The dunes are perfect for activities like hiking, sandboarding or just relaxing in the shade. The environment is very quiet, which contributes to a pleasant stay. There are also a few beaches in the park, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Corralejo Nationalpark is a must for those who appreciate nature, beauty and tranquility.

Amazing dunes reminding of a proper desert. Apparently the sand was brought to Fuerta by winds from Africa - Sahara which is roughly 200km in a direct line. Well it is a must see place if you interested in sightseeing business. The only downside is lack of toilets facilities but being a national park it might be an explanation. You can visit anytime as it plenty of space around and it doesn’t looked busy the times we went there or drove pass it.

Huge beach, fantastic dunes, something beautiful. Similar to the dunes in the Polish Słowiński National Park, but much larger. And the water is much cleaner and nicer.

I have traveled to dozens of countries and I have never seen such beautiful place. there is a strong contrast between the dunes and the sea. A road in the middle that goes through the entire dune area，with lots of parking places and easy access to the beach. Big waves make it a surfing paradise. I love it!

Well, it's not the greatest sand dunes I have ever seen, nor are those the biggest. If you have a car and if you are in the area, yes stop there. Otherwise, you don't miss much. Sorry sand dunes, you are pretty but just not that spectacular.

Lovely beach with sandy shore and crystal clear lagoons. It is about 15 mins walking from the bus stop. There are toilets and showers near the life guard. We prepared drink and food for the day because restaurans and shops are not near. Naturists and bikini sunbathers next to each other with no problem.

Love El Cotillo, there are turquoise, clear lagoons protected from the big waves on one side of town. The big, wild beach at the other side of town is good fun for waves. The town itself has gorgeous little shops and restaurants. Being on the west coast of the island too means that it’s a great spot for sunsets.

Been a few times to this beach and it lovely and clean. Our 3 yr old grandson loved playing on the sand and in the water. It is a nudist beach as well 😎 we also went in the evening to watch sunset which I'd stunning highly recommend this. El Cotillo is a beautiful place to visit.

Amazing beach. White sands which makes also the water look turquoise, small lagunas with calm waters and then big waves further if you wish to have some fun. Not busy usually, restaurants few hundred metres away, car park close by. This place is great for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Had a good time at the water park with my 7 yo granddaughter. She absolutely loved it... Price to get in is pretty reasonable. Food and drinks are a bit expensive, but expected. Lots of sun loungers everywhere. However, there are limited places in the shade, so wear plenty sun lotion... A great day out overall

If you've been to Chimelong, Siam Park, Sunway Lagoon or Six Flags, you're in for a real treat. I wasn't prepared for the disappointment I was about to experience when I came here. It wasn't cheap and having a large family would make it an expensive day. The place just comes around as old and tired. The staff are very friendly and the food prices are extremely reasonable, it's just the expensive admission charge, for what you get. Luckily, the place wasn't busy so there were no queues. The wave machine was more of a ripple in a millpond and the Lazy River was so bone idle it went backwards at one point..... Been there, done it but unfortunately won't be returning.

Visited on Easter weekend and had an amazing time! The place was very busy but the queue for slides moved quickly. Great variety of slides and the lifeguards/staff were very friendly and attentive. We found the place very clean. We enjoyed the dark cave and rapid river. We paid the extra 5 euros each for the rings, just beware they might go walkies if you don’t keep an eye on them!

Great place for the family. We went October half term so only had to queue a couple of times for the popular rides. Daughter is 8 and not a confident swimmer (yet) but other children gave her confidence and managed to slide down the child water slide. This was a huge step. Staff are very friendly. Lots of life guards clean facilities. Weather was perfect. No idea what it would be like in peak season though. Only tip would be to hire your own ring from reception to save queuing for the rides where you need a ring.

Great value for money. A little limited on number of slides, but enjoyed what was there. Lazy river is extremely lazy. Wave pool was fun. Good value food and drinks. Overall an enjoyable day out, but real thrill seekers may be a little disappointed.

