My oh my. I could live there. Newport in itself is extremely gorgeous but if you don’t stop here you are completely missing out. My breathe slows, my eyes widen, my heart sinks, and i feel free. The sunsets here are like no other. You can go to as many beaches as you want but never will you go on an ocean drive this long and this gorgeous. It will always be this place that can clear my head.

It was a rainy day in fall! Still the drive was beautiful. So many amazing and historic mansions and beautiful beach houses! We thoroughly enjoyed our drive. Pretty relaxing!

Amazing drive with gorgeous scenery of the Newport coast. So many places to stop and take a wonderful picture. Worth the drive.

Absolutely picturesque! A great place to rent bikes or scooters. 5 miles each way. The scenery is incredible! Also love all the kites at the park.

One of the coolest drives I've got to experience. Coastline is absolutely beautiful and surreal experience. Definitely not something you typically see on the East Coast.

A gorgeous historic drive along the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Amazing sunsets, rocky coast walking, and kite flying. Scenic and beautiful
The Elms is a historic house located on Bellevue Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island. The house was built in 1901 for coal baron and National Historic Landmark Edward Julius Berwinds, and is a replica of a French chateau-style home from the mid-19th century. The Elms features 18th century French and Venetian art, Renaissance ceramics, and Oriental jade.
We highly recommend getting a two stop pass, visiting the breakers first, then going the Elms, and then walking to eat lunch downtown. The Elms is smaller than the breakers and has a wonderfully sophisticated, intimate, and tasteful ambience. There are carpet walkways to protect the flooring. The structure of the mansion is such that you often need to peer into a room from the hallway. A good bit of the furniture is not original. It is cool to see the original electric breaker and the white subway tile bathrooms that have aged quite well over a hundred years.
Jaye Aster Broder — Google review
The Elms is an absolutely stunning property. The open concept guides you from room to room. Make sure you walk through the entire property. The gardens in the back is a serene place that will leave you wondering in peace.
My recommendation is to purchase an annual membership. There are different levels that you can choose from to fit your family situation. This will not only save you money, but it is also a tax-deductible gift. Also, purchase your tickets/membership online. It is easy and will save you time when you first arrive.
Chris Trethewey — Google review
The Elms mansion was our second choice after we visited the Breakers. We visited The Elms on Saturday. It’s beautiful and have lot of sculptures and paintings
They have free parking.
Buy package which gives entry to two or three historic houses is a better deal I recommend taking this rather than going with individual mansions.
Natesh Chandu — Google review
Definitely should be one of the houses you see if you're doing the Newport mansions. House is in fantastic shape and represents the gilded age quite well. History of the house is well explained in the self guided tour document. Staff are friendly and helpful and eager to answer questions if you have any. You can also use mobile applications for voice guidance.
Amal Viswam — Google review
This was the first of the three mansions I was able to check out during my stay in Newport, and out of the three, this one was my overall favorite. The architecture of this building and surrounding areas are absolutely breathtaking. Before you start your tour, the friendly staff advises everyone to make sure they download the app "Newport Mansions" so you can get all the details and history of each room they enter. Also, I would advise getting tickets in advance so you don't have to get them directly at the entrance. Once you reach the end of your tour, you end up in their really nifty gift shop that is definitely worth checking out for great gift ideas. After you get back outside, you can walk around the beautiful grounds. For those visiting Newport for the first time, like I did, you seriously need to add this mansion tour on your list of things to do.

absolutely breathtaking. my favorite house that we have toured here. here are some of my pictures, not going to spoil all of the awesome features of this home for you!! 😉
kaicey belle — Google review
What a beautiful “cottage” as they call them. So wonderful it wasn’t torn down and we’re able to step into history. We used the newport mansion app for this tour as well and again it was very enlightening. We had a great time touring the home and strolling the grounds.

🌳Truly Beautiful - 18th-Century Splendor🌳
History buffs and appreciators of aesthetics alike will quickly fall in love with The Elms. Smaller than the Breakers but no less splendid, each rooms is a testament to artistry and culture. I've included several photos to try and capture a sampling of the sights, but the best option is to see it all in person.
Free audio tours allow you to walk from one room to the next while gleaning insight about the daily life, architecture, and culture of the time. Around Christmas, the manor is decorated for the holidays, inviting you as a guest to bask in the festive glow.
Casey Covel — Google review
Amazing experience. Has one of the few remaining lacquer rooms in existence. I loved the marble and paintings. The self-guided audio tour is brilliant and the renovations they have done to persevere the original furnishings and buy back lost items is astounding. The preservation society has been very successfully at returning this "cottage" to its gilded age glory. Make sure you plan to view the gardens after you see the house. The trees are kinda magical.
Katharine Moser — Google review
Nice mansion. Julius Berwind from Philadelphia had the mansion built. He was a coal Barron. They would spend about $350,000 in the late 1800s, entertaining during each season. The season lasted about 8 weeks for during the summer. That equates to about $12Million in today's money. They must have had a raring good time. The preservation society keep up the mansions very well.
Hayes Weggeman — Google review
This is my new favorite mansion in Newport. Love the vibe. Staff is super helpful and polite. Booked our tickets online. Tip: book package deals where you get to visit multiple Newport mansions at a lower rate. And also don’t forget to download Newport mansions app on your phone to listen to tour guide as you go about it.
Ana Joshi — Google review
This mansion was spectacular. Get the Newport Mansion Mobile App to get the full explanation of everything. The paper handout does not provide enough info. The mansion seemed like a place I could live compared to Marble House and The Breakers. The gardens were equally beautiful.
Howard Rowe — Google review
Beautiful! This was definitely our favorite mansion. So classy and we also really enjoyed the free tour on the app. The interior was magnificent, and we loved walking the grounds afterwards as well.
Charity Hernandez — Google review
This was my fav house out of the three we visited: The Breakers & Marble House. It was our last mansion, we arrived there by sunset and it was glorious! We got the Get Your Guide three mansion bundle and was def worth it!
Ary To — Google review
Well maintained and preserved mansion. Information you learn on the self guided tour is robust and fascinating. Wonderful that the house was saved and not torn down as it was supposed to be. Worth the stop if you enjoy architecture and history.
Jozef Watson — Google review
I actually loved The Elms more than The Breakers and a lot more than I thought I would. It’s beautifully decorated for Christmas. The conservatory, golden room and sitting room were highlights. I really enjoyed my visit.
Ana Espinoza — Google review
Fantastic, classic opulent mansion from the Gilded Age, literally and in TV land too! Excellent staff, very knowledgeable and beautiful grounds. We loved it!
Jim Cannon — Google review
Another wonderful stop if you are visiting the many mansions of Newport. There is no wrong choice, when it comes to the mansions, with The Elms being outstanding.
Charles Hollenbeck — Google review
I love the dance hall in this mansion and the beautiful marble columns on the first level. Full history of the house and the window design and lighting to face the numerous back yard. It’s really stunning! I love the details here and admire they design the under tunnel to transport coal. It’s a must see in New Port as well.
Remember to download the app and listen to the audio guide during your visit. You will enjoy it!
This Beaux-Arts-style mansion is now a museum and its ballroom inspired by the hall of Mirrors at Versailles is nearly entirely encrusted in gold. If youre up for a long walk, it's worth checking out this historical place.
Went on a weekend before Christmas and the decorations were amazing! What else would you expect from a home with 500,000 cubic ft of marble?? Masking strictly enforced. A lot of people there but staff tried to limit people in narrow spaces. Definitely worth it to get annual pass. Plan to go back in the spring and summer!!
Kelli M. — Google review
The Marble house is very ornate and beautiful. The staff wasn’t overly friendly. They are all kinda of quiet. They definitely watch you and make sure you’re not touching anything. You’re allowed photos but with no flash photography. The nicest woman was in the gift shop. I enjoyed the self guided tour you can listen to make sure you have ear buds or headphones.
Jennifer Cotto — Google review
Much smaller than the Breakers but the enormous amount of marble used in this house makes it look very lavish and is worth a visit. Not too crowded when we came on a weekend morning. Do take note that Marble House is not accessible from the Cliff Walk itself, so you either have to come by car or Trolley bus 67 (stop is right outside, comes every 15 minutes).
Ling Zhu — Google review
Another beautiful estate. Right on par with The Elms. The gothic room was awesome. The fireplace was superb. Its just like a castle out of Europe. Tea house was also lovely. Docents very helpful with information.
Ingrid Hill — Google review
Hadn’t been to Marble House before, glad was able to tour. Used the audio app and it was easy to use and enjoyed the extras too.
It’s a quick home to tour, more time spent in kitchen than other rooms.
Went in early March so not crowded and was able to take a closer look around.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful ❣.
Bought tickets to view two mansions but had time for one only. The nice thing is hang on to your ticket, there good for ever. Enjoyed this visit with cousin Sue out visiting from TN.
We had a lovely time at lunch nearby also. Looking forward to another visit soon.
Cheryl Denton — Google review
Marble house is very pretty. I believe it is one of the 2nd largest historic houses. We got to tour the main rooms. Backyard view is gorgeous overlooking the water & there is a tea house you can visit that has some snacks & beverages. My 10yo was amazed at how big/fancy the house is & said it is the biggest house she's ever been in her whole life.
Jerrica — Google review
Full of history beautiful Mansion! It was built by marbles inside out. I enjoyed walking around and listen the audio guide from the App that I downloaded to my phone. The Vanderbilt family actually spent their summer time here in the past. The Breakers and The Elms are more likely as a party house to entertain guests.
We booked the Hunter House Guided Tour so they upgrade our entrance ticket to be trio ticket for free.
Jean Tsou — Google review
Definitely worth a visit if you’re spending the day in Newport. For what this house lacks in size (relative to the other mansions) it makes up for in detail. Also make sure to visit the tea house!
Jake Jackson — Google review
Well worth a visit. Beautiful house and grounds and interesting history. I was able to visit with an upgrade to my Breakers Mansion ticket.
TheDawnTreader — Google review
The Marble House is a stunning property that will leave you in awe. Scan the QR code and listen to the audio tour. Walk back to the back part of the property and grab something to eat and drink at the Chinese Tea Room. And enjoy sitting outside with stunning views.
Definitely not as interesting as The Breakers but the marble facade is impressive. The interior is ok but a little musty. Definitely worth a visit but I probably should have viewed The Elms instead. The tea house is disappointing.
Kwon — Google review
Beautiful "cottage". Upon entering you can certainly see why it was considered THE most lavish house in America for a period of time, and why Mrs. Vanderbilt considered herself equal to European royalty.
If you're a history or art person, I'd definitely come check out this mansion. I came on the Viking Tour bus and had 75 minutes to tour the mansion. I certainly could have spent more time there due to the huge amount of absolutely stunning architecture and art throughout the building.
If you're not too keen on the idea of downloading an app for an audio tour (I wasn't) there are paper copies of the transcript for a self guided tour before entering the dining room. Either listening to or reading the transcript will help bring a lot more life to the tour so that you don't zip through the mansion, as I often see people do at museums.
Ian Proctor — Google review
This Mansion was gorgeous. I definitely recommend this mansion. There was no wait to get in. I got my tickets advanced through a tour I took, Viking Trolly Tour, it was a 4 hour tour which included The Marble House and also The Breakers.
I recommend downloading the Newport Mansions app before you arrive, maybe the night before or even the week before. If you know what mansions you're going to you can download the audio tour before you arrive which is far easier then trying to download on cellular data while you're there and waste precious time.
The app made the self guided tour so much better, it had so much information and more per room. Each room was between 1-3 minutes of audio and then you could get more information by clicking another button on the screen.
This Mansion was well taken care of and there were many staff around the building making sure people weren't touching anything.
Hayley Jean Proctor — Google review
Watch this first and then watch the breakers. If you watch the breakers first and then come back to watch this, it will feel very ordinary. It will take at most an hour to finish watching it. The place is not big!
sian huang — Google review
I went here with my family over the break, and its very grand. The ceilings have painting on them and the furniture looks expensive. Other than the servants rooms, all rooms are open to the public. There are explanations of the room through audio and a pamphlet. The pamphlet is available in many many languages which is a good thing for foreigners.
Minji Kim — Google review
If you purchase a larger mansion ticket, this is an excellent stop. As a part of a longer day, it is always pleasant visiting the Marble House.
Charles Hollenbeck — Google review
My husband and I have gone to the Newport Mansions every holiday for 4 seasons now. We love the elegance and festive atmosphere. We join the Newport Preservation Society to cutcost on mansion fees, save on purchases in their stores and get a discount for the Lighted night tour as well. Love the area. BEAUTIFUL sunsets on Ocean Drive . Lovely way to enjoy Christmas season!

