The biggest mall in the America's and it doesn't disappoint. I walked around for about 2 hours 20 minutes covering 2.50 miles/4km. Plenty to see and do here with a wide variety of stores. Lots of beautiful art and set pieces throughout the mall. If you are a foodie, you'll be in heaven. Food options galore, I can easily gain 20lbs in a week here with no restraint. Despite this mall being filled with thousands of people at any given time, it never felt crowded to me, just busy. Parking was surprisingly easy and stress free.

The biggest mall in North America. There is an amazing water park and amusement park. Fun and relaxation. Children friendly. A lot of shops and you can spend whole day here because it's very large. A lots of great restaurants for foodie. A must visit place!

Great place to spend a nice relaxing couple of hours. Tons of stuff to do here; feeling hungry, they have dozens of options to choose from, feel like visiting the water park, they have an indoor wave pool, what? Literally hundreds of shops and kioks which sell almost any and everything, I think I even saw a Toyota dealership in there somewhere, IN A MALL! Amazing! Definitely going back there when I go to Edmonton again.

Had every store you really need. Also known as the biggest mall in North America, and one of the largest malls in the world. It has a hotel connected to the mall itself, and is located not far from the international airport. This enables travellers to have an all in one stop. Inside the mall there is not only a pirate shop with RC boats and paddle boats, it also has an entire water park with a wave pool. The mall is also home to Galaxy Land, and theme park with many rides for both adults and children. It has a haunted house and various carnival games with prizes.

What an enormous mall! You can see, and do almost everything here. Some really neat shops and attractions. If you want to visit for the attractions, make sure you double check operating times, and you may be able to score a deal by purchasing tickets before you go. Free parking. No admission fee for the mall.

Excellent experience! You can go swimming at the water park, watch hockey matches at the indoor rink, go to the movie theatre and go to an indoor amusement park. There's also two separate food courts you can choose from. Highly recommended to spend the whole day here if you can as there's many different stores to shop from.

Have been here few times for short visits only. But this time I spend quite a time here with my kids. The mall is humongous, well planned, beautifully decorated and well managed. Easy to find stores and entertainment facilities. Lots of fun for family and people of all ages. You can find almost everything here. My kids love this place. Mall management has done great job as Christians shopping is so easy and fun here.

It is a nice big mall with lots of shops and attractions. Too bad that everything is so expensive in there. We only entered the Aquarium and it was nice. Not as big as I thought it’d be but it was so cool watching the sharks, penguins and turtles swimming around. You need at least a couple of days and deep pockets to really enjoy everything it has to offer.

Amazing weekend! Got super lucky and scored the new Camping room. It was insane! They put a ton of thought into this room. Fire pit, giant TV, giant jacuzzi, animals all over. My kids loved the skunk in the bathroom. Lol. Very friendly staff, check in and out was very smooth and far. Very clean and fresh. 100% recommend!

Way too busy on a Saturday but we expected that. And too hot. We love the variety of stores, places to eat and the facilities. Next time we will go during the week when it's quieter. Definitely check out the T&T Market. The Chinese buffet is delicious and they have an excellent bakery and bubble tea selection.

This place is really beautiful 😍. You can definitely spend a whole day with your family and friends. They have many activities like water theme park, rollercoaster, game station, casino, bowling , many things for kids etc. You can find a lots of food stalls with every cuisines. Must visit here if you're planning a trip into Edmonton.

Lovely! Quite crowded but again I visited on a Saturday and that’s expected. There’s the arcade and cinemas on the top floor. Lots of designer outlet stores with colourful designs and decorations making it look like different building- gorgeous concept. There’s a huge indoor splash pad with regulated waves and water slides, that was quite exquisite. Hockey rink inside and lots of places and options for food, drinks, snacks or whatever you like. I had pretzels and was lovely. Not as thick and big as expected but good otherwise though the cinnamon sugar over it was a tad much. The pretzel 🥨 bites were new to me but nice, I guess I didn’t have an expectation, tasted half way between baked bread and fried dough. The salty pepperoni 🍕 pretzel was excellent. There’s the seal lion water way and the mini golf course, both required paid entry for access but looked like lots of fun!

To be honest it was okay. It's big and has activities such as a water park..hockey rink, a pirate ship in the middle of the mall, go Karting. It's a big mall so give yourself time to walk around. It's pretty much like any other mall in terms of the stores. It's a nice attraction to visit.

Fantastic! A great water park, a great amusement park and a ton of other fun stuff for the family to do like ice skate, go carts and more we even met some real live 3 toed sloths there. On top of all of that, its an amazing mall with everything you would want for shopping and tons of options at multiple food courts to eat. Loved our vist to the west Edmonton Mall!

