Kelly Park is a natural park that offers activities such as swimming, hiking, volleyball and playground. Visitors can bring their tubes to float along the Rock Springs Run which flows into the Wekiva River. The water temperature remains cool around 68F (20C) throughout the year but visitors can sunbathe in between dips to warm up. There are no significant threats of alligators or snakes in this area.
Very pretty and relaxing place. We are lucky to live only five minutes away, but we don’t come nearly that often as in the spring and summer time getting in is very difficult. People come way in advance of its opening hours and the parking gets full very fast which means Park does not admit anymore guests after the park hits its capacity. We just went in January and despite slightly chilled weather, the water was very refreshing, although on the colder side. Nice place to get out and bring the family. Getting in is pretty cheap, $3 for 2 people and $5 for 3-8 people.

this park is spacious, clean and quiet. its water sources are beautiful. You can breathe fresh air. Very familiar. Handsome. Awesome place to spend the day. I paid $3 for my husband and I, so it's cheap. I recommend it.

My first time going here. The water was absolutely beautiful. Water wasn't deep except in a few areas. Lots of big rocks, would suggest good water shoes. Nice picnic areas with grills. Enjoyed the day and would definitely go again.

Come here almost every year for my birthday and it has always been wonderful. The park is breathtakingly gorgeous. The water is crystal clear and cold. I love that there is a rushing current and not just a still pool of water. Taking the tubes down the stream is so nice. I love to swim it but BE WARNED the rocks are no joke. The currents are fast enough to slam your shin or toe into those rocks and it will mess you up. If you aren't careful of where the boulders under water are. You are in for a very rude awakening.
So swim with caution. One end of the stream is fast moving. The other is very calm and slow moving. I usually go here in July or August when it's blistering heat outside and the water is very refreshing and cold. But I actually just went in February when it was in the 60s and the water actually felt warm in comparison to outside. We couldn't wait to get back in the water. And the park was EMPTY. Coming here early helps. The park on peak days can fill up very quickly. And the earlier you come the more luck you have with seeing wildlife like the otters. Great place to bring family and friends and have a BBQ or picnic and swim all day.

Kelly Park / Rock Springs is a family favorite for us. The tubing run is shallow enough that our older kids enjoy it with our younger kids wearing a floatation device. They also love hunting for shark teeth! There's a great beach area under oak trees that the younger kids enjoy too! Arrive early on summer days and weekends because it will reach capacity quickly....

Very fun. You can rent tubes right outside the park and drive them in. They have a little store front where you can buy food for so cheap! They have veggie burgers for those who are vegetarian. The spring is very cold but so so fun. I recommend going on a week day so it's not too busy. You can go down the spring as much as you want.

About: Beautiful spring. One of my favorites. Kelly Park has camping, a snack shack (pricy), plenty of places to hold a party, and a great spring, to say the least. You can walk to the head of the spring and float down to the end. Or go for a walk on the short hiking trails. Need to know: Get to the park very early. In the summertime, people will start lining up to get in the park about an hour before opening. Camping, call about 6mo to a year in advance. I have camped down by rock springs before but not at Kelly yet. I do not think there are rental tubes, so bring your own.

A beautiful and well kept park.
The natural springs/swimming area are so cool! Reminded me of a pool set up, but actually more like a lake.
Plenty of sunny and shaded spots, and picnic benches throughout the area.
Clean restroom facilities (running water & flush toilets.)
The staff here is incredible, caring, and kind. I had some sketchy car problems and everyone continued to check in on me, offer help, and get me settled for the night. What a team! Thank you so much, Billy, Vicky, and Ingrid!

Very nice place. There is a beautiful trail around the river.

Beautiful little state park.
My only advice if you are determined to swim down the river - I recommend floating on a flotation device instead. There's two shallow rocks that the current might gently push you into. (Luckily it isn't too bad, but can result with a scraped knee only in one spot down the river). However this is a spot at the end of the river to actually swim in.
Other than that it's absolutely stunning to float on/ be around. There are plenty of picnic spots and shaded areas to lounge under when not swimming/floating.
There are some hiking trails to explore as well, along with a little convenience store that serves food if you forgot to bring your own.
Definitely recommend a try if you're looking for a nice local spot to swim.

We come here several times throughout the summer. It's a wonderful place to spend the day. You either have to be here really really early or reserve a pavilion to make sure you get in. However, it is very worth it. The water is beautiful and clear, the kids all love it. There are food and drinks but they only accept cash. There are several entry points to the spring. If you go all the way to the top it's a fast current with a lot of rocks. If you start about midway it's very relaxed and less rocky. :)
It's so fun, exciting, and relaxing.

Very clean park. The water was amazing. Difficult to find parking. The fee for the entry was around 5 dollars for 3 people. Good family fun that's not expensive

Have to get there before noon for Camp Joy paddleboarding, but the floating lasts all day. Only $3 for 2 people, beautiful water, not deep. Nice small float run you can do over and over. Great family space!

This was an incredible experience. One of my favorite things we did as a family on our 9 day vacation to Florida. My whole family including our teen boys loved this, and it was only $5 for a car of 6 people. If you have the time, it is a must-see, never knew how beautiful a fresh water spring could be. We Literally snorkled !
E. Carter — Google review
Great for little kids and seniors. Amazing beautiful. Get there before 7am because they give a limited number of tickets to enter and after that time you won't find ticket. The fee is about $1 per person, that is unbeatable. With floats or without them you will enjoy this beautiful spring and park. It also has trails.
Renninger's Flea Market & Antique Center is a large indoor and outdoor flea market that offers a wide range of antiques, musical instruments, and other items. The marketplace boasts rows upon rows of vendors, many buildings, and unique shops. Visitors should be prepared to navigate the hilly and dusty terrain by wearing sturdy shoes. Parking is ample but may require patience due to high demand. While shady areas are plentiful, visitors should also prepare for sunny spots by using sunscreen and staying hydrated.
Biggest Flea market I've been to in a while! Inside in the a.c. and walking around outside too... Saw plenty of places to eat from tacos to chicken on a stick, grilled corn on the cob and fresh made in front of you mini donuts! Great for a weekend trip! Highly recommend for families and the antique pickers!

So there's a lot going on on this property. I I've gone here a few years ago and it's pretty good. So at the light you have the main flea market. It's on the left side of the property. There are a few indoor buildings that lead into like outdoor open air sections which leads next to another open air section and then to a section that's got like outdoor areas and properties that have like plants and chickens and that kind of stuff. When you come down the hill on the right side of the property you have like a large parking area and then you have an antique flea market that also has like a little like Village of smaller buildings and sheds some of them are like pole barns. In between the antique flea market and the main flea market there is an event space. If you were trying to get to the event space when you're at the light or the entrance before the light you go in and you take a right. In front of you you will see the gate that brings you into the antique flea market you do not go in there. You will see some signs that talk about event parking which is right outside that gate. You park there and if you take a left at the antique gate about half a mile down the road will be a like metal structure that is the entrance into the event space. This is where a lot of the like craft shows/concerts/flea markets are. When you first get into this event space there is a large pole barn style structure that's got old wooden plywood tables. Then you have a like stage structure next to it and there are flushable bathroom stalls and porta potties around and there's lots of picnic benches in the area. One thing I do wish is that the events that they have are more advertised. For instance we went to an event there and they didn't have any signage at all on the road or even up where there's yellow event parking signs that are always there they had no parking signs about what the event was or where to go to get to the entrance. It's very simple fixes but they seem to always drop the ball.

There is so much to see. We went on the weekend of the antique extravaganza. There were a lot of people, but it did not feel crowded at all. Honestly, one day was not enough. I feel like we missed so much. Some parts indoors and air conditioned, others outside. There are stationary establishments down the art walk. If you're looking good enough, you will find what you need. Such an aray. Antique market, flea market, outside garage sale type tables, war memorabilia, signage, furniture, just everything.

Haven't been to a flea market in so long, so we decided to drive from Orlando to Mt.Dora for this location. This flea market did not disappoint. Lots of vendors from food, plants, jewelry, produce, and much more. My daughter even found some collectors edition dolls she's been looking for. The a/c portion of the market is outstanding when it's so hot and humid outside. It is on the smaller side compared to the flea world, which sadly closed. Will continue to visit to get cheaper produce and look around for hidden gems. Plus we didn't visit the antique side since we ran out of time.

Great antiques market this weekend at Mt Dora, Florida Antique Extravaganza Market. Many vendors with lots of vintage products to sell. Great food court with international cuisine.

We had fun walking around this flea market! There is a lot of junk but there are also some great gems. Whether you’re looking for vintage video games, toys, tools, phone accessories, purses, household items, pet supplies, army supplies, or just some delicious treats…this is a cool place to find all these things. Some stuff is old and some is new you never know what you’ll find!

Renninger's Extravaganza Weekend blew me away! So much to see, do, eat, drink, and enjoy! And I only scratched the surface. This place is HUGE! Rows upon rows of vendors, many buildings, little unique shops! Wonderful!
TIPS I LEARNED THE HARD WAY: Very hilly and dusty grounds, so bring sturdy shoes. Parking is plentiful, but be prepared to wait, so be patient. Lots of shady areas, but also many sunny, open-air places, too, so use sunscreen and hydrate!

Should have taken more photos from there but you can tell what I took notice of there - so much to see & lots of food to pick from - easy to spend a lot of time there- also during November, January & February- the 3rd weekend adds Extravaganza of antiques & more food

I love this flea market, and decided to go for my birthday on Feb. 17. I noticed some tents and such, but I wasn't looking for events and wasn't aware of any that weekend, since I don't use social media, and apparently the only place they list them is there. We parked where they told us to, and tried to enter the antique mall. I would have been happy to pay the extra for the even had the not been two elderly ladies at the entrance screaming at me that I had to pay before I even knew what was happening. There were no signs about the event, and is never had to pay to get in before, so I was a bit confused. I guess that isn't allowed. There's always been a few rude vendors, but I just chalked it i up to age and avoided their booths. Now, I don't want to come again at all. I have no desire to be screamed at by old ladies. I can get that at my grandmother's house for free.

The Florida Citrus Tower is a historical tower erected in 1956, offering breathtaking views from its observation deck situated at the height of 226ft. Tourists can conquer their fear of heights by taking a ride up to the top, which presents them with an unobstructed 360-degree view of eight counties in Central Florida. This popular tourist destination provides excellent photo opportunities and is highly recommended for anyone seeking to admire stunning scenery from high above.
Went here to the Citrus Tower and views were amazing. The is a great top over. You can see for miles. I would highly recommend this attraction at least one. Great photo opportunities. You won't be disappointed. to say the least. We spent about forty-five minutes here.

Built is 1956 this 226 foot tall tower offers 360 degree views that go for miles. The admission price is $11 for adults and $7 for children so it is very affordable for a unique experience in one of Floridas older attractions. There is a souvenir show at the base and plenty of photos with the history of the tower. Well worth the visit and doing so helps preserve it for future visitors.

I remember back in 1995, there were just orange groves all around the Citrus Tower. It was nice to see the place restored. A coffee place now is in the lobby. The tower looks great with spectacular views. Don't forget to ask for AAA discount!
John Medina — Google review
We've been in the area for five years now and have driven past it many times, and it was about time to check it out.
I bought tickets online through Groupon. There's plenty of parking, including covered parking adjacent to the building. Tickets can be bought inside the cafe, or pre-purchased tickets can be scanned. Yes, there's a neat little indoor cafe at the base of the tower. It offers a variety of hot beverages and several bread items.
Access to the top is via elevator. Pressing "2" gets you to the top. The enclosed platform atop the 22-story structure has some local historical information as well as compass points for directions. We were there with the hope of seeing the last Delta IV launch 60 miles away at KSC. Unfortunately, cloud coverage obscured it, although we could make out the rocket's contrail.
Surprisingly, quick a few people showed up for the launch, and again, there was nothing to see.
I find it an interesting way to kill half an hour. Bring binoculars if you have a pair. Have fun!
Larry Gross — Google review
I enjoyed my visit to the Citrus Tower. Would I do it again? Maybe. The Tower has a wonderful coffee shop on the first floor, and the elevator takes you to the only other floor, the second floor. I believe that this quite something in the fifties and sixties, with the piano roll playing and the miles and miles of citrus groves close by. Worth a visit, but bring binoculars.
Frances Sanderson — Google review
I really enjoyed the Citrus Tower; it's surrounded by a coffee shop (where you get your tickets and elevator access), and offers a nice place to grab a bite, as well as enjoy the 360° views of central Florida from 226' feet up!
The enclosed, climate controlled deck is clean and well-maintained (I spent maybe an hour up there and saw the custodial staff twice); offers seating and counters, signage that indicates points of interest for each direction, and menus from the cafe.
After talking to the very friendly and helpful staff, I learned this provides an excellent vantage point for rocket launches, although you'd likely want to plan ahead and arrive early, as the maximum capacity upstairs is 25.
One pass, at $11 (senior and child discounts available) gives you access for the whole day from open to close (7am-10pm), such as if you came in at 8am, left at 9am, and returned at 1pm.
Overall I was quite pleased with the experience; definitely worth a visit!

Great piece of local history along highway 27 in Clermont. Be sure to bring binoculars to get the most out of the view. The cafe at the base is pretty nice, too, and they serve a great orange-strawberry boba tea! This is just a quick sight and novelty - not an "all-day experience" by any means.

My wife and I drove a pretty good distance to visit this tower, and it was worth it. The coffee shop at the bottom and the view of the sunset at the top were both a wonderful combination. It was a neat experience for sure!

We loved it! I'm scared of heights but this wasn't bad at all. It's a great attraction and offers a great view of the surrounding region. At the base of the tower is a coffee shop and I recommend the Key Lime Pie cooler, it was delicious!

Don’t expect more than what is advertised.
The tower has terrific sunset views!!!
This is a tower that stands 226 feet tall, that’s 22 stories! Luckily, the tower is equipped with an operating elevator.
Upon entering you’ll purchase your ticket and find very limited souvenirs. T-shirts, a few pin designs and a magnet.
They do have a few snacks for purchase.
Once your out on the observation tower, providing it’s a clear day, you can view eight different counties.
The place was very clean, with plenty of FREE parking.
On 11.2.2021 adults tickets were $11.
Check Groupon first for discounted tickets.
In the same parking lot is Presidents Hall of Fame. They are not affiliated and have different hours so check before arrival.

