Water slides & pool are lovely & clean. Dolphin show is amazing. Atmosphere is calm & friendly. Food is a little pricey & I felt the Pirate show was lacking adventure. The toilet facilities are good & clean. Lockers are available. You can hire sun loungers & shade - €10. (Or just a lounger for €5) Parking is free. I would recommend a visit.

Nice experience and so much fun! The pools were great, just be careful if you go in summer, you probably won't have any space to move. Same thing goes for the food, you will have to wait a long time, specially in the summed but overall, it's worth it

We have now visited Zoomarine 4 times and loved it every time. The place is clean, staff polite & friendly. Everything is well sign-posted. Shows that they put on are always great, educating and fun. Animals are looking healthy and well looked after. The swimming pool is awesome, spacious and warm. Good selection of water slides and rides. Butterfly world is a lovely addition to the park. Will definitely be back in the future.

This place is amazing!! We are definitely going again! It is a theme park/water park/zoo! It has everything you need, there is cafes and restaurants and lockers so no need to bring anything just your swimming costume and ticket, highly recommend.

Amazing place, any animal lover will find something for themselves. Over the whole day, there are several shows of dolphins, seals and sea lions, parrots, birds of prey and tropical birds, so you can plan the visit how you want. The 🐬 and 🦭 shows were absolutely amazing, go there first in case you want to repeat it later 😀 There is also aquarium 🐠, 🦋 garden  and 🦜🐢🦩🐊 habitats, all open the whole day. The slides are cool too, but the queues are really really long. I would recommend you to get there early as there is a lot to see 🤩.

Was lots to do. There were alot of rides for the kids. It’s nice that there is the zoo and the water park as well as regular rides so you can do all the rides and animals and then relax in the water park. Although it was busy there wasn’t a wait time for anything. We went on a Saturday in the off season so wasn’t bad at all. Really reasonable to get in. Food was very reasonably priced as well.

Loads to do here, the water park is amazing with loads of slides. The rides here are great fun for the kids. All the animal shows are amazing. We even did the swimming with dolphins this was amazing. Alot of money but the memory's are there for ever.

Great family day out. Next time we'll bring swimwear so we can enjoy all of the park properly. I would recommend a couple of days as there is so much to do and see. Great shows as well as rides.

Absolutely Fantastic place! The Dolphin show was amazing. The place was clean and tidy. Food was a bit pricey for the quality, but they are always, in these sort of places. My daughter also had the Dolphin interaction in a group, which she liked. It was fantastic to learn about these beautiful animals.

Great place for families with children, a lot of water toboggans, swimming pool, waves pool, you can stay on the grass or on the sand. Good prices for food and drinks. In a few words just great for fun in the summer holidays!!

Great day out for the kids, food tasty and not too expensive. Long queues to be expected for the rides, would definitely need a 2 day ticket to get around all of the attractions. Shows are very good and not to be missed, especially the dolphin and pirate show.

Worth a family trip , decent park overall. All the shows were good but the Dolphin show was amazing and definitely not to be missed. Good restaurants offering wide varieties. Water slides were well maintained and kids friendly .

Great place to visit whilst on your holidays. My hotel was 30minute coach journey which isn’t bad. The shows are great only managed to see the seal show due to the timing for other shows and activities. To do everything would be best over 2 days. Food and drink prices are reasonable. To use the pools and water the lockers are €5 and €5 deposit which you get back once the key has been handed back in. Good ride selection for children and adults to take part also.

Very good theme park, most would need two days to explore it all. The dolphin and seal shows are fantastic, it is lovely to see the love and care the trainer's have for them. Also the pirate show is a lot of fun. It's very clean and well looked after, well worth the entrance fee, also the band's that you can put money on are handy so you don't have to carry cash or your phone with you and it's refundable at the end of you don't spend it all. Although it doesn't work on the drinks machine's so you might need cash for them. It's recommended to get there before 10am so you can fit it all in if your only there for a day also there is a very good app to plain your day.

Fantastic place. A must visit for anyone going to Portugal. Dolphin emotions was unbelievable. Usually I'd be concerned about enclosures but they are spacious and seem very well cared for!. Kids loved the water park too plenty of options for all ages.

Had a really amazing day here with my husband & even though it rained a little it didn't dampen our spirits. The park is immaculate with lots to do for anyone of any age. We arrived for it opening & didn't leave till closing time & I love how much they do for conservation.

Fantastic place. All animal displays were dual language. Videos have subtitles. all animals looked healthy and happy. My wife and I had a deal for up to 3 day visits included in our holiday package. You definitely need 2 days to see all shows and exhibitions as well as make use of the pools and fun fair rides. Nice cool under cover pic nic/food hall area as well as grass and "beach" areas if you wish to be in the sun.

I was unsure about going here as I'm not a big fan of zoos. I was pleasantly surprised. The displays were good, although aimed at a slightly younger audience. The usual lectures about how we humans are bad for the environment etc.

We went late in the day yet we still had a wonderful time. Download the app and get to know the map & schedule it will help. Definitely recommend to spend a day there.

Great place to visit if you're in the region, fun for all the family/here on your own or as a couple. There are amusing shows to attend including a fantastic dolphin show, but with lots of emphasis on conservation and the marine hospital that they have. Great water and funfair rides as well as a wave pool, massive swimming pool and lots of areas to lounge. Definitely worth going to if you're here for a few days.

Fab day out, so much to see and do. The €10 for 2nd day is a great deal. Highlight was the Butterfly 🦋 House, Dolphins and water slides 🐬🐬

Great day out. We got a taxi here 20/10/23. £72 euro for two adults and a child but well worth it and you will need the majority of the full day to enjoy. The dolphin show is beautiful and there is a bird show too. We had to rent beds for 15 euro which was fine. Little amusement park and we had lunch here too. Great day out.

Amazing place long sandy beach and another side are red and yellow rocks. It's around 12km for walking along the beach. Good for hiking and walkable on the top of the rocks and by the ocean. Amazing views.

