Hands down the best course I have played in Idaho or the area. Great condition, GPS on the carts. There is a lot of native grass, but no water which is a little different. I love to walk when I play but would not want to walk this course as it’s very spread out. Wish I would have taken more photos though. Also Bluetooth speakers on the carts which is very nice. Fairways probably impressed me more than anything else. Will hopefully make it back next year!

Exceptional golf and easily the best course in Idaho. The practice area alone is top tier with a separate short game area and full driving range. The course was in pristine condition and presented a lot of challenges or choices on how you could play each hole. The rolling wheat hills were beautiful and separated each hole so that you really can't see another fairway from your current hole. The par 3s were very long but had stunning downhill views (200 yards from the white tees). Greens weren't rolling very fast when I played it, which was fine with me but some of the greens weren’t in the best of shape if I had any complaint at all. Also practice green was closed. Got to see a moose and a calf walk across the 10th fairway which was special. Played here twice and both rounds were under 4 hours which was pleasing. Pro shop had a pretty big selection of goods and the staff was nice. If you are ever in this part of the country this course is a MUST play. Especially for the price, this course is way better than Coeur d'Alene resort course (circling raven is less than half the price of CDA resort). Come check it out you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful course! Had a great girls weekend! Only wished we had known that our cart wasn't allowed to leave the path due to an upcoming tournament! It was almost like walking 18 holes!

Love this place ❤ The people here are awesome Clubhouse is fantastic.! The driving range is one of a kind and the best I've ever been at. This course blows the Cda course out of the water.! Just awesome and I love to golf here. P.S. the food is delicious...!!!

Excellent course that will test your short game and also your putting game. Nice views, and pro shop, food was pretty good. Can't wait to play again, around $120 for a round.

Amazing golf course ⛳️ I would rate it the best in the area. It is a very long course if you are walking if you are carting they have really nice gps carts. The practice facility is huge and the pro-shop has everything. We took the kids for a practice round and we were the only ones on the course pretty much it was amazing 🤩 highly suggest this course

The scope a size of this course is enormous. I love that the course is in front of you. No blind/trick shot necessary. Generous fairways for a short hitter like me. Played from white tees it was less intimidating for a first time player. Good distances between holes. Very fair price.

Played at circling raven for the first time yesterday and I’ve gotta say it exceeded expectations on all fronts. The course was amazing, the practice facility was top tier the staff was welcoming and friendly the food was priced extremely well for the quality. the pro shop had everything you could ask for and more. Will be making the trip again with out any hesitations.

Wow! All I can say is wow! This course was amazing! The groundskeepers did an OUTSTANDING job! The clubhouse was amazing and Jordan at the front desk of the clubhouse was very helpful! Can’t wait to come back! Seriously haven’t golfed in over 10 years and I had such and amazing time! The carts were pretty awesome, the service ON the course was epic and it was just an all out Amazing opportunity, Connie Jacobs, thank you so much for helping us experience this wonderful time!

Outstanding facility, easily one of the best in the PNW. The course is excellent and when we played (August '23) the conditioning was impeccable. Practice facilities are great too. As far as the clubhouse goes probably one of the best resort merchandise selections around.
Modern casino resort with a pair of hotels, an 18-hole golf course & a spa, plus slots & bingo.
Oh dear, I could spend days here. I love the noise and atmosphere of casinos, and this one is very clean. It's wide open spaces and extensive variety of games makes it a great choice for a day of fun... or longer if you get lucky! Get yourself a free "Comp", just sign up for the casino card at the service desk. You get free gambling funds, 1st timers get up to $25, and you can build a rep to become a preferred patron- that brings a whole host of great comps and freebies.
They also have great restaurant fare, and of course you can have complimentary refreshments the entire time you are there.
Only take with you what you know you can lose, then always keep your winnings separate so you can go home with something, sometimes more than you came with! I wish you luck~

Reward play isn't a reward at all. It deducts your money along with their "reward" play. I haven't been to this casino about 20 years. I always had a great time but I moved to over an hour away. Today was exciting until I started playing. This being a new experience of the casino, I don't think I'll be back. Reward play in any other casino is just that, a reward.

Parking there is plenty of spots. Walking in you can smell the essential oils and how relaxed you become and excited and the waterfall sounds. Even in the waiting area that's already a huge start. I took my sister out for a relaxing birthday celebration. Loved the cool pool and hot tub, the steam room, the robes and shoes were so comfy and the massages were amazing. We did couples massage and man we wanted to stay longer. It was amazing.
Marina Bean — Google review
Rooms- Furniture gave it a outdoorsy look. Not set up for business as there is only one plug in under the table. No plug ins near the bed for chargers either. I get it after all it's a casino you're not supposed to be in your room.
Bed- Nothing great, nor bad.
Shower- Needs more pressure. Bathroom was laid out nice with separate room for shower/toilet and sink.
Service- Great staff! On multiple occasions the staff greeted us with pleasantries. Best thing about the stay.
Location- Out in the middle of nowhere. But it's a stand alone casino/hotel so it's not meant to be downtown CDA.
Red Nail- Good food and reasonably priced.
I travel for business and took a chance on this one considering it is a casino. The Casino gave me a nice change of venue and if priced as it was in the future I would stay again.

It's fun to gamble! Play your dollars with sense and you'll be just fine. This casino is one of the better-paying ones around. Great dining and nice clean hotel rooms. They'll even let you stay for free if you play a little. Good times!

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. They compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is the best rated in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure!
Customer service is amazing, the staff is very attentive and always smiling. I was thankful for Mikaylah from the Banquets team, she went out of her way to help me and my wife and was pleasant to speak with. I will be coming back, and I've heard great things about the golf club and course, which my wife and I are interested in.

This is my favorite casino resort destination in the Pacific Northwest. My only complaint is the smoke from cigarettes is very noticeable in casino, they could use a much better air filtration system. The rooms are clean and beds were comfy. I like that I can golf while the wife gets pampered in the spa, and enjoy that they offer bingo with good payouts. But the customer service is top notch from every employee we encountered, and that alone is enough for me to be a continuing patron.

This is strictly a review for a Mountain Lodge room in tower 2. Stayed overnight Sept 2-3 2023.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been gambling at this casino for nearly a decade. My favorite in the area, this is my first time staying in the hotel. Booked a Mountain Lodge room, expecting a king but got a double queen. Never received a confirmation email before arriving, so there’s no proof.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not one to normally complain, but the toilet was absolutely unacceptable and needs noted. Blood, urine and hair was underneath the seat. Dried urine on the floor surrounding the toilet. The rest appeared “clean”, but it was blatantly obvious the seat wasn’t lifted and properly sanitized. Vent was noticeably dusty.
Slight musky smell in room, a condom and pizza slices littered the hallway. Wet footprints and body odor lingered in the elevators from unattended children using the pool. Mini fridge and air conditioning didn’t get cold enough for my liking. I appreciated the Native style of decor and furnishings, it created a certain ambiance. The door had an impressive safety feature, it wouldn’t unlock from the outside if the deadbolt was engaged. Handy in the right circumstance (if a stranger had your key card and tried to force entry). Overall: I really didn’t want to give a one star review, especially for somewhere I normally enjoy, but overpriced and unimpressed. Weary for now, maybe a stay in the spa area would be better? I don’t foresee utilizing the hotel again, I’ll stick with Mega Meltdown when I visit.

We stayed at the hotel last night and the room was pretty nice. My review would have been positive if the following had not occurred. We had a pretty late night and were planning to sleep in until 10, an hour before check out. Before 8 am we were woken by loud banging just outside our room. I looked out the window and saw two workers on a ledge about five feet below our room hammering through concrete. I called the front desk to let them know it had woken us up and that we were trying to sleep. The guy at the front desk couldn’t have acted like he cared less if he tried. After my second call to complain about the noise he said he’d look into it, but his bored and annoyed tone suggested otherwise. We left the room an hour and a half later with the workers still hammering away. They clearly don’t value their customers if they treat us this way. We should have stayed home, at least we would have gotten some sleep.

My husband and I attempted to stay here. The first room was very cheap feeling. Like benches made of plywood. Long story short, we upgraded rooms only to have the jetted tub flood our bathroom. The fireplace only lit to about 1 1/12”, the light switches didn’t work properly. And there are lights above all cabinets that are “ambient” and can’t be turned off. We left after being there less than 2 hours, didn’t use the room, still charged us $100. I forgot my comfy clothes, called and they said they had them and told me to file a claim. I did, got an email that they couldn’t find my items. I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone

There are lots of machines to play. they constantly offer the newest games. They have plenty non smoking areas as well. Also Bingo on ceraun days. They often have concerts.
The payouts are not nearly as good as they were in past years.
its a bit of a drive from Cda but,not bad.
The rooms are nice and clean. The food in the restaurants is very good.
Kristine Black — Google review
I didn't stay in a room. I found the casino clean and fresh despite the smoking allowed. More machines were paying out. My sister and I lunched at the Asian Dining room. We loved the design of this room. We felt we were out in a wooded forest. There was a huge screen featuring a flowing stream. Food was a little pricy but worth it. Very friendly service too.

Gambling was okay. Food was good had strawberry salad. Most of the staff were friendly. Only 2 seemed to be in a bad mood or rude. The rudest one was at the place where you get your players card, I complimented her on her hair and is was like the worst thing I could have done. She became so rude, I just didn't know what to do! The second was a staff member who had the job of cleaning bathrooms, and you could tell she hated her job!!! Other wise the experience was good. Food prices are a little high for somethings but the food at our table was eaten completely and no one complained so obviously very good!

This casino realized how much money they made during the pandemic by not giving any coins back from the ticket redemption machines and closing the casino floor (therefore not having to pay staff) in the early morning hours to “sanitize “ we wake up and are not able to gamble til 7, eat til 8 and walk the length of the casino and stand in line to get ALL of the money you are owed. Besides this the odds are horrible- never go here when an awesome casino like Quest is so close! Amazed how such wealth only makes more greed at this place
Kelly Lagrou — Google review
Room bathroom was dirty. Electronic system malfunctioned and took people's money, staff was most unhelpful. Golf in the summer is pricey at $160+ per. No table games, not much to do unless you drive into downtown CDA or further. Golf facilities were nice and golf staff was very friendly.
Heath Jones — Google review
We visited the casino for a music performance. It was so clean and beautifully decorated. There are smoking and non smoking areas. It was really impressive the immediate difference when you stepped into the different areas. We ate at the Little Dragon, which was great, enjoyed the show at the Night Hawk and had drinks there as well. They didnt have a drink menu, so I just asked for a fruity mixed cocktail. I got 3 different drinks and they were all great. Security was quick to help another guest that was having a hard time. Definitely want to go back!

