La Concha is my one of my favorite beaches in the world. Id even go as far as saying its 10 times better then any beach in my hometown state of California. Clean white sand, plenty of space, and clear warm water. Perfect place for a couple days of relaxation and contemplation. Facilities include: *showers and footwash stations *benches and rentable chairs/umbrellas *bars and restaurants *life guards *bathrooms Anything not listen is within a block away. There were no pushy hustlers or obnoxious guests our entire stay at the beach. We absolutely look forward to returning.

Gorgeous beach in Donostia!! The tide makes a big difference in how much of the beach is exposed. There is almost none available at low tide! There are a bunch of staircases down to the beach, lots of benches and a nice (well-lit) side walk to walk alone the cove from the street level. The beach offers great views of the hills, the water, the sailboats and the row of buildings behind. Don't forget to spend some time just taking it all in!

As a beautiful beach. . La Concha beach... Concha is in spanish language, means is seashell as similarity of the shape. As famous beach, many people enjoy the beach, you can just seat on park bench with the beach view or taking a stroll or do sport. Alongside the fine golden sand with its lenght more than 1.300 metres makes perfect beach for barefoot walk. It is also well-equipped and offers all sorts of services such as toilet, locker & changing room, and lifeguards if summer.

Probably one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. We were there in October, the weather was perfect - chilly enough to wear a windbreaker, and warm enough at times to have a t-shirt on. The beach is shaped like a crescent moon, and it literally feels like you're walking on a postcard. The waves were super tiny, given the position of the coastline, so walking right up to the water line with your shoes isn't a problem. If you visit this city, then you'll surely go to this beach - it's a hot spot for tourists.

Super nice view, that’s all as this s mostly a lil park for kids to run around. The funicular isn’t worth the >1 hour wait but I insisted as I thought I d be able to enjoy the ride, I was wrong. Overall attractions aren’t attractive, and the only hotel restaurant to avoid. There is though a lil bar on the side selling refreshments at half of the prices and queue, if needed rather go there. I mean, it’s a must go but you may be disappointed

May 2023 A nice walk to the top with an amazing view of the city, especially on a clear day. We started our walk from the city centre and then went down on the other side. We were completely lost. We ended up in the port area, and it wasn't too easy to find out way back. You know the streets are crazy and nothing east/west, north/south. Always on a diagonal or curving. A taxi ride back to our starting point saved us. Always an adventure!

Outstanding aquarium! My grandchildren really enjoyed it. Lots to see and experience. There is a large area with exhibits to learn things about sea life, then lots of living exhibits. There are also some interactive exhibits for the kids. The walk through glass aquarium is excellent. I also felt that the price was very reasonable.

the aquarium is rather small, you’d see more as like a museum to be honest as there s basically only one big pool to see fishes for 14€ per adult. On this very rainy, cold day, we decided to visit the aquarium here in San Sebastián. It’s quaint, easily done in 1-1.5 hrs. The first half is maritime history, followed by the actual aquarium portion. Nice activity out of the rain, although a bit cramped when everyone has the same idea. Tickets are a bit steep at €14 without options for family of 5, etc.

A really fun aquarium to visit for both locals and tourists. There is a very range of sealife including sharks, colourful fish, seahorses and even strange looking fish. The aquarium is well designed so that visitors see a lot throughout the experience. The aquarium also offers a sneak peak into the naval history of the area with cool 3rd figures of ships and accompanying historical narratives with interesting facts. A very entertaining visit and it's also English friendly.

Such a WELL DONE aquarium! The lady at the ticket counter was friendly and they have free cubbies for shopping bags and backpacks. They have models of ships, bones, shells, and so many cool animals!! The whole thing is laid out well and has lots of opportunities for being up close with the fish and sea creatures. I especially liked the auditorium where people can sit and watch the huge tank of fish (see if you can find the two eels) and the tunnel under the shark tank. I saw a bunch of new animals and had a blast! It was a great rainy day activity and I'm so glad I didn't miss it!

Wow... this Aquarium educates viewers on the importance and impact the ocean has on this northern part of Spain. The ocean provides the livelihood for many residents in Spain for centuries. It still does today, as well as the showing the many activities in the ocean even today. Breathtaking aquarium and sea life in sparkling tanks... fascinating to see the divers feed the fish... one of the best aquariums we have ever been to! We could spend days here and still not take it all in! The model ships are a true gem!