Super chill beach. Perfect place for reading and sunbathing. Nice boardwalk behind the sandbar so you can enjoy the views and ocean sounds without having to get sandy too!

Really beautiful clean beach. Miles and miles of beautiful sand. Plenty of cafes along the beach when you need a break. Sea quite shallow but be careful of the strong currents. A good place to try out surfing if you are a beginner as waves not too big. Keep walking along the beach and there are water sports and para sailing activities.

Quite amazing beaches and rock formations along this coast. You can walk along the beach or on the cliff through the greenery. Both have very different aspects of the rock formations. Great sunset views too. Highly recommend!

Incredible beach against the backdrop of some beautiful red cliffs. Amazing and clean sand, tonnes of space. No animals / dogs as the cliffs are quite dangerous. The water is lovely and you can rent pedalos/jetskis if that floats your boat

Absolutely awesome and stunning. Great place to walk around and enjoy the nature in it's fullest. Fresh air and the Sound of the ocean and the breeze of the wind will make you comfortable. Nice beach of fine white sand with some low lying red cliffs. A wooden walkway runs along a section of the beach.

We were here 4 years ago and think if you want to complete with the establishment beside the car park you need to give it a good overall but food and drink was good and reasonable priced

Fun and lively place; lots of restaurants, bars, gift shops, and live music. Plenty of spots for ice cream lovers. This area gets really busy in the summer evenings. But still exciting to explore. They have live music in some restaurants. There was live music on a stage by the beach. There is a spot where you can get a taxi. Tonight the line for that was extremely long. I also noticed plenty of places to do hookah. Highly recommend coming here during your stay.

Much nicer than the new town, lots to see and do and seeped in history. You will find the best fish restaurants here. Market stalls and gift shops galore. Very pretty area close to the marina where you can book lots of activities.

Visited here often during our week stay in April. It was nice to walk around both day and night, browsing the shops and soaking up the atmosphere. Plenty of places to shop and eat in the old town - however, slightly more expensive than local places not located here (to be expected). There was a nice 'buzz' and atmosphere every time we visited. We much preferred this to the new town and 'strip' area. Would recommend.

This place has it all ! Such charm, beauty, friendly people. You’re always only steps away from restaurants, shopping, groceries, liquor/ beer stores. Beach is very impressive. You can walk for miles and see awesome cliffs and caves. You’re minutes from Strip with nightlife and entertainment. Love this place!

Beautiful old town housing not only attractions but also many restaurants serving world cuisine. In evening the streets are busy with bars and music. On one side is a beach reachable through a tunnel. There are hundreds of the accommodations. Whole day it is busy with tourists.

We were staying at Vilamoura and travelled to Albuferia for a few hours. It is a beautiful town with so much to see and do. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the people we spoke to were warm and friendly. The only downside is the large number of British males who visit here for stag does and to get out of there head on alcohol. While I'm sure the town makes vast sums of money from from these sorts of tourists it does spoil the atmosphere.

Decent old town with good shops and a few local gems for food but this whole area of Albufeira has been ruined by British people either moving here or coming over in large crowds. Place is full of run down pubs/bars and places selling bland food. Portuguese government need to have a clear out of everyone here that isn't Portuguese. Nothing Portuguese or cultural about this sadly - not sure what the attraction is going from the home country to another location abroad which is just like home 😐

Brilliant blend of old and new. Restaurants galore. My suggestion is to go back a street from the main square and the prices go down without compromising on quality. Night life to suit all ages. My favourite is the Rock Cafe bar in the square. Live bands every night.

Albufeira is a very walkable city, from the marina to old town Albufeira, you’ll encounter beautiful views and small nice stores and restaurants. You can also take the Hop-on-Hop-off buses and get off on one of the five stops in or near the city center. Old town has a lot of stores and bars, like Central Station. We had lunch at Restaurant 54 which has a sea view just near the centre towards the marina. Depending on what you’re into, I am sure you’ll enjoy your time here.

We went into the old town for the day as we were up by the strip, which I didn't really enjoy. We had lunch in Flavours, by the beach, which was lovely. Then had a few cocktails and had tea in The Square. I loved the atmosphere so much more in the Old Town so if I was to go back I'd look for accommodation there. Live singing in the streets which was fab!!

Really loved it! Beautiful town. We went for a long weekend. There is crazy nightlife if you want it but equally if you just want a nice meal and a few drinks in the evening that's possible too. Beautiful beach. Will definitely be returning.

I found Old Town super! The novelty shopping, the bars and restaurants, the tunnel onto the beach - all so super. Our family spent a lot of time in this long stretch of shops and restaurants. Night life is also great - noisy for those who don't like noise, but full of life and fun for those who do.

The Old town I found more peaceful 🙌🏼 less crowds, bars and clubs. In December perfect 👍 the beach was also quiet enough. Plenty of bars and restaurants around but again more chill and calm in the old town. Beautiful areas and little vintage spots. Up further into the old town there was plenty of Christmas stalls, small little ice rink and plenty of little quirky shops. In around the old town in the middle the shops are more expensive than the ones outside the main attraction spots. Overall hands down …. Old town was definitely for me, especially if your not a drinker 🙌🏼

Albuferia is a lovely coastal city with sandy beaches. A holiday destination with blue sky and the temperature to go with it. I would have loved if Albuferia kept or stamped the Portuguese identity in history, food, culture to the place. Disappointed to find that it was almost impossible to find anything Portuguese. The essence of travelling is to be open and experience different cultures, to learn about the host way of life, to broaden one's horizon. The food I had was void of any taste, bland, uninspiring. Ruined the evening. Period☹️ One positive was the octopus was succulent but tasteless. But if you want fish and chips, or an English breakfast or a pub "more of the same" this is your place. Warm, sandy beaches all good.🤣🤣

Nice walk, lots of shops and bars etc. Only 3 stars as it was very much the same same with almost every shop selling the same stuff. Other Old towns in Europe (Dubrovnik for eg) 100% more on offer. But that said, some nice restaurants, and beach to cool off in.

