One of the most beautiful visitable caste in this area! Inside a green park, with planned golf park, you can visit a lot of beautiful place, with a low fee.
If you have a couple of hours to spend during a sundat morning I strongly suggest a visit here!

An hour drive from MIlano for nothing, as we could not enter with our dog, as only small dogs are allowed. This vital piece of information is missing on the Castel's site and is not mentioned anywhere else. Shame, as small dogs are often much noisier and much worse behaving, than friendly and well trained bigger dogs. A policy in need of re-thinking or a statement on the site is due.

Indoor mall featuring clothing, electronics & cosmetics stores, plus a food court & a supermarket.
a nice shopping center you can find all the heats, you can eat, shave, get your hair done. Number one. 🌞💟
Lulu Lulu — Google review
Great indoor, mall with a good variety of stores and brands, sometimes with good sales, also a food court but not so big, some stations for having ice cream, coffee and snacks. There is also iper, decathlon, Leroy merlin and other different brands.
There are enough toilets, not so clean but good. Enough parking slots.
PegiTa (PegiTa) — Google review
A huge mall just outside of Milan. Plenty of parking available, and I liked the red/green/blue lights on top showing the parking availability in each slot. Makes easy for finding a parking. Had almost every brands and shops - Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Iper, KFC, MacD, and what not Primark seems to be the top attraction with almost everyone coming out with huge collections.

I recently shopped at this supermarket and was impressed by the wide variety of products and the cleanliness of the store. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was able to find everything I needed quickly and easily. I will definitely be returning to this supermarket for my future shopping needs. Great job!

A very dangerous place, tourists beware and don't come here. Im from Brazil and I had a rental car and parked right in front of the escalators that lead to the supermarket. Someone broke the windows and stole all the backpacks and suitcases that were inside. The security guards didn't do anything and the shopping center administration doesn't care either. The police tried to help, but unfortunately, there was nothing they could do. Run away from this place.
Ronney Amorim — Google review
Large shopping mall with a great variety of stores. I highly recommend visiting.
It is possible to arrive by foot, by taking tram n. 15 until Via Curiel, Via Isonzo stop. Follow the pedestrian red sidewalks to cross under the bridge towards the shopping center.
By far one of the best malls I've been in, specially in the summer period.
The air conditioning varies across the structure but overall it was very cool inside, which I appreciated a lot since it's difficult to find good air conditioning. It is oddly hot on the supermarket side.
It has tons of businesses, a big market, a food court and other small bars and restaurants to choose from, choices for every budget.
The bathrooms are spacious and very tidy.
On the other side of the complex you can find megastores like houseware Real, Decathlon, Leroy Merlin and a cinema.
There is no taxi service that I could spot. To return to Abbiategrasso by foot you must go around the mall towards the pedestrian bridge, cross it and walk a bit further to take tram n.15 on Via Curiel, Via Lambro.
Rossana Ruggeri — Google review
Very big mall with several stores (apparel, fashion, jewelry, shoes). The mall has also have an area with different restaurants, bar and pubs. These stores are located across all shopping centre and, for the children, there is also a playground area. The restroom and igienic services are well cleaned and well maintened. Big parking available. Outside the mall building there are: McDonald, LeroyMerlin Decathlon and The Space Cinema.

A wide courtyard fronts this striking Gothic & Renaissance monastery with cloisters & monks' cells.
The best! The facade is wonderfully made. The tour is free, you just have to be a bit earlier before the mass.
Now the parking - there is a pay parking near the church but instead what I did, I parked in the nearby villages, same distance, in Via Amadeo & Via Repubblica, see the map. Worth visiting!

Visiting the Certosa di Pavia monastery was nothing short of a mesmerizing experience. Nestled in the Lombardy region of Italy, this monastery is a true architectural gem.
Inside, the monastery's tranquility provides a haven for introspection and spiritual rejuvenation. The impressive church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, features a harmonious blend of rich frescoes, ornate wooden choir stalls, and marble sculptures.
The cloisters, characterized by elegant arches and manicured gardens, are yet another striking feature of the Certosa di Pavia. Walking through the peaceful cloisters offers an intimate experience of monastic life, while also allowing one to appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship that adorns the walls and columns.
A visit to the Certosa di Pavia is a must for anyone interested in art, history, and spirituality. The serenity and splendor of this architectural masterpiece offer a truly unique experience that leaves a lasting impression.

So easy to arrive there by train from Milan, just 40 mins, 3,80€ / tickets and you ca enjoy such a wonderful historical place absolutely for free. The 'Certosa di Parma' is really a beautiful church located not far from Milano.
It was built from 1394 to 1497.
Because of that the building is a mix of different styles (Romanic, and Gothic), as you can see from the picks of the review.
I strongly advice to take the guided tour: it's totally free of charge (held by the monks managing the complex).
It provides many insights on the history of the church and the functions of each of the visited parts of it.
Beautifully engraved choir is my favourite, but the visit offers many points of interest.

The beautiful Ponte Coperto spans the River Ticino and is a popular spot for romantic walks and Instagram pics. The bridge is made of large archways and overlooks the river, making it an ideal place to start discovering Pavia.
Ponte coperto is really beautiful bridge.
You should go there and I recommend to take the stairs and walk along the river: many young people go there sunbathing or cycling

Best time to visit: At dusk where one could enjoy the breeze and admire the sunset. You will find many vendors selling goods and wares. Italy with its great interest and passion for architecture and history has some of the world’s most interesting and ancient bridges. Albert Einstein spends quite a bit of time here, his quote is inscribed on a plaque.

