A true definition of fun, thrill and amusement. A gigantic ride on park that gets adrenaline pumping. Games, merry go rounds, super high speed roller coasters, boat cruise, tower lift, good meals, all sorts of fun games and rides. The place is well situated, very neat and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ticket takes you in and you can use it for all the rides. Safety is paramount as little kids are subjected to height measurement before using certain rides. A true value for the money. Kids love it so much. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and return back some other time. Great fun!

We visited on a Tuesday and could finish riding most of the recommended rides within 3-4 hours. I would recommend trying to book the tickets in advance(little cheap) and also if you’re a uni student to avail 10% student discount. Also, BPB has lot of rides suitable for every age group though the crowd was mostly kids. Moreover, wait time for the popular rides is usually 20-25 min. So, if you visit on weekends maybe the wait could be more. The food court is good too. All in all we enjoyed our time there.

I loved it, I came for the weekend took me around 4 hours and it was worth it. Incredible theme park beautifully historic and a great family time. I would return I loved the big dipper and icon!. 100 years old the big dipper I hope has national protection due to it's historic value.

We went to this place in the summertime, so it was extremely busy. It was lots of fun though, worth the visit. My son and I went on all the thrill rides. Man, did we 😱 scream. They also had lots of gentle rides for the younger ones. The best ride in the park was the Sponge Bob splash dash ride in Nickelodeon land, playing water war with everyone. We were completely soaked, but we laughed so hard it was so much fun. Take a change of clothes for the kids. There are lots of places to buy food but not enough seats to enjoy your meal. In all my life, I have never been anywhere and felt the sun so hot. There was absolutely no wind on the day we went. The coastline was so dry and hot that day it almost spoilt the day. The worst part was that the restaurants didn't have enough water/ice to cater to the volume of people there. My advice is to take lots of ice and water with you if you plan to go to Blackpool in the summer ☀️. Whatever you do, don't venture on the beach. It's nasty.

We had great fun going on the rides. Never had any food there as had already eaten. Sadly only stayed about 3 hours as had a long drive home as it was a Sunday. It was very expensive for the short time there but all of us enjoyed it from my two year old granddaughter to myself the granny and the others in between lol as there were 5 of us in our group. It was great to have rides suitable for all of us.

Really fun day out. Pretty good value compared to some competitors, especially the food and drinks which are pretty reasonable prices by theme park standards. Really needs more seating, especially near food outlets. Also some more shaded areas for hot days. Some areas are a bit scruffy, but the rides are world class. Staff are really friendly.

One of the best parks ever been. The waiting was not too long. Clean toilets, lots of options on rides, food and drinks. Friendly staff all over. We will be back in our next holiday. Worth every penny. Love it

You know it’s lovely to visit Blackpool to see the lights walk the prom and grab a chip shop take out and sit and watch the waves 🌊 or go up the tower for a view. Lots of shows on and gigs to attend there’s something for everyone in Blackpool area the weather can be bad as it’s the northwestern uk but it can also be very good in the summer months but the lights are an autumn festival.

We had a nice time at the park. While we enjoyed being here we did find it rather difficult to find rides as there are no sign’s around for directions and the map is not the handiest. The park does seem rather old so it would do with a bit of a glow up. We were there on Saturday and it was pretty busy with the longest queue being about an hour. Would be interesting to see the queues on a weekday

Couldn't book online as was last minute thing so was a little shocked at the gate price. Family of 3, with a 5year old, lots of rides he was still too small for but there were plenty he could go on. Staff operating rides/in amusement arcades were all very friendly and welcoming, food at restaurant places quite expensive but not too bad at the various stalls dotted around. Plenty of toilets.

Overall really good, but the opening times are too short. We were in rush to visit everything, especially knowing that some of the rides close at 4pm not 5pm. The waiting times were brilliant, not too much people, but its because it was Wednesday.

Great way to spend a day, nickelodeon land is great for smaller kids. It is a bit of a pain having to use your phone to scan a QR code to scan to get on every ride. The picture options for the rides are reasonably priced, £20 for a wrist band you can scan on all the rides with cameras and get a digital copy

First time at a theme park and the pleasure beach offered a truly great experience. All the rides were unique in their own way, and most (newer ones) were very thrilling and smooth. Place was kept very clean and all the staff were nice and friendly. Good value for the price - a set price and was able to go on any ride and amount of times. The app helped knowing the length of waiting times. Plenty of food and drink at reasonable prices. Including some gift shops scattered around. Overall, the pleasure beach was an amazing experience and I would certainly be going again.

Excellent day at the park. A lot of rides to do, good food places, and vegetarian/vegan options at pretty good prices. Staff are so friendly and helpful and made our visit brilliant. Big shout out to Aaron who served us with our Bucket of fries! A great example of good service and friendliness to Blackpool pleasure beach. Wonderful experience and we are returning later this year.

Had a good time with the family, lots of rides for all ages. Offered good value for money. Some of the queues were too long, particularly when they allow unrestricted access for those with queue jumping passes. Staff were very friendly.

Went on a Sunday. Mix of weather but no fast winds so all rides were open. ICON was the best by far, very smooth and enjoyable. Valhalla was a disappointment compared to the one before the upgrade. Would not recommend it. Infusion gets worse every year. Lot of head banging and was painful. Big One again lives up to its name. Kids had a lot of fun in Nickelodeon Land.

It's a small theme park with 100 years old roller coaster, which is really amazing. It is the best attraction for the young crowds to have fun here. There are entry fees for it, and you can have full day fun if you are looking for a theme park but not a grand one. Opposite to it is a very peaceful beach with benches provided to sit and relax. If you are at this very place in early hours, you can relax yourself with the melodious wave sounds.

What a day we had! We went on a trip, and when we arrived, I was blown away at how awesome the fun fair was. There were plenty of things to see and do, and the food was really good. Going to Bubble Waffle was really interesting as the way the way the waffles were made were so cool, and it's definitely something new to try if you haven't already! Definitely recommend going because it's a really good family day out!!

First time we've been for nearly 40 years... we loved it just as much now and we did back then. The wooden rollercoasters are just brilliant. Valhalla was amazing and all the old favourites, ghost train, Alice in wonderland, etc. are all well maintained and very nostalgic. Go have lots of fun at this fair. Pricey but worth it if you stay for the whole day

It's definitely worth visiting and you will have a good time but it most definitely needs a Paint job and on some of the rides you can see a lot of rust and patchy worn out rails and bodywork. The food though is top dollar and some of the best I have tasted, the pizza's are the best I have eaten and great fish and chips and the donuts are yummy. If ya want a pint or whiskey etc it's all there waiting for ya. They need a better system of getting on the rides coz having to show your digital pass on every single ride becomes a pain. I like that they have a lot for the kids as well. They do really have to sort some of the rides out coz you really do get thrown about on some of them and the big one tends to break down a fair bit and one other thing it's the Easter holidays so you would expect the place would stay open later instead of 10am and closes 5pm. Also the hotels mostly are poor so if you're in Blackpool then pay the extra and stay in the better ones like the big blue etc, honestly I'm telling you the truth coz most of them get full up with homeless people etc and social services are visiting these what they call hotels. You also have Ripley's which is well worth the visit along with sea world and lots of others.

We stayed the night before in the Boulevard hotel. It was excellent. You get to use a hotel guest entrance to the park. I love Blackpool and I love rides. The pleasure beach isn't what it used to be. The south end of the park, by the big one, icon etc seems to have been in receipt of support. The middle from the river caves towards the main entrance is a sad sight. The big one is still an experience all this time later, it's a rattly intense blast, which is cool. Revolution is an old skoop classic and icon is a next gen beast. The grand national is fun. Infusion is fast and intense. The nickelodeon flyer is good for a laugh. The planes and avalanche are Blackpool staples and still very enjoyable. When we were there the ice blast tower looked like it was being removed, the river caves were closed and the horse ride by valhalla was closed. The kids car ride is closed and from what I hear is being removed in the future. Hopefully when the car ride is replaced it regenerates this section of the park. I hope it was just early in the season, so they were just getting the place ready for the summer season. I'll be honest I didn't see any signs of this, but I'm being optimistic! It was about £150 for the 4 of us to go in, there's no option for none riders. The food inside was fine, reasonable pricing. Most people we met working in the park were warm & friendly. I wish I could write that it was amazing, but it wasn't, 3 out of 5 is fair. We'll be back to Blackpool, but the pleasure beach will be a swerve for us until they tidy the place up a bit.

We visited on a day of high winds so unfortunately some rides weren't open until later in the day and the big one was closed all day. However I feel the park should offer some kind of return incentive for a day when it will be open as it hasn't been open every time we've visited in the last 10 years. The park opened at 10am, but hardly any of the rides did. We found ourselves waiting nearly an hour to get on the first ride. Throughout the day we managed to get on all the rides we wanted as queues weren't huge, but it didn't really feel value for money compared to what's on offer at Alton towers etc. Also I understand height restrictions for safety but how was my son at 131cm allowed on most of the big rides but wasn't allowed on bumper cars? He's been on bumper cars across the country before with no issue but here it's height restricted to such a high height? Anyway it's a fairly tame thrill seekers day out but I wouldn't be in a rush to return.