Lovely lively place, lots of little shops to get cute bits like jewellery, clothing and souvenirs. Great atmosphere in the evening with music and entertainment.

The beach at Old Town is lovely! There are loads of options for food. The market was OK but not much variety between vendors, so once you've seen a few shops, you've seem most of what's on offer. Nightlife seems good. We went on a Tuesday and it was relatively quiet but enough people round to have a dance and some fun. Would have liked to go on a weekend to compare but didn't have time. The live music was great! I loved Nuno Ness and the band at Vegas Bar.

Many restaurants and bars. Nice seaview. There are some interesting historical remains, but unfortunately the government doesn't renovate enough, so many buildings are in a really bad shape.

I came here with no knowledge, went away really pleased, people and atmosphere were great. Everyone is friendly. The old town is great. You have the night life this place is great for solo, couples and families. Feeling very safe, no one pressures you like other tourist places, I love and enjoyed the Algarve region An amazing short time guarantees a return.

Lots of bars, restaurants, music, and excitement. On a great beach. It’s got everything you need. The old cobblestone roads are beautiful and only for walking, no cars in this area. We really enjoyed our time there.

Fabulous, the little shops are all affordable and well kept by the locals. There is a free parking offered by the council and free Internet. The beaches are breath taken

Fantastic bit of beach, lovely place to dip your toes in the water. Tide seems to come up on you quick and a few odd waves can catch you a little off guard! There are shops, restaurants and toilets nearby.

Amazing beach and free parking , loads of Restaurants and bars

Fantastic quiet beach but bare in mind I visited in late December (Christmas week). The entire week it was so peaceful, quiet and not many people around at all. An introverts dream 🥰🙌🏼 There was no sunbeds, umbrellas, rubbish or screaming humans - just peace 👌🏼✨ the beach was just fantastic and the views were amazing. Beautiful waves all around, ideal to just sit and read a book 📖 lovely sunsets at night too. Really picturesque. Christmas Day was the only time I seen the beach busy even at that it wasn’t overcrowded just Portuguese people with all their kids. Overall, highly recommend if you want somewhere peaceful to go.

This is a beautiful beach. It was always full as many other people thought the same. Where we were there were bars, restaurants and shops just of the beach...when the tides out you can walk for miles along it from 1 end the the other. You can also climb up on top of the cliffs where there are little trails that take you along the beach, and the views are amazing.

We visited this beach in the week and there were only a few people here, not too busy so that was a nice surprise. We also went on a hike after and the paths are 5/5 couldn’t recommend more if you’re going to this area, definitely go on a few hikes! It’s so worth it! And then we went to the nearby town which was a bit more touristy so we had lunch and got an Uber back to our hotel. The waters were clean yet had a lot of moss floating around which was a strange texture yet natural though. Very clean, has cafe and toilets but you have to eat at the cafe to use the toilets as they provide you a code to get in, overall very nice though.

I do not understand why people insist on piling up on top of each other at the entrance to the beaches. If you move down towards the right there are lovely spots around the sea stacks and cliffs with public toilet facilities at the restaurant at that end of the beach. Beautiful spot

Beautiful beach with some fantastic bars and restaurants. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Nice and quiet away from the bustling neighbouring towns. Would highly recommend.

First beach we visited in algarve. Small boulevard'ish area but if you step onto the beach and see the vieuw that opens up left and right youll love it. Theres some nice low level exploration possible, not really actual climbing. But still so nice with all the little pools that are shaped in the rocks with lowtide. Good beach for tanning also, clean.

Situated right on the beach overlooking incredible Blue water and beautiful rock formations its hard to imagine a better setting to eat after a day on the beach. The food was excellent. Large portions not unreasonably priced and service was very good. We over ordered if anything expecting smaller portions. Seafood was fresh and cooked well. I had octopus and prawn skewer and my partner had seafood pasta. I'm a chef of 20 years experience and difficult to please knowing the tricks of the trade but this place impressed me. Only small let down was dessert which was a bit dry but tasty none the less. Would come again.

The beach is gorgeous. Beautiful rocks around, sea is delicious to swim and restaurant has many drinks and food available. I gave 3 stars because we wanted 2 seats, which cost 12 euros for half day, but the man (between 40-50) who we had to reach out to was extremely rude and annoyingly sarcastic. His behavior definitely entered my top 10 of worst experiences while being a tourist. You travel to find peace and comfort but you have your day ruined because of someone who wasn't decently educated or just didn't like you and decided to treat you as if you were meaningless. So be aware of that if you come to this beach: the man responsible for the seats might ruin your experience with his lack of patience and respect.

This was our favourite beach in all of Portugal! Not too overrun with beautiful water, grea hiking. The restaurant was very good as well too. Sangria and fresh fish were delicious!

The beach is gorgeous. But at midday, it has no natural shades. Totally recommend taking your own food and beverage to avoid overpaying at the restaurant there

One of the most beautiful beaches you’ll ever see. The beach itself is lovely. It’s fairly enclosed and so you get a very private feel. The water is also very clear. It’s better to go earlier in the day to get a good spot. The views of the coastline are also amazing!

Lovely lovely staff and AMAZING food! Highly recommend! We went for my birthday and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my meal. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. Loved it. The location is right on the beach.

