The best winery experience!
We have been to many tours before around the globe and enjoyed the many wineries out there, but what we experienced today was absolutely great! They are organized, having many tours throughout the day in small groups so you don't feel like you re rushing. Our guide (JC) was the best! Super informative, polite and patient!!! I recommend the wine and cheese tasting after the tour, the sommelier will give you awesome tips about food pairings. Totally worth the trip and the journey from downtown Santiago, which is about 1h from the winery.

I had a lovely afternoon here. I got there by public transport - metro, bus and a 20-min walk, which was a long but interesting trip. Arrived in time to sit in the courtyard drinking wine first. The English-speaking tour guides are excellent and the “traditional“ tour at $20,000 Isn’t ludicrously priced.

Founded in 1883, Viña Concha y Toro is Latin America’s leading producer and occupies an outstanding position among the world’s most important wine companies, currently exporting to 140 countries worldwide. Uniquely, it owns around 12,000 hectares of prime vineyards in Chile, Argentina and United States. Chile is the oldest wine producing country in the New World. Its multitude of origins, together with exceptional geographical and weather characteristics, enable Chilean grapes to develop in an optimal way, obtaining aromas and flavors that help us to achieve the highest quality in our wines.
The country’s valleys offer an almost infinite variety of topographies, which are determined mainly by their proximity to the Andes Mountains in the east, the Central Valley, or the Pacific Ocean in the west. Viña Concha y Toro has identified and developed wines that are distinctive of their origins in different Chilean valleys, and is always searching for new terroirs capable of faithfully expressing each grape variety.

It was an AMAZING experience. We got the Premium package and we had 3 different wine testing plus a glass as a gift. The guide was excellent, he knows everything about Concha y Toro history and grapes, fields, wine facts. We also had an audio visual experience of a famous legend about the "diablo" living in one of their spaces. Everything was fantastic and beautiful, the wine was exquisite, the people were nice, and the weather in November was perfect. This is a must to do in your trip in Chile.

Lovely vineyard, this was a nice experience.
-The facilities are very well kept, they have everything really organised for the tours, do if you want something structured, this is the one to come to (you should book the tour online, have a look at the times offered).
-I took the Marqués tour for 25.000 CLP, we had 7 types of wine, 3 standards and 4 premiums with their cheese pairings. This final part was the best, their sommelier advice is very thorough.
-Their staff was really kind and attentive.
I look forward to a next time and taking the premium tour, which is now only available in one time all day with current Covid-19 restrictions.

The Hacienda holds captivating historical significance.
Various tour options offer diverse experiences depending on the chosen package. The most popular ones allow you to see a portion of the garden, walk through the vineyard exhibit, and enjoy wine tasting. After the tour, visit the store for wines, souvenirs, and more.

Oh wow, the place is always crowded for what I noticed. The tour is ok but not over the top, I’m Chilean living abroad. And I know concha y toro is not the greatest wine but they do have the best advertisement of them all.
Me and my husband got sick after eating in the restaurant there... so I guess something was not really fresh.

Beautiful and well maintained property, with a lovely vineyard looking at the Andes. The tour is good, with a nice selection of wines and fun details regarding the history of the house. The upgrade for the aditional tasting is definetly worthed.

Buena experiencia

Good experience in general, the tours are quite continuous and with prices of approximately 20,000 Chilean pesos per person.
The tour is quite short and at times they bring you very rushed.
They give you 1 glass for free in the tasting area of 3 of their wines, at the end of the tour you enter the winery with a well-assembled show.
Good experience

going to largest winery in the chile inevitably felt more structured, almost like an amusement park, but our guide damian made the most of it and kept us all entertained. wine was amazing and the premium tour was worth it.
ate lunch at the restaurant afterwards and would highly recommended! service was pleasant and prompt and do od was amazing.
white fish of the day: perfectly flaky and loved the accompaniments. mussels fresh and sauce paired well. must try.

Tour guide was excellent. Beautiful and well maintained grounds. Good explanation of the wines and tour of the oak barrels. The premium package includes 2 wine tasting sessions. The second included a sit down of cheese, crackers and 4 wines. The first had 3 wines. Enjoy a relaxed tour bus drive after the tour.

Casino in a plush hotel with dance shows, concerts & bowling, as well as slots, blackjack & poker.
Huge Casino! Hotel real close. Bunch of restaurants with many options for really good food. Great A/C. Coffee places. Shops. Nice Wine Store. Great impeccable infract structure, with parking. This place is a great alternative to visit when leaving the noisy city of Santiago for a lil bit, or a weekend. Picture shows "Locos" a Chilean Sea Food I have not tried since last century! Fantastic.