Love Blackpool. Recommend to anyone. Definitely worth a visit. So much to do. Great amusement park. Helpful, friendly staff.

This is my second visit here and it just keeps getting better, fun for all ages throughout the park,would happily keep coming back here, no matter how many times you ride the rollercoasters they are still so fun

Great value and iconic way to see the Promenade in Blackpool! Some of the trams are open top, which is great for the illuminations but beware of bad weather! We just missed an open top tram and we were disappointed we missed it. But as luck would have it, a rain storm came out of nowhere and we were lucky we got on a tram with a roof!

I was looking forward to a ride on the tram which I experienced today. Unfortunately the tram was very busy with standing room only and despite all the information I have seen they would not accept my bus pass for payment. I was not the only person on the tram who expected their bus pass to cover the cost if the fare. The conductor was very nice about it but told me I would have to pay for the return journey so I declined and got off at the next stop and had quite a long walk back into Blackpool. I suggest they update their information.

Awesome place. Definitely book online to save a few quid. Should have walked around here a bit slower as we managed to do it all in an hour and a half. Plenty of photo opportunities, although found that some of the photos we took didn't save to our card given. Really nice here though and staff were friendly. We went on a Monday for opening time and it was pretty quiet too, so much easier to get photos. Marvel section was BRILLIANT!

First ever visit to Madame Tussauds and it was superb. My 5ry old son and 4yr old daughter absolutely loved their time here ( we didn't know how they would be, with all the walking around and we didn't know if this would be there thing) it was so lovely to see how much fun they were having and having their pictures taking with all the wax works. We spent around 2hrs and it was 2hrs of pure fun and laughs. The wax works them selves are really good. Good value for money and I would highly recommend visiting. The venue was very clean throughout and the staff were friendly. Thanks for the memories.

It's a lovely place to visit. Seeing Live Sculptures is amazing. This place is worth the money and has nice places to take pictures. I live the scenery.

Staff lovely and helpful, easy access with the pram and can take it round the entire place so you don't miss out on anything. Good photo opportunities too. Doesn't take long to get around so bear that inind when planning your day. Took us about 1.5 hours to casually walk around. Would defo recommend as part of your day out but would book in advance as I can imagine it becomes very busy.

Wax figures really good as well as been able to have a quick drink in the Rovers Return, reasonably prices for entry. Staff friendly and helpful.

We have been visiting next door experience of Peter Rabbit. Great 45 minutes spent with kids. Real treat is a the end.

Had a brilliant time in the Blackpool one. Staff were so friendly. Especially Francis, he did the pub quiz and sang happy birthday to a little lad. Absolutely recommend it and I will be going back. Favorite piece was Michael Jackson. X

We didn't initially book this to visit. However, we decided to when we arrived at Blackpool on our Pic n mix tickets. We were not disappointed and had lots of fun from strictly come dancing to Ant n Dec to trying to pull out Thor's Hammer with a good pint in The Rovers Return! This experience took us around 90 minutes as a group of 6. We booked this in advance with a Pic n Mix tickets.

We went with grandchildren they thought it was marvellous. What a wonderful day

Used our Merlin Cards (otherwise £14-20 odd entry fee) to get in. Fantastic venue with very little queueing (weekday morning) and very little crowds (unlike London venue). Smaller venue than London, but just as good and entertaining. Fun for all the family (10 -68 year old). Be aware, no parking. Strongly suggest parking in one of the many council car parks

It was a good experience, thought there would be more and recent celebs to see. Was a good couple of hours and the group liked it took alot of photos but I was expecting more like when I was a child. I would suggest getting tickets on li e because if you have them then it is straight in no waiting only mega positive for me. There is wheel chair access and lifts to go between floors which really good.

I was supposed to be going up the Tower, but it got cancelled with 48 hours notice. I was offered to swap my tickets for Madame Tussauds, which was a simple process. Honestly, it's not entirely my vibe. I can appreciate that they have tried to get figures of people/characters from a wide range of media, but it still felt slightly underwhelming. The Marvel area was more interactive and interesting, with clever use of props to amplify the Marvel setting. I did go by the wax hand counter and purchase myself and my partner's hand cast, which was a fun experience, and the staff were very friendly throughout. I would recommend if you're into your celebrity icons/binge media, otherwise, you're not missing much.

Recently visited Madame Tussauds for the first time. It was definitely a blast seeing all these popular BBC (I believe) shows and life like statues was certainly a unique Blackpool experience. And for anyone wanting a nice drink, there's a small bar in the EastEnders section. If I recall correctly, they served some food and drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) so it's a nice little place to pit stop if you need anything. Additionally, at the end there is a small games section with vending machines, some games and a rather pretty view of Center Pier (and the surrounding area) to admire while you relax or have a snack. Overall a great experience and highly recommended, especially with friends or family.

It wasn't as I remembered from being a child but then everything changes. A lot of the wax works were very life like and some of the sets were great. The one thing is the accessible help is brilliant they were ready and waiting to take you from floor to floor and gave you information about the next exhibits. The Alan Carr exhibit is great and also tells you all the work that goes into making a full figure. On the way back we were shown the way to the final exhibition and the gift shop. The lady in there was lovely and really helpful. In fact being fair all the staff were. There are plenty spots to sit for a rest. You can also get a drink in the Rovers Return half way round.

I wasn't really happy with the museum. It's a bit small. Beware the pictures they take for you are £15 even if you want them digital. The best way the royal part, Beatles, and ET, that's about it ends for me.

Great time with the kids and wife, I do feel like there should be more A listers and singers. I know they got to follow the trend with celebrities also but it was a good time.

Not quite Chester Zoo level but we went to Blackpool Zoo and had a great time. The zoo is home to animals from all over the world, with their enclosures being spacious and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they're always happy to answer any questions you have. Overall, I had a great time at Blackpool Zoo. It's a great place to visit for a family day out or just if you like animals. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, educational, and affordable day out.

First ever visit whilst on holiday with my wife and two children. The zoo is really nice. Lots of beautiful animals and really good viewing areas. The dinosaur sarafi is a really nice touch, both my children absolutely loved this area. The zoo is very clean with nice friendly staff, I do have to mention how nice a young girl member of staff was who was operating the jungle bouncy castle ( I didn't get her name, but she had pink hair) she was very good with the kids and talking to the adults waiting and went to the aid of a child who was crying which was nice to see as she didn't hesitate to do so. Lots of food facilities across the park. Definitely worth a visit. Many thanks for the memories.

Hands down the best zoo we've ever been to! The Big Cat Habitat was my favourite, as unlike other zoos, they had plastic viewing windows where you could see them closely and it allowed for some amazing photo opportunities. Hands down the best experience, my husband said I did not stop smiling all the way around. I think the photos say it all themselves!

Great day out with my friends, lovely atmosphere and amazing animals. The park is stunning to look around and they have plenty of animals on display. Cheap tickets too especially for the time we spent in the place. Food in the cafe was expensive but worth the price as it was delicious.

We had an excellent day out with our 4 year old granddaughter. Not to big a site, she was able to walk round everywhere with no moans! The animals are great. Well looked after with plenty of keepers around to ask questions. We really enjoyed the sealion show. Plenty of places for a picnic. Take your sandwiches for a great experience, but beware the seagulls, lol!

I have visited this zoo once with my family. It’s a decent zoo with ample amount of animals. What makes the Zoo stand out is the Dinosaur walk. If you or your kids like dinosaurs, you will definitely like it. Compared to it’s closest counterpart like Chester zoo, it’s nothing close in terms of varieties of wildlife they have. However it’s still a fun place for a family day out.

It's a really good zoo! This place actually has a lot more there than you think, we loved the elephants and monkeys. The zoo isn't massive so it's easy to get around, but my kids did mention they felt like the enclosure was small for some animals. We would absolutely go again.

We had the best day ever. We arrived about 12 and had no issues with parking. We went all around the park and brought a packed lunch with us. We managed to eat whilst watching monkeys play, which was lovely. The bird house was easily our favourite. All of the birds instantly took a shine to everybody wandering around. We paid a small fee to feed them, and they took a shine to my glasses. There are lots of vending machines around and a lovely park for the kids to play. Only small gripe was the train not being available, which happens a lot since this is the 4th visit, and it always seems to be closed. All in all, a wonderful day out for the family. Highly recommended.

I drove across the country to Blackpool zoo with an autistic girl on a day trip. I will be totally honest. I do not agree with animals in captivity, but as part of my job I had no choice. There is a big car park (£3) within easy walking distance of the main building. Prices on admission are quite fair and it was brilliant that they offer carers free admission with ID. Massive brownie point right there. The zoo as well spread out, and I got a plan of the zoo and a list of shows happening throughout the day. Sadly, it was wet and rainy day in the park which meant a lot of the animals were understandably taking cover and could not be seen. They were a couple of guys discussing the animals on a microphone, telling us about the animals daily activities and how the zoo provide enrichment in their lives. However, as the guy talked about the lions I did think they looked rather sad in the enclosure, just lying about without enough room to really run at any speed. A lot of the monkeys, especially the orangutans were lying at the bottom of their habitat bored out of their skulls and I found that quite stressful. In my opinion, animals that normally have a jungle to swing through, shouldn’t be in enclosures. But that’s just my opinion. They seemed to be well looked after though a few of the enclosures were more prison like! Plenty of toilets in the park and a few places to eat and drink too. As expected, the gift shop was very expensive and I did not like the hard sell from the guys at the green screen Photo Booth. Overall if you enjoy zoos and animals living in captivity and not in a natural environment, you will probably enjoy this day out.

