France Miniature
Theme park
Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Seasonal theme park, built in the shape of the nation, with miniature models of French landmarks.
Really enjoyed our time at France Miniature. Over 100 models that were very detailed, clearly marked. Both adults and kids were impressed with them. But what kept us interested the whole time were the trains that kept running on the various tracks alongside and through the miniature models. We also enjoyed the rides at the mid point part of the route. It was well planned and a great break for the kids. Highly recommend.
S Stackhouse — Google review
Far outside Paris and overpriced, this parc offers miniatures of most of the sights of France in one place. Some miniatures are pretty dirty and sometimes even damaged but it’s good enough.
On the other hand, 23€ per adult and 17€ per child 4 or older is absolutely outrageous for what you’re getting in return. Parking is not free and costs 4€ on top of the tickets.

Great place to discovery where your next vacation stop can be
Kids enjoy the rides
3-4 hrs is a good time to spend in there !!!

While it is beautiful better to save €6 by booking online. We tried and the site kept failing to accept. Loved to see all places in one place and in perfect miniature 😀

Today I visited france miniature.
I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The park was clean, well-maintained, full of fun attractions for kids of all ages.
My advice to anyone visiting the park is to arrive early to avoid the crowds and bring plenty of sunscreen and water. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and memorable day out with their kids. It's the perfect place for families to bond and have fun together.
MST — Google review
We had a great time as a family even though we didn't finish our visit because the children were tired. I would recommend it 100 percent 😍😍👌👌
Joyce Lotomba — Google review
2nd time. Love it. For adults and children, it is a fantastic outing. Take your time, take a picnic, and take some change for the kids.
I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we did 😍
Bam Bou — Google review
A nice place to visit with the kids, they loved the attractions. But sad that the sculptures where didn't taken care of (some of them wore broken) also that the gras and bushes had grown so that you couldn't see some of the miniatures.
Malin F.C — Google review
It's nice, but many parts of the park need reparation. Also, the price of food inside the park is too high. €19 for the fish and chips!

Great place to take the family to learn about important monuments in France. Everything is spread out so you do not feel crowded. Many things for the young ones to do!
Joyce Dumont (Not lost Just a wanderer) — Google review
A nice place to visit. We were surprised to see around us 5 buses with kids various ages which created a "childish" and noisy entrance. However, the place is so large that eventually you don't feel the congestion.
The miniatures are nicely made and we enjoyed them more and more as we moved along the guiding brochure. There are over 100 miniatures made with trains running around. All that makes the wondering around quite joyful. Some miniatures are more appealing, some are less. But bottom line we did enjoy the visit.
Recommended.
Arie Rozichner — Google review
It’s an OK afternoon. The models are nice and it’s well worth a visit. Half a day is enough. For history buffs I’m sure it’s a great blast. Bring your own picnic lunch.
James Joint — Google review
A must-see museum with an amazing architecture details level for each site. Recommended for families and people interested in the history of France and the amazing construction art of the Middle ages.
In addition, there's a kids' playground and a fort boyard spot for 4/5 challenges
The Arc de Triomphe is a landmark of Paris, built to commemorate Napoleon's victories. The arch is 164 feet high, and features an observation deck. It is one of the most popular monuments in Paris after the Eiffel Tower.
My most favorite view of Paris and definitely a highlight of the city!
I have visited many times in the past, but it never ceases to amaze me how grandiose this building is. During my last visit, I waited around 10 minutes to purchase the ticket and another 5 minutes to go through security - all reasonable times, however next time I would buy tickets online.
Once I walked up the twisting stairs (there is no elevator for the general public) I entered a lobby where toilets are located, and continued to the roof. I spent about half an hour at the roof deck, walking around and enjoying the view of the city. It was not really busy, people were just chilling, relaxing, and taking pictures. It was really lovely to watch the buzz down there by the roundabout and traffic at Champs-Elysees. As the sun was setting it created fabulous photo opportunities over the La Defense neighborhood. On the way down I passed by a quite large gift shop and watched a couple of videos in the lobby right under the roof deck.
I saved some time to walk around the Arc and enjoy the beauty of it. Definitely a place to return to when in Paris! Visited in May 2022.

Highly recommend a visit. Watch the stairs though. When we arrived in Paris I wasn't feeling very well but persisted with the climb. Thank goodness there is a rest point, seats, information displays over half way up with the viewing camera looking directly below. Once at the top, you are greeted with 360 views of the beautiful Paris laid out before you. Enjoy the distant views and the amazing feats of endurance, skill and nerve of the drivers circling around the roads below you. Such an amazing monument and totally worth the visit any time of day or night.
Janine G — Google review
It was a great view at the top and the monument itself was beautiful. The only note I would say is don't carry a pocket knife around as you will be denied entry. I was able to sort everything out.

A must visit historical site in Paris in Eiffel Tower district. We walked through the underground tunnel to the ticket window, hardly waited 5 minutes in the line before we got ours. They check your bags and you walk through a scanner. Beware there are quite a few stairs to climb, approximately 284 steps to the first floor on a spiral staircase and then there are more steps to reach the other two floors including the terrace. There's also an elevator to the main floor. From the top one can see the beautiful city. There's a beautiful souvenir shop also where you'll find things, at good prices, stationary is beautiful and I did not find such pretty notebooks anywhere else. Washrooms on the same floor. Once down, there's the tomb of the unknown soldier. Overall great experience!

Arc de Triumph is one of the places one must see when in Paris. This monument is simply majestic. The history behind it is so rich and breathing. We visited on a sunny Friday morning, as we wanted to beat the busy times, which usually start at around noon.
We did bot reserve but instead got tickets directly at the desk after a short wait. Once you enter, you get to clime a spiral staircase, which leads to the 1st floor where all the history information is displayed and as well as interactive screens, shops and lavatories, etc. You also ge a breather as these stairs are steep.
Once you reach the top, you one will be Wowed. If you get nice weather, you see Paris differently. This is done to the positioning of the monument.
One has the feeling that you are on the centre as all 11 avenues lead to it.
On each corner of the arch, there is an interactive map that shows you all the landmarks that you can see in the distance.
Watching the public, traffic, and city life from the top one feel mighty and glorious. Great experience

Beautiful monument to soldiers and a must see in Paris. Crazy roundabout that surrounds it so be careful, if crossing. Didn’t get a chance to go up to the top but it was amazing to see from the ground. We had fun trying to figure out the traffic pattern too.
Robert Clarke — Google review
I didn't get a chance to get inside but definitely enjoyed walking around it and admiring this architectural art. You can surely take enough photos with it although many people are visiting there every day every hour. Be careful not to pass the road by walking, that's dangerous and wrong. There are different underground passes that will do the work. One of the must visit places in Paris, and looks like it is better to visit it by climbing it up and also getting an astonishing view of Paris.
Tim B — Google review
The Arch is definitely worth the visit once in Paris. There is so much to learn about its history and architecture. It is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, France, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées.
We visited the arch on a weekday. There was a very long line up and we had to wait for around 15 minutes though we had initially thought we could get easy access with the Paris museum pass.
Booking tickets in advance is highly recommended.
Shab — Google review
Famous street and monument. Great spot to take pictures and walk around. Remember that to get in front of the monument you need to walk under the street by taking the stairs down. This will take you directly in front of the monument. Some people are not aware of this and just run through traffic which you’re not supposed to do and is dangerous. Great place and picture spot.
Guillermo Rangel — Google review
Absolutely excellent and well worth a visit, it is especially worth paying for a visit to the top for a spectacular view with some very interesting facts along the way. Be warned there are over 200 steps to the top, however I believe there is an elevator installed for disabled access.
We came at an off peak time of year (February) minimal waits and minimal other humans.
We also recommend buying tickets in advance as it makes the process much quicker and stress free.
Ryno89 Mor — Google review
I was there on a French holiday so the lines were long. Buying tickets in advance was nice to avoid two lines. The rooftop access has wonderful view of the entire city. Be prepared for a lot of stairs.
Robert Forrester — Google review
Majestically charming place in the centre of Paris. Beautiful architecture and overall vibe. Use the underpass to get there, do not run across the roundabout. Place is well maintained and clean. Many tourists visiting at every hour of the day.
Young Quagmire — Google review
Beautiful arc in the centre of the roundabout and easy to get through by tunnels. Amazing views from the top and I would highly recommend going at night as it’s the perfect place to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle. I was lucky enough to watch a procession while visiting
Yash P — Google review
Great view at the top, not a bad entry fee at €13 for over 18s. Under 18s do go for free, however I believe they still need to queue up?
Would highly recommend booking a ticket online it's way quicker and you don't have to queue for ages.
Well maintained, has other parts to it. All round very good.
Luca Baker — Google review
The climb to the top was very physically demanding. But the view from the top is beautiful! We even saw a ceremony for the unknown soldier when we came back down. Definitely worth a visit, especially in the evening when the whole city lights up! Recommend to purchase a museum pass or book tickets beforehand rather than buying a ticket there.

I understand why Paris Is an amazing place to have Educational field trip for Architecture students… it is simply one of the best cities that have this kind of experience to see human structural creations. It’s huge and really busy on weekends so we got lucky to see it on a weekday like this. People are taking pictures from the middle of the street so be careful please lol

The Triumphal Arch is a historic symbol of Parisian grandeur and beauty. Its majestic architecture and imposing presence are impossible to miss. Climbing to the top, you'll discover breathtaking views of the city's central streets. This place not only inspires but also fills you with a sense of reverence for France's history and culture. I recommend everyone to visit the Triumphal Arch and experience its greatness firsthand🫶🏼.

The Arc de Triomphe was one of the highlights of our trip, ranking among the best monuments we visited. The view from the top was breathtaking, offering a panoramic perspective of the city. Additionally, ascending the monument and reading about the remarkable historical events and evolving political climate over the years was truly fascinating.

It is one of the most beautiful piece of architecture at most famous street Champs Elysees. One can reach here from main road via tunnel. In a busy season it is always very crowded. One can go up by stairs or by lift. The ticket costs 12 euro. It is worth seeing during day and night.
Balkrishna Shroff — Google review
Need to take tickets to head up the stairs. View from terrace during the night is fantastic. Pick your ticket around 7.50 PM to view the Eiffel sparkle. It looks fantastic from the top. Make sure you go ahead of your time and reach the roof before 8 PM

The Arc de Triomphe in Paris is simply breathtaking. Its grand design and intricate carvings tell the story of France's history. Climbing to the top rewards you with an incredible view of the city, especially at sunset. Just be prepared for crowds, so aim to visit early or during quieter times. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone in Paris, offering both beauty and history in one iconic landmark.