When you visit Pavia, you must go to the small river side to feel inner peace.
Huge aviation museum featuring real planes, flight simulators & a playground, plus a fast-food cafe.
I saw many aviation museums, but I can say that Volandia is among the best ones. You can find it right next to Malpensa int. airport in Milan.
In museum you can see a huge number of scale models, large number of real military and some civil aircrafts (they are in outdoor display too), you can even see some old and new cars. They also have flight simulators, but during our visit weren't operating!?
Inspite that I am big fan of aviation I would like to point out the space section in this museum. Personally, it was my favourite! This is really a must see because of so many scale models, space suits, solar system moduls, there are even pieces of real meteorites on display.
They've really done a great job!
For children are outside and big indoor playground, you won't be thirsty or hungry either, because they took care of that too!
I highly recommend it!👌🏻

Wonderful idea turned to a concept museum for airplane lovers. Absolutely a must seen place for those who love travelling. Excellent choice for those that need to spend some hours waiting to get on their next flight from the Milano malpensa airport. Big variety of planes, engines, crafts, civil and military ones, flight simulators (not high tech) teaching cockpits, modelism and also concept future cars. I spent almost 3 hours to see everything. The staff really friendly and helpful. Too ad that it is a little "abandoned". Some cleaning and renovation could turn this rock to a diamond. Totally worth the ticket.

Everything was in superb condition and you can get close to the exhibits and in some cases inside.
Worth every star of the 5 I have given it.

How to walk from the main terminal to the museum: from the "Departures/Partenze" (upstairs) go to the right (NORTH) and at the end of the bridge turn right. At the gate telephone at the published number and somebody will come and open it. Do not walk around the museum perimeter because of construction works: it could become extremely complicated or even dangerous.

Fantastic museum, with lots of interesting things to see and do. Highly recommend it.

Outstanding Museum. I spent 6 hours at this museum this past weekend. It was wonderful.
Short walk from Milan Malpensa Airport. Right now, it is only open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s (Winter Schedule). There is a gate at the back and if you call the number, they will come open the gate helping to avoid a long walk around to the front entrance.
Fee to enter was 15 euros for adults. There is a cafe in the main building and a small fast food restaurant on the property that opens at noon.
The vast collection of aircraft and helicopters is amazing. I love the DC-3, MD-80, and DC-9 that is on the property. The DC-9 used to transport Pope John Paul II and once transported the World Cup winning Italian soccer team.
They also had a Bertone Collection of cars exhibition that was outstanding. Really interesting.
I loved my visit and highly recommend to all avgeeks and aviation enthusiasts.

Short walk from Malpensa. Just follow the sign to the museum from the terminal. Walk across the white bridge to the back of the museum. You can either walk along the fence to the front entrance, or call the number on the back gate and ask the staff to bring you in.

Renaissance-era square with arcades, now home to bars, restaurants & shops, plus a cathedral facade.
Even when we visited Vigevano in one of late September afternoons the piazza was almost deserted. It seemd that people were still on holiday and most shops were closed. It had a very calm and peaceful vibes to the town. Had a quiet stroll around the Piazza and had snacks and coffee. We enjoyed the couple of hours we had there a lot.

Amazing square!
Built between 1492 and 1494 at the wishes of Ludovico il Moro, Piazza Ducale was one of the first models of a Renaissance square and is one of the best examples of XV century Lombard architecture. Work on building the square began in 1492 and lasted two years. In October 1494 the new square was there to welcome the visit of Charles VIII. Donato Bramante was undoubtedly present among those architects involved in the work at the Milan nobles’ court.
The Piazza was built to add lustre to the town as the preferred residence of the Duke. The antechamber to the entrance of the imposing Visconti-Sforza castle, it originally had a flight of stone steps permitting the triumphal entrance of the Dukes to the Castle residence.

A few years ago I read somewhere that this was one of the most beautiful squares in the world. The numerous photos by pros and tourists testify it. Being born in Piedmont, I used to visit this quaint town quite often, appreciating its medieval cobblestone alleys, to reach the piazza Ducale and enjoy an excellent ice cream. A lot has changed, nothing stays forever, but the square has maintained its grandeur. The historical shops have disappeared in favor of expensive eateries with rude and hasty service, aiming only at you spending $ on mediocre food and drinks. Head towards the hidden, narrow streets that surround it and you’ll find small pubs and food joints with courteous and amicable service and decent prices. By the way, DO visit the Sforza castle, it’s a true medieval gem with frescos, ancient and secret gardens and horse stables. It’ll satisfy your cravings for history and well kept ancient artifacts

The Basilica of San Gaudenzio is a prominent landmark in Novara, Italy. Its towering central cupola, reaching 121 meters high, makes it visible from almost anywhere in the city. The 19th-century masterpiece features ornate columns and colorful frescos inside its opulent interior. This is the symbol of this fascinating city! I never been inside and I don't think that it's even possible as far as I know. Anyway, it surely emanates charme and provide an amazing photo object. From its stairs, it starts a ~9 Km red carpet that will bring you to Portofino.

Located in the picturesque Gavi hills, Designer Outlet Serravalle is a sprawling shopping center designed to resemble an Italian village. It offers a delightful shopping experience with tree-lined streets and fountains, along with great deals on designer brands. The outlet features over 230 stores showcasing international and Italian designer labels, including renowned names like Casadei, Iceberg, and MMissoni. Visitors can also explore 11 dining options ranging from cafes to restaurants for a well-rounded experience.
Superb outlet with a large choice of luxury stores (gucci, prada, burberry, michael kors, etc.). The prices are very affordable compared to their initial prices, you can find what you are looking for! To eat there are a lot of fast food (macdo, burger king) and also a few restaurants. To go there from Milan, I recommend taking the shuttle on Get your guide for 20 euros round trip per person, the drive takes about 1h30!

