1000% recommended! The staff is so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They will let you use wet suit, and wet shoes, and they do a great instruction on how to navigate with the sea kayak. I highly recommend going in the morning trip if you can as the wind is less, the water is calmer, less waves, and the sun should be less intense. Our guide Tomas was exceptional, so funny and professional ❤️ I would definitely return sometime soon and do a longer all day trip. I just did the 3 hours trip. You will be hungry later, so I recommend to go right to the crepes place in front of fjord en kayak OR for dinner 100% treat yourself to the best home cooked dinner in town at Auberge Fjordelaise- this is also an outstanding place to sleep if staying in town. After kayaking or before there are many great hikes as well that the staff at Fjord en Kayak will be happy to tell you about. This is a solid company and you can’t go wrong doing any adventures with them.

We took the 3 hour tour along the Fjord. It was a truly breath taking experience. Our guide, Arnaud, really made the trip! Echoing other reviewers, as (mostly) anglophones, we expected to just go along with the trip and follow as best we could. It was nice to have everything translated for us (even his great jokes!) We had a novice kayaker in our group and our guide really made everyone feel comfortable navigating the waters. This is an exceptional way to see the grandness of the fjord. Would recommend in a heartbeat. (Also make sure to treat all your hard work with some ice cream at the cafè after :))

We just completed a 6 day trip down the Fjord, we used Fjord en Kayak as our outfitter and for guides. The trip was amazingly well planned and our guides Thomas and Gen were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and they prepared wonderful meals which met our challenging dietary needs. I would 100% recommend Fjord en Kayak!

Booked a 3h tandem kayak tour (morning slot). Parking at Marina L’Anse-Saint-Jean was free and the location was easy to find. Their COVID protocols were on point, all equipment was sterilized/washed and I felt comfortable.
As a first-time tandem kayaker, I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. Our guide, Anthonie, was very knowledgeable and a hilarious story-teller, he made the experience exceptional. Fun times all around, would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved it! Our guide was great and it was fun to experience it in a small group. It’s definitely worth the money!!

We did a 3 hour afternoon sea Kayak tour. Mathieu was our guide. They have a great safety and info session with you to start. À rain jacket, neoprene booties and dry bag for phone etc were provided. PFD too obviously. Groups are small enough the guide gives careful attention to each participant. I would have paddled a slightly faster pace myself to cover more distance but I understand they have to make sure everyone in the group is comfortable with the pace. We got lucky and saw 8 harbour seals resting on the rocks of the fjord walls... We kept our distance as instructed. Mathieu was knowledgeable & passionate about the area and gave us a great dinner recommendation for the Microbrasserie next door. Fabulous experience.

Went with the fam. The tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. The water was calm and great scenery. The group gave all the gear needed to ensure you were well equipped and not cold on the water. The tour was not too long not too short overall perfect outing for the day with lovely cafes surrounding for a bite to eat afterwards. Overall couldn't recommend fjord en Kayak enough 🛶💗

Went on a 4 day expedition with Billy the guide and it was incredible! Knowledgeable, competent, an incredible chef, overall just a fantastic guide. The rental equipment is top and the logistics are very well organised. Would highly recommend this outfitter!

An epic adventure! We were impressed from start to finish on our 3 day kayak trip in the Fjord du Saguenay. Our guide Billy was simply exceptional. Safety was a priority but his love and knowledge of the fjord are what made it so unforgettable. Billy worked tirelessly to provide superb meals, tell stories and educate us about this unique and beautiful part of the world. I probably can’t recommend this trip highly enough - but I want there to be some space when we return next summer. 😃

Had an excellent time with Fjord en Kayak! My friend and I did the full day excursion, which includes lunch -280usd for 2 people (tip not included). We had prefect weather for the first half, a bit gloomy and calm weather. The 2nd half was rainy and windy
Going back was a head on wind and it was a struggle to get back.
Highly suggest if you do a full day you have done kayaking before and relatively fit. We crossed the fjord twice. Lunch was sandwiches, fruit, cheese, and a dessert bar.
The guides were amazing and spoke English well. You will be in a group with other strangers but they were all friendly too.
The half day would be sufficient if to are short on time too.

Amazing experience! Beautiful landscapes. The staff was great, Nicolas did a wonderful job and was very helpful. Definitely more accessible than we thought with all the help received

We went for a short day trip. Excellent experience! Our guide was exceptional! He was the type to go above and beyond for the guests. He insisted on speaking English to appease our anglophone familiarities - even though we were equally proficient in French! He also insisted on taking my DSLR camera to snap pictures while we rode. Much like his insistency to speak English to us, we could tell he was in a little over his head using a DSLR, yet still managed to capture some great photos for us. These things indicate a true devotion to customer service, which make it sincerely worthy of 5 stars!

We had a wonderful experience and Christmas celebration in a unique place! Dog sledding in such magical sceneries was a like living a dream! The dogs are very friendly and love hugs! Absolutely recommend it.
élodie soler — Google review
Overall, an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the guides, they introduced us to the dogs and shared with us their stories. They explained perfectly how to drive the dog sledge and involved us in all the process. The tour was magical, we were able to enjoy the landscapes: woods, crossing the river, Érable forest, etc... and at the same time we had the chance to have fun and enjoy driving the sledge in curves, uphills & downhills! We wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you for such an experience Vanessa & team!

Nous avons découvert cette activité pour la première fois et nous avons été conquis ! Tant par la gentillesse et l’investissement des propriétaires que par le soin, la liberté donnés aux chiens. This is a magnificent park where you can so so many activities from kayaking to hiking.
We tried to do the main 6 km hike but we weren't ready for it. It's a steep climb of more than 800m.
Even where we stopped at the 3 km mark, we could see wonderful views.
Definitely gonna go back and beat that 6km hike :D

This really is a beautiful remote area with very little people. On the Le Riverain hike you have magnificient views on the Malbaie river and its green mountains. We came back explore the Rivera by Canadian canoe. Highly recommended!

Chalet Écho : perfect little cabin with everything you need (except a freezer). Very comfy and modern, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ outside, 2 rooms with 2 single beds each that you can push together. One of the rooms closes only with a curtain, but it is still rather private, so ok for 2 couples. There is a wooden box full of free firewood when you arrive at the cabin. Amazing view and setting! Definitely recommend!

visited this park a few years ago, however it’s become my favourite Sepaq location that I’ve visited in Quebec. The hike to the summit is not relatively hard, as the trail is very manicured. You can make it up there in about 2 hours, if you’re at a decent pace and physics condition and don’t take many breaks. The views are worth the drive and if you’re in the area I definitely recommend adding a visit to this park to your journey.

I did the Acropole des Draveurs with my girlfriend, very nice hike with a nice view at the top.
PS: They bring you at the foot of the hill by bus, after that you're off for the hike with a pretty steep start (about 1km) then it's slows down. After 5km you get to the first summit and see the second from there, when you go to the second you see third and last summit. The hike is back and forth (no loop).
Augustin Cr?met — Google review
One of the best hiking experience we had. Difficult trail but lead you to the fantastic panoramic view on the top. Hiking shoes and good socks preferred. Has to return from Summit 3 at least 3 hrs before sunset.

If you want to be one with nature, it's the place to be! Beautiful hiking trails ! Great camping grounds. If you are lucky, you can get a camping ground right in front of the river! Imagine waking up and listening to the flow of the river as you wake. It's one of my favorite places!!
Sheila Potante — Google review
I don't even know how to explain this place, other than absolute beauty, we only did a 10k trek up to "the yeti" view point so there will be so much more to see than I have and truthfully it has topped a lot of what I've seen in my life, and will be hard to beat for a picturesque view.
The walk through the woods alone is epic but the pinnacle points are absolutely divine and I would recommend this park in a heartbeat.
I'll be going home to Scotland with a renewed sense of exploration and a hunger to tackle the munroe mountains again thanks to this park 🙌
Also the staff at the centre were incredibly helpful and welcoming.
David Grimm — Google review
Great service from the rangers and team throughout. It was amazing to get away and enjoy rustic camping. Each camp site is private so not to hear each other, with access to the river. Would recommend a few days to chill and take the opportunity to explore the different hikes available

Wild Nature. Amazing Parc to spend at least 4 nights to do all the hikes.
Our favorite was renting a canoe to enjoy the landscape from the river (no current, 2hours rowing) and then doing a hike visiting the waterfall. You can also rent a kayak or sup, and also rent a bike or walk.
The camp (pin blanc) was very nice, beside the river, hot shower and very spacious, the river was a little noisy but very beautiful.

OMG! Canada is a really great country that you must get out to see!
First time to this region of Quebec, and it's breathtakingly awesome! Images can't do justice to the shear magnitude of the cliffs, waterfalls, trails, and rivers here.
This park is pristine. All expected services and amenities are available. Even the shuttle drivers love what they do.
Highly recommended.

Amazing place to go for a hike. If you want to go to the high test peak (acropole des draveurs) you need to arrive before noon since it requires a bus shuttle to arrive at the trailhead and their last shuttle leaves at noon on the dot. I missed it at 12:03

We had such an amazing experience at this gallery. I can’t say enough good things about it. The artwork was of amazing quality and a huge selection. Finest museum from LA Malbaie to Baie Saint-Paul in our opinion. The Trebay family not only exhibits amazing works in 15 rooms; their fabulous China collection sits on shelves above the paintings. Hard to extract ourselves from this gallery...spent 3 hours.

