The serene ambiance and picturesque surroundings of Shri Vighnesh - Ganpathi Temple in Adasa offer a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While the stunning views are truly captivating, accessibility might pose a challenge for the elderly and disabled individuals due to the presence of stairs. However, the temple's provision of ample paid parking and nearby shops add convenience and enhance the overall visit experience for all visitors.
Additionally parking charges are taken 10rs per vehicle

Temple is merely 40 Kms from Nagpur and has distinctive road approaches either from Patansaongi or from Kalmeshwar. Importantly the roads are being developing and one must go slow as this could led to an severe accident. There are also some areas where poor light is there no proper street lights and can cause accidents. Otherwise a nice, neat and tidy temple premises where thousands of devotees travel to come visit to this temple.

If you want to travel nearby nagpur city then adasa genesh temple is the place where you can visit and refresh your day with good vibes. It is situated 30 km from nagpur and it was really worth to visit.
This place has quite big area includes main deity i.e. Ganesh temple , Mahadev temple , kalbhairav temple and jyotirlings , Hanuman temple and amost of all demigods are there.
This place is on little uphills and you will get serene view from the temple however it is quite good view in cloudy wheather.
This place has restaurent where you will get all types of snacks however besides that little playground and garden is there for children's and can capture good photos in greeneries and small waterfall.
After visiting and while going towards home you will get to know small eateries just right to temple and that was really awesome. You will get there Zunka , bhakar , mango pickle ,Green chilli ठेचा , raw pickle , Masalebhat and kadhi . It was tastes really good with reasonable prices.

We have visited this place last week but got pathetic breakfast, some what burn and non hygiene. Lunch was actually worst than breakfast. You have to procure water every single time. In summer this is extreme torture. Pools are dirty, Spirogyra was spreading every where. They charging 1200 rupees to everyone but giving zero service. Pools should be improve urgently, Amusement park was good. If we spending money for service we should get it in reply. Owner can listen and reply to my query.
Dr. Amit Nagare — Google review
This is a good place to visit one time with friends and family. The water park starts at 10 A.M. the parking ticket cost 50rs and the park ticket price is 700rs per head. Which includes breakfast and lunch as well. You'll have to submit one mobile phone at the check-in counter to get entry. Once entered you can rent a locker which can cost 250rs for a large one and 150rs for a small one. You can also rent a swimming costume in case you forget yours at home. The wave pool starts at around 3 followed by lunch (unlimited food). Once you are done with the water park you can head towards the amusement park which has a few cool options to hop on (no extra charges) and the park closes at around 6 pm.
Even tho i didn't stay there till 6 as i had other plans for the day. But we really enjoyed the water slides and wave pool.

Having a huge 2-4 wheeler parking..
Big slides, wave pool, lavish green area threre…
Amusement park also there to enjoy rides etc.
need to improvements in breakfast , lunch menu . Teste are not up to mark expect dinner ( due to less visitors )
We have plan for 2 days take 3 room to stay there.. but communication on call is differ from actual.. @ time of call they are agree to give extra metress but ones u reach the place they take U turn from there commitment…also facing the toilet sink chocking issue…
Overall is good after improving food & tea quality & teste…
Best to carry your own synthetic costumes for swimming & water activities to save extra cost for swimming costumes.
Having a small pools for kids which is nice…
Also need to improvements in wave pool … the waves is very slow…doesn’t like actual waves…
Some rides & boat pool is found out of service…

I visit here on 29 mar 2022. Tickets rate is 1199 for male adult, it's worst ever water park visited. Only two water coster are available and remaning are closed. Water quality is very bad water turned green, no traces of chlorination in water. No greenary at all only plastic grass. By rule there must be provision of drinking water at public gathering places but not a single water tap available. Looting people with least price of 100 for just short. Only one pool of 5 feet deep is the one you can use that's it all. Food included in 1199 but quality is just above bad.
Ravi Khandare — Google review
The place is fabulous in terms of slides, spaces, amusement park activities and the pools. However The costs of tickets do not justify the facilities they provide, especially the food is very poor in taste and quality is below par. Also, the timing for the wave pools is very short. They need to improve their food quality and other stuff.
Lalit Katre — Google review
#mini theme park
#enjoyable for childrens and families
#ticket price - Rs. 999 (for male), Rs. 899 (for female), Rs. 699 (for children)
#rented dresses and locker rooms available
#few food items like thalli (Rs. 150), noodles and water bottle (Rs.10) available inside
#parking fee for bike Rs.30 (no time limit)
👎
#all slides and rides are not currently working
#entry price is higher and not worthy
#as usual chlorine is more in water and some water are old and stagnant
#maintenance is little poor and not neat
#no discounts for students as provided in other theme parks
#synthetic dresses are not a must

The best water park around Nagpur. Don’t get fooled by Dwarka or any low budget park where they call school picnics but shut off the pools. Even though the price is a bit expensive, you’ll love the time you spend here. The giant blue waters, long enthralling slides, delightful amusement parks and rides all makes this place the best water park around Nagpur.