A must landmark to visit when in Paris. Recommend a visit to the top of it as well, purchase tickets for about $16 euro for adult. Lots of steep stairs to walk to the top but the view is worth it. Awesome views of Paris!!❤️🇫🇷
So much history in this landmark, with a museum inside it u the top. Very popular place with tourists. Go through underground tunnel to get underneath the Arc de Triomphe, and purchase your tickets in the tunnel before exiting.
Ashley Schmidt — Google review
Amazing views of the city. Buy tickets ahead of time to skip the line. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps. I would suggest going about 30-45 minutes before sunset and get great pics of the city, and get a spot on the south side facing Eiffel. When the sun goes down the regular lights come on, and the next top of the hour the twinkling lights come on. So if sunset is 7:01 then the twinkle lights start at 8:00 so be prepared to wait if that’s the case. Can be cool and windy up top as well.
The imposing, domed white Sacré-Cœur Basilica was built in 1875 after the Franco-Prussian War and the Paris Commune. It is a symbol of the conservative Catholic old guard and contrasts with the bohemian lifestyle that surrounded it. The breathtaking view from its upper parvis over Paris is a major draw for visitors.
Absolutely amazing piece of architecture and a bonus breathtaking view of the city. The church itself is beautiful and sits on a cliff where you have to take a cable car 🚠 uphill but even the view of the church from the bottom is wonderful.
WittyBoi — Google review
This is one of the best locations to visit while in Paris. I would say first place, especially if you aren't lazy enough to walk around and inhale the spirit of old Paris. Each time we visit this Basilica we find something new!
Volodymyr H — Google review
Stunning cathedral! It is located on top of the hill of MontMartre which is such a stunning little district of Paris, like how they depict it in the movies. Winding roads, cobblestone, old buildings and little paths and stairways up, lots of explore.
You can go inside and visit the cathedral for free, and sometimes there is a live mass occurring. It is beautiful inside.
You can also see Paris from atop at a vantage point here.
Carole Wang — Google review
This was the most wonderful place I visited while in Paris! I fell in love with this cathedral the moment I saw it from afar. The outside of the cathedral is absolutely gorgeous. The inside is breathtaking. Definitely the most beautiful Cathedral I’ve ever been to. They offer the Eucharist at various times of the day as well as confessions. I arrived early in the day, therefore I didn’t have to wait in line to enter. I spent 3-4 hours here.
Stephanie Sanchez — Google review
This place was unexpected. Our tour guide took us here without having known of it prior to going and boy were we surprised how beautiful and amazing it was! From the first time we saw it while walking up through the alley to the time spent walking through the church to admire all the detail we were captivated! And if that wasn’t enough when you walk out you will see some of the best views of Paris! It is well worth the trip! Do some research before going if you require any assistance getting around as there are cobble streets and a steady incline getting to and leaving the area.
Jimmy Ferrazas — Google review
There it stands beautiful on the top of the hill. Breathtaking! Climbing up the stairs I was astonished by the wonderful views of the city and the history marked on every step. Free admission. Totally worth the stairs climbing.

One of the best places to visit. The white domed cathedral located in Paris is an amazing place to see. The view is great from the cathedral. There is a metro station nearby and you need to climb a few steps to reach the hill top. The cathedral is beautiful from both outside and Inside. The view of Paris is stunning. There is also a cable car directly to the hilltop.
Mohammed Riyan — Google review
One of the most beautiful (and most busy) churches in Paris. You can take the tram or hike up a few flights of stairs. We got lucky and saw a service in process. The music acoustics were amazing. Small prayer candles (€2) large candles (€10). Cash and card are accepted. It is 7€ to go the top look out portion, 270+ Steps! No bathrooms. Tons of vendors selling souvenirs by the steps. If you walk down to the street there are plenty of other souvenir shops. Definitely a must see! Worth the steps to see the view!
Ps, Bring a lock and key if you and your loved one want to place your lock on the exterior fence.
Claire Bonnepart — Google review
It is a beautiful white cathedral spotted at a really high place of the French capital, Paris. From there is possible to see almost whole city.
And to get inside of the edification is possible too, from where you can have even better view of Paris, after climbing the tower. The inside is also nice.
Other nice touristic place of this city!!!
NAKA JONES — Google review
What a magnificent cathedral inside and out. It offers a quiet atmosphere and you can visit a magnificent temple. From the outside, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Paris. Easy to access, there's a cheap cable car/funicolare.

A beautiful basilica Sacré-Cœur (Funicular) in France. Standing on top of a hill, vastly looking with white doms and a wide scenic view of Paris city from the church boulevard. Amazing external and internal architecture with an ancient look. We have to climb many steps and can use the transport system of an inclined elevator to the top from the bottom level for the cost of 2 euros. Very interesting to understand the culture and the belief. We can see many tourists fixing the padlocks on a fence as part of their love. Surrounding we can see many artists sitting and drawing, painting the portraits specially in a particular area. In history Pablo Picasso and many artists who spent their time over there. Tourists can get their portraits painted or pencil sketched and buy souvenirs from there. A really peaceful place to visit in Paris.

The Eiffel Tower, a controversial yet iconic structure built in 1889 for the World's Fair, is a popular tourist destination and attraction in Paris. The tower provides an orientation point for the city and is located on the Champ de Mars. It is best accessed on Line 6 or 8 of the Paris Metro. Peak hours are usually avoided to avoid overcrowding. Jules Verne, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the top of the tower, is currently closed for renovation.
I mean, come on...it's the Eiffel Tower! This is a magical place. The view of Paris from the top is absolutely breathtaking. The day we went it was not too crowded, so it made things much easier. This was part of our Honeymoon and I am.so glad we got to experience it! The staff we encountered were extremely helpful and kind. You can tell they enjoy what they do. We walked here (which was quite the hike) from Notre Dame, so getting here was well worth the effort! We will definitely be back......someday!

Superb view day & night!
The view from the ground is very good. There is no need to go up for capturing a picture, but it's good to enjoy taking a walk to the tower. Best to take a ticket online(I prefer walking till the second level and coming down(€10)). The city view from the second level is more beautiful and clear than from the top level. Also we are here to see the tower, not the city view! Walking till the second level is a little hard task, so if you are capable of only walking, otherwise take the lift.

The most magical thing to witness at night.
This was a bucket list thing for me, and I wasn't remotely disappointed. It's breathtaking and I wish I could visit more often. The lights sparkle every hour on the hour for anyone waiting for that.
If you cross the street you can get some full great views of it also.

A must-see in the city of Paris. I have seen from multiple locations throughout. It is gorgeous and stunning to see both day and night. We also took a river boat tour up close to the Eiffel Tower and would recommend it. We went up to the first look out, but didn't go any further.

The Eiffel Tower is an architectural marvel and an absolute must-visit when in Paris. As you ascend its iron lattice structure, you're treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the City of Light. From the bustling streets below to the serene Seine River weaving through the city, every angle offers a picturesque snapshot of Parisian charm.
The tower itself is a testament to engineering brilliance and serves as a symbol of France's rich cultural heritage. While the queues can be long, the experience is well worth the wait.
Whether you're admiring it from afar or standing atop its lofty heights, the Eiffel Tower never fails to captivate and inspire.

The most spectacular and wonderful place in Paris. The Eiffel tower is historical place, but looks modern at the same time. The view from the top of the Eiffel is magnificent and breathtaking. The view of skyscraper and different historical places are amazing. The real beauty of Eiffel is in the evening, when it shines with colorful lights. It is one of the amaze of Engineering

Paris is an incredible experience with innumerable museums, parks, restaurants and beautiful sites but the Eiffel Tower is one of the most interesting places to visit.
The view from the top is breathtaking but it's not the only thing to enjoy.
Around the tower we can find hundreds of souvenirs sellers, people from all parts of the world, restaurants, street artists and many other surprises. There is a flow of energy which makes the visit a remarkable experience.

There were a TON of people there. However, we still could take amazing photos. There were tons of vendors there that provided water, photography, and souvenirs! Although it was very warm there, by the time it was 11pm, the Eiffel Tower was glowing brightly lighting up everything around it. I would recommend for tourists to come see this if they haven’t for the first time. What a beauty!

Of course you'll go to the Eiffel Tower in Paris! But did you know you can climb it too! We walked up and bought tickets on the day. Expect crowds if the weather is good. You must go through security so leave the big bags behind. You can opt for stairs or the elevator. If you want to go to the top there will be another queue you can expect for the second elevator after people have taken in the views and pictures at the first level. There are many vendors around the bottom for trinkets so you don't have to buy at the gift shop.
the top was closed. There was also a lot of construction/remodeling equipment under and on the tower due to preparations for the 2024 Olympics. Nevertheless, our elevator ride up to level 1 and 2 was a great experience. I suggest going in the late afternoon so that you can experience the tower in daylight and nighttime. We did this, and we have a great variety of beautiful photos. The views of Paris from the 2nd floor are breathtaking.

Visiting the Eiffel Tower was an absolute highlight of our trip, and it left us in awe of its beauty and the breathtaking views it offered.
We gone to top of Eiffel Tower with lift and the Ticket price was 28 EURO per person without Guide. And no visit to a world-famous attraction is complete without a bit of waiting, and we queued up for about an hour before we could step foot inside the tower. While the wait was a tad long, it was entirely worth it for the unforgettable experience that awaited us at the top. Plus, it gave us a chance to soak in the anticipation and excitement of the other visitors around us.
We decided to ascend to the second floor, and the experience was nothing short of magnificent. As we reached that elevation, we were greeted with a panoramic view of Paris that truly took our breath away. It's amazing how different a city can look from such a lofty vantage point. The sweeping vistas of iconic landmarks, the winding Seine River, and the sprawling cityscape were a sight to behold.
In the end, our visit to the Eiffel Tower was an absolute triumph. The memories of those astonishing views will stay with us forever, and the hour-long wait was a small price to pay for such an iconic and mesmerizing experience. If you're ever in Paris, don't miss the opportunity to ascend this legendary landmark. It's a memory you'll cherish for a lifetime.
Mohd Faraz — Google review
We went with a tour company which allowed us to get through the queues faster- that was worth it. We also bought summit tickets. It was cool going up to the summit (a little nauseating) but in terms of enjoying the views the second floor did the job. Be mindful that there is a another queue on the second floor to get to the summit.
Overall it’s well worth going but be prepared for crowds and queues.

