It's thrilled to visit this. This temple was built at the time of Pandavas. This will drown leaving flag at the time of High water tide and will be visible in low tide. If you are planning to visit check the tide data and plan your visit accordingly. It's 600m from shore line.

The temple is in the middle of the water. U have to wait till the water goes back. The locals can tell when there is low tide and high tide .
I recommend not wearing white it can be stained.
And wear sturdy footwear or you can walk barefoot.

Good place to spend time. The water level at shore is not deep but the water and sand/beach is not that clean. The way to temple is visible only for some time during low tide. In winter you can see many migratory birds.

A divine place connected with mythological stories, about an 40 mins drive from Bhavnagar.
Best experience is to sit on the beach and watch the water level going down / raising up..
What out for high / low tide timing (which keeps varying) before reaching their. We had to visit twice because we were unaware of proper time.
Bharath Nandan — Google review
In this place, there is actually a platform which submerges under water during high tide and it comes out during low tide.
Watch out the path used by water to recede into the ocean during the low tide. Follow that path to move quickly.
P.s. The water is filled with pots and clothes. So watch out and don't fall. It's pretty safe.

Om Namah Shivaya... Wonderful Temple... Thankfully water was back when I reached. I visited on 24/11/2024 at 11:00 AM, two days before full moon day. And within 30 mins water started coming front. It will take 10 to 15mins to reach the temple from the shore. Please check the low tide timings and plan accordingly.

Very nice beach. Must visit this beach if you are in Bhavnahar. The beach is clean and light food also available. You can have here Nariyel Paani(Coconut), Baraf Gola (Ice Gola), Makai (Sweet Corn) etc. If you want to go to the निस्खलांक Mahadev Temple which is in the sea, you should visit the place between 10 a.m to 5 pm. After, 6 pm water level is rise. Very beautiful place and safe for family. This place is better than Kuda beach and Hathab beach.

This place is known as “Naklang Mahadev” or “Nishkalank Mahadev”.
This place comes further on the road leading to Ghogha in Bhavnagar district after Koliyak village. Here is the sea coast and one of Mahadevji's abodes is located in the sea. According to the mythological stories and the stories heard from the local people, for the sin that fell on the Pandavas in the war that was going on in the path of religion, God gave them a black flag and said that when this flag turns white, believe that your sins are washed away. This was the place where their flag (Dhaja) was washed white and hence the Pandavas established the Shivlinga of Mahadevji at this place and since then this place is called “Nishkalnak Mahadev”. When the high tide comes in the sea, the water comes up to the sea shore and the temple of Mahadevji gets submerged in the water. Then only their white flag is visible. And then when the low tide comes, the sea water goes back far and this temple of Mahadev ji starts appearing and the public or devotees can go there on foot to have darshan. Which is probably more than a kilometer from the coast. There is a folklore here that on the day of Bhadravi Amas and Rishi Pancham, Gangaji actually flows from this temple and bathing here is very important on that day. Hence, if you are willing to visit such a place, then you must visit whenever you go to Bhavnagar. This place is located at a distance of approximately half n hour from Bhavnagar City. There is free parking at seashore and some local food stall – hawkers available to enjoy some snack n food.

Temple is located in Bhavnagar, and it was built by the great Pandavas during the end of the Dwaparayuga. Pandavas constructed this temple, in order to remove their sins caused due to killing of their relatives in the Kurukshetra war. Similar to that, if we visit this holy shrine, our sins also would be forgiven by Lord Shiva.
The shrine is located inside the sea and for a few hours, huge waves would be there in the sea, and in that time, pilgrims cannot visit this temple, and it can be visited only once the sea has become normal. In the top of the shrine a flat is fixed. By seeing that flag, we can easily identify the holy shrine. Amavasya (No Moon) and Pournami (Full Moon) days, are considered as most auspicious days to visit and worship this Shiva temple, and during those days, large number of devotees would visit this shrine.
Many scientists and researchers are getting astonished after seeing this holy temple, which is submerged inside the sea. This temple is very good in art and architecture, and still remains as a surprise to most of the people in the world.
The temple was built by the Pandavas after getting blessings from Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, and from the great ocean god, Lord Varuna Bhagavan.
Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of Shivalingam.
The temple is kept open on all the days, and devotees from all parts of India, and even foreign devotees are also coming here to worship the holy temple of Lord.
It is believed that those who suffers from prolonged diseases like cancer, nervous disorders, and brain tumours, are advised to visit this ancient and sacred temple, in order to get rid from their diseases.

Pandavas performed shiv Puja , through built lingam individualy , as advised by srikrishna , to come out from the kalank of killing their family members. But it is in the middle of water, we have to wait for water to decrease, it will happen certain days and time, we have to follow it.

Nice temple which is little into the ocean and is only accessible or easily accessible when there is low tide. There are 5 lord Shiv structures there which will be submerged in water when high tide. So based on full moon/new moon the visiting time varies. Great experience.