One of the best zoos we've been to with children. A very well laid out zoo with various animals. We totally loved the conservation area where we walked through a huge bird cage which was very unique and lovely trees and foliage. Creating an absolute serene feeling. All the animals looked well and the zoo keepers are working hard to keep them in shape. The whole zoo areas where the animal habitations were, had been tailor made and looked so close to the real deal was well achieved by the people who developed them. They also had the children play areas where you could take a break etc. A nice farm play area too and peacocks, peahens strolling around the zoo was another grand experience for the kids. One let down were the speakers during the live shows as they were too loud and crackling and fuzzy. Didn't help our child with autism. There are also a large number of seagulls present so don't take any breaded sandwiches with you otherwise they'll be at you like vultures! All in all a great time and we shall return for another visit. Allah willing.

Blackpool Zoo has it all. From their fantastic selection of lively and friendly monkeys to their fantastic barn, birds that land on your head to be fed, brilliant sea lion exhibitions and way much more. It’s a massive park full of things to see round every corner. The only issues is some of their more larger enclosures are lacking animals and lively activities, plus, they should reintroduce their train line a lot more often. Other than that, great park and great staff!

Brilliant. Animals are so well cared for and the enclosures are immaculate. Great for adults, kids or families. Highly recommended and entry prices are great value for money. Lots of places for picnics if you're on a budget..

A great day out. Only criticism is that the food portions in the restaurant are too small, therefore not value for money for the price. We purchased food prior, so we got a small discount. However, it does need improvement. Overall, it was a wonderful family day out and worth the visit.

Well what a amazing zoo to visit, lots of animals to see. The zoo staff are extremely friendly and helpful. As well as the grounds are well looked after and are clean. Restaurants are well stocked and fairly priced. Plenty of picnic areas if you wish to bring you own food. But beware of the seagulls. Threw out the zoo it came across to me as wheelchair friendly as well as pram friendly. Plenty of toilets around that are cleaned to a high standard. I would highly recommended a day out at blackpool zoo as you won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely day, the weather was perfect, it was very busy, families enjoying half term holidays. But there was plenty of room, the park itself is spacious and well laid out. Lots of nice places to sit. The collection of animals is great, the new Big Cat Habitat is a great enclosure. We also enjoyed the elephants, giraffes and many more, although we didn't have time to see them all. Highly recommended.

Great experience for the whole family! 4 year old son loved the dinosaur safari. Food wasn't bad priced either. You get warned as you go in about seagulls swooping down at meal places, but you still get the odd person who will leave food for them.

Fantastic place to visit. Not to busy. Plenty of clean toilets. Many places to sit down. Staff really friendly. All animals made an appearance. Animals looked healthy, areas they occupied had food and water. Fed the birds.Highly recommend you visit here really worth the money. Only negative is arrived and car park machines not taking money. As going in side I noticed a man with orange jacket who i got a ticket from. If ever back in Blackpool will be returning.

Brilliant day out! There are so many talks and shows which are informative and lots of different animals to see. We took our 1 year old and 6 year old. They both had a great time and it was just the right size that they weren't exhausted. The enclosures weren't too spread out so they were always able to look at something. It was nice and clean with staff regularly walking around litter picking. Lots of picnic areas and stalls for drinks/ice creams, which didn't cost an arm and a leg. Would highly recommend and go again. The price is much more reasonable. If you book in advance online its a little cheaper.

We had a lovely day here, the staff were very helpful and informative. The facilities were good, plenty of food and drinks and toilets. Lovely setting with trees and lakes. Food and drinks were great. Good selection of animals to look at with information about the animals next to the enclosure.

Much prefer this zoo to chester, smaller to walk around especially with kids. My kids love the dinosaur trail and playground. The sea lion demonstration really amazed them 🙂 With my youngest being autistic, it is a less crowded and more friendly environment. She can enjoy it and partly walk round without fear of getting lost or overwhelmed.

Nice Zoo with good shows especially the sea lion show. Great passionate person doing the talks. Only gripes is get charged for parking after paying for the zoo tickets. The cup of tea my friend had was not nice especially. But otherwise a great day out even in the rain.

A weekday visit due to special a offer. 40% discount per person with a Fylde post code! All children aged under 3s are free. Such an enjoyable day. There was a distinct lack of visitors and it probably cost more to open for the day than what was taken. The zoo was very well maintained, several areas were undergoing maintenance work or upgrading. A wide variety of endangered animals were available to view and lots had feed times and talks from zoo keepers at designated times of the day. This zoo is well worth a visit and like many industries, makes you wonder how they can keep going with a clear lack of public funds. Yes they will have busy times, but the quiet times are extremely quiet! Whilst I whole heartedly do believe that animals should be protected within their natural habitat, this zoo goes a long way to ensure this is replicated as much as possible and is eager for various species of animals not to become extinct. A very enjoyable and interesting day was spent here.

Even though it was drizzling with rain.it was fantastic what a day out ,we didn't rush around we took our time ,my highlight was seeing the tigers fantastic exhibit .As for value for money that's 5 stars to not over pricing themselves.you will love if ya 5 or 65 or older than that

Visited the zoo with my 3 little ones age 5,6 and 9 we all had a great time spent the full day with so much to do, was a short wait to pay for the parking £3 for the day also a small wait to get in, food can be bought it's a bit on the more expensive side but ilthata always the same in these places plenty of benches if you want to take a picnic. Balloon and inflatable things to buy for kids, but you can pay with cards with these. Great day out, and I could not recommend it enough.

A lovely Zoo, it was easy to navigate and had a large variety of animals to see. It has a nice cafe to sit and eat as well as some amazing talks throughout the day.

A great day out for all the family. Quite reasonable prices and a bit cheaper if you book online first. The car park can get busy and is pay and display. It's well laid out with some nice updated animal houses. It was spring when we went and some of the animals were being kept in as the ground was still wet. Plenty of conservation information and information about the animals and their natural habitat. Worth a day out but I would take some food as it's expensive on site.

Loved my visit to the zoo and seeing the animals. In my opinion there wasn't that many animals. Theres no repitiles/spiders etc. There's a fab dinosaur walk through though!. The Lions and Gorillas are the big attraction. Loved the train that goes around the zoo. There's a big play area for the kids. Loved the cafe which is a good size with lots of staff. The gift shop is large too and well stocked.

Fabulous. Lovely staff and happy animals. Disabled? Wheelchair loan is free and one carer goes free ( proof required, PIP letter, blue badge etc). Carpark is £3 but it seems they can add it to your ticket. Not sure how that works as carpark says "pay and display".....

We had an amazing day, all the animals are well looked after and happy within their own habits, custom made to look and feel like the real thing. The staff were all super friendly and happy to discuss animals with the visitors. Not my first time visiting, but it was definitely my favourite, absolutely nothing to complain about.

I'd of enjoyed it here a lot more if it wasn't so badly packed. I think it's kinda dangerous to have that many people in a water park where there is a wave pool. My 6 year old girl was kinda bored because all the big slides were for bigger kids/adults. And I just stood and watched her on the smaller slides. I'd definitely go back but just not if it's packed.

Enjoyed our day at sandcastles, the booking and the process was easy! The changing rooms were clean and had enough facilities for everyone to use! The pool it’s self was again clean! Lots to do you can easily spend 2-3 hours there. Food was not the best it wasn’t the worst but I would get food from elsewhere if I went again! The waves, whirlpool, splash zone and slides are all fantastic and the queueing system is quite fast!

Perfect place to spend a few hours with the kids. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to ride all water rides because of the queue in each one. Some of them were 5 to 10 minutes, waiting till your turn but worth the wait. You will have a swimming pool with a good size for swimmers and non swimmers, they turn the waves on and off for a few times. They will give you a bracelet locker key for your belongings before you enter the rides' premises. You will have a lot of seats to rest and a cafe bar if you want to eat. Friendly staff.

Hubby and teenage children loved the water slides, queues manageable, as booked time slots to prevent over crowding. Water warm, good wave machine. A lovely cafe with food and drink menu for those choosing not to swim. Well priced, excellent wristband for lockers and wristband for food and drink purchases. Will definitely return.

Overall had a nice time here! Plenty too do for younger and older kids. Slides(height /age restrictions on some), wave pool, lazy river and play equipment. Good facilities and systems in place. Plenty of lifeguards on duty but it can get pretty busy. Lockers on a band system with electronic locks. Buy tickets online ideally. Locals get a locals card before you book get it for half price otherwise its very expensive to visit and i certainly wouldn't pay normal rate. Food and drink available at the pools area. Wave pool was over too quick and some of pool tiles inside need a good clean. Usual swimming pool rules apply to here also.

Had a Brilliant time. But I think £84 for a family of four for three hours is a little expensive. The last hour we was in there was extremely busy. queued for 35 minutes to get a one slide. Find it very hard to believe you're running at reduced capacity it would be impossible to get any more people in.