Recommend the Get Your Guide tix in advance. The three mansion bundle is def worth it! Loved all the history and info you can get from the mansion’s app!

The marble house was beautiful! I was inspired to go to the Marble house by tictok! An influencer posted about the Chinese tea house located behind the marble house The main reason of my visit to the Marble house was to attend the Chinese tea house. Upon arrival I had to pay $25 admission fee to tour the marble house, which was great. I really enjoyed touring the marble house it reminded me of the Gilded Age. when visiting the Chinese tea house. I expected a lot more. I expected there to be a Chinese tea ceremony. Instead they had boxed tea which was more so Americanized. Also, they had cold sandwiches. That were being sold not to mention when walking into the teahouse I was not greeted immediately. This made me feel really uncomfortable, and instead of purchasing a cup of tea I ended up leaving. This was really disappointing because I drove so far to experience the the Chinese tea house.
Phace Artistry — Google review
The Marble house was worth the visit as an Add on to The Breakers ($10) but not on its own. The home is not as up-kept like the others. t’s a much smaller house with two staff members that made Us feel like children stealing candy. What an uncomfortable feeling. We were well dressed quiet adults not looking to touch anything. They followed Us but not the group of loud ladies. I wasn’t going to say anything until My husband later said something. He works in NYC transit so nothing phases him, this definitely bugged him. Definitely not a place to visit if you are handicapped either.
The Breakers is a 70-room Italian Renaissance megapalace inspired by 16th-century Genoese palazzi, located on a grand oceanside site in Newport, Rhode Island. The furnishings, most made expressly for The Breakers, are all original.
Get the annual pass! It is the best value! $80 for 2 adults for 1 year at all the Newport properties. Normally $26/adult at the Breakers. Anyway, this property is beautiful and the quintessential gilded age "cottage". Download the app so you can listen to the audio tour as you walk the property. You'll learn the Breakers has a lot of hidden artwork (acorns, dolphins) in their tile work and the ceilings and their meaning. Plan on going multiple times!
Kelli M. — Google review
😱 what a beautiful mansion. I did the self guided audio tour along. It was very informational and interesting. It took me about 2 hours to do the tour.
I got $2 discount for being a AAA member.
All staffs were courteous. They don’t allow selfie sticks inside breakers.
There is a big parking lot for visitors. You can park there and enjoy both breakers and cliff walk.

This mansion is Amazing! I didn’t know such property exist in the U.S. large massive floor plan. All interior design was influenced by France and Italy. I enjoyed walking around with the self guided tour from the App. I love the terrace balcony on the 2nd Level which has amazing ocean view. I am glad this building was maintained so well for the new generation to visit.
We booked Hunter House Tour in advance so they offer us free upgrade to trio visit ticket.

Really interesting! Not often you see a place like this. Be sure to download the free audio tour app and bring headphones as you walk through - definitely adds to the experience.
The mansion is ornate and incredible - pretty mesmerizing to look around and learn about the details and history. A worthy stop!

What an experience! It's amazing to see how much craftsmanship and skilled labor went into making this massive mansion. The grounds surrounding it are also very beautiful but unfortunately it was raining and windy when we went.
Joao S — Google review
Amazing…. Of course!
Self-guided/paced tour was nice. (I didn’t happen to have earbuds, so had to resort to reading the transcript, but glad the app had that!). Would give 5 stars if it wasn’t quite so pricey…. Probably better to buy those combo tickets others have mentioned, but we didn’t plan on seeing more than one of these mansions…. We did a weekday in June, and it was moderately busy but not overly crowded and a very nice experience…
I’ve visited at least a few mansions, and this really is a well-maintained example of opulence. (Like gold-leaf on huge wall areas applied by hand, such that it looks like leather? Yikes…. I’m still trying to understand why “more” = “better”, but anyway…. It truly is amazing.).
My favorite room wasn’t even a room at all, it was the covered porch/veranda… with that ocean view…. Crazy stunning!
e baerwald — Google review
Amazing place to explore, and the audio tour app is really easy to follow. Make sure to take some headphones so you aren’t that person listening to the tour out loud!
The building itself is intriguing and the level of detail in the architecture is something to behold. It’s a modern copy of authentic European designs, but because of this it’s done in a crisper fashion - most notably gas/ electrics and heating are built into the house - where usually this was retrofitted and ruins the feel of the place!
James Washer — Google review
Highly recommended! I visited the Breakers Mansion in Newport, RI a few months ago and it was absolutely breathtaking! I’ve toured many mansions before, but this is now my favorite place! The setting on the Atlantic Ocean is so beautiful and peaceful! I did the self guided tour and I very much enjoyed it! There was no rush and I could walk around at my own pace! I loved hearing about the history of the mansion and the Vanderbilt family! I also wandered around the gardens for an hour or two. Just breathtaking! I found delightful souvenirs in the gift shop and I finished up with lunch at the darling little cafe. It was a fun half day touring this lovely historic home! Newport is one of my favorite places to visit and I can’t wait to go back to visit this beautiful home and town!

This is such an iconic symbol of the guilded age. Its pure opulence. Such a beautiful home!! The tours are well done but for those who dont want to listen to audio also have a written synopsis. Good child's scavenger hunt, beautiful great lawn. The ticketing here is busy so might be better purchased at Marble House or The Elms. A good stop for early in the day.
Ingrid Hill — Google review
I went here for the first time not knowing at all what to expect, I left absolutely loving the tour I took. The mansion is breathtaking to look at inside and out. The decor and views are wonderful to look at . The crowds were not too bad considering there was a cruise ship in port with tours in the area. I definitely recommend walking the whole grounds and doing the cliff walk behind the mansion as well as it has breathtaking views of the coast and other mansions.
Jj Prete — Google review
Beautiful day! Mansion was grand! I was happy to see period pieces of furniture that I believe were part of the owners and not donated by historical society or personal artifacts (if someone is aware if that's the case would love to know)
The grounds were nice not much to them but the ocean view was perfect!
Cynthia Blais — Google review
With the multi-house tickets, no reservation is needed. Very convenient to show up when we want and visit the multiple houses as we feel like. This one is definitely the most grand, with over-the-top decor to display wealth. Not very interesting architecturally but unusual for its interior decor. Busy.

