Its colossal size befits the historical significance of Hatay, making it a unique destination for history enthusiasts. One of the great museums you can ever visit, huge and divers collection. Can't be missed if you in Antakya visting it is a must. However, it needs minimum two hours so make sure you have enough time when you go there.
Rawan Takriti — Google review
Really really impressive. I was there for 1.5 hour. It was not enough time. This place is huge. If I didn't have to run to a meeting I would have spent probably closer to 3 hours. Its extremely nice museum and really interesting if your into this kinda stuff. Would recommend everyone to stop by if they are in or near antakya.
Sander bj?rvik — Google review
Hatay has been a very important location in all its history which spans thousands of years. This museum with its colossal size is just a deserving place to house this history. With its amazing mosaic and roman collections, this museum is worth spending hours. The conceptialized rooms and sections are unique in Turkish museums.
Varol Tunali — Google review
This place is a really good place with really good mosaics. If you ever come to Hatay you should probably come here. There is also samtatues of greek gods which if you are into greek mythology you would like.
Ahmet Ceylan — Google review
Undoubtedly, one of the best antiquity museums that I have visited- its mosaic exhibition is amazing (and rivals Tunis's Bardo museum) and the tutorials and information is easy to follow and understand. It gives a great context to the region from pre-historic to the Ottoman period. A must see!
Erkan VOLKAN — Google review
An excellent museum with displays relating to all historic times. The collection of mosaics are incredible and there are some very well preserved sarcophagus. Well worth a detour to visit, also do not miss the the Hotel museum
Ray Porter — Google review
An impressive museum with a variety of exhibits about the area's very old history. I have been to many museums in Europe and this one could easily be in one of its capitals. The finds from the Hittite period are particularly impressive, as is the quality and massiveness of the mosaics from the Roman period. Worth it!
Remzi K — Google review
Very nice museum. It has the biggest Mosaic collection in the world. Plan to spend at least 2.5 to 3 hours. It has a nice cafe to relax inside the museum as you exit. Parking was an issue for us. Besides the amazing mosaics spend some time at th sarcofagus section.
Kostantinos S. — Google review
I couldn't imagine the amount of historical and archiological findings in this area. The museum was a trip to the history of the rigion. Amazing collection pf mosaic and marble sculptures. It is a must to see for Hatay visitors.
Update: more sections are opened, and more mosaic is in display.
W Rose Gac — Google review
One of the biggest museum in existence and holds so many well known treasures, including some of the best preserved Roman mosaics including the world famous Gypsy Girl. Definitely should not be missed.
Brian M — Google review
This is a fairly new museum. You will need more than an hour if you want to see everything. A wealth of information, artifacts, history and culture all in one place. Well presented and it seems as if there is more to come.
Definitely worth the trip.
Note, you can purchase one entry ticket here and also see St. Pierre Church and another museum for a discount fee on the same ticket. Ask when entering. For locals, a museum pass is a great idea. It's much cheaper.

Nature is spectacular and the water is soo refreshing. The place is nice, my experience with the restaurants there was not good at all, but the place is amazing

Unbelievable beauty of nature combined with human creativity !

It would have been nice experience but what we saw in the area was disappointing. You can't see the falls much because of the restaurants took over most of the area and share it amongst them. Local city municipal don't do they job's properly. 👎
Clean People — Google review
It might be a very nice place to see but the scene yaş been blocked and turnet to a mess by the cafe's and restaurants which are very worse, untidy and the roads are very bad and dusty. I thing the whole area should be taken under the control by the Government, Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality, otherwise and at the present state, it is shame of municipality.

One of the great places to enjoy the nature with having great food and drinks.
You can walk around and smell the fresh air with the sound of waterfalls around. Great place and suitable for families, friends or couples, so simple and enjoyable experience
You can also buy sovunier and hand made things.
Rawan Takriti — Google review
It was surely an amazing piece of nature but the waterfall ways were filled with mass of concrete and dozens of restaurants and vendors are now sorounding the water. Some restaurants placed their tables right into the water so you can cool yourself both drinking and having your feet in icy water. The overall concept is kinda vulgar, the trash around isnt being collected properly so you dont want to walk away from the main routes. The decoration of some places is quite absurd... combining everything... Anyway it was a nice walk and we cooled ourselves after superhot Antakya.
Lenka Ch. — Google review
Amazing place, the food and Nargila is not that good there, you can have a table in the cold water, near the water falls and enjoy the nature, there is also a small market were you can buy some good gifts , the place there is full of cars especially in the weekends you give your car to someone to park it for you and then continue walking to the cafes. Most of the cafes there serve wine and raki. The prices is fair.

The Church of St Pierre is a significant historical site located in Antakya, Turkey. Carved into the side of Mt. Staurin and dating back to 1100 CE, it is one of the world's first cave churches and holds great importance in Christianity. It is believed that St. Pierre held the first religious meeting here to spread Christianity, making it a center of Catholicism and a pilgrimage site for Christians. The church also houses a museum and offers stunning views of the city.
Very old and historical church. Located on the hill so you have to walk to the top. The access if very easy. Actually, the inside is just a cave. I think the attractiveness is the rich-history behind this building.
Muhammad Luthfi — Google review
Entrance fee currently the equivalent in TL of €8 but free if you have a museum card.
To be honest there's not a lot to see. Ten minutes max, which is disappointing given the significant impact of the Antiochean church in early church history.
Gregory Kane — Google review
It's closed for renovation works. After the earthquake those works stopped also. I hope the damages are not significant. This is a picture with damages from outside of the museum.
stroe haris — Google review
This place, although is small, should be visited for the historical value that it has. As the first church in the world, and another historical site in a city that dates back to the first civilised city-states of the world. It is better to have the museum card as it gives access to all museums and historical sites of Turkey for 1 year.
W Rose Gac — Google review
The church is a small hall in the mountain. You need to know a bit of history and significance of the place to enjoy the atmosphere, have a look at the city view and tolerate the groups of religious tourists ( not to mention a rather expensive entry fee)
Take your time to go around the church (opposite direction of the main entrance). You shall find an amazing number of tunnels dug in the mountains and the figure carved into the mountain. Unfortunately, the path is not marked and cleaned, but it is definitely part of the amazing history where people had to prepare escape ways to flee religious persecution.
R S — Google review
Nice place to visit, returning back to the Apostles time and feel the history. The entry fees is high compared with other museums.
Tomas Boman — Google review
Easily accessible and worth a visit, but only if you're passing as there is not a great deal to see.
Do not miss the Hatay archaeological museum and the Hotel museum, they are a must visit!!
Ray Porter — Google review
Interesting story, the first church were build in a cave, worth to visit. The entrance fee is a bit high so if you have museum card will be better.
Rawan Takriti — Google review
The church is open and unharmed (unlike the city center). But there is a tent camp right in front of the church.
There is not much to see. The visit is worthwhile if you seek a spiritual connection with this unassuming place of great historic importance.
If you're looking for a peaceful, sandy beach to relax on while in Ayia Napa, be sure to check out Fig Tree Bay. The bay has clear waters and is perfect for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling. There's also a small sand island located just off the coast which makes it great for kids.
10/10.
Lovely beach, nice and clean. Water is amazing and see through. Cant explain how beautiful it is. It has a lot of fishes by the small island. Beds are not free but there is a lot of natural shade. Its in a nice area. I highly recommend this beach if you are near.
Tamara Milic — Google review
Nice beach in Protaras, bit further away from the Ayia Napa. Can get easily overcrowded, so I recommend to grab your spot in the early morning. Beach offers showers, local shops and watersports.
Cyntia Peth?v? — Google review
As with all beaches in Cyprus, access to the public is free, whilst the hiring of sunbeds and umbrellas is chargeable. A municipal car park provides parking within a short walk. The beach stretches for 500 meters, and the waters are clean enough for the beach to have been awarded blue flag designation. The beach takes its name from the fig trees located close to the coast.
There is an uninhabited islet easily reached by swimming through the shallow waters, the location of which provides a good shelter for the rest of the beach. The islet is covered with low-level local vegetation. In contrast to other local beaches, such as nearby Nissi, Fig Tree Bay has become a popular destination for families. Water sports such as water-skiing, windsurfing, and parasailing are available. From April to October, lifeguards and lifesaving equipment are available on the beach from 9am to 6 pm.
In 2010, during structural improvements to the beach, an ancient Greek tomb was unearthed

Beautiful beach. You need to go very early during summer time in order to find free sun beds. After 10:00 you’ll be already late

You need to visit this beach when the water is calm as it can be completely different. I was there with much wind and waves, wasn’t great but I came back on a less windy day and it was beautiful!!! Probably one of the nicest beaches in the area, crystal clear water with a small reef where you can go snorkelling.

11th November, 26°C ...absolutely phenomenal spot, out of season, plenty of space o the beach. A heavenly spot.
Tanya Raeburn — Google review
Dropped points as it is far too busy, nice sand and waters but the amount of people was just silly, especially when people plonk themselves at the front putting up umbrellas, making it difficult to get in or out of the sea. If we came back to Protaras then would look for another beach.
chal086 — Google review
Fantastic beach. It is shallow by the shore perfect for families, and you can swim out to the small island which is great for snorkelling, so much life to see. It can get windy or a little choppy so take care. There are shower and foot taps on the beach for use. It does get very busy so you need to arrive early in the morning. There’s a range of car parking options near by. Sun loungers are £2.50 each as are umbrellas.
There are lots of food options near by and two water sport companies which offer a wide range of activities, we went canoeing for 10 euros each.
Helen — Google review
The beach is slowly deepening, sandy, water was calm. Weather was not windy at all. Many restaurants are nearby with great variety of food.
Sunbeds and umbrella can be rented for a fair amount of price.
A tiny island is in front of the bay, see attached picture.
Zoltán B. — Google review
A beautiful beach, sand like cotton wool, gives the azure color of the sea on the shore. Everything is nearby in location. The only thing is that it is very crowded and noisy. This is not a place for relaxation and solitude.
Kostiantyn Ivlev — Google review
A very nice and charming beach in the north of the island. One of the few where you can swim without going 200 meters into the sea. Azure and warm water. A lot of people, but not like in Mielno.
The Greek Orthodox Church of Profitis Elias is a small, picturesque church perched atop a hill with scenic water views. It's popular for tourists thanks to its unique architecture, which includes painted plates and frescoes.
Nice, cosy church. A new one, built in the 20th century but according to Byzantium standards.
It's on top of the hill, so you either walk up the stairs or use another (probably old) "stone ladder" climb at the back of the hill.
The view from the top of the hill is spectacular.

