Château-style casino perched on the river cliffs offering slots, table games, bars & restaurants.
Its small and i would love regular blackjack tables. They have the regular BJ at virtual tables but its not the same experience.
Marie-Christine Lemay — Google review
Not what it once was: The place is crammed with tacky slot machines, the Bar ambiance is trending downward since the renovations and overall the experience now feels very artificial and rigid with games like roulette and such now being Electronic.

Amazing view but very loud you can hear everyone walk outside the door do not recommend if u trying to have a romantic date

Spent a few days at this amazing property in August. The hotel is breathtaking, both inside and the outer grounds. You can really feel all the history of this place (and read about it all through the hallways and lobby). Great location, right next to the casino. Had a bit of a windfall this year, so decided to try my luck :) Only negative I would say is that the hi roller area is not as big or developed as the other casinos in Quebec. But overall great place!
Matt Mm — Google review
A casino with 2 floor levels. Main floor has more games where as the lower level is more quiet. There is a St Hubert BBQ restaurant on site, so you can play the slots/ have something to eat/and then play the slots again. A great place to pass some time especially if you have your hotel within walking distance.

Wandered around the grounds for a while trying to suck in some of that philanthropic ambience....I felt it, and went inside. There's a lot of poker machines and I'm a frugal kind of gambler. The treasury department suggests "Gamble Responsibly"....and I do, but when it comes to drinkin'!!%??
I had a couple of beers and lunch, the young lady at the bar was very courteous, helpful and kind.
Lonely Traveler — Google review
The casino itself is very nice, enjoyed the atmosphere and a good selection of machines, however the older gentleman at the front entrance was very rude, not a good first impression.
maria besharah — Google review
Staff is really nice, diverse slot machines and few tables with reasonable minimum bet size
Alexandre Fradette — Google review
Cute casino, not very large but has all you need, at least if your not a big player. Went a Saturday evening when google said it was very busy but still had an easy time finding a spot to park in the 6$ covered section. They have slot machines for all tastes. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Kim McDonald — Google review
The 2nd best casino after Montreal, visit this instead of the one in Quebec City!
Sachin Tewari — Google review
Small casino, but entertaining nonetheless! There's two areas to park, one is covered and paid ($6) and the others are a bit of a walk and free. There is a ton of slot machines, but not many games tables (blackjack, roulette, craps). There seemed to be a lot of people present for a Sunday evening, but we managed to find a spot. Won a whole $3, covered half the price of parking ;)
Meghan S — Google review
I regret to report that my experience at this casino was significantly marred by the behavior of the staff. Rather than displaying the cordiality and professionalism that one would expect from a reputable establishment, the employees were unapproachable, rude, and demonstrated favoritism towards their regular patrons. Disturbingly, I observed instances where they instructed paying customers to vacate their table in favor of their preferred clients, especially in the roulette section. Such conduct is wholly unacceptable and creates an atmosphere that is not conducive to an enjoyable gambling experience. As a result, I left the premises feeling disheartened and disappointed, with no desire to return to this particular casino. I would advise potential customers to carefully consider their options before visiting this establishment, as the inhospitable and disrespectful conduct of the staff detracts significantly from any potential enjoyment that the casino might offer.

Neo-romanesque building with stone sculptures & wood carvings, plus guided tours & a religious shop.
Simply spectacular. It is a half hour drive east of Quebec City, but well worth the trip. The ceiling tells the life story of St. Anne from one end to the other. I visited here about 48 years ago. Sadly, they had to remove most of the canes and crutches from the pillars because of Covid - too many people wanted to touch them, so that profound impression is lessened. But the sanctuary, and the chapel downstairs are just beautiful.

Beautiful location with super 👌 beautiful basilica, no words for inside architectural design and outside has unique design. We had so much fun walking around the cyclorama. Public washrooms were also available, I recommend traveler's to add this beautiful basilica in their bucket lists. A must visit this beautiful church ⛪️ in Quebec.

This is a must visit place if you’re in the area! We drove to this place from Quebec old city twice! We were so captivated by the area. There are amazing stories and art associated with this place. Definitely worth reading about them as you’re walking through the sanctuary and admire the place.

This is an incredible and beautiful cathedral! Well worth a visit to take in all the exquisite architecture and beautiful detailed artistic workmanship throughout the interior design. (we visited in August on a bit of a rainy day) From the many mosaics, stained glass, carvings, and marble accents to the incredible gorgeous bronze interior front doors! So peaceful and calming and healing. Powerful experience ❤️

This is a must place to visit in Quebec. The church is located in a very scenic location. Very beautiful, huge solemn church. Very memorable and miraculous for us couple. There is a public toilet outside… Interior architectural design is amazing as well. The St. Lawrence river is awesome. You can find some restaurants and fast food shops along the road. We really enjoyed driving here.

Beautiful sanctuary. The interior and exterior of this structure make it a iconic spot to visit. The architectural design is truly mesmerizing. The beautiful mosiac art and its sculptures are truly worth it. It is well maintained inside and outside. Overall, a beautiful place to visit with family or by yourself. It was a great experience for my family and I and its worth experiencing some time in your life.

An architecture masterpiece well worth the visit. Beautiful mosaic work and art. Also be sure to check out the chapel downstairs and sculptures outside the main building.

Absolutely beautiful church outside of Quebec City. The church is considered a pilgrimage site, dedicated to St Anne, Mary the mother of Jesus' mother. The interior decoration and architecture is fantastic. Unfortunately, we witnessed a house on fire directly across the street during our visit. If you happen to take the time to go here be sure to check out the basement as well. Very beautiful. Follow for more...
Mark D — Google review
This has got to be one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. I am surprised there is no entry fee here while they charge a fee to see notre dame in Montreal which in my opinion is not as amazing as this basilica.
Incredible architecture and the mosaic work is simply beautiful.
Very impressive and a must see place on Quebec.

A beautiful cathedral worth the visit. Lots of toilets and an area to buy souvenirs. Be sure to visit the basement for an extra surprise!

Amazing place . Church is well maintained and peaceful. The facilities are well-maintained, and the worship services are conducted with reverence and enthusiasm. The music and worship team's performances are heartfelt and moving, contributing to the overall sense of reverence and connection.
The church is a welcoming and spiritually enriching place that offers a blend of tradition and contemporary thought, fosters a strong sense of community, and actively contributes to the betterment of society. Whether you're seeking a place of worship, personal growth, or meaningful connections, this church is undoubtedly a remarkable choice.
Bibin Chacko — Google review
This church is extremely beautiful to see, both from outside and inside, with delicate and well-planned sections that are easy to miss.
There are multiple layers of religious depictions. On the outermost layer inside church, Old Testament figures are shown. Then the next layer shows the stations of the cross. Then on the pillars around church are scenes from the life of Christ; the carved details on the pillars are magnificent (see pics)!
Then on the top of church is chronological art of St Anne’s life from her birth (starting from back left when facing altar), circling around the church, ending with death of St Anne (at back right side). Using Google translate helped make sense of what’s written in French :).
The four corner pillars in front of the altar are carvings of the 4 Gospel writers, commonly seen in Catholic and Orthodox churches.
Presented in this way, I interpreted it as showing the OT prophets who prefigured Christ (at outer layer) and Anne who indirectly influenced Christ (at very top), as those who surrounded and played an integral role in Christ’s life (as seen in center and middle of church).
The outside area of the church are also beautiful to walk around; plus, don’t miss the chapels downstairs. Additionally, the golden door on the outside include integrate details of Scripture scenes. Well worth the visit!
The church opened my eyes to a historical figure often overlooked. The mother of Christ, Mary, is who she is due to the influence of her parents, Anne and Joachim. Anne’s background and upbringing of Mary brings to light her influence on the mother Mary.
It’s worth noting that on the top of the altar are three figures in middle, Mary, Christ, and Anne. Those on the side of Christ depicts the immense influence of these two women!

Most amazing church in Canada!
Started building in 1658 and has taken almost 200 years to finalize the build. Architecture and build quality is truly outstanding!

This is a must see in the Quebec City area. It is a massive Romanesque basilica built on a site with a lot of history. The only problem is that it is quite a way out from city center. I recommend taking the Unitour bus tour.

We stopped off on our way to Charlevoix. I have been in this cathedral before and it was beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to go in but it is worth the stop.

Glorious basilica outside of Quebec city. It's totally worth the visit.
Beautiful inside and outside.
Didn't have to pay to visit.
Underground chapel is pretty, but the main nave is a must-see.

Incredible church. Serene and stunning architecture. Lots of parking space. They also offer free tours.
The facilities are well maintained. It's a definite visit if you are stopping at Old Quebec city. There is some construction going on in front but this doesn't impact the glory of this church.
Located in Quebec City, Montmorency Falls are a tall waterfall with beautiful views. Tourists can visit the falls from an observation deck, and in winter, they can also ice climb on the falls' slopes.
This place was enchanting beautiful views of the waterfall the bridge the city the river everything rolled up into one. I went here in the rain and had the most amazing time ever you could possibly have in bad weather. The crowds weren't too bad and I was able to see the falls from various views and I would recommend this place for quick romantic getaway for two or family fun. There's not one thing I can think of to make this experience better and even parking was still pretty easy to manage. This is a definite place you should visit 100% while you're in Quebec and don't even think about leaving until you do. 😁

It was nice. Quick and short, it is a nice short walk, about 7 minutes. It's a lovely waterfall. The area is clean and well plowed. I suggest really good snow boots if you are going in the winter, consider snow cleats for your shoes because of the ice. It's well paved and plowed but there's ice that can't be helped. They add gravel and sand to help with traction when walking. The bridge is perfectly fine and very safe, it's a lovely bridge.
Laquila Manning — Google review
We arrived early and paid in advance online. This is a great place to visit, it wasn't overpriced and if you arrive early it's not too crowded. An added bonus is they have carnival exhibits still available in the summer. I cannot stress the importance of arriving early, it got quite busy as the day progressed.

Awesome place! honestly Montmorency Falls is a must-see attraction in Quebec.
The towering waterfall and suspension bridge offer a captivating natural spectacle. Hiking trails provide varying perspectives of this stunning wonder.
It's a perfect destination for nature lovers and photographers, offering a memorable experience in Quebec's beautiful landscape.
And to top it off it's not really expensive!
SulaimanBasal — Google review
you can hike from the upper parking lot to the bridge or take a gondola ride from lower parking lot. gondola tickets are separate from parking. its a nice place to visit during summer and winter as well. amazing views all year round.

Beautiful place to visit with family, friends, children or alone. There are picnic tables, you can enjoy the majestic view of the waterfall, the park, ride the zip line. Take beautiful photos. There are bathrooms with good cleaning service. The gardens keep them pretty.
Lucia P?rez — Google review
It costs to enter but is well done. Park and walk past the gondola and historic manor to the foot bridge over the falls. Continue walking around past the zip line and down nearly 500 stairs with views to the bottom of the falls. Continue around the boardwalk to the other side of the falls, then walk back. Or take the gondola up if you are tired or want a different view.
William Szepesi — Google review
Beautiful, clean place. Adult tickets cost $8-9, and given that we climbed the stairs (rather than cable car), there were no additional fees. The bridge itself is crowded with tourists, but the view from below and above is already breathtaking.
Aisha Rem — Google review
Beautiful scenery. Beware of the stairs if you aren't particularly active/fit else be prepared to take many breaks. Also recommend to wear a jacket or layer as some parts get very misty from the falls. Worth the full walk around at the bottom to get some great photos of the falls
Aspect — Google review
Amazing place to visit. The suspension bridge is right above the fall... Beautiful walk among the nature. The cable car system is a good experience too.. you can buy tickets online.
Kiran Mishra — Google review
An amazing excursion not too far from the heart of the city! I loved that we could see the falls from a number of different vantage points, including from the suspension bridge, the stairs and at the bottom of the falls.
It's set up really well, especially if you don't mind a bit of walking and aren't afraid of the staircase! But there's also a cable car that takes visitors to the top and bottom of the falls if you don't want to or cannot navigate so many steps.
There are a number of snack bars on site so it's easy to get some refreshments and there are plenty of picnic benches and lots of greenspace where visitors can relax and take in the sites.
For the more adventurous visitors there's a zip line and rock climbing guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping!
Highly recommended! I would absolutely go back.
Cheryl — Google review
Exceptional waterfall with multiple places to see the attraction from different angles. Note that you can pay and park at first level to see the fall at lower level and then you’ll need to exit and search on your navigation for suspension bridge to park at top area (the same ticket can be shown for both places). It’s worth seeing from top and bottom area.
George A — Google review
Visited this spectacle with a group of friends during a trip to Quebec City (prior to the pandemic). This place is absolutely gorgeous--the photos don't do it justice. You must see this in person to fully appreciate it. Standing over the bridge suspended just above the Falls is a breathtaking experience. It truly allows you to appreciate the beauty and power (from the sounds of the cascading water) of the Falls. Strongly recommend everyone to visit!!! Look forward to returning sometime in the future!
Brian Lu — Google review
Had a great visit to the falls. We rode the 800 bus from old Quebec city, and it dropped you off right near the entrance. The falls are very nice they have nice trails to walk across the suspension bridge and to the stairs where you can climb down to the bottom. Lot of lookout points for photos. There are washrooms available to use. It's definitely worth a visit

Beautiful views, even in the Winter. It’s super cool that you can walk over the falls on the bridge. If you’re brave enough, you could even walk down to stand in front of the falls!

Having visited Montmorency Falls, I was awestruck by the cascading water. The trails and viewpoints offered a serene escape, and the suspension bridge provided nice views. A must-visit for anyone seeking nature's beauty up close.
Traditional hotel with unfussy rooms, some with river views, plus optional breakfast & free Wi-Fi.
We arrived at Hotel Terrasse Dufferin and WOW what an awesome surprise. We were greeted by Amélie, who instantly made us feel welcome and like we were the most important guests ever! The hotel in our opinion is perfectly situated right near the Chateau with views of the river. Our room was also great we couldn’t fault it, large and very comfortable. We originally booked for 2 and stayed for 5 nights.
Amélie and Simon have only taken over the hotel recently, we wish them the very best in their new venture with all the plans for improvements they have and are positive they will be extremely successful. We will be back!!
Pete & Jenny H — Google review
If you’re considering booking because of the ~low price - I would stay away! The hotel is near empty and for our short 2 night stay they placed us on the very top floor. The stairs are very steep and there’s no elevator. It’s absolute hell going up and down multiple times a day, not to mention dragging your luggage along. I payed directly through their website so they should have had the courtesy to place us on the lower levels because there was no fee cut through a 3rd party booking site!
The Queen Room is tiny, literally feels like a prison cell. The bathroom sink is abnormally low and in a tight cramped corner that you have to squeeze into. If you have wide shoulders - good luck!
There is no AC and it’s so stuffy inside that it’s hard to breathe. There also a lack of ventilation in the rooms. There’s a ceiling fan that is completely useless and provides no breeze. Speaking of useless things, they included an old box TV which I suppose is just for decor because it also doesn’t work!
The icing on the cake is the rude man at the reception. Overcomplicated a simple check in process.
The hotel isn’t entirely that affordable to suffer through all this so spend the extra $50-60 and stay at a decent place.
Karima T — Google review
We loved our stay at the Hotel Terrasse Dufferin. The location is incredible just steps away from a toboggan ride and the St Lawrence River. We came for Carnaval and it was so easy to walk to the venues.
Everything was very clean, housekeeping was provided to us every day, alongside a complementary snack/drink stash (an amazing extra that made breakfast so easy). Service overall was amazing.
Also the option to be able to store luggage on check out to explore the area a little more before leaving.
Only thing to note is that the building is old, so there were loud creaks at night, but we just used earplugs and were fine.
Shawna Lee — Google review
Great Location and views of the St. Lawrence and the promenade. The hotel itself is a little old and a little tired, but so what, who goes to Quebec to sit in their room! The service is super friendly and helpful, and the money we saved staying here, we spent on fine wine and dining! Had a great time over the Canada day long weekend, would stay here again in a heart beat!

The location is wonderful, the people are nice, rooms are clean. We asked for a room on the 1st floor because we are older & didn't want the stairs. We had room #2 & it was wonderful. This is a 100+ year old building, so if you want something new & Shiney, this is not for you. We loved it!
Michael Jeremiah — Google review
If you don't go into this hotel stay thinking you're booking somewhere with a marble shower, elevator, chic lobby bar etc., you will be thrilled. This isn't your Instagram hotel. If you want to stay in the best location at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Yes, rooms are small and dated, but who wants to spend that much time in their room on vacation anyway? The whole city is there for your recreation.
The important parts: rooms are clean, well maintained and dark at night; beds are comfortable if a bit soft (my husband prefers a hard bed but liked this one!); there is serviceable coffee in room; shower water is hot; room was sufficiently air conditioned; we checked in after 10pm and a key was waiting for us in the lock box (customer service texted with me which was super easy).
I would stay here again in a second. Our room was on the top floor which might be hard for some people (the front door of the hotel isn't accessible so this place isn't an option at all for people with mobility devices) but I'm 7 months pregnant and managed it. There are little chairs on every landing so you can have a rest between flights 😊. We didn't have a view but looked out the window of a riverview room and it was gorgeous!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hôtel Terrasse Dufferin. We had such an outstanding view on the St-Lauwrence river and the Château Frontenac. The experience of old quebec city was enhanced by the historical cachet of the hotel and the room. Beds were really confortable, the room super clean and quiet. We had excellent services from the frontdesk. The location was also perfect to go explore the most attractives spots of the city by walk and very close to a lot of restaurants. I recommend 100%

Very great place location is amazing you cannot be located better then this. The view of the water plus attractions around is perfect for tourism every thing is walking distance. The place is a very old building 180 year old they mention but those days washrooms were very small, the fact that is old brings you back in time yet very clean and peaceful, even at night or in the morning..they dont serve breakfast in exchange there is cute restaurants very close by..
Thanks to the staff i recommend and would book again.

This hotel was build in 1860, so it's old, but we loved the place. Bath rooms are small, but functional. Rooms are nice and the views are stunning. Location perfect. If you can not climb stairs, don't book this hotel. Friendly service. Muffins a nice touch.

Location is spectacular! We didn’t have a view room but even so. Front desk very friendly and helpful, rooms small but charming and clean. It's a building with history, it's quirky and if you like lifts, huge uniform rooms with gadgets and 24-hour service, then this definitely isn't for you.
The whole hotel gives off an aura of someone being very proud of it and loving it for what it is.

