Most amazing beach! A lot of the reason why people visit Milos, gets very crowded peak season, if you wanna beats the crowds best to get there early in the morning, great place for cliff jumping too. Never been to such an amazing beach, there are also boat tours that include this spot but it’s easy enough to drive down and take a dip or a cliff jump, I did see some dogs there too but I wouldn’t recommend it might be too hot for their little paws.

Very unique place, it looks amazing! Careful, It's not a "beach" place to sit all day. The Rocks and generally this place looks like you're on a different planet. It's definitely a must when visiting the Island.

Just stunning. So fun watching everybody jump off the cliffs, and jumping in ourselves! Be prepared to walk more than you’d think.

Unique landscape created by volcanic irruptions thousands of years ago; definitely worth visiting for the experience and the amazing pictures you’ll be able to take. From a beach point of view, don’t be disappointed when you realize that this is a small beach, that gets very busy ! Not great from a swimming point of view, but still top on the to do list. I’d also advise against visiting with children as it can be dangerous, if not taking precautions ( slippery rocks, hard to access and rocky beach ).

It's called the moon beach, because of the smooth like floor. Its good for romantic pictures, a small accessible beach for kids, and cliff jumping for adventurous people like me 😃. There is a lot of things to do there so try to spend not less than 2 hours there. A must go beach when you are in Milos.

Super packed with tourists but super cool to see. It is a long walk down and long walk back up but worth it. Some slippery areas of loose rock when walking around and wet rocks when getting into the water so be careful. Had a blast cliff jumping to if you are into that. Easy swims back out.

This beach is so pretty, the photos do not disappoint and as others have said it’s not super crowded for sunset. The water on the day we went was too harsh to do any cliff jumping but otherwise lovely moon-like beach with interesting areas like caves and just all the other hilly spots for pics. Dusk or dawn would be perfect for golden hour photos

This wonderful spot of Milos Island consists of gray-white volcanic rock formations of many different shapes. It offers a wonderful view and makes you feel like you are walking on the moon. There is a small beach in a sea recess, under the shade of a few small trees. Since the point where you enter the sea from the beach is quite shallow, it is possible to swim by jumping from some safe rocks. If you're going on a sunny day, take into account that the rocks are hot and there is little shade. You can go early to find a shaded area or take an umbrella with you that will protect you from the sun.

5 stars does not seem high enough for this place. It is almost like a mars or moon landscape. The water was rough when we were there so didn't swim but there is a spot to wade in. We weren't expecting all of the caves that seemed to go on and on. So much fun

The only reason I gave this a 4 is because it's only worth visiting for pictures and maybe jumping off the cliff if you're into that. It's definitely mesmerizing to see the white xolour rocks and makes for a great backdrop in pictures, but other than that, that's all it is. We went at 8am and there was already a few people there. I would suggest going no later than 8 if you want nice photos without anyone in them. By 9am, the parking lot was packed (end of June).

Beach is nice but overrated. Way too many people to give it a 5 star review. However, if you walk just a few minutes along you're quickly on your own

The must see place in Milos. It's hard to describe but the views and landscape are breathtaking!! Feels like you are on another planet. Take your time and enjoy. Just be warned that it is uneven terrain so wear good shoes. It is also a decent trek and the white rocks reflect the sun so it can get very hot, so make sure you stay hydrated!! But definitely worth it!!

Such a magnetic looking beach, just a short drive from town. Catching sunrises here is just amazing. The hues of the sky to the moon like terrain. This beach is appropriate for all ages, there is a shallow part that perfect for kids to play in just right where the caves are. This point is sandy or small pebble beach easy for kids sit in and play with the sand. Further down is for those whom are decent swimmers as the ledges to jump off of vary due to the tide. Of course this is a swim/jump into the water at your own risk. The water is at least 15 ft + deep so if you jump in, be aware you swimming into the smaller cove to climb up the rock face, which can be slippery. Overall it’s beautiful day or night. Nighttime will best during a full moon, to have its glow reflect off it terrain. Also from when I went I did not see any restrooms.

