We have visited this place last week but got pathetic breakfast, some what burn and non hygiene. Lunch was actually worst than breakfast. You have to procure water every single time. In summer this is extreme torture. Pools are dirty, Spirogyra was spreading every where. They charging 1200 rupees to everyone but giving zero service. Pools should be improve urgently, Amusement park was good. If we spending money for service we should get it in reply. Owner can listen and reply to my query.

This is a good place to visit one time with friends and family. The water park starts at 10 A.M. the parking ticket cost 50rs and the park ticket price is 700rs per head. Which includes breakfast and lunch as well. You'll have to submit one mobile phone at the check-in counter to get entry. Once entered you can rent a locker which can cost 250rs for a large one and 150rs for a small one. You can also rent a swimming costume in case you forget yours at home. The wave pool starts at around 3 followed by lunch (unlimited food). Once you are done with the water park you can head towards the amusement park which has a few cool options to hop on (no extra charges) and the park closes at around 6 pm.
Even tho i didn't stay there till 6 as i had other plans for the day. But we really enjoyed the water slides and wave pool.

Having a huge 2-4 wheeler parking..
Big slides, wave pool, lavish green area threre…
Amusement park also there to enjoy rides etc.
need to improvements in breakfast , lunch menu . Teste are not up to mark expect dinner ( due to less visitors )
We have plan for 2 days take 3 room to stay there.. but communication on call is differ from actual.. @ time of call they are agree to give extra metress but ones u reach the place they take U turn from there commitment…also facing the toilet sink chocking issue…
Overall is good after improving food & tea quality & teste…
Best to carry your own synthetic costumes for swimming & water activities to save extra cost for swimming costumes.
Having a small pools for kids which is nice…
Also need to improvements in wave pool … the waves is very slow…doesn’t like actual waves…
Some rides & boat pool is found out of service…

I visit here on 29 mar 2022. Tickets rate is 1199 for male adult, it's worst ever water park visited. Only two water coster are available and remaning are closed. Water quality is very bad water turned green, no traces of chlorination in water. No greenary at all only plastic grass. By rule there must be provision of drinking water at public gathering places but not a single water tap available. Looting people with least price of 100 for just short. Only one pool of 5 feet deep is the one you can use that's it all. Food included in 1199 but quality is just above bad.
Ravi Khandare — Google review
The place is fabulous in terms of slides, spaces, amusement park activities and the pools. However The costs of tickets do not justify the facilities they provide, especially the food is very poor in taste and quality is below par. Also, the timing for the wave pools is very short. They need to improve their food quality and other stuff.

#mini theme park
#enjoyable for childrens and families
#ticket price - Rs. 999 (for male), Rs. 899 (for female), Rs. 699 (for children)
#rented dresses and locker rooms available
#few food items like thalli (Rs. 150), noodles and water bottle (Rs.10) available inside
#parking fee for bike Rs.30 (no time limit)
👎
#all slides and rides are not currently working
#entry price is higher and not worthy
#as usual chlorine is more in water and some water are old and stagnant
#maintenance is little poor and not neat
#no discounts for students as provided in other theme parks
#synthetic dresses are not a must

The best water park around Nagpur. Don’t get fooled by Dwarka or any low budget park where they call school picnics but shut off the pools. Even though the price is a bit expensive, you’ll love the time you spend here. The giant blue waters, long enthralling slides, delightful amusement parks and rides all makes this place the best water park around Nagpur.

Beautiful place for fun and enjoy the all day it's crazy when u have family and friends not only water park but also amusement park is very best.
shaikh rehan — Google review
It was a very bad experience, they were charging for everything ( like water park + food + amusement park ).
The food is very very poor it is not worth even 50 rupees.
No proper ride , they have weight limit on many ride .
They opened the amusement park only after 4pm when the water park is closed. You can't go to the amusement park if you have to come back to Nagpur by public transport.
I highly recommend not to come for this .

Food is not good. It's below normal. Water not clean at all. Unhygienic place. Only for kids below 16 ... Adults would just waste money. Short pools.. kids would enjoy.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fun & Food Village, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations as a perfect destination for a day of fun, frolic, and delicious food. This waterpark is truly a paradise for families and friends seeking an enjoyable escape from the summer heat.
As soon as I entered Fun & Food Village, I was captivated by the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The park's well-maintained grounds, lush greenery, and colorful decorations created a cheerful ambiance that immediately put me in a joyful mood. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which further added to the positive experience.
The water attractions at Fun & Food Village were simply fantastic. The park boasted an impressive array of slides, rides, and pools suitable for visitors of all ages. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie craving thrilling water slides or someone who prefers a more relaxed experience in the wave pool, there was something for everyone. The variety of rides ensured that no one in my group ever felt bored or unengaged.
One of the highlights of Fun & Food Village was its emphasis on safety. I noticed that the park maintained strict safety standards and ensured that all rides were well-maintained and regularly inspected. The lifeguards were attentive, vigilant, and always ready to jump into action if needed, which provided a sense of security for everyone, especially parents with young children.
Another aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness of the park. Despite being a popular attraction, the management made sure that the premises were spotless. The restrooms were regularly cleaned, and there were plenty of bins strategically placed around the park to maintain cleanliness. This attention to detail enhanced the overall experience and made the visit all the more enjoyable.
sahil — Google review
The place is amazing. Entry fee is 900 per head and 1200 for combo of water world and fun world. Locker and costumes are free and well maintained. We can deposit our valuable items separately. It's a good place for family and friends. The slides are amazing. I'd highly recommend it.
Nitin Sen — Google review
The park is a popular destination for families and groups looking to spend a fun-filled day out.
The park offers a range of thrilling rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. Some of the popular rides include a roller coaster, a giant wheel, a bumper car ride, and a 360-degree swing ride. There is also a range of water slides and pools for visitors to cool off on hot days.
Apart from the rides and attractions, the park also has several food stalls and restaurants serving a range of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, and fast food.
One 🌟 minus for food quality. The food they serve are not good. Though they charge for food but quality of food is even less than local Mess.

Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve
National park
Nature & Parks
Long-established national park known for its dense woodlands, diverse flora & Bengal tiger reserve.
Tadoba is one of my favorite Tiger Reserve park 🐅
Only one feedback I have is the forest department shall allow carrying mobile phones during Safari. All other National parks across India phones are allowed, not sure why it's not permitted here.
My personal request to change guidelines and allow us to carry phones in Safari.
Thanks

It’s really very nice experience , chances of getting tigers are really high . Our Guide was really good , we followed his instructions and we got the very good sight of tiger.. Tigress Maya with her two cubs , Tigress chotti Madhu… , Cubs of tigress W .
Better you carry some food stuff like fruits and chips chikki type things and water if you have kids with you…bcoz a single safari is of 4 hrs and kids really get hungry…
Carry warm clothes apart from scarf , sunglasses , binoculars etc for morning safari in winter (January and February both months )

Tadoba the place is well known for its tiger reserve. It is home to more than 115 tigers, 151 leopards and more than 300 species of other wildlife. I went with my friends and booked 2 rooms in resort. The staying cost was around 2200 per person just for 1 night inclusive of lunch, snacks, dinner and next day breakfast. We booked buffer safari costing around 5000 and core safari cost more than 9000 depends upon the season and the availability as the waiting time for core safari was more than 2 months. We were lucky enough to saw the tiger. The tiger name is choti Madhu and she is the most beautiful tiger in tadoba as told by safari ranger.

What a beautiful place. This is absolute thrilling experience. It's a dense forest area. Full of Deers, sambars, Peacocks, and offcourse King tiger 🐅. We went for early morning safari in core zone.
Total safari costed us Rs7250. This includes Private Gypsy for 4 hours with capacity of 6 tourist, Driver and Guide charges. Also camera charges. One of the things you should remember that MOBILE PHONES are strictly NOT ALLOWED inside Jungle area. So one compulsory needs to carry Camera for photography.
We explored Jungle. It was very scenic and full of wild creatures. There were many water bodies inside Jungle with crocodiles 🐊.
Finally after long exploration we got our reward. Our guide got information that there is a Tiger spotting in nearby Lake.
So we hurried there. But when we went there tigress was sleeping inside bush. So we along with many other Tourist waited for almost 45 minutes at same spot. Finally the moment came and Tigress gracefully walked out of bush and came out in open water. In few minutes her 8 month old CUBS also came out in playfull mood. That was some experience.
After almost 45 minutes we started our exit journey.
I must say I'll definitely keep coming back to this wild paradise. There are many hotel options around. Also it is recommended to book safari atleast 4 month before your visit.

If you love exploring and experiencing wildlife, this place has to make it to the top of your bucket list. I took four safaris out of which we had a sighting on three of them. While the tiger is the usp, there are many many more animals and birds that you will get to see here. The climate is very very hot and if you really want to enjoy and make the best of your time, it is advisable to wear covered cotton clothing at all times, tied hair and head covered and carrying water bottles is a must

A dense forest reserve located near the chandrapur mines.
You can take your vehicle(4 wheelers only) inside but you are not allowed to step outside your vehicle when you are inside forest parameter and you also can't stop your vehicle anywhere on the road.
Best time is to visit in the evening when animals step outside for a walk.