Little church on top of hill, current church built in the 80s on top of a old ruin with nice frescos inside.free to visit, I counted 164 steps from the bottom up to the church, 360 panoramic views over protoras area.there is also a cafe at the bottom.

Beautiful church located on top of a hill that overlooks Protaras. We received a warm welcome from the local cats after conquering the steep staircase!

Tiny church on a hill, decent views. 162 steps to get on top...10 min viewing and you are done.
michal pieniazek-odrowaz — Google review
A very beautiful church. There are a lot of steps up to this church on the hill, make sure to count them as you go up. Once at the top you have stunning views across the city and the coastline.
The inside of the church itself is very beautiful, with the typical Greek Orthodox iconography.
There’s a small shop at the top as well which you can buy drinks for very cheap, or souvenirs. You can also buy a ribbon for a loved one and tie it around one of the trees. Recommend going to have a look up here it is an amazing sight

If your driving to this place there is very small parking lot for max 10 cars. However the place is worth the stop by specially at the sunset you enjoy a romantic sun set up the hill at this place. Panorama photos 360°

Always have a walk ( and a rest half way up) when we visit Cyprus. About 170 steps but we'll worth it,lovely Greek Church and stunning view. You can see Varosha to the left in the distance where the hotels are still standing after the Turkish invasion in 1974. Nice shop at top and a cafe at the bottom of the steps,if you've never been give it a visit well worth it.

A magical place at sunset. And very moving with all the memory ribbons, particularly at the moment with all the covid masks 😔 There's about 150 steps from the car park (my 11 year old daugter loves counting!) but with railings and places to stop it's easily doable for most people and we'll worth the effort. Such a beautiful little church as well, the best one we've seen on the East Coast area. We'll recommended. I imagine it's also stunning at sunrise as well but that's a bit early for me!

Around 200 steps but we’ll worth it for the views , and a tap for water also a small shop if you’re religious

Nissi Beach is a long sandy beach with crystal-clear water. It's easily accessible and has all the amenities you need for a day at the beach. In summer, it can get crowded, but it's still one of the most popular beaches on the island.
Beautiful watercolor and quality of sand! Definitely one of the nicest beaches on the island. It is usually very busy but that's understandable as it is very picturesque! The infrastructure with sunbeds, food, showers, toilets etc. Is very good. Also great with children as the water is very shallow and not wavy even several meters away from the beach. Parking is also available. Great to spend a full day there.

A pure paradise, especially off-season when it’s not that crowded. Probably the best beach on the eastern side of the island.

Dear viewer,
This was a nice beach to visit. Clear blue waters, nice island that you can get to just by walking in the water, but here is a word of advice, get there early, between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, especially if you want to catch a nice chair and umbrella, as afterwards the beach will be jam packed with people.
Florin-Sergiu Mercurean — Google review
Lovely beach clear water but unfortunately in peak season it is very busy as expected, which resulted in it being overcrowded and some trash washed up in the water. Would definitely be better if you come super early or in less busy month. Would recommend Landa beach if you want a more peaceful/ family friendly vibe.

Beautiful sandy beach and bay. Sand is fine and soft. Great place for sunbathing and swimming with some bars on the beach front for food and refreshments. The beach is kept very clean and there are lifeguards on hand too. At one end there is constant dance music from a bar which is ok for a while but got to us after a few hours. However at the other end it was more peaceful and quite which is what we wanted from our holiday. The sunbeds and shades are 2.50 Euros each for the day which seems standard. There are lots of watersports available from a business here including parasending, jetskis, kayaks etc.
Beautiful place and well worth a visit.

A bit overrated because it is so famous and now it is too busy but there are wonderful beaches similar to it nearby that are even more beautiful. When I visited, it was late May, the water was cold, there was wind, waves and seaweed, wasn’t great for swimming.

The most famous beach in Cyprus = the most crowded one. The beach is full every day since soon morning, so in the afternoon there is almost no place even to place your blanket. The sea gets really dirty in the afternoon. There is a lot of noise from the boats, musice and people. I dare to say that Cyprus has a lot of nicer beaches to spend the day on.

Beautiful beach in Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
Was pretty full even in the end of November.
There was a small island that you can walk to from the beach.
Was couple of bars and restaurants open on the beach even though it’s off season.
I’m sure it’s a hot spot in the summer when everything is operating in full capacity.
Definitely a place to visit.

Even it was the beginning of May, the beach was full, it was crowded. White sand, water is turquoise blue and crystal clear. The water was cold for few days but only the bravest were swimming.
A sunbed is €2.50, a sun umbrella is €2.50, and payment is only by cash.👎
There is restaurant so you can have lunch at the beach. If you are near restaurant you will hear music.
Toilet is in restaurant, public parking is not for free.

Beautiful beach but a little crowded so I recommend you to arrive there till 10:30/ 11 am so you can get a good place or maybe a sun-bed and an umbrella for 5-7,50€ (2,50€/ bed, 2,50€/ umbrella)
Later everything will be full.
Also keep in mind its very busy on the weekends so you may not get any parking place next to the beach in the afternoon.

If you like a beautiful but busy and crowded beach with really loud music ( August), bars and a view of hotels, you're here for a treat. If you like quiet relaxing beaches, probably look elsewhere. Must be amazing outside of the main season.

I loved this beach with all my heart, such a beautiful and big enough for lots of people place, with restrooms, showers, several restaurants and bars
Hope to come back there

The beach is big but still pretty crowded in September. At 10 it was not possible to find sunbeds. It's possible to lay for free on the sand. Cool small island which you can walk to through the water and have a better view from higher grounds. The water is beautiful and clean. Unfortunately showering costs 1 euro per minute.

Charge 1 euro for 1 min shower , parking available. Area for sun umbrella and sundeck hire and one side for free use. Several bar cafe available but not all are open during the visit in April. Relatively shallow beach can walk through. Quite a lot of rubbish in the water floating.

Very nice vibe with restaurants, music, free parking (in March) and clean toilets.
Beautiful view and blue water! I will defo go back when it’s warmer

Most beautiful beach in Cyprus..
Shallow protected from waves with the small island ... good for families, there are many beach clubs, good for young people, many tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets around.

Absolutely great. I visited in February and the water wasn't that cold as I expected. Everyone was very nice, it was very sunny and hot that day. But the water, oh my gosh it was the clearest water I've ever seen. The view from the little island was also gorgeous. Definitely visit!

Beautiful, but crowded beach even on the early of the season. Nissi island is a must-see place! Very suitable beach for children of all ages. You can rent a beach chair for 2.5 euros. A little bit noisy for some people in front of the beach bars.

Really Nice and Beautiful Place for relaxing. But we was here in the End of October so it wasn't full. Like normal. Weather Conditions in October fantastic Every Day 25-30 degrees. Prices for Sunbeds and Umbrella everywhere the same 2,50€ Sunbed 2€ Umbrella.
WaterWorld is a massive water park that is themed around ancient Greek mythology. It's perfect for families with kids of all ages, and there are plenty of thrilling rides to keep everyone entertained.
Great water park with an array of slides for all thrill seekers. About a dozen slides and there was plenty of sun beds. Visited the park in Mid-May, so very quiet with next to no waiting for slides...awesome!
Recommended if visiting this part of Cyprus.

A must-do! Full day of fun for all ages. Very nice park just to walk around (lots of flowers, bush monkeys in trees, palm trees everywhere etc.). Tried all slides, the one the looks scariest from outside (red one, from Thunderbold & Lightning) is not that hard when you try it; is a straight drop but short. Heracles seemed the hardest. Drop to Atlantis was the most intense. Nice!!

We were a family of 4, kids 7 and 11 years old. The park is good size with many rides, the kids were in paradise! We had 2nd day free tickets so was able to enjoy another day at the park which was a bonus!! Highly recommend this park! Great staff and entertainment. It was great to be a kid again!
Amanda Pigram — Google review
Overpriced but very enjoyable. The pantheon theme added some flavour to the overall experience. Plenty of fun slides and the food is very good and decently priced. Had the park been in a premium state then the 35 euro entry price would've been justified. Unfortunately it could do with a paint job and some thorough cleaning. But if you can look past that then it's worth a visit.

Nice, big waterpark with lots of slides and other attractions. Wave pool a few times a day (once an hour), good food around, nice drinks and cocktails . €40 for large sun-bed(bottle of cold water included ) , €10 for towel renting and €10 for locked box . One soft drink included in one ticket.
Nice and friendly staff .
Nice place for kids and adults.
A few parts of waterpark needs renovation . Level of disinfectants in the water destroyed our kids costumes (colour changed from light blue to yellow blue 🙈).
Overall good to go .

Really fun time at the Water Park. Hardly any queuing for the rides, and if you did it wasn't very long. Food and drinks were as expected a little bit more expensive but nothing we didn't anticipate. I would really recommend booking a Cabana in advance to avoid disappointment.

Very nice and clean waterpark. The staff were super sweet and the rides were a lot of fun. The park is a decent size and has a lot of different rides both for riding alone or up to 3 people. We were two young adults and we had a blast but the kids seem to have fun as well ☀️ would go there again if I am going back to Cyprus 😊

Great fun! Really nice waterpark with a good mix of slides for young children and faster rides for the bigger 'kids'. Good selection of places to eat too and really nice staff. The water was pretty cold at the end of the season but not enough to spoil it if the sun is out. Would definitely recommend and return if back in the area.

Really really really worth the ticket price. I went with my parents and my 9yr old son on a Monday. We avoided the Sunday pool party because of the rowdy yung'ans. Buy tickets online in advance, show the confirmation number to the front counter, they will issue your tickets and then you can enter. Lockers are small, enough for a 7/8L ruck sack. Good food options inside but we took our crisps and sandwich's. Best to go early and make a day out of it, gets busy very quickly. Each ride has at least 2 life guards attending, its clear they take safety VERY seriously. Only 4 stars because the taller rides have a pidgeon problem, bird poo everywhere as you climb the steps, on the handrails!. That could turn into a health hazard. Apart from that, great day, would go again.

