Favourite park in London so far! It’s a big park with lots of recreational activities (e.g biking with family, picnics, outdoor barbecues, leisure walks, jogging, roller blading, etc). The parking lot connects to lots of paths that let you head to other parts of the park and it is along Thames river so you get to see lots of people on kayaks and migrating birds. Very relaxing and peaceful. Great place to unwind and take it easy.

Excellent playground with lots of things for the kids to do. Great paved pathway throughout the park, lots of wildlife to see. The wading pool is about 2 feet deep in the middle and it's amazing for kids of all ages. Hours of fun!

Massive public park with walking and cycling trails along the water. Great place to walk the dogs and enjoy the outdoors.

Very nice park. In the fall, a variety of colors. The river I think is suitable for rafting, the current is decent. Ducks and geese walking on all lawns and paths leave a lot of surprises))) it's a little uncomfortable. .the child liked it, a large area for running and walking. There are many barbecue areas.

One of the largest park in London, Ontario. You can have view of river from here. Water level was low when we were there.

Spending time in the Springbank feels refreshing, peaceful, and rejuvenating. The sight of lush greenery, the sounds of birds chirping, the smell of fresh air, and the opportunity to connect with nature can all contribute to a sense of relaxation and well-being. It's often a great escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing for moments of tranquility and reflection.

Such a beautiful trail in London !! You can’t miss this beauty if you want some peace, beautiful scenic views . There’s a golf course as well!

A gem in our city. Excellent walking path connects us with the Thames River. I prefer the trail when not so busy. Through the week in the morning is awesome. But generally people are courteous walking and biking. (Would be great if the Parks caretakers would cut back some of the scrub to see more of the River)

Today, is my first time being at Springbank Park since the middle of covid. Today being Friday August 11th at 6pm. The reason I am mentioning the date n time is because I was expecting the washroom to be open and it was not. There were other families looking got a washroom as well.....none to be found. Other than that the rest of the park experience was great. It's a beautiful park with lots of well maintained trails. Lots of benches and more on its way. Lots of improvements happening and I am excited to view the final version. 😊

Great for kids. Full of fun activity and there are great picnic areas. Perfect for a weekend gate away with your kids.
Nazia Ahmad — Google review
I couldn’t believe how big of a park this really is. You do see geese walking around but they are mostly harmless but I’d say never let your guard down. I did not see any security in and around the park so another reason to watch your back. Overall the park had good vibes, very green and beautiful! A couple passionate fisherman were spotted along the river but were lacking luck… I’d recommend this park if you want to go get some fresh air and relax and also suggest don’t stay there after dark. Free parking is available.
Valen Noronha — Google review
Pretty big park to relax and spend time with family. The storybook gardens is quite favourable for children’s as it has few rides for adventures.
Inder Saini — Google review
Such a gorgeous park, love the trees, the little friendly animals that were around. It's also a prefect location for the kids to play at playground or bike
Rania Abdulla — Google review
The park is spectacular right now with a superb display of blooming spring flowers and giant blossoming trees. Bring the family and friends for some magnificent photo opportunities. A walk through the Graham Arboretum section will definitely put a smile on your faces. There are about 20 kms of paved multi- purpose trails with some parking immediately adjacent to the paths which makes this one of the most accessible parks in London. The signage is clearly marked and it provides excellent information about the nearest public restrooms, picnic areas, and attractions. The long bridge across the Thames River offers wonderful views and beautiful photo opportunities. The ancient willow trees along the shoreline pathway are fantastic. There is a long staircase from the upper parking lot off of Springbank Drive but the lower park can also be accessed by the paved roadway at the end of the parking area.

Kids love this place...there is always something to do including a great splash pad... The washrooms need to be maintained properly and the Ferris wheel was not working second year in a row. Apart from that everything was great.

Lovely park to go for a walk, bike ride, roller blading, even to read a book.
This place has been around forever. Though it was my first time visiting, & I’ll definitely be back!

What a beautiful park. Bottle refill tap beside the restroom! We went there on a food truck day, so it was kind of busy, but also very quiet and relaxing down by the water! Only turn off was the over-flowing garbage cans everywhere :(

An amazing park anytime of the year! Well maintained, clean, with trails and lots of options! Lake Margaret is beautiful and watching the sunset there is the best! Great park to enjoy with the family and take pictures. Playground recently renovated and there’s a splash pad. Pavilions for rent are also available as well as picnic areas. You’ll love it!
Michelle Carmona REALTOR — Google review
Nice park for a leisurely stroll, small hike and exploring. Lovely walk along Pinafore Lake. Many ducks in the water at this time of year. Many people walking their dogs. Playground was busy with older kids, considering we were there in the late morning in the middle of the school week. Plenty of older folks playing tennis or pickleball. Large halls available for parties and such. Parking is very limited.

Such a beautiful park for bird watching. You can see orioles, goldfinches, canaries, catbirds. Amazing.
Szajen Skierska-Duffy — Google review
This park is tucked into St.Thomas but it’s absolutely stunning. There’s lots of parking, a nice walking path, many covered pavilions, a great kids playground and splash pad, even a beautiful waterfall.
Mandy Long — Google review
Beautiful park, splash pad area, clean only suggestion is a big sign at entrance, drove right by it!
B nat — Google review
It's a fantastic park. My only two issues are 1) The houses on the north side of lake Margaret kinda ruin the trail and 2) there aren't nearly enough garbage cans.
Ian Schrijvers — Google review
Love it! First time here and its so peaceful and pretty. Not sure why the track field is fenced and locked gated, I've never seen thay before but the locals must be accustomed to it because the fence is quite old. Margeret Lake is beautiful. I found a dirt pile to sit on for a bit and could have sat here all day listening to the birds and the water gently lapping 💖
Joanna Dubois — Google review
A truly pleasant surprise in St. Thomas. A leisurely stroll around Lake Margaret takes about one hour for the entire loop. It was really serenely quiet here on a Tuesday morning in early springtime.
Juliet Martin — Google review
Decent park for a night walk or exercise, they take good care of the landscape, there is some gazebo for photography or wedding.
Quynh Nguyen — Google review
Beautiful park with lots of fun activities to do. Very peaceful and organized. Plenty of parking.

The Pinafore Park is very nice and well maintained. Plenty of places to walk around, with empty fields, small trails that lead around the park. There's a very nice Memory garden with plenty brass leaf plaques situated on an old brick wall, right near a small waterfall that leads into Pinafore Lake. There's a small bridge across the waterfall near the lake. The park also offers a picnic pavilion, playground, splash pad, and several sports fields (tennis, baseball).
Mat Bienczyk — Google review
Beautiful park to take kids, picnic, throw a party, etc.
There are picnic tables and bbq is allowed, a good place to gather with family and friends, however, there is not enough parking lot/ space.
The playground and splash pad can keep kids busy and happy.
The washrooms are clean.
Banafsheh Khavaran — Google review
What a very nice park. Paved walkways make walking around the area very easy. You can walk right down to the waters edge which is nice. Plenty of parking.

Beautifully kept park. The canadian geese were everywhere Sunday morning.
There are alot of pavilions to have a picnic or a family get together. Public restrooms around the park if needed. An awesome way to have family time with your kids at the splash pad or kids playground..
There is so much to offer at pinafore park!
Much check this gem of a park out!

Great park for a stroll with the dogs. Well maintained. Also a great venue for the various events held during the year. A beautiful St Thomas asset. I have enclosed some pics I took last fall.
The Avon Theatre, a well-established performing arts venue within the Stratford Festival, boasts a traditional proscenium stage that hosts various plays, musicals and concerts. Visitors have the opportunity to take a backstage tour and browse through the connected gift shop. Although private boxes are available for those seeking privacy during shows, some views may be obstructed. The theatre showcases exceptional actors and elaborate sets to enhance audience experience, with productions such as An Ideal Husband receiving high praise from patrons.
An excellent theatre with outstanding actors and marvelous sets. The seating is good and you will certainly enjoy your time here. I saw An Ideal Husband, which I would also give a 5/5.

Went to see Chicago with a bunch of community members of the retirement home I work for. Amazing performance! The most entertaining and talented singers and dancers, and incredible staff! Even though we showed up a bit off schedule, the staff—especially the manager—just immediately helped us and got us into our seats in time for the show. So helpful, and had an amazing experience all around. Definitely recommend for anybody and everybody!!

This is a good theatre to catch a play. The seats are quite comfortable and the acoustics are great. The staff are friendly and quite helpful.
We saw Monty Python's Spamalot here and it was a laugh riot!!
Guru N — Google review
Nice theatre with good seats and a good angle so people could see. I did not see any terrible seats. It lets there be a closer experience than one of the big theatres. Just appreciate and enjoy the Stratford shows for what they are.
Alex S — Google review
Beautiful venue! Staff were kind, and everything was very clean. Be sure to check out the gift shop after your show, lots of goodies at reasonable prices to support the Stratford Festival.
Patricia Lawler — Google review
The Avon Theatre is right in the heart of downtown Stratford, which makes it so easy to visit! It's a beautiful theatre, renovated most recently in the 1990s, but in the traditional theatre style of old. I was there quite a bit this past year because it's where the Rocky Horror Show was playing through the Stratford Festival. IT WAS AWESOME!!
Shireen Sasani — Google review
We were very happy with how we were treated. We booked balcony seats and my mom has a walker. There are quite a few steps to get to the balcony and one of the workers stopped us right away and said she would find us seats in the special access area. They did and my mom didn’t have to do any stairs! Everyone there treated my mom like a VIP. We were so impressed! Thank you to everyone who helped!! We had a wonderful time!! We highly recommend the Avon theater to watch a show!!

It's such a great venue for live performances! Saw Spamalot, and our balcony seats afforded a great view of the production. The action was all over the stage, so our unobstructed overview was amazing. Excellent helpful staff and volunteers at the venue.
Thank you!

