Good service, people that work here are nice
There is music that its loud, its okay for young people but i dont like that its albanian only

Very nice little beach. With cool music playing & a good snack bar. « Only » 4 stars because it’s a pebble beach. So if you don’t mind, go for it 👍
Stephan Croix — Google review
Unfortunately I have to give 2 stars, the sea is very good, the vibe is nice and the umbrella is in line with the other places. Nevertheless, as many other beaches, the whole place is missing the basics. When trying to order a beer they only have german ones, I am in Albania and I want to experience the local taste. I had to go to the place next to it. We tried to get some food, and they did not have any pasta or pizza, they literally told us to leave. I can’t even comment the toilet situation which is unspeakable.
The service is ok, the guys are trying the best and are as helpful as they can be. During peak hours you can def see the stress from them and they scream at each other, this can scare away clients and they are totally chaotic.
On a note, I want to give a shout out to the guy with tattoos, I really enjoyed his approach and smile and calmness with clients, good job!

water wasn't as clean as pictures here, but nice shower they had and beds was 1500lek to rent

Nature fantastic. It's hard to find parking, seabeds very close to each other, not a safe place to go with family or couples.

Nice beach. There is a lot of staff, but they don’t serve you. We ordered salads and they hadn’t put half of the ingredients of the menu in them. Disappointing.

Terrible music, so loud and annoying.
When you come to vacation you want to listen to some relaxing music, reggae or summer jazz...

This place was recommended to us by our hotel. Overall It is quite average. They don’t accept credit card - don’t speak English. Service is not really friendly. Asked for a taxi on our way back - no response from staff. Menu is quite basic - pizzas were good size/average taste (450-800 lek).
Dirty toilets. No changing cabins. Overall cleanness of the facility is poor. Loud music throughout the day which doesn’t make sense because general customer base is families with kids. Sea was quite clean, not too deep but rocky. 1000 lek for 2 beds/umbrella (poor quality wooden sunbeds that you can’t position up more than 30 degrees)

Beautiful sea.
Service is low, music is too loud. Not really clean.
Price is 1000 LLEK for 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds.

This beach is wonderful, but if you prefer less crowded spots like I do, it's best to visit on weekdays. The weekends see a surge in visitors, making parking quite a challenge. For a peaceful experience, opt for a weekday visit. Additionally, be prepared for some rather unfriendly interactions with the locals.

I was skeptical due the negative reviews but this beach is super cute and small. Perfect for either a family or group of friends. It is much better to go to this beach rather than all the way to Dhermi.
The beach bar is very nice, beautiful view of the sea, good service and the food is tasty for decent prices.
Umbrella is 1000leki which is a bit overpriced, the chairs were a bit old. Overall this is best beach I have visited in Vlorë region, very similar to Dhermi (I liked Bora Bora better tbh). The beach is with stones, and water is crystal clear. You also have spots where you can jump in the water.
Skip the negative reviews and go check it out. Totally worth it.

Nice beach. The staff did their job perfectly considering how much people were there.

The Service is so slow.
The food it’s the worst.
15 min for a salad. 50 min for pasta and 65 for pizza. the prices are relatively high compared with other places and when it comes to an end you don’t get the service or the food.
a lot of staff, but all of them are restless and their behavior is not good.
Aurel Hurdha — Google review
1. The parking is a must here and you have to pay even if you re going in to their private park.
2. They're rude to you if they see that you have a freezer(refrigerator case)for some lotions and water and they will ask you to leave if you don't leave it in to the car.
3. You have to wait alot till someone is coming to pick up your order and at least 1 hour for some food(in total we waited for 2 hours).
4. The water have so many sharp stones and you'll cut your feet trying to get in for a swim.
5. The bathroom was disgusting and we even had a big inspect in to the cabin.
I don't recommend this beach at all.

There is a ticketbox, but nobody there. Normal entrance fee of 300 ALL is to much for what it has to offer.
It really is not more then some old walls and a rebuild tower you cannot enter.
The view over the surroundings is beautiful however and makes it worth the stop.

The best view in Vlorë! It's a little bit of a hike to get to the top, but it is absolutely worth it.

Worth going to for the view, so you'll need a clear day, was empty in the morning, no fee. Took about 80 minutes walking from sea, but not a great walk up as you are sharing a narrow road with cars most of the way.

Nice and unique medieval castle, with a history that can be traced around the time of Emperor Justinian, while its roots go back even to 300 or 400 BC, which is reflected by the one piece of historical wall left, while other parts are found around its location. Not as much advertised as others in Albania but well worth a look.

You get what you expect to get from castle ruins. We were there in winter season and everything was opened, no entrance fee, no working hours even if officially was written that in winter season it's opened till 16:00 and anyway have entrance fee. Could be a nice place for picnic and definitely for observation of sunset.

The Muradie Mosque, a 16th-century cultural monument in Vlore, Albania, was built by the renowned Ottoman Turkish architect Mimar Sinan. It features a prayer hall and a stone minaret and is considered the oldest preserved mosque in the country. Despite being neglected, it remains an impressive sight for tourists visiting the city center. The area surrounding the mosque is clean and safe, making it convenient for travelers to stop by for prayers or simply to admire its ancient beauty.
As a traveler, stopped by for a prayer and visit. Open and very clean. Close to the center and right on the main road. Would love to stop by again

Beautiful historic mosque from Otroman period. The abolition area was locked during non prayer time and there was no one who could open it for us.
Radwa Azzaz — Google review
You are bound to see this place while going to the city center. The mosque was built in the 16th century and is the oldest preserved mosque in the country. Sadly, when I visited the whole area was under construction, but that only means that in the future it will flourish. I was impressed that after the call for prayer some of the workers went in for prayer. After the gruesome Hoxha regime it seems Albania is regaining faith in God

Nice place. Everything around church looks clean. Old architecture.
Independence Monument, a symbol of Albania's liberation from the Ottoman Empire in 1912, was designed by Mumtaz Dhrami. The monument reflects the heroic Communist style and is surrounded by a well-maintained park with benches for relaxation. Nearby attractions include the Muradie Mosque and ancient ruins of Vlora. Vlore offers beautiful beaches and warm seas, making it an ideal holiday destination.
Vlore is a lovely place to go for a visit or even to stay at an apartment for a holiday as the beach here is lovely and the sea is perfect. You can walk out for ages and you are just up to your waist in the water. So warm. Feels lovely on your skin. I would go back there.. loved vlore.

One of the most important monuments of Albania if you're a tourist you must visit here! But as of April 2022 there is a lot of construction around the monument. Otherwise this monument is a amazing visit to see a giant statue honoring our country's independence movement!
Charles Calvin (HugeCharlie) — Google review
Impressive monument in celebration of Albania's independence from the Ottoman Empire proclaimed in Vlore in 1912. The monument itself dates from the 70s so it is typical of the heroic Communist style. The park near it is clean and well maintained. Don't miss the ancient ruins of Vlora very nearby

If you're not up for adventure tourism, why not take a bus to Çobo Winery? This Albanian winery has been producing wine for many years but was forced by the communist government to make wine exclusively for them. Now they are back to making high-quality wines and raki. You can call ahead (+355 3612 2088) or ask at your hostel to schedule an appointment.
Absolutely well worth a visit. The grounds are beautiful with the mountains as a backdrop. Before we did the wine tasting session we got to pick limes and stroll in the vineyard on the grounds, then next we went to the cellars and learnt about the wine making process.
The wine tasting session itself is excellent. The room where it is held is very comfortable and ambient with beautiful artwork hanging and vintage furnishings. You are told about each wine before tasting and offered snacks like cheese and olives alongside to soak up the alcohol. I had the best ever sheep/goat mix cheese here. It was so good they brought us out another tray. There is also raki and brandy you can taste and afterwards you have the opportunity to buy. It is quite pricey to buy but I guess that is to be expected. If you are looking for a winery to visit in Albania for sure this should be your first choice!