One the oldest and the most pious places of worship for Hindus. Nishkalnk Mahadev temple has five shivalingas which were founded by five Pandavas, after the great war of Mahabharata. By establishing these great Shivalingas Pandavas were able to washout the kalankas of killing of their cousins during the war. That's why the temple named Nishkalanka Mahadev. The temple usually remained submerged in sea during tide hours. One can have darshan during time of ebbs. This is really a great place having historical as well as Religious importance. The place is located near Koliyak village which is about 30km from Bhavnagar by road. A must visit place for Shiva devotees.

Pilgrims, not satisfied after having Dharshan of Main Somnath temple and old Somnath temple of Rani Ahalyabhai venture into the sea waves to offer prayers at Nishkaalank mahadev temple. Dirty surroundings, zero maintenance, free for all Pooja rituals. I feel the tour/ travel agents have hyped this place.

Shri Vishal Jain Museum
Museum
Specialty Museums
Museum, institution dedicated to preserving and interpreting the primary tangible evidence of humankind and the environment. In its preserving of this primary evidence, the museum differs markedly from the library, with which it has often been compared, for the items housed in a museum are mainly unique and constitute the raw material of study and research. In many cases they are removed in time, place, and circumstance from their original context, and they communicate directly to the viewer in a way not possible through other media. Museums have been founded for a variety of purposes: to serve as recreational facilities, scholarly venues, or educational resources; to contribute to the quality of life of the areas where they are situated; to attract tourism to a region; to promote civic pride or nationalistic endeavour; or even to transmit overtly ideological concepts. Given such a variety of purposes, museums reveal remarkable diversity in form, content, and even function. Yet, despite such diversity, they are bound by a common goal: the preservation and interpretation of some material aspect of society’s cultural consciousness.

I just had to see this place. I'm not a Jain, btw. The thought of climbing 3346 steps was a challenge of sorts. And something to brag about later ;-) . Managed to do it in about two and half hours. The climb up is really something. The temples on top are really beautiful - worth the effort. And the atmosphere ... you just have to experience it. No photography allowed on top. This is something worth doing. See attached pics of the climb up.

This temple is dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara, Adinatha, and is characterised by its stunning marble work, intricately carved pillars, and serene atmosphere that encourages introspection.
Known for its unique four-faced idol of Lord Adinatha, the temple is a remarkable site.
The exquisite detailing and craftsmanship displayed in the temple’s design are truly awe-inspiring, reflecting the devotion of its creators.

Situated in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Lord Adinatha, the first of Jain Tirthankaras, is said to have meditated on the shatrunjaya hills, where the palitana temples were later constructed.
Palitana is the world's only mountain that has more than 900 temples. Temples as well as whole mountain is considered the most sacred pilgrimage place by the jain community, being world's largest temple complex. From the foot of the hill to the top there are about 3,800 stone steps to facilitate climbing.
Not just the temples on the hill are sacred, but as per Jain scriptures entire hill is sacred right from top to bottom. The journey is arduous. For those unable or unaccustomed to the strain, sling chairs are available for bargain. Food mist neither be eaten nor carried on the way. The descent must begin before it is evening, for no soul can remain atop the sacred Mountain during the night.
Palitana is the first city in the world to be legally vegetarian. It has outlawed, or made illegal, the buying and selling of meat, fish and eggs and also related jobs or work, such as fishing and penning 'food animals'.
Must visit.

I am no one to describe or rate this place. Google has less stars to rate this place. Just sharing my experience and little insights:
Most recognised Teerth among all the Jains in the world. It is first of the only two vegetarians city in the world.
The temple hill has around 3500+ stairs to reach to the peak where Idol of First Jain Teerthankar Bhagwan Shri Aadinath is present in the main Temple along with so many Temples and idols.
You cannot remove your attention from the Aadinath dada Idol once you are there, you feel so light and might get so many goose bumps until you are in the vicinity of the main temple.
The place is very peaceful, millions of devotees visits every year, On the occasion of Akshay tritiya so many devotees come to break their year long fast (Varshi tapka parna) from all over the country.

There are two temples in Tulsishyam. One temple is on a hill (about 300 steps 🪜) whereas the another temple is on the ground overlooking the one on the hill. It's a pleasure watching the beautiful scenery surrounding the temple on the hill. A good feeling definitely...

A Peaceful Haven Amidst Nature
My visit to Tulsishyam Temple in Gujarat was truly enchanting. Nestled in the heart of Gir Forest, the temple offers a serene escape into nature. The traditional architecture and spiritual ambiance inside the temple were deeply moving. The nearby natural hot water spring added to the experience, providing a rejuvenating touch. The temple grounds are well-maintained, and the hospitality of the staff made my visit memorable. Tulsishyam Temple is a must-visit for anyone seeking spiritual tranquility and a connection with nature.