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. We had a fantastic night. Spamalot is one of the best shows I've ever seen. I can't wait to go back.
Rebee Leigh — Google review
I love the Stratford Festival so much. The Avon is a great theatre. They offer a behind the scenes tour, which I strongly recommend. The gift shop is also connected to the theatre which is a nice way to spend some time before the show starts. I don't recommend sitting in the private boxes. While nice and private you do miss part of the show for things that happen near stage left or right depending on which side of the theatre your box is on.
Sarah Clevenger — Google review
My first time attending an event here - Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis. Fantastic show. Great seat. Colin Mochrie, improvisor extraordinaire, and Asad Mecci, amazing hypnotist gave the audience an unbelievable, mind-blowing, "hotter than a pizza pocket", hilarious show.
Will be back for "Spamalot" in April.
Tim Gallant — Google review
Nice theatre overall, very friendly staff! The seating is very cozy, as in knees against the back of seats if you're tall or a larger person. The ambience is beautiful and you can see the entire stage without obstruction due to how the seats are positioned. The gift shop had some great finds as well.
Christina Pigeau — Google review
The theater is beautiful and staff are very friendly and helpful. But oh my God those seats we had were miserable! I'm 6ft tall and my knees were pulling up to my chest. I was so sore when the play was done. I know there are probably roomier seats but I'm sure that comes with a price. Gotta make ALL the seats comfortable gang.
Bob — Google review
Great way to spend an afternoon at the Avon Theatre in Stratford. Spamalot was a great production with humor, skilled dancing, and stunning vocals. Beautiful theatre - and as they recommend a wee sweater is in order. A bit cool in the theatre. Paid parking on the street ($1.50 an hour); free parking at the Cooper's Lot just 2 blocks away from the Theatre

Orchestra Row f is squishy. Surprisingly checked out the back row when we were leaving and there was a bit more space. Theatre is lovely, but some seats are cramped.
Chris Newman — Google review
A very nice venue. Friendly staff. Nice to get out of the big city and enjoy a fantastic show.
Douglas Burnett — Google review
Spamalot was crazy good. The actors hit every line. Did not expect to laugh that hard since I've seen the Holy Grail countless times. The dancing was incredible. The singing was on another level. Loved every second of it. Oh and the women... All of them absolutely gorgeous 😍
Mark C — Google review
Beautiful theatre. I’m a tall guy, so the balcony seats are too tight for me, but the orchestra seats are comfortable and provide plenty of leg room.
Michael Schroeder — Google review
Incredible theater. Very helpful staff made finding seats extra easy, and good flow for quick exiting after the show. Sound system was good, but occasionally the music overpowered the singers voices. Nice location with plenty of interesting businesses around to visit after the show. But parking can be challenging to find. Did not get anything from the refreshments or visit the amenities.
Contemporary venue at the Stratford Festival with an intimate seating area around a thrust stage.
Gorgeous new theatre! The setting is stunning, on the river. The stage is intimate; not a bad seat. The food and beverage bar is spacious, also saw that pre-ordered refreshments were set up as soon as intermission began. I'll remember that for my next play. So happy that the Stratford Festival is back!
Colleen Murray — Google review
Gorgeous theatre. Set in a beautiful locale at the side of the river with swans, herons, and rowing teams on it. The theatre is all gleaming glass and bronze-coloured metalwork and is stunning. There is a large paid parking area and on-street parking available. Inside there is loads of space for the cafe, gift shop, and many seating areas (standing tables, seated tables, and soft settee areas), and includes an outdoor patio accessible from the cafe area. The bathrooms are large, accessible, and very clean and well-stocked with paper and free sanitary items. The theatre area is staffed by very helpful, friendly, and well-informed personnel. The theatre is such that there really is no such thing as a bad seat. There is a stage that projects out into the room which is surrounded on three sides by banked seating. The stairs are steep and have handrails on both sides, but, for those needing help with using stairs, the staff are quick to offer either a helping hand or access to an elevator that goes to the stage floor level.

The new state-of-the-art Tom Patterson theatre is gorgeous both inside and out. It's been expertly designed to compete with all other world-class theatres. Beautiful! Can't wait for the 70th anniversary season to begin!

An amazing experience in a beautiful, light filled and airy theatre. The common spaces never felt crowded. You can see the river from wherever you are in the lobby. There were an ample number of washrooms and no queues.
The theatre space is lovely and seats were velvety and comfortable.
Be sure you enjoy the outdoor patio and the adjacent garden.

First, try the cafe for dining. My sister and I were delighted to have a riverside view, incredible food - so much better than expected. the cafe is open 2 hours before each performance. and the theatre is so well designed, from every seat is an incredible viewing experience.

We were here to watch a play during Stratford festival. Unlike the traditional stage to one side and audience seated to the other, this theatre has stage to the centre and audience seating around. This gives a different experience watching play and makes us appreciate the performers for their effort in capturing every corner’s attention

Stratford Festival’s newest theatre is a standout! Saw Brad Fraser’s adaptation of Richard II. Brilliant show, stunning architecture, outstanding theatre setting. Looking forward to seeing many more productions. Highest recommendation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ d

Exquisitely redesigned theatre and the gardens will certainly fill out as time passes. Loved the outdoor spaces and the beautiful textures of golden steel outside - and cream brick and marble inside. I wish the theatre seats were more comfortable but the thrust stage is intimate and powerful.
Mara Park — Google review
One of the finest Festivals anywhere. Top quality shows, venues, experiences. I've attended since 1979. More than worth the drive from the US.
Robert Doyle — Google review
The theatre has ample parking and is well located in town with a nice lobby, good range of snacks/drinks and lots of seating for pre-show and intermission, but we felt that it fell short in two areas. The theatre seats were very uncomfortable...firm bottom and back to the seats, very flat and a bit short on the seat back. As a 6'2" guy, my back was aching by the end of the show. The other was acoustics. I have been going to Stratford for years and found the actor's speech very muffled. They were seasoned actors so I doubt it was a projection issue, but other theatres by design tend to acoustically amplify the speech...everything just sounded dull and muffled to our whole group...made it that much harder to follow the story/plot.
Russ Mair — Google review
Inside the building on a bright sunny day is enchanting. The lobby is large and U shaped giving the audience space. The cafe and dining area on the river side of the building could be from a fairy castle the transition from outside to inside feels so fluid. Stairs come in at the top - if you have trouble stepping down you will want the back row. The stage is in the same shape as the old building - thrust. Seats are much larger, velvet and firm. Bathrooms have a large number of stalls. There are bars on both sides of the lobby but the river side is also setup as a cafe.
Coral Courtney — Google review
It was my first time at the New Tom Patterson Theatre in Stratford. Saw the play Wedding Band. Fabulous, fabulous performance. I sure hope have an opportunity to see another play there again soon. The way the seating in house has been configured, you can see everything clear and without obstruction from the person in front of you. Cleverly designed! The thing that was different in this theatre was you could take your drinks in with you. Not sure if I like that as the potential of being spilled on could happen. But maybe not??
Darlene C — Google review
Oh...my...goodness--what an extraordinary metamorphosis! The new theatre retains the intimacy of old, so valued by those of us addicted to Shakespearan performances. Yet the new facility is expansive, connected to the physical location along the river, and world class in its physical beauty. The sound is extraordinary, the experience reclusive. Hariri could not have done better in a single detail...an extraordinary architectural execution to a difficult transitional objective. Perfect! Bravo! Thank you!

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the merchandise, with Bailey on the first floor being particularly helpful. Visitors are advised to take their time exploring as there are treasures around every corner, especially on the second floor where incredible deals can be found at booths 987. It's recommended to visit on a cool day and be prepared to spend hours browsing through the unique finds.
We just found out about this place. They weren't kidding when they claimed it's the world's largest antique market. It's absolutely huge! Inconsistent pricing, as you can find something for 15$ and then find the exact same thing on the other side of the store for 5$. I don't know if that's intentional but it made it a fun shopping experience, like a scavenger hunt. Definitely keeps customers in the store longer buying more. Will definitely be back.

Staff are nice. Eagerly let us know it’s the largest antique mall in Canada. Worth time to search if you like antique. Feb will be cheaper month according to staff. Open 7 days a week 10-5

I love this place you always find something unique here. We found a great cast iron pan with a glass lid AND the most perfect 1970s or maybe 1980s Colman Poly-Lite cooler, bright orange too. This place is huge. And has 3 floors to check out. I recommend starting from the top floor and making your way down.

Worth the trip from the city to spend hours browsing the many aisles and rooms of this antique mall! The variety of items is endless and it's such a fun time exploring through everything! The staff is friendly and helpful - their numbered bin system for holding your items is genius. I'll definitely be back!

Wow one of the most awesome places I have ever been. 3 stories each with 100s of the coolest booths filled with endless good finds. I could spend HOURS in here and I almost did. Very clean, very organized, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This is a MUST stop in Woodstock!
I would never, ever have thought peanut butter goes on a burger, but this place makes it work! And Yep, it was a do over! Delicious, huge, fresh burger, amazing fries and while I would have loved it if they’d served 4 mozzarella sticks so we didn’t have to fight over the last one, all was good. Great brews, super Picard’s snacks to take home from the gift shop on the way out…a great place to ramble over to on your next road trip!

Great first experience at Ramblin' Road, another stop on the Toast the Coast trail. We stopped by last weekend as part of the Spirits of the Season passport event and were treated to a delicious beer sample and their in-house produced kettle chips. We left with more beer and more chips for home - both are great. We didn't have time to check out The Roost (restaurant) upstairs, but the steady stream of folks heading up there, and many positive reviews suggest that that is in our future. The taproom is cozy, but they have a large outdoor terrace for the warmer months. Staff are very friendly.
Enjoy a visit!

Nice little surprise in the middle of nowhere. Great beer and decent food. After having a flight with my lunch I bought a bunch of my favourites in the store downstairs. Great motorcycle destination below the 403 if you ride that direction. But don't drink and ride!!

Excellent service. Sat out front on the patio. Had the chicken on a pretzel bun with fries special and was delicious. High Road beer was good too!

This brewery not only has great beer but you have to go and have one of their burgers absolutely amazing!
Rambling Road Brewery is a great spot for craft beer enthusiasts in Delhi. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff that are knowledgeable about their beers. The brewery offers a wide variety of beers, from IPAs to stouts, and all of them are brewed in-house using high-quality ingredients. The tasting room is a great place to sample the beers, and there's also a patio where you can enjoy your drinks outside. The food menu is limited, but the snacks and small plates are tasty and pair well with the beer. Overall, Rambling Road Brewery is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious beer and a fun atmosphere in Delhi.

Fantastic local brewery with good beer and a great menu! They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They have a huge selection of different kinds of burgers! Something for everyone for sure, it’s a fun place to spend a few hours! I had the lamb burger and it was very good! My husband had the barnyard burger with hamburger, chicken and pulled pork...oh my!!
We also ordered a pizza for the table and it was very tasty as well, nice thick bready crust just the way we like it ❤️

It was ok. Frozen patties no big deal but lacking in juicy goodness. bbq is smokey but they don't mention that on the menu. I'm not big on smokey so I thought I would share that. Toppings were lacking in quality and quantity. The gravy was a huge disappointment because they add beer to it, and not a little bit... a lot! it literally tastes like you are dipping your fries in beer. Was really looking forward to the fries and gravy. Service was good. Didn't try the beer, there was enough in the gravy.

My local, love the staff, beers and food. This is a hidden gem and so worth the visit, they have monthly specials, my go to is the Blue Burger and onion rings, the beer is subjective but I have not had a bad beer, I like them all. Great place to visit on Motorbikes.

St. Jacobs Country Playhouse is a cozy and well-sized theatre located in the southwest of the province. The lobby features a bar and can accommodate most guests, while volunteers help you find your comfortable seats, which offer great sightlines and perfect sound. The parking lot is spacious, and the tickets are reasonably priced for the quality of performances offered.
I recently seen a country show with a live band. The staff where beyond welcoming and warm. I felt gently guided through all the covid restrictions without ever feeling like a burden. The seating was comfortable and refreshments where affordable for that type of venue.

A very nice small theater. All seating gives you a great view and the acoustics are very nice so it's easy to hear the actors as they perform. Lots of free parking and even a nice place outside to have your drink or snacks during the intermission.

I visited St. Jacobs Country Playhouse this fall, and watched Mary’s Wedding, a romantic drama. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys theater.
The theater was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The play was beautiful and moving, and the actors were superb. They made me feel the emotions of the characters and the story, the design elements were simple but effective.