They have several delicious seafood. We ate 2 times in this restaurant for lunch due our vocay in Albufeira since Praia Sao Rafael is our favourite place to sunbathing and playing waves. Kebab seafood is the best food. Lemonade and pineapple mint are best alcoholfree beverages. Sangria passionfruit also will be The best Choice.

would give less than 1 star if possible. the WORST service, rude and unprofessional staff and so was the manager. we waited over half an hour for our order which was missing the undercooked wings and the only reason we even got our food is because we asked 3 different times. the last waitress we asked literally laughed in our face when my mum said this is unbelievable. people who came after us got served immediately, got attended to, was given sauces and utensils to eat which we had to ask for. when someone came and asked if everything’s okay my mum said no and as she was explaining it he walked away as if she was talking to herself. as you can see in the picture, the wings aren’t cooked properly. they were extremely slimey and still had liquid dripping out of them. although it was inedible the manager still made us pay since “if we wanted them cooked more that was our problem and not theirs”. as the manager was talking to my mum the staff all circled around to listen and were laughing and pointing like it’s a school playground. when my mum said they’ll receive a bad review the manager once again said that that’s our problem and he’ll be the one responding to it so when you see this don’t even bother giving the regular “i’m sorry for your experience and we’ll do our best to fix it next time” because that’s not how this place operates in real life and not once did we receive an apology for this incident. it is also extremely overpriced… 5 euros for a water, 26 euros for a kebab and so on. you need to do better and i so wish we got their names and some more pictures.

Great location right on the beach with beautiful view from terrace. Great menu and lovely friendly service. Very popular and busy but staff still really helpful. So nice we visited twice and great both times

A nice restaurant to have dinner after watching a great sunset at the Galé. We ordered the Campestre pizza and the lasagne. The Lasagne didn't seem very fresh but tasted alright. The pizza was good, although wasn't great. The service was just average, but the place was very clean and neat.

Perfect place to enjoy tasty pizzas. Maybe during season it might get too busy, but off season this is great place. Beautiful and modern interior and good food. We were very warm welcomed with a small kid too. Will come back.

We had a quiet dinner together for my husband’s birthday. The host spoke Portugués and English, so we were easily able to communicate. Our food was delicious and we didn’t wait long. Great atmosphere, highly recommend.

Easy and relaxed restaurant. Food and drink excellent and reasonably. Service very helpful and served with fun and humour. Startes great. Pizzas were excellent. Thin crust. We had pizza with spicy salami, and pizza with spaghetti bolognese. It was a stunning surprise. I had chocolate pizza for desert - OMG was fantastic. 100% recommend this restaurant.

The place looks nice, but there are many things with room for improvement. The pizza missed flavours - it was completely missing spices. When asking for pepper, the waiter arrived with a bit peppermill and started peppering. The mill was empty and after rotating the mill for almost a minute with noticing that nothing came out, he TOUCHED AND SWISHED MY PLATE (ABSOLUTE NO GO!) to check if there was enough pepper... And please, if someone orders a coke, but you have pepsi instead of it, let the customer know! I'm not paying the bill with monopoly cash either...

Amazing pizzas! I would highly recommend this place. However, a piece of plastic from Presunto ham was found on the slice. :(

I emailed 4 weeks ahead for a table for 9 people We walked 30 mins with 3 small children to be greeted with "we have no reservation for you" I showed my returned email confirming my booking - "we have no table for 9 people" I persisted with wanting a table as I had booked weeks before - the arrogant young man said "what do you want me to do!" he then produced a piece of paper from somewhere with my booking details on it! - "you can sit outside" it was cold windy and we had 3 children - we were not sitting outside! So don't email as your booking goes on a scrap of paper to be forgotten about Didn't seem to have anyone in charge only young arrogant incompetent staff who didn't care if you ate there or not

Crispy good pizzas were served, which I really appreciate. The restaurant is near the beach and is not so expensive.

We ate here twice over the course of a week. On the first occassion I had the beef carpaccio and a pizza, both were delicious. On the second occassion I ordered the bruschetta which looked and tasted quite poor. I also had the bolognese, the sauce was salty and tasted like a ready meal. The pizza's are very good, avoid the rest.

Visited with the whole family (9 people). Food was good. The restaurant was clean. The service was very slow considering the amount of staff. We waited ages for menus, then drinks, then starters, and mains.

Just got back to hotel after eating at this restaurant, which looks lovely from the outside. Won't be going back. Service was terrible. Waited 10 minutes for menus & to order drinks. Drinks took a further 10 minutes to arrive. We eventually ordered our food. Our main course came before our starter & the waiter was shocked when we asked for our starter. One waiter was very apologetic & helpful but the damage was done by that time. Did not enjoy the meal at all. Couldn't wait to leave.

A great beach if a little busy. There are cafes and snack bars nearby if you need something to eat or drink. There are a large number of sun loungers for hire as well as water sports equipment.

A 2 minute walk from our hotel. Sunbeds are comfy,but get here early to secure one! Bars and restaurants are handy for food and drink. A nice gentle slope into the sea with no rocks to navigate. Had a fantastic day here and the afternoon sun is beautiful.

Very long and beautiful beach. We came here in early March with the beach a lot less populated then during the summer. The water is cooler, but not unbearable. The rhythm of the waves is absolutely soothing in the early morning when the only other things to hear are occasional footsteps and the seagulls calling out from above. The cafes and restaurants have decent food and drinks. Go through them and along the boardwalk to access the beach. The rocks around the beach are beautiful as well, there are some trails, but do be careful on or around them in case loose stones give way and bonk your head or cause you to lose footing.

Clean beach plenty of things to do for children paddle boat hire body board hire ect is reasonably priced affordable for families with children as you can hire 4 person boats which leaves a few penny's extra for a meal on the sea front. The restaurant prices don't change much from other ones as you come down the main strip. You can stroll alone the cliffs to a smaller quiet beach.

Beautiful beach! It's small but there are enough beds and spots available, golden sand, there are quite big waves and the water is clear and refreshingly cold and right at the beach are restaurants and shops. For me this was the best and most beautiful beach in albufeira! Perfect spot for a day at the beach and would recommend visiting atleast once. For people seeking more adventure you can alsl walk a path on the cliffs so basicly it has it all here.

Lovely soft sandy beach with good size breakers.nice little coves and rock placements. Nice warm sea very good for paddle boarding and surfing

At the early morning, it’s almost empty making it a nice place to exercise or just relaxing. After 10am it’s more crowded, but still a good beach to go. They have a lot of services at the beach and the restaurants around it are also very good.