If you are a tourist forget about this place. First of all they charge a cover fee wich is not bad, it is not that pricey. But if you are a foreigner, you have to have cash/chilean pesos to pay. No cash, no entrance becase the only way to pay with creditcard is if you are a local. For foreigner they only want cash. It is absurd!

Nestled in the picturesque Alto Jahuel foothills, Viña Santa Rita offers a sublime wine-tasting experience. The vineyard boasts a perfect blend of advanced technology and diverse terroirs, resulting in high-quality wines that leave a pure and delightful flavor on your palate. The expansive estate features well-maintained gardens and an intriguing history to explore.
Beautiful vineyard, went for a family picnic, great experience!

Beautiful vineyard maintained in perfect condition.
We had the “selection tour” with Victor. Victor gave us a good explanation about the wines and about the history of Vina Santa Rita. The story behind the “120” wines is very interesting.
During the tour the process of wine making until a sellable product was shown and also a video about the history.
At the vineyard there also a is free museum, cafe and a restaurant. If you plan to visit the vineyard be aware that you have to arrange good transportation.

First off, this place is huge! Various tours to choose from, they are a little confusing on the website knowing what’s included but check out the photo that breaks it down nicely. If it says it’s sold out on the website, I suggest calling, we got in day-of this way. After your tour, you can buy drinks from the wine shop and enjoy it on the grounds. There’s wifi throughout. The tour guide was friendly and easy to understand. You can get an Uber to and from, but be sure to put your pick up spot as the Museo. Although I bit touristy, definitely enjoyed our visit.
Angie h — Google review
WARNING - the wine tour is a bait and switch. It wasn’t actually a wine tour although they did try to serve wine at the end (but only served 2 wines not the 3 promised - and one of them was 120 - one of the cheapest wines in Chile). We weren’t explained how the wine was made. We didn’t even get to see the vineyard. Our guide Victor took us to a garden instead. The garden was beautiful, and the museum is great, but not what we came for. The tour guides have been asking management to update the website to explain what the tour is during COVID but they won’t do it. I’m guessing it’s because they want tourists to keep coming. Literally awful and by far the worst wine tour I have ever experienced.

It was my first winery experience. Very glad that we selected a place producing wine for almost 150 years. Good combination of authenticity and technology now, they are producing great amounts of wine every year. Large plantations, historical buildings, all their production system and beautiful gardens really worth to see. Just one thing didn’t meet my expectations, I was expecting to taste Casa Real Reserva Especial 2018 which was chosen among the 100 best cellar selection wines this year. Or at least any wine out of 3 bottles we tried could have been a little bit aged, for 4 or 5 years. 2 of the bottles were 2022, one was 2021 production. One more criticism: they should update transportation info on their website, there is no mb81 bus from las mercedes metro station. We waited more than 30 minutes and people around the metro station said that bus works only two times a day, very rare, not possible to find that bus in each 30min.

Beautiful grounds and an excellent wine tasting! YMMV as far as how interesting you find the story of the 120 patriots, but it was enjoyable to check out the kitschy display in the basement regardless of how historically accurate it is!

Amazingly beautiful setting at this vineyard, one of the largest in Chile. Our tour showed us the exquisite park and chapel built by the winery's founder, as well as their wine making process. The tasting at the end of the tour was also excellent, with a good selection of wines/snacks, and a nice gift of a cutting board and wine glass.

Stunning gardens and incredible history. The wine is top quality too. Had a cheese pairing and the only thing they could improved is be the quality of the cheeses as they had been sitting out for a while and lacked flavor.

There are souvenir's shops and there are an act with marines animals, all was ok and so good.

I was really impressed with the variety of animals, how the zoo was organized by regions of the world, and the quality of the habitats.
Rachelle McCracken — Google review
The zoo has areas that are really well managed, but then also has areas that are really not up to the level of the rest of the zoo. For example, the aquatic zone. It's too hot and it's too small for the amount of people it receives.

Byin Zoo is one of the best parks that you can visit! Staff super friendly! And the scenery and animals are awesome, amazingly well done. The animal's habitats are carefully maintained. The park it is clean and you will have multiple spots for beverage and get something to eat. Just save your time and money and avoid visiting Hakuna Matata restaurant, it is a waste of money, only good thing there is the air conditioning 😉 the park management must work to improve that restaurant, before was really good.

