I entered with a photo exhibition that I can watch for free. It was a refreshing experience to see the beautiful pictures of nature taken around Iida City. I told my companion that it would be cool in the summer. A lot of information rooted in Iida is exhibited. Personally, I was interested in the exhibition that the ancient Suwa Mishaguji faith also exists in Iida (Shimoina district). I wanted to see it better. And I wanted to study. I wondered if the people of the old age who lived in the Kitada site (Kamihisakata) also worshiped Mishaguji. (Translated by Google) I came to see the cherry blossoms🌸. March 30, 2022 At Nano, I was thinking that it was too early to see the canas that hadn't bloomed yet, but I took the trouble to run 300km from <Tokyo>, so I stretched my legs a little and visited [Iida City Museum of Art]. ] I came here while looking for cherry blossoms on the premises. While coming by car 🚙, I came to see the weeping trees of Kozenji Temple in Komagane seven years ago with my family in Kana⁉️ and was very moved. I went to see Kozenji Temple for the first time in a long time, expecting to see the harmony of the wonderful weeping cherry blossoms🌸.When I saw the lonely scenery with only branches and no petals to be seen, I felt completely relaxed👔. Ta. Well, when I asked a female staff member at a souvenir shop right in front of the site about the status of cherry blossoms 🌸 blooming, I was told that it's around April 20th every year. That's what I'm told. That being said, it's just before we get there, and it's not in bloom, so it's just a normal day ❗️, I tell myself not to have too high expectations, and I drive my car 🚙. There are 1st and 2nd parking lots 🅿️, first park your car 🚙 and start walking to the grounds of the [Art Museum]. It's blooming ♪👌, it's blooming ♪👌👌. A magnificent cherry blossom tree with large branches buries its feet in the ground and swells magnificently. The excess thickness around the trunk gives it strength for life. It's a wonderful cherry blossom🌸👌👌. How many hundred years old is it? When I got closer, I saw that the tree was 400 years old. [Edohigan cherry blossoms🌸] Even if I tried to take a picture with my cell phone 📲, the whole thing wouldn't fit in the camera frame, so it was really big. It's okay if you take pictures from a distance! I'm saying this from someone who has never been here before, but if you move away, the trees in the foreground will obstruct the view, making it impossible to take a good photo of the majestic [Edohigan cherry blossoms]❗️. While walking around the area, I wondered if I could take some good photos here. I took a photo at a place called 📸. A wonderful and beautiful cherry blossom🌸👌. There is a huge cherry blossom tree in Katashina Village, Gunma Prefecture, which is called Tennozakura. This ``Tennozakura🌸'' is also a 400-year-old wonderful and spectacular cherry blossom🌸. I got off at Kanetsu's Numata Interchange and rode for about an hour, then went to Katashina Village a few times to see the Tennozakura, and I felt so wonderful that my body trembled at its completed beauty👌 . Come to think of it, the cherry blossoms that stand inside the Tamozawa Imperial Villa in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture are also wonderful cherry blossoms, and I believe the tree in the distance is said to be 300 years old. The large cherry blossoms in my class 🌸 were truly amazing in their overwhelming sense of life, and I thought they must have been chosen by God and assigned to bloom here in full bloom!? , strangely enough, it made me reconsider the mission of Oozakura🌸. The Miharu Takizakura tree in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, which is said to be 1,000 years old, certainly has wonderful weeping, but when it is so amazing, I get the feeling that it has been forced to survive by people. Am I the only one who feels this is somehow cruel? . Cherry Blossoms🌸In the beginning, we will walk around the [Museum]. There are fine cherry blossoms 🌸 on the back side, but this one has not bloomed yet. Even in the cherry blossoms on the same premises, you can see the self-assertion of when they will bloom!? I'm glad I came 👌. I'm too old, so I'm afraid I won't be able to visit again, but it was a memorable and wonderful view of the Edohigan cherry blossoms. I would like to thank you for the opportunity to meet you. Thank you very much. Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine is a Shinto shrine featuring a 5-tiered pagoda and an observation deck that provides stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji. While the shrine itself may not be the main attraction, the surrounding area offers a serene atmosphere with simple streets, parks, and a small city overlooking Mount Fuji. Visitors can savor local specialties like the delicious Fuji Palace fried noodles available in sauce or salt flavors.
THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!!!! It has an iconic view of Mt Fuji, and if possible go during Cherry Blossom time. Wear good shoes for climbing stairs or walking a path. It is an easy hike but is step. A great place to get some family/graduation/engagement/ect.. photos.

I used GPS to drive to the vicinity of the JR station, but the road to the parking lot of the temple itself is very narrow. It snowed heavily the day before(6 Feb)and the road was very slippery. If you want to take photos of Mount Fuji in the background, and you have to rely on some luck when visiting, it is best to wear light clothes and It will be more convenient to wear sports hiking shoes on the stairs.

Mt. Fuji views + fall colors + Sunny weather = perfect visit! We visited this shrine on a bright sunny day in November and it was stunning. Mt. Fuji was visible all through the way up to the shrine along with bright read, yellow fall colors. Haven't seen it in other seasons, but visit during Autumn is a must. The climb up to the shrine wont take more than 20 min if you simply climb, but with such beautiful scenery, it took us more than an hour just capturing photos. Highly recommended to visit this when in the Fuji area. The five-storied pagoda at the top along with Mt. Fuji in the background is a perfect picture for a postcard. As with other places, this is heavily crowded and expect a lot of people. Located close to Kawaguchiko!