This place is well equipped and inviting for handicap individuals. The service is wonderful. People are friendly and inviting. I wish the bingo area had better air filtering from smoke but overall super fun. Older section of hotel is decently priced and accommodating for handicap. I will be coming back for more fun sometime soon.

This review is for the Jackpot Java and Creamery coffee and bakery. I'm visiting from Reno, Nevada for the holiday and have gone here a handful of times for coffee and baked goods.
The coffee is really good and I've been satisfied with the Vanilla Latte and the special, Eggnog Pumpkin Latte. I've tried a handful of baked goods and so far everything has been pretty tasty. I'm looking forward to continuing to explore the menu and try all the other yummy looking treats!

First time there! It was alright, kinda out in the middle of nowhere, 26 miles from town! If all you're there for is gambling then that's fine! Food options are limited we went to have dinner there and was told it was a hour and half wait, when there were empty tables in plain sight! Told group in front of us same thing! It was just two of us! It's beautiful out there but next time we'll stay in Coeur d'Alene and drive out there! More to see and do in town and food options!
Bill Corbin — Google review
Cool place. Nice golf course, good restaurants, all the gambling you would ever need, a gift shop that you can buy "discounted" tobacco as well as a gas station, basically at the entrance of the casino parking lot, with cheaper fuel and tobacco as well 😉. Parking at casino is great..... just stretches the length of the building so there's usually nothing to far out there. Employees are friendly and helpful. They also seem like they genuinely enjoy working there. It makes your visit to those kind of establishments so much more pleasant, it's unbelievable! Thank you and whatever you guys got going to keep your staff happy, keep that stuff up! See y'all next time!
David Jessel — Google review
It’s not terrible, but it’s not good. Most of the staff is nice besides the bartender.. waited in line as the only one as 3 workers sat there talking. I eventually just interrupted and asked for a beer and the dude throws my card and receipt and walks away. What a joke of service. Rooms aren’t terrible but very outdated and dusty. Machines are decent however your free play money is very limited to what machines you can use.
Troy Iverson — Google review
I can't really recommend this place. I have a sensitive nose, so the cigarette smoke indoors is a massive turnoff for me. Aside from that, pretty much every person I saw looked like they were the stereotypical redneck, like from a comedy movie or something. While that isn't normally a bad thing, in this case the atmosphere was unfriendly and generally upset. It's clear that people were spending their savings and not winning much. The food was also a let down. The side cafes had a very limited selection of fast food options. The restaurant area had a nice looking menu, but the food was fairly over priced for the quality. Flavors were decent, but I wouldn't eat there again. As casinos go, this one did not impress me.

They upgraded our free queen room to a king size on my b'day plus we had to leave in the morning at 5am and John the valet had our car pulled up front and all warmed up! Hot tub was amazing too we had it all to ourselves 👏🏻 And we Always win at Coeur d'Alene!!

We went to a concert there last night and the acoustics were fantastic. The show was very well presented and the band had a good time playing for the audience. Last night was my first time going there and it is not the last based on how things went.

Popular park with a fishing pond, a playground, picnic tables & trails with scenic dam views.
This is a fabulous park. The trails are well maintained and the historical signs are easy to read. The overlooks are stunning. What an amazing piece of American history! The park is new and safe. The fishing ponds were drained for the winter, but looked like they'd be absolutely beautiful in summer. The fences are in good repair and sitting benches abound. I cannot wait to return with my family.

Quiet, peaceful park. The playground is simple but fun, and we love seeing the ducks and geese and walking up the path to the river to see the water flow through the dam. Always a lovely visit!

Falls Park is another great example that shows the City of Post Falls’ dedication to providing for its community. The park is always clean, there are paved trails to ensure accessibility, and off road trails that will take you to the river and beyond. This park always provides! And is a go-to place for my dog and I to get a nice walk in.

Great park to walk around and feel like you are hiking on a mountain. I love the fishing pond but it was drained when we were there. The waterfall/dam area is a good experience for anyone who hasn't tried it! There's a playground also.

I've lived very close to this park for years but never walked over until recently. It feels like a very pretty little oasis right by my home. It's perfectly maintained and a pleasure to walk through. I'm super excited to see it when leaves start turning colors!

Very nice place! There are places where you can sit and open your case with sandwiches. Besides that you can find a small playground out there. And of course the falls, the Falls! Very good places to look at the falls and spend some time with the family there.
Noticed that in that area a family of ducks with ducklings. They like cookies :)

Stopping thru on our way back home from a trip to Montana and was able to play for a while and do a very small hike to see the falls. It was so beautiful and very clean and well kept. We ended up taking a few pictures (as you see here) but it was mostly just the time we had out there to stretch our legs and be grateful for the marvelous sighting. Next time we pass through I hope to stop for longer to really enjoy the experience.

Is there two dams. Beautiful when the waters flowing heavily through. There's not much walking ground but it is a beautiful park there's Play ground equipment for kids, not a lot, but some.
There's a small bridge to walk across which goes over a pond area. Plenty of trees, overall beautiful scenery.

Great stop for the long distance travel. The amount of water in falls last weekend was really good. You could feel the water with the wind from the viewing dock.
Play area is small but again we just stopped for 15-20 min to see the falls .

Very beautiful Park. We ended up coming here due to circumstance and was not planning on going to this park but when we got there realized that this was the place we had to take our wedding pictures. I love the layout of the park it is very big and beautiful full of Nature and is very clean and safe feeling. Great place to bring kids with lots of shaded areas as well as a playground for kids to play on, lots of benches and water as well as picnic benches and barbecuing area. Would highly recommend going to this park it is beautiful.

Very cool park with some beautiful flowers and lots of historical stuff all around it. There's some playground equipment for kids and picnic tables and walking and hiking trails leading to the dam. I definitely plan on coming back next spring to see the amazing display of water from the different spillway . I would definitely recommend stopping by and seeing this place if you are in the area..

Amazing drive with spectacular views of the mountain ranges! Excellent ski park for all levels from bunny hills to longer ones. The hike in the snow was pretty good. Open access to many walking and hiking trails. The vista house was close at this point of the year so will definitely want to be back for that. Bird & animal sanctuary on 16,000 acres of permanent & seasonal wetlands with hiking trails.
Beautiful! Saw an Elk family and a turkey family. The road is a lot of gravel but well kept. I went on a few trails and all were easy to walk along.

Turnbull is an amazing wildlife refuge that provides habitat for various bird and mammal species.
Reminder: upon seeing a moose on the side of the road that is especially close to the car, don't get out. It's harassment.
My family and I were watching a young moose munch on some red osier dogwood stems when the next thing I know a person is standing next to my car and asking what I'm looking at. Then others got out of the car, didn't stand behind my car to use it as a blind but got in front of my car and blocked the passengers view in the back so they could capture their images.
A truck came alongside and four people came out with their cell phones to snap their images.
The moose turned away and I saw the first lady, who had been by my car, now across the water body to get a better angle.
I take photos. I love it. But the wildlife comes first. If we alter their behavior or put them in danger to get a shot, we photographers are doing it wrong.

Spent a fabulous day enjoying nature. Only saw 1 moose,1 coyote and a few birds. It is hot hot hot and middle of the day. We just had poor timing.. Mom has hard time walking so clearly marked trails that were well maintained perfect for adventure for elderly or disabled. So clean. Nice to hear the wind blowing thru the trees. No worries about noise or any other polluton here. Highly recommend. They offer guided walks on the trails as well.

This is a great place to hike for all ages and had handicap accessible trails! There is an small gift shop with nice, informative volunteers and kids backpacks that can be borrowed for exploring the park that included a magnifying glass and notebook (there were 2 backpacks). BE AWARE...it was a hot, humid day and there were ticks in the grass off the paved trails!

I thought this place was amazing. The 5 mile auto loop was fun. I drove around 3 times before sunset. 1st drive saw a chipmunk 🐿 2nd time round saw a mom and a young moose. 3rd time saw a hawk. Beautiful scenerary. Came back next day did the main hiking trails. Saw a large coyote that stopped and stared me down before running off. Tried the bluebird trail starting on the rough path. It’s not bad at all. Super cool trail! We left the trail and looped back through the forest navigating with all trails app. A bin cat ran out in front of us. Not long after I spotted a bull moose standing behind a tree 30 yards out. My dog loved it! It was a fantastic adventure. Tips for spotting animals at turnbull. Be patient, be quiet and be vigilant. I noticed on the auto loop I was passed 4-5 times by the same people. Go slow and be observant. I found moose no one ever saw because they drove right by it. When your looking for moose from your car. Look for dark black spots in the woods. They will be darker then any other thing around them. Next look too see if the dark spot appears to be on the ground or elevated above the ground. If the dark spot on the ground has two dark antenna features poking out of it. You probably found a moose. The ears always give them away. If there standing you will see a large dark spot with with long skinny lines underneath. These are the signs that say pull over focus the binoculars and get a better look. Many times I have also found them because they were shaking bushes while eating. They are stealthy when they are still and can be hard to notice. The opposite can be said when they are moving. Very.loud and clumsy animals.Happy spotting.

What an great outdoor experience. We rode 16 miles from Fish Lake to Amber Lake and then back again, which goes through the heart of the Turnbull. It's a lovely, virtually flat old rail trail. Along the way we saw: osprey, turkeys, quail, deer, coyote, marmot, and many other waterfowl and shorebird (I just don't know my birds very well). The weather was lovely. The trail is well marked, and virtually, once you get off the paved section, there's nobody out there, on a Saturday, even.

Absolutely beautiful! Great trails for running. Saw tons of wildlife including 2 moose, 5 elk, a white tailed buck, and a Turkey.
Will absolutely be back, this place is a treasure!

