(Translated by Google) It is worth it. Gravel road, but very good. Some places are a little scary because of the many curves and ravines. But the view and nature make up for it. There are birds, guanacos, zorros. I went at the end of August and some places had snow and guanacos drinking in the meltwater. You go up and at the top there is the Cruz de Paramillos. I highly recommend it, it is very beautiful to go towards Uspallata along this road.

Vale a pena.

Nice place to visit, I think its a good option for families with children and for retired who enjoy a relaxing walk and a short guided tour around the hotel which is closed and abandoned. In my opinion the 350 pesos fee is quite expensive for what you receive.

A very good alternative to vineyard tours in Mendoza is to hire a car and come to this natural reserve. Guanaco is an easy sighting here since they are protected, along with condors and other animals. The view is sublime.

The impressive Army of the Andes Monument is a must-see in Mendoza. It's well worth the visit for its impressive scale and variety of statues and memorials. However, there are no signs explaining the different parts of the monument, so be prepared to do a little bit of research before you go.
We took a special tour which included sound and digital images projected on the monument.

I took the bus no 531 to the bottom of the hill and then walked all the way up. It's not a very difficult walk but the sun here is really burning so be prepared for that. There are also tour buses going up to the tip from the city center of Mendoza, but I really like to do stuff on my own. It should be on your list for Mendoza City but if you only have a couple of days here, there's prob more interesting stuff to do.

I'll never travel to Mar del Plata without this trip planner again
Lago Del Parque General San Martin is a vast urban park in the heart of the city, spanning across 420 hectares. It boasts a stunning lake, scenic promenades adorned with statuary and a delightful rose garden perfect for relaxation. The park entrance features impressive gates forged for the Turkish Sultan and shipped from England.
Beautiful park, designed by the French architect and landscaper Carlos Thays. The interesting thing about the park is that it was built to improve the health of the time (epidemics of diphtheria, cholera, and measles) and also the park serves as an alluvial defense. I recommend renting a bicycle to explore it entirely, and enjoy the sunset from near the lake.
Manu Rivoir — Google review
Very nice park, lots of shade, a few places to eat scattered around.
Minus one star due to some guy with a microphone and loud PA system shouting and another system playing music.
Came for quite relaxation.
Got fed up with the noise.

Speechless. This park is a masterpiece of a recreational area in Mendoza. You can run, rowing, play tennis, picnicking, take a walk with your love one. It's magic. And the fountain! Come to visit Mendoza and don't miss Parque San Martín

Bodega Ruca Malen is an incredible experience. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. My wife and I were visiting Mendoza from New York City, and we dropped in (no reservation!) for a 7-course lunch with wine pairings. Let me tell you, it was one of the best meals we have EVER had. Each course of the meal was exquisite, and the chef's choices were unique, well-prepared, and incredibly flavorful. We had 5 different wines (whites and reds), and each wine was lovely and perfectly paired with each course. Our server and sommelier were highly attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept our wine glasses full throughout the nearly 3 hour meal. In addition, the bodega is located inside a sprawling and gorgeous vineyard, with the Andes mountains in the background. Much of the staff spoke both English and Spanish. If you are in Lujan de Cuyo, you absolutely must stop by for lunch. You will be talking about this meal for days. If I lived in the region, I would come here at least once a month!

A winery with a restaurant near Mendoza. It was great. The buildings and vineyards were beautiful, and I was able to eat very comfortably.
Although the price is relatively high, you can enjoy wine and food that are worth it. They serve wines that match each course meal. You can buy a bottle of wine to take home.

We went there without a booking to see the property. Unlike many wineries that didn’t let us in without booking, not only they welcome us but also offered us a glass of wine, which was fantastic. The place is stunning and the staff super friendly. We bought several bottles of Malbec.

Great food with amazing views. Some of best food I‘ve ever eaten. Camila did a great job introducing all the ingredientes for every dish. Always professional and very attentive. The Wine, not so great. The Wine pairing menu for 8 courses, about £47 p/p. Expensive compared to other vineyards in the region. Would I do it again? Yes for the food, service and views.