First visit to this brilliant Waterpark with 10 & 13yr old. Busy as you would expect on a wet day in Easter hols, but arrived for 9.30am and got round all big slides in an hour. Great theming, very helpful staff & queues kept moving. Pool and surrounding temp warm. Plenty of poolside seating & toilets. Electronic tag lockers, large changing area and hot showers. Cafe with tea/coffee & snacks.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Sandcastle Waterpark; it was a fantastic experience filled with laughter and joy. Although the long queues were a bit disappointing, it didn't diminish the overall greatness of the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting the waterpark for an unforgettable and fun-filled time. "the spa is absolutely rubbish, don't waste your money"

First visit today 26.7.23 with my and 2 children ages 5 &4, we all had the best time. We had a times lot for 12.00, my children were eager to get in the park and they let us in at 11.30 till 2.30 which was nice. Staff were really friendly, even one off the staff in the pools went to my son as he was upset (because I took his sister on a big slide and mummy was scared to join us) she went and gave him comfort and took him on the slide with her, which was super nice so thank you (sorry we didn't get her name). The park has plenty of changing rooms and toilets. As well as a cafe inside reception and one in the water park. Good prices to may I add. Plenty of lifeguards (which you expect) but the presence of a lot of them made you feel extra safe. The park was busy as expected buy it didn't feel over crowded or hassle and bustle. The waterpark is a must when visiting Blackpool, there is so much fun for the whole family, and 3 hours is a long time when your in there. Thank you for great memories we have made with my family.

It's ok, it's clean, We had good fun, but it is not any better than similar places around. The "longest slide in UK" sounds good in adverts and on a website but it is nothing really special. Kids was happy anyway 😊😉

I haven’t had this much fun in a long while! Celebrated my daughter’s birthday here and I must tell you that we parents had more fun than the kids😅 I loved the ambience, lots of flumes and slides to keep everyone happy! There’s lots to do and no single dull moment. We will definitely be going back🤩 My daughter had a tiny cut and it was nice to know we could go to the first aid stand to get her cut treated and a plaster applied, that was amazing. I enjoyed the food as well.

It's a good places to go but not well catered for kids under 1.1metres and my son is 5yrs old. Yet at alton towers in that water park he was allowed to go in rubber ring rides with me. So if you have small kids no point going in just yet.

Good place to have some fun. Not many rides,only around 6 or 7 for adults So don’t expect much. I would say its good for families to enjoy together. Each session is 3 hours only

Booked it online we had a great time niece loved it. Some rides they wouldn’t let her on due to being unable to be a strong swimmer. But let her on others so not really sure what the difference is as the other one was a bigger slide. Food was ok but wouldn’t rush back to get anything if we visit again. The whole process was easy though

Very busy yet very nice. There are rides which I haven’t been anywhere else in UK. It does get busy but booking the last couple time slots will help you get better and quicker access to rides. My children loved it. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth a first visit.

You have to buy your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment. If you are in a position to be there for 9am, please do, as there were literally no queues for the rides. By 11am the place was packed and when we left just after 12pm the enormous car par was full. The pool area and changing facilities were clean, which is always a bounus in places like this. 3h slot is just right and should allow you to try all the slides and rides. Cafe at the pool area is reasonably priced and has anything from chips, burgers to jacket potatoes. Temperature inside was just right, allowing you to have a snack or drink without feeling cold. It was our second visit, definitely worth driving 1.5h, and I have no doubt we will be back soon again. Staff was polite and welcoming.

A big waterpark in Blackpool, claims to be the biggest indoor waterpark in England according to their website. The best thing is the size of the biggest pool, which is also attached to a long loop with rapids. There are many water rides, amongst them I would prefer the Master Blaster being the best, it's jet power so the ride goes up and down. I have been to plenty of waterparks in England, gaining a park by park perspective, I can say this is possibly more affordable.

Great swimming baths we don't mind travelling to come here as its always a great day out. 3 hour sessions which is perfect too, some of the slides are a bit bumpy and I almost got whiplash from 🤣 but apart from that it's a great baths for all ages

Me and my two boys have been wanting to come here for ages. Its awesome! The queues can be a bit ling and the 3hr time limit goes by in the blink of an eye, so plan what you want to go on in advance, but thoroughly recommend it. Something for all ages

I went as a spectator with my husband and our 2 sons 9 and 2. I was sat watching the boys having a fantastic time, the place has plenty of changing facilities, there are life jackets at the side as well which we weren’t aware off, the cafe had a good choice of food, there were staff designated in every corner who were friendly and helpful, my 9 year old said he felt safe with so many staff around which is the main thing, we booked in early afternoon so it wasn’t that busy. As we were leaving in the afternoon it did get very busy, however this was during school holidays so its always going to be a lot more busier. Overall we all enjoyed it even as a spectator I enjoyed watching my children have a wonderful time. Thank you.

Loved it though I am not that adventurous plus i have a phobia for heights so i didn't go on the tall rides. But adults can channel their inner child here. It was fun.

I last visited this place 25+ years ago. Memory fuzzy, but feels very similar to then: which isn't a terrible thing in this case. Kids in my family seemed to enjoy it as did I. Only disappointment was the wave machine. Ran infrequently and for very short bursts. Shame it no longer actually looks like a sandcastle, as the yellow sandy exterior has been replaced by yet another garish casino.

Five stars. Great Slides and Rides. Recommend the aztec slide other rides are great. The Chips 7.5/10. The chicken 7/10. I nearly died on the salad but 7.5/10. Hot dog is 5/10 The sausage is built like a triangle. Normal burger 6.5/10 Cheeseburger 7/10

Staff usually go extra mile here the only issues we had was using the queue assistance wristband where we was ignored by staff member on sidewinder for a long time then they switched staff and next staff member did same I had to ask if we are in right place before been told to wait a couple more inflatables. We also had issue with been given the wrong colour time wristband on arrival but staff at first aid swapped them over. Rest of staff was perfect

Repeat visit with the family to this famous waterpark. Managed to park in the car park, but at £9, enough time to cover a typical swim session, it's an extra cost to the relatively high ticket price per head. Other parking is available nearby at cheaper rates but with a walk or tram ride. Our little ones enjoyed the wave pool, smaller slides and lazy river. The older ones enjoyed the adrenaline feature tube rides, too. The changing areas are looking a bit tired but remain functional. The electronic wrist band operated lockers work well. There's a fast food cafe with seating and a vip area around the pool area as an option.

Really great place for kids and adult fun. Would definitely recommend when going to Blackpool, one of the best indoor water parks in the country.

The only fault I have was information. I'm deaf and disabled i was shown to disabled chaging room then explained to after I took aids to my locker, so I couldn't hear what was said. I made my way into the park after 30 I came back as I asked for hottub/Jacuzzi told it would cost an extra 7. I made my way to the little shop as told to buy spa purple band. To then make my way around the spa to reach end no hot tub asked again to then be told that's a completely separate experience. As I disabled guests, this was what I was looking forward to heat and bubbles. Told it was a vip I asked how I pay for that wasn't available should be booked online. But I don't think all that was very clear marked or I would have purchased that package. Other than that it was great

Sea Life is a very interesting tour. You get to see different types of fish in their marine environment. Some are bigger (or smaller) than previously thought. There are guides to explain what you are seeing and even pantomime guests to take pictures with. All in all, it was a pretty wonderfully family attraction

Amazing day out!! Love the feed talk by Charlotte who had amazing knowledge of the animals and was very friendly and bubbly. Lovely mixture of sea life animals from tiny fish to sharks 🐟🐠🦈

Thoroughly enjoyed it! We loved everything we saw and 8 month old daughter loved all the fish and lights. Also massive shout out to Kyle who did our shark talk for taking the time to sit with my sister-in-law and talk through shark fish with her, giving her a chance to look through them and took his time with her while she was very excited!

An incredibly relaxing and informational experience! I could easily spend all day watching the various fish exhibits throughout the attraction. A great day out for families and adults alike! The staff are friendly, the sections are kept clean and the pricing is definitely good value.

First time here! Polite staff in the entrance and we where told where to go etc which was nice! Lots of things to look at there and the tanks look well kept indeed! Lots of information plates to read and keep you active as you wander around so that was a nice touch! Loved the giant tank with phoenix the turtle that was amazing! Well done folks!

Wow! This was much better than I was expecting. It's massive I thought this would be tiny but apparently there is a million gallons of water in here. The selection of fish is very varied as are the environments.

A great day out, can be a bit tight in some areas if you have a wheelchair but other than we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots 9f different sea creatures that the kids will love.

