This castle was incredible! It was huge, there's lots to look at. They have lots of information on shipwrecks as well. Lots of stairs and uneven ground so be prepared for that. The views of the harbor are beautiful too. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Worth the visit castle and underwater are in the same place, so I do recommend to buy the pack of both sites. Took us about 2 hours to see it. Also if you are lucky 🍀 you can see the beautiful peacocks 🦚. Ticket was 30€ per 2 people

You should definitely see this place when you visit bodrum. It takes about 2 hours to finish the whole museum. You will be able to see artifacts from the old ages taken out of ship wracks from bottom of the ocean. And there is a real life skeleton of one of the princesses.

Great staff and well preserved. It's lots of walking and steps. I recommend very good shoes not flip flops like I did. You don't have to climb every part. One of the most beautiful places I've visited. So many cute little cats and beautiful peacocks. There was no wait and the ticket is well worth the price! If you love historical places, you’ll love the Bodrum castle! An insight to an ancient world. Only „negative“ it is definitely not doable for someone that can‘t walk a LOT OF STAIRS and not made for people with needs. Excellent museum and castle worth the time to visit. Entry is on the western side of the castle, and the visit itself is well organized to visit all parts of the castle in order. As you walk around the ramparts, admire the view of the sea and town, the artefacts from the sea wrecks, and the inscriptions telling the story of the construction of the castle by the Order of St. John. In summer, the museum rooms have air conditioning to give you some respite and toilets are available during the visit. Some rooms have graffiti from the 1500s ... Amazing.

Castle is is great shape. The museum is very interesting with great details in Turkish and English. I paid extra for the English audio guide, but about 90%was written. So unless you get another language, the guide is probably not worth it.

Such a beautiful museum and castle. The staff is friendly at the ticket counter. There is a lot of climbing so make sure you are fit and able. Leave at least 45 minutes for visiting (longer if you are taking lots of photos). You will find white peacocks ! And colorful male ones too. There is a gift shop at the entrance and a small cafe with snacks and drinks inside. The bathrooms facilities are clean. Amazing views of the sea and coastline.

Lovely castle and lots to see. The steps are very uneven so wear decent shoes. Keep an eye out for the peacocks wandering around, especially the albino ones, they are beautiful with their white feathers. The displays of the items recovered from local shipwrecks are astounding. Many of the pieces are fully intact and some date back to the 5th century. We spent 2-3 hours there in total.

Nicely divided in the different towers and rooms. Adding more direction signs could help navigating the site but it's not so huge anyway. We enjoyed a lot. Quite worth the time and money!

This excellent museum is set in Bodrum’s historic castle and a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. Exhibits about underwater archaeology are interspersed with open air displays of statuary and artifacts from the castle’s history. The castle itself is a fascinating place to explore, with beautiful views of the ocean and a history that stretches from the days of the Knights of St John through to its bombardment by the French during World War I. But despite the beautiful surroundings, the archaeological exhibits, housing artifacts mostly recovered from shipwrecks spanning about a thousand years of history, are the real revelation. Not only does the museum’s curation place these finds in their fascinating historical context, but they have also done extensive video interviews with the archaeologists who recovered them over the course of thousands of dives. One of my favorite exhibits partially recreated a small ancient trading ship carrying stores of glassware, which were recovered from the ocean floor and then in many cases painstakingly pieced back together by the archaeology team, who lived for months in a remote camp while working to catalogue the wreck and bring it to the surface. Interviewed years later for a short documentary available as part of the exhibit, you can see the archaeologists tear up as they remember the moment of uncovering gold earring lost for centuries under the ocean, or finding the last missing fragment of shattered glass vessel. A really beautiful and moving exhibit.

The price was kinda high(150tl per person) but you don't get much anyway. The first floor was dedicated to average scale & weighting exhibition (showing you a bunch of vase) and even smaller room dedicated to huge vases. On the second floor we found a nice collection jewelries but it too was rather small. And that't all. It took us around 30 min to see it all. It my be a nice place to drop by if you are in the area or to kill a spare hour but it's not worth a dedicated visit.