THANK YOU for the wonderful tour of your gallery on Saturday. Château-style casino perched on the river cliffs offering slots, table games, bars & restaurants.
Its small and i would love regular blackjack tables. They have the regular BJ at virtual tables but its not the same experience.

Not what it once was: The place is crammed with tacky slot machines, the Bar ambiance is trending downward since the renovations and overall the experience now feels very artificial and rigid with games like roulette and such now being Electronic.

Spent a few days at this amazing property in August. The hotel is breathtaking, both inside and the outer grounds. You can really feel all the history of this place (and read about it all through the hallways and lobby). Great location, right next to the casino. Had a bit of a windfall this year, so decided to try my luck :) Only negative I would say is that the hi roller area is not as big or developed as the other casinos in Quebec. But overall great place!
Matt Mm — Google review
A casino with 2 floor levels. Main floor has more games where as the lower level is more quiet. There is a St Hubert BBQ restaurant on site, so you can play the slots/ have something to eat/and then play the slots again. A great place to pass some time especially if you have your hotel within walking distance.

Wandered around the grounds for a while trying to suck in some of that philanthropic ambience....I felt it, and went inside. There's a lot of poker machines and I'm a frugal kind of gambler. The treasury department suggests "Gamble Responsibly"....and I do, but when it comes to drinkin'!!%??
I had a couple of beers and lunch, the young lady at the bar was very courteous, helpful and kind.

Cute casino, not very large but has all you need, at least if your not a big player. Went a Saturday evening when google said it was very busy but still had an easy time finding a spot to park in the 6$ covered section. They have slot machines for all tastes. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Sachin Tewari — Google review
Small casino, but entertaining nonetheless! There's two areas to park, one is covered and paid ($6) and the others are a bit of a walk and free. There is a ton of slot machines, but not many games tables (blackjack, roulette, craps). There seemed to be a lot of people present for a Sunday evening, but we managed to find a spot. Won a whole $3, covered half the price of parking ;)
Meghan S — Google review
I regret to report that my experience at this casino was significantly marred by the behavior of the staff. Rather than displaying the cordiality and professionalism that one would expect from a reputable establishment, the employees were unapproachable, rude, and demonstrated favoritism towards their regular patrons. Disturbingly, I observed instances where they instructed paying customers to vacate their table in favor of their preferred clients, especially in the roulette section. Such conduct is wholly unacceptable and creates an atmosphere that is not conducive to an enjoyable gambling experience. As a result, I left the premises feeling disheartened and disappointed, with no desire to return to this particular casino. I would advise potential customers to carefully consider their options before visiting this establishment, as the inhospitable and disrespectful conduct of the staff detracts significantly from any potential enjoyment that the casino might offer.

Le Massif de Charlevoix
Ski resort
Outdoor Activities
Mountain resort for skiing & snowboarding, with river views & trails for summertime hiking & biking.
Lots of great runs and the view can't be beat. The food at the cafeteria was decent. We also did the luge run and it was fantastic. You need to book in advance but it was well worth it. We snowshoed and it was beautiful. But the catski option would be good too.
Jennifer Gautreau — Google review
Le Massif is an amazing place to ski/snowboard! We spent 3 beautiful days skiing over Ontario March break (different timing then Quebec March break) and Wow! No lineups for anything in 3 days, food, tickets and most importantly lifts were all ready to serve.
Tonnes of well groomed trails and skill levels to choose from. We stayed at a Hillside Chalet beside the trail at the top of the hill to ski in-ski out from and it was worth it. Saved time, parking and food, meant longer ski days! Gorgeous view of the St. Lawrence river from every run and lodging, this place… it’s definitely a must.
Standard food prices and lift tickets were on par for a big hill but I believe they limit the amount of tickets available to control crowd size on the hill. Tickets(card) was reloadable on line to again save time.
Well planned, well laid out, very worth while!
There is a Club Med at the base of the mountain for the all inclusive crowd.
They also have mountain biking in the summer and a chairlift Light show that’s worth checking out from the looks of it.
Great job Massif!
Not great pics from my old phone but gives you an idea.

Very nice slopes, and it would have been better with more snow. Although not all trails were open over the holiday break in Dec 2021, it was still a great skiing experience. Would surely come back to see if Le Massive staff warmed up to the ClubMed members (may be it's just us but sensed a little hint of attitude there).

by far one of the best, if not the best slopes in Quebec. beautiful runs paired with beautiful views of the forest or the river, very very hard to beat. i visited right after a decent snowfall and the snow was amazing to snowboard on. if you’re looking for a good spot to ski/snowboard in Quebec this is definitely it.

I tried the new Le vol d'oiseau mécanique from the top of the mountain. You need to reserve in advance and the price is on the expansive side. You start with a walk down with small lanterns. Then, you take a chair lift down that goes quite fast. During this walk and chair lift there is little animation (music or light show-wise). Then you take the chair lift up, and that's when you get beautiful light shows and music.
Audrey Deschênes-Renaud — Google review
This place is a gem. Amazing views. No lift lines in late December. The infrastructure seemed pretty fresh (gondola, high speed quads, even the T-bar-type lift were all new-ish and worked well). The ticket RFID scanners at the lifts were nice and efficient. The food in the lodge was expensive but surprisingly healthy/good food. Zero fries/burger/hot dog/etc. It was almost shocking how there was no junk food. I think adding some basics for kids (with kid portions and prices) would have been nice. Overall a great place, we’ll be back.
Mike Lovas — Google review
Not recommend for first time skier. The green is challenging as it has mixed terrains.
Other then that, it’s fabulous place to ski. The view along with the way make everything so worthwhile.
By the way, try their sledding, it has a lot of fun for both kids (age 10 above) and adults.
Jessica Zhang — Google review
We went for 'Le Vol de l'Oiseau mécanique ', the light show at night time. You spend a good time on the chair lifts in complete darkness. So, if you are afraid of heights, it's not for you, but if you are in for a challenge, do it. There is also some walking in gravel and some spots it's an uphill hike. So if you have any health problems like asthma, be aware. Bring a warm windbreaker with a hoodie, even a hat, because it gets really windy and cold. I also recommend some gloves because the chair lift bars get cold. All in all, I loved my experience!

Dramatic canyon with suspension-bridge trails, waterfalls, rappelling & zip lining.
A beautiful natural canyon for hiking and family activities. This is an enclosed area of the river with many waterfalls and beautiful hiking trails.
There is a charge of $16 for adult to get in. If you want to have an areal view of the canyon, you can pay an extra $10 to ride an open cable car to get up to the hill. I prefer walk to get close encounter with nature.
There are suspended bridges and lookout areas to see the waterfalls and the streams. Some lookouts are more challenging in getting there.
The leaves are starting change creating a beautiful scenery in the canyon.
Get down to the lowest point of lookout, you will be able to get a photo of the whole canyon waterfall. But prepare to do some climbing of stairs. So ware some comfortable cloths and a good pit hiking shoes.

Gorgeous views from the walk. The story at each view point kept my kids entertained. My 3 year old actually walked the whole way round including the 187 steps. There is a ride that shoots you across the canyon that looks fun. My kids were too small and husband scared of heights. Dogs are allowed. Some cool suspension bridges too. Clean well maintained public toilets and a play structure for kids. Shop and a Cafe but we didn't go into Cafe.

It was a nice walk down the Canyon over nicely built bridges and sometimes paved walkways. Lots of sitting areas for a picnic, right by the river or in covered areas in case it rains. It was like catered hiking that was well marked and maintained. Lots of space and many great picturesque locations on platforms right by the river overlooking the falls.

WOW. This place is gorgeous. My partner and I had such a fun time exploring it. Took us about 2 hours to go through the whole thing. They have a trail for kids too, which has interactive stories as well as some games. The falls was phenomenal. We ended up going on the air canyon thing, it was nerve racking but so worth it. The view you get is worth every penny. We did buy our tickets in advance but not sure the benefits as we still waited in line to get registered and what not. Could have easily just bought them there! The staff was also really friendly :)

Amazing place to visit. It's about 45 mins from Quebec City, it's not too far. It's an incredible gift from Nature. The view in autumn is just stunning. There are a lot of visitors from Asia. Just look at my pictures, you will fall in love with this place 😍🍁
It's not the best place for a kids troller. Better to let them walk and run by themselves.. there is a fence all the way, so there is no danger at all.

July 2021 an amazing destination that's worth the visit. At a cost of approximately $23 per adult and $17 per child with the cost of going on the zip line, this is well worth the visit. Parking is free. The zip line itself only lasts about 10 seconds and if you go early, there's a short line. The zip line stops just above the canyon at about 10 storeys high for a brief moment while you take in the scenery. The park is well maintained. Stairs have handrails and pathways are paved with gravel or asphalt. Lots of suspension bridges and a path that leads you around the canyon and past multiple bridges and look out points. Front entrance has washrooms, a picnic area, and a small playground for the younger kids. A great stop to past by. Your looking to spend about 2 to 2.5+ hours. If you need to wait at the zip line, add another 30 mins. Plan 3.5 hours if you plan to take things slow.

A beautiful place with nice natural walk while observing the waterfall. Did the air zip line and it was fun. But had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to get to my turn. It’s worth visiting for sure.