Huge mall. Tons of stores. But it seems like they put more money and effort into the stores than the attractions. Half of the rides at galaxy land were closed. Half of the slides at the waterpark were closed. The drive experience was closed at 730pm and the zipline was closed at 330pm. 2 hours earlier than the posted hours. Very disappeared daughter

Huge mall. They have got all the brand big and small. I have been 2 times and both times I wasn’t able to go through everything. They have car showroom, full size ice hockey ground, big wave pool with slides and go kart kind of racing cars and many more things. Must visit

Largest for a reason. The mall somehow manages to have ALL of the fun you would look forward to in a city. Watched a movie on National Cinema Day, there is a seal show, pirate theme park, indoor water park and lots lots more. Super busy during holidays. Definitely Worth a visit if you are in Edmunton

The largest mall in Canada is located in the city of Edmonton. Lots of shops and stores which vary from high-end luxury to the more affordable ones, they have everything in this mall, from a water park, to an amusement park and even H&M. But despite all that, the washrooms were very difficult to find in this mall. They should definitely add more washrooms. This mall is also very busy since it is flocking with tourists and locals alike.

Great place to eat! 22 beers on tap, if you find yourself thirsty for a pint! Server was friendly and efficient! I had the Donair Tacos. Yum! Tater tots were perfect. Hubby had the fish and chips, said it was delicious! You can build your own burger, which is what my brother did. It was gone in no time, so I do believe he enjoyed it! Would definitely go back.

This place is more than just a mall, it’s a experience/ major attraction. This place is absolutely incredible it contains 2 food court a water park,hockey rink,movie theatre and hotell and can’t forget about the go kart track. And that’s probably 15% of what this place has to offer. If you ever in Edmonton this place is must go. You won’t regret it that’s for sure. Also inside there is a full-size amusement park for the kids

For Edmonton and the winter climate, this mall is perfect. I find the mall awkward to get around if I just need a couple of things. However I can totally understand how someone visiting as a tourist can find the mall fascinating. There is something for everyone and lots to do.

West Edmonton Mall is basically my playground on steroids! It’s like stepping into a whirlwind of fun, with shops to browse, rides to scream on, and enough food to keep me fueled for days. Yeah, it can get crazy busy, but that just adds to the wild ride. It’s where I go when I need a dose of excitement and a break from reality. WEM, you never fail to deliver the thrills!

I stopped here to check out the place again because it has been 15 + years since my last visit. The place was loaded with amazing stores and lots of fun activities. There was a huge water park there, an ice rink, a shooting range, a casino, and a Hasbro amusement park. Not to mention Fantasy Land Hotel. I am now planning a visit there soon with my family to have some fun. Fly them in for a visit after my hitch is finished, and they can drive back to BC with me.

We were very excited to visit this mall and it did not disappoint! The amusement park was above our expectations actually! The rides were great!! The roller coaster was actually pretty big and long, and the coaster actually spun around as you went down and around! It was awesome! The drop tower also shot you up and down multiple times! We LOVED that there were no lines and we got to go on multiple rides back to back! We did go on a Thursday, so we got a discounted rate as well. Not sure how busy it would be on a weekend. The mall itself was also pretty decent with lots of stores! Bourbon street is awesome! Tonsssss of cool restaurants in there, and they also still have a regular mall food court as well…. It is updated and super clean and well decorated too! Bathrooms were also clean and very large! The ice rink in the mall is super cool, and we didn’t have time to checkout the waterpark but we heard amazing things from there! If we get to come back we will definitely have to check it out!

This shopping mall is really too big. Inside, there are various activities, including dolphin shows, a water park with waves, a pirate ship, an ice skating rink, and a variety of luxury brand stores with a wide array of products, and exquisite decorations. This mall is a great place for family gatherings.

This mall is huge. It has lost its allure and luster over the years. Still great things to do and see here. The Waterpark is amazing. The amusement park has seen better times. Very tight space for everything they have. Not much for older kids to do. The lagoon once was a magical place when the sub was running, but since it was shut down its lost excitement. Great food options throughout the mall and especially on Bourbon Street. The Jubilations dinner theater is a fun night out. Don't expect Broadway and just enjoy the evening. Overall, it's a lot of walking, store space and people. Basically if you need it you can find it in this mall.

The WEM is massively entertaining with more than I expected I saw the water park and go carts and took the kids to see Santa. The art and statues are phenomenal as well as placed tastefully and elegantly. I will return here many times to enjoy it all.

As a person from Vancouver, WEM reminded me a lot of Metrotown or Tsawwassen Mills, except with an amusement park, Water park, and other touristy attractions inside. Galaxyland is very fun especially if you have a pass. I recommend going on a weekday as it will be far less busy.

Amazing experience! You get to enter some of the old buildings that were set in the time, there's even characters dressed up on costumes from that time! There's cafes and washrooms all over, and 2 trains to bring you around. Definitely bring snacks & water with you & sunscreen! Great family experience.