Really enjoyed it but would only go as part of the package deal with another attraction, they also need to spell check their signage as treasure was spelt wrong on every single sign also the stingray sticker was a bit confusing but they don't take anything away from what you're really there for the the variety on show was great and the talk at the end was really good I just wish I could remember her name to give her the credit she deserves

Nice place to visit while in Blackpool. Its not massive but its big enough to spend an hour or 2 looking around. They have staff giving talks about the creatures, Kyle did a great job doing our talk. I definitely recommend booking before you go, we didn't and had to buy our tickets and then come back a few hours later at the next available time slot. Its also cashless so you need a bank card to get in, if you haven't booked online, and to buy photos and gifts from the gift shop etc

Great environment for kids. Beautiful things to see but Receptionist ruin the whole experience after lovely sight seeing. Receptionist at the picture print out point is awful at delivering good customer service. She is absolutely clueless of what good customer service entails. 😔

Me and my boyfriend visited during our holiday in Blackpool, we didn’t know what to except being adults however we had a lovely time! It is more children orientated however we still had an amazing time, it only took us about an hour and half to get around the whole place so would recommend doing the morning and making other plans in the afternoon

Amazing got tickets as a bundle pack with tower etc ( make sure to check time on the ticket as you only get to a certain time). Had a look around and met the amazingly lovely staff. They were very informative and the animals were all clean and well looked after. Had a lovely shark, turtle and sting ray talk off of Kyle and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing day out. My shark obsessed partner had the time of his life. Even though part of it was down for maintenance there was still loads to look at, the tunnels and viewing areas for the shark tanks were amazing. We even got a great view of Pheonix the turtle which I loved. Will be returning.

It had been great to see the wide variety of ocean animals, from all kinds of fish, seahorse, the green turtle to the gorgeous, fast swimmers: sharks. Didn't have to wait for too long at the queue to purchase the entry tickets, it was a weekday going there, not too crowded, there are clear signs visitors can follow for a suggested route, so that going through the amazing tour around the aquarium would be even smoother in terms of better time management.

Lovely place to visit! We used National Lottery tickets so it was half price. We only spent an hour in the centre so it would have been pricey for us full price

A little expensive for the size of the ‘attraction.’ We struggled to make it last more than an hour, although the kids did enjoy it. Personally, I’d recommend Blackpool Zoo over the Sea Life Centre for a full day out. 👍🏼

Loved it. Amazing place. 3 children loved it. Especially the pop up tank where the children can go inside to view the fish. And the fact you could touch the star fish and crabs in the first rock pool on arrival. Big place. Pram accessible. And has a cafe too.

Amazing visit. Wasn't too busu, staff was both knowledgeable and attentive. The shark talk was exciting and fun. Fish are beautiful and it's very informative. Took us around an hour and a half but if you to read everything properly you can be there for 2 hours easily.

Really disappointed after visiting on Saturday morning. The reception team weren't particularly welcoming and it seemed to be an inconvenience for us to be there. We paid £82 for tickets and without rushing, we saw everything in just 45 minutes. Sure it's colourful and there are some interesting exhibits but such a quick visit is very disappointing for the cost of the ticket. The staff dotted around seemed passionate and knowledgeable, it's just a shame there isn't really a lot to keep you engaged.

The kids loved it. The staff were super helpful and nice. The ocean view tank presentation at the end was really good. Shout out to the presenters (Kyle) and helpers working today.

Brilliant as ever. Really well set out. The shark tank Is amazing with the shark tunnel too which brings you face to face with sharks, turtles and stung rays. Would highly recommend a visit. Booked online 2 attractions for 30 quid. Really quick and easy entering

Such a lovely aquarium/sea life centre. Lots of different fishes and water creatures to look at and explore. Friendly staff that you can see care and look after all the fishes/water creatures very well. I would advise booking online before hand as tickets are a bit more cheaper then if you go straight there and get a ticket. Price is quite high but is worth it. Great for kids and big kids😁. Would definitely recommend coming here

Really great little aquarium. Lots to see and staff always around to tell you stories and facts about what your looking at. The shark tunnel is amazing. If you have blue light card really good savings on entry 👍

We really enjoyed our trip around sea life. We took our 1 year old, she’s too young to really know what was going on, but it’s a great sensory experience for babies, lots of colours. It’s a perfect place to go on a wet, winter day when you need an indoor activity, that’s not to say you can’t enjoy it all year round. Prices in the cafe and gift shop are expensive, but you kind of expect that nowadays so go prepared with some drinks and snacks.

Disappointed... As it looked like It was just advertised and was cancelled a long time ago or council was not really prepared for it... It was cancelled due to the strong winds but the drone was flying on the sky and high pillar entertainment was continued to work... Possibly strong winds have impact only to the fireworks 🎆. And they just informed people in the last half an hour. (Although on Facebook event page was mentioned 3-4 hours earlier) I liked the atmosphere, the transformation of the city and seafront area but, at least they could do some fireworks.

Loved it as a child, didn’t feel as up to what it was as a child, but still great to enjoy. Best to drive the full length of over 6 miles, but we were using public transport. Tram was £16.60 for a family pass for 24 hours, so can be used for this and other stuff. We walked from the northern end where their are many more lights and back towards the tower. Once you get near the tower it’s busy and lots more going on

Went yesterday which was a bit quieter than normal. But I like it like that, bein able to walk around not bumping into everyone. The fair was still open in front of the tower, and some of the markets from Xmas. Some of the main arcades open, but it is out of season.

AMAZING! everytime. Absolutely love going up to see the illuminations. Even better this year as they've been extended. Was so lovely to see Blackpool so busy. It felt so normal seeing everyone out and about so late into the evening.

My first time to the illuminations and love them especially the character ones and the tableau near Bispham. It was great to see all the character illuminations, I especially enjoyed Sooty, Nickelodeon, Basil Brush, Noddy and Postman ones. The illuminations are a fantastic light show which everyone should try to see

Don't let the bitter winds put you off. The illuminations are a nice family experience. We got a return family ticket on the tram so we could see all the lights without freezing. There is a market area near the tower with rides and usual festive shops. The period between Christmas and New year is quieter than normal and great if you have children with additional sensory requirements.

Good to visit 'Blackpool lights' as an adult, it brings back so many memories of seeing them as a kid. Only now I realise just how busy it is both on for pedestrians and for cars with the road being jam packed. The lights didn't seem to all come on at once with the ones near the Southpier and Northpier coming on and then all the ones in the middle afterwards. It's still good to go and see them though, just be prepared to deal with the crowds!

I visited Blackpool illumination with my family on a very cold night, boy, it was freezing cold, so I couldn’t take more photos. I suggest visiting on warmer nights. The park has loads of stuff and rides for kids, and plenty hot food on site. There is also an arcade on the way to the park. Overall for for me it’s okay, but I guess there might plenty more stuff available during summer.

Brilliant place for seeing wonderful lights l have noticed there is a lot of area's that are really run down I wholeheartedly recommend the premier Inn north pier for a wonderful stay

Blackpool Illuminations are fantastic especially as it's free. And on for a long time. They are definitely worth a visit if you like Illuminations plus with The Blackpool Tower lit up and The Christmas event opposite The Tower. It is definitely worth visiting Blackpool

Not being the lights for many years and by the looks of it they hadn't changed since then , lots of lights were only half working and very repetitive , but the little Xmas market was nice with a few kids rides and the impressive big swing ride if your brave enough . Unfortunately the weather was horrendous so we rushed round a bit but we still managed have a laugh

This is my first time back to Blackpool in a few years. I used to come here as a child to see the lights and now I bring my own child. It's not really changed much over the years and is just as good as I remember. This visit wasn't overly busy either, so I managed to get parked quite quickly and enjoy the day. Christmas by the sea. Little Christmas market, food stalls, few rides for the kids, lights, music, great atmosphere. Cold, but it's December and by the sea, so take a coat. Extending the illuminations to the new year is a no brainier for me. If you like Blackpool, get along, if not don't bother.

We really enjoyed the Illuminations, will definitely visit again. We drove from one end to the other so we would see all the lights, which took about 30 minutes as it was very busy. We also walked along some of the seafront to get photos, if you go to the tower they have a DJ playing music so you can have a little dance. The lights go off 10pm.

Not been to the illuminations since a child, was able to come back and enjoy with my son. It was so good, we loved it. Will definitely be back again next year.

It was a great time to be in Blackpool as there is so much going on. There are Christmas illuminations with the Christmas market and fun fare. The Strictly Come Dancing cast was at the Blackpool Ballroom and a weekend of Elivs competition in Viva venue. Blackpool is fantastic in the summer also.

I would say i would have liked the ride more if there was a bit more of a safety equipped into it, as it is a massssive drop. None the less a good coaster, massive and get to see the whole theme park.

My experience on The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach was extremely disappointing and became the worst ride experience I've had. The ride itself appeared to be quite old and unstable, which was concerning considering the speed and height it reached. The cabin or seating arrangement seemed inadequate to handle such intense conditions. As I rode, I felt extremely uncomfortable and feared for my safety. It was a disheartening experience that truly ruined my day, leaving me with a negative impression. I strongly discourage anyone from attempting this ride based on my personal experience.

The Bland One. Looks super impressive from the ground but after the first drop the rest of the ride is like a train with gentle gradients and curves. I don't understand the hype because it's the most disappointing rollercoaster I've ever ridden in my life. The Big Dipper is still the best ride in the park.