Good selection of animals: lions, jaguar, monkeys, rhinos, giraffes, snakes, birds, etc. Has a tarantula (arthropods) exhibit. Took 2 boys 6 and 12 and both enjoyed the visit. It is perfect for those looking to indulge in some retail therapy while staying in the city. Additionally, the hotel included in the complex is ideal for those looking for accommodation in the city center.
Great view of the entire city and the Andes at the top of the tallest building in South America! It was cheap and well done. A 5-star review for Costanera Center in Santiago, Chile:
The Costanera Center is an awe-inspiring architectural marvel that offers an unparalleled experience in Santiago. As the tallest building in the city at a towering 300 meters, it provides a bird's-eye view of the entire metropolis that is truly breathtaking. The panoramic vistas from this height are simply astonishing, offering a unique perspective on the urban landscape below.
Beyond its impressive height, the Costanera Center boasts a multitude of attractions within. The vast mall inside is a shopper's paradise, offering an extensive range of stores and boutiques to explore. From high-end fashion brands to local artisanal shops, there's something for everyone. Additionally, the presence of a super-sized supermarket is a convenient and welcome addition for visitors.
The combination of the stunning view, the diverse shopping options, and the convenience of having a supermarket right there makes the Costanera Center a must-visit destination in Santiago. It's not just a building; it's an experience that captures the essence of the city and offers a comprehensive glimpse into its vibrant culture and lifestyle.

This mall is located on the first 4 or 5 floors of the Costanera tower, which claims to be the tallest buildung in all of South America. The mall offers great shopping and was jam-packed with visitors. There was a long waiting line to the observation deck of the tower so we forewent it. Would like to visit the place again and spend more time there.

If you wish to see Santiago from above, this is the place to visit.
The views are stunning. The guide is excellent and well worth listening to. You will learn a lot from the guide about the tower and its build.
You are free to take photographs and this is also well worth the trip.
On the very top floor you are subject to the elements from above, but, still surrounded by glass.
This is sometimes closed for safety reasons if it is too wet.
You need not be concerned about earth quakes and tremors. The building is designed and built to withstand this to a very high level.
This is a top notch tourist spot and I highly recommend it.

I visited Sky Costanera viewpoint for the second time and I certainly enjoyed it. First time was on winter time and at evening to get the perfect sunset and night view. Now, summer time and morning hours. Each season has its own charm for sure! So anytime is perfect.
There are 2 levels from where you can get amazing 360° views of the city. Walk around or take a seat and just relax.
There is also a cafe/bar if you fancy a drink.
Prices are different during weekends.

You can hardly feel the lift going up, and yet it's so fast! The views are spectacular. Well worth the visit.

It's definitely a must-go attraction in Santiago. You get to know the city from above before actually going to the places of interest, and the guided tour tells some interesting facts about the region's history. Look for the weekdays when there is live music and wine tasting at the top floor. The guide mentioned it, but we visited the place on the wrong day :-(
Another tip: if the weather is good, go at the end of the afternoon to see the sunset (and you may also get a glimpse of the city lights at night).
The ticket could be a little less expensive, though.

Tallest building in South America with stunning city views that spreads out from the foothills of Andes. Sunsets are a popular time to visit. If you want less crowd go during the noon. Also, it’s cheaper to visit during the weekdays. The building has a cafe on the 61st floor where you can relax and enjoy a cup of your choice with the stunning views of the landscape.

Amazing views of the cityscape of Santiago. Walk through the mall on the lower level to get to the entrance (didn’t initially see any signs until inside the mall). Very small queue and possible to buy tickets there. The views were great and good to time for sunset. The restaurant food was average with good cocktails but fairly pricey.

The tallest man built structure in all of Latin America... What else needs to be said. This tower is massive and impressive. It's clean lines and simple design is stunning. The experience is equally clean, efficient, and well maintained. The shopping center at the base will give you an entire day of things to do and the tower itself is a peaceful and lofty experience.

Sky Costanera can be seen from miles and when you are on the top at the observation platform, you can see for miles. The views are fantastic, especially of the mountains. From here you can get a really good feel for the city and its sheer size. I love tall buildings and taking pictures from the top. This is one of the best ones so far as the scenery is so amazing.
If you are going to Santiago, this is one thing you should do. The area is also a really nice area to stay. The tower is linked to a shopping mall. We stayed in the Hilton DoubleTree in the tower’s shadow, so it was an easy walk for the mall and tower.
You can see 360 deg from the top and as its on a hill, the aspect is even more pronounced, giving amazing views. If there was one issue, they need to clean the windows a bit more often, as it was hard to find completely clean spots to take pictures.
Definitely worth a visit.

I was on the fence on visiting because I had gone to other spots around Santiago and thought I had seen some amazing views, however the views from Sky Costanera was something else. It was beautiful to see the city, surrounded by the Andes from such a height. I had to sit down for a while and take in the beauty of the city and scenery. Worth the money to visit!