You can say, it is not bad outlet mall.
They have different brands and little bit big.
The prices are still high but you can find something.
One hour from Milan driving and there is some buses you can use to come here to the outlet.
You need consider a full day from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Great Outlet Center 45 min away from Genoa. Besides the usual big sports brands there are many designer shops and also local Italian clothing companies. Great discount for a lot of products. Convenient free parking right outside near the shops. There is also VIP parking for 5 Euro all day. Very clean outlet village. If you have money to spend on clothes and accessories this is the place to visit.

- 45 minutes from Rome central station
- limited brand (many brands are missing)
- good prices
- comparing it with other outlets it’s smallest little bit
- worth to visit if you in Rome
-by taxi around 35 to 50 Euro

The outlet is fantastic and here is my advice before visiting please:
1- Come with full stomach ( not hungry) otherwise you’ll waist your time in long cue to order food because of the crowded
2- come as early as possible otherwise you’ll wait about 20 minutes to get inside each shop
3- come early to find cars 🚗 parking
4- bring a suitcase 🧳 with you to carry your purchased items otherwise you’ll be tired of carrying stuff
5- Dressed well especially if you’re visiting in Winter ❄️ + comfortable shoes

If you want to hunt designer goods with a good bargain, this is the place. Its not offer new arrival product, but some of the product still a steal deal. Prepare about 2-3 hours to enjoy your hunting in this big hunting ground. The place is too open to the sky with minimum shade. Buy 151eur in one receipt to eligible for tax refund, please ask the cashier as the minimum value might change from time to time. You can not combine several receipt, it must be in one receipt to be eligible for tax claim.

Waste of a whole day. Two or three hours are enough instead. But the shuttle only allows for a whole day's travel. And also suitable only for those who want to buy a lot of brands and like shopping malls. Those who come to Milan for a few days, it is not worth going all the way there and wasting an entire day.
Beyond that, a nice place, beautiful and designed, very comfortable to walk around

Definitely a must if you care -at least a bit- on fashion. Don't expect to find everything here nor the best prices (check this offer), but the site is very well designed. Few restaurants and bars too.

The outlet mall offers a fantastic shopping experience with a wide variety of shops, including designers and luxury brands. Located just an hour from Milan, the journey is smooth and easy, making it a convenient destination for a day of shopping. Additionally, having a tax refund office inside the mall adds to the convenience and overall appeal of this shopping destination.

+ You can visit the other clothes shops such as h&m OVS and mega supermarkets including electronic shops which are located near to this outlet
+ Many restaurants including fast foods are available
+ Enough free parking available
+ Amazing architecture
+ They speak English in most of the shops
- Always packed, so crowded (people from whole europe visits here even from Russia 😳)
- Prices are expensive
- Mostly you wait in lines in front of the outlet shops (Covid regulations)
- Compulsory mask and hand disinfection
- Very hot during the summer

An outdoor outlet mall, clean, organised and have almost all the big brands. It is 150 mins from Milan. You can go by taxi and cost you about 200 euro or by a shuttle bus that cost about 20 euro. Try to choose your time carefully because weather can make your experience are very bad especially in summer. They have variety of restaurants. Prices are not that cheap it differ than airport (tax free) by about 10%. Quite different than American outlets which give much low prices.
My experience was not bad. I recommend a visit but not a must.

2nd time in 11 years. Great to be back.
Vast place to wonder, immaculately maintained, super clean wash room, good brands but you have to look deep to spot the discounted stuff. Most stuff are reasonably priced.
Food kiosk and McDonald served nice food to munched. You dun have time for a full meal. Take the entire day to shop this place.

This is by far the largest outlet I’ve come across in North Italy. They have plenty of brands to select from, and the walking area is well organized and quite decent. Plenty of seating and eatery’s to choose from. One could spend an easy 1-2 days here; mainly heavy shoppers. And July is the month of heavy sale, I believe.
Fahd Batayneh فهد بطاينة — Google review
The bigger brands like Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Burberry, Loro Piana... have more goods and selections to choose from (and just a matter of personal taste to get anything you like). Celine is disappointing though. Discount-wise is quite attractive.
Overall the outlet does have quite some shops to browse for a day leisurely. A few restaurants to choose from, and some reside on the other side of the main road which you can cross by a bridge.
We took the shuttle service from Milan Centrale. The morning trip took quite long as some shoppers bought tickets at the spot when onboarding and also stopped mid-point for more pickup. The bus left Centrale at 10:15 (instead of the scheduled 10:00) and arrived at the outlet around 11:50. The return trip left on time at 18:30 and arrived back to Centrale at 20:00. The shuttle staff was pleasant though.

When in search of designer brands (Gucci, Prada, Armani) or discounts on my favorites (Coach, Nike, Levis Tommy H.), I go here. Prices in Milan city center exceed my budget but I will always find something here. It's also near some nice vinyards. A good day trip from Milan or when traveling to Piedmont region.
Celia A. — Google review
Although the place is far from Milan, there is a direct bus tour from Milano Centrale. The ticket for the trip costs €25, and the bus departs at 09:00, arriving at 11:00. This gives you ample time to explore all the shops there. Please note the time schedule for the ticket; if your return ticket is for 16:15, you should be at the bus by that time, or else you will need to purchase a flexible ticket for an additional €5 and wait until the next hour to return to Milan. During my visit, not many shops were having sales, but the prices were reasonable, and the workers welcomed everyone with a smile. My advice is to go there on weekdays when it’s less crowded, making it easier to shop. The prices for food in the area are not very cheap but are acceptable. Anyway, I would like to visit again during the festive or sales seasons