Very cool old observation tower! The ground floor has a nice little coffee shop with boba tea and muffins, as well as a small citrus-themed gift shop area. Love the views of the surrounding area and the historic documents on the observation level. It is a little warm throughout the tower but it’s a tall structure in Florida during a record hot summer, what can ya do? Admission does cover the whole day though so that’s great.
Maelyn Bauman — Google review
It was my very first time visiting the tower. I ordered an orange hot chocolate and then went up to the observation deck. Quite a sight. Nothing but regular trees and buildings. That's progress. The air was kept cool. I liked the thing on the wall, where you drop a coin and it goes down the tower. It makes a clanking sound too. The prices are reasonable.
Keith Faulkner — Google review
"You've arrived" Google cheerfully announced, but looking around at the rundown parking lot and opaque windows, I wasn't so sure. I decided to drive around the building to see if there was a different, more welcoming looking entrance. There wasn't.
We entered into the coffee shop and asked about the tower, turns out we were in the right spot. For 30 bucks, we could ride the elevator, I was a little surprised when the tip percentage came up, but I assumed it was there for the coffee shop operations, so I clicked 0%. The staff let me know they were not impressed with my generosity.
We laughed about that awkward experience on the way up, in the slightly dilapidated elevator. Trying to not let the awkward purchase, ruin the experience. Well, turns out there wasn't much to ruin.
The elevator door opened, and we were instantly hit with the stale smell of wet dog, and a nice view. I don't know if it's the roof or the old windows (with foam squished around the edges), or both that leaked, but there was standing water around the perimeter of the elevated room. Credit to the owners, they provided plenty of fly swatters, fans, and a genius fix for the leaks... A hole drilled in the wall to allow it to drain out. We looked around for a few minutes, then decided that was enough of that.
Overall, probably a cool place a few decades ago, now it's one of those awkward and sad tourist traps that's just a shadow of it's former glory, being propped up like the corpse from ''weekend at Bernie's', I say, put it out of its misery.
Isaac Graff — Google review
It was nice trip up there and easy parking. Tickets were good price and the view was Great! I didn't get to try the restaurant hopefully next time. I would also thank the wonderful staff for being informed and able to answer are questions about the Tower. I would recommend it as a day trip.
Joe Fumasi — Google review
The tower has some beautiful views, however, very hard to find entrance and to gain access to elevator (no clear signs) also when we were at the top there was a few hornets inside of windows.
Kevin Peck — Google review
In doing some research on old Florida. I came across this landmark. Not much is written about it anymore, as a place to see and do. Yet at one time, this was an attraction that drew many visitors. Prior to the turnpike being built. Highway 27 was one of the North-South busiest thoroughfares.
So, the citrus tower was in the right spot at the right time. Those days have passed, and it now hardly is even given a mention. 😔
I did find it interesting enough to seek it out and give it a try. A small Cafe is in the lobby where you purchase an all day ticket. A short elevator ride to the observation deck and an incredible view in all directions is given to you. I would suggest bringing binoculars. I wish I had. You can stay as long as you like. Even return at nightfall to get a view of the Disney fireworks show. 🎆 It's not an all day affair yet if you're in the area and enjoy Florida history. It's worth the stop.
Erik — Google review
I felt the price was pretty expensive for what was only a 5-10 minute visit up at the observation deck. The ticket is valid all day but it's not somewhere that I personally would spend hours on end. But, I also didn't come prepared with binoculars or a professional camera. I also ate before arriving, even though there's a cafe at the bottom and bar tables in the observation area to eat enjoying that view. I *can* see the beauty of experiencing this during a sunset picnic-like dinner with a loved one or alone for some quiet reflection...
Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards is a vast estate that offers guided tours of their facilities and wine tastings, as well as hosting regular music and food festivals. Although California dominates the wine industry in America, Florida is also home to an exceptional winery that produces its own label. Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards boasts reasonable prices for both individual bottles and cases of wine. The staff are accommodating, especially for those with strollers, since there is a second-floor tour available.
The video and the tour were exceptional. Was quite a surprise to be able to go through that before for the taste test. We sampled seven exquisite wines. Of course I loved the dry reds. The Cabernet was really good and so was the special reserve Cabernet. We ended up picking out a couple of bottles and some cheese to take back to the room with us. Place was wonderful, the staff were helpful and kind, and the wines are a real delight. Stop in, even if it means going out of your way. You will be glad you did. Be sure to check out my photos on google maps as well.

This was such a lovely place. Very kid friendly too. Definitely bringing chairs and a few games (balls, bubbles, etc.) for the kids is a plus. Felt like being in a backyard with extended family around you. All the wines were delicious but I need to take this opportunity to give a shout out to Olga which greeted us at the door and made us feel very welcomed after mentioning it was our first time. She kept the same energy with every guest that came in. This place is VERY lucky to have such a great person with such amazing energy as the face of the winery. Will absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will be back with no doubt.

I really liked the free tasting/"tour" through the winery but I didn't really like any of the wine. I know it's a personal preference thing but the "wines" grown in Florida are way too sweet for me. And the wines they cultivate from California just don't hold up to California bottles around the same price. At all. I do think the FL wines are fairly priced though and I think the extra/reserve tastings were a very good price, as were the cheese trays (though I wish they were curated and not just out of a boar's head box).
The store is the best part about the place though! So many unique gifts and food/wine stuff that I've never even seen! The concert venue outside was nice as well, though it's weird that if you buy a bottle in the winery you can't enjoy it on their lawn.

Lakeridge Winery is just a great time! Awesome people enjoying a nice landscape and some delicious wines. Learned a lot of the craftsmanship in making these wines. You learn a sense of how massive the operation must be to keep up with the quantity of grapes. The tour was well done and made the group laugh a good deal! Definitely worth a try if you're nearby. Love the southern red and white wines personally.

Free tasting and tour! What more can you ask for? The tour experience itself was really fun. Our "tour guide" was very funny and energetic.
Personally, the sweet wines made from the muscadine grapes tasted better than the dry ones. I saw many people taste testing pouring out the dry flights. They should just focus on the sweet ones where they grow the grades themselves instead.

Visited this winery on my birthday and I have to say it was a 10/10 experience. They have offer a great tour which by the way is FREE , great staff that’s knowledgeable about the winery and any questions you may have. It’s such a beautiful property and must experience. Although I’m a sweet red wine person trying all the other wines they offer was also a great experience yes at the end they offer FREE wine tastings definitely worth it. Definitely will be back in June.

Very busy, but we did go on a Saturday afternoon and it would be a wonderful way to spend your afternoon we chose just to check it out. The free wine tasting is neat, a no hassle mini tour. They gift shop has an extensive array of goodies and of course the wine you can buy by the bottle or by the case what ever you want. Tha staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. I hope to come back again and enjoy the outdoor venue, music, and the delicious smelling food booths. Bring your lawn chair and have a relaxing time.

Lakeridge Winery has a great location in the hills of Central Florida. I’m not a fan of the Muscadine grape, so I felt the wines were quite biting and acidic. But if you like the Florida grape, try this out! The staff was informative and pleasant. They do allow dogs and have free wine tastings after the facility tour.

We absolutely loved it! The second we walked through the front doors we were treated like we were family! All the staff made us feel right at home! The staff was very knowledgeable and we learned so much from them while we were there. Everything was very clean and organized, the bathrooms were immaculate. The tour was free, and the wine was delicious! We can't wait to go back in the summer to see the vineyards in full bloom.

Amazing experience! We did the tour/tasting and our girls took us on a tasting journey. So much fun and so full of friendly energy. If I lived closer I would spend way too much time in the loft, hanging out and overlooking the vinyard working on my laptop all day... such good vibes here. Love almost all of the staff and almost all of the wines! Try the mulled and be ready for flavor explosion!

My family and I really enjoyed this winery. It’s one of the best we have visited. The tour and tasting were complimentary which makes it even better. They do yours all day long so you can show up with out reservations. You will walk up stairs to a room to watch a video on the history of the winery. Then walk around and see where they make the wine at. If you want to see the vineyard in full bloom it’s best to go during the summer time. We can’t wait to return to check out their weekends at the winery! Very great place to visit with family from out of town that love wine!

Absolutely amazing visit !! Free parking and tour .Guided Tours and Tasting are offered 7 days a week starting at 10:00 am each day, with the last tour offered at 4:00 pm. Tours usually run every 30-40 minutes and begin with a 10 minute video presentation, which guides you through the entire wine making process and the history of Florida wine.

My husband and I enjoyed the complimentary tour and wine tasting here. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. If we hadn't had a flight in two days, we definitely would have bought some wine or other goodies! Definitely a nice place to stop if you're in the area.

Fun afternoon!! We went on a Monday so there was probably more going on during the weekends but we walked right in and jumped into a free tour!! Tour guide was super sweet and gave some great tips on wine. We got a few things at the shop and roamed around a little. Cute spot!

Perfect Location and Excellent Service for my Birthday Party Concert Fundraiser!
We hosted my birthday party concert fundraiser, Rock Stars for Lake Cares, in April 2022 at the Key West Resort on Lake Dora. The rooftop event space was perfect! Sam, Sydney, Alex and the maintenance team were responsive and helpful. Our guests loved the lake and sunset views from the rooftop. We were able to extend a blocked room rate to our guests, which was nice. The band had access to electrical outlets and all went well from a sound standpoint.
We had several guests stay at the resort and they were happy with the accommodations. They have a pool with a lake view and a restaurant, The Dog House, on the property, which is great. Our catering and event team said everything went smoothly, and the guests are still talking about this wonderful venue and how much fun they had at the event!

Sydney the front desk associate was amazing! She accommodated our needs and went above and beyond her responsibilities. My AC wasn’t working when we arrived, she immediately had maintenance take care of the issue, though it never worked, she switched my room and put me into a better location with a better view of the lake. Sydney also gave us great recommendations on food and must do while in town locations. The town is amazing and the people are great! This location is conveniently located near great food and drinks! Will visit again! Omg the rooftop view is to die for.

Fantastic location! The staff was amazing. The rooms are roomy and very clean! We enjoyed our balcony view from the 3rd floor of the main building. We had no issues with noise, and the breakfast was more than adequate for a continental breakfast. We will definitely return!

I've stayed at the Key West Resort many times. I love the location on the lake. It's convenient to both coasts ( 1 1/2 hour drive). Both Sydney and Dani at the desk are great. Both ladies are very helpful to resolve any issues, as well as very welcoming when I check in. And ( as with ANY place I've stayed), there are small issues. But nothing so drastic that I would not come back.

The staff here is amazing! Anna, Sydney and Sam were so accommodating! Not only did they go out of their way for us we watched them deal with some of the rudest people and they dealt with it flawlessly. You can't please everyone but these girls sure did try. One morning I was sitting in the breakfast area which by the way is quick and easy. They also have alot of different options. Well as we ate breakfast Miss Anna was running around making sure everyone had what they needed and was super sweet. We had a great stay and will definitely come bk because of the staff! They made our stay so much better.

Nice location overlooking the lake. 'Resort' is very dated. Could be an awesome spot with a little effort. Breakfast room had folded plastic tables with plastic table cloths making it feel more like a kids camp than a resort. Room was basic but clean. Staff pleasant.

This is a cute and unexpected resort on the shores of Lake Dora in Tavares, FL - they are the seaplane capital of the world. Lots of bars and restaurants. Great little coffee shop. The rooms are above retail space in three separate buildings. Our balcony overlooked the lake and we watched seaplanes take flight. Room was older but HUGE and very quaint. It was very quiet at night. We had a minor issue with the TV but a maintenance guy came and took care of it immediately. Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Easy check in/out. Free breakfast was just okay. Pretty typical of hotels. Our only concern was to get to the elevator in our building we had to enter through a rather sketchy back door off the parking lot. It was just a screen door but the elevator required a key card so it felt safe. We will be back.

Everyone should stay there at least once. It is the luxury for the those that like it toned down a bit. Spacious rooms. Friendly and accomodations staff. You can actually meet the owner...He will actually help you with your luggage. I love the hands on approach..

What a fun hotel! Spread out in 3 buildings on Lake Dora. Every room has a great view. Large clean rooms. Walk in closet to stash your stuff. Restaurant very good! Staff attentive.
First floors are commercial (great coffee shop) and entrance to rooms is in the back of the building. Watch your step! You don't want to encounter the concrete parking barriers!
Breakfast is adequate...go to the coffee shop!

Beautiful view and spacious clean accommodations . The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a joke with prepackaged foods. And slim pickings at that. The front desk are a salty bunch and sloppy in appearance. Definitely doesn't want to be at work like behavior. The surrounding restaurants where great. So much potential with this place.

If you are there to party and not care where you crash then its perfect. I paid more for a lake view which was a lie. I was in a building furthest from the lake. The room was dirty. I had to wear shoes until getting into bed or my feet would be black. No one sweeps or mops. Just take a look up at the exhaust fan in the bathroom covered in dust and know they do not clean. The bed sounded like the frame was going to break any minute. The elevator was disgusting and dirty. It was very noisy and crowded. We had no place to park by our building because it was taken over by the people attending the bars. I would NEVER stay there again.

Not super happy with this place.
Absolutely the rooms were clean, decent sized and all amenities worked well (shower etc) but the decor is old and there was a continuous dampness that I could not put my finger on. Kind of like a humidity in the room. For example my shoes would feel very slightly damp putting them back on.
There was a cheapness to everything that seemed to be trying to sell itself as an upgrade.
For example breakfast was included but it was all cheap pre wrapped, pre packaged, pre processed foods of debatable nutrition. See the pic of breakfast items.
I drove to a diner the second day so I could have eggs and better coffee. The tables and chairs were the portable plastic type.
The staff asked me for a credit card for incidentals and I thought they meant for a mini bar and snacks but it was for damage that you or your pet do to the room.
I didn’t stay in the main building so I can’t say what the quality is like in those rooms but I feel it is completely misleading to have the word ‘Resort’ in the name.
Maybe the main building is nicer?
Had a few bugs in the room & could hear music from the bar downstairs but it was not bad enough to stop me sleeping on the 3rd floor.
I would not stay here again given this experience. I paid about $260 for 2 nights.

Overall quite nice place. Huge, clean and modern room. However after band quit at 9pm DJ in lounge in same building was initially so loud the bass was rattling our balcony windows. Front desk did what she could to help, though not effective. We finally ourselves talked to the DJ and he turned down some more. Still was thumping away past 11pm and going through my earplugs. Unfortunately because of this, will not be staying here again and do not recommend.

Tournament weekend and this place is amazing
If you get building 3 with the balcony looking the lake is an amazing wake up.
Even better if Danni help you.
I forgot my necklace and bracelet and Mireya was so amazing that returned to me.
Amazing people great restaurants a walking distance.

The place is very nice. However, the bar attached to the hotel has a large outdoor patio with a stage.
They played music at night outside and it was so loud it vibrated our room which was across the street.
We could not enjoy our balcony or the pool, let alone relax or sleep in the room.
Watching TV was barely possible as the loud bass meant we had to turn up the volume.
The music went on past 10:00pm at night.
Will not stay here again.

Location was great, service was pretty decent, and rooms were showing their age. Appreciated the location being at the heart of this downtown little community. So cute and fun to visit the restraunts and watch the seaplanes.
Service was good but it took me nearly 30mins to check in. It was about midnight and they were having issues with their credcard machine. The lady checking me in tried 3 times to reboot their system and though was very apologetic, it took a long time to check in. In the end she was not able to get the computer working and had to take take a photo of my card and said she would work on it in the morning.
The rooms were a good size and had decent accommodations but they were definitely a bit worn. The toilet papper holder in the bathroom was about to fall off the wall, some of the caulking ar I u d the shower was very dirty, and there were several scuff marks on multiple walls. I'm not a fan of writting poor reviews, but my hope is the hotel owner may see this and spend a little money to make some small improvements that would certainly help the place appear much nicer. It doesn't need a ton of work, just some minor improvements would be a huge help!

I was at the Doghouse next door watching Randall Crawford featuring Christina Sardone. Did not stay at the Key West resort but from those I know who did, really enjoyed their stay. Where I was on the other hand was a great time, live music, great pours, fun atmosphere.

What a dump. I have no idea what classifies this as a resort. Location is waterfront and the front desk ladies were friendly. The buildings are run-down. Big drywall patches on the walls in the room, dead bugs in the sink, TV didn't work, breakfast was a joke.
Juniper Springs Recreation Area is a renowned National Forest recreation spot in the eastern United States, boasting a natural spring with crystal clear water and a mill house complete with a functioning water wheel. The swimming hole is surrounded by lush foliage, providing ample shade for visitors seeking a tropical experience. Additionally, tubes and floats are permitted in the deep pool.
We traveled from out of state for 9 weeks in Florida and this was by far the prettiest camp site. Lots of shade. Loved the bear box. Bath house was clean. Staff friendly and explained all the rules. The springs were pretty and staff was on hand to be sure all were following rules. Would recommend!