Definitely recommend trying to go here. It’s located inside a mall. You go purchase the tickets on the lower level and then enter the elevators to access the top. You can walk around the enter top floor. There is another escalator that you can access an open sky space. It was a little cloudy the day we went and was warned that the visibility was low. We went up anyways because it was the only day we could go. There is a small bar restaurant at the top you can have a drink of coffee and hang out. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a view point of Santiago that is wonderful. Definitely a tourist place. Nice, just need to do it once. Takes about 30-45 minutes total time for this. About $20 USD per person. If you don’t make it…no worries.

Sky Costanera, also known as Gran Torre Santiago, is one of the tallest buildings around the world at a height of 984 feet and gives you a magnificent, panoramic view of Santiago.
The place has an elevator which takes you at the staggering height to see Santiago change its colors as the day progresses. The evening sights from here are the highlights when the whole city glitters with its vibrant lights and if you love places which take you away from the Earth, this place is an absolute must-see!

It was amazing view for us. We visited there week day late noon from before sunset to almost close hour.
We could see Santiago city and Andes mountain from higher place.
They had a bar where we could drink alcohol and snacks. We recommend to visit there before sunset and stay there until you can see night view.
You can but the ticket on the -1 floor at Costanera Center.

The observation deck was awesome. We spent two hours gazing across the panoramic views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. The Sky Bar cafe offers small bites, coffee, and adult beverages, and the staff is very nice. If you visit, make sure to go to the Open Sky level above the main observation deck so you can feel the breeze!

It is a cheesy thing to do, but heck, which touristy thing isn’t cheesy? It is the tallest building in Latin America, so just for that, it is worth it to visit and see the view. You can't bypass paying for admission by going up to the bar. We got our tickets and snagged a table by the window to enjoy the sunset.

The view is amazing. If you are in Santiago you must visit this place.
There are 2 levels, one is inside and one is with open roof and if you want to stop for some drinks and snacks and appreciate the view they have one small cafe

It is definitely a must for every foreigner going to Santiago. I recommend to purchase tickets in advance so that you don't get to do the half hour or more line to purchase them on site.
Also I recommend to go on the sunset hours, a very nice experience to see the city.

Very nice experience. It’s easy to get there by subway and it is conveniently located inside a shopping mall. Found it a bit expensive for the experience but the views are actually so cool. Seeing the city from above surrounded by the Andes is truly incredible. By sunset it gets very packed around the window but found the lower floor a bit less full when watching the sunset.
Other than that, I really enjoyed the experience and liked going up, however, if you’re on a budget/don’t have much time in the city, you can get pretty amazing views from going up cerro cristobal and walking around, especially if you take both the elevator and cable car. You’ll see the city from above and the Andes but paying way less.

It is the best 360 view of Santiago. Watching the sunset from there is a must-see.
Our visit was on a Thursday and there was live music and wine tasting.
There is a restaurant, photography service and bathrooms available.
The staff is very friendly.

Easy to access viewing platform in the city, inside a shopping mall. The loop platforms on level 61 and 62 have a very good view of the city. The lift is very quick from the basement but strangely the exit is only available on level 5.

I bought a ticket at 8pm ticket in advance but it was a bit confusing to find the entrance. Also it was confusing as there was only one line to the ticket office so even if you have the ticket you still had to line up. Anyway it wasn't busy and it was the perfect time to see the sunset. The bar on the top had a nice selection of cocktails and service was great.

This is at the top of the tallest building in South America, with 62 stories high and a absolutely phenomenall view point from several of the top floors- also binoculars are located around the floor offering views of the snow capped mountains to one side, and the valley on the other. Champagne 🍾 is provided free of charge- was on Friday night and there's plenty of people out who took the opportunity to view the sunset. There's a super fast elevator which takes approximately 1min to get to the top, your ears will pop along the way. Price of entry is 16000 pesos which is reasonable. There's a shopping centre located on the bottom 6 floors with plenty to keep you busy.Highly recommended for anyone who is in Santiago to visit, as it's close to shops and hotels.

Patio Bellavista is a lively and trendy shopping center in Santiago, Chile. It features unique shops and restaurants with patios and cocktail bars, making it a great place to explore on your first night in the city. The mall is located near popular nightlife spots, making it an ideal first stop while adjusting to cultural differences and the local language.
Really cool open food hall, with good restaurants and bars. Very touristic and attracts young crowds, but inviting to all ages. Worth the visit, specially in the evenings with the little lights on. Some people mentioned the neighborhood not being the safest, so it's nice to be attentive while getting there. I went by Uber, so I can't tell. There's a metro station nearby. Inside the place it was completely safe. Walked in the neighborhood the next day during the afternoon after visiting the Cerro San Cristobal park and it was fine.