Very nice place to visit. I can't even imagine spending $50 million dollars to build a house that big back in the day. The lady there told me it's worth over $350 million now or more it no one really knows. They have a self guide tour with an app that you can listen to. Staff are nice and they have staff at pretty much in every room so you can ask questions. Worth the ticket price.
Jedi Master ASU — Google review
A really gorgeous place that’s quick to tour without the audio guide. I walked through in about an hour and really took my time to look at everything. The ceilings are gorgeous and you can see the historical impressions in the walls and columns. The view outside is gorgeous especially at the upper level of the house. There’s this huge level that overlooks the water and it is gorgeous.
Sadly, it’s blocked off by red rope. I understand the safety reasons for it since it’s a huge open wall to the water, but it was disappointing how far back the rope was. Otherwise, I got a good video of everything.
At the end there’s a little gift and souvenirs shop that’s a bit on the pricey side, but ofc it goes into maintaining this great community space. So it’s worth a little something to take home.

Absolutely amazing experience! Would highly highly recommend. Entry ticket was very affordable and the "palace" is absolutely beautiful. The estate is fantastic and the interiors are stunning. The place has been maintained very well and the folks there are very knowledgeable about the area. Wish we had some more time to spend there - would block out 2-3 hours for a fun visit. Make sure to spend some time on the walkway / bridge area.

Shipping and railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt II's 70 room, 100,000 sq ft "Breakers" mansion is the epitome of American decadence and vanity during the "Gilded Age" of 1870s to 1910. This was the Vanderbilt's summer "cottage" for the months of July and August. Otherwise, the family resided in their residence on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
The Breakers was constructed by Richard Morris Hunt and is now a museum and location for special events and concerts. Ticket prices are $29 for adults and $10 for youth. We purchased our tickets online as part of a package with Viking Trolley Tours. Downloading an app provides for the audio portion of the self guided tour.
We arrived for our tour on November 28th, off-season. We were fortunate to have nice weather, 51⁰, which we're told by locals is a gift. At this time, the house is decorated for Christmas which adds enormously to the grandeur of the already lavish architecture, furnishings, and decor.
Much to Vanderbilt's dismay, he enjoyed the house for only a few years before dying in 1899. His wife inherited the home, eventually giving it to her daughter Gladys as her other six children weren't interested in the property. In 1948, it was leased to the Preservation Society of Newport County for $1 per year. It was later sold to the society in 1972.
While this house represents the shear decadence of lavish living, the architecture is something truly amazing and worth visiting and appreciating.

The main reason we stopped in Newport and it didn't disappoint. One of the most beautiful mansions I've visited with fantastic architecture that is extremely well maintained. The history of the house is fascinating and the staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. The document for the self guided tour is well written and easy to follow. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

If you’re looking to see only one of the mansions in Newport this is it. I went in early April and it wasn’t too busy but I can imagine it gets much crazier later in summer. If you plan on visiting any others the marble house is also worth a stop.

If you have the opportunity to visit The Breaker’s home, now part of the conservation society, do so. You’ll learn about this family’s architectural and design inspiration and their success in the gilded age. Download an app to listen to the audio tour. Personally I enjoyed the marble house slightly more.

Had a lovely tour of the Breakers while visiting Newport. We stopped here via the Trolley Tour. The place is amazing. Fascinating history and wonderful ocean views. Download the app and do the self-guided tour.

One of my favorites in the Newport Mansions! Gorgeous, grand and definitely worth a visit! Be sure to do the audio tour on the Newport Mansions app (use earbuds or headphones if you have them) for the best experience! Paper copies of the audio tour are available in various languages as well if you don't want to use the app.

We visited The Breakers in December for Sparkling Lights. Having visited several times over the last 3 decades, visiting at night offered a different perspective.
In addition, the mansion was dressed in Christmas finery. The dimly lit rooms offered a warmth not felt during daylight hours.
Sparkling Lights is relatively small compared to other outdoor lights displays we have visited, however, it was satisfying and worth the price of admission.

Wanted to see this for awhile, but even more so after watching "The Gilded Age". Absolutely gorgeous! Self guided audio tour was informative, and easy to use.

I had visited the Breakers 7/8 years ago on a school trip and really wanted to revisit it. It's obviously ornate and gorgeous and if you really take the time, there is so much to appreciate in each room. There's so much to take in and the passion of artistry is in every single room. I highly recommend doing the audio tour though if you go because though there's text to read, it would've been more immersive and worth the cost to have that immersion. It is free though, you just need an app.

We went to see the Breakers when it was decorated for Christmas. It looked beautiful!! We listened to the audio tour which was very informative and not too long.
Parking was easy to come by and the place was not crowded. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon. The whole visit whit the gardens took approximately 2 hours. We had some coffee on the way out and had dinner in the city. It makes for a great day out.
The Cliff Walk is a picturesque walking trail spanning 3.5 miles, offering stunning views of the coast and magnificent architecture from the Gilded Age. Located behind the Newport Mansions, this scenic route remains often overlooked by tourists despite its breathtaking appeal. The trail begins at The Chanler and leads directly to the mansions along its path, providing visitors with an unforgettable experience of New England's beauty.

Luke Adams Glass Blowing offers a range of beautiful glass items, including miniature animals and other decorative pieces. Customers have praised the quality of the miniatures and the excellent customer service provided by Lea. The studio also offers glassblowing classes, providing an opportunity for people to create their own unique glass items. Despite the pandemic, customers have continued to enjoy purchasing items from Luke Adams Glass Blowing to add a touch of beauty to their homes.
Did the 3 hour class and had a great time. Good mix of hands on instruction with the teacher taking over for critical parts. They let you fully design your piece (shape, color, size) and you get to take home something individual. They do charge extra for more colors and special glass.

I ordered 2 of the miniature animals. I got notification that they were delivered, but saw it said they were delivered to a different town. I emailed straight away and had response immediately. Lea confirmed it had been delivered to the wrong address, and immediately shipped out replacements. I had my order the next day. Not only are the miniatures fantastic, the customer service was top notch. Thank you for the beautiful pieces and making the ordering experience so easy.

I ordered their mystery ornament box online (3 hanging ornaments are promised) and absolutely loved the surprise I received: one spinner, one starfish, one wishball ornament. Everything is beautiful, and I adore these colorful pieces. Everything was packaged carefully and arrived in perfect condition. What a lovely idea! Wish I could visit the shop, but I live far away. 💙🩵💚💛✨

The idea was great but the teacher was somewhere else.
There were 4 people in the class, everyone picked a project to do, the instructor had everyone make a decision on what they wanted and he then wrote it down.
Then he made mistakes and had people start the wrong project at least three different times out of six projects.
One of the people in the class ended up with a huge Bowl when they wanted a small cereal bowl another person made my wife's project and decided to keep it.
The instructor also seemed somewhat disinterested and was not very specific or informative in lot of cases. I wanted to learn a lot more than he taught, when it comes to specifics he was lacking.I personally look for a little bit more of a learning experience, and I like to get technical.
For the average person I believe this would be a satisfactory class. The feeling of creating something from nothing is amazing and the people were friendly.

Couldn't recommend them enough. The staff are all talented, passionate, and kind. My partner and I took a glassblowing class - we had one-on-one teaching and Fiona and Craig were so wonderful. We learned so much about the glassblowing process in addition to actually making our pieces. We had full creative control over the colors and everything, and got great explanations for all the steps involved. We did this for our 5 year anniversary, and the Luke Adams team surprised us with a beautiful "Happily Ever After" glass pumpkin as a gift! So sweet!

I have blown glass here before and had a great experience and so I won’t rate them a 1. I have been trying for the last 2 and a half weeks to get a gift card. I tried purchasing online through the website but it was down. I’ve called the location and left multiple voicemails, I’ve emailed (which is the way they say is best for communicating with them) I’ve also gone to the location in person. I finally got through today and spoke with someone, she informed that they are not selling gift cards at this time. I was frustrated as a customer because I have been trying multiple ways to get in contact with them and no one returned any of my messages. Not the best customer service.

I am sure his classes are 5 stars. I live in Florida and was ecstatic when I found his glass pumpkins. My first order was 3 pumpkins waited over a week and nothing was sent. You could track the order and there was no movement. I contacted their customer service and was advised that the daily pumpkin I purchased was broken. Why they didn't ship the other 2 pumpkins I do not know. But after I emailed them the other 2 pumpkins were shipped. I am not upset that the pumpkin was broken I was upset t hat I had to contact them to get my order sent for the other 2 pumpkins. I placed another order for 2 pumpkins which arrived last Saturday 1 pumpkin was fine the other pumpkin was chipped. I emailed customer service and they requested I email them photos which I did. The pumpkin that was damaged was a dark purple and it is very difficult to see the damage. But you could see the damage in the photo. In fact I believe the damage occurred before they shipped the pumpkin. I now have to send the pumpkin back to them. You can be the best glass blower on the planet BUT if you cannot give good customer service and a good product what good is it. I would be ordering pumpkins every week but not from this company. Mr. Adams your name is attached to this product. Two orders and both had problems. Since I love pumpkins and was addicted to looking at his daily pumpkins which are beautiful there has to be another company out there to provide a good product with good customer service.

I received something completely different then what I ordered! I emailed them and was told that mine broke and I was made another which looks nothing the same. No apology nothing! Was told to return item. Like who does that, horrible customer service. I think if I ordered something and it breaks I should be notified not just sent some other piece that in my opinion looked awful. Will not buy anything else from this shop!! First picture is what I received and the second is the one I ordered.

Woods Hole is the home of the world renowned oceanographic institute. A day of walking around the area and exploring is a day well spent. Do not miss the museum. There's also an array of good eateries and shops. You can do a walk-on and get to Martha's Vineyard for about 10 bucks too. (But it'll cost you a quick 100 to drive on).

Exciting way to travel to Martha Vineyard. I took my car across to the island, and found it interesting how they lined you up in the bottom of the boat. (You are given an assigned numbered lane to enter the ferry.) Once lined up and parked inside the ferry, I was able to leave the car and go up the stairs and find a seat to sit and watch the crossing. An announcement was made to return to the car and I drove off. Very efficient service.

please note that you need parking at 286 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth, MA 02540, then take a shuttle to the ferry terminal.