Great place for shopping both luxury & designer brands! This place has a nice mix for all budgets, overall a great place to spend the day shopping. Beautiful interior in this church from the 12th century to Evasius, who was beheaded in the 4th century.
The striped pillars reminded me of Moorish influences, but that would be out of sync with history.
There is a large crucifix over the main altar, which was taken from a church in Alessandria, when the people of Casale got back their relics of Saint Evasio which were stolen by Alessandrians before.
At the entrance are steel sculptures

The 18th-century Citadel of Alessandria, which boasts a multi-point star shape, has parklike grounds that visitors can explore. Its remarkable history is set to be revived thanks to the outstanding efforts of people in Alessandria and the EU. Boccadasse is a primarily residential area that extends from an old fishing village. The houses are painted in soft pastel tones and adorned with green shutters, creating an inviting atmosphere. The Galata Museo del Mare (GAM) is a large maritime museum in Genoa, Italy. It has exhibits on the history of shipping and navigation, with reconstructions of ships and a moored submarine. The museum is well-known for its extensive collection of original artifacts from all over the world.
Very interesting museum to visit. Tears of joy as my great grandfather left from Genova to immigrate to Brazil in the 1920's , so it was very touching to me to see how all the process went through for him. It was a very emotional experience for me. If not at least for the historical aspect of it. I also liked the written letters by Christophe Colombus, who was originally from Genova.

A big and good museum. The maritime museum offers a good overview of Genova’s naval and maritime activities from the late middle ages to now. The have several life size ships inside the building that you can walk through, which is impressive, especially the medieval galley. They provide much information, but not always with a translation of the Italian. A special treat is the visit to the submarine nearby, which is amazing. There is an interesting part on emigration and immigration. Some floors have special exhibitions. The top floor offers a wonderful view of the city with some indications of important structures. If you would find the museum a bit too big, because the entire visit can take a few hours, you can always skip parts.

I like maritime museums, they’re a quick way of learning the history of a city & culture. We came in knowing little about Genoa, we left impressed & wanting to learn more. The museum is laid out well so it’s fairly easy to navigate. It’s not overly large, so you won’t get museum-fatigue. Some exhibits are dusty & looking a bit forlorn, others were obviously sponsored by a corporation & quite spiffy. Did we wish there were more placards in English? Sure. But no matter, there was enough to get the gist. Definitely definitely go up to the roof, sit & soak in the view

A truly fantastic day out! If you're spending time in Genoa, I highly recommend a visit to this museum.
As an English speaking guest, I found it a bit difficult to understand most of the detailed descriptions of artefacts on display (since all are written in Italian). There are some QR codes dotted around to access a translated version of the displays (there is free WiFi at this museum!).
PRO TIP: Download the Google Translate app to your phone! Use this to automatically translate descriptions and live translate conversations into your desired language (to fully understand the interactive videos on the upper floors).
BEST BITS: Visit the interactive "Immigration to America" to experience what it was like for millions of Italians migrating to the USA. You can grab a free passport and travel documents at the beginning of this exhibit on the 3rd floor.
Take a tour inside a real submarine! The S518 Nazario Sauro is docked in the harbour directly outside the museum. You'll be given a hard-hat and a hairnet at reception at the end of your tour around the museum (just show them your ticket for entry). You can also collect audio guides from this location.
Ticket prices (for museum and submarine visit 2022):
Adults: 19€
Concessions: 17€
Children from 4-12yrs 14€
(Please note children under 3 cannot go inside the submarine)
You can also buy tickets for only the museum at a cheaper rate (prices between 13€ to 8€)

It was a bit boring ,the kids didn't have fun there.
Prices are too high for what is available.
A lot of paintings without lighting to see as it should.
The submarine does not take more than 5 minutes to visit, but it is nice to see inside it once in a lifetime.
My children are 3 and 6 years old and I find it is not for their age because they are not having fun.

We bought the Genova museum card which gives 24h access to many museums. Unfortunately no way near all... Which they don't do a lot to tell you about.
For example this museum was included - but just not the submarine - which they wanted additional 6 EUR/person for... (Didn't buy)
In my opinion, this is not reasonable and ruins the supposedly good deal with the museum card.
Regarding this museum, there was too little info in English to make it interesting.
Woman at counter did nothing to make it a good experience and never informed about any audio guide etc.
Several interesting points about navigation was impossible to understand as only Italian.
The emigration part was good - you learned about the trip conditions etc.

The museum is spread over 5 floors. In the, partly historical, areas of the building, the exhibitions are sorted according to different eras and topics. The rooms are detailed and lovingly designed and are a work of art in themselves. So you walk through authentic interiors of ships, through Brazilian huts, through a submarine and much more. Two huge, faithful replicas of ships can be freely explored. The display cases and exhibits are very authentically staged. There are also sub-action options in some areas. Unfortunately, the multilingualism of all the information conveyed in the museum fails. A guide for non-Italian speakers would be helpful. Online, the information in some rooms can be displayed in different languages.
For children under 4 years the museum is only conditionally suitable, since they find only few Possibilities of interaction for their age group, besides the entrance to the submarine in the port (in the ticket included) for children under 4 years is not allowed.
Once at the top, you can enjoy the view over Genoa and the harbor from the panoramic terrace.

We visited the museum as we had a rainy day and needed something to pass the time. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our visit!
We spent over 3 hours at the museum and enjoyed every moment. It is easy to lose interest in some museums when you visit for a long time, but we did not get that at all. The exhibits were well presented and varied enough to keep things interesting. There is also something for everyone, including history, art, and interactive exhibits.
Highly recommend giving this museum a visit if you are in the area.