Very nice visit! great service, pretty place, and tasty wine. Not a cheap tasting but still worth it ($18 or $35 depending on what you are looking for). You can just share one tasting for two which was perfect for us. Definitely recommend!

This is a gem of a place…it’s completely and pleasantly different from any wine experience I have had. This was so personable. Private tasting, provided with cheese, meats. Small quantity winery with great scenic background. Thank you for such a memorable experience. A must stop if you are in the region!

This is easily described as the place with a soul... Brothers who own the Winery are 100% commited to this place. We took a tour and taste the collection. Wines are super good, especially if you are a fan of barricaded wines. Most bottles are too expensive for a regular customers, but Zou'll find a bottle to take home even for your pocket.

Really lovely and personal wine experience. I stopped by without a reservation in the morning and they kindly accommodated. The vineyard on site is small (most of their vineyards are up by Berat) but really lovingly done, peaceful and pretty. You can taste small samples even if you are driving and the prices are good for buying bottles. Edison-the guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and gave excellent recommendations for other nearby attractions. He helped me plan my road trip back which made the drive much more interesting and enjoyable. Would recommend as a stop in on the way to or from Berat!

We spent a great time in Çobo winery with my wife and we highly recommend going there if you are in the vicinity. We were warmly welcomed by the staff - not only did they introduce us into wine making process but they also gave us some advice about which places to visit near Berat. We've also took a part in a wine tasting which was a memorable experience. The cheapest option was 15 eur per person as of 2021 but it wasn't a problem to share it - it can be particularly convenient when one person is driving as I was. We were given 4 different kinds of wine, a walnut raki (a strong albanian liqueur made from grapes) and some delicious appetizers. All in all, it was totally worth going there and we're sure that this experience will stick in our minds for long :)
Piotr Ma?lankowski — Google review
Wine is good. Prices are very huge. Bottle of sparkling wine is 40€. For this price i can take wellknown french or italian brand, not unknown albanian.
Approuch to tasting must be improved. I asked for wine card or some description what they have for tasting. Answer was like this: we have 2 white wines and 2 red wines.
For snack olives, 2 kinds of cheese and cracker. They give you bottle with italian water filled by themself and many times use. No coffe or juice for child even. No any meals.
Price list must be updated. One wine from it they don't have anymore, another 2 are not included.
They give you only 2 glasses for 4 wines. After white wine they pour red the same glasses. After my insist they give me separate glasses for each wine.

Memorable experience with our host Angelo. ❤️ Super kind man. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tasting their delicious wines and raki, while nibbling on fresh olives, bread and cheeses. I would highly recommend a visit!
Jennifer Walker — Google review
Nice local winery. They offer a small tour of the winery and the cellars. The wine tasting is very nice, but more like actual drinking, portions are generous, almost full size glasses :D. Beware if you're driving. Small version is 1700 ALL and the big with their prestigious wines and sparkling wine, 4000 ALL per person with some olives, bread, olive oil and cheeses to snack. Once again generous.

we stopped by without a reservation and had a group tour with few other travellers. the staff was lovely, the place is small but very beautiful and feels secluded. wine is incredible as you would expect and raki as well. the staff went above and beyond to provide the nicest experience for us and gave us many great tips for the rest of our travels. 😊

We stopped by without a reservation and they were very accommodating. Ariana gave us a fabulous tour of the wine cellar and her English was fantastic. There was a smaller tasting option for 18 euros, and a "top" tasting for 35 euros pp although we shared ours as my partner was driving. Fantastic wines and lots of snacks! Highly recommend.

After trying their wines at Artigiano restaurant in Tirana, we ventured to this winery. The experience was simply unforgettable. The owners radiate warmth and were exceptionally accommodating with our visit timings. The essence of a family-run establishment is palpable, with every member pouring their heart and soul into their craft and ensuring every visitor feels like a cherished guest. Their dedication to winemaking, paired with their genuine hospitality, makes for a winning combination. A must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy superb wines in the company of truly wonderful hosts! Good olive oil and orange & sweet wines!

Very nice, family run winery. We didn’t have a reservation and just stopped in on our way to Berat. They were very accommodating. Took a small tour of the wine cellar and then the wine tasting. Plenty of wines and food offered. Highly recommend!

Stopped by on our way to Vlore. Absolutely loved the place. Quick walk through the wine cellar and background of the winery followed by our selected wine tasting set in the backyard under big old olive trees, kittens playing around. We liked all of the wines and their raki was unique - walnut enhanced, which suited our taste more than anything tasted so far (not plain white or brown spirit taste). We were served a lot of snacks - cheeses and lovely olives with the tasting. Purchased some bottles and they were perfectly packed for our trip back with airplane for extra safety
Apollonia, Qyteti Antik Ilir, near Fier is an ancient Greek city founded in 588 BC on a site initially occupied by the Illyrians. The archaeological site offers year-round access and features impressive ruins that have been transformed into a lived-in city. The grounds are well-maintained with abundant wildflowers and landscaping. Visitors can explore the updated signage with CGI images of the ruins, including the Arch and two-storey promenade.
Not very big but nice for an afternoon walk around 👍 I loved the buildings structures. Restaurant at the top of the hill don't miss it lol..

Amazing place to see the historical architecture and feel the ancient vibes! Really enjoyed the visit, although giving it only 4 stars for inconvenience - it was impossible to pay by card, both for the tickets as well as for food in cafes on site. Would be alright if there was an ATM nearby, but unfortunately there wasn’t… So definitely worth a visit, but don’t forget some cash

Nice place with the ruins of the ancient city of Fier called Apollonia. When we were there, some new ruins were discovered and when you go there some others might be there as well. It is a very nice place but i am giving it 4 stars only because the place is a bit dirty, as we found the usual plastic bottles on the grass and other trash, and because getting there is a bit hard as there are not many road signals or they are hard to read.

Nice but a lot of stuff has not been excavated yet. Archeological enthusiasts will for sure love this place. It’s huge and we did not have time to discover it all because of bad weather. Be aware that entrance is approximately 1000 lek and you can pay by cash only.

Marjo Arifi — Google review
I confess I do love an archaeological site. But Apollonia does a really impressive job of transforming this large site into an actual lived-in city, whilst also maintaining pleasant grounds with landscaping and wild flowers in abundance. The signage has clearly been updated with CGI images of how the ruins would have appeared (particularly impressive with the Arch and two-storey promenade) and the portico and odeon are hugely impressive in their own right. The monastery and museum are also very photogenic and nice to walk around (a young couple were having wedding photos there), though the museum's collection of busts and pottery could be better curated. Most excitingly for me, I stood in the Library where Octavius Augustus most likely studied - top celeb-spotting! Well worth a visit

Well preserved archaeological site. Definitely worth a detour. You can access the place via the theater which is a bit outside the park.

Nice archeological place, with simple explanations in Albanian, English and French. A bit less enjoyable when it’s too hot (went in July) but still with a few trees and shadows.
Not as impressive as other famous archeological sites (Rome, Pompei, Athens) but worth a visit if it happens to be around the area. A nice 1-2h stop.