We were so well looked after in the Thea VIP suite. Everything was catered for. The hot tub was such a nice touch. The wine and fruit platter was exceptional. A fully stocked fridge, lovely bathroom products and a full view of the parked topped the experience off nicely for the adults but for the kids those VIP skip the queue wristbands will be the highlight of this trip for years to come

The water park is a nice choice to visit if you are visiting Cyprus and seeking for some watery adventure.
It provides rides with adults and children as well. Some of the rides can be used only with the park's swim rings. In the middle of the park you can find a big waving pool. Unfortunately, when we visited the park, it was operating only for 2 or 3 minutes every hour. So this was a bit of disappointment.
A couple of food facilities are offering hambugers, fish and chips, ice creams, creperies (thin pancakes filled with either nutella or eggs and ham).
Zolt?n B. — Google review
A very fun day for all the family! We were 2 adults and 2 children and we had a great time trying all the rides. We visited on a Wednesday in July and queues were not so long to get on each ride. There was also a good choice of food at lunchtime (hamburgers, meat dishes, pasta, pizza and even sushi!)
Getting a Kabana is also a good idea, it's a good shady base for your day at WaterWorld and you also get a small locker included for free to keep your mobile phones and wallets in a safe place while you're on the rides.
Very fun day indeed!

Most of the slides are fully covered and dark. Really good experience. Lots of space for everyone, amazing place.

A decent size water park. Not too busy, queues were quick (no fast passes here (or needed)).
Rides were good, nothing too scary, so go nuts. Lazy river was good. Plenty options for the younger kids as well as older.
Recommend booking a cabana bed in advance as they weren’t too expensive for the day that said there seem to be enough sun beds around the place.
Food areas got a little busy but good choice of food. Taxis were handy and plenty near closing time.

We spent a day at this nice waterpark during our holiday.
It wasn't too busy with us visiting towards the end of the season (Oct), which meant we didn't have long to wait to get on each ride.
The rides vary in intensity, but my wee one (9yo) managed to get on most things. Some of the rides were on a staggered opening, but again this wasn't an issue, with queues being pretty short.
We ate at the park and there was a big selection of different foods. The food itself was really delicious and a pleasant surprise as water/theme parks usually fall down in this area.
We had a great day out and would recommend

We have been to this water park 5 time now over the years. Everyone still enjoys it. Plenty to do got a few day's through a holiday. The lasagne is the best you will EVER have. Odd place for nice food but the main restaurant is very good. I had it 4 years ago and its still amazing. No more that say a 3 minute wait to get on any rides. We will be back again thats for sure.

We really liked it, there were no long queues, friendly staff and there were games with prizes. Something to do for all ages we had 18, 15 and 8 years old with us and they were all happy 😁 the only thing we didn't like was that the slides where not all open at the same time, some were open when other were closed and then they would close the open ones and open the closed one and so on.... coz of that the queues where bigger then the would be if everything was open at the same time

Amazing rides! Drop of Atlantis being one of my favorites. The park has lockers for valuables at 5€ (plus a 2€ deposit). It is clean and there are enough sun beds for everyone. Great for adults and children. There is a bus that goes straight to the water park which was very handy, and they was very frequent. I would go here again if I go back to Cyprus.
A 1700s complex with a museum of icons, archaeological finds & the tomb of Cyprus’s patron saint.
It is so a peaceful church. Loved visiting here and highly recommend staying on the bench and having a silent time.
There is also a little museum of each era.

Die Saint Barnabas Monastery is one of the most impressive monuments I have ever seen. There i saw in a museum facilities from the Bronze Age. Near by the monastery Barnabas an old disciple of Paul is buried after he become a martyr for the young community of Christians in Cyprus and Antiochia. The entry for the Monastery include visiting of the monastery was 15 TL = 2 € for students.

The place is interesting but the upkeep is a disaster, the way they changed a church into something ridiculous and monks' cells into 'a museum' only shows the detachment of locals from Christianity altogether. It is only used for extracting money from the tourists. Not even mentioning the locals trying to sell products that are definitely not local or made by them. It is really a shame...

The monasrary us nice, but not a real highlight. But we recommand the organized trip. Much better, than to check for yourself. Most of the rent-a-cars does nit gave insurance for the türkish sektor. The monastary is pituresque and there are some wallpaintings and icons in there. The grave of the saint is nearby.

This is the bureal place of st. Barnabas a companion of the Prophet Jesus, on whom be God's blessings, it's said that his own gospel was buried with him in which he writes about the coming of the Prophet Mohamed, peace be upon him, it is said that the gospel was removed and is currently in the Vatican. This is a place of interest to Christians and Muslims. It's not far from Famagusta and is clearly signposted. There is a church there and also an icon museum.

A really interesting place for a small fee of 50l to see Saint Barnabas tomb area, the church and museum of archaeological artefacts. Their is car parking, cafe and toilets. The chapel built over where his remains were found is quite petite and you can walk down to his resting place before he was moved. The church has plenty of colourful artwork and mural depicting how his tomb was found. The museum had many interesting and unusual artefacts and information. A nice peaceful place that was not too busy.

Amazing little church with such a story to tell. In addition to the church, there is a museum of artifacts found in the surrounding area . There is a charming little refreshment place that offered fresh squeezed juice, water and ice cream. Also , a separate tomb that houses the body of St Barnabas. Outside was a small market ( 3 tables) that were selling locally made souvenirs. Very much worth a visit.
The Finikoudes beach is a popular tourist destination in Larnaca, Cyprus. The beach has clean water status and is lined with palm trees. There are promenades near the beach that offer views of the harbor. The town of Larnaca is close by, with many conveniences available such as restaurants and shops.
Beautiful sandy beach, with a lot of palm trees and different things to see. At summertime is a place full of people enjoying the sun and the beach and during winter time a lot of people walking around, doing roller skates, skateboard etc. Christmas period is one of the best there because you will get to see the biggest Christmas tree in the island.
It is a great place to take your dog for a walk, to see and meet other people. I love this beach side because it offers you the opportunity to walk, have fun, eat, get a coffee or a drink and also take incredible photographs. It is a must see/ walk in the city of Larnaca, because it will lead you to the Medieval Castle of Larnaca and to Saint Lazarus Church which you definitely need to see during your stay in Larnaca.
I post some photos I took from Finikoudes beach this year.

A lovely beach with a promenade all the way along the front.
There are also bars restaurants and cafes all the way as well.

On the beach you have sunbeds and palm trees.
The sunbeds cost €2.50 euros to hire.
The water is very shallow here, so great for those who just like to wade into the water.
The beach is very clean.
The harbour is to the left of the beach.
The beach faces east, so it's a perfect place to watch the sunrise from.
A very popular beach for a good reason.

The Church of Saint Lazarus is an amazing example of Byzantine architecture and contains some beautiful Orthodox icon artistry. It is also important historically, dating from the 9th century AD.
I recently had the opportunity to visit the ancient Church of St. Lazarus, and it was truly a breathtaking experience. Located in the heart of the city, the church is steeped in rich history and legend, as it is said to be the final resting place of St. Lazarus himself.
As I walked through the doors, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the stone architecture. The church is a testament to the skill and artistry of the builders of yesteryear, and the attention to detail is truly impressive. The interior of the church is equally stunning, with ornate frescoes covering the walls and beautiful stained glass windows casting a warm glow on the altar.
One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to see the tomb of St. Lazarus, which is said to be the final resting place of the saint himself. The tomb is surrounded by beautiful marble statues and intricate carvings, and it is truly a sight to behold.
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Church of St. Lazarus to anyone interested in history or architecture. It is a truly beautiful and sacred place, and a true gem in the heart of the city.

The Church of Saint Lazarus is a late-9th century church in Larnaca, Cyprus. It belongs to the Church of Cyprus, an autocephalous Greek Orthodox Church.
The Church of Saint Lazarus is named for New Testament figure Lazarus of Bethany, the subject of a miracle recounted in the Gospel of John, in which Jesus raises him from the dead. According to Eastern Orthodox tradition, sometime after the Resurrection of Jesus, Lazarus was forced to flee Judea because of rumoured plots on his life and came to Cyprus. There, he was appointed by Paul the Apostle and Barnabas as the first Bishop of Kition (now Larnaca). He is said to have lived for thirty more years and on his death was buried there for the second and last time. The Church of Agios Lazaros was built over the reputed second tomb of Lazarus.

This place is so beautiful and peaceful. It's easy to park, free of charge and it has a big open space. You can observe flamingos very easily from there, but they are quite shy birds, they won't come too close to the shore when you are there. But if you could be qiret and wait for a while, they would slowly come closer. Definitely a great place to get closer to nature! I highly recommend this spot!

It is an amazing lake full of salt. It is just amazing. The smell of waters is wonderful I recommend it. The nature is everywhere. The water is full of microorganisms and shrimps. But do not fool your self and think that those shrimps will be tasty on a grill. If you eat them you will turn pink just like the flamingos that roam the area. You can find flamingos when it starts to rain in Cyprus and the lake becomes full, which depends on the planes that spray our clouds every now and then. The best part is mosquitoes. 10 minutes near Larnaca you will be reminded of the existence of this salt lake as thousands near to millions of mosquitoes will drink every last drop of your blood while leaving you with an unbearable need to scratch the skin off your flesh. Otherwise 5/5 for the nice views

Nice place for a walk alongside the salt lake, where you can watch the flamingos and other water birds.
Great view of the Hala Sultan Tekkesi - this place has a ridiculous number of cute cats, it must be their sanctuary.
There is several benches throughout the path, ideal to contemplate those magnificent birds.

Ancient Neolithic settlement featuring some reconstructed huts & historical information.
Brilliant. These huts in the photo are recreations of the original structures. There is excellent information about how they were built, how the people lived. The site was expanded and inhabited for approx 1, 000 years .Neolithic living, was hard work.

Wonderful place! It's an UNESCO archaeological site. In this place a village was situated in prehistoric time. This site were excavated few time by Cypriot archaeologist, French and also the Cyprus Institute. All over the site you can read about the history and the excavation on different aspects. Nice view and a lot of nature around.