This is a fantastic place for a walk and to explore the natural beauty of the canyon. It's not a difficult walk, but there are a decent number of stairs. There are also several suspension bridges over the water, so just be aware if that's something that makes you nervous. None are rickety or sway too much, and they all feel very stable.
The views are amazing and there are many lookouts that are great spots for photos, or just to admire the natural scenery. There are also plenty of signs to provide information on the area for those who are interested.
At the entrance there is a restaurant and gift shop, as well as bathrooms. There aren't bathrooms anywhere else in the park so use them at the start before you head out. There are also picnic tables available under the trees if you'd like to bring your own lunch/snacks.
You can get to the bottom of the canyon and back in an hour or so, but if you like a slower pace to take in the sights and read the signs, plan for this to be a morning or afternoon activity.
Definitely worth the visit. If you like the outdoors, you won't be disappointed.

This is my second time coming here in 4 years. I live this place. Nature hiking with a bit of stairs at its finest. There are 2 ways to go. 1 way is the wheelchair accessible and the other loads of stairs. Brought my doggo and he loved every bit of it. There's water bowls for your doggie every couple hundred meters. Defo recommended this spot to any nature enthusiasts

Canyon Sainte-Anne was one of my favourite stops during my trip to Canada - it had breathtaking waterfalls, awe inspiring views and an adventure zip line that is not to be missed. Our trip lasted about 3 and half hours and this included a leisurely stroll across the canyon; the air canyon and a bite to eat at the ample picnic benches provided. Added to this the gift shop was excellent and everything (including the entrance and air canyon) was very reasonably priced and you’ve got a great day trip.
We arrived early and had the place pretty much to ourselves but noted that by lunchtime that tour buses were arriving and so for the best photographs I’d maybe suggest arriving at one of the less busy times but whenever you go you’ll have a fabulous time

Not for people who are scared of hight ! ! Entrance is 14 if you are visiting the park and 25 is you will take the air canyon. Beautiful hanging bridges and look outs. The last bridge has 187 stairs so be aware. The whole trip takes 1:30 max. The aircanyon is scary . I recommend to visit!

Beautiful spot that is worth a visit. A walk around the falls takes approximately 1 hour and includes many stairs but is worth it for some great views. There are informative signs throughout. The zip line is a lot of fun. Some accessible options are also available for seeing the site if you have mobility issues.

My family’s favorite mountain to ski. The slopes are beautiful and they are slopes for all types of skiers. If you buy your tickets on line for 2 days or more you get discounts. There’s also a little sugar shack with Maple Taffy for the kids. Definitely recommend for a family outing.

Good complexity of runs and lots of variety. We unfortunately didn't have great weather (minus 25 but n9 snow leading up to our weekend) the ice patches made the runs more difficult but the vista's and maintenance on the hills and property were a great experience. We'll try to make it back and hopefully luck out of the weather next time!

Great Quebec skiing. 650 m vertical. Some night skiing. Area has been affected by lift closures, and subsequent staffing issues given that the area was closed while the lifts were down. Check to make sure that what you require will be available before coming. But it's great, with beautiful views. Reasonably priced.

We hiked on La Crête path and it was so much harder than we anticipated. It was indeed "very difficult" like it was indicated. In some areas near the top, there wasn't even a "path" to walk on and it got so steep. It was a pretty cool experience and I felt closer to nature. Climbing a steep path at a steady pace requires a lot more cardio than I expected. When we reached the top, the extraordinary view and the refreshing wind made it all worth it (s/o to the black doggie and his encouraging owner we met near the top).

We were very impressed at the really top-notch refurbishments. I've stayed in many hotels and I have to say that the room was one of the best ever. The service was good. The restaurant actually surprised me. The service was effecient and well coordinated and the food really surpassed my expectations. I wasn't expecting this. Being that it's summer, and this is predominantly a ski oriented destination, we have decided that we'll book a winter getaway here. It is a very picturesque location and we enjoyed hiking the ski hill. The pool was very welcomed after some intense hiking and it's very clean and well maintained. Thanks for a great mini-vacation. I'll recommend this hotel.

Great hike and breathtaking scenery. The suspended bridges and zip line were exhilarating! Highly recommend.
Neo-romanesque building with stone sculptures & wood carvings, plus guided tours & a religious shop.
Simply spectacular. It is a half hour drive east of Quebec City, but well worth the trip. The ceiling tells the life story of St. Anne from one end to the other. I visited here about 48 years ago. Sadly, they had to remove most of the canes and crutches from the pillars because of Covid - too many people wanted to touch them, so that profound impression is lessened. But the sanctuary, and the chapel downstairs are just beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful church outside of Quebec City. The church is considered a pilgrimage site, dedicated to St Anne, Mary the mother of Jesus' mother. The interior decoration and architecture is fantastic. Unfortunately, we witnessed a house on fire directly across the street during our visit. If you happen to take the time to go here be sure to check out the basement as well. Very beautiful. Follow for more...

This has got to be one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. I am surprised there is no entry fee here while they charge a fee to see notre dame in Montreal which in my opinion is not as amazing as this basilica.

Amazing place . Church is well maintained and peaceful. The facilities are well-maintained, and the worship services are conducted with reverence and enthusiasm. The music and worship team's performances are heartfelt and moving, contributing to the overall sense of reverence and connection.
The church is a welcoming and spiritually enriching place that offers a blend of tradition and contemporary thought, fosters a strong sense of community, and actively contributes to the betterment of society. Whether you're seeking a place of worship, personal growth, or meaningful connections, this church is undoubtedly a remarkable choice.

This church is extremely beautiful to see, both from outside and inside, with delicate and well-planned sections that are easy to miss.
There are multiple layers of religious depictions. On the outermost layer inside church, Old Testament figures are shown. Then the next layer shows the stations of the cross. Then on the pillars around church are scenes from the life of Christ; the carved details on the pillars are magnificent (see pics)!
Then on the top of church is chronological art of St Anne’s life from her birth (starting from back left when facing altar), circling around the church, ending with death of St Anne (at back right side). Using Google translate helped make sense of what’s written in French :).
The four corner pillars in front of the altar are carvings of the 4 Gospel writers, commonly seen in Catholic and Orthodox churches.
Presented in this way, I interpreted it as showing the OT prophets who prefigured Christ (at outer layer) and Anne who indirectly influenced Christ (at very top), as those who surrounded and played an integral role in Christ’s life (as seen in center and middle of church).
The outside area of the church are also beautiful to walk around; plus, don’t miss the chapels downstairs. Additionally, the golden door on the outside include integrate details of Scripture scenes. Well worth the visit!
The church opened my eyes to a historical figure often overlooked. The mother of Christ, Mary, is who she is due to the influence of her parents, Anne and Joachim. Anne’s background and upbringing of Mary brings to light her influence on the mother Mary.
It’s worth noting that on the top of the altar are three figures in middle, Mary, Christ, and Anne. Those on the side of Christ depicts the immense influence of these two women!

Village Vacances Valcartier is a beautiful outdoor recreational complex that features a wave pool and waterslides in the summer and winter, respectively. There is also an indoor waterpark with two pools, more than 14 slides, a surf wave experience, and an adventure river. The Ice Hotel is an amazing addition to this park and is definitely worth a visit!
A fantastic place with a lot of fun and entertainment for adults and kids.
If you go there with your family, be sure you won’t have a boring day or thinking what to do there. The village is very nice and convenient. You will find everything there, from the food to the store where you can get all the equipment, clothes, shoes, etc.

An incredible destination to revel in a day filled with snow! Whether with family or friends, the numerous mountains offer thrilling opportunities for slipping. The on-site cafeteria provides basic yet satisfying options like poutine and drinks.
Additionally, there's a spacious dining area where you have the flexibility to bring your own beverages and food, adding a personalized touch to your experience.
The cost, at 63.226 CAN taxes included per person, ensures a reasonable outing.

Quiet and clean - no waiting lines even though it was a rainy day. Surf spot, death drop, wave pool, hot tub…Lots of fun for kids and adults. Lifeguards and staff were great. Walking upstairs to eat your packed lunch was a bit painful though - you have to walk around the lockers and use different doors to go in an out and all in your wet bathing suit. The best we had is this village! We travelled all the way from Ontario to visit this place and trust me you do not regret it.
Even if it’s storm also still we visited this place. I am having the feels still remained after a day!
We are a group of 4 and we had good experience in three spots. One is the Tubing, second one is Bora Park - Swimming and Waterpark, Skating & Ice House. Everything is separate and needed to be paid separately.
One each would be around 30-40$.
Tubing is the best out of all, trust me. You have multiple levels out of all Everest and Himalaya were the best.
Go early and spend good quality time! Parking is there. Even on the top of the glides there are washrooms and heater room.

We came to Quebec City for Christmas, but there was no snow anywhere except Valcartier. Magic place. Indoor water park and a lot of slopes for tubing. Fun, fun, fun.
Located in Quebec City, Montmorency Falls are a tall waterfall with beautiful views. Tourists can visit the falls from an observation deck, and in winter, they can also ice climb on the falls' slopes.
This place was enchanting beautiful views of the waterfall the bridge the city the river everything rolled up into one. I went here in the rain and had the most amazing time ever you could possibly have in bad weather. The crowds weren't too bad and I was able to see the falls from various views and I would recommend this place for quick romantic getaway for two or family fun. There's not one thing I can think of to make this experience better and even parking was still pretty easy to manage. This is a definite place you should visit 100% while you're in Quebec and don't even think about leaving until you do. 😁

It was nice. Quick and short, it is a nice short walk, about 7 minutes. It's a lovely waterfall. The area is clean and well plowed. I suggest really good snow boots if you are going in the winter, consider snow cleats for your shoes because of the ice. It's well paved and plowed but there's ice that can't be helped. They add gravel and sand to help with traction when walking. The bridge is perfectly fine and very safe, it's a lovely bridge.