Wow wow wow!! Spectacular! An iconic monument! It's a wonderful experience holding hands of your loved one and walking by the Eiffel Tower in 'city of love'.
Equally good to watch both day & night. I personally liked the night view especially the glitter light effect of the tower that come on every 30minutes! The queue to access the monument is not worth the wait unless you really want to go in. It is indeed an unforgettable experience you must not miss out! 100% recommended!!

Gorgeous no doubt, worth to go day and night each at least. I preferred night view more. Must walk along the garden path below. Such a good place to chill up with wine and music. I didn’t gone up the tower coz I think it looks way stunning from a distance. The restaurant around are great but be careful of those pressuring hard tips from customer

If you're reading this, you're probably going to visit no matter what you read in reviews, so I'll focus on things to know about visiting.
1. In June 2023, the tower is being painted. I read it will no longer be brown, but a more yellow-brown shade. You can still go up, and the efforts are pretty unobtrusive, but there is some safety netting up and some small areas on the observation decks that are blocked off for painters.
2. One person in our party is in a wheelchair. She was able to go up one lift (I believe the second floor), but could not go to the top.
3. The grounds underneath the tower are under some construction, I presume to prepare for the 2024 Olympics. As a result of that and a fair number of people on the day of our visit, restrooms were limited and lines were long.
4. We visited the tower during the day but stayed in the area to get a view of it at night. It's a truly beautiful sight, even more so at night. If you do go at night, be sure to have a good viewing spot at the top of the hour, as that's when the lights sparkle.
5. We bought tickets in advance, but there was still a pretty long wait. It's a huge tourist attraction after all, so be prepared.

At first when I saw it, nothing happened. Then I went near by and there was huge tower. Then when I went to upper side it was super view. Then in evening when I was just going on river cruise at that time it took my heart. It was so beautiful to see it skinning like gold. It is always so many people so better to get all tickets booked online. Staff was helpful however many people not know English. But overall please visit it in evening for spectacular view.

It’s iconic and popular for a reason-I consider this a must visit in Paris! Highly suggest getting tickets ahead of time to go to the top, that way you can avoid waiting 1-2 hours in line. We went near sunset and it was breathtaking and really makes you appreciate the size of the city. Go to the lawn at dark and just take in the awesome vibe of the park and watch the tower light up every hour-it’s a total core memory!

Experiencing the Eiffel Tower illuminated from below was a breathtaking moment that truly captivated my senses. I yearned to linger, seated in awe, absorbing its magnificence from varied perspectives. Witnessing the lifts ascend to the summit and descend mirrored the enchanting journey of my admiration. Reflecting on my childhood, where a small tower adorned my home, and now beholding its majestic counterpart in person, fills me with an overwhelming sense of gratitude. ☺️

The Eiffel Tower is truly an iconic masterpiece that captures the heart and soul of Paris. From its magnificent structure to its breathtaking views, this architectural wonder leaves a lasting impression on all who visit.
From the moment you set foot near the tower, you are immediately captivated by its grandeur. The intricate iron lattice work and towering height are a testament to the engineering brilliance of Gustave Eiffel, the mastermind behind this extraordinary structure. As you approach the tower, you can't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for the sheer scale and beauty of the Eiffel Tower.
Climbing to the top of the tower is an experience like no other. The panoramic views of Paris from the various observation decks are absolutely breathtaking. From the sprawling cityscape, with its distinct landmarks and buildings, to the winding Seine River and beyond, every angle offers a new and mesmerizing perspective. It's as if you're witnessing the magic of Paris unfold right before your eyes.
Visiting the Eiffel Tower is undeniably a must-do when in Paris. It's a place that evokes a sense of wonder and appreciation for human achievement, while also providing an opportunity to create lifelong memories. Whether you visit during the day or at night, the Eiffel Tower's grandeur and beauty will leave you in awe, reminding you why it is one of the most beloved landmarks in the world.

It's the Eiffel Tower! Definitely buy your tickets in advance. People waited over 1.5 hours just to buy tickets to get in. There is an elevator and stairs to get up. The views are amazing. The place is very very busy. You can see most of Paris from the top!

Very busy, very windy. Wear good shoes and clothing that fits tightly. Bucket list memories made here. The night time views are spectacular, as both the tower and the city are full of lights. Great way to enjoy the City of Love.

During summer (August - September ) the evening slot after 17:30 is highly recommended as you can watch the beautiful Paris sunset. The most iconic and most visited place in Paris. Summit is highly recommended as you get the main spectacular 360 degree view of Paris. You get to see a different side of the city from here at the top. We were lucky to have experience the sunset from the Summit. Very very special in itself.

Extraordinary Views and Beautiful Engineering, but I would not go again to wait in the winter was 3 hours from the start until we got to the top of the tower at the top floor. The elevator ride is less than 90 seconds, but the line is absolutely horrendous. There are four elevators from each leg of the tower going up, but people take their time up top or course make it worth their while since it took 3 hours or so to get there. Plan on at the very least 1/2 day to do the Eiffel Tower, but I recommend just taking pictures from all the different streets in the first 500 meters away from the tower. Of course the experience is great to get up to the top but only once for me… I don’t like big crowds and people pushing you and you constantly have to touch or be touched by someone. Not my usual cup of tea. Great attraction and a big cash cow for France. I would own one if I could attract so many people and get that much cash out of it. Jan 1, 2024 was our visit to the tower at 4:30pm. If you can buy tickets to skip the line, and cash isn’t a problem, do that… the best views and pictures are from the 2nd floor.
Marcel Suciu — Google review
Definitely a must do in our lifetime! The premise was clean in all levels. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Be ready to do a little bit of a lane. One for security to get in, one to buy tickets, and others when taking the elevators (depending if what levels you are going)

The Eiffel Tower needs no introduction but is still an absolutely amazing place to visit! We were able to spend more time in Paris than we were planning after our connecting flight was cancelled, and we took the opportunity to go to the top of the tower, and enjoyed seeing the sun set from the top. This was mid-February, so it was off-season, and the wait times were not bad at all. We had to wait less than 10 minutes to purchase our tickets and less than 20 minutes total for the lifts. Adult fare for a trip to the top is 28 Euro, but we thought it was well worth it and was definitely a highlight of our short time in the city. After the tower tour we took a river boat cruise and enjoyed seeing the tower all lit up. The tower has sparkling lights that flash for 5 minutes every hour on the hour - very neat!
Kevin Horst — Google review
I personally believe this place don't need any kind of review but still I like the vibe here and also I will suggest everyone who are planning to visit is not to miss the light Show which happens every hour for 5 minutes. Besides that don't just take a view from the bottom but instead of that go to the top of the tower and enjoy the scenic view of the city in night.
You can pre-book the top view online so you don't have to wait in lines for the tickets.

The Eiffel Tower is an absolute marvel and an iconic symbol of Paris that exceeded all my expectations. Standing beneath its towering structure, you can't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The intricate lattice of ironwork is a testament to engineering brilliance, and the panoramic views of Paris from the various observation decks are simply breathtaking.
I recommend visiting at different times of the day to witness the tower's changing personality – whether it's the morning sun casting a warm glow or the sparkling lights that transform it into a beacon of romance at night. The elevator ride to the top provides a thrilling perspective of the city, and the informative displays along the way offer insights into the tower's history.
The Champ de Mars park surrounding the Eiffel Tower is a delightful place for a leisurely stroll or a picnic, offering a serene contrast to the bustling city beyond. From proposals and family photos to solo contemplation, the Eiffel Tower is an experience that caters to all. It's not just a landmark; it's a symbol of Parisian charm, elegance, and the enduring magic that captivates visitors from around the world.

The Musée d'Orsay is a world-renowned art museum located in the former railway station of Gare d'Orsay in Paris, France. Its collection spans the period from 1848-1914 and contains some of the most iconic paintings and sculptures produced during that time. The museum is popular with tourists, who visit for its vast array of impressionist and post-impressionist art.
One of my favorite museums in Paris for the temporary and regular exhibitions. The diversity of the collections is simply impressive. Another interesting side is the architecture of the museum. Last and not least the unique restaurant which is a regular step in every visit I do to this place. The view is stunning, the interior is so rich (ceilings, walls,…). I recommend this place with no hesitation!

Our most favorite museum in Paris. It's a wonderland if you are a fan of impressionist art. Admire the location of an old train station with its iconic clock aside from all the wonderful art on display from the greats including Monet, Rembrandt, Picasso, and many others. Prepare to spend half a day here if you really want to soak in the museum. Definitely buy tickets in advance for a timed slot if you do not want to spend hours just in queue, especially if you plan to visit during high season. If you are visiting only one museum in Paris make it this one.

This is the best museum I've been to because they carry so many of my favorite painters (the impressionists like Van Gogh, Cezanne, Manet, etc). This was better than the Louvre as it had a better collection in my opinion, but also because it was more manageable and had less people. The louvre was insanely crowded.
Jason Fair (Nomadic Nerd Project) — Google review
What an amazing museum. The architecture of the railroad station is a stunning setting for a “modern art” gallery. We were visiting on a Sunday so we started early at 10am. By midday the place was getting pretty busy. I’m glad we got the place to Preakness for a couple of hours. The temporary exhibit about the early years of cinema was really eye opening and beautifully presented. I’ve attached some photos of my favourite pieces.

Wonderful museum holding paintings, sculptures, and creations of world renowned artists. Definitely don't miss it if you're in Paris.
Get the tickets online or Paris Museum pass to skip the long line. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was way less crowded than the Louvre and it felt easier to stroll the museum more leisurely. Much smaller than the Louvre. We spent around 2 and a half hours here and enjoyed it a lot.

I like this museum better than the louvre especially the beautiful room on the second floor and the impressionist and post impressionist displays. Definitely recommend. It took me 3-4 hours to see the whole museum. They have cute restaurants here too u would have liked to try. Good gift shop! Recommend getting tickets ahead of time.

I booked tickets without a timeslot and arrived half an hour before the museum opened. I expected to wait in line for a long time but at 9:30 the line moved fast and I went straight in.
The museum is very pretty in a renovated train station. I spent almost 4 hours here. There are many beautiful impressionist and post impressionist artworks.