Dec. 2019, saw Sleeping Beauty with our 6 year old grandchildren. Huge cast, great costumes and a lot of fun. A Panto so they could boo the bad guy, etc. A bit thin on plot but tons of songs and dancing. They loved it.
2017: We took our 4 year old triplet grandchildren to see The Little Mermaid on Wednesday. wow. Fabulous costumes..a cast of about 30 ... great music...The kids asked if they could see it again. (no, but it confirms they loved the performance)
Not a huge theatre in St. Jacobs so there are no bad seats.
If this were in Toronto, tickets would cost $125 to 200. Drayton Entertainment is so much more affordable. They don't have many events for children but the performances for adults are usually worth four stars, in our opinion. Always good value in any event.

We had such a great time seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat here. Very small venue which means no matter where your seats are, you will have a great view. We were very close to the front and the dancers were waving and gesturing at my daughter. It really made her first experience at a live play exceptional.

This cozy theatre is the perfect size. The parking lot is large and surrounds the building. The lobby can accommodate most of the guests and features a bar for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The seats are only a few stairs down from the lobby. Volunteers help you locate your seats, which are comfortable and wider than most. There isn't a bad seat in the house, and the sound system is perfect. The tickets are always reasonably priced and a good value for the quality of the performances.
Next door to the theatee is a very good, reasonably priced restaurant. There is a hotel on the other side and lots of shops within walking distance.

Third year attending. For a small town theatre the Peter Pan pantomime kept the Grandchildren entertained. Some of the same actors, similar "adult humor" gender/political etc. One noticeable difference is how during the performance they marketed ice cream available during intermission. My personal preference is that they would reconsider this sales pitch! Will likely go again next year.
Waterloo Park is a vast recreational area that features various facilities such as a splash pad, picnic sites, and sports amenities. It also has a farm and a mill replica, which adds to its historical significance. The park is well-maintained and is home to many peacocks alongside miniature horses, donkeys, and llamas. Visitors can enjoy the walking trails that weave through the park or relax in the beautiful flower garden near the cricket pitch.

I've usually considered Waterloo Park to be one of the better parks in the region. With the recent renovations by the lake it remains near the top. The boardwalks and small "sand" beach (not swimmable) provide a nice location to walk through and explore. There are bike/walking lanes, it's the ION station and not too far from several locations to grab a bite to eat.

It was wonderful watching the Jersey Boys. The staff were friendly and helpful as we had a bus load unloading all at once. This was my first visit to the HFT. My children and I saw the Sound of Music which is a family favourite of ours. Great performances by all, especially Maria, the Captain and children. The group singing of the actresses playing nuns was especially moving as they sang so well together. The performance of Climb Every Mountain by the actress who played the Reverend Mother was especially wonderful. When she hit the high note at the end I got teary eyed. Intermission was a bit rushed due to washroom lineup. Lineup for refreshments was also long though we didn't partake. All seats in the theatre seem to have a good view of the stage. Theatre was clean. Staff were pleasant. Will definitely come again.

The show itself was excellent (kinky boots). The theater however was ice cold and you could feel A/C blowing on you. People had jackets on, many just froze. The rows of seating were so close together that average sized people could not get by each other. I'm 5'2 and had JUST enough room for my knees. They need to have ropes to organize the concession stand lines. There was a large line that divided the room in half, blocking access to the bathrooms for those on the opposite side.
Production was great.

Beautiful facility but freezing cold in the middle of winter (December 10 2023) Even the two larger woman and man I was with were cold. As 90 percent of the audience looked to be over the age of 75 I don’t know if they did this to keep
Them awake but this is also the age group that needs to stay warm in addition to smaller people like myself who are also anemic and suffer from circulation issues. Thankfully I carry heat packs with me.
Overall , fiddler on the roof was an amazing show !

We went to this fantastic venue for the opening night of Jersey Boys. Great place to see a great show. Not a bad seat in the house!
Bonch Loomans — Google review
The theatre itself is a center for this community. It is well maintained and clean. We saw a "modernized" version of Jersey Boys. Although the music and story stay true to the Era, I was put off by some of the 'modern street language' used in the dialog. Maybe I am getting older, but looking around the audience, there was 90% grey, silver, and white hair.
I do not understand why the language has been changed the way it has.

Grew up here. Walk my dog on a daily basis and sidewalks are always clean. The grass on the other hand has been taken over by geese during the late spring early summer.
Great place for kids to play at the park and has train rides and the Ferris wheel. Across the river has golfing with frisbee’s.

This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Guelph. The gardens are gorgeous and are immaculately well kept. The “flower clock” brings back memories of visits from when I was a kid. Still feels kind of magical.
The actual park here is awesome too. The first slide my daughters ever went down is the “roller slide” here that moves a little slower than a regular slide.
They put on a pretty good Christmas light show that is worth seeing (the last two years it’s been a drive through event).
On top of all that, there are lovely walking paths that follow the speed river all the way towards Guelph Lake!
Riverside is a must visit for people in Guelph.

Twinkle in the park! Well run. Drove through very quick on new years eve. Beautiful lights. Although, I think next time we will walk through as it didn't seem as magical from the car. We parked at Canadian Tire and walked back to see the fireworks which were beautiful. The like for the free carousel ride was absurd! We didn't even consider going near it. Would have been a lovely touch to have little warm up fires and hot chocolate. Lovely overall. No fee for entry just donations to Lions club.

Visited over the weekend and it was a great experience. Although they didn't have a lot going on because of the cold and also just being open, it was still a great experience to see the maple tapping and listen and see how the sap is then turned into table syrup.
They do have actors/volunteers who show how this process, from tapping to making the syrup, has changed and evolved over the years.
The trails here are good as well and would definitely recommend this place.
We got some maple syrup to taste and they were absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend buying a few bottles from here if you can!

I went on a Saturday. The village homes and shops only open on Sunday but there was still plenty to see while walking by the old building and hiking the trails. The old shops and locomotive made for a very picturesque walk. Lots of parking and the washrooms were open and clean. There are 3 trails, each between 1-2km, flat and wide paths. The majority of the trails go through meadows but there are some denser forested patches as well that had some nice fall colours already starting. It's a good spot if you want to do a bit of trails and see the old village as both don't take very much time to do.

Had a great family outing for Maple Syrup Time! Stopped in at Ironwood to enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast. Fed a group of 10 for $50. Excellent and friendly staff. This place is a gem.

I would definitely recommend you to see a very important museum for Canadian history. And the volunteers working there were very helpful. I was honored to know him. We went with my wife and daughter and we liked it very much。It is a small but useful museum. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.

Excellent experience at the Westfield Heritage Village, Maple Syrup tour. Volunteers are the key element to keeping such an educational and fun environment for all of us. The two demonstrations were interesting. We tasted freshly made syrup and bought a few goodies from the sugar shack. Highly recommended.

Westfield Heritage Village is a beautiful way to spend a fall weekend. It should definitely be on everyone's autumn bucket list. Great for families, a first date. We had a lovely time showed up kidless for the Halloween party but had a wonderful spooky time ( we didn't realize there was an event). The staff and volunteers are amazing. Picturesque 🍁🍁 call ahead for parking reservation just in case .

My family and I truly live this place. Over the years we have had many great experiences. From pancake breakfast for maple syrup fest to the fairy forest event. We are hoping to get to the halloween pumpkin festival this year. A truly fun place with a real great staff. They are very knowledgeable on all the trades and traditions of the past. Even though we have gone there so many times, we still always find something new and fun to experience there. Well worth the trip. Keep up the good work.

Christina and Sandra were wonderful to work with, throughout the 2-year process of actualizing our wedding day and the challenges that came along. The venue is absolutely stunning, definitely a hidden gem, and I would highly recommend visiting during regular times throughout the year for the history, education, and charm. We will definitely return if we ever plan a vow renewal or anniversary celebration! (Photography by Emerald & Fox Photo)

The whole ambiance was lovely and informative about Canadian heritage and how they lived. Maple syrup sample was delicious. The trail to sugar shack has facts about maple syrup. Presentations were informative and fun. Also maple syrup process

This is a must visit place for all history lovers.. Great effort put together by the team to recreate the ambience and atmosphere all around you which will surely take you through a time journey. Amazing story telling and great presentation of the past will make you believe that every bit of it is real and as if they are living the same life like it used to be in the 1900s or 1800's. Enjoy the beauty of nature while walking through the trails and don't forget to taste the original, fresh, hot maple syrup on your way. Restaurant is also there to serve you hot fresh breakfast items. Overall it will definitely going to be a day we'll spend with friends and families.

Revisited Westfield after years of wanting to visit again, I went as a child with school and really wanted to bring my kids to see. Loved going through all the old houses and revisiting history. The only downfall was most of the houses weren't open, I remember as a kid sitting in the church and just memorizing how small it was compared to churches nowadays. The house was open but couldn't go upstairs, which was a bit disappointing as I wanted to show my kids how they used to sleep back then. Loved tasting the maple syrup, my kids really enjoyed themselves. They range between the ages of 9-4.
We will definitely go back again once my youngest is older.
The Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate is an elaborately designed Roman Catholic church built in the Gothic Revival style. Constructed in 1883, it boasts twin towers that dominate Guelph's skyline from its highest point. The church features intricate carvings and beautiful stained-glass windows depicting religious scenes that create a serene atmosphere inside.
Beautiful church, around an hour drive from Toronto. Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Basilica is of the High Victorian Gothic Revival style, inspired by the Cologne Cathedral, established 1876 (see plaque).
As you enter, there is a life size crucifix to the right, reminding the faithful to prayer. To Jesus through Mary.

This Roman Catholic Basilica is built on the highest point in Guelph and gives you a great view of the surrounding area. The architecture is stunning with intricate carvings and two imposing towers on the outside.
Inside you'll find a very peaceful space with a very high ceiling and stained glass depicting many religions scenes. I'm not sure if the public is allowed up into the towers but I'm sure the views would be spectacular!

I was in Guelph for an unrelated matter and went to visit the Basilica (note I didn't buy actual tickets but only walked in and visited the public areas). It's a beautiful church, nothing to compare to french cathedrals.of course (I'm from France) but very beautiful nonetheless. I was lucky to be there a Thursday afternoon while an organist was playing. It was amazing... I would love to go back to attend an actual organ concert if I get a chance.

Such an incredible piece of classic architectural wonder. From the incredible limestone to the Christian stained glass windows, this place is a sight to behold. Inside the church, its splendor is breath-taking.
I was here setting up for a wedding with #blackpinefloral and her gigantic floral arrangements seemed so small when placed near and behind the altar.
Beautiful place to be married!

Apparently, there are supposed to be spires that were removed due to safety concerns. Overall, the church is still breathtaking.

