Just returned from the restaurant; service was mediocre with untrained staff, mostly students. Despite the high prices, professionalism was lacking – 15+ minutes for the menu, 30 more for drinks, and nearly an hour for the food. On top of that it was very frustrating to see people who came after us served before, and there was a concerning hint of potential favoritism based on skin color. Hoping it's a misinterpretation, as such experiences are unacceptable in 2023. Dessert order ignored, so we left, settling the bill at the entrance bar. Atmosphere had a petrol smell likely coming from the boats ( for that part I wouldn’t put the blame on the restaurant as it is out their control), and tables were uncomfortably close (could hear neighbours’ conversation. Food, though heavy, was okay. They did not provide bread ( we had to ask ) also didn’t have butter either. Not keen on a return visit.

Thank you for acknowledging my response. I'd like to share my perspective, though not from the restaurant industry. I appreciate businesses opening during festive times. While I understand your point, I recently shared my opinion based on our experiences. I didn't provide my background in the review, but here it is for context. Customers spend hard-earned money for a quality time and food experience. Personally, I rarely see my family due to work constraints, and this was our first festive gathering in four years. Waiting extensively for food, despite its quality, is part of the overall experience. Service is as crucial as food quality, and if festive season challenges impact service, customers should be informed. While you mention opening for quality service during such times, our experience didn't reflect that. As constructive criticism, consider managing influx by reducing tables, if feasible. Profit during festivities is understandable, but maintaining service standards is vital. The part about skin color is noted, but it was the impression given. My experience suggests reviewing staff management for improvement. In conclusion, I might not recommend your place during festive seasons.