Terrasse Dufferin is a charming family hotel nestled by the Saint Lawrence River, just a stone's throw away from the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. This historic gem, dating back to 1880, offers an enchanting blend of old-world charm and modern comfort.
Our stay at Terrasse Dufferin was nothing short of delightful. The location couldn't be better, with all of Quebec City's attractions within easy reach. Whether you want to explore the quaint streets of Old Quebec or savor the breathtaking river views from the hotel's terraces, you're in for a treat.
What truly made our stay special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owner's daughter, who fluently speaks English. Her genuine hospitality and knowledge of the area added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our visit. The rooms were cozy and tastefully decorated, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
Terrasse Dufferin is more than just a hotel; it's a gateway to the heart of Quebec City. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a home away from home with a touch of history and a dash of hospitality, this is the place to be.

This 180 year old hotel is an experience by itself, which adds to the old time and timeless charm of Quebec. Conveniently located just a few steps away from the iconic landmarks of old Quebec (Terrasse Dufferin, Château Frontenac, Citadel). If you are looking for a posh and an accommodation with modern trappings this ain't for you. The building is antiquated but for some reason my wife and I end up loving it.
Apart from that, Amelie is probably one of the most welcoming hotel staff that we have come across in our years of travel.

If you’re looking to stay in Quebec City for the Winter Carnaval or just for some sightseeing, this old gal is the place for you!!!
This is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in. It feels so cozy and welcoming and not to mention the historical aspect. Its over 180 years old and is so well maintained and just beautiful on the inside and out. It’s right beside the Fairmont and the boardwalk with the 1884 Dufferin Snow/ice slide not even a 2 minute walk away. It’s also a good walking distance from so many restaurants, shops, transit, and the ferry to Lévis! The staff are so charming, friendly and knowledgeable, they’re above and beyond!
I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! If you’re lucky enough to read this before booking your stay, I highly urge you experience this quaint, great value, stunning hotel.

My 13 year old daughter and I had a very happy time in Québec city, and staying at Hotel Terrasse Dufferin. The young owner who I met (1/2 of a couple), was très sympathique, the old hotel is full of elegant antique charm, very clean, excellent location, with gorgeous view right in front.
Merci Amélie 🙂

6 Pl. Terr. Dufferin, Québec City, Quebec G1R 4N5, Canada
Old Quebec is a historical city surrounded by 17th-century fortifications, housing numerous landmarks and museums. The Upper Town boasts the Citadelle fort from the 1800s, the renowned Château Frontenac hotel, and Terrasse Dufferin – an expansive boardwalk offering stunning views of the city.
This vast, star-shaped fortress is home to military memorabilia and artifacts dating back to the 1700s. Visitors can explore the site's attractions, including guided tours and a museum area, as well as regular changing of the guard ceremonies during warmer months.
Had a very good, hour-long tour today, guided by Dominique, in English. He led me around some of the museum exhibits, then out onto the grounds, describing the buildings and relating stories about the 22nd Regiment’s service and members. Saw inside the prison and the chapel and had a wonderful lookout over the old city and river.

Very interesting museum and still an active military establishment. The views are incredible.
Plan ample amounts of time to visit the museum and go all the way to the end to see the medal room. Very impressive.
The tour is pretty fast and the stops in the little sub-museum spaces were a little too fast to get the opportunity to read the signs.
It's located at the top of a rather steep hill. There were steps so I wouldn't recommend going with wheels (although the museum does have ramps) .
Toilets are at the back of the museum.
The little gift shop has Interesting toys and souvenirs.

I went on a quiet sunny weekend in April, the area was clean, free of debris, the walkways and boardwalks well maintained. There were lots of stairs but also lots of opportunities to rest along the way. I suggest bringing a water bottle, I was grateful I remembered mine. I absolutely enjoyed the views, the history and friendly smiles.

Great place to visit with family and friends, We had an historic tour of the place. I will definitely visit again. Staff was very friendly and informative. Loved it!!

A must go if you are in Quebec city. There is a lot of history here. The entrance is hard to find but once you make it in you're transported back in time. The guards and bare skin hats are on century and you can see them fire off a cannon everyday at noon. The museum where you buy tickets gives you a nice background on the citadel but the tour led by wonderful staff is definitely the highlight. Our tour guide was informative and very funny. Make sure you get free tickets to tour the governor general's quarters after your main tour. It is definitely worth going to see. We were lucky enough to only be in a group of three people.

This is one place you should definitely not miss when you're visiting Quebec City. We love history and La Citadelle de Quebec is a full of historical events between France, England, Canada and US. You cannot walk around the citadel without a guide since the fort is still an active military base. Thank you to our tour guide Marcus for the excellent walking tour of the citadel. He was informative and funny. The Royal 22eme Regiment Museum is also worth a visit with their amazing display of collection of the regiment's and the Canadian history, especially through the two world wars and the Korean war. We really enjoyed it very much.

It was a pleasure to listen the guided tour.
And the views from the Citadel are magnificent. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very supportive, so we spent more time inside the museum.
Will be especially interesting for those who like history and military.

Really cool old fort right in the main tourism hub. You have to pay for the guide because it’s an active military base. Our guilds in English was great! Just about 1 hour in length, if that. Be warned, it’s almost entirely outdoors… if you’re going in winter, dress for it!

This historic citadel is still an active military base of the Canadian army. I recommend you book the guided tour in advance before visiting the place. Our tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. Knowing the history of the fortress and how strategically designed the citadel was interesting a lot. There's also a small museum that tells the full history of the fortress next to the ticketing office. The view of Quebec was also amazing!

We took the guided tour, which is provided both in English and French. Given its an active military base, the entry into the Citadelle is only through guided tour. The place also has free parking spot wherein you can park for max. two hours.
The Citadelle itself is beautiful with history behind it. However, dont expect it to be very rich in history in comparison to the European museums.

Informative tour offered in English and French. We took the tour of the military side, but they do offer a tour covering the government side as well. The docent was well informed and shared a great deal of history with us. A good walking tour of about an hour. After the tour, you can visit the museum and then walk around the outer walls for fabulous views of the river and city.

Among all the things we did in Quebec, this wasn't talked about as much and we loved it the most! Make sure you go right before noon to have a special cannon experience ;) they have guided tours every few hours in French and English. Great viewpoint and a place to learn and know Quebec's history.

Neatly maintained and ample parking available. The guided tour was very informative and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in a bit of history. The tour takes about an hour. There is a two hour parking limit so people can take a walk around the areas of the Citadel post guided tour.

Massive place we reached on a very warm September day as we came all the way from the Dufferin terrace, which was at the back of the Citadel (good to know if you want to go straight to the entrance of this place).
The Citadel is packed with history and it reminds me of so many fortified European cities all the way from the Atlantic ocean to the eastern part of the Med.
Lots of info around and inside the place, entrance of around 15 CAD (if I remember correctly), souvenir shop, toilets etc

Very cool historical place that is still the actual military base. We saw musical performances at 10am and had a guided tour on English. At noon, the military fires blank shots from a cannon. They have very nice museum with lots of artifacts from WWI. Also, changing guards is very interesting as well. You will not find anywhere in the world French speaking soldiers in British uniforms, and do not forget the goat.

We had a great experience and really enjoyed the tour. The price for admission was very reasonable. The tour was about an hour long and learned a lot about the Citadelle. Experience was good, and one should visit. If you are planning and thinking if it is worth or not. Then do not doubt as I traveled from ontario to Quebec just to visit this place and it was worth it.
Best will be spending day and exploring the area around like Laiterie de Coaticook ltée
Hike is not so stroller friendly if you are planning with babies, so think accordingly

Its like a live story telling experience. so many elements to interact with. the river in between, the Bridge, the fireflies.. wonderful experience. The whole walk takes about 1-1.5hrs depending up the time time you want to spend at each exhibit. Photos done do justice. You have to experience it. book ticket in advance and show up on time. there is a huge line up. Parking available. Visited at 11:30pm it was so worth it: time and money

One word to describe it: AMAZING!
The concept is very unique to what I've seen so far. The decorations and music along with the theme (especially when a natural mist covers the forest) create a truly magical ambiance! I felt like walking through a fairy tale and felt like a child :)

Honestly it was worth it. The walk isn’t to long. The presentation and show is amazing. I did wish it was longer but i had small kids and two people with health issues with me. Amazing idea I’m very excited to return this year. Also affordable.

It's magical! Fun for kids or even a first date! Lots to see! Great music and light shows.
You walk through the woods for about an hour. 2.6 km.
Also over the 559 foot long bridge! Super nice! It really doesn't move much at all, a guide makes sure no one starts jumping before you get on. You don't see how high you are because it's dark.
The lights work along with the music. Short videos too.
Line ups are not at ALL what the used to be because of covid. 30 people at a time.
Also, no guidance needed. You're free to roam and take your time.
Not much of a hike, more a walk.
Exit through the boutique in the end.

135 Rue Michaud, Coaticook, Quebec J1A 1A9, Canada
Storied zoo featuring more than 200 animal species, plus thrill rides & an Amazon-themed water park.
We brought my son here for the first time and he loved seeing all the different animals. The lions, rhinos, giraffes and zebras were his favorite and they were all close enough to the edge of their enclosures that we got a fantastic view. Some of the monkeys seemed to be a bit sick but apart from that the animals looked healthy. There was lots to see and all in all it made for a great afternoon trip.
Andrew Laramee — Google review
Price might seem as a little expensive, but if you know that there is a wave pool and tons of free rides, plus 4 continents of exotic animals, it’s pretty incredible that they can keep it at that price!
It takes a full day visit. We visited when the wave pool was not open and arrived at noon. We stayed until 5 and were exhausted (mostly because of heat). So if you arrive at the opening at 10am, at a not too hot day, you should plan for a whole day, from opening to the closing.
Most of the animals seem healthy and well treated. The little ones will learn so much about the animals they saw on TV or Disney movies! Amazed by the muscleman gorillas, by the shear size of the hippopotamus, and the elephants. The animators of the snake, the gorillas and the elephants were super fun for the kids and full of knowledge and they are passionate of sharing their knowledge too!
My son and I had a blast with Lego animal constructions!

Went to this place with family and do recommend as a great family friendly activity, with loads of animals, long walks and activities for kids. Beware of the expensive admission fee though. They have some XL sized Ginger Tabby cats and a ride that takes you through the good portion of the zoo.

This is a fun zoo outside of Montreal. It’s not too big so it’s great for younger kids.
Several of the buildings are not stroller friendly. Most of the Door openers don’t work so you’re awkwardly holding the firing trying to get a stroller in. The cafeteria doesn’t have a stroller or wheel chair entrance.
The nursing room in the cafeteria was also disgusting. Covered in toilet paper And it smelled like someone had peed all over it. There is also only one in the entire zoo.

Visited Granby Zoo last Saturday and despite the crowds, we were pleasantly surprised to find no waiting times. Once inside, the expansive size of the zoo made it feel uncrowded.
The variety of activities available was impressive, with the standout being the captivating shows featuring different animals presented by the zookeepers.
However, there was a slight letdown as a significant number of animals seemed to be asleep and unengaged with visitors, almost as if they were completely hidden from view. Nevertheless, the zoo proved to be an excellent family outing that I wholeheartedly recommend. The food court was efficiently organized, and the pricing appeared reasonable.
Arriving around 10:45 am, I was able to secure a convenient spot in the P1 parking area, which is in close proximity to the main entrance. Additionally, purchasing tickets online in advance streamlined the entry process.

So for a first timer , we heard so many great things about Granby Zoo, and ended up dissapointed in it to say the least. First of all for a family of 4 (youngest is 2 years old) 97 CAD is a lot !!! And an extra 13 CAD to rent the stroller which is in the gift shop (a 1o min walk from the entrance ), and believe me if you have young kids you will need a stroller or carrier because it is a huge place (took us 4 hours and we didnt even visit it all) . Also bring finger food and snacks along, if you are visiting soon, coz only one restaurant was open and his options were limited to fast food.
On the good side ,we got to see lots of animals , they have a paper map you can get on the entrance to help you navigate your way, it had a big variety of animals...
But if you have sensitive nose , some places are extra smelly 😷 so be careful

Buy tickets in advance to save money, we went on Canada Day twice now and enjoyed all the animals and attractions possible.
The Wave pool was way too cold to enjoy personally, but it's still fun if you are brave enough.

Rental strollers and wagons are available at a reasonable cost.

We had a great time we started with zoo and the rest on the next weekend as we cannot finish all on the same day. It's a bit expensive but if you are planning to go more than 1 time.... then I recommend you to take the summer pass and visit as many times as you want.
Nadia Qulood — Google review
First of all if you don't arrive at the parking lot at 10am you may waste an hour waiting to park which is inconvenient, the right turn on red at several intersections here should be eliminated!
It is recommended to stay here for two days, one day to see the animals and one day in the water park, there are many types of animals also you can interact with the animals, for example, spend $3 to feed the parrots. The water park has several programs that are very exciting, especially the barrel slides. The rafting program is very suitable for parents and children to experience, smaller children need to wear life jackets. The bumper cars and carousel at the playground are especially popular with children.
Kevin Lee — Google review
We have been a few times already and this time the animals were more active than usual which was great. The experience, attractions and atmosphere are all really good. Don't miss feeding the birds early or petting the manatees, both at the Oceana section.
The bathrooms and facilities were pretty clean and easily accessible no matter where you are.
My only "complaint" is that the price has risen by 20$ per person since the last time we came 2 years ago so that shocked us a bit but the exhibits and the work they do at Granby would justify it somewhat.
They have a new area in the Asia section under construction so we are looking forward to that next year.

Stroller for kids is crucial, otherwise, parents will get nervous too much by tired kids.

I’ve been to a couple zoos in China and then I went to Granby “zoo”… this was a joke… most areas with the larger animals would have one or max 2 animals that usually didn’t have any energy and were far away. There were only two positive things I could think of. One it was not crowded but there wasn’t much to see anyways. Two the kids enjoyed staying in the water areas more than seeing the animals. I later brought them to a real water park to have more fun. Save your time money and energy from going here and choose another activity.

Fantastic zoo to visit... We went there about ten years ago and loved it. At the time we spent part of the day in the zoo and part of it in the water park. We decided to return and take our visiting relatives along, and despite the hot weather, we truly enjoyed the visit. Some of the animals were too hot and hiding, however we go close and personal with the Siberian Tiger and other animals. One particular experience was being able to touch and caress the stingrays, riding the camel and horse and pony (kids). The layout and map were not easy to read, but generally speaking, the flow is easy and will allow you to see the various sections of the zoo. You can bring your own food and I suggest bringing along a rolling cart (or you can rent one there for about $13). There are restaurants everywhere and ice cream shops as well. The staff is fantastic and very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this zoo for a family outing or visit.

The lions, elephants, zebra, rhinos.
I love it and my kid too

The part I dislike was the fact that the food offers in the park are mostly sweet and fast food, I think the choice is very limited
I truly advise you to bring your own sandwiches and drinks
The set up to visit is pretty well done so you experience the most out of it

My favorite zoo, super well done for family with young kids, also has waterpark and rides. My only complaint is it's pricey (ticket from 3+ years old) and the park opens only from 10am to 7pm in summer. It's impossible to do everything in one day and parking is not big enough to accommodate on busy weekends. We arrived after lining up for a while in cars to learn that parking is full and have to go elsewhere!!!

Great amenity to have at a ski mountain - really changes the game for kids on a family ski trip. They had a blast. Everyone here is friendly, the space is laid out well/maximized, the featured are fun... have been here 3 times and will surely return

It's a nice facility. Very small compared to other inclusive indoor water parks like Kalahari or Great Wolf Lodge but the rides are smooth and the lifeguards adhere to rules. If you're local I recommend a trip but, for this itself, it's probably not worth the cost for offered amenities.

The indoor water park was AWESOME! Plenty to do. Temperature was comfortable but very humid. Great place to chill out and relax at. There is a cool bar that sits up on top where you can watch your family and/or friends enjoy the waterpark. Drinks were great! The seating was hard to grab but we didn’t have to wait very long to snag a table. Towels are on the small side. I would recommend trying this place out after a long ski day!

Great time here as always. Especially fun as a kid. The red drop tube kind of hurts your back and isn't very fun in my opinion, but everything else is! I like how they have a separate hottub to sit outside even when it's snowing and the winds blowing. Froze my hair... went over and got waffles and chocolate from the waffle shack after. The food isn't bad at the Waterpark either.

We had fun, I had 3 teenage boys with me. The day we went they were only open 4pm-8pm, but they were running a buy one get one free sale so that helped with the lack of hours.
We ate there first, the food was very good.
Then we went and did the waterside for about an hour and a half, after we went to the arcade for about 30 minutes, then headed back to the waterlslides, water basketball and rock wall pool.
I personally planned my entire evening around the lazy river - I had never planned on leaving it, May for the hot tub every once in a while. But did that happen, no it did not why you ask be cause and also the whole reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the lazy river (or as they call it "adventure river") was closed for the season! It's an indoor water park - aren't all the seasons in season.
D. Roy — Google review
If my kids were to do this review it would have been a 5 but as a parent there were a couple things I didn’t appreciate. The snack bar inside though was awesome! Also the activities were pretty cool. Now not so awesome. I paid full price for tickets that were only 4-8pm which is considerably less time than normal hours. I of course hadn’t noticed the time change and assumed they were normal hours because of the same price and would’ve booked our trip differently had I known. Also my children’s eyes were completely bloodshot within about 20 minutes and burning from the amount of chemicals used even in the outdoor people. I understand there’s a lot of children and you may have to use more but we’ve been to other water parks and never had such an issue. I skinned my knee and am also having a problem with it healing and I’m assuming it’s from the amount of chemicals that were in the water. The kids feet were also all raw from the cement on the bottom of all the pool floors. I’d recommend water shoes for any other families if that’s allowed? If it’s not it should be.
Christina Eaton — Google review
They have lockers - they're $10 with an additional $20 that's returned with the key. Even when the resort was literally sold out, it took no time to get into the lazy river which was awesome. The arcade is perfectly fine and the staff are exceptionally nice, even when there's a crazy number of people. Slides are worth doing; on a not full day there was nearly no wait. Play areas for young children who loved them, and there were a number of teens and tweens around that were having a good time.

Unfortunately the lazy (adventure) river was closed due to staff shortages, the water slides were a blast especially the red slide that has a drop out door shooting you around a loop at high speed. There is an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a ful bar and indoor surfing that is very entertaining to watch if you're not adventurous enough to try. The staff is friendly and interactive. A little crowded but the slopes were in rough condition. Overall a great experience. Looking forward to a trip next year.