From ages 3. 7. 12. 14 all were excited and impressed as well as the rest of us adults. Dropped by on Canada Day and was surprised to see the door open. Going in made to read the sign to enjoy looking around and taking photos but also asking us to be respectful by being quiet, removing our hats and not bringing in drinks or food. Fair. The stain glass was a treat as well aa the interior architecture which was impressive as the outside. My 14 year old daughter was in awe. Very nice church indeed. I wanted to break out into verse of Holy Holy Holy lol.
It was a beautiful stop and a memorable one which cost us nothing.
The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is a museum that features dozens of Canadian military planes, as well as aviation exhibits and flight simulators.
Such a nice place to go with kids for fun and was very knowledgeable as well. It was very exciting to see war planes and how they work. Kids can actually sit in fighter plane cockpit and learn some features of plane ✈️ . Even for adults it’s very good and unique place to visit. Felt really proud of our soldiers. They also have cafe and gift shop . Gift shop seems expensive but they do have few unique items to buy. You need maybe 2-3 hours to see this place. Overall wonderful place to visit.

It's worthwhile to visit this place. You can spend 2-3 hours here depending on how interested you are in aircraft and Canadian aeronautics history. Kids can also have some fun as they get to sit in the cockpit of real fighter planes and if you are 12 and above they have a flight simulator as well.

Girlfriend took me here for a visit. It was a great experience overall. It's beautiful and a true staple of real world history. The volunteer guides are also great and provide you with a great deal of knowledge and expertise. The older gentleman, Mr. Alex, in particular was great and really enthusiastic to share his knowledge of the place and the history attached to it. They even let you sit on some of the planes and when the weather is good, you can fly in them.

We went with a group of 30 seniors. We had called ahead, so we had 3 tour guides. Wonderful tour guides, highly recommended to add to your experience of the museum. We have seen the Lancaster bombers fly overhead, now we were able to see how massive they are! Take your kids and grandkids to learn about the sacrifice many young men made for our freedoms. We were gratified to see a display about Operation Manna where food was dropped into the Netherlands after the hunger winter of 1944.
Thank you to your amazing volunteers!

I was stunned to see the actual warplanes in the museum. We were team of 10. Special thanks to our genius tour guide "NIKITA". He was awesome throughout the visit. He explained everything very well and even answered our questions. During our visit, he never seemed to be tired and was very eager to show us everything about almost all the war planes. If I were the owner, I would have given him raise. Keep on saying same things is sometimes annoying, but it seemed that he was enjoying his job and guided us the way like a professor. I really appreciate him and whole team of the museum.

Well curated with lots of info on displays. The Lancaster is so impressive up close.

This is one of the absolute best things to do in Hamilton. It's a fascinating look at the aviation technologies and hardware throughout the RCAF history, and to be able to get a good look and information about the planes.
The staff is VERY knowledgeble and also very friendly. You can book flights on some of the historic planes, but we chose not to. Also on dry days there are some other planes outside the building, we missed out as we were visiting during a downpour.
A great place to take kids too.

Excellent! We were met at the entrance by Mr. Tony Houghton, a volunteer at the Museum who guided us around the Museum for a couple of hours. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The boys, aged 4 and 8, enjoyed his attention to take them on a private tour of numerous planes where they could sit in the cockpits; and, he provided them with interesting and fun facts about the planes. We also enjoyed our lunch at the Museum’s Runway Cafe. The Museum is well-kept, the volunteer staff is courteous and the historic planes a must-see! We recommend this as a great place to bring kids of all ages, especially on a rainy day.

It's quite fun for everyone. Kids really enjoyed it, and so did I, but kids need more interactive stuff for kids to do and be more interested and aware of the history of these beautiful planes and the magnificent people and what this country has done for the people. also more information about all the planes, like guides telling people about what aircraft they are admiring and information about it. I found that alot of staff were just standing around or sitting around talking to each other and not actually doing anything like answering questions.

The Canadian Warplanes Heritage museum is a fantastic place to go to. Seeing these vintage aircraft on display is amazing. The hangar is full of Canadian military aviation history that everyone should go and see. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and have lots of stories about the history of these aircraft. The hangar is very clean and you can even go for a ride in one of their vintage aircraft.
You can jump into the pilot seat of some display aircraft, look at the avionics instruments, learn about aircraft technology, like engines/ ejection seats/ armament, and see how museum staff and volunteers are restoring these vintage aircraft back into an airworthy condition.
You may like seeing the beautiful art pinups girls or wacky characters that was painted on the aircraft's nose to boost morale of airmen and airwomen who served in Canada's armed forces.
I loved going here and you will too. If you like my reviews, videos or photos let your thumb soar high in the sky.

Our kid would love to provide his review on his amazing experience on Saturday , Feb 17 ( over the Family Day Weekend ) at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum .
I visited Canadian Warplane Heritage museum during the Family Day weekend in 2024. The place was busy and lots of families were visiting. They had lots of things to do and a ton of planes . The gift shop was near the entrance and was very big . There was quite a few build up airplane models to choose from . I picked an F-119 model. There was an astronaut session followed by autograph line up .
The various country flags displayed at this centre denoted the countries participated in receiving training in flying.
I came across a model of a plane showcasing how and where it carry’s its missiles on the plane. Also, I got a chance to hop onto a passenger plane which on warmer weathers takes flight. I saw the cockpit . It had loads of navigation related set ups . This plane takes a round of Niagara Falls at 35,000 ft height .
There was also a giant inflatable planetarium . It took me on a ride to the moon also explains how the craters are formed and every few million years lava arises from inside of the moon .
Overall the experience was really good . The only issue was parking was full and we parked in the over flow parking area.
The staff were very nice and explained how the planes worked . Kuddos to the team for organizing such an exciting experience .
If you are 12 years and above you could also take part - Flyzone at Canadian Warplane Heritage museum . I look forward to this next year as well !!

I recently visited the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were immersed in the rich history of Canada's aviation contributions during WWII. The highlight of the visit was definitely having a tour guide. Their passionate storytelling brought the planes to life and moved us emotionally with tales of bravery and sacrifice. Learning about the restoration efforts behind each plane added another layer of appreciation for the museum's dedication to preserving history. Without a doubt, this museum is a must-see for anyone interested in aviation or WWII history. Highly recommended!

It's always fun visiting the Warplane Heritage Museum on a rainy day. They have loads of aircraft used by the Canadian military from World War II and later. If you're lucky, you can see the engineers working on the aircraft, you can walk around the hangar, step aboard a few of the planes, and in the spring to autumn months even pay for a flight on one of the classic aircraft. They have a cafe onsite if you're hungry, and also flight simulators if you are interested. Great for young children.

This is an interesting place to visit. There are so many rooms to see and history to think about.
The only reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because the group is pretty big for the size of most of the rooms. For us, we had this group of 5 who thought it was their own personal tour. So they would take their time looking at the rooms and taking pictures while the rest of us would have to wait. Then the tour guide would start explaining the room before everyone was in.
I would definitely recommend visiting.

If you live nearby Hamilton, this is such a nice and interesting stop. You will need just to go to the Museum, around 1 hour and half.
When you park, go directly to the Gift House and from there, they will check you in and you will start the tour at your arranged time.
Our Tour Guide, Sapphire, was sooooo cheerful, knowledgeable and passionate that made our experience a great one.
I visited with my elderly mother and I was delighted to see that there were enough chairs to seat between rooms. Be aware, that there are a couple of stairs that might be uncomfortable for an elderly person but I think this doesn’t mean it will disrupt your experience of the tour.
Great experience in this “mini- Casa Loma” 😎

Dundurn Castle is so worth the visit (and only about $15/person)!
The tour lasts about 1 hour.
Parking is free.
You'll have to book tickets online — but you might also be able to walk in and book in person (if it's not a busy day). You can also see (online) how many others have already booked for each tour guide sessions.
We went at 2pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. Parking was easy.
Our tour guide (Michael) was excellent!
When we went, they also had a "cook" that gave us small shortbread squares.
The castle itself feels like a big, old mansion — rather than a "castle". But it's still fascinating.

Only guided tours are allowed, so you can't go into the Castle on your own. But worth it. The tour takes about an hour and 20 mins. Very fun. We had a wonderful guide.
The Castle has an interesting history, and lots of character. Our group was small, which I learned later we were lucky to have. Our friends had 12 in their group, and they said it was too crowded. We had 8, including 3 kids. Perfect size.
I recommend checking if the kitchen is open, because it generally is and you get to taste some yummy things prepared in the Castle kitchen from old recipes.
We all enjoyed the tour. I honestly recommend it.

Pretty cool place to tour. Not sure it is a "castle", more like McNabb's Mansion, but so be it. Fascinating to see how the wealthy lived so far back, almost 200 years now. Big place, so many rooms, nothing terribly large. Great staff, the guides really know their stuff and make it easy to understand and see how people would have lived. Fascinating family, didn't know that he was a pre-confederation equivalent of Prime Minister, and his daughter is an ancestor of Queen Camilla. Stuff you don't learn in school!

This museum ship is open to the public in Hamilton and is a National Historic Site. It served as a naval battleship from 1943 until 1963 and is now preserved as a museum. The ship is easily accessible from its berth at Pier 9 and features many veteran Naval Officers who volunteer as guides.

Great place to visit. At the time of my visit covid restrictions were in place so some areas of the ship were off limits but it was still well worth the trip.
You can get a real appreciation for the hardships our navy went threw in WWII and Korea. There are numerous friendly knowledgeable staff positioned around the ship to explain the history and features of the ship.
Admission is ridiculously inexpensive and there is a nice gift / souvinir shop.

We love going here. It is an amazing part of Canadian history. Staff are friendly and provide lots of info. Staff are stationed throughout the ship to answer questions. The ship is well maintained and has info posters throughout. There is also a small park area for some shade. Lots of parking. Also has a museum and gift shop on site.

Absolutely fascinating place to visit. It's like stepping back in time. This WW2 vessel is the last of its kind. You can tour the ship on your own or have a guided tour. Do yourself a favor and visit this National Historic Site, you won't be disappointed.

I visited during the time HMCS Harry DeWolf spent docked along side Haida, so this is where the photos are from. If you are interested in Naval ships or history, this is a great way to spend a day. There is lots to learn about the ship, and its history.

The tour was amazing. Very informative. Actual military personnel giving details of the different areas on the ship. Some areas difficult for a person with mobility issues. Would differently recommend it to all Canadians to take the adventure. Great history lesson, Loved it!!

I was waiting for last two years to visit this historical place. Very well maintained, staff was very friendly and helpful to provide you information if you have any questions. There were volunteers who actually served for country and worked on actual working ship in navy who have gave us detailed guided engine tour. We wondered and amaze with the history of the ship and it was definitely worth to spend time here. Make sure you come with flexible clothing because there is lots of small area to go up and down with the standing ladders. Make sure about head and foot because of the low areas and bumps on the floor.

I honestly came to the Haida on a whim and the blue attraction sign on the highway. I didn't know what to expect and ended up having a great time. There's a lot of history here and it was great to be able to actually climb aboard.
You have access to quite a lot of the ship, just mind your head and feet. And expect to climb a ladder or two.
The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable.
Admission was all of$4.25. I took the go train down so I can't comment on parking.

Was the perfect Father's Day activity. There were some places blocked off, but the joy of seeing my husband back on her after 28 years was special. It has been worked on and kept up. Info plaques and little extras like plastic food made visuals interesting for new eyes. The staff were always chatty and asking if there were any questions they could answer.
It's a must see. The mini museum/gift shop was also nice to visit.

