The building is amazing and the guy receiving us was awesome and helped us not hate our stay. We went for Valentine’s Day and the place run out of electricity during the night, the worker was gone to turn on the electric plant. The fireplace in the room has the pilot off and we had to sleep cold. We didn’t get the WiFi password so we didn’t have any service to let him know the power was gone. The next morning the restaurant was closed for the day that I wish I would know since the website promotes this nice restaurant. Also the 14th we thought about going to el general steak house and they closed that day as well. We felt it was a waste of money since we could not enjoy the hotel amenities and the restaurants were closed.

Beautiful tranquil place with very attentive staff. Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean with good water pressure. Make sure to confirm the hot water has been turned on in the rooms. Jacuzzi was a nice temperature. The breakfast was excellent. Overall on the pricey side but worth it if you’re looking for a luxury getaway.

Beautiful place! My only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed for dinner! We didn't know until we arrived. Plenty of restaurants a 15 minute walk away (no ubers, few taxis).

Stunning surroundings but WOW the service and welcomness of the manager ruined everything!!! Worst part is that he keeps charging my CC! First a double charge the day of checkout that I had my bank reverse right away when it came to my attention. Now a month later a new charge for a stay a slightly different amount so not a mistake. He claims he can't find the charge even though it's clearly posted on my bank statement that I sent to him as prof.
San Sebastian is an amazing place and definitely worth visiting ... and there are many wonderful hotels ...so pick another and save yourself This experience.

Best Park in Tepic! Great for Family Picnics, activities, or just want to gat away and get lost in nature. All kinds of things to do. From the train to the jogging track that goes all around the park, or creative sculpture painting with the family or by yourself. It's fun for everyone and safe.

Very very pretty island! 300 pesos round trip, we took a boat from Alicia’s restaurant which was easy. We left at 11 on a Monday so it wasn’t too busy. If you go to the far left when you arrive you will be in shade the whole time and won’t need a pricey umbrella.
Thomas den Hartog — Google review
Beautiful tiny beach. The water is very clear.
I 100% recommend you bring snacks, lunch, water, sodas, and an umbrella.
They rent tables with umbrellas on the beach for $300.00 pesos and next to the beach for $250.00
There's no electricity on this island, so there are no fridges. They sell some snacks, beer, and sodas.
Not recommend for people with walking problems.
Mom Of Three — Google review
Great place to hang out for a few hours or the day. We saw lots of different fish while snorkelling (equipment available to rent), enjoyed lunch up at the restaurant and it was a nice boat ride to see the bay from a different vantage point. Would do again!
Char Be — Google review
Bring your cooler and your snorkeling gear. Definitely worth checking out and spending a couple hours to relax and enjoy the clear water. The beach is small and sometimes has strong currents on both ends of the beach kids and weak swimmers be cautious and stay in the middle of the beach. Sitting is limited. Great play for beginners to snorkel.
Joel Hernandez — Google review
Amazing place, I was very impressed, this place is unique ✨, water super warm, also guys from the boat are super friendly and informative! They charge you 400 pesos or $20 to take you there. I highly recommend visiting this place because you'll fall inlove with it. You can rent umbrella, chairs, and table for $15 or 300 pesos, they have a restaurant in there. 🐟🌸💗🐠👀
Mine Jaz — Google review
We took a tour and paid 2100 pesos for 9 people. Our tour guide was Enrique. He was very nice and fun! We were dropped off at the island at about noon and we’re picked up a few hrs later. Place was busy. There is a restaurant but a bit pricey. We had ceviche. Snacks available for purchase. Table and chairs available for rent 300 pesos. The water is clear but very rocky. Waves are pretty strong here too. Not very safe for little ones. Would come back but more prepared with water shoes.
Greasy — Google review
Its a beautiful island for which you need a short boat ride from guayabitos beach.
Visit during weekdays so you will enjoy much more.
Try to find a better deal from the boat operaters who offer boat rides to the island.
Island is maintained well and has a restaurant which serves food and drinks and has some tables in shade on the beach. Hotel has a washroom as well but it is not maintained at all.
Water is clear and it is a fun experience to snorkel. There is designated area to swim which has plenty of fishes and corals.
Try to take some snacks and umbrella for shade if you are not going to use the hotel facility.
You can also spot whales during Dec-Mar month so try to visit during that time.
Shoeb Shaikh — Google review
Loved the island. The water is crystal and you can see the sea life. My kids loved it here. The boat ride was amazing and safe. Can't wait to go there again.