Beautiful place for fun and enjoy the all day it's crazy when u have family and friends not only water park but also amusement park is very best.
shaikh rehan — Google review
It was a very bad experience, they were charging for everything ( like water park + food + amusement park ).
The food is very very poor it is not worth even 50 rupees.
No proper ride , they have weight limit on many ride .
They opened the amusement park only after 4pm when the water park is closed. You can't go to the amusement park if you have to come back to Nagpur by public transport.
I highly recommend not to come for this .
Neeraj Kumar Meena — Google review
Food is not good. It's below normal. Water not clean at all. Unhygienic place. Only for kids below 16 ... Adults would just waste money. Short pools.. kids would enjoy.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fun & Food Village, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations as a perfect destination for a day of fun, frolic, and delicious food. This waterpark is truly a paradise for families and friends seeking an enjoyable escape from the summer heat.
As soon as I entered Fun & Food Village, I was captivated by the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The park's well-maintained grounds, lush greenery, and colorful decorations created a cheerful ambiance that immediately put me in a joyful mood. The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which further added to the positive experience.
The water attractions at Fun & Food Village were simply fantastic. The park boasted an impressive array of slides, rides, and pools suitable for visitors of all ages. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie craving thrilling water slides or someone who prefers a more relaxed experience in the wave pool, there was something for everyone. The variety of rides ensured that no one in my group ever felt bored or unengaged.
One of the highlights of Fun & Food Village was its emphasis on safety. I noticed that the park maintained strict safety standards and ensured that all rides were well-maintained and regularly inspected. The lifeguards were attentive, vigilant, and always ready to jump into action if needed, which provided a sense of security for everyone, especially parents with young children.
Another aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness of the park. Despite being a popular attraction, the management made sure that the premises were spotless. The restrooms were regularly cleaned, and there were plenty of bins strategically placed around the park to maintain cleanliness. This attention to detail enhanced the overall experience and made the visit all the more enjoyable.
sahil — Google review
The place is amazing. Entry fee is 900 per head and 1200 for combo of water world and fun world. Locker and costumes are free and well maintained. We can deposit our valuable items separately. It's a good place for family and friends. The slides are amazing. I'd highly recommend it.
Nitin Sen — Google review
The park is a popular destination for families and groups looking to spend a fun-filled day out.
The park offers a range of thrilling rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. Some of the popular rides include a roller coaster, a giant wheel, a bumper car ride, and a 360-degree swing ride. There is also a range of water slides and pools for visitors to cool off on hot days.
Apart from the rides and attractions, the park also has several food stalls and restaurants serving a range of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, and fast food.
One 🌟 minus for food quality. The food they serve are not good. Though they charge for food but quality of food is even less than local Mess.

The reservoir, Khekra Nala Dam, is a fantastic location to spend a weekend with loved ones. It offers ample opportunities for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of nature. The dam itself is quite large and impressive, and there is also a spillway nearby. Additionally, visitors can explore the Sai mandir located beside the dam. Resorts in close proximity make it convenient for those wanting to stay overnight or visit the Pench tiger reserve gate.
Great place for a weekend hangout with friends and family. Huge dam, a resort which is closed.
Parking charges- Rs 40 for 4 Wheeler
Rs 20 for 2 wheelers.
No entry charges.
Best time to visit- During monsoons. It's just awesome, lush green during monsoons.

Best in scenic view but there is nothing more to do only there is a resort and 2 restaurant nearby and a dam .Overall you will feel like heaven while riding here ❤️
Naman Singh — Google review
The way to this place is beautiful, however as you reach the destination there is not much to do, no particular activities or things to do. It's a very casual place for either taking a walk or jog. You can see good view from a high above point and click great pictures of nature.
There is a rocky hill to climb, through the forest, a great place for a casual treak.
However there is no place to sit, insufficient parking space and very narrow roads. It's difficult to navigate at night as there are no street lights whatsoever.
You will find ducks, chickens, wild pigs and some wild scorpions around.
There is a restaurant at the beginning of the track to refill and freshen up.

Shri Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga is a Hindu temple in Madhya Pradesh dedicated to the worship of Shiva. It boasts centuries-old pagodas adorned with intricately carved statues and mantras. The temple's Strota includes Omkareswar and Mamleswar, which together form the sacred phrase "Omkar Mamleswar". A visit to both temples is considered incomplete without seeing Mamaleswar at the south bank of Narbada river.
Strota of Jyotirlinga includes Omkareswar & Mamleswar as mentioned like “Omkar Mamleswar”. Without darshan of Mamaleswar at the south bank of Narbada river is said to be not complete the darshan of Omkareswar Jyotirlinga at the northern bank of Narbada. Temple was beautifully built in tenth century. Stone craftsmanship looked great. No tickets were required to go in. Not much crowd. People offered milk & Bel Patra to Shivaji. Outside ambience was good & peaceful. Stone art works looked wonderful. A must visit temple while visiting Omkareswar Jyotirlinga at Madhya Pradesh

This is one of the Jyotirlinga temple and as per thoughts, devotees need to visit this temple after the visit of Omkareshwar temple.
Devotees are blessed by lord Mamleshwar Shiv Ji here.
Temple is very ancient and it's is in same condition since it's constructed.
On the way from Omkareshwar to Mamleshwar lots of small small shops with options of tea, snacks, cutlery items are located.
Also shops with poojan samagri, different sizes of lord narmadeshwar Shiv linga are also located on this way.

At a distance of 1 km from Omkareshwar Bus Station, Mamleshwar Temple is a sacred Hindu temple located in the holy town of Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. Situated right opposite the Omkareshwar temple on the southern bank of the Narmada River, it is one of the popular temples in Omkareshwar.
There are two main temples of Shiva here, one to Omkareshwar (whose name means "Lord of Omkara or the Lord of the Om sound") located in the island and the other one Mamleshwar (Amaleshwar) (whose name means "Immortal Lord" or "lord of the Immortals or Devas") located on the southern bank of the Narmada River on the mainland.

After visiting Shri Omkareshwar temple, we visited this shrine, just about a 10-minute walk, across the bridge over Narmada. It was a blissful experience to visit this beautiful temple, with beautiful stone sculptures.