The park itself is a really fun day. A great place for a family outing. What really irked me about my visit was the number of selfish people who hogged chairs o themselves by placing a towel or other item on it in order to prevent anyone else from using them, while they were no where is sight for a long time. I found it so upsetting and selfish of all of these people to do this when there were clearly many many people searching for a place to sit or eat. Some people had like 6 or more chairs around a table, all crammed in together, with one person sitting at the table. They should be ashamed of themselves for being so selfish.
I strongly suggest that this establishment revise their rules to eliminate chair hogging, like other places do, so that everyone gets a fair chance.

Awesome fun and absolutely beautiful when it's snowing.
Plenty to do for a day.

Safety is a big thing here. Lifeguards are visible. Ample chairs and tables when we visited but i guess during peak season these would not suffice. Tickets during summer is inside their gift shop on the second floor and the door is on the far left which is kinda a blind spot. Ticket costs $44 for adult. Their is a flowrider and you need to fill in a waiver while you are buying to save you time.since the lifeguards will look if you have a whiteband signaling you already had the waiver signed

It was very busy and crowded with no lockers left to purchase, no tables or chairs available (all taken). I brought 4 teens, and they seemed to enjoy the water slides and lazy river the most. The food is good, but be prepared to stand in line for a while, especially on weekends. It was clean, an easy check-in process, and the life guards on duty seemed very attentive. We don't have many indoor water parks to choose from within a 3 hour drive, so we would definitely come back.
Rosanna Manuel — Google review
It has been several years since our last visit. Le chute was not working, lazy river had no rapids/waved or any water features working, and there is no system for the tube rides. Kids are always waiting for someone to give up a tube so they can have a turn.
We had a lot of fun the first time we went, after this visit I doubt we would return. Not worth the price for admission.
Greg Noonan — Google review
(2023 review) The kids love it and the food. They have pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, fries and dot ice cream. For adults the food is gross. The beers are $10 each. There is an outdoor hot tub that is fantastic. Lockers are $30 but you get $20 credit back if you leave before the end of the day. The lazy river is not lazy it has waves. You can't bring your drink on the river. Only 4 slides, two with tubes and one where the floor drops out from underneath you. Water Basketball, water rock climbing wall.
Update (2024) the water park front desk was closed all weekend. You had to get towels and bracelets in the gift shop. None of the doors to the water park were open. All locked, you had to enter through the gift shop or walk through the arcade, so annoying! This time the locker rooms were dirty and so was the outdoor hot tub. I wasn't impressed this time around.
Also the water park closes at 4pm on Sunday
The Montreal Botanical Garden is an expansive, free attraction located in the heart of Montreal. It's known for its beautiful gardens and vast array of plant and animal specimens, as well as its annual Gardens of Light festival. Admission to the garden isn't free, but it's definitely worth it if you're in the city during autumn when the gardens are at their very best.
For non plant lovers and plant lovers alike this visit to the Gardens is not only aesthetically pleasing but informative and engaging. Staff felt very pleased to be team members here and therefore were very jovial in answering questions and facilitating queries. Visiting the different environments is absolutely gorgeous and diverse. It’s so astonishing to see the variety of foliage at this location. Would recommend to anyone who has some curiosity around plant life!

Beautiful gardens, tons of walking paths, many places to sit in the shade and admire the views. The presentations we saw were well done and interesting. We especially loved the Chinese garden. It was very hot today though and we didn't get to see many of the gardens - my back and feet just couldn't take the amount of walking.

The Montréal Botanical Garden is a must-visit destination, offering a delightful experience for all ages. One of the highlights for kids is the hands-on activity of making pizza using wood chips. It's a unique and fun way for children to learn about food and engage in a creative culinary adventure.
The garden also boasts a remarkable collection of herbs, showcasing their aromatic scents and medicinal properties. It's a wonderful opportunity for both children and adults to explore the world of herbs and discover their diverse uses.
Another enchanting feature of the Montréal Botanical Garden is its vast array of rose flowers. With their vibrant colors and captivating fragrances, the garden showcases a stunning variety of rose species. It's a feast for the senses and a perfect place for flower enthusiasts to indulge in the beauty of nature

An awesome planned botanical garden, a gem of Montreal's attractions.
We appreciate the greenhouse which houses many plants from the rain forest, the tropics, and from the arrid desert. This collection requires travels that an average person would not be able to make in his lifetime. The Chinese and Japanese gardens are authentically created, bringing out the beauty of each own. Chinese garden is more showy and large, while Japanese simple and minimalist. The rose garden is splendidly laid out, still shows some of its glory even though we visited it when the high bloom has passed. The Alpine garden is great, nesting around the rocks. The First Nation captured the spirit of the wild. Our most favorite is the every day garden the blends decorating flowers among vegetables and fruits. Very creative and practical.
Nice on-site restaurant with delicious food, a nice touch to round out the visit.
A must see in Montreal....

Beautiful garden. Unfortunately we had only planned to spend about 2-3 hours here, and due to time we never got through it all. I would definitely recommend planning at least a half a day maybe even longer. So many different plants and flowers to see, all artfully arranged. It is a fantastic garden. This would also be a great place to see multiple times a year just to see how it changes. Or different times a day. The flowers were lovely, in full bloom when we went. Plenty of places to take pictures, sit and enjoy the outside, or take a stroll among nature. We went during the week, early, and it wasn't too busy, however the parking lot was full when we left.

Must visit in Montreal. Beautiful gardens with a ton of variety, even at the end of April - very early in the season. You can spend a half-day or even the whole day seeing everything, given how extensive the gardens are. Right by the entrance, you’ll also find a charming small restaurant with a large outside patio for lunch.

The assortment of plants and trees are very good. It was good fun to roam around and look at the different plants from many different regions. My favourite was the Bonsai section. Can do the whole tour (indoor section - went during the winter months) in an hour and it is self paced. Wasn't too busy when we went. Paid parking on site - quite a lot of them.

One of my favourite gardens across North America, and rivals some of the best I’ve seen in the world! Tons of pretty flowers, interesting trees, arranged with care in various smaller (and educational) gardens like the First Nations garden, Chinese garden, and Japanese garden to name a few. Large variety of plants and landscapes plus events like tea ceremonies and lantern festivals means I love coming every few months to see what’s new! I’d highly recommend the Chinese garden in particular with the large pond, multiple pavilions and bonsai (-like?) collection! I’ve come alone, with friends and with family and it’s always a great time

A Captivating Botanical Garden Experience!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently visited the Montréal botanical garden that left me in awe. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility that surrounded me.
The garden is a sprawling oasis of lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and diverse plant species. Each step revealed a new surprise, with meticulously curated displays showcasing the wonders of nature. The attention to detail in the arrangement of the plants and landscaping is outstanding.
The garden's amenities were excellent. Clean pathways made strolling through the garden a breeze, and there were plenty of benches and shaded areas to rest and admire the surroundings. The visitor center housed an extensive library and gift shop, offering a wide range of books, souvenirs, and plants to take home.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. They were always ready to answer questions and ensure that every visitor had a memorable experience.
In conclusion, this botanical garden surpassed all my expectations. It is a haven of natural splendor, providing an escape from the bustling city life. Whether you are a nature enthusiast, a plant lover, or simply seeking a serene experience, this garden is an absolute gem. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, and I am already planning my next visit.

Also admire Koi in the pond for good luck!

Absolutely beautiful! We spent 2.5hours walking the main track and didn't get to see 50% of the whole garden. Better when it's not so busy... could be more peaceful closer to the off hours when there's less people.
Highly recommend to all - locals and tourists alike.

Wow! Just blown away by this botanical garden. It's massive with a lot of of different gardens like Chinese, Japanese, Rose, Shade, Medicinal ... too many to list. And they have a massive Arboretum. Entrance fee is justified given how big and nice the gardens. Our favorite was the Chinese garden. We easily spent 2.5 hours and maybe covered half the property. They have benches scattered around the property where you can sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the gardens.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Chinese and Japanese gardens. There is a photo of a woman that is promoted that is no longer here. But there is lot to do and experience. Wear long sleeve and bug spray. Lots of mosquitoes this time of year! Arrive early to avoid crowds. Definitely my favorite part of my visit.

Visiting the Montreal Botanical Gardens was an experience nothing short of magical. This expansive oasis in the heart of the city is a true testament to the beauty and diversity of nature. With meticulously maintained gardens, each area offers a unique and breathtaking view.
The diversity of plant life is astounding. From the tranquility of the Japanese Garden to the vibrant colors of the First Nations Garden, each section tells a different story, allowing visitors to travel the world through its flora. The Chinese Garden, with its traditional architecture, is particularly stunning, especially during the lantern festival.
I was impressed by the educational aspect as well. The gardens are not only about beauty but also about learning and conservation. Informational signs are placed thoughtfully throughout, offering insights into the various plants and their ecosystems.
What truly makes the Montreal Botanical Gardens stand out is its commitment to providing a serene, natural environment for both relaxation and education. It’s a perfect place for a leisurely walk, photography, or even a picnic.
The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and passionate, enhancing the experience with their insights and care for the gardens. It’s clear they are dedicated to maintaining this as a special place for all who visit.
Whether you’re a local or a tourist, a nature lover or just looking for a peaceful retreat, the Montreal Botanical Gardens is a must-visit. It’s a place where one can lose themselves in the beauty of nature and find a moment of peace in the bustling city.

A fantastic Botanical garden we planned our trip around. The exhibits and plants were well maintained. Looking at the map the area of the park was massive but the gardens only seemed to utilize less than half the land. I am curious to see if they plan to expand the exhibits. We went in the fall so the rose garden and a few other plants were already gone. It's probably best to visit the gardens in May, June or July. All in all it was a great trip and if you are visiting Montreal I cannot recommend it enough.

Huge botanical garden. Unfortunately we came here in late October where most of the plants were not blossoming. So the only interesting we see are in the greenhouse area. They do have quite a variety of plant species from all over the world. And I'm sure the place would have been beautiful during the warmer month. But we will have to come back and see it again for ourselves.

Stunning! The pictures don’t do its justice. We went during summer and bought tickets prior to save yourself from standing in line. In the front gate they have bathrooms and little stands to by snacks and drinks. Be prepared to walk but absolutely a beautiful experience

A struggle for the disabled. The lanterns on the water were wonderful but the walk was much longer then thought to get to it.
The path in the Chinese garden is a lot of broken up large stones with large cracks between them. Very nice to look at but for someone disabled they are a tough to walk on. The low lighting also makes it hard to choose your footing. I personally have weak ankles and on a good day do not need a cane, but during this walk I rolled my ankle. It wouldn’t be bad if the large gaps had not also caused me to stab a rock into the side of the foot. I feel like there also could have been some sitting areas, like benches, for people to have a rest after a long walk or to admire the beauty of the garden.
There is very little going on during this walk till the Chinese garden. Some mini light shows in the trees but beyond that it was a lot for just one area.
When leaving I found the disabled door out locked. I am unsure if I had to call someone to come open it but getting through the turning gate was a bit hard..
If I was more prepared and knew if there was a way to go right to the lights maybe it would of been easier on me. Maybe. But it was still very magical despite all the pain.

My boyfriend and I recently attended the Night Light Show at the Botanical Garden of Montreal, and it was nothing short of magical. This annual event is a mesmerizing journey through different cultures illuminated by a stunning play of light and botanical wonders.
The beauty of the displays was absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic evening, and we found ourselves completely enchanted by the ambiance.
One of the standout features of this experience is its affordability, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors. Additionally, the ample on-site parking is a rarity in Montreal and was greatly appreciated.
We also took the opportunity to explore the Botanical Garden before Night Fall, and it’s like wandering through an outdoor museum. This year, the focus was on Chinese and native cultures, accompanied by a quick history lesson about the indigenous nations that inhabited Quebec, especially Montreal, before colonization. The incorporation of chants, light shows, smoke effects, music, and special effects added a layer of depth to the experience.
I can’t recommend this event enough. It’s a truly unique and memorable way to spend an evening. Make sure to visit the garden before nightfall to fully appreciate the wonder that is the Night Light Show. Don’t miss out on this breathtaking experience! 🌌🌿🌟

Old Montreal is a historic district dating back to the 17th century, characterized by narrow cobblestone streets that are lined with charming shops, cafes, and lively plazas. The area boasts several landmarks such as Notre-Dame Basilica - a stunning Gothic Revival church and the Pointe-à-Callière museum showcasing archeological ruins of the city. Old Port of Montreal along St.
In the heart of Montreal stands the Notre-Dame Basilica, a stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture. With its colorful and dramatic interior, it regularly hosts musical events with the main concert on Christmas being particularly popular. At 300 yards long and 118 feet wide, it's one of the world's largest churches.
During COVID times, as with everything else, advanced reservations were required to enter. Purchased tickets for the light show here. It is one of the top ten greatest experiences I've ever had. The animations and accompanying music was absolutely breathtaking. After the show, the house lights came on and we were able to view the basilica in its natural splendor. A site not to be missed

It is the most beautiful church i have ever been to. The area is huge and the interior is so pretty. The statues and paintings all have history behind it. It was nice to know the our past is preserved in such an honourable way. The upper area was closed at the time. But the front alone is gigantic. You can sit there for hours and feel the serenity.

Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal is a masterpiece of architecture and art! The interior of the church is one of the most dramatic in North America if not the world! The deep blue color of the vaults is probably the most eye catching parts of the entire church. The church is also decorated with a series of beautiful paintings and hundreds of wooden carvings. The stained glass windows give a religious history of the foundation of Montreal. Don't overlook the spiral stairs in the church either. Topping it off is the gigantic pipe organ in the back of the church.
The building is definitely a must see however, a few things could be be changed. If you pay for a ticket you are not allowed in the second or third balcony of the church. There is a lot of great art up there that is hard to see from the floor level. Perhaps, the church could find someway to allow people access to these areas. Also, I don't know if they have guided tours but they wouldn't be a bad idea.
This place is a must see if you're in Montreal!

It was just superb and breathtaking. It was huge and made fantastic. There is ticket entry for visitors. You can buy it online before hand to save some time. Car parking is available on the street as well as there is public parking in just opposite to this. You can do prayer. There is separate chamber as well for prayer which is not allowed for visitors. Very well maintained.

This is a little bit of Europe right at home in Canada.. was honestly very impressed with how nice and ornate it was, definitely has the same or better grandeur than most European basilicas. The craftsmanship is incredible. Also they have quite clean and functional bathrooms which is a nice touch. There are some areas that are prayer only so photos should be avoided, and take off hats out of respect.
I also lost my wallet inside somewhere.. came back and asked.. they didn't know.. so I went searching and eventually one of the people working there came running for me and they found it! I was and am so genuinely thankful and grateful.
My only constructive criticisms are that for $15 per person the amount you get to see seemed limited.. it would be incredible if you could access upper levels. Also the gift shop was inexplicably closed which was sad!

While it’s truly magnificent from the outside, it will not be a complete experience without checking it from the inside! The interior is so stunning it will take your breath away. I wish I had the chance to see the Aura show but I will make sure to do so the next time we visit Montreal.

This is a beautiful cathedral, not as big as Notre Dame in Paris though, but having the same lines, stained windows etc as you find in all the major cathedrals in France, Germany etc - a stated elegance, not enrobed in lots of details as you find in the Portuguese and some Italian or Spanish cathedrals.
There was a small queue when we arrived here mid September and we had to pay the entry fee of 18 CAD (I think).
All the distances in this part of the town are very small and everything is a nice walk. This area reminds me a lot of many European cities, however downtown Quebec City is more on par with the gorgeous little historic places like Venice and Seville

It's definitely worth it. It's mesmerizing.
It's truly worthwhile – a captivating experience! For an additional $15, you can ascend upstairs and sit right in front of where a pianist performs the church's music, creating a fantastic experience. This performance occurs twice daily; I attended the 1:30 pm show. The surrounding neighborhood is also a delight to explore.

The Notre-Dame Basilica is a must visited place if you are exploring Montreal, Canada. You can order tickets online in advance so you don't have to stay in lines to purchase tickets at the entrance. They also have AURA experience (dynamic lights orchestral music) shows at 6pm on most of the days.
As you step inside, prepare to be awestruck by the intricate details that adorn the interior. Walk through the nave, the aisles, and gaze upon the stained glass windows. Admire the carved, painted, and gilded artwork, including delicate gold leaf embellishments.

Recommended for visitors to Montreal, it's really beautiful. Light show shows need to buy tickets in advance of the website, half an hour in advance to line up, so it is easier to find the right seat to enjoy the performance. Second time to the Basilica for the Aura experience. Absolutely fantastic! Best sound and light show I have ever been to. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show starting but please note this includes the time to walk around the Basilica to see the illuminated stations. It was recommended that you find your seats first as it is general admission and then one person stays back to save your seats while the others look at the stations and then you switch. Washrooms are located outside the Basilica. If possible try to sit in the centre/centre of the Basilica for the best experience.

Beautiful basilica. Lots of stained glass, seating, candles, statues and paintings. Main church area is more for the tourists. Smaller area in the back for silent prayer. Amazing architecture and build centuries ago and still stands the test of time. You don’t need to be from the Christian faith to appreciate this marvel.
So serene, so quite so peaceful. You enter and you can feel the presence of divine power in this building. Spend some time here in peace and do some reflection of your own. What ever you believe in, you will feel better after as you reflect and all your thoughts will slowly running around.
Appreciate the architecture, the stained glass, the pews, the roof and all detailed work that has been done so long ago without the help of modern tools.

Mount Royal Park is a lush and colorful place located in Montreal. It features playgrounds, picnic sites, skating rinks, ski slopes, tennis courts, hiking trails, tobogganing hills and rowboating lakes. The park is huge and has something for everyone to enjoy.
A nice hike up. Quite challenging when the stairs are all covered in snow/frozen. Nevertheless, still a great place to walk around in. Saw a lot of people who were cross-country skiing, as well as people walking their dogs. The view would be nice in the evening, but I didn‘t wait for it😅

One of the most stunning urban parks around. I have visited this park in the dead of winter, as well as during the splendid summer, and it never ceases to amaze me how huge and fantastic the park is. The stairs can be treacherous in the winter, please wear appropriate footwear!
You can walk on nicely developed trails, or opt for more a more remote and wild variety; or you can opt to accelerate your ascent to the top by taking the stairs.
The view at the top is iconic, as is the cross on the other side of the mountain top.
The chateau at the top is also impressively large.
Try your best to see the city on a clear day, you can see as far as the mountains many miles away.
This park is so big that even when it’s busy, it is still quite tranquil.