Had a great stay at Juniper Springs. Site 13 is a great site. Cheryl at the front gate is exceptional at her job. The bathrooms were immaculate. Hot water for showers was great. Now for the areas that literally need improvement/ reopening. You will find many areas of the park "under construction/ renovation" and apparently have been for quite some time. Concessions, water mill, some boardwalks, the kayak launch, etc. That being said the spring, pavilions and general area were very nice. The staff can seem over the top with rules, but with the litigious society we live in where lawsuits abound, it is the new norm. If you pull a trailer that you can sleep in, it will be counted as a vehicle, you will be charged for an additional if you have more than 2 vehicles.

Haven't been to this park in many years and after my recent visit I've no desire to go back. Hoping to have a nice nature walk and get a few photos and maybe have a swim in the spring all ended in disaster. First stop, the swimming area, overrun with people, murky dirty looking water, definitely not as I remembered on previous visits. We decided to head on into the woods for a walk, first stopping by the restrooms. I changed mind quickly after seeing the condition of the restroom. My first impression was it looked as if cattle had been housed there. We decided to make the best of a bad situation therefore continued on to our nature walk, only to be disappointed once again. We tried two different walking trails only to find each blocked off with caution tape. Determined not to give up we took one more detour. This time we met a couple walking toward us warning us to watch out for the trail ahead saying there was sewage running across the trail. Once again we had to turn back.We felt we had explored all options and decided to leave. As we drove away we realized we had just paid $22 to experience how neglected one of Florida 's, once beautiful, parks had become.

I would NOT recommend the 7 mile kayak trip to anyone. If the state park manicured the waterway it could easily become a hot spot for kayaking. However, the amount of down trees and brush crowding the waterway take away from the potential beauty of it and make it very difficult to navigate its path. If you go and do tandem you will struggle even more with this trip and likely capsize.

It was fine. We went to hike there but we were less than impressed. It showed to have trails on the other side of the highway but the people at the entrance knew nothing. Great place to bring a family to swim camp and canoe. We had hiked at Black Bear Wilderness Loop the other day so we didn't want to huff it out to the mystery pond.
John and Jody Vossen — Google review
I went here more than year ago. It was a fabulous hidden gem.
However, I visited again just a day back. The old boardwalk that goes along the creek was closed. The new board walk is terrible.
There is tree in middle of board walk that is just 4 feet and my son hit head hard while walking on the board walk. There was no sign of low clearance or any other warning, Also, there wet slipper mud on the board walk right behind the water wheel mill. Again, my family member slipped walking on the board walk due to the slippery wet mud. It was a picture perfect sunny day with 80F temperature on that day.
These things are visitor safety hazardous conditions. I believe this is maintained by some company who has no one looking at these. There is no one even to complain about the same.
Think twice before visiting about walking safety on the board walk. You don't want to hurt yourself.

So disappointed that we couldn't rent canoes or kayaks. We called several days prior and were informed of the 7 mile canoe run, but were not informed of having to bring our own. The female bathroom in Tropical was completely out of toilet paper Sunday morning. Our site was nice, we did enjoy that.

Had a very nice day at the spring. Bathrooms/changing rooms were nice and clean. We're kinda disappointed that the gift shop and the water wheel house were closed, as was the wooden plank trail... but we still had a great time. It's asking how the hotel, etc was.. this isn't a place to stay. They have lots of concrete picnic tables, a nice shaded pavilion, and grills to make a whole day of it and cook or bring food.

Really nicely manicured springs. It doesn’t look as wild or natural as the other springs as it’s been molded into a swimming pool essentially. The old water mill is cool, and the trails are cool. The trails were closed when I went recently which was disappointing but they need to do maintenance

Super. We rented kayak to go down the river. We were all adults but still had to watch the video, ect safety things which was OK. But since we were the last group to go down, they followed us and rushed us out an hour early. Therefore our leisurely trip was some what altered.

Use to be a beautiful place. Needs many repairs. No kayak launch, no general store, boardwalk is closed for 2 years and if we the people still have a fee to pay then the government and Florida forestry needs to get busy before it's worth nothing!

Really nice spring that you can swim in. Water is a crisp 72°f, super clear. Make sure you know how to swim and bring your goggles. We did pay $12 per person to get in. All the trails are closed due to being pretty destroyed. Not sure from a storm or just time. Lots of camping areas available for tenting. Sites have no electricity, but are well maintained and high tree canopy. All garbage cans are bear proof so I am sure they are around. We didn't see any. We spent the afternoon there and it was great. May come back in the summer and when the trails are reopened. Could totally see this place being super busy on those long summer days.

Was charged $36 for 3 people to enter which was a shock - I went here a few years ago and had a very different experience. The millhouse exhibit was closed along with the majority of the trails which they made no effort to publicize and I feel like I was ripped off. Compared to state parks where a vehicle may get charged around $6 for entry it is absolutely ridiculous. Being privately owned this place seems to care a lot more about money than preserving the nature and history. It may be a good experience for camping but if you came to enjoy the springs and nature for a couple hours I’d go elsewhere.

Really nice camp sites, I would recommend booking those sites on the outside of the loop for travel trailers. Backing into the inner sites is a bit tight. Since there aren't any hookups, you can expect generator noise from some sites. This was our first visit, and the campsite wasn't cleaned between uses like other locations. Other than that, this is a wonderful place to relax!
Robert Powers — Google review
The campsites were nice. The springs are beautiful the bathroom and shower facilities were disgusting. No toilet paper or hand soap in the womens bathroom for two days. Dirty floors and strong smell of urine in the men’s bathroom. Felt dirty right out of shower. Have experienced cleaner, bathrooms, in dive bars. No supervision of site noise had loud music and banging on cowbells till 1:30am in the morning. Poor management is a shame for such a beautiful beautiful area.

It was a great experience. Extremely friendly staff and great fellow campers. We will definitely be back. They sell firewood $10 a bag. They have a dishwashing station and bear lockers. Tent site 65 was a great location. It was a small shady area close to the bathroom. Springs were beautiful. They aren’t renting kayaks but you can bring your own. Just wish our pup was allowed into the springs recreational area.

We loved camping in the fern loop with walking trails between the campground and swimming area. Very clean and well-lit bathrooms and dishwashing room. HOT showers are almost too hot for a summers day, but nice after swimming. The only downside is that there doesn't seem to be a night patrol, so we had to deal with rowdy camp neighbors ourselves.

This used to be a fantastic place. I grew up going to Juniper Springs and it was always great. The trails were fun to explore and being able to jump off of the wall into the springs was the highlight of this park. The last couple of times I've gone, the trails have been closed and now the jumping wall has been closed off and you can no longer jump into the water. There is no life in the spring and the prices have continued to go up with no improvements whatsoever. Very disappointing to know that my children can't experience the joys that I did at their age when it comes to Juniper Springs.

Beautiful area for camping! The particular spot that we booked was perfect with being back in a corner, large and no RVs allowed (in that section). Ranger station has bags of ice and firewood for sale as well as each site it equipped with a bear locker, fire pit, and grill. Plenty of tree coverage for shade during the day. It’s Florida and the summer time so of course there were bugs but they were not as bad as I thought they’d be. Under prepared for the ground to become soggy from the afternoon thunderstorms however we made it work. Bathrooms and showers are available. There are trails however the main/long trail is closed. During the day the spring does get very crowded which was another plus to our site being way back in a corner away from it all. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful. Water is just perfect to me. I am used to chilly waters though, growing up in Maine.😉 Went on Labor Day weekend, Sunday to be exact. We like a little peace and quiet, and it was perfect around opening (8 ish in the morning). Even for a holiday weekend. Park is nice, well kept. There are lots of picnic tables for a nice lunch after a swim. They have plenty of showers, too, if you prefer to rinse off before heading home.

We camped out in a pull behind camper and had an absolute blast. The weather was nice so we didn't need electric hook-ups. The camping spots we saw, including ours, are very shaded so the sun isn't a problem even on hot days. The spring area was wonderful, lots of room for blankets and towels and ample swimming area. The staff was informative and very nice. Would absolutely recommend going here and we will be back.

An amazing spring and more kid friendly than Silver Glen Springs, I think. There are built up sides and walls all the way around the pool allowing parents to keep a better eye on their kids at all times. You can swim on the edges with thousands of tiny minnows or you can swim over some seaweed where it gets a bit deeper on the middle. Loved this spring because it is accessible all the way around the has lots to see underwater. We even saw an otter 20 feet from us underwater by the mill wheel!

This was a nice campground to stay at. Bathrooms were clean. Sites not horribly close. The big spring area was awesome. Downfalls- not very dog friendly besides the campground. Another downfall was the trails were almost all closed. I would stay here again but for no more than a few days.

I have been to the springs before the park was destroyed by hurricanes. I also have been kayaking down the run once before the hurricane s and twice after the hurricane’s damage. Today we went to the park for hiking, big mistake! All the beautiful boardwalks are destroyed and left to rot. The natural boils are gone along with the beautiful clear blue water. It appears no one has done anything to repair or replace what was lost!😞 I can truly say i will never return.

First time visiting was great. They have carts to help get your kayak to the launch and a shuttle (for a fee) that will bring you back after the 7 mile journey. The staff including the manager were friendly, knowledgeable, and even patient. The paddle is not for the weak or timid but well worth it if you love florida and its unique abundance of flaura and fauna.
First time here. So far, so good. People say it's a good place to go. I'm looking forward to spending the day here with the various vendors and talking with shoppers. Looks like there's something for everyone.

We got there a few minutes after they opened, and parking was still available. Had a great time, and even though the temperature was at 100° the inside covered buildings were not too bad. The vendors were great and most of the prices were very good. We made it through 1/4 of the outside and all of the covered buildings. The thing I would say is to add more bathrooms and ATM's. The food was good and fair price. We will be back again, now that we know there is good flea markets in Webster.

Amazing flea market. They have something for everyone. One whole section of the place is dedicated to wholesale. If you have a resale business you can get some great deals on items with plenty of room to make money still. If you are looking for that one of a kind piece there are vendors with antiques, artwork, coins, jewelry, weapons, antiques and more. This will be an all day adventure as I bet it takes up 150plus acres spread across multiple fields, buildings and on two sides of the highway.

This really is a can't miss event if you'[re into flea markets. Hails from the days of Florida's Blue Laws that prohibit sales on Sundays, thus keeping the tradition of being held on Mondays only. It's much bigger when Monday is a holiday, so I'd recommend it specifically for that.
I've been going for years on Martin Luther King Day. You're pretty much guaranteed fine weather - little chance of rain and sunny weather that doesn't get too hold or too cold. Good thing, since most all of it is outdoors.
There's rows and rows of vendors selling antiques, collectibles, junk, trash, treasure, decent eats, arts, crafts, you name it, the genre is there. About 1/2 of it is open air, the others are in old shelters color coded to help you find your way around.
Parking is $5, entrance is free. There used to be free parking but that seemed to have gone away. Free parking when you arrived on your motorcycle though :-) Yes, I used to visit it that way to purposely restrain what I'd buy!

The oldest of three squares and it seems like the powers to be don't really have a plan to rehab it. They started to do things them stopped with Katie Belles and the movie theater. Best part of the square is the 3td Saturday car show.
I photograph Uncle Bob's Rock Shop and this is the worst of the three squares to shoot the band in. The Gazebo stage is a poor design way too small, too high and really poor sight angles even if your just watching a band. I've pretty much stopped shooting their shows here. They did some work on the actual square awhile back and they should have revamped/enlarged the stage.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the animals we saw and encountered. We also met the tiger cub. This little guy is awesome!! Worth every penny to meet him. Seeing all these animals up close and personal gives a greater understanding why they shouldnt be pets. I highly recomend that anyone and everyone visit Dade City Wild Things and have an animal encounter of some kind. You will not be disappointed!!!! Thanks again Wild Things you were awesome!!!!!!!!!

Dade City's Wild is a very nice place and the animals are very well cared for and loved. You will have a great experience and leave with wonderful memories. The place is clean and they are regulated by state and federal agencies .They are being targeted by animal activists who pay for negative comments on line. I have visited quite a few times and always have a great time. The swims are awesome and the photos are really nice. Great place for a reasonable price.
I returned to Dade City's Wild Things one week ago. It was clean and the animals looked well cared for. I was fortunate to do an encounter with the lemur. It was very cute and friendly. I have to say I was impressed by the girl doing the encounters. She definitely has a bond with the animals and was very professional. I found the staff to be very friendly. I kind of liked the previous gift shop but it's nice to go right in now instead of waiting for the trolley. I will definitely return. I like the changes made to the tour.

I think I was more surprised at the fact that this is run out of a family's house with a lot of land versus more of a zoo type of feeling. But despite that I have to say I was surprised at the selection of animals that were available as well as the ability to feed zebra, and bison. The ability to be able to choose and holds various animals also was very appealing to this as my daughter has been clamouring to pull the monkey forever and she finally did. As far as the pricing goes you have to purchase the Safari pack to be able to then purchase the ability to hold, or pet in the in various animals. The Safari itself was $19, and then depending on the animal you wish to hold or pet is depending on the price. We pay to hold a monkey which was $19 per person. Overall The Experience wasn't bad. Probably the two worst things that I noticed with this particular Safari is that there is a lot of unnecessary 'artwork' and I say that because there was just various trucks and Furniture just strewn about the entire property, which I would assume is art. That sort of thing made the place like a little trashy. And the other thing that really bothers me is that there was a lot of animals in , what I would consider, small cages. They say these animals are not welcome at the zoo would have been rejects, so if that's the case then I can sort of reason with myself saying that this is the last chance for these animals. But to see a full-size lion in the size of a cage of my garage, twenty-four hours a day 365 days a year is a little bothersome. But regardless the staff were nice the animals look like they were fed well, they always had water that I was able to see, and the staff knew what they were talking about. The other issue is is that you're not allowed to take pictures anywhere on the property and that you have to pay $25 for them to take pictures and then they uploaded to website you download. To me that's a little fishy as why can I not just take my own pictures especially of the animals, because they do have a couple unique animals that you won't see anywhere else.

We went to Dade City's Wild Things on Valentines Day 2016 and had a great time. We took a tram ride around the zoo viewing the animals along the way, held a baby kangaroo, fed a lion, and had a private encounter with a 4 month old tiger (I think the private encounter costs a bit extra but it was worth it to have some time away from the rest of the tour group).
All of the staff members that we interacted with were friendly, intelligent, and seemed to really care about the animals. They asked us questions about the various interactions that we had and shared information about the specific animals that we saw (personalities, age, funny stories etc..).
Overall I highly recommend checking this out if you are able to.
My comments about the comments below:
Tigers do love to be in water and spend a great deal of their time in rivers and lakes in the wild. It seems as though a few of the reviewers were applying their knowledge of the domestic house cat to tigers which must be where the misunderstanding stemmed from.
While we were there new exhibits were being built, so it does seem like the owners are investing money back in to the business. Additionally I can't imagine what the food bill must be like for all of the animals and I can definitely say they all looked well fed. I thought the experience was well worth the price and would have paid much more had the prices been higher.
During the animal interactions that we had the animals did not in anyway perform for us. It was an opportunity for us to be up close to an animal that we would otherwise never be able to safely do. That was it, no dancing, no rolling over for treats, no monkeys riding dogs, etc..