As a past English competitor and previous horse owner, I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable trail rides I went on.
Lenny (the owner) is a genuinely great person and it shows with how he takes great care of his horses. His horses are sound, safe and have the best temperament for first time riders. They were a complete joy to ride.
Secondly, Lenny really knows the best spots on the beach and in the mountains to go to.
My friends and I really enjoyed every aspect of our ride and also getting to know Lenny.
Kelsey — Google review
Great horseback riding and sightseeing experience! Lenny took us on a two and a half hour ride on horseback up the mountains near Lo De Marcos. He shared native plant and animal information, news of the area and history. We finished with beers on the beach. Lenny loves his horses and they are well taken care of....not your average trail horses! Highly recommend for a great morning or sunset experience.

We drove up to Lo de Marcos from La Cruz and are so happy we did! Lenny was a wonderful and diligent guide. The town of Lo De Marcos is beautiful and Lenny takes you on an awesome 2 hour ride through the town, up a small mountain, though jungle and on the beach! We rode with my 70 year old mom and my 7 and 4 year old boys. The boys loved the horses. The horses were sweet, well taken care of and great to ride! It was my 4 year olds favorite part of our trip. Thank you Lenny!! We will be back!

I tried the ATV tour with Lenny at Lo De Marcos Adventure Tours and it was a really great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone trying do something fun & exciting with scenic views of everything LDM has to offer. Lenny starts off with giving you full operational instructions on how and when to switch gears depending on the terrain you’re in during the tour. The tour itself is about 2.5 hrs long and you will ride through the pueblo of LDM and other neighboring towns, stroll through dirt roads that lead to rivers & hilltops and jungle that leads you to the ocean. Periodically, lenny will stop for breaks (picture time). Towards the end of the tour lenny gives you a cold Mexican beer LOL so you can enjoy and cool off before heading back to base. Thank you lenny for a fun experience!
Eric Parra — Google review
Lenny and his cousin Abraham showed us an amazing time. We rode Grande and Larry - two beautiful, gentle, and healthy horses. The views, the jungle, and the beach did not disappoint.
Lenny treated us like family and made us nostalgic for lo de Marcos! After our ride, we had beers with him and his family. When we ran into them in the town square that evening, the fun continued as we hung out into the night and heard of their experiences growing up in lo de Marcos.
If you’re looking for an authentic, unique experience, look no further!
Leo Ohannesian — Google review
I have been traveling for a couple years now, but this tour on horseback with Lenny is one of my favourite experiences! It is an incredible experience. Lenny is very kind and knowledgeable. Since it was just me, he gave me a private, 3 hour ride through the countryside, a river, a little town, a lagoon, and we ended our ride on the beach close to Lo De Marcos, where we started. I hadn’t been riding for many years, so this is perfect for beginners or families with children. I was staying in Puerto Vallarta, so it took me about 1.5 hrs to drive north to Lo De Marcos. It was completely worth it. The drive was beautiful, passing by the smaller cities of Salyulita and San Francisco, and then some beautiful jungle area. The Lo De Marco area was much quieter and less touristy than Puerto Vallarta. There’s a cute little town square, but once you leave the town area to go on the trail, it’s very quiet. I saw cows, horses, chickens, donkeys, birds, and iguanas on the trail! I highly recommend Lenny’s tour above others in the area for both price and quality. He bought me some beers for the ride, and showed me to a wonderful family fun restaurant where I got shrimp tacos afterwards. Thank you for a beautiful ride and great conversation Lenny! I’ll be back :)

What a wonderful time we had with Lenny, his horses, and crew. We had a lovely ride through town, up the mountainside to the lookout, and back home via the beach. It was a highlight for everyone. Lenny is kind, funny, and a great guide. His horses are gentle and beautiful. I was very impressed with their lack of concern as we passed dog after barking dog on the ride. Worth it for sure!