Great ride, highly recommended if your in the area, alot more rickety than I remember though. Speedy passes were used defo worth it for going on a bank holiday weekend, got on way more rides than would have been possible without

Great theme park is Blackpool Pleasure beach in Blackpool and The Big One Rollercoaster is one of the best great rides of the park and very thrilling and all ages seem to like it. 😎

The best ride in the UK, George bottled it and bungle was to big for the seat.... Silly bungle!🤭

This review is for those who like their coasters. I chickened out of riding it when I was a child. I’m a bit of a coaster nerd now with almost no fear of them and have been raring to go again. Finally did it on my recent visit and went on three times. Yes it’s getting old and is a bit bumpy in places and the compressions at the bottom of the dips can be brutal. I had heard the ride was tame after the first drop, not every moment is super thrilling, but the ride is still enjoyable. The first drop though…if the train hit a braking run at the base and returned to the station…. the ride would still be worth it. I sat on the back row in the left seat anticipating this would give me the most intense drop. Being so far behind the centre of the train, it would already be accelerating down before I crested the lift hill. I wasn’t wrong. I couldn’t really process the sensations as I was whipped over the top, but it was fast and intense and I felt genuine fear on a rollercoaster for the first time in years. Riding it in strong rain is definitely worth trying, yes it hurts, but it’s quite the experience. If you want to enjoy the views, sit right at the front which I managed to do just before it closed. You get a lot of time to admire them at the top of the lift hill as the middle of the train catches up. Also if you’re not a massive thrill seeker this will take the sting out of the tail of the drop The head chopper elements really do leave you doubting if you’re hands will still be attached if you leave them on the air. Maybe familiarity breeds contempt and the Big One is underrated these days, but I think it’s still a solid ride, with the first drop when seated at the back of the train being one of the most fantastic coaster experiences I’ve ever had. If you want to enjoy the views sit near the front. But for those who love it, sit at the back left!

Wow, what a disappointment! The Big One should be renamed The Big Letdown! We queued from 9:35am as we got into the park early and wanted to be as near to the top of the queue as possible for ride opening. Testing was ongoing so it looked good. Icon was testing next door and we could see full trains of riders running around by 10:10am. But not The Big One. A train stopped on the lift hill and was left there for ages, then it moved and more test trains with staff on board ran the course then another empty train was parked on the lift hill. This was Tuesday 19th July, the hottest day EVER in the UK and we were left queueing until 11:05am with no shade and no announcements by the team to tell us what was happening. Major black mark to the park for that. They clearly don't care about their guests at all, suffering in that blistering heat. When we finally got to ride we got a midtrain row and it was so BLAND. Whilst it was fast, there was no airtime whatsoever and it was rickety and rough. What a disappointment!! Taller doesn't mean better, and The Big One is truly The Big Letdown.

I went on this 2 times and still wasn't satisfied 😂, it was soo much fun. My favorite rides are the big one, icon, revolution, valhalla, infusion, avalanche and grand national.

A brilliant experience for my wife and daughter... Not myself 😵‍💫 I didn't ride. They both rode it in the rain with no waiting time at all. Bags and other personal items can be left at their own risk (plenty of cameras) as you get onto the ride. It was raining and at speed freezing faces, and you can't wear a poncho on the ride. However, they loved it and went back on a second time. Booking tickets in advance for this fair includes the cost of this ride, and buying online is cheaper.

Beautiful historic building with amazing bar that feels like you are inside an old sailing galleon. Very poor signage outside and in. It isn't clear that the Opera House Theatre is situated inside the Winter Gardens complex, nor were we aware that there were eating places and more than one bar inside. Many people were struggling to find the Opera House entrance even inside the building. But apart from the poor information and signage, it was gorgeous. Theatre very impressive.

Visited October 22 for a dance competition. When I walked in to this venue I was very impressed with this beautiful old interesting building. The Empress Ballroom was stunning. The ceiling is a thing of beauty. It made a fantastic venue for the young people attending this event. It was good to see that the ceiling is in the process of repair to fix some of the plaster work but this did not take away the atmosphere of this facility. I hope funding is available to allow the beauty of this great building to keep shining for future users. I hope to return in the future and see the final finished ceiling. The building has lots of rooms, cafe, snack bar, bars and halls. Venue has lots of places to stay within walking distance and Blackpool Tower and beach are nearby.

The Winter Gardens is an amazing building. The Opera house is a gorgeous theatre. The staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. It has a gorgeous bar, set like a galleon. If you get chance to do a tour of the winter gardens I highly recommend it. They have amazing shows there too.

Went to see The Magic of the Beatles. Absolutely fantastic show. Great theatre that looks and feels historic (because it is!). Only disappointment was the rip off prices for drinks. Paid £6 for a beer and expected a pint but ended up with a small multipack sized bottle.

Wonderful just to walk inside and look at the renovations done . It's bright and airy. Lovely coffee and drinks bar, Messeni Cafe. Had a lovely preshow meal in Empress Grill. Wonderful food, staff very helpful. Always something on as The European Dance Champions is on this weekend. Toilets unfortunately areal upstairs, or downstairs. But there is a disabled one. Wonderful building for conferences, or similar. Beautiful Empress Ballroom and Opera House is an amazing theatre.

Great show. Wonderful staff who went out of their way to assist my disabled daughter, both entering and leaving the theatre. It just put the cherry on top of the icing on was a thoroughly enjoyable day. I will definitely be going there again. Sooner rather than later I hope.

Went to watch Six the musical here and it was absolutley amazing. The food and drink are reasonably priced, they offer deals on snacks and can pay cash or card. Staff were very friendly and helpful, was very clean and well looked after. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Great time at Rebellion festival here. Plenty of room with all the stages and bars set up. Facilities were spot on too.

I’ve visited Winter Gardens over the past 15 years regularly for dance competitions. Firstly with my now wife in her early teens to our children on the Ballroom. Recently refurbished in recent years; which was much needed but completed to a high standard. Impressive venue with a multi purpose venue. Lots of local parking available within a short distance. It’s a shame to see after all of this investment in April 22 that the surrounding area has been hit but the effects of the COVID shutdown massively.

What an amazing place.The walk from the beach to the main doors is amazing,every step exciting.If you've never been you will be surprised by the size of the building,the famous statue,the huge galleon bar,the restaurants and of course the opera House.You don't have to venture far from here to have a great time.If your here to see a show you will love it. The theatre is massive, seats are quite steep and it's a long way up to the balcony.You need to be pretty fit.Cant wait to go back.

Had a great time at the womans world matchplay. Well organized event. All the staff (PDC and venue) were welcoming and very helpful. Bar prices were a little expensive but they are going to be at a place like this. As I don't drink alcohol I was pleasantly surprised that they had a 0% beer available which I thoroughly enjoyed while watching an afternoon of darts. Keep up the good work and thanks for having us.

Stunning weekend at the British Country Festival, bands were amazing and the event organisers did such a perfect job of maintaining thus beautiful venue in pristine condition each day. Could not have been happier if I tried. Kudos to all involved ... see you next year!!

What a fabulous venue the Winter Gardens is . We attended the Wigan Casino 50th Anniversary Northern Soul Weekender there and it was just fantastic. It's a wonderful building and we just loved wandering around between every Soul music filled room . What a place ,we just loved it . Keep the faith ,Blackpool .🥰💕🥰

Winter Gardens looks very shabby on the outside, and almost derelict however, once you step inside, it is a remarkable masterpiece of craftsmanship! It is absolutely stunning, we went to the Empress Ballroom and it is just a work of art. Beautiful. Marc Almond from SoftCel was absolutely incredible 100% recommend going to see a show there, what better place to visit than Blackpool

I love winter gardens, there are a few bars to choose from for a drink away from the cold weather outside! The main one has a classy feel to it and serves popular cocktails which were lovely! The staff in this bar were very friendly too. We then went into the theatre and had no complaints. The value for money visiting this theatre as opposed to Manchester/London is amazing.

Lovely place, but all the bars were shut by 9.15pm :-O At a show that didn't finish until 10pm but couldn't get a drink even though we paid £36 each for the show! Due back in January, so will take a flask to top us up when the bar shuts :-)

We had a fantastic night watching Diversity perform at the Winter Gardens. It really was a night to remember!! We arrived early to allow time to get a drink from the bar and find our allocated seats, sadly, once seated there isn’t anywhere for you to put your drink/snacks you have to hold it throughout. Very little leg room, forever up and down to allow people from your row to get in and out. The toilet situation was chaos - constant queue on steep stairs (the stairs are not wide enough to stand a wait whilst people are trying to come down)

Excellent. We had a sandwich and pot of tea in the Empress cafe. £12 for two which isn't so bad. The cafe is all nice and nostalgic.

What a beautiful historic venue. The floors are all granite, there's gorgeous Tiffany style lights. There are eating places. Plenty of accessible toilets. The theatre which is the Opera house where all sorts of events take place. The capacity is 2,800. There is a lift to all floors but there are also lots of stairs and the Balcony where my seat was is very high, a little daunting for people who are afraid of heights , that said my experience was fantastic.

The fish and chips where amazing but the lady who served us was really rude and didn’t even smile manners cost nothing

If it's raining, Coral Island is a godsend..... Arrange a meeting point for everyone if you get separated.... This place is HUGE!!

Great place to take the children. They’ve got loads of amusements to play. Loads of two pence machines and lots of little prizes to win in them. Lots of change machines dotted around. You have to park round the back in the big car parks. It’s literally at the back of the building so really handy. Also your just across the road from the beach!