Nestled amidst the serene landscape of Gujarat, Tulsishyam Mandir is a hidden gem worth discovering. The journey to this sacred abode takes you through winding roads flanked by lush greenery, offering a picturesque drive that sets the tone for the spiritual experience ahead.
Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by the calming atmosphere and the soothing sounds of flowing streams. The temple complex itself exudes a sense of tranquility, with its architecture seamlessly blending into the natural surroundings.
Devotees and travelers alike will find solace in the peaceful ambiance, perfect for introspection and prayer. The temple's deity, Lord Krishna, is revered by many, and the spiritual energy here is palpable.
In addition to its religious significance, Tulsishyam Mandir also serves as a base for those looking to explore the nearby forest trails and hot springs. Nature enthusiasts will delight in the abundance of flora and fauna, making it a refreshing retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Overall, Tulsishyam Mandir offers a serene escape where one can connect with both divinity and nature. Whether you seek spiritual enlightenment or simply wish to immerse yourself in the beauty of Gujarat's countryside, this hidden sanctuary is not to be missed.

Tulsi Shyam Temple is a tourist center situated in Gir Forest that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple has beautiful hot water springs which are referred to as ‘Taptodak’ in the Puranas.
Free Food (prasadam) provide to pilgrims by temple authority, in monsoon it is nice place to visit
Legend says that Lord Shri Krishna killed the demon named Tul and hence the place is associated with his name along with the name of Krishna as Shyama and is hence called the Tulsi Shyam Temple. This temple is believed to be seven hundred years old. In order to reach here, you need to climb 100 steep steps to the top. The idol of Lord Tulsishyam is said to be 3000 years old. It is made of black stone. This is a historical and also a peaceful place located in a natural environment and in a small but dense forest.
There are three hot water springs at the location. The first is filled with hot water, in the second the water is hotter and the third spring has boiling hot water. The water is filled with natural sulphur. According to the Puranas, this region is referred to as 'Taptodak', where you can take a dip in the springs.
Interestingly there is also an Anti Gravity Hill, where vehicles seem to defy gravity and roll from down slope, up the slope. It is 400 meter north of Tulsi Shyam Temple.

Old fort visible from the Diu fort. Best during the morning and afternoon. These days you are not allowed to go inside. It was an old jail during Portuguese times in the middle of the sea. A nice view can be seen from the Diu fort. Avoid during peak summers as it can get quite hot and sunny. Winters and rainy season are calm and serene.

Gir National Park in Gujarat is a vast wildlife sanctuary and the last remaining habitat of the Asiatic lion. Visitors can embark on safaris through the park, where they may witness thrilling moments such as the king of the jungle hunting prey. December to April is considered the best time to visit. The nearby town of Sasangir is home to an interpretive zone, crocodile breeding farm, and Gir Information Center where visitors can learn more about this unique ecosystem and its inhabitants.
Amazing experience! A must visit.. To see the wild life in their own natural habitat is a treat!
Make sure you book for the early morning permit to maximize chances of seeing the big cats.
The guides are knowledgeable and the whole process of booking the gypsy safari is painless.

One of the popular national parks of India, was busy when we visited last week. Though our booking was done and the fees where nominal, the place was crowded with brokers milling around trying to make few extra bucks.
We got a brand new vehicle (Mahindra ?) with a good guide, but the challenge was language. Our guide could speak only in Hindi with us which most in my family couldn't follow. This experience could be improved with translation devices or recorded pods.
Our Safari was for three hours and we almost didn't see any Lion, but got lucky as we were exiting the forest. We saw a lion resting and ignored totally.
Good place, but visitor amenities can be improved significantly.

Amazing experience was a very smooth experience as everything was booked by our travel agent ! Safari was very professional and was very clean . There only one bathroom stop but I would not go was too dirty .again india is trying hard to keep everything clean but the population needs to be educated about cleanliness ! Everything was great I have no complaints but my one big question is why are lions so skinny don’t they get food on this open jungle anyone with answer please respond 🙏🏼😊. .Also I just praised this safari and o heard from people these are tamed lions 😥 also heard they do safari at night after the restricted time is over and bait the lions with bad food ? I hope whatever I heard is wrong and forest officials are involved in such crude things ! I generally don’t visit zoo or any such enclosed space to see animals but was excited to see this but now after hearing such things I am not sure how I feel about this place 🥲
Honestly want to take the star rating out after hearing this but hoping someone would respond to this and tell us if it’s true or not !

I did open jeep safari with my parents and it was the most thrilling experience of our life. Driver and guide (Jignesh) were great. They wanted to make sure we see lions and we did. We saw 2 lions, 2 lionesses and 2 cubs. Gir jungle is beautiful and house other animals like deer, wild boar, peacock etc. The authorities are very well taking care of the area. A must visit for anyone who wants to seek jungle adventure.