Faith, service, courage, and honor are the tenants that the Canadian Navy holds dear. Each year thousands of brave men and women dedicate their lives to serving under this maritime service branch. Scratching your head wondering what things to do in honor of the Navy?
I’m not typically one for museums and ships… but this was an incredible visit that blew me away. The museum Ship is laid out with tons of displays, some interactive, historical facts and exhibits and provides a chance to really explore the labyrinths of this vessel.
The volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly, as they provide guidance on how to best experience the museum. I HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for something to do while in Hamilton.
I highly recommend to visit with the family and childrens.
Parking is free

A great way to get a concept of what a real ship is like. There's staff along the way to help answer questions.
Was lucky to have been able to tour on Canada Day and see the 40MM boffin guns both fire. Blanks of course. They were fired at 2pm. Didn't ask if this is a regular thing but if you go on Canada Day in the future you can likely see the guns firing.

An overdue due visit to a great piece of Canadian Naval history. Great stories from some of the knowledgeable and friendly guides. It was a beautiful day to watch the guns fire and participate in the 80th anniversary celebration. It's great because it's outdoor and indoor and you can either do guided tours or walk around and explore on your own. Thank you!

Great area for a walk around and take a tour of the ship.

If you are in the area it’s definitely worth a visit. I was at the Royal Botanical garden and it started raining so I decided to visit!
The staff was super helpful and if you are lucky you might even get to meet veterans and navy personnel.
I’m 6’7 and had no problem walking around but you need to be aware that some spaces are small and not easy off access.

Hilton Falls Conservation Area is a nature reserve in the town of Amherstburg, in the Municipality of Essex County, Ontario. The conservation area is home to a waterfall and 33.5 km of trails that wind through the forested landscape. The area also features geocaches, which are hidden treasures designed to be found by hikers.
A great trail leading to a great spot.
The trail here is a nice, easy walk. It's also the yearly location of a really cool Fall trail race called The Beav (if you're a trail runner).
The trail is nice and flat and extra wide for a majority of the walk to the falls. Some of the other trails coming off of the falls are narrower and more rugged.
The actual Falls is an awesome spot. There's a great lookout at the top of the falls, and another at the bottom. Technically you can hop over the guard rail and walk around the rocks at the bottom of the falls (very much an at your own risk move).
Love coming here.

BE PREPARED FOR THE MOSQUITOES!!!!
Be prepared and definitely you will enjoy this beautiful, amazing God's nature!!!
Nice beautiful nature and walking trails. Beautiful falls. You can go behind it, beautiful experience . The quality of the air near the falls is amazing.
But get ready for getting wet.
Come wearing long pants, tuck the edge of the pants under the socks. Long shirt, hat. We apply mosquitoes repellent but it didn't help.
There is an area for parking the cars beside one of the entrances of the woods. It can fit 6-8 cars only. You don't need to pay any fees to park the car and no reservations is needed. The only thing is be early in the morning to guarantee getting a spot. I was around 7:40 a.m.
When we start the walk from this entrance, we didn't see any signs that help lead us to the falls, so we used the App Google Earth that help us find the location of the falls. So I highly recommend using it too if you want to be able to reach the falls easily. I am not sure if we used the main entrance, would there be clear signs leading from the falls?

Our outing to Hilton Falls Conservation Area in the fall of 2023 was fantastic! The trail walk was lovely, winding through scenic landscapes and offering glimpses of vibrant autumn colors. We were delighted by the charming waterfall, which also had some fascinating historical significance. It was a perfect day for a leisurely stroll in nature, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. This spot is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors while also learning a bit of local history. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable experience!

This was a beautiful trail we walked on.. Saw quite a number of people on skis throughout the trail. Good trail for all age groups, it’s quite an easy trail.
The highlight was of course the frozen waterfall! It’s a marvel to see something like this. Absolutely gorgeous 😍
It was a bit tricky to get up close to the waterfall due to the snow, and slightly slippery surfaces, but definitely doable if you are careful enough.

A very nice hike that's 20 minutes away from Mississauga. The trails are well defined, the waterfall is nice and the foliage is beautiful. The washroom is clean, good parking and the are garbage bins at many points in the trails. A good place to spend 2-3 hours, even with kids or dogs.

Ideal for a leisure hike. There’s firewood and a fire pit close to the waterfall where you can have a bbq on your own. Routes are remarked clearly. There’s a dam and a beautiful little tank. You have to pay an entrance fee for which we didn’t get any receipt. Anyways we didn’t book in advance. It took $40 for 3 adults. No separate parking was included.

We went during the winter and it was a scenic trail! It is a relatively flat hike so great for people of all ages. I would recommend wearing shoes with good grip as it is very icy during this time of year. Approximately 1km to get to the falls from the parking lot. There’s a campfire near the falls and logs you can sit on. There are 4 other trails you can do too after you visit the falls.
You need reservations but we went without and were able to book on the spot. Prices were $9 per adult.
Definitely recommend visiting if you haven’t already been!

We visit Hilton Falls almost monthly! Love this place, year round. There are so many trails to choose from, bring a smart phone to follow along the trails. There are trail signs around but people seem to get lost none the less. There are outdoor vault bathrooms around the park and lots of spots for resting or to eat lunch. There’s also a few fire pits around and you can help yourself to make a fire if there isn’t already one going. Highly recommend going here to hike and experiencing each season. Some trails are stroller friendly too. Watch out for poison ivy and ticks - wear long pants tucked into socks or just be super mindful. Please wear proper running/hiking shoes, there are rocks and roots sticking out in some trails so you should have sturdy foot ware. And bring water! Especially if you’re the type who may get lost :)

This was my first time visiting and it was truly so beautiful! I had a great time hiking and seeing the falls. I can't wait to go back!! I love that there is a fire going and wood provided. People were grilling marshmallows and hotdogs, which I thought was fantastic! I'll definitely be back soon.

A fun, easy hike. Did the Hilton Falls and Beaver Dam trails, all in all 12km in about 2 hours. There were some sections with quite a few mountain bikes, but mostly on the Bruce trail.
The falls area gets very busy.

Large area for walking & hiking. Difficult to explore the area in single day. Fresh air, nice landscape, serenity. It's better to get advance online reservation. Nice place to spend time specially for young strong people. Rocky roads may be difficult to carry stroller, so who have little infants may not enjoy here. You need to take plenty of foods & drinks with you while exploring.

Just one word about Hilton Falls: RECOMMEND! I have nothing but good things to say about the place. My positive experience started right at the entrance. The employee who was collecting entry fees, handing out maps of the park etc. , was personable, friendly and helpful and a very good conversationalist. The area itself was beautifully lush. The trails were well maintained (there are separate trails for biking) and easy enough for hikers with different skills (lots of families with little kids were there). One of the trails was a part of Bruce Trail -- that was a secluded rugged, tough area with lots of up- and downhills on a rocky terrain.
The falls were worth the hike! But there was also a "frog pond" there, a dream for frog-lovers!
Make sure to bring your mosquito spray though!
Kelso Conservation Area is a 45-minute drive from Downtown Toronto and it offers beautiful views of Kelso Beach as well as great hiking trails in the summer. In the winter, there are ski trails.
Lots of things to do here in the summer. Paddleboarding, canoeing, running, hiking, biking. Beautiful scenic trails. Washrooms are open and clean. Picnic areas are open. Had a 5 peaks trail race here today. We had fantastic weather. Canoe and paddleboard rentals on site. Good venue for a muli sport event.

Booked tickets online for entrance and chair lift to see fall colours. Chair lift tickets are sold out fast so please book online. You get 3 hrs slot to visit and also time for chairlift. It took 25min to get inside the park as cars were lined up, so be prepared for that. There is a lookout point when you go up. Line up by 4.30 to be back as chairlift closes at 5. Beautiful fall colours. You can hike too, there are trails with maps, both easy and hard. Enjoyed our visit.

This conservation area is a scenic paradise with numerous trails which are particularly enchanting during the fall. The vibrant autumn foliage offers an impressive picturesque view. There is also a chairlift but it has minimum height restrictions so kids shorter than 42 inches are not able to ride. Our little one was quite disappointed upon learning that he fell short of the chairlift's height requirement. Nevertheless, it's a fantastic location that warrants multiple visits to fully enjoy all the diverse trails it has to offer.

Visited Kelso a week ago. So amazed to see the brilliant fall colours.. mostly were yellow leaves this year. It was quite windy but fleece sufficed. The water at the beach was dried up. A walk through the woods was awesome .. yellow colours surrounded us. A perfect photo opp ! We got the reservation same day online.

Wonderful park, we paid online before going to park save yourself some $. There's chairlift too, about $8 per person., with a minimum height limit. There is an obstacle course thing you can do, which is quite high in the trees. We didn't do it but looked pretty interesting and would give you adrenaline boost. There were kayaks for rental. There was also this high climbing tower/play area thing for kids. Looked pretty interesting. You can see it one of my photos. Toilets were clean and well maintained. There are lots of seeds woth picnic benches and benches all over the park. I loved the park. For the entrance fee I would say it's a pretty great park considering it has a lot to offer. But remember you have to pay for the services provided.

Definitely a nice place to visit. Its a bit more urbanized for a conservation area than what I'm used to. The amenities here are nice and offer a wide variety of things to do for families. Not so for the avid fisherman. Hiking is on well paved pathways through the area and plenty of hilly turns and climbs. There is also a wonderful beach and picnic area with boat/canoe/rental area for people who wish to do so. Fishing is from first glance relatively poor. Areas around the beach and boardwalk are heavily fished and lack vegetation. No fishing near the dam area and its full catch and release. Its a nice entry way to conservation parks and certainly has a lot to offer for a full family. Booking by reservation online or via data at the park entrance and is affordable for a day visit, or a few hours hiking.

Beautiful trails with some beautiful views for hikers... Thrilling hills and slopes for mountain biking lovers... Amazing boardwalk if someone just wants to have a relaxing stroll... Finally, a sandy beach for a nice swim.. Ample space for kids to play with sandy volleyball court for adults..
All in all, Kelso Conversation Park can be a perfect picnic sport for large groups of friends and family for a day trip!! I highly recommend visiting this place over this summer near GTA!! We'll definitely be going again when the weather gets warmer 😃

Smaller scale park and beach. Really pretty area. Shallow water was perfect for kids to play in. This is a dog friendly park!! The only thing negative was the ramp to get in and out of the park, It was really steep. It's really hard to climb up while carrying things. Was pushing a stroller with small kids, so I had to use the ramp.

I love everything about it, Except having to pay an entrance/parking fee to walk outside! We pay enough taxes already. A small fee of $5 would be more reasonable Vs $27 for two people to walk for a couple hours. The paths and views are great. No complaints there.