The most prominent structure in Elbasan us the castle which dates back to the 15th century. Built upon Roman and Byzantine foundations, the original settlement dating back to the 3rd century.
There is just the wall left. Free to enter. Inside there is the beautiful Real Scampis, a bar/restaurant/hotel. There is a souvenir shop. Outside there is a tower.

This place is very well located, but can not imagine to stay here more than one day and night… Very unpleasant sea, not good for families with children, for swimming also not good, but maybe because of wind I was there….
If the sea is calm after that yes is good place… but again for one day and night if you like to discover more from Albania.
If you like big waves enjoy…. but not for me thanks. Second problem is a rubish everywhere…
Good is - Parking, sun beds and umbrellas are for free… during my stay

One of the best gems in Albanian riviera, an amazing place with views that will take u breath away!!
A perfect place for an quite and relaxing vacation.
Road is a bit not decent but still easily manageable, approximately 20min from the nearest highway so u can enjoy the view that gives u mountain till u arrive at beach with some slow drive.
There are 2 restaurants where one serves till 5PM mostly traditional food and the other which offers u breakfast and dinner, staff it was respectful, friendly and helpful.
Accommodations are perfectly located in mountain shadows and give u an amazing evening or morning panorama of the sea which is quite breathtaking, some of them seemed to be newly made however I had some of the oldest cabins which was a bit outdated but still meets all the criteria for an comfortable stay!
Finally the beach is one of most clean and crystal water beachfront, umbrellas are nicely arranged and are giving u good privacy between visitors. However the main component the water looks to have the major impact at this gem since when i was on last week of July water was surprisingly tooo cold!!!! It was maybe because the days before were rainy but still the beaches in the nearby cities very having a big difference?! I could sadly say that u cannot go for a swim more than 1min as u will freeze to that level that u start feeling the pain from cold!!

Sandy ⛱️, not crowded, 2 sunbeds and umbrella 800 leka, water was little colder, and there were waves all day. You have free parking, restaurants, it's very good to spend one day if You are in Durres or Golem. Road is bumpy and dusty in the end about 3km no asphalt.

I don't like sandy beaches however comparing with other sandy beaches in Albania I have been, this one is perfect. I like that it is not desert, there were many trees, not so crowded. Sunbeds 500 lek. Restaurant on the beach tasty and prices are standard ))
Grand Park of Tirana is a public park in the heart of the Albanian capital city Tirana. The 290-hectare open space with an artificial lake at its center is popular with locals and tourists alike, containing the Presidential Palace, tombs of Frasheri brothers and other notable Albanian figures, an open-air theatre, swimming pools and the citys zoo. The park also includes a large amusement park perfect for children and families to enjoy.
You cannot come to Tirana without visiting this park which is beautiful in all seasons. Very calming place to be with nature. You can stay where it is green or venture down to the lake. There are kids playgrounds, one with a zip line with is great for children. There are also many restaurants dotted around the edge of the park and people selling snacks like freshly made donuts inside.

We took some hour walk there. A nice park, in many parts a forest in the city. Really loved that in some parts are separate trails for walkers, for runners and for bikes. Usually you see two trails (for walkers and bikes) not three as here. When it is warmer probably it is a great place for simple rest, physical activities, culture and so on.

Aaaah such a refreshing place in the heart of Tirana.
We made the whole turn with my friends. It's about 5km.
There are really nice places all around to see.
And of course good nature and some animals like ducks and turtles.
For sport it's perfect.
It's a must see specially for new arriving people.
And I guess it's a wonderful place for locals too.

Beautiful park and a great place for walking, running, riding a bike and enjoying a bit of fresh air. The park is very well looked after. There are many rubbish bins spread out around the place. There are also toilets, cafes, juice bar, ice cream stands and so much more. You can spot wild turtles and ducks. Highly recommend to visit.

I love and admire nature. There is nothing like walking alone through the trees and listening to the birds’ voice. Jogging or running is the best eay to heal your mentality and find peace. And while I was jogging, it rained. It couldn’t be better.

Beautiful modern park! With many ducks, fountains with drinkable water, benches. Many beautiful patches and views.
We had a great dinner with a forest views while were sitting on the bench there.

The Pyramid of Tirana, completed in 1988, is a pyramidal structure that has served as a conference center, nightclub, and NATO base. Plans are now underway to convert the building into a youth cultural center.
Great structure. It's massive
You will need to climb some stairs, but you'll enjoy a fantastic view from the top
It has seats and some viewpoints, too
The piramid is surrounded by a beautiful park, and some creative buildings
Great place to go, and spent some time on the top to enjoy the different views

I had to throw a glimpse into this famous or infamous pyramid. It is under reconstruction at the moment.

Great place to stop by and climb the stairways and see the city from the high point of Pyramid. Especially nice if you come around before evening to see the sunset.
You can buy tickets to go inside or stay outside to see the city or take photos. We enjoyed even just the outside views.
Lots of good photo opportunities and nice architecture around the area. This place is popular with tourists and locals just to relax, chill and see the views.
Tomson Chan — Google review
Don’t expect a pristine, shiny looking sight. The building is in a derelict state and you can’t go inside - you can only have a look through the broken parts of windows. However, this place is definitely worth visiting when you’re in Tirana. It will definitely give you an insight into the communist part of Albanian history.

The Pyramid of Tirana is a really cool attraction that you shouldn't miss when you visit the city! It's a huge, pyramid-shaped building in the center of town that was built a long time ago, during a time when the country was very different.
Inside, you can explore different floors full of exhibits that show what Albania was like in the past. It's super interesting to learn about the country's history and see all the cool stuff on display.
The Pyramid is also a really unique and impressive building. It's so big and imposing, it really stands out in the city. Even if you don't know anything about its history, you'll be in awe of its size and design.
At the same time, the Pyramid is also kind of controversial because of its past associations with the former dictatorship. Some people want it taken down, while others want it preserved in some way. Either way, it's a really important part of Tirana's history and identity.
Overall, if you're interested in history, architecture or just something really cool to see, definitely go check out the Pyramid of Tirana when you visit the city!

Nice impressive building. After renovation. Nice view both in daytime and night time. Looks surrealistic. Inside quite empty, but interesting forms of small boxes (houses). A place full of youth

Loved this place, a fabulous piece of architecture that gives you excellent views across the city and completely free.
Plenty of seating areas at the top but also around the base too.
Interesting to also go inside after your descent and see the really funky internal element.
There's also a coffee shop too.
Melanie Hughes — Google review
An interesting piece of Albanian history and one of several abandoned places that are worth exploring. It is easy to enter and many people do, but watch your step when you walk around, as the place is in disrepair. You can climb some stairs to see the upper floors or go to the basement, but again, be careful where you step. Also, it seems that some people (probably homeless) are staying there at night, so you'll encounter some trash and waste.
Katja Drnovsek — Google review
I visited today (April 2019) and they are in the process of blocking it off. Fence encompasses the entire front side, working around each side. The back is still open but it appears they plan to circle the whole building. Very quirky architecture and sad to see it in such disrepair. Hopefully someone is getting ready to do an update!