If you enjoy maritime history and exhibits, put the Galata Museo del Mare on your list of things to do in Genoa. Five floors of interesting exhibits across hundreds of years related to sailing and shipping over the seas. Kind staff, great panoramic views from the top floor, and though I was solo on my visit, this would be a good experience for families as well. Only challenge I had was, with my limited and lacking Italian language skills, I didn't get to fully engage with several of the exhibits that were in Italian only. Fortunately there is Google Translate to help out.

Great museum, very unpleasant staff (especially the older lady with glasses from reception). She was very annoyed by every question we had and she answered very "edgy" (we if they had an audio guide available and from where we can take helmets for submarine). Altough everywhere in the museum it is written you can acces the audio guide with the ticket code and 1 euro, she said no audio guide exists. She also sent us all the time to her colleague, meaning to change the row and sit in line again altough her colleague was 30 cm in her right and she was free, no one was behind us and we already sat in line.

Interesting. I thought it had enough English for me, but I can see why some people complain about only the Italian for a lot of it. I still found it enjoyable, but maybe a bit high priced for 17 Euro. The front staff were extremely nice to me. Amazing experience in a fantastic interactive museum. Galata Museum is a journey through history to understand the progression of ships and how naval instruments change to guide the navigation, how ancient people lived on top of ships, the vital role of migration over time, it is an inclusive experience that will engage everyone with the perfect naval reconstruction, photograph, 3Ds experience and the different structure of each floor. The last one was a wonderful surprise: the last 12 hours on the Andrea Doria, the recreation is wonderful and the reward is the breathtaking view on the city on the last floor. An adventure to do not miss for adults, children, families in which everyone will find his own space.

The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest aquarium in Europe and features around 12,000 different species of fish and marine mammals. It's also home to six million litres (1.6m gallons) of water, making it one of the biggest aquariums in the world. The size of some of the tanks is impressive, especially for creatures like dolphins and sharks. Kids will love exploring all the exhibits, from manatees to coral reefs.
Book an early entrance (by 10am) so that there are fewer people so you can enjoy and see exhibits more easily. Price paid is fair. Lots to see. Don't miss the jellyfish and vivarium section. You need to cross to another side. Easily missed as you might think you're done.

A very nice aquarium with a variety of fish and aquatic animals. It’s worthwhile visiting and you could easily spend a couple of hours if not half a day. If you are with kids, you should plan on spending half a day here as there are plenty to see and will keep the kids interested. The exotic fish and marine life is well kept although one can always argue if the environment they are kept in is truly fair, especially for the marine mammals such as the dolphins and larger fish such as the sharks. The penguins are an added attraction here. You could take a break at the cafe inside the aquarium and spend some time taking in the views from the deck, with the views of the port.

Quite nicely done even though it still seems like the space, especially for the bigger animals, is too constrained. Still struggling with the ethical part of visiting such places, but it's so tempting to see the animals. Too many kids tho.

I visited the aquarium with my school and it was a really nice experience. There is an enormous collection of all kind of sea creatures. We also saw penguins, crocodiles and turtles. Obviously there were also scary and strange sharks. Furthermore we were lucky enough to see a dolphin show.
If you plan to visit this place I highly recommend you call them and get your tickets in advanced, because it can get very crowded very fast.

Really great aquarium with beautiful exhibits and wonderful experiences for all ages.
Book tickets in advance. Get there as early as possible if you'd rather not have too overwhelming a crowd.
Not always convenient lifts/enough for strollers and accessibility.

Great experience, really worth a visit.
Animals are kept in a convenient environment, the site is clean, well-preserved. Visitor information is clear, and interactive at a level you may expect any museum / attraction in the 2020s. Staff is also very nice.
Avoid weekends if you wanna hear less screaming from kids. :-)

Amazing place. The animals are well looked after, lovely variety of marine life, friendly staff and a great gift assortment with 2 gift shops. Spent roughly 4 hours here and was time well spent. Would definitely recommend

After a quick breakfast, we visited the Aquarium of Genoa. We recommend going early in order to beat the crowds. It’s never that big of a crowd, although any crowd will obstruct your viewing experience. It’s very impressive, their selection. Penguins, piranhas, sturgeon, manatees, seals, dolphins, sharks, chameleons, jellyfish - they’ve got it all. Totally fun for the whole family and very fun to shoot video.
Ralph N — Google review
Make sure to buy your ticket before you go, queues out the front can be ridiculously long, and exhibits are crazily busy, especially in school holidays. Amazing array of creatures and sea life, although was wary that some enclosures felt insufficiently deep or wide. Gift shop #sucked.

Wonderful aquarium. Compared to other similar places, this is quite large, the kids were very happy. We stayed about 4 hours (including nice lunch at the terrace with beautiful view over harbour). Price is quite high, but it is a half-day event.

Not the biggest but really beautiful place, loved the huge aquariums where you could just sit and admire all the animals.
There’s also a restaurant inside with a great view.
Overall not too many aquariums but they have some species that other/bigger aquariums don’t have. In the end once you finished you still have a lot of time to explore the beautiful city!

Excellent place to visit - one of the highlights of our train trip around Italy. Kept us very entertained for about 2 hours easily. Perfect for kids but also without. Very interactive and everything is in English and Italian. Everything looks very clean and all animals look in good condition and well cared for. Very good price for what you get. Highly recommended.