Overall, an interesting park, especially for children. But there is also something for adults to see. Be prepared for the fact that you will have to walk a lot because the park is simply huge and it is impossible to explore it in a couple of hours. I really liked the town where there was a bakery, a pharmacy, a small corner with animals and a telephone exchange where you can call. Why 4 stars and not 5, because the problem with parking is catastrophically small for such a large park. Or you have to arrive very early to grab a seat or even be without a car.

PROS: * A very nice way of showing and preserving a piece of history. * Exhibits are very well done. * Staff is dressed according to the theme in the buildings and are very knowledgeable explaining every item on display and their historic significance. CONS: *None Overall Impression: I would highly recommend a visit during the week when not busy. Take your time

Wonderful place for whole day, we spent 5 hours, there are so many things to see and very well organized, map was super helpful. Really had the feeling of traveling in time. You can take the super old train, meet people from old times, watch a blacksmith or listen to fur maker. Trains and rides are included in ticket price. It was really an amazing experience.

I was super impressed with this place! The indigenous peoples exhibit was amazing! The old fashioned streets and buildings were really cool! And the fair at the end was awesome! My only wish was that they were open later. We had to rush through a bit and didn't get to see everything I would have liked to.

I love Fort Edmonton Park! And even more so now that they’ve completed their renovations! I love exploring all the historic buildings & learning the history, seeing things captioned from different eras. Love riding the street car & the train! Watching a show in the old theatre! Love the actors/actresses they have walking around & in the old homes & shops! They all play their part so well & know the history about the location when asked. Love the exposition & all the rides & games available! You can spend a whole day here very easily as we were there for just over 3 hours & ran out of time as there was still so much to see & do!! Highly recommend!!

It's a beautiful place to visit. Do not visit in the heat there's not enough places that provide a cool enough atmosphere. Fall or spring would be the best season to visit in, rides are fun with medicore wait times food stands are unique and good. I often end up overheating while I'm here, lots of walking. Family friendly but would not recommend visiting with young children.

What an amazing experience! Been here many times over the years and have never run out of stuff to explore! From the newer indigenous experience and revamped midway to the train and fort there's much to learn, taste, enjoy and explore! Would recommend to anyone who is visiting or those residents who haven't yet had the chance. 😄

We had a blast at the market. We went for fun and the drag show and fun was what we got! It was a VERY festive set up throughout the park, lots of booze and food and photo ops and fire pits. We will be back next year…or this weekend lol!

For the first time since I've lived here in 2017, finally managed to make it out to fort Edmonton Park in order to participate in the Christmas market events.. what an amazing place, that brings you back in time. Will definitely have to visit this place again during summer of 2024 !!

I’ve been here many times but I refer went here for Dark (Halloween set up) It was great, vet well lit, lots of great scares. The drinks were a bit pricey but it’s what I did expect for featured drinks (Jello shot in a syringe 😂) We’ve also bought tickets to The Christmas Market here (runs from late November to mid December) * post will be updated to reflect my experience :)

The family and myself had a blast. The biggest surprise was that the trolley and steam train rides were free and unlimited with your paid admission. There was a small fee to ride the horses I think. The volunteers were really good at acting their parts and even tried to sell us snake oil. You can easily spend a whole day there visiting the fort, enjoying the mini fair or learning some indiginous history and the new building. Long story short it was time well spent.

We went to check out the Fort Edmonton Park Christmas Market and what a fantastic day! Everyone wanted to walk around to explore all the fun things Fort Edmonton offered. Our first stop was the Merry mid way. There were game's, food/drink stands to sample yummy bakings or drinks. Frosty's Funhouse, maze, and plenty of photo ops available for all to take pictures. We then rode the street car to take us for a little ride to the Market hall where we checked out All the different vendors to offer some beautiful Christmas gifts to buy. We also stopped at the Hotel Selkirk and peaked in the Capital theater. A must do every year for a fun outing for the family during the Christmas season!

Admission is pricey, but once you're in the gate everything is included besides pony and wagon rides. So the midway rides and games, the steam train, the street car trolley, the mini golf, and all the building exhibits are included. The midway rides are very child-friendly, even allowing my youngest (who normally can't go on many rides because of height requirements) onto all of them as long as a parent was accompanying. They have people in costumes throughout the park, showing what people wore in the past, and teaching people about the buildings and people who lived there. I really enjoyed that aspect! The new Indigenous People's Experience exhibit is spectacular, so definitely make sure you check that out! Overall, a great experience to do with the family once a year.