A great museum, large with multiple floors and covers some of history's finest in Van Gogh, Rodin, Monet etc.
You can buy tickets online or get them free if you are 18-26 and an EU citizen. Otherwise if you miss the online sales get there early (around 9:00AM) so you can pickup one at the door for €2 less and pop right in.
Lots of gift options inside as well as a restaurant and cafe. The building itself is elaborate and beautiful.
If sculptures and impressionist paintings aren't your thing don't go here. Otherwise, enjoy!

One of my favorite tourist spots for a first timer for Paris. This museum was easier to tolerate than the Louvre... I find the artworks in here more elegant and stylistic than the classic Louvre, which is boxy and less ornate and incredibly crowded to even stand being in there for an hour. This museum by contrast was easy to see in one visit and it was extremely satisfying.

Can this be anything but five stars? This houses one of the greatest collections of art on the planet. What really surprised me is how manageable it is in terms of size. It’s actually possible to do most of the galleries in one visit. I have not expected that, I think it helps that the grand concourse through the center is a glorious open space, filled with statuary that provides a respite from the intimacy of the galleries

I am a fan of the impressionists and this place is awesome!
Did a 90 minute guided tour which was well worth it both for the easy getting in and out, as well as for the help navigating the museum.
Much smaller than the Louvre, but still very large.
We came as it opened and it was not very crowded, definitely saw some lines when we were leaving.

It does not disappoint. My favorite floor was obviously the fifth but there is so much more as well. I had been reading about these paintings for twenty years but to get to see them in person is so different. It felt surreal and I love the layout of the museum and the friendly staff made it feel all the more dream like to me. Just standing in such close proximity to these beautiful pieces of art, that have inspired people for so many years, it was honestly hard to leave. Luckily there are lots of comfortable places to sit and although it’s a busy place for the most part, we felt like we weren’t rushed or that we couldn’t see what we wanted to see. All of the tags are in English and French, and their are English and other language maps available for the whole museum.

Amazing museum. All the paintings was exposed with such an amazing way that was very easy to understand the emotional situation that the artist wanted to show. Do not hesitate to take audio guide. If you do not take you will miss some very important information for the artist. Also there are some very unique collections that unfortunately are only for a few days per year.

Exploring Musée d'Orsay on the first Sunday of the month was a fantastic decision. Not only did we get to experience the museum's world-class collection, but the added bonus of free entrance made the visit even more memorable. The usual entry fee being waived on this day is a thoughtful gesture that allows art enthusiasts and curious minds alike to immerse themselves in the museum's offerings.
From the moment we stepped into the grandeur of the building, we were captivated by the architectural beauty that seamlessly blends history with art. The natural light filtering through the iconic clock windows added a touch of enchantment to the entire experience. The layout of the museum is well-planned, allowing us to navigate through the different sections with ease.
The vast array of artworks, especially the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, left us in awe. Standing face-to-face with iconic paintings and sculptures that we had only seen in books was an exhilarating feeling. The informative plaques beside each exhibit provided valuable insights into the artist's life and creative process, enhancing our understanding and appreciation.
The staff at Musée d'Orsay deserves special mention for their warmth and knowledge. They were more than happy to answer our questions and engage in discussions about the art pieces, making the visit even more enriching.
Visiting the Musée d'Orsay on the first Sunday of the month was not only a smart way to save on entrance fees but also an opportunity to connect with art and history on a deeper level. This initiative reflects the museum's commitment to making art accessible to all, and we left with a renewed sense of appreciation for the artistic wonders housed within its walls.

Ha! Things are never like in the movies! Have seen small portions of this museum, 1 or 2 folks pass by as the star sits quietly, contemplating the picture. Yeah, right!
Never has happened; I went through the museum on a weekday, and it was fairly crowded. From what I could tell and comments from some folks who have been there before, crowds are the norm.
One example is the Mona Lisa, right? I was able to get through a crowd of non-moving folks just standing there. Fortunately, I have long arms able to elevate my arms up high enough to get a job picture. I think.
Absolutely a must visit when in Paris! Only note I would add is that you really need days, if not weeks to fully see and enjoy all of this world class museum.

My favorite museum in the world. The setting in a former train station is completely unique and impressive. The sculptures and paintings, concentrated from the pre- to post - impressionist era, are truly breathtaking. The sheer size of some paintings is mind boggling, with unbelievable detail and unmatched artistry. I will be back many times.

We visited the fantastic Musée d'Orsay in Paris in the morning to avoid the crowds. Prior to our visit, we had pre-booked our tickets, making it effortless for us to gain admission without waiting in line. The museum is a must-visit for art lovers, as it boasts one of the most significant collections of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art. We were amazed by the vast collection - we had never seen anything like it before! Seeing the artworks that we had only previously seen in art books in person was incredible.

Amazingly beautiful building, the entry fee is worth it just to see the architecture. There are lots of historic art depicting culturally significant events/people/landscapes in the lower sections. However, the impressionist and more modern art of Gauguin, Van Gogh and Monet were amazingly beautiful and I was deeply moved. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this museum. I recommend starting in the impressionist art because there are a ton of gems here and it can be easy to get overwhelmed and tired. We went through the art eras that we appreciated the most and then were able to cruise through the other art and sculpture during the second half of the day. Came during the free Sunday visit and highly recommend to purchase tickets ahead of time to skip the crazy long wait lines

So much to see. (I don’t spoil here.) Recommended to go for a half day if you like arts. You can buy ticket and book a visit time slot online before you go (for a shorten queue for entrance). Otherwise, onsite tickets are available too.

Wonderful museum of Impressionism art. A definite visit if you go to Paris for art lovers. There is quite a few sculptures as well to enjoy.
Tips: buy tickets in advance online from their official site. All kids under 18 are free.
Start on the fifth floor (where all Impressionism works are) towards the front of building then go to back and descend for furniture floors (3 and 4 floors), then the lowest two floors have sculptures and paintings before impression period.

One of the centerpieces of Paris, likely the most renowned museum after the Louvre. You can see some artists like Van Gogh, Claude Monet and Renoir, but to be quite honest they are not the ones stealing the show.
The temporary exhibitions were great, but the most beautiful thing about the museum is the renovated railway station it's set in. Here you can witness some seriously breathtaking halls full of art and the sheer scale gives creeps. The building broke me. It's beautiful.
Be warned, though. This is a huge museum and you'll probably need a better part of the day to see it.
As a bonus, if you're under 26 years old and are a student in the European Economic Area, you can enter free of charge.
It's free!

The world's most popular art museum, the Louvre houses a vast collection of artefacts from all over the world. With iconic masterpieces like Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and two statues from Greece, it is no wonder why the Louvre is so popular. With rooms devoted to furniture, tapestries, and ornate objects, there is something for everyone at the Louvre Museum.

Quite a lot of work of arts. I saw the highlights, but wished I could have seen more. Will go back definitely. We walked about three km and focused on about three statues and the Mona Lisa. It was amazing to learn a bit about the history of the museum and where all the art came from. Great to see the Mona Lisa in low season. I recommend seeing it when it’s not high season.

Visiting the Louvre was truly an amazing experience. The museum is home to some of the most renowned artworks and historical artifacts in the world, and I was in awe of the sheer beauty and cultural significance that surrounded me. From iconic masterpieces like the Mona Lisa to ancient Egyptian sculptures, the Louvre offers an incredible collection that spans centuries of human creativity.
However, one challenge I encountered during my visit was the overwhelming crowd. The Louvre is undoubtedly a popular tourist attraction, and it attracts visitors from all over the globe. As a result, certain areas of the museum can become quite crowded, making it a bit challenging to fully appreciate the artworks in a peaceful and relaxed manner.
Nonetheless, despite the crowds, the Louvre remains a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts and history buffs. The grandeur of the museum's architecture itself is worth admiring, and the vastness of its collection ensures that there is something to captivate every visitor. To make the most of your visit, I would recommend arriving early in the day or considering a weekday visit to avoid the peak tourist hours.
Overall, the Louvre offers an extraordinary journey through art and history, and even with the crowds, the experience is still incredibly enriching. Standing face-to-face with iconic masterpieces is a humbling and awe-inspiring encounter that I will cherish forever. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend exploring the Louvre and immersing yourself in the world of art and culture it has to offer.

What more to be said than everything that's written during the years about the worldwide famous Louvre museum. Yes, it is extremely big. Yes, you can spend days and days discovering the collection. Yes, the Mona Lisa is really small. Yes, the museum is overcrowded by people. Yes, there's a long waiting line. Inside this information is where the museum's only problem is hidden, It's too much of the good thing. There are so many objects and paintings in every room that it's almost impossible to focus on one thing. The Louvre does a great job in showing how versatile their collection is, but there isn't a lot of information in every room about what you're looking at. It would be an improvement if they leave more space between every painting, so you can have a good look at all the details. The building itself and the entrance with the pyramid are impressive, a pure joy to enter. Be sure to take your time or just focus on certain parts of the museum, as you'll probably lose time and be there the whole day. 4.5/5.0

Didn’t expect much, and was a bit surprised. It’s a nice experience with many many art pieces, among other things. It was pretty crowded and quite hard to navigate, but it’s expected for it’s size and popularity. Also, As an EU student under 25, the entrance was completely free, which is insane and thanks to France or whoever did that.

Went there several times and have yet to understand how to find the Mona Lisa in one go (I’m the worst tour guide).
As for reservations:
- Make an online reservation beforehand (on the same day is fine) so that you don’t have to wait in line in front of the pyramid, you’ll scan your ticket super quickly (real time saver).
- If you aren’t an original EU citizen but are currently studying here, you’ll need to bring your student ID and a pic of your visa (student ID or ID alone doesn’t suffice) to get free entry.

The 13th-century Notre Dame Cathedral is famous for its spire, gargoyles, and intricate Gothic architectural details. The cathedral was almost destroyed in a 2019 fire but some of the buildings that survived include the South Rose Window and archaeological crypt.
Breathtaking architecture as always. I have visited the cathedral before the fire and currently after it. It is really sad to get to see how the fire impacted it you cannot go inside anymore and all you can see is the outside of it now. Still beautiful and worth looking into it from the outside
Currently under construction. All of our hearts broke with the tragic huge fire, but we have hope that the cathedral will be back. The plan is to restore in the 19th Century design, and at this time is is under construction. Lots of work around. Heartening to come and witness the rebirth.