I really enjoyed the trip.
It was a bus safari.
Truly mesmerizing memories and enjoyed a lot.
One of the main attractions of Gir National Park is the Asiatic lions, which are found only in this region. These majestic creatures roam freely in the wild, giving visitors a rare opportunity to witness them in their natural habitat. Apart from lions, Gir forest is also home to a diverse range of wildlife, including leopards, hyenas, jackals, and deer. The birdlife in Gir is also impressive, with over 300 species of birds found in the forest.
The beauty of Gir forest lies not just in its wildlife, but also in its conservation efforts. The forest is a testament to the success of conservation initiatives, as the population of Asiatic lions has steadily increased over the years. The forest is meticulously managed by the forest department to ensure the protection of its flora and fauna, making it a well-preserved natural habitat.

We did 5 safaris in the Gir National Park and 1 at Devaliya Park. Planned well in advance to avoid surprises / shocks. The National Park is not divided into zones (unlike some other Parks) but has routes (1 to 13). Routes may have repetitive patches. My wife and I love the jungle experience and we were not disappointed at all.
We had 28 lion / lioness / cub sightings in total (in the 5 jungle safaris). These included multiple males / females and 6 cubs. We also sighted a leopard drinking water very close by. Sighted three different types of owls (Spotted, Brown Fish and Scops Owl) and 2 types of Eagles. Many other birds, spotted deer, sambar deer, neelgaay, etc.
Try taking different routes (just show your previous safari slip to the official and she / he would be kind enough to allot a new route). Expect some repetition in the route but enjoy the jungle feel! We tried all three slots - 6 to 9, 9 to 12 and 4 to 7 and had sightings in all three.
Fantastic guides and drivers. Heartening was to see the officials take care of the animals in the jungle.
We have also been to Kanha and Bandhavgarh - trust me - Gir will not disappoint. In fact, the experience was way beyond our expectations!

One of the most attractive places in Diu is the Ghoghla beach. Located in the north of Diu town with not many people, it catches the attention of the tourists who prefer to stay aloof and not with the crowd. With standard restaurants around the place along with water sports, this beach stands complete. Lesser tourists are the reason for a much cleaner Ghoghla beach compared to the other beaches in the town.
The Ghoghla beach is located on the outskirts of the city and hence not many people know about it. However, it's an opportunity missed for them to discover a splendid new place cut away from the cacophony of the town. Clean and safe it's a great spot for those who want to enjoy privacy and at the same time indulge in some water sports like parasailing, surfing and banana boat. The beach is well maintained and the best choice for a family holiday but sadly it's the least explored place.

In my opinion, this beach is cleaner than Nagao beach. Nagao has more crowds than Ghoghla, i personally don't like much of a crowd at the beach. Also you will see beautiful sunset from here.
If you are on this island for multiple days, you can visit both the beaches otherwise you can avoid nagao beach.

Best beach for swimming and bathing. There are no rocks and the bed is flat as far as possible. The water is clear and the beach is clean. Kids will enjoy it for sure. The fort, situated along the coast, is an important attraction in Diu. It is a place of historical importance, and showcases how the fort was used as an ammunition depot in the past. It doesn't require any entrance fee or tickets to visit the fort.
The fort has a light house on its top, and few weapons from historic period in its premises. St. Paul's Church and Museum are located near this fort.
It is nearer to the bus stand, and can be reached easily either by walk or by local means of transportation.
After reaching the highest point in the fort, you can see entire Diu city and the coastline.
However, do carry your eatables and water bottles while visiting this place. Since there are no eateries available inside the fort premises, and some food stalls can be found besides it's entry gate.

The main attraction of my visit to Diu was this ancient monumental building built by the Portuguese.
It still stands tall and gigantic, covering a vast expanse, proudly boasting of its great architecture, the immense planning, the smart work. It has stood the fury of the lashing sea and the sweeping winds against an mminent wear and tear for past so many years.
I loved how they did rain water harvesting, the secret dungeons were the soldiers and weapons were hidden. I wish I could see the secret passage out too.
According to the guide, the anti missile destructors were just meant to be fired on sea and not on land to avoid any human casualties. They were kept in waters to maintain the temperature.
The court room where the governor was seated and the justice box , the spiritual aspects involved in the architecture and design are all so amazing. The windows give us a view towards the roaring sea, lashing the walls and the surrounding areas. It has successfully overcome all the nature's wear and tear, still in impeccable shape.
The poultry farm were they used to rear rabbits and such are now under renovation.
As you enter the premises you can see the jails on the right side. The present garden was added recently, if i am not wrong.
All credit to the ASI who is helping preserve this historically significant place.
You can climb the ramp styled pathways to reach the top from where you will get yo see a grand view of the sea and the adjoining places.
At different locations canons sre kept. Some made from pure iron and some a combination of 5 metals.
Interestingly the name is just Diu fort. I hope it remains so.
Recently, Modi government has made changes to the laws and decided to allow changes while renovating. I hope it won't tamper the beauty of this magnificent structure, keeping politics out of monuments.
Till sometime back, it was the IAS officers who were in charge, now the government has taken over the reigns.
It was aan incredible experience.
We had to just pay rs 200 to the guide, which is much less as compared to his knowledge and patience.
An old church inside which was locked away from the visitors was so intriguing. This was built for their spiritual needs. It was interesting to know about the mortuary where the bodies were kept for 3 days and later buried according to their respective religious beliefs.
The swimming poo builtl for the queen is now a sort of a lawn area.