I made my way to Omkareshwar from Indore. I stayed at the Temple View Hotel, which is an MPTC property. The meal is nice and the hotel rooms are clean. The hotel's deluxe rooms offer the greatest views. The hotel has a complete view of the Narmada River and the temple and is situated across from the ghat. The temples of Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar are stunning. It's an ancient temple with its original construction. The location was packed because I visited during Mahashivratri, yet the electricity in the air captivated me.Mamleshwar temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, India. The temple is located at a walking distance from the Omkareshwar temple. You can do the darshan on your own, but it is advisable to hire a pandit. The pandit will help you with the rituals and make sure that you have a smooth visit. You can offer flowers, water, and even touch the idol. The temple is relatively less crowded, but it depends on what time of the day you are visiting.

Sri Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga is on the opposite side of Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple. Both the temples are facing each other. Beautiful Narmada river flows in between these two temples. Do not use boats here - they are so much polluting. Do not fall into the trap of local priests who are just money minded business people.

Omkareshwar (IAST: Ōṃkārēśvar) is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located in Mandhata, nearby Khandwa city in Khandwa district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. centuries ago the Bhil tribe settled people on this place and now this place is famous for its grandeur and history.[1] It is on an island called Mandhata, near Khandwa city in the Narmada river at Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh, India; the shape of the island is said to be like the Devanagari ॐ symbol.
As per Shiv Mahapuran, once Brahma (the Hindu God of creation) and Vishnu (the Hindu God of Protection and Care) had an argument in terms of supremacy of creation. To test them, Shiva pierced the three worlds as a huge endless pillar of light, the jyotirlinga. Vishnu and Brahma split their ways to downwards and upwards respectively to find the end of the light in either directions. Brahma lied that he found out the end, while Vishnu conceded his defeat. Shiva appeared as the second pillar of light and cursed Brahma that he would have no place in ceremonies while Vishnu would be worshipped until the end of eternity. The jyotirlinga is the supreme partless reality, out of which Shiva partly appears. The jyothirlinga shrines, thus are places where Shiva appeared as a fiery column of light. Originally there were believed to be 64 jyothirlingas while 12 of them are considered to be very auspicious and holy. Each of the twelve jyothirlinga sites take the name of the presiding deity – each considered different manifestation of Shiva. At all these sites, the primary image is lingam representing the beginningless and endless Stambha pillar, symbolizing the infinite nature of Shiva.
The twelve jyothirlingas are Somnath in Gujarat, Mallikarjuna at Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh, Mahakaleswar at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Omkareshwar in Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh, Kedarnath in Himalayas, in Uttrakhand state, Bhimashankar in Maharashtra, Viswanath at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Triambakeshwar near Nashik in Maharashtra, Vaidyanath Temple, Vaidyanath in Jharkhand, Nageshwar at Dwarika in Gujarat, Rameshwar at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu and Grishneshwar near Aurangabad, Maharashtra in Maharashtra.
It is situated in the Mandhata city (also known as Omkareshwar) in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh state in India. It is about 16 km from Barwaha in Madhya Pradesh. Omkareshwar is formed by the sacred river Narmada. This is one of the most sacred rivers in India and is now home to one of the world's biggest dam projects. The temple is situated on Mandhata or Shivpuri island on the banks of Narmada and river Kaveri (a tributary of Narmada). The island is 4 KM long and 2.6 km2 (2,600,000 m2) in area and can be approached by boats and bridge. Thank you for reading ❤️

Often referred as the 4th jyotirling. Combination of Omkareswar and Mamleshwar, makes it the complete one jyotirling. As compared to Omkareshwar, it is very less crowded and you can get the darshan in not more than 60 mins. But definitely if you are going Omkareshwar, then you must go there. Har Har Mahadev. Om Namah Shivaay.

There are two jyotirlinga in omkareshwar and this is another one. There is a saying that to complete the darshan you need to take blessings from both the jyotirlinga. When we visited there was a normal rush and it took around 15 min approx to complete the darshan. Om namah shivay.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva built in Nagar Style. This temple is testimony to the architectural skills of the Maratha workmen who constructed this temple on the bank of Narmada River. It took 34 years to build this temple and at a cost of 1.5 crore Indian rupees. at that time it was huge cost. This temple is visible from long distance due to its strategic location.
Eventhough this temple is dedicated lord shiva, Pillars have statues of Dashavatar of Vishnu starting Matya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Budha and Kalki Avatara's. There is beautiful and pleasant Rama temple inside this temple surroundings.

It is situated near Narmada Ghat and is one of the most beautiful examples of simple yet grand architecture of the former Maratha builders. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built during the regime of Ahilyabai Holkar. You should explore the nooks and corners of the temple to find out some really beautiful spots and the view of Narmada river.

The Rajwada Palace is a seven story building from the Holker dynasty with influences from Muslim, French and Maratha architecture. It is located in the heart of Indore and is a popular tourist destination for couples who want to experience the beauty of old India. The palace is decorated with statuettes and temple music, making it a picturesque place to visit.
I visited this place in Dec'21, and most of the palace including the front facing 7-story building is under renovation. Only one part of the palace which has museum and a temple is open for tourists. You would love to see what in there for us. A must visit place to know more about Holkar dynasty.

If you talk about Indore city…
One of its most iconic landmarks is the Rajwada Palace, a magnificent structure that stands as a testament to the city’s royal past.
The Rajwada Palace, also known as Holkar Palace, was built by the Holkar dynasty rulers in the 18th century.
The exterior of the palace is adorned with intricately carved wooden balconies, lattice work, and ornate arches. The seven-story structure stands tall, with each level representing a different architectural style. The lower floors are made of stone, while the upper floors are built with wood.
The palace also houses a museum that showcases artifacts, paintings, and sculptures from the Holkar era. Visitors can explore the royal costumes, weapons, and vintage photographs that provide insights into the lives of the erstwhile rulers.
Most important-
The Rajwada Palace is not just a historical monument; it is a living heritage. It hosts cultural events, music concerts, and exhibitions, keeping the legacy alive.
The surrounding gardens and courtyards offer a peaceful retreat, where visitors can relax and soak in the regal ambiance.