We arrived early and paid in advance online. This is a great place to visit, it wasn't overpriced and if you arrive early it's not too crowded. An added bonus is they have carnival exhibits still available in the summer. I cannot stress the importance of arriving early, it got quite busy as the day progressed.

It costs to enter but is well done. Park and walk past the gondola and historic manor to the foot bridge over the falls. Continue walking around past the zip line and down nearly 500 stairs with views to the bottom of the falls. Continue around the boardwalk to the other side of the falls, then walk back. Or take the gondola up if you are tired or want a different view.

Beautiful, clean place. Adult tickets cost $8-9, and given that we climbed the stairs (rather than cable car), there were no additional fees. The bridge itself is crowded with tourists, but the view from below and above is already breathtaking.

Beautiful scenery. Beware of the stairs if you aren't particularly active/fit else be prepared to take many breaks. Also recommend to wear a jacket or layer as some parts get very misty from the falls. Worth the full walk around at the bottom to get some great photos of the falls

It's a small fall, but still very beautiful. I came in during the period while the ice was melting, which gave me a very unique view of the fall. The ticket was cheap, which includes a small trail if you would like to go. It definitely worth the value. There is a cable car too if you would like to try, with extra cost.

An amazing excursion not too far from the heart of the city! I loved that we could see the falls from a number of different vantage points, including from the suspension bridge, the stairs and at the bottom of the falls.
It's set up really well, especially if you don't mind a bit of walking and aren't afraid of the staircase! But there's also a cable car that takes visitors to the top and bottom of the falls if you don't want to or cannot navigate so many steps.
There are a number of snack bars on site so it's easy to get some refreshments and there are plenty of picnic benches and lots of greenspace where visitors can relax and take in the sites.
For the more adventurous visitors there's a zip line and rock climbing guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping!
Highly recommended! I would absolutely go back.

Exceptional waterfall with multiple places to see the attraction from different angles. Note that you can pay and park at first level to see the fall at lower level and then you’ll need to exit and search on your navigation for suspension bridge to park at top area (the same ticket can be shown for both places). It’s worth seeing from top and bottom area.

Visited this spectacle with a group of friends during a trip to Quebec City (prior to the pandemic). This place is absolutely gorgeous--the photos don't do it justice. You must see this in person to fully appreciate it. Standing over the bridge suspended just above the Falls is a breathtaking experience. It truly allows you to appreciate the beauty and power (from the sounds of the cascading water) of the Falls. Strongly recommend everyone to visit!!! Look forward to returning sometime in the future!

There are washrooms available to use. It's definitely worth a visit

Very serene and picturesque. I can only imagine the beauty of it in summers if this looks so beautiful in the winters. The fall was almost frozen though still a bit of waterfall one could see. Cable cars are needed to go up where one could walk the suspension bridge to see the waterfall right below. The manor montmorency is also nice.
Take the cable car for the way back as well. The '487' staircase is closed during the winters but it would be one muscular task to ascend during the summers. Definitely keep extra pair of clothing when using the staircase because the sheer force of the fall would drench you.
The visitor center is cozy and comfortable. It has cafeteria inside along with a small gift shop for souvenirs.
On and all very nice place to visit.

Stunning beauty in the winter with parts of the falls frozen over. There's also a cable car service you can pay for to ride and view the falls from above, though it didn't seem like the cars get closer than where you can walk to on the ground. The site costs a little bit to enter (around $6 per person + a small vehicle parking fee)

Overall, Montmorency, Quebec, exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a tranquil retreat, Montmorency promises an unforgettable experience amidst stunning natural beauty.
The Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral is an imposing structure that has been rebuilt several times and features beautiful artwork, including a sanctuary lamp given to the bishop by Louis XIV. It's home to many impressive items of art, including an Episcopal throne canopy and a crypt housing the governors and most of Quebec City's bishops.
Extremely beautiful interior here! It's always a good idea to check the hours of operation so that you can get a look inside and take some photos. Note that they actually hold mass here so they can be running mass while you are visiting

So calm and beautiful! It is such a wonderful feeling to be in Canada's oldest church. You can spend an hour here, just sitting with awe in front of the gold-plated apse. There is also a small museum on-site dedicated to the church's 375-year-old history and the story of Quebec's first bishop Francois de Laval. Best of all, it's completely free!

Breathtaking church! Everything inside is so well thought out and elaborate. The holy door was very cool to see (inside on the left-hand side if you are facing the front).

⭐Stunning Interior - Full of History & Cultural Significance⭐
Constructed in 1647, this Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a must-visit location in the historic quarter of Old Québec. It is perhaps most iconic for being the burial place of François de Laval, as well as having a Holy Door installed in 2014 (under authorization of the Pope) to commemorate its 350th anniversary.
The interior is simply stunning and photos can't capture (albeit I have done my best!). See it in person for an unforgettable experience.

Church was very nice! The most friendliest welcome I’ve ever got! Would definitely recommend visiting! Note: Pictures are aloud to be taken inside

Beautiful church in Old Quebec, Quebec City. The staff is very friendly, they talk both English and French to help the visitors. They have a small museum inside where you can read about the history. They also have relics of different saints.
It is a must visit place if you love the architecture of churches.

Gorgeous architecture, quiet place to grab a few minutes rest and peaceful contemplation in Old Quebec!

This was the best “attraction” I visited in Quebec City. It was definitely worth the uphill walk! It is completely free for everyone to go inside. This was an amazing experience. It truly felt euphoric and serene being in such a beautiful church. A wedding in this church would be an out of this world experience. This is a must see.
Emilia Hajjar — Google review
The most powerful place I have visited in the entire province of Québec. We were fortunate enough to visit during the 350th anniversary of the Basilica, so the Holy Door was open. It was such a moving experience to hold Jesus' hand while pushing open the heavy door, crossing from the outside world into the peaceful and spiritually-inspired world within the Basilica..
Such a breathtaking space! The architecture, the wood, the statues, the paintings, the stained glass.
There were great bilingual pieces of information throughout, and we felt we learned a lot about the history of the Basilica.
The modest gift shop had the most modestly-priced mementos in the whole city, which is typical of Catholic Church shops. As a result, we spent more than we were inclined to because it felt we were supporting a genuine non-profit cause.
Full disclaimer: my great great great grandmother was baptized in this Basilica in 1831. She was born on a ship coming to Canada from Ireland. They would baptize babies at churches in the first port of call, in that case the Basilica in Québec City.
DEFINITELY will revisit this Basilica when I come back to Québec.

stumbled across this beautiful cathedral in old port quebec city. it is free admission and donation is encouraged at the exit. very pretty and beautiful inside and although i wished there was english translation, i very much enjoyed taking a nice tour of this church

Beautiful cathedral. More expensive than most of the other cathedrals I’ve been to. There was no tour the day we went and just spent time enjoying the details, stain glass and beautiful alter.

Amazing place to visit with beautiful architecture. Be warned, there is construction going on in front of the church but it does not detract from it’s beauty!
Corbin Musselman — Google review
The architecture that make you wonder the limitation of human beings’s creativity and imagination, every single details remind you of the devotion and perfection. And it’s free entry too, there’s small museum on the introduction of the creator of the cathedral.

This is a beautiful church and is located just near Chateau Frontenac. This church is peaceful and serene. The moment you enter you are welcomed by this golden glow structure.
There is no entrance fee. We went here on a weekday and there were only few tourists inside which was a plus point.
Ashwee D — Google review
It's free to enter so no complaints there. We visited around 9am on a Friday morning. Enjoyed the 12 minute film about Francois de Laval. Smaller than the basilica in Montreal but just as ornate

Let me start by saying WOWWWW!
Hands down the best church I have ever been to.
Just gaze and ponder over the marvel, the beauty of this amazing ornate cathedral.
Very peaceful and serene ambience both inside and out. This church built in 1660s is an epitome of the architecture and religious artwork. The carvings, paintings and stained windows are so picturesque and speak for themselves about the history of the church.
No entry fee. If you get a chance then do sit for the prayer. It's very meditative. Amidst its grandeur, you can find a peaceful haven for introspection and connection by sitting through the prayer.

Wow... This is beautiful.
This church was built in 1647 and its architecture and artwork are beautiful and mind blowing. The carvings, and stained windows are so detailed, and beautiful.
Entrance is fee.

Indeed a beautiful Holy place. It is a must visit. The only Catholic church in North America to have the Holy Door and it is open only this year 2024.
M G — Google review
Gorgeous cathedral and free to access (unlike Notre Dame in Montreal where there is an entry fee of 18 CAD) with the lines you normally find in more northern European cathedrals as opposed of the Portuguese or some Spanish cathedrals for example.
I liked it's simplicity with only some golden adornments around the altar area besides the usual stained glass typically found here.
Quiet, despite being located in the busy part of the old Quebec town and just beautiful.
EV US — Google review
Beautiful basilica that you must visit if you are in Quebec (even though there are lots of churches in Quebec). This cathedral had significant historical importance and if well worth a visit.
Michael Wu PhD — Google review
This ornate cathedral is a must see in Quebec City. The gold plated statues give one the impression of Christ rising to heaven. Do a self guided tour at the bare minimum, and if you can, sit through a church service to get a true feel for it’s history.

Visit on Sunday December 10,2023. Notre-Dame de Quebec Cathedral Basilica, built in the 1660's is a lovely place to visit and take in the beautiful architectural features and religious artwork. This, the oldest church in Canada, celebrated its 350th anniversary in 2014. Mobility impaired accessible entrance. Check for opening times and avoid any times which may have a service.