It's a excellent place for swimming and eating good food. The water is warm, the sand gets you under your swimwear but it's fine, it's part of the experience.
Mitzi Aguilar — Google review
This place is the best feet in the sand dining experience ever! Pescadao Sarandeado is unlike any fish you've ever had. Select your fish from the box of ice, watch it dressed, seasoned and anointed with God's own basting sauce as it grills over a manzanita fire.....with an iced bucket of Coronitas and all the salsas, salads and tortillas you could ask for... It's heaven. Make a day of your visit so you'll have time to eat twice. The restaurants are all housed in palapa-patio compounds that line the deep sandy beach along the spectacular sheltered bay. Restaurant Ruiz, if I remember correctly, is the third palapa palace as you drive down the short road from the two lane highway above. Drive your car into the beckoning shade of the palapa covered parking stalls, loosen your belts, grab flip-flops and towels and prepare for an adventure of extreme contentment! Families are the predominant social grouping which magnifies the charm of the place as dining merges with beach play and tropical waters. This place made the drive from Malibu to Sayulita, as opposed to flying, worth every mile.

My review works best for vessel based visitors. That said we have been visiting this area since 2013. There are several palapa restaurants on the Las Islitas road. You can come by boat, car or taxi or collectivo taxi. From San Blas it is only 15 minutes or so. From anchor in the bay, aim for the big green building on the beavh. We like to visit Varo and Alicia at Playa Hermosa restaurant. It's just west of the big green building. A hint is to sit at a table up by the kitchen to avoide the jejenes, a little... Food and drinks are excellent! (Shrimp cevichi, huevos rancheros, platanos con lechera). You are dining in a little piece of paradise!

Copala is a historic town in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. The town, previously called San José de Copala, has been around for four centuries and was primarily used for silver-mining. It is situated in the Concordia municipality of Sinaloa.
Parque Natural Faro Mazatlán is a notable site that features a hilltop lighthouse, the tallest one in the Americas. Visitors can access this attraction through a hiking trail and stairs. While ascending, tourists should be prepared for hot and strenuous conditions by bringing plenty of water, wearing light clothing, and comfortable footwear. The hike takes less than 20 minutes with some landings between low sloping wide steps but has no railings to hold onto.
Spectacular views going up and coming down! A steady walk takes less than 20 minute with one quick rest in-between. Wide, well paved paths. A few landings between the low slop, wide steps. No railings. We enjoyed the effortless walk down with the amazing views.
K. L. — Google review
Did this as part of a Carnival Cruise excursion tour but you could probably get a taxi here from the port. You are going to want some good walking shoes, a bottle of water and a hat. For approximately the first 900 meters you are on a path. There are some stopping/resting points along the way. Then, there are 326 steps to the top. All ages and fitness levels can do it if you take your time but it was hot. You do get sweaty. At the top, there are some excellent views and beverages available if you need a little more. Definitely worth the adventure.
Jim Ward — Google review
Not a huge fan really when you get charged to take a hike/walk. Especially when they close before sunset during the summer months. It’s not much, 30pesos and 10 to use the restroom. Also for how under maintained it is kept. Steady walk up between pat and steps. Also mornings can tend to be a touch hazy so be careful as views aren’t the best. Middle of the day might be the best shot or evening. Was up at the top around 730am. Also think they might charge to go on glass bridge.
Joseph — Google review
The lighthouse itself, the walk, the views are well worth it. 5 stars, highly recommend. That part is free. The sky walkway has a small charge. It's OK, neat to take a photo if there is no line, but I wouldn't wait in line. The best views are still in the free part and on the way up.
If you want to go on the walkway, you'll need to buy a ticket at the base. Otherwise, enjoy the climb for free.
Bathrooms only at the base. The actual lighthouse at the top is closed now. Bring plenty of water, or buy at the base, cannot buy anything at the top.
Beth Frost — Google review
The hike to get here is daunting and hot so bring plenty of H2O, light clothing, and comfy/airy footwear. If you go past 10 a.m. double up your sun block and pace yourself. The hike is we'll worth it. The gasp you get when the peak opens up to a beautiful ocean vista, on a clear day is truly awe-inspiring.
Efrain Colima — Google review
Absolutely amazing place and really beautiful. You should not miss this if you go to Mazatlan, highly recommended. The hike is around 15 min(if you are in good shape). Take water, energy drink, and a hat for sunny day.
Himanshu Goel — Google review
Nice and really great view. I recommend enter at 6 am 'cause the temperature increase rappiddly. Spectacular sunrise/sunset. Try to carry some water and camera!
Everardo Hernandez — Google review
Bathroom at the base costs 10 pesos to use. There is a small stand at the base selling water and other things that was willing to make change for the coin operated turnstile at the bathroom.
The climb is broken into 2 parts. Trail and stairs. Trail is well maintained and wide enough for foot traffic going both ways. As the trail winds around the eastern side of the island you lose your ocean breeze, which can make it a little warm depending on the temp and the angle of the sun.
Stairs can get a big hairy at times, as the spacing is inconsistent and the rail is an uncomfortable thing metal piece that only offers some assistance (when it is present).
All in all, the hike up is a decent workout, but we made it in sandals and even my 5 and 7 year old daughters were able to complete it.
Views at the top are lovely. There is a small vendor selling water and Gatorade for reasonable prices at the top and at the break right before the stairs.
Shawn McCarthy — Google review
This was an amazing walk up the mountain. It is not for the weak by any means! It was very hot and humid the day me and my family went up. By the time I got to the top I could barely breathe and I was sweating profusely! The views were breathtaking to say the least though and was worth the trek!!
I never got to see the lighthouse or walk on the glass bridge because the line was too long, but honestly I was so hot and wore out that I didn't care. 😁