At first glance, you'd think this park is just all about the rides and the parlour games--but when you explore further, it'll transport you to an amazing historical trip and let you experience nature, interactive museums, steam engine and street car rides, farm animals, music, food and the arts in one whole venue. We love how this place looks different every season and how it teaches us a lot each time we visit. It took us 4 separate visits to look around and cover the entire facility. There's always something new to learn and discover and the beautiful exhibits are always awe-inspiring.

First visit to the park in several years. There have been some positive changes and a few things that were not as good as in previous years. The new Indigenous Peoples Experience was top-notch. The guides in the exhibit were friendly and helpful. Lots of good information to help build awareness of this chapter of Canadian history. The midway and games were a lot of fun. The staff working there were friendly. Older exhibits and buildings were not as interesting or interactive as they have been on past visits. Not all the exhibits were open or running and staff seemed unengaged. With a couple of exceptions, staff sat in their places, but did not interact with guests unless asked a question. Still, lots to see and do. Well worth taking the family. A few tweaks and this park would be back to its old high standard.

There is no place like this in Canada as an indoor Waterpark adventure. We had the best time! It really felt like a summer vacation. We tried the zip line, flow rider, wave pool, and various water slides. Unfortunately we arrived too late ( 12 noon) we didn't have the chance to purchase tubes and they are good use for the wave pool and some water slides you would have to line up for so it helps skip the wait on the inflatable tubes they provide for those specific slides. So arrive at 10 am if that is something you are interested in. Staff at each station was very nice, and it was nice to see how LGBTQ2 friendly the staff was. The change rooms provide shelves for shoes in the entrance, lockers are $10 medium size and $15 for the large size per day. Towels are a $3 rental fee, so you won't have to worry about bringing your own towels. Do bring your own soap and shampoo items with you as they do not provide these items when rinsing off the chlorine. 3 hours was good enough for both of us to have an awesome time. We didn't like the fast food menu items, so we ended up exploring the food court in the mall instead.

Fun place to spend a few days. The wave pool is awesome and the slides offer a great variety. Some are long, some are unique, and they all vary in intensity. It’s also super warm in the park and the water. Feels like a destination holiday in Edmonton in the middle of winter! Only complaint is that the food is below average and the lines get very long in the middle of the afternoon (20-35 minutes per slide).

We went over the holidays and had lots of fun. I am giving it 3 stars because they run out of inflatables around noon, so they only had a few available. The same thing happened with the double and triple tubes for the slide. They only had around 7, so the lineup to get one of those to be able to use the slide was around 1h. There were hundreds of people there, so if they are doing that because of Covid I understand; however, those big lineups are even worse.

Tired of not being able to go to the beach? Feel like taking a budget summer beach day? A great way to spend a day with kids and family at the World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall. It’s huge once you step inside and the slides were humongous. Lots of options for people of all age groups. We visited on a weekday and even then it was busy so I wouldn’t at all recommend visiting on a weekend. Kids have a lot of separate options like smaller pool and a separate playground waterpark. For those who are old and just wanna chill, there are seats and even a hot tub. The larger and more extreme slides as the name suggests are more fun and steeper and faster. The staff and lifeguards are well trained and prepared, with the areas being well kept and maintained. Washrooms and locker rooms are also pretty decent. The tickets are 50+ a head but there are a lot of options and slides which you can ride multiple times if it’s not busy which makes it worth it. The wave pool on my visit was pretty good with very frequent and good level waves. I would love to visit again and would recommend. It is just a wild sight from the top!

I saw this place the first time I visited WEM, so I decided to give it a try, it didn’t fail me at all. The place is huge, nice and clean, the access is perfect, you can buy your tickets in advance so you can avoid the lines, lockers were clean, and well organized, the idea of a bracelet to open your locker is more than efficient and perfect, although the water has chlorine, is tolerable and understandable because of the amount of people in the park every day, the slides are just amazing, different levels for everyone, some of them were super intense and others were nice and calmer, facilities were in perfect conditions, and clean which leads me to the next point, staff members, everyone was nice from the entrance to the lifeguards and they gave you proper instructions for each attraction, and looked after if you have any situation. It is worth every cent you pay for. I definitely come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sooooo busy and sooooo expensive. After paying $200 for my family to get in, they want $15 for a locker, $9 each for a tube, so $45 for us, then if you turn your back on your tube for one minute, some teenager has stolen it. Everyone puts towels on the deck chairs and doesn't use them so my 2 year old had to nap on the floor. Can't bring in outside food... Got everyone hot dogs for lunch, cold, and rock hard buns, for $42. Slide line ups are taking 45 minutes so we did 2 and gave up and stayed in the pool. Just not worth the money for an average income family. Fun for the rich maybe.

A large indoor water park is located in the shopping center. Friendly staff, large changing rooms (prices for a locker are overpriced). On a day off, there are many people, queues for the slides, jacuzzi. There are steep waves in the pool, but there are too many people, which can be dangerous. Sunbeds are mostly occupied.

