Overcrowded and far too noisy. Pind daan should ideally be performed in a serene and silent atmosphere, which this place lacks. Add to it countless interferences during the proceedings by money hungry pandas who will pester you for information about the place of residence of your forefathers.

The ceremony of pind daan by Pt. Gokul Dubey ji and his team was a great spiritualexperience. He told us all the rituals and their meaning and significance properly. He wasn't selling the package deal of rituals like some other pandit ji. He just said give dashina as per your will and accepted gracefully. He gave ample time and did the puja with utmost dedication. I highly recommend him for Gaya rituals.

A lot of work is being done for renovation at Pind-dan site.

A must place for pindadaan.Very commercial they extract Max money one must bargain compulsorily.But unlike in varanasi, prayagraj they perform rituals with dharbhas etc i.e as per sastra

Hi! If you are planning to come to gaya for pind dan please make sure, you have contact with any panda which is known by any relatives or friends. If you don't have any contact, please visit govt. Official website and there is available more than 100 panda's contact number and details with I'd proof. And about the panda, before fixing all things they will give an example like they work only for religion and help all people who come here to pind dan and they complete the pooja only 21/- as required. These are all politeness , soft words and behavior untill you will not fix them. After the final the pooja their all words and priority totally change. So my humble request to yiu please contact govt. Official website, and contact panda, tell them your native location, they will guide you or provide you the contact number of your native place panda. If you come any other place of panda they will not guide about your native palce records, so please move from there to your native location. "Please be aware of the froud people"

Awesome place for pind dan Vishnupath Mandir

we had an amazing experience with Gokul ji as our main pandit. He had done all the rituals very nicely. He has a vast knowledge about Pitra dosh, Geeta and many more things which help us elevate spiritually. we were offered free stay in an Ashram which was quite clean and hygienic. I would recommend you all to visit Gaya and ask for Mr Gokul ji

BHARAT SEVASHRAM is the best place I would recommend anyone coming to Gaya for Pind dan to avoid SCAMS! We, accompanied with our relative's family, went to Gaya as our(me&my frnd's) fathers would continue with the Pind dan. The Bharat SevaAshram we stayed in, was recommended to us my our local Bharat SevaAshram(in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal). It was actually worth it as after reaching Gaya, there's a office just in front of the railway station where futher Monks from Bharat SevaAshram are present to guide you to your required location. After further processes, we halted in this Bharat SevaAshram and on the next day in accordance to the monks present there, we went for Pind dan.. All the bookings ranging from taxi to pandits were allotted to us by the Head monk in Bharat SevaAshram we stayed in! Overall, a must visit place for everyone going to Gaya for pind dan.. as it is a LEGIT place from where they will guide you where to go and where not to. Further processes in Gaya will proceed accordingly, also the pandits will request you to provide them Rs. 2000 but you need to stick within 200~400 or else it'll prove to be a heavy loss in your pocket for futher processes in Gaya.. 3 places are to be visited for completion of pind dan.. So, 3 pandits will be asking you for money.. remember don't give them more than 400/- . This is not a SCAM but they'll be asking for more as it is the main source of income for them afterall.. So be smart instead of being a "Danii" person. ;)

Good place for pind daan.... Lots of purohits are there but few are good from which Purohit Gokul Dubey ji is one of them... He has good knowledge about all these shraadh and pind daan... He is very gentle and polite Purohit who has accepted whatever Dakshina we have given to him...

It is a seasonal river. It gets water during monsoon. Rest of the year it is dry. Government should work toward linking Falgu with a perennial river.

This river is mostly dry in summers and winters. During monsoon It looks very beautiful as this gets filled with water. There are 4 bridges on it. Manpur Gaya main bridge (6 lanes), A bridge from bhusanda to manglagauri, another ram setu bridge beside sita kund connecting it to vishnupad (both are directly opposite of the river), Railway bridge, it connects patwatoli to ramshila pahad. Since this river is dry most of the time no boating etc. facilities are available as you would find on other rivers or lakes for 5hat matter.

Rubber dam has been built on the Falgu river and is near Sita kund which is good for sightseeing. But the dam has also stopped the natural flow of the river and water has become dirty due to actions of the people and inactions of the authorities.

The temple officials and responsible person have intentionally made a scheme for harrasment of common persons. There are 2 lines 1 VIP line where you will get instant entry for 250 per person. And a very small line in 2nd line for free where you will be tortured to wait for hours and hours so that you go for VIP pass. Business bana diya h Puja ka.

Pros: Temple has its own spiritual vibes undoubtedly. Cons: BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS. Not everybody is a fraud though, yet some are there ready to trick you. To mention one, there is a small shop just opposite the temple on the road that sells pooja related items in a hand woven basket (you have to return him the basket afterwards). He portrays himself very amicable and helpful, offers to take care of your shoes also. Make sure to check all the items that you brought back as prasad. He offers to pack them for you when you return him the basket and very cleverly keeps some of the packed items aside, away from your site to sell them again to other customers.

Though the que was not big, but it was moving too slow Because The main temple is not very big, too many devotees were trying to enter the main temple for puja and darshan at a time, creating some difficulties for others, crowd management by the temple committee may ceto rtainly be improved. The approach road to the temple was narrow and dusty. Overall, a blissful visit and darshan of Mata Mangala Gouri.

One of the shaktipeeth located in Gaya Bihar. The temple has a small garbha-grih and can be reached by climbing few stone stairs from the main road. It also has a motor able road from the back side where people mostly bring thwir new vehicles for puja. The temple gives good positive vibes. Very attractive monastery. Always buddhist temples use very rich & attractive colors. One feels very calm & quite in such temples. As we do not have much exposure to Buddhism , it's always nice to visit & explore something in such visits.