Kanch Mandir(Temple of Mirrors)is one of the important tourist attractions in Indore city. The whole temple's interior is intricately jeweled with all types of glass. One may find it hard to find the plaster or brickwork cause every inch of the interior is ornamented with glass. Since it is a Jain temple, it is open to tourists(other religions) after 10:30 am. There are uncountable murals on the walls depicting stories and mythology of deities. The staff here come forward to help tourists know the history and the meaning of murals. On the first floor, there's a meditation space and three idols of Mahaveer when if seen from sideways will appear 24 times in the mirror placed on both sides of the closed encampment.

As the name suggests, Kanch Mandir is a Jain temple made entirely out of glass and mirrors. It is unlike any other tourist attraction you will find in Indore. An actual place of worship for the Jains, the Kanch Mandir is hailed for its exquisitely designed walls, ceilings, floors, pillars, and doors - all of which are made of glass.
The Chinese glass lamps and cut glass chandeliers are simply alluring. Don't forget to check out the idol of Lord Mahavira made of black onyx and decorated with multicolored glass beads. Sparkling Brilliance: The very essence of the temple lies in its extensive use of colored glass. The walls, ceilings, and pillars shimmer with mosaics, depicting religious scenes, floral patterns, and geometric designs. Light dancing off the glass creates a kaleidoscopic effect, leaving visitors awestruck by its sheer beauty.
Beyond the Bling: While the glass might be the first to grab attention, the temple's architectural details are equally impressive. Exquisite marble carvings, intricate stonework, and delicately painted ceilings blend seamlessly with the glass, showcasing masterful craftsmanship.
Serene Sanctuary: Despite its opulence, Kanch Mandir exudes a sense of calmness. The soft glow of the glass, the chanting of hymns, and the gentle murmur of fountains create a peaceful atmosphere perfect for introspection and prayer.
Spiritual Gems: Dedicated to Jainism, the temple houses several holy statues, including a magnificent black onyx idol of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara. Smaller shrines dedicated to other Jain figures offer additional spaces for reverence.

Roopmati Pavilion, a palace with a romantic history, was built by Baz Bahadur for his beloved Roopmati. It offers stunning views of the Narmada River and is part of the ancient rock-cut architecture dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries. Originally an army observation post, it later became Roopmati's residence. The palace is meticulously maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, adding to its charm.

Like the Baz Bahadur Palace the Roopmati Pavilion also predates Baz Bahadur. Going by its strategic location on a hill top at the very southern end of the plateau, it is quiet likely it servea as a military outpost keeping an eye on invading armies. It was later converted into a pleasure house by Baz Bahadur for his favourite lover Roopmati, who is to graze at the Narmada from the pavilion. The pavilion consists of two structure built at different level. The base of the upper structure coincides with the top of the lower structure and thus providing a double storied appearance. The overall structure is
U - shaped with a with a neatly maintained garden in the middle. The Roppmati's Pavilion contains massive arched passages complete with water channels to keep the palace cool from the scorching heat of Mandu. The terrace provides great views of the Nimar plains stretching all the way to the Narmada River. Like the Baz Bahadur's Palace the terrace contains two domed pavilions. It was probably from here Roopmati watched the Narmada flow and refused to eat, when the river was not visible.

One of the many great places to see in Mandu . This was earlier built as a Army observation post . Built of sandstone - Rani Roopmati lived at this palace later. She used to have an avid interest in singing and worshipped Maa Narmada . The river Narmada could be seen from the top as a stream on a clear day.
Cleanliness is kept at every inch of the palace. Surrounding Greenery is what gives this palace its charm.
Fact - This palace strategically separates Nimar and Malwa Plateau .

This place is awesome ❤️, if you are fan of " taji taji hawa" you should visit it . This pavallian is built for Rani roopmati so that she can see and mismerise the beuty of holy narmda river which is 15 Km away (approx ) from here , but the pavallian is built at very high altitude so that Rani can easily see narmda maaiya , also there is a garden 🏡 to spent time in for rani , and one more historical thing here is "juhari khana" when Raja Baaj bahadur is dead in the war of sarangpur all the ladies including rani roopmati of the state has committed suicide by burning their ownself alive in this juharikhana. But it is built very unique and if you visit in morning 🌻 , you will find lots of flowers and 🐦 birds whispering , ☮️ peace 🕊️

The drive is slightly challenging for visitors from out of state not used to the unruly traffic in this entire district. Parking is ample but its management is atrocious. My vehicle was blocked by a very smart person when I came back from the monument. Many many others were as well. Never seen such bad traffic sense, unruly driving and parking sense in 20 Indian states that I have visited. Deducted 1 point from the review due to this experience that needs to improve.

Constructed during the 15th century under the rule of Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din Khilji, this palace is renowned for its unique design that gives it the appearance of a floating ship between two artificial lakes. The name "Jahaz Mahal" reflects this distinctive feature.
Peaceful and calm place. This place will boost your creativity. I went there with my family. I loved the place immediately, enjoyed photography. It is well maintained and really good for photo shoot. Jahaj Mahal got its name because it looks like a ship. They claim that the palace is actually surrounded by water and takes on the appearance of a ship during periods of severe rain when the nearby water bodies begin to overflow. It's a beautiful piece of architecture and demands your attention.
Monsoon season made it appear much more lovely. The ideal time to view this gem in Mandu is between august and September.