This is my first time on a ferry, and it was so much fun. It was quick and easy to park at the satellite, lot and shuttled to the dock. I chose to sit up on top instead of the air-conditioned section. It’s a beautiful trip to Martha’s Vineyard and part of the charm. Once you get to MarthasVineyard go to a spot where you can see the cars coming out. It is unbelievable how many cars they carry on this ferry!

This port was very nice!!! It was very enjoyable staying by the sea side while waiting for our ferri to board. There is a 45 min wait between the boats, however there are shops and restaurants with in a 2/5 min walking distance to accommodate you while you wait. The ⛵ smell, for myself any ways, the Sunshine 🌅, and the amazing aroma of lobster 🦞 we're enough to capture me while I waited. There are bathrooms that are very clean and a waiting room inside as well as space outside if you'd rather just stay put. It's well spaced and every one is very nice!!! Well done 👍👍

A voyage to Martha's Vineyard via the ferry is a truly enchanting experience that weaves together the allure of the sea and the charm of the island. As you step aboard, the gentle sway of the boat becomes a rhythmic lullaby, soothing you into relaxation. Gazing out across the endless expanse of water, the horizon seems to stretch beyond imagination, reminding us of the world's vast beauty. The ferry ride paints a serene backdrop against which the island's charm comes alive, promising an unforgettable journey even before reaching the shores of Martha's Vineyard.

The Nobska Lighthouse Museum is a tourist attraction located in Woods Hole, Massachusetts that offers visitors a glimpse into the history of lighthouses on Cape Cod. The museum features exhibits about the construction of the Nobska Point Light and its surrounding areas, as well as several photographs and artifacts related to lighthouse keepers and maritime legends. The museum is open from Memorial Day to Columbus Day each year.
Our family enjoyed being able to walk up to the lighthouse, and then viewing from a distance from a nearby beach. Truly breathtaking views. And then one turns around and there are breathtaking views of Martha's Vineyard, Vineyard Sound, Elizabeth Island and the Wood Hole Passage.

A beautiful lighthouse placed on top of a grassy hill overlooking a rocky coast.
I rode my bike here from the bike trail last month and it was definitely worth it. You can tell that the lighthouse and property are really well kept. You are able to walk onto the property and take pictures by the lighthouse. There is also a trail across the street that leads down to the rocks along the coast where there are some nice spot to sit, relax, and take in the views.

We drove along the picturesque coastline of Cape Cod until we came across the Nobska Lighthouse set on a hill with breathtaking views of the ocean. The grounds are spotless and the buildings have been perfectly restored. This must be the most enchanting place at sunset and I can well imagine lots of wonderful moments have taken place here. If you venture across the road, you’ll follow a short path to a lovely monument and incredible views of the shimmering ocean. Whether you're a history buff, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a moment of serenity by the sea, a visit to this iconic landmark promises an experience that's nothing short of magical. What a fabulous place to be a lighthouse keeper!

Definitely go visit the Nobska Lighthouse in Wood’s Hole on Cape Cod. Located at the very bottom of the Cape, you will find so many wonderful things to see in Wood’s Hole in addition to the lighthouse. Cross the street from the lighthouse to view Martha’s Vineyard and the islands off Nantucket. Catch a ferry if you have the time

Was beautiful! I particularly love lighthouses! Don’t ask me why lol the parking is not the greatest, kinda have to be mindful of others and wait for a spot, but if you bike there you have no problem. The view is incredible, if you have the chance to go on a nice sunny day you can take spectacular photos. There is a tight little trail that leads to the rocks below, if you’re adventurous like me you’ll love to go explore. You can sit on the big rocks and just soak up all of it front row seat!

Beautiful lighthouse in a beautiful area. The lighthouse was closed for repairs the day we were in the neighborhood, but still got some cool pictures.
If you go when it’s busy, there is little to no parking available, and there is no room to park on the street. You may have to keep driving around until a spot opens up.

Sadly, the lighthouse was closed for repairs when we visited, but we explored the beach and surrounding areas, and the scenery was just absolutely breathtaking. The beach is a min down the very narrow street that has a lot of turns and pedestrians. You need a parking permit to park alongside the beach, but it's fine after 5 pm. Woods hole port and all the restaurants are only within couple min drive. So it's nice to spend the day on nobska beach and just head to the pier for dinner and some shopping.

The Shining Sea Bikeway is a well-maintained paved rail trail that can be used for various activities such as biking, rollerblading, jogging, and even cross-country skiing during season. The path runs alongside the ocean for a portion of its length and traverses some marshy terrain as well. It's an impressive bike path with extensive paving throughout its winding route.

Amazing 10 mile long bike and walking/running path. Completely car free, had to cross a few small roads but never had to ride along side the road at any point on the trail. Relatively flat with great views. Several parking lots along the path, search shining sea parking in google maps and the actual lots will show up. Most of the parking lots have water bottle refill stations which was convenient. Start on the north end and take a break in Woods Hole at one of the many restaurants there before returning. The most scenic section (in my opinion) was between West Falmouth and Woods Hole, with the marsh just south of the West Falmouth parking lot and a nice stretch of beach a little north of Woods Hole. So if looking for a shorter ride you could skip the most northern section, although it was nice and shaded since it was mostly lined with trees.

This trail is absolutely amazing. I started around Falmouth Main st and rented bikes. We had such a fun time biking on a paved well kept trail with fantastic scenery of ponds, beaches, and ending with a slice of pie at Pie in the Sky in Woods Hole. The coastline along the path reminded me of my travels to south France and was relatively uncrowded even for a pleasant sunny Sunday in July.
As a side note, there is some commentary that this is the wrong location. Personally, I rented bikes from Corner Cycle in Falmouth center and got to the trail from there. You can either go in north Falmouth or Woods Hole direction from there.

While vacationing with my family in the Falmouth section of Massachusetts, I came across the Shining Sea Bikeway. I was looking for a safe place to run that was away from street traffic and it seemed like the perfect place to do my run. As I ran through this trail, I became impressed with all the amazing amenities it had to offer. There were mile markers every half mile and various works of art peppered throughout the route. Everything along the route was made to cater to the cyclist. There were bathrooms, bike pumps, plenty of informational signage, and occasional picnic tables. There were even food establishments within a stone's throw of the route. I did some research and found out that the route was the site of an old train line that ended at the ferry at Wood's Hole. By 1975, the tracks were removed to make way for a recreation route for cyclists, runners, and walkers. I liked the fact that most of the route I ran had tree cover which protected me from the hot summer Sun. The total length of the route was 10.7 miles. I highly recommend the Shining Sea Bikeway, especially to those who love to cycle. The route is completely flat, so it's good for younger cyclists as well. And the amazing thing is that you can cycle it for 10.7 miles to the end, then take the ferry with your bike straight to Martha's Vineyard, then continue biking on the Vineyard. There are still parts of the route where you can see some of the old train tracks revealing how it once looked when the route was used for train travel. This was such an unexpected gem to find and I'm glad that I found it.

The Island Queen is a popular boat that offers a pleasant and comfortable cruise experience from Falmouth to Martha's Vineyard. The boat sails daily, taking about 35 minutes to cross the Vineyard Sound. It is the only cruise ship that regularly travels between Falmouth Harbor and Oak Bluffs. Travelers appreciate the ease of access and less hustle compared to other transportation options, making it an added bonus for day trips or vacations.
Easy and breezy trip! I would highly recommend the Island Queen Ferry. They are always on time with drop off even if they are a little late leaving. They have a large variety of food and drink options. They are also very flexible with the changing times or days for departure and arrival as needed. We have never needed to buy online. There is always enough space to buy tickets right before we board.

Trip going was great. The trip back was very crowded and we were packed like sardines waiting for the ferry. Always a pleasurable boat ride! It’s been a few years and still enjoy every-tine. I’m not sure who would travel any other way unless of course you had a personal boat. It’s so easily accessed and so much less of the hustle and bustle than traveling the steamship. Nothing against them but it just feels more pampering making it just an added bonus to your day trip/vacation. fortunately there are also multiple accommodations for parking your car with in walking distance location, personally why not? Who wants to be shuttled in 20min away from your route of travel, I also came across a private parking area 5min walking distance so if you get stuck give me a message and I’ll gladly share per his approval. Hope you all enjoy as much as I do!

If you don’t need to bring a car over to the Vineyard, and your destination on the island is Oak Bluffs, this is the way to get there! I travel over to Martha’s Vineyard a dozen times a year and the Island Queen has been the most reliable option for me. Parking on the mainland is convenient (although cash only prepay) and walking distance to the Ferry. The location of the Ferry on the Oak Bluffs side is in a great spot, walking distance to most OB attractions and the Bus. I highly recommend the Island Queen for a great reliable trip to and from Martha’s Vineyard!

The Island Queen Company is well organized to handle a large number of travelers. We were ushered into the parking lot ($20/day, cash only) and directed to the open spaces. It is then a walk of less than a hundred yards to the ticket booth and boat boarding. We had a smooth ride to Martha's Vinyard where we spent a few hours taking in the sights. Our return ferry was right on time and loading aboard went well, despite a large group of children day campers. Thanks to the Island Queen for a memorable and safe journey.

We really enjoyed our visit to the beautiful gardens and the fabulous antique car museum. This is a wonderful attraction. The cars were in amazing condition and the building was just perfect for viewing them. The detailed information about all of the cars was very informative and interesting. The car museum was amazing! Loves seeing all the cars so close. They change the cars out so want to go back and see the ones that were hiding in the garage.
My only warning is that you need to bring water with you. If you get thirsty on the trails your are out of luck. The water fountains are closed down.