We got lucky to see 3 tigers in a single morning safari ride. Awesome experience. Few notes for visitors
1. Resorts are expensive
2.Mobiles are not allowed inside the park, so don't forget to bring a DSLR camera or you can rent at the park.

Good experience. Safari is managed well and need to be booked well in advance from official website. Road till core moharli gate is in good condition. Souvenir shops are available where we can get different product including camera on rent.
Mobile phones are not allowed inside.
Best time to visit for sighting is summer.
Ample of stay options available but felt little costly.
Tiger sighting depends on luck but i got to see tigress maya bathing and killing smabar while we were just about to leave

One of the best national parks to spot tigers, we spotted 2 tigers Charger and Heena through the Shreekheda gate. It was mating season and 4 tigers were we easy to spot in that zone.
The charger tiger actually charges towards the gipsys.
Tadoba national park doesn’t allow mobile phones for some reason. Cameras are allowed and even can be rented at the gate.
Prebook the safaris earlier as they get sold out soon.

Hilltop temple devoted to the goddess Renuka with a bright shrine, a pond & views of Mahur Fort.
There are three mountains in Mahur. The first one is having Renuka Mahar devi mata Temple, who is mother of the god Parshuram. Other two are called Datta Shikhar and Atri Anasuya Shikar Temples. Datta Shikhar is highest of all. Mahur has a sacred temple to Renuka Mata, which is considered one of the three and half Shakti Peethas (temples) in the state. A big fair is held here every year on the occasion of Vijayadashami.

I am so overwhelmed by this temple!! When I saw the murthy I was astonished. There were instant chills... felt like she herself wanted to meet me!!!! The murthy had so much energy that while doing arti I got same vibes which I felt in Ujjain's Mahakal temple... For the first time I felt I am in a temple where everything is spiritual, after that we went to visit Shri Parshurama"s temple. even that was beautiful..I went on Sunday, a little crowded but had darshan in less than 10 minutes... The staff was so polite and helpful. The entire place is surrounded by mountains, there is ample of parking space, just be aware of monkeys. Try to visit the temple before 10 am to avoid the crowd

Embarking on a journey from Adilabad to Mahurgad promises a day filled with spiritual exploration. The 87 km bus ride, starting at 5 am, sets the tone for an early morning pilgrimage. Upon reaching Mahurgad, the three hills await, each housing significant temples - Anasuya Mata, Renuka Mata, and Datta Mandir.
Navigating the ascent to the hilltop via auto, with an approximate charge of 300, adds a touch of adventure to the pilgrimage. The panoramic views en route contribute to the overall experience.
Once at the summit, the divine presence at Anasuya Mata, Renuka Mata, and Datta Mandir creates a sacred atmosphere, allowing for reflection and worship. The spiritual journey culminates with a visit to the Eka Vira Shakti Peeth Temple, a brief 10-minute drive away, offering another layer of spiritual significance.
This well-rounded itinerary ensures a meaningful and culturally enriching pilgrimage to Mahurgad, blending scenic landscapes, temple visits, and a connection with divine energies.

Nice temple of Goddess Saraswati located on the banks of Godavari River... It is one of the two famous Saraswati temples in the India, the other being Sharada Peeth. Kids are brought to the temple for d learning ceremony called as Akshara abyasam.
Temple is divine and vibe is very positive... But this place is commercialized and management is not good... Staff is rude and there is overcharge for everything .. like Pooja, parking, photography, locker, shoe keeping etc.
Also in temple boards are written only in Telugu.. so it's difficult for non Telugu people to understand...
You have to buy following things for aksharabhyasam :
Garlands, Book ,Pen,4 Slate,Slate pencil,Rice bowl,Coconut,Agarbathi, flowers, etc.
Timing for Akshara abyasam.
Morning- 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Evening- 2 PM to 6 PM
Ticket cost for Akshara abyasam is 100 rs. per kid n parent...
Special Aksharabhyasam cost is 1000 rs. Which is too much..
Camera phone is not allowed Inside... photography is changed 100rs .per person..
Overall it's a nice divine temple and must visit for Goddess Saraswati mata 's...
but management is not good and people are money minded..

Aundha Naganath Temple is a revered pilgrimage site known for its historical significance and architectural splendor.
Devotees flock to this sacred site to pay homage to Lord Shiva and seek blessings for prosperity and well-being.
However, I have concerns about priests soliciting money aggressively, detracting from the spiritual ambiance of the temple. While the temple itself holds cultural and religious importance, the persistent demands for monetary offerings can overshadow the sanctity of the pilgrimage experience for some worshippers.

You can also take Private or Public bus service operated from Aurangabad, Pune, Thane, Nashik, Nagpur etc. Nanded is a major town 70 KM from Aundha.
I will suggest visiting the temple early in the morning. It opens at 5:30. You can visit the temple in the early morning and have a glimpse of the sunrise in the campus of the temple. The blend of the historical architecture and nature will be the most memorable experience.
This temple has references and connections in Purana Pandav Kal, Mughal Kal and Ahilyabhai Kal.
You can easily perform Puja on the jyotirlinga. Shashtriji and Panditji of this temple are very helpful and charge reasonable and allow to perform Abhishek on Jyotirlinga.
Jyotirlinga is down in a cellar(undercroft) and you need to go down and come up using a 2 or 3 feet step which may not be possible for physically challenged or disabled people, which need to be kept in mind.
If you will be lucky you will find a young guy who is working as a private guide. He will take a nominal amount as a guide.
You must hear the history and story about this temple from this guide. Every penny spent for a 5-7 minute story will be worth it.
There is a Bhakt Nivas (lodge) managed by the temple management and within the campus of the Temple. I have not stayed there so can't comment about cleanliness and procedure. But you can definitely consider this as an option for a short stay. They hardly charge 300 or 500 Rs for the stay.
The government must highlight this temple and need to speed up the road infrastructure in surrounding towns and villages.

I have been visiting this place since I was a child. It's developed now. Water facilities and washrooms are available just besides the exit. The car parking space is big but parking charges Rs 50 is too high. I didn't see any camera in the parking space, not sure why parking charges are high.
The temple is great. Art work on stones is beautiful. Cleanliness is well maintained.

Temple is very beautiful, i have spent hours studying the details of the carving. This place is very well maintained.
1. Temple was built from single stone carving during 13th century
2. Temple building was said to be seven-storied before it was demolished by Aurangzeb.
3. The Jyotirlinga is located below the ground level accessed by two deep steps.
4. The Aundha Nagnath premises also house 12 small temples for the 12 Jyotirlingas.
5. On the occasion of Mahashivratri, big Mela and Bhandara hosts many devotees.

Parking places are available, the road to the temple is good. Mostly there is always a rush and it will take time to take darshan, you can take a paid pass and save some time. The overall experience was great!

So peaceful and very easily accessible from the bus stop. You can take direct Govt bus from your city and reach here. The structure of the temple looks very marvelous when looked closely and for darshan you have to go down below the entrance after entering. It was unique and blessing experience in itself. You can also see aundha lake garden along with the temple if you plan to visit with your family and kids.

Beautiful and Peaceful temple. Shivling is situated in the cave beneath the temple. At a time only 2-3 persons can enter the cave. So the queue waiting time is large 1-2 hr on weekends.
There is a facility for special darshan pass as well.

Aundha Nagnath Temple is a majestic testament to spirituality and history. Its awe-inspiring architecture and sacred aura create a tranquil atmosphere that immediately commands reverence. The unique design, with the Shiv Ling situated underground, leads to a long queue as only one person can enter and exit at a time. Despite this, the experience is undoubtedly worth it, offering a profound connection with the divine. Note that photography may not be allowed inside.

Aundha Nagnath Temple (one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples) in Hingoli, Maharashtra is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is worshipped as Lord Nagnath in this region. The devotees praying to Lord Nagnath believe that the Lord will guide them to the correct path of life, just as he did with demons at Darukavane.
The temple opens at 4:00 AM in the morning and closes at 9:00 PM in the evening. The temple also performs various rituals during this time. The devotees can be a part of these rituals such as the afternoon and evening aarti.
The timings of Aundha Nagnath Temple are as follows:
Darshan4:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Darshan during Shravan Maas4:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Afternoon Pooja1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
Evening Pooja4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
It is a popular belief that the Nagesh Linga or the Jyotirlinga is the Adhya or the first Jyotirlinga on Earth. Devotees believe that by praying at this temple, one can protect themselves against all kinds of poisons. Since this form of Shiva is Nagnath since he has a snake around his neck. This association with snakes has led to a belief that this Linga is very powerful and potent against negating the harmful effects of all poisons. Devotees have often sighted snakes with open hoods guarding the Linga.

