Nestled amidst the breathtaking Himalayan ranges and situated across the Lidder River, Pahalgam Golf Course is a paradise for avid golfers. This premium golf course is one of the highest in the world, offering stunning views at an elevation of 2400 meters above sea level. Initially established as a 9-hole course, it has now been upgraded to an impressive 18 holes.
Serenity and natural beauty unlimited in this picturesquecourse all contained in the valley, surrounded all around by high and green mountain ranges. The golf course itself is okay and worth admiration only because of the altitude at which it is licated. Fairways can be better, and the greens are good, true and challenging. At this time of the year with so much rains, the greens keeper is doing a good job at keeping the greens in play. That they are slow is understandable. Enjoy the views and the walk.

"The golf course of Pahalgam is located at an elevation of 2400 metres above the sea level, amidst snow-capped mountains and dense pine forestations. Pahalgam Golf Course covers a wide expanse of elevated and plain area in the narrow valley, which is why locals often refer to it as a plateau. The plateau rises near the spot where the two rivers from Sheshnag and Aru meet. Initially established as a 9-hole golf course, the Pahalgam Golf Course has now been upgraded to an 18-hole golf course. The state government and hoteliers host several championships in the sprawling green premises of this high altitude golf ground. A golf club lies on one side of this course, from where visitors can rent golf caddies and equipment. Visitors coming to this place can play this interesting game, for which the club charges fees at an hourly basis. They can also visit the deer park, located on one end of this famous golf course."

The cafe location and looks are great. However, i did not find value for money. The coffee was descent but the quantity offered for that price was not worth it. Its not about being expensive, but being more value for money.

One of the decent and cute looking cafes. We just went to try trout and we loved it. The presentation was good. The taste was excellent. The fish was cooked nicely and properly. Restaurant is located in the main market easily accessible Service was good with good staff.

One of the few decent places in Pahalgam market you may want to visit for good food. Their speciality is trout (fish) platters and dishes. We ordered fried trout dish and thin crust pizza, both were delicious. The best part - they offer you a tasting sample of any drink you ordered so that you could control the taste as you like it. I ordered a cold coffee, tasted the sample, okayed it and the final product was exactly same. This was a unique concept for me. There were cup cakes and pastries on offer as well. The wooden ambience adds to the elegance. A must visit if you are visiting Pahalgam market!

Cafe Log In is one of the best cafes in Pehelgam, offering a remarkable ambiance and serving exceptional coffee. As soon as you step into the cafe, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior is tastefully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern elegance. The soft lighting, comfortable seating, and soothing background music create a cozy and relaxed environment. At Cafe Log In, the coffee is simply outstanding. Whether you are a fan of traditional cappuccinos, creamy lattes, or robust espressos, the skilled baristas prepare each cup with precision and expertise. The enticing aroma and delicious flavors of their coffee never fail to impress. During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring their almond trout, and it was a true culinary delight. The trout was cooked to perfection, and the addition of almonds added a delightful crunch and nutty flavor to the dish. One thing to note is that Cafe Log In operates on a self-serve basis, allowing you to customize your coffee experience and enjoy the cafe at your own pace. Overall, Cafe Log In is a must-visit destination for coffee enthusiasts seeking a wonderful ambiance and memorable dining experience in Pehelgam.

Dana Pani, a Punjabi restaurant in Pahalgam, is a great option for vegetarians. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The service is also good.
This is an absolutely yummy place in the market. Prompt service, great taste, good food quantity. Be ready for a 15 min wait as this place seems to be always full at peek hours. I did visit them twice and enjoyed it both the times. I just had to give a star ⭐ less on the food as the jeera rice I ordered on my first visit had some half cooked rice which really isn't expected from this institution. While the dining zone is clean, I think they can do a little more on the wash basin and washroom.

Very very crowded place, almost all taxi drivers stop here, maybe they have tie up with taxi drivers? There is almost a wait time of 45 minutes and no proper ordering system is there. Food is just average. There is so much chaos that you cannot eat your food properly. EDIT 1: The owner says I didn't had food from here where as in original review it is written food is just average, we waited 1 hour for our turn to come and have our food. What a waste of huge opportunity to address the feedback and rectify.
Harveen Chadha — Google review
As per the trip advisor and a few other sources, this is supposed to be the number 1 rated food place in Pahalgam. For pure vegetarians the food quality is fine, however, some improvements would make it a lot more lucrative and delicious. The lovely owner of the restaurant was very hospitable and welcomed our suggestions and feedback positively. We had Kadhai paneer and Dal tadka with butter naan and plain rice... I have to say the best I tasted here in Pahalgam. Gobi Manchurian and fried rice were not bad but could use some improvements. If you are in Pahalgam and you love vegetarian food, you must Visit this place for a meal.

Just dont give a second thought.. you got to eat here. It does not get better than this in Kashmir. This is by far the best restaurant in Pahelgam, Gulmarg and Shrinagar combined. The food is just how it should be. We were fed up food no matter where ever we went.. I had been to them 12 years ago.. and till date they have the same chefs. The service is prompt. And the budget was pocket friendly. So many families walking across the billing counter were just thanking Sardar uncle endlessly. Had an unfriendly experience .. no welcome gesture from staff.. it felt like just a formality .. come .. eat .. pay and go. Don't what was the rush as there were customers on 2 tables only at that time J&K is known for its humbleness and love spreading nature but it was lost there. And we had breakfast there and ordered to pack chilli potato. They just packed the simple fried potatoes without even adding salt and I didn't thought to check them once as it is very famous restuarant. Later, I just threw them after all who'd eat plain fried potatoes without salt and spices.

The place is extremely crowded during lunch hours, the food was way too salty, and no matter the time of they day you go they make sure they get one item of your order wrong Had gone for lunch initially and ordered chole bhature and fried rice, both had more salt than necessary and was an overall put off. Not to mention it's jam packed and people have no regard for personal space and you can even find people bringing their own food and having a feast over there Had also gone to get some tea/coffee after returning from chandanwari in the evening when there wasn't a rush, the waiter who took the order managed to mess up the order for 3 teas

After few days of being in Kashmir. I was just craving for Mumbai ka khana. Happen to visit pahalgam* and find Nathu's Rasoi . It was my go to restaurant for 3 days. The food is fine not at par from the food we eat in Mumbai. Heavily crowded. The orders usually gets mixed up. You have to be all ears and vigilant for your order. Pricey food for the quantity and taste provided. Locals are great to talk and pass your time till your food arrives.

The food is clean but quality is not good, ordered fried rice, rice, rajma, mix veg. The food was tasteless and rice was half cooked. Only chowmein was tasty. Kheer was also tasty.

Food was excellent but prices are about 30% more expansive then other restaurants around here, and this is self service restaurant like if you need 1 roti you have to go to the counter and order it and pay there and their waiter will serve you on your table.

The utter chaos of managing orders at rush hour is what will make me never go there again. They messed up the order sequences (confused order numbers with token numbers) The food taste was great which is probably the only good point of this Resturant. They need to work on operations and have the staff understand the importance of serving correct orders.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally post reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. The "Walnut Pie" may be the best dessert I’ve ever had! Just annoyed I had to share it...