Really cool open air (hence the name "Patio") collection of bars and restaurant, which would be unfair to call "food court" as each and every one has a distinct personality and they are not fast food chain restaurants. It is a bit pricier than fast food, but also much better quality and service, and the space is really nice. There are also stores, mostly of handicraft, also all independent. Well worth a visit and a stop for a drink, for lunch or for dinner.

It’s a great place to chill and hang out with friends. I saw both locals and tourists enjoying their day over lunch here.
I grabbed lunch here and enjoyed the seafood. I then went on to shop some Christmas gifts for family - all in one area.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it for a visit.

The museum La Chascona, home to Pablo Neruda’s third wife Matilde Urrutia, is a quirky attraction with vibrant colors and an architecture that mirrors the poet’s individual style. The garden features views over the streets of Santiago, making it a popular spot for visitors to get a glimpse into the Bohemian atmosphere and fashionable restaurants of Bellavista neighborhood.
A very nice house museum. If you are into peeking into amazing peoples houses or Neruda in general this is a must. An audio tour device is available and is included in the price. The house is densely packed with parts of Neruda’s past and life. Like most places it is closed on Mondays.

La Chascona is an interesting museum/ memoral to Naruda. On the one hand it's a look into the personal life of the man who was many things including a politician and a writer. On the other hand it's a testimony to how an ardent Communist can profess communal progress while living lavishly in one of three homes.

San Cristóbal Hill is a landmark hill in Santiago, Chile that offers amazing city views and is accessible on foot. The peak is also home to a statue of the Virgin Mary and gardens. There's a zoo nearby as well as other attractions.
This is a very beautiful park with fantastic views and it’s really easy to get to. Take the metro line 1 to Baquedano station then walk north about four blocks and you’re there. I took the bus round trip to almost the top (you have to hike the last bit) and then back down. It cost about 3 usd. I didn’t take the cable car because I was scared it would get stuck and I would be trapped but I’m sure the view from the cable cars are way better than from the road. The weird thing was that when I checked my Swatch after exiting the park, it was a couple hours behind. As if it had stopped the whole time I was on the hill. It’s never done that before.

I suggest riding one way with the cable car and the other way with the funicular. You get to experience both, see the views in a different way and their distance- puts you in different parts of the city. The funicular puts you near the Bella Vista neighborhood which has some great eateries and shopping. The experience to get the tickets was confusing, but once I got a hang of what to do- the process was easy. I recommend reserving ahead.

Santa Lucia Hill is a tall, triangular peak in central Santiago, Chile. The summit of the hill overlooks the city and has been used for strategic purposes since the 16th century. It's also home to a picturesque park with terraces, fountains, and a viewpoint.

Public park, safe with good views. We initially had problems finding the entrance, but a homeless man pointed us the right way, which to me says a lot about the area. Apparently this is where Valdivia founded/conquered Santiago five hundred years ago, and the park includes cannons, a fortress, and chapel among other sights.

Beautiful and serene park in the city well worth an hour’s leisure climb/hike. Amazing views at the top but do be very careful and tread carefully on the treacherously narrow steps; breathe-taking delightful corners to be found as you wonder about so it’s a very nice visit not to be missed.

Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral is a neoclassical cathedral in the city of Santiago, Chile. The building was originally constructed in the mid-1700s, but extensive restoration work was done in the 19th century after an earthquake destroyed part of it. Today, the cathedral is popular for religious services and tourists often visit for its stunning architecture.
Gorgeous building on the outside but truly spectacular on the inside. Definitely worth a visit regardless of religion.

Catedral Metropolitana de Santiago is one of the most iconic churches in all of Santiago, in one of the most famous city squares in all of the downtown! It was built several times over the years since 1748, and the cathedral that you see now was built in the early 1800s. It’s one of the biggest cathedrals in South America! It’s absolutely magnificent and very much worth the visit if you’re in the city - it’s free too so you can just walk inside, gaze at all the beautiful architecture and artwork, and then walk out! The square that it is located on has tons of other tourist attractions, shops, restaurants, and much more. It really is one of the best spots in Santiago. So check this place out next time you visit!

This is a free Cathedral to visit and it's a very pretty one. You'll likely find a couple of hundred people inside praying or sitting while enjoying the cooler air the church offers. The artwork and detailing inside is gorgeous. There are a couple of side chapels that are quieter and better for prayer if that's why you're visiting. Otherwise be respectful as this is a popular place to worship.