Looks better in person than Instagram! What an amazing adventure to a truly magical spot. Make sure to pack a picnic and remove your trash. Lots to explore on both sides of the swimming area as well as the extensive cave system.

This was an interesting place. I usually think of sand at a beach but there really isn't any here. The water & cliffs were beautiful. There is an area where you can walk in. Some people were swimming but it was too cold for me. There were some caves to walk in, but some people have thrown trash there.

Amazing moonscape like you've never seen before. Quoting our hotel owner: The volcano did a beautiful job! Go in the morning before 8 or after 6 for the spectacular lighting and also smaller crowds. It really does get crowded after 9. Also, keep on walking past the beach. The view gets better and better as you go deeper!

Not a beach you could spend all day at but the best beach for exploring. Wish I had more time in milos so I could come back at various times during the day and see how the different light changed it. Gorgeous.

Incredible place. Definitely worth hiring your own boat and going early. Perfect for swimming because it's so shallow, clear and protected. By about 10-11, there were big tour boats coming in and asking the other boats to move out of their way. We left after that to another beach. Before the big boats came in, the cove was one of the best places we've been to on Milos.

This is just an incredible place! Crystal clear waters in a secluded cove with plenty of caves to explore if you need to get out of the sun for a minute. Ideal place to swim, snorkel, or just relax on a boat. Absolutely breathtaking!

Undoubtedly, this is the place to be on Milos Island. Everybody goes there. We had the privilege of spending a night there on our own boat, anchored in front of one of the caves that drop from the dramatic mountains. The water is as perfect as it can get, absolutely turquoise blue. You can swim or snorkel between the rocks and caves. One of the greatest places I’ve ever seen on this planet

Took a tour by boat, and took us to the bay where we were able to swim around the bay, through some caves and relax on sone rocks. The scenery is beautiful, with these incredible rock formations everywhere you look; crystal clear waters. It was quite busy with lots of other tour boats anchored. Still worth it.

Gorgeous! Unique! Went there by boat Zephyros from the beach Agia Kyriaki (30€ per person), 4 hours so we had enough time to swim and enjoy Kleftiko

Although the obvious popular choice is to go on a boat to the bay, the hike is as good if not better of a choice. At just over a mile, the walk down gives you amazing views of the rocks and water. The bay itself is beyond beautiful and swimming through the arches is one of the coolest experiences you can ever experience. You must go here if you are on Milos.

Tl;dr Beach only accessible by boat. Beautiful. Color of the water is great, transparent, can see the ground. Well worth it. Water is cold (May) but worth a dip. Stayed in area to the side of main beach with less boats, it can get pretty crowded. Bring some food and drinks and chill 👍 would go back

Great place for snorkeling, but you need to be careful, when there are too many tourist boats around. The later you will get there the harder it is to find a good spot for your boat. Best thing would be to find a local skipper.

Took a boat trip to see Kleftiko. A whole day sailing the Coast, with an amazing captain. The weather wad perfect. Almost no Windows and a lot of sun. Can defently recomend them, excellentyacht. The tour startet at a beach, prostavast and then ended in Adamas.

Potentially the most beautiful water on earth. Only accessible by boat for the most part. Very fun to go explore water caves by small boat. Water is crystal clear with beautiful small fish. A must see paradise in Greece. Make sure to bring a swimsuit

Wonderful place for a swim in a beautiful scenario. Only accessible via boat you need to choose one or many tours available in Milos. With a day tour we stayed there for more than a hour and it was great!

Beautiful and large sandy beach with red, volcanic rocks and pebbles. Usually crowded at the parts where there are beach bars and sun beds but there is always space at the end of the beach which is also the quiet one.

Big beach with, in theory lot of space. But 3 private places and a lot of noise for this beautiful place. Some little areas are available if you don’t want to pay for a sit. Easy to park for cars.