Fascinating ancient site, very well maintained and lots of information boards. The idea of having a reconstruction on site is, I think, brilliant. It gives a real sense of how those people lived so long ago.
Just beware, it is quite a climb from the car park level to the excavation site, but well worth it. Thankfully there is a 'rest area' part way up, a stone bench in the shade of an old tree, very welcome.
Chris Hughes — Google review
This place it was on my wishlist for years and today I decided to make the trip there and I'm wasn't at all disappointed. The site it has the original hut houses on the top of the hill and a small site at the bottom of the hill with reconstructed for visitors to see how were originally and how people lived back 100.000 years ago. The Neolithic village is a UNESCO site and after walking around it I could see why. I have taken the route up to the hill and I could see clearly the settlement how it was years ago, but there are also a lot of details to read so you get to understand the findings.
I have walked the whole route and walking through the nature path could see where the Maroni river was passing and why it was important to build the village there in the first place. Also walking the nature path you get to see all the beauty of Spring with wild flowers everywhere.
Most of the finds from the settlement are in the Larnaca Archaeological museum which I have visited a few hours before I made my way to Choirokitia which by combining the 2 together I could visually see how they lived and survived by. The entrance fee is 2.50 euros which it wasn't bad for spending nearly two hours walking on the site. There are toilet facilities which there were clean but not a cafe. The site is open from 8.30 to 17.00 in the Winter months and from 8.30 to 19.00 in the Summer. There is not wheelchair access to the site, but they can just visit the reconstructed huts. Also the Department of Antiquities can issue special entry cards for 1, 3 or 7 days at a reduced price and also a pensioners special entry card. For more information you can visit www.mcw.gov.cy/da

This place is one of the first known civilisations known to man. You can feel the history just by being here.
Amazing views, lovely to experience, well worth a visit and in my opinion a bucket list option
Located in Kyrenia, Bellapais Abbey is a 13th century Gothic monastery with panoramic views. It's home to a museum, restaurant and cafe. The concerts held here during the summer are sublime and the ruins are a beautiful sight.
Positioned between mountains and the sea this place has the right name. Cypress and orange trees in Gothic ambiance. Really eye-catching.

I took a taxi from Kyrenia/Girne as no public transport goes to the monastery. The taxi driver wanted a ludicrously-cheap 40 TL for a 6km drive uphill, so I gave him 50TL. I later walked back as downhill was no problem!
Entrance is 15 TL, which includes a little guide sheet which I found invaluable. I was the only one there. The monastery is very well preserved and there are marvellous views from the mountains.

Bellapais Abbey, a 13th-century monastery in Turkish-controlled Northern Cyprus, was constructed by Canons Regular and overlooks Kyrenia and the Mediterranean sea. Initially named Episcopia, it may have served as a residence for the Bishop of Kyrenia. Occupied by Canons Regular of the Holy Sepulchre, it later faced neglect under the Greek Orthodox Church after the Ottoman conquest in 1571. During British control (1878-1960), the army used it, resulting in bullet holes in the refectory. Now a museum, the abbey hosts a restaurant, cafe, and cultural events, making it a historical and cultural destination.

It was a lovely 1 hour drive from Nicosia. The drive through the winding, twisty road through the Machairas Mountains was breath taking. Its Spring time & all the terraced fields were shades of green. The almond trees were starting to burst in to flower. The air was crisp & fresh. We arrived at the Monastery just before the start of Orthodox Lent. The monks were preparing the Church and grounds. You can feel the sacredness of this place. Full of peace, calm, beauty & sanctity.

The Limassol Castle in Cyprus, which was reconstructed around 1590, offers guided tours to visitors. This castle has a rich history, having been built on the ruins of a Byzantine castle and used by conquerors throughout Cyprus' tumultuous past. The Venetians damaged it, the Ottomans renovated it for military purposes, and the British transformed it into a colonial prison.
Very nice part of history right in the middle of town. We stumbled on this and it was worth the entrance fee which was cheap. My kids enjoyed learning about the history of the castle and area. We’ll organized and laid out with tons of information.

From the outside the castle seems very sober but the inside makes it worth a visit. Its rooms are used to display a collection of local medieval art, including a lot of carved tombstones, weapons, stones reliefs from churches, but also some islamic art. I regret not learning more on the history of Limassol there, also the display of the artworks is quite outdated and should give more informations on the art. On top of the castle, the terrace gives a nice view over the historic center and the sea.

The castle is the heart of Limassol for anyone interested in the history of the city or of Cyprus. So it’s a must-see. Entry is €4.50, which is fair enough. They accept card and cash. I found the museum quite extensive for how it first appears, you could spend 45 minutes here. There is plenty to see on 3 levels - paintings, tombstones, armour, a skeleton or two, and sculptures. Some reasonable views of the city and the seaside on the top level. Toilets are on-site.

The castle visit came as a delightful surprise, providing us with an opportunity not only to explore a medieval fortress, but also to immerse ourselves in the rich history of the V and VI centuries. We were mesmerized by the vast collection of antiquities on display - ranging from exquisite dishes and everyday tools like scissors and tweezers, to an impressive arsenal of weapons. The site also featured significant tomb monuments, breathing with ancient stories, and spectacular frescoes, along with painted stone mural pieces boasting well-preserved colors. This educational tour proved to be an unforgettable experience indeed.

This is one place that you can see different type of building. It is very interesting to go under and see all the rooms and corridors, you can even go on the roof and enjoy beautiful 360 view. You can always see the difference between town with history than any new towns. I recommend visiting the place and the entrance fee is just 4.5 euros so it is less than good double espresso with milk but you will have much better memories. Enjoy.

It was a nice experience close to the pier and Limassol marina. There are fragments from different places you can see and a lovely view from the roof. Limassol Castle, nestled in the heart of Limassol, Cyprus, is a historical landmark that has captured the attention of tourists and history enthusiasts alike. With its ancient walls and intriguing architecture, one might expect a treasure trove of cultural significance and captivating tales within its confines. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that Limassol Castle may not live up to its lofty expectations.
Firstly, the exterior of the castle boasts an impressive façade, with its weathered stone walls bearing the scars of centuries gone by. Its imposing presence beckons visitors to step inside and uncover the mysteries held within. However, once inside, the initial sense of wonderment quickly dissipates, as the interior fails to deliver the grandeur promised by its exterior.
The castle's interior is sparse and lacking in the charm and character one would expect from a site of such historical significance. The rooms are largely empty, save for a few informational plaques and artifacts that fail to capture the imagination. While efforts have been made to recreate scenes from the castle's past, they fall short of bringing the history to life in a meaningful way.
Furthermore, the lack of guided tours or interactive exhibits means that visitors are left to wander aimlessly through the castle's halls, struggling to piece together its storied past. Without proper context or explanation, the significance of the castle's various rooms and chambers is lost on all but the most dedicated history buffs.
In conclusion, while Limassol Castle may hold a certain appeal for those with a keen interest in history or architecture, for the average visitor, it offers little more than a brief diversion. Its lackluster interior and absence of engaging exhibits make it difficult to justify a visit unless one is already in the area and has time to spare. Ultimately, there are far more rewarding attractions to explore in Limassol, making the castle a skippable destination for those seeking a truly memorable experience.

This place is okay. I appreciate the historical importance of the location but felt it lacked some information particularly on the lower ground floor where there is stones on the wall. They are clearly from different peoples and represent different times, but I left no better educated.

Little to see or do here, a large collection of “stuff” that seems to have been randomly put together in some cases with no connection to Limassol! Views from top are mediocre since the castle is surrounded by buildings. €4.50 entry ticket.

We have visited the Marina several times before while holidaying in Cyprus. Previously, we had stopped for a drink or an ice cream but this time we decided to have our Sunday dinner in one of the restaurants. We opted for a traditional Greek restaurant which was at the quiet end of the Marina and enjoyed an excellent Kleftiko served with lemon and coriander potatoes and a side salad. This was the busiest we'd ever seen the Marina. Our previous visits had always been during the afternoon but this time it was early evening and there were plenty of people out and about. It had a really lively vibe and the bars were packed. Our last visit was pre Covid and they've added more attractions since then to entice more visitors. There were tourists, families and University students. The University had been hosting a dance competition on the promenade. It was bustling with people of all ages, plenty of eateries and bars to suit different tastes. Music, or if you prefer a quieter corner, both can be found. It felt like an attraction in the centre of a busy Town/City should feel and of course there are plenty of boats to look at!

This is a great historical attraction however it is very unsafe! Many of the displays have been removed and are empty spaces. The railing is missing in many parts of the wall and there are some walking areas that seem quite flimsy, such as soldered metal grates and parts that have been roofed over. A little investment and pride in this castle would make a big difference.

Girne Castle, also known as Kyrenia Castle, presents itself as a fairly typical castle structure, albeit with a notable feature: its size. While it may not boast the grandiosity of some renowned European castles, Girne Castle compensates with its expansive layout, making it larger than the average fortress of its kind. Additionally, the castle's walls are noticeably thicker, hinting at a robust defense system that would have been crucial during its heyday. Despite lacking the ornate embellishments of more famous castles, Girne Castle's imposing presence and sturdy construction serve as a testament to its historical significance and strategic importance in safeguarding the region. Visitors can explore its ramparts, towers, and inner chambers, gaining insights into the castle's role in the turbulent history of Cyprus. Overall, while Girne Castle may not stand out dramatically in the realm of castle architecture, its sheer size and formidable walls contribute to its allure and make it a worthwhile stop for history enthusiasts and curious travelers alike.

Girne Castle, also known as Kyrenia Castle, stands as a majestic symbol of Cyprus's rich history and heritage, drawing travelers to its ancient walls and storied past. Perched on the shores of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea in the charming town of Girne (Kyrenia), the castle offers visitors a captivating journey through centuries of tumultuous history. Its strategic location and well-preserved architecture provide a fascinating glimpse into Cyprus's Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman periods, making it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts. Inside the castle, travelers can explore its labyrinthine corridors, climb its ancient towers, and admire breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. However, some travelers may find the entrance fees to be relatively high compared to other attractions in the area, which could be a consideration for budget-conscious visitors. Additionally, the castle's popularity among tourists can lead to overcrowding during peak seasons, detracting from the overall experience for some travelers. Despite these potential drawbacks, Girne Castle remains a captivating testament to Cyprus's enduring legacy and a highlight of any visit to the beautiful island.