Superb food and wine and all in all, a great way to spend an afternoon just outside of Mendoza. It's a little bit far out of the city, but certainly worth the visit for the experience and the high quality service, food and wine. Diana is precious! Such wonderful hospitality and very knowledgeable. We gave her tips about American wineries (California, Oregon, Washington, Finger Lakes region). She was so enthusiastic and inquisitive as were we about this area and history. Unfortunately we visited on Sovereignty Day and missed the restaurant being opened. However, very nice tour and tasting. Absolutely gorgeous property. The wine? Wow! Beautiful petit verdot and Cabernet franc. I have not personally had an Argentinian Pinot noir but I am now a huge fan. Thank you so much for a fun, beautiful, professional experience.

Couldn't ask for much more here. Great service, great wine pairings, amazing ambiance. Because it wasn't too hot, I sat outside watching the clouds roll over the Andes during the dining experience. 2 of the courses that preceeded the main courses were a tad underwhelming. I loved the shrimp dish, and the main dish (beef) was a slam dunk. Overall, superb. My only critique: there were essentially 3 small desserts served...I think it would have been very cool if one of them was a local cheese offering.
Ethan Sommer — Google review
Stopped by first thing in the morning with no reservation - Diana greeted us at the door and was an excellent host. We had the Centenario and took one home - excellent wine and value.
Would have loved to take more but needed to manage luggage capacity and shipping wasn’t an option.
Stop by - I think they prefer reservations - but worth the stop!
John Stevens — Google review
Would not recommend the 7 course lunch. Firstly and most notably from the lunch, I found a bug in one of my dishes and a hair in another. The staff never apologised or did anything to compensate for this. Overall the lunch is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. Additionally, when trying to make a reservation I contacted the WhatsApp number as directed on the winery’s Instagram page. After messaging and calling serval times I never received a response. I had however read other reviews where people had simply showed up at the winery for lunch with no problems, so I decided to do this too. However upon arriving I was confronted by a staff member who told me I should have made a reservation in advance by contacting the WhatsApp number, but nonetheless I could be served but it would be rushed. The price was 110,000 pesos per person.
Adam Hamilton — Google review
The place is heaven on earth. The floor seems a thick green carpet, the view of the mountains (still snowy in November!) and the beautiful weather made us have an exquisite experience. Nevertheless the food (although 6 pasos) was scarce and the wine was somewhat short (less than a glass every step of the way) for the AR$1,500 we paid per person. If you are lucky you get a nice waiter that serves you a bit more. Overall we had a great time. Arrive early as 12pm to get a table outside if the weather is nice.
We had a tour and a wine tasting and it was amazing. (In English) One of the most beautiful bodegas we saw in Mendoza en the best service. It was interesting and unhurried. They helped us out with the taxi and many recommendations for the area. Also the Pulenta wine itself is amazing and they let you taste their star wines. Would 100% recommend and go back.
Frauke Schryers — Google review
Amazing winery. Obviously the view is amazingly stunning. But more importantly the wines are good. We came without a reservation and luckily enough were offered a (private) tour and enjoyed it. They also have some vintage engines to be enjoyed by the connoisseurs ;). Rafa was amicable and really gave us all the info we wished to hear on this tour.

We visited for the second time in October 2021. The wines are excellent (among the very best produced in Argentina), the winery, the surrounding fields are beautifull, with superb views to the mountains, and the staff really warm and welcoming. The wine tasting, led with insight and charme by Ivan, the in house sommelier, is probably the best in Mendoza. Book early, as it fills quickly.

I had been looking forward to visiting this winery(bodega) and I am glad to have finally made it. The architecture of the building is Mayan and is definitely a sight to see. I did the wine and music tour and it was interesting and different than any other tour I have done. I could see how music can affect your taste after experiencing this. The wine is top notch and the facilities are incredible. You will need a reservation to get into the place. Also be aware when walking around and taking photos you will be asked if you need any help. If you are in Mendoza this is a must see winery.

