails or equipments, but the view is breathtaking provided there are no clouds. Trek has lot of food stalls on a higher price point.

TREK TREK TREK. It was amazing trip. The was so beautiful. There was no pollution and no plastic used in entire Kodaikanal as the plastic is banned. And We found the steps to climb the hill were really awesome and built naturally with tree roots and rocks. The way is really picturesque. And I couldn't stop taking the photographs. After reaching the peak point that is Dolphin's Nose it was more thrilling to stand on a peak rock and posing for a titanic style picture. Can't forget the memorable event. NICE PLACE FOR TREKKING.

The roads heading towards approx 1.5 km is very narrow can occupy only one vehicle at a time. I suggest to visit this place either at early morning or late evening to avoid such traffic. Only two wheelers and cars allowed inside. If you are having wide vehicles, you need to walk again for another 1 km which is huge task for families.

Best trekking spot in kodai for adventure lovers, indeed a wonderful experience, the whole place was covered with fog, dolphin nose rock was little bit scary and dangerous, saw many wild gaurs on the way, many refreshment shops are also their. Highly recommended, avoid childrens and old age peoples.

Best trek near kodai. We will go downhill first and return is uphill so while returning back it is little hard to keep up. They have shops at some points to sit and relax. Please stop at mountain view point, it is soo pretty to sit there on the benches will get good photos as well. Don't need tickets to do trek.

This is a splendid place to visit if you are really interested in history and culture. If you are visiting Kodaikannal this museum should be your starting place as it will increase awareness on the scenic beauty and the history of this place in fact the whole mountain range. My interest was on the many varieties of birds, animals, reptiles, insects and there sequence of collection. It is pretty amazing to witness the hard work of the Jesuits who collected the stuff for years. Pay a visit and mark my words you will feel the might as you enter.

It’s located in the entrance of Kodaikanal and everyone much visit this place before reaching Kodaikanal. Located before silver falls. It’s an ancient museum. Entry fees is just Rs. 30/- only. Can learn all knowledge about birds and animals.

It was really great to be there. I visited during the winter. Though the weather was freezing, the days were amusement. And the museum is worth visiting with an affordable entry fee (₹30/adult and ₹10/child). The museum's staffs were kind and humble. They've exhibited ancient stones and coins also the burial pot. Also we could find the skeletons of animals and reptiles, the skins of giant pythons. The growth of the baby is exhibited. There were enormous variety of butterflies and snakes. In addition, handcrafted ornaments are available for sale. Restrooms facilities are also provided as well.

The science museum is located approximately 5 kilometers away from city centre. A quiet and calm atmosphere ,there is sufficient place for parking your car ,and it's free. There is entrance fee for visiting the museum 20 rupees for an adult and rupees 10 for using mobile camera . It's good place to see the the relics of different animals .There is a verity of snakes which are preserved in containers with some sort of liquid preservatives added in and it's look like real. Different collection of birds which are stuffed and kept in transparent closets. An excellent place to visit ,with your kids . No rush that you feel in some other main attractions in the location.

Awesome place, you will get some nice clicks here. You will have to do a very little trek to get to the falls. Rocks near the falls are bit slippery, so have to be little careful. The road to this spot is little narrow and you will have to park your car in the road. This spot is on the way to Dolphin nose. It's worthy visit.

A good little falls on the way to Dolphin nose ! Easily reachable (no tracking skills required) to the place from the road. Just be mindful of the vehicle 🚗 and parking ! The leading roads are small and needs a good driving skills to go and come back !

Vattakanal is about 6650ft height from the sea level. Consist of mostly thick forest and was vegetated with pine trees eucalyptus and many flora and fauna. Climatic season is about October to February 🥶 Remember don't bring plastic materials to the forest which was strictly prohibited. SAVE FOREST GO GREEN 💚

An enjoyable place to visit if you don't visit too many waterfalls. It's difficult to reach there as the roads are narrow. You feel difficult to drive car if any vehicle comes in the opposite direction. Also, parking is an issue. You can get into the waterfalls and enjoy the same. However the water will be very cold. Multiple viewpoints are on the way so you can enjoy the waterfalls if you are going near by

Perfect place for family, You don't even have track for this. You can park car right next to Waterfall. I visited in August mid and it was really good. Avoid taking bath since water is cold too much. Need to climb carefully since rocks becomes slippery over time. No entry fees. I found broken glass bottle in water so need to careful and watch in water..

Coolest and Beautiful place. During monsoon it doesn't feels like falls it will be felt like heaven fully covered with fog and chillness. But be careful on your footsteps because rocks will be slippery.

Its a beautiful waterfall and a must visit. We went here early morning when it was not crowded and we visited this place in Aug 2022 just after rains. So in all a good experience. There is no entry ticket to this place. You can get in to the water here.

If you are visiting in summer then there's no chance you can see the cascading beautiful waterfall. I visited in March and found the place with less water. On our way back from Dolphin's Nose trek saw this waterfall. No entry fee required. Just need to get down and enjoy the beauty. But in summers don't expect the same still it's a good place to take pictures and enjoy.

Wonderful scenic step cut waterfalls...looks amazing. Jus a small falls to take a photo's and videos, the water will be very cold and rocks are slippery. Be careful while walking. This is on the way to dolphin nose point.