Great little natural area and large enough that you really feel like you're away from the roads and city. We did a couple hikes and saved a couple for later, all around a mile round trip for the ones we did, and very easy (Bluebird and 30 Acre Lake). Only ran into one other person on 30 Acre Lake trail, the widest, and there was plenty of room to give each other space. Saw a ton of cool insects but that's our thing, and one very uncool insect bit one of us, a tick. So watch out, spray your shoes and check regularly. Still lots of wildflowers for August and a swan couple was in one of the lakes ❤️.

Saw a snake pile! Also, a tree is coming down near the far side of the paved loop trail so be careful. This place is awesome though. Lots of wildlife and is a peaceful place to take a walk.

Snakes! Snakes were everywhere today! We had a blast enjoying the wetland preserve! We did our share of squealing at the multitudes of baby snakes that were rustling in out of the grasses, especially as they quickly slithered off the warm asphalt walkways. We particularly enjoyed watching the waterfowl, and listening to the diverse birdsong. We saw several birds of prey. I thoroughly enjoyed the simple pleasure of just going on a meandering walk through the rustling grasses and cattails. I usually hike and today was a nice walk with girlfriends and my sons.
A beautiful day in a beautiful landscape with beautiful people surrounded and filled with beautiful love. :-)
Peace and contentment.
GRATITUDE.
I LOVE TURNBALL WILDLIFE REFUGE and I loved this day!
Green Bluff is a farming community and census-designated place situated in Spokane County, Washington. The name of this place is derived from a cliff located in close proximity. Its height measures 2,310 feet above sea level. The population count during the 2010 census was recorded at 761 individuals, which marked the first time that Green Bluff had been recognized by the U.S Census Bureau.
Manito Park is a beautiful 90-acre park in Spokane, Washington that is open daily without charge. The park features rose, lilac, and formal gardens as well as a pond. It is a peaceful place to enjoy nature and is one of the best things to do in Spokane.
Best park in Spokane! Stunning variety of unique and well maintained gardens, lovely greenhouse, large duck pond, numerous walking paths, playgrounds, splash pad and restrooms. Beautiful anytime of the year. In the summer they have a nice outdoor cafe where you can get drinks, lunch or ice cream. In the winter the have a light show in the greenhouse and throughout the park.

Amazing park, everything is green and trees are blossoming;there are a few flowers such as hyacinth, magnolias. The best is Gaiser Conservatory, opened every day except Wednesday, from 9 am to 3:30pm. That is an exceptional expo of cacti , exotic plants, orchids. You can spend an hour in the conservatory easily. See a few pics. This was a real treat. We will be back.

Gorgeous park in Spokane. Wish I was able to get more pictures, but I didn't charge my phone before visiting. This park is a must-see when visiting Spokane. I went here with some friends and enjoyed a beautiful walk in the park and enjoyed all that the park had to offer. Definitely allow yourself a couple of hours to explore the park. There is a playground here for kids and restrooms as well. I believe we could have spent all day here. I hope to visit the area when the garden is in full bloom. Absolutely gorgeous.

Manito Park was beyond stunning and I’m excited to come back throughout the seasons. This park is beautiful and offers a variety of gardens. They also have a playground to bring your littles to that is fun for any age. I fell in love with the Japanese Garden, flower arrangements and the beautiful landscape. This is a wonderful place to visit and the perfect place for a date!

Absolutely stunning park! Enjoyed every minute we spent in here exploring the classic gardens, rose garden, and Japanese garden. We walked around the whole park and I feel like I could go back tomorrow and spend another few hours walking around again! The roses smelled so lovely!

This park is absolutely gorgeous. Having been to many across North America this one easily tops the list of favorites. The conservatory and outdoor gardens are extremely well kept, beautiful, and absolutely delight to visit. From a plant need perspective I absolutely love the educational value and incredible diversity of this park.

One of my favorite parks to visit growing up! Always nice to stop by when visiting Spokane. They have a beautiful rose garden and the conservatory is nice too. If you make it during lilac season also really beautiful.

What an unexpected slice of paradise! We missed the Japanese Gardens, it closes at 6pm, so I definitely have to get back here.
My visit was mid July. The roses appeared to be at the end of their season but wow! There were still plenty there and I could smell them before I could see them.
Thank you Spokane for a beautiful and huge park. It's so serene here. I hope the people who care for this place are adequately appreciated and thanked for what has to be a lot of maintenance work!

This a very large park which contains several distinct botanical attractions. We loved the Japanese garden and Koi pond. The English gardens were also very impressive. The indoor conservatory was great. My camera couldn't keep up.

This is a must for any visitor to Spokane. Set on a beautiful hillside, multiple themed parks in one. We started at the top of the park and walked down to take it all in! There is a formal garden, rose garden, Dalia garden and a large pond. So cool!

This is a beautiful park. I gave it 5 starts, but would have given 4 1/2 stars if available. Only because their directional signage is very not clear. The gardens are well cared for and maintained. The conservancy was amazing, it has a variety of cacti and other exotic plants, I love cacti. The rose gardens not only had great variety, but I could smell the roses walking through. The Japanese garden was so peaceful. I could go on, I highly recommend a visit to the park. Talked your time and take enjoy it.

Very pretty place, went in early April so nearly nothing was blooming, but I imagine it's amazing later in the year. Walked all around the Gaiser Conservatory with impressive plants and flowers, the Japanese Garden was so beautiful and meticulously maintained, Duncan Garden would be gorgeous when everything is in bloom.

This was my first visit to Manito Park, and I would definitely recommend it. We went through the first week of November, and most of the annuals (like the Rose Gardens) had already been cut back. Workers were clearing garden beds as we walked through. Even with some missing, the walk was still beautiful. Gorgeous trees and perennials abound! I am excited to return in Winter for their Christmas Lights & then again in the Spring. With so much hussle & bussle in downtown Spokane, this lovely gem is a break from the headaches and offers a few mintutes of peace and tranquility.

Love love love this place ! It's the only place I resort to go to on special occasions when I don't have extra money to play with . I go to this place on my birthday every year . The cactus green house is my FAVORITE. The Rose Garden is a rose growing competition, all types of new rose species by growers. Then get judged and placed accordingly. All individual growers create their own unique rose and title them and place in competition . Its interesting ! The two toned bright pink and orange and white all in one rose..are my fave. The anise is a fave as well.

The vibrant district of Downtown Spokane, also referred to as Riverside, offers a pedestrian-friendly environment with an array of casual dining options, trendy bars and nightclubs, and a blend of both chain retailers and independent shops. The area features meticulously restored buildings such as the Historic Davenport Hotel from 1914 and the art deco Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox that houses the Spokane Symphony.
The Riverfront Park in Spokane, Washington is a beautiful park that features a Looff Carrousel from 1909, Rotary Fountain, and many other attractions. The park is located on 100 acres of prime land along the Spokane River and it is popular with visitors for its amazing views of the upper falls of the river as well as its expansive grounds.
Beautiful walk for all ages with lots of cool sculptures. Great showcase of the area. Little ice rink track for doing loops that was pretty unique, and a cool chalk art area under the bridges. The park is perfect for an afternoon or evening walk no matter the time of year. Lots of stuff closed, like the indoor carousel- I'm presuming because of Covid. Still a great walk none-the-less to enjoy the day and people/bird watch!

We had such an amazing time just exploring! There are multiple parks and activities; pedal cars and scooters you can rent at very reasonable prices, fun landmarks to learn the history of, and beautiful sculptures all over! We had so much fun just walking. It's also very close to downtown, so we were able to spend the day at the park and then go find several options to eat!

We attended the Park's 4th of July celebration. It was great! Packed but with all the things that can keep families busy, it was ideal. We went to the fossil park and splash pad, watched the symphony at the pavilion, and then sat in the grass near the clock tower to watch the fireworks. Our kids had a blast! Will be attending next year as well!

Wow! I've driven by this park and have yet to stop by. I'm so glad we did. It's absolutely beautiful here! The river makes this such a special place. The park is maintained well and I didn't see any liter. I did not see public restrooms here, but I'm sure they exist. The walking trails are paved and even, I was even able to walk with my cane without any problems. I definitely will be back! Thank you City of Spokane for maintaining this gem of a park!

Wonderful public area for families, friends and large groups! There is a fun ice skating and roller skating rink here, a carousal, and food vendors. Occasionally they have live music and really cool farmers markets.

Great place to walk, jog, bike, and run. Gets busy. Lots of things going on all at the same time.
The trails are nice. I would recommend always having someone with you, there’s a lot of homeless people there and no security what’s so ever.
Some areas are trashy and can small like marijuana, like many places around this city.
Stay close to any young ones. Stay in crowded areas. Watch for the bikers because there are blinds spot. People are supposed to walk their skateboard and bike but you know how people respond to regulations.
Lots to do and see. Very lively. Take precautions thats what I’m telling you.
Oh and people drive fast so watch twice before crossing. Still a lot of ricer on the West Coast (I’m from the other side of the States).

River front park was a good experience it is very urban which means that it is also quite busy and parking is a nuisance. The best way to get around river front park is on the Electric scooters and/ or bikes as the park is so big and has plenty of pathways.
That being said riverfront park is indeed very urban with fencing around all of the river and falls, there isn't a lot of nature to actually enjoy which is both fortunate and unfortunate.
If you're going in for a walk this park is definitely big enough to get your steps in, but most of what you'll see is sidewalk fence and some grass.
There is I think 3 bridges that go over the water, one of them is currently under construction as is a good portion of the park.

Took a road trip from Tri-Cities and spent most of the day here, rode the Numérica SkyRide which was short but had a cool view, 1st time on the Lime Scooters which we explored on for about an hour, left to watch a football game at Buffs, then returned to see the lights at the Pavilion. Overall it’s a great hang out spot, lots of things to see & do, we really enjoyed our little get away.

The crown jewel park in Downtown Spokane with wonderful artwork and spectacular views of Spokane Falls. Lots to do in all four seasons!
The Spokane Falls are a man-made waterfall and dam in the city center of Spokane, Washington. The Upper Falls is home to the Upper Falls Dam, which directs water into the falls intake on the south channel of the Spokane River while Lower Falls features Monroe Street Dam, which generates hydroelectricity for the city. The falls are a local landmark and one of the top attractions in Spokane.
Amazing! Right in downtown Spokane.

