I revisited Musashi in Mishima, Shizuoka.
I was hesitant when I looked at the menu, but after much deliberation, I decided on the same eel set meal as last time.
The first sashimi arrived. It was an assortment of 5 kinds of tuna, with beautiful edges. Since it's close to the port of Numazu, there are many kinds of fish and the freshness is good. I consumed half of 633 (a large bottle of beer) here.
The vinegared food was also great. It includes octopus, squid, shrimp, fried white fish, and liver, and plenty of cucumber, seaweed, and mozuku. The sweet vinegar and fresh ginger are refreshing.
The long-awaited eel was served to us this time as well. The meat is thick and fragrant, like grilled fish, and the sauce is crisp with a hint of sweetness. It's delicious. Even though it's a set meal, it's the equivalent of one eel. The cost performance is amazing. 633 ends here.
The soup stock for the liver soup is carefully prepared, and there are plenty of vegetables such as wheat gluten, Japanese ginger, and Japanese honey. There were 3 livers in it. There are 4 kinds of pickles, and you can drink a glass of cold sake with just this. The last punch line is so delicious that you have to watch it twice, and you realize once again that this is Shizuoka.
The quality of everything is high, and the volume, satisfaction, and cost performance are also good. As expected, Mishima is the best.

Although it is close to the port town of Numazu, Mishima seems to be a competitive area with many freshwater eel restaurants.
Located on the second floor of an old building facing the street in front of the station, it seems to be a restaurant loved by locals, serving set menus such as pork cutlet, fries, and tempura.
The interior of the store has a counter and a small raised area, and the elderly proprietress and owner are elegant and calm, making the restaurant feel as comfortable as if it were returning home, even though it was a new place. Basically, it's like an eel restaurant, but since I can't throw away the sashimi, I decided to try the ``eel set meal.''
The first sashimi that came out was a 4-piece platter that included an amazing golden sea bream and sole. Oh, I see. This place was close to the sea. This alone was worth coming here. The careful work of the knife also shows the skill of the craftsman. Shizuoka is also the place where you can't help but be amazed by the deliciousness of wasabi.
The vinegared food is not an accompaniment either. With fish roe, shrimp, and octopus, you could feel the richness of the sea. The kakiage of sakura shrimp, which is bigger than the palm of your hand, is crispy and has a strong aroma of sesame oil, and goes perfectly with the mitsuba leaves. A true treasure of Suruga Bay.
After waiting for about 20 minutes, the eel arrived and I was asked, ``Would you like it with rice or with rice?'' So I ordered it with rice. Since I was planning on eating a set meal, I expected it to be less than half an animal, but I was surprised to find that it was only for one animal. The steaming is light, and the texture is soft and chewy, like fresh grilled fish. The skin has a fragrant aroma that feels like flames, and while it has a rich flavor with just the right amount of fat, it is coated with a sharp, not sweet sauce for adults. This is amazing. I eat in silence, but my stomach growls and my mouth smiles.
Stroll in without any expectations and enjoy the richness of the ocean, rivers, and water. I felt energized.