Do visit this Pyramid when you are on a walking tour from Skanderberg square to visit the nearby attractions. It is still there beer renovation & after completion will be turned into an Tech place to support start-ups in Albania as informed by our tour guide. It is not an actual Pyramid but a structure like it where you can climb few steps & have a look of the surrounding from the top.
Nazir Kariyania — Google review
A must see spot in Tirana! Huge building in the middle of a big park that takes up a whole block, it’s an impressive construction and hard to miss from afar. It’s very nicely lighten up during the sunset and night and the surroundings are also well maintained along with some interesting new constructions.
It has 200 steps but the view is worth it, it’s a bit of a shame that some of the new buildings are blocking some of it though. It provides a nice 360 view, and it’s quite interesting to see both sides of the city so clearly.
The pyramid has also a long history, as it has been there for a long time and it’s nice to see that it has been repurposed to serve the city and the country.

You can go up the stairs quickly, and you can get a 360-degree view of the city from a high place
It's not just a pyramid structure. There are various "devices" everywhere.
You can take very nice pictures on a nice day.

Pretty interesting, if not slightly bizarre, attraction in Tirana. It’s still a must see. Climb to the top and you get a decent view of Tirana and can really take in the further development that’s happening across the city.

Recently renovated building which was reopened in mid-2023 which offers a 360 degree view of the Tirana skyline from 8 storeys high. Free to enter but is a bit of a hike up. There are six benches on the top level where locals and tourists congregate, including seniors and children. There is a round glass panel that looks into the inside of the structure.
There are pastel colored cube shaped buildings at various levels of the structure.

Looks awesome during and after then sunset when lights are ON! The renovated pyramid provides a great view point of the center of Tirana after going up a long flight of stairs. Nice way of preserving what was a not too beautiful historical building.
BunkArt2 is a museum inside a preserved, Communist-era nuclear pit bunker. It features art and historical exhibits about the oppression under the communist regime. The museum is located in downtown Tirana and is accessible by subway.
I went there without knowning what was inside. Nice place and full of historic photos but also gadgets, guns and clothes that people wore during the communism era. It is a very big place and it took me more than one hour and a half to explore the underground bunker! You can easily buy the tickets there (no need for reservation) and it will cost you 500ALL. I absolutely recommend this place!
Mario — Google review
Interesting museum in a bunker mostly dedicated to the secret police of the communist regime, with some creative exhibits. The beginning of the exhibition covers the history of police forces in Albania, and might be going in too much details for foreigners. Not as good as the (excellent) original Bunk'Art, however it is so conveniently located that it'd be a shame to miss it
Florent Lachenaud — Google review
This museum is well worth visiting and you should plan at least 1hr +
There are lots of different rooms as you walk through the old nuclear bunker.
You can earn about the formation of the secret police and how people were toured and killed.
It's not for the faint hearted and be prepared to read a lot of the different explanations.
Paul Allen — Google review
A truly unique and interesting experience. This place was absolutely unreal and the bunkers just kept going and going and going. There were heaps of old furniture, telephones, original fixtures and information about the history and political climate at the time. Very stuffy and damp in some places, but it adds to the experience. Cash only and you can pay Euro or LEK. Enjoy
Alex — Google review
Definitely one of the places to visit in Tirana. Some of the displays are rather dry (a lot of writing and written in a way that feels like it was a librarian who wrote it), but the experience overall is pretty neat - and these bunkers (there are tens of thousands of them) form a unique part of Albanian history/culture. Everything is translated in both Albanian and English.
Darryl Bannon — Google review
Nice museum with a lot of history, but I recommend visiting this one first and then the Bunk’Art 1.
If you already saw the first out, there is no need to check this one out cause it is not as amazing.
If you are really into history, both of them are worth visiting as the information is different and everything is also translated in English.
Diana Enica — Google review
The Bunker entrance costs 500 Lek if you want to discover by yourself. They offer a guide for 1000 Lek more.
The exhibition shows how the communist regime failed. It’s a gloomy and scary atmosphere with sounds and film. The Bunker have lots of rooms where you can go and see some parts of the revolution but also the bedroom of the minister.
Ste Do — Google review
I really enjoyed my experience at Bunk'Art 2. Unique way to learn about the history of Albania. I agree with other reviews to try to go early or during non-peak times. It can definitely get crowded in the tunnels underground.
Eric Archer — Google review
The museum is not well thought out. I later learned that this comes from the government not knowing what to do with this bunker, so they just made it I to a museum. The exhibitions feel like they took articles from Wikipedia and posted them on boards and created figures using whatever they had left laying around. The bathrooms are also very dirty and don't even have seats. This really showed how little they do with the proceeds.
Rosalie B — Google review
We really enjoyed the exhibition and it was a perfect introduction to modern Albanian history. In some moments it was very emotional for us mostly because our country Czechia (which used to be Czechoslovakia) shares a very similar communist history. The museum was large and it took us over two hours to go through all of the rooms. This is a must when you’re in Tirana for sure!
B?la — Google review
This is a great museum outlining Albania's transition as an independent country, through fascist Europe and the following communist era. Information was well presented, though they could relook at translation issues. Certainly a problem for non English and Albanian speakers but also, direct translation from Albanian made it challenging to read for English speakers also. Still a fabulous museum more than worth visiting.

It was a really nice museum and pretty big as well which I didn't expect. I'm putting 4 stars only because I think that 7€ for the general ticket it's a bit expensive, without any discounts for students. In any case it's definitely worth visiting if you interested in the history of Albania.

Great place to visit, and see all the different rooms. They all have different exhibitions.
I suggest going with time, since there is a lot to read and learn about some Albanian history

The entry is 600 ALL per person
The only downside is that the app to see the AR is not available in the app store

A thought-provoking museum about Albania's history and the strict communist dictatorship. The whole museum is a decommissioned bunker - I really liked how the entrance looks!
I personally liked it more than BUNK'ART 1 - this one has less specific history about people and events, and is more leaned towards the regime's workings - spying, citizens' life during the regime, foreign influences, etc.
Tip: You can buy a joint ticket for both BUNK'ART museums for 10 euros.
Radu Rosca — Google review
Bunk’art 2 was a really interesting way of telling the history of Albania through wartime and its independence! This museum really outlined the difficulties experienced, the struggle they fought through and the horrendous acts carried out under some leaders
It’s a lot of reading in here so prefer for that. It is cash only and on the more expensive side at 700LEK/€7

A real highlight of my trip to Albania. A hugely innovative and thought-provoking experience that blends the history of anti-nuclear cold war bunkers with modern technology such as augmented reality and virtual reality.
Ameer Jumabhoy — Google review
I’ll never know if this is better to visit than House of Leaves or Bunk’Art 1. Either way you will look at older Albanian people differently afterwards, obtaining a slight understanding of what they lived through. So it is worth the visit, seeing either this museum or one of the others. I’m not sure it matters exactly which specific one as there is an overlap, so choose one and get it done. Bring lek — euro or card aren’t accepted.
Damian Tapley — Google review
I was expecting to see art, but there is history about how people were tortured. Not really my type of subject, but the way they presented the stories in each room is ok. It is kind of a dark place though.
You can only pay cash in euro or all at the entrance.