Beach was very nice with caves and sometimes the waves are very strong. The jet ski ride was very safe as the people been dropped off on a boat with lifeguards to the jet sky in the sea and stays in the boat until they come back from the jet ski. Also pictures available for 20 euro taken by the lifeguards on the boat. Parachute was not that fun as it's like flying a kite in the sea, doesn't go much high and controlled by a rope by the lifeguards in the boat. But it's safe

This beach is a very busy beach, if you don’t go on time you will not be able to rent a sun loungers and umbrella. It was roasting when we went(1st week of August) and having take only beach mat wasn’t enough, wish we had an umbrella with us

We adored this beach. Not too busy and you don't get hassled too much. The life guards on duty were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice beach but very small and filled with tourists so I'd recommend other, bigger beaches. Inner city, Praia do Peneco is a much better alternative.

I really liked this beach . It’s a bit hilly to get down to it from the streets. You could pay for a tut tut to take you down or up for €10 each way. A few places to eat and an ice cream . There are sun beds and parasols to hire. Lovely Sandy beach. You can walk into the sea but then a sudden drop so be-careful with children . The waves are very strong and can take you off your feet. My husband was just in the sea and lost his glasses due to freak wave being bigger than he expected. Never got them back. It’s a very picturesque spot but be careful.

Nice beach in the old town. It wasn't crowded in November. Water was kinda cold in those days but it was possible to swim anyway. There are fishers sometimes on the beach as the name says!

Lovely beach. They tend to do sea fest during school holiday times. Sandy, clean, toilets nearby. Close to restaurants and bars. Has a good night life nearby too!

I spent my holiday period over Albufeira and this was my go to beach over there. In general, I liked it, it just lacks garbage bins, and the sand is also quite dirty with a lot of cigarette butts. There's also for some reason an open sewage / gutter between Praia do Peneco and Praia dos Pescadores, which leaves an awful smell at times....

Well prepared beach, with umbrellas and chairs for renting, futvoley area and lots of restaurants around. We visited yesterday and as happening the Albufeira Set Fest 2023, they had shows and things for kids to do for free. We had a great time. Highly recommended 😊

Nice beach, plenty of space, not too busy when I visited however the weather was not the best at the time so that's expected. Great view of the ocean, plenty of food places nearby that have a great view of the beach itself too. I would definitely recommend visiting if in the area, I'd say a 9/10 beach

Scorchio! What a beach, beautiful. Now you can pitch up with your own towels & lie here. Nearer the sea, which is good because further you get from the sea the hotter sand gets. Or rent some covered sun loungers. 21 euros for two. A local bar had staff who will come over & take drink orders. But guy forgot ours so I went to get from bar, he couldn't have been more apologetic. But end of day, they're selling cans. Just take some in a cool bag :) Defo be going back. There's a water assault course on sea but no idea who kids are to pay to play on it.

We visited for the municipality day celebrations and it was AWESOME! Gloria Gaynor headlined this year, at the age of 79 and she got the crowd moving. Rather incredible ! Great atmosphere , good security and crowd controls, space for kids to sit, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Probably the best beach I’ve ever been on - it’s big, with that ‘nice sand’, and is never crowded. Great for a day with the kids or for a peaceful stroll along the waters edge.

One of our favourite beaches in Albufeira. It was a nice long beach so never felt busy at all, close to the restaurants and shops, and perfectly warm water. Some days the waves were stronger, but still very enjoyable. A must do if visiting old town as well.

Beautiful and vibrant beach with loads of social activities going on. The architecture surrounding the beach is stunning. The sand is smooth on the feet and the sea is gorgeous.

The Strip in Albufeira is full of music, life, fun, shops, bars, karaoke and restaurants! The atmosphere is there for those who love to live a fun life - if noise isn't for you, don't go!! I am nearly 60 and had a total blast the other night with my daughter and my sons girlfriend. Hard to know which bar/restaurant to stop at!

One of the busiest places outside of old town albufeira during the summer. Mostly a Soulless place made up of large average American themed bars and nightclubs blasting out music with lots of English dudes in their best semi ironed football shirts on looking for miss right now on a warm Saturday night. There are a few of restaurants serving different kinds of food, and kebab and burgers stalls for the football shirt crowd once they stumble out of the cheap watering hole looking to impress girls with how much food they can fit in their mouths. Very quiet out of season. Some hotels further up the street. And an amusement arcade.

Amazing clubs and places for parties. Most clubs are open until 5 am which is an ideal time and a couple of others are open until 7 am, there were many tourists and owners and managers of clubs were making friends and I dance for free drinks which was the first time we experienced such thing. Amazing overall and definitely recommend

December Christmas week not busy at all which was a dream 😍👌🏼 Christmas Day plenty of restaurants open so don’t be worried that you won’t get food because plenty around. In the summer this place is crazy mayhem all the time with sports bars, clubs, pubs and restaurants kicking. But off season I found it to be nice 👌🏼 not many people around and lots of places do close for December season but I wouldn’t be put off by this. Plenty to see and do and plenty of beautiful restaurants around too.

Vivaaaa Las Vegas! This is the feeling in the strip. Party everywhere, fun and laugh, music, food and (few) small shopping stores. There is no place like The Strip in Portugal. Highly recommended! Due to the pandemic situation everithing is closing at 10:30 this is why you should go around 17:30-18:00 if you wanna have fun.

The strip in Albuferia is the best ! I went for my birthday and had an amazing time ! Would stay away from “ Matts Bar” few scary guys who were very persistent in taking me and friends to there condo simply because they wanted to London girls so that was Suspicious but besides that odd encounter had an amazing time ! Definitely coming back !

Can’t rate the strip high enough, I’d give it 10 stars, me and my partner were in Olhos de Agua and when we fancied scenery a bit more lively we got an Uber to the strip which cost €4!! The strip itself is just something else it’s full of bars and restaurants with their own style please see pictures below! Also in the strip you can get the scooters that you see everyone on they are awesome and affordable, highly recommend visiting the strip!