Legend
A famous story is told about Namdev and Aundha Nagnath temple. Once he was chanting bhajans in front of the temple along with Dnyaneshwar, Visoba Khechara and some other devotees, the temple priests told him that his singing in front of the temple was disturbing his regular pooja and prayers and asked him to leave the temple. The priest of the temple insulted Bhagat Namdev and told him why he came to the temple because he was of low caste. Then Bhagat Namdev went to the back side of the temple and started chanting hymns there. But God moved around the temple to be in the sight of the sad devotee and listen to the bhajans. Why Nandi is at the back of the temple is a testimony to that miracle.
Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, is said to have visited the Aundha Nagnath temple during his travels in the area and also visited Narasi Bamni, the birthplace of Namdev. It has to be mentioned here that Namdev is worshiped as Bhagat Namdev in Sikhism.
The best time to visit the temple is during the festivals of Ekadashi, Vijayadashami and Mahashivratri when a large number of devotees come to visit the temple.

Also known as the Aundha Nagnath Temple, it's one of the oldest surviving ancient temple in the Maharashtra State.
There is this famous story about this temple that the doors of Temple turned to the west side because the pandits didn't allowed Bhagat Namdev Ji to enter into the temple because of his lower cast and made him sit on the backside of the temple. And when he sat on the back side of the temple and started chanting shlokas of divine, the door of the temple rotated to where he was sitting. Now, there is a small temple has been built on that side in his memory.
The only thing I disliked about this place that as soon as you enter the temple premises, priests start demanding money on the donation and the forces you to donate more and more. The bigger problem is that they almost harass or embarass you for donation money.

Place is wonderful. I liked it very much. But there are few things which they should improve.
1. We are wearing mask as a safety precaution. But unfortunately, people of this place are forcing us to remove mask.
2. We went to Lunger very 1st time. Thank you for the food they offered. But in the end , women's feeding is roti and daal are forcing us to finish some chutney type daal . We told them that we are not able to finish at the moment but then they are cursing use and using bad words towards us. They literally calling us that we are eating someones part. This kind of behaviour is surprising to us.

The gurudwara is so clean! The whole atmosphere is serene and quiet, and quite devotional. Everyone is courteous, and everyone is welcome - as long as you're respectful and not being rowdy.
Two points to remember for the visitors:
1. They don't allow you in with shorts /bermudas. Full, respectable clothing is required, with a covered head.
2. They don't allow masks inside. That was a little concerning, but it's a question of religion, so okay. Nevertheless, ample social distancing was maintained, and top notch cleanliness was seen, so on the whole, we were not very worried about coronavirus, inside.
Good parking space is available, and a whole line of shops for random, spur of the moment shopping.
Absolutely worth visiting, if you're in Nanded.

Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib is a magnificent Sikh pilgrimage site located in the heart of Nanded, Maharashtra. The site is one of the five takhts (thrones) of the Sikh religion, and is considered to be one of the most sacred places for Sikhs around the world.
As soon as I entered the premises, I was struck by the incredible beauty of the architecture and the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded me. The glistening gold and white exterior of the Takhat was absolutely breathtaking, and the intricate carvings and design details were a testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the artisans who created it.
The site is steeped in history and spirituality, and I was moved by the powerful sense of reverence and devotion that permeated the air. The highlight of my visit was the darshan of the holy Guru Granth Sahib, the religious text of the Sikhs, which is housed within the premises.
The staff at Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib were friendly and welcoming, and were always available to answer any questions I had about the site and its significance. The site also offers various amenities, such as a langar hall where visitors can enjoy a free meal, and a guest house for those who wish to stay overnight.
Overall, my experience at Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib was truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is interested in Sikhism, history, or spirituality. Whether you are a devout Sikh or simply a curious traveler, a visit to Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchal Nagar Sahib is an absolute must.

Gurudwara Road, Yatri Niwas Rd, Nanded, Maharashtra 431601, India
Shri Tulja Bhavani Temple, situated in Osmanabad district of Maharashtra state, is an ancient and venerable Hindu temple with colorful towers and a black stone idol of a mother goddess. A popular pilgrimage destination for devotees from neighboring states like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The temple's construction dates back to ancient times and its structure is captivatingly beautiful.
On the way we came across Akkalkot, a famous pilgrimage place where Akkjalkot Maharaj, one of Dattareya's incarnations, lived. The road is very wide with four lanes and quite smooth. So we reached our destination in one hour. The temple is built in Maharashtrian style with a small conical tower on which sculptures of Bhavani are seen. There is a huge crowd waiting in serpentine queues. The way leading to the temple is quite long with many shops on either side. At the entrance of the temple premises there is a big tree where you find a small cradle with a goddess. Brahmins came to help us in performing pooja to the main goddess inside the sanctum.
later asked us to stand in the line till we proceed to the main sanctum. It took nearly one hour to reach the sanctum. Many villagers with their families came and sang songs about Devi Ma.

Tulja Bhavani is a form of goddess Parvati who is worshiped in Maharashtra, and also by people of Telangana, Northern Karnataka and Nepal Bhavani translates to "giver of life", meaning the power of nature or the source of creative energy. She is considered to be a mother who provides to her devotees and also plays the role of dispensing justice by killing Asuras.Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj the founder of the Maratha kingdom, always visited this temple to seek blessings.[citation needed] The legend has to its credit to say that the Goddess gave him a sword called ‘Bhavani kadga’' by using which Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was successful in his expeditions. The history of the temple dates back to the days of ' Skanda Purana ' as it finds a mention in that holy script. According to the epic story, there was a sage "Kardam" and his consort "Anubhuthi’ with an infant, in this area. After his death his wife "Anubhuthi" performed a penance for goddess in the name of Bhavani on the banks of river "Mandakini" to look after her child. There was a demon (Rakshasa) by name "Kukur" who tortured her. Then Goddess Bhavani rescued Anubhuthi and killed the demon. The goddess on the prayer of her pet devotee settled on the hill of "Bala ghat". Since then the Mother Goddess came to be called as Bhavani of Tuljapur or Tulja Bhavani.
Mother Goddess Bhavani temple is the place where Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj graced was blessed by Matha Bhavani.[citation needed] It is situated at Tuljapur as such it is popularly known as Tulja Bhavani Temple in district of Maharashtra. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peetas attributed to Goddess Parvati. The second among the 'Shaktipeetas' is Goddess Bhavani at Tuljapur. Bhavani is one who gives life and source of original power.
Tuljapur is at 45 km from Solapur. Historically this temple was built in 12th century. There is yet another Tulja Bhavani temple built in 1537-1540 in Chittorgarh. There is a third temple of Tulja Bhavani in the village of Patnakuva Gandhinagar in Gujarat. According to the priest, this Goddess came here from Tuljapur during 14th century. The Goddess is said to be swayambhu (self emanated). It is true that God or Goddess is always referred as ‘swayambhu’ in Vedas, Puranas and many legends. But it does not refer to the stone idol installed in a temple. What is attributed is to the invisible Supreme power.
The second among the 'Shaktipeeths' is Tulja Bhavani of Tuljapur. It is the family deity of the Bhosale Royal family, the Yadavs and of countless numbers of families belonging to different castes. The great ruler and founder of the Maratha kingdom, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj visited the temple as he was a prominent devotee of her, people believe that the Goddess gifted him a sword - 'The Bhawani Talwar' - to succeed in his expeditions. Tulaja word indicates to an old Hindu monastery at Tolaja village in the present Rawalpindi division of Pakistan.Along with temples of Renuka at Mahur, Mahalaxmi at Kolhapur, and Saptashringi at Vani, the temple of Bhavani at Tuljapur forms the four great Shaktipitha in Maharashtra.[3] Many legends are associated with the temple. One legend involves a demon, Madhu-Kaitabh, who was wreaking havoc upon both the gods and humans. Unable to find any solution, they turned to Lord Brahma for help, who advised them to turn to the Goddess Shakti. She took up the form of a destroyer, and powered by the other (Sapta) Mata Varaahi, Brahmi, Vaishnavi, Kaumaari Indraani, and Saambhavi, vanquished the demon and restored peace. Legend also states that Bhavani finished another demon that had taken up the disguise of a buffalo (Mahisha), and took shelter on the Yamunachala Hill which is part of Balaghat mountain range.

The temple is located in a picturesque location and has a tranquil ambiance that is perfect for meditation and prayer. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Tulja Bhawani, who is known for her powerful presence and divine grace.
The temple is well-maintained, and the architecture and design are breathtaking. The intricate carvings and sculptures are a testimony to the exceptional craftsmanship of ancient India. The temple also has a serene pond and gardens, which add to the beauty of the surroundings.
The priests were knowledgeable and hospitable, and they guided us through the rituals with ease. The temple also offers various facilities like prasad distribution and donation counters, which were well-organized and efficient.
The atmosphere inside the temple was calm and peaceful, which made it easier to connect with the divine. The chanting of mantras and the sound of bells created a spiritual atmosphere that was awe-inspiring.
Overall, I would highly recommend Shree Tulja Bhawani Shaktipeeth Temple to anyone looking for a peaceful and spiritual experience. The temple is a must-visit for anyone interested in exploring the rich cultural and religious heritage of India.