The La Moneda Palace is the seat of the president of Chile and is an important part of Chiles history. The building itself is neoclassical and immaculate, with its grounds also holding an important part of Chilean history. The palace holds a free tour every day, as well as exhibitions in the Cultural Centre beneath it.
This used to be the state treasury and is 'lightly' guarded with a dozen police or so around the perimeter. Nice park to rest and if you're lucky, they might have the changing of the guard whilst you're there

A simple but very striking building housing government of Chile. You likely won't get inside unless you reserve a tour online through their website. Untrustworthy, thieves & scam artists.
Just had taxi ride from hell to our hotel culminating in the driver switching 10000 notes for 1000 notes having put on a very bright blue interior light to disguise the colour of the notes.
Kept us in the car with the doors locked refusing to let us out. The taxi marshal at the Costanera centre was obviously in on the scam, as soon as he realised we were tourists we he directed us to a particular taxi not at the front of the rank. Looking back at the incident should have specified an agreed price and taken photos of the registration of the taxi and to identify the driver. A lesson leaned, never ever use the black & yellow taxis in Santiago, Chile. All are old, battered & have no air conditioning.
Paul Handley — Google review
Hoped to be able to tour the inside, but they had pretty tight security around the building and not allowing tourists to even go inside of the perimeter fence that was set up.
Took a few pictures from the memorial plaza/park area adjacent to the palace. This building functions as a government/state building and houses many offices and meeting rooms for high ranking government officials in the Chilean government.
A nice display and many flags and memorials to past leadership are also found on the ground and around the area. This is one of the key buildings you'll find on many of the Chilean souvenirs. It's a significant historical landmark.

………………..Must say this is not an impressive building like many of the “Capitalio’s” that we have encountered in our world travelling escapades. It looks more like a concrete fort two level high with only the centre been a level higher. There are armed sentries at the almost two storeys high double steel/wooden gates. Unlike many other Parliament building in the world here the public is not allowed entree. But we did discover later that if you booked a tour with a reputed or approved tour company then you would be able to go inside. A few statues of past president grace the surrounds and the lawns around the place is well kept and green. Two active fountains are in front of the building on either sides of the gate. A steel-mash barrier is placed in a front of the building and form a semi-circle from one end of the building to the other end this put the public at least 50 to 80 meters away from the entrance. Seven flag-poles fly the Chilean flags right here where the public can stand and observe the happenings around this important place! It was good to see and visit this place………………….

Fantastic vineyard and fantastic tours of the property. Learned so much about the wine making process and the local history on wine making.
The tour ended in a tasting of four different wines, all of which were excellent.
That we were able to keep our tasting glasses for souvenirs was nice added bonus.
Did the tour in English and the guide David was great. Very knowledgeable and great in explaining all and answering any questions.

Undurraga founders' tour was unique! We had a lovely time there with Leo; he was kind and patient with us and provided us with a remarkable experience, the best one near Santiago. I recommend it 100% ☺️🍷

We booked a viator tour and this vineyard was one of the stops . Very impressive property as it was a family estate originally then grew into the business it is today. Beautiful grounds, great wine tasting . If you are in Santiago for a few days a wine tour should be on your list, even if you're not a wine aficionado getting out to the countryside and seeing the property is worth it .

Visited in a tour experience. Walked over a
beautiful vineyard, explored endless grapevines landscapes and visited an fashioned underground wine cellars. Great place to visit, hosts are kind and friendly. Recommended as a weekend morning activity (even if you don't like wine).

Visited the winery on April 11, and we got to see the winemaking process! Was very cool to see the grapes being sorted and then squeezed gently before being dropped into the vats. Our tour guide, Leonardo, spoke fantastic English and was super informative and fun! The wines we sampled were one white, two reds, and a "late harvest" white, which is similar to Canadian Icewine.
The property is beautiful with tons of vines of all kinds of grapes. Our guide let us sample the grapes of different varieties along the way - it was awesome!
Note: Undurraga's wineshop is significantly cheaper than most botilleria's and other liquor stores in Santiago. Buy your wine here! They have TONS. And the Founder's Collection Carménère is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced (less than $30 CAD). One of the best wines I've had.

"Wow, I recently visited Viña Undurraga, and it was an incredible experience! As soon as I stepped foot on the winery grounds, I was captivated by the beautiful vineyards and the historic charm of the place. The staff was so welcoming and knowledgeable, making the wine tasting even more enjoyable. And let me tell you, the wine... it was absolutely fantastic! Each sip was a burst of flavors that danced on my palate. From their exquisite reds to their refreshing whites, every wine I tried was a true delight. I highly recommend a visit to Viña Undurraga if you're a wine lover like me. It's a must-visit winery in Chile!" 🍷🌿

This place is awesome! I had a pleasant time there. The winery tour is very detailed and you get to really see the place.