We had an amazing day at the park! The water was warmer than expected and the place was really quiet so there were no queues. It's a shame that there aren't more rings for use at each ride (without the need to hire them at an extra €5 each) as that wasn't obvious from the website, but we were extremely lucky and didn't have to wait for anything! The kids thought it was a fantastic way to spend a day!

My family had an amazing day here. The water isn't heated anywhere but was a nice temperature which makes it more enjoyable. They have smaller slides for little one's, unfortunately the adults can't go down but you can stand at the bottom to catch them. Has plenty of seating areas with shade. The cafe has a good amount of food and drinks to offer. All in all a really good experience and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Great wee waterpark, good lockers, can hire inflatable rings, if you don't want to wait in que, think it would get busy peak season, so worth the 5 euro deposit and 5 euro hire, deposit is refundable, same with lockers

Good little waterpark enough for the day, kids love it foods Good there too. So if your going book on line to avoid queuing then all you need to do is show the barcode off email. When you get in it's €5 deposit and a €5 charge for a locker then when you return the key you get your deposit back. Don't worry there no panic for trying to get a bed whilst your there, there are plenty of beds. Also if you wish to rent a rubber ring you will have to do this if you don't want the ones provided at the slides, we didn't rent and just used the ones provided which was fine. If you like a big dinner then get the lunch pass with your ticket if you have a family of 4 or more quite big portions so will work out cheaper to do this. It has a larger cafe and a small cafe snack bar in the middle of the park. Parking for cars is outside so no problem parking up no charges neither.

As a family of 4, we first thought the prices were quite high but we were there all day so you get your moneys worth. Lots of slides, some on your own and some with an inflatable ring (don’t rent the one at entrance - unless you don’t want to wait a couple mins for the free ones) it might be busier middle of summer, we were there start of July. The park ground gets very hot so wear wet shoes or be prepared to walk fast! Lockers available but you need to pay €10 which you get €5 back when you leave. Toilets and showers available by the lockers. There are 2 places to eat. The pool side bar in the small kids section has a small menu, the self service area by the wave pool in much more varied and the chicken burger I had was delicious. The wave pool was fun but water was a bit dirty with some litter debris. Slides - better to wear goggles, as some you go down and the water spray is so much you can’t see! Be prepared for a fast landing in the water usually with swimsuit giving you a wedgie! 🤣 If you want sun-beds with a parasol get there early enough. Park opens at 10 and closes at 6 but the attractions close 30 mins before. Good views when you walk up to the slides.

Quite expensive for entry but a nice day out with the kids. Good range of slides and pools. Wouldn't go on a windy day as it can get quite chilly walking round. On Site Cafe is reasonable priced although expect to queue for 20 minutes plus around lunchtime. Quite a queue to get in at opening times, so possibly book online in advance.

The water park had everything there you'd expect for all ages,apparently Sunday supposed to be the busiest day to go before I forget to mention. Cost for us booking with Tui was €87 that didn't include food,it did include the Sun loungers,parasol and inflatable rubber ring.Food was decent and they had a fast turnaround considering it was busy.

Visited on a Sunday in August, and we could walk straight on to the slides all day - the longest queue we experienced was ~5 mins to get on the Dark Cave with an inflatable ring. See the pics - there is no-one on that blue slide, and it's brilliant. Lifeguards were all friendly, and applied common sense. There was enough to keep a 7 and 11 year old entertained (and their Dad) until the slides closed at 17.30. Siam park it is not, but there is so much more fun to be had when there are no queues. Food was basic, but reasonable value. As others a have said, don't bother paying extra for your own inflatable. Do book tickets on the website to save 10%. Recommend a visit if you're nearby.