Had a blast checking out the trail and surrounding businesses. It was definitely worth renting the scooters as we were able to cover much more ground and see all the different falls from all the best vantage points. Great place for an afternoon visit
I have been to the Spokane area a few times in the past few years but I have not had the time to see the famous Spokane Falls. This time I was on a mission to finally see them. I made all of my business appointments for early morning so I had some time in the afternoon to actually spend some time at the falls. There is plenty of parking nearby on the streets and there are public parking spots nearby. There are gondolas which take you over the falls, bit since it was October they are only available at certain times during the week so I was not able to take a ride. To get to the preferred viewing locations near the falls you have to go done many steps, but the effort is worth it.
There are some very nice views of the falls and the river. You have to walk around to find good vantage points for pictures. There are also signs and information posts around the area where you learn about the falls and the local indigenous culture. This is a great place for a solo visit or a family visit and you could spend a few hours taking it all in. A spectacular spot for an afternoon visit.

Contemporary casino hotel with nightlife, plus an indoor pool, a fitness center & a spa.
We signed up for the eat and win package. We received a $50 credit for any food establishment in the hotel and $10 gambling credit and two 2 for 1 blackjack coupons. If you are flexible on your dates, you get better rates when you make reservations based in room availability. Either way, it may seem a little pricey. But you get what you pay for. The room was very clean and the shower, well you have to experience it. Large screen tv and in room coffee service. We were pleased and with the dining credit, it was a good experience.

I was really impressed with the place. All over its decorated in a unique modern feel and architecture. Check in was super easy with free valet. Our room was very nice super clean and smelling fresh. The decor was new and stylish. Shower was awesome. I recommend the spa it's clean and they do a great job with relaxing all the senses. Our massages were great they used this melted wax that smelled great. The rest of the casino is cool too with several dining options. They have a nice concert venue on site as well as a fancy movie theater.

Not every many options for games everything seemed to the same theme to every single game.. which, yes I get it casino games all have the same theme (get ya money)! I've been to enough casinos to know there is a larger range for games! I like the movie themed ones personally! There wasn't enough housekeeping staff on the day I went and I saw one woman in particular who was cleaning an extremely large area for one person. So, many nasty empty drinking cups or cigarette butts left next to games and on the floor... if you're going to have a smoking section here, have the later ash trays for those who walk around. While I get the tabletop ash trays are abundant, there should still be the something placed out for the wanders to put the used cigarettes away. Rooms are nice, family type environment different options for meals. Kind of it's own little city if you will. Thee biggest con I have is that everything is extremely extremely over-priced. One of the few casinos of been to in the state to charge what they do are still to cheap to pay the employees a proper wage!

Every single member of the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Entire facility was clean and well maintained. Excellent food and lounge options. Do not stay in room 265 in the River Tower. Although the room was very nice and clean with a very comfortable bed, it is right above a loading dock and trash compactor. Backup alerts from trucks and noise from unloading woke us up both mornings we were there. That, however, is my only complaint. Everything else was awesome!

Biggest casino around here. Best selection of table games and slots. Lots of places to eat. Drinks and food are priced a little high possibly because some people pay with comps. I notice this is a trend at other casinos as well. I have been going here for decades and watched it change and grow. Casino's are usually only fun when you win and that's hard to do sometimes. Luckily Quest has other venues and things to do besides gambling to help draw in people.

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A REVIEW ON THE HOTEL’S TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, NOT THE HOTEL ITSELF.
After looking forward to this vacation for over a year, I thought the waiting was over when I stepped off of the plane. But I was wrong.
I was waiting all day for my family members’ flight to land. 7 hours to be exact. My patience was already altered. When I finally met up with my family at the airport, I was excited that the waiting was over and we could begin our trip. However, this excitement did not last long.
We had scheduled for a shuttle to come pick us up right when we landed before we even boarded the plane in the morning. But to our great disappointment, we were met with an empty parking lot when we exited the airport. I’m fine waiting a few minutes here and there, but this soon became unreasonable. We waiting 10, 20, then 30 minutes! Ridiculous! We were already irked, but our experience was drastically worsened when we got dropped off. We told our bus driver to have the valet get our car, but our car was not ready, in fact, they didn’t even start getting our car! By this time I was furious and wanted to leave as soon as possible. But I could not, as they only had one receptionist working, causing me to wait in line for another 30 minutes! All of these issues were as a result of poor management, not the employees. By the end of this nightmare of an experience we had spent over an hour, a non refundable hour of my life which I will never get back. This whole process could’ve took under 5 minutes if done professionally. Truly disappointing.
If you didn’t feel like reading this long review, here is the summary: My family and I were extremely disappointed and this hotel must improve its service for customer satisfaction.

I only visited the casino and restaurant so can't say much about the hotel. Every staff member we encountered was really nice and helpful. We ate at Epic and the food is a bit pricey but delicious. The slot machines are well maintained and there are plenty to play. I was impressed by the size of the casino and the arcade.

The staff are all very friendly and professional, and everyone really tries to make sure you have a great time on your visit. I really have come to appreciate the cigar lounge, the legacy art you'll see everywhere that is dedicated to the honor of the tribe and its history, and the live action gaming, as well as the overall quality of the hotel, spa and pool. Your room will have all the amenities you've come to expect in a luxury hotel, and a few that will delightfully surprise you. Food options are numerous, from affordable and tasty grub, to exquisite fine dining. They are also doing a great job on bringing live music to the venue! Things I would like to see more of on my next visit include the inclusion of tournament style poker, more emphasis on cigar promotions, culture, and events, and perhaps promotional discounts on drink sales for gamers. --------------------------------------
This is the Northwest's premier resort casino, and it's worth a visit, even if you're not into gambling, you will not be disappointed both with the quality of the hotel and the excellent service you will receive from the staff. If you do like to gamble, the payouts ratios seem fair and consistent with Vegas rules, and there are plenty of perks if you are part of the Camas club, including major giveaways each month in the form of cash or cars. It's.a unique experience to stay here, and one I'm sure you will enjoy.

I love going out to the casino for a great entertainment option! The staff is amazing! There are plenty of food and drink options, all of which have been really tasty. I have not personally been lucky enough to win a darn thing but I have an awesome time trying!
Update: I guess it is time to hang up my hat on the gambling thing. I have lost more money than I care to imagine. The slots seem to be good to some people yet they are pretty tight when I play. Haven't had any better luck participating in the reward club promotions either. I think its great fun for people with large bank rolls, but for me. It just isn't worth losing all that money. The slot machines are always new, exciting and entertaining. There are numerous table games one can try their luck at and many dining options. So I would encourage everyone to try their luck! I on the other hand feel it really isn't the risk.

It seems like things have gone downhill out here since they started expanding. It takes forever to get someone to bring you a drink, cash out a hand pay, or serve you at the cashier line. I don't think they realize just how much time I waste waiting when I could be gambling.
I still don't understand why the vast majority of the people out there are non-smokers but the non-smoking room is tiny. Someone needs to re-evaluate the mix of smoking and non-smoking areas.
There are also long delays with valet. I can't remember the last time my car was brought quickly. Even if there's nobody ahead of me, it takes a long time.
The rooms are showing signs of wear and tear, including swelling around the floorboards, scratches and scrapes, and dings and dents. It doesn't have the high-end feel it used to.
Lastly, the cost of everything has gone up. While I expect this to some degree given the economy, they take enough of my money when I'm gambling. On top of that, I have to pay for overpriced, watered down drinks. They still can't seem to get the food venues right. The new Asian restaurant started off great but went downhill very fast. The pizza place is okay but overpriced. Epic is no longer worth the cost. The menu is either too weird or the food is of poor quality. Even Maslow's got too weird for us. This place needs a simple diner for all the people out there who don't want something weird or expensive.

The venue was awesome and situated perfectly so the sun doesn't beat down on you even on a 90 degree plus day. We even left with a little money. Definitely would recommend and we will for sure be back.

The restaurant service was horrific, but the people on the floor of the casino were amazing.
The room was super spacious. It was clean and comfy.
I wish someone had given me the heads up that every single machine was slots. I was hoping for the electronic card games... nope. SLOTS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE! That was a bummer, but we still enjoyed the room and the casino area.
The restaurants (East and then the one by the entrance) both had terrible staff. They were obviously jaded with having a ton of customers, but someone should remind them that we are the money that allows them to have a job. I would order out if you plan to stay here.

And once again I didn't win a thing here. After I don't know how many times I have been to your establishment I have yet to even win anything no matter how much money I spend can't even win 5 bucks on any machine I play at! But all the other things you offer is awesome... The different food and drinks choices are really good here.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. We were there 2 days. The only complaint is that we had to call front desk 4 times before someone came to our room. The cleaners never came into our room either. But, we definitely had a fun little getaway.

They have tight machines, and there security is terrible , they have FBI in the parking lot who harassed me for closing my friends door ,when I was just getting my jacket out of the car. I just sold this car to a friend and left my jacket behind, seems like the FBI would have more important things to do then cruise the parking lot of this casino.
And the best response they can give everyone is some mindless dribble that does nothing for what I had to go threw that day.

I hadn't been to this casino in almost 10 years. My old boss would take us to play cards and roll dice. We used to have soo much fun. Great atmosphere. The dealers were great.
However, this time I went. There were so so many drug addicts playing slots that I left within the hour. Bummer that the atmosphere changed so drastically. 😩

Great casino I can't seem to win at lol. Other than that it's a casino that allows smoking so you will walk out smelling like a cigarette that's not uncommon. My only complaint is that the bars in there have slots at them so people never seem to leave. The bars are always full no matter when I come in. But that's not a casino issue that's a people issue lol. Highly recommend.