My daughter and her bf (both early 20's) went here to have an up close experience with an otter. It is mandatory that you take the $20 tour before you could do the experience. They charge you extra for that, yet anyone else who wanted to do that all went at once. So nothing special. The animals are in cages that didn't provide sufficient exercise area. Not enough enrichment for the animals. You must sign a waiver stating that you are not with PETA or other similar groups...and with good reason. You are not allowed to take photos of the animals. My daughter mistakenly booked the "swim with otters" experience but called them within a couple of hours to change it to the cheaper package. They said they would refund her the difference...it's been 3 weeks. She finally had to call her credit card company to dispute the charge. NOT someplace to go if you care about animals at all. For just $3 more, you can go to Zoo Miami! - My daughter contributed her first hand experience to this post.

Our family decided to go to Wild Things despite the bad reviews on Google. Obviously, the reviews were planned by a group of individuals that set out to hurt businesses that help endangered animals and jobs for the community.
Our family had a wonderful and educational tour of the facility. The animals are clean and well cared for and appear to be content. It was a Great experience for our 4 year old twins and 6 year old daughter who generally fear household animals let alone wild. They were not frightened at all! They commented that they had the best time ever! The only negative would be that I wish we could have taken photographs of the animals. However, the staff was very accommodating to take a group photo of us. The staff were very pleasant and appeared to enjoy their jobs which says a lot about the ownership of the facility.

We absolutely loved this hidden treasure!! We paid for the 4 animal encounter and the jeep/ train was included. I highly recommend getting the animal encounter. The tour guy was great and the animal handlers were amazing!!! They were funny, knowledgeable and very personable. They truly cared about us and our experience. Definitely going again!!

The staff were very courteous. I did not expect to be shuttled from where we paid to the zoo itself, but I don't remember if it was advertised that way or not. The tram driver once we got in was new so she read from her note book. I found the enclosures were small for they type of animal it housed, but the said the animals are walked daily with two leash handlers and they are leash trained. There was absolutely no evidence of abuse. The animals look well fed.
Located in rural Dade City, Giraffe Ranch is a picturesque drive-through attraction with close encounters with giraffes, camels and rhinos. The ranch also offers exclusive tours that can only be booked by reservation, as well as ample opportunities for wildlife viewing from the comfort of your car.
Here are just a few shots of all the amazing animals you will see and learn about at the Giraffe Ranch. Lex and Elena are so great and Lex was who took us on our tour. His genuine love for his ranch and all his animals shows loud and clear. He is a wealth of information so take notes! Very worldly man to say the least. We learned so much and asked many questions that Lex was happy to answer. It was so fun and so educational. Worth every cent and then some. I will go again and take the camel tour next! We did this for my moms 81st bday and learned that he had a lady over 100 do the camel back tour!! My mom says she will do it for her 85th lol!! I've lived her my whole life and just learned about this place on my favorite morning radio show. I'm sorry I did not know earlier. I'd of love to have taken my father who had a huge love for the animals. Needless to say im grateful I got to experience this with mom. I rate this life experience like the best of diamonds. Colorless triple excellent!!! ❤😘

My first visit at the Giraffe Ranch this weekend. Ranch has a lot of animals! Guided Tour included with general admission was great. My reason for 1 star is in regards to the $300 private giraffe experience, falsely advertised on website!! Website states you “join professional giraffe keepers in their daily giraffe care activities. Customized experience lasts a minimum of 30 minutes.” My “experience” was a 20 minute private giraffe feeding. No tour of the giraffe barns, no daily giraffe care activities demonstrated, and I was only given 20 minutes in the enclosure on the safari bus. The tour guides brought me just enough into the enclosure to feed the giraffes and closed the gate right behind the safari bus. General admission is not included in the price of the experience, so my entry with the experience was $420 for a total of two hours on the ranch. Not to mention I missed the beginning of the general admission tour because I was feeding the giraffes. Don’t recommend adding this experience to your general admission, they take you to feed the giraffes during the guided tour anyways. $300 is absolutely outrageous, totally not justified for the experience I received. I didn’t even get the 30 minutes promised in the experience listing. Disappointed!! Would’ve loved to actually see the daily giraffe care activities.

What a WONDERFUL Florida gem. The safary tours are amazing. You get to watch the animals live in a natural environment. This place does not have a zoo type vibe. The husband and wife couple keep you entertained by educating you on everything you see without having to exploit the animals. Definitely worth the money!

This was absolutely an amazing experience! They take pristine care of this facility and really care about these animals. It was a drive-thru tour with the guide over the radio. We have taken other tours like this and the quality of the tour and information from the guide (who has worked all over the world and is an adjunct professor) is 2nd to none. We also did the lemur feeding afterwards ($35) and it was SO COOL. They have other package options (Segway tour/camel tour/driven) and other feeding options to explore as well. There is another location in Lakeland that is 5x the size and we will go and review that soon too! VERY MUCH WORTH THE COST!!!

This was a great outing. The Safari wagon takes you up close and personal to giraffes and camels. Got some great photographs feeding the giraffes. Their pet camel is a big puppy dog who wants to be petted on the nose. Highly recommend the vehicle tour. $119 per person.

Absolutely hands down the best experience ever. Words can describe how amazing this place was and the owners where so nice . I had my grandmother with me who has mobility issues and they really helped with her and engaged with her and made for a very special day .

We were skeptical because we had seen some negative reviews on this place. It's a beautiful drive to get there. Gate was locked up when we arrived which is understandable, but there was no instruction or guidance as to what to do if you already had a reservation. You do need a reservation to do this. We sat at the gate for about 15 minutes. Employee came out and let us in, greeted us and assisted in finding the radio station to listen to the guided tour. We did the guided tour from the comfort of our rental car. Property is a fairly decent size. Plenty of animals to see, even up close. Got to see plenty of animals roaming around. All animals looked like they were well taken care of. Guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We also participated in the lemur feeding. We had plenty of time to feed and interact with them. Was overall a great experience!

The tour was an awesome little adventure for our local family and visiting out of towners. Reservation was easy to do online. When I needed to add one more person, I just called and was taken care of promptly-easy peasy.
The tour was engaging and informative. My teen nephews had lots of questions that Elena answered and her enthusiasm about the various animals, their care and history, and related topics was appreciated and made an awesome impression on the boys! Elena was also very considerate to ensure my brother who has mobility challenges, and my 80 y/o aunt were able to see and participate and that they were comfortable. Definitely recommend this and I’ll be bringing more visitors through!

“Expectation versus reality” is the best way to sum up our day at giraffe ranch. My boyfriend and I took our two 7 year old daughters to visit. Our reservation was at 4pm and cost me $340. We entered and the tour started immediately almost without warning. Driving so far to come we needed a restroom. Drove around the property following a gentleman on a Segway whom was explaining the property and animals we encountered. I felt his humor and over all approach was just not as professional or child friendly as I would have hoped for. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. The grounds were well kept as were the animals. We got no where near any animals on the tour and a lot felt lack luster and was over sold online in the gallery and descriptions. Once our tour ended he immediately led two vehicles out of the property because they had not bought other experiences. I do hope no one needed the restroom!! I purchased the lemurs in addition and had to request a restroom first. On my way I Found out they had a gift shop and many other animal enclosures we had not seen! We were being rushed the entire visit it felt like. The lemur activity was enjoyable and I’d say worth the extra fee. The children enjoyed that part and the animals were very clean and gentle. Upon the end we were taken to the gate to exit immediately. Perhaps at an earlier reservation we may have had a more impressionable enjoyable experience. Overall we had moments of enjoyment and learned a lot about animal mating! Personally feel it did not entirely meet expectations for the cost.

Don’t be concerned like we were when they didn’t open the gates right up until your tour time. It does look a little sketchy driving in but it is very much worth it. We enjoyed the otter feeding though it was quick, it was worth it because they were our favorite animals. You can tell the owners take pride in what they do and they have a wealth of knowledge on all the animals. The ride along safari was great because you were chauffeured around the land to be so many animals. We got close encounters and great pictures of all of them! It is pricey but worth the day trip out!

Giraffe-babies included!! They have a rhino, several big cats, lots of small primates, so many ostriches, and many more! They also offer add on experiences like hand-feeding ring-tailed lemur, a two toed sloth🦥, and two different types of otter!! 🦦🦦

Having served on the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1980 to 1984, I was excited to visit the Eisenhower center in The Villages. What a beautiful memorial to all the military branches and to those who served. I was slightly disappointed, though, that there was very little about the namesake aircraft carrier which I called home for 4.5 years.
There are all sorts of donated military memorabilia on display. The most heart wrenching were the letters to families informing them that their loved ones had been lost in action.
I was surprised to hear a big band orchestra playing in one on the large auditoriums. Bravo! Quite a collection of talented local resident musicians practicing their passion.

What an absolute delight it was to spend time here. What a beautiful place and the people were so nice! Thank you for an amazing day.
My besties hubby was being honored with a quilt made by some amazing women. They were honoring him for his service as a Vietnam Veteran.
Remember how hard it was when they came back and they were disrespected? They were only doing what they were told, by their boss, the Commander and Chief.
I can't imagine how much that must have hurt. How their hearts were broken.
From my heart to yours, THANK YOU to all of the Veterans and current members of our great nation. You will be honored and respected from now on.

We went for the first ride and were not disappointed. If you can get in at 10 am do it! You will see a lot of wildlife including alligators. The later you go the hotter it will be. Although if you can't get in early, later is better than never.

As a family of all ages we definitely had a great time. It was informative and educational but most of the time you could just enjoy all the wildlife. The tour guide is definitely want you to have a good time. At the end they bring out a baby alligator that you get to take a picture with which was definitely unique. I like the vibe here.
Some ppl may say it is a little bit creepy, but I would rather say this place is a hidden gem, not too much commercialized.
When I went there, there was not that many ppl so we felt safer from COVID. Also, captain knew a lot about the history and alligators.
But what I am pretty sure that what reader really wants to know is "are there a lot of alligators?".
When I went there, I saw like 6-8 alligators including the baby alligator too.
I will visit this place without hesitation next time.
Don't forget the tips to the captain! It is what he is working for!

This Airboat ride was quite fun and worth the every penny we spent there. Saw couple of gators and heard a gator roar for the first time ever. Saw wild vultures in 100s and many turtles and birds. The cherry on the cake moment was to hold a baby gator in hand which I couldn’t do coz it was super scary but I would come here again and hold it soon. My aunt did hold the gator which was as one of an experience in her lifetime. The captain was very informative and the ride was amazing in the month of Feb where it wasn’t too hot or too cold. I’m bringing my family here again for this ride for sure. Look at the view with clear sky.

I am no airboat expert, but I have done 3 prior with other companies - and this place was hands down the best. Captain Steve was funny, informative, patient (he made sure we all saw what he spotted) and had an eye for finding alligators. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and when we visit again, will make sure we ask for Captain Steve! Thank you again for a memorable trip.

We were headed to Disney and saw the sign for Airboat tours. I googled the name and loved the detailed website so I booked my family (5 yo, 3 yo, 7 month old) a trip for our ride home. A bucket list check off for my boy to ride an air boat! It was an amazing trip. Life jackets and ear protection were provided. We saw birds, fish, and all size alligators. Our captain was very informative and accommodating to our kids. Once we got back we were surprised with the opportunity to hold Wyatt the alligator. This too was very informative and accommodating to all of our gator obsessed kiddos!

This was my second adventure. Recommend it. Price includes cost to hold a healthy 40 pound gator for pictures.
Staff are all very pleasant and informative. Got to see a few smaller gators, lot of turtles and fish in the swamps.
Of course the fun is the speed and turns of the air boat ride through the marsh. It’s about an hour adventure. Worth it.

This is my 2nd time with Swamp Fever, brought family this time and it was just as spectacular as the 1st time! Got to see some gators and babies along with beautiful nature! We even got to hold a 30lb real live gator Josephine. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I will definately be back!

Loved this tour! All the staff was so friendly even the guy helping to dock the boat. They were well organized, stayed on time and the guide knew so much about the swamp, you could tell he loved the area. Some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen. We saw alligators , turtles, baby alligators, fish and so many incredible birds. The guide knew each animal and their habits. The office staff was also very friendly .

We went for my daughter and nephews birthday. We had a group of 12 people ranging in age from 70 to 7 including a non verbal special needs child. We had an AMAZING time! Captain Sam was brilliant and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. We really had such an amazing experience, everyone should do this! Everyone agreed it was better than going to Disney!

We had the best time today. Great tour and very clean boats and facility. Loved holding the sweet little girl gator as well. Staff is wonderful.
Thank you

Quick trip to visit family down here in Florida, and they suggested we go on an alligator tour... We went to the right place! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and yes, we saw alligators; big ones, medium and babies. Even if we hadn't seen all of the alligators we did, the scenery was worth it.. what a great tour! I wish I could add the video of the swamp… it was “wow!”💚

There are a lot of options for airboats in this area, but this was in my opinion the best. The captain was very knowledgeable and the team was super friendly. I was very impressed. My students had a great time. We saw a few alligators and got to hold one. I will be coming back.

My first time on an airboat and very happy we chose Swamp Fever for this adventure. Saw lots of gators of all sizes from babies to large mom and dad as well as a ton of birds and turtles. Our driver/guide did a great job of pointing out where to look. Finally, the lake itself and the offshoots from it with all the cypress trees is beautiful. One more thing, you get to hold a baby alligator at the end of your trip. Highly recommend

I would definitely do this again. It was so beautiful. Was hoping for more wildlife but it was a little chilly that day so animals were not very active but that's no one's fault. We enjoyed our trip very much. Getting to pet/take pictures with the little gators was awesome too. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! I have lived in Florida 25+ years and this was first time on an airboat ride. Jessica was super sweet and informative. She was great with my two young boys! Sam, our captain was incredible. He was so thorough, fun and hilarious! The grounds where it is located is soooo peaceful and beautiful. I will definitely be coming back!! And recommending them! Book it- you seriously wont regret it.

This was my first time in Florida or even on an airboat. I had a blast and great time. I also loved holding the younger alligator at the end and seeing younger and older alligators as well. I also saw birds, turtles, and fish. It was a beautiful day, and it was an experience that I won't ever forget. I would recommend this to anyone who loves wild and water.

Silver Springs State Park is a beautiful place to visit, with crystal clear water and interesting wildlife. There are trails and a museum, as well as rental cabins and canoes for those who want to explore the park on their own.
Beautiful and only $2 entry fee. Wish CA would provide it's residents such value.
Open and not crowded. Great to paddle around or take a hike. Clean restrooms and great staff. Didn't see a manatee but we were a little late.

Silver springs is absolutely beautiful. Went there for the first time for our 6 year anniversary. The glass bottom tour was amazing. It was so cool seeing all the different springs like that. The river is so crystal clear it's amazing. Definitely recommend to any first timers. It was very worth it and a truly unique experience. Definitely plan on going back when it's cooler to kayak!

What a fantastic place to just forget about your troubles. We rented kayaks for two hours and started at 9am. I recommend this time or earlier if you don't like crowds or are new to kayaking. We also did the boat tour, which was awesome, and our captain was very friendly. Don't forget to tip them. 😉 They are going through some renovations which are expected to be completed in the fall so no gift shops or Cafe. You will not be disappointed going here.

Our kayak trip was amazing! We did the 2 hour float. The water is crystal clear, and pictures do not do it justice. The staff was super friendly and well organized. We showed up a little early for our reservations, and they let us go a little early. The clear kayaks we reserved were out for repairs unfortunately. They refunded us the difference and apologized for them not being available. We still had a ton of fun! Would highly recommend this trip!