I already visited several wineries arround the world. This winery is the most beautiful I ever visited. There people are very friendly and helpful. If you are a winelover, Catena-Zapata is a MUST.
Joel Rubim — Google review
The vineyard visit was amazing! The guide was very friendly and really took the time to explain the lovely history of the brand and how family plays a central role in everything. You really get to learn about and taste the difference in each of the malbecs they feature. The tour was informative as well as tasty as it also came with a degustation of local snacks that paired perfectly with the wine.
They now also have a restaurant close to la pirámide. It is a must visit not just for the delectable tasting menu but also for the beautiful architecture and the treasures it holds underneath. We opted for the smaller tasting menu and left full and satisfied. Bodega Catena Zapata should be a must on everyone’s list of places to visit!

A must visit in Mendoza! Welcoming Staff and amazing quality wines!
We were hosted by Carolina at "La Pirámide" Winery where we discover the Catena Wine Institute and the family history of pioneers.
Later on we had the fortune to visit the new feature of the family: Angélica Restaurant and the distillery where we tasted the unique Vermouth Vincenzo and the most delicious Grappa. Thanks Dani for showing us around!

We did the Wine and Music tour. The winery is beautiful and the view of the Andes is amazing. The wine tour was good. The wine and music tasting was fun, but I was expecting live music and the music was played from a speaker. The wines were tasty. Outside of the tour was staff was not very nice. Everywhere we went they asked us what we were doing and it felt like they were trying to push us out. Overall, more expensive than other experiences that give you a lot more.

Beautiful winery and surroundings. Wine tours here are generally more expensive than most other local vineyards - I did the Renaissance Malbec tour (8,500 Pesos). The guide was very friendly and informative, although I felt that I didn't get the value from the tour compared to the price.
Very good selection of wines, especially on the premium tour.

Casa Vigil, also known as El Enemigo, is a renowned winery in Mendoza owned by Catena and winemaker Alejandro Vigil. The establishment offers an exceptional experience with detailed property tours and exquisite 7-course wine-paired tasting dinners. Visitors praise the impeccable service provided by knowledgeable staff members such as Alexandra, Sol & Ana. The menu includes options for both meat-eaters and vegans, all of which are described as outstanding.
I am in Mendoza for vacations, I stop to this winery for a lunch today. Rodrigo and Daniel were my waitress, great service, very kind and friendly
The food is 10 * . So far one of the best places I visited in this trip. Lunch for 2 people with wine tasting, dessert and coffee $60. If you are thinking to visit Mendoza, Argentina 🇦🇷 you must stop at this place.

We had the best dinner at Casa Vigil, mostly thanks to Santi who walked us through a six course wine pairing. Some stand out dishes included the Cabaret Franc, the ribs main dish, and the blue cheese foccacia bread, paired with your choice of olive oil, which was amazing.

A must visit if you have the time. Beautiful property and excellent service. The food was great, particularly the veal ribs. And the wine was also excellent. A hit all around for us!

Casa Vigil (El Enemigo) surpassed all expectations, offering a Michelin-starred dining experience that perfectly complemented its esteemed winery setting. The three-course meal was a culinary journey, each dish showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and artistic presentation. The attentive service added a touch of luxury, enhancing the overall ambiance. Casa Vigil not only delivers world-class wines but also curates a gastronomic masterpiece that makes it a must-visit destination for discerning travelers.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Casa Vigil, and I couldn't wait to share my glowing review! From start to finish, Daniela, Pablo, and especially Guadalupe provided unparalleled customer service that truly exceeded all expectations.
First and foremost, Guadalupe's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for our entire visit. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our satisfaction made us feel like valued guests from the moment we stepped through the door.
Daniela and Pablo also deserve special recognition for their outstanding service. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their knowledge of the menu, coupled with their genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine, made our dining experience truly exceptional.
Not only was the customer service impeccable, but the food was also absolutely divine. Each dish was crafted with precision and care, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs at Casa Vigil.
Overall, I cannot recommend Casa Vigil highly enough. Whether you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience or simply seeking exceptional customer service, this is the place to be. Huge thanks to Daniela, Pablo, and especially Guadalupe for making our visit so memorable. We will most certainly be returning soon!