It is absolutely insane to me that with the legal age for casino gambling in Washington State is 18 years old you have to be 21 to gamble at this casino. We drove 3 hours away to be here for my sisters 18th birthday only to find out we couldn’t even gamble with her. Birthday ruined. This casino is the worst. Not to mention the horrible STENCH of cigarettes you can’t seem to escape. There should be a section where 18-21 should be allowed. This is Ludacris. Horrible horrible horrible establishment

This place is a dump. Been there about 10 or 15 times now. It's always riddled with homeless. People walk around and try to sell you their pocket trinkets or whatever. Last time i was there, there was a strong smell of sewage or something near the restrooms. There was some dude that reeked something horrible aggressively guarding 3 machines for hours. Came back the next night and the chairs at those machines still smelled like him. The staff were doing some work on some machine and when i tried to walk around them some gung-ho security nearly knocked me over by stepping right into me like i was getting too close or something. Just a very unpleasant atmosphere. Most likely won't be going again.
I will say though, the staff that would help me when i was having trouble with a machine were very friendly and helpful.

Definitely would come consistently, but the smoke from smoking is not something you can get away from! I felt choked out! The moment you hit the escalators it just hits your face which makes it difficult to maneuver to say shop/dine, etc. Truly a smokers paradise 😫
Rooms are basic. Restaurant staff at The East were very attentive.
This property is gorgeous and the owner is so sweet and kind. I can’t imagine anyone ever having anything bad to say about this place. The trains passing through don’t sound their horns and adds to the charm of this place. Wonderful would recommend and come back!
Melissa Warfield — Google review
Monica sticks to her rules, but she keeps the place clean and enjoyable. Peaceful, if you don't mind a few trains going buy. Fantastic views from every spot. The lake is warm and has a lot of algae, so our kids didn't want to swim in it. Kayaking was fun, however.
Matthew Junevitch — Google review
I camped there two years in a row, both times late in the season. This was several years ago. The owner was friendly and accomodating, the price was reasonable. Seems to me the showers were closed, but the bathroom was clean enough. I was able to choose where I wanted to park, and had a firepit. Few other guests. I love the trains, and they aren't terribly loud.
It is a beautiful spot, and I would certainly camp there again. Would probably give it five stars if the facilities were a little more updated. But I had no complaints whatsoever, aside from maybe not having a shower.
I think many people leaving bad reviews are either Karens or are not very experiemced campers. Could it be better? Sure. Need it be? Absolutely not - I loved the place!

In response to your response of my husbands review. We would have preferred to not sit and watch a movie. We had planned to go out in rowboats that you had advertised on your website. When we arrived, that’s when we found out you had not updated your website.
As much as I love reading, I cannot spend 12 hours reading. But thank you for the recommendation.

Monika was a wonderful host and keeps the grounds looking park like. We were in a 44ft 5th wheel and the only ones there for the night. Getting that lake view out the window was beautiful. Unfortunately we did not take advantage of the fishing, boat launch or facilities so I cannot comment on those. We had a great night. Thank you Monika!

This RV Park is just OK. Calling it a resort is far-fetched, as resorts have amenities. We travel all over the US from Alaska, and the price here is just too high for what is NOT offered. Also, the constant trains blowing their whistles throughout the night is something you might want to tell people up front…??
Lisa Walter — Google review
Monica is a wonderful host! The resort is beautiful! The algae, when present, actually helps the fishing. Tent camping here was great! Trains didn't bother and the showers get hotter than you'll want! Sissy loved it!

Always a wonderful trip out there. Peaceful, quiet and meet other friendly folks! Fishing is good at times. Slow at other days. Trains are fun to watch coming around the bend especially at dusk . Owner is friendly, courteous and straightforward!!! Well kept up campground and fairly priced.

First of all, there is absolutely nothing to do. If you are looking to sit and stare at the water this is the perfect place. If you have a boat, that’s great but there is too much algae to swim in it.
The website said they rent row boats but she doesn’t anymore. She sold them. There is no beach area to sit at. You are not allowed to play electronics outside. We got told while watching a movie on our iPad.
If you want to pay by credit card there is a fee of $2.67 a night. If you want a shower it’s $.75 for 5 mins. (This is the first place that has charged extra to shower). Also you have to pay a $5 deposit and if you don’t wipe the floor she keeps it.
There is absolutely nothing in town. The only place that serves meals closes at 3:00 pm.
Wood is $10 and you don’t get much, I would bring your own.
Initially, we were going to stay for four nights, we decided on only three and left after two.
A loud train goes by every hour, the neighbours have a rooster if you’d like to get up early and an occasional scent of manure wafts through.
**UPDATED: we had no plans to sit and watch a movie. We did read, thanks for the recommendation but since there was nothing to do we finished our books. We planned to rent row boats and enjoy the lake you boast about but as you know when we arrived you advised us you don’t have any.

Beautiful location. The lake alone should make this a 5 star rating. Too bad the attention to detail, cleansiness and customer service is not quite up to par.
Everything - and I mean everything - is covered in spider webs, dead bugs, bird poo and cottonwood. It doesn't seem like the place gets cleaned very often.
We got a nice spot right by the lake but soon realized that it's a bit odd. On one side we had water and sewer hook ups (no electricity); on the other side electricity and water (no gray water). We had to turn our RV around back and forth as our need changed during our 1 day stay.
During check in the owner kept saying there is no mosquitos (or that they just go away when you settle in!) Which was completely untrue. Can't blame them for mosquitos but to try to deny them is something else.
We got a picnic table and firepit on our site. I had to hose down the table in an attempt to get the cigarette filter, bird poo and other stains removed (not successful).
I didn't use the bathroom / shower facilities at all, as they are pretty old, far from campsites and completely covered in spider webs, dead bugs and ... you know the rest.
I asked about laundry facilities when we arrived at 5:50 pm and the owner just said the laundry hours are over!! Not sure when they start and end.
I asked about boats and the owner rolled her eyes and said 'well they are $30 to use'! (she didn't really seem interested in renting them out and knew they are overpriced)
WiFi is available at $3. This is the only RV park I've been at that does not include wifi in the price. She must have detected the look of surprise in my face and added that it's because it costs $100 to get a technician out here to fix it when it goes out. That sounds to me like the cost of business and not something to directly offload to the guests.
The place is covered in cottonwood in May. If you think you might have allergies this may not be the place for you.
There are many many bugs / mosquitos. Bring bug spray.
The train nearby is pretty loud and comes very often.
I really wish I could have rated this place higher because the location is amazing.

Huge lakeside park with trails, seasonal campsites & boating facilities amid dramatic basalt cliffs.
Absolutely love this state park! The views are amazing the beaches there water are clear and great! They have full RV hookups and lots of sites. It’s basically and island and the only thing on it is the campground! Nearly every site has water access. There are a lot of good hikes and plenty of wildlife (deer, marmots, birds, etc) and wildflowers

I absolutely LOVED this walk/hike! Such a beautiful area, and the sun was shining and the snow was glittering. My dog loved it, too! We saw several turkeys, and lots of tiny mysterious animal tracks (bunnies??) Only a few other people on the trail that day, light traffic for sure! Some of the trail was dicey with some wet snow/ice due to the warm day and sun and going up little hills or traversing the rocks, but still doable!

Had a great experience. This location. Met some very nice people and the camping facilities was amazing. The facility was clean, was kept up daily and they provided wood and ice delivery. Every evening. There was hiking, fishing and exploring. The sun rises and sunsets were magnificent .Caught a lot of fish and would definitely go back again.

Stayed at the cabin, it was very well maintained. In the winter the water is shut off, but electricity is available. There is a mini fridge, microwave and heater in the cabin. Cabin is big enough for 5 adults. Hot shower available at the restroom. Big windows throughout each side of the walls, amazing views!
Checkin time is 4pm, entry instruction should be an envelope in the black box next to front door. Checkout time is 11am, you are expected to sweep the floor and take out trash prior to checkout to avoid additional cleaning fees. Recommend and will return!

Beautiful area with great views. We spent a few nights here in our RV. The RV spots are well spaced apart and area around is well manicured. (Beware of the sprinkler times.) There are several camp areas all joined together with walking & bike trails. Lots of hiking trails to the top of Steamboat rock (great views and very do-able with good shoes) and through the desert area around it. Great swimming and beach area. The facilities are great and kept very clean. Prices are a bit on the high side, ($50 a night) but what isn't these days.

Probably one of the best state park campgrounds we have stayed at. The sites were very well appointed, level and large. We were in site 112 which was a perfect location with unobstructed (Apart from a few trees) lake views. Whilst you are here, and if you are able bodied take a walk up Steamboat Rock. Wear good walking boots though as some parts are more climbing than walking!
The lake area was relatively shallow and went out a long way near our site, perfect for a morning swim.

This was our first time at Steamboat Rock state park, and likely won't be our last. The park is quite large and stretches along the part of Banks resovoir call the Devils Punchbowl.
The park has a wide variety of activities such as hiking, including a trail to the top of Steamboat Rock, water activities, fishing, and simply relaxing. Grand Coulee dam is a short drive from the campground. A hike up the Northrop canyon trail is a definite must do as well. A short drive is needed to access the trailhead.
The camp sites were large and most have full hook ups, although there are some that do not. Fish cleaning stations, showers and clean restrooms are the norm. Beyond the creature comforts is the beauty of the desert, with lots of wildflowers in bloom.
A really nice campground where we found friendly staff, clean campgrounds and surroundings, and plenty to keep everyone entertained.

This is a great place with camping and fishing. kayak alongside huge granite boulders. Watch wild turkeys roam the grounds, while deer eat the lush green grass in the large open areas. There's plenty of fish to be caught from shore or by boat. Dogs must be leashed. Children can play on the huge playground near the boat ramp. Swimming is available.
Scenic, expansive landscape of scalloped cliffs & groundwater-fed lakes, plus a visitor center.
Stunning Missoula flood artifact. The best view is right off the side of the highway north of the state park entrance. Absolutely recommend when in the area.

We have camped at several WA state parks over the years and Memorial Day weekend 2023 was hands-down the worst weekend camping I have ever experienced, at SunLakes Dry Falls state campground in our travel trailer. Why? Well, 90 percent of the restrooms were locked closed the whole time (on a holiday camping weekend? Nice weather? Why?! Please don't blame it on "staffing" - makes zero sense.) Also - goose droppings literally all over the grass and beach the whole weekend. Um - this is a serious danger to very young kids. Also - mosquitoes. Like, the. Worst. Mosquito. Experience. I. Have. Had.... in my life. To the point that it was a health hazard to me and do my dog. Mosquitoes are a health hazard, as is, DEET, but - what do you do? And before you say "mosquitoes and bugs are just a natural part of camping," here is my rebuttal to that - WA state should have closed this park down and refunded/notified everyone because of this until they got it under control. Period. They are well aware it is a problem because they have bat houses there to try to control them. They have the ability to spray for them and they just refused. It became apparent to me that park revenue was more important to them than the basic health of the campers and pets. Yikes! All these issues yet their camping rates are still so costly. No more Eastern WA camping for us until we verify there are no mosquito issues.