Definitely the glass bottom tour was worth it. We went during December Christmas break and there were plenty pf manatees . We could spot a number of them when they sneak peek above the water. As they were swimming and having their breakfast under water , the visibility was low around them so it was hard to spot them through glass bottom but our captain of the boat was so sweet that he tried to get us a glimpse of it under water and we did, a big one swam just under the glass bottom. It was a great sight. We did see a alligator basking in the florida sunshine ☀️ and number of beautiful fishes. It was so crystal clear and there were several springs which we toured above. It was overall a great experience. Definitely a must do on a clear sunny day. One can also take a glass kayak/canoe and spend their own sweet time in these waters.

The springs are beautiful. We’ve gone paddle boarding here many times, renting and bringing our own. The loop is easy and can be made in less than an hour, if you’re in a hurry. The long trip down the river is so fun and the gators, monkeys and all the fish and birds make the paddle so fun. This is definitely something worth doing a few times.

Did this trip last year with 2 others and had a blast. Decided to come again with 5 others. Had an absolutely wonderful experience both times.
There was a short wait to check in and pay and then put the kayaks in the water, but it wasn't too bad. The River Patrol was very helpful with information and directions.
Highly recommend anybody to come and experience this. If you don't have your own kayak, you can rent them.
Looking forward to next year!

Found this beauty while exploring the area on a business trip to Ocala. The most beautiful blueish green water. They have clearly defined trails and a beautiful boardwalk area that loops you through the forest. Didn’t get to take the boat tour but it looked awesome with the clear see through bottoms! Lots of parking, well maintained restrooms, and reasonably priced to enter! A must see if you are in the area!

Really nice outdoor activity to do with family! We were hoping to see a manatee but we didn't, unfortunately! Maybe next time. We brought our dogs, and they loved sniffing around. Lots of new wildlife to see and hear. Wish we had more time to kayak. Such beautiful water here! The boats looked fun, but we didn't go on a tour. The front lady was so nice and spoiled our dogs with loves and dog bones!

An extensive and beautiful natural park with a couple of shops/restaurants and one can also explore it by boat/kayak/canoe. The boardwalk encompassing a rich forest area has several shaded spots. For me the highlight was watching the wildlife in crystal clear water and seeing a pretty good sized gator from a safe but close distance. Parking is not a problem, lots of free spaces. Well worth returning to.

We live pretty close to Silver Springs and we try to go every morning for our walk. The staff are great every question you have they have an answer. The grounds are well maintained and very clean. If you come at the right time you will see the monkeys, once you spot the first one it's easy to find the others. You will also see all kinds of wildlife alligators, big fish etc... I could go on and on. We see something different every time we go and that's 4 or 5 times a week. It's a great place to come just to have coffee and enjoy the nature.

There is lots to see why paddling around on the water. You can do a short trip or spend a day there. They have third-party kayak rentals, or you pay the park fee and can launch your own.

It's about 2 hours north of us but we've been several times this year for paddling. The shuttle service is great and worth the price. So much gorgeous scenery and wildlife and it is a very relaxing ride down. Would recommend to everyone to go at least once.

Beautiful place to kayak if you have the chance. It can get pretty busy on the river, so it's best on a weekday first thing in the morning. Highly recommend! We came across a wide variety of wildlife during our time down the river. Manitees, alligators, turtles, monkeys, various birds, even jumping fish!
Piece of advice, if you kayak/canoe make sure you utilize a waterproof cell phone bag that FLOATS! Almost lost my phone for good if it weren't for someone with a net coming by just by chance.

Beautiful place a lot of trails a garden out of mates. We did the kayak we bring our kayak you can rent in the place you have a beautiful trail with the kayak. You can see all the kind of animal birds, monkeys mates and if you already pay for the campground, you don’t need to pay for the park And also if you don’t want to go today park you can just bring your own kayak and put in the water and start the trail. It’s very beautiful place quiet and it was not out of people. The water temperature is 72 but you cannot go inside the water in this place, very recommend! Enjoy your trip

We love Silver Springs. It is amazing to kayak. You see birds, manatees, alligators, turtle, fish, sunken ships and several springs not just Silver Springs. We have not been on the glass bottom boats but have overheard the boat captains and the seem quite knowledgeable. It is $5/kayak to launch your own kayak but parking is free. We have been here in December and saw several manatees and in April and saw the birds in their estuary, amazing both time frames though I think I'm my opinion the Spring was a little better because of all the birds. However, I don't think you can go wrong any time of year.

A beautiful nature gem in Silver Springs Florida.
As soon as you enter the park, you can start seeing the fauna and flora within the park. The parking is ample and free.
The entrance to the park is only $2 and kids under 6 are free. Senior discount is also available. You can have glass boat excursions for an additional $12.
The persons attending the booth are superb. They make you feel welcome.
The park has many walking trails for you to enjoy. The fauna and flora are all well kept and beautiful.
We took the glass boat excursions and saw a lot of enchantment that Silver Springs has to offer.
If you are lucky, you may see turtles and alligators during the trip. The captain was a blast. We were laughing from start to finish.
Highly recommended.

We have been to Silver Spring State Park twice so far. It's so enjoyable. We have done the glass tour which is a great experience and also you get a lot of information from the captain of the boat while on it.
The canoes / kayak are a must, you will get the opportunity to enjoy at first sight the marvelous ecosystem of this spring, the clear water, the music of the sound of the birds and if you are lucky enough you will see manatees, alligators and turtles. There are also trails and camp grounds.
The have some spots to buy food and also have clean restrooms.
We are very looking forward to come back soon.
Please respect the environment and keep the place clean.

Such a beautiful place to kayak at! We paid the entrance fee and launch fee and brought our own kayaks and paid 12$ for two people, we chose to paddle back and not get out at the Ray Wayside Park which was a little bit of a challenge but definitely do able! We seen fish, turtles, so many birds, a decent amount of alligators and some manatee! Would highly recommend for a nice relaxing float down the river while searching for wildlife!

We canoed the river and springs in our own boat. What a beautiful place with white sand on the bottom, the sink adding makes the water look aquamarine. We saw dozens of turtles, almost as many Anhinga and Cormorants, Ibis and Blue Herons. Also we spotted a couple of alligators and maybe a dozen Manatee in several small pods, plus a couple alone. Just wonderful. We did the small loop which only took about 70 minutes.

We love kayaking here at Silver Springs State Park! Not only is the water beautiful, but you can see Manatee, alligators, turtles, and some beautiful birds. After kayaking we enjoy a nice walk along the trails. My husband was excited to see an original suit from his favorite movie Creature From the Black Lagoon on display.

Staff was argumentative and cranky. Lots of crowds! Would not recommend if you have your own kayaks unless you are patient and can maneuver through all the renters and the glass bottom motor tours to find the nature and peace/quiet-beautiful once you do. (Also did not see any monkeys)

Very beautiful place to visit.. it's about 1.3 hours from Orlando but it's definitely worth it if you need some nature time! The water is beautiful.. you can rent kayaks or go on a boat tour.. it's very clean and well kept. There are several monkeys close to you when hiking around, definitely will be able to see them and get a good picture of them.. They do not like dogs so be mindful of that..

Kayak rentals where a bit pricey ~($45/$60) and line was long to get shuttle tickets but it is definitely worth it to kayak this river it was gorgeous and see-through the whole 5 mi downstream trip the shuttle cost 15 additional dollars to get back to your original parking spot. We saw tons of monkeys, river otters, alligators, birds and other wildlife. It was beautiful and shaded/had tree cover approximately half the trip so I did not get sunburn even though I forgot my sunscreen. Took about 3 hours to go down all the way down stream.

Beautiful but very crowded at the start, partly because the Fort King trail was closed. Really caused a snafu at the put-in. But otherwise lovely! Be warned, if you are an average paddler, definitely turn around at the big orange arrow! It's easy to go farther than you intend and end up paddling against the current on your way back. We were dog-tired when we finished!!

Our group took the 90 minute boat ride down the river & it was a great day. We had a lot of folks who had never been there before I& we were able to see all kinds of wildlife. We saw monkeys, gators, manatees, all kinds of birds and fish. We had a great boat captain

We visited on a Saturday in mid March and it was packed! Almost no parking when we arrived close to 1 pm. We hadn’t made a reservation for the kayaks but we were able to get one for 2 people without problem. We did a 5 mile trajectory on the river and took us about 2h. The shuttle took us back to the entrance. We saw manatees and monkeys!! Then we hiked for the blue trail and yellow trails. It took us about 1:15h but wasn’t very scenic. There’s not a lot of shade so keep it in mind. We would definitely go back! Beautiful.

We went here for a stop going back to Michigan. It was well worth it.
I believe it’s $2 to walk around d
$15 each for boat ride.
We went in March and we were told the Manitees were all gone.
We saw a mother and baby!
Several alligators.

Gypsy Gold Horse Farm is a must-visit destination when in Ocala. The farm houses beautiful horses, as well as goats, donkeys, and birds. The staff is informative about the breed and interact with the animals. Dennis, the owner, currently gives tours which provide historical context and evoke positive emotions. The cost per person is minimal for what visitors get to experience at the farm.
If you are planning a trip to Ocala, Gypsy Gold Horse Farm is a Must See! Dennis, the owner is turning 73 and winding down. He currently gives the tour and the story behind this place is historical, memorable and I can muster the words to say positively emotional. The animals are beautiful. You can see the staff interact with them and care for them. The cost per person is nothing for what you get for. Go Now while Dennis is still hosting the tour!

My husband and I visited Gypsy Gold Horse Farm last Saturday. This was, by far, the best visit of its type I have ever experienced. I knew about Gypsy Vanners thanks to a video some years ago and was enchanted by them. Dennis Thompson brings their history to the forefront and, additionally, presents a wonderful insight into the people who first developed the beginnings of this breed and who are, often, so misunderstood. Dennis presents history well and is incredibly personable and kind. When you leave, you feel you have a new friend.
Whether you are just looking for a new and unusual highlight to a vacation, or are interested in becoming more involved at some level, Gypsy Gold is the place to go.
We will be returning as often as we can. Dennis has some beautiful and wonderful plans for the future that are best described by him. Go. You will not regret it. You’ll get to meet, up close, some of the finest equine specimens on the planet. Take carrots!

Gypsy Gold Horse Farm is a beautiful property with a quite interesting history. The owner, Dennis, told everyone about the beginnings of the Gypsy Vanner breed including a great historical overview of the gypsy families that he spent time with to learn more about their culture. Dennis is an excellent speaker who kept us engaged with lively and humorous stories of his own personal life in the equine industry including the colorful cast of characters he's met along the way. Afterwords he took us on a guided tour of the farm to meet his menagerie of interesting and beautiful animals. The two hours we spent at Gypsy Gold Horse Farm was an enlightening and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We did the 45 minute tour and enjoyed it. Brief introduction from the owner, Dennis, about the history of the horses and the ranch was interesting. Sure, lectures are not for everyone but we wanted to know the history of the breed and the farm so we found it informative. The walking tour that followed did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful, lots of large oaks and green pastures. The horses are beautiful, friendly and came up to our group. We were are able to get up close to touch and rub them and take photos. The volunteer who gave the tour was excellent. They are very passionate and it shows. We would definitely visit again when beck in the area.

Far exceeded my expectations! I was captivated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the owners' genuine love for their Gypsy Vanner horses, as well as all of the other animals on the farm. Every corner of the farm resonates with the passion and dedication of the owners, making it a unique and memorable experience. You can feel the love and care that goes into every aspect of this haven for both horses and visitors. It is a truly special place where the owners' vibrant life and and connection with the horses shine through in every detail. I also love that they are now sharing this experience with the local schools, educating the children and teaching compassion. I highly recommend a visit to Gypsy Gold Farm :)

His passion for these stunning creatures, his knowledge, and story are a wonder to witness and hear. Please ignore the people saying the over hour talk wasn't worth it. It was worth every minute, and made me teary eyed many times! We feel blessed to have met Dennis and Erin. Dennis and Erin took us on the tour of the property, where we interacted with so many of the horses. Also, Dennis' vision for the future of the Gypsy Gold Farm is just beautiful. The Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing is a long-standing establishment that displays an extensive collection of vintage hot rods and drag racing cars. It is an awe-inspiring place, especially for car enthusiasts who appreciate high-quality exhibits. Although the focus is on drag racing, visitors can enjoy seeing classic cars and other interesting displays. The friendly staff are happy to chat and provide helpful information during the visit. Additionally, there are senior discounts available for those who qualify.
Wonderful place! Beautiful cars. It was set up nicely. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a very informative visit. It was all great. However the antique cars were my favorite! Prepare to spend some time there!

Five stars for everyone who like auto museums. Three stars for the people who don't. The museum consists of two very large buildings. The first building is dedicated to drag racing and the second is an auto museum. I consider "Big Daddy" Don Garrity as of of the founders of drag racing. The museum does an outstanding job of presenting the evolution of drag racing. One hour for a normal visit, but three hours is this is an area you really like. Outstanding signage on vehicles and engines.

My wife and I moved to an area near the museum in 2022. Once settled I took some time to visit and was overwhelmed by the sheer number of cars at this museum. Although I am a fan of drag racing I am also a huge fan of antiques and classics, so the antique museum became a quick favorite. I liked the museum so much I applied for a position and was hired, first as a volunteer,
then as a part-time employee. Being able to work at the museum and meet "Big Daddy" Don Garlits, along with some very interesting visitors, was an experience I will cherish forever. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit if you are in the area. You will not regret it!

I like how they have all the history and all the information about the different drivers and cars but all that stuff it is pretty cool and then go in there and live that experience. Then going to the other car museum the antique is pretty nice as well it was it was quite an experience I recommended 100%.

Overwhelming ! Too much to take it all in for one day even if you’re not into drag racing because the other building has an amazing number of restored automobiles from the 1900’s – 1930s up to the present. One ticket covers it all. We took about 2 hours to walk through slowly without watching all the videos. This place has all the trophies, newspaper articles, magazine covers, framed photographs, helmets…even entire room for engines! Really a great stop.

I finally was able to visit Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing. I have visited quite a few museums lately, with this one not being the typical museum. It's not even your typical car museum. In this case, the whole reason for this museum is Drag Racing. I must say mission accomplished.
I love the fact that Don's idea of a museum is the correct way. Yes a lot of it does pertain to Mr. Garlits and his career in Drag Racing. But soooooo much is not about Don, but instead many other personalities associated with Drag Racing. There are many cars and items throughout decades of the sport.
The Museum itself has three large rooms holding many cars, engines and many other items. I enjoyed taking a break and sitting on a bench to watch a video. You can spend a lot of time here if you really look and read. There were so many cars, people and event subjects that I remember over the years. But just as important were the many of the same that I didn't remember and learned about.
My only regret is that my ankle was much less enthusiastic than my brain, about the amount of time that I could spend walking around and standing enjoying the exhibits. Just a great place and better than I was expecting. Well done to Don and the folks that maintain this jewel.
There of course is a gift shop where you can purchase things. The rest rooms are in the gift shop if folks need to visit. There is a discount off the price for things like being over 60, or a veteran and such. So you may be able to save a few dollars as well. The price also includes admission for a second car museum on the property. That museum is more of the car museum most folks would picture when mentioning car museums. It's also very nice. I'm sure that I'll be back in the future. There was so much enjoyment to be had if you enjoy motorsports and especially drag racing. Thank you Mr. Garlits for building such a place for folks like myself.

Absolutely awesome!!! Not just drag racing museums , but also classic cars museum. He has other cars you might not see elsewhere. Definitely a place to check out if you're a gearhead!!!!