I bought my tickets and got 50% off through West Edmonton Hotel, as we stayed there. Fantasyland Hotel offers the same deal. Wearing a mask is required in non aquatic areas. There is a nice area for kids with nice water slides and fountains to play with. Some water slides in the adults area were closed! Be careful: Some adult slides are not safe for the kids (especially if they don’t know how to swim) even if their height meets the minimum height allowed. You need to check how deep is the water they will end up going through at the end of the slide. The place is well maintained and clean. The food is not really good at the kiosk inside the waterpark.

We had an amazing time! The World Waterpark is an experience not easily forgotten. From the enormous kids area, to the absurd amount of slides. Oh, there's also a zip line and bungee jump tower. If you're so inclined you spend some extra money and get a private cabana, giving you a space to relax with your friends or family. We simply had a blast. We never really bring towels and bags into a pool area, instead preferring to leave them in a locker. That way we're free to move around without having to worry about our stuff. We spent about 5 hours in the Waterpark and had to almost drag our kids out to be able to leave. They offer a convenient solution to bring cash into the park, you can put money into a wristband and the park will refund whatever you don't spend. We experienced most of the slides, varying from ones that need a tube (single, or double) to the superfast Nessies Revenge where you actually catch air between the drops. Such a great time. Was there anything that we didn't like? Yes. The efficiency of the pool employees is not great. When you're in line for a slide you'll be there for a while because it moves slow. Very slow. A few areas, particularly a path that is tilted upwards is very slippery. Some of the amenities were out of service, which for the amount of money you spend is kind of a let down. Because that's the last downside, you best be ready to spend an arm and two ribs to get into the park. Even the lockers are absurdly expensive. We paid $15 for what turned out to be a small sized locker. They have one more size, that's even smaller. Go, have fun, but make sure you bring your wallet!

Good experience my kiddo and family had a great time with the wave pool and the water slides. Do not miss the zip line, it was fun 15$ spent. The changing rooms needs better maintenance, and the restaurants had long wait times. It's a one time visit for the experience, but good to have better preparation on food and clothes for families who visit the place with kids.

It worths every penny you are gonna pay. We enjoyed a lot. Weekdays are not busy😍.

We had a kid's birthday here. I thought I would post some tips and suggestions in case someone else decides to do this. 1. Cabana. We originally rented the Pina Colada Rooftop Lounge because it was the largest space (up to 40 guests), but due to a construction scheduling issue they had to move us to the Sky Vista instead. Since the Sky Vista only allows 25 guests, they let us use both sides so it was actually a nice upgrade. The Sky Vista has nicer seating, TVs, fridges, and is a bit more isolated. For someone who wants a larger party (up to 50 people), I'm sure you could rent both sides of the Sky Vista and just move the dividers yourself. There's a water refill station and a restroom right beside the entrance to the stairs (note that these cabanas are only accessible by stairs). It's a fun location because you can watch the surfers wipe out from above. 2. Birthday Package. We also got the birthday party package for the kids. The food at Sharky's (conveninently adjacent to the party area) was waaaay better than the food I previously had at Beachview Snacks on a previous trip. Note that the birthday party package does not include any decorations or treat bags at all (unless you pay extra). It does include tubes and a meal at Sharky's though, so it's not bad. 3. Cake. For the birthday cake, your only option is Marble Slab. The waterpark will provide plates, napkins, and plastic cutlery if you ask. However, I would advice having the cake delivered 10 minutes before you actually intend to eat it. The cake was frozen rock-hard. Also, they had to have a staff member escort the knife that you use to cut the cake, so she was stuck there for 20 minutes while we waited for it to thaw enough to cut it. Really, as much as I love Marble Slab cake, it would be easier if they just had an option for regular cake. 4. Logistics. If you order a cabana, you can enter with your group through the priority entrance on the main floor. However, this can get a bit chaotic with a larger group. I would recommend starting your party at least 30 minutes, or maybe even an hours after the waterpark opens so you can enter and set up in advance before everyone gets there. (If you do this, double-check to make sure they will let you in without the rest of the party, though.) 5. Value. The kids loved this, even though it was a bit stressful for me...lol. I'm not sure if I would do it this way again - the waterpark was not overly busy so we probably could have just set up camp in one of the dining areas and not paid for the Cabana. It was definitely a nice experience, though.

We’ve been going every year or so on a weekday as a family, from out of town. Our whole family really enjoys it. We always buy passes on some sort of sale, otherwise it’s too expensive. Food prices are ridiculous in my opinion, $7 for a sub par hotdog, $4.50 for extremely over cooked kettle chips! You should be allowed to bring in your own snacks. Family change-room was being renovated so I’m excited to see updates as last time they were dated. All and all a great visit.