As we came across the temple there are nearby Hotel and Lodges available to stay with pocket friendly budget and very walkable distance from the temple
There are Many Hotels and Snacks restaurants nearby which are Pure Vegetarian.
The Tuljapur Bus Station is quite walkable from the temple it is around 1 km
There are no Proper Section/Service to keep our Footwears we have to rely on the shopkeepers which are selling Pooja Saman and Coconuts.
Also there were no proper que Management it was quite disappointing.

During the 12th century CE, Tulja Bhavani temple was built. She is the Bhosale Royal family’s Kuldevi, Yadavs and many more. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Maratha Kingdom’s founder, was Tulja Bhavani’s ardent devotee, and she gave him a’ Bhawani sword’ that brought success in his various expeditions. The main entrance is called Nimbalkar Sardar. The two entrances are named after the parents of Shivaji Maharaj, Shahaji and Jija bai. There is a temple in front of the main temple dedicated to sage Markandeya Rishi and a Holy Firepit. Two libraries are located in the temple complex. Devotees take a dip in the shallow water tanks of’ Gomukh Theerth’ and’ Kallol Theerth’ before they reach the Sanctum. This 3 ft high idol has eight hands holding the head and arms of the demon Mahishasura. Sometimes identified as Turaja, Tvarita and Amba are the goddess Tulja

Maa Tulja Bhavani Devi Temple is a very powerful temple. Appears as a normal temple when observed but once you go inside you realize it is really vast. It is a very historic and very old temple but the foundations are still so good.
Approach highways are so well maintained as we travelled from Belapur - Kolhapur - Solapur - Tuljapur - Solapur - Belapur covering 800 plus Kms with utmost ease.
Jai Mata Tulja Bhavani.

One of the Ancient Hindu Temple.
We visited just because we heard that it is one of the Shakti Peeth in India located in Tuljapur Maharashtra.
It's also famous for Shivaji Maharaj kuldevi.
It's well connected with Bus stand.
Lots of hotel and lodges are available nearby temple.
We stayed in 108 Bhakat Niwas.
Neat and clean facility with big room. AC room in just 2000 rupees..extra mattress costing for 200 if no of family members more than 2.
Hot water available for bathing between 3-6 am.
Temple opens at 3 am in morning. So it's advisable to go to temple early morning hours only.
Lots of rush during weekend. But best arrangement for queue management.

My visit to the Tulja Bhavani Devi Temple was a profound experience of serenity and spiritual upliftment. Revered by the Marathas, this temple's stunning black stone architecture creates a unique and enchanting ambiance. As I stepped inside, I was immediately embraced by the blessings and positive vibes of Goddess Tulja Bhavani, enhancing the divine atmosphere. While the temple often sees long queues during special occasions, visiting on an off day promises a more tranquil experience. Additionally, the surrounding market is a delightful spot for street shopping, offering a glimpse into the local culture and traditions. Overall, my visit to this holy place was truly remarkable, blending spirituality, culture, and history into an unforgettable experience.

The tour through the vineyards, the open skies, the wine tasting experience, the fresh home cooked meals and the ATV rides, were all such a memorable experience! It was honestly such a pleasant stay! Moreover, the staff is super courteous, hospitable and accommodating.
A special shout-out to Shitij for being so gracious and patiently answering all our questions, walking us through the entire wine making process, leading a very informative wine tasting session and giving us the best recommendations for wine.

Ideal getaway for a relaxed weekend to chill, take long walks among vineyards and enjoy good wine. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The entire staff (Sushant, Taufeeq, Bola, Jana maushi, Ravi ...) is very hospitable. They were extremely accommodating with the many requests we had for our kids especially around food. The food is delicious. The entire property has a good vibe to it. It's perhaps the wine, which is of course very good.

This review comes quite late given that we were there at Fratelli at the beginning of Feb, and what a wonderful stay ut was. Located from the hustle bustle of everything Fratelli Vineyard is truly a luxury stay-for miles you only see the lush green cultivation and far away hillocks (we had an amazing lunch at one of the hillocks overlooking the entire valley) and we kept thinking how would it all look during monsoons. The rooms are so very comfortable and open up a private lawn where we created so many memories, a private movie screening as well. The food was just amazing and the chef and his team dished out the most mouth-watering food for us. I ought to mention the manager, Sushant who with his plethora of knowledge took us through wine tasting, visit through the vineyard, wine making process and answered everything that we asked of him.
The stay was one memorable holiday and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This is the deity worshiped by not only Sanglikars, but also by devotees from all over Maharashtra. The temple that was built by Raje Patwardhan is based on "Panchayatan" system of deity placement. It's a place to find solace , calm , peace of mind and the God of wisdom, Ganpatibappa is also known as Wighnaharta, i.e., the one who destroys all your worries. Just go and find your solace.

Ganapati Temple is regarded as the most beautiful temple in south Maharashtra. It is situated on the banks of river Krishna at Sangli. Thorle (elder) Chintamanrao Patwardhan consecrated the idol in 1843.
The temple has been artistically built with black stone brought from Jyotibha hills. There is a platform, a hall and a 'Nagarkhana' inside the vast two acres complex of the temple. The entrance door has been carved out of different coloured natural wood.
The idol of the Lord Ganapati is made of copper. The idol has been kept in a way that it is visible from any part of Ganapati Peth. It looks so beautiful when the silvery rays of evening sun brighten the face of the Ganapati idol.
Ganapati festival is celebrated with great religious fervour for five days from Bhadrapad Shuddha Chaturthi.
Sangli is well connected by air, train and road. Dharamshalas and small budgeted hotels at Sangli are available for accommodation.

Shree Kopeshwar Mandir
Hindu temple

Hindu temple with elephant pillars, intricate stone carvings & a dome with a circular opening.
Kopeshwar Temple near Kolhapur in Maharashtra is a masterpiece of Chalukyan temple architecture. It is yet to get the fame like Chola temples of Thanjavur or Chandela temples of Khajuraho. Maybe because it is a single temple in this region with a much smaller Jain temple in the vicinity. Maybe its time has just come now.
History of Kopeshwar Temple at Khidrapur
There are different views on when this temple was exactly built. Sources point to it being first built in 7th CE, probably built by Badami Chalukyas. Other sources place it in 9th CE during the times of Kalyani Chalukyas. While yet other sources put it to 12th CE built by Shilahar Kings, who were earlier the vessels of Chalukyan kings.
My sense is that it is probably a 9th CE temple later enhanced by Shilahars. You do see a lot of incomplete elements in the temple. For example, the incomplete north and south Mukh mandapas, incomplete carvings on pillars with markings for carving. As they say, incomplete structures give you insights into the making of temples. The Shikhar of the temple is also out of sync with the rest of the structure. Temples anyway are on perpetual construction mode.
The temple thankfully has 12 inscriptions, 11 of which are in old Kannada script while one is in Devnagari. However, none of these inscriptions tell us about who built it and when. One of them dating to 1204 by Yadava Kings of Deogiri do mention the renovation of the temple, implying that the temple existed well before 12th CE.

What a beauty leveraging ancient architecture and designs that are just beyond our imagination. Truely a unique monument which needs to be addressed and admired by everyone. This temple of God Shiva (Kopeshwar) is situated at such a location which is surrounded by river Krishna on three of its side. Entering into this temple makes you realize the fact that how the people at that time had built it. Construction was started in 7th century and later in 12th century Silahara King completed the work with due respect. Best part of temple is the Swargmandap which is at the start, really amazing sculpture and construction done. Only one thing as a tourist you feel bad is that Government has no attention over this beautiful monument

This ancient Shiva mandir located near Maharashtra Karnataka border is an absolute wonder.
I remember visiting it many years back and being completely awe struck by the beauty of it. I was fortunate to visit it again very recently. Since then the road to Khidrapur is a bit better and some shops, parking space has come near the temple.
The temple walls are adorned with beautiful stone carvings, not only within the temple but on the outer walls too. But the biggest attractions is definitely Swarga Mandap. Don't miss seeing it around evening time.
Pro tip: lie fown on your back at the center and look up the swarga mandap. It looks even more beautiful.