Traditional hotel with unfussy rooms, some with river views, plus optional breakfast & free Wi-Fi.
We arrived at Hotel Terrasse Dufferin and WOW what an awesome surprise. We were greeted by Amélie, who instantly made us feel welcome and like we were the most important guests ever! The hotel in our opinion is perfectly situated right near the Chateau with views of the river. Our room was also great we couldn’t fault it, large and very comfortable. We originally booked for 2 and stayed for 5 nights.
Amélie and Simon have only taken over the hotel recently, we wish them the very best in their new venture with all the plans for improvements they have and are positive they will be extremely successful. We will be back!!
Pete & Jenny H — Google review
If you’re considering booking because of the ~low price - I would stay away! The hotel is near empty and for our short 2 night stay they placed us on the very top floor. The stairs are very steep and there’s no elevator. It’s absolute hell going up and down multiple times a day, not to mention dragging your luggage along. I payed directly through their website so they should have had the courtesy to place us on the lower levels because there was no fee cut through a 3rd party booking site!
The Queen Room is tiny, literally feels like a prison cell. The bathroom sink is abnormally low and in a tight cramped corner that you have to squeeze into. If you have wide shoulders - good luck!
There is no AC and it’s so stuffy inside that it’s hard to breathe. There also a lack of ventilation in the rooms. There’s a ceiling fan that is completely useless and provides no breeze. Speaking of useless things, they included an old box TV which I suppose is just for decor because it also doesn’t work!
The icing on the cake is the rude man at the reception. Overcomplicated a simple check in process.
The hotel isn’t entirely that affordable to suffer through all this so spend the extra $50-60 and stay at a decent place.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Terrasse Dufferin. The location is incredible just steps away from a toboggan ride and the St Lawrence River. We came for Carnaval and it was so easy to walk to the venues.
Everything was very clean, housekeeping was provided to us every day, alongside a complementary snack/drink stash (an amazing extra that made breakfast so easy). Service overall was amazing.
Also the option to be able to store luggage on check out to explore the area a little more before leaving.
Only thing to note is that the building is old, so there were loud creaks at night, but we just used earplugs and were fine.

Great Location and views of the St. Lawrence and the promenade. The hotel itself is a little old and a little tired, but so what, who goes to Quebec to sit in their room! The service is super friendly and helpful, and the money we saved staying here, we spent on fine wine and dining! Had a great time over the Canada day long weekend, would stay here again in a heart beat!

The location is wonderful, the people are nice, rooms are clean. We asked for a room on the 1st floor because we are older & didn't want the stairs. We had room #2 & it was wonderful. This is a 100+ year old building, so if you want something new & Shiney, this is not for you. We loved it!
Michael Jeremiah — Google review
If you don't go into this hotel stay thinking you're booking somewhere with a marble shower, elevator, chic lobby bar etc., you will be thrilled. This isn't your Instagram hotel. If you want to stay in the best location at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Yes, rooms are small and dated, but who wants to spend that much time in their room on vacation anyway? The whole city is there for your recreation.
The important parts: rooms are clean, well maintained and dark at night; beds are comfortable if a bit soft (my husband prefers a hard bed but liked this one!); there is serviceable coffee in room; shower water is hot; room was sufficiently air conditioned; we checked in after 10pm and a key was waiting for us in the lock box (customer service texted with me which was super easy).
I would stay here again in a second. Our room was on the top floor which might be hard for some people (the front door of the hotel isn't accessible so this place isn't an option at all for people with mobility devices) but I'm 7 months pregnant and managed it. There are little chairs on every landing so you can have a rest between flights 😊. We didn't have a view but looked out the window of a riverview room and it was gorgeous!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hôtel Terrasse Dufferin. We had such an outstanding view on the St-Lauwrence river and the Château Frontenac. The experience of old quebec city was enhanced by the historical cachet of the hotel and the room. Beds were really confortable, the room super clean and quiet. We had excellent services from the frontdesk. The location was also perfect to go explore the most attractives spots of the city by walk and very close to a lot of restaurants. I recommend 100%

Some old world charm that has been kept in immaculate condition. Amazing service and communication from the staff. While I wasn't able to stay in the area long, upon seeing the view, I knew I'd be 20 minutes later than scheduled.

Very great place location is amazing you cannot be located better then this. The view of the water plus attractions around is perfect for tourism every thing is walking distance. The place is a very old building 180 year old they mention but those days washrooms were very small, the fact that is old brings you back in time yet very clean and peaceful, even at night or in the morning..they dont serve breakfast in exchange there is cute restaurants very close by..
Thanks to the staff i recommend and would book again.

This hotel was build in 1860, so it's old, but we loved the place. Bath rooms are small, but functional. Rooms are nice and the views are stunning. Location perfect. If you can not climb stairs, don't book this hotel. Friendly service. Muffins a nice touch.

Location is spectacular! We didn’t have a view room but even so. Front desk very friendly and helpful, rooms small but charming and clean. The walk up is intense with suitcases, especially if you’ve just walked from the station because of a taxi strike! But a really nice place, definitely recommend.

This is a lovely hotel. It's spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in a great location.
It's a building with history, it's quirky and if you like lifts, huge uniform rooms with gadgets and 24-hour service, then this definitely isn't for you.
The whole hotel gives off an aura of someone being very proud of it and loving it for what it is.

Terrasse Dufferin is a charming family hotel nestled by the Saint Lawrence River, just a stone's throw away from the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. This historic gem, dating back to 1880, offers an enchanting blend of old-world charm and modern comfort.
Our stay at Terrasse Dufferin was nothing short of delightful. The location couldn't be better, with all of Quebec City's attractions within easy reach. Whether you want to explore the quaint streets of Old Quebec or savor the breathtaking river views from the hotel's terraces, you're in for a treat.
What truly made our stay special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owner's daughter, who fluently speaks English. Her genuine hospitality and knowledge of the area added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our visit. The rooms were cozy and tastefully decorated, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
Terrasse Dufferin is more than just a hotel; it's a gateway to the heart of Quebec City. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a home away from home with a touch of history and a dash of hospitality, this is the place to be.

This 180 year old hotel is an experience by itself, which adds to the old time and timeless charm of Quebec. Conveniently located just a few steps away from the iconic landmarks of old Quebec (Terrasse Dufferin, Château Frontenac, Citadel). If you are looking for a posh and an accommodation with modern trappings this ain't for you. The building is antiquated but for some reason my wife and I end up loving it.
Apart from that, Amelie is probably one of the most welcoming hotel staff that we have come across in our years of travel.

If you’re looking to stay in Quebec City for the Winter Carnaval or just for some sightseeing, this old gal is the place for you!!!
This is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in. It feels so cozy and welcoming and not to mention the historical aspect. Its over 180 years old and is so well maintained and just beautiful on the inside and out. It’s right beside the Fairmont and the boardwalk with the 1884 Dufferin Snow/ice slide not even a 2 minute walk away. It’s also a good walking distance from so many restaurants, shops, transit, and the ferry to Lévis! The staff are so charming, friendly and knowledgeable, they’re above and beyond!
I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! If you’re lucky enough to read this before booking your stay, I highly urge you experience this quaint, great value, stunning hotel.

This vast, star-shaped fortress is home to military memorabilia and artifacts dating back to the 1700s. Visitors can explore the site's attractions, including guided tours and a museum area, as well as regular changing of the guard ceremonies during warmer months.
Had a very good, hour-long tour today, guided by Dominique, in English. He led me around some of the museum exhibits, then out onto the grounds, describing the buildings and relating stories about the 22nd Regiment’s service and members. Saw inside the prison and the chapel and had a wonderful lookout over the old city and river.

Very interesting museum and still an active military establishment. The views are incredible.
Plan ample amounts of time to visit the museum and go all the way to the end to see the medal room. Very impressive.
The tour is pretty fast and the stops in the little sub-museum spaces were a little too fast to get the opportunity to read the signs.
It's located at the top of a rather steep hill. There were steps so I wouldn't recommend going with wheels (although the museum does have ramps) .
Toilets are at the back of the museum.
The little gift shop has Interesting toys and souvenirs.

I went on a quiet sunny weekend in April, the area was clean, free of debris, the walkways and boardwalks well maintained. There were lots of stairs but also lots of opportunities to rest along the way. I suggest bringing a water bottle, I was grateful I remembered mine. I absolutely enjoyed the views, the history and friendly smiles.

A must go if you are in Quebec city. There is a lot of history here. The entrance is hard to find but once you make it in you're transported back in time. The guards and bare skin hats are on century and you can see them fire off a cannon everyday at noon. The museum where you buy tickets gives you a nice background on the citadel but the tour led by wonderful staff is definitely the highlight. Our tour guide was informative and very funny. Make sure you get free tickets to tour the governor general's quarters after your main tour. It is definitely worth going to see. We were lucky enough to only be in a group of three people.

This is one place you should definitely not miss when you're visiting Quebec City. We love history and La Citadelle de Quebec is a full of historical events between France, England, Canada and US. You cannot walk around the citadel without a guide since the fort is still an active military base. Thank you to our tour guide Marcus for the excellent walking tour of the citadel. He was informative and funny. The Royal 22eme Regiment Museum is also worth a visit with their amazing display of collection of the regiment's and the Canadian history, especially through the two world wars and the Korean war. We really enjoyed it very much.

Will be especially interesting for those who like history and military.