10 years ago, it was great! Not anymore.. Their pricing is too much! Plus you have to pay for everything; locker, swimsuit dryer, tubes etc. Maybe next time they'll charge you with the water you will accidentally drink while your swimming in the pool! 🙄😂 Not worth the money!

My girls loved the water park. It was their first time and had so much fun. It was really busy but the lineup went really quick and was maybe a minute or 2 to get in. The wristbands for lockers is good but expensive. The lineups for the slides on weekends are quite long but worth the wait. I think the best part is the wave pool. Waves are nice and big and so much fun especially if using the tubes. Definitely a good way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Love this mall. Not much of a shopper but with all the fun stuff within makes it the best.

Busy for a weekday - you'll end up waiting in line (5-20 minutes) to go on a slide. The slides are fun! The changing room looks old and was dirty despite the pool just opening when we arrived. The wave pool is awesome, but you end up hitting other people as the waves carry you. Very expensive at $64 a person, and any add-ons like inflatable donuts or the zipline cost extra. For such a high price, it's time they modernize the surroundings. Alcohol should not be sold at a place like this.

Very beautiful place with many useful stores. Unique layout and beautiful views. The security of this area is not very good though, it can be dangerous especially at night. Wouldn't recommend visiting alone but would definitely recommend going with friends or family.

Whyte Ave used to be full of funkiness with lots of shops that you can find things nowhere else, street performers and lots of restaurants, you can spend hours walking up and down this place. Now it’s being over run by homeless and those neat shops are closing down, it’s smelly and bunch of bars there with sketchy people. The sidewalks are cracking n can be dangerous

2022 June 4★ Any science center is great for kids. This science center is a bit smaller than some other science centers, but is in the process of expansion. There are two levels of displays and a movie dome. See the map/pictures for what to expect. Current exhibit is an Apollo display. Great for all ages, but well suited for kids about 12 and under. Expect to spend about 2 hours here. Free parking.

Fun place for kids and adults. Lots of things to do. Current Dino feature exhibit is pretty good (March 23, 2024) see pics. Kids activities are all included in admission which is great.

Definitely geared towards young children (3-10). Lots of fun little activities for them. Adults, less so. Wasted a few hours away here doing things made for children lol. I did learn a few things so there's that. The space section is definitely the best. My siblings loved designing their own rocket and trying to get it to take off. Driving the mock rover was fun but trying to actually accomplish the mission is impossible. But I'm a terrible driver irl so maybe thats why. The Zeidler dome is aight. It's comfy, I almost fell asleep. The main exhibit is James Cameron under the sea which is too bad. Dinosaurs would have been cooler. Parking is free. Gift shop way overpriced but that's too be expected.

One of the best science Centers in western Canada. Lots for kids of all ages, adults too. You can spend a very productive day with the exhibits plus the iMax theatre and planetarium projectors which are both amazing sights and sounds. We also tried on the insight restaurant and the hot grill items were really good and defied expectations in a very positive way. You will enjoy your day here.

We recently purchased a family membership again and were able to enjoy a fun filled day at TWOSE. Since our kids are a little older now, they're definitely more interested in the exhibits and educational aspects associated with TWOSE (not just Curiouscity). It also helps that they make things fun for young and old alike. The Art of the Brick exhibit is amazing. The kids were quite interested in seeing everything that could be made with Lego, but missed out on a lot of the details of the exhibits due to their age. My wife and I were quite astounded by the entire exhibit, especially when it came to the pieces that were included in the artwork and photography. We also enjoyed some fun science activities at the Syncrude Science Stage, the Science Garage, Health Zone, Space Gallery, the Aurora show in the Ziedler Dome. On our way out, we stopped at the RASC Observatory and we all got a chance to see the crest of Venus and safely observe the sun through a number of telescopes. All the staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We're definitely looking forward to future trips and using our membership at other science centres, such as the Telus Spark in Calgary.

Went today to experience the partial solar eclipse. There were tons of others there to do the same. We stood in line for the observatory. The line was very long but enjoyable with random info being shared and items like stickers and pens being handed out. Once we got to the observatory there were a few telescopes to look through and not just at the sun. Lots of very neat info shared by the astrophysicists at the observatory thank you.

Incredible place for visit. Learned a lot about the one person submarine of James Cameron. New building added and finally Telus begin to have the nice look it deserves.

A great place for the kiddos to explore and experience learning & fun. There is a great zone for smaller toddlers, and then all the exhibits for kids/adults of all ages. It takes multiple trips to enjoy & take everything in. Absolutely worth going to if you need to burn off some energy for a few hours with the little ones.

Amazing place to go with your family, friends and partner. Growing up, I always came here for field trips and created so many memories here. I highly recommend checking this place out, especially their theater!