The collection includes notable vehicles such as a 1909 Model T Ford, a 1931 Packard 840 Convertible, and a 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II. Each car is beautifully restored and preserved, showcasing the intricate details and unique features that made them such iconic pieces of automotive history.
The car collection is not just limited to cars, but also features several vintage motorcycles and bicycles. Visitors can take a stroll through the exhibit and admire the impressive engineering, design, and craftsmanship of these vintage vehicles.
One of the most striking aspects of the car collection is the attention to detail that has gone into each restoration. The cars are immaculately maintained and restored to their original glory, making it feel like you have stepped back in time.
In addition to the cars themselves, the exhibit provides information about the history and significance of each vehicle, giving visitors a deeper understanding and appreciation of their place in automotive history.
Overall, the car collection at Heritage Gardens is a must-see for anyone with an interest in classic cars and automobiles. The exhibit provides a fascinating look into the history of the automobile and showcases some of the most iconic vehicles of our time.

The Heritage Hydrangeas are sights to behold.. We were told that the Rhododendron are amazing too when flowering.
Volunteer guides are friendly and very knowledgeable. The Heritage History of Cape Cod museum is well worth a reflective pause as is the classic Automobile display. That ' 62 Corvette is priceless. How many Stanley Streamers are still around?
If you are with little ones, the carousel is fun.

93 degree day! Hot ,but we walked the gardens early and saved the Car exhibit , Carousel, and Cape Cod museum (All air conditioned,) for the end of the day. The workers there were all very friendly sharing bits of history and knowledge whenever we asked . The volunteers were also very knowledgeable and willing to share stories and facts. There were water stations that you could refill your bottles. Tables and benches were scattered throughout so a lunch could be brought in. A snack bar is on the premises but pricey $$$.We chose to eat off site at Captains Seafood Bar and Grill, 71 Tupper Rd Sandwich, MA Which was superb. We got library passes which let us in for half price $11 instead of the adult fare of &22

Went early May for a visit with family on Mother's Day. The grounds are always beautiful with well labeled plants and multiple paved, accessible pathways in addition to dirt and shell/gravel paths.
There is seating spread throughout, and a few areas designed for children that they were loving. Note that the Hollow, one children's area, is accessible but one must travel down a steep paved path. There is a huge tree-house in the Hollows area and lots of child-friendly hands on activities. As an adult, I enjoyed them as well.
There is a special exhibit museum and the car museum, both worth visiting. I love antique cars and Heritage has them displayed nicely.
The place has enough restrooms spread throughout, in buildings, plus a small food concession and a gift shop. It is making some renovations so the checking and gift shop area is less formal but it is all well marked and well staffed.
Check the website for what is in bloom and head to Heritage. Plan on spending 2 to 4 hours to walk, explore and relax. Highly recommend.

This was a fantastic, unbelievably fun activity! There are a ton of things to do from very old to a very young! There are interactive displays, unbelievably friendly and excited and helpful workers and immaculately maintained grounds. The trails range from paved and smooth to wooded to ground-up shell paths. There are water features that little kids can play with, an extra large sand area with shovels and rakes for a little kids, there are Rube Goldberg’s type activities. The exhibits are incredible. There is a wigwam and a world-class car collection. Unbelievably Simon – if you are even remotely, considering going, you will not be disappointed! 10 stars! Go!

I love visiting Heritage Museums and Gardens ! Springtime and Gardens Aglow are my personal favorites ! Sadly during my most recent visit, there was construction going on all over. Mountains if sand and large equipment I understand the need for funding but at what sacrifice ? Fewer songbirds ? Peace and serenity ? The gardens are still beautiful and there is a variety of flora but by increasing parking and admittance is certainly going to be detrimental to the ambiance. All in all - still worth a visit.

One of our favorite places on the planet. Beautiful botanical gardens, thoughtfully curated exhibits, a beautiful antique carousel, tasty food and cocktails - what's not to love?! We spend a full day exploring all Heritage Museum & Gardens has to offer. From "Hidden Hollow" activities for the kiddos (and those young at heart) to rare antique cars to flowers and fountains - this place has it all! Become members and return year after year. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely walk in the gardens and then came up on the wonderful Impressionists exhibit. Nature and art in one visit was wonderful. One of the young women working at the exhibit also shared some amazing history of the artists as well. It became a community of art appreciation very quickly. I went with a friend. I plan to return soon with my husband.

Great place to spend a day! We went in late April and there was lots to see. Enjoyed the auto museum as well! Definitely a must do!

The museum has multiple buildings covering a large area, with a beautiful garden to walk through in-between. They specialize in Hydrangeas and Rhododendrons. There is an old Carousel, which is operational, great docents with lots of information. There is an extensive car exhibit and a children's play area, which most young families went straight to. There is a building that houses the history of Cape Cod's changes that came with tourism. Great for museum lovers! There are vehicles to drop you off in some areas if you don't want to walk too much.

This is a must see if you are visiting the Cape. My family and I were on Cape Cod for the weekend and started our day at the Heritage Museum & Gardens based on a couple recommendations from some co-workers who are local to the area. And they were right. It was really fantastic. Such fun exploring and seeing all of the classic cars in the auto museum. My kids loved exploring the grounds following the trails with their maps to find the maze, tree house and more. The grounds are in exquisite condition. So beautifully maintained.
We enjoyed a lunch at the café which was perfect as we were all pretty hungry after all of the exploring and hiking. I strongly recommend a visit regardless of your age, and make it a must see if you have kids. Great experiences there for the little ones (12 and under). We will definitely return on our next visit to the Cape!

This place is incredibly beautiful. I stopped by here on the drive home from a Cape Cod vacation, but it ended up being a highlight of the trip! The flowers and sights are gorgeous and abundant. We saw cute little baby turtles on the lily pads by the flume. The museum on Cape Cod tourism history was very engaging and gave a welcome rest from the summer heat. I loved the food at the cafe as well - it was surprisingly delicious and they had lots of healthy options! I would love to come here again during other times of the year to see how the flowers and trees change. 5 stars, you HAVE to come here if you're in the area.

Nice place to walk and relax. There are plenty of benches around the park where I can imagine myself reading a book there. It was going to rain when we came so we had to be mindful of our time.
There were not many flowers yet, as the weather is pretty unpredictable this year. Was hoping we could see hydrangea but we came too early.
Overall, it’s a huge garden, easy parking, and plenty of room for kids especially to run around.

It is hard for me to think of a more perfectly lit wedding ceremony, than the one were were invited to photograph here at the Heritage Museums and Gardens. The couple had their ceremony down by the waterfall sculpture, and it felt so private and dramatic all at the same time. The rest of the day was just as sweet, and we were overwhelmed with the amount of really cool locations we could photograph in.
The Sandwich Glass Museum is a small, but informative glass museum dedicated to the history of glassmaking in Cape Cod. The museum houses a wide variety of rare glass pieces, many of which are for sale in the gift shop. The museum is a great place to learn about the region's rich glassmaking history and its importance to Cape Cod culture.
We had a wonderful time here. The museum is impressive. It has lots of beautiful glass pieces, a fascinating history, a fantastic gift shop, two special exhibitions about lighting and electricity, and an interesting glassblowing demonstration. It is one of the best places to visit on Cape Cod.

The Sandwich Glass museum took me by surprise... It is much larger and much, much nicer than I could have imagined. It shows a fascinating slide of local history, and I really enjoyed myself tremendously. Not only are the historical exhibits excellent, well lit, well signed (and occasionally, narrated), there are modern pieces that are innovative, beautiful, and fun, as well as live demonstrations. It was great!

Have visited here many times. Filled with the history of Sandwich, fascinating glass blowing demonstrations and beautiful gift shop. I ended up buying a glass bowl by Kate, who happened to be the person demonstrating how to do glass blowing the day I was there. You will not be disappointed.

I absolutely loved the Sandwich Glass Museum. It is chock full of glassware and by the local glass company in particular. We must have spent close to two hours there but could have spent more. I will need to visit it again to view the items towards the end that I just did not have time for. I also loved the live demonstration. They also sell very beautiful items in the store. I will definitely recommend this for people to go and see

Went to visit the gift shop. Will try to actually visit the museum next time. Beautiful artistry on display. Would love to learn the details of the long history or glass making in Sandwich. My mom always loved Cranberry Glass and the Cape. They also have books of Cape related items in the shop as well.

When you are on Cape Cod, visiting the Sandwich Glass Museum is a must on your list. The town is so unique with a rich history of glass making. There is a demonstration free every hour to enjoy and then the rich history to explore of how glass making came to the colonies. There was a great movie to explain the history of the glass company in Sandwich.
We really enjoyed the live demonstration of creating a glass pumpkin. I ended up buying a smaller one in the gift shop. I love the different textures on the pumpkin. Also, the vibrant color.
While in the middle of the history movie, a bus or two arrived. I wish the people from the bus waited for the next showing instead of walking in and disturbing the people already in the show.
The exhibits were interesting, seeing several designs of the same item. Also, guessing what a piece was made for was entertaining and then reading about it.
The location was in a village area and very quaint.

Really great museum of the history of glass making in the area plus they do demos of glass making. It’s definitely larger than I expected and some really great pieces of glass.
Definitely recommend checking the place out. Give yourself at least 1 hour so you can catch a demo and take your time going through the museum.

Totally enjoyed our FIVE STAR visit to the Sandwich Glass Museum. As a North Carolinian, I had no idea about the history of glass production in this region, nor the wide variety of beautiful products created over the decades. The museum contains thousands of items, large and small, active demonstrations, a brief video presentation, and more. Highly recommended if you're in the Cape Cod / Boston region.

