(Translated by Google) One of the best beaches in Bahia! From the center of Cumuruxatiba to the beach, the road is dirt/sandy, but very quiet. Parking is on top of the cliff and is free. Breathtaking scenery, almost deserted beach, calm sea, warm water with various shades of blue. Depending on the tide, natural pools form. Beach without tent structure, take what you eat/drink and don't forget to take all the rubbish away.

Well-preserved beach with no food and drink stalls. It offers plenty of shade from the vegetation itself, so just bring chairs if you wish. Calm and warm sea. Extremely peaceful place! In short, a beautiful paradise! You can't miss this opportunity to get to know it when you pass through Cumuruxatiba. I highly recommend it!

The beach is made up of a beautiful structure, I can't give an opinion on the price of things, as I didn't consume them on site. It is possible to see where the Cahy River meets the sea, as I went in the afternoon the tide had risen and I didn't risk crossing the river, it seemed to be very deep. (Translated by Google) You thought of paradise. It's there in Caraíva. A coastal and riverside city. Meeting of the sea and the Caraíva River. The sea has almost no waves and warm waters, in the area very close to the river. The river also has nooks and sandbanks to relax without worrying. For those who know how to swim, you can cross the river safely. But there is a curious thing about this river, at low tide the current leads to the sea, but when the tide starts to rise the river is almost without current. As the tide rises, the current reverses and goes from sea to river. It was very funny. We went down and floated up the river. Of course you need to know how to swim as you will be taken to the middle of the river. But to get to paradise you have to struggle. Leaving Trancoso takes around 1 hour or so on a dirt road, full of bumps and potholes. Arriving in Nova Caraíva, you have to stop at the parking lot, 20.00 and take a boat to cross the river, which takes about 10 minutes, paying 5.00 per person on the way there and back. There is no vehicle circulation in the city, and it is all sand. Before arriving at the beach there are little markets where you can stock up on drinks which are very expensive at the stalls. As for food, we chose to stay at a Flamengo tent, with a sun lounger, and we ordered fish which was very good. A day of guaranteed fun in a paradisiacal place.

Você pensou no paraíso.

At the end of the trail there are canoeists who cross to the village of Caraíva charging 5 reais per person, but only in the morning and afternoon, as at night it is only possible to cross at the port. In addition to being a good option for those staying nearby, it is also the preferred option for those who want to save money by avoiding parking. However, it is possible that some horses or motorbikes may appear on the way, so it is worth paying a little attention...

(Translated by Google) An excellent option in the middle of nowhere. Satu beach is isolated and far from the center of Caraíva, which makes it very interesting for those who want peace and isolation. The walk was long (average 4km), but the structure offered here was worth it. Excellent food, drink and service. A gin and tonic with spices, including bits of cocoa that look like dark chocolate. We ordered a portion of VM shrimp, which looked like giant shrimp compared to what I was used to, accompanied by a delicious spicy pineapple puree. We also ordered a ceviche, which was sensational, very tasty. Of course, I didn't forget to try a dose of Neptune, a typical drink made here in Caraíva. There are tables on the deck and also beds on the sand strip.

One of the best beaches in Arraial. It offers many good options of restaurants and bars, and they let you free to choose, different from other beaches in Brazil where every restaurant yells at you to have a table in it. The water in December is not that warm and the sea, specially during low tide, has a lot of algae. During high tides, the sea has stronger waves, and becomes better for entrainment.

Tisha Homer — Google review
I went to eco park on Wednesday, October 12-2022.
For a tourist attraction that has been around this long should be more organized.
The entry to this park is a joke.
1st - they have two people checking people for contraband items. But they seem to not check people who they personally know. I watched people enter with cookies, chocolate bars , potato chips numerous items.
2nd - the lineup to pay for entry is also a joke. They don’t have enough lines or people working the lines.
3rd - they only accept specific identification for the discount. If your like me who has been here living and have all my utilities included in my rent. They will not give you a discount even though my cell bill has my Arraial D’Ajuda address and my ferry card also.
4th - the so called life guards working the wave pool are also a joke. When the live entertainment is on they forget about the people in the pool. I had to swim over to a young girl to help her as she went to the deep end. I turned around and seen all 5 life guards watching the live entertainment. If that child was mine I would file a lawsuit against the workers and also the park for negligence.
The other staff in the park were helpful and polite . 👍The food concessions were good . But again not enough of them based on days when there are holidays in this region.
The staff who come around and clean up the tables and areas were excellent 👍
I was told by a few staff that it is much better on days when there is no holiday in the region. So I will go one more time and see even though I have to pay R$120.00 to enter .
Unfortunately, based on this experience I would have to only give this park a 2 ⭐️.

Good place for kids, the place is not big, walking around is easy. A lot of food options. It was a Friday during July, the place was not crowded, lines were less then 10 minutes (except zip line with a 45min wait).
Andrea Yen — Google review
The facilities were good, but the money-grab was a deal breaker.
You cannot bring your own food it drinks. You have to purchase food there, but you can't use cash or card--you have to put credit on a card that they provide for a small fee. If you use cash to put credit on that card, you can get back what you don't use, but you won't get anything back if you put credit on their food card using your credit or debit card.
The food they sell is expensive and of poor to medium quality at best.
Kids will probably have a good time, because they're not the ones paying for the experience. Adults, on the other hand, will probably be disappointed in regard to the cost/ benefit ratio.