Lots of tacky restaurants and bars. It's fine if that's what you're looking for, but not to everyone's taste. The best part is right down at the beach where there are several good restaurants and a wonderful beach.

Great place to let your hair down and have a good time. Plenty of free shots when buying drinks. Alcohol prices very reasonable. Good place for young adults to party but also kid friendly too and pretty good for families. We went in October when it was pretty quiet so maybe different in peak times.

Very lively, colourfull and enticing. Plenty of places to eat, drink and people watch. Definitely worth a visit, but more so when the sun goes down. Can seem a bit repetitive after a while as so many restaurants and bars are the same, just with a different name, also the staff hanging around the streets trying to get you in can be a little bit frustrating. No my toddler doesn't want pizza or pasta at 10am, thank you! Prices vary too for little items so look around before spending in the first place you see.

Great place to visit. And very cheap beers, busy and fun. Go and enjoy the strip.

New town is a great place for a night out, it has some amazing bars/clubs, the drink is really cheap and everywhere stays open till 4am. It is definitely more for a younger age but everyone should experience it. If you rather a more relaxed night out, old town is brilliant for that.

Great shopping place. Its open late until 23:00 hours. There is a bit supermarket as well. Lots of free parking space and a very good food court. We will be spoilt for choice.

Quite a nice shopping centre, typical popular shopping chains though, not much you wouldn't see in every other mainstream shipping centre across the world. The layout can be a bit confusing, however there is a good number of stores, and the centre is kept in good condition and is clean/without litter. Nice for shopping trips, and there is an excellent cafeteria. - not to mention there is a nice park outside for those with children.

Best selection of shops in the Algarve. Spotlessly clean toilets. The food court has a wide variety of offerings and is very well maintained. The UK shopping centres could learn a lot from here.

Great place to spend the day and plenty of different food to choice from. Lovely shops which range from known brands to little boutiques. A large supermarket that sells just about everything.

12/20/23. New Yorker visiting Portugal for the first time! Algrave Mall was a fantastic place to find shops that are not in the States and to visit the H&M's and the Zara's that are! I enjoyed supermarket bought fried pork and baked chicken! The food court had many selections, my favorite?. Enjoy!

Has a very large supermarket as well as many independent shops and multiple brands. Great place to shop and pick up ideas and although not fully undercover easy to get around even if it is raining.

This shopping centre is quirky, a combination of inside and outside, with a village feel to it in places. Lots of beautiful plants and decor in-keeping with the beautiful Algarve. As an added bonus it is served by all of the shops you would expect to find in an inner city shopping centre and more! The food court caters for every possible taste so we all chose different cuisines and sat together in the centre. This place is perfect for holiday retail therapy.

The mall is not really big but nice to visit , I loved the open terasses, the elevator is unique, it is like a museum, cabinet with vintage tools and ceramics.

**May 2023. I visited here with extended family several times in May. Lovely place, lots of stores, places to eat, and a supermarket. There is a good foodcourt with plenty of options such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, and numerous healthy options. There is always at least one member of staff in each place who can speak English. Excellent toilet facilities. Plenty of car parking spaces. Nice place to spend a few hours especially on a rainy day.

A great shopping experience. lots of clothes shops perfume and makeup shops jewellery shops. The food court has plenty of choices to suit all tastes. The only down point was as I came out of the toilets a young woman vacated the toilets after using them, without washing her hands. As I was behind her I saw her leave and enter the cake kiosk located just out side and then she proceeded to serve customers cake without gloves! Needless to say I didn’t get a cake from there!!!!!! They have plenty of seating and you can charge your phones etc with the usb charging ports available. We spent a good 4 hours at the shopping mall and had a nice experience. it cost under €15 to get a cab to and from we were 8 km from the mall so very reasonable.

This is a very good shopping center with many different types of stores, including my favorite anime and toy shops. There are also many restaurants and a cinema, and the parking is free, making it perfect for spending a day with family, friends, or alone.

Worth a walk from old town. Juxtaposition between the boats and the very colourful buildings. Great fun watching the fish and sparrows. Managed to find vegan nachos and had two pints for a total of €3.80!!!

Bright and vibrant place to visit. Waterfront bars and restaurants. Shops and toilets nearby for quick stops. On the reverse side of the marina buildings there are more to choose from if you want to have a quiet bite to eat. There are frequent buses to the area. Beautiful seafront views of the harbour.

I was very surprised about the beautiful colored houses. Besides the stunning view on the harbour there are a lot of cafes and restaurants. Every cafe has a huge card with a lot of choice so you can chose exactly what you love before sitting somewhere. There are also some souvenir shops. I can really recommend the restaurant Contramestre. They have a big choice, very friendly staff and it was really delicious. Also possible to take something with you on the way which I did.

Great Marina.. very clean, lots of shops… restaurants, convenient store, arcade, go carts and bumper cars, dive/spear fishing shop/tours, sailing/boat excursion tour companies and a diy laundry area. We sailed in and stayed at the marina which allowed access to the showers as well.

Great place to eat and drink. But I was there for the boat ride. And with many to choose from I got lucky with dreamer. Spent a relaxing 30 mins watching the schools of fish in the harbour while drinking a beer

We went on a sunset beach BBQ on a private cove it was fantastic there is so much to do here if you like watersports. We had an absolute blast from start to finish and we're treated like royalty. Beautiful place to stop off and have some food or a drink and the taxi rank is right on hand.

really colourful place that's great to go with kids, there was mini little motorbikes for them to ride on and a lovely stroll down the marina to see all the boats. there were many shops and restaurants available, some were a bit pricey but others were mainly fairly priced. some just did drinks whilst others did full meals and sit down dinners. would recommend!