It's a great place to go hiking in Montréal. There are many cool routes to explore and enjoy Nature. The landscape in autumn is different, but depending on the period you go, some paths will already be closed, as they begin to prepare the park for winter. I've been there in winter, and there are actually some paths that are dangerous to take, due to the risk of falls. If you follow the suggested route and wear appropriate clothing, you can enjoy all seasons. In each season it is as if you were in another park. The city is still beautiful seen from the top of Mont Royal. Remember that the temperature and thermal sensation is lower, and that it is usually windy there. And always carry water, there are not many points of sale available along the climb, depending on the route you take, water will be needed.

Zoo with many attractions such as an area for viewing animals from cars, a water park & shows.
Nice little spot to stop. Kids loved driving thru and seeing all the animals up close and far off. Getting up close and personal with the deer was also a nice touch. I can’t remember the food being anything special, so maybe bring your own and there was a spot at the end with some games for them to play.

It was just ok. The animals' cages/outdoor space were very small. It was a very hot and humid day and many animals did not have a proper cool off space. It was not a happy moment to see them lay off in the scorching heat. The park had issues with the waterpark tickets and couldn't print properly the tickets, which gave us problem when we wanted access. It was packed with people even though they apparently had limited spots. Overall a bad experience that reminded me why I don't like zoos

I will say this... I will give it 5 stars due to the interaction with the animals was highly decent. Humans tho... Honking at animals banging on the door of cars driving with kids out of sun roofs and jockeying for position... Or going off the road way into the exhibit on service rds... The food court was spacious shops were beautiful and the animals def were a wonderful. It seemed some of the park was closed or in disarray. Over all wonderful visit and def a happy time... There is a lot of driving to do (50 minutes drive from Montreal to the safari) then major traffic just to get pass the ticket booths which was about 30-50 minutes long then if you chose to do the safari adventure you can spend 40 minutes but it all depends on what time you get to parc safari

The Parc is a beautiful experience as it combines the wildlife area and safari and the water park. The safari itself was lovely in terms of seeing the animals but couldn’t feed any on the way. The kids enjoyed feeding the deers once back from the ride. The water park was great fun as it had slides and water activities truly suited for all ages.

A good experience especially for the kids to go on a safari in their own vehicle and to keep animals in close quarters. Best of all, you could fed them yourselves. This place also has a big food court as well as couple of restaurants for dine-in too. Parking is huge and so don't worry about that. Being just about 1 hr away from Montreal, this it a fantastic weekend getaway for a family with kids. Also there are lodging options inside there too during summer period as well as good water parks to cool down and hit the waters to escape the heat during the visit. Having a bush electric open safari vehicle is very commendable for the environment. Overall must recommend to visit this safari

A hidden gem for family fun! This wildlife haven offers an array of hobbies for all ages, especially my daughter. The chance to feed animals up close was unforgettable. The water park with thrilling slides added a splash of excitement. A word of advice: dedicate a full day to make the most of this fantastic experience!

Well worth the detour. My kids enjoyed feeding the animals, albeit temperamental. There were wapiti, watusi, zebras, ostriches, camels, and many others. My kids loved the giraffes the most, but those were not on the car circuit. We had to walk to them. The water park is worth the extra fee of you have kids who want to cool off after a visit to see the animals. Bring lettuce and shelled peanuts if you'd rather not buy them.

An amazing place to visit with your friends and family. It was a nice experience to feed the animals. Do not forget to buy the animal food before starting the Safari.
We went there in summers so it was super hot so stay hydrated and do not forget to bring your drinks.
It was crowded at the water park so we did not visit it. Though you have to reserve your spot for the water park.
The only negative point is the price which I think is too high for the place.
You can also visit our page on instagram - @chitrayukt to have a look at our experience.

First time back in 10+ years, the actual safari feeding is much less interesting. Very few animals to actually feed. Some cool ones to look at, but only the deer seem bold enough to approach the vehicle.
Overall quality of the animal experience is down, but the waterpark and splash pad have been improved. Definitely a good way to spend a day out of the house with kids. They'll enjoy it.

We took our grandson for his first vacation and picked this but we also picked the option of the cool box to sleep over in the park!
It was a very well organized and clean unit we had and a unique experience with some added perks with the visits to the animals!
We did not have the best weather during our visit so we did not get to enjoy the water park but it looked like a great spot !

Great for the family! This park also has a waterpark attached to it, which was pretty cool and well-placed. There are food options there, along with sweet treats to keep you cool and a water refill point by the restrooms. Gift shops are available as well. We had a blast!

Great family trip. I just wish all the pools were open. It looked like there was lots of work being done on the enclosures, so the animals didn't have lots of room. Hopefully, it will be new and nice for them soon! Love being able to feed the giraffe and deer.
Natalie Nagasar — Google review
Pretty nice place! The animals are really pretty and amazing to see upclose. You need a lot of patience and food for the best experience. You would also need to do it several times to see most animals. Renting a coolbox to stay overnight and have more exclusive activities is a good service they offer. The water parc is pretty atrocious tho…be warned:/. Food is lackluster… just regular fast-food food… not great fast-food food…
Manolie Côté (Binou) — Google review
The ticket prices are a bit expensive but it was an excellent experience, especially for the family trip I think. You can bring some vegetable leaves which you can have more chances to feed them but you can buy some there. And it’d be nice to use the map and prepare a bit earlier for you kids because the introductions of each animal isn’t much.

Nice zoo with aquatic parcks and swimming pools. The time is defined to start late if you want to do the tour with your car otherwise you have to pay 6$/ person for the truck with the bus which good. Also you can feed animals.

Awesome natural wonder! We stopped by in April so the attraction wasn’t fully open. We did the hike and it was amazing. Very cool how you can take a trail down onto the chasm and walk inside it.
There seemed to be a lot more to do in season but just the hike itself was really cool.
Definitely worth the trip!!

Loved the adventure! We visited this beautiful attraction on a weekend away. We did the adventure trail which was a fun, at times a little scary, adventure. Our guide Alex was outstanding. She was there to guide us through some of the more challenging parts of the adventure trail. My husband is 65 and I am 62 and we had no problem completing the course however we are both very active in our normal lives. The views are incredible. The boat float was fun and rim trail back from the boat float had beautiful views of the chasm. There are several choices of activities based on your comfort level at the chasm. Hope to be back again to do it all over!

Awesome,
We drove for about 5 hours from New York City to see this marvelous geological formation.
It is early May so there were not a lot of people.
I'd recommend for you to come early, and bring some water.
At this time (before Memorial day) many activities were not available but as the staff explained the waters are too cold and rough.
The hike was easy although for some the steps could be a challenge. Almost all trails are covered with gravel and easy to walk.
Kids friendly,
No pets.
Friendly and very helpful staff (now we know the difference between Glen and Chasm)
We'd love to go back and try the boat ride and some of the rock climbing.
Have fun and be safe!

We bought classic combo, it’s $49.99 per person. The whole park is great, beautiful views and well maintained. The working staffs are professional and nice.
The rafting part is fun and with beautiful views, but waiting time for boarding is kind long, we wait like 20+ mins due to the short of rafting boats and staffs in that day
Good experience overall , nice place and worth to visit. But still, $50 per person kind bit expensive. But it’s in NY, guess everything gonna come with fees and not cheap.

We had a great day out! Such a lovely way to spend a few hours in upstate NY. Very interesting place with a very interesting history. Our rafting guide Hayden was so knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a great tour down the river! Highly recommend.

What a great experience! It was wonderful to see the breathtaking views and the boat ride tour guide was entertaining as well. You can walk different trails, at different difficulty levels. Very beautiful scenery. They have a little shop and a room dedicated to Seneca Ray Stoddard's Adirondack images. Very cool.

This place is totally worth a visit if you are in the area. The sights are GORGEOUS. I went back in June 2021 with my friend and we went through the rock climbing trail. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I got stuck on the last crossing. It was a hot day and my energy was gone. I started having a bit of a panic attack about getting across and they 100% addressed it professionally. They calmed me down, helped me get across, and never made me feel self conscious despite me apologizing a few times. I would go again (maybe not the climbing trail but definitely the hike) and I made sure to track down a manager to let them know they have great guides. This place is a must see if you get the chance. The scenery is so beautiful.

So much fun!! There is a lot of stuff to do, whether you want to hike on land, go tubing in the water, or go over bridges in the air on the Adventure Trail. The guides are knowledgeable about the chasm and share a lot of interesting info. It's a great place to go for a weekend with family and friends and explore all the activities it has to offer. The cafe doesn't have a ton of options, so I recommend bringing snacks with you and enjoying local food options in the area.
Chloe Landau — Google review
The walk through the chasm is very cool. The yellow trail is easy and covered with wood chips. The orange trail to see the two dry chasms may be tricky for people who aren't so agile but is fun to do. We chose the classic package who h got us the hike and raft ride. We chose to raft instead of take tubes. Your feet will get soaked on the raft ride so you may want to take your shoes off and hold them during the ride. There's only one small set of rapids that everyone will love.
Chris Parker — Google review
I got the premium package. They we were there the water was extremely calm so the white water rafting was more of a lazy pool. Beautiful sights and great guides. The adventure trail is a lot of fun even if you are a pro at rock climbing or hiking. Guide is always with you.
Leo Redko — Google review
We have small children(under 8) and could only do the raft and trails. The trails were fun to hike through. The raft was a lot of fun going through the rapids and learning about the history. I highly suggest you go early on a hot day. We went at peak time(1pm) and waited 1.5 hours to get on the raft. Since we were camping at the campground, we could come back and use the trails. We went and hiked the rest of the trails. I highly recommend the orange trail. The kids loved it!

We had a nice time. I recommend going early to escape crowds if you plan on going on the raft. Some awesome sights to look at. There was a Cafe with some live music playing and a little gift shop there. We had to wear helmets for a small portion of our tour and boy did they smell funky. So did the life jackets PHEW... they should spray them with something 🤮 my shoes got completely submerged on the raft just so you know wear water shoes or something so you don't ruin your shoes!

Beautiful landscapes. A spectacular display of ancient earth bound splendor. Take a walking stick, map, and set out on an adventure that only mother Earth can provide. Great for kids and a ton of activities when the season opens.

Place closes at 4. It was flooded from winter ice melting does not making it look not that nice. Ample parking space and area. They say the trail is really beautiful
Nico Samneil Salado — Google review
We did the adventure trail + tubing. It costed us 75$ per person. Adventure trail requires you to have proper footwear whereas in tubing/rafting you'll have to get your feet wet. So it's a lose-lose scenario. But I'd recommend both if you haven't done anything of that sort before ever. We went there on 3rd of July at around 1pm and there was no wait at all. The guides are super friendly and also super strict with the rules (esp with the hooking /unhooking in the adventure trail)

I brought my family of 4 here and we decided to take the brief tour in the chasm and a tube ride down the Ausable River through some rapids. The chasm is a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. I do wish the tour was a little more informative. It was empty when we went which was great because we could take out time taking photos. Can't wait to go again.
Michael Short — Google review
Such a remarkable place to see! If you go, you need to take the "Yellow" trail.! That will bring you down into the chasm. (Those are the pics you see) It is a bit more of a strenuous hike, but it's well worth it if you have the ability to do it. Lots of stairs and a few steep inclines. We did not traverse the ropes course, only because we didn't have the time. But if and when we go back, it will be something I will try. The "Green" trail is a very easy trail that only walks along the top if the chasm. Not much to see, hence no pictures... The fee is $20 per person to walk any trails you want. They do give free ticket to Veterans like myself, as well as a discount on the rest of the party. *You must show a VA card or ID. The wait was about 20 minutes to stand on line to wait to buy a ticket....strange, I guess. But it gives you an opportunity to browse through the shop and find some cool trinkets to bring home.
I would definitely say do not pass by without taking a look at this place. You will not regret the experience, but you will regret having never seen it for yourself!

Great natural site. Tour guides were friendly. I went in late September so it was not crowded. The price was more than I was happy to pay for admission into a park. There were other smaller interesting trails, the dry chasm trail was great! It's worth the visit for all levels and ages, unless, say you've climbed Denali etc lol
Daniel Blythe — Google review
A must visit!
We went there in December. It was cold but not icy. They were selling traction at the entrance. I wish they provided those for free for the trail. There is a gift shop at the entrance. You have to pay about 19 bucks for an entrance fee.
Rainbow Falls is the main attraction. You can see this waterfall from the road. If you just want to see the waterfall then no need to buy a ticket. The view from the bridge is splendid.
If you want to trek along the chasm, then pay the entrance fee and start the trek. You will first see the elephant head. After this you see the Rainbow Falls from the bridge. Then you go through a gate where they check your wrist bands. There are three trails.
The yellow trail was closed as it goes very close to the river and there was high water. It was also damaged at spots and that is why they had closed it. If this was open then it would be a great trail to walk on. It has several small bridges. It did feel a bit dangerous though too. Probably not recommended for kids.
We did the green trail. It goes almost parallel to the yellow trail but on a higher ground and feels much safer. It is also very beautiful with several viewing points along the way.
There is also an orange trail. It goes through the woods mostly. You can do this on the way back.
Be careful with your phone while taking pics. I was always scared of dropping it in the chasm. We also heard ice falling off from the rocks into the river. It was scary and fun at the same time.
Starting July 4th weekend you can also do river tubing and rafting. We are definitely coming back then.
It took us about 2 hrs to do the trek. We enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend doing the trek, especially during winter. It is just beautiful. The drive is also beautiful. A must visit.

"Visiting Ausable Chasm was an unforgettable experience! From the breathtaking views of the rugged cliffs to the mesmerizing sound of the rushing waters below, every moment felt like a journey into nature's grandeur. The guided tour was informative, offering fascinating insights into the chasm's geological history and ecological significance. The trails were well-maintained, allowing for easy exploration of this natural wonder. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Ausable Chasm is a must-visit destination that promises to leave you in awe of the beauty of our planet."

I bought the classic tour ticket and it was an amazing experience. I mean its so beautiful here. You get to see waterfalls, the river down below, close up view of the chasm, and you get to float down the river on a raft with a tour guide. Even though the walk is 1 mile, you could be spending up to 2 hours or more for pictures. I highly suggest going in the morning to beat the crowds later in the day. There are other more physical activities you can do, but I think the classic tour is suitable for everyone of all ages. If my 75 year old parents can walk it, you can too.

Beautiful place. No guided tours in the winter. Though you can hike three different trails that are easy. Will come back in the summer for rafting and the adventure trail!

Beautiful frozen place in the winter. You can see the chasm and waterfall from the road. Need a ticket to go inside and hike. Plenty of parking available.

Brace and pace yourself. Be smart about the trails. This attraction has rules and guidelines for a reason, follow them for your safety and others. Most importantly have fun like we did on our honeymoon!
Famous alpine destination with a winter sports area, plus driving & hiking routes to the summit.
It was beautiful even though we couldn’t go up driving to WhiteFace Mountain because the road was closed due to the snow but there were a lot of trails open to people that like to hike in the snow, we enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains and the sunrise. Highly recommend to visit this place and the nearby towns like Lake Placid.
Karina Loja — Google review
There's a toll road charging 20$ per person to drive up which i think is excessive for the entry. Apart from that the small but steep hike to the summit is well worth it. The views from the top are unparalleled.
Surabhi Singh — Google review
One of the best views from the top of the mountain. They charge some entry fees to reach to the top of the mountain. The roads are good. They did mention that we have to walk about half mile after parking the car. The walk was worth the views.

nice mountain. for a quick hike, very nice views from the top, if the weather is nice, a great place for lunch. this Saturday it was very windy and there were clouds. no views, but winter has started, and it is strong in the Adirondaks. the beginning of hiking is quite strong, about 3/4 mile steep, uphill. In winter, be sure to take micro spikes.!you can also get to the summit by car

We had a fabulous time in Placid, and the 1st day of skiing on Whiteface was a riot. We had a 50-degree day with beautiful spring skiing conditions right at the end of February. There is plenty of terrain for any skill-level skier. We felt pretty lucky to have had a day of skiing this nice as a family.
Zachary Schneider — Google review
Loved to watch Adirondack mountains from the summit here. It’s been 6 days and the memories and views still refresh me. The drive up mountain is a toll road of about 20 mins. $20 for vehicle plus driver and $20 for each additional passenger. There is a small hike from the parking at top to the summit which should not be missed. Did not use elevator and castle has only gift shop access. There was ongoing work on other side of the castle. Ticket includes price for both but did not add any value for us. I would consider hike up the mountain for a full experience.

Great views on top, pay $15 per person at the gate. Parking lot is at 4,500 ft from the sea level. Take elevator to the summit or walk/climb about ~500 ft on stairs and huge rocks. There are hand rails on both sides to help and protect.

A truly spectacular National park. The views are next level and the paved roads leading all the way to the top means you can choose whether to walk, bike or drive up! There’s also an elevator up to the peak, if you don’t feel like climbing up there (talk about convenience )! You can find plenty of picnic benches up there to have lunch, and there is a food vendor at the base of the summit if you want to grab food (there are also restrooms). My fiancé proposed to me up here and it was the perfect backdrop!

This is very beautiful mountain with nice scenic road, especially when you driving motorcycle. I've been there second time and always like it. It's a good idea to go there when you have a good clear day so you have a nice view. This time we went with tunnel and elevator up ,after that we came down on stairs and visit there gifts shopped on the bottom. Make sure when you go there you have good shoes for hiking and something warm if it's windy.

Well the drive was easy. The hike was about 20 minutes and a bit steep. It was colder and windy so be prepared. I do photography so I brought some gear up. I decided to keep it light since I knew about the hike to the top. The views are totally worth it unless you are afraid of heights…

This was my second time up Whiteface Mountain. First by bicycle 🚲, then by car for our last place to see before heading home. Unfortunately we had zero visibility due to the previous nights storm. Still a very good visit. The tunnel and elevator to the very top were open as well as Whiteface Mountain Castle. I would recommend getting the Olympic Legacy Pass. For two people $88 (1 senior 1 military), you can visit 4 venues.

Very cool and worth the trip if you are in the area. It's 20 per person, there is ample parking at the base. The tunnel access point is about halfway up the parking area at the base. You walk through a long tunnel to get to the elevator shaft. If you take the walkway up the rocks, it is safe, however, quite a bit steep and I wouldn't recommend the elderly or out of shape to do it. Rewarding, but challenging IMO. There is a hot dog truck with snacks and drinks at the base of it as well. The views are truly incredible. Well worth the fee in my opinion. The roads are in good shape and the whole factory is very clean. Some of the best views here, in all of NYS.