This place is a must go in Mendoza. For real! The food is out of this world. The service is amazing. They are very polite and work as a team. They have different option for menu. I tried 7 course menu which is pared with 6 different wine option (feel free to ask for more). They also have vegan options and let me tell you. They are as amazing as regular course. Price is on the upper side for Mendoza but worth every penny. Plus you get a tour at the winery before diner and get to know the beautiful history behind the Bodega El Enemigo. Reservation required ahead don't forget (super easy done online).

What can I say about this place the 7 course meal is out of this world the gastronomic experience you will have will bring all your palette to heaven along the 7 types of wine …. This was a once if a lifetime experience I love it❤️❤️❤️❤️I was here for my birthday

We’re not wine buffs, but this was a winery worth visiting. We got a nice tour of the grounds, including the interesting concept behind the name, and the curious artistic direction throughout the property. The food was great, and they even gave us a portion of ribs on the house to try, which was exceedingly generous. Wines were topped up if one’s stomach could fit it ;). It would be nice to sit in the garden in warm weather.

Amazing experience, totally worth the visit. We started with a fun but insightful tour. Then we moved to the 7 course menu. And it was lovely! Every dish was well thought through and nicely paired with a wine.

What an amazing experience you must try when visiting Mendoza. Beginning with a detailed tour of the property followed by an impeccable wine paired 7 course tasting dinner complimented by amazing service, the entire evening was fabulous. Alexandra, Sol & Ana gave us a remarkable experience from their service to the knowledge of the wine & the food. The portions were appropriately sized for 7 courses (with the exception of the braised ribs, which we didn’t mind at all having a large portion!!). All around 5 star experience which is why they are listed on the Michelin Guide.
Tracie Gari — Google review
What a spectacular place! Sitting below the olive trees on a wooden deck, having a seven course dinner with the wine tasting was an amazing experience. Definitely a recommend. Staff was great as well. Very attentive.
Marc Hesseling — Google review
My partner and I were really looking forward to having a great experience, it was good but not perfect.
We booked a 7 course menu and we were served a 10 course instead.
The reservation said that a tour was included in the price and I called before going to see if we needed to be there at a specific time (our dinner was at 21) and they said that we can just arrive at the reserved time. Unfortunately, no tour was given.
The food was very good, but because the restaurant has a Michelin star, we expected more.
The food relative to the expectations was unfortunately not always as hoped for and lacked taste. Some of the dished were extremely good, some others were ok.
We were served 9 glasses of wine. They were excellent, but couldn't finish them.
The service was very good (not giving 5 stars because of the tour).
We payed 262.000 pesos + tip.
Definetly not worth the price.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Food was at the edge of being a Michelin star (at the least for the 7 course menu). The wine pairing was excellent except for the sparkling wine with the dessert

We had a really great wine and lunch experience there. The food was amazing. All the staff were great, incredibly receptive and very knowledgeable about the menu, the wine and pairings. The atmosphere itself is also great. Initially we were seated outside, which was very beautiful. Because of the Zonda wind, we were moved to an inside hall, which was very cozy.

Bodega La Abeja is a historic winery established in 1883, offering guided tours and tastings. Visitors have praised the smaller, more private group tours that offer numerous complimentary wine tastings of about 5 or 6 different wines. The knowledgeable tour guides provide insights into the winemaking process, including grape harvesting and bottling. Guests appreciate the friendly and informative staff, with special mentions for guides like Sofi and Juan Pablo who enhance the experience with their expertise and humor.
We messaged on WhatsApp to schedule an appointment. The tour was enjoyable, and the wine tasting at the end was fantastic, with numerous samples. For $2000, it was an outstanding value, and we also received a full glass of house wine for only $200 while we waited for the tour to begin.