Breath taking place. Went to a lower point of it (Dry Falls Lake) and to the high point (Dry Falls Vista House) where all the beauty can be viewed from above. There are a lot of parks and resorts before getting to the destination, like Parks Lake or Sun Lake resort. There is also a golf corse in that area. Good place for family to spend time at. (Swimming, fishing, playground, hiking). Enjoyed this place with my family.

Great place to visit, endless veiw at the visitor center. The veiw is even better when you drive down to Dry Falls Lake. Note: The road to the lower lakes is paved but the cut off road for Dry Falls is ruff, rocky and fun.

Simply one of the most stunning examples of the power of natural forces. Seeing this formed in a matter of hours would have been both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The visitors center is in desperate need of a remodel/ restoration but is loaded with information for those who are curious and would like to know about geologic catastrophism. The park ranger we spoke with was VERY knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about this natural wonder. Please don't hesitate to ask the rangers questions, that's why they're there! Please, please stop and experience the Dry Falls for yourself.

When I was a child, my family drove right past this natural wonder every summer... without ever stopping! Mom and dad, why, oh why didn't we stop to see Dry Falls?! Simply one of the most astounding displays of nature I have ever seen. Standing there with the realization that only 15,000 years ago, that very spot was under a raging torrent of water more than 400 feet deep with another 400 foot drop for the falls. Just amazing! A must see!

So we seen this place called the Scablands online and it seemed impressive and we really wanted to explore it. There was also an ice cream vendor right there. Nice stop.

The Danny boy grill was solid. Great service, food and drinks.
Truly a unique experience and most definitely worth the drive from western Washington and/or a flight in from another area. I would choose to play this course ofer a lot of the courses down in the southwest.

Just got back from a guy's trip at Gamble Sands. We stayed at the resort 2 nights and played 3 rounds of golf on the main course. The course is very fun. Lots of risk reward and based off the tees you can make it as hard or manageable as you want. The wind completely changes the course. We played one round on a windy day and had to hit drivers, into the wind, on the last par 3 then hit 400 yard drives on the last par 5, with the wind. I will definitely come back to play here. The rooms are very nice and overlook a large putting green. I enjoyed all my meals at the resort, they are a bit understaffed but these days who isn't? The short course, Quick Sands, is a fun play after the 18 hole round. Think, Shorty's at Bandon.

Went on a Washington road trip with some friends and played gamble sands. This is a top 25 golf heaven destination in the world and the best golf facility in the state. We played the quick sands par 3, hit the range, got some drinks, and then played the course. The service was incredible, the quick sands was the most fun par 3 course I’ve ever played, and the bar and restaurant was top notch. The course was immaculate. I wanted to play barefoot the fairways were so nice. Tight dry fun links course that encouraged creative shot making and lots of different ways to get it done especially when the wind picked up. The views were incredible and the course was very playable so we had a blast not getting beat up by the course and being rewarded for good shots.
Can’t wait to see the new course they are building and praying I get the opportunity to play again.
Wish they had a cart girl or the turn restaurant open bc they would’ve gotten $100 more out of me in drinks we were having such a fun day

Over-rated and over priced. The course was well maintained but there are so many other nicer courses across Washington state.. $280 a round was ridiculous considering no place of play management. First class experience last wknd at Gamble Sands. Absolutely immaculate condition. Very fun, interesting and playable golf course. Plenty of cool holes that make you think and consider course management. Stunning backdrop and setting between the holes and around the golf course. Just amazing. And the Par 3 course was a great warmup to the main course. Drove from Vancouver BC and it was absolutely worth every minute of the drive. Stayed overnight at the Inn and the rooms were great. Loved the huge putting green right out front of the Inn as well. There’s a little pool and a bunch of outdoor fire pits for after golf. A bar and restaurant on site so you really don’t need to leave the premises all weekend. Perfect spot for a big golf weekend. Definitely plan on coming back soon. Highly recommended. Stoked for the day they open the 2nd full course!

A little pricey, but worth it at least once. I think I paid like $300 for a weekend round in early May. The starter recommended buying the course guide booklet and he was spot on. Saved me 5 strokes easy. Beautiful fairways and greens with so much scenic vistas from the tee boxes. And pace of play was excellent. I'd love to play it again, just maybe at the twilight rate.

Gamble Sands opened early this year so we took advantage of some early bird pricing and spent 2 nights onsite at The Inn.
The golf course was in good early season condition, however, the greens left a little to be desired. Some greens were fast, others were shaggy and slow, and there were also a couple where you were putting through dirt. It was a bit of a mixed bag which can be expected early season, however, we did call multiple times in advance asking specifically about the greens and this information was not relayed, which would have been nice.
We didn’t let it take away from overall experience which was very positive. The course is spectacular and Gamble Sands does a good job of spacing out groups….we rarely had to wait. The staff at the pro shop were all friendly and professional and were flexible when we needed to shift around tee times. We felt accommodated by that team.
We were disappointed that the practice putting green in front of The Inn was unplayable due to the grass needing to be cut as that’s something we look forward to when coming to Gamble and Quicksands was also not open.
The facilities at Gamble Sands are amazing, with the new “Barn” an amazing addition. The grab and go menu is top notch with the breakfast burrito one of the best I have had. The other restaurant’s food and service was excellent, good portions and we left meals extremely satisfied.
We booked a King and received a Double Queen at check in, which the staff quickly resolved for us with a return visit to the check-in desk, however, our room heater didn’t work the 2nd night so we slept in puffy coats in the cold. We attempted to call to get it looked at, however could not get through to anybody. We mentioned it in the morning and were told “we will send somebody to fix it right away”. We were checking out so at that point and were just letting them know.
Overall, the rooms are amazing, comfortable beds, big showers and large balconies with incredible views.
We love Gamble Sands, usually go every year and will be back when the new course opens in 2025.

Food: you have to get the tatertot appetizer!! Just go for it! It is enough for 4 people to eat as a meal, so if you order salads and the tott thing you will be all set.
The meals we had were delicious. The portions are big so you may want to consider splitting if you dont have a huge appetite.
All in all, this place is a must visit if you are in Brewster.

Gamble Sands is a truly special place. Our group of 4 booked a stay and play package the weekend after Labor Day, and played the full course twice, and Quicksands twice. I loved the tranquil feeling of the resort more than anything. We remarked on a few occasions just how quiet the surroundings are while playing. When you couple that, and the panoramic views from everywhere on the course, you really do get the feeling that you’ve got the place to yourself. The course is so much fun! We had an eclectic mix of handicaps ranging from 4-16 and all of us felt that it was fair, yet challenging. After a few holes you start to realize that playing the humps and bumps of the course is the way to go, as opposed to the typical high flop shot approaches etc. I’ve heard some say that the undulations are gimmicky, but I disagree. The Quicksands course might qualify as such, but it’s meant to be played for fun and not taken too seriously (in my opinion). A couple downsides, and these are pretty minor really, is the Danny Boy restaurant is a little mediocre. The steak and the pork tenderloin I had the night before were just average, and the range balls are pretty worn out. These are minor gripes, and didn’t affect the overall trip. The Inn is awesome! The rooms are very nice and feel upscale, and you’ve gotta love waking up with a hot coffee, cool morning, and a massive football field size putting green to play around on before the big boy course. We will certainly be back when the new course is finished and I highly recommend making the trek to Gamble Sands if you’re reading this and wondering if it’s worth the hype and journey. It absolute is. The resort is equal parts Bandon (Resort type feel) Chambers Bay (Big and forgiving) and Wine Valley (Course conditions and layout).
I liked the School Museum better than the Ghost Town Museum just down the road. As the town declined its school district combined with Oroville. The town decided to leave it the way it stopped in 1969. So part of the building has classrooms remaining like you were transported back to 69. For me, a true memory lane. The rest of the building is an extensive museum on the town's history and life in the old days. There is a lot to look at!

We really enjoyed these museums! The old schoolhouse was full of interesting items from old homesteads, as well as full set-ups of classrooms, a library, etc. Grandma enjoyed seeing all of the things she remembered from her school days, and the kids would have spent all day there if they could have. The ghost town was also fun to walk around. Our 8 year old got bored at that one, but our 11 year old was enthralled. The museum is free, but there's a donation jar on the main floor. Definitely worth a visit if you're anywhere nearby!

Molson Schoolhouse and Old Town were part of a 190 mile driving tour of the Okanogan Highlands for a small group of British cars. Everyone really enjoyed both places and really wanted to spend more time at each. There is so much history and interesting things to see that I know folks are planning to return in the summer. The volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend planning to spend several hours to a day there as there is too much to see in just a couple hours!

Very interesting museum. The 2 room's in the school were preserved from the last classes held in 1968-69.

Fun tourist stop but wish they offered more history about the town itself.

Really interesting Time Capsule. My husband and I came all the way from Seattle to see Molson and the school museum. It did not disappoint! I recommend walking a couple blocks down the road to see the historical site too.

The building is beautiful and very well taken care of. The variety of artifacts and how well they are taken care of shows that the museum takes very good care of everything on site. This is a must see local history museum, and really shows slices of the lives lived in town and in the school. If you are a fan of farming and small town history, add this one to your list!

We loved this museum. It’s a school which was active from 1914 to 1969 and then turned into museum. It’s an old school with very interesting facts and history to know about.
We were nostalgic with the classroom setups as it just reminded of our childhood days of school. They also had a library section, one science lab and lots of antique pieces.
Downstairs used to be the gym which is being turned into history museum. It’s been very well taken care. This museum is free but there is a donation jar on the main floor.
Me and my husband visited this place from Seattle and Molson didn’t disappoint us at all. We also checked the Ghost town.