Beautiful place with nice view around the mountain with weather research station. you can be on top of the mountain either by Lift or by walk or either by trekking. Lift is busy with waiting around 20-30 minutes, you can go by walk ensure you have proper shoes to handle the rocky terrain. Or if you love more challenge you can trek one way approx 3 hours to reach the peak… Enough parking is available, you need to go all the way up and than take a U-turn to park. Have fun
Sajid — Google review
Beautiful spot. There are 2 ways to reach the summit from the parking area - take the stairs & then hike up the summit nature trail or walk through a long, stone-carved tunnel to reach an elevator. Keep in mind, that once the stairs end, you’ll be climbing over boulders to get to the summit. Also, be prepared for cooler temperatures & wind gusts.
Yamini Srivastava — Google review
Amazing place to Ski/Snowboard gondola line at the base might be a little lengthy but once u get up at the top all the lifts from their should only be like a max 10-15 min wait

Very busy and had a wait for parking keep that in mind when planning to visit. Took about an hour for me to get to a parking spot. But absolutely worth it love this hike on the mountain. Dog friendly! $20 for a vehicle to enter.
Megan Piper — Google review
It is a bit annoying to wait to get in (40 mins), pay $50 for three people in the car, and then 25 mins at the top to park. But in the end it is worth it because of the inspiring 360 degree views as far as the eye can see. We recommend hiking up from the castle, and taking the elevator down (as the line to take the elevator up is loooong, and wastes time. When at the top, walk over to the end on the rocks, the views are better.

There is an entrance fee at the entrance then a steep drive up to the parking at the top. There is a short climb to the castle at the summit where there is a small gift shop and cafe. There is a tunnel into the mountain to an elevator that goes to the top.
360 degree view from the top is great although is there isn't much to see.
The Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex is a popular tourist attraction that offers visitors the chance to experience what Olympic ski jumpers see. It features elevators and lifts that provide a panoramic view of the Adirondacks from atop the 120 Meter jump, which can be accessed via a catwalk. This unique experience is made even more special by the friendly and helpful staff who operate on holidays like Labor Day.
This was so cool. We took skyride to top. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Once you get off you walk to the 120 Meter jump. There's an elevator to take you to the top. Once up in jump you walk out onto a catwalk and you see where Olympians would go down the jump.
You have to be crazy to do this I have so much more respect for these skiers. It is amazing the height there actually going down.
Def visit here if your in area.

The Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jumping Complex is a great place to spend a few hours! The view from the top of the surrounding Adirondack Mountains is spectacular. On top of that you can see ski jumpers in action.
You can purchase tickets online and skip the lines inside. Once you have your ticket you can ride the gondola to the base of the ski jumping towers. From here there are platforms to watch the ski jumpers go down the jumps and fly off into the air.
After that you take an elevator ride to the top of the towers. From here you can look down and see what it’s like to be a ski jumper. The view from the starting point of the jump is amazing.
The views of the surrounding area at the base and top are both great. The staff was helpful and let everyone know where the best views were. It’s also amazing that you might see an Olympian or future Olympian walk right by when you’re here. A can’t miss in Lake Placid!

Awesome and awe inspiring to see how Olympic Ski Jumpers hone their craft! I don't consider myself afraid of heights, but looking down that ski jump in the windy open air gives you a new appreciation for the fear they must overcome!

Really cool place! It’s a nice experience to get to see what the athletes experience right before their jumps. The view from up there is stunning and makes great & memorable pictures! The staff on-site were all super friendly & welcoming. Plan about 45 minutes to one hour for the entire visit.

This was so fun. Even though it was a cool June day we were able to ride the gondola up the hill and then an elevator to the top of the big jump. This was a $20 for a ticket aged 13 and up. The cool thing is you can go up and down as much as you would like. If you want to watch from below you can without riding up, but the ride up is a great view. We got to see Olympic hopefuls practicing on this Saturday up close and personal. We even ride up with one young man, shout out to Duncan.
Dean Dykstra — Google review
This site was very impressive in person. Worth the trip to see. The gondola ride to the jumps was closed the day we visited so we had to drive a short distance down the road to see them up close. We were handed a sliver of paper with "directions," but they were incomplete. "Turn left at the top of the hill" does not explain that after you turn left, you will then turn right in about 200' and follow the road up to the parking lot. Nothing was marked, so we had to u-turn and take a chance making that right turn... as did others we spoke to. I say taking a chance because there were also long driveways along the road, and we weren't sure if we were turning onto a road or into someone's driveway. The 26-storey elevator ride up the jump was impressive, 37 seconds in duration, and very little wait time to go up or down. Very polite staff. Suitable for children. The lookout platforms on the jump are fenced in and have plexiglass also.

Excellent family visit on Labor day 2021. The elevator ride to the top of the "big slide" was open as well as the gift shop. Very unique experience to see what Olympic ski jumpers see. A big thank you to the workers who worked on a holiday so we could see this Lake Placid icon.

We stopped here on our way out of Lake Placid and only did it because people in town said we should. It turned out to be one of the best parts of the trip! The views on the top of the jumps were incredible and they even had kids practicing on the jumps that we were able to watch.

Amazing Olympic venue! You have to do the gondola ride and elevator to the top of the ski jump. I believe it's 26 stories tall. The views are incredible. The notion that people ski jump off of these ramps is crazy. We love our athletes. Go USA!!!

We had the Olympic Venue Passport, so took the tour. Henry, Tate and Evan lead it and did a great job explaining the jumping events, their differences and equipment. Took the gondola up and then elevator to the top of the jump take-off platform. Incredible views and respect for these athletes. At the end of the tour, Evan did an exhibition jump while we stood on the coaches deck.
We returned on Tuesday to watch 4 of the athletes have training jumps from 10-11:30. There were also younger kids doing aerial practice into the pool. Really cool experience at all of the venues. These guys need more support. They are self funded.

Very cool experience. Came in the summer so got to see kids training and jumping into the pool. Didn’t take the lift up to the top, didn’t feel it was worth the money. Got to see a better view at whiteface summit and spend the money on that.
But you can see these cool structures up close!

We went in the beginning of january on a Monday, right before their season starts, so we had the entire place to our selves. The views from the top of the jumps were breathtaking! It's worth the money for the views and photos, but probably not as exciting for kids at least in the off-season. It would have been awesome to see the skiers going down the jumps, but no crowds were great for photos. Also, the glass elevator going up to the top was an added bonus!

We went up to Lake Placid for the 2024 eclipse and I took my kids here for the gondola ride.
I didn't realize we could take the elevator up to the top of one of the ski jump ramps and climb up even further outside, so that was a cool surprise, because what a view!

We had a great visit to ski jump complex. We called ahead to find out when the ski jumping athletes were training and we were able go watch the them train from the beautiful viewing area at the bottom and from the top where we watched from the coaches platform. The staff at the ski jump complex (the woman behind the desk who helped us and the man at the top of the gondola) were the nicest orda employees we have encountered! They were super friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the experience of feeling how high these jumps are. Being able to stand just above the starting point of a jump was amazing. I would highly recommend buying the $20 ticket to ride the gondola and then the elevator to the top of the 128m jump. Pictures up there are wonderful as well. A great view of Whiteface mountain too.

Watching ski jumpers was an amazing experience to see in person. No entrance fees, friendly people, fun experience for a weekend getaway. I highly recommend going to see for yourself. Home of the Olympians.

This is free to go to. However it does cost if you do the sky ride up to the top where the skiers start their jump. Awesome views from top and definitely worth the money. The employees running the sky ride were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Will definitely come back when there is stuff going on in winter months.
Parc Omega is a natural park that offers visitors the chance to see wildlife up close, including First Nations totems. The park also features an eatery, as well as cabins and tipis for those who want to stay overnight. One popular attraction is the gated golf cart rental, which provides a fun way to explore the park while keeping animals away from cars.
Very nice Safari Park. You can see a variety of Canadian wildlife on a 12km self-drive safari. It is perfect for an activity with all family.
During your safari, you might see deer, elk, bison, caribou and other animals roaming in their natural habitats. You can pick up a bag of carrots at the entrance so you can feed some of the curious animals that come right up to your car. It is a very fun activity. I highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! We have been before but they have improved and added a lot since we were last there. If you don't want to take your car round you can rent a golf cart with a metal cage around to feed animals. Think its $275 +tax for the day. Gift shop has now moved to the farm area car park. If you have a spare $30 I recommend renting a golf cart to get from the car park to the farm. It's a trail through the woods and super fun! Love feeding the animals and FINALLY saw a moose! Lots of baby animals about too. This will always be our 1st place to take visitors. It is also slightly cheaper to buy tickets in advance. More food options than last time we were there but we packed a picnic and sat with deer.

Awesome safari-like park to visit with family. You can see along your path with the car many pigs, deers, etc. The latter do like to stick their nose into your window, asking for carrots. If you like feeding the deer and pigs , bring two-three bags of carrots (cut in two or three pieces). If there are not too many people in the park, the animals are very hungry. We spent about three hours in the park. Great attraction!

Best all day family fun. Pack a pic-nic, there are so many great places to set up and enjoy the nature.
We have done winter, summer and now planning a fall trip. They also have night walks.

This zoo is an amazing place to visit! 🦁🐵 They have a wide range of animals, including Bear, Moose, and Fox. The exhibits are well-designed and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for the animals. It's a great place to have a wild and memorable day!

Such a neat experience!! From the instant we cross that gate, the deer greeted use to eat the carrots we purchased at the park store. There are a few hikes along the way that have baby deer ready to feed from your hand. The wolf exhibit is also a must see!! Incredible experience our family won’t soon forget.

We stayed in the Wolf Lodge and it was absolutely amazing. The accomodations was 2 floors the bedroom and living room overlook the wolf enclosure. Everything was very very clean. It's comes with fridge, microwave, espresso machine. All the eating utensils and dishes you need. Pots pans etc. also a fire place in living room. The wolves can not go up to the glass at this lodge as they do have electric fence preventing them to do so. But still amazing to see them and wake up to them howling etc. the Park itself was pretty cool. It is completely over run with pigs and Elk so your car will get swarmed with both for quite a ways. Took about 3 hrs as we did stop at sector 11. For a bit. We will definitely come back during end of summer beginning of fall to see the other animals and activities

Booked the Bus tour in the morning and it was 100% worth it. Tour guide Clara and Bus driver Dominic were very friendly and informative. Got to learn a lot from them about the animals and their behaviors. The bus tour was about 3+ hours and the same is valid for the day pass. We were mainly there for the wolves and there were lots of them.
Some elks were demanding carrots(which we loved) and might scratch your car so beware if you are taking rental. I've been to a couple of animal park safari before but this one is my favorite.

Even though we went in one of the coldest days it was still amazing! The fun will depend on how much you love animals and would enjoy feeding them, for me it was a fairytale of a day.
There are so many activities I couldn't try and next time I want to explore all the beautiful trails for sure. In the cold we had to warm up in the car almost the whole trip. I'd say definitely plan your trip in accordance with the weather.

As an Ottawa resident, this is one of my favourite places to visit, as it is only about an hour drive from my home. Each time I go I have a brilliant time, and have never regretted making the journey here.
On our latest visit we bought four bags of carrots, which were quickly eaten by the animals. As this was the first time I went during the winter time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but to my happy surprise the park was still filled with animals! I love coming here and plan to come back.

This is a beautiful park, very big with many activities to do throughout the day. The workers are clearly very caring about their animals, which are very well treated. We slept in the pods, which are very comfortable and surrounded by dears. It is a whimsical experience totally worth the price! The workers are very devoted and helped us with car issues, they are very kind and gave an amazing service. We loved our stay there, and will definitely come back!

The perfect place to visit with your friends and family! You can drive through the park and feed the animals and park at a few spots to rest, walk around, eat lunch, and see a farm (you can go for free or rent a gold cart for around $30). You can also buy carrots for $4 at the boutiques, but you can bring your own!

We spent the night in the wolf cabin and we had the pleasure of seeing the entire pack of wolves sleeping under our window. In the morning they were roaming and they stopped by for pictures. The cabin was really comfortable, and clean. The park was amazing, driving through and being able to observe the animals in the different sections. We enjoyed the experience so much that we are trying to convince our friends to join us and rent the bigger cabin so that we all can have the same experience.

Great place to visit for the family! It’s more of a safari than a zoo wherein you drive around the park to see and interact with the animals!
We enjoyed the experience of feeding and even petting the deers!
Plan at least 3-4 hours to maximize your trip there. Definitely will come back!

My third time going here with my kids. Once we rented the gated golf cart, that was amazing. The kids especially loved it. I recommend you rent it in a warm day. Keeps the animals off the car and from getting damaged by accident from antlers.
We went in winter, fall and summer. All seasons are amazing. Avoid weekends as it gets super busy and cars don't follow standard of staying to the right for petting and left to pass. So you end up wasting lots of time waiting for others to move.
Note: being 2-3 bags of carrots. Don't give them away too fast! Later you have more animals.

A lovely place to spend the time with kids and see the wild animals in open areas. One can drive around, feed the animals carrot and other vegetables as liked by friendly animals. Tickets are slightly expensive, but one can imagine the upkeep of such place and all the animals. Kids love the drive around and had fun with animals. Great place. We had spend around 3-4 hours here, so plan the day accordingly.

Amazing experience.
Please buy carrots 🥕 before entering as we can feed the animals (not all animals, please read sign boards) - 1 bag $4 CAD - (august 2023)
My pictures will speak my experience. Deer , stag, fox , wolf , bison , black and cinnamon bear are few of the animals. There are farm animals which can be viewed with a free tractor ride.

This place was amazing. Great for kids and adults. They are very understanding and accommodating. I have at least one set of parent friends that I'll recommend come here. Be prepared to be off grid and enjoy some time disconnected. Next time, we'll try to book a wolf cabin!

WAY better than I ever imagined.
It’s like a car trail Through a mountainous nature trail with wild animals everywhere. And half way through there is a native village with food, markets, gift shop, fire pits, live music and more deer domestically wandering around you.
You can’t beat this. I’d say it’s one of the best tourist experiences I’ve had in Canada.

It was really a fun experience. Animals are very interactive. Staffs are very helpful and gives really good info. Too bad we didn't see the bears since they are wintering. Overall, very nice place to go to. We love it. Plus they have a really good beaver's tail.

The park was really nice to see in winter. Don't believe everything the ticket seller say. They don't know much. The ticket seller told us that there is no horse ride. But there was and we missed it because of wrong information given by the front desk. Always double check in the information centre. Buy your own carrots from superstore. They sell 4 dollars for each bag of carrots. I think you can get it cheaper in superstores. It's a fun activity for kids. Bears are not available in winter. The wolf feeding was in French. They didn't explain it in English. There was no snow tubing, skating. It wasn't mentioned in website. There is no way to call them through telephone to double check which was very inconvenient.

Our recent visit to Omega Park was nothing short of magical, earning a well-deserved five stars from our family! From the moment we entered, we were whisked away into a world where nature and wildlife coexist in harmony, offering us a unique and educational experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to feed the wildlife with carrots we bought at the park. This hands-on experience was not only fun but also incredibly heartwarming. Watching the animals come up close, seeing the excitement in my children’s eyes, and having the chance to interact with the wildlife in such a personal and respectful manner was truly unforgettable.
The park is immaculately maintained, with clear signage and plenty of information about the various animals and their habitats. It’s evident that the welfare of the animals and the education of visitors are top priorities. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share stories and facts that enhanced our visit.
I recommend Omega Park wholeheartedly to families and anyone looking for something different to do. It’s not just a trip to a wildlife park; it’s an adventure that educates, delights, and leaves you with lasting memories. Whether you’re an animal lover, a nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique way to spend a day, Omega Park is a must-visit destination that will exceed your expectations.

Omega Park is a wonderful destination for families seeking a memorable outdoor adventure. I visited the park in 2019 with my family and we were thoroughly impressed by the experience it offered.
The park's main draw is its drive-through animal safari, where visitors can see a variety of wildlife up close in their natural habitat. From majestic bison to playful deer, the park is home to a diverse range of animals that will captivate both kids and adults alike.
Apart from the safari, Omega Park offers a range of activities that cater to visitors of all ages. There are walking trails, picnic areas, and even a petting zoo where children can interact with friendly farm animals.
One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to feed the animals. The park provides specially formulated food pellets that you can purchase to feed the animals along the safari route, creating a memorable and interactive experience.
Overall, Omega Park is a fantastic destination for families looking to connect with nature and wildlife. The park's beautiful setting, diverse animal population, and range of activities make it a must-visit for anyone traveling in the area.

I had a lot of fun at this attraction! Seeing all of the animals up close and feeding them was an amazing experience. It was also nice to see the amount of freedom and space they had to roam around. It definitely looks like they’re well taken care of. The area called “Land of the Pioneers” had cute little cafes to stop and get something to eat/drink. The wolf observatory was a short walk to from the land of the pioneers and it was nice to see the wolves so close. A little tip when you’re visiting, break your carrots into 2-3 pieces so that the animals can eat it properly and you have more carrots to feed them.

Make sure you bring carrots 🥕 with you. Probably 3-4 pounds. Also try to go early in the morning as soon as the park open. Because animals are hungry 😋 after sleeping all night. If you go mid day, they have been already got fed by other people. You won’t be able to enjoy 😉 much feeding them during this time.

Loved every bit about this park. From the deers that roamed freely around our pod (if you staying on the camp site). To the cozy pod itself that was complete in amenities, including hot water kettle for hot chocolate on cold winter day and picnic table outside if you want to eat outside. To the free roaming animals inside the park in your car - some animals you get to feed while others you can't. Plenty to see. To zone 11 where kids can play and release some energy....tree top paths, animal farm, wolf lookout zone, snack bar/souvenir shop, to horse drawn carriage to the parking lot. We stayed for 3 days and had fun every single day from morning to night. Plenty of things to do. Plus a wonderful restaurant that serves breakfast / lunch and selected dinner nights during March Break period. Food was good too. So that's a bonus.

What an amazing experience to be so close to the wolves. We rented the wolf cabin for one night and everything was perfect! Lovely cabin ,very well equipped full kitchen fireplace, simply beautiful!! I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature, peacefulness, and beauty!! We will definitely be back to recreate this wonderful little getaway ❤️❤️
Live animals, hands-on exhibits & forest trails connect guests with the Adirondacks.
This place is amazing for all ages. So much to do. The trails through the forest are well groomed. The trail with speakers that are playing instrumental music is a really cool idea. The wild walk where you are up in the tree tops gives you a very beautiful view, especially in the fall during peak. I will definitely go back and have already suggested this destination to many friends.