This is by far, one of the most beautiful and dazzling cathedrals I have ever visited, maybe also because of all the story behind it. The architecture is amazing and just being there is an out of this world experience. Everything gels near this spot and there are so many options for the visitors nearby to go as well.
I had the opportunity to visit short before the fire in 2019 and I could see it inside and from the top too. I hope they finish restoring it sometime soon as nothing beats going inside it and seeing Paris from its top tower.
So, I hope to come back soon. I recommend this visit 100% 🙌🏼

This famous cathedral is simply impressive, even if it is half covered by scaffolding and is closed to the public. We enjoyed walking around the outside and reading all the informative signs. Amazing to think how old it is and that construction took 400 years! It is great to see it being restored and will be very interesting to tour once it is completed.

A lot people of visit this place although everyone knows it’s currently being rebuilt again after the fire incident(couple of years ago). There are some really nice places around and nice restaurants around from kebabs, Indian and Middle Eastern and Turkish etc. Perfect place for lunch, snack and dinner. just across the bridge there’s famous Shakespeare and company cafe. Really busy place to be honest. I would love to spend few hours around this place. If you are using big bus then there’s a stop just across the street.

We got to see it the year before the fire. It was breathtaking and humbling. It is gorgeous and filled with knowledge and history. Ths inside is much bigger than I expected, and it's just amazing to experience the history of the building.

Even though the Cathedral was closed, due to the work of restoration, still there are different displays all around the church that show you the inside as well as detailing the different works necessary to bring the cathedral to its original glory. The Cathedral looks really beautiful also from the outside and even though it is temporarily closed still there are a lot of people who visit it, just to get a glimpse of it.

Beautiful Parisian site to see while visiting the city. It’s currently closed for tours but the outside is open for site-seeing. It’s just beautiful. The whole place is big—a lot of art and detail to try and process. Coupled with the history of the location, it’s a lot to wrap your mind around. The area is beautiful as well. The cathedral is close to metro stations, and is built for foot traffic.ale sure to add this to your list of must-sees during your time in Paris.
Will Thompson — Google review
It is a cathedral with a breathtaking architecture. However, after the fire that broke out in April 2019, restoration work of the cathedral is still underway. Hence the visitors are not allowed to enter the cathedral yet (as of April 2022). You can get a magnificent view of the cathedral from outside, if you go on a River Seine cruise at dusk.
Himantha Alahakoon — Google review
Still beautiful despite the barriers in place. Viewing platform was busy mid week but is off centre so you’ll get a better photo from the ground anyway! Good for a quick bit of admiration! Lots of local bars and cafes
Bambam Selway — Google review
It was disappointing that 3/4 of the structure was covered/surrounded by tall metal panels that you couldn’t see through. Even though it’s burned and under construction I would have loved to see more of it. They erected a set of bleachers on the square for the public to sit and look at the front, but to see any of the rest you have to cross the Siene to see over the panels and through the scaffolding.
Lena Roberts — Google review
Historical and beautiful cathedral that is a must visit when in Paris. A lot of people outside church playing music and hanging out. The fence around the church details facts and stories of this church like when it was built and what happened the day it unfortunately caught on fire. It details all the damage it suffered and much more. Apparently the church is supposed to open again for visit in the fall of 2024. Hopefully next time I visit it will be open for tourists again.
Guillermo Rangel — Google review
While it was closed at the time due to the reconstruction work it's still an impressive site. At present there are various displays on the surrounding fences detailing the history and work taking place to restore the Cathedral to its former magnificence.
To one side there is a large stepped platform where you can climb up to take a photo or simply sit and enjoy the view.
Andy Tullett — Google review
Visited here at the weekend. And whilst it is still closed there's a lot of information via the app and on the wall graphics.
It's great to see the new spire and I believe that a free exhibition is opening soon to explain a lot more about the restoration work after the fire.
Wil Chung — Google review
Great historical building but nicer churches nearby. The amount of tourists and traffic mean the atmosphere here is hectic and not enjoyable, even without the reconstruction efforts the volume of people and cars mean the area is packed, loud and not solemn.
Jason Bradley — Google review
It's a really beautiful place. Doesn't matter if it's winter, autumn, summer or if it's sunny or rainy. It will always be an iconic place. The place is not open to the public yet, but you can sit outside and take pictures in front of the building. Sometimes others come here and do some kind of performance here and there are places to sit and watch the performances with the Notre Dame on the back.
You will find painters in the near, also in front of or there is another beautiful church, the Abbey Bookshop and the Oldest Tree in Paris. So, a lot to see in this area. Enjoy yourself here.
Alessandro Stefan — Google review
This is a beautiful building, we visited during the rebuilding after the huge fire, it was still amazing and can’t wait to return once she reopens to the public. 10/10 for history and architecture, to forgot to take a visit into the underground crypt next to the cathedral it is well worth a visit.
Stephen MacLean — Google review
Awe inspiring cathedral still under restoration & not open. There is a viewing stand in the courtyard to watch the progress & a storyboard running the full length of the fence that explains how restoration is being done. Even though we didn’t get to go in, just seeing the cathedral & witnessing the restoration is worth the visit.

6 Parvis Notre-Dame - Pl. Jean-Paul II, 75004 Paris, France
The lush, formal gardens of Luxembourg Gardens are a popular attraction in the Saint Germain des Pres neighborhood of Paris. The garden is home to many statues and monuments on pedestals, as well as well-manicured gardens with trees in ornate patterns. The park is a delightful place to relax and take in the sights and sounds of Paris.
Had such a great experience here! Late Sept 2021 and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and not too many people. Huge area to explore and spend minutes to hours people watching and enjoying the gardens and grounds. Tons of public chairs available throughout the gardens.
Jalyn Cameron — Google review
Majestic gardens in Central Paris, full of people enjoying the beautiful flowers and fountains, and viewing countless epic statues like the ring of French queens going back hundreds of years. Kids will love the playgrounds and renting little sailboats to float in the central fountain. Great place to explore.
Mike Harms — Google review
Very nice tranquil spot to chill out in. The small pond with toy sailing boats to rent is really good to watch. Its a bit of a shame however that you cannot sit on any of the grass, and a lot of the park is dust/gravel. There are loads of chairs dotted around the park to sit on though and the palace is a good sight.
William Frankson — Google review
The most splendid park with sweeping views of the central gardens. Plenty of spots to sit in sunbath or cool off in the shade. You could spend all day here exploring and enjoying the gardens, sculpture, museums and people watching.
Tina Kite — Google review
Very near to Luxembourg train/metro station. Also walkable to Palace du Pantheon etc.
There were gazebo and other structures to get some relief from the rain and grab a coffee while we waited it out.
The garden is very lovely beautiful and well managed and well decorated, and there were quite a few people hanging out and enjoying the warm albeit damp evening.

It's a beautiful place to walk around. I loved the playground, it was beautiful and my son loved it. The only thing is that you must pay to enter the playground and they charge kids and adults but on the other hand, it has bathrooms and the place looks very clean.
Coke Orellana Espinoza (Coke Geo) — Google review
Beautiful... had a lovely picnic there. the statues were very interesting. I enjoyed reading all of the information about them. My son and I did almost a little treasure hunt, looking for various statues.
It was a bit on the dusty side because of the driveways but I'm thinking it's because the weather was so dry over the summer.
Makeda Alexander — Google review
I would almost change my favorite place to stay in Paris to be right next to this garden! It is a perfect place to walk, sit, relax, play, take a class, have a meeting, eat, drink...the list goes on and on! You will find plenty of seating and paths spread throughout, lots of entrances/exits, toilets (clean, in our experience), and snack stands. Truly a perfect place to spend an hour or afternoon!
Deborah Theisen — Google review
This garden is breathtaking. My husband and I briefly visited but the wind and rain came in so we went back to our hotel. We only had limited time in Paris but we made a point of going back. Our absolutely favourite part is the Medici Fountain. We are huge readers and I cannot begin to explain the PEACE found at this fountain. There are chairs all around filled with people of all ages sketching, painting, or reading. We made this our reading spot the following day when the weather was better and it was such a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also located away from the rest of the gardens so it was quiet and oh so relaxing. I would recommend EVERYONE visit - there is a stunning palace, mini boats to rent and race, the majestic fountain as well as these beautiful trees for a lovely photo op. The whole place is stunning. Worth the visit :)
Inessa King — Google review
A very peaceful place. I bet this place in spring or summer is very crowded. Loved the view, and the peacefulness, fresh air. It is near a train station so you don't have to walk a lot to reach it.
There are some food kiosks inside, mostly crepes. In case you're hungry or thirsty while in here you can grab something real quick. I will try to return in spring to see how it looks.

My to-go place in the city. I love the comfy, natural vibe here. Sitting on a chair to read books and put your feet up is a perfect way to enjoy your afternoon. Many people love having food, chatting, and napping within the place.

Beautiful place to spend your Sunday. One of the best places for families to enjoy. Lovely area. Activities for children. Few kiosks to grab waffles and mulled wine.
Perfect picnic place if you are in Paris.

A beautiful garden in the heart of Paris. For someone not from France, the amount of publicly available seating and facilities are great. Can be explored in an hour or less if you’re hurried, or you can soak in the garden beds, flowers and trees over a longer period. Worth seeing if you’re in Paris

We had to escape the rain a bit on our visit but that was alright. There were gazebo and other structures to get some relief from the rain and grab a coffee while we waited it out. The garden was lovely and there were quite a few people hanging out and enjoying the warm albeit damp evening.

Really a lot of tourists here just taking pictures but not actually spending time to enjoy things, but it’s a large Jardin so that’s not a huge issue, but it’s sad to see people not appreciating it more. Very well maintained and landscaped, lots of places to sit and enjoy food as it’s a very safe jardin. Worth your time
Caïna Verrin — Google review
It is a very big garden, where you can relax, take a walk, draw, read a book, have a snack, play with your friends/family. Honestly, it wasn't that impressive to me but it is actually a place for escape during your day and enjoy nature's beauty. I don't know if there is any parking space and public toilets.
Rafaella G — Google review
Lovely place for a stroll. Beautiful gardens and fountains. Crepes and pastries available on the garden side. On the park side, you do have to pay for each kids activity, even the playground. 3 euros per kid and 1 per adult. Playground was great though. There’s a manual merry go round that my kids loved. 2 euros per ride. The little snack bar was meh and very pricey. Free sand boxes were good.
Katie Stills — Google review
Excellent place for spending wonderful time in the gardens, cool by the little reservoir, quiet but busy, not in a bad way. Quality time spent in between work-tasks. Suitable either for leisure or a quick relaxing break during a busy day in Paris. There are plenty of interesting sights in the neighborhood and in the general area, so you can combine a walking tour of the city with a visit to the Jardin du Luxembourg. Strongly recommended.