The John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum is a historic museum dedicated to the life and times of President John F. Kennedy and his family. The museum features rotating exhibits that focus on different aspects of JFK's life, including his childhood on Cape Cod, his time as president, and the years leading up to his assassination.
Our visit to the John F. Kennedy Museum was a highlight of our stay in Hyannis and was within walking distance of our hotel.
The museum had very many pictures and mementos of our beloved past President and the Kennedy family. Visiting the museum made me feel a part of the history and legacy of our nation. This is my second visit to the museum and I loved every minute of both visits.
Donna Holland — Google review
The museum had information on John, Jacqueline and Bobby Kennedy from the White House years and when they were growing up. They had couple of good things, like a timeline of world events while John was a president and a Kennedy family tree which was useful. I was a little disappointed however, I somehow expected more. How about an outfit from Mrs Kennedy? She was such a fashion icon, that would be really nice. Or how about gloves, hat or pears? The video is really old since it was narrated by Walter Cronkite.

Insight into JFK's relationship with the family summer house at Hyannis in Cape Cod. Three rooms paying tribute to Robert Kennedy and Jacqueline as well as JFK.
well presented with video and old newspaper accounts of the presidential contest, summer holidays as president and even meetings of his government in the compound.
Very enjoyable and although we visited from Australia with no plans I was surprised to find this museum. Complemented. Y visit to Dallas and visiting the museum there that tells of the assassination.

We stopped by the neighboring Hyannis Public Library to get free tickets to this museum with our CLAMS library card. The museum was a great visit, especially for free. I do wish they had more artifacts and I did find some variations in the exhibit text from panel to panel but overall, it was well done. Worth a visit!

Very nice tribute to President John F. Kennedy, the family man. Statue of President Kennedy in front of the museum gives a close up perspective of him as the great man he was. Statue of Little John saluting his father as his funeral passed him by inside. The iconic picture from popular magazine of the time. Brought tears to my eyes, and my heart sunk at first sight. Beautiful family photos and stories. I was 9 years old that fateful day, but I remember sitting in my 4th grade class and our Principal, Sister Marie bursting into our class announcing: " The president has been shot! Let's all stand and pray!"

This is a lovely little museum that is definitely worth visiting during a trip to the Cape. It is small, so it won't take a ton of your time. The museum is mostly filled with photos depicting JFK and the Kennedy family's time at their home away from home. It was very enjoyable and the employees were friendly. I recommend arriving right when it opens because it is a small museum and it does get crowded quickly.

Interesting exhibit on the Kennedy family’s relationship with their Cape Cod home. Tons of photos and a family tree. Insights into JFK but also other family members. The museum also had an exhibit on Bobby Kennedy and JFK’s son. I particularly enjoyed learning about how JFK liked to spend his downtime. The museum has items and stories beyond the political. Well worth a visit.

When I was a kid in the early 70s, my parents took us to vacation on the Cape. It was a magical place because of the beach but it also had that magical feeling because of the legacy of the Kennedy family. As an adult, my husband and I thought it was fitting to pay our respects to not only the family but to a much beloved president. Very informative. Loved the timelines and photographs. My favorite part of the museum, the wonderful statue out front! Very recommended!

This is a small museum giving visitors an intimate look at the Kennedy’s. It was interesting to see family photographs I had never seen before, and to feel physically connected to them by being in Hyannis.
There is limited space, so do not expect there to be tons of artifacts! This is an abbreviated view of their lives. Kennedy family members are obviously involved and contributing to the museum.
The John F. Kennedy Memorial is a serene and peaceful tourist attraction located in Hyannis, Massachusetts, overlooking Lewis Bay. The memorial features beautiful landscaped gardens, a small pool, and a fountain which offer visitors a tranquil experience. For those who do not want to walk the JFK trail, there is a trolley bus that runs up and down Main Street free of charge.
Great place.. was very disappointed with the fact there were no flags on any of the flagpoles! Very sad to see. Poor leadership on who runs the memorial. Hyannis chamber of commerce

We came here at night. Parts of the area were well lit, but oddly enough ought not the memorial where there are things to read. So that was a little disappointing. Great view of the harbor.
It is a short 5 minute walk from the Ocean Street docks. You ha e to cross the street at the docks for the sidewalk and then cross the street again to get to the memorial.

Just remember, it is a memorial and not a museum. For what it was, it was perfect.
Your best bet is to park at the beach and enjoy the memorial for the 15 minutes it takes to see everything and then enjoy the scenery on the shore.

I don’t like giving this four stars, as I was very moved when I got there/walked around. The only reason I am is because there’s just really nothing to do. There’s a cute lil’ old man selling hats 🧢 for $20 bucks inside a tiny booth; but other than that and the scenic water view, there just isn’t much. I’d say 20 minutes here would be stretching it before you get the itch to go on and leave. It’s so sad, because I know Dallas has some amazing places to honor JFK. I was hoping Hyannis would compare. Oh well— as you can see, we had one of the most beautiful days EVER to go, and the skies were like something out of a painting. The picture I took of those homes are right on Ocean St. pulling out of the memorial— I thought they were pretty picturesque!! Just give it a stop, selfie, and go if you get a chance! ♥️

This is a nice memorial. I went here while visiting Hyannis and was satisfied with my experience. This memorial commemorates John F Kennedy and it has a pillar with an engraving of his head on it. This pillar is in a small, circular plaza surrounded by flags. I gave this memorial five stars because it’s in a nice, small park with a great view of Hyannis Harbor.

Kalmus Park Beach is located less than 2 miles south of the center of Hyannis and offers two beaches in one. The beach on Lewis Bay is calm with warm water, while the ocean beach on Nantucket Sound has surfing opportunities. The amenities include a good bathhouse with showers and toilets, seasonal lifeguards, snack stand and proximity to Veterans Park Beach and John F Kennedy Memorial. Visitors can enjoy swimming, windsurfing or relaxing at this sandy beach.

Great food truck options and beers. The oysters were fantastic and as fresh as they can be. Logistics is not very intuitive as people will storm in and occupy the best tables. Get a table first, then the food, then the drinks.

Really fun place for everyone. Huge selection of great brews. There are multiple food vendors on site as well. Millie's is good though their original location on the west side of the island is better and has more options. The oyster guys are have good variety as well. I highly recommend the scallop ceviche and the oysters. The clams were a bit sandy for me. Cocktail sauce runs sweet, like ketchup, so ask for extra horseradish. Mignonette is really acidic and delicious despite the artificially red color

The Whaling Museum is a must-visit attraction on the island of Nantucket. Housed in an 1847 candle factory, the museum showcases exhibits that depict the island's heyday as a whaling center in the 19th century. Visitors can view fascinating scrimshaw displays, which are engravings and carvings made by sailors on ivory or whalebone. The highlight of the museum is a 46-foot sperm whale skeleton towering above everything else.
Dont miss the the sepia tone FILM of actual whaling voyages in the ground floor exhibit room. And take the lift to the Observation Deck for a stunning view of Nantucket harbor and Sound.

Large, clean, well-organized museum depicting the life of Nantucket men back in the 1700's. Whaling was a very dangerous, filthy disgusting career that kept men away from home for 3 years at a time - IF they ever returned home. This museum gave us a history lesson we were never taught in our educational system.

Everyone Who visits Nantucket should make a trip to the Whaling Museum. Is an excellent opportunity to learn about the history of the island and the people who made it what it is. Although the whaling, as a practice, ended on the island 150 years ago, there is lots of rich history in the museum.

The film they show on the half hour is also a nice watch - gives a great background on the history. Roof Walk is a must-do. The museum gift shop is great - the prices are VERY reasonable - especially compared to many other shops in town.

Really incredible museum that does a fantastic job of highlighting the whole history of the island, not just whaling! Every display piece was laid out with care and had easy to read descriptions for each. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and I highly recommend listening to their lectures or striking up a conversation on a favorite piece. My personal favorite section was the gallery of residences and founders.

This was an awesome way to start our adventure on Nantucket. Tons of information. Not only about whales but for the whole town. It's $25.00 for adults. They have a full size whale skeleton on display. I loved their rooftop. You could see the whole down town. They also had some tables and chairs to sit and relax on. They also have elevators. Great museum. I had my bookbag with me and I was asked to keep it in their closet. I learned a lot.

All the locals told me I must go to the museum I went it was interesting to see the history and culture of this island. A gentleman that was a actor acting out an average day on a ship was very much into his character and he was aggravated that I was holding myself on. Make sure you put all your cell phones away when he performs or he will call you out. Overall really nice experience if you're in town definitely do it once. Make sure you go upstairs to the roof and check out the view.

The massive sperm whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling is a showstopper, reminding visitors of the majesty and might of these leviathans. Coupled with knowledgeable docents and interactive displays, the museum ensures an immersive experience for history buffs and curious minds alike. A trip to Nantucket would be incomplete without understanding its whaling heritage, and this museum is the perfect gateway. Highly recommended for an insightful and enriching experience and make sure you go all the way up top for a great view of the town!

Great place to visit. I wish I had more time to take it all in. Tons of exhibits and history to soak up. The whaling presentation was well put together and engaging. I'll hopefully be back some day to give it the time it deserves.

Excellent museum and an extraordinarily friendly staff. The exhibits were well done and provided a lot of information. There were also a lot of special talks and experiences for visitors. This is a must see!!
James Hamilton — Google review
We visited on a rainy day in Nantucket. I went in knowing nothing about whaling and left fascinated by this dangerous and now defunct industry. I downloaded the audio tour on my phone which helped me navigate the exhibits. The live talk was also great and very well done. All touch screens were functional, museum well maintained. My only critique is the audio tour was not well demarcated at times; there was not a lot of direction where to go next.