30-45 minutes from the Osoyoos! If you love mining history, this is a must see attraction. It's like stepping back in time. The museum is located in an old decommissioned school house (which is a beautiful relic). Best part is, some of the staff working in the museum actually attended school and are full of local history. Pack a lunch (with wine) and drive on down to Molson.

One of my favorite small and authentic museums! Local folks who grew up here volunteer during open hours. Be sure to ask about their history living there!

This was one of the coolest old museum I have been in, the tool collection in the old gym was amazing, the lovely Ladies that greet you when you come in were full of stories, if you just spend a little time chatting with then, I will definitely stop by the museum next time I'm here.
The Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre is a conservation and learning center that showcases the desert environment and First Nations culture. Visitors can enjoy theaters, trails, and a sculpture garden while learning about the local flora, fauna, and indigenous history. The center's display areas are informative and engaging with interesting creatures such as rattlesnakes on view. There is also a gift shop stocked with locally made items by indigenous makers at various price points.
They have hiking trails (short hikes), a continuous show throughout the day, and talks about native snakes of the area. Saw a baby snake on the trail. Restaurant, a hotel with an outdoor swimming pool and a winery. I only had one day to explore, will come back again. Very friendly staff and informative.

Must visit! There is a loop trail, about 30-40 mins walk. Beautiful views and you can meet lots of animals, like deer or rattlesnake (we didn't see rattlesnake but I'm honestly not sad about it).

I visited this place for the second time this summer. Absolutely recommended for adults and families with children. Explore the traditional ways of living of the aboriginal peoples of Okanagan valley. Learn about their history and culture. Walk the real desert and take some scenic pictures. Visit the souvenir shop and support local artists.
There is a large parking available, washrooms and everything you might need. Make sure you arrive no later than 2:30-3pm because the museum closes at 4 p.m. and you might not have enough time.
One thing I would like to mention. There are several information signs that are pretty worn out and faded. This makes self-guided tours pretty limited

This was a fantastic place to visit! We enjoyed the displays and the movies, very informative! The rattle snake and other creatures were really interesting to see as well. Loved the outside display areas. The gift shop had a variety of items locally made by indigenous makers. The shop was well stocked with items at different price points. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really thought it was well worth the visit!

This is a beautiful place showcasing local indigenous culture. The seeing is spectacular and the building is beautiful. They have this and other activities at set times, though that may be seasonal. We only had a short amount of time because we arrived late. It is definitely worth a visit though, but arrive earlier to take full advantage, especially if they have events or yours going on. I believe when we were there they were offering guided tours and some kind of snakes thing! (There are snakes in the area including rattle snakes.).

Osoyoos Lake is a picturesque lake located on the US-Canada border, offering a range of water activities such as kayaking, water skiing and fishing. It is known for being the warmest lake in British Columbia, with an average summer temperature of 24 degrees Celsius. The location also boasts many tourist attractions including pubs, restaurants, cafes and fast food joints. It is situated in Canada's desert region which offers visitors access to numerous wineries and fruit stands in the area.
Osoyoos lake is vast and it spreads into canada and USA.
Very peaceful location with nice facilities

Lake Osoyoos spans more than 5,700 acres and straddles the border of British Columbia, Canada and Washington state in the United States.
The Okanagan River flows into Lake Osoyoos in a semi-arid region of British Columbia known as Desert Wine Country. This region has very low annual rainfall and some of the highest average temperatures in Canada. In fact, the lake is the warmest in Canada and is located in Canada’s only desert.

Stayed Oct 30th until April 29th. Beautiful. Check out the activities.
It was -21 before Christmas. OMG! Didnt expect that. But 27C today.
Locals are very welcoming. They do love snowbirds. First question everyone asks is "where are you from"? Snowbirds contribute to their winter economy. I have met people from Ontario to Northern BC. Golf comes early.
The population is apparently 6000 in the winter and 65,000 in the summer during tourist season, Summer. Known to have temps in the high 30's.
Beautiful Mountain town.

Amazing lake to visit !! We had great family vacation
The Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad is a captivating attraction featuring multiple trains running on over a kilometer of HO scale track through a sprawling diorama. The landscape depicts European towns and villages, complete with interactive sensors and scenes that transition into night mode and even simulate thunderstorms. Despite the small size for the price, visitors of all ages can appreciate the intricate details, from quirky hidden scenes to rolling landscapes.
Wonderful attraction. Great for any age. There's so much detail you could go three times and not see everything. The interactive sensors and scenes really help keep the little ones engaged. The whole setup can go into night mode and a thunderstorm too! There's funny little scenes hidden through out. Raunchy, accidents robberies, quaint little towns and rolling landscapes.

Not very big for the price. Just one large room. It was interesting to see but not worth almost $20 for two people. $5 is more realistic for what you get. Nice people. Very clean. Gift shop downstairs was very expensive. Would be nice if it had Air conditioning. We went here to escape the 40 degree heat wave in Osoyoos. It was very hot inside which was uncomfortable.

Great stop we've been to a couple of times. So many details to spot throughout the display and costs 6 of us less than $50 to get in. You can spend as much or as little time in the display as you would like!
Spotted Lake is a secure body of water recognized for its sizable "spots," which are formed by its wide-ranging mineral accumulations. The lake's striking appearance is due to the unique blend of minerals that have settled on its bed over time. Despite being an appealing sight, it's not possible to approach or access the lake directly. Its protected status serves as a guarantee that it remains intact and undisturbed for future generations to appreciate from afar.
After passing by on multiple occasions, the distinctiveness of the spots visible during this mid-November visit is particularly noteworthy. The heightened visibility and appeal of these attractions make this occasion especially worthwhile, marking them as key points of interest that merit a deliberate pause for exploration and appreciation.
Foodie Vancouver — Google review
Visited early September. Spots were visibile but there was no color. A bit disappointed but I guess September isn't the right time of year for this. The lake is closed off to the public. You can observe from the pullout area off the highway. Max 5 cars can fit in the area. Easy to miss if you aren't looking for it.

Spotted Lake in Osoyoos is undeniably a marvel of nature, boasting a truly unique appearance that draws visitors from around the world.
However, the restricted access and limited viewpoint from the road can be disappointing for some, as it doesn't allow for a closer exploration of the lake's intriguing features. The lack of infrastructure, including parking lots, detracts from the overall experience. Nonetheless, the surrounding natural beauty adds to the allure of the area, making it a worthwhile stop for nature enthusiasts despite its limitations.

I saw this lake on the list of the most unique lakes in the world a few times so when the opportunity came I went to visit. I was a little disappointed since you cannot go down to the lake but only see it from a limited viewpoint by the road. The lake is definitely unique but not sure if pretty, haven't decided yet :D I definitely love the nature around. The drive from Vancouver to this lake was stunning though.
Livia Ravees — Google review
Beautiful place to see along the side of the highway. I was happy to see that this area is protected by a fence and gate to ensure the area is not exposed to the types of tourists that don't seem to care to preserve anything as sacred as this.
While stopped we noticed a young bear enjoying the area too, which made the whole experience even more magical.
If you are near by, pull over and see the beauty with your own eyes. Be respectful as well.
Nature is amazing!

A nice peaceful location with a beautiful drive there! The spotted lake itself wasn’t as great as expected and is somewhat overhyped. The gate is locked and you can’t go near the lake. There’s parking outside the locked gate for about two cars. Nice to stop by if it’s enroute to your next destination, but not really worth making a special trip just to see the lake.

We accidentally spotted this spotted lake while on the way to osoyoos. There were few cars lined up and we thought of stopping by and surprise!!! beautiful unique lake. The only disappointment is that you have to observe from the side of highway. You cannot go down as the lake is closed off to the public. Can be easily missed. Worth not missing.

. It is one of the remarkable wonders of the world and calls “the most magical place in Canada”. It initially looks like other lakes, but in the summer months when most of the water evaporates, hundreds of abundant salty pools remain. It contains different minerals in yellow and blue colors. Minimal life survives due to the extremely salty condition of the lake.
This lake is not only a remarkable physical feature, but also a very important historical and spiritual site for the local First Nation Peoples.
Groundwater, the crimes of falling snow and rains fill these pools. However, when the weather is hot and dry in the summer months, most of the water evaporates and leaves behind colored pools separated by minerals. Colored pools are different mineral concentrations of compounds such as calcium, sodium sulfate and magnesium sulfate. Its different colors are because it contains a variety of different minerals. It contains 8 different minerals.
This is the only vineyard you need to visit. Wow. Such beautiful grounds. Owned & run by sister-in-laws. Free tastings & stories told with every sip. A beautiful winery off the main highway near Oliver. We were looking for unique wineries, and my girlfriend and I are partial to sweeter white wines. Somebody told us to go to Silver Sage, and we were not disappointed.
We met Elena, an absolute gem of a lady, who shared stories and made this an unforgettable experience. Every one of the wines were so unique to any other I’ve tasted (and I’ve tasted a lot), and we left in awe of not only the opportunity to spend time with Elena (and if the world had more people like her, the world would be a better place), but we walked out with some of the best wines I’ve ever had.

Warm and welcoming experience at this winery. After visiting 4 other winery’s this one ended up on the top of my list. They are instantly welcoming upon walking in the door. They offer a free wine tasting experience that was filled with laughter, jokes and yet very knowledgeable. They didn’t instantly judge you coming in the door as to how rich you were and how much money you were going to spend as some of the other winery’s did. Very reasonably priced wines, very taste worthy, no sulfites in their wines which is hard to find. I give them 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Our group of 10 enjoyed a sunny and delicious tasting at Blasted Church yesterday. It’s rare for me to like every wine offered during a wine tasting, in fact that just doesn’t happen. Blasted Church was the exception. They’re celebrating their 20th year. The setting is something too. We sat by the pool, taking in the presentation along with that view and very good wine. Beautiful patio, friendly service, average wines, and terrible food. We ordered what turned out to be about 20 taco chips wrapped in plastic and a plastic container of a tasty dip for 16.50$?! The Painted Rock Estate Winery offers a variety of high-quality wines, including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and more. To be eligible for the Winery of the Year and Top Wineries lists, at least five wines must be entered with the top-scoring entries being used to determine these lists.
Recently visited Painted Rock for a tasting with my wife Jane, who works for Everything Wine. We got a special tasting with John, the owner. It was incredible. We could have sit and listened to the stories all day. Sitting in a beautiful setting, with wonderful wines listening to the story was enchanting. The wine was excellent, but the service wasn't great. We only had 3 out of the 4 wines even though we paid for it. The server wouldn't give us the last tasting wine because we were 10 minutes late. (We called to let them know and was very apologetic) I would recommend buying their wine, but do not expect them to treat you well at the tasting room.
UPDATE:
The manager and owner of Painted Rock Winery reached out to our group to apologized. They invited us back to their patio with complementary goodies, however we had already left Penticton. Because we couldn't join them on their patio, they mailed us a bottle of their 2019 Chardonnay.
Although we weren't treated well at the winery by one of their staff, the manager and owner took every actions to rectify their mistake. We are very pleased at how they dealt with this situation, and we can't wait to dig in to their tasty Chardonnay! Thanks!