They always have different imax shows going on only avilable at twos. Gift shop and cafeteria is pretty expensive. The new remodel couple years ago is really nice. Was very busy on the opening weekend of the dinosaur exhibit.

We love it here! So many great exhibits that are a ton of fun for children of all ages. The interactive of the different exhibits is wonderful. My kids and I went from driving a rover on the moon, to launching rockets, to solving all kinds of puzzles, building cool things, climbing rock walls and so so much more! The cafeteria is decent and affordable which is perfect for refuelling before continuing the fun for the day. Multiple trips are required to get the full enjoyment out of this place!

Lego exhibit was amazing, museum itself was nice too. It was very crowded but didn't have to wait anywhere. Probably more fun for kids, for adults not so much but still worth a visit definitely. Overall very happy we went 🌎🚀

We brought our 5 year old daughter who loves dinosaurs and our 6 month old son today. The dinosaur exhibit was really cool, and she loved the dig sites too. The rest of the science center was really fun and had us all interacting. The dome was also really cool. Even our 6 month old was captivated by the northern lights show. The staff were all amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share their knowledge with our daughter no matter how many questions she had. The play area had both of our kids entertained for at least an hour. The nursing nook was also a great surprise as I am still breastfeeding my son. It came in handy when he got hungry after some play time in the 3 and under area. The gift shop is a bit pricy, but they had a lot of cool stuff. We're already talking about going back sometime.

Really great educational experience for all ages but even more fun for children under 15. There is also a toddler play area as well. Not posting many photos to not spoil the experience. We chose the Lego exhibit as well as the science Center and well worth it! There is also a park in the back for those who choose to walk around more. Great spot for family time!

Very engaging and stimulating place for the kiddos! Many cool interactive exhibits and interesting displays. The little one had a great time running around all the areas. The dome shows are awesome and they even have a little cafe with food. A great place to waste a hot afternoon.

If you haven't checked this place out, you should. Pull up early and go for a walk on the path close by then head in. Absolutely stunning manifestations of different ecosystems combined into four main areas, my favorite was the Tropical section. There is a cafe on-site with some great options, staff at both are incredibly friendly and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. 10/10 will definitely go again.

I thought this place was much bigger than it actually is, but my expectations are not to blame. The place is good! You can take a glass of wine, listen to live music on occasion, walk through 4 small zones with plants and buy a couple of flowers for yourself under the inspiration of wine and what you see!

The Muttart Conservatory is always a nice place to visit. Admission is fairly inexpensive but it doesn't take long to go though everything. You can see it all in less than two hours, three if you stay for a coffee and visit the gift shop. The surrounding area is a nice park.

Always a beautiful experience with a lot of reviews to tell why. But here's three off-beat things of interest I found on my last visit... 1)If you look close enough you'll find some interesting and highly poisonous plants such as Hellibore. 2)The staff take banana tree cuttings to the nearby zoo for the Elephant to enjoy. 3)You can walk up on the "rooftop" of the pyramids which not only makes for an excellent photo backdrop but is also fun to look into from another perspective.

A must see when visiting Edmonton. Very family friendly (we visited with a 1 year old and a stroller, there were many other families with children of all ages there too). We visited on Thursday which allowed for longer viewing times into the evening. Normally they close at 5pm but are open from 5-9pm on Thurs, Fri, Sat for adults only (according to the website). We purchased our tickets at 4pm and stayed well past 5pm without anyone mentioning the adult only hours. We took our time in each location, going back to two of them to spend more time. Spending what we would consider a good amount of leisure time in each it was around an hour to take in all of the conservatory (also including bathroom breaks for everyone). You can spend considerably more time if you sit on one of the many benches and take in the scenery. Each of the 4 pyramids host a variety of plants all for specific climates: Temperate, Tropical, Arid, and one featuring a variety of flowers and crops. All pyramids are handicap accessible with automatic motion doors giving entry to each. Each pyramid features handicap accessibility to view everything, aside from a small portion of the Arid that does have some stairs. The entire conservatory is completely enclosed allowing access into each pyramid via a central foyer. There are large bathrooms at the central foyer location with many tables and chairs under a mini glass pyramid that shows views of the surrounding 4 larger pyramids.

Beautiful gardens! This was on our top 3 things to do when visiting Edmonton, and it was well worth it. We had a great time. So peaceful and not overly busy

Great place to go visit and buy plants. Admission was a good price and staff were very friendly. The different exhibits are all very well put together with the plants labeled. Very nice place to go to experience nature not usually found in Edmonton!

The pyramids never disappoint! So peaceful and beautiful. Clean and well-cared for. We took our relatives from out of town along and they also enjoyed it. Relaxing area in the indoor courtyard to play board games and sip a coffee. My kids also loved the scavenger hunt in the tropical pyramid. Feature pyramid was by the Orchid Preservation Society and was stunning.