This is a huge fort located near the shore. The fort is so big that we got tired mid-way. Almost all the places/buildings inside the fort are empty . You can go inside them, climb on the fort wall or have a walk inside. I think this fort will be the perfect place for photo-shoot with all the cementy look.
When we went back in August, renovation was going on. There was no parking ticket or entry ticket. . The three major structures were the lighthouse , the Church and the entry to the shore. Canons were kept there. Its clean and green and a perfect place to spend your morning if its not too sunny.

A good place to relive history of late medieval ages in India when Diu was under Portuguese domination. The fort was built by Portuguese and it is not a massive or inconquerable fort like other forts of India.
It was a garrison fort in which they also constructed a prison in the middle of the sea. It served limited military purpose also .
The courtyard of the fort is beautiful and has a Latin touch of architecture. The court at various places in its premise offers a beautiful and expansive view of the Arabian sea.
A good place for photography with your loved ones . The fort gets closed at about 1800 hrs .

This fort is build by Portuguese in mediaval Century. Free of cost to visit.. best time to explore This fort during sunrise.. best place to click good picture in this place.. you may buy good quality of dry fruits outside the fort ..but check the measurement when you buy. The Diu fort is a landmark and a bustling tourist place in Diu. It was built by the Portuguese for their defence from invaders when they ruled Diu. The fort is surrounded on three sides by sea water. Several cannons can be seen within the premises. A large light house is also located at one end of the fort. It’s a beautiful landmark and requires plenty of walking to fully enjoy the place.

Must visit place, be prepared for some good amount of walking to visit Diu Fort.
Its really a huge place you can visit of Portugal time period. Its now renovated so looks clean and good.
There is few suggestions for you, don't keep to much luggage with you, 2 litr water bottle is enough.
There is no food you find inside the fort.
You must go to highest point of that fort is to light house which is mounted on top of the fort, its approx 80 to 90 feet taller and you can see whole fort from top.

A place of historical importance where Portugese rules for centuries. A well built and protected fort, showing how the area was protected from this fort by keeping watch on all sea routes. A better of artillery guns is still there. Large well built fort, with view points and watch towers.

The catholic church Saint Paul's Church is a beautiful and intricately carved example of baroque architecture from the 1600s. It is located in the town of Diu, one of the only three churches in this area still active with Mass being said daily. The church features an ornate facade and has been renovated several times over its history, most recently in 1807.
A beautiful Church in Diu ✨

The Architecture is Good. It's Garden is even more amazing. A tree near this Church was so beautiful.... Like there's a different aura of this place.
*
It seems to be well-maintained, unlike the Diu Museum, just nearby this Church.

Sadly, it was closed when we visited, so we couldn't not visit inside. Maybe next time but a must visit place, if you are in Diu.

My experience visiting Saint Paul's Church in Diu during Holi was absolutely delightful. Despite the festive chaos outside, the serene atmosphere inside the church offered a peaceful retreat. The stunning architecture and intricate details of the church added to its charm. It was fascinating to witness how the festival of colors blended with the solemnity of the church, creating a unique and memorable experience. I would highly recommend visiting Saint Paul's Church in Diu, especially during Holi, for a truly enriching cultural and spiritual experience.

St Paul’s Church near by Diu fort is a short visit from the fort. We were very tired by the time we reached church . But very impressed with the architecture and this 600 years old architecture marvels. Prayer house is very beautiful calm and peaceful. The wooden work inside the church is just magnificent and masterpiece of art work. Do not forget to check top of the dome which has symmetry work of art very nicely done. Inside of the church photo was not allowed but I took few from outside which were spectacular and eye catching.

Situated in Diu, a Union Territory of India, St. Paul’s Church is the largest and the only functioning church in Diu.
Renowned all over the world for its stunning Jesuit architecture by Indian craftsmen, the church boasts of rich wood carvings, a splendid facade, intriguing volutes and shell-like motifs.
On a visit to St Paul’s Church in Diu, you will be enthralled seeing the rich wood panelling which has earned this church a special place in church craftsmanship. Everything about this church is very magnificent the motifs formed of volutes and shells and Gothic features.

This church is falling apart and requires renovation ASAP. Saint Paul's Church is 400+ years old and must be preserved but it's not done well. The church was painted but not restored properly. I felt so bad to see the church in such a horrible condition.
Near the church no secure parking, only on road parking.