Fantastic museum for drag racing history buffs! Plan to arrive no later than 2-3 in the PM since the doors close at 5. You will need at LEAST 2 hours to go thru the 2 buildings. I recommend more time if you really want to stop, look, and read the exhibit descriptions and look closely at items on display. Nothing short of an awesome experience. Cool stuff in the Gift Shop as well!!
The park is a great place for a walk and gets you back to nature. It has trails that cross tidal creeks, which provides fantastic opportunities to observe marine life. The forest is always a great place to go, whether you are looking for peace and quiet or the bustle of everyday life.
It was smaller than I thought it was going to be but it was well maintained and nice. A park with swingsets and a small playground too.

This state forest offers an abundance of destinations to enjoy nature. Cooler temperatures in October and November make those months my favorite time to hike and explore the forest. Photos and video accompanying this review were taken near the intersection of Stage Coach Trail and Citrus Way.

The Withlacoochee Red Trail Loop is one of the most scenic trails around Tampa Bay that I have walked. It was cool weather so I didn't see much wildlife. I found the scenery was very nice, especially around the river. An added bonus is the tower along the path. I can see why the previous commenters were confused by the All Trails map. I found that I had to follow the orange blazes for 3/4 of the loop, then switched to follow the blue blazes. This is the only way I could stay on the All Trails path.

Amazing experience! We loved the mermaid Christmas show. Doors open 30 minutes before show start. We got in line early to get front row seats. After the show we got a photo with the mermaid and walked around. The water is clean and in the 70s. Today was a beautiful day and wished we brought our bathing suits and towels to hang. Many of the shops were closed. Will come back for sure!

This is such a cute place to take your kids! The mermaid show is so fun and entertaining! Although, the park does close early. There are only two water slides, but there's free lemonade and water! There's a lot of lifeguards and the place is very secure. There's also a little kids pool which is a bit boring and lame, but it's still fun for kids!! There is a food stamp and snacks, also a store. It has such cute little bathing suits! The bathrooms are so clean! The sand is nice and clean. The water is also nice and clean but the water is cold. The food is not really expensive. There's also a bar. There's a lot of trees and there's even kayaking! But that's in a separate place and you have to pay a separate amount of money for it. Overall, I would recommend this place! Just that if you're going to go to the water park side, make sure it is a WARM DAY! Or else you WILL BE COLD.❤️🩹

I tried unsuccessfully to get the menu for the parks concessions prior to going. It was no where to be found, the park couldn't even tell me. So I am posting it for anyone who may need it. The only vegan items were a salad that they were out of and pita chips and hummus, which they were also out of. Food took forever, it appeared that the restaurant is just not big enough to handle the lunch crowd. Everyone was working hard, just too many people for too small of a place.
As for the rest of the park, be aware that each of the attractions has limited times. The boat only runs until 12:30. The line was such that the last boat was filled by 11:00 and those waiting had to wait for an hour and a half to ride the 20 minute ride. The mermaid show has a long line and it fills up as well. Getting there at least 30 minutes before the show is a must. The animal show also gets pretty full and only had 3 shows a day. For as limited of things to do here, it is very difficult to get them all in because of their schedule and the wait times.

One of those side-of-the-road tourist attractions. Beautiful clear blue waters but ice cold. We went on a Wednesday so it was very chill. The boat tour was short and sweet. The mermaid performance was community theater fun. I wish they had lights and decorations or cool props... Seemed so bare. Maybe a black light tropical fish style theme? Something.. Anyway, it was very reasonably priced family fun!

The water is colder than you think. Be prepared. Ok, now the important stuff. If it is busy season, get there early. I'm talking they open at 9, no later then 9:30. Also, expect to wait in line. Got there at 9:30, the parking lot was almost full, and then got into a line that wrapped around park. Took over 30 minutes get to entrance. By that point, the park was at capacity. Even at capacity, there was plenty of place to set down your stuff and set up a tent or umbrella. Everything ran surprisingly smoothly. Mermaid show was the best part by far and pretty mesmerizing. Be warned, you need to be in line an hour before the show starts.... anyway, overall, good experience. Go for the mermaids. It really is the best part of the whole place.

Had a nice time here with our 4 year old daughter! Unfortunately, the water park was closed for the season, but we enjoyed the famous mermaid show and other activities like the boat ride (we came so close to the manatees!). Overall, it’s a great park, parts are a bit dated but the park seems to have a lot of history. The playground was also a nice touch! We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality from the cafeteria/ restaurant.

Came here for a family spring break trip and had a blast. The first thing you should do is go right to the boat trip area and save your time. They book quick. The water was amazing and crystal clear. The slides were a blast and there’s also a toddler area for the little ones. Is you want to do the lazy river you have a pay for the tube. 6-acre park with a swimming area, picnic shelters & a playground, plus fishing access & a boat ramp.
My family loves this beautiful park. The sunsets are always amazingly beautiful. We love the music people play and the crowds clap when the sun sets. Now, I have met and married couples here. Very intimate beach area meant just for tiny weddings and elopements. It's such a beautiful place.

This is a fun area to walkabout, catch a sunset or sit for a bit to enjoy the Gulf views and breezes. People are friendly. This park has a happy vibe 😃
The park is split by Sam's Beach Bar. The beach is on the north side. It's small but does have a sandy area. There are several pavilions with lots of picnic tables and grills. One pavilion is two story offering a 360° view of the area. There's also a small playground for little kids and public restrooms 🚻, right next to Sam's, on the north side. Signs posted say dogs (and fishing) aren't allowed on the beach, or generally the north side of the park.
Fishing is allowed on the south side. I didn't notice any "no dogs" signs at the south side of the park. A number of leashed dogs were loafing about there.
There's a public boat ramp and another restroom on your left as you enter the park. $10 to park/launch a boat. Pay station is next to the restrooms.

Such a beautiful site to see the Sunset on a boat ride. We were just testing out our boat to get it ready for the upcoming season. Checking out the motor, lights, fuel filter, oil etc. As we were out in the Gulf of Mexico by Hudson Beach our boat broke down. We did manage to get our guest and boat back home safely. So glad we weren't far from home. But the sunset at Hudson Beach was breathtaking as usual.

OMG. Rainbow River, even in late November, can’t be topped for swimming, tubing, kayaking, diving, canoeing and even fishing. The beauty is astounding - old Florida at its very best (check out my (if I do say so myself) A-ma-zing pictures! This River is spring-fed which means it is crystal clear. Like many of these type rivers in Florida, there are multiple springs that provide millions of gallons of pristine water each year. Divers come from near and far due to some of the boils being large enough to enter, the largest being the ‘K-hole’. The public park across from the K-hole is very nice. Modern and well, equipped, parking and restrooms are free and the grounds are very well-kept
Bottom line? If you want to swoon over the Zen beauty of nature DO NOT WAIT! Head over to Rainbow River in Dunnellon, FL.

A special thank you to everyone who keeps this landmark going.

Beautiful crystal clear river to kayak. You can launch from kp hole for $7 and go left up to the headsprings where it's stunningly beautiful. If you're feeling frisky, you can launch for free from blue run in Dunnellon and paddle upstream about 5 miles. It gets packed on weekends as the morning progresses, and people tend to clog up the ramp by standing around and or swimming.
Have seen a few alligators on the banks of the river, but only one ever actually in the water swimming.

It's a very beautiful place. There's tons of free parking available and the entrance only costs $1 per person during the summer. We went kayaking on the river. The water was crystal clear and very refreshing. On the trip we saw lots of fish, birds and turtles.
There's also a little designated area to swim but you aren't able to stand there in the water because it's so deep.
Definitely recommend bringing a noodle if you just want to swim in this pool! You also swim in the river while on your kayaking trip which was so refreshing 😊

We went kayaking on the Rainbow River today. It was beautiful. We started at K.P. Hole and paddled upstream. The current is very weak so it doesn't take much effort. The nature was very beautiful. The river is crystal clear. Definitely worth a trip on the river. From the entrance to the spring it takes about an hour. We were made aware of this great place by a local. Worth it!

Beautiful place to spend the day. River is large, deep, and has quite the current. Great for whatever you’re into; scuba diving, snorkeling, paddling, tubing, or just swimming. Lots of wildlife and gorgeous views to take in. Many spots to stop for a break including the state park, KP hole, and swampys. Clear water, but it does get murky by the afternoon due to all the motor boats on the water so get in early if you’re going underwater.
Located in central Florida, Rainbow Springs State Park offers a natural spring and lush forest. The park is well-known for its gentle rivers and year-round 72 degrees temperature.kayaks, tubing, fishing, swimming, hiking and bird watching are some of the activities available at the park.
It was my first time visiting and this place was seriously so beautiful. Some of the most incredible water I’ve ever gotten to swim in my life. I definitely recommend bringing a snorkel mask and a pool noodle when coming to swim here. I also recommend going early on a weekday to avoid busier times, we got there at 10:30 on a Thursday and didn’t have any issues getting in. I was worried about gators before coming swimming here, but after getting in I didn’t see any and felt very comfortable and safe swimming there. I’m already so excited to come back here again some time. Seriously check it out if you’re considering going! The springs are breathtaking and so refreshing to swim in.

Entrance fee is $2 per person collected at a gate house near the spring headwaters about .25 miles from the parking lot. There are some short trails, a swimming area, restroom/changing rooms, pavilions and grilling areas and a lawn area for sunbathing. The visitor center and snack bar were closed on the day of our visit, Tuesday in February.
There is a watercraft launch and rental area located just past the swimming area which we used to launch our paddle boards. You will need to carry your watercraft from the parking lot to that area.
The water is crystal clear, deep and 72 degrees year round. Paddling was great, next to no obstacles with light currents. I have had more scenic experiences, much of the river is occupied by residential areas on one side. Wildlife is abundant, turtles, fish and birds are everywhere. As in any water source in Florida there are alligators but we did not observe any during out 3 hours on the water. Best of all were the small coves along the river which provided opportunities to pull over and cool off with a swim.
There is a campground located 7 miles by road from the spring that has its own watercraft launch.
Overall the park was a great experience although I’m sure it would be difficult to have that same option had we gone on a weekend, the park closes the gate at capacity, or had we not taken the watercraft out to explore the river away from the swimming area.

We love it here because it was easy to find a shaded spot for a picnic under the trees and it’s very clean. Pets are allowed and there is lots of picnic table under the pavilions
You can then jump in the deep water by the ramp. If you have small children with you bring a noodle, I’d like one for me too, the water is deep & the spring pool wide
We rented a kayak for one hours and was enough
There is a beautiful cafe over the spring and a gorgeous trail where you can take a walk trough what was a zoo in the ‘60st … along the trail there is small waterfall
I think you’ll have to walk 3 miles to reach the bigger one
Not tubes allowed

My husband and I went paddle boarding at rainbow springs and we loved it! Beautiful river! We didn’t get to see much wildlife but it was still worth seeing the crystal clear water.

This place is AMAZING. Beautiful. Spectacular. We rented a kayak and got dropped off up stream from there we paddled to the state park and jumped in the water and paddled downstream to the rental place/blue gator. Paddling up to the state park took about 30ish minutes paddling downstream took about 2 hours so be prepared, being lots of sunscreen and go early in the morning!!!! The wind is not fun to paddle against. If we were to do it again we would’ve gone out at 9am instead of 1pm!!! But overall Excellent Experience!! 12/10

Beautiful state park with a botanical garden with walking paths, canoe/kayak area, restrooms with changing rooms and a swimming area. The parking lot is only a 5-10min walk away. You can tell this is a touristy destination by their gift shop, food stand & how they set up the park. The swimming area is smaller than expected, but still an amazing experience. I saw a sea turtle while swimming!
They do charge a $2 admission.
The campground is nice, clean and spacious. Check in was easy & staff was friendly. You can see the stars above in the night. The area is quiet & great for families.

Wow wow wow! The experience you get here is truly unforgettable. Such a beautiful spring. Crystal clear water and cool. With a swimming area and also kayak and canoe rentals. Restrooms are on site. Lots of areas to setup a nice picnic. The views were beautiful here. It does get busy on the weekends. So it's best to arrive right before they open. For only $2 per person to get in. It's the best experience you can have for that price. Btw you are allowed to snorkel in the swimming area.

The place is magical. Great for spending the weekend. The only downside was that the actual swimming area and the rental area were closed due to a storm. The trails were amazing! As for the food sold at the cafeteria, the cheeseburger was a 10/10.

Beautiful, crystal clear water and scenic views. Absolutely loved tubing down this river. Saturdays are heavy with boat traffic but Sundays are pretty quiet on the river. You can bring your own tunes but the entry price is the same!

Fantastic place for a paddle. Water is crystal clear. Go to KP Hole for easy access to the river. You can drive, and drop off your kayak or paddle board, almost all the way to the water. Once your on the river go left (it’s much more scenic that direction). If you paddle to the end there is a nice swimming area.

The water was 72 degrees. It was beautiful, blue and cold. It's at least 7 plus feet deep. The waterfalls around the nature trails were pretty. They do need additional tables, chairs and BBQ grills. If you want to grill, make sure you get there early to get a grill. It has a nice open field for picnics and play time. You can bring your dogs to this park. They do have a cafe on site or you can bring your own food. You can use a kayak to view the wonderful and beautiful nature God created. I've lived in Florida all my life, and I didn't know this place was here. I really enjoyed the trails and cold water. You only have to pay $2.00 to get in, and make sure you keep your receipt for re entry (just in case you need to go back to your car or to get something to eat). It is a must see if you love the great outdoors! Enjoy!

You can find all your answers here before coming here. This place is so amazing to see one of the natural springs in Florida. Firstly, it's open all day, basically from sunrise to sunset, which sounds great! It's a perfectly clean environment with amazing natural sounds. Summertime is always packed, so I was able to visit in October, which made me feel like I was the only person in the state park. The weather here is a bit colder than in South Florida. The swimming pool area is a bit small, so it could be a problem during the summer for accommodating everyone. There's not enough flat space to sit on the ground for a picnic, but they do have a pavilion and a cafe. The restroom is close to the pool area. If you like, you can also do canoeing 🛶 or kayaking. Last but not least, it's $2 per person.
Here's all you need:
⭐️ Bring a noodle; the water is a bit deep, but you can feel secure.
⭐️ Tubes are not allowed 🚫.
⭐️If you have a cart, keep in mind that parking and the pool area are about a 5-minute walk away.
⭐️Bring your snorkel 🤿 or goggles 👓.
⭐️I highly recommend bringing a wetsuit if you have one; the water is around 72 degrees all year.
⭐️Be ready to take amazing pictures!

It's like your own peaceful island! I spring hop often and this is by far the best I've been to! Not just for the waterfalls or the amazing springs but they also had restrooms, a gift shop and a snack bar!! It is clean and well kept also! I went during a weekday and got there as soon as they opened so it was quiet for the first few hours before it got busy! It was still serene tho!

One of the most beautiful places ever. The water are crystal clear and have the most beautiful colors. They have a huge lawn where you can just chill, and a bbq area where they also have tables and benches. They also have a small shop at the entrance for snacks and drinks. You can rent a kayak or puddle board for around 17$-27$ per hour (or around 50$ for the entire day). Another huge benefit to this spring is that they have beautiful trails where you can walk about and explore the nature around. GO THERE! Tubes are not allowed. You can bring your own kayak or puddle board as well (don’t know if they charge you an extra fee for that).

Very beautiful 😍 I did not expect the water to be so blue!! It was so pretty I had an amazing time. The water was crystal clear, and you could swim down and touch the springs. I highly recommend bringing a pair of goggles and, if you have some, snorkels. I went paddle boarding and saw fish, birds, and turtles. This was an exciting and superb experience. I would definitely go again but there are other springs I would like to see as well.