Really cool old fort right in the main tourism hub. You have to pay for the guide because it’s an active military base. Our guilds in English was great! Just about 1 hour in length, if that. Be warned, it’s almost entirely outdoors… if you’re going in winter, dress for it!

This historic citadel is still an active military base of the Canadian army. I recommend you book the guided tour in advance before visiting the place. Our tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. Knowing the history of the fortress and how strategically designed the citadel was interesting a lot. There's also a small museum that tells the full history of the fortress next to the ticketing office. The view of Quebec was also amazing!

We took the guided tour, which is provided both in English and French. Given its an active military base, the entry into the Citadelle is only through guided tour. The place also has free parking spot wherein you can park for max. two hours.
The Citadelle itself is beautiful with history behind it. However, dont expect it to be very rich in history in comparison to the European museums.

Informative tour offered in English and French. We took the tour of the military side, but they do offer a tour covering the government side as well. The docent was well informed and shared a great deal of history with us. A good walking tour of about an hour. Massive place we reached on a very warm September day as we came all the way from the Dufferin terrace, which was at the back of the Citadel (good to know if you want to go straight to the entrance of this place).
The Citadel is packed with history and it reminds me of so many fortified European cities all the way from the Atlantic ocean to the eastern part of the Med.
Lots of info around and inside the place, entrance of around 15 CAD (if I remember correctly), souvenir shop, toilets etc

Very cool historical place that is still the actual military base. We saw musical performances at 10am and had a guided tour on English. At noon, the military fires blank shots from a cannon. They have very nice museum with lots of artifacts from WWI. Also, changing guards is very interesting as well. You will not find anywhere in the world French speaking soldiers in British uniforms, and do not forget the goat.

Amazing... there is interactive games and people are there to answer all your questions and teach you the 40 steps to load that old gun... it so was so fun we have learned a lot... and there is that 4D movie about the war... it was well worth that 15$/person

It was one of the best museums We visited. Although limited or small in size, it offers a great experience. You can touch and interact with most of the things in the museum. There's an Imax style 30-minute video that tells the history of the plains.
On the second floor, there are soldiers' clothes from the 1750s era that you can put on with three accessories.
You can do the full museum in 90 minutes or less, including the video.

Some of the exhibits are geared towards children; others not. The film about the battles provides interesting information, although it runs too long for children’s attention spans. Included in the entry fee is entry to Martello Tower 1, a bit of a walk away from the museum. I found the tower more interesting than the museum. At the tower, you’re given a screen and headphones, which convey the construction of the tower and the life of soldiers posted there.

This was a very interactive museum but is based for younger children. I would highly recommend not visiting this museum considering there are many museums in the area that are better. The facts are based on witnesses, the clothing and other items to see are not from the past but are made today as a representation. The staff was nice but it felt like a complete waste of my time.

Best zoo ever. You have lots of proximity to the animals.
You have a good variety of animals.
One thing that is great at Miller Zoo is that you can see they care about the animals. They look healthy. One example is the tiger. He has the most beautiful fur I have seen from any zoo around the world.
Great job to the managers and employees.

The cast (most part) seems to enjoy their work and specially those sharing stories of the animals arrival, history or fun facts (those of bears are always interesting). Most animals are in good shapes, with space to hide from you when i imagine they had enough of being seen 🤭... yet a great experience for kids and adults. You get a “food court” at the entrance, parking and reste area.

My favorite zoo. From one month to the next there are constant modifications and upgrades to make the animals enclosures bigger and better. You can feel that they are here to help and the animals not just to bring in the tourists and that is ok with me. We visit like 5 times a year.
Catherine Manitius — Google review
Very friendly, welcoming zoo with close contact with nature
Went there with a friend, had barely heard about which is a shame, the place is great! Price is very very fair, the animal variety is nice and during winter you can go in the enclosures!
Would definitely recommend, but bring a pic-nic! They do have a small gift shop with chocolate bars and drinks but nothing else
Very family friendly, nice "home-made" feel and the animals are adorable and they look comfortable

I would give it a 1.5 star if I could. It is unfortunately far from the city and incredibly unorganized. You show up and end up in this massive field to wait for over an hour for a shuttle to bring you to the zoo, where you have to wait in line again to buy your ticket, since you can’t buy anything online. The total wait to even get in the zoo was over 2.5hrs and we still showed up decently early. It was so crowded and difficult to see anything or walk anywhere. Almost no COVID regulation was followed, even by the staff members. I overheard a staff member saying that there was over 5000 visitors that day, on a weekday.
The enclosures look like they barely make the minimum requirements for the animals. We only saw one animal being rehabilitated. Many enclosures are under renovations or empty. Unclear signs as to where the animals are or which animals are in what enclosures.
The only feeding time we were waiting for was for the lion one, with about 200 other people. Turns out we waited for no reason because there was another lion enclosure and all of us were at the incorrect one. They should be the times written on the enclosures for clarity.
The only thing I did enjoy was the little monkey in the attached photo. We completed the park on under 1.5-2hrs and left incredibly disappointed. On the way back we took the little shuttle that did not take us to our parking field, but to another shuttle that then took us to our car. To be clear, we waited almost 30 minutes for that shuttle.
Overall, the Miller Zoo looks like it’s a zoo that got big too quickly and it couldn’t keep up. Watching it on TV will be a much more enjoyable experience and a chance to actually see some animals. With the price we pay to go to the zoo, hopefully they will put it to good use.

Such a beautiful spot for a short or long hike! The stretch by the water is beautifully landscaped, then there are different paths to take, including 7 chutes, which is totally worth it.

What a great rafting trip. We did the Kennebec river on short notice. Chris was a fantastic guide, as good as I have ever had on a trip. Prep, navigation and excitement done well. I recommend going from the forks location as it shortens the bus ride significantly. The meal at the end was superb

We had an awesome time with U.S.Rafting the staff really was friendly and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of having the “legend” Jonny Mac as our guide he was great! Laid back guy with a good sense of humor felt super comfortable with him as our guide. After rafting we gathered for a bbq back at headquarters was a great day! with great people! would definitely recommend we will certainly be returning!

We checked in very easily with normal waivers. We got our so you don't die training.
Then a short bus ride. Passed a couple of nice spots on the way. The dam was impressive and the 9/11 upgrades are nice. It was very easy to decend with the raft. My wife is 5 foot and she had no issue.
Very easy boarding situation the next 30 min were very enjoyable class 4 rapids. Even a few places to do a little float rapids.
The river flowed nicely with safety gear placed all along the route. I felt very relieved knowing that they took safety so seriously.
Adrenaline rating top 30min was 4 out of 5
Bottom part of run was class 2 and 3 moving quickly. Couple nice spots strategic camera shots.
Ive been on trips where lunch is on the river. Usually some burgers or hot dog etc. Not really awesome.
Honestly the way US rafting does it you get a delicious meal with steak, green beans, baked beans etc. Was great because while we ate they showed all the great pics for us.
Great experience TY

We took a four day weekend and came up snowmobiling. The lodge was cozy and very nice and we had a blast thank you Bill for being so accommodating and for letting us have fun with not worrying about anything else. I would highly recommend this place for anybody contemplating or planning a trip up north. West Forks is a small town but everyone up there is very nice. US Rafting is my spot now and I'm looking forward to making this an annual or semi annual winter trip. I can't wait to go rafting now with them now !!! see you in a couple of months

This company is the best! I have been 4 times with US Rafting and wouldn’t go through any other company. Equipment is always clean and in top shape, check in is fast and efficient, lunch afterwards is always delicious. Most importantly though, THE GUIDES!!!! Seriously these guys couldn’t get any better. It’s always loads of fun, great humor, and super upbeat the entire trip. My family and I will absolutely be back again!

U.S. Rafting is THE BEST. I had the best time ever with Billy and the rest of the U.S. Rafting Crew. I was a first time rafter, and they made it fun and exciting. I would recommend anyone heading up North to raft contact them. The accommodations were excellent, very clean and spacious. We already have plans to come back this summer.
Three Rivers Whitewater offers an unforgettable experience with amazing rafting and kayaking adventures. The river guides are well-trained, knowledgeable, and create a fun and energetic atmosphere. The ease of registration and overall organization make the trip hassle-free. While some visitors were disappointed by the lack of post-trip entertainment and limited photo options, the bunkhouse accommodations received praise for being well-built and suitable for families. Despite these minor drawbacks, many highly recommend Three Rivers Whitewater for an exciting outdoor adventure.
Been rafting numerous times on different rivers with Three Rivers, along with kayaking and tubing. We've had an awesome guide every time; all very knowledgeable of the river, and great people to be around. I never doubt their skill navigating the river and we always feel comfortable knowing that they can handle an emergency if one were to arise. This was the first year we brought children (youngest one age 10), and the guides did a wonderful job with them - helping them out, comforting them about the rapids, and praising them for their hard work and bravery.
Along with the guides, the staff is also very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the bunkhouses at the Kennebec location this year - they are clean, very spacious, and the mattresses were way more comfortable than I thought they would be! The shower/bath houses were also extremely clean and well taken care of. The store is awesome, has everything you need! And the restaurant/bar is great, too!