Stunning island with amazing scenery and a really nice walk. You do have book in advance to get the boat to the island as I believe there is a daily capacity on how many visitors the island can have. Be sure to take comfortable footwear and plenty of water and snacks. Make sure to use the bins located around the walking path for any trash :)

A must visit if staying in Fuerteventura. The island is a short hop on either a cheap (and fast) water taxi or a bigger less thrilling boat, available to book at vendors near the docks or in town centres. The island is small and features a lovely beach, a volcano you can walk up, some exquisite little bays with gorgeous views and lots of rocky trails to explore. Make sure to book enough time as it really flies by once you’re there, and although there is a cafe on the island, make sure to take snacks and drinks as walking through the rocky trails can get very warm. The beach has shallow water and is great for little snorkelers (and big ones) One word of warning, if you are planning to travel on the small water taxi speed boats, you do not get provided with a life jacket. Not really an issue for swimmers, but both my kids are young non swimmers so if the boat hit a big wave (it gets very choppy) and flipped, they would be in big trouble. The driver made sure to go slower on the way over due to our small children, but as we stuck armbands on them for the return trip, they opened the throttle and rode the waves. The kids loved the thrill ride and it made the perfect exciting end to our holiday. :)

This island is amazing! The landscape is very unique, full of miniature volcanic cones. There are several hiking paths on the island, and a few salt ponds where you can watch birds.

Took the 10:00am boat and came back on the 2:20pm one. 4 hours were well enough to walk the entire island and hike up the mountain, we even could chill on the beach a little. Turquoise water on one side and mars landscape on the other. If you are in Fuerteventura I would recommend doing it.

Wonderful island near Corralejo, Fuerteventura. Accessible by boat with a range of competitors providing options from little speed boats through to larger craft costing around €16 for a day return trip. You can walk around the whole island on a circular route in 2-2.5 hours which we found well worth it to sample the fascinating range of landscapes on the island. The volcano Montana La Caldera to the west of the island is well worth the climb although it can be busy with tourists. There is a nice beach (Playa de la Concha) 10-15 minutes from the port. We went there to relax after our long walk until our return boat. There are no real facilities on the island so make sure you bring food and drink. There is also limited opportunities for shade. Very nice place to visit though and highly recommended.

We took the speedboat over. If you're not into thrills please try one of the ferries. It cost about €50 for a family of 5 Do check tides before going especially if you wish to snorkel. We arrived at low tide so it was a bit of a wait. There's absolutely no shelter, so you need umbrellas, protective clothing and plenty of suncream. The umbrellas need to be secured so do keep this in mind. I froze drinking water the night before so it stayed cool for a while. Took a picnic lunch so can't comment on the eating facilities. We went to the lagoon side and stayed there We arranged a pickup time so you already know how long you'll be there. 3 -4 hours is enough unless you're hiking or exploring other parts of the island. This is not really a viable option with younger children. A lovely day out but very hot so be careful of sunburn etc.

You can spend 3 hours here…. But you don’tneed to go to Lobos island to see black stones and mountains. Fuerteventura give you that in many other places in the island. Good to know : the toilets are closed at 3:30 PM. Good luck if you need it! Enjoy the nature!

Amazing trip there with Ferry Isla de los Lobos. We bought the ticket that included the snorkel stop and mini cruise for €25 p/person. Great for a walk and a swim (one can walk to the top of the volcano in about 40 minutes). There is only one restaurant there which is very busy and closes at 3. Bring your own water and remember that there is no shade. Great photo opportunity in the bay just outside the restaurant and possibility of rock pooling in the bay nearby.

Gorgeous island, we visited for only a few hours but it will stay with me forever. I proposed to my partner next to the beautiful lagoon and then took a swim with shoals of fish around my feet 😍😍 Definitely worth a visit ❤️

We visited this impressive old building and it's surrounding buildings on 7rh February. It was shut for major remedial works, which did not look likely to be finished any time soon. Still worth a quick look if in the area, would not make a dedicated journey to visit until works completed.

This is located near the town of Oliva. Besides the art and cultural exhibition, the ruins of the outbuildings are very interesting. We had a lot of fun with the squirrels living there...a fun for all especially if you have some nuts to give away

Impressive house which is surprisingly cool inside, built around a central courtyard. The house has some amazing history and the restored woodwork is worth the entrance fee alone. The house feels quite sad without any furniture or other items from its past but impressive all the same. Good toilets in-house.