The Resurrection Cathedral (Katedralja Ngjallja e Krishtit) is an Albanian Orthodox church situated in the center of Tirana, Albania. It is considered among the largest Eastern Orthodox churches in the Balkans. It was officially opened on June 24, 2012, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the revival of the Albanian Orthodox Church and the election of Archbishop Anastasios of Albania. Designed by the New York City-based Architect and Engineering team of Steven P. Papadatos and Lizardos Engineering Associates. The complex of the cathedral includes the following buildings: the cathedral, the chapel of the Nativity, the bell tower, the residence of the Holy Synod, the cultural center, a library, two other chapels and a small museum. The cathedral's dome is 32.2 m high, with the bell tower reaching 46 metres
The bell tower, designed and sculpted by Archbishop Anastasios, is composed of four Paschal candles which symbolize the four Evangelists who proclaimed the Resurrection. These join around the central shaft of stairs. The winding staircase leads to two open floors with 16 bells. A four-sided clock sits above the bells. The two underground levels below the cathedral church were used to fulfill the church's need for a Cultural and Conference Center. The center has an amphitheater with a capacity for 500-850 people which may be used to host lectures, shows, and concerts. The auxiliary wings and backstage allow this hall to be used as a theater also.
On the eastern side of the amphitheater is a small museum, a lecture hall, a surrounding for banquets and an area for exhibitions and children's activities.
To the right of the grand marble staircase which leads to the church cathedral there is ample space for a bookstore and a store with church items. Meanwhile, to the left of the stairs are two rooms where youth groups and faithful can gather after church services. To the north, in front of the Conference and Cultural Center there is a small outdoor amphitheater, for use during summer months.

Katedralja Orthodhokse 'Ngjallja e Krishtit', Rruga Ibrahim Rugova 1, Tirana 1001, Albania
This mosque, built in the 18th century, is one of Skanderbeg Square's most iconic attractions. The Mosque features colourful frescoes both inside and out, as well as being an important part of Tirana's history. In 1991, 10,000 people came together outside the mosque in an event which helped contribute to the fall of Albania's communist government.
Gorgeous, quite distinctive mosque in the centre of Tirana. Like almost every other mosque in Albania, is one of the oldest mosques in Albania. That's what iconoclasm gets you.

This is one of very few mosques in Albania to resist the communist regime without being demolished. It has an ottoman architecture but it is quite unique with its still life paintings, something rarely seen in Islamic architecture. It's a first-category monument of culture. It is also one of the most beloved mosques for muslims in Tirana, since it is located right in the city center, it is one of the oldest and it is a symbol of survival of faith.

The Hajji Et'hem Bey Mosque (Albanian: Xhamia e Haxhi Et'hem Beut) is a mosque in Tirana, Albania which is a cultural monument. The mosque is adorned with beautiful frescoes outside and in the portico depicting trees, waterfalls and bridges (typically walls are white and this is an exception). Tourists can go inside but need to take off shoes and comply with the dress code. Pictures without flash are allowed to be taken inside. The mosque construction was started in late 18th century and finished in early 19th century. It survived the years of communism and functions as a mosque today. It takes 10-15 minutes to complete the tour (i.e., go inside to appreciate the history and beauty of the building) and is highly recommended. Entry is free. There are still communist buildings in a very poor state of preservation... next to the new skyscrapers... a curious mix.
A visit to the center of Tirana is essential...with pleasant terraces in the Opera building.

At the heart of Tirana, the square is quite magnificent looking and fitting for a budding tourist city. See it as the centre point of new Tirana, resplendent with Albania imagery, from before communism and after.

Awesome place to sit and relax whenever you are in Tirana & visit the tourist sites which are around the square. In our 6 days stay in Tirana we visited the square everyday just to chill & enjoy the lively full of energy happenings around the square and enjoy the lovely food in the restaurants just a stone throw away from the square.

Central large open square with the famous slanderbeg statue as well as the natural history museum, opera and the I love tirana. Because the square is so large it never seemed crowded eventough many people, both tourist and locals, crossing it every day. It's an good starting point to and from eitber busses to airport, the mountains or other parts of the city; to the parks and shopping streets; or to the suburbs.
A central point like this really gives something extra to a city and there's a lot of history there. Esthetically maybe not the most beautiful square, however I loved the stones that were used and the square resembles the complex albanian history making it an important place and starting point of your journey in Tirana.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!
This large square, the symbol of Tiranya, is an amazing place.
There are so many attractions for families to enjoy.
It's better than any other amusement park. It's amazing to have a square like this in the middle of the city.
Most of the children's favorite rides are equipped, and the fee is 3 euros per ride.
In addition to the rides, popping balloons (it will empty your pockets)
We have a variety of food trucks, cafes, and bars.
Enjoy well-cooked sausages and draft beer!

What a square.. a huge space with such an eclectic mix of architecture and history surrounding it. From the mosque to the opera, the old and the new it really is worth walking around and sitting a while to absorb the atmosphere. Plenty of seating around the edges including the cafes outside the opera house.

Tirana during the Christmas period is a festive delight, with the city adorned in colorful lights and lively decorations. Strolling through Skanderbeg Square, you'll feel the holiday spirit in the air, as locals and visitors alike enjoy the cheerful atmosphere. The city's vibrant energy, combined with seasonal markets and cultural events, creates a warm and welcoming experience. While it's a joyful time to explore Tirana's landmarks, keep in mind that the Christmas period can be bustling, so plan accordingly to make the most of the festive charm without missing out on the city's unique offerings.

A mist visit place in tirana. The center of the city where all the business take place. Very big space and a lot of tourist. There’s the national history musuem and a beautiful mosque nearby.

This was the third time that I have visited here Albania, Tirana and Skanderbeg Square, but most likely on new year, I haven't seen such thing, especially that fireworks 🎇 Really amazing, mesmerizing, unbelievable. Couldn't even sleep that night, there were many activities and events during that week. But of course most important is Balkan atmosphere.. I wasn't expecting that much but really was cool. Even in summer and winter, only disadvantage is you need to do stock especially when you are visiting as tourist and will stay in hostel or in a flat. 😅
I highly recommend you to visit any time you want, although there are some restricted things to do in Tirana but certainly you will have great time, take every opportunity. Foods as well and many amazing cafés & restaurants. Try traditional cuisine as well :)

We only went at night when there was a Christmas market on. It was well set out with some stalls and rides. Especially good if you wanted to go on bumper cars or test your punching strength. It seemed like mostly locals but we didn’t feel out of place or uncomfortable as tourists.

Huge square of significance in the centre of Tirana. It is surrounded by places of interest such as Skanderbeg statue, the national history museum and Et hem bej mosque.
There is underground parking at this location although entrance/exit points are very narrow. The parking is not free.
Beware of the stray dogs as I nearly got by a pack.