Shri Kopeswar (Furious) Mahadev Temple, sited on Krishna river banks, at Koopam village, Khidrapur, in Kolhapur district (Maharashtra) - is a border town of Maharashtra & Karnataka. The historic temple with fascinating myths & legends, was built during 12 century by Shilahara Kings of Chalukya dynasty.
The magnificent architectural marvel of intrinsic stone carvings on the Temple Walls & Pillars are Splendid. The location of the temple has influenced the architectural work with a mix culture of Chalukya, Hoysala & Hemadpanti architectural & artistic marvel.
Inside the temple - the magnificent Swargamandap has a vestibule with an open sky view top. Picturesque.
This is probably the only temple where Lord Vishnu is sited next to Lord Shiva, in form of another Shivling. Also, strangely Nandi is absent here inside the temple premises.
The temple has lost its marvel architectural glory due to past invasions & depletion, erosion in time. Government has not preserved or renovated this wonderful Heritage site. The architectural magnificence would be Lost soon if No initiative is taken for maintenance or restoration by the Government or ASI or UNESCO.
The Visit to the Temple is highly recommended.

This temple is declared as a National Protected Monument in Maharashtra. The temple is a masterpiece of architecture and the beautiful sculptures on this temple are very beautifully carved. There are huge elephants on the gajthara (गजथर) and on the backs of these elephants there are sculptures of different gods and goddesses. Inside the Temple we can see, there are 8 deities of 8 directions, collectively called Digpals occupying their respective directions and in addition, there are 4 images of Vishnu, Kartik, the Sun, and Shiva.

It was one of the most beautiful historical moments I have seen. The temple built with Hemadpant structural style, it faced Aurangzeb's invasion and his attempted destruction. Aurangzeb has distructed trunks of the elephants and defaced human statues. The temple also faced destructive effects of river floods but has survived. the remIning statues and tje architectural beauty is still amazing.
This is the only temple where Gods Shankar and Vishnu are together, and the God Shankar is facing south.
This is the only temple where Lord Nandi is not present with God Shankar.
The temple has some carvings identifying the rich history of Indian culture.
No tickets are required, but I recommend taking a guide to understand the history and the carvings or statues at the monument.

A Hidden 12th century temple, built on the banks of River Krishna, Kopeshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva,
Story behind this temple is, when lord Shiva was furious when sati Parvati jumped into Daksha’s sacrifice. Lord Vishnu then brought Shiva to the temple to calm him down. Hence the temple got the name as ‘Kopeshwar’.
The construction of temple started in 7th century AD and the work remained incomplete under various dynasties.
M agnificent piece of intricate Chalukyan architecture. Built with basalt stone, the entire temple is divided into four parts Swarga Mandap, Sabha Mandapa, Antarala, and Garbhagriha / Sanctum Sanctorum. The Swarg Mandap of the temple is unique and stunning. The mandap is supported by 48 beautifully carved pillars and has a large circular stone disc with an open roof.
Apart from the temple, there are no other facilities provided for the tourists. Guest rooms, tour guides, hotels and other information are not available at the venue and so there is not much of a response to this historical site.

In the era of social media, the hidden gems like the ancient Shri Kopeshwar Mandir will come to light and I had the opportunity to visit the same in the month of March 2024. It was on my bucket list for long and finally had the chance to visit this historic temple with a beautiful open to sky architecture of the navarang.
This intrinsic architectural marvel has 12 pillars with carvings of deities with an open space in the middle. I am sure, it will be so beautiful to see this place during full moon day.
The inner sanctum is also an awesome structure with many beautifully carved structures. Lord Shiva resides here in the name of Kopeshwar.
Khidrapur lies on the banks of river Krishna on the border of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Lot of parking space on the river bank and you will be charged Rs 30 for parking.

I request the management to take care of it. It’s a best place for Photographer . Very angle got a different beauty. I’m going to visit again soon . Specially during sunrise.

The temple is beautifully carved but oll maintained. Since they charge for entrance and parking they should provide proper service and be professional so that it can be developed as a tourist spot.
One should avoid on week end and take time to explore the carving marvels.

One of the best architecture I have visited. You will need a minimum 2hrs to explore carvings. Each carving has lots to tell about ancient times and spirituality.
When you enter the temple there is a swarg mandal from where sun rays pass into the temple forming a globe structure according to the shift of sun.
Although, outside it was very sunny and warm, the temple was a really calm place to be.
A must visit place.
Outside the temple parking space was available although it was weekend time. And sugarcane juice was a great drink to beat the heat.

I'll never travel to Panjim without this trip planner again
Going to Belgaum is incomplete without visiting it's less travelled beautiful places and a place in our bucket lists was Gokak falls,
It is a 2.5 hour drive from belgavi city. Driving through the village roads and through lush green fields of rice and sugarcane was an very good rural experience,on reaching there we were happy to see the Falls from a hill,in the summer months the flow of water is less. One of the exciting thing about visiting the waterfall is not just seeing it but walking through the river by a walking cable Bridge,I can say the bridge is quite sturdy and strong. The bridge was closed and wasn't open because of pandemic BUT i hope the belgavi government opens the brige for visitors post pandemic. We managed to walk through the bridge later we went down the rocks to cross the cool streams of water and feel the scenic beauty of the fall.
It was one of a kind Experience after all!

Gokak Falls is 6 km away from Gokak town and gets its name from the Goki trees found in abundance in these areas. It resembles the Niagara Falls due to its features like the fall, shape etc. Here, River Ghataprabha takes a leap of 52 metres over the sand-stone cliff amidst a picturesque gorge of the rugged valley, making a beautiful sight. This place has the credit of generating electricity for the first time in the country in about 1887. A prime attraction of the Gokak Falls is the hanging 200-m-long bridge that lies 14 m above the bedrock. Tourists can also visit monuments on both sides of the rocky gorge which include temples of Goddess Durga, Lord Shanmukha and Lord Mahalingeshwara built in the traditional Chalukyan style of architecture.
Reasons to visit Gokak Falls:
Hanging Bridge: Built across the river, 200 meters long, gives an elevated view of the falls.
Lord Mahalingeshwara Temple, built-in Chalukya style architecture.
Kemple Park botanical gardens
Yogi Kolla hiking: A popular trekking destination 3 kms from the falls.
Mallaprabha Boating: Boating options in Markandeya river, 8 kms from the Falls
More temples: such as Yogikolla Mallikarjuna Temple, Kariyamma Temple, Laxmi Temple, Hanuman Temple n more.
Nearby: Godachinmalki waterfalls (13 kms from Gokak Falls) and Saundatti Yellamma (73 kms) are often visited along with the Falls.
How to reach Gokak Falls: The Falls is 622 kms from Bengaluru and 62 kms from Belagavi. Belagavi is the nearest airport and major railway station. Belagavi is well-connected by air, rail and road to rest of Karnataka. From Belagavi taxi can be hired to reach Gokak falls.
Stay: Gokak city, 6 kms away, has budget hotels. Belagavi city has more hotel options.

It's a good place for one day visit. Has lot of history attached to it.
Even during the month of January it had sufficient water.
Authority should take some action to maintain cleanliness.

Gokak is also known for its old Hindu Temples. The most famous once are Mahalingeshwara temple, Savalagi Shivalinga Matha, Yogikolla temple and Duradundeshwara temple in Arabhavi. Mahalingeshwara temple is well-known and is located on the Ghataprabha Riverside near Gokak water-falls.

This place is also famous for Kardant (sweet) and Gokak textile mill. Gokak textile mill has factory outlet which has wide variety of good quality items such as towels, tshrits , pants, carpet and many more at a lucrative price point.

Gokak Waterfall, situated in the Indian state of Karnataka, is a breathtaking natural wonder that captivates visitors with its raw beauty and serene surroundings. This majestic waterfall is formed by the Ghataprabha River as it cascades down a rugged gorge, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that has earned it the nickname "Mini Niagara of India."
The Gokak Waterfall is an emblem of the unspoiled charm of nature. Its sheer drop of about 170 feet into the chasm below creates a thunderous roar that resonates through the lush greenery. During the monsoon season, when the river is in full flow, the waterfall is at its most impressive, with a colossal volume of water crashing down.
The surrounding landscape adds to the allure of Gokak Falls. The verdant hills and the dense forested areas create a serene atmosphere, making it a popular spot for nature enthusiasts and photographers. The viewing platform near the falls offers an excellent vantage point to witness this natural marvel up close.
Apart from its natural beauty, Gokak also holds historical significance. The town of Gokak itself is known for its textile industry and historical landmarks like the Gokak Mills. The old suspension bridge, known as the Gokak Bridge, adds a touch of nostalgia to the scenery.
Gokak Waterfall is not just a feast for the eyes but also a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's a place where one can connect with nature's grandeur and find solace in the soothing sound of rushing water. Whether you're a nature lover, an adventurer, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Gokak Waterfall is a must-visit destination that leaves a lasting impression on all who behold its splendor.