One of the best place to visit in Mandu. Its luxurious palace built in shape of ship and surrounded by lakes. Also known as Ship that Never Sailed. The entire premise is maintained in good conditions. Plenty of car parking available at distance of 500 meters. The walk from the parking to palace is worth while enjoy delicious local food and fruits being sold by street vendors. Enjoy the structural beauty and landscape.

Jahaj Mahal resembles a ship, hence the name. They also say that during heavy rain, when the water bodies around start overflowing the palace actually gets surrounded by water and looks like a ship. It's a fine piece if architecture and definitely deserves your time.
It looked even more beautiful during the monsoon. Probably the best time to be in Mandu and see this beauty.

Jahaz Mahal in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh, India, is like a time machine. It's an old and beautiful building surrounded by calm and peaceful nature. It's a great place for people who love history and for those who like to explore.
This building looks like a ship, and it was built with amazing skill a long time ago. If you enjoy taking pictures, this place is perfect for you. There are many interesting things to see inside.
You can take a relaxed walk in the big open area and enjoy the beauty of the building. You can also explore the different rooms, outdoor spaces, and ponds. It's like stepping into the past.
But some things could be better, like how they take care of the place and the signs that tell you about it. Even so, Jahaz Mahal is an important historical site that you should visit. Don't forget to take pictures and learn about Mandu's history.

An architectural wonder standing similar to a ship in the middle of two small lakes, however, the lakes are filled only during monsoon. The structure looks stunning and the views are great. A small ticket amount is levied to visit the place. A small museum is also situated inside the premises. The place is very clean and well maintained. Only difficult part is the walk to the monument from the parking area.

Lot of eating options of local food around the fort. However MP tourism properties are most recommended.

An architectural marvel, and probably one of the best maintained archeological heritage sites in India, with a beautiful manicured garden in its front. With water bodies on two sides, it presumably gives the look of an anchored ship and thus named Jahaz (ship) Mahal.
Jahaz Mahal is one of the most prominent and beautiful part of the entire cluster of historical monuments in Mandu. This stunningly beautiful monument deserves a place in the list of world heritage sites.
It's a two storeyed building, and we got an excellent view from the rooftop. There are approximately 35 steps (wide with reasonable height) to reach the rooftop. Both me and my wife are Sr. Citizens and could comfortably take the steps.

Limited parking available on side. Approach road is often blocked by vehicles parked in front of dhabas which include tractor and water tanker.
You can do nothing but wait for them to finish their job.
Ticket window is located on the right of the gate. On entry there's a museum on the right and guest rooms on top of it over looking the Kapoor taal.
Jahaz Mahal is on your left. From here you can over look the other lake. Little ahead ther are couple of Bawadis, Hindola Mahal, Shahi Hamam, the royal palace.
There's resting place under trees. Earlier it had a cafeteria but noe closed. You can eat your tiffin here.
Outside you have a few curio shops and Dhabas. Here you can get local delicacies. Dall Bafala/ Baati or Daal Paaniye (Bafala or Baati are made of wheat flour whereas Paniye are made of Maize flour and heavy). You can indulge in pleasure 😊

Sunrise - sunset. The 110-m-long and 15-m-broad double-storeyed building is located on a narrow strip of land between the Munj Talao and Kapur Talao, giving the appearance of a ship in water. probably built by Sultan Ghiyathuddin Khalji in the later part of the 15th century. It served as a large harem for the sultan and accommodated a staggering 15,000 women. Later it also served as the residence of Noor Jahan, the favourite queen of Mughal Emperor Jahangir. The southern end of the double - storied building has a stairs leading directly to the terrace. The northern end of the terrace contains a swimming pool of floral design there is a similar pool just below it on the first floor. The terrace has two domed pavilion on the southern and northern end of the long Jahaz Mahal. The northern pavilion is not at the very end of the terrace but just south of the swimming pool.
The Hindola Mahal, located in Mandu, is a part of a ruined palace complex that served as a historic meeting place. It features ogee arches and a large main hall. The palace was built alongside Jahaz Mahal to showcase the engineering excellence of ancient times, with underground wells making it even more elaborate.

Adjoining the famous Jahaj Mahal, Hindola Mahal forms Parrt of the heritage royal buildings complex in Mandu. This historical building has slanting outer walls at an angle of 77° and thus it presumably gives the look of a swing. Frankly I could not visualize it as a swing. That apart, the building looks beautiful. There are other buildings. The surrounding are very well maintained.
Adjascent to Hindola Mahal, there are other smaller monuments worth seeing.

Hindola Mahal – meaning Swing palace is so named due to its sloping side walls. The Hindola Mahal might have been constructed during the reign of Hushang Shah about 1425 C.E. but may date to the end of the 15th century during the reign of Ghiyas al-Din. It is one of a set buildings making up the royal palace complex at Mandu, which consists of the Jahaz Mahal, the Hindola Mahal, the Taveli Mahal, and the Nahar Jharokha. The Hindola Mahal may have been used as an audience chamber. The plan of the Hindola Mahal is a T-shape, though examination of the exterior walls leads to the conclusion that the crossbar was added later. The vertical mast of the plan consists of one main hall measuring 30 by 18 metres (98 by 59 feet) and 12 metres (39 feet) high. Its lateral walls are 3 metres (9.8 feet) thick and further reinforced by massive inclined buttresses that angle over 77 degrees. These highly inclined buttresses give the Hindola Mahal (Swinging Palace) its name. They also neutralize the outward force of five massive arches that once supported the large flat roof of the main hall. On each exterior of the long sides of the main hall are six recessed arches which hold doors in their lower sections and three slabs of open-work stone windows to let in air and light. A high wall holds battlements on the roof of the building.