Arakura Fuji Sengen Junja Shrine is one of the best spots in the neighborhood to see the beautiful and magnificent views of Mt. Fuji. Don't miss the gorgeous view of Mt. Fuji from Arakura Fuji Shengen Shrine. Must get there as early as possible, then you will have a car park space. If not, you have to wait and waste your time. Getting off, do not forget to go to the toilet which is at the right hand side of the entrance. Later on you will walk up the hill top. In general, there are 2 places at the Shrine you can see Mt Fuji most beautiful, opposite to the temple and the hill top. The face of Mt. Fuji changes drastically, always concealed by clouds. Furthermore, Raining season may reduce the appearance of the mountain.

A great workout in the form of a climb up the 400 steps to the shrine, which is supposedly able to give you a combined view of Mount Fuji and the Shrine itself - didn’t manage to head to the view point because we were in a rush to head back down to meet the timing. Nonetheless, still a great spot to catch an integrated shot of the Sakura and Mount Fuji together!

For people who are planning to drive there - 1. There is on-site parking with quite a number of slots. I arrived there at 3pm - quite late and had no issues finding a slot. But it could run out quickly during peak season I believe. 2. The viewing is stunning - unfortunately the Fujiyama was partially covered by clouds when I visited. But it still looks great! 3. Unless you really want to take a photo from the most famous spot (like the postcard), it may only take you 1-1.5 hours to tour around. There are trails designed for people who are not fan of stairs, like me. It only takes a short while to reach the top. So don’t rush - just chill and enjoy the beautiful view.

Beautiful pagoda not far from the station in Shimoyoshida. However, you should be good on foot to master the approximately 300 steps to the viewing platform. There is no elevator or low barrier staircase here. The view from the top compensates for the climb. The entrance fee is free and there are plenty of toilets.

we went on a sunny weather last December 3rd of this year 2023. the majestic view of Mt.fuji with the pagoda on the background was beautiful making it worth the 400 steps that you have to endure going up. It was torture on my knees and legs, but i can say it was well worth the struggle. PARKING: the parking is free but it is limited. we were made to wait for about 15-20mins for a space to park. it is a ramp-like road going up to the parking, be careful if your car doesn't have automatic break.

Japanese restaurant
Shimizuya is a no-frills Japanese eatery that specializes in serving delectable grilled eel over rice. The restaurant takes pride in carefully considering the unique qualities of each eel and the level of grilling to ensure a consistent taste that has been their specialty for three generations. Using charcoal fire, they prepare both the shirayaki unagi and unagi dipped in sauce.
So good taste and reasonable price. The highest dish is 3500 and bbq leavers are 500 yen.

(Translated by Google) It was a way to complete the order and payment at the entrance as a measure against corona, and then go out and wait in line. I ordered Unaju. The eel is fluffy and soft, and the hot and hot rice is often entwined with a sweet and spicy sauce, making it delicious. Liver sucking is also delicious. It is a well-known store.

Although the appearance is quite old, Has the store been renovated? The kitchen is brand new, and the restaurant overall is clean. When you enter the store, you first order at the counter, Then there is a seating system. I wonder if it's an operation to speed up the turnover, which is unique to popular stores. The menu was also quite simple. I asked for eel rice, I was guided to a tatami room. Customers keep coming into the store. There was no wait, but it's quite popular. Green tea is delicious. There were also many autographs from celebrities on display. Eel has a round appearance and is meaty. The plump eel is It has a good amount of fat, but it has a firm and firm texture. It doesn't feel soft, but It felt elastic and fresh. I really like this. The rice was cooked well. The sauce is really strong. This will be fine for this thick eel. I sprinkled some Japanese pepper on the way, A type with a strong aroma and spiciness. It was tangy. This was pretty good♪ I feel like I have to be careful not to overdo it. The liver sucking was delicious. The balance of soup stock and salt was very good. I haven't eaten that much, but This might be the best liver soup I've ever eaten. The fresh incense is pretty normal. It doesn't feel handmade and is a ready-made product. Yeah. I can see why it's popular. Recently, the price of eel has been rising, The price is also reasonable. The customer service is also nice and makes you feel at home. There were also many customers who appeared to be regulars. Thank you for the meal.

(Translated by Google) Although the appearance is rustic, the inside of the store is spacious and clean. The most important part is the eel, which is grilled over charcoal throughout the process, so when you eat it, there's a faint aroma of charcoal that enhances its deliciousness. The prices are very reasonable and it's a restaurant you'll want to come back to again. The parking lot is very convenient, with space for about 20 cars near the store. It was delicious.

Depending on the time you may have to wait Luckily on this day, I was able to get a seat without any waiting time. I'm lucky. It's thick, plump, and absolutely delicious. I can't forget this taste and want to go to Shimizuya as soon as I return to my hometown. The meat was so soft that even my 2 year old could eat it. There is also a tatami room, so you can feel safe if you are bringing children, but it may be better to carry a baby carrier.