Definitely a cool place to visit with some great things to see both indoors and out. They had some real nice trails leading down to the water where you’d swear you were the only people for 100 miles. My only disappointment was all the empty bird feeders along the trails so we saw very little wildlife. There were many feeding stations but they were all empty. The high catwalk thing was cool and has some nice viewing points. We saw a couple of squirrels and a few ducks but no other birds or wildlife which was disappointing.

I liked this place alot. It has some trails to walk and see a river. The walkway to the "bird's nest" is not too long and there are some bridges in between the decks that you can cross. This is a great place to take children. The museum area was filled with fun educational information. We got to see otters and other creatures that live in the water. We also had the chance to see an owl. There's a snack bar and an area outside where you can sit, eat & enjoy nature. I am glad I went . Highly recommended!

I have wanted to go here for years and it did not disappoint! There are very informative indoor exhibits that are hands on and very interesting to look at and learn about. There are also some hiking trails with lovely views of the river and also an outdoor playground made of only natural things like hollowed out trees. The thing I was most excited about though was the Wild Walk. It is a lot of fun! The spider web is fun to play on, even for adults. Going up to the eagle's nest gives you awesome views of the area. Down below it tells you which mountains you are looking at from all sides. There is also a giant hollowed out tree to go through and several walkways and bridges. We all had a great time and I would highly recommend it!

We recently visited with our 4 year old and had a great time! Great mix of indoor and outdoor activities, and we easily spent the whole day there. The highlight for my daughter was the spider web! Took off a star as I wish they didn't have animals held in captivity.

We had lot of fun as two adults. I didn't have enough time to do everything I wanted; I would recommend going more than once if you want to see and do everything. The staff is very knowledgeable, especially in the animal encounter events. I would recommend going on a weekday if you want it to be a bit quieter- there were a lot of people there and at points it got really bothersome.
The food was good! The prepackaged food was very reasonably priced (cheaper than gas station prices). For the cooked food, I paid $5 for a cup of chili and $7 for a wrap, which is about what you pay when you go somewhere like a convience store. I would recommend it- I liked the food a lot! They just didn't have a huge selection.
All in all if you like nature and the Adirondacks, you should go if you're in the area. If you live in the area and you haven't gone yet, what are you waiting for?

So much fun! We took our 1 year old and he was able to walk around and explore. He had a blast and so did us adults. Indoor exhibits from animals, and ecosystems to agriculture and more. Outdoor trails and the wild walk trail were well kept. The spider web was a big hit for the kids. Great attraction for families.

Lovely spot to visit. The inside exhibits were very nice & I'm sure more interactive when it's not a pandemic. Outdoors was the best, though. The Treehouse & walkway are absolutely amazing. The walk to the river is easy & worth the short hike. The musical/sculptural exhibit in the woods was magical - even in the rain. Wish I had been able to see the otters, but animals are finicky. Worth the drive.

We had the best time at The Wild Center! We were a groups of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 1-6 and there was something to keep them all engaged. We explored everything we possibly could and spent hours there! Staff were all extremely friendly and offered to answer any questions when they passed by. We were excited to see the otters and enjoyed the outdoor play areas. The spider web could use some repairs, otherwise everything was great!

What an incredible museum! The habitat exhibits are so cool for kids (and big kids) to prowl around in, but I was particularly impressed with the dedication to making the entire space interactive. The observation hive was especially cool to see, and despite being a grown man, I stuffed myself in the otter observation log like a 5 year old (The otters obliged me and came over to say hello).

This place was sooo cool!! Went with an adult group of friends at night for The Wild Walk (day before New Years Eve). A lighted walk through the trails and the museum center was open to see the exhibits as well. First let me say I have visited plenty of eco-centers, natural history museums and zoo’s and this site has it all. It was perfect for families and friends off all ages. We saw young families, active adults, and family with teens and it seemed to be enjoyed at all levels (of course if you’re not into nature, it might not be your thing…. But it could also be the place that converts you to a nature lover). The displays were very interactive and could be enjoyed by all levels. The animal and plant exhibit were extremely well done. Trails and walkways were great for all levels and plenty of fun things for kids from 1-89 😊 to enjoy. Can’t wait to go back in the summer or fall during the day light hours to enjoy some of the longer trails.

Awesome place to hang out with the family... it's so educational and entertaining. We enjoyed the boat ride & the horse wagon ride. The musical show was really entertaining. The 4 ladies did an awesome job. Don't miss the activity center where you can try some traditional games and try out the classic costumes. It's probably not possible to see everything in a day with small kids, so we will be going back to check out the places we missed. Be prepared to walk a lot. Overall, it is highly recommended, especially for kids, to learn about how things were without electronics.

So many antique pieces of furniture, clocks cutlery etc. It is very family friendly and it would take you the whole day to visit. The train wasn't operating this time, could be maintenance but we were so happy with the wagon ride on the horses and the ferry. Huge waterfront on the St. Lawrence River!!! You will be able to pet the horses and see cows and a demonstration of making bread from scratch in the bakery and how the antique chainsaw mill works as well as so many crafts of the time. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and patient answering all the questions with a smile on their face! Many rustic buildings, old church, school, seamstress and doctor's house, the post office, the old shop, the hall and many others... Parking and washroom available, stroller friendly and there is a store where you can buy souvenirs and freshly baked whole wheat bread. 1h15 minutes drive from Ottawa. I hadn't visited Upper Canada Village since I was in grade school, and it was such a welcome surprise to have such a beautiful and immersive experience. We've visited as a family about three times in the past month and a half.
The costumed interpreters are always friendly and inviting, not to mention an absolute wealth of knowledge. It seemed every time we visited there was a special event or programs running that really brings the village to life.
We've had the privilege to experience a musical weekend where we saw and heard performers sharing music from the era they depict; 1860's. As well as the Fall Fair weekend, with more animals, food and fun than any usual operational day. And finally, we saw for the first time; the mind boggling experience of Pumpkin Inferno. Thousands of carved and lighted foam pumpkins, and plenty of real ones too; musical light displays, multiple photo ops and hot chocolate and treats make this family friendly event unforgettable!! Learning about the history of early Canada has never been so much fun.

Definitely a fan! Went several times with friends, family, and even the family dog, this place never disappoints! Last event was for the Pumpkin Inferno show (after dusk show), absolutely brilliant! We were lucky, the weather was perfect, mild and dry as this is an event that takes place rain or shine. The exhibitions are awesome. You cannot miss your entry time but after that you can visit the place at your own pace. Warmly recommended!

We have visited a few times as a family and each time has been really enjoyable and special. Both Summer and Winter events are worth checking out, but be sure to dress accordingly! We were thankful for every mitten and hat on our last visit during the Alight at Night event.
The train was a lot of fun for our toddler, lots to do, and lots to see!
Also, try the cheddar. So worth it. If you're able, try the bread too! I can't vouch for taste (since I'm celiac), but it smelled like the most perfect loaf of heaven.

Had a wonderful time with the family at Upper Canada Village. Lots to explore and transport yourself back to life in the 1800's. Interpreters were fantastic and very knowledgeable. you can take a boat ride to the far end of the property and then walk back as you explore all the village has to offer. There is a activity room where children can dress up in period clothing, play games and do a craft. Fresh bread is baked twice daily, 11 and 2 (it sells out fast). The train ride is an additional fee to the entrance ticket but worth adding on especially if you have children. I was very impressed that the train ride had a wheelchair accessible car at the front.

Excellent little village and a great representation of the era. I was most impressed with the fully functional wood mill. Powered with water and mid 1800s technology they can mill large logs into useable lumber.
There is also a boat you can take that is horse drawn on a river, visit the bake shop and buy warm bread made the 19th century way.
Most buildings have active demonstrations including the blacksmith, highly recommend this, very knowledgeable people here who know the roles they are representing.

Had a beautiful family time; going back to the 1800's. It was so interesting to see the technology from back in the day and learn about how different elements were transported to the current location. All the staff were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable! They are the reason our visit was extremely worth every minute we spent.
The most interesting things for us were the Fire Station and the Cook's Tavern- has some hilarious posters you won't want to miss.
I was particularly impressed by the Chrysler Hall, where there's a section dedicated to recognizing Black Canadians. There are a few options to treat yourself to, including Beavertails.

Excellent experience. A light Anight is amazing. Beautifully done. With the new ticketing method it is so easy to get in. Parking is plentiful.
Small food places for hot beverages and washrooms in good places.
Easily wheelchair accessible.
Takes about 40 to 60 minutes to take it all in. Longer is you stop in the children's section and partake games.

We had an amazing time there! If you plan on going, don't just allow 1-2 hours, you can really spend the entire day there. There is so much to see, and the people working there are wonderful and they know all about their subject! You can see they are passionate and willing to share with the visitors. Bonus points too for the eco side of it! A lot of things run on water, and the flour they do in the mill is used for their bread, which you can buy at the gift shop! The site is clean, there are many activities to do, we will certainly go back to experience it fully again!
This national natural history museum is home to more than 14.6 million specimens and has played a major role in Canada's scientific research program. It is also a patron of various science research programs across the country.
Just visited and they have their “Under the Canopy” special exhibit on right now - the kids loved it. We usually spend an entire day here, even though we’ve been multiple times. Lots to see and do on each level (including the movie that is included with admission - English on the hour and French every half hour). It’s also great that the Cafe is open again as we were able to grab some sandwiches and salads for lunch (they replenish food throughout the day, so if it looks like they’re out, they generally get more later). Such a great museum!

This place is so huge, with so many things to explore that you can easily spend 4 hours there or more.
clean, beautiful, up to date.
There are lots of interesting knowledge filled things to view and read about.
Terrific place for kids: there are interactive stations everywhere... not just computers, but also a binocular station in the bird area, turtle viewers for jellyfish vs plastic bags, touching water creature station, real ice sculpture to walk through and touch.
The staff are so approachable and so helpful. They actually like to help and do so with a smile.
To add to its many amazing features, its also free every Thursday after 5.
Memberships are available and a good deal if you plan to come at least 3 times in the year but keep in mind that will not include parking fees.also you may receive a discount if you're an ingenium pass holder.
I will definitely recommend visiting it.

If you’re in Ottawa you should definitely visit this place.
Amazing collage of history and nature all under one roof
Not to be missed.
You can easily spend 2-3 hours here exploring each floor and each exhibition.
I would recommend going on Thursdays as evenings are free including parking. 5pm-8pm.

Awesome. We didn't have time to do it all, but will absolutely be back. Price is great, place is super clean. Very friendly staff. Knowledgeable staff at the area to feel the star fish. We very much enjoyed each exhibit. Thank you...and see you again soon. Oh the building is very beautiful too.

I had never been to a museum before and I'm so glad this was my first opportunity. This is the best place and it's packed full of information. I loved all the displays and my most favourite was the mammals. They have a breastfeeding room complete with a changing station. It's very hard to find that now a days, the staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Thank you!!!

The Museum of Nature is an incredible place to explore and learn about the natural world. The exhibits are well-designed and informative, with interactive displays that engage visitors of all ages. The highlight for me was the dinosaur exhibit, which features life-sized models and fossils that transport you back in time to the age of these magnificent creatures.
The museum also has a great collection of specimens from around the world, including rare and exotic animals.
The staff at the museum are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to answer questions and provide additional information about the exhibits. The gift shop is also worth checking out, with a wide range of nature-themed souvenirs and educational toys.
Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Museum of Nature for anyone interested in science or nature. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or even a whole day exploring and learning about our amazing

This is by far the coolest museum in Ottawa.
Probably should have gone during the week, as the place was packed. Doesn't matter though, it was still such an incredible place. Spent over 3 hours wandering the exhibits and was happy to see some of them from childhood are still there!
The building itself is worth the price of admission and take the time to check out the displays on the history of the building at each level of the great lantern.

Wow, what an amazing building, the architecture of the place is stunning. We came back at night to take some night photos.
The good: The price was reasonable for an attraction that realistically would take you an entire day to really take in. The exhibits were interesting and unique. We really enjoyed the Arctic exhibit with the ice presentation that you could interact with. The Owls exhibit was amazing too. We enjoyed everything we looked at.
The bad: Some exhibits had pieces out of order. Their beverage selection in the cafe was meh. We parked at the public parking at the police station area behind the museum as it was the cheapest option.

Well worth it, adults and kids will have a great time. They had live animals and lots of cool displays. The historic building itself was worth visiting. For the people that might think museums are boring not this one. Got a cafeteria and everything is clean. We know for sure we will be coming back during winter season.

Thursday evenings are a win at this spot – no entrance fee from 5-8 pm! It's a 3-story gem, each level diving deep into specific topics. Don't skip the underground insect museum – it's well-designed and seriously informative, especially fun for the kiddos. Heads up, Thursdays are kid-central, but hey, free entrance! Loads of bathrooms and chill spaces. Oh, and there's a cute cafe on-site. Definitely worth a visit!

I brought my kids, 8&5 yr olds to the Bug adventure exhibition, we all loved it! We spent 3 hours and could easily spend a full day. Our favourite was the live insect showcase room in the basement:)

We are huge fans of this place! We visit it every year and every time we find something that we haven’t noticed before. The territory is huge, with so many things to explore that you can easily spend 2-3 hours there. With the start of the pandemic some activities are closed, but it is still very entertaining for kids. It’s nice that it is free every Thursday after 5. I will definitely recommend visiting it!

Visiting the Canadian Museum of Nature has been one of my best experiences yet. The museum has four floors. Each floor has 2 sections facing each other. The first floor has the skeleton of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. The second floor shows aquatic life. Other floors show the birds, mammals, and the early man.
There are live creatures, animations and 3D displays which make the exhibits look so real. The videos, photos, and descriptions at the base of each exhibit provides an enjoyable learning experience.
I also visited the Planet ice exhibition where I learnt about the way of life of the Inuit. It is so important to know the role of ice and indeed other elements in maintaining the ecosystem so that we can do our bit to stop climate change.
Don't forget to visit the cafe on the first floor. You can grab something to eat, and also shop for mementos: clothing, mugs, toys, jewellery, games and notebooks! I will certainly visit again with my children.

Very cool expositions although since I came there 1 hour 30 minutes before closing, I did not have time to see all. There is a lot of kids there and a lot of it is made for them to understand. If you don't like children, you might be annoyed.
The building itself is amazing and there is information about its history and architecture.
It's definitely worth the price of the tickets.

With 5 floors of galleries there are a lot of things to investigate. If you want to do everything you’ll need time. We spent 3 hrs and still didn’t get to 2 floors.
They have a good mix of visual and audio information. Only some hands on learning, which we prefer - some galleries have none and others are much better.
Overall, it’s what you expect of a museum. Lots of walking, reading, and learning. The info they provide is easy to understand and you can go in depth more if you want.
For some things we were already knowledgeable in we wish they shared different information, helped bust myths, or gave more general info to help people understand. We enjoyed the dinos the best as the visual really helps understand scale. Wish they had talked more about all the changes that have been made to our Dino understanding in the last 20 years (between when we were in school and now).

Excellent place to take the kids! We saw a special exhibit, roamed the place and ate on-site at the little restaurant/coffee place down on the ground floor. Museum looks like a castle, kids were interested in exhibits and games. All in all, a great day! Will have to come back!

Plan on being here for awhile. We were there for several hours and could have easily spent many more. We definitely didn't see everything
We were here during March break so there was a lot of very young kids running around and the museum was fairly busy. Not sure if it's always busy like this or not so keep in mind some exhibits might take awhile to be able to see them and read the information on them.

I’ve been here a couple times but I never have enough time to check everything out (my fault I can’t plan my time well lol). There are so many cool things in this museum but my favourite areas are the dinosaurs and the bugs. Definitely come check this out if you have kids or if your a child at heart and like to explore!

We had a lot of fun visiting the museum. We saw the bug exhibition. Our group was from ages 3 to 40 and there were interesting things for everyone! I'm glad we went. The entrance was quick. We did go for opening time, and by the time we left it had definitely gotten busy. I suggest buying your tickets online in advance.

Be prepared for at least 3 hour visit. Bring a cold lunch or snacks especially when having kids. Amazing architecture and decor. The exhibitions are great; detailed and rich in information. Staff quite friendly. Lots of visitors with small and school aged kids. Parking fees are aside the tickets. Worth the visit.

What a wonderful place to explore with curious kids! Lots of hands-on activities, fantastic displays and room to hang your coats and eat your lunch. Their family membership is very reasonable and allows up to six children. Bug display in the basement is always a hit, as is the Earth display with all the gems. We really enjoyed meeting the owls and the Bald Eagle.

My experience here was fantastic, I attended Nature nocturne party here in the evening and it was awesome. The entrance fee was 35$ per person but if you intend on going to visit the museum on a regular day I will suggest you visit the website to know the entry fee. I enjoyed my experience here not only I get to party but also I get to see the beautiful 😍 work of art in the museum of nature. You’re not allowed 🚫 to enter the exhibition rooms with drink or food. Security guards were everywhere. I look forward to visiting again during the day to explore more and enjoy nature.

Great family friendly museum with several different exhibits spread over five floors, ( dinosaurs, wolves, birds, minerals, bugs, mammals etc). There was also a special exhibit on bugs, which was really awesome, with large interactive displays. Overall I would recommend this museum to anyone looking for something to do while in Ottawa.

Visited the museum on a Monday afternoon and it was relatively quiet. While we weren’t alone in any of the exhibits, there was plenty of space to explore and take things at our own pace. I enjoy the variety of exhibits, and was also impressed by the new exhibits which kept the visit exciting. Huge shout out to Julie, and the wonderful lady working at the bistro cafe (whose name I unfortunately did not get) who both went above and beyond and helped make our experience fantastic.
The Canadian Museum of History is a museum chronicling Canadian culture and history with an IMAX theater and separate children's museum. The building was designed by Douglas Cardinal and features rippling waters reminiscent of Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau's favorite place to canoe. The terrace in front of the museum offers spectacular views of Ottawa's most iconic monuments.
We loved the exhibit on First People and the temporary exhibit as well. I wish it was open later as we had to rush by 4-6pm but otherwise absolutely fantastic. Loved every bit of it. Learned so much. A must see! Parking is separate cost and $13 so be prepared for that.

What an amazing way to spend the day! Lots of interesting exhibits representing the history of Canada from its earliest inhabitants to present day. We started on the main floor where the First Nations people exhibit was. Then moved to the second floor which had a variety of items including a whole section dedicated to children’s television programs. The third floor had detailed information about our population expansion from 1867 until present day. We could have stayed there for hours, it was very interesting.

Great museum inside and outside. They have a beautiful native collection.
We spent between 2-3 hours and saw almost all of it. I'm not sure it's that much interesting for kids.
The garden and view just right outside is beautiful. One of the most beautiful places to enjoy cherry blossom season.