Beautiful place to visit, the water is Crystal clear due to the springs.
Lots of amazing wildlife in the water and on land.
You swim in the sectioned area, rent a kayak and paddle down stream or take a relaxing walk through the gardens.
Definitely worth a visit

This place is beautiful. Manybtrails to walk and enjoy nature. The spring water is crystal clear and at a constant temperature of 72°F.
It is also a good place to rent or bring your own kayak.
Their gift store is also a good place to stop by and the food it good. Would definitely visit again. Next time, I will do their tubing down the river.

Went to this Spring to do some paddelbaording and it did not disappoint. Beautiful clear water. Could see fish and turtles swimming under the water. There are areas of deep and shallow water. Couple of different areas to launch your kayak, SUP, or canoe. Has a swimming area marked off and has a little dock and a ladder where you can swim. There is a small gift shop and a cafe where you can get drinks and snacks. A nice outdoor seating area with tables. There are several trails. There is a trail that leads to a pretty waterfall.

Wow how beautiful this place was. I am definitely going swimming next time. You do have to be aware of gators around I would personally not tube but the view and the water was stunning. I look forward to coming back and experiencing more of this place. They had a cafe with drinks and food as well.

The best part about traveling to any spring in the state of Florida . Is getting there . And the back way is the most scenic
Rainbow Springs is definitely at the top of the list for Springs. A little physical for somebody who is struggling with strength. There's waterfalls throughout the property, but it's a very hilly terrain. Handicap accessible to see the falls and around the spring. But not handicap to get into the water. I was very disappointed and exhausted after driving 3 hours to go there. I wasn't able to get into the water. I used the Springs as part of my therapy after having a broken back. I spoke to the Rangers about having a handicap accessible ramp that goes down into the water. Some of the Springs have the handicap chair. There is more than one handicap person going to the park. The park is beautifully maintained. The spring is absolutely breathtaking, always a 72° all year round. It's a $2 fee to get in and definitely worth it. There are several springs in the surrounding area. You can ask for a spring map and also a state park map for Florida. There are over 176 state parks, not including National in the State of Florida alone. And at least 75 Natural Springs in the state of Florida. Each one being more beautiful than another.
I hope you enjoy my recommendation. Safe travel🏞

Very fun. Kids had a blast swimming. It was early January and only 65 degrees but the kids were more than happy to spend a few hours in the swimming area. Walking around park was very nice, lots of beautiful scenery, waterfalls and streams. Nature trails were also fun but didn’t get a chance to explore them all. Will definitely be returning next time we are here for vacation.
To be clear, not sure if diving or jumping is allowed but it was 6-7’ deep and kids never got yelled at so🤷♂️

Lovely park. Beautiful views of the water and the waterfalls. Nicely paved paths for walking. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Clean bathrooms, friendly and knowledgeable staff, plus a nice gift shop.

I went to see the waterfalls. They were really nice. Worth the drive from Jax. The parking was sketchy. The entrance fee is $2 a person. Come early because they closed at 1pm Saturday because they were full to capacity.

Beautiful place! Very well maintained, friendly staff. $2 entry fee per person. Not a lot of parking so, come early. A gift shop and a small cafe are available but, not always open so bring whatever you might need, just in case. If bringing small children, please bring some type of USCG-approved flotation device for them as the water is too deep for even adults to stand. There's no beach access, just steps and pier access. You are not allowed to hang out on the steps either so again, it's recommended to bring flotation devices for younger kids and non swimmers. Waterfalls, trails, covered picnic areas and open grassy areas for picnics and sitting are all some great features.

We took a motorcycle ride and visited here to take in the scenery. The park was beautiful. It has a crystal clear spring area for swimming. It also had very pretty waterfall's for viewing. They had a gift shop, and a snack bar. There were also indoor restrooms. There is walking involved up, and down hill. It appeared that a motorized handicapped seated scooter could be used if needed. There was a $2.00 entry fee per person.

This is the heads springs for the Rainbow River the water is crystal clear. There is a roped off area for swimming. During the week it is not too crowded, a bit more peaceful and quiet. During the winter months, even quieter. A few waterfalls along a paved walkway and some fish ponds. Picnic tables, benches to relax on, public restrooms. The staff was very friendly. The nature trails are sand and very wooded but easy to navigate. Parking can be a problem During the summer months, have to get there early. You can rent kayaks there also, I didn't, so can't comment on that. Just a beautiful state park worth every bit of the $2 entrance fee.

I've been here a couple times now and enjoyed each visit. Haven't been to many Florida state parks yet but this is one of my favorites. The kayaking is good and the gardens, flowers and waterfalls are beautiful. Worth a visit if you are near Ocala or looking to detour off I-75.
County park known for river tubing also has boating, snorkeling & other year-round water activities.
This place was great, we put our own kayaks in here …paid the $5 fee and paddled our way up river ….I’d you’ve never been…..WOW….rainbow river is incredible and this place is a great way to check it out!! Very clean and organized facility!

One of the most memorable experiences at a Springs. Easy access to the park, no waiting time to rent our canoe, it wasn't crowded and the visitors were extremely nice and pleasant. The water's temperature was amazing making it easy to snorkel and enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery. Grab your sunblock, water mugs, and a waterproof bag with essentials to enjoy your day. Highly recommended!

We put our kayaks in here to paddle with friends and enjoyed it. Nice maintained park with facilities. They rent tubes for tubers (apparently you can't use your own). They also have a shuttle service for kayaks and tubers. We just paddled up and down the area. Lots of wildlife - animals and people 😂 We got the VIP parking pass which made it awesome!! $20 was the cost I believe. It was a holiday weekend and the parking lot was full. We pulled up and parked right behind the pavilion. So convenient. Beautiful clear water! Even being crowded, we had an awesome time!

We got there at 7:30am (Memorial Day weekend) and the parking lot was nearly full. Rented a tandem kayak for $64 and spent the next 4 hours floating down crystal clear pristine waters. Absolutely beautiful day. We arrived back around noon. My only gripe: I don’t quite understand how to get in if the parking lot is full, they have a sign out front that says “lot full- no drop offs” with an employee blocking the entrance. We would have definitely preferred to arrive at noon (long drive from Tampa area) but just don’t understand how to navigate the system. Park closes at 8pm. Would be helpful if they would provide more information about what to do when the parking lot is full.

This place is a great paddle/kayaking destination. If you're a people person, you're in luck because there are plenty of them here. If you prefer solitude, you'll have to contend with a plethora of other alone-time seeking individuals. But it's worth it to experience the wildlife and exceptionally clean, clear water. Take a swim while you're at it if you enjoy cold water in December. Otherwise, you may want to save your water fording for warmer weather.
Erik Salas — Google review
Great place to launch from. We brought our own kayaks. Note: the fee is $7 now, not $5.
Really friendly workers that didn't mind a bunch of questions about the area and things to see, etc
We just parked in the lot and carried our kayaks thru the gate where you pay.
They have clean bathrooms, and the launch ramp is an easy incline.
We went early and there was only a couple people. Later upon return, there were quite a few people clogging up the ramp. If you're not ready to launch, please remember to wait until you are and let others get out on the water.
To the left as you launch upstream are the headsprings at Rainbow River State Park. There is a $2 fee if you want to park and walk around. I believe it's about 1.5 -2 miles.
It's beautiful and crystal clear.
Downstream from KP hole you can follow the tubers and go all the way to blue run if you're up for it. It's farther than expected, maybe 4 plus miles I'd say, but just guessing.
We did see two gators individually on the bank of the river, which weren't hurting anyone and there were even some idiots with snorkels getting very close along the sides exploring but they left them alone.
All in all it was very fun just remember to bring your sunblock and a reusable water bottle. Our legs got pretty burned from being out 5 hours.

Such a relaxing time tubing down the river. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen because tubing time is 4 hours long. So beautiful and got to see some otters!

Nice spot on Rainbow river to launch kayaks and boats. So much easier to go straight up to the river instead of the long walk from the state park at the head spring.
Lots of otters right at the dock.
Clean facilities with bathrooms, rentals and friendly staff.
Keep in mind their closing times if you park your car inside the gate. They close the gates close to sunset time.

My husband and I just tubed the Rainbow River today. We started at 830 am and finished at 2:45 pm. It was filled with amazing views and wildlife. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a long tube ride. However, the only mistake we made was to check the weather forecast and it was very windy. I would suggest going on a clear day. The tube rentals and shuttle are very organized.

We rented our kayaks online down the road at Rainbow River Rentals and they dropped us off here at KP hole to launch the kayaks. There is a little bit of a wait to check-in. Three important things to know ahead of time: all food and drinks must be in reusable containers, they have scanners to put over your drinks to test for alcohol, and you must have $7 cash or card to enter the park. There were a lot of people on tubes that I believe they rented from KP hole directly. I saw a tuber drift right by a small alligator and the alligator didn’t even flinch. They won’t hurt your unless you mess with them, which no one did at this time. The river gets a little busy at times, but it is overall still a very pleasant experience. KP hole park is very nice and I highly recommend everyone visit at least once in their lifetime.

I love this park. Plenty of parking. You can drive your kayak right to the ramp then go park. They have a wonderful ramp just for kayaks and paddle boards making it very easy to get in and out. Clean bathrooms. A swimming area too. It’s one mile south of the state park so it’s a nice and easy paddle up and back.

We launched kayaks into the Rainbow River from KP Hole. The parking was great, the launch site was very nice and the people waiting to launch and land were all helping each other, which was wonderful to experience. The staff helped us to purchase the $7 launch fee, which is uber reasonable. The restroom facilities were clean and very accessible. Highly recommended stopping by!!!

72-74 degrees. I'd recommend 3mm suit minimum. $20 at the front desk gets you a park entry plus a boat ride upstream. Nice relaxing drift dive.

This park was great, and the staging area is close to the parking. The only thing I wish I'd known is that it's only a 1.5-mile paddle up to the head spring. I should have looked before, and I would have put in further down or gone down a bit before going up :) happy to report there were river otters playing the day I went!
It’s pretty. It’s small and quiet, I’ve taken my two small children there to play and have a great time in the sand, water, and playground. And also been with my husband to watch the sunset for a romantic quiet evening. Great for both. Parking free week days, $5 on weekends. Palm trees so it’s tropical but also still gives you a rural central Florida feel.

I want to keep this place a secret! Small but awesome park/ Beach area. You better get there early as parking fills up quick and then it’s 1 out and 1 in. Snack Shack has awesome food and staff. Clean and a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy the day. Lots of beach weddings here. 3 pavilions- first come first serve basis . $5 to get in / State Park - Debit or credit only - no cash for parking .

Very cool place. Not "really a beach" it is more of a bay beach. Very shallow water. Would be great to bring little kids. Sunset is beautiful and supposedly at high tide you can watch the dolphins swimming and eating baitfish. The park is very clean and the staff is friendly. Just get there very early. They only have a small amount of parking. It costs $5 to enter. Credit or debit card only.

This is good for a quick trip to the beach. $5 to park, has a snack bar and restroom. Make sure you check the tide chart if you want to swim, most times there is no water to swim in. Great for sunset views, there is normally not a charge to park at that time. County does clean up the sand.

Situationed on the tip of a peninsula surrounded mostly by coastal estaury preserves, this is the perfect place to watch the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico! The wide beach area is very well maintained and spacious dotted with beautiful palm trees.

Love Pine Island. It's a beautiful local beach with the most beautiful sunsets. Although I didn't capture the sunset this trip around to display pictures, it's still a "must see" for travelers/visitors. They have also built a fun playground for the little ones and provide food and restrooms.

Pine Island Park... a great place for the family. Parking is $5 per vehicle card only for payment, no cash accepted. A great location that offers the beach, a playground, and food or just pack your own. The beach area is very clean, so please help them keep it that way. No alcohol or containers. There are restrooms and outside showers to rinse off. Keep in mind that once the parking area is full and mind you, it gets full fast, so I recommend you come early or you will be disappointed.

This is a nice little beach. Tremendous amount of seaweed to wade through to get in water though. Saw a shark at the breaker wall but it scooted out as soon as we started walking in water. Also saw dolphins out aways.
$5 parking fee with credit/debit only. Parking attendant helps with parking as it gets filled up. As it gets closer to summer, you need to arrive early to secure a spot. Gets crowded fast and there is a limit to parking. No life guard. Beautiful view.

Nice well keep beach area water quality look great not to crowded. Lots of wildlife dolphins sea turtles and even seen few little bonnethead sharks. 5 dollar per car to get in there is a little place to get food but super expensive. All in all not a bad little spot for people in Hernando County and parts of Pasco. Honestly would rather come here then some of the bigger beach south.

Very hot in the summer-water isn’t as refreshing as the cooler springs. However, they have a cute playground, good picnic area(s), cash only little food truck(s). We even saw dolphins chasing fish a few yards from us (see video)! I think we will be staying in the cooler springs though til the heat calms down.

First time here! Love that it's the ocean. It wasn't busy when I went so plenty of beach space to claim. Very clean beach, people respectful of your space. People considerate of their music (not blaring for all to listen). Covered picnic tables, grills, playground, and a Cafe to order snacks like hamburgers and French fries! Slushie machine too! Prices fair (cash only). $5.00 for parking. Beautiful drive in. Just a lovely time.
Update 3/21/23; went for a sunset watch. Ample parking and the past few times I've gone...not charged for parking!

Amazing place. We really enjoyed it. Adults are $13. Worth every penny! We took a tram ride from the, I guess back. That alone was fun. Lol.
Everybody we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Nice gift shop. A few stands with snacks and drinks.
We saw lots of manatees and babies! So many different birds. A black bear, a hippo, fox, snakes, so many fish!
It's not a huge place. We spent a little over an hour there. Definitely could have stretched it longer. Easy walk. A few places with stairs (and ramps). But to get down to the underwater viewing, only stairs. About 11 or 12. Multiple bathrooms.
Just a relaxing day, watching animals. You can't feed any of them. But, there are binoculars around, so bring quarters.

We'd seen several reviews about this place and intended to make it part of our trip. On a tour, someone almost talked us out of it, but I'm so glad we went.
First, we love that many of the animals there have been rescued and we got to read about their journey.
Second, I appreciated the fact that they had accessible features, including ramps, elevators, lifts into the train, viewing cutouts to see the animals, etc.
Third, the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative.
Finally, we appreciate their efforts in saving these amazing animals!!

If you are visiting crystal river then this place is a must for families and anyone that loves animals. They have the famous hippo "Lou" who if you're lucky might see bathing in the water, he is huge ❤️. The whole facility is well maintained and clean and the walkways are paved and perfect for strollers. There are plenty of shaded rest spots to take a break from walking. There is a cafeteria with burgers, fried and ice cream and also a small gift shop to pick up your souvenirs.

There are 2 separate visiting centers, one right off the main road which has a nice gift shop and restaurant and you can ride boat or tram from the first location. The second visitor center is closer to the wildlife area and water. Both areas are beautiful and have plenty of parking. The park closes at 5:30pm. Tram runs every 15 minutes. Hidden gem! We are so glad we got lost and went into the visitors center. They recommended this place and so glad we didn't skip it! Definitely a place everyone should go see! If you do not get a chance to see manatees out in the wild..u will at this place and capture some great pic! They have things laid out very well. The hippo gave us an awesome show and we got to see the panther take down a bird...dont worry the bird survived and flew away even after 3 attacks!
I would not skip this place at all!! Perfect for any age. Lines to get tickets are long but super quick so do not get discouraged!

This place is amazing. I really liked the way it is done. You get to know why they keep the wild animals in the park, how they were injured or raised in ZOOs or within private ownership. And importantly, how can you help to protect the species in the wild. And then you can see manatees in the river Homosassa, being protected in their natural habitat and looked after, cured and researched when it is needed . Perfect place and very inspirational. Thank you!