We stayed in the Carriage House, a sweet apartment with a kitchen, delicious bathroom, and the the most comfortable beds. We loved seeing the deer in the morning and the luscious food in the restaurant. Had a beautiful hike up to Moxie falls, and all around a great time. Thank you Three Rivers for your gracious hospitality! Coleen & David

Three Rivers was amazing! We went as a group from Bates College as a "final trip" for the year, and they were incredible hosts. We arrived Friday night, and they prepared a great meal for us and karaoke. We then camped on their lawn area. The bathrooms are well-maintained and have showers as well. They prepared breakfast and lunch for us the next day as well. We rafted in about 8 different rafts down the Dead River, which was a fantastic opportunity! The guides/staff were fantastic and very kind, along with willing to answer questions while also giving an in-depth safety speech/demonstration. Overall, I would absolutely come back for more rafting!

We had a blast on this trip! This is an awesome adventure, we went on a release day so the river was pumping, our guide Hailey did a great job of getting our raft to work together to navigate the rapids. We also camped for a few days on the Three Rivers grounds, our site was on the water, and felt very secluded although all the modern conviences were just a few minutes away, the store is well stocked and the bar and grill have great options for drinks and prepped food. There are other great restaurants and and Inn's in the area where the hospitality is second to none. This will for sure be an annual trip.

The folks at Three Rivers Whitewater Rafting are awesome. Our experience was one that we will never forget. It was made so much better by the ease of registering for two outings (kayaking and rafting) on the river on two consecutive days, checking in (the day of), and the overall organization of their system.
Our river guides Bobby (Kayaking) and "B" (rafting) were extremely well trained and prepared for all contingencies. Both were very congenial.
We had a blast - memories for the rest of our lives.
I would highly recommend Three Rivers Whitewater Rafting.

Had an outstanding time rafting with 3 Rivers. The energy exhibited by all the guides was infectious. It is clear they love what they do and truly enjoy and support one another.
Our guide, Sam was knowledgeable, professional and extremely competent. She shared many interesting facts about the river and pointed out some very interesting areas as we cruised along in the current.
If you have ever thought about a rafting trip, Three Rivers is the place to go. Ask for Sam to guide your trip! You will NOT be disappointed.

This was truly a magnificent river rafting experience, the staff in all areas of the experience were super nice and helpful and encouraging. They went out of their way to make sure you had a great wonderful time and had such a way with getting you to interact with the water and the raft so you can do anything like surfing the rapid, that was the coolest. It was also amazing how they made sure you got to fill every part of that river while getting your adrenaline rush and still feeling amazed at the scenery is incredible. I highly recommend everyone to use this company for their first or multiple rafting trips!!!!!
The food is really good as well.!!!!!

Our group of 8 went for white water rafting on the Kennebec River with Three Rivers. It was an amazing experience. Many of us were first time rafters and everyone did an excellent job with the instructions and safety training. Our guide, Parker, helped us through all the rapids safely, told us fun facts about the nearby surroundings, and let us jump into river, swim around, and do cool tricks on the rafts. The team also served us lunch, which tasted amazing. Very fun experience and the team is very friendly, and caring. Lots of fun!

My son, his pal, and I did our first white water rafting trip with Danielle from Three Rivers Whitewater. It was an awesome trip. Danielle was knowledgeable, entertaining, and a great guide. The location is easy to find and the lunch was delicious. Although other services feed you on the river, finishing the trip and making our way back to Three Rivers base camp was perfect as we could change and clean up and have a very leisurely lunch. We will definitely raft with them again and look forward to a fun trip on the Dead and the Penobscot.

I had such an exhilarating, fun day whitewater rafting with Three Rivers, that I booked the following day to do it again! Both trips were awesome, but the first day, our guide, Haley L., really stood out. Her enthusiasm, knowledge about the River and the rapids and skill navigating our boat were amazing! Her excitement was contagious and her ability to pass on her knowledge and communicate what we needed to do was exceptional. The bond and team she fostered amongst strangers continued after our rafting with a luncheon and slideshow at the Bar/Restaurant. Good food and drink wrapped up a wonderful experience in all facets at Three Rivers!
The cabin we stayed in was clean, rustic and just a short walk to the river complete with a BBQ, frig, fire pit and slept 8 at a very reasonable cost. Add to that a thorough safety briefing, a shop for anything you might need, great staff and restaurant/bar and don't think you'll find a better place to raft! My next rafting trip will be at Three Rivers and the other rivers they explore!! Go there and have a blast!!

The food is good, the beverages were affordable, the waitress at dinner was great.

Very fun experience! I came with a big group and we camped for a night and then went whitewater rafting the following morning. The campsites and bathrooms are nice, and the food is good. Just had our first re-visit in 12 years. The rafting, our guide Ellery, and food were amazing!! We stayed in a bunkhouse which was well-built and fit our family of 4 perfectly. The biggest disappointment for us was the downgrade to a few river pictures only. In past years we've had an entire video montage to share with friends which excited more people to go the following year with us. Also, there was nothing to stay for in the evening after the trip. However, I definitely recommend Three Rivers and will be returning! Grab your friends and sense of adventure, and head to TRW for some high water fun!!!

I will only go rafting with Three Rivers Whitewater from now on! 8 of us went together in one raft with our guide, River. River was amazing - he told us clearly what to do, we did it, and he encouraged us the whole way. He was good at reading our group dynamics and keeping things fun for us, teaching us as we went along, answering my hundreds of questions I had (he was also very patient). We met most of the other guides there too, and they were ALL super friendly, inviting, fun, and kind. They all knew what they were doing and I would trust any of them to keep us safe. We had a great day at the high water release on the Kennebec September 23rd and successfully conquered Maytag! Campsites were great too.

A group of my friends booked a white water rafting trip with Three Rivers for the Dead River release on Labor Day weekend. We had the most amazing time start to finish. We camped at a beautiful site right on the Kennebec River at the Three Rivers campground. The hospitality was wonderful and we really felt like part of the family. As for the rafting, it was the funnest time of my life. Our guide Fletch was amazing and was able to quickly gauge our ability and sense of adventure and was able to give us exactly the challenge we asked for while maintaining safety. My Three Rivers Rafting experience was outstanding. I came on my 67th birthday, to celebrate my love of nature and white water rafting, and I was not disappointed. I was in a boat with Jake, our guide, and six other individuals who would come by themselves. Everyone was very nice and six of us I’ve been with TRR before. I can’t recommend this company highly enough and you will have a phenomenal experience joining them.
Basic tents & cabins in a casual riverside retreat with a pub, plus fishing, rafting & hiking.
I am so glad we signed up to go rafting with these guys. They had everything we needed to stay warm and safe; wet suits, jackets, helmets, PFD's. They reviewed safety with us several times. All the guides were funny and knowledgeable. Our guide was Ben and he was AMAZING! Very personable, super knowledgeable about the river; great sense of humor and made everyone feel comfortable; no matter our age and skill level. He had us do several ' maneuvers' to make the trip even more fun. Just can't say enough about him and the trip and how great it was. We also did a moose tour the next day and Dana was our guide. He really knew his areas and moose information! Great time! Will definitely recommend North Country Rivers to everyone!! Karen and Ashley from FLA.

What a wonderful whitewater rafting experience !! I highly recommend it.
We stayed in the cabins for two nights, had all our weekend meals at Patrick's Pub on site, and did the Ultimate Turbine Test on the Kennebec River. Everything about it was outstanding! All the staff, from the check in people to the restaurant servers to the guides were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and appreciated.
Our guide was Gabe, and he was fantastic all day. He trained us well and always told us in advance what to expect. And he assured us that if anyone fell out of the raft into the river, or if the raft flipped, everything would be alright and advised us to remain calm. Well, I fell out! It was an exciting and thrilling experience. I stayed calm, and Gabe very skillfully dragged me back into the raft. Thanks, Gabe! And on we continued!!!
Definitely one of the most fun days of my life !!!!

I have been rafting with North Country for almost 20 years with my family, church groups and every year I go with customers once or twice. My experience is always the exact same: every guide is professional, safety conscious and very entertaining as the rafting trip progresses.
You'll particularly enjoy Jim's guides all work in Patrick's Pub and provide so much insight into your rafting trip as they serve the meals and drinks at Patrick's. The food is great pub food and we've never had a bad meal there. The campground has open spaces for groups, or a little more quiet hidden spots for camping and the cabins are always clean. The atmosphere is wonderful as guests are treated so well. I highly recommend staying at the site.

Absolutely amazing experience, staff, equipment and restaurant. I can honestly say that when I showed up I was nervous about the trip. I had never been white water rafting and after watching every horror trip video on YouTube my anxiety was through the roof. The staff use homegrown comedy and banter to ease the stressful situation and made me feel instantly comfortable as if I was rafting with friends. My husband and I took 4 kids (two 9-yr and two 11-yr) to join the half day white water rafting in late June 2023. North Country Rivers was very thoughtful by assigning two guides, Hayden and Cody, to our raft, while the other rafts each had only one guide. The water level was high due to the rain over weeks and the recent release from dam. We all had a fabulous time without any accident. Hayden was very experienced, calm, and cautious to guide us through some rough rapids. Kids had a blast nonstop laughing. Hayden even brought some gummy bears in a secret container to cheer up a teary brother from a sibling conflict. The end of the day buffet at the lodge hit right to the spot. Each of us went back for the second serving. We all would love to come back - next time will be a full day trip :)

We parked our RV on site (2 nights) and took the Kennebec river 4 hour tour (Myself and my 11yo Daughter). River was great, our guide, Dana was the best. There is a gas station/grocery right across the street, which was very convenient in an RV (although took away from the wilderness of Maine aspect a tiny bit...) Quiet, not crowded RV spots (there was 1 other RV while we were there, with water/power/fire pit) Some trails to walk/hike on the property. Would absolutely reccomend/return.