Very interesting museum, I did not get to go through the entire museum because of the time limit. I was distracted by everything I passed and spent too much time on the first floor and had to rush the other floors. I would definitely go back here again next time and try to manage my time better so I could see the entire museum. I'm pretty sure I missed a lot of interesting and amazing displays. 😭

This museum is a must see on Ottawa. It is equally as interesting for adults and children. I would recommend spending at least two hours here. The exhibits chronology go through Candian history and are a great mix of artifacts, videos, and hands on exhibits. Everything is very interactive and it tells a great story of the country. The exhibits also go into individual stories which bring the content to life. Very well done and worth the price of admission.

An amazing museum where you can learn something new every time you visit. They have an awesome children’s area with lots of exploratory and learning activities. My kids love it. They also have an in-house cinema with a super giant screen and comfy reclining seats where you can watch documentary movies.
As of May 2023, tickets cost $21 (adults), $16 (students), and $14 (children aged 2-12). Children under 2 don’t need tickets, and you save when you buy a family ticket ($53 for two adults and two kids). If you live around Ottawa or plan to visit often, it’s best to buy annual membership for $65 (a single person) or $125 (two adults and four kids). With the membership, you also get admission to the Canadian War Museum. Plus, if you visit Toronto, your Museum of History membership gives you free access to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM).

We were able to walk from the Hilton Homewood Downtown suites over to the Museum. We found the museum to be above expectations. The Grand Hall was beautiful and full of Indigenous Totem Polls as well as a walk through interior area full of interesting artifacts and information. There was a truth and reconciliation area which was very powerful and really made us think about how far we need to go to help wrong the past choices. There was just a lovely flow to the whole museum and provided everything we could need. We highly recommend it.

The Canadian Museum of History is a stunning establishment that invites visitors to delve into the rich tapestry of indigenous and Canadian culture. The museum offers a detailed and interactive exploration of French and English Canadian history, providing a captivating experience. One notable highlight is the striking sculpture located on the first floor, which adds to the museum’s artistic ambiance. The overall organization of the museum is impressive, making it easy to navigate and discover the various exhibits. Whether you’re new to the country or simply eager to learn more about this land, I highly recommend visiting this remarkable place.
PS. There was a free entrance during the Canada Day

An incredibly beautiful museum — inside out. The collection is magnificent and well structured. You will find the most extensive exhibition of the real totem poles in the world here. This is a fantastic museum for both young and old. I have been as a child when my parents took me and I have not brought my own children here twice, when they were 7 and 5, then again more recently when they were 10 and 8.
There is a lot to see and do, and you'll likely get tired before being able to see all of the exhibits, so I would suggest blocking off a full day.
The exhibits are very well put together, and while there is lots to read, there are also plenty of interactive activities to keep everyone engaged. Both times that I've been with my kids, there was more then enough to keep them interested without needing to visit the kids section of the museum, which is still worth visiting as there there is still interesting things to see and do there as well.
There are IMAX films available, which are great and are screened multiple times throughout the day. There are also rotating special exhibits also available, which are also amazing, but of course time-limited. It's a nice way to see something different though if you go back for another visit.
A café is available to purchase food, or you can bring your own lunch/snacks and seating is available.
I would highly recommend a visit here. On both recent visits I've had to Ottawa with my family, this has been a highlight.

Pretty good roundup of the history of our country from the first native peoples through to today. Covers everything from totem poles to Bob & Doug Mackenzie. Such an odd and interesting shaped building. Lots of volume of space, fewer exhibits than you might expect. Certainly worth seeing if you are in the area. Not many other museums devoted solely to our country.

We used to take the kids years ago and mainly spent our time on the second floor (kids area) which was very nice and very educational. However, we visited recently and decided to also see the third floor (Canadian History) and LOVED it. Frankly, I plan to go back and take my time looking at all the exhibits and historic details... So much to see and read about. The first floor entails exhibits on the early Canadians and Indigenous culture, and unfortunately I did not have the chance to see all of them. Highly recommended and one of the best museums to visit while in Ottawa.

All you need to know is that the only reason The Getty is famous and this magnificent work of architecture and museum is obscure is that LA has the best PR in the world. Enjoy serene views and the best of history at this impressive masterpiece here in Gatineau, Quebec.

Visiting this museum was a truly fascinating experience. The exhibits offer a comprehensive historical journey, spanning from prehistoric times to the modern era, providing a captivating insight into the evolution of human civilization in Canada. Particularly striking were the displays of arts and crafts from the indigenous community, offering a profound and amazing encounter with their rich cultural heritage. We also gained valuable insights into the historical interactions between indigenous groups and early settlers as well.
The museum offers a specific section designed for children, although regrettably, we didn't have the time to explore this area. One doesn't have to pay additionally for this section as well.
The beautiful building itself adds to the allure, providing a picturesque view of the Ottawa River and lush green surroundings from the Alexandra Bridge. The front yard offers a stunning view of Parliament Hill, although in our case, this view was somewhat spoiled.
Another highlight of the visit was the collectible shop, boasting an extensive collection of souvenirs. The prices were reasonable compared to other museums, making it a beneficial stop for those interested in shopping for memorable keepsakes. Additionally, there is a café just outside the premises.

Beautiful museum. The building itself is stunning. We got free passes from our local library (thank you!). We spent about 2-3 hours there and most of that time was spent on level 1 (which is where our interest is). The 3rd level we went through much quicker. Limited interactive exhibits for children but our kids ages 6 and 8 really enjoyed the museum.
Parking cost us $13. We went on a rainy long weekend on a Saturday and it didn’t feel overly busy. Would have liked to spend more time walking around outside. Could easily spend a whole day at this museum. Pack a picnic and sit outside and enjoy the view of parliament.

AMAZING!!! ANOTHER ARTO MONACO ORIGINAL PARK!!!! Very much the BEST preserved and strongest running/operating park remaining in the Adirondacks. With their 1980s addition of the water park this place is STILL GROWING AND WINNING!!! Kids and adults have a FANTASTIC TIME here, riding the slides, seeing the Circus, and enjoying the rides and food. Ever clean and always with polite staff, you'll be as in love with this place as I am.

Never got to visit here as a kid, and as an adult thought it was just a water park so I didn't really bother going.....until last summer when we decided to try it out for a YouTube video, and oh my gosh I loved it so much! They have the most delightfully cheesy fairy tale area and animatronics that STILL WORK. I was in nostalgia heaven. Not to mention the park was really clean and the employees were super nice. I say this as an adult with zero children, it is so fun. It's just a laid back campy good time. And the fries were great. Cannot wait to go back this summer.

I have so many good memories here as a kid (besides the finger injury). My grandma brought me here a few times. I was so happy to bring my boyfriend here for the first time together last year and it was such a great experience.
A bit overcrowded for a Wednesday but we still had a good time.. At the place we first met. Can't wait to go back! Such a friendly environment!!

The Enchanted Forest Water Safari is always a good time. But now for the passed 2 years not all of the rides were open. I sure it was do to staffing issues but seems like they could alternate some of the rides, mornings these rides are open and in the afternoon these rides are open. The places is clean they could use someone to walk around in the morning before the guest get there with a leaf blower to blow the walk ways off so there are not little stones and berry's on them. Food is pricey so remember to bring your own with you.

Backpacks and coolers are allowed. They have strollers and wagons for rent if needed. It was really nice. Keep in mind though, the ferris wheel is NOT one of those romantic ones lol it's definitely a lot faster than the typical boardwalk wheel. 🤭😅 (learned the hard way) we look forward to going back in the following years to come. 😀

This place hasn’t changed much at all since I was a kid and I love every bit of it! Parking was well organized and we had zero wait for parking or getting in. And this was the week of the 4th of July! There is something for absolutely everyone! Tons of shade from trees and cut out areas in the woods with covered picnic tables. My sister even brought her 4 month old with zero issue keeping him cool and in the shade! We were tempted to get one of the pricy cabanas but in my opinion unless your planning on staying in one spot and you get that cabana at that spot it’s probably not worth it. We got there a little later in the day ( around 130) and we had zero problem finding two picnic tables under a pavilion in a great spot in the woods right below wave pool and the best food spots! We’ve never had any issue with leaving our beach bags and shoes etc at the tables but we do usually get a locker ( located right after the main gates across from snow whites castle) to lock up valuables . You can buy there or bring a water proof lanyard thing for your phone cards/money. I highly suggest investing in one! Our little kids (2-4yrs) loved all the water activities they have both in the front and all the way in the back that’s designed just for them! You can bring your kids down the small slides and even stand and catch them at the bottom ( there is staff at each tot slide as well) we always skipped the dry rides as kids but my littles actually loved all the little kid rides. Some of which you can ride with them! the big kids(9-19yrs)loved all the big slides! There were lines but don’t be intimidated it goes by quickly! and everyone loved the wave pool ( can be overwhelming with little ones but staying right at the edge and letting them sit down and enjoy getting knocked around a little by the waves was a big hit! ) lazy river ( littles have to either go on your lap or you can hold the tub and walk the river with them in it) train ( which you can actually use to get from front to back of park bc it stops)
And walking through all the little houses. There’s even a little petting zoo with farm animals you can go right into and with change buy feed to feed goats and sheep . The lovely lady grabbed straw for us to feed bc we had no change. So much to do I highly recommend going for two days! We’ve done hotel stay, camping, and cabins… we loved the cabins the most! Some sit right above the park and they were really nice and a lot of fun when my entire extended family goes bc we rent a bunch of neighboring cabins! Also definitely buy tickets online, even if day of. It’s a little cheaper and you avoid any lines if there happens to be any.

Oh this water park is wonderful! Plenty of activities for the family! I loved the lazy river! My kids and wife loved the slides! The food inside the park are pretty good as well! I got the garlic fries and my family got the family combo - chicken and fries - and some cherry ICEES. We were full half way through our meal! It's fair priced and the mean size is pretty good as well! The park also has plenty of parking, an arcade, changing rooms, and a fairy tale facade area. This was our first time visiting this summer and we're looking forward to next summer. Might be buying a membership too!

I am blown away by the level of service and the attention to detail. The grounds are beautifully decorated for Christmas. The check-in area is at a desk with seating for an intimate comfortable check-in. There was peppermint hot cocoa, cookies and cute packets for s’mores near check-in. Our room has a wrap around porch with a hot tub and an amazing view. We received welcome letters on beautiful stationary. There is a free shuttle to take you around the grounds. The gambling is super fun. This place is worth a visit! Oh and the turn down service is fabulous with the dream catcher. So cool!!

Have been here a bunch of times but finally tried more of the restaurants. Awesome food options (at every price range) and lots to do.
Update: our room this trip has AWESOME water pressure and no clogged drain which has made this experience even better!! Although not a fan of the wall dispensers with shampoo & conditioner as the little bottles had good quality conditioner!

My family loved Turning Stone, but there were a few things that needed improvement. The first is the family pool. I am not sure if a drain was backed up, or what, but it smelled atrocious the two times we went to the point my 3 and 7 year old asked to get out. I brought it up to the front desk at the spa, and she promptly called maintenance, but I guess it was out of their control as it smelled the same the following morning. Not to mention, some of the jets in the pool were rusted. Another issue I had was that I requested our car via a scanning option near the front desk, thinking I could set a time for it. Unfortunately, it was for an immediate request. I went to the front desk and a curly blond haired woman, I believe her name was Amy? Was very rude. In the past, at other properties we have stayed at, the front desk can radio valet to let them know about guest requests. This was not the case. She told me to go find the person in the red coat out front and they would help me. I didn't know what that meant, as the valet wears black. She got very impatient and snippy with me instead of escorting and helping me. I went out front after the interaction, feeling very anxious/upset that I did something wrong by asking for help, and a nice gentleman working for valet helped me.
The options for food were great, and I really appreciate the indications for food allergies at the buffet and the great coffee at Opals. Every other staff member we interacted with was wonderful!

Besides that I always lose here. It is a great place to just let loose, unwind, relax, and enjoy time with family and friends. Plus I love that it has a food court and multiple restaurants for fine dining. There is a gym, spa, and other activities to do besides gambling. I haven't stayed in any of their rooms, but I would love to so I could write a review for it as well. I overall like going here for bingo with my wife when we're feeling lucky, but I have never won from here. It's generally a great place to just have fun and mingle including that they have tons of bars, and a dance club called Lava, for anyone who wants to go dancing, and mingle with the other singles. I've honestly never been there either but have always wanted to just to see what it's all about. However my wife may not approve. She's quite the jealous type if you know what I mean. 😉 So take a chance to go and visit it yourself and make your own opinion on it. Stay safe out there and enjoy life!

I recently visited Turning Stone and had an absolutely fantastic time! The atmosphere was electric and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
The casino floor was well-organized and had a wide variety of games to choose from, including all of my favorites like blackjack, roulette, and slot machines. The table limits were also very accommodating, so I was able to find a game that suited my budget.
One of the things I appreciated most about Turning Stone was the attention to detail. The décor was beautiful and the atmosphere was lively, but not overwhelming. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the overall ambiance of the casino was just perfect.
In addition to the gaming options, Turning Stone also had a top-notch restaurant and bar on site. The food was delicious and the drinks were well-made. I also appreciated the fact that there were non-alcoholic options available for those who prefer not to drink.
Overall, I had an absolutely wonderful time at Turning Stone and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun night out. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was electric, and the amenities were top-notch. I can't wait to visit again!

This was my first visit to TS for a Tom Jones Concert.
Security was top-notch. I was really surprised at how quick they were to speak with guest who were out of line as well as deal with spills.
The concert venue for seating was great. No bad seat in the house, but seats are small! Very old school high school narrow.
The Roster BBQ and Bar had awesome food. Everything we had was delishious. Our server was very attentive. He was the best server we have had anywhere since before COVID.
After the concert, we went back and checked out the Exit 33 after 9 pm Nightlife. Great bands at each bar. I was surprised at the need for tablets...reading lyrics?
Entertaining evening people watching!

Spent the day at Skana, it was incredible as always. Had dinner at Pino, which was a 1st for us. My wife got the Buratta Ravioli.I got the Veal Marsala, both meals pretty good, and had enough leftovers for the next day. For Apps, we got the baked Ricotta, which I've never had, and it was tasty, we also got the Baked Meatball, it was huge enough for 2 people. Finished up with flourless chocolate cake, which we recommend. Ended up at the Gig for Emo Night, band was good, did a lot of cover songs, crowd got a little out of hand, guitarist had to come off stage to yell at a heckler who was screaming "Creed" all night after every song they sang which became annoyingly funny, pretty surprised TS Security let it go all night, they are usually on top of that kind of stuff. Great weekend getaway.

We have seen several concerts here at different locations with the casino. Every one has had great sound and lighting. There are tons of places to eat for every price range.
The last concert was a tribute band. I was not happy that we had to sit the whole time in the showroom. I would rather have a pit to stand in for people that want to stand.

We stayed two nights and had a great time. My husband played in the "monster stack" tournament and I played the slot machines. The restaurants had delicious food; the staff in the entire facility were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Everything was very clean; there were lots of stores and restaurants and slot machines. So much fun, can't wait to return! Thanks Turning Stone Resort's! 😍

Turning stone is a fun and clean casino. They have a lot of options other then gambling. Their spa is on of my favorites in NY. The night life is great as well. We went to both “Turquoise” and “The Gig”. The Theme of each club, and especially the performances were amazing. Only thing when coming here is to bring extra money. You are obviously going to lose it in the Casino 🤣

We always have a great time here. On this trip we stayed in the Tower for the first time and loved it. The King room was very spacious, well appointed, clean, comfortable and all that we required.
The restaurants are all awesome and we've never been disappointed. Make sure you see the concierge to get a reservation as they have more access than the front desk clerks.
The Bingo was fun but crazy overwhelming for rookies like us. We would have been less stressed with half the cards we got but there was a special deal. I think the electronic version would have been better too but it was so much more expensive.
At the card tables, you get a mix of friendly and helpful dealers and some that barely say a word and never smile. I don't stay at the unfriendly ones very long.
The machines....well they are what they are and results may vary.
I love the sports betting/viewing area too, but just wish it was larger to accommodate more people as seating fills up fast on Sundays for football.
I haven't attended any of the entertainment shows they have here yet but hope to in the future.
Oh and I really appreciate that they have plenty of EV charging stations in the parking garage!
Overall, this is a really good resort with all the amenities you could want.

It's more like a tourist attraction than a casino. This place is pretty nice but the machines don't really pay out.
Food was ok but way overpriced. It is huge and easy to get lost in this place. Could be better in my opinion. I don't know. I just wasn't feeling it.

Came solely for poker! Casino was nice and staff was excellent.
The poker room is right in the Center and has around 20-30 tables. The lighting inside is good, good seats but downside was it had terrible chips and not clean tables/room. Wouldn’t say it’s the nicest poker room but it does offer a bad beat jackpot and high hand….
The room could definitely use some new chips and renovations. But had fun playing poker

Drove up from NC to spend the week there. There isn’t a whole lot to do there other than gamble. There’s not much in the way of shows and entertainment. The restaurants are top quality. The staff for the most part are friendly and helpful. The Pitt Boss at the craps table isn’t / wasn’t friendly or welcoming. I played one game and left, never to play another roll at the tables.
The bingo hall is outstanding and the prize money even during non special event days is great. Bingo was lots of fun and they (staff) are definitely willing to help out first time players. Staying a few days is probably best, a week is a bit much as you’ll quickly run out of things to do.
Animal park with 100 species, offering hands-on encounters with animals and educational talks.
Loved it. The wait in line was short when we arrived. We purchased the feeding buckets with lettuce, carrots and pellets to feed the animals. The whole atmosphere was totally relaxed. It was spacious and clean. The gift shop was amazing with plenty of affordable items to choose from I picked up my son a tee shirt, stuffed giraffe and rhinoceros. I recommended this place to anyone with children or animal lovers.

Beautiful place!!! Not big, but very nice zoo. We were pleasantly surprised. The animals are in good conditions.
The child had the opportunity to touch and feed many animals. Additionally, we chose to feed the penguins.
We didn't fully understand how it would be, but it exceeded all our expectations. It was excellent! Not only the child was delighted, but also me and even our grandmother!!!! It was a very positive experience that we will remember for a long time.
We have been to many zoos and in San Diego and each one leaves different feelings and memories, but we will definitely remember this one for a long time!
Highly recommend! Suitable for any age.
If I'm in the area I'll definitely visit again. It was unusual and excellent!
Thank you!