Love this place, and visited it frequently. This is clearly an up-and-coming area with multiple buildings being built nearby. There's a modern look and feel, and multiple bars and businesses to visit/try. There's even small amusement places that'll keep people entertained. I'd certainly recommend visiting Fat Cats as the food and drink are both great, and reasonably priced. With it only being June however, many places seem to wind-down or close around 10pm. That will obviously change as the season becomes in full flow. Some places don't yet offer live entertainment yet either, despite advertising they do. This is also the perfect place to come if you want to do a few water-based experiences (such as dolphin watching, scuba, jet-ski etc.)

Simply stunning. Lots of amazing boats, restaurants, gift shops, and places to book fun activities. We tried parasailing, jetsking, and a dolphin tour all reasonably priced but shop about as plenty of tour operators.

Great boat ride to the caves ....... Needs some guidance we waited in a queue for ages only to be advised it was the wrong queue for boarding ..... Not very helpful staff I have to say.... your kind of left to wonder about looking for your particular company we went with the explorer cost 45 euros each Eventually we booked a boat for 18 pple Great crowd the captain and his crew were brilliant and being on the open sea was great. Pity we could've for off the boat and into the cave but managed to get in to see the caves a bit better than the bigger boats. No dolphins seen but worth the trip

The buildings are so bright and colourful. There are lots of places to eat and drink. There is every type of boat trip setting off from here. There are segways and electric quads,bikes and go karts to hire and an indoor karting experience. There is a spar shop and a launderette and plenty of toilets.

Very quiet in this are, very nice marina with lots to do, plenty of restaurants all around we opted for sushi 🍱 which was so good. Lots of companies selling boat rides - my advice is do some research before getting any random boat ride the one we went on wasn’t that good. Spent about 2 hours in this area which was enough. This area is very uphill with lots of steps, we got a taxi from the old town to the marina for €3.50 each way. If you get those black taxis they’ll be more expensive my advice download Bolt it’s a much cheaper service 🙌🏼 we did look around the supermarkets in this area and they are way more expensive whereas old town and other places are less expensive. Clearly there prices are more higher bet there is no other supermarkets around which is understandable.

Stroll down to the marina and you are hit by the wonderful colourful buildings and an amazing choice of food and drink. A wonderful place to relax and watch the world go by.

Xmas time is extremely quiet & peaceful. It's very pleasant without the summer rush / hoards. The only downside is nearly half the outlets, shops & traders have 'shut shop' until April next year. We prefer the calm.

If you are based in Albufeira and have time to kill, the Marina offers a selection of bars and restaurants with a view of the Marina and also some entertainment options for kids (entertainment arcades and rental of small pedal trikes/go karts). The buildings are painted in pretty colours but other than that it's not an attractive Marina. Many boat tours depart from here.

I absolutely love this lively place. We have been here twice. The music and atmosphere is perfect. Lots of restaurants, each different cuisine, bars, cafe's, gift shops, spar grocery shop and arcades, suitable for all ages. I would definitely recommend coming here to see it all for yourself. If you like boat trips, then this is the place to come. So many to choose from. We picked the caves and dolphin speed boat and The Pitate Ship. Memories made for life ✨️ family of 5 with 3 teens.

Stunning beach with beautiful coves and soft sand- you can walk for miles and miles and can cut off when tide is in as there is a lovely walkway to continue the walk . Very well set up and only seen this in Jersey from all my travels - beach walkers dream

Gorgeous vast beach ! Really nice bar/restaurant on the beach. If visiting in the summer a table must be booked as it gets so busy it's impossible to get a place. Seafood fantastic and their coconut pudding it's a treat.

Lovely beach but the directions on Google Maps take you to Grande beach and not Salgados. Definitely worth a visit though.

Wonderful beach - unspoilt, quiet and bursting with wildlife. We went twice, one time during a storm which was humbling - the waves were incredible and once on a hot sunny day where the breakers were invigorating, the sand was red hot and it seemed like we were the only people there.

Nice sandy beach. Wide and long bay, perfect to relax without a lot of people around you, and for long walks by the shore. On the left there's Galé beach and Armação beach to the right side. The access to the beach and car Parking it's in Salgados Resort.

Even though it was raining the first time we went there, me and my boyfriend decided to go back for a second time and we had a really good day walking around and got our wish to see the white flamingos in their natural environment. Worth the visit and is also not far from the beach.

Eye-catching brown sandy beach with plenty of space for sunbathing. Bars, shopping malls, restaurants, and Ice cream shops are within walking distance. Mineral water showers, changing rooms, and public toilets are available. Parking will be tricky; therefore, I recommend parking in your hotel and walking downhill to the beach. The promenades are impressive, offering a lovely view of the open Atlantic. The rock formations are places to take profile photos. Also, there's a small cave nearby to explore. The water is cold in June, but you can still go in for a swim! Bring your beach tennis gear to play on the beach. It is a fun activity.

Lovely clean beach. A bit stony, with shells in places but beautiful coloured water and not busy at all. The cafe/restaurant on the beach is a great place to stop for food and drink but it's not a 'budget' option.

One of the best beaches of the region in my opinion. There aren't a lot of rocks so the swim is quite enjoyable, and there are lots of waves, there's really no need to go swim very deep into the sea. It's not a big beach so it can get crowded easily but we didn't have too much trouble finding a spot. It's also really nice in the evening, when it's almost empty, to walk along the seashore and to take pictures.

Nice beach with clear water and some rocks around and inside the water. On the sand there are loads of shells. On this beach there’s a bar and a restaurant, quite expensive by the way. With you want to avoid a crowded place you’d better go early. A Uber from the city centre (old town) costs about 7€ and it takes no more than 15m.

My 13 daughter done the middle course(€15) but finished quite quickly so they kindly let me pay the extra €4 to do the fearless one(€19) which she absolutely loved... Very helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable price and very much in the trees... Great setting. Easy to walk on ground and follow her around also...

Myself and 7 friends (28-36) played the paintballing course. Extremely enjoyable and a great challenge. Very good value and we were able to hire a photographer on site to take photos and videos inside the arena. Definitely worth it ! My regards to Fred and Lionel for the top class customer service!