The Castle is a captivating historical site that has witnessed centuries of history. Originally built by the Romans in the 7th century BC, the castle has undergone numerous transformations over the years.
During the Ottoman rule in the 16th century, the castle underwent significant changes, although many of these alterations were later reversed by the British during their rule. Despite these changes, the castle's structure today largely reflects its Venetian-era design.
Visitors to the castle can explore its fortified walls, dungeons, and towers, experiencing firsthand the architectural legacy of the Ottoman Empire in Cyprus. The castle's strategic location overlooking the port of Kyrenia served as a military stronghold and later as a prison during the British colonial period.
One of the highlights of the castle is the Shipwreck Museum, which displays the remains of a Greek merchant ship from the 4th century BC. This well-preserved shipwreck provides valuable insight into ancient maritime trade.
Despite its historical significance, the castle's preservation and organization leave room for improvement, as it is not very well maintained. Additionally, there is a lack of tourist information support to explain the site's rich history. Nonetheless, the Castle stands today as a testament to Cyprus's heritage, showcasing its rich and diverse history of the island.

7th century Byzantine castle, built to fend off Arabs, never taken but surrendered to the Ottomans in 1570, expanded in the Lusignan era, and taken present form under Venetians in the 16th century. British used it as a prison/police academy. Museum, featuring a wrecked 4th century Greek merchant ship, is included in the ticket. Impressive structure, with great views of Girne/Kyrenia and especially of limani/old port, and a little garden café at its centre.

Impressive fortifications though in need of a tidy up and some sympathetic restoration. The only leaflet available was in German, maybe we were a bit early in the season. This made identify the use of some areas difficult. Well worth a visit, plus there are small presentations about an ancient boat recovered just of the harbour including the Hull structure, very interesting.

Beautiful and picturesque! A few nice little spots to eat and drink too! A must see part of North Cyprus if you ever find yourself in the area!
Kyrenia Harbour is the most popular spot in the town for tourists. It's a crescent-shaped port with narrow streets and charming old wooden ships and yachts in its harbour. There are also cafes and restaurants on the waterfront, and a beautiful promenade that leads down to the harbour.
This might be the prettiest place in all of Cyprus.
A place where you expect Jack Sparrow to walk by ...
Castle is impressive.
Fresh fish in the harbor was very good.
I will be back for sure.
My wife spent hours in the gold shops :-)

Beautiful harbour, lots of cafe, bars, restaurant s, open air and indoors. Very reasonable prices, and I have always found to be good food. Effes is the local beer and is tasty and refreshing. Most places have free wifi. Decent choice of boat trips for a special day out. Inflation has taken a bite out of the cheapness, a little more expensive since 2022, but still a great place to chill.

Pros: The experience of walking around the port is very enjoyable and pleasant. There're many boats, yachts with distinctive designs. Many quality seafood restaurants are available. There're many bazaars to buy souvenirs. Overall rating fir the experience is 09/10.
Cons: There's nothing can complain about it.

Great place to walk. Restaurants are on the pricey side since it's the touristic hotspot of the city. You can find boat trips with different options and prices. Welcome to Kyrenia harbor.

Kyrenia harbour is a lovely place to visit. Lots of hotels around to stay in. Lots of ships to choose from to take you around the harbour. The crewmen normally allow 40 people on a ship for 50tl each, which is much cheaper to do. There's also a castle there to explore, which takes 20tl for students and 50tl each for tourists. There are lots of things to do here, you can never get tired of this place.

kyrenia Harbour is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed. The moment you step foot in this picturesque harbor, you'll be captivated by its timeless beauty. The charming cobblestone streets, colorful fishing boats, and stunning backdrop of the Kyrenia Mountains create a truly magical atmosphere.
The harbor is lined with a plethora of delightful restaurants, cafes, and shops. Whether you're craving fresh seafood, local delicacies, or international cuisine, there is something to satisfy every palate. Enjoy a leisurely meal while basking in the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
One of the highlights of Girne Harbor is the majestic Kyrenia Castle, which stands proudly at one end of the harbor. This ancient fortress offers a glimpse into the rich history of the region and provides panoramic views of the surrounding area. Exploring the castle's halls, towers, and dungeons is like stepping back in time.
Strolling along the harbor's promenade is a delightful experience. You can watch the sunset paint the sky with warm hues, listen to the soothing sounds of the waves, and browse through the various souvenir shops. You'll also find boat trips available, allowing you to venture out to sea and see the coastline from a different perspect

So much to do and see in this little paradise on the Mediterranean Sea.
We visited during the early evening hours as everybody was out and about, enjoying dinner by the water. The boats are quite impressive and the sunset views are even more stunning.
This is a changeup from Cyprus obviously. Being under Turkish rule creates a different cultural flavor which is fascinating to observe, being a short car ride from the border.

Crowded, but historic and unique. I would not recommend sitting at the restaurants. Bring your food and drinks instead and you will have a good time.
Located atop the Besparmak mountain range at 732m above sea level, St. Hilarion Castle is an impressive sight to behold. The castle boasts intricate stonework and crumbling towers that blend seamlessly into the rocky landscape. Divided into three main parts - the lower and upper enceintes, as well as Prince Johns Tower - visitors can explore hidden rooms and tunnels connected by steep staircases.
Phenomenal view from the peak, fun hike!
Surely worth the visit 🤩
Entrance fee was 15 TL

Lovely castle tarnished by nonchalant attitude of visitors towards littering. The last cleanup effort took place in 2018 and a similar cleanup is sorely needed. Apparently masks are now the go to for making wishes at the peak 😂. Entry was 15 TL per adult. The opening and closing times are not to be trusted as they frequently close earlier. We went early already knowing this so beware. They usually close beginning around 2:30 pm. Unfortunately a fire took place some time ago and some portion of the castle that was once a cafe has burnt down. Restoration efforts seem to be slow. Mannequins and info panels in several rooms seem to be removed for renovations I assume. A paid toilet is available outside the entrance.

Beautiful ruins of what once was a castle. The view is amazing. It is a tough long hike if you want to reach the peak. Reserve around 1.5 hours for this visit. Steady walking/climbing shoes are a must, the old stairs are slippery. Entrance is 2 euros per person. The road towards the castle is tight so be careful when driving. There is a toilet downstairs (0.50 eurocents).

Interesting castle, very well preserved with fantastic views of the Besparmak mountain range and Kyrenia. The castle has three floors, allow at least an hour to explore the whole site.
Note that some of the steps around the site are steep and will be slippery when wet.

Great spot to get some outstanding views. It is a little bit difficult to climb if your are very much out of shape but doable. We saw families with children climbing to the top and older people as well. There are good stair steps going up to the top. In 2022 we paid 15 Turkish Liras per person which is less than 1 Euro.

Wear good, sturdy footwear as its rocky and steep. Be prepared for a bit of a climb. The views are well worth it! There's a little cafe at the parking spaces.

Spectacular mountain stronghold mostly dating from the Lusignan period. Originally built as a watch-tower during the era of Arab raids (7 - 10 C), there is still a Byzantine church from this period, which has been partly reconstructed.
The ruins are spread over several peaks of the ridge, be aware that the paths are quite difficult and the stones are slippery so only recommended for those who are confident with a bit of rough clambering. Views are excellent. Highly recommended for those with an interest in the island's history.

It is unfair that you don’t update working time on google. As you can see in picture last entrance should be 16.30 but we came at 15.30 and it was already closed. 2 stars instead of 1 only because we still could enjoy the nature around.

One of the best castles I have ever visited. It's like scenery from lord of the rings, amazing picturesque views all around and the castle has kept in very good condition. If you are visiting in the summer months, take a change of clothes as you will definitely be sweating and need a shower afterwards. Food and water are essential.

Amazing place with amazing views! Make sure to arrive early, as they close around 3 coz of the army camp nearby.and bring cash liras , as they don't accept cards or euros to pay for the tickets. There is also a small cafe with the views to have tea

We all absolutely LOVED this castle visit. It's a great place to take kids as they will really enjoy climbing up and exploring all the different parts of the castle. The top takes a while to reach but it doesn't feel arduous as there are lots of different 'levels' or parts and if you do at each one - they are all worth stopping at in my opinion - then you will break up the climb. We spent about two hours in total exploring and taking a million photos. There's a bathroom at the entrance and a cafe - beware it only takes cash. Keep an eye on small children as there are some parts that are without barriers etc. We arrived at 10am and the heat was bearable but I'd recommend avoiding the midday sun there, by the time we were leaving it was very hot.

Fantastic castle, amazing views, loads to explore and an absolute bargain; but bring your walking shoes! The castle is spread out over a large area on different parts of the peaks. Great to explore, especially with kids, and lots to see. Note though that there are lots of steep steps if you are going to explore it properly and there are some big drops at various points. Definitely worth the drive up there.

Free to the public to enter on Sundays, needs better up keep considering what it is, the public seem to treat it like an open dustbin & many pathways obstructed by vegetation or crumbling away. Wear descent footwear & prepare yourself for the climb. Views of the coast & surrounding mountain range are wonderful.
The Υδροπάρκο Φασουρίου Watermania is a typical water park that offers various attractions including pools, slides and a manmade river. The park has friendly and helpful staff with lifeguards present in every attraction ensuring safety. The restaurant on the premises serves a wide variety of food which is delicious and the employees are polite. This park caters to families as there are many kid-friendly activities available as well.
Very clean, family friendly Waterpark. Staff were amazing, very polite. Restaurants and every shop was clean with reasonable prices. Full recommended. You can rend a life jacket for kids or adults for 10 euro. Fully refundable when returned.

There you can find a lot of nice water attraction to all family, great swimmers and extreme lovers to children, stuff is really helpfull and always ready to help, so you definitely feel safe here. In every attraction you have separate life guard. But the food is very average, even bad I would say. Also it is strange that they dont keep all atractions open at the same time (they change every hour, closes one part and opens another). Maybe it is because they just opened for the season today.