I live in Michigan but this is where my husband is from. We visited near Christmas and it was my first time. This is such a unique experience and I for sure recommend going! There are animals that I would have never imagined being able to get remotely close to that you literally have the opportunity to pet and/or feed here. It's amazing! I will say the size of some of the enclosures makes me feel a little bummed for some of the animals but I also understand this is a small family farm.

What a nice establishment! Reasonably priced. We took our 9 month old son here today and he had a wonderful time (2 hour drive) There was no line or wait. They sell feeding pellets and/or lettuce and carrots. All of the animals are very gentle and well tempered. The enclosures are clean and well manicured. The animal enclosures are also generously sized and animals all appear to be well cared for. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are multiple restrooms throughout the park and rest areas with pavilions for shade. There is a nice little air conditioned shed called the cub station that has a bench and changing table. The park seems to be handicap accessible and there are benches everywhere to sit. The gift shop is great and has alot to choose from. We definitely recommend!

Both the animal adventure park and the preserve were awesome! We all enjoyed it. The animals all looked well cared for and happy. Prices were decent. The Staff at animal adventure park were awesome, especially Stephanie at the kangaroo encounter. The staff at the preserve were definitely not as friendly. In particular, the woman who was operating the entrance to the preserve where you pull up and pay, on 7/29/24 between 10 am and 11am was awful. She was so incredibly mean and was rolling her eyes at customers, including huffing and puffing when people asked questions. She was also very slow at getting the cars through and it took us 45 minutes to get in with only 7 cars in front of us. Perhaps more training or an additional cashier would be a good idea, especially on the weekend.

This was a fun place to spend a couple hours driving through the safari area. The animals certainly seem well cared for and content. We were told to stay in the car. It's a good thing because most of the animals were NOT shy! They come right up to the car, expecting to be fed snacks. In fact, one section felt like a gang because while one big Llama blocked the way, a whole bunch of others encircled the car expecting ALL the snacks! It's a miracle we saved some snacks for the zebra that are at the end of the road!

This place is amazing! Havent been here in about 6 years. Its amazing how much its expanded. Great job guys! Well worth the money. Only thing is I wished the enclosures had authentic grasses or any grass besides dirt.

My family and I have been to Animal Adventure Park multiple times since 2017, the park has grown tremendously since then, it just keeps getting better and better with every visit. When I describe it to others that haven't been there yet, I always say "it's not like a typical zoo", meaning, I don't feel bad for the animals at all when we leave. All of their enclosures are absolutely beautiful and spacious, the entire place is immaculate, and the entire staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. We especially love the interaction we're able to have with so many of the animals. AAP quickly and easily became one of our most favorite places to visit. It's very evident that the animals well-being is of utmost importance to the owner and his staff. We look forward to every visit and each one continues to exceed our expectations.

We went to the mother's day celebration here and had a lot of fun. Great variety of animals and the atmosphere is nice. We got a feeding bucket. Because there were hundreds of others here, not many animals were hungry for pellets but they did like the carrots and lettuce! If you go during a large event, I would say you should just get carrots and lettuce

Very nice zoo in the middle of the country side. Lots of animals are very conveniently located in a compact area. Free parking but they are asking not to bring any food or drinks inside $$. We were excited that you can feed many animals with salad leafs or pellets they sell. Fun for kids and adults. Also there are educational sessions throughout the day in various places (check the website). Enjoyed the visit and spent good 4 hours in there.

I love this park. It is great for all ages.
It is unique from any other zoo or park I’ve ever been to because the animals interact with guests. Many of the animals can be hand fed, and stay engaged. It is also a completely accessible park, even offering quiet places for over stimulated children and adults, and offer nursing mother private spaces.

We went for an after Christmas stroll enjoying Animal Adventure's Jungle Bells while sipping on hot chocolate. They really put on a nice light display that is respectful to the animals. You're able to feed the goats, giraffes, camels, zebra and more. Lots of great family photo opportunities too.

We have been to a variety of different zoos over the years and have seen some good ones and some not so good ones. This one is in the top two. The park is clean. The animal pens kept tidy. The people are friendly and the animals are great. We have never been to a park where the animals actually come out to see you. The Arctic Wolf left his spot in the grass to come walk by the glass to be near us. The lions, cheetas, lamas, and capaboros are all the same. You can tell that the staff spend a great deal of time socializing the animals (of course the lettuce, carrots, and feed pellets help).
The cost is on the high side, but the experience is priceless.

Nicely designed zoo. We did the walking area, with wide paths & good flow. There are slopes, so you'll be walking up & downhill some.
There's a great variety of animals, many that we had never even heard of. The name sign tells you where they're from and their status on the endangered scale. Many will approach you, as they think you're feeding. Lions & tigers & bears, oh my! Sloths & zebras & cheetahs, oh my!
You enter through the gift shop where you buy your tickets. You can also buy food for the animals. Most exhibits tell you if you feed from your flat hand or if they don't eat the food. Many have pvc tubes to gravity-feed.
The highlight, of course, are the giraffes. There's a platform where you can be eye-to-eye and feed them.
On a nice day, 2 hours well spent.

This place is a hidden gem. We were visiting NY for a family vacation and this place was suggested. We had no idea it was there. We assumed since it was kind of off the beaten path that it would be just ok….well we were wrong. The place is absolutely amazing. We have been to some bigger more popular zoos by our home and this has them all beat. It was very clean, the animals appeared to be very well cared for. We also did the drive through at the preserve, which I highly recommend as well. My family had an absolute blast. It is very competitively priced as well. 5 stars!!!!

Well kept park with a nice layout and good variety of animals. You can even feed the giraffes lettuce (you purchase separately). We went for the sloth encounter and hands down was coolest thing ever. We got to hold Puppy the sloth and feed him and the other 2 resident sloths. All the staff were so friendly and you could tell they all really love their jobs. Overall nice atmosphere and fair prices. Definitely a family friendly zo and would highly recommend.
The Corning Museum of Glass is a captivating destination that showcases over 3,500 years of glass artistry, from ancient Egyptian artifacts to contemporary masterpieces. It also offers live glassblowing demonstrations and workshops by renowned artists. The museum's rich history reflects Corning's innovative contributions to the global glass industry, making it a must-visit attraction in downtown Corning. Additionally, visitors can explore the vibrant arts scene in the area, including family-owned galleries and the esteemed Rockwell Museum.
It was a fantastic experience. There were so many beautiful glass pieces in all shapes and sizes to view. Thousands in total. We also saw a glass blowing and class cutting demonstration. Just Wow. A must visit place. Wonderful exhibits. They’ve different galleries, a wing alone for the historic exhibits, which were a lot (we weren’t able to see everything). And artistic exhibits are also Amazing. They’ve hot shops showing the glass demonstrations almost every 30 min, throughout the day. Definitely attend one. Don’t miss the innovation floor, it was quite interesting. There’s a beautiful gift shop with so many things and a good cafe, with vegetarian options. And Yes, make your own glass is nothing we can actually make, but only choose what shape and colours you want, and you can have really closer look, which was still nice to experience. It would be good if it’s specified clearly on the website what to expect. Also would love more interactive exhibits. Definitely a great visit.

I love visiting this place. The modern art installations are my favorite part of the museum, but the whole thing is really well done with amazing architecture and always something to learn. Very engaging museum which can keep adults and children busy for several hours. You can explore the glass art gallery, discover the amazing science behind everyday glass objects, with many hands on displays that keep kids looking for more. Additionally there are free to watch live presentations (glass making and the exciting glass Breaking). For additional cost you can participate in a glass making session (good idea to pre register to save a spot). While this was interesting, we were a little disappointed since participation in the actual glass making is minimal. Also note that you either need to come in the next day to pick up your work or pay an additional shipping fee. Lastly there is a great cafeteria with a wide selection of foods that are very reasonably priced (not typical for museums). Free parking is available with an EV charging station. If you are up in the Finger lakes area this is definitely a great place to visit. When you're done, you can chill out in one of the many wineries or breweries in the area.

There are many lovely artworks to see that would educate your thoughts and consciousness. The museum arrangement is the only reason I gave it four stars. The galleries are not well-organized to display all of the artworks. You might miss a few of them because they are in a blind spot. In addition, the signs directing you to the galleries were unclear. While looking for gallery #6, we ended up in gallery #7. And walking the #7 led us to the #6 at the end. Aside from that, there is a live show in gallery #3 at certain times which a glass making process is demonstrated to visitors. Check the time slots and arrive on time to watch the show. It is included in the price of the ticket. On the ground floor, there is a museum shop where you may purchase the most stunning glass pieces. Based on the prices I've observed, the price range is about between $10 and $10,000. Overall, it's a must-see museum in Corning!

We had no much clue what to expect in a glass museum when we started our day here. But this place is mindblowing, and we ended up spending 5 hours going through everything here. We had such an amazing experience watching all the beautiful exhibits and learning many new things about glass.
Entry is $30 for adults and free for kids of any age. We had basic sandblasting added as well, which was $14. The place is worth every dollar we spend.
Live demos - we saw glass making and glass breaking demo as well. It was great to see how the glass is turned into different forms just by blowing and rolling. The glass breaking was very informative. We also did the sandblasting, which was a fun activity.

Really appreciated the indoor decorations. The ambiance here is not just elegant and cozy, but every detail brims with artistic flair. Under the lighting, each ornament glimmers like a gem, illuminating the entire space.
In addition to the interior decor, the glass-making demonstrations are also a highlight. This is not just entertainment, but a learning experience. Spectators get to see firsthand how artists transform ordinary glass into beautiful pieces of art. The skill and creativity exhibited during this process are truly breathtaking. You can watch as the glass softens under high temperatures, then gradually takes shape under the artists' adept manipulations, eventually emerging as gorgeous handicrafts.
Moreover, watching these demonstrations provides an opportunity for interaction with the artists. During breaks, they explain their creative processes and answer questions from the audience. This not only allows you to gain a deeper understanding of this art form but also enables you to feel the artists' passion for their craft.
These experiences have left a deep impression on you about this place. Whether it's the meticulously designed interior decorations or the fascinating glass-making demonstrations, they have filled your journey with color and joy.

The CMOG has a world-class collection of glass artifacts from the earliest beginnings of glass making, to modern art.
If you are looking to experience "all things glass" this is a great place to visit. If you are looking to take an in-depth study of a certain subject, you will probably be disappointed.
The entirety of the "Early American" bottles and glass items that are on display is shameful. The quality of the display shelves would be rivaled by Value City Furniture. In many instances there are killer (sometimes unique) bottles on a dark, crowded shelf where they can hardly be seen.
An American museum that displays early American Glass so poorly is just a shame. The items that they probably have packed away in boxes that are not on display, is mind-boggling. But they will probably never see the light of day.
The gift shop is phenomenal.

Sensory friendly! The museum offers a sensory backpack. My daughter wore the headphones the whole time and the sunglasses in bright exhibits. The fidget helped her wait her turn. The museum staff was awesome as well. Everyone was friendly and willing to explain things for her.
We tried the make your own glass. I appreciate that it wasn’t crowded and activities were separated. My eight year old blew glass while my six year old fused a nightlight.
On a six hour road trip with lots of meltdowns, the Corning Museum was the only stop that went smoothly.
Happy mom. Thank You!
P.s. We were worried about doing a hot glass project because they need to cool overnight. They said they could hold projects for up to 30 days. So we made it on our way up and pick it up on our way home. We recommend buying the make your own tickets in advance because they can sell out.

During our couple of days staying in the nearby town of Watkins Glen, we had the opportunity to visit the Corning Museum of Glass. I found myself wishing for more time to thoroughly explore the exhibits; 45 minutes simply wasn’t enough. Thankfully, the museum offered us a complimentary return entry valid for the next four weeks.
Our visit began in the auditorium, where we were treated to a 20-minute live demonstration of glassmaking. The demonstration included a video detailing each step of the process, with a focus on the heating furnace used to melt the glass.
The museum itself is segmented into various sections, including a prehistoric area, each richly filled with diverse displays. There was an impressive amount of security to ensure children didn’t touch any delicate pieces. The descriptions provided beneath each display were informative and added depth to our visit.
The gift shop was remarkably large, the biggest I’ve seen in any museum. Although there was a café on site, it was unfortunately closed during our visit.
Overall, visiting the Corning Museum of Glass is highly recommended for anyone in the area. It’s an enriching experience that shouldn’t be missed.

My daughter, mother and I visited on April 2nd and 3rd. We had an amazing experience both days. April 2nd we made glass flowers that came out beautiful thanks to Mona and her thorough help. She was the best. On the 3rd my daughter was chosen for her drawing from the daily, You Design it; we make it. Watching her drawing transform into the glass piece was just incredible. One of the most amazing museums I've experienced in a very long time. So impressive. We cannot wait to go back!

What an awesome time to visit during the week when it’s not busy. It was a little busy on weekday and I can’t imagine on weekends.
The town is amazing too and one of the locals actually told us to come here. I would say get the membership as it about cheaper if you buy something at the end of the
It’s works like a loop and easy to visit everything here. I learned a lot and get to see amazing glasswork piece.
This place is amazing huge and just stunning.

We made ornaments and it was so much fun! The museum was a ton of fun! Both the modern side and the other side! Learning how glass is made, and has been made throughout history was just amazing! If you are ever in the area I suggest you stop by and do it!! You will love it because it is awesome!!

Really great museum. I wasn't expecting all the older glass pieces or the more modern designs. It was a real treat and am glad that I stopped by. I highly recommend visiting.
The Glenn H Curtiss Museum, located at the southern tip of Kueka Lake, showcases 20th-century aircraft and motorcycles. The museum pays tribute to Glenn Curtis, an aviation pioneer and motorcycle manufacturer who was recognized as the fastest man on earth in 1907. One of the museum's highlights is an exhibit featuring Curtis' 8 cylinder motorcycle that reached a speed of 136.4 mph.
We chose to visit this museum out of all others in the area and it was well worth it. There is a lot to see and learn about Glenn H. Curtiss who in one display's posted quote is described as a "self taught mechanical genius." An aviation pioneer, his planes are all here along with their engines from leisure to war time. His motorcycles, bikes, boats, some personal belongings and a classic car collection make this a fascinating exhibit for anyone who loves all things powered by motors.

I love history and this museum is a fantastic story of early bikes, motorcycles and airplanes, built by Glenn Curtiss. The display of bikes is amazing and many have been restored. The motorcycles were equally amazing and the story of Glenn Curtiss and racing bikes is awesome. He also built some great motorcycles. Most people will know him as part of the Curtiss-Wright airplane manufacturing. The planes on display are early types as well as a P40 Mustang made famous during WW2. If you are in the Finger Lakes, take the time to come and visit this place.

This place was amazing! We stopped into the movie playing in the theater, thinking we would only stay a couple minutes but watched the entire hour long video, amazed about the story and how much Curtiss contributed to aviation, vs. the Wright brothers. Cool museum, definitely give yourself enough time to watch the entire video in the theater.

The structures outside of the facility, like war plane, railcar, statues, easily draw visitors into the experience of learning about the man who pretty much engineered anything mechanically or manually moveable from the early 1900's until his death. Seeing memorabilia encased behind glass or engines and moving parts on grand display transported us to simpler times. The age of invention was huge, and prior to touring the museum I'd had no idea what an impact this one individual had on it. I was in awe of the original biplanes, bicycles, engines and motor cars, as well as the replicas of what Glenn H. Curtiss had put into flight and/or motion. So much of what he began is still used today in some form, as he paved the way for further engineering. The airplanes, motorcycles, motorcars, family heirlooms, boats, cars, trucks, jeeps and machines in pristine shape made a big impression housed in that space. A small movie theatre paid tribute by film and various television sets shared video of the history of airplanes, etc. Everything was labelled with large posted readings. The education was endless. We were pleased to find the gift shop not only carried the usual souvenirs but tin signs and historical books as well. Towards the end of the tour, a slew of postcards were made available for a small donation. It was an inexpensive and highly informative trip that we'd love to take again.

Very interesting place. I enjoyed learning more about Glenn Curtiss and his contributions to motorcycles and flying. Lots of great flying machines, early motorcycles, and other vehicles pioneered by Curtiss, or that he helped influence.

Glenn Curtiss was a boss. This museum is full of inspiration, information, and mechanical history that should blow your mind! I'm so glad I went. It was even better than I thought it would be!

A really cool out of the way museum. Really well laid out and a lot of artifacts. I use it as a place to sketch and draw and they have always been welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful museum to explore. Great film about the life of Curtiss and the competitive world of aviation. Museum has a nice gift shop and there are numerous examples of early bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles that are all rare and beautifully restored including airplanes. Great fun for the family and his life is captured in a must see video that describes the professional challenges he met to develop innovative aircraft engines.

Lots to see and experience if you are interested in turn-of-the-century to WWII aviation and early motorcycles. There is a scavenger hunt for older kids that is fun. Little kiddos 5 and younger might find it a bit boring because it is (understandably) a do-not-touch type of museum, which can be hard for them. They do have a kids area with coloring and a paper airplane station.

The Glen H. Curtis Museum is truly outstanding, offering a diverse array of exhibits spanning from bicycles and motorcycles to airplanes. Each display is thoughtfully presented and thoroughly explained, making it a delight to explore. The collection of planes housed within the museum is truly impressive, and the accompanying one-hour movie provides an exceptionally informative experience. Without a doubt, this is a first-class museum that is well worth a visit.

This museum is awesome! Lots of informative bits and blurbs, and it was easy to understand for someone who doesn't understand engines and such to digest. The classic boats and vehicles are so cool. The war hawk is suuuper neat, too. Definitely my favorite plane there. Staff is nice and the bathrooms were clean! :) They also have a theater for a movie and lots of places to sit down for people with mobility issues which is very thoughtful. 🐡

Outstanding museum and restoration facility. Being a bit of a WWII history buff, I knew about Curtiss aircraft but more interested in the legends of the skies. I had no idea Glenn Curtiss was the REAL LEGEND: a self-taught, engineer, speed record holder, businessman and even developer.
His story was quite inspirational. He accomplished so much in his short 52 years, only 2 years older than me! A reminder to get on it and follow your dreams.
Highlight was seeing the P40 Warhawk being restored, do not miss this area, it is hidden.

Terrific museum fully telling the Glenn Curtiss story with many significant airplanes and motorcycles on display. I especially appreciated most were not roped off so you could get close to see details and they allow access to the restoration areas. Nice gift shop as well.

This museum was very interesting and we learned a lot. The only negative things were that there were some cob webs now and there and it was quite cold. Plus there is a leak in the ceiling in the airplane room so be careful. Overall a pretty interesting and cool place I would recommend.