It is one of the oldest churches in Diu city, it is very beautiful. This was built by the Portugese. The church, built in the Baroque architectural style. The interior of the church is decorated with intricately carved woodwork that is considered one of the most elaborate in any Portuguese church in India.

A beautiful medieval church in Diu which deserves everyone's time and attention.
And most importantly of the Government authorities as it is crumbling and badly requires repairs. Hope someone pays attention.
The wooden carvings inside are a piece of joy and marvel.

This church was built in 1600s and looked majestic. There was lot of woodwork inside the church which was beautiful. The benches and the walls were in worn out state. Once a month, the mass in the church happens in Spanish, which I find very interesting.

Just One time visit.
When you go to the most famous church of the diu island and you find this old, not properly maintained one.
I mean i have visited many churches in my home town, so if i compare those with this one, this church is not that good. I don't know much about church and what to do in it but as a traveller, this church is not worth visiting the 2nd time fr.
There is no specific parking facility, just free street parking. People were going inside the church wearing shoes, that's prohibited but there was no one to take care of it.
There are so many attractions in diu rather than visiting this one. Even if you visit here, it's a maximum half an hour spot.
Attaching photos and videos for your reference.

I am so privileged and thankful to God for giving me an opportunity to see this all white church built by the Portuguese.
A testimony to God's love. ❤️
While I prayed there, I thought of all the saints who might have blessed this God.🙏
It is simply cool inside and so relaxing. This baroque architectural chirch has stood many trying times. I hope God will continue to protect this place of worship, enabling many to witness the creativity and smartness for generations to come.
The old statues of Mother Mary, the old traditional cross, the baptism fonts, the old wooden sculptures, the magnificent altar, all were so endearing to me. 😊⛪️
The wooden benches were all cordoned and non accessible.
Every day at 6pm and Sundays at 8am, Holy Mass is held.
Photography is not allowed inside. I found it difficult to capture the whole structure within my mobile lens. 😁
The statues of Jesus and the grotto are not accessible for the public.

Diu Museum is a grand, white-walled establishment that houses antique statues, wood carvings and sculptures. Due to limited space in Diu, the museum was constructed within a 1500s church. The collection includes numerous stone inscriptions from ancient rulers of Diu and various artefacts related to Christianity such as multi-coloured fountains, idols and archeological excavations.
This museum is temporary closed.
A famous tourist spot of the town, the Diu Museum has been set up in the St. Thomas Church. The church had been built in 1598 but was later converted into a museum. The building still bears the worn out and faded portraits and paintings left behind by the Portuguese. A beautiful garden path leads up to Diu Museum, with lovely fountains by its side. The evenings transform the place into a delightful sight with multicoloured lights attractively brightening up the edifice.

Old St. Thomas Church or Diu museum
Located :- Diu
Architectural style :- Gothic
Built :- 1598
Earlier it is a Church but now converted into museum. The Church which has antique statues, various stone inscriptions of the earlier rulers, very old collection of wooden carving of all famous catholic saints going back to the 16th Century. Once a year, on All Saints Day, it is used for Mass. But, It's very sad to see how poorly the church is maintained, it could be a place to learn much about the church and history of the island.

At a distance of 1.5 km from Diu Bus Station, Diu Museum is a prominent museum located in Diu. Situated near St. Paul's Church, it is one of the museums in the Union Territory of Diu - Daman and among the must-visit places in Diu town.
The museum was set up in the St. Thomas Church, hence it is called as St. Thomas Church Museum. The church was built in 1598 by an order of Bishop D. Aleixo Menezes and was the first Parish Church of Diu. Lies on an elevated platform within the Diu Fort, the church was built in the Gothic style of architecture. This edifice came under various functions like an Orphanage, Old Age Home, Police Station and prior to liberation, it housed the Angolan Battalion. Post-liberation, it was abandoned for many years. Later in 1992, the church was converted into a museum. After the conversion of the building to the museum, the church does not organize prayer services anymore, although an annual mass is held on All Saint's Day on 1st November.
St. Thomas Museum houses numerous stone inscriptions of ancient rulers, antique statues, multi-colored fountains, wood carvings and idols, shadow-clocks and various other vital artifacts, all of which give us a peek into the history of Diu and its past when it was colonized by the Portuguese. This museum also features 400 years old wooden and marble statues of St. Thomas and St. Benedict. It is an archaeological treasure house.