Hindola Mahal where hindola means swing. This mahal was built for swings during rainy seasons by mughals. It is located inside jahaz mahal.
abhi chauhan — Google review
Hindola, meaning swing, named so because of the slant walls of the palace that resemble the swing shape. The story of how this Mahal had both Hindu and Muslim queens living together worshipping their respective deities in turns still runs. The fact that you can stand right where the cultural events were held, and can see the seatings of the royals felt surreal.

The entire fort complex within the Jahaj Mahal of mandu is steeped in history, it's not only absolutely stunning but also such an experience. Hindola Mahal is undergoing certain upkeep work and that's great, but the place itself is very beautiful, the architecture is to die for and the light and sound show at night is also projected here, such a great experience.

According to a Sanskrit inscription, Mandu was a 6th century fortified town, that was established as a fort capital in the 11th century by the Parmar rulers. This ancient city tells stories of a romance between Prince Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati and has several palaces, tombs, mosques, pavilions and rock-cut caves.

The whole complex of Mandu is so so rich and so beautiful. Every monuments has a story behind it on which it stands tested against the tide of centuries and different kings and their kingdom. After hearing the story and the purpose of the complex it's all worth it. Would recommend blindly to anyone to visit this place and feel the heritage first hand. Kudos to ASI again for the maintenance of the heritage so that the future can witness this beauty as it is.

Hindola Mahal is Artistic, Beautiful Unique Structure !
Hindola Mahal Built by Hushang Shah, probably around A.D. 1425 as a Durbar hall.
The walls are inordinately thick and slope like those of a castle. The slope of over 77 degrees gives a swinging appearance to the building, hence the name.
The plan is 'T' shaped. The upright stem being the main hall (which was built first), and the cross bar is a transverse portion added later.
The structure was probably supposed to have the zenana place as another storey above the main hall, which would explain the bulk and strength of the walls.

At a distance of 6 km from Ujjain Junction, Sandipani Ashram is a holy shrine located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Situated on the banks of the Kshipra River, it is one of the popular places to visit in Ujjain.
Sandipani Ashram is a holy shrine which is built in remembrance of the Maharishi Sandipani and is considered one of the famous tourist spots in Ujjain. According to mythology, it is believed that this is the ashram where Guru Sandipani used to teach Shri Krishna, his friend Sudama and Lord Krishna's brother Balram. Ashram now looks more like a temple and three idols of Krishna, Balram and Sudama are present along with that of Guru Sandipani. There is also a stone where numerals 1 to 100 found engraved and is believed to be done by guru Sandipani himself.
The ashram complex is huge and with vast stretches of land. There are a lot of shrines but obviously, the main shrine belongs to Guru Sandipani. One of the temples situated here, called Sarveshwar Mahadev, houses a 6000-year Shivlinga with Shesnaag is in its natural form, and is believed to be worshipped by Guru Sandipani and his disciples. Ashram also has a huge stepped tank called Gomati Kund, in which Lord Krishna summoned all the holy water from the holy centers so that Guru Sandipani finds it easier to get the holy water. The water of this pond is believed to be sacred and so, devotees fill their water bottles here and take the water home.

I visited this mandir on 23rd of june. At that time there is renovation work is going on. I visited this place while i was going to mahakaleshwar jyotirlinga. As per pundit this is the centre of India and this is the birth place of Mangal dev who is also known as mangla garah or mars planet. Mangal dosh can be removed by worshipping here. From main gat to front of the mandir is clean, but when you came from other side to front there is rocks and palette which can poke or hurt your foot. In mandir ther is 4 or 5 place of worship or say pundits are sitting, in which shiva linga, Mangal bhagwan, Hanuman bhagwan etc. Can be worshipped and on all places there is pandit who is mantra chanting while you go there. Outside it there is shops of parshad and flowers and other things. They have settings with auto drivers and auto drivers took you to them as they got there commissions for it. And they are selling things in basket set and they are not giving you one or 2 thing by saying no in this mandir all these things required. Aside of it there is river.

Initially I don't believe in traditional rituals, but later in life I realize the importance of such things. I got to know about this website during a google-search. It is a very informative website. Later, we contacted Pandit Vijay Bharti Ji, to discuss about the Kundli matching and Mangal Dosh Shanti Pujan. He also performed the Puja for us, and now we realize the effects of such pooja. Our life seems more shorted after that puja. Thus, to all non-believers, I would like to suggest that try our traditional rituals once from the right person, and see the difference by yourself.

Amazing place to go. Unique temple . So much happiness .. you got to get liquor for the god and pray. Post which you get to drink it or can give it to someone there . Since Kala Bhairava likes Liquor , we got to get one for him. It denotes that liquor will help us to fade away the issues we have in life.

If you are a religious person. Then this place is heaven for you. This place is a deadly combination of love devotion and culture. I really appreciate the efforts of the temple committee to manage all the things in such a beautiful way. I think morning time is suitable to visit the temple and admire the beauty.

Very small road to reach temple. No vehicle to reach Temple becoz small road and to much crowdy.
U can wall up to 1 km. But I am visiting in August so road is to much mudy. Millions of people visit but no development or service to people. Gov not interested to devlop it.
If u want offering Alcohol as a Prasad to kalbhairav God it's fix time after 9pm. English and desi both alcohol available in Temple region.
Cleaness is the major issues of this temple area.