Visited Kelso for the fall chairlift ride. Visited weekend of October 14-15, the trees were still fairly green.
We paid online for the ticket, which is about $2 cheaper vs in person. However, you still have to go pick up physical copy of the ticket from the booth. Once you arrive, they will also request you pay for the park entrance $10/person.
As soon as you enter, if you park at the first parking lot (located to the right) this is closest to the course challenge area, plenty of picnic area, washrooms as well.
If you continue to drive ahead, there is another parking which is very close to the chairlift area.
Pick up your ticket and get in line. Along the way, there’s options for food & drinks. There’s seating area with a bonfire.
The chairlift ride itself was only 10 mins or less. Once up there, go exploring a, following a route for a hike, the further you drift away the less people you see but be careful! Keep children close, there are plenty of area which are steep cliffs. It can be very dangerous. There are signs all around which was good to see.
The hike was so peaceful, amongst the trees, It’s maintained well. We did often feel like we may be lost so stay vigilant, the area is large.
The last ride up was 5pm which means they stay ensuring everyone is getting back down. we waited in line for about 15-20 mins.
Staff was wonderful, they were cheerful, answered all of our questions.
Tips: don’t loose your ticket, you need it to go back down. Wear proper gear, it was cold!

Brutal the PRICE!!! What ever happened to fitness support people freedom of forests. For a 2 hour walk 2 people 30$. Let’s just say with all the people walking the trail they must not mind paying that price. I realize maintenance however pot holes are HUGE!! Belfountain Conservation Area is a picturesque attraction situated along the West Credit River in Caledon, Ontario. The park boasts beautiful ornamental gardens and easy-to-navigate walking trails that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding natural beauty. A highlight of the area is its charming suspension bridge nestled within the forest that provides visitors with an aerial perspective of a stunning waterfall. Unlike other falls on this list, Belfountain's gorge descent is relatively simple.
Very nice and well maintained conservation area. We visited here in September.
Fountain, waterfall, suspension bridge, pond and few hiking trails. All great things in one place. Parking is available but you need to book 2 hour slot in advance. Parking/entry fee is $20 per car. Two trails i.e Gorge loop and pond loop trails as name suggests are loop trails and they bring you back to Belle Fountain. They are around 0.6 to 0.7km long. Both trails are easy. There is third trail Trimble side trail which is not loop trail. You can enjoy clicking pictures all around this conservation area. Everything is beautiful and picturesque.

It’s a nice place.
Clean and well maintained. You are allowed to be there for 2hours, it’s a short time but if you want to just walk all around this time is enough.
Most of the trails are easy to walk but there are several stairs in the way that makes it a bit hard for toddlers or parents with stroller ( the stairs are not shown in the map)
It would be nice to just one visit but definitely not for the second.
Washrooms were clean and had a changing dipper table.
Reservation is required.

Visited recently near the end of their fall season. Access to the park definitely requires a reservation in advance especially with how parking spots filled up for each of the time slots.
The trails were not very difficult by comparison to other trails at the nearby provincial parks or conservation areas. Some of the trails have boardwalks and easy markings in places to help navigate.
One of the main attractions is the suspension bridge and waterfall which is a popular spot to take photos. The heritage area of the park is family friendly with walkways in place.

It has been years since we were last at Belfountain and I was very pleasantly surprised to see all the changes that they made.
First of all visitors need to make reservations before visiting, I actually think that this is a great idea since it's not a very big park and it used to be very crowded.
We paid $21.50 for two people and parking. That price also included admittance and parking to Terra Cotta Conservation Area and Upper Credit Conservation Area. That's a good deal because parking is included for all three.
We got there around 9:30am and there was just one car in the parking lot, it felt as though we had the entire place to ourselves.
Bathrooms are available and they were very clean.
I really liked all the improvements they made to the trails. The steel platforms made walking around very pleasurable especially since I've twisted my ankles a few other times in other trails. Another highlight was the new Lucky The Fox sculpture.
I'd highly recommend Belfountain to anyone.

With this you get free access to Island Lake conservation Park..

Belfountain Conservation Area and Water Falls perfect park. And small park as they called it on the way in. Although it doesn't cover hundreds of acres it's well maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly right from entering the main gate. They are following covid-19 regulations at this time and reservations required and pay for entrance and parking.
This assures social distancing and no one is left without a parking spot. The reservation is set for 2 hours at this time and more than enough time. I went around the large/long trail twice and i was still finished looking around and 100 photos.
Driving through the town towards the park is so nice, stores and restaurants, homes decorated for Halloween. This month I have traveled to 12 park Water Falls and Belfountain certainly was the cleanest, helpful staff and covid-19 measures in place. Wheel chair parking. Washrooms open and clean.
The falls are amazing and you are close enough to feel the water spray. The bridge across the river is a nice touch for family photos. Great area for all ages.

A wonderful location to take a hike, stroll across a bridge to view a waterfall, and take in nature. A reservation was recommended but not required before we visited. The cost seemed to be good, though we were able to hike around the entire park with children in just over an hour. It's a small but very beautiful and peaceful place. You need to book in advance for parking online, which is paid. And then you will pay again per person in the car to get entry to this place. We forgot to pay online, and they didn't let us enter, although we drove for an hour to reach there, which was a little annoying. Otherwise, the waterfall is pretty, but again, this is a wholesome walk of a maximum of 30 mins, and you're back to the parking. The protocol is too much to enter, which is not required. A beautiful and meaningful place to visit with your loved ones. 45 mins away from Mississauga.

A beautiful, iron-rich landscape of shale bedrock can be seen from marked trails in the Cheltenham Badlands park northeast of Toronto. Due to overuse by the public in the 1900s, a fence now protects the rock formations from damage and makes access limited to those who are authorized. Conservation efforts are underway to make this site available to the public once again.
Fascinating views of the trees and the changing colors combined with the unique topography of the badlands and the opportunity to understand its history made for a wonderful outing. The trails are a little long and are of medium difficulty especially with kids and not stroller friendly but the views are completely worth it. I recommend going in the first 2 weekends of October for the best views and please book in advance as it's quite busy and parking is limited.

I must admit I came expecting a more dramatic view and scenery. While it is gorgeous and helps that it is attached to the lovely and lengthy Bruce Trail, it is not a lengthy time spend at the badlands. Prepare for about 30-60 minutes to get good shots and walk a bit around the nearby trail starting points. If you are doing the Bruce trail from this entry point, then you need more time.
Parking is 25 + tax and must be booked ahead of time for particular time slots. Worth a visit but possibly only once

We were heading back to Georgian Bay (surprise surprise) from Toronto and decided to check out the Badlands. The hike was short, and the Badlands weren't all that exciting, but we enjoyed ourselves. There is lots of interesting information on the plaques there.
By booking parking in advance you can save about 1/3 of the price, but since you can't book same-day we didn't. The parking pass is also good at two other Credit Valley Conservation areas, so I recommend making a day of it.

Amazing and beautiful rock formation.
There is fencing protecting areas which is ideal and good.
Badlands are well preserved and it is worth visiting in the fall with a very colourful backdrop around.
There are signs and learn a lot of history about this geological formation
A must visit destination for nature enthusiasts!

beautiful grounds and the boardwalk is pretty new and clean. fair warning that it’s a short hike & not worth the amount of money on weekends especially if the side trail isn’t open/too wet. it’s $20 on weekends and $10 on weekdays. you have to prebook a time slot online before going and check in with an attendant after you park to get your parking pass. security is there on weekends. no drone zone on the board walk. portapotties only no real bathrooms.

Nice place for visiting a phenomenon. It has two parking lot they are small so you should reserve in advance.
Nice and easy to moderate walking. The way was well maintained.
Washrooms are portable and not really clean.
You probably will have a 1and half hour walking in total, it’s not a big trail.
Don’t bring the stroller if you are with kids. Pretty easy walk for toddlers.
Enjoy.

Two easy hikes one through Seniter Bruce and the through the badlands which will take approx. an hour to visit and enjoy both hikes. I’d recommend you to make an online reservation to save $5 on entry per vehicle and check weather before you visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Charge is per vehicle and not per person. You get 90 minutes to enjoy the site.
Along with this purchase you get entry pass to the other two reservation sites.
Porta potties available near the checkin counter.

A hidden gem in Ontario! The Badlands is a breathtaking and unique ecosystem, the only one of its kind in the province. I managed to secure parking on the same day, defying the rumors, when I visited in late October. The 2-hour time limit and nominal fee were reasonable, considering the short but enchanting walk through this picturesque landscape. The fall colors added an extra layer of beauty to the experience. A must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts!

Paid 20 dollars plus tax for a five minute of viewing. The same view can be seen when you drive your car besides the badlands. I honestly don’t know why they charge this amount. I feel it’s a loot. The trail was closed and the guy at the ticket counter mentioned that some areas are still uneven. I have no idea if the trail is worth it. But parking charges are ludicrous. I honestly did not like it and will not recommend this place.

Nice area just few minutes north of Brampton. Parking on site reservation $10 is necessary, toilets available and snacks too, this pass will allow you to go to Terracotta park as well.
Little 10 minutes hike if you decide to walk, you can bring your 🐕 on a leash to enjoy the hike. The bruce trail passes by this area.
There is a deck area where you can read and understand the rock formation.
This place is also accessible from a second entrance no need to do the hike.

Worth maybe $5, not $20 on weekend.
What your see is the small spot of red badlands. It is not very big, and you can't enter it (which is obvious and understandable), just observe it from the deck. And that's basically it! Other than that there's only pretty ordinary trail: you walk 15 minutes, you see a fence, you walk 15 minutes back. Can't recommend tbh, better don't visit it to conserve the badlands haha
????????? ????????? — Google review
If you are making a trip to the Badlands, you won't need more than an hour to see the badlands and do the trail. The badlands themselves are interesting, but small. I understand the boardwalk is to preserve the site, but it really does take away from the experience to have to see if from the boardwalk.
Make the trip on a weekday if possible, bc you pay $20 instead of $10 if you go on Friday-Sunday. You MUST make a reservation before you go. I don't know if I need to see this again.

Nice to see. Book your parking ticket ahead of time - same day is not possible.
They might squeeze you in the lot if there are spots available. - we got in our friends didn't. Parking fee is a li'l on the high side. But you get entry to two more parks with the same ticket. It was very busy. Not allowed to walk on the rocks. All fenced in. I'm happy we made and I got to see it. If you are close it's a nice short walk to an interesting view of the Badlands. Dogs are allowed with in the park (leash only). Stuff was very friendly.

Nice park with an unique piece of landscape. Short walk (5 min) from the parking lot. Remember to book in advance (not the same day) on weekends. Can be seen from the road but very nice to experience it from the platform at the end of the path. Bruce Trail crosses the park so we took a short hike here as well. Highly recommended!

Went on a fall weekend with a reserved booking and it was busy. It takes about 10 minutes from the parking lot to the badlands and trails are well maintained in between.
Badlands are well preserved and it's worth visiting in the fall with a colorful backdrop around. You will get to read signs and learn a lot of history about this geological formation.
There's not much to see or do once you visit badlands so pair it with hiking to nearby conservation areas to make the trip worthwhile.

Cheltenham Badlands is a very senic park. The trail to the badlands has no challenges, yet it's not accessible for those in wheelchairs or with strollers. You can access the observation area via the street, but with no sidewalk, it's not so safe. The trail to the observation deck is fairly short. The badlands area is protected via fence to prevent damage, but it's a great view regardless.
Simone Ramgeet — Google review
It’s a lovely place along a gorgeous road. Only downside is that we need to pay 17$ parking for the car. This includes car parking at site and access to Terracotta condensation Area and island lake conservation area. It’s a rare phenomenon which caused this and it does look very pretty even though it’s a very small area. Also we can’t go on the rocks. Boardwalk is the only way to look these closely. You can spend maximum 30 minutes here so make sure to have other things planned for the day.
Aditi M — Google review
Good to check out if you’re in the area. It will take you no more than 15-20 mins total. If you have young kids/stroller it’s better to go via the boardwalk platform.
Entry cost: same day $17/car (includes parking & tickets) or book in advance online to save $5.