Coral Island has a good selection of choice in video games, slots and grabbers with dedicated areas for adult gambling. It's bright, nicely set out, good change dispensing facilities and generally clean. As with most arcades these days all the family machines pay out in tickets, for me this has killed the magic of arcades. Great to pass an hour with children. Toilets available, food served, wheelchair accessible, parking near by.

Great arcade and fun amusements, quite a few machines were out of order and was crazy busy but was as expected. Lost a quid underneath the skee ball machine so if you find it enjoy and make sure you win something with it 😂

Literally the only arcade we visit when we come up to Blackpool. Although this time of year, it's so crazy packed that it's quite impossible to walk around/through there... We had plenty of fun in here, and there was something for every member of the family. We really lost track of time in there. We weren't going to bother with the tickets for prizes thing, because usually the machines done spit out that many, but we were mainly on the 2p machines and it was, so we had a great time and got lots from the gift shop which was incredibly exciting for my little girls first time here.

Brilliant arcade with great food. Vegan options are good, as are the rides. Food deals are good for families with kids, and the ticket counter is reasonably priced. Arcade machines and claw machines pay out pretty well, compared to many other local places. Ghost train is great fun, as is the Derby.

This place is mad and I love it. Visited for the first time on the 3rd of july and was in there for hours every day until we left. I think we spent about £60 on the 2p machines to win tickets and keyrings. Ended up with enough tickets for a bear, mug, pen and some rock 😂 I was also really happy to find a Zoltar machine as I've always wanted to see one. I will be desperately waiting to get back here asap

Brilliant, best indoor arcade I've ever been in. Restaurants in there . My son loves the small pirate ship ride that goes above and around the arcade .

Coral Island has always been a staple if a visit to Blackpool, and it's barely changed over the years. Perfect for families & people wanting to while away a couple of hours of fun. I even won £14.50 in the mini casino they have going there, which was a bonus. The rides weren't open, but it was a Monday afternoon, such as life. Great place.

Best arcade in Blackpool! My son loved the boat ride that went around above the arcade, it was £2 per person but the queue was quite long as there didn't seem to be many boats going around. We sat in the Buccaneer family bar and had a drink while the kids played in the arcade. The bar is themed brilliantly and is spotlessly clean.

Its not a trip too Blackpool without a flutter on the Racing camels, dinner at the buccaneer, a whizz round on the Pirate ships then cashing in a 1000 tickets for a pen. Always great too entertain everyone.

It's a brilliant place to visit I was there over Christmas and New year definitely eat at Peggy's I had so much fun staff helpful friendly knowledgeable

Had a lovely time here. My son loves going on the 2p machines, wasn't any gift to play for tho, like there is usually. Maybe bad timing so hopefully in summer when we come back. Food was lovely but small portion for children which had to go the chippy to get extra food as we walked back to our hotel.

Plenty to do, plenty to see. You’ll end up spending more than you planned in both time and cash! There’s lots of things to do: over 18s, under 5s, cafes, restaurant, bar, casino it’s all there. Not forgetting the Arabian derby. The staff that I came across were all really friendly and attentive and seemed to enjoy doing what they were doing which is always a bonus. The staff in the over 18 section are always on hand to deliver free drinks too! (Non alcoholic!) If you’re at a loss and need to find something to do then coral island will probably be for you!

Unfortunately these places are almost entirely lost to gambling machines so lack the wonder I remember from my childhood. Still, killed some zombies here - which was nice. Unlike many places on the strip, their carpets at least look like they've been cleaned in the past 5 years so that's reason enough to visit above some of the other venues.

Great place to come with a mixture of everything for all ages. Its absolutely huge inside and has everything from 2p pushers,games to win tickets,monorail ride,dance machines and so much more. Plenty of places inside to get food and drinks. We spent the whole day pretty much as weather was bad when we came so was a great place with so much to do.

Love Blackpool, stayed in lovely b&b for 1 night while we attended pier jam (Allendale in Albert road ) 30/07/22. However pier jam not so much No disabled toilets with running water (I had emailed in advance to ask if there were any disabled toilets, and was told yes there would be) No running water No hand sanitizer Toilets FULL of empty drug containers No real searches Sniffer dogs were FAKE They profiled people I need to carry anti sickness meds with me, the security cleared them without even looking in the box or actually at the tablets I could of carried all sorts in ! Drinks & food ques weren’t too bad to be fair, couple be better, considering they are aware of how many will be attending, surely the more staff you put on the more drinks/food you’ll sell 🤷‍♀️ NOT A festival of any sorts, no festival vibe, no stalls, no extras NO WRISTBANDS, it’s not a festival without wristbands I’m aware it’s not a seated event however, being as it’s run from 2pm-11pm & once your in you can’t leave, a small dry seating area would of being lovely just for half hour while we caught our breath, had something to eat and the carried on, not asking for tables and chairs, I’d cop a squat if the floor was dry ! VIP is what’s that ???? We were well and truly RIPPED OFF now we still don’t know the real reason why we were SOLD vip,at an extra cost, only to find when we arrived, there was NO VIP, I got 3 different answers of members of staff 1) VIP was last night (totally different event, that was called hellfire or something, different acts etc) we didn’t have tickets for the Friday only the Saturday. 2) VIP had to be cancelled ! ( they gave no reason why it was cancelled and we never received any form on communication from #pierjam or skiddle regarding any cancellations) 3) “O did you get done by the VIP SCAM?” Now I honestly have no idea if any of those excuse are actually real reasons or whether there is another ? Because lots of attendees have asked the same question “Why no VIP?” And as of today #pierjam nor #skiddle have not given any reason why we paid extra for VIP for did not receive it !! Would love any answer to this please I eventually got to front of stage, 1 row of young ladies in front of me, my issue here is…. There was a bit of scuffling and bullying and scrapping up the front, but there wasn’t 1 security guard in front of the railings !! If anyone had been taken ill or passed out, the only person who would see would be the artist on the stage and his crew!!! Disgusting !!!!! Prices of drinks were as to be expected so can’t complain about that. £4 for a big hotdog was great value (independent trader) My main concerns for any future #pierjam events is A) no disabled facilities B) no running water or hand sanitizer C) VIP SCAM- paid for something we didn’t receive D) you call THAT security ? Seriously ? Seriously Blackpool council you are part blame for this, you need to make sure your letting decent event organisers onto your grounds. You need to go check that what they say will be there is actually there You need to go and make sure it has basic human needs met !! No pier jam for me again !! Blackpool 5* #pierjam nil points 👎

The comedy carpet was lovely especially during the illuminations. Not as busy as you’d expect of an evening either, though I am told Saturdays are spectacularly busy. Do watch out for pick pockets as they are clearly around and of course there are plenty of stands waiting to take your money on the piers every evening! The view from each pier is stunning regardless of weather, always worth a walk down each!!!

Comedy carpet just opposite the Blackpool Tower the A to Z of Comedy legends over past 100 years +. Names at each side of the carpet and in centre peace have various catchphrases from the comedians to Comedy shows. Best go over and see it yourself. Plus, if going into up in the tower can see it in view of glass floor.

When visiting take the opportunity to visit this location, it makes for a great photo backdrop for some fun photo’s.

Part of the furniture of the Promenade now, this is an amazing piece of artwork, plus the lightpool shows during the illuminations and the Christmas by the Sea event taking place around the carpet are superb too.

Well worth a visit, not too busy.

We visit here regularly and it's a wonderful park. So much to see and do. The play area is huge and suitable for all ages and abilities. There is even a swing for disabled children. The sand pit there is also great for children. The gardens are very well maintained and the flower displays glorious. The cafe is grand and the menu is varied. Our favourite area is the lake itself. On last count we spotted 53 swans! Amazing after what happened there with bird flu. Obviously very happy birds. If you follow their page on Facebook you will be able to see all the wonderful events they have on in the park. There is something for everyone, from live music to book clubs and dog walking groups. In the school holidays this is ramped up to the max for the children and we enjoyed a few of the events such as a lovely little circus skills session a few days ago.

Stanley Park is a great place to go and visit. Lovely little tea room with some original features within it. Very friendly staff. Has a good selection of drinks and food. It has a car park close by and accessible toilets. There is a play ground, lake garden's where you are able to see wildlife and many different varieties of plants and flowers. It is for all abilities and ages. Dog friendly.

my wife and I and two friends had a day out at Stanley Park . I must say what a stunning place this is we was a bit out of season as the beautiful flowers had not come up yet Nor was the boating lake open . Nevertheless we had a lovely walk round in the midday sunshine. Ideal to take a picnic just to sit on the grass and take in the view. The Only thing letting Stanley Park Down was the disgusting state of the public toilets. very little within the way of toilet roll . No hand soap in the dispensers . And the baby changing area had cigarette tobacco all over it . The floor & wall tiles were disgusting. This area of the park is just neglected and needs shutting down for a deep clean. But the Park itself is well worth a visit. If you are in Blackpool itself you will need to drive or get a taxi as it is a bit out the way

Lovely public park outside of Blackpool city centre (It's 1.5mile walk from the North Pier area), en route to the zoo. Great place to unwind along the banks of several (artificially created) lakes. There's café right in the centre of the park which offers the usual amenities, and with the help of Google Maps you're in no danger of loosing your way. One of the prettier places in town.