It was a great experience. The castle walls and rooms and stairs were as great as the artefacts. We didn’t think it was fair to charge an additional fee to see the glass ship wreck, so we opted to skip it, out of principle, as it wasn’t expensive, but still. Great views and great picture opportunities. We really enjoyed it. The stairs can be steep and daunting and there are loads of them, so just be aware if you have a sore knee or hip of some sort, as it can be challenging.

If you are visiting Bodrum, this museum is a must. Even the fee of 350 TL should not stop you. In the well preserved casttle you can find several small exibitions presenting different themes and time periods. My advise is to visit the casttle early in the morning. Later in the day you will be confronted with some big tour groups taking endlessly selfies.

The castle has multiple small museums. The Underwater Archeology Museum is the most magical although it is pretty tiny. It feels like walking back in time into an underwater world. You can see a reconstruction of a ship that sunk hundreds of years ago. Together with that, objects from the ship are displayed.

Very cheap but food not great, gave us the wrong order, staff don't understand any English at all, which is fair enough as its in Turkey. Food very mediocre quality and small portions. Much better options in Bodrum.

Camel beach is a lovely Sandy beach with free parking. We were disappointed that we had to pay 400tl each to enter. This gave us a token for a free drink: choice of Fanta, sprite or coke. You are given a wristband to wear…if you’re a tourist. Turkish people had free entry and didn’t have to wear a wristband. I think 400tl is very expensive and had we not travelled an hour to get there, we wouldn’t have bothered and would’ve gone somewhere else. And not a camel in sight!

The ambiance is good and relaxing;actually it is for families..and away from bodrum city like about 15 or 20 minutes drive ;u should take a taxi or u can take a boat trip from bodrum marina to this beach. And it occurred to me that this beach is not known from the tourists since all of the people and families were the natives and the reason that we came to this beach was that the guy with us was a regular visitor to bodrum from many years and he knows every corner and most of beaches. After couple of hours all the boats had left with all the people and the beach was only with natives again and noting that there is no parties or loud music here it is not like gumbet bay so that you know. But the beach here is cleaner then many others u will see the difference immediately. The water is crystal clear and the beds were for free and there is restaurant behind u can have your lunch and get back for some sun. In the end when we wanted to leave we saw many busses going back to the city I think it's every hour or half hour leaving so we took the bus back and it is way cheaper then a taxi. all in all was a great day and in case u go there U won't regret it. This beach is simply one of the best at the Bodrum peninsula. Easy to reach by Car and Bus from Bodrum City, it offers pure sand beach without any rocks at the beach or in the water, which is very hard to find in this area. The water is very clean, clear, calm and flat - even 30m from the beach, the water has a depth of only 1,50m. So it's perfect for kids and non-swimmers. At the beach you find very good infrastructure, sunbeds, umbrellas and showers/locker rooms are offered by plenty of restaurants. On most of them the beds and umbrellas are for free (exception: Sunset Kafe, there you pay 400 Lira entrance!) and you only have to eat/drink during your stay, which is quite fair. The beach itself is relatively clean for turkish beaches - sadly like everywhere you find cigarettes, plastics and other small garbage in the sand, but seems to be quite normal and doesn't really bother. So this beach is highly recommended to everyone looking for a nice sandy beach with good infrastructure and calm, flat water.

The beach is quite stoney for my liking, you have to pay to use the toilet and the camels aren't kept in the best conditions. The museum is not big, and showcases clothes and the house of Müren. A nice stop if you're around but I wouldn't recommend walking 40minutes like I did to see it.

We had a great day at xuma village. The prices for food and drinks are for Turkish standards high and can be compared with German prices (Cocktails are here even more expensive). But the facility is great and the water is clear and clean. You feel very comfortable even if our waiter was a bit arrogant. the online reservation process is very complicated and needs to be improved.