Spent a couple of hours here with my 8 year old daughter today. She had lots of fun. Didn't get the name of the monitor but he was fab! Stuck with us throughout ready to help my daughter when needed. We'll definitely be back.

Great laugh. Different levels of difficulty with the there being a big jump from easy to medium. If your unsure in your feet or scared of heights this might not be for you. 19 euros for a adult allows you to spend up to three hours at your leisure. Great to kill a few hours in the afternoon

We had the most AMAZING time today doing the high ropes and zip lines at Parque Adventura Albufeira. We went as a family with 2 teens and a 10 yr old in tow. We completed all the rope courses and we are not by any means very healthy, so this was hilarious for me and the husband 😂. The staff were all really friendly, explained everything really well and the set up is very good value for money compared to places in the UK such as GoApe, which charge nearly 3 times the price of this place. We were all really impressed and would definitely do this again when visiting Albufeira!! 💕

Challenging tree top course on the red and blue 3 courses for the younger which are great and well. Staff are very helpful and guide you when you need it. Great value when compared to go ape in the UK.

An excellent way to spend an afternoon in the sun. I wanted to do this at home (GB) but never had the opportunity. Did all 4 adult courses/levels, getting familiar with the equipment as we went along. I'm afraid of heights but somehow you don't notice when you're concentrating on your next steps. Would definitely do this again. If you're considering... just do it! Suitable for both sexes BTW.

Visited the park in Albufeira yesterday. 4 adults and 3 kids (11, 7 and 6 years old). Had an amazing experience! The system is very safe, you can't forget and fall just because you cannot unlock yourself from the zipline. Our 6 years old who's usually not very daring managed to finish orange, yellow and even violet course and was very proud of himself! The price is affordable, big area, picnic tables, easy to walk around. Definitely will be coming regularly!!

The children loved this activity really cheap and fun, instructors on hand to help full safety briefing given awesome little set up.

Great beach only a 7 min bus ride from real belavista hotel. Intimate area not crowded. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful sand and the calm ocean waves were mesmerising. Resteraunts serving lunch and drinks on top of the cliffs.

The water was wet and the sand was very sandy

Small but extremely nice and family-friendly beach, there is only one restaurant on site and some resorts have exclusive access. Do not stay close to the cliffs, there is a danger of falling.

One of the best spots in Albufeira for the perfect family holidays.

We did a 9 mm trek over to the beach from Vila Petra resort at the northern end of The Strip. It is too cool for beach activities but ideal for walking the beaches and cliff trails back to The Strip. Lots of folks had the same idea so there was a few times when we could just enjoy the scenery and wild flowers while we waited for them to pass on the narrow trail.

One of our favourite beaches in albufeira. Water sports available. Restaurants & bar on the beach. Plenty of parking at the beach but gets busy over summer months, extra over flow parking free outside summer months. Did see they were charging in summer holidays so went elsewhere.

Pretty awesome beach. Good for swimming, though I'd warn you to keep an eye out for rocks and there are some underwater and it is a pain when you hit them. There quite a lot of seaweeds the day I was there but can't say if it's a constant thing or not. You could still swim further deep into the beach to get a seaweed-free swimming though, so not that much of a problem. There's a bar/restaurant in the beach where you can get drinks and bring down to the beach - don't know if you can bring down food though but I doubt you could. To the right there some nice rock formations worth exploring and to the left there's a nice walk uphill where you can get a nice view from the whole beach. It seems this beach gets busy really early; I arrived there just before 11am on a Friday and there was hardly any parking left and not a lot of parasols left either, so go early or take a cab and bring your own beach gear. This beach also got some nice waves which you can have fun trying to catch them without a board.

Formerly owned by Cliff Richards, now in the hands of Joaquim Pires, who has ambitions for the place. Expect to see changes over the coming years. A small winery, so not a lot of walking (important on a hot day!). A very informative guide who gave lots of basic wine tips, perfect for people who may not be too au fait with wine. Tasting of 4 wines included in the tour price (€20) in a cellar room. Only real downside was the wines themselves which are fine. (Disclosure, I am WSET L3)

Lovely wines from the wine farm partly owned by Cliff Richard and with new owners of a share in the farm. Expect the winetasting facility to be upgraded.

Paid 10 euro each person for the wine tastings. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the experience as this space is lack of soul and the quality of wines can be improved. We did another one when we were in Faro which much better. Not recommended :(

Really informative. Reasonable prices for bottles of wine to take away. No tours around the vineyard at the moment. Once we had our tasting session, we were able to sit with a bottle of wine overlooking the vineyard out to sea, which was just lovely.

I notice most of the reviews are by local guides. I’m a visitor to the area and I did not find the wine tasting experience very enjoyable. We visited this vineyard several years ago and really enjoyed it so I took my friend from England there in October. The tasting took place in a small room with seating for 4 people. We stood around and were offered several wines. Our guide rushed us through the wines and she didn’t have much personality. Since Cliff Richard no longer owned it it has gone down hill so don’t waste your money or time.

Please be aware that you have to make an appointment upfront! We didn't know, walked all the way and lucky for us there was another couple with the same 'issue', so as a small group we could enter without any arrangement. Lovely wines, friendly lady telling a lot about SirCliff and his friends and of course about the wines. Unfortunately as we were accompanied by our little one (6y) we were not allowed the visit/see the factory part, but the tasting was already a nice time consuming activity 😉

We happened upon this winery on a walk out of Albufeira. Went in to do a tasting but were told we had to reserve in advance (there was no one else there). Person behind the counter had no personality. Bought one bottle since we were there. Wine wasn't great. Between that and the reception we received we won't go back.

Lovely wine tasting experience. Easy to get to without a car. Take the Giro bus local bus from Albufeira to Algarve Shopping mall, and walk 10 mins

What an amazing place to visit. If you are a wine lover you must see this place. I Got lucky as I got to meet one of the owners of the land, not knowing who he is. He was so kind giving me some interesting information.