First time we came here was in 2019, in our second visit we thought we should try another park, but decided we should go again to something we know will be good, and we weren't disappointed.
We visited this around the last week of June, mid-week, with three kids. The park has lots of visitors (much much more than our previous visit in September, which had only a handful of families), but it wasn't so busy that we had an issue with waiting in line. Lines were very short for most rides (usually a minute or two, except 3-4 games, which needed ~5 minutes of waiting).
Kids had so much fun, we arrived around noon, and started getting dressed at 5:30, when they were getting ready to close). Kids spent almost all of the time running from ride to ride. So much that they didn't want to eat, so we didn't try the food, but we tried some snacks. Prices for them were same as regular shops: 2€ per ice cream scoop, 3.3€ for a large cup of ice latte, 4.1€ for a large Cinnabon.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
Only two slides out of 12 or so, were closed, everything else was open all the time.

This water park is huge. We were here at the end of August which can get pretty busy. The line to enter was about a half an hour wait but once you get inside you hardly feel the crowd. Plenty of seating area with shade.
Many activities for all ages. Extreme slides and also relaxing ones.

I had a visit to Fasouri Watermania Water Park again this year and I have to admit that I had an amazing time and experience, as good as the last year.
There are a lot of activities to do, lifeguards in every attraction, friendly and helpful people.
I loved the restaurant food, I really enjoyed the taste. There were a lot of foods to choose from and the employees were helpful and polite.
I saw a lot of kids having fun on specific kid attractions, I believe this would be an awesome experience for a family. I also tried some of them myself and it was so awesome :)
I will keep re-visiting it, I really love it. I recommend it to everyone, it is one of the best experiences in Limassol.

Amazing water park. There are lots of fun attractions and great food. The staff is very nice, it is clean and you will definitely spend a day full of memories here. Most likely due to a lack of staff, the opening of the biggest attractions alternates here, but even so, this does not prevent you from visiting all the attractions. This water park is only open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, but I definitely recommend visiting it! Another advantage is that we didn't have to stand in long queues here. It is one of the top 25 water parks in the world and I can totally understand why.

There are many good reviews for this water park, but they must've been made in high season. I went here in October 2023 and it was one of the most awful water parks I've ever been to. 80% of the slides are closed at all times as the park operates on a rotational basis. This means that you literally have to wait hours to try other slides.
The park was not maintained properly: stairs were dirty and the stone paths have seen better days. Facilities for food and drinks are practically all closed. Be aware that you cannot do some slides when you have zippers on your swimwear (this is not a big issue as they offer replacement swimwear, but be aware of this before you go).
There were also many leaves in the water. All in all an incredibly underwhelming experience. If you decide to go, please go in the high season. Avoid this water park in October if you can.

Beautiful relaxing water park!!!
Big area for lots of fun.
Very clean park, lots of slides that brings a nice experience, have a nice wave pool but the waves isn't powerful, lots of activities around the park too (rock climbing, rope swinging) and lots of sun beds.
It's a relaxing place for adults too! Has a bar, lazy river if you just want to sit in a floating ring and float away (15 minutes maybe??)
For children there are pools which have climbing frames and things that kids would like???
Wearing flip flops is a must have if you can't walk on burning coals as the sun heats the concrete.
Overall i had a pleasant, relaxing experience.
8/10

I recently visited Fasouri Water Park and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional level of training exhibited by the entire staff. From the moment I entered the park, it was evident that the personnel had been meticulously trained to provide top-notch service. They were consistently ready to assist, exuding a friendly and approachable demeanor that made me feel welcome. Their ever-present smiles and warm interactions added an extra touch of positivity to my visit. The dedication and professionalism of the staff at Fasouri Water Park truly set it apart.
Additionally, I had the pleasure of exploring the new Gloria Jeans Coffee that recently opened inside the water park. This addition proved to be an excellent choice. The coffee shop staff mirrored the same approachability and friendliness as the rest of the park's employees. They served us with genuine smiles, ensuring our experience was delightful and refreshing. The presence of Gloria Jeans Coffee has undoubtedly elevated the overall enjoyment of Fasouri Water Park.
In conclusion, Fasouri Water Park stands out as an exceptional destination for a day of fun and relaxation.

A great water park with several pools for all ages, various water slides and play facilities in one of the pools that includes ropes, bridges and nets for climbing... our kids really enjoyed themselves and didn't want to leave even after a few hours. There are many staff members scattered throughout the park and they all conducted themselves in a professional and pleasant manner. The only downside is the excessive food and drink costs.

Great water park overall! Lines seemed a little long at first, but moved so fast it was not an issue. We visited on a weekend, during the busy season, and still not lengthy waits for any rides. Lockers are 7 euros to rent. Take at least some Euros, for locker and towel rental. You can also get euros at the gift shop with a credit/debit card. We did not buy food there but heard it was expensive and not the best quality

Went in August and it was so busy! Would recommend booking in advance and arriving close to the 10am opening time, or else be prepared to walk for a long time finding a vacant sun lounger. Park was very big, lots of activities for all ages and kept our kids (under 5) busy. Everything reasonably priced, but quality of the food was average at best - a bit like school dinners. Staff very friendly and helpful, had a great time!

Compact but cozy, a lot of fun for kids above 4 y.o. and some - for smaller kids. Be aware that it's cheaper if you have a pink slip. And if you plan to visit it one more time soon - you can buy a next visit ticket before you leave, it gives you a significant discount.

If you are tourist this is the first place you have to visit! Is so fun and this waterpark is one of the biggest and best waterparks in Cyprus! All the water games have so fun and there are high protective with many life guards and the chances of injuries are low. The thing that makes me put 4 stars is the high prices in this place. If you visit it once you will spend at least 35 euro for entrance and food or drink 💸💸💸
Ancient Kourion was a significant Greek city-state situated on the southwestern coast of Cyprus, founded by Mycenaean colonizers in the 13th century BCE. The city suffered from five powerful earthquakes in the 17th century but was partly rebuilt. Its strategic position high on a bluff suggests it may have been founded during neolithic times. Defiantly perched on a hillside, Ancient Kourion offers breathtaking views of surrounding patchwork fields and the sea.
The Holy Church of Panagia of Asinou is a UNESCO-listed Greek Orthodox church, located in the Adelfi Forest near Nikitari village, in the Troodos Mountains. It features intricate 12th to 17th century Byzantine frescos that are considered some of the finest and most colorful in the area. The church is dedicated to the Virgin of Phorbiottissa and has an ornate interior.
A beautifully-decorated ancient church, covered on every interior surface with intricate icons. "Small but perfectly-formed", as they say. Entry is theoretically free like with all South Cyprus museums/attractions, a small donation in the church box is expected. When we arrived at 09:30 in February there was no one there, but we asked the restaurant opposite, who called up the priest, and 5 minutes later an old guy turned up with the key! There are public toilets right next to the church, although they weren't very clean.

It's such a beautiful church set in beautiful surroundings. When we arrived there, the church was closed even though it stated on Google that it was to be open. We were there in December 2022. Frescos are colorful, vibrant, beautiful and well preserved. Really interesting Christian stories depicted. Definitely one of the must see in Cyprus

Perhaps the most beautiful of the painted churches of Cyprus, also due to the presence of a complete decoration of the narthex (including many donor portraits giving a glimpse of secular life of medieval Cyprus).
Very easy to reach compared to the churches of the central Troodos, and in my experience the opening hours are relatively well maintained.
Only issue is the old photography topic. There is no official sign stating it but most guards will insist that UNESCO forbids photography (which is not the case). Nevertheless, in random choice some people are allowed (as testified by the pictures in this google maps entry), others not, and in general they don't seem to really know themselves what they are doing.

The church is fully decorated with wall paintings of the 12th-13th century. They are well preserved. At some points, you see the previous layer of the wall, which means that the latter wall painting is mimiting it. Photos are not allowed inside of the church for safety reasons. There is no entrance fee. It was open even though google said it was closed. The cute old man there said that they usually keep it open until 3-4 pm. There are two taverns near church, so you can enjoy your lunch if you travel from far.

We stopped here on our way back to the hotel. I would´nt drive to this place just to see the rock. A rock in the sea, that just what it is, nothing more. The rest stays a myth. This is a beautiful beach but the rock itself is underwhelming. I would go to hang out at the beach, but I wouldn't go to see the rock. The beach is pebbley so could be easy for a walk as well if you have shoes on. If you are on your way from Limassol to Paphos, it's on your way and an easy stop by. If you are flying out of Paphos airport, it's only a 10 min drive from the airport. Otherwise I wouldn't make a special stop at this place.

Kykkos Monastery, situated on a lush mountain top, is renowned for its adorned Virgin Mary icon. It was established in the 11th century by Alexios Komninos, the Byzantine emperor. The original monastery was destroyed over time by several fires, leaving behind an impressive edifice constructed in 1831. To avoid crowds, it's advisable to visit early since it gets busy later during the day.
It's huge, it's so powerful and yet so peaceful. Monastery is full of art pieces, each holy icon is made from little colourful mosaic pieces and took my breath away! You can walk pretty much everywhere.

Amazing place . The paintings and architecture must have taken years to complete. You are provided with a robe for going into some areas. You can then go further up the mountain to the tomb of Makarios. There is a golf buggy that takes you up part of the way as it’s quite a long walk.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful! Probably one of the best monasteries in Cyprus! It’s a long ride but it’s worth it! Everything was beautiful. The icons, the art of the icons, the walls that had icons all over and were made from small colorful rocks. 😍 I loved it.

The way the spaces interact, the artwork in both mosaic and paint, absolutely everywhere - is very special. It's quite surreal leaving the tranquility of the monastery to be back on the open winding roads of the mountains.
Seb Hunter — Google review
Beautiful place with outstanding artwork everywhere and a spiritual place for Greek Orthodox worshippers.
Free To Enter but be respectful it is a religious site.
David Singleton — Google review
It's nearly 40km of windy road up to the Monastery. A very beautiful church where you can enter to light a candle, say a prayer or just sit and take in all its beauty. Check the monasteries website before going for info about covering shoulders etc. The museum is equally as beautiful and full artefacts and old icons of interest. Worth a visit.

Beautiful views across the valleys, interesting museum within the monastery and they will provide a purple gown for visitors to wear if not wearing appropriate clothing. There are lots of stairs within the monastery so something to bear in mind if travelling with young children. Great day out!

Quiet and peaceful place belong to Orthodox monasticism and Church of Cyprus. This byzantine building has incredible and beautiful paintings and mosaic of saints at the entrance and all over the second floor hallway.
Worth the visit. General admission is free of charge but there's entrance fee to museum.
Note: This is a respectful, sacred place. Wear appropriate dress code.