The plants are wonderful and good to breathe, from God but the cafe diner I want to say no one disrespected me. I apologize for that. I was going through some stuff, and I took it up. I hope you guys can forgive me and hope next time I can try your sandwich. I enjoyed the London fog, and I felt it was a long shift; something could trigger people, but someone did disrespect me; it was not, but that's not on you guys. The plants make me feel better, and I just want to say that and see you again in spring. It's getting better and warmer. I had a good time. It was an upside-down moment because I saw a sign that said don't touch the goodies, and people looked at me like I was not touching anything. Happy New Year! All the best.

Loved the place and their collection of plants fro various regions. They have specifically maintained those from various regions according to their suitable climate conditions and temperature. Would have loved to walk by the pyramids at night from the outside, unfortunately couldn't find a path. Overall a great place to explore plants from various regions and truly a botanical paradise. Their Christmas festive offering is a treat to watch

Worthwhile to visit. There is free parking but the LRT is set up to run there soon but not yet ready as of July 2022. There are 4 separate pyramids each with different temperate zones for their respective plants. Lots of good photo ops, wedding photos, etc. There is a coffee shop with assorted goodies, and outside tables for nice days and gift shop to.

The location is good, there is a public transport stop nearby, and there is a large parking lot on the territory near the entrance. Immediately at the entrance is a seasonal area with tables and a cafe. Friendly and smiling employees at the reception. Botanical gardens are a large space with its own oases, tropical, asian and various ecosystems. Everyone will find their favorite plant here. On the way out, you can buy some types of flowers. A charming atmosphere prevails in each of the pyramids with musical accompaniment. A modern solution is a code next to the plant, scan it and you will be able to learn about the plant on the website. Thematic events are often held and there are beautiful photo zones.

We had been here once before but decided to visit again to see the special Lego exhibit. Theres a tropical pyramid, an arid, and temperate one. The fourth area is the special exhibit one. All three gardens are nice but each one is quite small. The cost is $14.50 per adult and there's free parking. There is also a small coffee shop with snacks. Overall worth seeing at least once but definitely wished it was bigger.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit. We took my mother in law to the Muttart Conservatory as she is visiting from the UK. She was so impressed with the experience. We loved the lego room and the little bits of lego found in and amongst the plants. The experience from start to finish was impressive. We made our way through the 4 different pyramids and took our time viewing the different plants. We also stopped in the cafe to have a little snack and cold drink. Lovely desserts and drinks with great prices. Very impressed with the experience.

This place exceeded my expectations. For two adults, it was under $30. The pyramids were so unique, and beautiful. It was like taking a vacation around the world. I recommend wearing a tshirt and sweater, as the temperature changes throughout the different pyramids. I was blown away by how many different plants were in each of the pyramids. Highly recommend checking it out!

A wonderful way to spend a weekday afternoon… out and about with our grandson… not too overly big .. but big enough to be engaging and enjoyable to walk around … we had an amazing day… searching for dinosaurs during the Giants in the mist exhibit … a bonus today for residents was we get a free entrance into the zoo as long as used within the next 3 weeks

Muttart Conservatory is a really great place to spend an hour or two. The difference between seasons makes this a great place to hit up a few times a year to see how the plants go through their cycles. There is always something new to see with the "Featured" biom! Great date idea.

this is one of the highly recommended places you should visit in Edmonton it's absolutely fascinating you'll be amazed and that's a promise timer facility is very well taken care of everything is meticulously maintained the plants are something out of a poet you can go there and relax and just lose yourself in the Beauty and charm of the plants

Very informative place to learn something about plants around the world. It’s divided into 4 zones, from the dessert plant to tropical plants, they have lots kind of collections. Every plant has its ID card explain its origin and feature, there is even QR code you can scan for more. We love the Asian plant zone lots of unique plants here. Hard to imagine how to keep those plants alive all season round. They have one zone for seasonal plants at this time (around Dec-Jan) they are display plants about Christmas. Lots parking near entrance, you will need to register you plate after you buy the admission.

Always a pleasurable visit. These indoor gardens are a relief during Albert's long winters. Glad to have such an amazing facility in our province. 4 pyramids each with their own climate, with one of them changing theme throughout the year. A must visit!

Had a great time visiting Muttart! The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledge. It was my first visit so they gave me the rundown when I first arrived and made personal recommendations on their favorite things to look for. Once inside the pyramids, you are free to just walk and wander or sit and enjoy the greenery on one of the many benches. If you have questions or are curious about specific plants, the people working are more than happy to show you around or tell you about the different species they have. The feature pyramid is quite cool. They had it set up as a dinosaur feature when I went but the lady there explained to me that it changes every couple of months and it’s always something different. I can’t wait to visit again in the summer!