Plaza Machado is a charming open space flanked by elegant 19th-century edifices, adorned with lush palm trees and colorful flower beds. By day, it exudes a tranquil ambiance, but at night it transforms into a bustling market with numerous terrace eateries that offer live music performances. The square is an idyllic tourist destination known for its romantic vibe where couples can walk hand-in-hand and enjoy the warm atmosphere of outdoor cafes.
The Catedral Basílica de la Inmaculada Concepción is a magnificent Catholic church located in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. The church is well-maintained and offers a peaceful atmosphere despite being frequented by tourists taking pictures. Security is present but the overall vibe is relaxed. Mass times are available on Sundays with hourly services during mid-day hours. The cathedral's location on the shores of the Pacific provides a beautiful backdrop for worship and photography opportunities.
I really wish I had more time to explore Mazatlan. I was on a seven-day cruise and I feel like I only scratched the surface. One highlight, though, was visiting the Catedral Basílica de la Inmaculada Concepción. It was truly beautiful and a must-see for anyone traveling to the are

Beautiful well maintained church. Despite all the tourists coming in to take pictures (like me), there's a peaceful calmness one can soak in if one stops and sits down for a moment and quiets one's mind. There were lots of security ladies gathered across the street. Vibe seemed very relax. A 15 minute walk from the cruise line port. Nice walk if you're not in a rush and in fair shape.

The Catedral Bailica de la Inmaculada Conception is a beautiful active Catholic Church. Please be respectful and take off your hats, lower your voice and be respectful with people that come to pray. Know that not everyone is a tourist. The architecture is beautiful and you can see that the church has been rebuild by looking at the walls outside but the inside looks original. Beautiful cathedral —Spanish Mass offered daily, plan ahead for seasonal schedule. This is a traditional Catholic Church, those celebrating Eucharist take by mouth and not by hand (common in US). No missalette available, so I used my mobile app, Laudate, which offers English and Spanish translation of the daily reading. Centrally located across from the main city plaza, an easy ride from cruise terminals. I can recommend using DiDi for ride (like an Uber/Lyft) and each way was MX peso $35 or today’s conversion rate of about $2.04 each way—MUCH less expensive than the set terminal taxi stand, which was $9/USD each way. I also stopped in a frozen fruit/ice cream shop for a quick watermelon refreshment—many other fruit flavors are offered for about $1.50 per bar. The plaza was festive and very much ALIVE with tourists and locals during this holiday season. Local police are present to help with traffic flow and general safety.