Really nice aquarium. My kids were so happy to visit it. Well organised .
Just remember to buy the tickets in advance and to book online your entry time.
It is easy to reach with the car .. plenty of parking in the area.
Ivan Pelizzari — Google review
Very outdated, poorly maintained aquarium with dark lighting and foggy uncleaned glass. Some exhibits were nice, like the Seahorses. Be mindful that the signage directing you to the exhibits is very poor, you do not get a visitor map and there are few signs informing you of the right way to proceed. Especially confusing with the upper and lower levels. After we visited the Penguin enclosure we were brought to a giant white building that had little signs, other than for lockers or bathrooms. There was a big desk that read “Behind The Scenes” and that requires an extra ticket (€8). So we turned back, not even realizing there was another big section of the aquarium after that. Very poor layout and guidance. When we asked about the other exhibits on the pier, they told us to go outside and we will find the Biosphere €5 extra) and other things. That is when we realized there is a Dolphin tank and Tropical Rainforest area… but it was too late. Once you go outside, you can not re-enter. Of course, it’s sad that they keep dolphins in a small tank anyway, so probably better not to see that. And finally, we were surrounded by aggressive migrants forcing us to take bracelets and souvenirs and begging for money along the entire area of the aquarium. From the entrance to the exit. Almost no security around.
Overall, this aquarium should be priced around €15 for the quality of the current experience. After our visit, we felt let down and overcharged. I hope they consider a major renovation to improve the exhibits and signage and consider discontinuing the dolphin shows and instead use the facility to rehabilitate and release injured or abandoned dolphins.
Jadran — Google review
A good price compared to some I've been too. Some animals we never thought we would see so one very happy girlfriend. The tropical pool was incredible. But then some others were rather Barron so felt sorry for them.
But all in a great aquarium and a great aquarium

(Translated by Google) A beautiful walk ...
but it could be so much better. 4 years after the storm that had destroyed it in several places and still to be finished 👏. Total absence of benches along the way 😢 I don't find it very hospitable. The worst thing is the lack of distinction between the pedestrian and the cycling path ... leaving the latter free to run anywhere without respecting pedestrians. Very dangerous. The landscape pays off but as usual ... unfinished !!! 🤬

Molto pericoloso. Il paesaggio ripaga ma come al solito... incompiuta!!! 🤬

(Translated by Google) The walk deserves 5 stars. It's a really nice place to walk, beautiful beaches and fantastic view.. But to be honest, something could be improved. Along the way there are very few benches, and being the walk itself quite long and without much shade, this could be a problem. There is also no bicycle lane, which can lead to collisions between cyclists and pedestrians.

Lovely village and restaurants, making this wall the perfect place to take a passagiata after dining or bathing at the local beach!

Nice ski area where you can find slopes for all levels.
Nice staff, nice views, toilets are free and most of the time clean.
The only bad point is that the direction is greedy for the tamping of the slopes, no tamping from Sunday to Saturday ... a little bit exaggerated
But despite that it is a really nice place to enjoy days with friends or family for an honest price.

A bit hard for a beginner. A lot of reds and blacks, a few blues.
Maneggio is the place to go if you are new to skiing, there's easy access chair-lifts/ski-lifts as well as really good restaurants. Ate pretty good pizzas there that wasn't too expensive.
If you are renting ski equipment near the village, you can take the cable car up but only red trails will be available to get to Maneggio. We had a hard time on the first day to get there since it was our first time, we chose to walk on the second day (approx 10min from Bottero Ski shop to Maneggio).
Booking the skipass online was quite a hard task, the website is mostly in italian with some bad translations, but managed to get past it and get a pass for me and 2 friends.

Monaco's upscale casino is a beautiful, famous building with luxurious surroundings. The casino has many different rooms with themes, and you can usually find expensive cars parked outside. You can also place bets on games like roulette and blackjack without having to worry about the cost too much.
The casino is magical. But the best is having lunch in the salone rose. The food is amazing and prices are low compared to the location.
But also, if you have a reservation at the restaurant, you don't pay the entrance to the casino. What else?!

Upscale and amazing AF! Men…you must have close toed shoes to enter the casino floor and there is a dress code that’s different in the afternoon vs the evening so make sure to know the dress code for when you’re going. Although there is a line at the front, it actually didn’t take us very long time to get in to the building. Visit the building is free but it cost €17 to enter the casino. The Monte Carlo Casino is an exquisite masterpiece that transports visitors into a realm of opulence and sophistication. Nestled in the heart of Monaco, this iconic establishment exudes an aura of grandeur that is truly unparalleled. From the moment you step foot into its lavish halls, you're enveloped in an ambiance that effortlessly blends tradition with modernity.
The architecture is a testament to the timeless elegance that has come to define Monte Carlo. Intricately designed ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and ornate detailing showcase a level of craftsmanship that is both breathtaking and inspiring. The roulette tables and card games are like strategic battles, where wit and luck collide in a dance of excitement.
As a 15-year-old with a keen interest in history and culture, the Monte Carlo Casino provided a captivating lesson in both. Observing the diverse crowd of patrons, each engrossed in their games of chance, I couldn't help but appreciate the universality of human nature – the thrill of risk-taking and the pursuit of fortune.
The staff's impeccable service further elevated my experience. Courteous and knowledgeable, they effortlessly guided newcomers through the world of gambling, making it accessible and enjoyable for all.
In every aspect, the Monte Carlo Casino earns a resounding five stars from me. It is not just a place for gambling; it is a living masterpiece that immerses you in a realm of elegance, history, and entertainment. A must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable glimpse into the world of high-stakes allure.

We didn't go in, but the outside and grounds are beautiful. The 4 stars are because it states clearly on their website what the dress code is for entering, but they were letting men in with shorts and t-shirts. I'm guessing that if yiu have enough money, they don't care how you're dressed.