I am from Chennai and used to temples of different kind and different practices. But I loved this place. This temple has very intense vibes and even amidst crowd I felt calm inside and out. In google it says 24 hours open but not so, they close at 10 pm. 9 pm is aarti time. It is crowded all through the year I heard. Shree Kaal Bhairav here is the protecting deity for Ujjain and Mahakaleshwar. Alcohol is one of the offerings here. It is sold outside the temple. There are many shops around the temple. Plenty of car parking. Few hours of waiting in the queue and chanting His name while standing in the line is not an issue for you, you will love the place and be charged up for sure.

Shree Kaal Bhairav Mandir is one of the famous temples of Ujjain which remain crowded most of the time! Large number of devotees can be seen but crowd management is poor and it is free for all. If wish, worship Kaal Bahrain with a bottle of liquor which can be bought from the market leading to temple!

Very intense and powerful temple.
There is a unique thing about this temple which is, devotees offer liquor to the idol. This felt very interesting and surprising.
There was very very long queue and so many people who have come to visit the temple. But line moved decently quick. Darshan took 1hr 30min.

The Kaal Bhairav Temple is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Bhairava, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. It is located in the city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. The temple is renowned for its association with the deity Kaal Bhairav, who is worshipped as the guardian of time.
Devotees believe that offering prayers at the Kaal Bhairav Temple can help mitigate the effects of unfavorable planetary influences and bring blessings for prosperity and protection. The temple is especially crowded on Sundays and during the festival of Kaal Bhairav Ashtami, which falls on the eighth day of the Krishna Paksha (waning phase of the moon) in the Hindu month of Margashirsha (November-December).
One notable feature of the temple is the practice of offering alcohol to Lord Bhairava as a part of worship, which is unique among Hindu temples. The belief is that offering liquor symbolizes the offering of one's ego and desires to the deity, seeking his protection and guidance.
Overall, the Kaal Bhairav Temple in Ujjain is a significant pilgrimage site for devotees of Lord Bhairava and those seeking blessings for protection and prosperity.

One of the most sacred and worshipped temple in Ujjain after Mahakal Mandir. First people seek blessings from Mahakal Mandir and then visit here. Near to these temple it also has Bhairav Ghat where you can have Holy Bath and Boat Riding, you can also see some of the most scenic sunset here it depends on climatic conditions. Management is perfect here for visiting people whether it is crowded or not. Soul and Heart becomes more Divine & Peaceful after worshipping to God here such a holy place it is. When I visited these holy place some people told me earlier to take alcohol as a offering to God and what I see is their are wine shops from which people are purchasing as per belief, but reality was different management staff restricted people from offering alcohol to God "Shree Kaal Bhairavji" don't know the exact reason but still people were offering alcohol at the backside of temple which was terrible as it made floor slippery, surrounding dirty, muddy and stinky. No problem for food near by, you can have fast food or snacks like pani puri, corn chaat etc, & must try here is khicha or papad which is fried and served with mirch masala. For children's their is also a enjoyable camel ride here when these holy place is much crowded. E-Rickshaw & Auto are the most convenient means of transport here. Main Road linked to these place is Ring Road.

No description is required as naam is enough...shoe storage facility is available for ₹10 just before the entrance of the temple and the place is always very crowded. Liquor shop is also there, you can buy them easily.

Shri Kaal Bhairav Mandir is believed to be built by king Bhadrasen dated back in 9th century. The present day temple was made by Maratha King Mahadaji Shinde after fulfilment of his desire to re establish the Maratha Kingdom after defeat in third battle of Panipat. He had offered his turban to Lord Kaal Bhairav and established this temple once reestablishes the Maratha rule. The temple has reflection of Maratha period. The deepmala are placed in the temple. Liquor is also offered to the lord.
Shri Kaal Bhairav is Senapati of Mahaakaal and worshipped in that context. One must visit the temple if in Ujjain.

Jai Kala Bhairav! Jai Mahakal! Kala bhairav is referred to as ujjain’s guard. He is the protector of Ujjain. The temple is amazing. You feel energetic once you enter it. Whiskey is offered to the lord kala bhairav. You can buy from the Prasad shop. It’s outside the premises. But during saawan month it is not offered.

Very spiritual place. There were a lot of crowd when I visited during the week days. I started to stand in queue around 12:30 and we ended around 2:30. It's a tradition to offer liquor to Kala Bhairava. Nowadays it's not allowed, but some devotees do offer it. The devotees hand over the liquor bottles to the priest, who pours the liquor in a saucer. He then offers prayers and takes the saucer near the deity's lips, which have a slit. He tilts the plate a bit, and the liquor starts disappearing.

Located 6 kilometres away from the Mahakal temple, this temple is located outside the city and you'll have to hire a cab or auto to reach there. Great place but need better crowd management.

This temple has more crowd than the Mahakal temple. The reason might be lack of management. It takes more than 2 hours to stand in the line & visit the main deity. The road that leads to the temple is also dirty. And one thing you must keep in mind that, here liquor is offered to God as Prasad. So if you can consume the Prasad then only offer it to God or else don't offer. This place needs more managing same like the Mahakaleshwar temple.

The present-day temple structure was built over the remains of an older temple. The original temple is believed to have been built by an obscure king named Bhadrasen. It has been mentioned in the Avanti Khanda of the Skanda Purana.Images of Shiva, Parvati, Vishnu and Ganesha belonging to the Paramara period (9th-13th century CE) have been recovered from the place. The temple walls were once decorated with Malwa paintings. However, only traces of these paintings are visible now.
The present-day temple structure shows Maratha influence. According to the local tradition, after the Maratha defeat in the Third Battle of Panipat (1761 CE), the Maratha general Mahadaji Shinde offered his pagri (turban) to the deity, praying for victory in his campaign to restore the Maratha rule in North India. After successfully resurrecting Maratha power, he carried out restoration of the temple.
A replica of the temple has been established on the Bhuj-Mundra road in Gujarat.