Zurriola Beach is one of the three beaches in the city of San Sebastian. It is located between the mouth of the Urumea river and Mount Ulía, and is approximately 800 metres long. I visited it in winter and there were several people surfing! (WOW!). Beautiful and very clean beach! There are toilets and it is easily accessible.

Fantastic museum. I recommend downloading the app before going for access to an audio tour. I enjoyed the history of San Sebastián as well as seeing all the regional art, both historical and contemporary. I got lucky to show up on a free day, which was nice. I wanted to get something at the gift shop to show my support but it wasn’t as good as the rest of the museum, which was incredible. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area.

Interesting basque museum. The ground floor showed an exhibit about the brain and the science of the brain. The basque portion starts on the second floor and is very good as it goes through time showing how the basques lived in the region. Definitely worth it for the second floor. We came in March and it cost 10 euros each

It moved to its current location in 1932, Zuloaga plaza in the old town, at the foot of the hill Urgull. It occupies a former Dominican monastery complemented by a 21st century extension. San Telmo Museum has culminated a process of renewal and extension required to reach out to the public in this new 21st century. Good and informative museum, which provides a lot of context to being in the Basque Country. The different levels of the museum all tell a different story of Basque history and heritage, with a lot of audiovisual support. There's also a segment on Basque art, which I thought was really cool. Right now, there's three temporary exhibitions in addition to the permanent collection. On a more practical note, it's nice that the museum provides lockers so you can walk around freely. All in all, recommended when you're in Donostia on a rainy day.

The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in San Sebastián - a Roman Catholic neo-Gothic church in San Sebastián built at the end of the 19th century, since 1953 serving as the cathedral of the diocese of San Sebastián. During its history, the church has undergone two major reconstructions. The first one was connected with the assumption of the function of a cathedral by the temple and lasted 4 years. Beautiful, nicely nestled into a pretty part of San Sebastian, a few nice cafés around the perimeter. Once inside though it has that classic and familiar grand sense. The decorative pieces and statues are also amongst the better we have seen. Kept in great condition. If in the area I would recommend a visit although one complaint would be the memorial candles, no longer a traditional candle but an electronic/LED which looks tacky and lacks what's needed for such sentiment.

An elegant English made old holiday house which dates back in the 1800's. Made for the Royals of that time. Nowadays a great spot to enjoy the view from the city and the breathtaking beaches. This Palace was the summer house for the Queen María Cristina de Hasburgo, where she and her family spent their summer holidays for over 40 years. The house was designed according to english style, Cotagge to be more specific. The San Bebastian City Hall is located at the north end of Alderdi Eder Gardens just south of the Old Town. This is an attractive landmark building that was constructed in 1887 as a casino that served as a popular entertainment venue for city politicians and the upper echelon of society until the ban on gambling in 1924. It seems the property fell into the hands of the City Council in 1947 and continues to serve as City Hall to this day. You can conveniently spend a few minutes enjoying the impressive architecture and exterior that quickly reminds one of the Monte Carlo Casino while spending time in the Gardens or before making way into Old Town.

The Basilica of Saint Mary of Coro is a baroque Roman Catholic parish church and minor basilica completed in 1774. It is located in the Old Town of the city of Donostia - San Sebastian. Definitely worth the trip here. The roller coaster ended up being way funner than expected, even though it lasted maybe two minutes. The log ride was also super fast but we got some great pictures. There's a bar above the boat area with amazing views of the ocean and cliffs as well. There was a long wait to board the tram to go back down the mountain, so be prepared!

What can anyone say about such a breathing view? Completely recommend for anyone to visit. One of the most beautiful spots of the city. Worthed for any time of the day. Recommended to use the funicular as otherwise it will take up to 50 mins to reach. The funicular is really cheap to use and fast. It rides every 15 minutes. There is an amusement park which is under construction. Really unexpected for such a location but why not? Totally recomended to have a drink to actually enjoy the view!

Stunning views, the bus 16 leaves you like 2 blocks away from the main entrance in case the funicular is super crowded and you don't want to wait for it. There is a bar at the very top which I recommend going as it has excellent vibes and drinks. There was a DJ on site, very nice music but at the same time too many kids and families didn't match with the atmosphere at the bar. It was OK anyways.

The María Cristina bridge. In 1893, a provisional wooden bridge was built to provide direct access from the city centre to the Estación del Norte train station, the bullring and the velodrome. The final bridge was opened on 20th January 1905 for San Sebastián Day. The bridge is known for its four impressive obelisks, one in either corner, measuring 18 metres in height and crowned by groups of sculptures.