Overall good experience. We enjoyed the music selection and dining experience. The beach was OK- not the bluest or cleanest beach i went to in bodrum but not bad either.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the whole atmosphere is relaxing especially early in the day. The service is impeccable on the bar in the restaurant and by the beach. The food is very good and the music picks up in the afternoon. My favorite beach club so far would go again for sure

Nice little oasis in Yalikavak. A very loungy place with music, clean beds with shade and a pretty open lunch/dining area. The staff is very friendly. Would recommend!

I came here with my mom for an excursion from Virgin Voyages. We were greeted with the best hospitality. Yilmaz was our host all day and he was so attentive and helpful! A beautiful resort experience.

Great place and atmosphere but value for money is not well balanced. Slow and not very detail oriented service and watery cocktails. Plastic wrapped towels with nowhere to put the plastic wrapper and no one coming (or picking them up) to bring them away. (Maybe they changed it a week after we’ve been there, check for yourself :) )

It is good to spend all day. I was there on Monday it was a bit quiet. If you like to have a relax day, you can consider here. Food is nice. But not a party place or so.

This exclusive beach club was the perfect respite after cruising for several days. The service was good and the shrimp tacos were divine! Bring water shoes because much of the beach is rocky, which is normal. Umbrellas gave a great amount of shade and chaises were perfectly spaced near the surf.

If you wrote a review that prices are too high, then your sense of reality is skewed because if you want a nicer atmosphere, you'll have to pay for it. There are plenty of other beach clubs that cater to your pricing desires. You can't have it both ways. Yes, a lot of people speak English here, so don't listen to other reviews that say otherwise. Don't see any kids running around misbehaving... Food is good. Service is good. The scene is good. The view is good. You'll enjoy the relaxing vibe.

A must visit place at Bodrum. If you dont like the crowded center at night take a walk to Marina and enjoy a live music cafes with teasty food. Also visit a Palmarina (marina located at Yalikavak)

Born and raised on the peninsula, therefore I had a chance to visit this ancient city when I’m child. As i remember there was picnic areas and historical areas for visitors. Surrender by the nature itself. Especially in the spring time it’s the best time to visit. Many endemic flower and plants are blooming.

Prepare to climb a lot, but at the end fantastic scenery is waiting for you. If you are trekking fan, it must be very enjoyable activity to wonder around. Especially finding the watch tower after the sanctuary. I should say I gave up and returned back.

Managed to drive right to this spot on Google maps, and park on a paved road, but it’s really tight so just pray you don’t run into other cars. You can get a decent view of bodrum here! Also we climbed the rock path but actually there are stairs.

Pretty little beach, similar to everywhere else, nothing special. Clear blue water nice for a swim.

Not recommended. Extremely high entrance fee (350tl per person) with NO service. We received no umbrella, left under the sun, didnt make it a problem and ordered one drink which we had to remind 3times in almost 1hr to receive.(unless you dont mind)

The great beach! Palm trees, green grass, umbrellas are located at a distance - everyone has a private space, you can swim - not shallow, there is the necessary infrastructure.

Few years ago there was perfect sandy beach, natural, which is very rare in bodrum. But after the construction finished they put stones on a beach and it s not 5 star anymore. But it s still unique and beautiful place of the Aspat mountain.

The Radisson at Aspat is a great place to relax. The food is amazing. You may pay a bit more but unlike most places you get the value for your money. I went twice because I felt so relaxed from the first time and it was no mistake.

It was a fantastic spot before this ugly concrete buildings are built. I wouldn’t dare to go and see this sapless form of it but it seems from the pictures that the entire beauty and the atmosphere have turned into a mess. What a pity! I assume most of the people who knew the “old Aspat” would agree with me.

This bay is really beautiful. Clear water and fish to observe surrendered by ills. However, beach management could be definitely better, this natural spotted deserve it. Ex. Longchairs are old and mostly broken. Food can be also better, only snack are offered. Hopefully the new real estate building nearby will raise the quality.