Nice to visit of passing. Modern art exhibit inside. Was too late to go inside but the building is a nice example of Spanish colonialism.

The architecture and history is interesting, however the place is souless as not dressed with period furniture . A small art exhibition was on display during my visit in December 2018. Perhaps more entertaining was the abundance of small furry squirrel/meerkat type animals scurrying around the rocks outside.

The hike was great fun and enjoyed very spectacular view at the top. We parked slightly further to avoid the dirt road and the trail from the south was real nice. Also we had gym shoes no need for hiking ones if you don't want to travel with them. At the top we also saw some very cute squirrels! At the top was quite windy and we walked around the crater.

Relatively short and fairly easy walk from free parking area with viewing area. Relatively busy with tourists. Not as stunning as the steep walk to the top of the rim of Bayuyo and Montana San Rafael towards Corralejo which is also a lot quieter. The easiest and fastest way to reach the top of Calderon Hondo is by parking your car at Camino Calderas (northeast of the volcano crater) and hike from there.The road Camino Calderas is a rocky gravel road so drive carefully. From the parking lot (free to use), the trail towards the volcanic caldera starts. It’s clearly visible all the way and most of the path is made of rocks. It took us around 10-15 minutes from the parking lot to the viewing platform on the volcano. 10 minutes more from the platform to the north west top area on the volcano where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset 🌅

Gorgeous!! I loved the hike to the volcano! You can walk around the entire crater. It's stunning! So quiet and peaceful. It's 3km up and around the volcano crater. I highly recommend solid shoes.

Awesome view! You can walk on the edge around the vulcano, great experience, not physically demanding, I recommend. Watch out though, the road during the last 10 min to the vulcano is extremely bumpy, it's like a lot of small waves, but the waves are solid. Our small rental car was not happy at all and we may or may not did some damage to our tires.

Easy little walk to the top with nice views of the crater. Probably also from the rest of the island but we were there during sandstorm Calima which takes away quite some view. There are also nice little shelters made by rocks where you can browse around.

Loved all the art (indoor & outside) and the place was well laid out, but the cafe wasn't open and we weren't informed until we asked. We were planning on taking a break half way and enjoying a nice lunch, but instead had to cut our visit short as everyone was hungry. Affordably priced reproductions (prints) of the artwork and polite staff.

Interesting gallery and cactus garden with reasonable little cafe attached. Outside is the cactus garden which is quite restfull to look round. The gallery space is quite large and has a number of artist's work on wall display as well as manu more in the rotunda. Decent cafe we had ham and cheese toastie which was fine.

Easy accessible by car on mostly asphalt road. Lighthouse seems to be renovated recently, still works are in progress still. Great spot to watch sunset as you can stop on many places arround the place.

Nice lighthouse. Stop if driving nearby is ok. Inside it is fishing museum, closed during our visit. From here go to the north, plenty of nice beaches and viewpoints there.

You're enjoyment here is very much dependent on if you are in to things like lighthouses and wild beaches. I loved it as a break from the beaches at El Cotillo. Took us about 40 minutes to walk here. I believe there is a museum, but it wasn't open on our visit. So all there was to do was walk around and take in the landscape, which for me was highly enjoyable!

Beautiful lighthouse on the northwest coast of fuerteventura just north of El Cotillo. Beautiful location with the Atlantic crashing in behind. The lighthouse toilets, etc, were all closed, but there are picnic tables there, which is a great spot for a bit of lunch. The beaches in this area are small and lagoon like with warm calming water. There's not much else there, but a beautiful part of the island

We visited this lighthouse on 7th February 2024. It was all cordoned off as major repairs and refurbishment were under way to the buildings here. It did not look like the work will not be finished for sometime. Having said that it was worth the effort to visit here for the scenery, fossil beach by the lighthouse and the walks around the area.

Hired a cycle and got out there. 32 mile circuit from corralejo and a great ride it was.