Did the wine tour. It's an impressive layout. The wines were very good. The Late Harvest dessert wine was the stand out for me. Disappointing a lady in our group slipped on the stairs in the cellar and hurt herself. The tour guide continued as if nothing happened. That's not right.

Beautiful scenery and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Our tour led by the sommelier Christian was entertaining and informative, with lots of background about Chile as well as the wine trade in particular.
Even though I was with a Spanish-speaking group he made sure I was keeping up with the commentary. The wine tasting and lunch were also very enjoyable. A great day out from Santiago.

I went on a wine tour at Veramonte vineyard in Chile this morning and had a fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Josefa, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. She expertly explained the history of the vineyard and interacted with everyone in the group, making sure we all had a great time.
One thing I would like to highlight is the fact that our group of 19 people from different nationalities was on a tight schedule, and there wasn't much time to deviate from the planned itinerary. Despite this, Josefa went out of her way to ensure that everyone received the same level of information, even a gentleman with mobility impairment who arrived late and couldn't walk at the same speed as the rest of us. Josefa walked back to provide him with the same information that everyone else had received beforehand, demonstrating her excellent humanity even though she had time pressure.
In addition to the great tour guide, the gentleman in the shop, Julio, was outstanding. He gave us a different red wine to taste when the one we tried wasn't to our liking. We ended up bringing home two bottles of the wine we tasted, which was a pleasant surprise.
The staff at Veramonte vineyard was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting everyone who passed by. This added to the overall enjoyable experience.
What’s magical about Veramonte is the fact that it’s committed to sustainability and has implemented a number of initiatives to reduce its environmental impact. The winery uses renewable energy sources, recycles its wastewater, and has implemented organic and biodynamic farming practices. 👏🏻
I highly recommend the wine tour at Veramonte vineyard in Chile. With excellent staff, quality wines, and beautiful scenery, it's a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

Beautiful place to visit, but it's more of a tourist trap. I visited here as a part of a Valparaiso tour from Touristik. I wasn't expecting much, but the wine was pretty bad. Maybe I was spoiled by Napa and Sonoma valley wine from back home, but the wine here was just bad. Tasting menu gives you a bunch of cheap wine. I don't think it's worth the cost. Their most expensive wine Ge was drinkable(paid extra), but not great. It's a beautiful place to visit, but it's more of a show than a real winery. No production is done on property.
Visit for a glass of Ge and take some pictures of the vineyard, free roaming roosters, and alpacas.
Skip the rest of the wine. It's just bad. You'll be drinking a bunch of cheap table wine.

The vineyard offers a peaceful and relaxing accommodation with generous breakfasts overlooking the beautiful vineyards. Visitors can enjoy an informative wine tour and sample incredible wines in a lovely setting. The newly opened restaurant Bianco on the grounds of the vineyard offers amazing food beautifully presented with pairings, providing an upmarket dining experience.
We were here in February (just now getting to reviews). We had a wonderful and informative tour with Teresa, their intern from Portugal. Then we stayed at one of the houses in the vineyard. It was very nice and quiet. There wasn't much of an ocean view and it was hidden by clouds most of the time, but there was an expansive view over the vineyards and hills. Because we live in Olmué we often have visitors (Chilean, other S American countries or USA) who want to "visit some wineries" in the Casablanca valley. We could go to the Big Box Store versions of wineries and move along with the hoard of tourists, spending lots of money to have a nice experience. Good wines are everywhere in Chile. But exceptional wines accompanied by educational and personalized tours with Karla Montt hostess and Andres Pinto sommelier, becomes an adventure of discovering a real gem. (Translated by Google) Is a gotcha!! DO NOT reserve. Unfortunately I did not check the comments beforehand, since we had stayed at the hotel years ago and it was a good experience.
However, this week when making the reservation they told us that the card was disabled and they asked you for a code to make the reservation through Google Play. Having this data, they cloned the card and made purchases in the fifth region. Furthermore, from what they point out, the hotel is no longer operating in this place. So don't book and report.

(Translated by Google) Hotel Quinta Vergara, terrible reservation service. I made a reservation on Saturday 02/10/2024 for 1 night's accommodation. They ask me for all my credit card information, since when booking online there is no debit payment option. They sent all the card details, via email they ask me to validate this, it is done and then they ask me to send them the 4-digit card code via email. What type of security does booking or paying without any authorized payment channel give you? And because I didn't send them the card code, they canceled my reservation. The most curious thing is that I had already made a reservation with my credit card on the same day 02/10/2024 about 2 hours before which they canceled due to not having rooms, but magically 45 minutes later I make another reservation now with my credit card husband and if there were rooms.
Quite doubtful, since everyone knows that card codes are NOT sent via mail, for that there are authorized payment channels, which this hotel does not deliver.
They don't answer phone numbers and the quickest way for them, because they were interested in the password, was to contact me via WhatsApp.