Durrës Amphitheatre is a 2nd-century CE Roman amphitheater built by Emperor Trajan, boasting a capacity of 20,000 seats. Located in the heart of Durres, Albania, this historical site offers visitors an authentic glimpse into the ancient past. While exploring the city, travelers can immerse themselves in local culture and reminisce with Albanians about their cherished memories.
The Roman Amphitheater of Durrës was built under emperor Trajan in 2nd century and was destroyed twice by earthquakes in the 6th and 10th centuries. It is still preserved very well, considering everything. Its capacity was estimated from 15000 to 18000 spectators. It was discovered in 1966 and it is a place you must see while visiting the city.
Daniel Haman — Google review
The ruins of the Roman amphitheater are in the middle of the center of Durrës and would be hard to miss if you're looking for whatever little remains of the ancient part of the city. You might be tempted not pay the admission price because most of the ruins are visible from the streets that surround it. But if you're a lover of archaeology and you want to get a closer look at the location of gladiator fights in a Roman province, a stroll inside is essential. You might have to do a little bit of careful climbing, but it's part of the adventure. Well worth the detour.
Georges Younes — Google review
What a great spot to see and feel history, the admission price of 400 leks for two of us is very reasonable. There is no guided tour here, you just walk around by yourself and it's perfect!!! You walk out on the field in the middle as well.
There's also a really cool mosaic in one the rooms.
Brian Helms — Google review
Nice day out with family. Plenty to see if you like archaeological sites and ruins, it is a long walk around with some uneven ground where it is difficult to walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for climbing. Lots of shaded areas yo stop and rest
The coffee shop is very overpriced but comes in handy for cold refreshments after the big walk. We went on Saturday and there was no parking available it is better to catch a bus if you can. Lots of people around but the place is huge so it doesn't feel over crowded. Expect to pay an entrance fee 1000 LK per adult and 500 for a child over 12
Sandra Elezovic — Google review
This is our second time coming here in five years. There is a 2000 year old story written and lived in these walls. It definitely needs a lot of work to preserve it and make it more interesting, because this amphitheater is a treasure that needs to be known by everyone. We still enjoyed it. My 9 year young daughter was very excited to visit this gem and she loved it.
Eduart Mustafa — Google review
Great place to visit but poor service.
I went there the last Sunday of October.
The last Sunday of each month you can visit all the historical museums and parks without paying if you are Albanian.
But the lady who worked there didn't let me to go in,because she told me that I have to pay.
I went to the Archeological museum too, and there I could visit the place without paying.
The law is not the same 😉🤔
Majlinda Linda — Google review
The place is OK, it's cheap to get in but nothing special to see. If they dig out a bit more and cater for international tourists it will help. It's one of the handful of places to visit in Durres so you might as well pop in to it.
Stuart Hurcomb — Google review
The biggest Roman amphitheater on the Balkan peninsula! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. And there is no need to pay the entrance fee, just walk around it and you will have a great view from above!
Marc Stadler — Google review
A lot of history here. If you go to the street above the amphitheater, you can have an ample view of the complex. Worth going there.

Chris Scott — Google review
One of the oldest Amphitheaters in Europe. Visitors can climb old seats, stand in the middle of the theater (and perform if you want). It's not really big, in 10 -15 minutes you can cover inside and outside. Cost at the time of the visit was about US $3 per person. Still, ancient history you can touch and make your imagination wonder is priceless.
Val Klionsky — Google review
Old but in ruins. Enter after paid some euros. You can see everything from outside.
One of the most visited museums in the country, the Archaeological Museum in the ancient coastal city of Durrës is a comprehensive introduction to Albania’s rich history throughout the millennia.
The largest museum in the country, the Durrës Archaeological Museum holds some of the most treasured prehistoric and ancient objects in the history of Albania. It is situated by the seaside promenade, the museum offers a journey through the rich history of this very important city by the sea as well as the entire country.
Currently is undergoing some renovation.

Meticulously curated museum with a downloadable video and text guide in many languages. Many of the artifacts shown are intact - an indication of how careful the excavations were executed. Only the ground floor has so far been filled, so it is worthwhile coming back to when all three floors will be.

Good museum. Quite cheap, so you must visit it. Performs good antique archaeological goods (pods, tools, jewelery), some of which are renovated, the other part is new.
Unfortunately, second and third floor of this beautiful museum were closed and I am unable to tell you about them. The overall look of museum is good, it is worth to visit it.
Great Museum. Good way to display the history of albania and also some historic artifacts. If you scroll down you can see old pictures on the ratings but trust me. After EU investing together with albania the museum is made all over looking modern but also ancient very attractive to the sore eye. I recomand 100% to stop by and visit the place!

I will say best museum in Albania to visit. Exterior is classic, showing old traditional house of Kruja. But I will say interior is more beautiful and classic. What a wonderful way of showing traditional way of living, and showcasing their cultural dresses, seating arrangements in house, wonderful. On ground floor are more storage spaces and working showrooms like how they were used. On upper floor is the arrangements of a typical house settings. Every item at display is beautiful, and guide explains it in very intersection way. Guide is very nice man, he can speak in Italian, French, Spanish, English and Albanese languages. Must visit place and 100 % recommended.

Small but amazing museum, definitely worth visiting when exploring the Krujë Castle. It's an interesting peek into a daily life of Ottoman family.
The whole house is preserved and every room looks very close to how it was back in the day. You can see historical Ottoman kitchen, living room, bedroom, hammam, different workshops (wool, wine, rakja, tools...)
There was a guide inside who was very kind and helpful and immediately told us many interesting facts about each room. There's also an information board outside in many languages, even Czech (my language).
Overall a great experience, highly recommended!

The Castle of Kruja, also known as Kruje Castle, is a historic site in Albania that played a significant role in the battles between Albanian hero Skanderbeg and the Ottoman Empire. The castle offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and features various museums, including the Tekke of Dollmë monument and the ruins of a mosque. The castle itself is beautiful, standing there as an immortal testament to the times gone by. It is, however, out and about Kruja itself where you get the feel for the place - from the stunning sights to the bazaar just a short walk from the castle. Go there and bask in the beauty that is Albania!
Oh, and the restaurant at the foot of the castle, unexpectedly, is really, really good. The food was surprisingly great.

Incredibly well preserved, great history and great views. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a tourist trap on the way up. If you can make it past the people trying to corral you for parking and the souvenir shops in the old town, it's worth the short walk up! Don't miss the old fort that's free and behind the main castle.

This is also called Skanderberg castle. There is a museum over here. If you are interested in history this is the place for you. Also the view from here is very beautiful, you will find a lot of street shops here comparatively more costly than what you find in the city. But some of the items are really good and things that you will not find in the city. Recommended if you are a tourist in Albania 🇦🇱.

Loved it! I went to Kruje with my friends and we had so mutch fun watching all of that stuff. The restaurants were near us and the old baazar too. Entering the museum was a whole different thing, it was crazy and awesome. Old pictures, old flags and other old things that represent Albania in the past. The only problem in the museum was that you were not allowed to take photos but we didn't really care because we were magnified. Awesome I totally recomend it!

I love castles. This one is only a short walk from town, through the awesome bazaar.
The castle has been rebuilt into a museum, it didn’t work that well for me. Not like the castles of old but still worthwhile visiting for the spectacular views of the mountains and countryside.
I love the way many buildings in the castle grounds are still used.
Even though it doesn’t say, make sure you explore the grounds, that’s where the real treasure is.

We have been on a castle visiting spree in Europe. Before this one my favorite was Prajama castle in Slovenia. I must say though this castle was absolutely stunning. The fee to get in is quite inexpensive about 500 Lek or 5 Euro. It's one of the most well kept castles I've seen out here. The journey is treacherous though. I rented a car and drove and it was an adventure. Definitely an adventure worth the destination though.

Really beautiful original and traditional place of mountains, the castle, and of the bazaar. Museum quite disappointing, a place with so much rich history and traditions but so little information and display. It's a bit of steep and rocky walking, definitely not for high heels. Cars can drive up to the top of the castle where there is a dormitory and restaurant a limited place . Otherwise, it is an all lovely and enjoyable trip.
Emi Kaza — Google review
Not worth it if you like castles, as I do. There's only an old tower in quite a bad state. And then a very ugly new one with the museum, that I didn't visit. The city itself is even uglier and there is construction everywhere, which is good for the locals, but not for visitors. Construction trucks use most of the already narrow road.
F PE — Google review
The place is free to visit, in renovation and with an awesome view towards the city. Right before the entry there are lot of coffees and a bazaar ("charshiya") with all kinds of items. Bring cash though, they wouldn't serve me coffee because I wanted to pay by card. More than anything the view and mountains behind the castle are more impressive than the castle itself. It's a really small one. A mosque is being built next to the turkish baths. It'll probably be better in a few years. Traffic is horrible. As far as I understand a sat/sun visit may take x5 time because of inability to leave.