At a distance of 2 km from Diu Fort and 2 km from Diu Bus Station, Jalandhar Beach is a beautiful beach along the coast of Arabian Sea in Diu, India. It is one of the prevalent beaches in this Union Territory of India and among the best beaches to visit during your Diu Trip.
Jalandhar Beach is a small rocky beach near the South Pole Point in Diu. It is a haven of beauty, peace, and tranquility. The place gets its name from a mythological demon, Jalandhar who was killed by Krishna. The beach has a small memorial atop a hill along with a stone face structure of the demon Jalandhar. The beach also houses a temple dedicated to Goddess Chandrika.
Jalandhar Beach is less crowded and one of the untouched beaches of Diu. It is an ideal place for those who wish to spend their time lazing around on the soft sands while the inebriating sea breeze blows over them all through the day. The beach is safe for swimming as the water here is clear and remains calm without any undercurrents. The beach also offers exciting water sports. Visitors can also take a nap under the cool shadows of the breezy palm trees skirting the area.

Unlike other beaches in the area, this beach is less crowded and features sharp rocks that make it unsuitable for children or swimming. However, visitors can enjoy relaxing on the beach while listening to music or having brunch. Access to the beach is easy due to its proximity to INS Khukhri Memorial.

The INS Khukri Memorial is a tribute to the Indian Navy vessel that sank during the Indo-Pak conflict of 1971, caused by three torpedoes fired at it by a Pakistani submarine. Nagao is perhaps is one of the clean and beautiful beaches in India. Located just 8km from Diu, is a perfect location for swimming, adventure spots and relaxing. The multi-beach palm trees is an added attraction which gives a unique signature to the place.

The beach is neat and clean. It is surrounded by many small scale restaurants and the food preparation was delectable. Water sports are also available here. It’s better to plan a beach visit during early morning hours or before sunset. Parking facility is also available. Paid Washrooms are also easily accessible. Dozens of shops to buy beach wear and beach toys/balls for playtime.

Nagoa beach is a famous beach located in Diu. It is one of the famous attractions of Diu. This beach is located near Bucharwada village in the Diu district of the Union Territory of Daman and Diu, India.
Nagoa Beach is surrounded by clean environment and palm trees, which makes this beach look very beautiful and looks no less than any other famous foreign beach.
Dou to being a famous beach, a large number of tourists come here to visit. There is a proper arrangement of food and stay here, you will find many fast food stalls to eat on the beach itself.
This beach is also known as Mini Goa. It stretches for 2 km from one end to the other. The water here is very clear and blue. You can have a lot of fun in the water, swim and sunbathe here.

Very nice and clean beach. Good water sport activities. Like parasailing and speed boating. Like it very much. Food was ok. There are lot of photographers who always ready to click your moments. Bargain skills matter over here. You can enjoy here sunrise view with less crowd.

Mini Goa for resident of Gujarat, this place is a perfect hangout area for vacation. Although the pqlce lacks the charisma of Goa yet for people in and around the Gujarat can enjoy their vacation at Diu.
You can enjoy lot of water sports at comparitively lower price. Hotels are costly during season time. The beach needs more attention of local civic authorities if they intent to promote tourism in Diu.
Eateries at beach are costly but its OK considering short seasob for them to.earn their livelihood.
Overall I would recommend spending a day in Diu if not more and must visit Nagoa beach for sure.
Enjoy your trip at Diu and keep following for more updates...

This beach is called as best beach in Diu. I found that there are several water activities and even the beach water is clean.
But if you have already visited other beaches like in Goa and pondicherry, then you will not find this that much good. No night parties, no much crowded (this is even a good part of this beach).

The Dinosaur Park is a stunning location to spend a memorable family vacation. Positioned close to the beach, this park offers endless entertainment for children and adults alike. However, it would be even more captivating if it featured an abundance of dinosaur sculptures. The park grants visitors a mesmerizing view of the sea and also boasts a small temple on its grounds. Though expansive, caution must be exercised when approaching the rocky shoreline as it poses potential danger.
Beautiful beach and Wonderful place to visit with family. Well-constructed and well maintained. Peaceful environment. It's a good place for kids to play while you can enjoy the beautiful view of sea. There is also small temple here. Spacious place, but you can not go in to the sea .

Diu town itself is very beautiful but existence of Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple makes it even more special. The Shivaling of Lord Shiva in temple is placed in such a manner that the Sea Water touches their legs every other minute. The Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple is very ancient and more than 5000 Year old and it is believed, the 5 Linga's of Lord Shiva was established by the Pandava's during their hideout year.
There are few stairs just going into the sea directly within a narrow band of hardly 2-meter width and here lie the five Shivlingas of different sizes are created next to each other. All these are washed by the sea every minute and you have to touch the feet of God when the waves are returning. Real feel that Sea comes to take blessings of God all the time. There was no Priest and whatever you offer to God is washed away by the sea within seconds. Amazing religious place as well as for the scenic beauty.
The temple campus is nice and quiet, travelers can spend some time to sitting there and watching the sea. Several benches are provided here by the administration as part of development of the sea face.
Its a must go place and is not far from Nagoa beach.

This place is far from imagination, where the sea waves baths the five shivlings together. The Shivlings are located as if under a half open cave and the visible for less than a minute to some times a couple of minutes between the frequent sea waves.