We will definitely be back to visit next time we are in Penticton! Thanks again, Dawn and Monique!

Our favourite winery.
We love this place - amazing wines and location. Friendly and helpful staff and love the design.

Amazing view, beautiful modern architecture, excellent service, very tasty charcuterie (although seemingly a little overpriced for what we paid for), and wine was very good. Also no flights available when we got there. It was only by the glass/bottle so, since we were going to other wineries, we didn't get to try their other selection.

I love the modern design of the building and I enjoy something a little different than the Naramata Bench. They mostly serve red wine which is not my favorite but the others in my group thoroughly enjoyed the wine. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

The tasting room at Painted Rock is located on some prime land looking out over their vineyard down the Skaha lake. It would be a fantastic view on a clear (non smoky) day. The building is very contemporary and opens wide up into a patio and grassy courtyard. I found all their wines to be very good. I think their Chardonnay was one of the best I have had within the entire valley. They are dog friendly and allow the dogs to be outside on the patio/courtyard. Definitely check out the Painted Rock vinery.

An outstanding wine tasting experience. Stunning tasting room and grounds. Leisurely and decadent way to try some very special wines.
Skaha Lake Park is a spacious 21-acre recreational area, boasting a sandy beach and ample space for picnics, sports, and playtime on the children's playground. In addition to its various amenities, the park offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and calming vibes that make it an ideal spot for family walks or leisurely strolls on the boardwalk. Visitors can also enjoy delicious treats from an ice cream stand during summer months while taking in views of ducks that frequent the area.
Fires with the good people. If there's a bother, it's usually a good personage who wants to clean up the community. Always glad for the justification and opportunity to learn individual persons. In truth I hate people, in group mentality though. Oh and there's ducks.

Such a beautiful place to go walking, and enjoy the beautiful views. I loved the exercise equipment, and how clean the bathrooms were, I greatly appreciated the heat in the bathroom. ❤️ This will definitely be one of our go to walking spots, when we visit family.

Great place for family, nice and open area for family walks.
Has a ice cream place in summer and playground for kids.
Nice clean beach and lot of benches to sit and enjoy the view .

This park is awesome! Was here for an outrigger race event. Lots of space and big old trees for shade. The washrooms are pretty good. They have a snack shack by the washrooms. Parking is plenty. There's a spray park for the kiddos. The beach is fairly steep as there's a sharp drop off from shore. Highly recommend for an outdoor gathering.

Very scenic and relaxed vibes. Nice boardwalk to take a stroll alongside.

Park is nice and clean. Sand here is better than the okanagan lake. It's peaceful here and you can find some water activities during the weekend. There should be some rides or playarea for the kids.

Great park and beach. Some bonfire pits, volleyball area, Mexican food and Tickleberry's Ice Cream shop. Gondola, out door workout machines, basketball courts, playground, dragon boating, boating launch, soon to have Dragon Boat Pub, paddleboard/kayak rental spot. Lots to do and great place to relax for a bit or the day.

Beautiful park and atmosphere. The dragon boat pub and ice cream shops nearby are awesome as well. Also there is volleyball courts, tennis courts, lots of picnic tables and a playground nearby for kids. I found the park to be a great place to run it’s not overly busy and there is a lovely breeze even in summertime with hot weather.

Awesome beach and beautiful park. I was impressed by the majestic mountain view added to the vastness of this lake. It is a treat for one's senses. Definitely one of the most beautiful scenery in BC.

What a great place to spend some time in the lake. Bathrooms close by, lots for the kids to do, water was beautiful. Easy to get to. Great place and a must to see while you are in the area.

It's one of my favorite places to go for the dragon boating competition in September. Very nice beaches, bbq pits, good views, and friendly people. Penticton is a very neat place with a lot of good bars and coffee places as well.
If you are in the city, check those beaches out. Skaha lake park is a good place to visit

What a fantastic bike ride. Definitely worth using the shuttle service provided by Hoodoo Adventures in Penticton to Myra Canyon and making it a full day. Or if you are short on time you can take the shuttle to Chute lake and go from there.
Jennifer Murphy — Google review
Some parts are great but other sections are extremely sandy and impossible to ride your bike.
BC government seems to be very proud of this rail trail and they say it’s suitable for bikes, but the sad reality is they are letting ATVs and motorbikes in the trail, which destroy the the ground. As long as these motorized vehicles keep running in the trail, the ground will become getting worse and worse.

Thrilling vistas and wide pathways alongside some private property that hosts some good art and a great view of the Penticton sign

An unexpected delight.
Beautiful site, thoughtfully laid out gardens. Lots to sketch and paint (if that's what you like).
Enthusiastic owners who are passionate about the oasis they have created.
Light, fresh fare for lunch.
I could have spent hours there.

A great place to stop to learn more about the people who lived here over 100 years ago, the technique they used to process the grain into flour. In the mill everything was explained to us by a very nice elderly gentleman.

This palce is truly a gem! Highly recommend visiting it. It was so great to hear about different historical varieties of wheat they preserve there and to see a functioning mill.

Wonderful gem of a place! We are so happy Google showed us this place. Perfect outing for a family with young children. Also pet friendly (on a leash)! Wonderful gift shop with fantastic locally made products! Easily could have bought more (and we bought a lot!) Friendly and easy going staff. Beautiful gardens (simple but lovely) Cannot recommend this place enough! Stop by if you have the opportunity!

A hidden gem for sure. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the tour is fascinating. When we arrived the owner greeted us and was super friendly. We chatted for a bit before going exploring (see all the beautiful pics). This is one of my new favorite spots and I will be making it a regular stop for me when I am in town. The restaurant was not open so I now have something to look forward to for my next visit. Stop in and you won't be disappointed.

We went mid week, and it was such a beautiful, quiet place to visit. It was great to learn more of the history of the valley from the Miller- he seems to know every inch of the building and the history of the site. His enthusiasm was infectious, and I left with such appreciation for our time there. I highly recommend a visit.

General review:
Beautiful and interesting place to visit, especially in the summer months. Lovely gardens, interesting historical site, nice little cafe open for lunch (soup, sandwiches etc).
Wedding location review:
Would be an excellent location for. Rustic wedding ceremony and reception. They can accommodate about 100 guests in an outside venue, and perhaps 30-40 to have a small reception inside.
Camping Review:
The Grist Mill has 11 RV sites with full hookups for $30/night (w/reservation), $20 without, though it is a popular spot so I suggest reserving. Sites #1 and #11 most private, though you are still next to your neighbors. Creek runs behind the site. Wood burning firepits on site. Dogs ok. Tents / Tent trailers also ok.
Free parking for one vehicle per site.
Decent and clean Bathroom with hot water around the side of the main museum building for campers and visitors, but NO showers on site. Could wipe down wash/wash hair in bathroom / in a stall if you brought a couple of buckets and towel (one for soapy water and one for rising). Sani dump station in Keremeos but not hose to rinse drain spouts and drain line etc.
Overall, a good multi purpose and aestheticically pleasing facility in Keremeos.
See their website for more information.

Do you like to discover local history when you travel? The Grist Mill and Gardens at Keremeos is a great place to pick up the back story on this charming village. From it's inception way back in 1877, the Grist Mill was a hub in effect, where the local farmers would come to get any grain they had grown, milled. The water wheel still turns and is fascinating to watch spilling water back into the Keremeos Creek. It is full of charm and old world magic...tour the buildings including a lovely "summer kitchen" and the lovingly curated gardens. The restaurant is very basic but delish. The parking fairly scant...but a very worthwhile stop...bring a picnic and travel back in time. They also offer amazing music events at this location!

Authentic dinner and educational experience!
We attended the brisket long table dinner and the food was great! Fresh from the farms around and the beef was excellent. We also thoroughly enjoyed our company during the meal, one of the volunteers at the mill named Florence. We quite enjoyed our dinner conversations with her and then the tour of the grounds which were very interesting and beautiful! —There is a great heritage garden up the hill behind the mill with fantastic views- don’t miss it. The proprietor is a very kind and knowledgeable man and was excited to talk about our experience here and our businesses back home. Can’t wait to come back!

It's okay, not what the pictures show... But hey, it's a campsite and they've got RV and regular electrical hookups if you need it.
The ground is mostly level but pegging down is hard because there are a lot of rocks in the ground. Firepits are provided so as long as there isn't a fire ban you are good, but you'll have to find your own wood because that isn't available here.
Edit: improvements have been made and the sites are very well kept. Nice shades areas and washrooms are available. Wood can be found at gas stations for about $10 a bundle (and they are small bundles). Or there are plenty of places on Facebook marketplace that sell brickets and ends for $20 a blue Tupperware (60 ish litre bins). (pictured is 2 bins of wood).
Great fruit selection with great prices and very good quality. A bunch of other things to buy like honey, drinks, jerky, snacks, kombucha, samosas, hot dogs, ice cream. Large store with lots to see and look around

Nice stop on our way out of the area, picked up some treats for us and to bring back for family and friends. Grab some ice cream cones and try and find the old rail trail up behind the store and the orchard for a nice walk with some good views of the scenery around there.

The apples here are amazing!
Delicious pear juice was being sold here and it was almost double the Apple juice price.. but well worth it!
One of the staff members was in a bit of a grouchy mood when we were there but not towards us thankfully haha.
Very large selection for the season!