Wow! The design and architecture of this building is beautiful. Photos don't do it justice. It is a must see while in mazatlan
Jaredd Thornton — Google review
Beautiful building, inside and out. A mix of tourists taking pictures and people praying quietly. A nice stop for photos and a quick prayer, if you're into either of those things.
The Malecón de Mazatlán is a 13-mile coastal walkway featuring street vendors, shops, and restaurants with stunning ocean views. This long promenade has a dedicated bike/skateboard lane and ample space for walking, making it an ideal spot for outdoor activities like biking, running or rollerblading. The beaches are also great here and one can enjoy the afternoon at the beachfront restaurants with good food and cold beer.
The beaches are great. Hanging out at one of the restaurants on the beach is a great way to spend the afternoon. You get an umbrella, table, chairs, good food and cold beer.

Absolutely beautiful and lovely!!! Very clean and the views are amazing!! Make sure to walk at the ocean side just before sunset! The sunset will amuse you! The weather in March is the best. Friendly people!!

This is a very LONG malecon-- probably at least five miles long. The longest I've seen in Mexico. They've done a good job of building a nice road between the beach and the businesses. The malecon has a bike/skateboard lane, and plenty of room to walk. The only thing it doesn't have is sufficient parking.

It's a beautiful place to walk, run, bike, or roller blade next to the beach! It's very safe day time or night time. Lots to do!

The area is nice but so many of the business are shut down due to poor management or other issues. If you like banda then this place is great, unfortunately they don’t offer a lot of variety. The water is guarded by rocks, so the swimming is limited. The activities are limited and the costs are tripled that of Cancun. I suggest spending time elsewhere.

It's about 6 miles long in total. Great place to walk, take in sites, restaurants, shopping. Fun place to chill with a 6 pack, take pics or go for jog. You can walk it or grab a taxi. Goodtimes.

Not anywhere near 13 miles. I can run it in an hour and I'm not that fast. If you count walking on the curvy tight rounds to El Faro or through the tourist district (not on the ocean). You could get close to 13 miles. But the nice walking area next o the ocean is less than 5 miles. It's still a great walk or bike ride.
denise z — Google review
The area is nice and very walkable. Taxi rides are also fairly cheap, just make sure that you set the price before getting in. I would recommend knowing at least some basic Spanish, but I am sure that you can also get through with an app like Google Translate. There are a lot of vendors so if you're looking for some items at a fairly cheap price, you'll be in heaven.

P.º Olas Altas 75-Int.1, Centro, 82000 Mazatlán, Sin., Mexico
The apartments at Old Mazatlán Condominiums are perfect for visitors who want to be close to the action but also want a bit of peace and quiet. The building is situated right on Playa Olas Altas, a small beach where the waterfront road strongly evokes the 1950s. The area is dotted with student life and numerous art galleries, cafes, restaurants and bars, making it a delightful destination.
I am rarely to never inspired to write reviews of anything but we had such a lovely stay at the Old Mazatlán Inn that I feel compelled to recommend it to other travelers.
Old Mazatlán Inn is located near the historic Centro of Mazatlán, it is a couple of blocks from one of the nicest beaches in the city and close to a variety of restaurants. It's nowhere near the majority of most of the hotels, meaning it's a much quieter, more genuine part of Mazatlán.
The rooms are actually condos so in each unit there is everything you could possibly need - a small kitchen, a television, desk, chairs, etc. The inn is charming. A lot of attention has been paid to the decor and design of the units and the outside spaces. The terraces are one very nice feature - you can see the ocean as well as the city.
As nice as all this was, the best part of our stay (and why I felt like I should write this review) is because the hosts at the Old Mazatlán Inn made us feel so comfortable and welcome. We were traveling in Mazatlán during the off season so there weren't many people staying at the Inn. I feel like it would be easy to kind of forget about us but they didn't. In fact, they went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. During our stay a tropical storm/hurricane hit Sinaloa to the north of Mazatlán so as one could imagine there was quite a bit of rain. Some of which made it's way into our room under the door (we were not surprised or upset, that's the kind of thing that happens when rain and wind are battering a condo). We were pleasantly surprised to come back from lunch and find that our room had been mopped and the water taken care of (unasked!) our hosts decided to move us into a larger unit for the issue (also, unasked). Our hosts were able to answer questions about things to do in Mazatlán and ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. O'Neil and Jorge made our stay very pleasant and should we find ourselves in Mazatlán again, we know where we will be staying.