Nagaoka accepts criticism cheerfully, and uses criticism productively to develop own abilities and skills. When working to a firm but realistic deadline, Nagaoka always completes tasks to an adequate standard. Accuracy and neatness may suffer but the outcome is acceptable. Puts in some extra hours to meet the deadline. When dressed for the job, personal appearance and dress immediately impress. Distinctive, perhaps distinguished. Performs most jobs well and has the habit of checking work outcomes. Nagaoka is achieving excellence in some areas but in others is not yet achieving the highest standards.
A persuasive, engaging speaker when well-prepared, but uncomfortable and less effective when asked to speak off-the-cuff. Nagaoka enjoys working without supervision and usually continues to carry out duties effectively. Still needs to learn when it is appropriate to call for a supervisor’s advice or authority to act. Habitually asks questions in order to fully understand a position or a statement. Keeps asking until the facts are clear and the truth is understood. Can work in a team but often produces individual work at the end of a group activity. Not supportive or tolerant of others in the team.

(Translated by Google) We visited it with my family, good service at reception, we only did the short self-guided trails (of which there are two), very well marked and easy to navigate. Both the cafeteria and the bathrooms in that part were not open, which complicated their use since they were only available at the entrance to the park, which is 6km from the parking lot. It is a beautiful place and we wanted to take the guided tour to the traces of the past but there was a lot of wind and the guide told us that perhaps small children would not have a good time, so we took his advice. And that speaks well of them that they charge to make that journey.

Piedra Movediza was a 300-ton granite rock that fell from a hill in Tandil, Argentina in 1912. A replica of the rock was erected on the same spot in 2007 and has become a significant symbol of the city. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the city and exercise while exploring the park where the replica is located. Although small, it is worth visiting to see this historic landmark which remains an impressive feat of balance and weight despite being a fake copy.
Another remarkable place from Tandil. This one is more prepared and adapted to receive tourist of many kinds.. the path is full of stairs which make it safer for you and for them the base places at the top of the hill is made of wood and the distance between tables might be a little challenging for your dog however is not impossible to walk through it (Filippa my pet got an small bruise there) it does not take out the fact that is a nice place for outdoor walking
Highly recommended

Came in summer. Nice to do in the morning before is too hot since there is no shadow. Good view of the city. No need to pay to enter the park. Small can be seeing in 1 hour. The rock is a fake one and it looks fake, they should paint correctly. The original fell long time ago. And they should put the more protections to go down.

Climbing up a huge flight of stairs only to see a REPLICA of a teetering boulder? It lacks authenticity if it were for me (though the story behind why there's a replica of it sorta makes sense). Nevertheless, you get to take in Tandil in its entirety. And it does feels satisfactory!

El Calvario, a popular tourist spot in Tandil, is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and pristine natural surroundings. It serves as an alluring destination for Christians due to its impeccable depiction of the Via Crucis, featuring various stages portrayed through artistic sculptures. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks amidst the serene ambiance, finding solace and tranquility in this spiritually uplifting location.
Beautiful place specially to celebrate Easter. Since 1943 the Stages of the Cross are represented along the way from the bottom till the top, where a big cross awaits. The image is breathtaking needless to say one gets very emotional. Thousands of people matching towards the cross, praying, leaving messages and prayers. The view of the city from the top is worthy.
The cross is 22m tall allowing it to be spotted from almost every point of the city.

A wonderful and very provincial museum in a tiny town... Like the title for a novel! We can discuss for a long time why copies of Mercedes are needed here or that the quality of restoration and completeness of many exhibits is extremely questionable. All this is far from Europe. And this is good! Because here you have the opportunity to look at the design of the suspension with a flashlight, crawl your head into the cockpit, or see what kind of file the champion Ferraris were made with...
The exhibits are almost not separated from the visitors and this is very nice! But, children and random people will be bored. All the interactivity in the museum is from the mid-twentieth century...