This is pretty good - organized and thorough. It will take a couple of hours to really get the most out of it, and if you're as uninformed about Skanderbeg as I was then you'll find a lot of pleasure in learning about this whole fluid period of central European history. I found it really useful to have Google Translate on permanent call for the Albanian and Latin.

I loved visiting this museum! It's situated in the main Citadel and its main focus is the national hero of Albania, Skanderbeg.
There are also artifacts from ancient Illyrians, as well as many historical writings, drawings, maps, icons... The exposition is very well structured and everything is translated to English.
The entry fee is 500 lek for tourists, which I find very reasonable, especially considering what you'll get to see.

The best way to know everything about the Albanian national hero.
The building itself has an interesting story as it was built by the communist leader's daughter in the eighties and the way it looks shows it.
There are few original pieces as most Albanian art is in foreign museums but the reproductions are good enough to explain the history.

An interesting place! There are signs that help you understand the history. You can see the sea from here. A beautiful, quiet and unique place to stop in Albania. The road to the top is all up hill. The Google map shows it as a 30-minute walk, but due to the steep incline I recommend taking a car unless you are in great shape or want to spend some good amount of time walking up there. The view is quite something. I didn’t see any restrooms there and it is not a tourist trap. There are no shops or restaurants. Just go to enjoy the beauty and the history of the area.

Lezhë Castle (Albanian:Kalaja e Lezhës) is a castle dominating the city of Lezhë, northern Albania. Its highest point is 186 metres (610 ft). Lezhë Castle is at an elevation of 322 metres (1,056 ft).
The castle originates from Illyrian times. In 1440 it was reconstructed by the Venetians, and in 1522, after the Ottoman conquest, it was also rebuilt by the latter. The castle bears traces of Illyrian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman architecture. Interesting places to visit are the ruins of the Ottoman buildings inside the castle, the mosque, the tower of the south-eastern wall with a Roman arch, and the Illyrian tower on the southern wall. The Lezha castle is a cultural monument. The castle offers a beautiful view of the Lezha fields and the Adriatic Sea

Super views on the surrounding town and countryside from this old fortification. No tourists to speak of, so you can explore is peace and quiet.
Arthur Krzycki — Google review
Smaller than Shkodra castle but definitely worth seeing. You can clearly see the ancient Illyrian architecture in the large blocks that form the base of the fortress. You can drive up to the fortress and the views from the top of the hill are magnificent.
At the bottom of the hill you can see more of the Illyrian ruins and Skënderbeu's "tomb". You may want to be careful were you explore around the monument as you might step in some unpleasantness where a wall has become a public "restroom".

This castle is very old! You can drive your car almost to the entrance, just follow the signs to the castle from city center, free parking at the top. You have to pay to go in the castle, but its not much. The views at the top are stunning, overlooking the city and the ocean. Highly recommend. Easy stop going between Tirana and Shkoder.

This castle is beautiful and haunting. Nature has taken back a lot of the interior, and the views of the mountains and valleys are breathtaking. Definitely worth visiting.

Amazing location and view, would benefit greatly from a bit of cleaning up trash and trimming weeds. Pretty spectacular 360-degree vistas!

I'll never travel to Shkoder without this trip planner again
Absolutely in love with this place if ur on a budget and looking for a cheap beach vacation I definitely recommend coming here the people are soo friendly and cool. And the place it self says it all 🤍🫶🏼

Love this town and its people. Beautiful, welcoming and hospitable. I felt at home. Recommend the long watch in the beach. Visit some of the restaurants here and respect the locals. Respect the environment please.
Ejaz Malikzada — Google review
It’s a nice small town it has the mountain thenits the town then the beach
It is a town which is growing each year the buildings are bout build right in the sea shore (unlike some
Other towns)
Perfect a little get away there’s bars restaurants
And of corse the beach the cost is not too expensive again compare to other beaches in Albania it is affordable
Not sure about the hotel prices haven’t checked them yet this place is bout 1hr 20 min max from Tirana very easy to get to.
Not trying to sugar coat anything here yes there is a bit of mess but the town is up and growing.
K C — Google review
The place is nice and quite for now but it will get busy during the Summer vocations.
It was a good EXP for my first beach party in here as well.
The only thing is that the people around here should be take care of the beach and Keep it Clean for more visitors.
Breeze Ermine — Google review
Serious problem for local endeavors to establish tourist businesses.
The beach, from top to bottom suffers from way too much waste that is obviously left by visitors of the beach. This is totally intolerable for most western european tourists. From car parts, to clothes, to rotten boats, to packaging waste... It apears like a dump yard for long streches.
If the community over at Shengjini does not cope with this, all their beautiful hotels will not be visited often.
Save the environment. Do something.
Andreas Schwab — Google review
staying at the southern quieter part of Shengjin. Still the beach here is crowded, sunbeds (500 lek for 2 beds and umbrella) packed too close to another. No garbage apart from cigarette butts. Beach is shallow, water is usually calm or with some moderate waves. Water is foggy with very limited visibility.
Shengjin is not much fun. Newly built. Promenade and fun fair.. not much else. Lots of mosquitos. Sewer stench is terrible (usually in evening-night hours), guess the infrastructure can't hold the many (and many more still u/c) apt buildings.
People are friendly and hospitable, esp. toward foreigners, but not many of them speak english good.
Filip Trajkovski — Google review
A busy, bustling beach in Central Albania. It is a short 15 minutd journey from Lezhë in public bus or furgon - don't pay more than 50 lek for it. There are public deckchairs, showers and local people selling their wares. I recommend the delicious milkshake sold by the lads on the little yellow vehicle. Some nice and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Water is pleasantly cool and the sand is soft underfoot. Nice for a few hours' swimming and people watching.

Good beach, not ideal of you're looking for a quiet place.
Ada Bojana is a charming island with sandy shorelines, waterfront restaurants, and cozy accommodations. It features the beautiful Ada Bajona beach strip where two lakes meet and kite surfing is a popular activity among visitors. The island also attracts nudists who enjoy its free space and lovely beaches. However, some reviewers note that the breakfast options need improvement, but there is a good pizza restaurant nearby.
Been there 3 years in the row. Amazing place. Will come back in the future. Ada Bojana beach is worth to stay for whole day.

Better than the other ones nearby, but there's still a lot of trash. Start respecting what you have, Montenegro!

Amazing place. Vast sand beaches with lounge bars alongside coast, great restaurants with amazing seafood closer to the bridge side. Highly recommended for couples, families and even party people, as well as for kite surfing clubs and many other activities. Best place to spend vacation in whole Montenegro.

Ada Bojana has an awesome sandy beach! Lots of positive people and a very relaxed atmosphere.