Excellent park, caters for everyone. Toilets could do with upgrading as they were very poor indeed but I guess like all public parks money is tight so something has to give. We sat in the cafe area outside as it was a warm day and enjoyed that very British thing a pot of tea and a scone. We liked the pedalos despite the fact that it leaked in. There was a substantial children's play area and some well tended gardens. The bedding was just going in when we visited. There seemed to be a bit of trouble with parking as it wasn't clearly signposted. I'd go again as the dogs enjoyed sniffing around.

Decided to spend an afternoon here with my two teenage boys in an attempt to find something different from Blackpool fodder. Parked in the leisure centre to charge the car during the afternoon. There was a classic car show in the park which was lovely to see some cracking cars which took me back to my youth when you could actually work on the engines rather than plugging in to a computer! There was a banjo group playing and they were great - first for me hearing something like this - George Formby tribute band I think?? Had lunch in the cafe which was very tasty - burger and lasagne!

Stanley Park is beautiful. The people who keep the grounds do an excellent job. My grandboy LOVES the play park. I played on the same spot 44 years ago! However it’s far more modern now. The grounds are beautiful. In spring and summer we like to go to the park. Walk around and have lunch in the cafe. You can feed the ducks on the lake, take the mini train on a small ride. Play crazy golf or just sit and take in the green grass and beautiful flowers.

Good ..not been there since I was a kid decades ago..negative first ..can you not get some of the older kids adventure stuff fixed? Sick of seeing it taped off with barriers with no apparent reason why and the zip wire. Having said that..Great lovely hostess of cafe lakeside ..Great hot chocolate..open 7 days..loads of swans ..wildlife / saw a heron ...the main cafe in the old building has a fab menu and seats outside..toilets free and open in the car park.. superb bmx track open and unused and free and good skateboard park ....people kayaking ...cycling..really good and massive ...crazy golf..picnic areas..

Awesome park with plenty of things to do, the skate park is amazing and my son loved it, its kept nice and clean and the lads in there do a good job maintaining it. The park itself is huge, the cafe is also very nice, you could spend a day here and there is plenty of space for a picnic or to play all types of sports. Cant wait to visit Blackpool again to visit here. 😍 well recommend this park, you will not be disappointed.

Who would have thought that Blackpool had more to offer than towers & rollercoasters? Stanley Park is a gem.... And by no means a little one.... It is vast! We parked on East Park Road which was the entrance by the big lake. This seems split into 2,one part for wildlife conservation and the other for public and boats. There are lovely fountains and also a bandstand looking structure that obviously hosts shows of some kind. Then you carry on further to the Italian garden and the impressive Lion tower that has tennis courts and an athletics track and little grandstand next to it. Such a lovely park to enjoy and walk around. There is much more to see and if we had time we would have stayed longer.

One of the best park in the UK! Have a nice lake with Swans, turtles, fishes. Also a victorian cafe very nice.

We parked inside Stanley Park carpark via the West Park Drive entry. There's a wide choice of walks and activities here still in winter. Cafe, inside and outside seats. Gardens are tranquil. There is plenty of seating everywhere. The lake is full of birds. Many birds are to be seen around, including parakeets now. Looks great for dog walkers seen here. Playground. There's access to lots of sports areas. The toilets are open too. Everywhere is clean and very tidy. Great for disabled.

Lovely park in Blackpool, there is a really nice cafe in the park, highly recommend a visit, had several visits there now and a lot of times and end up walking around the park

Went for a walk around the park, loved the boating lake and beautiful autumn colours. Some areas needed a little attention such as the bowling area but otherwise well kept and tidy.

Our beautiful Stanley Park is perfect for the whole family . Parking with disabled bays, toilets , Art deco Cafe, Visitors Centre bandstand, and a wide variety of fun activities . Plenty of Benches to sit, rest, and enjoy the beautiful flower beds and vast variety of trees . It's truly a beautiful place to visit all year round 💜

Huge park, lots of green fields to play and have a picnic in. Tennis courts, football pitch, bowling green, basketball nets, play park, skateboard ramps, ice-cream shop and bouncing castle. Great afternoon out, only problem was we couldn't find any public toilets anywhere. Other than that it's a lovely clean park with lots to do

Nice views from the central Pier. Ample space for sitting and toilets are available inside the amusement area. Lots of Blackpool souvenirs available for you to choose from to bring back home as a gift for your family and friends. Great place to spend time with kids and family members in the amusements and have a great time at the central pier.

Hadn't been for a while popped down for an hour or 2 while visiting a friend. Central pier is pretty basic and ideal for the smaller kids with little rides priced from mainly £3 using tokens. Lots of games still and food choices, 2 large arcades and few crazy new games. The views are always the best part on a lovely evening

Very quiet! And only a few bits open but can see it being different later in the season. Very clean and love that people have had memorial plaques allowed at the end of the pier

The cuddly toys in the crane grabber arcade games are one of the few giveaways that you haven’t time travelled back to the mid 1970s when you visit this pier. Baby yodas and Clifford the big red dog gaze at you pleadingly, hoping for escape. Don’t look at the carpet. Pure nostalgia- the sounds and feel of an era that just won’t let go. Worth a visit, out of curiosity at the very least.

Went to see the illuminations yesterday. Enjoyed the walk from south to north pier. Sunset was also nice.illuminations will stay on until end of this year. On from 8pm every day. Weather was nice and very busy.

Want to say Amazing, it was really nice fun at central pier. Good place for children as well as for adults also, Lots of amusements are their, along with games lots of rides are also their. It seems beautiful in night Energetic entertainment, it was one of my best trip, love it👌👌👌👌

Love the old Victorian seating the whole way down the pier. Beautiful views as you’d expect. It was busy with the amusements but not that it impacted us. Went for a pint in the pub and it literally was the worst Guinness I’ve ever tasted. Couldn’t finish it. It was tasteless. There was music playing and a guy getting kids up dancing to keep them entertained but it was just too noisy, the floor and tables were sticky so we moved outside and sat on the seating. Much prefer the North Pier.

We had a great time on the central pier. We loved the arcade and the cheesy chips and hotdogs were cheap and really tasty. My son was desperate to play darts and win a cuddly seagull with a chip in its mouth, spent a fortune but it was worth it to see his face when he finally got it. The only downside was the pirate bay family bar, we were looking forward to spending an evening in here but it seemed so was everyone else and we couldn't find an empty table so we gave up.

My parents took me on holidays to Blackpool when I was a child and there was a great long and wide beach but it's now been concreted and concrete stairs going down to the water as there's only beach when the tide is out and unfortunately for my children and grandchildren that was at night time and the concrete stairs down to the water made it very dangerous for the grandchildren to go down to the water. And the streets and hotels are so rundown around Blackpool pleasure beach it resembles an abandoned village. Definitely won't be returning to Blackpool it's not the place it was when I was a child. The Blackpool tower and madam Tussauds and the circus are the only thing that was still worth seeing.

Always great fun to visit. I haven't felt a significant difference between the three piers but that's probably just me. Then again I suppose the available rides and services vary. Nonetheless great fun for families. Just remember to play responsibly.

A great day out in the sun! Bought 70 tickets for 60 quid, and entertained the kids for hours. Topped off with pizza and fries in the captains bar, and had a great time. We'll worth it.

Nice well taken care of place for some fun. It's a brilliant place for families with children the view is certainly nice and there is plenty of entertainment for everyone like the Ferris wheel 🎡is awesome. Strongly recommended for a weekend away from home.

Nice pier with the big wheel ,£5.50 per person when I went in April 24. Very loud music though at the wheel , plenty of rides with a few warning notices at many of them !

Could Central Pier get any better? Don't complain, sure the rides aren't cheap, but come on moaners, It's free entry, unlike The Pleasure Beach. What's wrong with Central Pier. Nothing that a lick of paint and regular in season maintenance couldn't solve. Should I bother going on Central Pier? Absolutely 100% Yes!

Pier staff were really friendly, went when the air show was in and it was pretty busy but never had to wait long in the family bars. Great views from the pier, if not wanting the business of the pleasure beach would recommend quite reasonable for the rides.

Typical Blackpool pier with lovely views of the tower, and on a nice night you'll get a good sunset too.

A true definition of fun, thrill and amusement. A gigantic ride on park that gets adrenaline pumping. Games, merry go rounds, super high speed roller coasters, boat cruise, tower lift, good meals, all sorts of fun games and rides. The place is well situated, very neat and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ticket takes you in and you can use it for all the rides. Safety is paramount as little kids are subjected to height measurement before using certain rides. A true value for the money. Kids love it so much. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and return back some other time. Great fun!

We visited on a Tuesday and could finish riding most of the recommended rides within 3-4 hours. I would recommend trying to book the tickets in advance(little cheap) and also if you’re a uni student to avail 10% student discount. Also, BPB has lot of rides suitable for every age group though the crowd was mostly kids. Moreover, wait time for the popular rides is usually 20-25 min. So, if you visit on weekends maybe the wait could be more. The food court is good too. All in all we enjoyed our time there.