Best Surf Institute on Fuerteventura! Very friendly and competent teachers, helping you individually no matter if you are a complete beginner or already advanced. These guys really know how to teach surfing! I stayed for a beginners class at surf Institute and had an amazing time. The classes were always very small and Pat, the teacher, took a lot of time for instructions and individual feedback. Even though I haven't been to many other surf schools, I think that surf institute is special as the atmosphere was always very welcoming and familiar. I really felt comfortable! Besides surfing the guys also know how to spent good times with loads of great music. Different spots were visited every day depending on the weather conditions and waves. What was special about it wasn't just the variety, but also the detailed explanations of the respective spots - where it's best to surf, what you need to pay attention to and where potential dangers lurk. Our coach Tommy really made the course something special. His deep expertise, coupled with an infectious enthusiasm and patience, made learning a pleasure. He knew how to challenge each of us individually, but also how to encourage him, so that at the end of the day we came home with a feeling of progress and satisfaction. Last but not least, a big thank you to Vanessa and Dave. As hosts, they were always approachable, super helpful and open to feedback. It is clear that they put their heart and soul into this project and are constantly striving to optimize the offer and the experience for their guests. Erstens, die Location: Das Pine Tree House hat nicht nur eine fantastische Lage, sondern punktet auch mit seinem modernen und zugleich behaglichen Ambiente. Ich hatte das Privileg, in der "Honeymoon Suite" zu residieren. Von der eigenen Terrasse über das geräumige Badezimmer bis hin zum komfortablen Bett war alles top. Das Interieur des Hauses ist mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, was man in jeder Ecke spürt. Der Außenbereich ist mindestens genauso beeindruckend. Neben einem einladenden Grillplatz gibt es eine Slagline für die Aktiven unter uns und eine äußerst gemütliche Lounge. Ein besonderes Highlight für mich war definitiv das Liegenetz - der perfekte Ort, um nach einem langen Surftag abzuschalten. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag meinerseits wäre ein zusätzlicher Kühlschrank, vor allem, wenn man mit vielen Leuten im Haus ist wird es schnell eng im Kühlschrank Jetzt zu den Menschen: Es ist immer ein bisschen Glücksspiel, wenn man in einer Gemeinschaftsunterkunft übernachtet. Aber ich hatte wirklich das Glück, mit einigen großartigen Menschen zusammenzutreffen. Unsere Gruppe harmonierte perfekt, und es fühlte sich schnell wie ein kleiner Urlaubs-"Familien"-Trip an. Nun aber zum eigentlichen Highlight, dem Surfkurs: Die Organisation war von Anfang an tadellos. Durch einen Gruppenchat wurden wir stets über den Ablauf und mögliche Änderungen informiert. Jeden Tag wurden je nach Wetterbedingungen und Wellen unterschiedliche Spots angesteuert. Das Besondere dabei war nicht nur die Abwechslung, sondern auch die detaillierten Erklärungen zu den jeweiligen Spots – wo man am besten surft, worauf man achten muss und wo potenzielle Gefahren lauern. Unser Coach Tommy hat den Kurs wirklich zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Sein tiefes Fachwissen, gepaart mit einer ansteckenden Begeisterung und Geduld, hat das Lernen zu einem Vergnügen gemacht. Er hat es verstanden, jeden von uns individuell zu fordern, aber auch zu fördern, sodass man am Ende des Tages mit einem Gefühl des Fortschritts und der Zufriedenheit nach Hause kam. Last but not least, ein großes Dankeschön an Vanessa und Dave. Als Gastgeber waren sie immer ansprechbar, super hilfsbereit und offen für Feedback. Es ist offensichtlich, dass sie ihr Herzblut in dieses Projekt stecken und ständig bemüht sind, das Angebot und die Erfahrung für ihre Gäste zu optimieren. Zusammenfassend: Wenn ihr nach einer authentischen, bereichernden und zugleich entspannten Surferfahrung sucht, ist das Surf Institute Fuerteventura genau das Richtige. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und kann es kaum erwarten, meine nächste Reise zu planen und mit SIF ein besserer Surfer zu werden.