Easy access and parking. Super clear water and interesting view. In this particular location sand can be super hot and burn your feet due to underground volcanic activity. There is no sand close to the water, small gravel only. Sundbeds prices are ridiculously high (35 to 60€). A lot of activity are available on this beach (jetski, paddle, big things dragged by a motorboat...) which also means a lot of noise. Definitely not the most beautiful beach of the island.

Milos was my favourite island on all Greece and this beach is amazing. A quiet beach to have some nice time with a beautiful landscape. Please visit this place, it is a must on the island. I recommend you to go early because the good spots to park your vehicle will be taken ... and there is a long walk to the beach tho. But it is definitely worth it. There is not WC tho. Be prepared.

A southern Milos gem. Keeps the sun till half hour before sunset. Water temperature moderate. The loud music from the bar not a plus.

By far the best beach in Milos. Clear waters, incredible scenery which reminds Ionian islands in Greece and a big beach split into two sides. If you want to find a set of sunbeds, be sure to get there early otherwise you will not find any.

Stunning beach but difficult to access. You need to use two massive ladders and rope to climb down. I’m scared of heights but could go down easily. Do not go with kids and I recommend to have good shoes or no shoes. We left our flip flops behind the time to experience this small adventure.

This was so fun adventuring to! Beach is beautiful and the view is stunning. The ladders aren’t easy, so the beach definitely isn’t busy.

Beautiful hidden away beach. The ladders are definitely a bit scary at first, but they are well worth the trouble! It is doable in flip flops but I would definitely recommend wearing sneakers. When you get down to the beach be sure to swim out to the tucked away caves on both sides.

Great cove to visit with a tricky decent into it. There is free parking at the top and then you climb down two ladders to reach the beach. Shoes advisable for the climb and pack light, as the rocks you have to travel between are tight. Highly recommend getting there early in the morning. (We got there at 9am and the beach already had a few people on it). Beach has limited space and a lot of people arrive around 11am, including boats that drop off tourists. Clear waters with a couple of caves you can explore. The sea floor is a mixture of large rocks and sand. Sea shoes recommended. Half of the cove is in the shade for the first half of the morning.

Overrated. Okay, the ladder experience is fun but can become scary for some people. After that, you'd expect a great beach and yet you get dry seaweed a bit everywhere, just a few meters of sand, and not much space. Maybe by boat it can be better - but go check firopotamos instead.

Getting down to the beach on foot is challenging. There are two staircases and a rope. It is steep, rocky and slippery. The steps on the stairs are big. But very worthwhile when you get down! The beach is small and mostly rocky. There are beautiful caves and lovely snorkelling spots.

Well worth the hike down the cliff side to swim at this beach. The views at the top are stunning and one my favorite memories that will last a lifetime. I hope I can return to Greece some days soon for more adventures. Be safe and happy travels.

Double ladder descent to the beach makes this place so special. Highly recommend functional footwear. We went early in the day to avoid crowds and had it to ourselves for a little bit. Crystal clear water and incredibly cool rocks!

Great little beach. Worth getting there by boat as opposed to car. If you drive/walk there you enter the beach via a ladder. The actual sand part of the beach is pretty small. There's lots of shallow, crystal clear water. Great for swimming especially if the wind is blowing. Relatively protected beach. Definitely less boats than kleftiko. I think there were only 2 other small boats there when we were.

This beach was amazing. My group ended up going back several times during our stay in Milos. Such a fun adventure to climb down ladders on a cliff to reach a beautiful beach. The beach area itself is fairly small, every time we went we didn’t have trouble getting an area to lay down at and leave our things, the water here felt so refreshing and was such a beautiful color. Highly recommend checking this beach out if you can!