It is the biggest beach in Diu. It is the last place to visit if you are travelling in Diu. This beach is nice for chilling out. These beach has some of the water sports like para sailing, banana ride and jet ski. I am not sure about the rates of it because the crowd was huge and the resources of water sports were limited. Public awareness is much needed and local authorities should focus on cleanliness of the beach. I found Ghoghla beach far more better than this one. Overall, worth visiting this place.

Nice experience. Did not get any changing room. In the parking lot one washroom was functional, but no privacy was there, as all were taking shower at once and no curtain was there. Local administration should arrange for clean changing rooms on chargeable basis. Tourists, visiting the beach should take their own towels and be prepared for changing their cloth at a safe place.

This place has car parking facilities and the Boli char is very beautiful. Seeing the blue waters of the Arabian Sea in front makes the mind happy. But the water ahead is a bit murky and there are many sharp rocks so be careful. Legs may be injured. And along the shelf is the liquor store bar and the price of alcohol is cheap. There are speed borts and other fun rides here

I had the privilege of visiting Nagoa Beach in Diu, and it was an exceptional and unforgettable experience. This place is arguably the most beautiful beach in Gujarat, and it offers a wide range of water sports activities like parasailing, jet skiing, speed boating, dirt biking, and more.
It's worth noting that Nagoa Beach may be closed from June 1st to August 31st, so it's important to plan your visit accordingly.
During my time at Nagoa Beach, I was captivated by its natural beauty and the thrilling water sports opportunities it provided. It's not just a beach; it's a place where you can create wonderful memories and immerse yourself in the serene yet adventurous atmosphere.

Among the 5 sea shores, Nagoa is the most gorgeous and more well known. It is situated in Nagoa villa of Town Bucharwada and is 8 kms from Diu. Nagoa an ideal semi circle ocean side where the delicate lapping waves entice you to swim into them for a thrilling season of swimming, romping or simply lolling around the delicate sandy shores or find you snoozing under the intriguing palm trees loaded up with the mitigating breeze. This ocean side can measure up to the best of the sea shores of Goa.
Well known for its flawless excellence and influencing palm trees, Nagoa Ocean side in Diu is an ideal and a suggested place for travelers everywhere. The spot is very much associated with the hotels, thus it making it simple for the voyagers to unwind and investigate its magnificence simultaneously. The ocean side is encircled by gorgeous palm trees influencing in the cool wind which establishes a fascinating climate for the voyagers to laze around.
This horseshoe-molded ocean side is renowned for its cruising, drifting as well as water skiing. Its blue water is great for swimming. The audacious, as well as the non-gutsy travelers, are probably going to live it up here as the people who could do without water sports can laze around the entire day on the ocean front in the midst of the cool wind and regular excellence of the spot.

A beautiful spot along the Diu Coast. Nagoa Beach is a great spot to relax for an hour, the day... or even spend the night. There's much to do in addition to swimming the in the water. Be aware! You'll need lots of change to use the bathroom or change clothes... as both are separate and the "gate keepers" are not friendly!

The beach is truly clean and well maintained on my last visit. I didn't expect that I'd get the experience like goa. You can't straight away compare it,yet it's worth visiting with enough parking space, stalls, shacks. You also have dressing room, washroom facilities by paying a few bucks. Water sports activities are also there with a large variety as per your taste. Atmosphere is cool during February and one can also visit the sunset point at walking distance.

Very Beautiful beach. This have a stunning Sunrise view, mesmerizing water sports at very expensive prices compare to Goa or Dwarka beach.
Only drawback is this beach has illigal parking colection at the start of beach road and paid toilet that are not upto the mark.
Due to that bad experience I never return to diu and never advise anyone to go there

This one is a more isolated but very beautiful beach in Diu. The water is cleaner but slightly fiercer here than other Diu beaches. One problem: we went back n forth 2-3 kilometres many times but could not find its entrance. Finally had to leave the car anywhere on the roadside & jump the 2-3 feet fence & just enter from anywhere.

It is an excellent beach at the western end of Diu island.
Access to the shore is through an arch near the Gomatimata temple.
A broad strip of soft white sand stretches over a considerable distance, and it is fun walking over that.
Seagulls swarm the stretch. The birds throng to catch fishes jumping out of the dazzling water.
Observing the action is amusing.
The flock is not afraid of visitors. One can go close to the pack and capture their efforts.

Avoid it if your are driving a car and a tourist. Vanakbara beach before Hindu cremation place might be beautiful but there isn't a spot for parking your car on the entire road. Both sides of the road is paved and have blockers which prevents parking your car, big disappointment. Hence visited the Vanakbara beach at the Gomati mata temple which was ok but not that clean as expected. It seems to be mostly visited by locals and less of tourists. Can see many fishing boats there and beautiful sunset, nice place indeed for photographers.