The Museum of Archaeology and History Francisco Fonck showcases local culture and history through exhibits on Moai, Mapuche silverwork, and anthropomorphic Moche ceramics. The museum is a teaser of the beautiful archaeological finds from Easter Island within.
They have a very good collection of Rapanui instrument, a Moai statue and indigenous pottery. Interesting place to spend a evening.

Small museum. There was a large group from a cruise so it was very crowded.
Can pay in Usd. Entrance fee is 4usd.
Nice pottery and artifacts exhibition.

Interesting collections on display of insects and animals of South America along with several rooms about the indigenous archeology and cultures of Chile and Easter Island.Of special interest the people of the Tierra del Fuego (cape Horn area).
There's also a beautiful Moai (picture), just at the entrance of the museum.

Another closed attraction in Chile. It is still very difficult to get into country and yet it is very dirty. I mean Chile tourism ministry needs to know that they are not top of the food chain. A lot of depend on this industry. You are making the poor, poorer.

This Museium is okay. It has many items that you may actually like. Its not a big museum and therefore contains a very few items worth looking. Yet they have lots of reading material for you. The price is super cheap and the staff its friendly. If ur into this kind of locations.. you may like it.

On a bus route, the small museum holds a lot of information; Indigenous settlement and tribal range in South America with archeologically sourced material, Rapanui origin and history with one of the few Moai heads off island, and a gorgeous display of bugs, like I had never seen before. Worth a look for geeks! 😉

The Flower Clock in the city of Vina del Mar is a beautiful tourist attraction built for the 1962 World Cup. It is a garden clock located at the foot of Castillo hill, decorated with flowers that cannot exceed ten cms and are replaced every three months. The original internal mechanism was made by Favag Factory in Switzerland, but it has been changed to GPS-controlled for easier adjustments if needed.
beautiful place is the iconic flower clock. I seen this clock on internet and let me tell you that in person it's gorgeous, the areas are well maintained. If you go to viña del Mar you have you take a picture for sure, it's free 😁😁.
If you want to take a photo with the recycled cartoon costumes that you personalize by hand, you can do it for $ 1000 Chilean pesos !!

We can see it everyday.
There are a lot of visitors.
We can meet a cosplayer there as well.
But if you take a his photo, of course you need to pay chips. When we visited there, we saw Jack Sparrow.

It's more fun to observe the touristes than to waste your time with looking at a stupid clock, the flowers are nice but that's pretty much everything positive to say. At least the time is correct... But the place is full of touristes, cars all over, if I we're you I wouldn't visit the place. Don't waste your time... If you like flowers go to a shop and buy some and if you need the time, look on your phone.

Renaca Beach is a beautiful, long stretch of sand that's perfect for swimming, sunbathing and surfing in the Valparaiso region of Chile. It's also a great place to party late into the night if you're looking for something to do after your day at the beach.
Reñaca is an area known for its beaches and balnearios located in the Valparaiso Region of Chile. Situated along the coastline, the city of Reñaca is near the city of Viña del Mar. The two are connected by a long coastal road named Avenida Borgoño. Reñaca serves as a residential area predominantly catering to the upper-middle class, and provides a coastal lifestyle with access to amenities and recreational activities. Reñaca is at the northernmost extreme of the city of Viña del Mar and has been incorporated by it. The beach of Cochoa and the town of Concón is located to the north along the coast road. The lower part of the hill overlooking the beach is covered with residential buildings up the hillside. The town also extends eastward up the valley through which the Estero de Reñaca flows, where the majority of the year-round population lives.

Really beautiful, but the water is too cold to swim
Annabelle — Google review
Nice beach. Needs a public bathroom, if you need the toilet you have to buy a ticket from the restaurant to use the toilet. No swimming because of the large waves, but that's not a big deal because the water is freezing away. The beach is clean and there are no sand bugs in the sand. Some stray dogs but are harmless. The beach is close to many restaurants in the town so it's easy to go get something to eat.

The only nudist beach in Chile.. Good beach, hard to access to but it makes it more private...
Weekends and summertime see crowds flocking to Caleta Horcon’s sandy beaches, which include the clothing-optional Playa Luna. Resident artists showcase their wares at a handicraft market close to the colorful Bridge of Desires. This picturesque fishing village also features cafes, empanada restaurants and hotels with beach views all lining Avenida Principal and nearby streets.