If you are thinking about coming to the whaling museum, I’ll give you a few reasons why you absolutely should:
1. The museum is interesting, fun, and enjoyable to spend time in. It’s interesting because the way the curators tell the story of whaling and the history of the island is done extremely well. It’s fun because the information is accessible and can be interpreted by a wide range of age groups, and it’s enjoyable because there is so much to learn and so much history involved in the process that made Nantucket what it is today.
2. You can tell there was a lot of work that went into the exhibits, it shows. As you move through the spaces in the museum it’s almost like entering a storybook. You are transported to the places in the story they are telling. This was impressive to me but my kids absolutely loved it. This place will spark the imagination.
3. There is an accessible roof area that will give you 360 degree views of the historic downtown and the water. It’s incredible beautiful.
4. The staff is friendly and helpful. Normally ticket prices are 20 for an adult and children under six are free. The staff is knowledgeable about the museum and will give you the inside information on what to see.
5. There is an incredible children’s section of the museum. This is a fantastic place to take kids if you are a parent. They also have a photo booth that you can take family photos in and they are free to email to yourself.
Note: No food or drink.
So, if you are thinking of coming here I’d definitely recommend going. Feel free to look at the photos of the space that I added. It should give you a good idea of what you are getting into.
The Brant Point Lighthouse is an historic lighthouse located in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The tower was established in 1746 and still operates today. It is quite small, standing at just 26 feet tall, but its scenic location makes it a popular spot for wedding photos.
Beautiful little lighthouse, with a small beach. There were people fishing off the rocks when we were there. We could see the lighthouse on the ferry back to Hyannis. Also, a beautiful sunset.
Kay-Kay M. — Google review
Beautiful old lighthouse with the cutest little beach to watch the boats and ferries pass by.
Christopher Henderson-West — Google review
Seems to be one of the most popular places for photos, It seems there is always someone around here either fishing, enjoying the view, taking a relaxing stroll along the beach or taking photos of incoming boats. Quite peaceful to just sit down and enjoy an hour.

The oldest lighthouse on Nantucket and the second oldest in the USA! Such a cool piece of history and the area has fantastic views of the harbor. You can even see the Old North and South Churches! The water is real calm and it makes for an awesome fishing spot! It is probably the best place to watch boats come and go from the harbor! When the ferry passes by everyone waves! This is a must see when on the Island!

Cute little lighthouse right by the main Nantucket harbor, a 10-15-minute walk from the city center.
The lighthouse is on a small beach and a nice wooden walkway in front of it, making it great for some nice pictures. Great lighting at sunset. Maybe at sunrise too, but that's usually too early for me 😅
Nicolas Depauw — Google review
Such a beautiful little lighthouse. There are beautiful pink and white flowers dotting the beach along the wall to the lighthouse, and this beach is perfect for collecting seashells and watching the sail boats. Loved our walk here!

Great spot for sunrise pictures. Exactly as I had pictured it. What happened to the flag attached to the ocean side?

Enjoyed the view from the ferry as it seemed to offer up the best vantage point. It is just a short walk from downtown but my feet were pretty worn out at the end of the day. Plenty of people fishing out here and some beautiful wood sailing boats anchored off shore.

If you want to check out a lighthouse close to town this is the place to go! Easy to get to and parking available, this is a quick one stop shop to see a lighthouse, look at some shells on the beach, and enjoy the scenery.
One thing I really enjoy about this place is the proximity to restaurants and coffee. The lighthouse is beautiful and it’s just easily accessible. Well worth going.

A very beautiful experience visiting Nantucket Island. People are friendly and the history in this town is just amazing! Totally worth getting here by car from Boston.
Herring Cove Beach boasts an unending expanse of serene sandy beaches, some monitored by lifeguards and equipped with parking facilities and modern amenities. The area is perfect for hiking, with a vast array of colorful rocks extending from the shoreline into the water basin. Though located at a distance from the lighthouse, it is still visible. Visitors may encounter dead birds, crabs and other unknown creatures on their walks along this beach.
This beach is very beautiful and it’s a great place to hike. The rocks are very colorful and there are a large variety of them extending from the shore to the basin of water. I really wanna make that bass in my lazy river! There was a lighthouse distance away but too far for us to seem to walk to. Also, many dead things including birds crabs and questionable creatures.

Most spectacular beach spot on the Cape. Family tradition for almost 40 years. They've done incredible work to preserve it too. A useful tip to any new visitors...water shoes make the rocky shore so much more enjoyable. Thank you for a picture perfect week.

Excellent beach along the ocean coast (not the shore), with much calmer and warmer waters than other beaches on this side. Plenty of parking and very long sandy coast. Beautiful sunset. $ 25 Daily fee for this National Seashore Beach (Federal), but for $60 one get a seasonal pass (on the spot) for this beach and all other Cape Code National Seashore ones.

A gorgeous beach that was pretty quiet during mid October, but still with beautiful weather. Absolutely worth the trip if you’re in Provincetown.

One of my favorite beaches for sunsets. Its can be a long enjoyable drive right to this end point of the cape but the dance of colors during sunset with the panaromic view of the distant lighthouse, can be so dramatic that i have mostly come back extremely satisfied. Plenty parking space. Doesn't seem to get too crowded as most people might be headed to other nearby beaches or maybe it is so after 3-4pm 😃

An incredible beach! There is soooo much space, so you are bound to have your own section if you so desire. The parking lot is very convenient as it has nice bathrooms and showers and a small cafe/restaurant. Pack the towel and sunscreen and get yourself to Herring Cove Beach!

Gorgeous beaches out here but the water is always cold very isolated out here

A beautiful beach! $25 to enter. We went late June and it was pretty quiet. We basically had a whole section to ourselves, even in the afternoon. Big parking lot. The facilities were nice and clean. Just be warned that the snack bar is not open on the weekdays. Only other complaint is that the changing rooms do not have any curtains or privacy.

Long trek to get to the "boy's" section of the beach but it was well worth the walk. Great day in the sun, fun surf, clean water, nice beach.

Herring Cove is one of the best beaches in PTOWN. It’s smaller than Race Point, but quieter and cleaner. It’s absolutely great for the sunset.
The long, wide beach of Race Point is located in Wellfleet, Massachusetts within the Cape Cod National Seashore. The public beach is a popular spot for sunbathers due to its ample sunshine all day long, but swimming is not recommended for novice swimmers due to rough water conditions and an undertow.
Didn't know this was actually a national park. We arrived and saw $25 fee per car but the ranger said because we were arriving at the end of the day he wouldn't charge us. It's a large beach with sand dunes everywhere which are roped off so you can't go in them. The sand is very course and alot of interesting rocks are up and down the beach. While we were there a group of seals came up and down the shore

Great beach! Sand was soft, not a lot of rocks or shells! Water wasn’t too cold, it wasn’t extremely crowded, it was a great day!

One of my favorite beach experiences ever! I was only there for an hour @ Race Point, but during the visit I saw about 35 seals swimming close to shore AND THEN about 200 yards out, a humpback whale breached 3 times!! I was so excited, experiencing that for the very first time. Love this place.
RTM — Google review
Loved this beach! First timer to the Cape and wanted a more secluded feel instead of the main crowded beaches. Race Point did not disappoint. Unless you have a National Parks pass then you'll pay an entry fee but it's definitely worth it. Great for families! Went on the Tuesday following July 4th and there was lots of space.

I didn’t like the beach that much . I heard it’s the best beach in cape cod but sorry to say that we have good beaches in NJ. This beach has lots of stones and we Cudnt stay in the water because of it . Too many stones and pointy ones . Our feet were hurting !!!! A total disappointment!!! The entry fee is $25. Beautiful sand dunes and beach Looks cool from far . There is changing room and showers head to clean up . Nothing to eat on beach . You have to drive 10 min to find a restaurant to eat . So Better plan that way. Eat something first and then go to beach . Kids had fun on the beach shore . We saw seals on the shore !! It was a sight to watch .

This is a nice beach. I went here while visiting Cape Cod and was satisfied with my experience. This is a large, expansive beach stretching to the tip of the Cape Cod peninsula. This beach has nice, soft yellow sand, and there’s plenty of room for beach goers to lounge and lie down. When I went here over Easter several people were walking along the beach. There’s plenty of parking here, a lighthouse at the end of the beach which I didn’t see, and a sea rescuer museum open during the summer. I gave this beach five stars because it’s a large, beautiful beach with nice water and plenty of room to relax.

The Provincetown Museum is a local museum that features exhibits about the region's cultural and maritime history. The tower, which is 252 feet tall and rises 350 feet above sea level, is located on the site of the first landing of the Mayflower Pilgrims in 1620. The museum also contains an Euro-centric collection of artifacts related to Provincetown history.
Opening day for the pilgrim monument and museum. I took my children for a ride on the new funicular. We explored the museum then took the funicular back down we've been many times over the years but we had to experience the new funicular. And we loved all of it!
Jeri Joy — Google review
Had a lot of history about the Pilgrims I didn't know. I remember going to Plymouth as a teenager and didn't realize this was here. The climb up the tower was challenging carrying my 18mo old. Bring quarters if you want to use the binoculars at the top.
Jacob Wernicke — Google review
I liked the exhibits. You will need at least 2 hours to see all the exhibits in detail. At $14 it looks a bit expensive but at the end I found it worth. Lot of historical information about Provincetown. I would recommend this place if you like to see museums in general. They have parking and i think parking fee is compensated with entry fee to museum. I walked to this place.
Vikram Karandikar — Google review
You can only get close to the monument through the museum. Being the off season the memorial was closed so we could not get in to walk up the tower.
It is still impressive and the lower area has a memorial of the signing of the Mayflower Compact.