Passarela do Descobrimento, also known as the Alcohol Catwalk, is a vibrant seafront promenade in Porto Seguro. Lined with palm trees and pastel-colored colonial buildings, it offers a lively nightlife and shopping experience. Visitors can explore an array of shops, restaurants, bars, and carts selling alcoholic beverages. The area is perfect for indulging in local cuisine and purchasing unique souvenirs.
During the day it is easy to admire the colorful buildings. After 18:00 there are a lot of market stalls which can make it a bit crowded. Plenty of restaurants and shops available

The only thing there's to do in Porto Seguro at night. Lots of people walking, dining, drinking and strolling around looking at a 💯 stands of alcohol, chocolates, Bahian food and some live music. It continues to be very live until the bars near the sea.
Good few hours before calling it a night.

A nice walk you can make around the city. It’s in between the sea and the shops. Around the evening it’s full of people and sellers. You should be careful with your belongings too.

The Epic Discovery Memorial is a museum that features a life-size reproduction of a Portuguese ship and botanical gardens, along with exhibits on the history of Brazil. The ship replica is impressive, although more historical interpretation and explanation would be beneficial. Although there could be more historical objects showcased, it is nonetheless an interesting concept for a non-governmental group to undertake. Overall, visitors can expect to learn about Brazil's past while enjoying the unique experience of exploring this museum's grounds.
A little gem of a museum that everyone should discover for themselves.
The organisers had the wonderful idea to use children as guides. These give visitors a tour of the museum and a short history of the discovery of Brazil.
The entrance fee is 30 reais, which is worth it. Our guide, Carlos, was very intelligent and made the tour both interesting and funny.
Given the importance of this place in Brazil's history, would be great if there was more investment in this museum.
Sergiu Batrincea — Google review
What? About US$7.50 for a ticket whose museum has few interesting attractions? No, not again. That was the first and last time I'll be there.
The ship is interesting but they could have paid more attention to details.
The native Indian house on the way to the ship is amazing. How come so many indians could have shared a house like that? Well, maybe they used to sleep in hammocks on the top of one another or whatever.
Pay close attention to monkeys. They are interesting and show up whenever smell some food around arriving.
Other than that, the Brazilian State Government should have paid attention to tourists and better preserve what nature has given.

This farm was so cool! Worth a visit!! But the lecture on cocoa was a bit much at the end. We had a translator, but even still, it was really hard. The guy would not take breaks for her to translate. The waterfall is really beautiful and there are very few tourists because of the difficulty of the hike.
The only thing that I didn't know before I went on the hike is how dangerous it can be, there are a lot of portions where you could get seriously injured. I went with a guide during light rainfall and the rocks were incredibly slippery. If I were to do it again I would only go if there were absolutely no rain on that day. It's very easy to get lost and there is no reception on the path so I would definitely get a guide.

E todo o percurso exibe paisagens exuberantes , canyons, cachoeiras , etc. São o total de 18 km , ida e volta. E exige preparo físico. São escaladas , subidas e descidas. E equilíbrio sobre pedras.

(Translated by Google) Visiting this place takes us back to the golden times of the Capital of Cotton. For those who know and for those who want to know the history of Guanambi, you must definitely visit this place.
There are guides who know everything about this house (especially the elegant Professor Dete). If you are lucky enough to meet Dona Dedé's grandson there, take advantage! He is super attentive, cordial, patient and kind.
There is a cafe in the backyard of the house that is lush.
Don't forget to visit. Visiting time is relatively short, but if you want to explore the details of the house, it's well worth it!
Oh! Visiting is FREE, I forgot the main part.
And another thing, most of the city's people unfortunately NEVER went to this fabulous house!

Ah! A visitação é GRATUITA, me esqueci da parte principal.

(Translated by Google) A very pleasant experience! For those who don't know, Dona Deolinda (or Dona Dedé) was one of the pioneers of creation and development in the municipality of Guanambi-BA and faced a life of challenges in raising her children alone, as she became a widow early. I took a guided tour of the mansion where she lived, which was transformed into a museum and displays pieces used by Dona Dedé herself and her family, all very well preserved and restored. In the background there is a very nice cafe, which is next to the garden and offers a pleasant environment to enjoy coffees, pies, juices and it is even possible to have lunch or dinner there. At the end of the visit I received a notebook telling more about Dona Dedé's life, with photos and her more detailed trajectory. I was very welcomed and treated well, I really liked it.

(Translated by Google) The sanctuary is quite charming, the more you go into it, the more impressed you are, a divine and incredible work, I don't give it 5 stars because as a Christian I noticed that the space is not treated as a point of faith and holiness, but as a tourist space, I found it absurd that people enter the sanctuary wearing short clothes, walking around and talking loudly during the celebration of Holy Mass. I saw a great lack of respect and a lack of respect for a parish priest who establishes rules for entry into the space. I've visited other spaces like the Lapa sanctuary and there were strict rules to enter the place, I left feeling indignant about it all!

(Translated by Google) The most beautiful waterfall in Mambaí!
Tour that brings together a trail (medium), with a great diversity of landscapes, cave, waterfall and river with a place to swim (above/before the waterfall).
I recommend taking the tour with Agência Cerrado Aventura Mambaí, as they are experts in carrying out Rappelling (20 meter descent) and Pendulum activities, which are done at the waterfall itself!
The best time for the tour is in the morning, as the sun's rays on the waterfall make the environment ready for the perfect photo for the trip's photo frame!