Mazatlan Aquarium is a well-stocked facility featuring an impressive fish tank and live shows with marine animals, including sea lions and sharks. The restroom facilities are notably clean. However, some visitors may find it challenging that all information is provided in Spanish only. Despite this, a visit offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about these magnificent creatures and have an enjoyable experience for both adults and children alike.
Had a fun time here, the penguins were a treat. The shows were fun and I would think informative if I could understand Spanish. They did make us non locals feel welcome. Well worth a visit. Good for a few hours entertainment. Will go again when I come back to Mazatlan.
Wade Rutherford — Google review
This is a pretty good Aquarium and Zoo facility. It is pretty well-stocked with marine and land animals. In general, it is pretty clean-- especially where it counts-- the restrooms. The live shows were not great, but pretty good. The only thing I, being American, didn't like, is that everything is in Spanish-- which is not my first language. But all in all, it was a pretty good experience. :-)

Not what I thought. They mention as the largest aquarium in Mexico but no shark tank or penguins yet, but they still charge full tickets. Only one show. Sorry, but was not impressed.

Very nice park and aquarium, featuring sea creatures and reptiles local to the area. The bird and seal shows were fun. There was also a penguin exhibit. Good for the whole family. Many exhibits have accompanying descriptions in English.

Wish this wasn’t so gimmicky. Asked three separate times for time share presentations! It’s the aquarium not a mall. They had one or two species that I hadn’t seen before. Wish the tanks were a bit cleaner. I could also do without all the extra birds and reptiles.

Acuario Mar de Cortez in Mazatlan is complete. It's one of the largest aquariums in Latin America. The architecture is very modern and has beautiful gardens and wall fountains.
It has 700 fish species, an aviary, crocodiles, and some mammals that we didn’t see because they are finishing their habitat. The fish tanks are huge and well kept. They have an educational and interactive area for kids and adults.
The price is accessible and if you are in Mazatlan, it is worth visiting this important place. After all, it is the biggest aquarium in Latino America.

Spent about 3 1/2 hours there. Very impressive if you like aquarium. Had pictures taken with a sealion, very fun. Wasn't crowded until the afternoon when a local school had a field trip. Several live shows to watch, and a few interactive exhibits. You can feed a stingray. Extras do cost money.

This was so fun! We were cruising and did the hop on hop off tour which took us to the aquarium. The best parts were the fresh fruit carts and the sea lion show. So cute. Even without being able to speak or understand any Spanish, the show was easy to follow and the sea lions were amazing!

380 pesos too expensive. On a Saturday it was quite crowded inside probably would be better on a weekday. The exhibits were pretty good and it had a nice food court area with lots of space and seating

This is a great aquarium and a must go place when in Mazatlan. Definitely worth the price of admission. It's very interactive and the staff is quite knowledgeable. There are a couple of souvenir stores and a few restaurants. The aquarium is beautiful. Well worth it, the family had a great time.

Glad we went on a Saturday after the New Year. Got there around 2:30pm and surprised to see there were no lines. The grand aquarium, bird show and aviary were free to enter, but you have to get a separate ticket for the seal show. Most instructions were in spanish, so we used Google Translate or asked the guides to speak in English (if possible). Great place to visit with kids. It was worth the trip for us.

This place is awe inspiring. Worth every pesos, and every moment to get to. It looks like a big, modern concrete building but once inside it is like walking on the ocean floor and experiencing it without diving gear! My son (5) and I were equally impressed with the interactive experiences. The shows were great (a bit short and all in Spanish) - we laughed at the sea lions and had a lot of fun. I have traveled a lot and this place is truly amazing.

Loved the way the building naturally flows and interacts with the huge acrylic tanks. Loved seeing the divers swim and interact with marine life, you are allowed to touch starfish and also feed the stingrays. The sea lyon show was amazing.
Jorge Marston — Google review
The aquarium is well designed and boasts some impressive spaces for viewing the various creatures. The building is amazing, but it was a bit crowded and loud in the smaller rooms and around the interactive areas. The penguins and sea lion displays were particularly delightful.