Lies 20 km west of Pedoulas, is one of the wealthiest and best-known monasteries in Cyprus.
There's a gift shop and museum inside. Entry fee is €5 to the museum.
I visited here as part of the group tour trip. Wonderful scenery on the way to this monastery.
Although it was the Easter long weekend, it was not too busy when I visited. High recommended.

Lovely mountain pass, driving through Cedar trees leads you to one of the most incredible monasteries i have come across. Immaculately kept, peaceful and lonely the place oozes timelessness and spirituality. Must see if in Cyprus

Amazing views. Very calm and holy place. It was calm for a saturday, but I guess that is due to the end summer season. The road to get there is... challenging. I though we were going to die at least 5 times. If you are not used to right driving, and you don't have an automatic - good luck to you. But this place will be worth it

It’s a nice drive up the mountain to this monastery. The mosaics and paintings are all in excellent condition and the walk around the interior is very nice. It’s free to get in and they have snacks and drinks for sale out front.

Very beatiful monastery, you can park outside, there is a small parking lot and be careful since the place is full of cats who just chill under your car. There is also a bathroom which we really appreciated after a long day outside 😁

Amazing place in the mountains. Definitely worth a visit. There is a lot of free parking space outside. No entrance fee. It is located about 60 kms from Pafos. You can reach it by car or you have to take a trip from a travel agency.

Very nice visit, this place regardless of religion has wonderful artifacts in the museum and the main church ( where for some strange reasons you cannot take pictures) is beautiful and very richly decorated.
Stéphane Stéphane — Google review
An inspirational building with amazing wall paintings and mosaics. The route can vary depending on where you travel from with numerous tight bends and some areas where rock falls need careful driving to avoid damaging your car. Take time to stop to take in the view down and across the Cedar Valley.
Robert Holmes — Google review
Spectacular drive up with many places to stop and admire the view and complete silence. The monastery itself is very well looked after with wonderful mosaic work on most walls. There is a church and a very large and informative museum on site totally worth a visit. Don't forget to bring some food for cats.

When on Tui day trip fantastic guide .place was amazing..ride up the mountain was beautiful. Well worth going to see it for your self .
The brewery is hidden on a road from Pafos to Polis. Don’t rush, because you’ll need a sharp right turn somewhere after Tsada-Koili crossed road.
We love the place, it’s like a flash back to the UK pub with proper ales and food.
They have fantastic pizzas, with homemade dough!
Burgers are mouthwatering and they are giant!
Last we were there I tried mussels and it was a very good choice.
For drinks you can ask the staff, guys are very helpful!
Thank you for your work and for our rest at the Aphrodite’s Rock Microbrewery!

I can't rate this high enough! I did the BBQ Experience tour and it was amazing. You could try 5 Ciders or Beers ( Cider for me ) and then order through out the experience what you wanted. We had a tour of the brewery as well from the owner called Bill which was amazing to hear is story and how the Brewery was established with the chance to ask questions at the end. The food was amazing as well , all very well prepared. I would definitely come back again if ever back on the island.

Cracking bar and pizzeria adjoining the actual micro brewery itself. Friendly staff, in a stunning scenic setting, up in the hills above paphos. Easy enough to access with parking on site. Sampled a couple of fantastic ciders on offer, then shared a fresh handmade pizza with my wife. After a later breakfast, that was more than enough to eat. All at a fair price. Recommended, we'll be going back!
Ben Hellier — Google review
First off hats of them for pulling a Microbrewery in the middle of cyprus. It's not easy and they managed to make some decent beers. We went there for the tour and beer tasting and heard that the pizza was good so we stayed to eat as well.
The good stuff - friendly staff, good food and decent beer.
The tour was very one leveled. Alot of information and the guy really knows his stuff. But was also a stand in one place and here is everything kinda show, of course its a Microbrewery and it's a small place but I think the tour could be little better. Instead of being so monotone. But it was free and good for what it was...
Next up the service. Overall they were very friendly and helpful. However really slow and lacking attention. It wasn't like they were super busy or anything but just really forgetful and slow. They forgot that the appetizers had to come before the pizza, they forgot to come with card reader to pay they forgot to get us some of our drinks. We technically could've left without paying and they wouldn't have noticed.
The food overall was good not superb or outstanding and for what it was I thought that it was expensive. For a marinara pizza for example it was 15€. And coming from Italy the land of pizza, it was yea.. Close but by no way better. I didn't think that the price was justified for what it was.
It was a good experience overall. But I don't think we would go there again.

Absolutely fab experience.
Boomed a 1200, but was messaged to say they were very busy and could we do 1415.
No issues. Driver picked us up and was great fair play.
Bit unsure when we got there due to a slight mixup. No dramas.
The staff, beer and food were excellent.
This place is a must on tour trip, weather a drive past or a package they offer.
Do it, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you all

Perfectly well organized fantastic one-day program with lots of nice food an extraordinary beers and ciders producted by them. Plus with lots of knowledge about the brewery itself. Very nice and friendly family. And one more thing. I suggest that you should book it in advance on the internet if you do not want to miss is. They will help you in everything if you have questions. Thanks everybody at the brewery for this unforgettable experience, again. The 5 stars may be not enough for you.
We went Cyprus again, and honestly, your Brewery was one of the reason why we chose Cyprus again. And of course, we couldn't miss your Brewery. We tried your tour again with our sons, and we all enjoyed it very much, again. So much, that we decided to have lunch on an other day. We did not disappoint. And then, again, we returned, to have dinner. Everything is fantastic, your beers, ciders, food, and your staff. Thank you this nice experience. Best wishes to all of you.

An excellent and highly recommended trip. The quality of the food is only surpassed by the amount. Seriously, other reviews will tell you about the amount of food you are given. Bring your appetite.
All of the beers we sampled were excellent, and the brewery tour was entertaining and informative.
If you like beer and/or food it's a must visit

Lovely experience at this micro brewery. We booked the lamb ahead of time, and yes, that was a great choice. It reminded me of the great Sunday roast I had in London long time ago. Salad was bit sour but perfect as a starter. The brownie though, omg, it was to die for. I absolutely love it. It is definitely lighter brownie than crazy dense heavy fudgey American brownie but I honestly like my brownie this way better. I am so glad I ordered dessert. Beer was also good. I had cider and that was very easy to drink. Service was very friendly and that brighten up the whole atmosphere too. I would definitely go back. To eat the brownie again and maybe try burgers and other beer.
The Katos Archaeological Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that preserves the remains of a Greek-Roman city including mosaics and more. This archaeological park is located in Neo Pafos, Cyprus and is one of the most historically significant things to see in Paphos.
Amazing archeological park, everything is well preserved, clean, there are beverages machines.

Amazing place for everyone interested in ancient times and history (and not only). You need to use your imagination to see how extraordinary was it many years ago. The affordable price of tickets. I recommend reserving about two hours to explore all monuments.

Good way to get sunburn. Most of it is out in the sun. ♨️☀️ Mosaics are nice, but there is nothing else to see. Not worth 4.5 euros. No audio guide, no water available, very nasty toilet...just a wasteland

Great place to see many amazing mosaics. It can be quite warm but two of the mosaic displays are also inside to escape the heat.

Visited on a Saturday about 11am. €4.50 and entry each.
Some of the paths are quite rocky so not the best if you plan to bring a pushchair.
Tour groups in the house of Dionysius made it really busy and difficult to look at the mosaics there.

We’ve been to the archeological park next to Paphos harbour. We visited this site in the beginning of september 2021. We’ve paid 2,5euro to enter the park. Once in the park you can visit the old structures which is facinating. Some of the structures are not fully uncovered yet. So if you are lucky like we were you can see some archeologists digging up. Overall it was a nice place to visit. One of the downsides is that not every building is dug up and that there is no information whatshowever on the buildings. The buildings that are dug up are really nice to see.

It is an interesting place. to walk and just imagine how it was in the past. it helped to watch the video in the visitor's center before we walked around. Not all was open to visit, maybe because it was winter?

The key landmark of Paphos, in my opinion. Excellently presented ruins and well-kept surrounding area. Look out for the many small details, such as the small piece of preserved mosaics in the main area. I’d give the park at least 2 hours, it’s well-worth the time.
The Holy Monastery of Saint Neophytos the Recluse is a notable complex of historic monastery and church with significant frescoes, icons, manuscripts and relics. The hermitage is a must-visit place despite its tiny exit door. The museum was closed during our visit, and photography is not allowed inside the church or hermitage. However, the building's architecture is impressive as it's carved into rock formation that adds to its mystery.
I love buildings in the rock, always look mysterious. This one here is really underestimated as not many people come here. It's good since we were here alone, but very strange. I liked the frescoes in the cell and the museum as well as the church's exterior. Very very nice

Very peaceful and nice place. There are a lot of trees and so nice garden.
From Paphos about 15 kilometers. It can be reached by car or bus. Bus number is 604 and it's going from Karavella bus station to Monastery. It cost 2 euros for one way.
There are free parking lot and free bathrooms.
Monastery is opened:

A beautiful place to visit. Don't miss the little decorated hermit type chapel at the far end. Good views. Cafe outside not open this winter. I was able to take a photo respectfully. Nobody around.

A surprisingly peaceful and quiet place, surrounded by trees and gardens. A view steps from the mighty church were the saint found his final resting place, you climb up some stairs to find yourself in a cave full of beautiful wallpaintings.
Manuel Girisch — Google review
The hermitage is definitely worth a visit but the exit door is tiny and a bit of a squeeze, museum wasn't open when we visited, no photos in the church or hermitage,
The public transport option does not really work as the bus to town is very infrequent, so your stuck there for 6 hrs, but you could visit the cat sanctuary 400m away. Apparently the monastery gave them a bit of land to set it up?

A calm and serene historic monastery located in the hills close to Paphos. We decided to visit as it was 20mins from the town centre and can easily get a taxi to and from there. It's open 6am to 6pm everyday for visits and there's no fee to enter, but visitors need to be respectful while entering buildings where there's a strict no photography policy. You need to wear appropriate clothing and keep noise down. The monastery has a gift shop, toilets and cafe on site if required. Highly recommended for a relaxing visit.