What a great casino to visit! I wasn't sure I could get in, but it is no problem to see the foyer, and the inside is beautiful - you just can't go into the casino area unless you're dressed correctly and your pockets are full of money. Disappointed. They had fancy cars in front of the casino. I don’t understand why people give so good reviews. The casino is everything that Hollywood has made it to be. The energy, the ambiance, and the mystery.
It's worth your time to visit it twice. Come during the day and make another visit during the evening hours. You will walk away with different perspectives. There is an entrance fee to the casino (18E) that can be credited towards game play.
The casino also provides daytime tours for individuals and families. Grab a beverage at the adjacent Cafe de Paris, and people watch to your hearts desire. There are also multiple restaurants within the casino that are open to the public (make a reservation in advance).

recently visited the Monte Carlo Casino and had a unique experience. The entry fee was 18€, which included 10€ credit for the slot machines - a fair deal to kickstart the gaming. While the casino was enjoyable, I did notice a lack of variety in gaming options. It’s important to note that the casino opens in the evening, so do check the timings before planning your visit. One of the highlights for me was the atmosphere outside the casino. The area buzzes with a fantastic vibe, enhanced by the parade of luxury cars. It’s quite a spectacle and adds to the overall charm of the place. For anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind experience in a luxurious setting, Monte Carlo Casino is definitely worth a visit.

Maybe I was expecting too much, but this wasn't special by any means. First, they charge you a fee to enter, and the women doing so were fairly rude doing it. Next, you go through security, and I went to the cage to exchange currency. Their exchange rate was crazy and they pocketed at least another 150 over the rate. When exchanging, I asked if drinks were included, and he said yes. We go to a roulette table change out a grand and orde drinks. Drinks come, and they want 80 Euros for them and argue the cage was wrong. The place is as beautiful as every picture you have ever seen. In the stain glass, you can see the year 1889, and the architecture is magnificent, but unfortunately, and probably most important to a casino was the vibe. This place was as dead as a cemetery at midnight. I would estimate less than 40 people in the entire place. No excitement, no winning, no atmosphere, just a nice building where they take your money. (That said, I won 300 😉 and still felt it was a bust)

We didn't go inside the casino to gamble because we were only on a day trip from Nice and preferred to wander around the city. It was pretty empty since it was still preseason and raining. Even if you're not into gambling, it's worth checking out the free rooms you can enter. And if you do decide to gamble, the prices aren't too bad for a world-famous casino, so it's something to consider.

Casino square in Monaco is a great place to see lots of amazing cars and plenty of people. There is the Hotel De Paris which is lovely inside. Then there is the casino which is a beautiful place to visit. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Monaco

Too many people. Strange mirror dish in center looks out of place. Casino itself looks cheaper and smaller than you may think. Looks more like railway station. Nothing like James Bond movies. Plastic wrap on carpet at entrance was very luxury.

For sure a place to visit in Monaco… just wait and see and the luxury car coming! Take a picture for you, your family or your friends… you will see : Bentley, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, MC Laren, …

We visited the square infront of the famous Monte Carlo casino and left a bit dissapointed. The roundabout is a walking zone and only a few of the "nice sport cars" were parked so actually nothing much to see. Took a picture and moved on behind the casino for the sea view and famous soccer hand/footprints and signatures.

Exceptional architecture which is made better by the beautiful surroundings and well maintained complex. This is a must visit for every tourist and car lovers as you get to see many of the most beautiful ones very closely.

The casino is like a fancy palace, and it's okay-ish. You have to pay to go in, and there are rules about how you should dress. When I put up a tripod to take pictures outside, a security guard quickly told me to take it down.

Best and magic time of the year in Monaco!
In Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol,' he emphasizes the importance of humanity, compassion, and kindness towards others. He highlights universal values of humanity that transcend religious boundaries, emphasizing the significance of compassion and aiding others."
The Musee Oceanographique de Monaco, established by navigator and oceanographer Prince Albert I, is a world-renowned museum situated on the edge of a cliff since 1910. The museum boasts an impressive aquarium with over 6000 specimens including sharks, marine predators, and tropical fish separated by coral reefs.
Very beautiful ocean aquarium museum with so much information about each fish and creature, interactive boards and a lovely gift store to buy soveiners. It's a grand building so beautiful 😍

Must visit place. I’ve travelled a lot, and it’s a first place with a crystal clean aquarium glasses, which makes a huge difference in perception of wonderful sea creatures. The adventure atmosphere is in every museum corner. Before visiting, please check in advance the main exhibition and 3d adventure open hours. Enjoy!

Really good for families with young children. The aquarium had beautiful sea creatures, including small fish, different species of sharks as well as a giant turtle. Really well coordinated, with a great oceanic museum, a nice outdoor restaurant and a mini play area at the above terrace with a beautiful view overseeing yhe coast. Highly recommended when in Monaco.

Nice and interesting, aquarium part was the best. A couple years ago you could pet sharks but we didn’t find the tank now.
It’s not cheap but it’s understandable, there are many animals to take care of.
I do not recommend going on the rooftop without sunglasses during the day ! It’s gonna blind you.

Lovely place. It is not the largest or most rich museum of this type, but it is really worth seeing because it has interesting specimens and an aesthetic, interesting way of presenting it. The service was okay, the prices were not too high. In my opinion, it is worth an hour or two for sightseeing. And there is a nice gift shop at the end - which also sells interesting books.

If you’re in Monaco and you have kids, then you must visit this marvelous aquarium!! It’s is so well laid out, with amazing fish tanks and interactive rooms and exhibits. I would definitely return, if I come back to Monaco.

Nice aquarium and museum all in one. Prices are not bad, especially for the 1 year membership.
Good place to take your kids. Lots of different species which is nice.

Amazing museum, great technical solutions, informative signs and beautiful creatures in the aquariums. Fits for all generations, everyone should visit and expect that's big so can spend inside 2-3 hours or more easily. One tiny minus is that related to the recent royal family there is bit too much hype, for my taste (installation, footage, even a painting).

Extremely beautiful place. Different zones. Highly recommended Mission Polar this year. Beautiful nature around. Aquarium best. Tickets after 17-00 are cheaper you can buy online.