Exceeded expectations! Highly recommended!
I wasn't thrilled about climbing a SUPER TALL TOWER (a heights thing) but am so glad I did. The climb is NOT scary. There is a walled ramp and stairs (that you cannot see through) to the top. Its good exercise for sure. There is a feeling of joy when you reach the top.
The views are STUNNING. Loved every minute.
The museum is so interesting and informative. Loved it. Beautiful Art work and historical displays. Plus a piano player!...and a gift shop with unique items.
Also the new incline "elevator" was super fun!
I left thinking that I am so glad I visited the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum!
The lively commercial street in Provincetown is full of quirky shops, restaurants, galleries and cafes. The heart of town's activity takes place here, with lots of fun to be had walking along the street or exploring the many interesting establishments. It is home to most of P-towns main businesses and it has a relaxed atmosphere that is sure to make you feel at home.
Very charming, beautiful views of ocean, amazing food options and affordable shops

Provincetown is my favorite town on the Cape. It is right on the end, and there is so much to do there. The main street is so cute with all of the little shops and restaurants, and there is a little rock pathway that you can walk on near the beach. It is a really cool place, and I would highly recommend taking the time for at least a day trip there!

Charming area for walking and shopping. So many things to see, can walk slowly, pet friendly. Only critique is why not make it a walking street only. The street is quite narrow and with the volume of people and cars it could be dangerous.

Walking-trail maps, exhibits & hands-on games in the visitor center of a wildlife refuge.
Neat place to go for a hike, some of the trails were wiped out due to erosion so you have to start the hike by going through a neighborhood. Signs were easy to follow to get to the trails but once you get down to them the signs become less prevalent so it's a bit tougher to follow. Still worth a visit but maybe take a picture of the map before you go.

Absolutely lovely place! Let’s keep it that way. Bring a bag to pick up any litter that may have washed up. There weren’t many birds this time of year, but the plants and local ecology was wonderful.

Trail out to amazing views! Went during low tide (after 3pm) not sure many of them areas I explored would be accessible during high tide. Area reads as private and off limits, even getting up to the designated parking area (then about 10 min walk back down the road and up past the “no unauthorized motorized vehicles” to the trailhead. The confusion is clearly by design, but I understand as they area is remote and very clean. My fav trail/beach explore area on the cape. Periodically scan for ticks and use bug spray, lots of bugs!

Can't get there from here.
Park. Exit the lot. Go to the end of the way, turn left, go to through the private residence white gates and follow the road straight until you get to the private path sign. Turn left down the path to the loop trail.
Beachy fun, but not really special. Wellfleet Audoban Refuge was more interesting.

Coming here to visit during low tide is a lot of fun. The Visitor's Center was closed, so we didn't get to stop in. You do have to park and then walk along the road to get to the trails. We did more exploring on the shoreline; you should wear walking sandals, water shoes or be prepared to take your shoes off if you decide to explore the tidal flats. Great place to see birds and seals if it's low tide and not super misty outside.
Zachary Pickett — Google review
Pretty place. Far 1/2 mile walk through a private neighborhood full of millionaires. But keep focused on the goal of an amazing trail next to the beach. Plan to go on low or near low tide for more beach access. Don't get the idea that you're going to swim out into the water far, huge drop off.
Nice quiet area with lots of nature protected by our fine government.

Wow! What an amazing place! You can already tell it was going to be a unique experience just driving here. The scenery was breathtaking and the place feels like "members only."
Unfortunately, I was disappointed they closed off the trail from the parking lot due to erosion. The provided an alternate route to get onto the trail that loops through the residential area with the huge mansions lining each side. Some big houses indeed!
The trail was nice and loops to the beach. I read there were mnaybseal sightings in the area but I didn't see any during my hike. Maybe next time.
What can be more relaxing than hiking on a beach on a crisp autumn day with no one else in sight except the sounds of the ocean.

this place sort of is hidden, and following the small roads that say private in gated communities one does feel like one is trespassing LOL but once you see the signs, you know that you are not, and they do have a restroom. The path that goes down 0 into the brush that shows the beach is worth it but if you are mobility-impaired I would not take that on. you can see lots of the dunes and the majestic beaches of Chatham, you just can't touch them!
Ashley T — Google review
Really beautiful place to walk. Be sure to follow signs for entrance and trail access - things are marked pretty well. You need to drive past a sign that says “Quitnesset Private
property” and then take a left when you see the sign for the refuge. Some things are closed due to Covid so no visitors center or restrooms - just so you can plan accordingly. Views are really spectacular even from the areas around the parking lot. The trails are mostly sand and through dunes so be aware to check for ticks.

The Chatham Lighthouse, built in 1877 along with its twin, is located on Coast Guard property in Cape Cod. It is a functional lighthouse that stands next to the Coast Guard house and boat. In 1923, one of the pair of lighthouses was relocated from its original location. The winter season offers a different ambiance to the beach where the lighthouse stands.
We enjoyed the scenery, and took an opportunity to stroll the beach to take in the beauty of Cape Cod. The Chatham Lighthouse is a functional lighthouse on US Coast Guard property. A beautiful lighthouse next to the Coast Guard house, and right near by the Coast Guards boat.

An awesome space to enjoy the sea, and appreciate a history lesson of the United States. There is wheelchair accessible parking conveniently located to the beach and lighthouse viewing. To our experience we could not access the beach via a ramp. There were long steps and no beach sand mats to allow mobility aids to easily go over the sand. It is still a beautiful sight to see. The lighthouse was closed when we visited so we could only appreciate it from outside the gates. It was still wonderful to see!

Beautiful views of the coast. You also see the effects of erosion. Signage tells about the effects of nature and ties it in to how the towers here were quickly in jeopardy of falling into the ocean. Interesting fact how lives were saved from the Titanic disaster by the radio signals relayed by the station. Unfortunately, the visitor center was closed here when we visited. The plus was since we came in October, our visit was free.

A really nice overlook though sadly almost all the original towers have decayed and are now gone. This is a great place to take a walk, see the ocean and learn a little history. There are a couple of walkways and viewing areas with interesting signage telling about both Marconi and the local environment. You can also walk on the White Cedar Swamp Trail from this parking lot. There is nothing left of the actual equipment, but there are a few signs and a great view of the atlantic.
Marconi Beach is a picturesque and popular beach located on the outer Cape Cod. It offers scenic hiking paths, a bicycle trail, and an observation platform for visitors to enjoy. The beach is named after famous Italian inventor Guglielmo Marconi who chose this area due to its elevated barren landscape to set up his wireless communication station.
Beautiful beach and amazing parking. The beach has bathrooms and water available. There are a lot of steps that go down to the beach, so be prepared for that. It is fun to play in the ocean and there’s so a lot of sand and relatively few rocks! Go! The beach is huge!

I surely recommend this beach to others. I go every summer to Cape Cod and this beach is one of the traditions. The waves can be very harsh at points but are great for swimming and surfing. The bathrooms don't have the best quality, like most beaches. I found large mosquitoes in the stalls. Make sure you expect a crowd of people. Otherwise, this beach is great for Cape Cod locals or anybody!👍

Beautiful and clean beach. Lots of deep sand. Only downfall is the steps (6 flights) to get down to beach and back up to parking. Lots of parking. Seals can be seen in the water. Showers and dogs are allowed.

Good amount of parking and the sand was super soft! We also saw several large seals only a few feet off the coast which was really cool.

This is one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches. If you don't want to be surrounded by a lot of people all you need to do is take a short walk in either direction once you descend the stairs and you'll find only sea lions playing in the ocean. Solitude and the sound of the crashing waves makes a visit to this beach magical.

This is the prettiest of the beaches I saw in Cape Cod and has a storied history, being the place from which the first transatlantic radio message was sent. The parking is free and the trails are well-maintained. There is a very nice high platform to take pictures.

Beautiful beach. We came here hoping to see a few shark fins, unfortunately (or not) it wasn't the day to see them. Anyhow there was a great view and a seal swam right up to where we were standing with our feet in the water.

Amazing views and miles of sandy beach. There are plenty of seals to watch here also. You need a sticker to park but we like to come after 5 pm because it is free to park. Plus it is like you have the place to yourself. A great beach either way!

Visited this beach twice while on vacation. Great beach to hang out for the day! The view is amazing and we enjoyed watching the seals that kept swimming by. The rocks that wash up can really hurt your feet and ankles so be careful when entering and exiting the water! Also make sure you bring your bug spray to keep the sand flies from biting you.
We also loved the hiking trails and the overlooks!

Hike from the car! Only take what you want to bring back up a couple flights of stairs! But listening to the rocks roll in the waves is fantastic 🥰 we also saw 2 seals? Sea lions hanging out in the water 😮😎 they were there for the entire 3-4 hours

Wow. AmAYYzing.
If you like waves, wow.
Bring the protective shoes for there are many small rocks and pebbles.
Water was 62°F. But once in, you adapt fast to the cold water temp.
Saw 1 seal from far 😅
Other than that WOW wow wow
Loveeeeeeed it

Sandy! And windy!
But absolutely worth it!
I was pleasantly surprised by the visit to Cape Cod on a wet and rainy day. Even in inclement weather Cape Cod and Marconi Beach is definitely worth a visit.
Let the sand penetrate you sandals, the wind clean your hair, and the rain rinse the grime and mental dirt of your preoccupied mind - Marconi Beach is great destination in all weather

Very beautiful beach located at the bottom of a hill. We saw a whale and some seals swimming really close to the beach, the only thing missing was the sharks 😆. Parking is paid ($20/day) and there are showers, toilets and changing rooms.