This temple is very famous for the visitors coming to Ujjain. But there is no management in this temple, there is neither provision of drinking water nor any kind of shade from the temple side. Devotees are forced to stand under the open sky. The management here should provide basic facilities to the visiting devotees so that they can plan to come again. Any devotee who comes here comes with the trust of God. There should be separate arrangements for darshan for the elderly and the disabled. I hope this comment of mine reaches the temple management and necessary action is taken.

You can see a wine shop near temple which is crowded by devotees.

It's a famous cactus 🌵 garden laid out towards the rear and flank of Sailana Palace, the residence of the erstwhile Rathor ruling family of Sailana State. Most of the cactii were planted more than 150 years ago. Their size, scale and variety is grand and has to be experienced in person to get a perspective. Though there are no guides, it's easily navigated due to it's compactness and labelling of cactii species. The management could do with more upkeep and maintenance orherwise the place would just fall apart or go to ruin. For cactii enthusiasts, it's a must visit. In addition, the Museum is co-located and has some nice and rare exhibits, but it has a separate entry ticket. No need to buy tickets in advance. Parking is free and easily available

I was hyped up to see this place by my mom, who had visited it 6 years ago, when there were more plants and even guides who spoke about different kinds of cactus. However, my visit in the month of November, 2021 wasn't as exciting as mom has described.
Though there's still many cactus and plants, the garden is now in a condition where it's hard to walk through, many plants were cut off, some even had fungus on them, and the small garden inside the big garden was closed off and completely destroyed.
Also reaching there is expensive if you don't own a car or bike. Fortunately we got an auto who charged us only Rs. 600 for a to and from trip. Otherwise, booking a private car started from Rs. 1800 onwards.
Though many spots and plants are still picture worthy✨ We even got to see a Peacock 🦚 there. So it was wonderful to have come across so many cactus species😍😍

Oh it's one of the finest and very different hindu mandir in terms of goddess idol, 12km from Banswara, Rajasthan. It's quite unique n big. The art work on marbles is mesmerising. Whole mandir is made of different marbles as this area is belt of marbles. Nearby this mandir are mines of marble. So plenty of marble everywhere. Apart from this the mandir is around more than 800 years old. People of this n surrounding areas have extreme faith for this mandir. It's beautifully crafted over marble. The floor is again very beautifully crafted and designed over n with marble. For VIP there is a helipad behind this mandir. Big and vast parking area for vehicles. There is also a small canteen with the parking. Overall one needs at least 4 to 5 hours to fully explore this masterpiece of art work. A must visit. Best time would be October, November, March. Take a picnic tour of full day and explore nearby areas as well, they are as much beautiful as this place.

This beautiful man made lake is the 2nd largest in Asia. Which provides drinking water to Udaipur though being about 50 kms from the city . Has been built between 1711-1730 by the ruler of the famous Mewar royal family, roughly 387 years ago.
Also, I took this shot from a place which is popular by the name Roothi Rani ka Mahal initially know as “Hawa Mahal”.

Surrounded by lush green mountains, white marble temples and ethereal palaces reflected in its sparkling blue waters, the Jaisamand Lake is a spectacular vision. Around 50 km from Udaipur, Jaisamand is the second largest artificial lake in Asia. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1685, the lake covers an area of 36 sq km with a length of 14 km and width of 9 km. The lake has a depth of about 102 feet!
Also known as Dhebar, the lake was constructed, while the king was building a dam on the Gomti river. The dam on the lake is massive in size: 1,202 ft in length, 116 ft in height and width of 70 ft at the bottom. At the centre of the lake is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. And on its shore is a spectacular summer palace that was once the retreat of the Udaipur royal family's women. The lake also has six marble cenotaphs on its embankment. There are seven islands in the lake and the largest of these is Babaka Bhagra.
With beautiful marble steps that gently descend into the water, the lake-side is perfect to sit and watch the rippling waters. There are boat rides available and a sanctuary nearby (Jaisamand Sanctuary), which was the hunting grounds of the the Mewar royal family, and today is home to various types of birds and animals like panthers, leopards, deer and wild boars

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Huge, ornately designed Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, attracting thousands of worshippers.
The temple is very peaceful. It has been maintained very well. The cleanliness was on point. Dustbins were kept in passage and people were also following the rules written over there.
The carvings are so beautiful that you loose the track of time if you just analyse them little bit in depth. The assence of old civilization is carved on the temple walls and on the pillars. You get to learn so many new things from these pillars about civilization and history.

Surrounded by nice and green hills and very cheap accommodation and food available. Good option for a stay of couple of days.

Ancient pious temple of Lord Shri Krishna located near the highway. Trust has preserved the old heritage valued carvings on the stone. Facilities including shade, Prasad Ghar, bhojan shala, carpets, shoe stands, etc. are also too good. The only con is beggars are too much.

Recently I visited this Shree Vishnu Bhagwan Temple, Shamlaji, Bhiloda - Gambhoi Road, Dist. Aravalli with friends for darshan. This 16th century Krishna temple belongs to the Lord Vishnu and located at the river bank of Meshvo on aravalli range at Gujarat - Rajasthan border. You feel in temple very peaceful, calm and free of all other worries of your life and just want to see the MURTI of lord Krishna. It's very old temple and the structure was almost original. Need some basic facilities and infrastructure for pilgrims and also some beautification around the main temple with proper parking area.

Very devotional place. Peaceful atmosphere. Mandir of Shri Krishna and Lakshmi ji is there. One can also enjoy local market shopping over here. I bought Krishna clothes, toys for kids, bangles and few stall dupattas, they were all trendy and within the budget.