Beautiful place. Best time to visit july end or any time in rainy season.
From belgaum 2 routes are there, via Hidkal and via Ankalgi. Go with Hidkal only if u want to visit Hidkal dam else go with Ankalgi route for better road condition and less distance.
Rare tip : Entry to the view point have temples and one old mill also. Apart from this just opposite side of this across the river there is another view point which is not that maintained but the view of the fall is great from there. Get locals help to reach there.
The Shree Ambabai Temple, Kolhapur is a magnificent Hindu temple renowned for its intricate sculptural designs. It is considered one of the most significant and lively places of worship in Maharashtra, dedicated to Amba Bai - the Mother Goddess. The temple's history dates back to AD 10, but much of its present structure was built in the 18th century.
If you are in Maharashtra then you should visit this temple in Kolhapur. The temple is beautiful and exudes a peaceful and calm atmosphere. It's centrally located and radiates positive vibes.
However parking can be an issue.
Street parking is available nearby and there is a municipal parking lot, but it can be somewhat hard to find.
The municipal parking charges 30 rs for cars. Toilet facilities are also available. It's about a 15-minute walk from the parking lot to the temple.
Be cautious of locals who may try to charge 50rs for parking closer to the temple, as the municipal parking is a more cost-effective and trustable option.

Shri Ambabai Temple or Mahalakshmi Temple in Kohlapur is one of the ancient Shakthipeethams in India. This sixth century Chalukya temple is an architectural wonder. It appears that a major earthquake in the 8th century which damaged most of the original structure and has been reconstructed over the centuries.
The temple complex has four main entrances. The complex includes five huge spires. The main idol is Goddess Mahalakshmi. Next to the main idol is Goddess Mahakali and Goddess MahaSaraswathi thus representing the three Goddesses of Hinduism.

Unkal Lake is a beautiful picnic spot and a major source of drinking water for the twin cities of Hubli & Dharwad. About 110 years old, the lake covers an area of nearly 200 acres. Great place for walkers and jogger’s . We could only make 1/4th round of the entire lake . According to the security of the lake the entire periphery of the lake is about 6.5 kms . The lake closes at 07:00 pm . If you are planning to cover the entire round then have ample time before you take the full circle.
The lake is just next to Hotel naveen . The pavement have been well laid . There are lights out along the track so that the move may be smooth . There is a sun set view point at the enterance at a heightened location . There is an eatery/restaurant at the entrance where you can grab snack before you set out for walking . Entrance fee is 10/- and parking fee is also 10/- . If you are in Hubballi and not sure where to go in the evening then this is a good place to explore .

I am a resident of Jaipur and have been visiting lake for long walks ever since childhood. I have seen people from all walks of life come to lake for morning and evening walks. I like to walk the talk here with friends and family. The environment of the lake is very conducive for deep introspection. Watching the sunrise or sunset gives me an exhilarating experience and makes me feel one with God and Nature. Of late you can see the water shimmering like silver if you go around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and makes the whole area look so calm and serene and beautiful. At the other end of the lake there is now a Buddha Park with a very beautiful calm and serene statue of Lord Buddha in sitting pose. At the entrance you will find the lake club, restaurant, lots of vendors selling eatables, and a big play zone for kids where you can enjoy with kids. Also, there are ducks in the lake which you can feed or go for a boat ride. There are plenty of things to do here. It has become an activity centre for people. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Located on the Camp Road in Belgaum in Karnataka, Military Mahadev Temple is one of the prime attractions in the city that has been built and maintained by the Indian Army. Founded in 1955 by Lieutenant General S.M. Shrinagesh, General Officer, and Commander-in-Chief Southern Command, the temple is situated in the heart of a lush green park. In addition to that, there is also a play area for the kids.
The foundation stone of Military Mahadev Temple was laid on January 18, 1954. The temple was opened to public on January 24, 1955 by Lieutenant General S.M. Shrinagesh, General Officer and Commander-in-Chief Southern Command.
Military Mahadev Temple has undergone several renovations and modifications through the years and the dome has been completely changed. There is a religious ritual practised every Monday called Samuhik Panchamrit, also called as the collective offering of the Panchamrit. This Panchamrit is made of four important elements - honey, yogurt, ghee, and sugar. The most important festival celebrated here is Mahashivratri. It has undergone renovations with a new dome built in the original style and carvings similar to those in other South Indian temples.
The temple remarkably clean and well-maintained. It is so called because of its long-standing use for worship by army personnel and of course, it was later thrown open to the public.

One of the best temple in belgaon. This one is too spacious and they have many seating arrangements also in the premise. There’s a ground on which they have developed some miniatures of forts won by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Children’s park is also there on another side of temple.
Photography is not allowed in main temple. This temple has two nandi statues in-front of the shivling rather than one which we usually see.
This is really close to the belgaon railway station so you can actually walk upto this place.

Very beautiful place to visit, If you are going to Goa by this route you can visit this place.
But good to visit in rainy season..
There are many small food stalls near waterfall to have some snacks..
Please keep this place clean, do not litter and park your vehicle safely to avoid accidents.

Maharashtra Sindhudurg distt. Amboli waterfall is situated in the Shayadri hills of western ghats.
This impressive fall is 350 km from Pune and 180 from Kolhapur. Trend of waterfall is like Dudhsagar waterfall. Amboli is at height of almost 750 mtr over the sea level. Here you can have a exciting view of waterfall from the front.
The tall beautiful waterfall is surrounded by hills, forest and natural landscape.
Picturesque view of waterfall add charm to this place particularly in monsoon.
One can also visit the Mahadevgarh point at 3.5 km and Kawalesaad point just 10 km away known for its scenic beauty as well .
At a distance of 50 mtr many of food, snacks and tea stalls are there.
One side car parking is allowed ensuring no hindrance to other passing vehicles.

Amboli Water Falls is the best sight in Amboli Ghat. Its very pleasant and scenic during the rainy season. However in dry season, its like any other normal waterfall. Amboli is very beautiful during rainy season when its green everywhere and water flows from everywhere onto the roads.

Amboli
The breathtaking Amboli Waterfalls is located in the hill station of Amboli in south Maharashtra in India.
This incredibly high waterfall is surrounded by numerous other waterfalls as well, and the sight of the falling water and the surrounding greenery add to the beauty and charm of the already mesmerising place. Since the beauty of the falls cannot be enjoyed throughout the year, the excitement and curiosity to witness this magical waterfall becomes doubled, and couples, children, groups of friends, as well as families, have a gala time at the Amboli Waterfalls.

Beautiful and safe waterfall, no trekking required, only few steps to climb to reach up to the waterfall. During monsoon those steps are also filled with water and the view is breathtaking. Currently its raining very less and hence no water over the steps.

This is one of the must visit waterfalls during monsoon. I have visited it a couple of times. There is a lot of crowd during holidays and weekends. The highway is always blocked due to traffic.
Be careful and keep a check on the rains if you are planning to visit during monsoon as there are cases of landslides every year.
As of today 15th of August, there isnt much water due to scarcity of rainfall this year. However, its still a beautiful waterfalls amid the lush green forests of Amboli ghats.

Beautiful waterfall on Amboli Ghat. It was a passerby stop during monsoon but now its popularity is huge. Lots of crowds from Goa, Karnataka & Maharashtra visit.
Steps created to make it safe & accessible.
Lots of delicious Vada pav, sabudana Vada, corn, onion pakoda, chai, coffee stalls at its base.
Do not feed the monkeys. They are not scared of humans.
There is no parking space. Have to park on sides of the road. Huge traffic jams on weekends during monsoon months.

A big thank you to Govt. authority to build staircase to see the closest view of waterfall. It is the roadside waterfall and don’t need any trekking to reach here.

Dudhsagar Falls, situated at the Goa-Karnataka border, is a 3-streamed waterfall that derives its name from its milky waters. It measures around 310 meters in height and is divided into four layers that eventually merge into the Mandovi River. As one of the tallest waterfalls in India, it is a popular tourist attraction and an ideal destination for nature lovers to revel in its lush green glory during monsoon season.
Beautiful place. Better to visit during/after monsoons otherwise everything is "red". ( oh , and beware the monkeys. They are adorable but playful and may want your purse/bag or sunglasses)
san shal — Google review
Private jeeps are the only way to go up. They are always on tight schedule and will give you only 90 min of time at water fall after reaching at parking place. 90 min is sufficient if you want to do some photography. But if you are a swimmer then negotiate the extra time charge in advance.

Dudhsagar Falls in Goa is a breathtaking natural wonder that leaves visitors in awe. The majestic cascade of white water plunging down from a height creates a mesmerizing spectacle. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, adding to the pristine beauty of the location. The sight and sound of the gushing water create a sense of tranquility and serenity. While the journey to Dudhsagar Falls can be adventurous, the destination is well worth it. Whether you choose to admire the falls from a distance or take a refreshing dip in its pools, Dudhsagar Falls offers a memorable and enchanting experience for nature lovers.