The Holy Monastery of Saint Neophytos the Recluse in Cyprus is a serene and historically significant site. Nestled in rocky hills, this ancient monastery features a carved cave where Saint Neophytos lived and prayed. The frescoes on the cave walls add a personal touch to his story. With its peaceful gardens and chanting monks, the monastery offers a profound spiritual experience and a glimpse into Cyprus's religious heritage. A must-visit destination for those seeking tranquility and historical depth.

This is a monastery into the mountains area, having. On the other side seems to be some construction, I assume there are accommodations for monks, craved into the mountain itself. Made me think about Meteora

The Holy Monastery of Saint Neophytos the Recluse, nestled in a narrow valley at the top end of Tala, Cyprus, is a historical gem built in the 12th century. It’s renowned for its seclusion and tranquility, offering visitors a glimpse into the past with its well-preserved structures and sacred atmosphere. The monastery complex includes caves with paintings by Saint Neophytos himself, adding to the spiritual and historical significance of the site.
Visitors often appreciate the quiet environment and the beautiful scenery that surrounds the monastery, enveloped by green trees. While it holds great appeal for those interested in religion and history, the serene setting also makes it a suitable place for relaxation and reflection. The recent addition of a new church nearby enhances the site’s religious importance.
The monastery is accessible via a good road a few kilometers from Paphos, with a car park area that features a decent-looking cafe. The whole site is well-maintained, reflecting the care and respect it commands. Although some parts, like the new church, may be locked and inaccessible at times, the overall experience is enriched by the peaceful ambiance and the sense of connection to the divine.
In summary, the Holy Monastery of Saint Neophytos the Recluse is a must-visit for those exploring Cyprus, offering a blend of spiritual nourishment, historical exploration, and natural beauty. Whether you’re drawn by faith or curiosity, the monastery provides a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Beautiful place, calm. In February there were hardly any tourists, which added a lot to the overall experience. I can imagine in Summer you don't have that peaceful feeling.
The frescoes in the cave dwelling are beautiful, the church is nice as well.
4 stars only because the museum was closed, so we didn't get to see any artifacts, nor got to know anything about the place. Entry was free of charge with the museum being closed. Taking pictures and videos is not allowed anywhere inside the buildings. No shorts or shorts sleeves allowed! Drinks and food are available in the bar next to the parking lot, toilets are also available in the garden.
I would definitely recommend, although small kids may have too few things to do or enjoy.

Beautiful monastery. Lovely scenery and nice church. People are very kind. Visit the gift shop too for nice icons and other souvenirs to help support the church.
Adonis Baths Waterfalls is a bi-level waterfall that boasts unique features such as swimming areas, statues of Aphrodite and Adonis, and mud therapy. Although the place could use some renovations, it is still worth visiting especially during the summer when it's less crowded and the pool is warmer. It's a great spot for taking romantic pictures or enjoying a swim followed by coffee. The attraction provides parking facilities and toilets although the roads leading to it need improvement.
If you are taking your own car be aware that the last few kilometres are rutted dirt tracks so take it slow! 10 euros (cash only) gets you entrance to a small park with statues lining your route to the waterfalls which is the best part of the day. A swimming costume is the best way to enjoy the waterfall as you are free to jump in (the water is cold so brace yourself!).
If you don't have your own transport then there are guided tours from the main towns and buggy tours (take a face scarf if you do this as it gets very dusty).
Trev D — Google review
Really nice, got there early and were the only people there for a while. Warm welcome from the ticket man and the maids, but not so much the other workers. Place feels a bit run-down and could do with some TLC, but definitely worth going early in the summer when it is quiet and the pool is warmer.
Jake R Maddocks — Google review
A great experience for anyone, with refreshingly cold running water! Roads to there have been improved greatly so its not hard to reach the place but if you want an adventure you can always rent a buggy or quad! There is an entrance fee of 10 euro but its worth ot for what you will see there!
Christos Tsiarlis — Google review
Nice and interesting historical site and baths where you can even swim. However does not worth 10€ for entry in my opinion. Some statues, some ancient architecture and one nature pool and waterfall. I have seen much better tourist attractions for 10€. And the road to the spot is awful! Be careful about your car!
Jiří Pitra — Google review
Don’t recommend.
Went after seeing the signposts all over the place, saying “road is good for all cars”. It is most definitely NOT.
The photos attached are of the road that leads to Coral Bay, this is the better road of the two, DO NOT take the road from Tala unless you have a 4 wheel drive.
Nowhere on the website does it say that you have to pay to actually see the waterfalls, it’s 9€ per person.
Just another very highly priced tourist attraction. It’s nothing special. I would understand the fee if there was some maintenance of the place, but there is no upkeep at all.
Millie Carter — Google review
It's a must visit place. So beautiful and full of history. It does get busy, especially at the waterfalls, but its well worth it and people are so nice getting in and out of the water so that everyone can go for a wee swim. 10€ per person entrance fee, money well spent. Water is so nice and cold and refreshing, it is slippery though so make sure you have swimming shoes on 😉

A nice place for a visit of the natural waterfalls situated at 2 different levels. It is lovely to dive into the ice waters of the pools to get refreshed. You can also take a small walk to the “gorge”. The place is nice but the price is a bit steep for what you get. The area is not very well maintained and the restaurant (roof, dekking and chairs etc.) could do with some touching up. Plenty of parking but be aware the road is not nicely paved but a real off road dirt road with load of potholes etc. Just doable with a normal car but not a comfortable ride.
Jos Berkien — Google review
Beautiful waterfalls with pools, close by to Paphos. Don't be intimidated by the road, the park itself is very well kept and maintained. Well worth the ride and money (10 EUR adult, 7 EUR for a child).
Omer Livne — Google review
Well, no doubt this is a beautiful place. €10 for adults €7 for children is a bit steep, but that's the price. Bit corny with all the statues, but it's a tourist spot. What else would you expect.
Don't let that put you off, though. The drive there itself is worth the journey, signs which say, suitable for any car..... may give it away..... but maybe not a 1. 1 litre with 4 adults in. Great views, if you can see through the dust, steep hills, and when you get there, the cold water at the foot of the waterfall is fabulous. Don't forget there are 2 waterfalls. The top one, smaller, bit warmer. It is not suitable for those who can't manage slippery steep steps to get there.
Aussie_ Gamer_787 — Google review
Lovely place. Plenty of history and mythology to look at. The baths were freezing this time of year but after braving it I was numb enough for it to be nice in there. Stunning water, views, statue's and area. Getting to it from Paphos was very rocky so car took a beating. €10 entry. Cafe was good for a warm drink after and there's a nice walk up the gorge but would recommend being able to walk through water as there's no path further up.

A very nice little visit here.
Definitely recommend it if you like taking pictures in waterfalls romantic.
Nice for a swim and for a coffee afterwards .
Parking yes
Toilets yes.
The roads to get to it could be made more of a smooth ride down! Hence the lost star.
Overall a cute place to visit.

Highly recommended! The road is reachable by car. Ticket €10 for adult and €7 child. Beautiful statuses and the water is quite cold but still manageable. Nice dive from the tree over the water.

Interesting place. The access could be better, it is still quite distant on a bumpy off road from the main road. It is still suitable for all types of cars.
There is an entrance fee of 10€ per adult and 7€ per child which in my opinion is a little bit pricey.
There are two waterfalls, one bigger than the other. They are beautiful with clear water. The swimming area is not that big, it wouldn't be pleasant if it gets too crowded, with no space to be, specially in high season.
There is a small museum and some statues around.
S?nia Martins — Google review
Surprised how much water was still coming down despite mid-summer. Really nice and cool place on hot days. Water super cold - which was nice. This place doesn't allow to bring coolers with drinks but you are able to buy most things at their little café. Make sure you visit two sections of the fall.
Piotrek P — Google review
Gorgeous waterfalls and natural pools with spaces to relax or jump in. A couple of cafes and a small museum type thing on entry. The only downsides are the road to get there is all dirt and rocks and it's a 10€ entry fee which is too much for a natural place.
Andreas Thoma — Google review
Complete scam, not recommend to visit this place. The road to the place is completely ruined, it is not even possible to call it a road as you can drive maximum 10-15 km per hour (due to road condition). When you come to the place you have to pay 10 eur per person for entrance, however, the place is very dirty, water does not look clean and we spent maximum 20 min… if you want to refresh yourself better to go to the beach rather than here.. not recommended at all.
Jonas V — Google review
A very bumpy road to get there, more appropriate for a 4 wheel drive or quad, but we managed and was very pretty once we got there. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as lots of steps. Worth a visit.
Sian Falconer — Google review
10 euros - not worth it. Road - not good for your own car, only if you rent and don't care about the car. Two waterfalls and place to swim. Not really impressive place as it’s advertised
igor galimski — Google review
Plenty of history and mythology to look at on the walk up to the museum before following onto the waterfall.
Would recommend taking an off road vehicle to get to this place or a quadbike or buggy as the roads are very bumpy and steep hills!
Waterfall was wonderful and the water so refreshing you definitely need to go for a swim.
If you decide to jump off the tree into the bath please do it on the end part as anything before you will land in shallow water and hurt yourself!!
Entry was €15 which was abit steep in my eyes... €8 would of been a more reasonable charge as you will buy drinks in the cafe they have onsite.
Would recommend going however personally once is enough.

Just a turist trap, with the most awful road leading to it, you might ruin your car on the way there. There are just two mini waterfalls and some statues, while the stairs and rails in there are really not that safe. Not worth €10 for sure.

Mixed reviews about Adonis' Waterfall have almost stopped us from visiting the place. I'm glad we ignored those - the place is wonderful, especially if you are a nature lover. The waterfall itself is not that big but it's really beautiful, with a small lake of fresh water to dip in and another smaller waterfall at the top. There is also Adonis gorge where you can have a lovely walk - just remember to wear your hiking boots. There's a small museum about local history with quite a few artifacts and a few cafes to get a drink and snacks from. We visited in December and it was pretty quiet. Many have complained about the entrance fee being high (€10, cash or card, cash preferred), although I think you can easily justify it given the cost of the upkeep of the place, plus the car park is free and the toilets are very clean. We found the statues from Greek mythology adding a bit of humour to the place. And if you choose to drive, be prepared for an up and down winding dirt track, quite bumpy, narrow at times, but not as bad or scary as described in most reviews.