Nice and free public garden where you can have a walk, check the fountain, or even the art pieces distributed along the garden. There were many seatings available for everyone. The garden looks also well maintained. Great option for tourists and good photo spots.

Beautiful garden with no ticket. Its beautiful in all seasons. Whether you want yo run or take a peaceful walk or enjoy a rainy day with kids or want to embrace the flowers in full bloom in spring to frozen lake in winter or eating a Crepe in front of majestic architecture. It has it all.
Renaissance park & château furnished with Empire, Louis XVI & Regency pieces, & lavish mini-theatre.
Really worth the trip. The history is definitely fascinating and even though this château has a small domain niw it once had a glorious past. We took the English tour and our guide was really nice. Unlike the other châteaus in the area, this one was not crowded and we had a more private experience.
Raktim Bora — Google review
Lovely place to visit.
There are a lot of things to see there. You can still see how a lot of the things were used before. Like the cave where they used to store ice to keep things cool in the summer.
On the inside, there was lots of the original furniture. But you could also see clear signs of long-term lack of maintaince. But over a place, you must visit. The staff was friendly and spoke English. And there was an audio tour available in several languages.
Jesse Stam — Google review
Nice old chateau with interesting history. Audio guide & information in several languages. Ornamental gardens and small animal farm. Picnic area but no cafe available, so bring your own food.
Catherine Jamieson — Google review
Less developed than other chateau in the area which made it more authentic. Get the audio tour as it's very good (although be prepared to wrestle with the controls are ours was a bit temperamental). We went in March and the cafe wasn't open so allow for that. Overall we liked it for the authenticity. Also be prepared that there isn't a dedicated car park so we parked in the nearby tourist information office car park. However that could very easily be full in summer. Not sure if there is any other parking nearby as we didn't need to look ourselves as it was very quiet in March.
Neil Pilkington — Google review
Impressive exterior and very good audio guide.
Being from UK we are used to National Trust properties and found the contents of this Chateau rather sparse in comparison, but the history of French and British aristocracy is rather different!
Pleasant gardens with children's playground.

Lovely chateau detailing the early 19th century with the tribulations of Talleyrand. As a food lover, the kitchens underground are very interesting and important because of Antonin Carême.

The artefacts are more than a museum of pieces, they actually recreate the ambience of the time and the people living there. The gardens are extensive and you can walk around everywhere, the restaurant is ok too. There is a sense of peace, a good place to meditate, and not too many tourists.... parking is easy across the road.

Good place to look around with some lovely rooms and furniture. Great English Audio Guide. Didn't really see the outside areas as it was raining a lot. The kitchen and cellars were very interesting. There is a free Aire for motorhomes on the Tourist information carpark which is only about 200 metres from the entrance to the Château.
Shirley Woosey — Google review
Very nice from the outside as well as gorgeous gardens but.....the inside is not very clean and looks shabby. Needs renovation. Also very bear furniture wise. Only the kitchen in the basement is nice as well as the 3-D presentation.
Bourges Cathedral, erected in the late 12th century, boasts a remarkable design and features an extensive crypt that houses the burial site of Jean de Berry. The edifice's captivating architecture is comparable to that of Notre-Dame and there is no admission fee; visitors may make voluntary contributions towards lighting candles. The cathedral conserves some of the finest stained glass artwork, which can be examined closely to observe its layering techniques.
Art and architecture is mesmerising. Worth visiting the cathedral!

I had wanted to visit ever since reading a book on cathedrals as a teenager. Suffice it to say paper did no justice whatsoever to the awe-inspiring reality of this masterwork of French Gothic. I spent the entire afternoon there and I could have spent a week. Stunning.

Lovely spot to stop for a while. If you understand French then there are QR codes all over for a guided tour. I would have loved to have been able to pick English since my french is just marginally functional for day to day stuff so I had a hard time following it. Absolutely beautiful though.

This medieval cathedral seems to rise out of nowhere as you turn the last corner upon approach. It's very hard to describe its beauty: not only its architecture is breathtaking but its stained glass are a superb masterpiece. We couldn't climb the tower, because we lacked the time, but we visited the crypt with a guided tour (the guided tour is compulsory to visit the crypt but it's worth every penny) and it was amazing. The guide gave us a detailed history of the cathedral and the works stored in the crypt. If you are in the region, this is a must-see.

The cathedral lacked the uplifting colours from the stained glass windows that it is famed for on bright days, today was dull. The scaffolding around the outside also spoiled the view of the wonderful exterior. Still awesome, just not at its best.

Very beautiful park (you make easily your 10000 steps). One part is for animals.
It was very hot but there are lots of water sprays (easy to get refreshed). You are free to bring a picnic and to eat on site.
You can find some restaurants...
I regret that water taps to fill up your bottle are placed just outside restrooms.
A place to go more than once. I met a gran-mother 82years old who did all of the attractions💪👏✨🤩

Great amusement park which combines being a theme park and a zoo in one park. The rides are attractive for a broad public as there are both simple, slow rides for younger kids and very fast rides like the Yukon quad.
The animal shows (especially the bird show) are absolutely marvellous with all kinds of birds flying over your head.

A fun combination of an animal and amusement park. They have thrilling rides for kids 1m and above and some good ones even for the littlest visitor. The rides did not have long lines even when we came in the summer which makes for a better amusement park experience with little ones. You cannot bring your own food but they have many options inside. We ate at the creperie and we loved the food.

This parc is really incredible. The animals have so much room to roam around. It’s landscaped beautifully with flowers and trees throughout.
The only negative thing which major is people smoke and it’s not controlled. The whole park is non smoking except for designated areas but people don’t care.
There is a lack of signs throughout the park, signs need to be added by the hundreds to let people know and there should be some control.
This park is filled with kids and it’s often difficult to find a food line or a bench without a smoker even though it’s not legal.
I would really love for this park to focus on this one major issue.

Vulcania is a volcanic-themed amusement park and museum located in the heart of the volcanic region around the Puy-de-Do volcano. The park offers a combination of interactive high-tech shows, educational movies, and thrilling rides that provide an immersive experience about the nature and mysteries of volcanoes. Visitors can explore various aspects related to volcanoes, earthquakes, chemistry, geology, and legends associated with them while enjoying fun attractions suitable for both children and adults.
Stayed for the late night openings available through July and August. We arrived at 4pm, had dinner and then took advantage of the lack of queues before heading to the Fireworks show at the end of the night. I'd advise you not to go to the show before the Fireworks or else you may not get a seat in the stand. The show was absolutely incredible. Plenty for kids to do throughout the park - we went with a 3yo and 5yo who really enjoyed the playgrounds too. Would definitely do the late opening again as we break our journey through France.

Is a nice park for family with Kids, however do not come on a day on peak season because they are not ready at all for the price. We came on a cold july day and you have to queue for at least 30 minutes at every activity or spectacle, even to eat. Information about queue is not enough although when stuff is present and friendly but not organización at the en of queue. All info is in French so not friendly for non French speakers, all and all not worth it if the day is going to be busy

Extremely well done. 3 levels of Disney like entertainment, a great intermediate roller coaster (will feel like astronaut training for you amateurs out there, a blast for 7ish and up, A+ to the engineers), an actual classroom on volcanos that was fun, great architecture and landscape, great staff, steak and fries were yummy and priced reasonable... I got a kick out of the volcano sounds rumbling on the PA everywhere. Really well done gem for the family to spend a day if you're in the Claremont Ferrand area. I visited Vulcania with my wife and my 10-year-old son. All three of us greatly enjoyed this place. We arrived at 10 AM and only left when the park was closing. It is a great way to learn a lot about volcanoes, earthquakes, chemistry, geology and legends linked to them. Every attraction teaches you something while being a lot of fun. I think this place can be enjoyed by children and adults equally. They really know how to explain complex things with clarity and a lot of fun.

My recent visit to Vulcania was an educational and awe-inspiring experience. Situated in the heart of Auvergne's volcanic region, this unique theme park offers visitors a chance to explore the fascinating world of volcanoes.
The park's exhibits and interactive displays are both informative and entertaining, making it an ideal destination for families. From realistic simulations of volcanic eruptions to informative films about Earth's geological history, Vulcania provides a comprehensive understanding of these powerful natural phenomena.
While the attractions are fun, the educational aspect was only average affecting the overall experience. Additionally, during peak hours, the lines for certain activities were quite long, leading to extended waiting times and occasional crowding.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and provide assistance.
Vulcania's restaurant offerings ( cafeteria/takeout) were satisfactory, providing a decent variety of snacks and meals, though the prices were somewhat higher than expected.
In conclusion, Vulcania offers a unique and informative journey into the world of volcanoes. While some aspects could use a modern update and crowd management improvements, the overall experience is worth the visit for anyone interested in learning about Earth's geological wonders.

Waiting time for attractions between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes. Deplorable organization, overwhelmed by the world of this bridge.
Plan on 4 levels very poorly indicated, almost identical schedules.
The children enjoyed it despite expectations and the attractions were mediocre.
To be tested outside of holidays, weekends or public holidays.
Too bad the site at the foot of Puy de Dôme is magnificent.

This a great place if a) you like science b) you like 3d, 4D rides c) your kids aren't too small d) you understand French enough to enjoy this.
Great visit, lots of things to do.
docking of 1 star, because the cantine was just very poor, tasteless and ridden with flies... like dozens of flies on every window. should be easy to fix. I'll add photos so maybe the management can react, because it's bloody disgusting, never seen anything like this before. but don't be discouraged, just bring your own food, save time and money and enjoy more!

Dommage.

I found it difficult to find my way around the site despite the map and the app.
The criticism: the only option for a slightly late lunch was the snack bar, the sandwiches of which were really not great but the price was very high! (cafeteria closed and burger point too!!). Damage.

I really like what they are doing with the place and they have mostly excellent equipment and friendly staff. In the amazing planitarium the sound on the videos was too loud which made it an uncomfortable viewing experience. My 6 week old baby was in there and my wife had to cover his ears it was so loud. On the documentary about the cosmos the french dubbed voiceover is too quiet compared to the synth music which is probably why they cranked it up even further. The same volume issue exists with the animated film for kids. Its borderling dangerous for a childs ears. What a shame becuase the planitarium is amazing and the live presentation about tonight's sky was relaxing because it is softly spoken. I find the level of quality regarding animation a little weak throughout the park, with todays standards in film I think that they need to try to improve the films they already have rather than installing any new attractions.
I hope that someone reads this and at least fixes the volume problems with the films VAST and NOISETTES for the pleasure of future visitors! Thank you.