Haven on the earth, amazing natural beauty, you should never miss a chance to visit this place. I assure you will be filled with joy and adventure after reaching this place.
The safari ride will thrill you by it's adventure.
Good job the forest team to maintain the place clean and respectful.
Please don't remove your life jacket if you're entering in to falls as I could be dangerous because of its depth.
Priyank Singh — Google review
It’s a journey to get here and you should count at least 4 hours for this trip (excluding the journey from the hotel to the park entrance which in our case took 2 hours in each direction from our hotel in north Goa)
Overall we left the hotel at 7am and returned at 4pm
Getting the mandatory Jeep to go in the track to reach the waterfall is a very disorganized process (it takes roughly 30 minutes and cost 700rs + 40rs for life jacket) / we heard that you can skip this part by booking online.
Once in the Jeep, count 30-45 minutes to get through the checkpoint (100rs for government) and reach the Jeep parking.
Then around 10 minutes walk (difficult for kids and old people) to cross very natural places before reaching the waterfalls.
You can swim in the waterfalls, it’s clean and safe.
Not recommended for solo women travelers.
Yassine Belmamoun — Google review
The trek is a bit hectic (around 14 kms one way) but it’s totally worth it. The view is breathtaking. If you like watching water falling over rocks, it’s definitely a place to check out.
Aleena A Philip — Google review
Gifted place. You cannot ride to the falls, stop the car at the jeep taxi stand and book the jeep online. Link will be provided at the place. Rs. 25 per person for registration, kids above age 5 to be considered as adults. This registration copy to be shown at the counter to get a jeep driver. One jeep will carry only 7 passengers. You need to pay 500 per head for jeep safari, additional 300 including the life jacket (mandatory) and forest entrance fees.
Ride to the falls is awesome. You will get almost an hour time at the falls. Have to be careful while walking over the slippery rocks 🪨. Mobiles must kept inside a plastic cover or carry it very carefully. Wear the life jacket and you can swim in the water. Water will be very cold and it’s an awesome experience there. Carry swim suits or spare dress to enjoy the bath.

Dudhsagar Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder that left me in awe during my recent visit. The sheer size and power of the waterfall are simply mesmerizing. The cascading water looks like a frothy river of milk, hence the name "Dudhsagar," which means "Sea of Milk" in Hindi.
The lush green surroundings and the dense forest add to the charm of this place, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers. The journey to reach the waterfall, whether by train or trekking, is an adventure in itself, with stunning views of the Goan countryside.
The only downside to this popular tourist destination is the crowd. It can get quite crowded, especially during the peak season, which takes away from the tranquility of the place. However, if you can time your visit during the off-peak hours, you'll have a more peaceful experience.
Overall, Dudhsagar Waterfall is a must-visit for anyone exploring the natural beauty of Goa. It's a sight to behold and a great escape from the bustling beaches and nightlife of the region.

A wonderful natural beauty.
This is a very unique scenario where you can see waterfalls, hilly rivers, deep forest and railway tracks in between deep forest. You can take a Jeep ride from Kulem to visit this waterfall. The water is very clear and the atmosphere is very peaceful and pleasant in nature. You can take a deep breath and chill in here. Fresh air and fresh water.
You can visit from November to February for the best experience. Water is around 20 meters deep at the falling point. A life jacket is must to visit this waterfall.

When we went here few years, we had only option to get the train, if we miss then need to walk to main station to catch the trains. Lot had improved now after many visitors are reaching here. We can bath at downside of the fall with trekking. No shops where there before but now we have it. Lot improved now. Great experience.

Very hyped falls, with less stream and water. Approaching road inside forest is bumpy, not a tar road takes around 45 minutes to reach followed by 10 to 15 min walk. 640 per head- 500 ticket, 100 to forest entry, 40 life jacket or 3500 for a vehicle. Railway track is there. Water is deep and cold. Overall ok.

One of the best places to visit in South Goa. We came here in the off season. Had a small hike to make it to here. But it was all worth it. The waterfall is is a huge one and shipped like heart. You can also see it from the train but we decided to get down in Kulem station to do a small hike. The hike it self was amazing.

Breath taking view when you arrive there. I would absolutely recommend a visit if you are in India and Goa. Make sure you arrive early as there is a limit to how many Jeeps can go there in a day. Swimming in the water is a must after a hot trek but get ready for crowded and quite tight rocky shore. Water is deep.
Also be careful with any food as monkey are there to steal it then they litter around with food wrappings juice boxes etc. They can get quite aggressive.
Najir Shaikh — Google review
Make sure to visit this place in the early morning . Morning is the best time to reach there with view as well as to avoid long queues, otherwise you will end up waiting in queue while sitting in your vehicle. Don't carry any food inside the waterfall otherwise you'll have to share it with monkeys. In Jeep Safari I had an experience where a monkey suddenly came up for food and was sitting with me inside the Jeep.
For a ticket you need to do an online booking and then to book for Jeep from there with life jacket charge. There is also a separate jungle entry fee, so it is better to keep your card handy for the payment.

One must visit this waterfall if you are visiting Goa. The milky white water flows with gush which is a treat to eyes. it is wise to visit this waterfall in Goa, after the monsoon, between October to February.
If you want to swim in the Dudhsagar River at the base of the falls, do it only with a life jacket. Bathing in the monsoon is not recommended when the water flows with great force. There are no cloakrooms / lockers to store luggage near the falls.
Note: Be aware of monkeys and dont feed them.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Doodh Sagar in Goa, and let me tell you, it's a sight to behold! The view from there is absolutely stunning, especially after it rains and everything is lush and green. Unfortunately, they're not allowing visitors to go up to the top at the moment, but don't let that deter you – you can still take in the beauty from ground level. I'd suggest planning your visit for after rainy days to get the full experience. However, if you're thinking of going during hot weather, it might not be as enjoyable. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a nature lover!

Do not miss this falls, The jeep ride is adventure. Book the ticket online, it will show a slot in online ticket, doesn't matter its a kind of confirmation. You can get ticket earlier. Go as early as possible to the ticket counter, The queues are big on season time. Took around 2hrs for us to get ticket from counter. Carry cash and water. No shop near falls. Keep the life jacket safe. It is required to get into falls.

Dudhsagar Waterfall is a paradise, offering a wide range of its beauty for all the nature enthusiasts and photographers.
The jeep ride takes off beat riding of approximately 4 hours including to and fro. Then, one has to trek for at least 15 minutes depending on the weather conditions. Lifeguard Jackets are provided and it's a No plastic Zone. 🚫One has to give the exact count of Plastic bottles carried with them at the entrance itself.
It's just heaven for good swimmers and also a small changing room is present there.

The water is pretty cold and does feel great while swimming. There are tadpoles to medium sized fishers and they do bite (little).
Many people will come onto roads and stop you to park your vehicle near their place (for 100rs) and ask you to get the token saying they already have few passengers (need 7 for a safari) plz don't take any forehand, near the token counter itself ull get parking as well as the safari drivers.
Harvalem Waterfall, also called Arvalem Falls, is a picturesque waterfall situated in the village of Arvalem in northern Goa. It offers a tranquil escape for those who appreciate waterfalls and wish to spend time surrounded by lush forests. Although it may not be as spectacular as the Dudhsagar waterfall, Harvalem still attracts numerous tourists due to its secluded location and privacy.
Goa isn’t all about beaches.
The place is one of the most easily accessible Waterfalls in and around North Goa.
It’s about an hour and a half ride from Anjuna. The roads are very beautiful. And for all those who don’t wanna trek a lot, this place is just a few stairs down. So no need to trek. It is next to a Temple and the waterfall is with a reservoir cum Dam. The waterfall though not the highest, indeed looks very pretty. And it is a must for your North Goa itinerary.
There are places to eat nearby too.

Harvalem waterfalls is one of those majestic waterfalls of Goa and has its own charm and beauty next only to Dudhsagar waterfalls. Even now in the month of february there is a steady flow of water. And the place looks magical. There is a temple next to the which is being renovated. The steps which lead to the waterfall need to be renovated as well. These area needs well designed benches and toilet facilities .Facilities for the differently abled will definitely be a plus point. One of the few waterfalls that have water throughout the year. Excellent location it's in North Goa, there is a temple located at the base. You need to walk down stairs. Will look very beautiful in monsoon. Would recommend for offbeat Goa.

Witnessing the majestic beauty of a waterfall is a timeless experience that captivates us with its joyful gush and graceful descent off the cliff. The allure intensifies when the waterfall is nestled among lush green slopes, surrounded by forests, and forms a tempting lake for refreshing dips. In recent times, this area gained notoriety as the settlement for Rajput mercenaries, known as 'Ranes,' by the British in 1700, leading to a revolt in the 19th century.
The Arvalem waterfall, situated in picturesque surroundings, features the Rudreshwar temple nearby, significant for Hindu rituals related to the soul's release after death. Rock-cut caves are also close by. A popular tourist spot in Goa, the waterfall has a government-developed park for visitors to relax and appreciate its beauty.