I am very glad this park/trial requires booking because it was much more enjoyable without too many people.
Staff are friendly and helpful, and the trail is easy for all ages.
You only need about 30-45 minutes, check-in, walk the trail, view the badlands from the viewing platform, and walk back to the main parking lot. Its pretty interesting to see the Queenston Shale and learn about how it was created.

Gage Park is a recreational spot that features a wading pool, events, and weekly concerts during the warm months. In the winter, visitors can enjoy skating on the ice rink with support staff available and safety guards for children. While pathways may be closed for recreational activities in December 2021, skates are available to rent for $10/2 hours. Although there are no adult instructors present, first-time skaters reported receiving assistance from friendly individuals at the park.
I have been to Brampton a few times but I have never been to this side of town! I was amazed by the beautiful magnificent buildings. It had this ancient feel and look that I have a special love for.
The park in itself was so beautiful!
I also had the opportunity of connecting with the mayor (met him a few other times).

Gage Park is a very beautiful park specially during the winter with it's free outdoor ice skating rink. The rink is surrounded by beautiful lighting making it a delight to skate at night. Skate rentals and sharpening is also available. Rentals cost $15 for 2 hours and $10 for kids aged 12 and under, helmets are also available to rent at $5. The rink is open daily from 5pm-10pm and 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Underground parking is available in City Hall. Overall a nice option for a winter outdoor family activity.

I went in December 2021 and the park's pathways were closed for normal recreational activities. However it was open for skating. Skates were available for $10/2 hours. There are no instructors for adults. You have support staff available and safety guards for kids. I thoroughly enjoyed my first ever skating experience. A nice lady helped me take the first round and everybody there was very very supportive. Christmas lighting around the park and Brampton Civic Center are amazing. Do visit with family and friends

This small, family oriented public park in the heart of Brampton is practically an obligatory stop. With splash pads and live events during the warm months, and an ice skating rink during the winter, there is really no wrong time to visit.
Public transports and ample underground parking are available nearby. The park has plenty of open grass area, and a few picnic tables. Perfect for spending time with your family

Gage Park is a popular tourist attraction in the heart of Brampton. Right in the middle of Brampton Downtown area, the park is divided into 2 parts. One side has big BRAMPTON logo and the other side has a ice skating rink along with light tunnel. It's a beautiful small park which is well maintained by team Brampton. There is free day time parking near Gage park. Good place to visit with kids esp if they like ice skating - equipments are available on rent at the park.

It's always open for everyone free of cost. Parking can be bit tricky, you can park at City hall parking or there is a parking spot behind Subway at the square.

Very nice park. It is huge! It has several types of trails according to difficulty level. Good signalling. Plenty of parking which is included in the entrance fee. Washrooms are clean but in specific locations, so most likely you’ll need to drive or go in your bike to get to them.
While hiking, we saw several families camping in their designated campgrounds, which was really cool.
If visiting in summer, bring repellent, sunscreen, food , water and a hat! It is HUGE and you can spend here 3-4 hours at minimum.

Gorgeous area. Only the "Black Trail" was open when I went in Jan 2022. Snow-covered ravine at the end of the trail was magical. Snow-shoeing, skiing, and fat biking were available on-site depending on the weather conditions. Only did hiking. Admission was a tad pricey. Trails were clearly marked. East Caledon was beautiful - make sure to drive through Old Church Road and Olde Baseline Road for some scenic views.

Great quiet place to go mountain biking and camping and hiking and swimming. Went on a Thursday and there were very few people camping other than the permanent resident campers. They even had a cabin that you could rent if you did not have a tent. Once you find them, the bike trail routes were well marked. There is a one way direction you should be travelling in. There is a great pool that was not that busy, and we were sad to have not brought swim suits.

Last time I went there was about 20 years ago. I was looking for the lake that was there then, and their map show it as well. But! The lake is there NO longer! (found this out by Googleing it - they drained the lake in 2018!). We found their maos and signs on trails were very outdated, and at one point we could not find the continuation of one trail as the signs just disappeared. Also, the trails were fun at first, but it seems the bikers are Albion Hill's priority, as the trails were accommodating them.more than hikers. I would go there again (for a fall or winter hike) , though there were no breath taking scenery ,now that the lake is gone too.

Unfortunately not that impressed with Albion Hills for camping. Seems you can park your trailer any way you want on your site. Guess this is because one hydro/water post serves 2 sites and i guess most folks don’t carry extension cords or extra water hoses.
Anyway here in early October and it was rather dumpy looking with cars and trailers parked any which way.
Bathrooms were not clean on any day (we were here 4 days).
I count my blessings that my dog rarely barks, but there were plenty of other folks that don’t seem to mind letting their dog bark all day while at their site (that isn’t the fault of Albion Hills though).
There is plenty of hiking and cycling trails that were great.

Albion Hills Conservation Park is a haven for those seeking an escape from the chaos of the city. Nestled amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of rolling hills and vibrant forests, this park offers solace and tranquility to its visitors. Unfortunately, the once-pristine surroundings are marred by careless actions of some visitors who choose to litter. It is disheartening to see plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other debris scattered across the otherwise enchanting trails and picnic areas. Albion Hills Conservation Park deserves to be charished and preserved allowing future generations to revel in its splendor. Please show respect to this incredible sanctuary of nature. Visitors should refrain from shouting or creating excessive noise in the picnic areas. While it maybe tempting to let our voices carry in the open space, we must remember that others also come to Albion Hills seeking tranquility and relaxation.
The store manager at this location is fabulous! My colleague and I needed a Reebok classic shoe for a birthday gift tonight. We were running a bit behind and I called the store and they left the store open an extra 10 mins to accommodate us!! She even asked us if we wanted a gift receipt. I work at a sister company to Journeys and I can truly say she represents the brand splendidly. As a fellow store manager it felt nice to see that quality in another store manager. Thank you and never loose that positive attitude.

I had a terrible experience here on January 8th. The shoes I bought were advertised on sale at a specific price and even had the tag with the price on them, but when I went to check out, the cashier cut off the tag with the sale price and I got charged $20 more. When I told the girl cashing me out she said that they didn’t have time to change the tags on the sale items at all that day but it was already 4pm in the day, I’m sure they could’ve had time to change it or at least honor the price on the shoe. Instead she said there’s nothing she can do and couldn’t give me the show for that price.

They are WORN! CANT RETURN, THERES MUD ON THEM. How can they be worn when they never fit? Also, can someone please show me the mud?!?! Ive been shopping here for the last 5 years, buying everything from sneakers to boots, even the wife has bought from here so many times. Never had a problem before. My challenge remains, find the mud! I insisted so many times that they were not worn but she didn't want to listen. All this really goes to show me is that they sold me shoes that had been worn before.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or simply enjoy a leisurely walk, the trails are suitable for all fitness levels. The scenery along the trail is stunning and you will undoubtedly enjoy a peaceful and calming atmosphere.
The park also has ample space for picnics and barbecues, making it a perfect location for a family outing or a get-together with friends.
One of the enjoyable experiences at Jack Darling Memorial Park is watching the Toronto downtown skyline far away, its really eye catching. You can see the boats and jet skis coming and going, and it's a great opportunity to admire the beauty of the lake.
Overall, Jack Darling Memorial Park in Mississauga is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors. It offers visitors a variety of activities and amenities, including jogging and walking trails, picnic and barbeque areas. The park is well-maintained, and the scenery is breathtaking. I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable day out.

Cool little park with an abundance of grass and tables for family picnics. Expect encounters with mallards, Canadian geese, and swans. Don't be surprised if they come towards you; it seems others frequently feed them so they aren't as wary of people. Also, check out the marsh just 5-10 minutes to the south!

Amazing park!!!! Well kept, clean, gorgeous mature trees, flowers, beach, playground. The perfect park for kids to play and at the same time perfect park for a nice walk. This park connects to the Rattray Marsh Conservation Park which is lovely to walk.

If you love nature and peace , or want to heal your soul and inner cells, you should come to Jack Darling Park at least once. come early on weekdays before 11:00 am is best. Long walks beside the water front, 2 restrooms 2 parks and, pets, bicycle, picnic areas and tables. Turquoise and clean water in some spots if you want to go in the water. At least 4 parking areas but the closest ones by the water, you must come supper early.I love this place! Good bless to all.

I had the most wonderful experience visiting the beautiful park!
The lush greenery and well-maintained pathways made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The serene atmosphere and the chirping of birds created a tranquil ambiance that allowed me to unwind and reconnect with nature.

One of the best park in Port credit. Great park for kids, too, and walking, running, or biking by the lake.

It was a lot bigger than what I thought it was going to be, dog friendly, and all around a good place to go if you ever feel alone and need to be near the water to think.

The jack darking memorial park is very beautiful with lots of scenic views all over the place. It’s having a special unleashed area for dogs and multiple trails are connected, there is water mash area to save the wet land. The trails are good to walk.

My boyfriend and I came to Jack Darling Park and did some paddling last week. It is very clean and family oriented place. If you are looking for a nice family get together and have some barbecue going on it’s perfect spot for you. Also, big playground a water sprinkler spot for kids as well. Two separate beach sections. Even if you get hungry there’s a nice lady with clean hot dog stand! Also ice cream man comes around too… this park has everything! It is very big and has different areas kinda little bit for everyone.
Please note: If you are coming on weekends come really early to get your parking spot. Park is huge and has 3-4 different lots but they all get filled fast to the point where people park on the Main Street. It gets crazy… or if you have truck come with one so you can park on grass..

Beautiful lake view. Beaches are available to sit down and also restrooms are available for use. I saw few benches in some areas of the park as well

Good place for a day picnic with family and friends. Kids love this place. Lots of place to play and run around. Clean and maintained. Lots of outdoor activities and fun. Plenty of free parking. Busy place. Safe and secured.
Very busy public park! We enjoyed the green space and access to the water. Free parking and clean bathrooms made it stand out compared to somewhat similar parks (ie Spencer Smith park). The playground and splash pad were quite basic despite the space clearly being a family destination. So many birthday parties and family gatherings going on. Definitely not a park to go to in the peak season if you want a tranquil, quiet park.
This winery is a favourite of mine with special memories each time I've been there. The view is incredible and you will love their wines!

Gorgeous patio experience overlooking the vineyard and escarpment. Meghan was our server today and she was an absolute gem. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the wine menu was very versatile. I highly recommend the waffle mess - the basil added an intriguing twist to a very sweet food palette. The frozen wines are also a must-have for summer. Whether it's a day out with the girls, or a romantic date, this patio is the place to be!