The nude naturalist beaches of Ada Bojana are, glorious w/ warm waves and a bar in where Albanians and Serbs enjoy. Border of, Albania!
Long Beach is a vast expanse of shoreline, dotted with numerous dining options and schools for kitesurfing. The beach's sand is colored brown, with some volcanic grains intermingled. The sea gradually slopes away from the shore, stretching hundreds of meters outwards, providing a safe environment for children to swim. This beach is famous for its size and beauty and considered the best in Montenegro by many visitors.
Sandy, wide and spacy. Sand in dusty and dark.
M. F. — Google review
A beautiful sand beach, the water is clean. Probably one of the best places in Montenegro. The beach is not the best for city people though, cause there isn't music playing around and there are 1-2 caffes. Amazing beach though!

Long sandy beach. Beautiful sea, just a perfect and definitely best beach in whole Montenegro. Amazing place.
Ivan Filipovi? — Google review
Very beautiful beach.
Expect it to be windy, not so calm - this is why I love it even more as it can be very fun!
I recommend you get one of the all inclusive packages with one of the hotels/resorts as the prices can be quite high if you’re staying for a longer time.

Super! Huge, clean, and safe swimming. You'll need a car to find your favourite spot.

This review is for the area near Dormicium. Nature and the beach are great. What sucks are the access roads (which suck everywhere in Montenegro except the only highway) and prices.
Jakub Veber — Google review
Clean and nice beach, very comfortable for kids to get in and out from the sea. Beach bar was a bit more expensive as expected, but also fine. Showers need to be replaced.

What I loved the most - there is no one even seen to the horizon in winter. You can just stay there alone with yourself and cry, or laugh or whatever you want lol

Nice beach, the sand is darker but still good for walking and swimming
katarzyna polemonkey — Google review
Hallo. I was today at the long beach for a walk and to swim and take a look for the kite surfing school. What I found was a shock. A beach full of trash and an accumulation of plastic garbage. I found pieces of sofa, shoes, a syringe from a hospital, a gasoline can, tons of plastic garbage. For 13 km. It was disgusting!!!!!
valeria herrlein — Google review
Great beach, very clean and spacious..and veeeery long one)) the color of sand is brown, some volcanic sand. The sea is not deep so some hundred meters so, it is safe for children.
Julia Rybalkina — Google review
Nice long sandy beach. You spend easily days here even in peak season, because easy to find less crowded spots.
This vibrant city beach offers sandy shores, calm waters for swimming and a variety of amenities. The Sunset Bar, located in the Old Town, boasts stunning views while the Small Beach can be overly touristy during peak season. For those seeking a more secluded adventure, consider hiking to Salina with its famous flamingos.
The best and most notorious beach in all Montenegro, the best place to enjoy your holiday, take pictures, and learn about it's history. 10/10 would definetly recomend.

It's very crowded in July and August.
suad tosuni — Google review

The location is very beautiful, the water is clean, a pleasant combination of nature and urban development, but it is disturbing that the beach is practically occupied by the sunbeds and umbrellas of the hotels and you don't really have a place to sit. It is also ugly that the beach is full of the mess left by people who smoke on the beach and throw all kinds of other debris.
Octavian Costin — Google review
Off-peak visit, so not crowded. Gets very busy (crammed) at height of season. Plenty of bars & restaurants. Walk up to the Old Town from here, for better quality restaurants and great sea views.

The dirtiest and most overcrowded beach I have seen in my life...
Wu eS — Google review
My rate is strictly for the beach in front of Hotel Plaza which seems to be a private beach administrated by Hotel Plaza. The beach is really dirty, full of cigarette butts and other materials. They charge 25 Euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella and in case someone is leaving during the day and someone else takes over the sunbeds, they ask again the same price. The man from the beach bar which is collecting the money for sunbeds is really ok and understanding, but in the evening the beach is "checked" by another man which is rude with the customers. Even I have been here for few days because you don't have a better choice, I don't recommend it.

Probably the closest to what is called the "public beach" in Ulcinj...Located near the old town, it has a lot of hotels, restaurants and terraces nearby...We arrived here on a weekend at the end in September, about the end of the summer season and if it was empty in the first part of the day, in the afternoon it was full! The water is warm and clean, the beach is unfortunately a bit dirty, including in the landscaped areas belonging to the hotels!
Nedelcu Florin — Google review
Just like any European beaches, crowded after 9 am. Go earlier or later than 6 pm, if you want avoid the crowd. Shallow water when low tide, which is early morning and evening. Check the tide forecast.
Hiroko Morioka — Google review
It's way too crowded for me. Literally packed with 🏖️ and sunbeds side by side. There are other beaches nearby that have more space and are cleaner. In high season it might be good to have a coffee around here and walk by on the way to the fortress. Not my cup of tea
Thomas Vermeulen — Google review
On may the beach is still unclean. Sea grass, stones in the shallow water, not to be seen when you walk in water.
Town shoud start invest and maintain the Mala Plaza. It is like visitcard of Ulcinj. Take care of this nice beach!
Hannele Kuitunen — Google review
It's very crowded. People there behave like animals... Loud music everywhere, you can't rest in peace.
Szymon Pruszek — Google review
Merita vizitat. Daca ajungi aici merita sa vizitezi si orasul vechi. Exista si un muzeu, dar paznici de acolo nu prea baga turistii straini in seama. Parcare se gaseste peste tot in zona. Preturile la parcare sunt mici si tichetele se pot cumpara de la magazinele din zona. Mancarea de la restaurantele din zona e foarte buna. Merita vizitat

It's worth visiting. If you get here, it's worth visiting the old town. There is also a museum, but the guards there don't really care about foreign tourists. Parking is everywhere in the area. Parking prices are low and tickets can be bought from shops in the area. The food at the restaurants in the area is very good. It's worth visiting

Crowded on day time. Also, water might be not good quality because of transport and too many people. It is a bay where water keeps still, so better to find a place with less people.

The staff at Old Town Rooms is impressive, and the hotel boasts an excellent seaside location in the historic district. It is highly recommended for a memorable stay. Their restaurant offers delicious seafood dinners and tasty omelettes and coffee for breakfast. Currently, they are renovating all of their rooms, with the completed ones already looking fantastic. Many of the accommodations feature balconies. They have plans to finish renovating all rooms by next year. Overall, Old Town Rooms provides good lodging with friendly hospitality.
Amazing staff! Perfect location looking over the sea in the old town! This is the location to stay in. They have a really nice restaurant where you can have fish for dinner and a great omelette and coffee for breakfast.
They are renovating all the rooms - the rooms that are done are really nice. Many of the rooms have balconys. They told me that they will have all the rooms done next year. Really recommend to stay here.

(Translated by Google) Tragedy. I am writing to warn you against wasting your holidays. We booked a total of 11 nights and after 2 nights, fortunately, we managed to say goodbye to this beautiful place, as some people describe. Instead of writing, I'm sending a few photos as a warning. Not to mention it's not all bad, the views are amazing. I reported the matter via booking where I booked the place because despite the omnipresent dirt, no one bothered to clean the wonderful shared kitchen for two days (it's a miracle with a washing machine), the TV didn't work, there were ants in the room. this green bottle is the set of cosmetics we had left after arriving. there was supposed to be a welcome drink, but maybe it's good that there wasn't, because I would have run away from there drunk. the room was not cleaned, we spent over 10€ on chemicals to clean the bathroom, there was a lot of black curly hair everywhere. despite this we were asked to pay 100% for 2 nights and 30% to cancel the remaining 9 days. Fortunately, we moved to Albania and the holiday was saved. After we complained, they wanted to give us rooms of a higher standard, but together with the whole family we decided to leave after 2 days.

Tragedia . Pisze aby was przestrzec przed zmarnowaniem sobie wakacji.