Too expensive for what you get, we paid 93 € to enter, even just a bottle of plain water at the kiosk was 3€... Mainly movies, also 3D and one 4D video but more aimed at children than adults, some of them are nice but also quite short. There are also a train and a few exhibits all showing things about volcanos . Outside there is also a little train and a park but it was incredibly cold so we were happy most of the park was underground. There were some queues.

This is over hyped attraction for the price we pay. More than the attraction its the garden and the plants which are more attractive. All the so called rides are either 3D, 4D or 5D movies and nothing more. 27€ for an adult is way too expensive. Kids will love it because of many attractions. Do keep in mind that many attractions are for over 0.90m and few are for kids over 1.10m height only.
Puy de Dôme is a remarkable volcano with two hiking trails and a train service leading to the summit. It also boasts a visitor center and options for paragliding. One of its most impressive features is the stunning view point at nearby Puy, which can be reached via a 20-minute walk from where you park your car.
Great place with very well done infrastructures, anyone can get to the peak with the train and there are paved road on the top for wheelchair. The view is amazing, but it could be quite foggy especially for the morning. The parking has a lot of slots and free of charge, but I did not like the crushed stone made ground for the parking, as I was concerned about my tires. There are souvenirs shops and cafe restaurants both at the ground and peak of the mountain. Absolutely worth visiting!

Best view point of the file puy de dome is actually from the nearby puy, park your car and 20min walk to top and enjoy the whole view! We even camped a night to watch sunset and sunrise from the tent.
Puy de dôme itself can be approached from either north (steeper zigzag way all the way to top) or south (gentle ascends followed by well built wooden stairs). Make sure you take a wind jacket! The view from the top to all directions are amazing! Watching tens of craters! Worth the trip! Super easy hike

Wonder
rare phenomenon visible in Puy de Dômes Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne France. As the sun warms up another corner of the earth, the majestic shadow of the volcano rises like a pyramid to be reflected in the landscape and even the clouds. Gradually, a ball forms at the top of the pyramid. Would it be the reflection of the sun star itself?
I stand there with my dear friend, lost sight of for so long, admiring this magnificent rare and ephemeral moving fresco, a real gift from Heaven on this first day of the year!

Amazing Place! So so better than Zoo. Makes you appreciate animals in something close to freedom. They have space and great areas to live in. They look happy and you can actually see them. It's also great for kids and If you don't like to walk you can even take a train to go up which might be useful (but you might skip some animals along the way). Romanesque cathedral with a distinctive striped facade, housing cloisters & Byzantine frescoes.
A place of pilgramage. All roads lead to the cathedral. Over 144 cobble stone steps to the top. Not for the faint of heart. Opens up to the altar of the cathedral. Statues of Joan of Arc and Louie XIV. The black virgin Mary. The original was burned during the french revolution.

Beautiful cathedral!!! Can't say enough about it, so I'll keep it to a minimum. I've only been to the Pilgrims' Mass (7am) on a 1st Friday & 1st Saturday of the month. They didn't really the votive feasts. But that's ok, it was still a valid Mass. There was a blessing after Mass for the pilgrim of the Camino de Compostela.
It is so cool that the grill on the floor opens up to reveal a stair that led down the hill for the pilgrims to start their Camino.
After Mass, the cathedral helpers also pass put a medal (Le Puy, I think) and a pilgrim's prayer card.
There is also a piety shop with a lot of, you guessed it, pilgrim merchandise on top of the usual devotional items.
The most important thing is that you can get your Pilgrim Passport also more commonly known as your Credential. It cost 5 euro.

The Musée Soulages in Rodez, Aveyron, is a modern art museum showcasing the works of renowned artist Pierre Soulages. The museum's impressive contemporary architecture blends seamlessly with its surroundings. It houses a collection of paintings, etchings, and prints by Soulages, as well as temporary exhibitions featuring artists like Picasso.
How can this not be 5* from everyone???? This is a holy trinity of a beautiful building, holding magnificent art, and best of all, all built and opened during that artist lifetime and with his approval (he donated the art, after all). It is magnificent. The best art/architecture day that I can ever remember spending. Certainly the greatest modern art museum that I have ever visited (and I have been around!). Bravo Pierre Soulages, Bravo Rodez.
Richard Pott — Google review
Beautiful museum and stunning permanent exhibition. The audio guide that costs 4 euros is woefully inadequate. Whilst the information is good, it is really difficult to follow as the displays are not in an obvious order so not easy to follow the works chronologically. Also out of date and the commentary speaks of M. Soulage in the present tense.
Sarah Ewing — Google review
Beautiful museum displaying some of Soulage's most impressive masterpieces. The architecture of the space pays tribute and highlights the artist's work. I highly recommend.
Charles Marty — Google review
We just left the museum, feeling more frustrated than anything. Half of the scenography is so stupid! Some rooms are very dark and his work is behind glass panels most of the time. It is only lit by terribly oriented spotlights, creating a huge amount of reflection that completely ruins your appreciation for his work.
Honestly they couldn't have gone for a worst scenographic choice.
However, his work is still fascinating and the collection is quite generous.
I just hope to rethink their lighting plan at least! ;)
Max Carmas — Google review
The museum itself is an impressive modern building which blends in well with it's surroundings in the town of Rodez. The works of Soulage are fascinating espeically how he came to destruture the standards of art in his time. Definitely worth the visit. Modern art may not be everybodys cup of tea so a visit is always very personal and subjective. What I found most interesting were the methods used to achieve the effects. Never thought many shades of black could be so beautiful.
Fiona Charonnat — Google review
In 2005, Pierre Soulages and his wife Colette donated an exceptional collection of 250 works and 250 documents to the community of Rodez…. and this stunning museum is the result. Along with other temporary exhibitions as an additional pleasure, the work of Soulages can be seen and appreciated - whether it is your "thing" or not, you cannot deny the power and influence of Soulages' work and the dramatic setting in this modern museum.

antonietta morra — Google review
An exceptional cave. Difficult to convey how beautiful it is. The sloping railway takes you down to an area near the top of the cave. The tour requires you to walk on sloping and stepped paths to the floor of the cave and then back up to the train which returns you to the surface. Given it is cool in the cave, this isn't arduous for reasonably fit, mobile people, but for the elderly or infirm, the climb back up the steps - 2x a normal house stairs? - could be a challenge. The lighting is subtle and does highlight the stalactites and stalagmites along with all of the other deposited shapes. The sheer size of the cave is breathtaking and it takes a moment to comprehend what you are seeing as people on the floor of the cave look like small models. The guide speaks only french, written guides are available in other languages. The tour is slow with lots of stops where the guide explains what you are seeing. We don't speak French and didn't opt for a written guide, just looking was enough. This is the first time that I have seen stalactites that have small rim-pools on their sides and these make the stalactites seem almost plant like. There are places where the stalactites and stalagmites have joined and formed columns. There are also plenty of translucent curtain forms and lines of stalactites hanging from the roof. There is a wall that is covered with calcium forms that look like trees and animals. My words do a poor job of describing what you'll see if you visit. It really is worth seeing.
There are displays and a video explaining the discovery and history of the cave in a large visitor and ticket centre and there are people here that speak English, but I'm not sure what other languages they have. There is also a restaurant that serves meals and snacks along with lots of different drinks. The car park is large and I would expect this place is very busy in high season so book tickets on line to ensure you don't have a wasted visit. It is not a place that would be suitable for wheel chair users as a lot of the cave is accessed by stairs.
If you like a good cave, have an interest in geology or the natural world, then this is for you. The cave more than justifies the ticket price.

Possibly one of the most awe inspiring places we visited in France. Spectacular shapes created by Nature over thousands of years. Albeit in group most were stunned into silence and just let the guide do her thing. It was like diving and swimming in the Great Barrier Reef without all the equipment in places!

Really worth a detour. We have seen many caves/grottes but this is very special due to the size of the cavern and the numerous of very high stalagmites!
Go and see!
Wouter Bruggers — Google review
Very impressive cave with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Everyone was so in awe that even in the quite large group there was hardly any sound the first 15 minutes. I would have wished for a smaller group, it would have been easier to hear what the guide explains. But as a foreigner you even get a booklet in your language where you can read it all again. Nice light effects to tell the story, yet I wonder how exciting it must have been 100 years back to discover something like this!

Lovely time at an incredible spot. Staff and food were better than expected. A gem of a place amid such varied natural wonders!

Cool stalagmite formations underground but around 12° Celsius so bring a hoodie.

Even with the drought still an excellent canoeing experience. Did the 9km track but if you’re up to it I would recommend doing the 13km trip. Nice amount of rapids to be had with lots of spots to sit along side the river and have a swim. Staff of Le Moulin is excellent, finish point has a nice restaurant to enjoy an ice cream or cold soda pop. There is also a photo you can buy of you going down the river rapids which is quite fun.
Would highly recommend if your in the area and the weather permits it.

Excellent! Beautiful and organized. We've been multiple times. Last time by bus from Montpellier and everyone was very helpful. They left us on the way back at the bus stop.

Great staff, good kayaking even though the water was a bit low. You have choice between 6km or 13km under 4hrs

Beautiful scenery and route! You can see the fishes swimming and enjoy the amazing nature around you. So for that it’s great. There were some points though that detract from a perfect score. We had a day of overcast, so in the morning we called and our camping group was told that the weather would be fine and the rain would be gone soon etcetera etcetera. However, it rained all day (quite heavily as well.) I know they cannot control the weather of course, but If they just were honest we would’ve come another day and the operation would still earn its money. We did the 13KM route which for me and my wife was way too intense so we fell over twice, lost our slippers, and left with many bruises and a wet suit. 3/10 would not recommend. It’s fine if you are sporty or good at kayaking, but we are not, so I advice anyone else to inform themselves beforehand and for the operation to ask people if they are sure about taking the long route. We would’ve had a way more pleasant day if we just did the shorter 9K route. Apart from that, nice people that operated the day we were there, decent pricing and good atmosphere at the finish.

Top place. Friendly and smily professionals. Pleasure to deal with.
The 13 km ride is fun all away down to the last meter. Better to have done few weeks of canoe beforehand or to be willing to wet your shirt quickly...
Safety is top priority there to make this experience a truly good time.
Nice canoes and good quality hardware provided.
Will do again.