Beautiful dinner at Megalomaniac.
Yes this place has a stunning restaurant with a beautiful view of the winery.
Perfect casual seating and atmosphere we were seated on time and promptly.
Our waitress was really nice and friendly.
We got our orders in and everything came out on time and plated beautifully.
Every dish was very tasty and perfectly prepared.
The four of us took the tasting menu which was 3 courses. Under $100 with wine.
My favorite was the short rib which was one of the best I have had in a while.
Dessert was a yummy cheesecake or chocolate cake for us and we were all so happy with my meal.
Unfortunately there is no full bar for dinner and a selection of only around 10 wines to have with dinner.
Another disappointment was that there was no coffee, espresso or tea with dessert.
Overall the food was 5 star, 5 service, atmosphere was 5.
For a casual seating dinner I was very impressed.
Highly recommend and I will be back.

Its a blessing to have such beautiful bounty right at our finger tips in Ontario. The vineyards are lined up with such care and attention to precision...Reminded me of cornrows (the hairstyle). The tour guide Jeff was so nice and amicable...I recommend visiting. They also make award winning wine...the only nit picking otem is that I think they should have top class French fries and coffee to go with there top tier Porketta sandwich and Chocolate Cake 😋

The food FANtastic! Everything was really fresh and delicious, the portions were perfect and prices were reasonable. The wine choices are abundant and the pairing suggestions are also cleverly made. The shops sells a variety of products other thank drinks and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The only unpleasant thing was that we visited on the weekend and it was really crowded. Specially if you want to sit in the hall to eat, there's too much noise and echoing because of how the hall is built. Everything else? Class A!

Great view, good food,
Orecchiette was great,
Shrimp tacos went damp and soggy in very short order but still tasted great.
Average wines, wine by the glass, is a tad overpriced. I guess you are paying for the location.
Would go here again.

Delightful visit to Megalomaniac Wines this afternoon. Each of us had a flight of three wines, covering most of the tasting menu. I really loved Sparkling Personality (I have a great fondness for sparkling wines like Cava from Spain). Today's foggy conditions obscured the views, and it was a tad chilly for the patio, but I'm imagining a return in warm weather to enjoy the view from the patio.
The menu had some delicious sounding options at the restaurant, which might be on the return visits agenda as well.
The tasting room and retail space are very spacious, bright, and welcoming.
A great place to visit all year, and it's sure to be even better when summer returns.
Summer sun, sparkling wine and a patio - sounds perfect.

We had a late lunch at Megalomaniac Wines a few weeks ago and it was such a beautiful experience. We sat on the patio, what a breathtaking view. The food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely be back.

The winery is amazing with stunning views, the restaurant is fantastic with delicious food, and the wine is delicious and indulgent.
My wife and I stopped to have lunch and then did a tasting. We were seating on the patio overlooking the lake with Niagara Falls in the distance. I had the Braised beef dip which comes with a salad and my wife had the ahi tuna tacos and we each had their recommended wine pairing. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend both dishes.
Once we finished, we did the tasting. The tastings are held in a private glasses room at a long live edge table. There was only my wife and I and one other couple so it was a very small group.
I would say the tasting portions were very generous, not your standard 1-2 ounce pours.
They have many different wines and you can’t taste them all in one visit so more the reason for repeat visits. I will definitely be back.
I highly recommend the to be frank cab franc!

Celebrated a friends 30th birthday at Megalomaniac this past Saturday and the food was incredible! The Bubble Bread was easily the best garlic bread I’ve ever tasted. The shrimp tacos were delicious and the cocktails were so refreshing! The view off the terrace is stunning and a great spot to take some pictures. The only complaint we had was that the service was incredibly slow.
I will certainly be back!
5 stars!

What a beautiful space outdoors! Food was flavourful and fresh. We loved the Rosé with the meal! Seemed perfect for the rather warm eve. Views were gorgeous and service was great!

Always a great time and great food at Megalomaniac! The view is the best out of all the regions wineries and on a clear day you can see Toronto across the lake. I’ve visited here during the summer and the fall, absolutely love the patio in the summer, the colours in the fall are gorgeous! Inside seating it’s very nice as well with the chandeliers. The service is on par and the “frose” wine slushy is a must have in the hot summer time. Mimosas are amazing as well. Their food menu is great and has alot of options. Never disappointed when I come here.

Went here on Thanksgiving day with my family. They were so accommodating and added on a wine tasting to our walking tour. Our host, Alan, was so amazing and made the whole experience so much better. The walking tour was the highlight of the day with getting to taste the ripe grapes from the stem!! Thanks again Alan (hope I got the spelling of your name right!)

INCREDIBLE experience!! Cannot wait to return.
Great service, great wine, amazing views, and the most incredible food!!! Went for a wine tasting during the day and decided to go back for dinner. The bubble bread was to die for and so was the lobster crusted salmon. A must visit for sure!!
Went back two weeks later to have the bubble bread AGAIN!!! It was worth the 2.5 hour drive. Will be back in the fall to view the beautiful fall colours from that amazing view. Amazing place

We keep going back because it's such an outstanding place! The food is great. The wine is great. The views are exceptional. The service was great. It's a beautiful place. Such a great experience. Hard to duplicate. Reservations recommended. Oh my gosh..try the Foie Gras appetizer. It's a shareable. Decadence.

Beautiful and luxurious!
Pulling up with the vineyard on both sides and the venue above on the hill was stunning.
Interior was modern and beautiful.
We had a large group and sat on the patio. There is no wine tasting or wine flights available there but we ordered bottles and the waitress so kindly brought enough glasses for us to do our own tasting.
Delicious wine was a bonus!
Shaina Walker — Google review
Wonderful experience. Beautiful view from the dining room overlooking the vineyard.
Mimosa and Bellini were both very good.
Bubble bread is to die for!
Waffles were amazing, and Vegan Shakshuka was very tasty. Only thing we didnt love was the Coconut Pannacotta. It had a ton of cherries and crumble on top that took away from the Pannacotta itself.
Would definitely return.Beautiful spot with impeccable service!
Joe led our group through an exceptional tasting. He was quite interested in hearing what we experienced on the nose/palate with every wine. Will definitely return for the service and the wine

Kacaba Vineyards and Winery came highly recommended but left us slightly disappointed. The outdoor setting is beautiful, and the winery offers a good selection of Shiraz. That being said, the indoor decor, tasting setup and wine descriptions (staff knowledge) left us a bit underwhelmed…
Marie-Eve Gigu?re — Google review
This place is excellent. My wife and I are not big wine drinkers but we checked out Kacaba Vineyard as we were visiting the wine region of Ontario; wow!! The place itself is serene and the staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the product. A special acknowledgment must go to Charles who shared his enthusiasm for wine with us and helped us appreciate the craft. A must see in the Niagara region!
Daniel Ardron — Google review
Our previous visit to Kacaba was during a period of covid restrictions, so it was super to be back when the full great experience was available. They have a spacious bright tasting room/event space on two levels in the main hall, and a private room is also available. Lots of outdoor spaces for visits on the warmer months.
Our visit this time was related to our membership at another nearby winery, Commisso, whose club includes partnerships with a number of nearby wineries for tastings. Kacaba has a lot to offer! Among the three of us, we tasted most of the menu and had a lovely visit with the staff member. My top two were the Reserve Reisling and, of course Joanne's Blend (sparkling!). My partner and our companion were both quite pleased with multi-award winning Syrah Reserve and Meritage Reserve.
All in all, it was a great way to have spent a dreary December afternoon.
Jamie O'Donnell — Google review
My husband and I booked a tasting here back in Oct 2021 as a wedding anniversary gift. Everything from our host to the wine yard to the wines themselves, was amazing! We got our membership right on the spot and have been enjoying the tastiest wine being send to us every month ever since.
Would recommend without hesitation and would go back for another tasting as soon as we can travel again.

We chose the self-guided wine tasting and enjoyed a flight each on the Adirondack chairs in the vinyard.
We thought it was very relaxing and good value. The flight with four 3oz glasses was $15. There was also the option to do a guided tasting for $25 each and you can then subtract the cost of the tasting from your two bottle purchase.
Brianne Garde — Google review
The wine and the service were amazing! Jess knew the wines inside out, and tailored our tasting to our preferences. All of the staff were kind and accommodating.

Charles gave us an outstanding wine tasting today! All the 2020 wines are fantastic at Kacaba. I recommend anyone who want a great wine tasting to go to Kacaba.

We were extremely disappointed with their "vegan food and wine event". The photos showed these big portions of food on plates, and this is what we got :/ We didn't eat before hand intentionally (and spoke to others who said the same... that they were super disappointed that they had to pay to go for dinner after). The food was room temperature, the wine was okay, but my partner doesn't drink and just came for the food. Very misleading advertising. Left after 20 minutes. Could have been so much more- a big meal where vegans could eat and chat. bummer!

Went to try a few wines after having their Syrah wines recommended by a friend. Dave took care of us. Of the 10+ years I've been going to Niagara this was one of the best experiences we've had and the wines were absolutely top shelf. Will definitely be returning.
matthew vukovic — Google review
Excellent reds, especially the Syrahs. Their tasting menu is a little pricey for the pour that you get, and really forces you to buy two of the wines to make it worthwhile. While the product is good, I don’t get the welcoming feel that we’ve had at other, small boutique wineries in the area. The server was very good, and knowledgeable, and didn’t push too hard. Not sure we’ll be back.
Scott Cooper — Google review
The tasting experience is amazing. Joe is an amazing person and keeps a very interesting conversation while shows all the wines they have.
All the staff at the winery is helpful and if you do the tasting, then you get a discount at purchasing their wine.
I will always come back with friends.

Awful experience - would give 0 stars if I could. We came on Sunday during the rain storm. The staff was not interested in helping us even though the place was empty. We ordered 3 flights of wine and then were escorted to a random back room in their facility that looked like it was used for events. Room was a hot mess - tables and chairs kind of everywhere, very cafeteria like. We were not seen again by a staff member. We were told nothing about the wine. My friend got up at one point to ask for water and see if there was food available to purchase and we were told there was zero food available to purchase anywhere at the winery. Literally not even a bag of pretzels. We did not finish our flights and when we were leaving, we noticed other people enjoying tastings out in an open room. Unsure why we were not offered this. Wine was mediocre, maybe would have enjoyed it with better ambiance.

Great Winery to visit for friends. Guided wine tasting 7 days a week from 11 am to 5 pm. Different kinds of wines to taste. Wine tasting fees are redeemable with any 2 bottle purchase of wine. I recommend everyone to visit this vineyard and winery. Close to major highway easy to access. Enjoy it.

I became a club member a few months ago, and couldn’t be more pleased. The winery treats club members very well, the wines are delicious, and if you’re lucky enough to have Colin to guide you through your wine tour, you will never be disappointed! Picturesque food, wine and view. We booked the patio for a group of 6, ordered 5 glasses of wine and 2 dishes (even after a full lunch). 5 star for all food, wine and service! We’ll be visiting next time for a flight tasting. Recommend the reserved risieling for sweet wine lovers. 2019 pinot noir has a complex flavour as European wine. We bought 5 bottles of takeaway.

We're very enjoy the moment no matter how many times you visit & walk on the beach or the sand never gets old. The beach is not a place to work; to read, write or to think, It’s a place where all worries melt away in the summer heat as you lay under your beach tent or go swimming, fishing or seating on the boat is very peaceful as well.