The lodge has fantastic food. We stayed down below by the river in a framed tent. Shouldn't expect too much in a situation like that but the cots were comfortable. we provided our own sleeping bags and pillows. There was a light and a fire pit out in front along with a picnic bench. Absolutely fantastic time with family. The money that you spend for the videos is not something that I would recommend. We spent approximately $60 for the videos, which totaled less than 30 seconds of combined footage of our run. No b-roll or anything else of that nature with regards to the campsites and / or large interaction with guests. The cameraman was excellent, very courteous, but I think the photos are overpriced for what you're getting.

For ATV enthusiasts, Bingham’s cabins are a haven of unparalleled joy. These cabins aren’t just situated near the trails; they provide direct access to a sprawling ATV trail system, making it a seamless transition from cozy cabin to adrenaline-pumping adventure. This ease of access means you can effortlessly enjoy multiple rides throughout the day, returning to the comfort of your cabin in between.
The surrounding terrain and trails cater to a variety of skill levels, from beginners seeking a leisurely ride to experienced riders looking for challenging terrains. The convenience of having such trails right at your doorstep eliminates the need for long hauls or transport, making it an ATV rider’s dream destination.
In addition to the trail-centric perks, the cabins themselves are well-equipped. A fully-stocked kitchen allows you to prepare hearty meals to refuel after intense rides. The fire pit is a perfect spot to share stories of the day’s adventures, while indoor and outdoor seating ensures everyone has a comfy spot to relax and recount their exhilarating ATV experiences.
Moreover, the cabins’ strategic location opposite a supermarket, gas station, and car wash is invaluable. Refueling your ATV, restocking supplies, or even giving your ride a quick wash becomes hassle-free.
Though tempted to dine out at the nearby Patrick’s restaurant, they seem to be running a bit short-staffed. However, if you have a penchant for patience, their dishes, especially the fish & chips and burger, are worth the wait.
In summary, if ATV adventures are what you seek, coupled with the comforts of a well-appointed cabin and nearby conveniences, Bingham, Maine should be at the top of your list. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience. Highly recommended!
Intimate museum specializing in American & contemporary art, plus some Chinese & European works.
Top class art museum! They have many inspirational and thought provoking works from across time (they have a great Hellenistic collection for such a small in university). There was a tasteful homage to native American artists. They even had a weiwei piece that I'm especially fond of. I didn't have enough time to see all of the work... And there was a whole wing closed down while a new collection was being installed!
I was not expecting to experience such a quality collection when I showed up on a friend's recommendation. I have to return because I could only scratch the surface in my 3 hour tour.

I don't have a ton to say as my wife and I only stopped by briefly as a detour from traveling.
From what we did see, this museum had a quite a diverse collection of art, mostly American. It was far larger than expected, we were overwhelmed but in a good way. There is a lot to see here if you are willing to explore.
One of the best parts: It's free to the public. We will be back when we can take more time to appreciate the collection!

They were currently in the process of adding a new exhibit so part of the museum was closed but even with that there were plenty of beautiful pieces to enjoy
Town of Skowhegan by Yvonne Jacquette was definitely the favorite piece of the day. My five year old really loved how the artist was able to make the vehicles on the bridge look like they were going fast. 🚗💨

Wonderful museum. Has a Starbucks booth inside, which helped me stay alert for the long drive back to Aroostook County. The exhibition was displayed in a manner that allowed viewers to follow the progression of the artist's interest in his subject. Fabulous collection and exhibits.
It’s worth a visit.
David Jacobson was a fantastic teacher and his work is beautiful. We took a lesson from him and i cannot recommend it enough. The location of his studio is in the peaceful countryside of Maine. The breeze through his studio and all the fans makes it somewhat comfortable even in the summer, although it’s still a hot glass studio. I can imagine in winter it’s the best place to be!
David goes through all the steps to make a creation of your own. You get to pick your own colors and help blow the glass. He’s patient and ensures a stress-free experience. He provides water and a clean bathroom as well. We are excited to come back and try our hand at this again. Thank you David!

I attended a free glassblowing experience during Maine Craft Weekend, and it was fantastic! David's shop sits in a beautiful location, and his teaching style is easy to learn from. I had never done anything related to glassblowing ever, and my boyfriend and I each walked away with a lovely drinking glass that we made ourselves and still use to this day! His personal glassblowing collection is for sale and I also purchased a lovely glass pumpkin from his shop. Highly recommend stopping in for a glassblowing session, you will not be disappointed!

DO go out of your way to have glass blowing lessons with David. He's fun, personal, and informative. We had a great time and look forward to another visit in the future. Youll need to be nearby 12+ hrs later later to pick up or hell deliver your final pieces after they do a slow controlled cool down in a oven. David also has an AirBNB to stay at making a trip there even easier. You can also just visit to see his studio and buy his gorgeous works of art.
Exhibits & collections documenting many aspects of the state's cultural & natural history
This museum is centered all around Maine people and history there. Several rooms filled with items that highlight Maine in the past. We loved it there. Undergoing renovations now, I can't wait to see it again when the time comes to reopen. Hopefully, it will be soon!

It is definitely the best value for the money of any museum I've ever been to. So many great exhibits to browse through. Fun for all age groups and interests. Multiple floors but easy to maneuver and get around. Nice little gift shop attached to it and very friendly staff throughout making it a wonderful overall experience.

I have lots of memories of coming here as a kid and enjoy bringing my own kids a few times a year. The museum has lots of great exhibits about the history and animals of Maine. The third floor houses exhibits that change regularly. From the museum you can also walk over to the State House which is beautiful inside and has a few more dioramas that feature animals from Maine.

This place had a little bit of every thing about the history of Maine. Can spend couple of hours seeing the displays.
Located in Waldoboro, Morse's Sauerkraut is a renowned MidCoast establishment that offers a unique blend of deli and luncheonette experiences. The shop has upheld the tradition of Virgil Morse, who began crafting sauerkraut from scratch in 1918. In addition to their signature kraut, Morse's boasts an impressive selection of fresh sausages, tinned fish, craft beers, and cheeses.
This place rocks!!!! U can sample cheeses, meats and much more. I had one of the owners assisting me. She knows a lot about the products. She let me sample lots of meats and cheeses and most of it I bought. Spent almost $200 there. They are thinking of trying to make a Morse Hot Sauce.

Very deceptive little place on the outside but on the inside.... they have everything. Deli meats, cheeses, canned meats, specialty items galore. They let you sample cheeses before you purchase as well as the deli meats. This place is a.maz.ing! Recommend this place highly!

Very unique shop with many items from Germany as well as the deli section with meats, cheeses, kraft, and so much more. While studying the kraft cooler, I happened to notice some wrapped muffaletta sandwiches. Grabbed one to try. Its one of the best I have ever had! Plenty of meat and olive toppings. Enough for two to share! Also a nice selection of German beers!

This unassuming building holds the most incredible collection of European specialty items!! Predominantly German..but French and Italian are represented too! Jams, oils, candies and sodas, a cheese and meat counter (they are quick to let you try before you buy!) and if course- their famous made there sour kraut and pickles!!! You can spend hours there poking around! Lovely people working there too!!

I love the location of this little joint. It is literally located in the middle of nowhere. Located on Route 220. Ample parking. Not very busy here whenever I have stopped by to place a take out order. Their restaurant includes a shop of various products. Their menu items are very delicious. There are a few tables available for dining in. I love their mouthwatering Rueben sandwiches. Yum!!

So much stuff! I stopped by the grab the sour mustard pickles because I love them. I did NOT realize how awesome this place! Came for pickles, left with over $100 of stuff! Definitely a hidden gem!

Great selection of meats, cheeses, olives, and of course kraut (which is really really good!)! Everything we tried was great and the cheese monger was super helpful! If you can't find your favorite European stuff here, you probably can't get it in the US!

The deli is delicious with a great variety (my husband and I had some Gouda and pepperoni). The market has a lot to choose from and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Morse’s Sauerkraut is located in the middle of farm country in Waldoboro, in an unassuming roadside building, but the moment you walk in, you have entered a gourmet import store and restaurant. Morse’s has been making their own sauerkraut and pickles for more than 100 years, and I’m not sure how long the shop has been open. They have a large and interesting variety of cheese, and they are enthusiastic about answering questions and providing samples. I always learn something when I stop in. In the sausage/deli cooler, they have German, Hungarian and Pork sausages, as well as imported hams, smoked pork, and other charcuterie.
The rest of the shop is devoted to imported products and ingredients, mostly German, and a huge selection of chocolates. We always stop by for our holiday candy for stockings and gifts.

You have got to stop here. It is amazing. All the pickles and kraut are just the start. It is wonderful. Wish the restaurant was open. It sounds awesome. Can’t wait to come back. The deli has a tremendous variety of meats and cheese. Don’t forget about the great selection of candy.

Went here on a beautiful fall day. The drive into this remote restaurant was stunning. The German restaurant and store is kinda awesome. Lots of product that you don't normally see. Various pickle samples. We ended up choosing the half sours. So good. The restaurant was fun too. Small room only five tables so we had to wait but it was worth it. Had the bratwurst with Sauerkraut and a reuben both were great. Fun outing.

We learned about Morse's sauerkraut when we ate Ruben sandwiches at Moody's Diner in 2018.
Got to visit Morse's Sept 2021. What a delicatessen! Incredible selection of international products, and homemade pickled vegetables and cured meats.
Don't miss this off the beaten path, longtime, Maine treasure. Get your next picnic lunch here! Nice people!