We've been here many times and always take new guests. When we visit the west coast. The price is reasonable. There's a very tiny gift shop which has less than it used to, they do have a small amount of food for purchasing, there is some indoor and outdoor tables for use, there are nice clean bathrooms.
I must say though that there seem to be less animals than in the past. There were only three alligators left when there used to be a whole lot of them before, but I understand from the really nice volunteer that was answering my questions that they have gotten old and many have passed away. I'm also a little bit disappointed that the aviary which housed so many beautiful birds that would just fly around and you can go and then some would land on you, that is not even close to being done let alone look like it was under active construction. Construction. The one thing I would say that they could also improve on is having a guy go around after opening and using a gas leaf blower for almost the entire hour. While we were there was annoying and distracting and kind of took away from the beautiful ambiance of the place. But it is a place we would go back and visit again and it's a great place for kids also.
If you get there early, you can park right across the street from the entrance. If not, you have to park out on the remote lot way out on the main road but they do have shuttles that will drop you off right at the entrance.

With two locations to park at one being the main entrance and the other on the main road. This park offer the most unique and diverse experience. The park is mostly covered and has a manatee Rehabilitation Center there. There is also a platform where you can go underwater to see manatees. The park also features a 40 something year old hippopotamus. There is a Crystal Spring in the park that comes up above the manatee platform. There are two sides to the park the manatee and the water side and the zoo side. You go right to the zoo and left to the manatee platform.

Beautiful place. Boat worth the 3$ one way. The tram is free or you can walk the 3/4 mile to the site from tbe welcome center. It takes about 3 hours to see it all if you take your time. Walking is easy and wheelchair accessible. Very clean.

2 adults in our 40s and we loved this place. Came in January and no one was there. Def do the boat ride. Enjoyed seeing and learning about the rich history of old time Florida-and catching a glimpse into the past Today. Saw manatees around the observation deck. Then eat at Skinny Tortuga afterwards (great local food truck).

While it is pretty at times, the park needs some help. It was not worth the price to us. You can easily park at I believe the west entrance and just walk into the area with the animal part. You don't have to go to the visitor center and take the boat or the tram. The boat only takes you through a little creek. The animals have small enclosures and there is not many to see. It was honestly kinda sad. Two manatees in the sick tank area was it. If you go make sure your going late November if you want a better chance at the manatee. We didn't even see the four manatees that live year round in the park. Reptile room is one small room with one fat cotton mouth and about 5 other enclosures. Fishbowl is going to undergo renovations it looks like. Kennels for your dog at the visitor center was a major plus. If you need to get out of the house with the kids this would probably keep them entertained. Easy to walk with strollers. Snack areas and bathrooms at both entrances.

A hidden gem. The atmosphere was homey and the various animals were interesting to see some being rehabilitated to be released back into the wild. The resident 60 year old hippo was totally unexpected.

Many tourists . Definitely needs to be upgraded but absolutely worth the visit. A must see if you are in the area. Many animals . Love Lu 🦛♥️ & the Manatee's & Bear etc. Only barely discusses the early Indians but not specific enough about who what Native Americans were there initially.
Three Sisters Springs wildlife refuge is a popular destination during winter for viewing manatees from the boardwalk due to its clear water. Although the park's entrance fee may seem expensive, visitors can capture beautiful photos and witness these creatures up close. It's important to pay attention as manatees blend in with the rocks.
Amazing little sanctuary. The waters are warm and crystal clear. I see why the manatees flock here. The walk around the springs is amazing with wooden walkways. The park guides are friendly and full of information. Great place to take a nice stroll.
The real experience is to enter the springs through the river entrance. The kayak paddle from our B&B only took a short time. Plenty of wildlife and amazing vegetation along the paddle. Once you arrive at entrance you have a designated area to land your kayaks and then you swim into the spring area.

This spot was absolutely amazing! A hidden paradise waiting to be found. Lucky for me, I have my own kayaks but you can rent some nearby. I launched mine from Pete's Marina. (Must pay to park) I highly suggest kayaking to this spot. Once there, you can swim or snorkel in the springs like I did. So amazing. Water was cool but not freezing. It was crystal clear. Fish swimming around of all sizes. I was even able to swim down to the bottom of the spring and watch some of the water come out of the ground. Such an amazing experience and beautiful. I felt so rejuvenated after my swim in there.

This is such a beautiful place to kayak and snorkel. You can't get on the rocks or the land but you can jump out of your kayak and snorkel around. We then used a rock that was out in the water to hoist ourselves back into our kayaks. We also kayaked around out in the river and saw manatees out there. Definitely would like to come back and swim in this area again in the future after they open back up.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! In January and February, this is the place to see manatees! In most places, you are so far from the manatees that all you see is bumps. Here, they can be just a few feet away (if you are lucky).
The boardwalk goes all the way around the hot springs and part of the inner coastal where they hang out.
Sandra Verboom — Google review
Park seemed pricey to get in especially after we just finished swimming with the manatees! But, it was definitely worth it to see a different side. Great place to capture beautiful pictures and get to see the manatees up top!
Hint hint...if u don't like to walk...go left not right from the ticket booth...this will get you to the boardwalk quicker! Manatees blend in with the rocks so pay attention. There is no parking here and need to park at the shopping center. This is not where u catch the trolley either...so make sure u are at the right location for what u want to do!

Kayaked in (October) to see the springs and look for wildlife. Manatee Lou was surrounded by snorkelers. Amazing to see a manatee up close, but it seemed like they just wanted to get away from all the people. Also spotted fish, birds, and a ray. Glad we chose to visit the springs via kayak as it wouldn't have been as memorable via the boardwalk, plus it was free to access via water compared to the $12.50 per person fee the refugee concessioner charges.

This is a very interesting place. Upside...great volunteers that care deeply for these majestic mammals. They are friendly, approachable and full of helpful information about the area, animals and conservation. Being able to view these precious animals in their natural habits was very memorable.
Downside....lots of snorkelers and kayakers took away from the full peacefulness of the moment.....but did offer a bit of entertainment of thier own.

Temporarily closed on our visit. However, we swam in the springs. Beautiful. Water temp was 77 degrees. Lots of fish and manatee. Crystal clear

You can see manatees here in winter. The manatees at Three Sisters Springs offer a captivating experience, showcasing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. The crystal-clear waters provide a unique opportunity to observe these endangered creatures up close. The conservation efforts and strict guidelines ensure a respectful and responsible encounter, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts.

We have mixed feelings about this. We loved the manatees, the springs the clear water. The boardwalk around it is nice and clean, I believe the refuge area are trying to do a good thing. We would love to be able to interact with the manatees but we don't. It's for their own good. We understand. I'm guessing the park people are volunteers. A little unorganized it the entrance. Maybe having a bad day,but no problems. Beautiful area.
The BAD. the commercialization is very sad, there were over 100 swimmers in the springs with these manatees. Commercial pontoon boats lined up in the canal dropping off and picking up swimmers. It's disappointing. Such a beautiful natural area being corrupted like this is sad. I'm glad the refuge is mostly protected, but I wish they would make it off limits to swimmers and companies doing this.

We boated here from Pete’s Pier which was challenging in the wind. We saw a few manatee on our way over and loved the springs! There’s a lot of monitoring of the space and it was pretty crowded. Today there was only one manatee there so we must’ve just missed the season (today is April 4th and the season typically ends around 3.31). Either way: clean, gorgeous and magical!

Overall the park itself and the environment is pretty delightful, with access to hiking trails, views of the spring etc. Volunteers were present to guide which was great. We saw on manatee which was great too.
The downside was—you had to park 1mile farther in the city hall and use their shuttle service/or walk to reach the springs. Also the entry fee was on the higher side (20$ per adult). And, there was no access to waters/swimmimg for that price while if you could pay extra for boating, kayaking and swimming through boating companies nearby, wierd for a state owned park?
Overall, I would rather go to another spring where we can swim.

This is a beautiful refuge and worth the cost to visit. If you have a National Park Pass, you will get a discount. We paid a total of $25.00 for the 2 of us. We went to the City Hall in Crystal Springs and behind the building is where you buy your tickets and can take a shuttle or bus to the refuge. We visited in February and you cannot swim in the Three Sisters Springs. However, you can see MANY manatees in the springs, which is crystal clear and a beautiful blue color. There is a boardwalk around the springs with viewpoints. There are also short hiking trails. We saw many manatees in the canals around the springs as well. The water is not as blue and clear in the canals, however.

Beautiful crystal clear springs. If you want to see manatees you have to go when the temperature in the Gulf is below 68°, they go in the springs looking for warmer waters. It was too hot this day si I didn't see any manatees. There guides along the boardwalk that share their knowledge with you. Very interesting

This park is definitely a must to go to in the winter when the manatees huddle to keep warm. Go in the morning, so you see lots of them. It really isn’t a huge park so it’s not an all day adventure. The boardwalk is the main attraction to see the manatees. They do have several other trails to walk. Take your National park pass if you have it to get a discount.

Worth the $20. I wanted to see manatees and this is the perfect place to see them. Nice walking trails and friendly, informative guides as well. Picnic area and restrooms with a shuttle for those who don't want to walk.
You can also pay to snorkle, kayak or do a little boat tour. I think snorkeling would be worth it but not kayaking nor boat ride. Too crowded and too small of an area. You can see manatees better from the walking trails. Look at the pictures. You cannot come into roped off areas. Manatees are mostly in the roped off areas.

If you look carefully while riding across the bridge, you might be able to spot manatees swimming through crystal clear water under the bridge. We parked the car, walked back, and were blessed to see a mother and baby gliding along. ☺️ They were on their way to join a whole community farther along, up near the shores of the Ellie Schiller State Wildlife Park. What a very special experience!!

Absolutely beautiful. Kayak in and swim in the crystal clear water. Its a little cold but you get used to it. Even swam with a manatee. Definitely recommend!

The springs are well cared for. There is a nice new bathroom and the volunteer guides were very knowledgeable. The visitors center is just outside the front gate in a strip mall, so definitely a good choice to park. We used the closest city parking a walk away but should have just parked at the center. The shuttle was useful but the walk is very nice too. There were still quite a few tourists, but not as bad as I imagine the springs near Orlando. Overall it was an underwhelming experience for Floridians. The number of manatees were more than we usually see but not by alot. The high tide advice was good, they do travel in and out more at that time.
The town is adorable and clearly catering to tourists from the North. The restaurants were crowded even after lunch time. If you are driving from a short distance away it would be worth it. We drove from the other side of the State and it may not be worth that kind of drive unless you just enjoy a day trip anyway. A bit costly per person for an entrance fee, when you can’t swim and only observe.

We had scheduled a boat trip to see the manatees, but came here first. In walking around the boardwalk and seeing so many, we canceled our boat trip. This preserve is beautiful. I love that the waters are roped off completely to keep people out of the waters to leave the manatees alone. It was really exciting to see some young calfs in there too.

Took a manatee snorkel tour with one of the many tour operators in the area. Went with Fun 2 Dive on March 2- was able to swim into the three sisters springs which is normally closed off. On this day, it was open. There were two female manatees resting near the spring. Overall great experience.

Beautiful Springs and wildlife trail around the lake. The boardwalk around the Springs gives you a wonderful view of the Manatees. Winter is the time to see them gathering in the warm Springs that stay 72 degrees year round.
Brittany Cole — Google review
Three Sisters Springs is a manatee wonderland! It's truly incredible – the only place where you can witness such a gathering of these gentle giants in one spot. The volunteers are passionate and knowledgeable, ready to answer any manatee-related questions.
With about six viewing points, the experience is breathtaking as you observe hundreds of manatees. We visited in December and caught the perfect time to see them. The trail offers a super easy walk, but if you prefer, there's a convenient shuttle option.
While the entrance fee is $20 per person, it's a small price to pay for the privilege of supporting these magnificent creatures. The money goes towards the well-being of the manatees, making the visit not only awe-inspiring but also a meaningful contribution to their conservation. 🌊🌿🐋💙

Crystal River is a coastal city located in the western part of Florida, renowned for its warm waterways and natural springs. The Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge provides shelter to manatees throughout the year, while Three Sisters Springs Wildlife Refuge offers stunning views of marine mammals and natural springs from its boardwalks. Additionally, the Crystal River Archaeological State Park is home to ceremonial mounds and remains of an early Native American settlement.
The Fort Island Gulf Beach Fishing Pier is a popular destination for fishing, crabbing and dolphin watching. The location offers stunning sunset views and a nearby beach. It has become a favorite hangout spot with its cool vibe and hidden walkways. The pier also features boat ramps where people launch their boats, making it an ideal place for water activities. Visitors can enjoy the crystal bay, which boasts of clean beaches and facilities like clean bathrooms and ample parking spaces.
Decided last minute to visit the beach and got to see the sunset over the water. This beautiful hideaway slice of paradise had us considering moving to Florida. 10/10 recommended checking it out

I love to go take pictures of the sunsets, and nature on this pier. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by a storm last year and now is closed to the public. I know it might not be an urgent project but we miss it.

This is a great spot to enjoy the beautiful Crystal Bay. The beach was super clean. There was a bathroom facility on site that was clean as well. Tons of parking space and a beautiful dock over the ocean. There is a boat launch ramp there as well. Great place for a fun beach day!

Such a nice beach park on the road area here. Pear was gorgeous and enjoyed the nice walkway into forest. The beach it self was fun to snorkel and play I.man although water very murky and nasty sea weed everywhere. Facilities clean. It was fun

Great beach, awesome fishing, the drive down 9 is so cool.
There was a drum circle at sunset when I was there.
One of Floridas most beautiful spots for sunset.
Clean bathrooms, beach shower, picnic area.

If you are looking for a quiet beach surrounded by nature, then this is worth the drive off of the beaten path.
There are many covered picnic tables, outside showers, and a state-park style restroom facility.

What a hidden gem. This location is hands down a must go with a trail, pavilions, a fishing pier, and a boat launch. This is an all around spot to check out. There restrooms on site and plenty of trash cans. I was able to see some of the famous dolphin encounters while on the pier. Locals say they come around occasionally. There's a spring nearby as well as marina where you can rent boats and buy bait if need be. Check it out for sure!!!!

Super awesome! I got there in time to park in a shaded spot by the pier. Enjoyed the beautiful raised wooden trail and pier. Since dogs aren't allowed on the beach, we walked down to the boat ramp area and walked along the beach there. Although later I did see additional signs that indicated dogs weren't allowed and steep fines charged, yikes 😳! Dogs were happy!

Great views of the sunset! There are a few picnic pavilions and picnic tables. Nice fishing 🎣 pier. We even found a hermit crab friend 🐚🦀☺️! Awesome icy out of a pineapple 🍍 at the local food truck by the beach. Nice white sand. Overall we had a great family day!

Beautiful, relatively quiet (depends on respectful visitors), beach. Beautiful white sands. Clean. Some covered concrete based spots to set up your beach chairs. Enjoy watching the birds, fishing boats, and the Gulf. Concrete block building housing bathrooms. Water fountains along outside wall. Beware we saw an adult lifting his dog up to drink from the human water fountain! Yuk. Total disrespect. Animals not allowed by the way!!

Decided to take the first trip to a small beach in Florida and was pleasantly surprised on how clean it was. It was very well maintained and there was even a fishing pier that was further back and had a walkway that was easy to traverse with a decent amount of parking. There is even a boat launch dock further down the road that was a pay to use. Prices seemed fair, I'm not sure how they compare to others yet. Along the way here there were some bird trails that you can stop at as well. It was a nice drive and will be going back in the future.