Playa Las Brujas is a stunning beach located in Cuba, boasting crystal-clear waters and white sand. It is an ideal destination for those seeking to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The beach offers various water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding that are perfect for adventurous visitors. The surrounding palm trees provide shade and add to the picturesque scenery.
The Zoológico de Culiacán is a modern zoo that offers an extensive array of animals from all over the globe. It is a fantastic little zoo, which I have visited twice due to its exceptional quality. The diverse collection includes various species of cats such as lions, tigers, cheetahs, and jaguars. Moreover, visitors can have the unique opportunity to feed the giraffes by purchasing chopped carrots for 16 pesos.
This is a great little zoo! We have been to this zoo, twice because it is so good. We enjoy looking at all the different cats ,lions, tigers, cheetah, jaguar... It is a nice place to walk around, but apart from some notifications by the trees it is more a park than a real botanical garden.
But it is amazing to watch so much birds, squirrels and plants in the middle of a city. If I were to live in Los Mochis I would spend a lot of my time there, just reading a book on one of the many benches.

Can't get enough of this place. We don't have a park like this in CDMX. Palm trees, lawns, paths and a circuit for jogging or walking with a stopwatch and distance markings. A refuge in what is an otherwise rather uninteresting town.
William Ford — Google review
This park in the middle of Los Mochis is the pride of the city! With its winding path that goes through regional trees, a palm grove, many plants and fauna, and along small canals that leads to a large pond with small islands that are inhabited by, among ducks and geese; large iguanas sunbathing, along with hundreds of turtles swimming around, and sunning on the shores and rocks. Featured in the middle is a waterfall like fountain that you can walk behind. But don't spend all your time watching the birds, turtles and iguanas you've only made it through the first quarter of the park. Behind the impressive front gates that are opened up so the public can see the large ground fountain, shooting water straight up with children running around in it. Just past the fountain is a huge playground with many places for kids to crawl on, including two swinging bridges, tower in the middle. Clean public restrooms nearby. And last of all acres and acres of grassy fields and picnic areas. The park is staffed by constant workers cleaning up, planting trees, cutting grass and monitoring the area for safety. A little info: the park was once the massive grounds surrounding the citys founder's Mansion/Hacienda, many parts of it are still standing all around. The city and park were founded by an American family named Benjamin Francis Johnston and these are his botanical gardens.
Kyle Oldfield — Google review
What a beautiful park in the centre of a busy city. Immediately upon entering this park you leave behind a lot of the noise of traffic and it was lovely and peaceful. The park has hundreds of species of trees in their arboretum. There is an 8 km walking track frequently used by walkers and joggers. A lovely place to stroll or exercise. There are even stations of exercise equipment anyone can use through out the park. There is a place to get food and/or drinks. No cost to enter. Open during the day.

5/5 amazing experience. We secured our tickets by going to the Malecon early in the morning. Got breakfast in the meantime. The trip is so beautiful & peaceful.

WOW...this whole area is just awesome..!! We had an opportunity to snorkel in the area, but we were restricted from climbing on the rock formations. There were coral in the area that were restricted and protected from placing a foot on it or near any of it. Even with all of the various restrictions, we still enjoyed as much of the snorkeling and exploring around the rock formations and coral in the area. We saw many varieties of fish and birds and several other unidentified life that was really great to see and explore. Kinda made us feel like we were the first to see it all! LoL
Isla Espiritu Santo is a nature preserve area for snorkeling, swimming, and hanging out on the beach. We saw a variety of the local sea life including manta rays, schools of fish jumping out of the water, various kinds of tropical fish, the sea lion pups and adults. The area is best explored with a knowledgeable local or a knowledgeable tour guide who can answer any questions about the area or the licenses needed while in the area visiting. There were a many people in the area visiting with their own boats and docked in the area open water and adjacent to the land to get to the shores to enjoy the beaches or have a nice picnic under the their shade tent under the sun. The area was just awesome.

Very beautiful beach. Water is very clear. Be careful of rays so shuffle your feet in the water.
