(Translated by Google) The closest station is Shirogane on the Hachinohe Line, but I don't have much trouble getting there.
It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk.
I think it's best to call a taxi. I won't be in front of the station unless you call me.
Although it was originally a famous restaurant, it has become even more famous as it became the first place from Aomori to be ranked as a destination restaurant in 2023.
I made a reservation and visited on a weekday night.
There are private rooms, table seats, and counter seats.
It looks like a home from the outside, but when you enter, you'll feel like you're in a stylish mountain hut, with a sophisticated yet warm design.
The evening course is only 14,300 yen omakase course.
I received that.
The menu consists of 9 dishes, desserts, and small sweets.
The portions aren't small, but there are a lot of items, so it's quite filling. The quality of each item is high, and when you consider the quantity and quality, the cost performance is quite good.
Among the appetizers, what was particularly impressive was the Mizudako terrine from Hachinohe.
The water octopus sold in Tokyo and other places weighs about 10 kilograms and is very firm, but this one weighs about 2 kilograms and can only be eaten here. Since the octopus is originally very soft, you can enjoy the full flavor of the octopus without overcooking it.
I'm glad that there are two types of pasta available.
Cold sea urchin pasta and abalone troccoli. They were both delicious.
The main dish is made with silver duck ballotine from Aomori Prefecture.
The fillet is surrounded by parts such as thighs. There are chrysanthemum flowers around.
The sauce has a punch of red wine and black garlic and is delicious.
The duck meat itself is quite chewy and flavorful.
Personally, I liked the appetizers and pasta better than the fish and meat mains.
But overall, including the dessert, it was delicious and the portion was large, so I was satisfied.
The chef, service staff, and sommelier's wife are all very nice people, and even though it's a famous restaurant, you can enjoy a casual meal.
There seem to be a lot of local people.