Highly recommended for all. You can enjoy the beauty of South of France with this Kayaking experience. Superb location to start the kayaking. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Highly skilled instructors. All the kayaks are in very good condition. From starting point to end point you can enjoy the nature with happy open heart. Lot of foreigners are doing kayaking here. The river is suitable for adults and children too. You can enjoy alone, with friends and family too. Don't take any valuables with you. No jewels or rings. You may loose it in water. My friend lost her diamond ring when we were doing kayaking. Little sad but we can't do anything. One towel, lot of water to drink, juice, sandwiches, one t shirt, shorts or pants, underwears to change in the end of kayaking. End point small restaurant is there. Highly recommended. Five star rating 😂😁😀

A 394-ft.-long network of limestone caves with stalactites & stalagmites, accessed by a funicular.
One of the best caves I visited while in France. Unfortunately was the tour in french so I couldn't follow it. But the cave itself I amazing to see with beautiful chambers and stone stairs.

Amazing visit. Cold beautiful visit. For those interested in caves and caving activities this is an excellent place visit.

Awesome visit into the deep secret of those local mountains.
The pictures cannot render the magnificence of some of the rooms inside the cave... especially the last one !
The site is very-well equipped to make the tour interactive.
The guides tell you the interesting history and tales of the Grottes des Demoiselles.

Most impressive cave I've ever been in and I've seen plenty. The cathedral Hall is very impressive. Would have liked the guided tour to move a bit slower so I could soak it up a bit more. There are chairs on several places but there was no time.
The guides English was non existand as is normal in France. Don't doubt, just go and visit.

Stunning. This grotte is one of its kind. Worth the visit!
To be on the safe side, make sure to book in advance, as the number of people who can access the cave is limited.

Beautiful cave. Unique.
Great organisation. So nice to cool down those days of canicule.
The multimedia addition and the new lighting is making the place truly Remarkable with a touch of modernity for an old venerable cave where speleology started not so long ago.

Amazing place. I recommend every one who is nearby. It is worth to spend time a unique work of nature. The tour is very interesting, and the guide has great knowledge of the caves.
Romanesque-style Benedictine abbey established in 804 CE, part of a UNESCO-listed pilgrim route.
A beautiful town to see. You just have to expect how many people there will be during the season!

A very simple yet charming and peaceful place. The cloisters were a joy to walk through to get out of the heat and crowds and be in a quiet yet awe-inspiring space. A wonderful spot to stop for a breather!
Phillip Spencer — Google review
A very cool abbey. I'm not kidding you. It's freezing on the inside of it for some strange reason. Out of all of the churches that I visited so far on this trip, this one definitely has a creepy vibe in parts of it. That's not necessarily a negative though. It has a living history you can feel. It's absolutely stunning to photograph. I highly recommend it to people who enjoy photography.
Ms 313 — Google review
Wonderful, peaceful and contemplative. A must stop if you are in the region. The village surrounding the abbey is beautiful and worth a visit. Picturesque is the best word to describe the village. The cloister is very pleasant. Plan on a least an hour for a visit. See the museum and the library. The crypt is a little austere, so you might consider skipping it.

I love this place. Walking around the town makes you relive history. The medieval architecture is stunning. An important stop on the Camino de Santiago. The scallop shells lead the way. A must stop if you are in the Languedoc area.
French Mex — Google review
This small picturesque village is an extremely important point of the Camino.
The narrow streets, the falls, the great restaurants anthe uphill wineyard will pay off for any drive or walk it may take.
Spend some time on the main square. Buy goat cheese. Walk. Breath.
The atmosphere here is so calming, so relaxing.
i will return one day while I will do the Camino...

Pl. de la Liberté, 34150 Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, France
Les 9 Écluses de Fonseranes is a popular tourist destination that features a series of canal locks consisting of 9 flights. Visitors can witness the fascinating operation of the locks and enjoy stunning views of Beziers. The location also boasts an interactive cinema and restaurant at its visitor center. While there may be little shade, it offers an interesting experience for children with great toilets and a store available on site. A short walk away lies a water bridge, similar to those in photos.
Wonderful place to visit, kept very clean. You can picnic and there are boat rides and the little train comes too. Restaurant/bar at the top of the hill.
(7 of the 9 original locks remain functional).
Darren Chilton — Google review
Nice place, a lil hot 🔥 because there is no shade but it’s interesting for kids and they have great toilets and a Store.
If you have spare time walk für 10 min and you can visit a water bridge like in my fotos :)
Florian Herder — Google review
Impressive to see boats going up 30 meters in a matter of hours.
Somewhere along the canal there's a boat rental for amateurs which leads to an entertaining amount of struggling newbies. Not much to do otherwise except getting ripped off by the only restaurant there.
Ype Speelman — Google review
A beautiful walk along the canal du midi leads you to the locks. There is a great cafe which you can watch the boats going through the locks and enjoy a delicious glass of wine! The tourist train leaves from here and for €8 it’s well worth the trip as it weaves through the streets of Béziers.

Nice walking place
You can ride on a boat
can eat
can enjoy
Martin Alexis Gonzalez Vidal — Google review
Was actually sailing the boat and it is really cool to go down it.
The lock keepers guided us through it as it was our first time going through several locks at a time.
If you are on foot it might be a little less entertaining but it is still worth seeing.
Jude Whittaker — Google review
Nice locks, the best thing was the tourist train into Béziers. You can easily access and park here, then take the tourist train into the center of the city. Béziers is busy and brutal to drive into for a visit, using the tourist train from here made it easy to also see the centre of town
Alex von Schilling — Google review
We took our Dutch barge through on our own with no other boats and what an experience ! After coming down the mighty Rhône…and through the Étang in quite windy weather, this was absolutely the highlight of the journey. It was amazing. Lauren the lock keeper was so helpful with information. All in all it was an unforgettable moment to pass through these locks of historical engineering built by men and women hundreds of years ago. Allows boats to be raised 21.5m (71ft) over a distance of 300m (980ft).
MagicBusArt — Google review
Lovely canal trips with super views or just take a walk along the canal & watch others going up & down the 9 locks
Deborah Jackson — Google review
Great place to visit and see how the locks work and great views of Béziers. Amazing to see how the same method is still being used today. Well worth the visit. If you visit the Restaurant at the top BEWARE the service is terrible, very slow and unhelpful we even had a server roll his eyes at us... But the food and views are fantastic.

Note that parking is 7€. There are restrooms.
There is a nice coffeshop on site.

Great place for a walk, a lot of history and information on the way. Good place to watch the boats making their way through the locks. There are also cafes, toilets and information points at the top of the locks and great views of beziers old Town.

Well, It’s a marvelous piece of engineering but if there isn’t any ship pass by, It’s only gates and canal.

Very clever piece of engineering. Nice river with fountains further along the way and lots of seating.
We got the small road train from the town centre which goes there and back.

What a great experience, we had to wait 3 and a half hours to get up because there were so many boats coming down but we had a nice walk around.
Aqualand Cap D'Agde is a waterpark with slides that swirl and plunge from great heights. Swimmers can have lots of fun racing each other on the playgrounds and splash pads around the park. The enormous pool is a place to just relax and soak up the French sun. Green lawn extends throughout, and you'll see sunbathers lounging anywhere, to take in the magnificent view.
Came here August 2019, Fairly over priced at €28 each. However between my party of 10 lads we had a right laugh, barely any queues and the rides were pretty awesome. Almost like reliving your youth haha. Locker and key situation is a bit daft but suppose not everything is perfect. If your in the area definitely worth a trip hence my 5star. And the waffles are to die for!!.
Curts Enterprise — Google review
Reopening after covid, the restart went well.
A lot of people, sometimes long queue that makes people a bit excited; though this is acceptable. However the swimming pool was not super clean due to tree leaves falling down;
We had fun, restrictions on age could be harder on certain games that are quite challenging for young crowd.
Possible to eat onsite which is great but food quality is like McDonald’s.
Very noisy area as a lot of kids yell there :) this aqualand is very close to the beach so you would probably use it when the weather is not great, but actually it is also crowded when the weather is good. A bit outage the games still satisfies the youngest.
Jerome G — Google review
I imagine that this would have been a higher review if we'd been outside of Summer holiday time, but unfortunately the queues were ridiculous and we only went on two rides. The fast track system means that anyone in the normal queue has little chance of moving forwards - surely there's a compromise? Food outlets were ok, toilets were grim, lifeguards were attentive. Would consider going again at a less busy time and would definitely need fast track to make it worth while.

We all had a brilliant time. Only 2 waterslides had a very long wait. My youngest was 10 and was just under the height for 4 slides. Food was expensive but was expected. Would go again.

We went mid August. It was unpleasant all round. There were long queues getting in; once in, queues for the rides of 45m to 1hr whilst standing in the full sun; an inefficient system for the lockers; and general over-crowding. We left feeling like the owners cared more about making money than offering a great customer experience. On the plus side, there is a good selection of rides.
James Butterworth — Google review
Was a bit wary about going to the park as there have been some bad reviews, but generally this is similar to many of the other parks I've been to. Everything costs money, from the 25 euro entry, to the pictures with the parrot dude, to the rental on the sunlounger, most of which is optional (you can lay a towel out on the grass for example).
The place is popular, so be aware that you will have to queue upwards of 30 minutes for the better rides. Each ride has two queues, one to collect a mat or inflatable, and then another on the steps to the ride entrance. 20 euros or so gets you a VIP fast pass, and given that the day will cost you over €120 (for a family of 4) it kinda makes sense to invest. You skip the first queue, but not the second, but could save you well over an hour across a busy day.
A meal (think lightning fast McDonalds) will set you back €15, but it's decent quality fast food.
We spent 5 hours or so in the park, and really enjoyed it.
Be aware that they have a strict policy about baggy shorts and cotton t-shirts that can't be worn on the rides (lycra Ts are fine)..
Doogie K — Google review
Overcrowded during my visit. Slides are ok, but waiting 30-45 minutes for a slide took the fun out of it. The children's pool water was not heated like the other pools were. Some pools were also full of leaves and dirt.

We went for the first time with the family in June. The kids absolutely loved it which, lets face it, is the main thing. I think the ticket price was ok for a full days entertainment. We got stung for a bit extra for using the sun beds. It does state the charge on the bed but I’ll be honest I didn’t notice. June was good as it wasn’t too busy. We will go again probably, but off season. Thanks