I always bring my friends and family here when they visit. Everyone always enjoys coming here.
They have a lot of aquariums and an outdoor area with turtles and tortoises.
If you go to the top floor, you’ll get an amazing view of the principality from the rooftop. There is also a little cafe there. They do different events, from lectures and seminars to immersive experiences.
You can buy a discounted student ticket for both the oceanography museum and the zoo, or the palace.

Wow!! A must visit. Approx 50€ for a family of 4. We spent over 3 hours exploring the many areas including an outdoors aquarium with fish and a 60kg turtle, Samy! Lots of different species to look at with explanations in English which was helpful! Very clean and lots of toilet opportunities. Once out of the aquarium part, make sure you explore the 1st floor, it has lots of interactive things to do with children.

Best aquarium I have ever seen! Way way better that the one in Barcelona! Would recommend to everyone. Make sure you go at the top floor terrace after you are finished to see a great view on the city of Monaco! 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would give 50 stars if I could. A fantastic place not to be missed by anyone visiting Monaco. Beautiful cleanliness everywhere, they are very kind. Whether it's part of the museum or the aquarium, it's an unforgettable experience. The most wonderful was the Mission Polar exhibition, it was incredibly wonderful! Thank you very much! I bought the ticket online in advance, so it was a good price with a combined ticket with the prince's car collection. It's very interactive. It was the most memorable place for us in Monaco. The building is beautiful.

A very neat experience! The Aquarium was quite crowded, but it had a lot of specimens and lots of aquatic life that I don't often see displayed. In addition the museum was interesting to go through. It had lots of information about Monaco's involvement with sea exploration. It also had a lot of information on climate change and how we can make an impact.

This place is worth a visit, a very good Aquarium.
There is the usual indoor section, in addition there is an outdoor section and a large museum upstairs with a lot of naval history and interactive attractions and articles within.
Price was reasonable, individual prices and not a family deal.
Tickets bought at the entrance and access was straight away. There were barriers for busier times, so I anticipate it gets busier.
There is also a large room upstairs with all the walls being screens and plays a number of videos about the north and South Pole and tether climates, also with interaction

I spent about 3 hours here. They have all the fish aquariums you’d probably expect to see, and I loved all of it. It’s easy to get caught up watching these marine life.
Make sure to also go upstairs! There’s information on Prince Albert’s explorations of the ocean and also a semi-interactive experience of the north and South Pole that I really enjoyed. I posted some videos of it as well.

Great museum. The aquarium is a bit dated. Take your time through the museum exhibits. Visit the rooftop terrace for a spectacular 360 view.

Great place, worth a visit. A bit hard to understand where to start, so it is easy to miss a floor. I recommend to start on the bottom floor and go up. Also worth to know if you are staying in nice/France that internet is not working here, and it's not possible to book Uber because there is no uber in Monaco. My lifesaver was a phone outside (next to ticket shop) the phone is for taxi and they are pretty fast.

The museum is housed in an impressive building, right near the sea. The exhibits themselves are ok, but below what you can see in Valencia for example.
The view from the top terrace is really nice.

Loved my experience at this museum that also educated visitors on the importance of disposing waste properly. The tortoise and turtle sanctuary was the highlight of the trip as I was lucky enough to be there during a feeding session.

The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco is one of those places that is recommended to be visited when you are in the principality. The museum has two lower floors and three floors above. The lower floors are the aquariums, which I would describe as the sea creatures zoo, and, irrespective of in what glamorous condition they are kept, is animal abuse in glorified clothes. The upper floors, though, were very interesting as they focused on polar exploration and the role that Monaco has played and is still playing in conserving the oceans and the environment.

Went on a Tuesday afternoon. The aquarium is on the small side but has some interesting sea creatures. On the up floor there was a sea exploration exhibit that I wish was larger. But overall it was something to do for an hour.
It's also notable that the views are excellent.
Worth the admission fee.

An absolutely amazing experience, there were so many exhibitons. I spent 2-3 hours wandering through the entire museum. Unfortunately, I went over the weekend, which was quite crowded so I'd recommended going earlier in the day or over the week. All in all, great experience, stunning views, well worth the admission price
Port de Fontvieille is a redeveloped area with a 275-boat marina, surrounded by restaurants and shops. It offers beautiful views and a quieter atmosphere compared to other places in Monaco. The port is known for its stunning sunrise views and welcoming locals. Visitors can enjoy the sight of luxurious yachts, expensive cars, and fine dining while taking a leisurely walk around the area.
Beautiful cove and port to walk around with amazing views.
This is also where the shopping Center is located. Also around the port are a-lot of restaurants.
Really nice area, we enjoyed spending time here. Less crowded then most places.

If you love yachts, expensive cars and some fine dining yet somewhere a little quieter than Port Hercule with views of the Palace and the Mediterranean, this is the place.

One of the nicest locations in Monte Carlo! We got up super early around 5 am in order to capture this sunrise photo, totally worth it and can’t wait to return one day. Monegasque people were so welcoming and friendly. Thankyou!

I was surprised by the port and the yachts of different value located in this port. With Antibes there is of course a difference, especially in the price category.

wow. its like another world. ... with ferraris and mclarens in shop windows and the red and white curbs from F1 . its a place worth visiting. it is really busy and parking can be an issue but worth it

Perfect place for a nice night. If you are lucky, while dining, you will see the moon rising ... restaurants are nice, good meal, no dress code. Parking is allowed in front of the restaurants. Crowded is summer. Less in winter

I love the view. There is lot of restaurant. I like to order to go and have a sit on the pier watching boat and the sea. I enjoy going there during my lunch break, having fun and disconnect. Good to walk to !