Hidden deep within the lush forests of Dandeli, Syntheri Rocks is a natural wonder that is sure to amaze and enchant visitors of all ages. This towering rock formation, carved by the relentless forces of nature over millennia, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
As I made my way down the winding path towards the rocks, the anticipation grew. The air was filled with the sounds of the forest, and the sunlight filtered through the canopy of trees, creating a dappled effect on the ground.
Upon reaching the base of the rocks, I was awestruck by their sheer size and grandeur. The sheer vertical rock face towered above me, its smooth surface reflecting the sunlight in a mesmerizing way. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I stood before this natural masterpiece.
As I climbed the steps leading up to the viewing platform, I was rewarded with even more stunning views. The lush greenery of the forest stretched as far as the eye could see, dotted with glimpses of the Kali River winding its way through the valley. The air was fresh and invigorating, and I could feel the stress of everyday life melting away.

Entry fee 50/- per person. Before reaching the destination you have to do little off-roading with narrow roads. Good parking space available for car's and bike's. You need to walk down a lot of steps to reach to the rocks. One local shop you will find on the way, also washroom facility is there, however cleanliness is not maintained. After reaching the destination you will be amazed to see the beauty of the nature. Best place for photography. Make sure you don't go beyond the safe zone area, guards are present for people's safety. This place is something worth going and enjoying your time.

This is one of the best place to visit if you're travelling to Goa via Dandeli. You need to go inside tiger kali reserve to view this place hence timing restriction applies for visiting this place. This place offers spectacular view and take some good shots. Earlier people are allowed to watch near the stream but due to unforeseen incident now they've closed that route and you can enjoy the view from a distance. This place provides details about the rocks ,sediments and their uses. There is only one small shop available to buy snacks and water. The entry charges applicable for this place. You have to test your fitness while returning to the parking point as the steps are inclined and difficult to catch breath but you are provided with benches to sit and catch your breath. Good for visiting this place once.

Not worth the hype, there isn't much to witness. Still it is one of the beautiful place near dandeli and a must visit to complete the tour. The thing about dandeli trip are the roads anyway. And the drive upto the spot is both beautiful and adventurous.

Beautiful place to visit if you are a nature enthusiastic.
Beautiful and scenic, right in middle of dense forest.
Old rocks make you realise how old earth could be.
There is no proper tarmac road leading to the rocks, it's just a way formed by vehicles going through.
No swimming/bathing advisable given the nature of the rocks, highly dangerous, if done.
Climb down to the fall is easy, not the other way, as it is quite high.

A soothing, peaceful place with water in every season. The water is green and epic beauty.
You would have to walk down 320 stairs to reach the water.
The place is filled with tall green trees everywhere and so the wind keeps flowing.

Nice place. Make sure to carry the cash. We visited while coming back to Hyderabad. But getting down into water is at our own risk and which is not at all advised.

It's a nice place but i would suggest to visit this place only when the flow of the river is more but one thing i noticed is there is a board in which it is clearly written to not to go very close to the river and they have restricted the bank also with ropes for people to know that they should not go beyond that point but Indians if start following rules it will be a insult to India only right. People crosses those boundaries and go in the river just for the sake of clicking photos and risking lifes. Don't do it guys. It's a nice place don't ruin it's beauty. People littering near river really breaked my heart.

Nice rocks near Dandeli, hidden view point in between green forest surroundings near Dandeli. Maps shows incorrect pointer, but the main gate is on the main road. There are around 200 steps from the parking to reach the rocks.

“A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence."...

Exploring Karnataka....at Dandeli...... The famous monolithic granite.....Syntheri Rock.....
At a distance of 31 km from Dandeli and 16 km from Ulavi, Syntheri Rock is monolithic granite structure with a height of 300 feet, which is located in the dense forests of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the top Dandeli tourist places to visit.
Syntheri Rock is a huge, massive limestone rock formed due to volcanic eruptions some million years ago. It is named after an English lady called Ms. Cinthera who is believed to have discovered this place in 20th century. River Kaneri passes along the side of this rock. Owing to the flow of the river from the vicinity, erosion has resulted in the rocks getting hollowed. The corners of this rock cave are inhabited by numerous pigeons and honeybees.
Entry to the venue is controlled by forest department. The site can be reached either by jeep or by walk through the dense forest from the entrance. At the entrance visitors need to pay nominal entry fee and vehicles can go up to the parking area from where visitors need to climb down to reach the base.
There is a 15-20 minute walk from the vehicle parking to the rock. A flight of 200 odd steps downwards lead you to the base. The steps are very steep and various types of rocks found in the forest are displayed along the steps.

A must visit place if you're in Dandeli.
You can park your car in Syntheri Rocks Hebbagilu.
From there you can either choose to walk from the entrance for around 10-15 mins or take your vehicle. There's an entry fee.
Second part of the journey you'll have to go by walk where you might have to walk around 200 steps which is quite slippery during Rainy season, so be careful and hold onto guard rails.
Once you climb down the steps you can view the rock formation and water gushing.

Located in kali tiger reserve thick forest, take dandeli to ulavi road after some distance you can see the entrance to side of the road, from this road there will be mud road for about 4km, just enjoy the nature around then go down using steps, this syntheri rock is about 300 feet tall grooves created by river water, don't get down to water enjoy the place. you have to pay entry fee and parking fees ₹50 for adults. Visit this place if you are coming to dandeli.
Mandrem is an upmarket destination in northern Goa, renowned for its two serene beaches that offer a secluded setting to visitors. The area is home to various yoga retreats, resort hotels, and tucked-away cafes that attract tourists looking for tranquility. Ashwem Beach features indie boutiques selling designer fashion and jewelry while Mandrem Beach provides high-end accommodation options.
Ashwem Beach is a sandy beach located south of Arambol Beach in Goa. It is less crowded than other beaches in the state and peaceful with clear waters. The ambiance at Morjim Beach will sooth any travel fatigue.
This is one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches of North Goa. It has a great balance of beachfront resorts, views, and good vibes. 💙

Ashlee beach is definitely like a private beach, very clean, a very good place to relax and chill. This beach is very less crowded and can find families most of the times. This beach has constant life guards patrolling. The seven art was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk. This safe for kids to place in sand.

This could be a wonderful place but unfortunately neither the local authorities nor the hotels on the beach (that make lots of money from being located there) take care of the beach, especially in low season. There is trash everywhere and leftover oil from fishing boats is poured into the rivers that flow into the ocean and kills anything living there.
It's incredibly sad to see that no one seems to care. Tourism is the main income for the area, but eventually people will be deterred from coming as Goa is turning into an ecological disaster..

Ashvem Beach in Goa offers a picturesque escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The golden sands stretch out before you, kissed by the gentle waves of the Arabian Sea. It's a place where you can truly unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the coastline.
However, my experience was somewhat tarnished by the amount of litter scattered across the beach. Despite efforts to keep it clean, there's still a noticeable amount of garbage, which detracts from the otherwise serene ambiance.
Another issue that needs addressing is the presence of stray dogs. While some may find them charming, their numbers can be overwhelming, especially if you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax without interruption.
Krishnakumar KP — Google review
Ashvem beach lies in between two of the most crowded beaches in North Goa namely Mandrem and Arambol. But unlike its neighbors, Ashvem receives comparatively very less footfall and hence it is a very peaceful beach to visit. Away from the noisy Goa, Ashvem offers peace and is easily accessible by roads. Clean surroundings, flat seabed and firm sand is what makes it suitable for a quick dip. It could get windy at times but it surely is a must visit if you are on the North side of Goa. Food and drinking options on the beach are limited and a bit on the expensive side. No public restrooms but the restaurants here allow tourists to access their washrooms if required. Overall it’s a very nice and cozy beach with a very peaceful vibe to it.

It's a very beautiful beach and also a nesting site for the olive Ridley turtle. It's a humble request to everyone who visits this place, to not litter 🚮 and keep the beach clean. Please take your trash with you. The beach also has a lot of stray dogs, who can be spotted taking dips in the ocean. There are a lot of places to stay around the beach if you wish to spend a few days there.

One of the best beaches to visit as it is very lively and it's pretty well maintained. The beach and water here is real attractive with all kinds of water sports. Do not ever take any combo as they just give you small rides and there is no value for money. People are everywhere ready to make a fool of you. Choose the right ride and take it individual as it's value for money.

Baga Beach, located in vibrant North Goa, offers a lively atmosphere and stunning sunset views. Renowned for its exciting water sports activities, the beach presents a dynamic experience. However, the downside includes overcrowding, leading to cleanliness issues, and a lack of beach amenities for optimal enjoyment. Additionally, certain areas restricted for water sports can limit the overall beach experience.

During my stay we had early morning walks at 5:30 AM to Baga Beach. The sun barely peeking over the horizon, casting an orange glow. The sand, cool and damp under bare feet. Cleanliness here is good to average depending on time. Breathtaking view of the ocean with boats at distant. We built sandcastles hearing the sound symphony of ocean waves and birds chirping. Ambience so mesmerizing giving peace and bliss like meditation. At Night it is chaotic with DJ sounds and Nightlife lights. At night you would be asked every now and then for Bars, Tatoo or Hookah here by waiters and agents. If you want to truly experience this beach just lace up shoes in early morning when it is still dark. It was a soul rejuvenating experience for me in early morning.