Not a beach you go for their safety rating but that’s all part of the adventure, there’s a couple of steep ladders down into a deep cove beach, some nice caves, very rocky, best to get there earlier in the day as it looses sun later on

If you are somewhat in shape, it's a must!! Would avoid with kids or older people. We had to wait for 10+ people to come up one by one for us to go down, but once the "traffic" passes, it's basically going down a ladder. Make sure to watch where you put your feet and you're good to go. Stunning view for snorkeling place, calm water. Not lots of place to lay down so less crowds. Would go back and stay longer😁

If you want to access the beach, it's at your own risk because you gotta go down an old ladder. The final destination is a private small beach to swim, not much space to lay down. Beautiful view regardless.

Beautiful small beach, a little difficult to get to if you’re not able to climb a ladder etc, much easier to get back up vs get down there. there’s very little beach available to lay on but the water was beautiful and relatively calm and had a lovely pocket of sunshine and a nice breeze. Beach accessible by going down the ladder. When we arrived there was a queue to get down. There is set of two ladders. Pretty tricky to get down. I'd recommend proper footwear as it is easy to fall with flip flops on. Once down there is pretty, small beach. Lovely place, can get crowded though.

Beautiful isolated beach. Be warned that the descent down the cliffs via an old wooden ladder is not for the faint hearted! During peak season it get quite backed up, due to people both trying to come down and go back up the single file ladders at once.

It is not that hard to go down, go with comfortable shoes because you’re gonna have to go down two very sketchy stairs and the beach is very very small and crowded. You also have to wait to go up or down because there is only one way of stairs so it takes some time if there’s people. I liked it more when I saw it from above than when I went down. It is very pretty but I honestly liked other beaches more than this one. I recommend to go to fyriplaka which is next to this one and is bigger and with a nicer view and the most crystal water I’ve ever seen

This place is absolutely amazing thanks to its gorgeous view! The studio was perfect for us, to cook a bit and admire the sunset. it was comfortable and so quiet… very easy to walk to Pollonia and to the beach. Many sweet cats around to welcome you :) thank you Brigitte and Andreas!

Really wonderful place, and the hosts Andreas and Brigitte are absolutely lovely. They brought us vegetables from their farm, and a gift too! Really great people who are accommodating and welcoming. Would really recommend, and also recommend Andreas Cruises Perseas, he has a beautiful boat he takes out to sea and shows you some pretty unknown spots with wild goats!

We had an unforgettable time at Andreas rooms. Andreas, his wife, their son George, and their outdoor cats are a super kind family who welcomed us with open arms. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax while listening to the calming sound of the waves and watching stunning sunsets on your private porch, go ahead and book this place. We rented their studio for a week and although we spend most of our time either relaxing on the porch or exploring the island, we found that it had all the essentials we needed. The studio is equipped with a small fridge, a hot plate, pots and cooking utensils, a warm shower, cold AC, a closet and a laundry line outside to hang your clothes etc. The studio was cleaned daily, so we did not have to worry about sweeping the floor or making the bed. Andreas generously gifted us a ton of delicious fresh vegetables and fruit from his garden. He also was happy to answer all of our questions about Milos and even guided us to two beautiful beaches closeby which are not on the typical tourist map. Thank you again Brigitte, Andreas, and George for this magical time! We hope to come back and stay with you again soon!

This is the best place to stay in Pollonia ,Milos.We stayed in room 4,top floor in July,2023 and we are very lucky that we found that place.Everything was perfect.Nice studio with a fully equipped kitchenette,comfortable double bed,nice bathroom.Cleaning service every day.The real treasure is the terrace with magnificent sea view in both sides.Even when it is hot you feel the sea breeze when you sit on the terrace.So calm ,we enjoyed the sun set every evning.Brigitte and Andreas are very nice couple, tolerant,invissible,but always there to help.There is also a place in front of the house where you can park your car.Everything is close-the beach,taverns,supermarket You can go in 5 min.And when we left Andreas gave us a small present-a statue of Venus de Milo,which will remind us for the island and for Brigitte and Andreas.It was really so cute.I recommend the place,I would give it 10 stars if I could.Thank you Brigitte and Andreas!