We stopped here as part of a bus tour. A quick talk was given about the Aloe Vera plant. Since our group had English and German people in it, it was done in both languages. We were able to sample some of the products, afterwards, we went into the shop part for anyone who wished to purchase anything.

Helpful lady explained the differences between the various types of Aloe Vera products, with a little "hard sell", but it is a shop after all. We weren't offered a demonstration of the plant this time but there was a freshly cut piece on the side for us to look at. We bought a few items and were given a small Aloe Vera plant as a free gift

We also visited the other, more marketed aloe place in La Oliva, but eventually we made our purchases here. A welcoming lady speaking perfect English invited us for a quick education demonstration of how aloe is processed and explained all the different products with giving us a sample to try from everything. The products aren’t cheap and some of the packages might look old fashioned but the experience made us purchase several products for ourselves and as gifts too. I won’t rate the other La Oliva Aloe Center but the experience was subpar there and turned us off from buying anything, so I would recommend this place over the other.

Beautiful small shopping area. We went on a Thursday when they had an absolutely lovely craft fayre, there was some fantastic stalls. It's a charming area with little rows of shops and stalls leading of a main square. It also has a bell tower which you can climb. We got the lift to floor 2 then went up from there. The views are amazing 😍

Best visited on Thursday or Sunday when the craft market is there but there are lots of other nice shops to browse. We went on Sunday and had a great tapas lunch with live music. The atmosphere was lovely with people getting up to dance. Recommended for a visit.

Lovely courtyards & walk ways. Variety of shops including a fantastic HiperDino. Dinner was fab in the centre court yard and do not miss out on the fantastic souvenir shop with the glass floor! It's absolutely stunningly beautiful! Market on a Sunday is all arts & crafts. Only down side to the Centro, is everything closes at 9pm. So once we had dinner, there was nothing left to do. The one toy shop that was there, was extortionately priced out of our 9 year old's price range. So she was so disappointed after waiting to return the next day when it opened.

There are lots of shops of all sorts for all tastes, some expensive and high quality and some more affordable. There was a market with live entertainment on Sunday and I believe it returns on Thursdays. There is a central square with lots of pedestrian lanes going in all directions. There are public toilets (signposted, but at the bottom of the red towers) there appears to be an underground car park here too but we walked from our hotel. On Sunday I saw a security guard so very safe. The shopping Centre also has a large dino supermarket and chemist / pharmacy.

A very nice place, with live music, plenty different restaurants and bars, shops and local markets. A quant place, affordable and also has a tower where you can see the entire island and peek on Lobos Island too for no charge!

We love this shopping centre. Excellent variety of shops and places to eat. Parking underneath is available too which makes things much easier. Most places open late.

Really good shopping and eating area with plenty of entertainment going on too.. great tapas bars and good value shops with decent quality souvenirs. Shame that some of the units were empty but sign@times, eh?

Great little shopping centre, got everything would need at a centre. We only passed through as a short cut too the port. There is a tower there that you can go up to the top of and get a 360° view which is free to do.

Great place to buy local tapas great coffee. Sit with locals get a great feel for the town. Beach near by. Marina down the road. Car park. Traditional shops and clothes to purchase. Huge shopping Mall. Duty free outlet Pharmacy. Supermarket. You can buy everything you need in town.

Cozy little open center with a supermarket (Hiper Dino), restaurants and few shops. Sunday there are a market with small stands. Selling different stuff Today (Sunday) there were live music after the market closed - don't know if it's every Sunday 🤷🏽‍♀️

Beautiful small shopping mall with central square that often has live music. There is also a fantastic market here on Thursdays and Sundays with an emphasis on art and jewellery products, many being hand made. There are many small bars and restaurants to relax and have a relaxing drink or sit down meal. Recommend a visit for sure. We visited several times during our holiday.

Beautiful place where most locals gather. The market on Thursdays is quite big and you can find handmade gems. Definitely will visit it again!
